The Trump administration, on Friday, May 8, 2026, released the first batch of “UFO files". The files purportedly claim to have released 162 never-before-seen videos, photographs and witness testimonies tied to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The declassified materials are publicly available through a dedicated portal hosted by the US Department of War. The move is part of the initiative known as PURSUE (Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters) involving multiple US federal agencies.
What is in the UFO files?
Among the most controversial materials were images and transcripts linked to NASA's Apollo 17, Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 moon missions. In the Apollo 12 transcript, it reads “the pilot of the Lunar Module (LMP-LM), Astronaut Alan L. Bean, described observing particles and flashes of light 'sailing off in space' via the onboard Alignment Optical Telescope (AOT). He characterised these phenomena as ‘escaping the Moon.’” Another such testimony from the Apollo 12 mission reads, “Mission Commander, Charles ‘Pete’ Conrad, described observing floating debris outside the lunar module, which had been illuminated by the module’s onboard tracking light. At 06:00:21:51, Conrad assessed that the tracking light had burnt out because he could no longer see the debris from the module.” Another such testimony from the Apollo 17 mission transcript mentions astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt described "very bright particles" and "jagged, angular fragments" moving past their windows. There are several other reports of UAP sightings over Georgia, Turkmenistan, the UAE, and videos of suggested UAPs moving over the Gulf of Oman. Other documents include visual reconstruction of eyewitness testimony; however, none of the files has been verified, and the Trump administration quite similar to the Epstein files has left bread crumbs for the public to fiddle around. It's like another task of augmented reality or a gameshow where the observers are invited to solve the puzzle.
What is the response from the Trump administration?
The White House described the documents as “never-before-seen", while Trump directed people's attention towards the files he did not personally claim the existence of aliens, stating that the public should "make up their own minds". US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth claimed that the release is a move to end "decades of public suspicion" and provide "maximum disclosure".

Scientist and host of the show Cosmos, Carl Sagan, once said, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”. Analysts have urged people to “take it with a grain of salt”. Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, who served as the first director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Pentagon’s official UFO-hunting unit, warned against the "erosion of critical thinking" regarding UAP claims.
Key figures in the UFO disclosure movement are intensifying their demands that the president reveal what the US government supposedly knows about nonhuman life.
One influential entrepreneur claims to have recently met with President Donald Trump on the issue, and another UFO enthusiast believes that more figures in the movement are now descending on Washington, DC, fueling speculation of an 'imminent' announcement from the White House.
Billionaire businessman Robert Bigelow, who has spent years funding UFO research, claimed that he met with Trump in the Oval Office and urged him to make a declaration about nonhuman life.
He told KLAS 8 News Now on Tuesday that he gave the president a statement to read to journalists on Air Force One: 'A non-human intelligent presence has been on Earth for a very long time using spacecraft and with performances completely beyond our capabilities and our human physics.'
Bigelow said he advised Trump to pause at the aircraft door, turn toward the assembled reporters and deliver that single confirmation without elaborating further. The statement, he said, would achieve both disclosure and official confirmation in one sentence, something he said no previous president has been willing to provide.
Filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee, who previously claimed Trump has a disclosure speech 'written and ready,' told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that he believes an announcement will come 'potentially within the next 48 hours.'
White House officials, however, told the Daily Mail that no presidential speech on the subject is planned.
According to Lee, any such address would likely amount to a 'soft disclosure,' potentially acknowledging that some UFO incidents involved spacecrafts and possibly beings of nonhuman origin. He also claimed that the speech could reference historic UFO cases and call for greater transparency on the issue.
In February, Trump called on the Pentagon to release government files related to UFOs
Filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee, who previously claimed Trump has a disclosure speech 'written and ready,' told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that he believes a speech will come 'potentially within the next 48 hours'
'Whether President Trump will go as far as explicitly acknowledging recovered craft or biological material remains to be seen,' Lee said.
'My sources have always indicated there would be significant pushback from certain private and institutional interests, so I expect the final version to be carefully worded.'
Lee previously claimed to the Daily Mail that a supposed draft of Trump's speech referred to several of the most closely scrutinized UFO encounters of the past 80 years, including the US Navy's 2004 encounter with the so-called Tic Tac craft and a series of unexplained objects pursued by fighter pilots along the East Coast in 2015.
Lee also claimed that one version of the speech referred to forensic tests performed on entities purportedly recovered from crashed UFOs, with the results supposedly indicating that the beings did not originate on Earth.
There is no publicly available evidence supporting that claim, and the Daily Mail could not independently verify it.
The US government has maintained that it has found no verifiable evidence that UFO sightings represent extraterrestrial life or that aliens have visited Earth.
Lee's latest claims come after past predictions that never materialized.
In early July, he suggested Trump could deliver the alleged address during the NATO summit in Turkey on July 8, the 79th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident.
The 1947 event in Roswell, New Mexico, involved the crash and recovery of what was said at the time to be a US Air Force high-altitude weather balloon, but was initially identified as a 'flying disc,' sparking conspiracy theories of extraterrestrial life and 'flying saucers.'
Almost 50 years later, the government said that it was actually debris from a US spy balloon used to try to search for evidence of Soviet Union nuclear testing, though UFO enthusiasts claimed such explanations were a cover-up.
The anniversary of the Roswell incident last month passed without an announcement from Trump.

