The viral 2015 Los Angeles sighting that captivated millions by resembling a pop culture icon has found new relevance inside official military data logs.
(Photo: X/@JackDangerLIVE)
The skies over Los Angeles became a cosmic movie set in September 2015 when a massive, glowing white figure drifted into view.
Onlookers bypassed standard flying saucer descriptions entirely, pointing out that the bizarre silhouette looked exactly like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, who is a famous fictional movie character depicted as a giant, puffy paranormal monster made of white marshmallows wearing a sailor hat.
The footage exploded across social media networks, logging millions of hits as viewers argued whether it was an extraterrestrial visitor, or just a brilliant helium balloon prank
Now, that viral internet memory has abruptly transformed into a matter of high-stakes military investigation.
The United States Department of War published its second official release of declassified files, which are documents cleared of government secrecy, under the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters on May 22, 2026, pulling the old mystery back into the spotlight.
Independent researchers digging through the newly uploaded archives on the official portal spotted an unmistakable anomaly in a video catalogued as NAG UAP 1 JUN 20.
The abbreviation UAP stands for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, which is the modern scientific and military term used instead of UFO to describe unexplained objects or lights tracked in the air, underwater, or in space.
The official military file displays a nearly identical, upright white shape moving through the air with the exact same unnatural posture.
What was once mocked as a digital hoax is now officially classified as a genuine aerial mystery, forcing scientists to take another look at the decade-old phenomenon.
What makes the resurgence of this footage so compelling to the scientific community is the precise nature of the object’s flight path.
The military file, which draws parallels to another civilian sighting from Sequoia National Park, shows an object that completely defies standard aviation mechanics, which is the science behind how aircraft design, engineering, and structures allow them to operate safely.
It does not possess visible wings, rotors, or propulsion exhaust, which is the forceful stream of gases or fuel expelled from an engine to push a vehicle forward.
This lacks any signature belonging to traditional aircraft, helicopters, or commercial drones, ruling them out completely.
Furthermore, the object maintains a rigid vertical alignment, which means it is locked in a perfectly upright, straight up and down position.
The core of the mystery comes down to two completely separate events that look like mirror images of each other.
The first occurred in September 2015, when civilians in Los Angeles filmed a bizarre, puffy white shape that the internet nicknamed the marshmallow man.
The second occurred five years later on June 1, 2020, when a military tracking sensor captured an identical silhouette flying over the Middle East.
Even though these two objects look like the exact same entity, they are separate encounters recorded half a decade and thousands of miles apart, suggesting that this strange shape is a repeating phenomenon rather than a one-off event.
The earlier 2015 sighting over Sequoia National Park captured an identical white, amorphous silhouette that internet sleuths famously dubbed the Sequoia alien.
Both profiles show an irregular, humanoid form that appears to hover with a single leg-like extension.
While typical weather balloons drift, rotate, and expand as atmospheric pressure changes, this white silhouette moves with a highly fluid motion that looks like it is walking or floating upright in the air.
The Department of War has officially labeled the footage as unresolved. This means that advanced sensory data, or information collected by high-tech equipment like military radar, optical cameras, and infrared heat sensors, and engineering reviews could not match the object to any known terrestrial.
While the online community is focused on the humanoid shape, atmospheric scientists caution against leaping to extraterrestrial conclusions.
Analysts point to pareidolia, a well-documented neurological phenomenon, which is a hardwired brain trick or psychological tendency where the human mind naturally forces familiar patterns, like faces or bodies, onto completely random or ambiguous shapes.
When low-resolution military footage is heavily magnified, the naturally occurring pixelation, which is the grainy blurring that happens when digital image blocks become visible to the eye, can easily create the illusion of limbs or a distinct torso.
However, even if the humanoid appearance is a trick of light and shadow, the tracking data remains a genuine scientific anomaly.
If these two distinct objects spotted five years apart, first in 2015 and then again in 2020, are merely stray balloons, their ability to maintain absolute structural stability against high-altitude crosswinds without tumbling remains completely unexplained.
Standard airborne debris or atmospheric balloons typically distort or rotate wildly when subjected to changing high-altitude wind vectors.
By contrast, the military thermal tracking footage from June 1, 2020, confirms that the object maintained its rigid structural profile throughout its flight.
A viral 2015 UFO mystery is back. Newly unsealed military files from the US Department of War show a floating, upright silhouette that looks identical to the infamous marshmallow man sighting from a decade ago, and officials have marked it as unresolved. (Photo: X/@JackDangerLIVE)Rather than drifting passively with the wind, the object executed controlled, slow rotations on its axis while holding its precise shape, directly challenging the conventional civilian debris hypothesis.
The civilian debris hypothesis is the theory that an unexplained aerial object is actually just an ordinary, man-made item like a stray helium balloon or party decoration drifting through the sky.
As the disclosure initiative prepares its third wave of digital disclosures, the focus remains on gathering hard empirical data, or verifiable evidence obtained through direct experimentation or scientific measurement, to determine whether the skies are hosting advanced domestic technology, foreign surveillance systems, or something else entirely.
An unusual optical illusion appears on the Moon

