How To Time Travel, According To A Physicist!

Brian Greene, professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University explains what we know about time travel so far.

It's critical that you realize that there are two types of time travel, and they are radically different. Time travel to the future? Definitely possible.

We know how to do it because Einstein showed us the way over a hundred years ago. It’s surprising how few people actually really know about this in their bones.

He showed that if you go out into space and travel near the speed of light, and you turn around, and you come back, your clock will be ticking off time more slowly. So, when you step off it's going to be the future on planet Earth. You will have time traveled into the future.

He also showed that if you hang out near a nice strong source of gravity, a neutron star, a black hole  and you kind of get right near the edge of that object, time also for you would slow down real slow relative to everybody else. And therefore, when you come back to Earth, for instance, it'll again be far into the future.

This is not controversial stuff. Any physicist who knows what they're talking about agrees with this. But the other kind of time travel — to the past is where the arguments start to happen because many of us don't think that time travel to the past is possible.

The main proposal that people at least consider worthy of attention for traveling to the past does make use of a weird concept called wormholes. A wormhole is something that really … Albert Einstein again discovered. The guy has like got his name written over everything in this field.

It's a bridge, if you will, from one location space to another. It's kind of a tunnel that gives you a shortcut to go from here to here.

Now he discovered this in 1935 but it was subsequently realized that if you manipulate the openings of a wormhole — put one near a black hole or take one on a high-speed journey, then time of the two openings of this wormhole tunnel will not take off at the same rate, so that you will no longer just go from one location in space to another, if you go through this tunnel, through this wormhole, you'll go from one moment in time to a different moment in time.

Go one way, you'll travel to the past, the other way, travel to the future.

Now again, we don't know if wormholes are real. We don't know if they are real whether you'll be able to go through them.

So, there are all sorts of uncertainties here. Most of us think that you're not going to actually go on a whirlwind journey through a wormhole to the past. But it's still not ruled out.

On the matter of doppelgangers, Britannica.com states:  “Doppelgänger, (German: ‘double goer’), in German folklore, a wraith or apparition of a living person, as distinguished from a ghost. The concept of the existence of a spirit double, an exact but usually invisible replica of every man, bird, or beast, is an ancient and widespread belief. To meet one’s double is a sign that one’s death is imminent. The doppelgänger became a popular symbol of horror literature, and the theme took on considerable complexity.” Then, there’s the following from Mythology.net: ” Stories of doppelgangers date back to ancient myth and legend. The theme of an evil twin or haunting ghost replica have featured numerous times in literature and art, depicting an innate fascination with the concept, whether real or imaginary. The concept of a good and evil twin is noted as far back as the 5^th century BC, in an ancient Iranian religion called Zoroastrianism. The two primal spirits were the sons of time and represented darkness and light.”

All of which brings me to the matter of, as per the title of this article, the strange story of Brad Steiger’s very own doppelgangers. It was a few years ago that Brad shared with me the extremely weird saga. He said: “After more than 50 years of research in the UFO and paranormal fields, I have come to the conclusion that many of the mysteries that bedevil us are products of a reflexive phenomenon.  This reflexive action does not usually occur in the more mundane pursuits of architecture, industry, mining, agriculture and the like, but once one begins actively to pursue Ufology or psychical research, one runs the risk of entering a surreal world in which the usual physical laws do not apply.”

Surreal, indeed, as the following words from Brad made abundantly clear: “In the following cases I suspect a human agency was involved in a strange campaign that was conducted regarding Steiger imposters who spoke at various conferences around the United States. On occasions the imposters allegedly conducted themselves very well, thus making the whole enterprise of ‘Counterfeit Steigers’ a seemingly futile project. On other occasions, the imposter’s assignment was quite obviously to taint my reputation.

“On a unfortunate number of occasions, I received letters complaining of my outrageous and insulting behavior while speaking at a conference. There were claims that I had openly berated my audience, calling them stupid for accepting the very premise of UFOs. A close friend happened to arrive on the scene after one pseudo-Steiger had departed and tried his best to assure the sponsors of the event that the rowdy, disrespectful speaker could not have been the real Brad.  In his letter, my friend warned me that he had visited a number of lecture halls where the imposter had damned his audiences. ‘Someone seems out to damage your reputation,’ he advised.

“In a most bizarre twist, dozens of men and women have approached me at various lectures and seminars, congratulating me about the manner in which I bested Dr. Carl Sagan in debate. The event allegedly occurred after a lecture when I happened to bump into the great scientist in a restaurant.  The eatery, according to the witnesses, was crowded with those who had attended the seminar, and they egged on a debate between myself and Dr. Sagan.  I mopped up the floor with him, countering his every argument against the reality of UFOs. The truth is that I never met Dr. Sagan, therefore, neither had I ever debated him. But from coast to coast, there are those who claim to have witnessed my triumphal bout.

“Even more individuals claim to have been in the audience when I delivered a rousing message from the Space Brothers in Seattle.  Regardless of how often I deny that I was not in Seattle at that time and have never channeled the Space Brothers, those who were at that event are puzzled why I would deny my eloquence.”

Truly, a bizarre and sinister story.

Some of the most interesting UFO reports from over the years are those which occurred at sea. Entire books have been written about this subject, most notably, Ivan Sanderson’s Invisible Residents (1970), which may have been the first major offering to look deeply at a maritime component to the broader UFO enigma.

In the book, Sanderson leads off with an explosive account, to put it lightly. “One evening in the Antarctic,” Sanderson writes, “a Brazilian scientist by the name of Dr. Rubens J. Villela, seconded to the U.S. Navy’s ‘Operation Deep Freeze’ and aboard an icebreaker, was literally jolted almost out of both his body and his mind by a ‘something’ that suddenly came roaring up out of the sea through no less than 37 feet of ice, and went on up into the sky like a vast silvery bullet. The ship was in Admiralty Bay, which faces the South Atlantic Ocean.”

Explosive indeed. It is one of countless similar reports; and by saying “countless,” I don’t mean this merely as an expression used in passing. One might argue that there are literally too many reports of odd things like this, observed in our skies, and particularly over our oceans, to be able to count them reliably.

Many can be explained as some prosaic things, of course, and some others are likely the results of biological phenomenon such as bioluminescent organisms and other naturally-occurring “light shows” that can appear in certain regions of ocean water. However, there are always those outliers, which are a bit more difficult to explain.

In keeping with Sanderson’s description of a “vast silvery bullet” from earlier, an interesting report occurred in the 1980s, where employees with the RCA Service Company at the Atlantic Underwater Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) base in the Bahamas observed an unusual object as it passed overhead one evening.

The primary witness had been a crew member stationed there in 1985, when he and another crew member were performing a routine overnight watch that lasted from midnight until 4 AM. Suddenly, a source of light traveling through the sky caught their attention, when they turned and saw two strange “rockets” flying side by side, which passed directly over their ship traveling on an easterly course.

According to a witness statement supplied to NUFORC:

These “rockets” were highly unusual as neither made any sound, were traveling at an oddly slow rate of speed and were visible to us for about 15 seconds. However, the rockets left behind contrails that glowed brightly and which were “multi-colored,” in that the contrail smoke changed from white to green to blue to pink and then disappeared completely after about ten minutes. (I estimate that they passed over us at an altitude of about 500 to 1000 feet; both rockets were white-colored and perhaps 25 to 40 feet in length).

The witnessed wondered whether these projectile-like objects could have been part of some secret U.S. Navy test that had been underway in the area. However, the main witness noted that he felt any AUTEC personnel would have possessed knowledge of U.S. Navy experiments in the area, of which none were known at that time.

“As an AUTEC vessel, we would definitely have been informed that such a test was being undertaken,” the witness stated, “and subsequently warned to stay out of the area. This had always been the Navy’s practice during similar rocket firing tests that I witnessed while working at sea in the same area.”

After their sighting of the two unusual objects, the witness checked with an air traffic control operator back at the Andros base, who said he had no knowledge of anything akin to rocket tests that had taken place on the night of the sighting, though he “certainly would have been in a position to know.”

The witness said he and his companion “never heard of rockets that travel in such close proximity to each other,” or “at such an unusually slow speed.” Also unusual was the fact that these objects, whatever they were, made no sound whatsoever.

“Since that incident occurred,” the witness concluded, “I have learned that there is a known history of so-called ghost rocket sightings in other parts of the world, particularly in Sweden.”

Could these two objects witnessed by two AUTEC crew members in the summer of 1985 have been anything akin to the mysterious projectiles observed over Scandinavia almost half a century earlier? In any case, we can count them among the “countless” other sightings I addressed near the outset of this report, and among the many “unknowns” that occasionally appear in the skies over our oceans.

Trump’s Space Force Isn’t the Only Military Space Program: Here’s What China and Russia Are Up To

The United States may or may not be getting a Space Force, but while President Trump is all-in on the creation of a new branch of the U.S. Military—and blowing up the military bureaucracy—it’s worth keeping in mind other countries have their military space programs. A recent DIA report shines a light on how the U.S. views these programs, particularly those of Russia and China, neither of which seem particularly threatening—for now anyway. 

This week President Donald Trump signed Space Policy Directive 4, ordering the Pentagon to stand up the Space Force as a new branch of the U.S. military. The Space Force, which still requires the blessing of Congress, is miles from being able to put moon boots on the ground, and its existence—let alone usefulness—is still a puzzle to many. To look at how supporters justify the Space Force, it’s useful to look at America’s potential adversaries, particularly Russia and China, and what the U.S. government claims they’re doing in space.

Russia is potentially America’s foremost space adversary, at least for now anyway. Russia’s space establishment is an inheritance from the Cold War-era USSR, and the country has a lot of operational extraterrestrial hardware today. The USSR never landed astronauts on the moon or flew a reusable spacecraft like the Space Shuttle, but it was the first country to put a man in space (and unlike the United States, Russia can still do that today) and orbited the space station Mir long before the International Space Station was in the sky. 

The USSR was also arguably the first to militarize space, placing a cannon the Salyut-3 space station, and the Pentagon is still wary of Russia’s intentions. The Pentagon is most concerned with Russia’s military counter-space program, which it believes is pointed squarely at the United States. The Defense Intelligence Agency’s Challenges to Security in Space report, published in February 2019, claims that “Russia views America’s perceived dependence on space as the ‘Achilles heel’ of U.S. military power, which can be exploited to achieve Russian conflict objectives.”

It goes on:

Russia is therefore pursuing counterspace systems to neutralize or deny U.S. space-based services, both military and commercial, as a means of offsetting a perceived U.S. military advantage and is developing an array of weapons designed to interfere with or destroy an adversary’s satellites.

How does Russia plan to do this? First, Moscow needs to know what U.S. space assets to target in wartime. Despite the loss of the economic and military power of the wider Soviet Union, Russia still maintains a network of “telescopes, radars, and other sensors,” capable of detecting and tracking U.S. satellites and other space objects. Russia would likely go after America’s military-controlled NAVSTAR GPS satellites (24 of them), Milstar military communications satellites (eight), the Defense Satellite Communications System satellites (seven), and literally dozens of early missile warning, reconnaissance, and surveillance satellites. The loss of GPS satellites in particular would hit civilian smartphone and other GPS users around the globe.

Interfering with space assets doesn’t necessarily require going into space. Moscow has led efforts to develop GPS jamming technology like something recently detected in the Black Sea and near the Russian-Norwegian border. It could also jam-interfere with satellites and their ability to pass messages between terrestrial forces. Finally, hacking satellites or ground stations could prevent their use by adversaries. Not only do none of these measures actually involve going into space, in some cases they can be done from the comfort of home.

A straightforward solution is to fire a ground-based laser at a satellite in low earth orbit, blinding or otherwise disabling it. The new DIA report warns that the Peresvet laser weapon, deployed in late 2018, is designed to attack enemy satellites. The DIA also reports that Russia is likely testing a “ground-based, mobile missile system” for the destruction of incoming ballistic missiles and satellites.

China is the other major space power. China launched its first satellite in April 1970, but ramped up space activities in the late 1990s and 2000s as the country experienced rapid economic growth. China launched its first taikonaut, Yang Liwei, into space in 2003, and in January 2019 landed a probe on the far side of the moon.

Like Russia, the U.S. is worried about Chinese counterspace activities potentially aimed at American satellites. Like Russia, China has a network of space surveillance assets, including telescopes, radars, and space tracking ships such as the small fleet of Yuan Wang space event ships, whose huge two huge high frequency parabolic antennas and optical tracking stations can monitor satellites in space. 