The president's daughter-in-law Lara Trump said in February this year that she was given reason to believe that an address had been prepared and was ready to be delivered publicly.
Trump has supported greater transparency around UFOs, although he has stopped short of describing himself as a believer in extraterrestrial visitation.
'Am I a believer? No, I probably can't say I am. But I have met with people who are serious people who say there are some really strange things that they see flying around out there,' Trump said during a 2024 appearance on YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul's podcast.
In February, Trump directed the Pentagon to declassify government materials on UFOs, resulting in the publication of multiple tranches of materials - a move that Lee had predicted in January.
None of the files released so far, however, have provided definitive evidence that extraterrestrial beings have visited Earth or that the US government possesses alien spacecraft.
'While past administrations have sought to discredit or dissuade the American people, the president is focused on providing maximum disclosure to the public,' White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a statement in May.
Fresh insight draws intrigue Egyptian officials announced a major archaeological discovery in 2023: a previously unknown corridor hidden inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. The remarkable find offers new clues about the pyramid’s design and could help researchers better understand how the ancient monument was constructed and what purpose its hidden spaces may have served.
At the north entrance of the pyramid At a press conference in front of the Pyramid of Giza in early March of 2023, Egypt's Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, said that the tunnel was discovered on the north side of the pyramid.
What does the tunnel look like? Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said in the statement that the mysterious tunnel was nine meters long or 30 feet long and more than two meters or six feet wide.
Groundbreaking technology Thanks to an endoscopic camera with a diameter of 5 mm, which penetrated between the stones without causing any damage, scientists were able to take pictures. These show a stone cavity with a gabled roof.
An international scientific mission This secret room was discovered as part of an international research project called ScanPyramids. Since 2015, German, French, Japanese and Canadian universities have been collaborating with Egyptian archaeologists to study the pyramids and learn more about the construction methods used to build the pyramids more than 4,500 years ago.
Look through the stones ScanPyramids' mission is to use non-invasive technologies to look through the stones to discover previously unknown internal structures within the pyramids.
"We didn't want to dig indiscriminately" Ground-penetrating radar and ultrasonic testing are the techniques used to discover this space through the stones. "We already knew in 2017 that there was a cavity behind it, we just didn't want to dig indiscriminately (...), so additional measurements were needed," explains research engineer Sébastien Procureur, who worked on the project.
A space that remains mysterious "Discovering an empty space in a pyramid is something special," explains German professor Christian Große, leader of the research team. "But the fact that this space is large enough to accommodate several people makes it even more important."
What was it for? According to Zahi Hawass, a famous Egyptian archaeologist, it is "very possible" that this room is "protecting something". It could even house a huge treasure: "In my opinion, it protects the true burial chamber of the Egyptian monarch Khufu," adds the Egyptologist.
"There is not the direct connection that we could hope for" Sébastien Procureur remains more skeptical: "That's a bit of the bad news: there isn't the hoped-for direct connection to the 'Big Void' (the so-called 'great void' at the heart of the pyramid where the pharaoh's body is said to be)". However, research is ongoing to clarify this question.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu The Pyramid of Khufu is the largest of the Pyramids of Giza. For thousands of years it was the tallest, most voluminous and most massive man-made structure in the world. It was built about 45 centuries ago (ca. 2551-2528 BC) to house the body of the pharaoh Khufu, the second ruler of the dynasty.
A fascinating construction An achievement that has always impressed and fascinated scientists. Its many architectural features are further mysteries that have not been solved until now. The researchers' only certainty today is the relatively short construction period: just 25 years.
The existence of the 'Big Void' was discovered in 2017 The "Big Void" is one of the questions that are still unanswered about the Khufu pyramid. Its existence was discovered by the Scan Pyramids teams in 2017. It is a "cavity at least 35 meters long and about 3 meters high," as Sébastien Procureur explains in an interview for Sciences et Avenir magazine.
What is in the 'Big Void'? Archaeologists don't yet know what's in the 'Big Void'. Hypotheses vary, it could simply be a cavity formed during the construction of the pyramid or, what scientists hope, the real burial chamber of the pharaoh Khufu.
The Mystery of Pharaoh Khufu The tomb of Khufu could contain all the treasures of this ancient king, but also the corpse of the pharaoh, which has not yet been discovered.
The research goes on Only one thing is certain: the pyramid has not yet revealed all its secrets to us. The Scan Pyramids teams intend to deepen their research to gather new data and make more discoveries.