On the night of May 23–24, two Latin letters were visible along the terminator line, created by the interplay of light and shadow.

People on Earth are fortunate to be able to observe the Moon, which never looks exactly the same two nights in a row. As our moon rotates, the angle at which sunlight hits its surface is constantly changing. This causes the light to dynamically “run” across the landscape, altering the length and shape of the shadows cast by deep craters, fissures, and high mountain ranges.
Since the Moon has no atmosphere to scatter light, the boundary between light and darkness there is extremely sharp. This stark contrast creates ideal conditions for the formation of illusions. Thanks to the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia, our brain is naturally inclined to seek out familiar images and symbols in chaotic patterns. This is precisely how the light-and-shadow effect arises, when brightly lit peaks against a backdrop of dark, unlit valleys suddenly form distinct, recognizable shapes.
The locations of the letters X and V on the Moon’s surface
The phenomenon of letters appearing on the Moon is quite fleeting. The lunar “X” and “V” were most clearly visible over the weekend. Both letters reached their maximum visual prominence on May 23 and remained clearly visible until the early hours of May 24. They appeared near the terminator—the line separating the lunar day and night. It is along this boundary that the sun’s rays glide at a very low angle, illuminating only the highest points.
The letter “V” shone brightly near the terminator line, situated between the lunar seas Sinus Medii and Mare Vaporum, approximately 10° above the lunar equator. This shape, which perfectly resembles the Latin letter, appears where light is successfully reflected off the high rims of the Ucart crater, blending harmoniously with the glare from nearby terrain features and smaller impact sites.

At a point located approximately 25° south of the equator, on the edge of the light, the famous lunar “X” flashed brightly against the deep darkness. This gigantic symbol is formed by a unique combination of circumstances, when sunlight illuminates only the jagged, rugged rims of three neighboring craters—Purbach, Blanchinus and La Caille.

While their high outer walls are already catching the first rays of light, the deep bottoms of the craters are still shrouded in the black darkness of night. From a distance, it looks like a bright, distinct cross, mysteriously floating in the void.
Earlier, we explained how the Moon was formed and why it is so different from Earth.
Pentagon UFO Files Add CIA Report on Kazakhstan’s Sary Shagan Range
BY K Krombie