The Defense Intelligence Agency believes that China is following a similar track to Russia, developing counterspace assets that can cripple U.S. forces in wartime. The DIA believes that China will attempt to interfere with satellites from the ground, but also believes it is prepared to physically go after satellites: Chinese research into satellites that can close with objects in space, repair satellites, and clean up “space debris,” the DIA argues, could be used to go after perfectly good enemy satellites and disable them.

China also has an anti-satellite missile, the SC-19, believed to be currently operational. The SC-19 was tested in 2007 against the obsolete Fengyun-1C weather satellite, an incident viewed with alarm not just because it was an anti-satellite weapon but because it produced more than 3,000 pieces of hazardous space debris. The Pentagon believes China is developing ground-based anti-satellite weapons, including a laser that could damage the optics of spy satellites by 2020, and further in the future, a more powerful laser to disable GPS and communications satellites.

Russian and Chinese counterspace efforts are just one part of the military space efforts of both countries, but both seem pretty squarely aimed at the United States’ military space assets. They are not, for example, working to place nuclear or other weapons in space that could be dropped down on the heads of ordinary Americans. Both countries realize a key truth about the modern American way of war: if war comes, America fights its wars in some else’s backyard. In the event of war, U.S. forces would use communications and navigation satellites to coordinate the flow of ships, aircraft, and formations of troops over thousands of miles, across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to the doorsteps of both Russia and China. Advocates of the U.S. Space Force believe that Russia, China, and other entities are seeking ways to disrupt that flow in wartime and give themselves an edge. That’s a pretty natural reaction to a potential adversary.

There are unknowns here that should give us pause. We don’t how true claims of Russian and Chinese ground-based anti-satellite lasers are. The Pentagon first warned of a similar Soviet laser weapon in 1985 but the actual system fell far short of weapon status. Another thing we don’t know: the intent of Russia and China to use anti-satellite weapons. While early use by both countries might be advantageous in a conventional war, the benefits could be short-lived. Moscow and Beijing would both have to weigh whether it was more important to slow the Americans down or avoid a war in space that could wipe out their own fleets of satellites.

Is there enough of a threat here to justify an entirely new arm of the Pentagon? The answer is “probably not yet.” As important as our military satellites are, the threat to them is relatively thin at this point. Supporters of the Space Force have really not answered the question of how a new branch of the military bureaucracy would do a better job than the current military bureaucracy, and the current U.S. leadership lacks credibility. As more of America’s economy becomes space-oriented a Space Force is an inevitability. But now, in 2019? It doesn’t seem to make sense.

Oxford University professor claims aliens are already breeding with humans on earth

AN Oxford University professor has claimed aliens are already breeding with humans to create a new hybrid species that will save the planet.

Dr Young-hae Chi, an instructor in Korean at Oxford’s Oriental Institute, part of the prestigious university, thinks this new species will save Earth from annihilation from climate change.

Dr Chi first said the hybrids may already exist in a lecture in 2012 but has now written a book on the subject.

He believes there is a strong correlation between climate change and alienabductions, the Oxford Student newspaper has reported.

His book, written in Korean, is called Alien Visitations and the End of Humanity.

He says he has identified four types of aliens – small, tall and bold, scaly with snake eyes, and insect-like.

Dr Chi believes the insect aliens may be in charge and give orders to the other types.

The aliens exist in their own bio-system that humans cannot experience because our perception is limited by our organs, the professor has claimed.

As the aliens are said to be highly intelligent, so Dr Chi believes they could solve the problems on Earth in the future, such as climate change.

He said: “So, they come not for the sake of us, but for the sake of them, their survival, but their survival is actually our survival as well — the survival of the entire biosphere.”

Dr Chi said he was “still looking for more evidence to support my view”.

His initial lecture, Alien Abduction and the Environmental Crisis, outlined his theory.

He cited an “abduction researcher” in the US, who argued that aliens’ primary purpose is to colonise the planet by interbreeding with humans to produce a new hybrid species.

Dr Chi believes aliens appear on Earth when the planet is facing significant problems, such as climate change or nuclear war, and he concluded: “It may be more or less assumed that the hybrid project is a response to this impending demise of human civilisation.”

In his fifty-five minute presentation he cited Dr David Jacobs, an ‘abduction researcher’ in the US, who argued that aliens’ primary purpose is to colonise the earth, by interbreeding with humans to produce a new hybrid species. Second generation ‘hybrids’ are, according to Jacobs, walking unobserved among us. 

Dr Chi argued that “it is not only scientists and theologians, but also non-human species who appear to be greatly concerned about the survivability of the human species”. He pointed out that the timing of aliens’ appearance coincides with the earth facing major problems, climate change and nuclear weapons in particular. He concludes that “it may be more or less assumed that the hybrid project is a response to this impending demise of human civilisation”.

Bringing Centuries of Bad Luck: 10 Unlucky Artifacts and Cursed Archaeological Sites

When an artifact or location is called ‘cursed’ it often refers to bad luck befalling whoever possesses the object or disrespects, or sometimes just visits, the site. Curses, jinxes, hexes, and black magic were a common element in the ancient world to punish or spread misfortune and many people believe that certain places and artifacts have been cursed by angered individuals looking to create havoc for mistreatment suffered in their lives.

1. The Curse of the Stolen Ring of Senicianus

Sometime during the 4th century AD, Silvianus, a Roman stationed in Gloucestershire, England, visited the elaborate baths of the Celtic God Nodens. Located on a hill above the River Severn at Lydney, the temple of Nodens celebrated the Roman-British deity that is associated with healing, hunting, dogs, and the sea.

When Silvianus was at the temple, his gold ring was stolen from him. Silvianus believed that it was Senicianus who stole it, thus he went to the temple and prepared a lead plate known as a defixio or ‘curse tablet’ . He inscribed the tablet in Latin and the text is translated: ‘For the god Nodens. Silvianus has lost a ring and has donated one half [its worth] to Nodens. Among those named Senicianus permit no good health until it is returned to the temple of Nodens.’

In 1929, archaeologist Sir Mortimer Wheeler saw a connection between the ring and the curse tablet. The connection cannot be entirely confirmed, however, Senicianus is an unusual name and the close dates of the artifacts seem to support Wheeler’s theory.

J.R.R. Tolkien was asked by his friend Wheeler to help clarify who the obscure god Nodens was and what role he might play in the history of the Ring. Many now believe that the Ring of Senicianus was the inspiration for the ring in The Hobbit.

2. Gold Fever and the Unlucky Artifacts in the Karun Treasure of the Lydians

When a collection of stunning Lydian artifacts were discovered in the Uşak Province in Turkey in 1966, archaeologists were amazed with the 363 ancient artifacts dating back to the 7th century BC. But the impressive Karun treasure, as it’s now known, caused many troubles and locals say the treasure is cursed and brings nothing but problems and death.

As time passed, people started to see more and more issues with the treasure and even when they were celebrating the discovery, people of the Uşak Province feared that the hoard was not necessarily a good thing. What is the curse supposedly connected to the famous treasure about? It’s all related to a “ gold fever” . Legends say that people get sick from the treasure and apparently cannot stop themselves from trying to get a piece of it for themselves.

Currently, the mysterious artifacts are exhibited in the Uşak Museum of Archaeology. During the years of the battle between the Turkish government and the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art (1987-1993), the Americans had to send back all the previously purchased artifacts. However, in May 2006 one of the artifacts was identified as a fake. A larger problem is that currently no one knows how many of the artifacts from the original collection were replaced with forgeries. Could the fake relics be explained by the Karun treasure curse?

3. King Tut’s Cursed Trumpets that Summon Wars

In 1922, the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered in Egypt by an expedition led by the archaeologist Howard Carter. The discoveries made in uncovering the largely untouched tomb provided a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egypt, its burial practices, and its customs. Among the amazing items recovered was a set of wooden, silver, and bronze trumpets – a fascinating find, but possibly a cursed one too.

The sound of one of the trumpets was recorded in 1939 by BBC Radio so that people from all over the world heard the sound of this extraordinary and ancient instrument. A few months after the trumpet was played, World War II broke out, eventually leading to a legend that the trumpets had the magical power to summon war.

In fact, the earliest trumpets in Egypt appear to have been used for military purposes, to alert and possibly direct soldiers on the battlefield. Egyptian archaeologists, such as Zahi Hawass , do believe the trumpets have magical powers related to war. Egyptologist Hala Hassan, a supporter of the idea that the trumpets are cursed, also claims that one of the trumpets was played in 1967 and again in 1990 by anonymous students who were conducting a study on the Tutankhamun artifacts.

Furthermore, Hassan said that in 2011, a week before the revolution broke out, a staff member, again anonymous, at the museum had been photographing and documenting the artifact and he apparently played it. So far, these stories are anecdotal and do not provide conclusive evidence for the reality of the curse. But that hasn’t stopped the legend of King Tut’s cursed trumpets.

4. The “Curse” of the Hope Diamond

It is widely believed that the Hope Diamond is cursed, as bad luck has (supposedly) befallen a number of people who were connected to the diamond. A counter-claim also exists, which states that there is no evidence to support this popular belief, and that the curse was fabricated solely to arouse interest in the artifact.

According to one version of the origin story of the Hope Diamond, this diamond once adorned an idol in a Hindu temple in India. One day, the diamond was stolen by a Hindu priest, who was punished with a slow and agonizing death for his crime. Somehow, the diamond is said to have ended up in a mine by the Krishna River in southwest India.

Another version of the story has its first European owner, a French merchant by the name of Jean Baptiste Tavernier, as the sacrilegious thief. Additionally, it is claimed that Tavernier was struck by the ‘curse’, coming down with a raging fever shortly after stealing the diamond, dying, and his corpse being ravaged by wolves. However, this appears to be a legend – Tavernier is recorded to have lived until a ripe old age of 84, returned to France, sold the diamond to the French king , retired to Russia, and died peacefully many years later.

5. The ‘Unlucky Mummy’ Said to Have Sunk the Titanic

Strange occurrences have been said to eddy around an ancient Egyptian artifact known as the “Unlucky Mummy” since it was taken from Egypt to Europe in the 19th century. Some of these stories are certainly myth, but some were allegedly verified by a journalist named Bertram Fletcher Robinson in the early 20th century.

The history of this artifact (which is not actually the entire mummy, but rather the mummy’s case lid) was recounted in the August 1909 edition of Pearson’s Magazine. Robinson found it was discovered in Egypt by an Arab who sold it to a Mr. W at a party organized by a “well-known English lady of title.”

It is recorded that “On the return journey of the party, one of the members was shot accidentally in the arm by his servant, through a gun exploding without visible cause. The arm had to be amputated. Another died in poverty within a year. A third was shot. The owner of the mummy case found, on reaching Cairo, that he had lost a large part of his fortune, and died soon afterwards. When the case arrived in England, it was given by its owner, Mr. W., to a married sister living near London [BRFonline speculates that this may have been a woman by the name of Ms. Warwick Hunt]. At once, misfortune fell upon her household; large financial losses were suffered, bringing other troubles with them.”

But the story of the Unlucky Mummy doesn’t stop there. The artifact allegedly made its way aboard the Titanic and it has even been blamed in some legends for the tragedy. The story of the cursed mummy is interesting, but the Titanic part has been proven false. Apparently the Unlucky Mummy got connected to the ship because a journalist told a friend about anothermalignant mummy spirit and when he died on the ship, the friend got the story all tangled up. The mummy case never left the British Museum and certainly wasn’t on the Titanic.

6. The Cursed Tomb of the Polish King Casimir IV Jagiellon

Before the tomb King Kazimierz Jagiellończyk, known also as Casimir IV Jagiellon, was opened it was major news and all of the researchers in Krakow, Poland began to joke about a curse, which could take many of their lives. Unfortunately for them, the funny anecdotes became a prophecy.

During the examination of the rotten wood coffin and king’s remains a few researchers died, some due to infections and others because of strokes. After a few days, four of the group had passed away, but during the next few years, many others died of cancer or other diseases. In total, it is believed that no less than 15 people who worked at the tomb or in the laboratories died because of contact with the remains of King Casimir IV Jagiellon.

After years of speculations, researchers finally discovered the real reason for the death of more than 15 people connected with the research. There was no curse - the killer was the same as in the Egyptian tomb of King Tut – Aspergillus flavus, a saprophytic and a pathogenic fungus.

Nowadays, researchers are aware that people with lower resistance shouldn’t visit tombs that may have this fungus within. Scholars who join the campaigns which explore ancient tombsmust be healthy enough to not become victims of another ”curse”.