Wie denkt dat een zonsverduistering een regelmatig terugkerend 'tussendoortje' is, komt bedrogen uit. We moeten namelijk ver terug in het archief én ver vooruitkijken om de uniciteit van deze 12de augustus op waarde te schatten.
De grootste verduistering in bijna dertig jaar
Het meest opvallende aan de komende eclips is de schaal waarop het gebeurt. Vanuit Nederland zal de maan om 20.11 uur ruim 90 procent van het zonnoppervlak aan het oog onttrekken. Er blijft slechts een dun, glinsterend sikkeltje van de zon over.
Om een vergelijkbare verduistering in ons land mee te maken, moeten we terug naar 11 augustus 1999. Wie dat moment bewust heeft meegemaakt, herinnert zich vast nog de vreemde, spookachtige schemering die toen over het land viel. In de jaren daarna hebben we vanuit Nederland hooguit wat kleine 'happen' uit de zon zien verdwijnen (zoals in maart vorig jaar), maar een bedekking van deze omvang is in bijna dertig jaar niet voorgekomen.
Eens in de generatie: wachten tot 2081
Dat we dit fenomeen koesteren moeten, blijkt wel uit de astronomische kalender voor de toekomst. Hoewel er in 2027 en 2028 opnieuw zonsverduisteringen te zien zijn in Europa, stellen die voor Nederland weinig voor; de maan schampt de zon dan slechts voor een klein gedeelte.
Een verduistering waarbij de zon in Nederland opnieuw voor 90 procent of meer verdwijnt, vindt pas weer plaats op 3 september 2081. Dat duurt dus nog meer dan een halve eeuw. Voor heel veel mensen is de eclips van 12 augustus 2026 dan ook letterlijk een once-in-a-lifetime gebeurtenis op eigen bodem.

Wist je dat?
Wie de zon dít jaar wel écht helemaal wil zien verdwijnen (een totale zonsverduistering van 100%), moet afreizen naar het westen van IJsland of het noorden van Spanje. Daar wordt het midden op de dag of aan het begin van de avond minutenlang pikdonker.
Het bijzondere effect van een avondeclips
Wat deze zonsverduistering nóg unieker maakt, is het tijdstip waarop het gebeurt. Het hele proces speelt zich af tussen 19.17 uur en 21.03 uur. Het hoogtepunt valt rond tien over acht 's avonds.
Omdat de zon rond die tijd al laag aan de hemel staat, valt het samenspel van het verdwijnende zonlicht samen met het invallende avondlicht. Dit zorgt voor een heel bijzonder lichteffect over de landschappen in het noorden: de luchten kleuren anders dan normaal en het goudgele avondlicht maakt plaats voor een koele, mysterieuze schemering.
Of je nu een gepassioneerd liefhebber van het heelal bent of gewoon graag naar de sterrenhemel tuurt: woensdag 12 augustus biedt een natuurverscheindsel dat ons herinnert aan de indrukwekkende dynamiek van het zonnestelsel. Het belooft een gedenkwaardige avond te worden waar we weer tientallen jaren op terug zullen kijken.