On May 22, the Pentagon released the second tranche of U.S. Department of War records on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the official term now often used for what are commonly called UFOs, through the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, known as PURSUE.
The first batch, published on May 8, included a 1994 State Department cable about a Tajik Air crew’s report of an unidentified object over Kazakhstan.
The new PURSUE release includes a CIA intelligence report describing a 1973 sighting at the Soviet Union’s Sary Shagan weapons testing range in Kazakhstan. The report itself is not new to the public record. The CIA first released it in 1978 in a heavily redacted version, leaving the brief UAP account as the only section that remained substantially readable. A fuller copy was cleared for release in the agency’s December 19, 2019 response to a Mandatory Declassification Review request filed by John Greenewald, founder of The Black Vault, a website that publishes declassified U.S. government records obtained through public-records requests.
Much of the document deals with missile systems and warhead handling. It also refers to “rumored laser research” and includes a brief account of what the report calls an “unidentified phenomenon.”
The CIA describes the source as a “former Soviet citizen who served…,” with the rest of the line obscured. Given the report’s detailed references to Sary Shagan sites and facility layouts, the file appears to rely on someone with firsthand knowledge of the range, though the released copy does not clarify the nature of the source’s connection to it.
According to the report, on “one evening in late summer 1973,” the source stepped outside at Site 7 during a Canada-USSR sports broadcast and saw “an unidentified sharp (bright) green circular object or mass in the sky.” The object was west of the site at an estimated 70-degree angle, though its altitude was “undeterminable.”
After 10 to 15 seconds, the “green circle widened” and “several green concentric circles formed around the mass.” There was no sound, and the object disappeared within minutes.
Sary Shagan, near Lake Balkhash in central Kazakhstan, was established by the Soviet Union in 1956 for anti-ballistic missile testing and was the site of what is widely described as the world’s first successful interception of a ballistic missile warhead on March 4, 1961. Russia still leases parts of the range, while Kazakhstan controls other areas.
The file also refers to the System-75, or SA-2, a Soviet surface-to-air missile system, and to the System-300/Aldan, which a CIA field comment identifies as the ABM-1 Galosh anti-ballistic missile. “According to hearsay,” the report says, experiments involving laser weapons were being conducted somewhere at the range and “supposedly” involved “powerful antennas,” though the file gives “no further details.”
A better-known Soviet-era UAP case is the Petrozavodsk phenomenon of September 20, 1977, named for the city in Karelia in northwestern Russia, where the most widely publicized sighting was reported. Accounts of unusual lights also came from locations in northern Europe and further afield in the Soviet Union.
Unlike the green circles reported at Sary Shagan, a TASS dispatch preserved in the CIA Reading Room described a “huge star” that spread out over the city “in the form of a medusa,” sending fine rays downward. A version of a 1977 USSR Academy of Sciences report reproduced by AstroNet described the sighting in stages, from a small bright object inside a translucent shell to curved rays that gave it a jellyfish-like shape.
The incident drew official attention and, along with an increase in reports in 1977-1978, prompted the USSR Academy of Sciences to approve a research program on anomalous atmospheric phenomena. The program was code-named SETKA-AN, referring to the Academy of Sciences, and ran alongside SETKA-MO, its Ministry of Defense counterpart.
The phenomenon has often been linked to Kosmos 955, a Soviet satellite launched from Plesetsk in the early hours of September 20. However, later accounts painted a more complex picture and questioned whether a single high-altitude object could account for the reports.
A separate, much less firmly documented Kazakhstan-related case appears in Thread Three, a translated Russian UFO document file made available through 8NewsNow. The file is connected to George Knapp, a longtime UAP journalist and chief investigative reporter for KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, whose September 9, 2025, written testimony to a House Oversight hearing described Russian UFO records he said he obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defense and affiliated organizations during the 1990s.
In that testimony, Knapp said the committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets had received copies of the Russian documents. He also said some of the material had previously been shared with Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies and the Defense Intelligence Agency for translation and analysis. Knapp referred to a later program dubbed “Thread III,” which he described as an analysis effort that monitored UFO cases, news reports, and Western government interest.
The Thread Three file includes an account concerning Derzhavinsk, a town in northern Kazakhstan’s Akmola Region. According to the translation, the alleged incident occurred on June 27, 1979, when a group of Soviet Young Pioneers from the Berezka camp went for a walk to a mound identified as “Lisaya.” Members of the group, accompanied by an adult educator, noticed a flash near the forest edge and later encountered figures described in the translation as tall, dark, and slender, with large pink eyes. That evening, a teacher and a girl were said to have seen one of the figures near the campsite.
Older accounts of the same story trace its earlier circulation to a July 19, 1979 letter to Tekhnika Molodezhi and local follow-up reporting by Turgayskaya Nov’; those accounts give the date as June 26.
The Derzhavinsk account has not been verified through an official archive and should be treated as unconfirmed.
Ross Coulthart: Trump poised to reveal "we are not alone" on non-human intelligence
Ross Coulthart: Trump poised to reveal "we are not alone" on non-human intelligence
Marcus Walsh - Journalist