7. A Holy Yet Cursed Medieval Well in England

Legends speak of pilgrims bathing in St. Anne’s Well near Liverpool in England to cure their eye and skin diseases . The well was built to honor Saint Anne, the Virgin Mary’s mother, “who had a cult following in Britain during the late Medieval Period (1066-1485 AD).” Legends say that St. Anne had bathed in the well, providing the waters with healing powers.

Local folklore also states that the steward of a landowner neighboring the well named Hugh Darcy argued with the prior, Father Delwaney, about access to the well and land boundaries. Darcy apparently told Delwaney that the prior would likely not hold his important position much longer, before stomping back toward his master’s estate.

Soon thereafter the monks were apparently removed from the priory by the king’s men. On their way out they passed by the holy well where Father Delwaney saw Hugh Darcy (who seemed to be awaiting them and to have had an “understanding” with the commissioners taking the monks away). The prior was angered by Darcy’s appearance and possible role in the loss of the monastery and he said: “The curse of the serpent be on thee, thou spoiler of the Lord’s inheritance, thy ill-gotten gains shall not profit thee, and a year and a day shall not pass ere St. Anne thy head shall bruise.” Not long after placing this curse on Darcy, the prior fainted and died.

Darcy wasted no time in gaining access to the farmlands around the holy well and tearing down the building made for the pilgrims who visited it. Although things seemed to be going smoothly at first, Darcy “could not get rid of the strange foreboding of coming evil.” Three months later his son died of a mysterious illness and soon after he suffered heavy financial loss. The legend ends with Darcy disappearing after a night of drinking. His body was allegedly found beside the well where his head was crushed in – the prior’s curse had come true.

8. Bad Luck for People Who Disturb Fairy Rings and Fairy Forts

Irish ringforts were ancient circular settlements which were surrounded and enclosed by one or more earthen or stone banks and ditches. As ringforts from the Iron Age fell out of use, their purpose was eventually forgotten and locals explained the strange, circular, built-up sites as the homes of fairies. It is believed that to disturb these sites is to provoke fairies. It is often said that leprechauns, notorious trickster fairies, keep their gold in the forts, which were mainly agricultural settlements or farmsteads, and not actually designed for warfare.

Such is the case for other such ‘fairy dwellings’ traditionally across Europe. Fairy rings are a naturally occurring circle of mushrooms. These rings were traditionally believed to be a portal to the fairy realm , and were often seen as a dark omen and dangerous place.

Tradition dictates that if you have a ringfort on your land, it is to be treated with respect, and not to be damaged, or you might suffer legendary fates , such as livestock dying, family members sickening, and relationships failing.

In recent history, the bankruptcy of a billionaire  has been blamed upon the disturbance of ancient dwellings, when in 2011 Ireland’s richest man, developer Sean Quinn, suffered a catastrophic financial downfall after moving a megalithic burial tomb to make way for a quarry. These kinds of events keep the legendary curses of fairy forts and fairy rings alive.

9. A City Jesus Cursed – Chorazin

Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum are the three and only cities mentioned in the Bible that Jesus allegedly cursed, according to the gospel of Matthew as well as the Gospel of Luke. Chorazin was a city in Galilee where Jesus lived after he left Nazareth.

According to the Bible, Chorazin would see Jesus’ miracles multiple times over at least three years. However, it seems that none of the miracles had any result in changing the lives of the inhabitants of Chorazin and this is the point where Jesus woes Chorazin for not repenting to his powers and changing their ‘ways’. He is said to have used his powers to condemn a whole city in the same way as the God of the Old Testament did numerous times.

Chorazin was actually a prominent ancient city, although during the third century AD the city became uninhabited and today its archaeological remains are identified with the place called Khirbet Kerazeh. However, no archaeological evidence has been found showing that the city existed in the first century AD, the time Jesus was alive.

Eusebius writes that around 330 AD the city was in ruins as a result of a devastating earthquake which was attributed to the punishment of God and the fulfilment of Jesus’ curse. But the dates just don’t coincide.

10. The Ghost City of Bhangarh and the Curse of the Holy Man

The abandoned fort of Bhangarh is thought to be the most haunted place in India, so much so that the Archaeological Survey of India has forbidden access to the site between sunset and sunrise, and locals have moved their town outside the limits of the fort. The reputation of Bhangarh stems from two old legends, both related to curses.

The town of Bhangarh, which is located in the Rajgarh municipality in the state of Rajasthan, was first established in 1573 during the rule of Bhagwant Das as the residence of his second son. The fort, which is actually a small city composed of temples, palaces, and multiple gates, covers a large area of land at the foot of a mountain. But despite its beauty and the picturesque scenery, the fort was completely abandoned by 1783, with locals moving their village elsewhere.

According to legend, the city of Bhangarh was cursed by a holy man named Baba Balnath, who had given permission for the construction of the town so long as the height of the buildings did not cast shadow over his retreat. Balnath warned that if this were to occur, he would destroy the entire city. When a descendant prince raised the palace to a height that cast a shadow over Bhangarh’s abode, it is said that he cursed the whole town. Many believe that Balanath is buried there to this day.

Disclosure Event! Navy Prepares New Guidelines for Reporting UFO Sightings

For many years it was considered a career ender to report these unexplained encounters so many military personnel downplayed them but now the U.S. Navy is updating their reporting protocol for pilots and other witnesses who encounter UFOs.

Politico revealed the U.S. Navy is drafting new guidelines for pilots and other personnel to report encounters with unidentified aircraft which is a significant new step in creating a formal process to collect and analyze the unexplained sightings.

Right now, we have situation in which UFOs and UAPs are treated as anomalies to be ignored rather than anomalies to be explored, the Navy said in a statement in response to questions from Politico.

The Navy isn’t endorsing the idea that its sailors have encountered alien spacecraft. But it is acknowledging there have been enough strange aerial sightings by credible and highly trained military personnel that they need to be recorded in the official record and studied.

Guys I wanted to share this with you. Not only did I find an Egyptian style carving on a hill on Mars, but I actually found several. There are several other carvings near this great one and I added yellow color to the image to make them more visible, because the black and white image often makes details harder to notice. 

This really has me asking...are ancient Egyptians from mars? Did they then move to Egypt, because Egypt is very similar in appearance and weather to that of Mars. No other place on Earth looks as much like Mars. So if this is true, it totally explains why such amazing pyramids are built way out in the middle of nowhere. Its because it was the closest to home that they could come.

US Presidential Candidate Thinks UFOs Probably Exist

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has made exciting statements to the UFO community during a campaign trail interview. Mr Yang said he believes UFOs probably do exist and admitted to being very curious about the phenomenon.

Speaking to New Hampshire newspaper The Conway Daily Sun, Mr Yang said “I’m very curious about UFOs. I have a feeling they probably do exist.”

Mr Yang started to get the attention of the public after he bared a plan to give each over the age of 18 US citizen a universal basic income of $ 1,000 (£773) per month.

It would be given regardless of whether the recipient receives other welfare or is in employment.

Mr Yang came up with the plan to offset the impact of automation, which could result to large scale job losses.

The Conway Daily Sun has a tradition of asking prospective presidential nominees regarding UFOs. Current Democrat frontrunner Bernie Sanders was also asked on his views on UFO’s but refused to talk about it.

The paper is expected to ask the same to former vice-president Joe Biden this week.

During the Democratic presidential primaries in 2016, Mrs Clinton admitted to the paper she thought UFO’s exist.

• An asteroid was discovered on 26 March 2019 and was given the name '2019 PDC' by the Minor Planet Center.
• Very little is known about this newly discovered asteroid’s physical properties. With a magnitude (brightness) of 21.1 – invisible to the naked eye but viewable by professional astronomers – it has been classed as a ‘Potentially Hazardous Asteroid’, and experts have determined its average size could be anywhere from 100-300 metres.
• The day after 2019 PDC was discovered, ESA and NASA’s ‘impact monitoring systems’ identified several future dates when the asteroid could hit Earth. At this early stage, with not many observations yet recorded, both systems agreed that the asteroid was most likely to strike on 29 April 2027 – more than eight years away – with a probability of impact of about 1 in 50 000.
• Astronomers continued to monitor the asteroid for a month after its initial detection, which provided them more information about the object’s trajectory, and have now discovered that the chance of impact is rapidly increasing. By 29 April 2019, (the first day of the Planetary Defence Conference), the probability of impact has risen to 1 in 100.

ESA coordinates European efforts

As in previous years, ESA is sponsoring the event and providing a conference co-chair. A large team of ESA experts will also be present, including members of the Agency’s Near-Earth Object Coordination Centre and the Hera asteroid deflection mission.

During the hypothetical asteroid impact scenario, ESA experts will participate in discussions on the possible risks posed by asteroid 2019 PDC, and what responses could be considered.

“Fortunately, impacts from medium and large asteroids are not very common,” explains Detlef Koschny, senior asteroid expert at ESA who will be involved in the hypothetical scenario.”

“However, this means we have little opportunity to practise our response to this very real – though unlikely – danger. This year’s impact scenario is a very unique chance to run through, in real-time, an asteroid impact.”

How angry pilots got the Navy to stop dismissing UFO sightings

A recent uptick in sightings of unidentified flying objects – or as the military calls them, “unexplained aerial phenomena” – prompted the U.S. Navy to draft formal procedures for pilots to document encounters, a corrective measure that former officials say is long overdue.

“Since 2014, these intrusions have been happening on a regular basis,” Joseph Gradisher, spokesman for the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare, told The Washington Post on Wednesday. Recently, unidentified aircraft entered military-designated airspace as often as multiple times per month. “We want to get to the bottom of this. We need to determine who’s doing it, where it’s coming from and what their intent is. We need to try to find ways to prevent it from happening again.”

Citing safety and security concerns, Gradisher vowed to “investigate each and every report.”

Luis Elizondo, a former senior intelligence officer, told The Post that the new Navy guidelines formalized the reporting process, facilitating data-driven analysis while removing the stigma from talking about UFOs, calling it “the single greatest decision the Navy has made in decades.”

Chris Mellon, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence and a staffer on the Senate Intelligence Committee, was less laudatory.

“I don’t believe in safety through ignorance,” he said, scolding the intelligence community for its lack of “curiosity and courage” and “failure to react” to a strong pattern of sightings.

In some cases, pilots – many of whom are engineers and academy graduates – say they observed small spherical objects flying in formation. Others say they’ve seen white, Tic-Tac-shaped vehicles. Aside from drones, all engines rely on burning fuel to generate power, but these vehicles all had no air intake, no wind and no exhaust.

“It’s very mysterious, and they still seem to exceed our aircraft in speed,” he said, calling it a “truly radical technology.”

According to Mellon, awestruck and baffled pilots, concerned that reporting unidentified flying aircraft would adversely affect their careers, tended not to speak up. And when they did, he said there was little interest in investigating their reports.

“Imagine you see highly advanced vehicles, they appear on radar systems, they look bizarre, no one knows where they’re from. This happens on a recurring basis, and no one does anything,” said Mellon, who now works with UFODATA, a private organization. Because agencies don’t share this type of information, it’s difficult to know the full extent of activity. Still, he estimated that dozens of incidents were witnessed by naval officers in a single year, enough to force the service to address the issue.

“Pilots are upset, and they’re trying to help wake up a slumbering system,” he told The Post.

Lawmakers’ growing curiosity and concern also appeared to coax action out of the Navy.

In 2017, the Pentagon first confirmed the existence of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a government operation launched in 2007 to collect and analyze “anomalous aerospace threats.” As The Post’s Joby Warrick reported, the investigation ranged from “advanced aircraft fielded by traditional U.S. adversaries to commercial drones to possible alien encounters.”

According to former Pentagon officials and documents previously seen by The Post, program funding, which totaled at least $22 million, was suspended in 2012.

Gradisher, the Navy spokesman, said that “in response to requests for information from congressional members and staff, officials have provided a series of briefings by senior Naval Intelligence officials as well as aviators who reported hazards to aviation safety.”

Elizondo, who also ran AATIP, said the newly drafted guidelines were a culmination of many things. Most notably: that the Navy had enough credible evidence – including eyewitness accounts and corroborating radar information – to “know this is occurring.”

“If I came to you and said, ‘There are these things that can fly over our country with impunity, defying the laws of physics, and within moments could deploy a nuclear device at will’ – that would be a matter of national security.”

With the number of U.S. military people in the Air Force and Navy who described the same observations, the noise level could not be ignored.

“This type of activity is very alarming,” Elizondo said, “and people are recognizing there are things in our aerospace that lie beyond our understanding.”