Colorado is known by UFO researchers as a hotspot for UFOs. About 98% of the UFOs seen over Colorado are white sphere, which many eyewitnesses over the years have seen military jets chasing, but the spheres out maneuver the jets every time.
Here an eyewitness was putting up a farm fence when they noticed this white sphere over them for over five hours. Now I'm not sure why there is only ten seconds of video? But a little big is better than nothing at all, it still tells us a lot about it. Also he included a very focused photo which gives us the shape, color and translucent view of it. This is a plasma orb which can change sizes and even change shapes to mimic a person...but will still glow after it changes form. Thats why many past people have seen glowing angels, people...the orbs change forms to not scare the person. But here the orb just watches the farmers making the fences, but I can guarantee this...it also was looking through their thoughts and even downloaded their full lifetime of memories, feelings about those memories, smells, taste, etc that go with it, all through the orbs telepathic abilities. Why? To aliens...knowledge is everything. Learning new things is a surprise to them and rarely happens, so they continue the search for new info to share with others of their own kind.

Hey all, this photo is a recent Mars picture taken by the NASA rover. The rover was passing an hill area and was in plain sight of this doorway entrance built into the hilltop. The entrance is exactly like ours to homes on Earth...a rectangle shape about 2 meters by one meter. Why didn't the rover investigate this? Astronomers captured multiple UFOs near and on the Moon, hint at possible Lunar Base A team of researchers from Ukraine's Main Astronomical Observatory reported observing more than 20 unidentified objects moving near and across the Moon during several observation sessions in 2025. Using a high-speed camera mounted on a telescope in Vinarivka, a village in Ukraine's Kyiv region, the team recorded images at 20 frames per second, enabling them to detect extremely fast-moving objects that would have been nearly impossible to observe with conventional astronomical equipment.
The researchers classified the unidentified objects into two broad categories: "atmospheric" and "continental."
The atmospheric objects appeared as brief flashes lasting only fractions of a second. The continental objects, by contrast, were described as disc-shaped, with estimated diameters ranging from approximately 25 to 40 kilometers. According to the study, these objects displayed fluctuations in brightness while appearing to race across the lunar surface.
The team also reported observing toroidal (ring-shaped) objects measuring about 36 kilometers in diameter and traveling at speeds of up to 11 kilometers per second. Their analysis suggests these objects rotated with a period of roughly 180 seconds, generating a calculated centrifugal acceleration approximately twice Earth's gravitational acceleration.
The largest group of more than 20 unidentified objects was recorded during two observation sessions on September 7, 2025, beginning at 7:05 p.m. and 7:27 p.m. ET. Additional ring-shaped objects were reportedly observed during a separate session on August 16, 2025, at 2:52 a.m. ET.
In one notable observation, two objects believed to be separated by hundreds of miles appeared to flash simultaneously. The researchers considered this synchronization to be statistically significant, although they emphasized that it does not demonstrate communication or intelligent control.
Based on their observations, the authors proposed that the objects may exhibit structured or technological behavior. They further speculated that the Moon could serve as a base for these unidentified objects and suggested they might be capable of traveling from the Moon to Earth in approximately 20 minutes, where they could appear in Earth's atmosphere as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
Ultimately, the researchers proposed that the observed objects could represent the activity of a technologically advanced non-human civilization.
These reported UFO sightings near the Moon by professional astronomers, and the suggestion that the objects may be linked to a lunar base, stand in direct contrast to NASA's longstanding position (cover-up) that there is no evidence of UFOs on or near the Moon and that no lunar base exists.

Many people question whether humanity can truly be alone in such a vast universe, much of which remains unexplored. Scientists have studied only the observable universe, leaving countless questions unanswered. Reports of unexplained phenomena have surfaced over the years through films such as Project Hail Mary, declassified documents and other sources.
Recently, a study by researchers at Ukraine's Main Astronomical Observatory sparked fresh debate after claiming to have detected more than 20 unidentified aerial objects (UAOs) moving near and across the Moon. The findings, which have attracted global attention, have not undergone peer review and have not been independently verified.