Wetenschappers staan voor raadsel: ons universum groeit sneller dan gedacht maar niemand weet waarom - HLN.be

Wetenschappers proberen al lang te achterhalen hoe snel onze ruimte precies uitdijt. Om dat te berekenen heeft onderzoeker Adam Riess de NASA-ruimtetelescoop Hubble ingezet. Hubble heeft 70 pulserende sterren (cepheïden, nvdr.) bestudeerd in het naburige sterrenstelsel de Grote Magelhaense Wolk, dat zo’n 162.000 lichtjaren van ons stelsel verwijderd is. Cepheïden lichten op en dimmen aan een voorspelbaar ritme. Ze worden daarom gebruikt om de afstand te meten tussen verschillende sterrenstelsels. 

Het team van Riess heeft de waarnemingen van Hubble samengelegd met die uit het Araucaria Project - een samenwerking tussen astronomen uit Chili, de VS en Europa - om zo het onderzoek te verfijnen. Daaruit zijn nieuwe berekeningen gekomen over de afstanden in onze ruimte en over de Hubbleconstante (dat is de mate waarin ons universum groeit, nvdr.). 

Tegenstrijdigheid

Uit berekeningen op basis van Hubblemetingen is eerder al gebleken dat het universum ongeveer 9% sneller groeit dan gedacht. Maar wat de wetenschappers al jaren in de haren doet krabben is dat de berekening niet overeenkomt met die over de groei van het universum kort na de big bang. Met andere woorden: onze ruimte breidt sneller uit dan wat voorspeld was op basis van waarnemingen door de Planck-satelliet jaren geleden. Een grote tegenstrijdigheid, aldus de wetenschappers.

De voorbije jaren heeft het team van Adam Riess van de Amerikaanse Johns Hopkins-universiteit de berekeningen verfijnd om te achterhalen of die tegenstrijdigheid komt door een verschil in meettechnieken of door een foute berekening. Wetenschappers beschrijven nu in het gerenommeerde blad The Astrophysical Journal dat ze er zo goed als zeker van zijn dat het niet gaat om een fout of toeval. “Het verschil wordt steeds groter en we zijn nu op een punt gekomen dat we het niet meer kunnen opzijschuiven als toeval”, zegt Riess, die in 2011 de Nobelprijs in de fysica won omdat hij aantoonde dat de uitbreiding van het heelal versnelt. 

Nieuwe theorie

“Dit is niet gewoon twee experimenten die het oneens zijn”, zegt Riess “We meten iets fundamenteel anders. De ene meting gaat over hoe snel de ruimte vandaag de dag groeit. De andere is een voorspelling gebaseerd op de fysica van het vroege universum en op metingen over hoe snel het zou moeten uitdijen. Als deze waarden niet overeenkomen, dan is de kans groot dat we iets missen in het kosmologische model dat die twee periodes (kort na de oerknal en nu) verbindt.”

Onderzoekers hebben verschillende ideeën over de snelle uitbreiding van de ruimte. Maar geen enkele daarvan kan op dit moment bewezen worden. Ze houden er ook rekening mee dat het gewoon (nog) niet kan verklaard worden met de huidige theorieën in de fysica. De wetenschappers zouden dus eigenlijk een nieuwe theorie moeten ‘bedenken’ om het te begrijpen. 

Voorlopig werkt Riess met zijn team verder met Hubble om de berekeningen te verfijnen en de onzekerheid in de Hubbleconstante te verkleinen. Zo hopen ze ooit de reden van de tegenstrijdigheid te kunnen achterhalen.

OSCaR (Obsolete Spacecraft Capture and Removal), genoemd naar het moppermonster in Sesamstraat dat in een vuilnisbak woont, wordt momenteel ontwikkeld door enkele onderzoekers aan het Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. De kleine rechthoekige satelliet wordt uitgerust met sensoren en een lange grijparm. De sensoren detecteren ruimteafval waarna de grijparm het afval uit de ruimte moet verwijderen.

Idealiter gebeurt dat zonder weinig tot geen begeleiding vanaf de aarde. “We zeggen OSCaR wat hij moet doen, daarna is het een kwestie van vertrouwen”, aldus projectleider Kurt Anderson. Vergelijk OSCaR gerust met een automatische stofzuiger die het huis onder handen neemt als zijn eigenaars werken zijn.

Alleen moet de nanosatelliet, met een lengte van dertig centimeter, en breedte en diepte van 10 centimeter, heel wat meer werk verrichten dan een simpele stofzuiger. “Dat is de uitdaging: OSCaR moet eigenlijk evenveel kunnen als een grote satelliet.”

Ruimteafval

Veel van de brokstukken in de ruimte, gaan grotendeels terug naar de ruimtewedloop van de Koude Oorlog. Toen brachten zowel de Verenigde Staten als de Sovjet-Unie de ene satelliet na de andere in een baan rond de aarde. Maar op die satellieten stond een houdbaarheidsdatum waardoor vele exemplaren inmiddels doelloos rond de aarde zweven.

De raketten die toen (en nu) gelanceerd werden, zorgen overigens ook voor heel wat ruimteafval. Zowel een bemande als onbemande ruimtevlucht heeft verschillende trappen nodig om een specifieke baan rond de aarde te bereiken. Die rakettrappen worden onderweg afgevuurd en blijven daarna rond de aarde cirkelen.

Schade 

Naar schatting zweven er inmiddels zo’n 129.000 miljoen stukken rondom de aarde. Daarvan zijn 34.000 stukken zo’n tien centimeter groot volgens cijfers van het Europese Ruimtevaartagentschap (ESA). En ongeveer 8.500 objecten bewegen met een snelheid van 28.200 kilometer per uur in een lage baan om de aarde (LEO). In diezelfde lage baan rond de aarde bevinden zich heel wat satellieten. Het spreekt voor zich dat zelfs een minuscuul stuk ruimteafval heel wat schade kan aanrichten als het met een snelheid van bijna 30.000 kilometer per uur tegen zo’n satelliet botst. 

Zo nam de astronaut Tim Peak in 2016 een foto van een beschadigde ruit in het Internationaal Ruimtestation (ISS). De barst kwam er vermoedelijk nadat een klein stuk ruimteafval zoals een verfschilfer, de ruit raakte. 

Een tweede nadeel van het ruimteafval: het valt uiteindelijk terug neer. En wanneer de brokstukken niet volledig opbranden in de atmosfeer van de aarde, storten ze met een hoge snelheid neer. De kans dat je zo’n brokstuk op je hoofd krijgt, is behoorlijk klein - de aarde bestaat immers voor 70 procent uit water - maar als het gebeurt, is de schade aanzienlijk groot. 

Vele OSCaRs 

OSCaR is trouwens niet alleen, ze zijn met veel. En maar goed ook, want elke nanosatelliet zal slechts vier brokstukken kunnen ruimen. Vervolgens zal het ruimtevaartuig binnen vijf jaar terug naar de aarde keren.

If they exist today, what exactly do sea serpents look like? If your description includes a long neck attached to a large bulky body, that doesn’t really sound like ‘serpent’ – does it? According to a new study, the portrayals of mythical creatures referred to as sea serpents changed during the 18th century as more of the creatures we call dinosaurs were discovered and the news about them spread, and this influenced what people thought they saw bashing boats, scaring swimmers and perhaps even floating around in a certain loch named Ness. Are long-necked sea monsters merely a figment of the imagination spawned by mass dinosaur hysteria?

“The problem is an interesting fusion of history and palaeontology which shows that statistics can be used to rigorously test all sorts of strange hypotheses, if the data is handled in the right way.”

Statistics fused with paleontology when Dr. Charles Paxton, a statistical ecologist at the University of St. Andrews, joined forces with Dr. Darren Naish, a palaeontologist at the University of Southampton, to use statistical analysis to study sea monster reports and compare them to the hypothesis proposed by science fiction writer L. Sprague De Camp that discoveries of Mesozoic reptiles like plesiosaurs and mosasaurs influenced sea monster sightings to change from serpents to long-necked dinosaur-like creatures. That matches the classic image of the Loch Ness monster for one, but how many reports resemble the no-neck mosasaur?

To test the theory, Paxton and Naish scanned newspapers, books and recorded testimonies from 1801 to 2015 and compiled a database of 1,543 non-hoax sea monster sightings. A plot of the events clearly shows a spike between 1930 and 1934 coinciding with the increase in Loch Ness sightings which culminated with the infamous “surgeon’s photo” hoax showing a creature resembling a plesiosaur. Drawings and accounts of other events look similar. What about mosasaur-like monsters?

“Over the last 200 years, there is indeed evidence of a decline in serpentiform sea serpent reports and an increase in the proportion of reports with necks but there is no evidence for an increase in the proportion of mosasaur-like reports. However, witnesses only began to unequivocally compare sea serpents to prehistoric reptiles in the late nineteenth century, some fifty years after the suggestion was first made by naturalists.”

The study, “Did Nineteenth Century Marine Vertebrate Fossil Discoveries Influence Sea Serpent Reports?”, published in the journal Earth Sciences History, concludes that numbers don’t lie, but witnesses might. The discoveries of the more esthetic and unusual long-necked plesiosaurs definitely influenced sea monster reports, but the more fishlike and less monsterish mosasaurs did not.

Scary … but sea monster worthy?

Will this conclusion inspire similar statistical studies of other monster and cryptid sightings? What would such an analysis of Bigfoot sightings point to? Mothman? How about aliens and flying saucers?

On the other hand, do you really want to let facts ruin your fantasies?

Certainly, the most macabre story ever told to me on one of my many “Chupacabra treks” around Puerto Rico came from a woman who lived in Ponce, and whose story is one of the most controversial on record. Admittedly, more than a decade after I heard the tale, I still don’t know what to make of it all. Julia claimed to know a great deal about a certain “secret society” on the island that was at the heart of this controversy. There was a very good reason why Julia was so well-informed: her ex-husband was a member of the group. He was also a powerful figure on the island, specifically in the real-estate business. He had been invited into the group in 1999, which was around a year before Julia and he married.  In fact, it was as a result of his connections to the group that led to their divorce, which was less than a year after they married. When Julia’s husband finally confided in her the details of his secret life, Julia was outraged – not just because he had kept his other life from her, but also because of what, exactly, he was involved in.

Julia’s husband told her that it was due to certain, supernatural pacts between the group and the paranormal denizens of realms beyond ours that he now had so much prestige, power and money.  There was, however, a price to pay – as there always is when one does a deal with malignant, supernatural things from other dimensional planes. That price revolved around nothing less than human blood. Julia sat and listened – both horrified and terrified by what she was hearing – as her husband outlined what was going on. It was no coincidence, he said, that his life had massively altered for the better in 1999. It was all down to that invitation and his willingness to do whatever needed to be done to ensure wealth and influence.

Julia’s husband had been present at a particular ritual which was held at the spacious home of a Puerto Rican drug baron, who also put his “success” down to that same secret society. The story got even more controversial. Julia admitted that she couldn’t prove any of what she was telling me, but she claimed to have been told of three people on the island who had been paid – and paid very well – to provide the group with supplies of their very own blood, and to discuss it with no one. So the tale went, the people were taken to the location of the meeting, which was high in the hills of the El Yunque rainforest, and the blood was taken by a local doctor – who was also well paid for his actions and his silence.

The three – two women and one man – were one by one placed on an ornate, large altar, at which the blood was removed. Then, with the doctor and the three “donors” driven back to their respective homes (after being warned to never, ever discuss with anyone what had happened), the blood was used in a complex ritual to conjure up and manifest a Chupacabra. Julia claimed that her husband assured her that the ritual worked all too well: as the group of several dozen – all dressed in cloaks, no less – focused their minds on having the Chupacabra appear before them, which is exactly what is said to have happened.

It was a hellish situation: the lights in the house flickered and the room was filled with a nauseating odor of sulfur. In seconds, the air shimmered – like a heat haze on the road on a hot summer’s day – and the creature slowly came into being, staring at the group malevolently and hunched over. Even long-term members of the group were shocked to their collective core by what they were seeing. It was exactly what the group was counting on, but actually seeing the monster close up and personal was something else entirely. One and all were quietly told to remain as calm as possible, despite the fraught and fantastic nature of the events. There was one thing that none of the members of the group could avoid seeing: the Chupacabra was semi-transparent. It was far more spectral than it was physical. That is, however, until the monster placed its clawed paws into a large bowl, in which substantial amounts of blood had been poured.

Within seconds of the creature doing so, its transparency was no more and it was suddenly a completely physical entity. Julia’s husband was unable to explain the process – mainly because no one seemed to understand the full scope of what it was they were dealing with. He did, however, state that the magical nature of human blood – when ingested in large amounts – not only fed the Chupacabra but also gave it physical substance in our world, which was in marked difference to the ethereal form it had in its own realm. When the creature was apparently sated and fed, it vanished, in a bright blue flash that affected the eyes of one and all present for up to several minutes.

Julia listened further as she was told that several other such rituals had taken place in the 1990s – the first one of which, allegedly, had led to the beginning of the Chupacabra phenomenon in 1995. Julia sat back – appalled and frightened – by what she had heard, not knowing whether to believe it or not. It was, however, the undeniable fear in her husband’s eyes that finally convinced her he was telling the truth – a truth which revolved around how the Chupacabra needs to feast on our blood to maintain a foothold in our world. No wonder that Julia chose to leave her marriage behind her.

As I said, I truly don’t know what to make of the strange saga. Either it’s the literal truth or it’s complete bullshit. Of course, it scarcely needs saying that the latter is certainly the most likely scenario of the two. But, I have to admit that I still find it difficult to understand why Julia would have weaved such a complicated tale, if it was just a fabrication and nothing else. After all, it’s not like she was being paid to tell her story to a TV show. Nor was she looking to write about her experience. And she didn’t ask for money for sharing her story. It was just a tale told to me of “take it or leave it” proportions. That’s where it still remains to this day.

Earlier this week, SpaceX lost another spacecraft when a mysterious “anomaly” caused a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule to explode on the launchpad. While many analysts have used the incident to question if Elon Musk’s boastful predictions about SpaceX’s manned spaceflight capabilities might be too good to be true, NASA calmly forged ahead by stating simply “this is why we test.” Can Musk and SpaceX get astronauts safely into space?

You’ve got to break a few rocket eggs to make a SpaceX omelette.

The April 20 static engine test took place at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. In the test, a Crew Dragon crew capsule suffered a massive malfunction, causing it to instantly explode just a few seconds into the test. The Dragon Crew capsule was thought to be ready for a July manned flight to the International Space Station, but that timeline is now likely to be modified. A grainy video alleged to show the incident has been circulating the web, but its veracity cannot be confirmed as SpaceX has refused to comment on it or even acknowledge that an explosion even happened.

Following the incident, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said that neither SpaceX nor NASA will be deterred from their mutual goal of getting the next generation of manned rockets off the ground:

NASA and SpaceX teams are assessing the anomaly that occurred today during a part of the Dragon Super Draco Static Fire Test at SpaceX Landing Zone 1 in Florida. This is why we test. We will learn, make the necessary adjustments and safely move forward with our Commercial Crew Program.

Spaceflight is a dangerous endeavor. To date, more than 20 astronauts have lost their as a result of spacecraft testing or spaceflight missions. NASA lost two seven-member space crews in the 1986 mid-launch explosion of the Space Shuttle Challenger and the atmospheric disintegration of Space Shuttle Columbia.

Anyone who steps aboard a spaceship strapped to an enormous rocket does so with the knowledge that the largest part of them that investigators will find among the burnt, mangled wreckage will likely be a toe, and the soon-to-be crews of the SpaceX Dragon Crew are no different. Can Musk and SpaceX survive their first fatal accident? Will they even make it that far if these test “anomalies” continue?

This UFO was captured by accident when some people went hiking and a few day later looked at the photos noticing a large metallic UFO in the sky. How can a person not notice such a thing? Actually its easy to over look such things unless you are deliberately trying to find one. People get caught up in the moment and only notice each other and what they are doing, never suspecting a UFO is flying over them in the background. Those people who never saw a UFO...its because they don't look at the sky more than a few minutes the whole week. People like me...we watch, we wait patiently, and we know sooner or later...it will happen.

Begin vorig jaar verschenen er talloze mainstream artikelen over een ufo die door Amerikaanse marinevliegtuigen was waargenomen. 

Nu komt daar een vervolg op en wordt op Amerikaanse televisie openlijk gesproken over de mogelijke buitenaardse oorsprong van onbekende vliegende objecten.

De beelden zijn honderd procent echt en ze zijn afkomstig van de Amerikaanse overheid. 

Naar aanleiding van deze onthullingen is er veel over gesproken, ook door Amerikaanse politici in het Congres, en is er overleg geweest met de marine. 

Het gevolg van dat alles is dat de Amerikaanse marine nu heeft aangekondigd dat ze nieuwe procedures zullen hanteren, waarbij piloten en ander personeel vreemde dingen kunnen rapporteren. 

Dit gebeurde tot nu toe slechts incidenteel want piloten hielden veelal hun mond dicht omdat het melden van dit soort incidenten vaak niet echt bevorderlijk was voor hun carrière. Net zo goed als dit bij civiele piloten het geval is.

De Amerikaanse Navy is niet zeker van wat er gaande is. De Navy bevestigde dat het bezig is met het opstellen van nieuwe richtlijnen voor het personeel voor het melden van ontmoetingen met ongeïdentificeerde luchtvaartuigen. Het doel is het de-stigmatiseren van de waarnemingen van ver ontwikkelde toestellen met zeer hoge snelheden die behoorlijk vaak zijn gezien bij het benaderen van Marineschepen en –bases en waarvoor geen verklaring bestaat.

Wat we zien is dat er een gestage opbouw plaatsvindt van zaken die ongetwijfeld tot Disclosure zullen leiden. 

De Amerikaanse overheid die beelden vrijgeeft van onbekende vliegende objecten, de marine die nieuwe procedures opstelt voor het rapporteren van waarnemingen en programma’s op de mainstream televisie waar openlijk wordt gesproken over een mogelijke buitenaardse oorsprong van deze objecten. 

De enige vraag die dan nog resteert is: met welk doel komt deze Disclosure dan tot stand en betreft het dan ook werkelijk disclosure? 

Is het een aardse “Disclosure”, waar de mensheid wordt misleid met een (niet bestaande) bedreiging vanuit de ruimte en men in feite bezig is met het witwassen van de geheime ruimtevloot zoals wij eerder uitgebreid beschreven? 

Of wordt het toch een echte Disclosure, waarvoor men nu bezig is om de bevolking stap voor stap voor te bereiden op het feit dat er wel degelijk buitenaards leven bestaat en dat ze heel regelmatig bij ons op bezoek komen?

Denise Stoner is a UFO researcher and author (see, for example, her 2013 book with Kathleen Marden, The Alien Abduction Files). Over the years, Denise has very generously allowed me to share some of her experiences of the UFO type. One, for me, really stands out when it comes to matters of a high-strangeness nature. With that said, I’ll turn things over to Denise and an experience she had just a few years ago: “I would be glad to describe the situation to you as it has remained clear as crystal in my mind.  As for my Mom, she knows something happened but it has gotten foggy and she doesn’t know why, yet she recalls something happened that made her feel very uncomfortable. My Mom and I had gone to the mall on Christmas Eve for a couple of last minute stocking stuffer type gifts.  We actually knew what we wanted so parked outside J.C. Penney’s on the side where those goods were. We went in and immediately noticed that in late afternoon, there were only a few shoppers. We picked out our gifts and got in line at the cashier in back of two other people. We could easily see the exit door and the sun in the parking lot, we were facing that way.

“The glass doors opened and two very tall, thin women entered. They had long almost waist length blond hair parted in the middle on top and it was thin in texture. Their skin was also pale and I did not notice any make up but each had huge piercing blue eyes. Their gait was odd like they were too tall (approximately 6’1) to walk smoothly. I was already an investigator for MUFON so was aware of oddities in people and had done background searches for the Federal Govt. so was trained to be observant.

“They were pushing one of those umbrella style strollers with no fancy attachments – just the hammock type bed, wheels, and handles. I noticed they had no purses or accessories such as a diaper bag to carry diapers or bottles, etc. The women moved slowly it seemed and drew my attention to the stroller. There was a baby blanket in the bottom portion and on top the head of a baby no bigger than a small grapefruit, pasty colored skin, no noticeable nose, a line for a mouth and huge dark eyes taking up most of the rest of this head.

“I wondered if the baby was deformed but knew this was not the case somehow. The baby appeared alert and was staring up at me. My Mom bumped me with her arm to get my attention and said “what is wrong with that baby.” I felt I needed to tell the person in front of me because we had been talking (with her) about being slow in finishing up our shopping. When I tapped her on the shoulder I then was shocked to see not only her but the lady in front of her and the cashier were kind of frozen in place. Everything seemed to be moving in extremely slow motion around us.

“The blond women seemed to pass the thought to me that I needed to take another good look at the baby and study it. Then as if a film was put back in to normal speed they walked past me and the cash register began to work, people – the only three in the area were moving again as if nothing happened. I told my Mom to hold our places and I ran after the women.  Just next to us was the infants’ clothing department. The women had turned in to that isle. I followed and when I turned in to the isle – they disappeared. Just gone like they had never been there. I ran back the short distance to my Mom and told her they were gone. We checked out and my Mom kept saying “what was going on with that baby?” I told her no one goes shopping with a baby that tiny without taking needed supplies, bottles, diapers, clothes, etc.

“I remember asking her if she thought we had seen something alien such as a hybrid and she just shook her head as if there was no answer. We stepped out the door and that’s when the experience with the men took place.When we exited the mall my Mom had already stepped off the curb to locate my car, I was stopped by three men who were leaning on the brick wall by the door. Wearing black suits, black hats, white shirts, sun glasses. Short in stature. The only difference from your reports was the fact that one had a briefcase – black also. I don’t recall their mouths moving but it could be I was just nervous.

“One of them said, ‘You will not discuss what happened inside that store, do not talk about it to anyone, do you understand?’ I did not answer, stepped off the curb as I felt I was in danger and called after my Mom. Just after I stepped off the curb I turned back to discover these men were gone and there was nowhere for them to go other than in to the parking lot or further down the sidewalk as there was a brick wall where they had been and continued down the length of the building to the only door we had come out. We had been shown something in the store we both feel wasn’t normal and were talking about it as we left to see if we were imagining things when I met these men.  Does this sound typical of these types? I am too old to be abducted and used for breeding and have had a hysterectomy so that could not have been the purpose – to show me a child of mine and I felt nothing like that was going on.”

Something Fundamentally Different: The Universe Is Expanding Faster Than Ever Thought

The Universe is expanding faster than anyone ever figured according to new measurements from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. The math confirms that the Universe is expanding about 9% faster than expected based on its trajectory seen shortly after the big bang, astronomers say.

The new measurements, published April 25 in Astrophysical Journal, reduce the chances that the disparity is an accident from 1 in 3,000 to only 1 in 100,000 and suggest that new physics may be needed to better understand the cosmos.

This is a ground-based telescope’s view of the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way. The inset image, taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, reveals one of many star clusters scattered throughout the dwarf galaxy.

“This mismatch has been growing and has now reached a point that is really impossible to dismiss as a fluke. This is not what we expected,” says Adam Riess, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy at The Johns Hopkins University, Nobel Laureate and the project’s leader.

In this study, Riess and his SH0ES (Supernovae, H0, for the Equation of State) Team analyzed light from 70 stars in our neighboring galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud, with a new method that allowed for capturing quick images of these stars. The stars, called Cepheid variables, brighten and dim at predictable rates that are used to measure nearby intergalactic distances.

The usual method for measuring the stars is incredibly time-consuming; the Hubble can only observe one star for every 90-minute orbit around Earth. Using their new method called DASH (Drift And Shift), the researchers using Hubble as a “point-and-shoot” camera to look at groups of Cepheids, thereby allowing the team to observe a dozen Cepheids in the same amount of time it would normally take to observe just one.

With this new data, Riess and the team were able to strengthen the foundation of the cosmic distance ladder, which is used to determine distances within the Universe, and calculate the Hubble constant, a value of how fast the cosmos expands over time.

All the steps involve building a strong “cosmic distance ladder,” by starting with measuring accurate distances to nearby galaxies and then moving to galaxies farther and farther away. This “ladder” is a series of measurements of different kinds of astronomical objects with an intrinsic brightness that researchers can use to calculate distances.

The team combined their Hubble measurements with another set of observations, made by the Araucaria Project, a collaboration between astronomers from institutions in Chile, the U.S., and Europe. This group made distance measurements to the Large Magellanic Cloud by observing the dimming of light as one star passes in front of its partner in eclipsing binary-star systems.

The combined measurements helped the SH0ES team refine the Cepheids’ true brightness. With this more accurate result, the team could then “tighten the bolts” of the rest of the distance ladder that uses exploding stars called supernovae to extend deeper into space.

As the team’s measurements have become more precise, their calculation of the Hubble constant has remained at odds with the expected value derived from observations of the early universe’s expansion by the European Space Agency’s Planck satellite based on conditions Planck observed 380,000 years after the Big Bang.