According to the researchers, some of the disc-shaped objects were estimated to measure between 15 and 25 miles across. The objects were observed during multiple telescope sessions in 2025 using a high-speed camera mounted on a telescope in Vinarivka, in Ukraine's Kyiv region. The camera captured 20 frames per second, allowing scientists to identify faint objects that appeared as tiny specks against the Moon's surface, the Daily Mail reported.
The team classified the sightings into two categories. The first, described as "atmospheric" objects, appeared to remain stationary while moving in sync with the Moon. The second, referred to as "continental" objects, appeared to travel across the lunar surface. Researchers also reported rapid flashes of light from some objects, with a few displaying synchronised brightness patterns.
Moon could serve as a base
In another study that has not been peer-reviewed, the researchers identified two categories of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The first, described as "atmospheric" objects, appeared stationary, while the second appeared to move across the Moon's surface. The researchers also stated that "UFOs are observed on Earth and in near-Earth space.
X/ Main Astronomical Observatory
Based on their calculations, the scientists suggested that some of the objects could range from about 1,440ft to more than a mile in size, depending on how much sunlight they reflected. The study further speculated that the unusual movement and light patterns might indicate structured or technological behaviour. The researchers also proposed the possibility that the Moon could serve as a base for the unidentified objects.
Producing artificial gravity
The report stated that some of the unidentified objects emitted rapid flashes lasting between one-tenth and half a second, with their brightness rising and falling in repeating patterns resembling a pulsing process. The study also suggested that two objects, estimated to be about 100 miles apart, appeared to flash in unison.

Astronomers studying the moon claim to have captured possible evidence of a technologically advanced nonhuman civilization.
Scientists atUkraine’s Main Astronomical Observatory reported observing more than 20 unidentified objects moving near and across the moon several months in 2025.
In a new study that has not been peer-reviewed, the team said they identified two categories of UFOs: ‘atmospheric’ objects that appeared stationary and ‘continental’ objects that appeared to move across the moon’s surface.
The objects also appeared to display unusual changes in brightness and rotation.
The researchers argued that those patterns could indicate structured, technological behavior, and raised the possibility that the objects originated from a hidden base on the moon.
'UFOs are observed on Earth and in near-Earth space. We believe that the moon serves as a base for UFOs,' the team shared in the study.
The researchers claimed the objects could reach Earth within 20 minutes and appear in the atmosphere as UAPs. They argued that the objects’ apparently intelligent behavior could point to the existence of a 'technologically advanced civilization.'

While the scientists are sure the objects they observed were likely nonhuman craft, there is no scientific evidence of aliens or artificial structures on the moon.
Researchers recorded the main group of more than 20 unidentified objects during two observation periods on September 7, 2025, beginning at 7.05pm and 7.27pm ET.
They reported detecting additional ring-shaped objects during a separate observation on August 16, 2025, at 2.52am ET. Both sightings were captured using a high-speed camera attached to a telescope in Vinarivka, a village in Ukraine’s Kyiv region.
The high-speed camera snapped 20 images every second, allowing the scientists to track objects that would have otherwise been nearly impossible to see.
The UFOs were so faint that some appeared as nothing more than a two-by-two-pixel speck against the moon.
But the researchers claimed the objects were not behaving randomly.
Those labeled ‘atmospheric’ appeared to remain locked in place as they moved in sync with the moon, suggesting they were somehow anchored near its surface, the study noted.

The report added that the objects also emitted rapid flashes lasting between one-tenth and half a second, with their brightness rising and falling in repeating patterns that the team described as a pulsing process.
The study highlighted that two objects believed to be hundreds of miles apart appeared to flash in unison.
Researchers said the link was statistically significant, although the finding does not prove that the objects were communicating or controlled by intelligent beings.
The team then used the amount of light reflected by the UFOs to estimate their potential size.
Even under the assumption that they reflected 100 percent of the sunlight hitting them, the objects would have measured approximately 1,440 feet across.
If their surfaces reflected light in the same way as the Moon, however, they could have been more than one mile wide.
The scientists admitted that they did not know what the objects were made of or how reflective they were, meaning their true size remains uncertain.

The most extraordinary objects were those the researchers called ‘continental’ UFOs, which appeared to race across the lunar surface.
One reportedly traveled nearly 14 miles at an astonishing 4.1 miles per second.

Two others appeared to be massive discs measuring approximately 16 miles and 25 miles across, making the larger object nearly the length of Manhattan.
Their brightness also rose and fell at repeating frequencies, which the team isolated from atmospheric interference and telescope-tracking errors using specialized filtering software.
A separate observation on August 16, 2025 revealed something even stranger.