“This is not just two experiments disagreeing,” Riess explained. “We are measuring something fundamentally different. One is a measurement of how fast the universe is expanding today, as we see it. The other is a prediction based on the physics of the early universe and on measurements of how fast it ought to be expanding. If these values don’t agree, there becomes a very strong likelihood that we’re missing something in the cosmological model that connects the two eras.”

While Riess doesn’t have an answer as to exactly why the discrepancy exists, he and the SH0ES team will continue to fine-tune the Hubble constant, with the goal of reducing the uncertainty to 1%. These most recent measurements brought the uncertainty in the rate of expansion down from 10% in 2001 to 5% in 2009 and now to 1.9% in the present study.

Other authors on this paper include Stefano Casertano of the Space Telescope Science Institute; Wenlong Yuan of The Johns Hopkins University; Lucas M. Macri of Texas A&M University, and; Dan Scolnic of Duke University. Adam Riess is also a senior member of the science staff at the Space Telescope Science Institute and an advisory board member for Space@Hopkins.

Scientists Claim Quantum Theory Proves Consciousness Moves To Another Universe At Death

A book titled “Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding the Nature of the Universe“ has stirred up the Internet, because it contained a notion that life does not end when the body dies, and it can last forever. The author of this publication, scientist Dr. Robert Lanza who was voted the 3rd most important scientist alive by the NY Times, has no doubts that this is possible.

Beyond time and space

Lanza is an expert in regenerative medicine and scientific director of Advanced Cell Technology Company. Before he has been known for his extensive research which dealt with stem cells, he was also famous for several successful experiments on cloning endangered animal species.

But not so long ago, the scientist became involved with physics, quantum mechanics and astrophysics. This explosive mixture has given birth to the new theory of biocentrism, which the professor has been preaching ever since.  Biocentrism teaches that life and consciousness are fundamental to the universe.  It is consciousness that creates the material universe, not the other way around.

Lanza points to the structure of the universe itself, and that the laws, forces, and constants of the universe appear to be fine-tuned for life, implying intelligence existed prior to matter.  He also claims that space and time are not objects or things, but rather tools of our animal understanding.  Lanza says that we carry space and time around with us “like turtles with shells.” meaning that when the shell comes off (space and time), we still exist.

The theory implies that death of consciousness simply does not exist.   It only exists as a thought because people identify themselves with their body. They believe that the body is going to perish, sooner or later, thinking their consciousness will disappear too.  If the body generates consciousness, then consciousness dies when the body dies.  But if the body receives consciousness in the same way that a cable box receives satellite signals, then of course consciousness does not end at the death of the physical vehicle. In fact, consciousness exists outside of constraints of time and space. It is able to be anywhere: in the human body and outside of it. In other words, it is non-local in the same sense that quantum objects are non-local.

Lanza also believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously.  In one universe, the body can be dead. And in another it continues to exist, absorbing consciousness which migrated into this universe.  This means that a dead person while traveling through the same tunnel ends up not in hell or in heaven, but in a similar world he or she once inhabited, but this time alive. And so on, infinitely.  It’s almost like a cosmic Russian doll afterlife effect.

Multiple worlds

This hope-instilling, but extremely controversial theory by Lanza has many unwitting supporters, not just mere mortals who want to live forever, but also some well-known scientists. These are the physicists and astrophysicists who tend to agree with existence of parallel worlds and who suggest the possibility of multiple universes. Multiverse (multi-universe) is a so-called scientific concept, which they defend. They believe that no physical laws exist which would prohibit the existence of parallel worlds.

The first one was a science fiction writer H.G. Wells who proclaimed in 1895 in his story “The Door in the Wall”.  And after 62 years, this idea was developed by Dr. Hugh Everett in his graduate thesis at the Princeton University. It basically posits that at any given moment the universe divides into countless similar instances. And the next moment, these “newborn” universes split in a similar fashion. In some of these worlds you may be present: reading this article in one universe, or watching TV in another.

The triggering factor for these multiplyingworlds is our actions, explained Everett. If we make some choices, instantly one universe splits into two with different versions of outcomes.

In the 1980s, Andrei Linde, scientist from the Lebedev’s Institute of physics, developed the theory of multiple universes. He is now a professor at Stanford University.  Linde explained: Space consists of many inflating spheres, which give rise to similar spheres, and those, in turn, produce spheres in even greater numbers, and so on to infinity. In the universe, they are spaced apart. They are not aware of each other’s existence. But they represent parts of the same physical universe.

The fact that our universe is not alone is supported by data received from the Planck space telescope. Using the data, scientists have created the most accurate map of the microwave background, the so-called cosmic relic background radiation, which has remained since the inception of our universe. They also found that the universe has a lot of dark recesses represented by some holes and extensive gaps.

Giant Cube Shooting From The Sun With Trail Behind It, In NASA SOHO Image, April 2019, UFO Sighting News.

I found a cube that had exited our sun during a solar explosion in NASA SOHO images today. The cube is unique in that its not a perfect cube, but has one corner cut off of it. Also the cube ship has a energy trail behind it, maybe from the engines about to go to light speed or maybe from bursts of energy shot out from the engines. It can't be a coincidence that there was a solar explosion the very minute that this ship was seen coming from the sun. 

One youtube subscriber asked me today why I only show gaps of time and not the full live video of it exiting? I said thats a good question, I can only show what NASA gives to the public. NASA never releases full video of solar activity, but prefers to only release glimpses...still shots...taken every few minutes. That sad for us, because we will never be able to see a UFO moving around or passing bye our sun. We will only get these still images put into a gif form.

Auroras act like speed bumps for satellites, dragging them down towards Earth

Auroras are some of the most dazzling light shows in the world but for the aerospace industry, they can be a real nuisance that could cost billions in damages. According to recent research, northern and southern lights cause satellites to slow down, which brings them closer to Earth. And if the satellites don’t have any more fuel left to boost them back to their intended orbits, they will eventually fall into Earth’s atmosphere.

For decades, scientists have been aware that when the sun’s activity is high, orbiting satellites tend to slow down. Auroras are caused by charged particles like electrons that interact with molecules from a planet’s atmosphere or magnetosphere. Scientists suspected that the charged particles also loft pockets of air high enough for satellites to interact with them. The drag caused by the air molecules would then slow the satellites, pulling them closer to Earth. Now, a recent mission has confirmed that this theory is probably true.

In 2015, scientists launched the Rocket Experiment for Neutral Upwelling 2 (RENU2) straight into the northern lights in order to understand how solar activity alters the atmosphere. The mission focused on Poleward Moving Auroral Forms (PMAFs), a type of fainter auroras which appear as dancing clouds on dark nights in high latitudes. The reason why PMAFs are o particular interest in this kind of research is that they form higher in the atmosphere and are less energetic than the more common and spectacular auroras. PMAFs dance at about 150 to 250 miles above the surface while most auroras typically form at an altitude of only 60 miles.

Researchers at the University of New Hampshire who led the project found that although PMAFs are weaker than most forms of auroras, their energy was still high enough to heat air pockets, causing them to drift upwards. As an analogy, the researchers likened the phenomenon to bubbles rising in a lava lamp. The study also found that the PMAF’s activity isn’t uniform but rather acts in narrow wisps that collectively affect areas larger than ten miles across. PMAFs also ebb and flow, changing their structure within minutes.

In the future, this kind of information will help engineers design safer satellites that can remain operational in orbit for longer.

Japanese probe blasts the first artificial crater on an asteroid

The Japanese space agency (JAXA) denoted an explosive device on the surface of the Ryugu asteroid earlier this month. Now, Japanese scientists have confirmed that the blast created a crater with a diameter of 10 meters — the first artificial crater on an asteroid.

“Creating an artificial crater with an impactor and observing it in detail afterwards is a world-first attempt,” Yuichi Tsuda, Hayabusa2 project manager, said in a statement. “This is a big success.”

The crater was created by the Hayabusa 2 spacecraft which fired an explosives-carrying projectile from 500 meters above the asteroid’s surface. The goal was to discharge material from under the asteroid’s surface in order to probe its chemical composition. The idea is that this fresh material could shed light on the formation of the early solar system. The asteroid is believed to be made up of organic compounds and water from 4.6 billion year ago.

Earlier this year, the probe fired a bullet into the surface of Ryugu in order to blast dust off the surface. But as the asteroid is constantly bombarded by solar rays which can alter its properties, samples need to be taken from beneath the surface — hence the need for a crater-creating explosion. This time around, the Japanese mission made quite the mess, generating a ten-meter-wide crater. Initially, scientists predicted that the crater would be 3 meters in diameter if the surface is rocky and 10 meters in diameter if it is sandy.

“We can see such a big hole a lot more clearly than expected,” said Masahiko Arakawa, a Kobe University professor involved in the project. “The surface is filled with boulders but yet we created a crater this big. This could mean there’s a scientific mechanism we don’t know or something special about Ryugu’s materials.”

The $270-million-mission is scheduled to return to Earth with samples taken from the asteroid in 2020. The samples will help scientists answer fundamental questions about the formation of the solar system. They might also inform the space mining industry with regard to the economic potential for similar asteroids

NASA and partners will be holding an asteroid impact exercise at conference next week

At next week’s 2019 Planetary Defense Conference, NASA, ESA, and the International Asteroid Warning Network will stage a “tabletop exercise” of an asteroid flying towards Earth.

Media outlets are always abuzz when an asteroid ‘near-misses’ our planet, and it’s easy to see why — there’s just something very exciting about a narrowly evading extinction. However, space agencies and governments around the world take the risk of impact with a near-Earth object (NEO) quite seriously. Given the potential for widespread panic such a scenario poses, any preparations are generally carried out discreetly, out of the public’s view.

The NEO threat

In the spirit of better communication, however, NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office (PDCO), the European Space Agency’s Space Situational Awareness-NEO Segment and the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) want to make the hazards posed by NEOs clearer for us laymen. Towards that end, they will organize — along with other U.S. agencies and space science institutions around the world — a “tabletop exercise” that will play out a fictional-but-realistic scenario for an asteroid on an impact trajectory with Earth at the conference, NASA announced.

NEOs are bodies such as asteroids or comets that come within 30 million miles (50 million kilometers) of Earth’s orbit. NASA and its international partners have been monitoring NEOs for over two decades now, keeping an eye out for any that might be gunning for Earth. However, preparations for such an impact have very rarely involved the public at large. The proposed exercise aims to address this shortcoming.

A tabletop exercise is basically a simulated emergency, used to accustom participants to the possible outcomes of such a disaster and help them see what needs to be done to mount a successful response. NASA plans to have attendees at the conference play out a NEO impact scenario developed by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Center for NEO Studies (CNEOS).

This type of exercise was specifically identified as part of the National Near-Earth Object Preparedness Strategy and Action Plan developed over a two-year period and published by the White House in June 2018. They’re not tightly scripted, aiming to let people ‘run wild’ and observe their response in conditions that mirror real life. This can then help us predict how NEO observers, space agency officials, emergency managers, decision-makers, and citizens might respond to an actual impact prediction.

Next week’s exercise events will occur over the five days of the conference. The scenario begins with the premise that on March 26th, a potentially-hazardous NEO dubbed 2019 PDC is discovered. After a ‘few months’ of tracking, observers predict that it has a 1% chance of impacting the earth in 2027. A 1% impact chance has been decided upon by the international space community as the threshold for action.

Exercise leaders will be briefing participants on the status of the scenario at the end of each day and soliciting response ideas and feedback, based on the latest fictional data. They will be asked to discuss potential preparations for reconnaissance and deflection missions, as well as plans to mitigate the effects of a potential impact.

“These exercises have really helped us in the planetary defense community to understand what our colleagues on the disaster management side need to know,” said Lindley Johnson, NASA’s Planetary Defense Officer. “This exercise will help us develop more effective communications with each other and with our governments.”

NASA has participated in six NEO impact exercises so far: three at Planetary Defense Conferences (2013, 2015, 2017) and three jointly with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The three NASA-FEMA exercises included representatives of several other federal agencies, including the Departments of Defense and State. Each exercise builds on lessons learned in the previous exercise. These exercises have shown that emergency management officials aren’t focused on the scientific details regarding the asteroid, but on more practical concerns.

“What emergency managers want to know is when, where and how an asteroid would impact, and the type and extent of damage that could occur,” said Leviticus Lewis of the Response Operations Division for FEMA.

However, NASA is a bit concerned with this approach. It’s those ‘scientific details’ that determine the outcome of an impact. So, while they’re working on developing new methods to determine asteroid characteristics, they also want to engage the public in these tabletop exercises to raise awareness of the hazards posed by NEOs.

“NASA and FEMA will continue to conduct periodic exercises with a continually widening community of U.S. government agencies and international partners,” said Johnson. “They are a great way for us to learn how to work together and meet each other’s needs and the objectives laid out in the White House National NEO Preparedness Action Plan.”

Most stories about UFOs and cattle generally end badly for the cows – death, missing body parts, etc. A cattle rancher in Bolivia says three of his animals have been killed and the rest are alive but terrified – and so is he – after over 20 UFOs paid visits to his ranch and performed aerial operations he feared would be dangerous to his animals. Is he dealing with drone-using cattle rustlers, deadly pranksters, burger-loving space aliens … or something else?

“Around one in the morning, when we were going to sleep, a UFO appeared behind the truck. My cowboy said, Mr. Freddy is the “drone”, as he lit the way like the beacon of a car, I thought it was the people who controlled the alleged drones, but when we saw it was something else, I took the shotgun and gave it to my clerk and told him to shoot it. After the firing the UFO turned away, when I turned around the truck, the object reappeared illuminating all of us.”

Rancher Freddy Rodriguez said in a video interview (Google translated) with a reporter from Notivision that his ranch near Ascensión de Guarayos in the Department of Santa Cruz has been bothered by these UFOs for at least six months. (Watch the video here.) He claims the orbs have dropped down low over his cattle – close enough to illuminate them in the darkness. The video shows the bright UFOs appearing singly and in groups, but it’s not clear if they were observed by the reporter. However, Freddie’s ranch hands claim they’ve seen them as well. They can be seen in the video repairing fences which Rodriguez claims were damaged when the terrified animals ran from the UFOs. While they weren’t mutilated, three of his cattle died from injuries due to the stampeding.

“It is invasion of aliens we do not have to communicate with them because it is dangerous, they come to take the resources not renewable, very careful, I do not say it I said the scientist Steve Hawken a week before he died, 2019 they will come to earth and not we have to communicate with them because they can come to enslave us as the Spaniards did in Latin America.”

Rodriguez agrees with the commenters on the sites uploading the videos that these lights are something other than drones. He says he’s observed them flying over his ranch and cattle from dusk until dawn, descending to the ground, hovering directly over the cattle, ascending and maneuvering around all night long – all the while with their bright lights on. No commercial drones have that kind of long-lasting batteries. There there’s the issue of the UFOs that moved away when his cowboys aimed their guns. If these were drones, they would have to be equipped with night vision and be under the control of multiple human operators. Who has that kind of time and patience … especially considering this has been going on for six months?

Local officials say they’ve never seen objects like these hovering, illuminating and then flying away in various directions.

While it’s easy to say these are drones, their behavior suggests otherwise. If commercial drones are becoming this sophisticated and powerful, Freddie Rodriguez, cattle ranchers around the world and the rest of us too are in for some serious problems. And we all know that greedy humans are far more dangerous than space aliens … so far.

If they’re not drones … what is terrifying and terrorizing Freddie Rodriguez and his cows?

A series of documents related to an FBI raid involving Bob Lazar, an alleged former employee at the famous Area 51, appear to confirm events which transpired during the filming of a recent documentary about the controversial scientist.

Since the 1990s, Lazar has claimed to have once been employed at a high-security facility at Groom Lake, Nevada, where he observed UFO technologies being developed by the United States. However, past attempts at confirming Lazar’s claims offer little insight about his past employment and education, apart from casting many of his claims in a critical light.

A recent documentary, Bob Lazar: Area 51 and Flying Saucers, directed by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, tells Lazar’s story of alleged government work with flying saucers. While the documentary was being made, Lazar alleged that an FBI raid occurred on his business, United Nuclear Scientific, which some have previously argued could not be proven.

However, new documents reveal that the raid did indeed occur, as Lazar claimed, in addition to shedding light on the reason for the FBI’s interest in Lazar and his business.

Bob Lazar gained notoriety for claims that he worked for the United States Government on projects aimed at back engineering flying saucers.

Timothy McMillan, a Savannah-based civil rights investigator and former law enforcement officer, obtained the documents through a recent Freedom of Information Act Request, which he later posted at his blog.

Speaking with McMillan recently, he explained that he was interested in seeing if records were available which lent support to claims made by Lazar in Corbell’s documentary.

“In the film, Jeremy depicted an FBI raid that occurred at Lazar’s business, United Nuclear Scientific. In the film it was depicted as a fairly large scale operation, a coordinated effort.

“And it seemed odd,” McMillan adds, “given the timing that for the first time in thirty years, Bob Lazar had sort of reemerged into the public limelight, or was about to with Jeremy’s film.”

“I know Jeremy [Corbell], who I’ve spoken to several times, received a lot of flack from people who felt like that raid was made up… and Jeremy admittedly wasn’t there when that happened, he heard about it from Bob.”

“I realized that very likely there was going to be some documentation from the local police department there in Laingsburg, Michigan. Coming from a police background… I was involved in a lot of different incidents with the federal government, just out of necessity for logistics, or oftentimes familiarity for reliability reasons, once the local police department [became] involved.”

McMillan decided to look for an Agency Assist Report about the raid, which may have been on file with the Laingsburg Police Department. “It’s a report that says an outside authority came in and asked for your assistance.”

“So I fired off a Freedom of Information Act Request to the Lansburg Police Department,” McMillan says. Amazingly, he says they responded to his request within just three business hours.

“At the federal level you can wait months and years,” McMillan said. “There’s a lot more requests, it’s a larger entity. On the local level, sometimes I wait minutes.” 

“The document does confirm the portrayal of an FBI raid at Bob Lazar’s business, United Nuclear Scientific, being a large-scale coordinated effort with two-dozen or more law enforcement agents on site,” McMillan says.

The documents also indicate that the actual reason for the raid, according to McMillan, had to do with the search for an illegal chemical substance, pertaining to an unrelated investigation that involved a homicide where the victim was believed to have been poisoned. Federal authorities also had obtained a warrant to search Lazar’s business, although the documents state that Lazar willfully allowed them to enter for their search.

During an appearance on Larry King’s program (seen in the video below), Bob Lazar, accompanied by director Jeremy Corbell, speculated about the reasons for the FBI raid earlier this year:

McMillan, who posted the documents about the raid on his website, redacted the names of those associated with the unrelated homicide investigation.

“Last thing I want to do is see people be harassed,” McMillan said, also noting that nothing in the documents seemed to indicate there was suspicion of Lazar’s involvement with any crime.  “There’s no evidence that Bob Lazar is, was or at any point was involved in any criminal activity.”

So while the documents show that the FBI raid did, in fact, occur, we now can confirm that it appears to have had nothing to do Lazar’s ongoing claims about having once worked at the secretive Area 51. While this new information stops short of providing any vindication for Bob Lazar’s more controversial past statements, it will no doubt add to the mystique that Lazar has already maintained now for decades.

The Navy isn’t endorsing the idea that its sailors have encountered alien spacecraft — but it also does not want to dismiss strange aerial sightings by credible military personnel.

Many recent developments concerning the U.S. Navy suggest that there may be more than meets the eye with much of the Navy’s aerospace and weapons research. In February 2019, Navy hired third-party contractors to destroy all evidence of its top secret laser weapon research, possibly suggesting that they’ve reached a usable design. Just this week, a U.S. Navy patent surfaced online which appears to show an advanced triangular aircraft capable of altering “the fabric of our reality”in order to achieve extreme speeds and maneuverability.

Could the patent lend legitimacy to the many sightings of similar aircraft over the years?

Now, the U.S. Navy is drafting a new set of protocols for pilots and other personnel who witness “unidentified aircraft.” Does this have anything to do with the many recent revelations concerning the American Armed Forces and what they may know about anomalous aerial phenomena?

It sure appears so. The new Navy guidelines for documenting UFOs were reported first by POLITICO, who received the following response from Navy spokespersons when asked about the veracity of the new guidelines:

There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated airspace in recent years. For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [U.S. Air Force] takes these reports very seriously and investigates each and every report. As part of this effort, the Navy is updating and formalizing the process by which reports of any such suspected incursions can be made to the cognizant authorities. A new message to the fleet that will detail the steps for reporting is in draft.

Why would the Navy need to formalize new guidelines for reporting unidentified aircraft unless such occurrences were fairly frequent? Could these types of sightings be more common than has been reported in the past?

An incredibly fast and agile “Tic Tac” shaped UFO reportedly stalked the USS Nimitz for two weeks in 2004, easily outrunning the F-18s sent to intercept it.

It seems that way, although it also seems that since many of these sightings don’t fall within the traditional categories or protocols used to report aircraft, a high number are thrown out or buried out of confusion or the fear of reporting incorrect information. Chris Mellon, a former Pentagon intelligence official and former member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, confirms that many sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena are swept under the rug by service members who don’t know how to go about reporting such anomalies:

Right now, we have situation in which UFOs and UAPs are treated as anomalies to be ignored rather than anomalies to be explored. We have systems that exclude that information and dump it. In a lot of cases [military personnel] don’t know what to do with that information — like satellite data or a radar that sees something going Mach 3. They will dump [the data] because that is not a traditional aircraft or missile.

These new standardized guidelines could be a boon for UFO and UAP researchers – that is, if the subsequent reports are ever allowed to see the light of day. Due to the sensitive nature of these types of incidents, it’s likely that many or even all of them will remain classified for years to prevent adversaries from gaining intelligence about the Navy’s detection and tracking capabilities.

I’ve wondered for a while now if the recent high-profile “disclosures” of military encounters with UFOs aren’t merely a smokescreen designed to mask the truth about anomalous aerial phenomena: that U.S. air power isn’t as superior as it once was. Could there be whole new types of aircraft in the skies we don’t know about? Or could these so-called disclosures be a way for the U.S. military to flaunt new capabilities publicly without being too overt about it?

Given that even former U.S. Senator Harry Reid argues that America, China, and Russia are now caught in a “UFO Race,” it’s likely that these new guidelines are geared towards widespread intelligence collection on the state of global aerospace capabilities. If some of the recent alleged disclosures are true, then it appears someone is operating aircraft that can outrun anything the U.S. Air Force possesses. The real question is: who is behind the controls?

You’ve got to wonder what aliens think of our primitive space programs. I bet it’s somewhere close to what humans think of dogs wearing sunglasses: “how cute, he thinks he’s people.” Well, maybe that’s not giving us enough credit. It’s probably more like if we discovered a bunch of yellow labs running a little dog factory that made sunglasses. We would need to investigate. Perhaps that’s what’s shown in this footage, recently uncovered from a live stream of the Chinese spacecrafts Tiangong-1 and Shenzhou-8 docking in 2011. Bemused interest and fear that something is getting out of hand.

Although the video comes from a 2011 mission, it was uploaded to YouTube on April 13, 2019 by a user named willease and was picked up and circulated by popular UFO channel The Hidden Underbelly. You can watch the footage here. The video is part of a live feed from a mission that had the Shenzhou-8 docking with the Tiangong-1. The clip is from the end of the stream and shows the Shenzhou-8 detaching from Tiangong-1. As the craft floats away, a bright white light can be seen flying past the Shenzhou-8 towards the camera. It then appears to turn around, off camera, and fly back towards the ship. The camera then cuts away immediately to a different angle.

We’re up there floating around in ugly metal boxes, while the aliens are rolling around the universe in a non-euclidean ball of condensed probability.

There’s a lot of videos of mysterious things on live feeds from space where the camera cuts away immediately after. You would think by now that the powers-that-be would just let the camera keep rolling, as it’s the quick cut that makes it suspicious in the first place. Of course, you can’t let your citizens know that there are aliens up there making fun of your spaceships.

The mysterious white light in the video is definitely curious. It seems to start flying  towards the spaceship from very far away, and very fast. It also seems to flicker. It’s hard to say if that’s because it is in fact flickering or if it’s flying faster than the camera can pick up.  It doesn’t seem like anything on the camera itself, as it definitely looks like it flies under left panel of the Shenzhou-8. The Hidden Underbelly thinks this is unquestionable proof that there are UFOs watching what we’re doing up in space, they say:

 “After watching the full video it was very obvious that The Tiangong-1 and Shenzhou 8 mission was being monitored by some unknowns.”

There’s a lot of space up there, but there’s also a lot of space trash.

Well, let’s not jump to conclusions here. After all, there’s a bunch of junk up in space. There’s essentially a cloud of space trash and ice that’s encircling our planet. Whatever this object is, it’s pretty small and could easily be a piece of ice, or an errant piece of shiny metal space trash. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not suspicious. It was late August 1962: Marilyn Monroe had died under controversial circumstances just a few weeks earlier. And, U.S. Intelligence had begun to suspect that the Soviets were secretly transferring nuclear weapons to Cuba – something which, two months later, brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. For a young girl named Anne Leamon, though, life went on as it always had. Just sixteen at the time of her encounter, Anne lived on a farm run by her family in the English county of Somerset. It was a picturesque area: Anne’s bedroom backed right onto the green and inviting Brendon Hills, which, today, are a part of the huge Exmoor National Park. Anne would soon find herself in a strange situation, which revolved around the U.K. military and unidentified aerial phenomena.

As the declassified U.K. Royal Air Force documents on Anne’s UFO encounter reveal, she woke up late one evening – for no particular reason she could fathom – and looked straight out of one of the windows. She was confronted by the sight of a circular-shaped light hovering over the hills. It was also changing color: from red to green and then to yellow. Strange rays of light emanated from the light. Anne looked on, utterly transfixed. Quite naturally, Anne’s first assumption was that it had to be a star; although she had never seen a star like this before. It became very apparent the object was no star when it suddenly began to move. She considered that it might have been a helicopter, but that theory was dismissed as a result of the overwhelming silence.

Suddenly, the object came towards Anne and, in her own words, she felt “attracted” to it. Almost mesmerized by its flickering lights and rapidly changing colors. It then reversed, moved sideways, and then headed back to the hills. It was as if the display was meant for Anne herself – which was likely the case. For around an hour, the light kept its position above the hilly countryside, finally shooting away and vanishing. This was not the end of things, however. There was far more to come. Anne had an eerie feeling that the light would return to her the following night. It did: but this time, it was well into the early morning hours. Yet again, it glided across the Brendon Hills, stopping outsider her bedroom window. She admitted to becoming “quite friendly” with the light, which she felt was not in any way dangerous, even though she was mystified by its origin and intent. Anne took a very proactive approach and made drawings of the object, even tracking its movements via a compass. And the light came again and again – always well into the early hours of the morning and always approaching Anne’s bedroom.

Puzzled but intrigued by her stranger in the night, Anne decided to do something that would ultimately lead to a secret file being opened on her – one which was classified for thirty years. She telephoned a military facility to report what she had seen: Royal Marines Base Chivenor, as it is known today. To this day, the facility remains a vital component of the British Government’s defense network. As interesting as the late night light displays were for Anne, she hardly expected that a senior official in the military would visit her home and interview her at length. After all, it wasn’t as if she was reporting the landing of a UFO, or talking about a face-to-face encounter with bug-eyed aliens. But, that’s exactly what happened: Anne was visited and she became the subject of a large file and the attention of a covert arm of the military. It’s a file now in the public domain at the National Archives.

It was late one evening when there was a knock at the front-door. Anne’s mother opened it and was confronted by a man dressed in a black suit – and who had arrived in a black car. He identified himself as a Sergeant J.W. Scott of the Provost and Security Services. Had Anne and her family a good knowledge of the UFO subject at the time, they would surely have believed they were in the presence of one of the dreaded MIB. In a sense, that’s what he was. Notably, such was Sergeant Scott’s determination to see the mysterious light, he visited the Leamon home on at least three occasions; sitting patiently and near-silently in Anne’s bedroom with her and keeping a careful look-out for the object.

It was on the third occasion that Sergeant Scott finally saw the UFO – for that is surely what it was: an unidentified light-form in the skies above. Notably, Anne stated that Sergeant Scott quickly grabbed the camera he had brought with him, leaned through the window, and took several photos. The mysterious object was now captured – at least, on film. Anne noted that Scott seemed to deliberately try and play down the matter and did his utmost to avoid sensationalizing what Anne thought was a very exciting development in the matter. For Anne, though, it was practically impossible for her not to be excited: after all, a member of a covert arm of the U.K.’s military was standing in her bedroom, firing off photo after photo of an aerial visitor of the very weird variety.

When the object vanished from view, Sergeant Scott got ready to leave; his air of calmness still completely intact: he wasn’t giving away anything. But, he did take something with him: Anne’s drawings and compass notes. Despite promising to return them, Scott never did. He vanished into the night – with all of the available data and documentation – never to be seen again. Before vanishing, though, Scott did suggest to Anne that it would not be a good idea to share the story of her experiences with her school-friends – or, indeed, with anyone else at all, including the media.

Anne was mystified by the whole thing. Even more so when, several weeks later, she got a response from the Air Ministry saying that she had seen nothing stranger than a star. Does it really require an operative of the Provost and Security Services – the “007’s” of the Royal Air Force – to spend so much time and effort looking into the movements of a star? One would imagine they had far better things to do with their time, particularly given the fraught, ongoing situation with the Russians and Fidel Castro’s regime on Cuba. It must be said that one of the things which attracted Anne to the object was its movement: it shot around the sky, even coming close to her bedroom window on several occasions. Stars, I probably don’t need to tell you, certainly do not act in such a fashion. Nor do planets. And, nor do aircraft or helicopters, either.

We can learn a great deal from this undeniably weird series of events. A young girl has close encounters in the dead of night and in her bedroom. She is soon visited by a Man in Black who visits her on three evenings, catches the object on film, grabs her drawings, and leaves her home with a “friendly warning” not to talk about what she had seen. All of this for a star? Not a chance.

*NASA WARNING* | NASA Warns Giant Asteroid May Hit Earth in December 2019

NASA has predicted 31 potential dates between 2019 and 2101, on which the asteroid threatens to hit the Earth. The closest impact date, which also happens to be the most likely date of cataclysm, falls on December 28, 2019.

A GIANT asteroid measuring more than 4,100ft in diameter risks striking the Earth on December 28, 2019, if it suddenly veers off-course, NASA’s asteroid trackers have warned.

The asteroid, dubbed Asteroid 2010 GD37, is next most likely to crash into Earth on December 21, 2093. The asteroid also threatens to hit Earth in December 2022, December 2024 and December 2027.

NASA’s terrifying predictions are based on 19 observations made between April 5, 2010, and April 9, 2010.During this brief period of analysis, the US space agency calculated the asteroid’s diameter and mass as well as its barreling speed.

According to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Asteroid GD37 measures roughly 4,137ft (1.261km) across.The asteroid also weighs in at an incredible 2.7 trillion kg or 2,700,000,000,000kg.

Because of this, NASA believes the asteroid packs a devastating impact force of 260,000 Megatons (Mt).Just one megaton is the equivalent of 1,000 Kilotons (Kt) or 1,000,000kg of TNT, meaning GD37 could hit Earth with the force of 260,000,000,000kg of TNT.

NASA-If an asteroid is indeed going to come very near the Earth then a collision cannot be ruled out early on.

For comparison, the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, had a blast force between 13Kt to 18Kt or 13,000 to 18,000 tonnes of TNT.And at the point of atmospheric entry, Asteroid GD37 would likely hit the Earth at a velocity of 64,088.225mph(28.65km per second).

But what exactly is the risk of Asteroid GD37 striking Earth this year or on any of NASA’s other 30 risk dates?

Thankfully, the danger is minimal and will likely remain so unless some force pushes the asteroid out of its orbit and into Earth’s path.

On December 28, 2019, there is an impact probability of 0.000000070 percent.This means there is a one in 1,400,000,000 odds of cataclysm or a 99.99999993 percent chance the asteroid will miss.

A devastating crash is even less likely to happen on the next most likely impact date in 2093.

Asteroids like GD37 are tracked by NASA’s Sentry systems, which keep a watchful eye on all cataclysmic asteroids threatening Earth.

The US space agency said: “Sentry is a highly automated collision monitoring system that continually scans the most current asteroid catalogue for possibilities of future impact with Earth over the next 100 years.

“Whenever a potential impact is detected it will be analysed and the results immediately published here, except in unusual cases where we seek independent confirmation.”

“The impact probability will tend to grow as the orbit is refined and alternative and safer trajectories are eliminated.

“Eventually, the impact probability will drop, usually quite abruptly, to zero or, if the asteroid is really on a collision trajectory, it will continue to grow until it reaches 100 percent.”

As new observations and orbital calculations are made, NASA often removes objects from its list of threats.

And the good news is NASA currently knows of no object, which directly threatens the safety of the planet in the foreseeable future.

NASA said: “If an asteroid is indeed going to come very near the Earth then a collision cannot be ruled out early on.

How often do asteroids hit Earth?

According to astronomer Lynn Carter of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, it is hard to say exactly how many space rocks pelt the Earth but there are some indicators.

Astronomers estimate the average number of meteors and asteroids which hit Earth by calculating how many hit a certain area over the course of one day.

Dr Carter said: “Another way to tell how many meteorites hit Earth each year is to look at the number of meteorites found in dry regions where there isn’t much vegetation or erosion, where you expect to be able to find most of the meteorites that fell.

“We can get an estimate of how long ago the meteorite fell to Earth by looking at how it’s been weathered, or altered by Earth’s atmosphere and the local climate.

“Then we can plot how many meteorites fell at that region per year.”

On average, studies suggest between 18,000 and 84,000 meteorites bigger than 10 grams reach the Earth each year.

Bright UFO takes off from Mt. Shasta, California

 When visiting my mom in Mt. Shasta on 4/17/19, I was out late looking to take a night-time picture of Mt. Shasta.

As I was taking pictures of the mountain, I called my son who was in our vehicle parked nearby waiting for me, and asked him if it was my imagination or was that star just above Mt. Shasta moving?

He wasn't sure but anyway, when I got home to my mom's and uploaded the pictures, I noticed that one picture with that "star" that I thought was moving earlier, was hovering over the mountain and just below and to the right as you look at the picture, there was a grey cigar shaped object and something on the side of it reaching up toward that "star".

That picture was taken at 10:30 PM with a 20-second shutter speed. The very next picture, a minute later at 10:31, the "star" had taken off from the mountain and left a light trail; and also the object on the mountain was no longer there.

My son and I were curious to see if we could get pictures of it the next night on 4/18/19 and around the same time, we were able to get even more shots that have baffled us of this "star" or whatever it is because of the strange lights and trails that we captured around it. Mufon case 99821.

I found some really amazing structures in the southern part of Mars. The structures appear to be above the ground tunnel like...almost as if a dome was stretched out. One of the structures is in the shape of a capital E. This must be a structure in the shape of alien writing. The word might have a religious or cultural meaning. 

NASA tries to explain the formations as carbon dioxide freezing and creating these structures, but we all know that NASA cannot be trusted to tell us the truth. The structures do appear ancient, but are still in extraordinary condition and might be a good location for a future Mars base one day since the structures are already completed.

This bright unidentified flying object was caught on tape over Holtwood, Pennsylvania on 21st April 2019.

Witness report:

Glowing orb that ascended very quickly, changed direction and shape from a glowing pulsating orb, to a dark grey reflective triangle. My boyfriend and I were having a small bonfire and were sitting facing south toward the river and noticed a strange fast moving red/orange orb coming up the horizon behind the trees, we got out our cell phone and recorded this orb and as it flew overhead. It pulsated a red, orange glow. it changed direction from south to west and seemed to change shape as it flew into the clouds. It also seemed to turn off its lights and then it was a dark grey black triangle that reflected the clouds and was semi-transparent. We recorded this, but its hard to see where it flew into the clouds.

US Government Insider Reveals Pentagon Has A Warehouse For Mysterious Metal Possibly From Crashed UFOs

A former military intelligence official has made a shocking claim regarding mysterious materials possibly from crashed alien spacecraft. Luis Elizondo said the American government has stored “metamaterials” perhaps from extraterrestrial spaceships in a specially modified warehouse in Las Vegas. Elizondo, who was a former head of the secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) of the US Defense Intelligence Agency claimed that aerospace billionaire Robert Bigelow run the warehouse, which is under armed guard and secured with concrete and barbed wire.

Luis Elizondo explained that the “metamaterials” are composites which don’t occur naturally. He said that we don’t have the technical capacity to reproduce such materials with precision.

Elizondo headed the American government investigation into UFOs that shut down in 2012. The Pentagon had spent multi-million dollars for the UFO investigation. The secret project amassed information on other aircraft which seemed to move extremely fast without having any visible form of propulsion.

Elizondo said that other craft appeared to hover without rotor blades. A video of an encounter between an oval-shaped object without exhaust, wings or tail and an F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet was later released to illustrate such sightings investigated by the AATIP. Most of the investigations were contracted out to Bigelow Aerospace, whose founder once told in a TV interview that he believes aliens are real and that UFOs have visited Earth.