We are not alone.
Following President Trump's second release of UFO evidence last Friday, leading journalist Ross Coultart is anticipating a huge announcement very soon from the White House, potentially stating that “we are not alone.”
As Memorial Weekend descended on the US, President Trump set forth the second tranche of UFO evidence, keeping the space community deep in discussion.
And as experts lamented the “limited usefulness” for most of the videos, a lot of the focus was on when and if we might reach some sort of promised land of ultimate truth.
Ross Coulthart is not one to beat around the bush, having stated a week ago that President Trump has indeed been briefed about the Pentagon's secretive Crash Retrieval Program.
Speaking live on Newsnation, Coultart has followed this up by saying that it’s “likely that the president is going to reveal that we are not alone, that there are non-human intelligences engaging with this planet.”
And what’s more, Coultart nodded towards the fact that the White House has been “consulting with religious leaders,” which could well signal hesitation about how to truly prepare the global population.
This threads into recent comments by evangelists such as Perry Stone, who has spoken of “reptilian-looking creatures." No, your eyes were not deceiving you when you read that.
Coultart, not one to mince his words, suggested that the administration needs to show the public that “their finger is on the pulse,” before playing down any imminent threat of an alien invasion.
And it’s the very sense of “imminent” that had a few Redditors grappling.
“He never talks about real shit. He always talks about stuff that is about to happen,” while another remarked that he has used “imminent framing” before, while giving kudos to his journalistic pedigree.

Another thread on the r/UFO group showed the mixed sentiments among UFOers. One commenter listed a few of the spokespeople on the UFO train, like Anna Pualina Luna, Tim Burchett, and Eric Burlison (among others), and recommended: “let’s see what happens.”
@corneliusvanhouten meanwhile examined how “it’s crazy how the mainstream media and most of the general population are not picking up on this.

Well, if Coultart is right and a big statement is upon us, then more likely than not, the topic won’t be on the fringes for much longer.
China launches 'human artificial embryos' to space in bid to see whether reproduction is possible off-world
China's Tianzhou-10 mission just delivered embryo-like structures made from living stem cells to the Tiangong space station. Experiments could shed light on how radiation and microgravity affect human reproduction.

"Human artificial embryos" have been sent into space for the first time. The ground-breaking structures, made from living stem cells, arrived on China's Tiangong space station on May 11 and will soon return to Earth.
China has become the first nation to send "human artificial embryos" to space in a bid to better understand how microgravity and cosmic radiation may affect human reproduction. The results could have big implications for our ability to set up self-sustaining colonies on the moon and Mars.
The embryo-like structures, made from living human stem cells, arrived on the Tiangong ( "Heavenly Palace") space station in the early hours of May 11 as part of the Tianzhou-10 resupply mission, state officials revealed. The mission also delivered around 7 tons (6.3 metric tons) of cargo — including food, fuel, spacesuits and other scientific experiments — to the Chinese astronauts currently living on the station.
The Tianzhou-10 spacecraft, which is similar to the cargo ships that deliver supplies to the International Space Station (ISS), lifted off from Wenchang Space Launch Site around five hours earlier, at 8:14 p.m. EDT on May 10, Live Science's sister site Space.com reported.

The artificial embryos are made from collections of stem cells that can divide and multiply like a normal embryo but are unable to properly develop into a fetus or baby, allowing researchers to carry out their work with fewer ethical concerns.
"This is not a real human embryo and does not have the ability to develop into an individual," Leqian Yu, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences' (CAS) Institute of Zoology who is leading the experiment, said May 14 in a CAS statement. "However, it can serve as a model for studying early human development."
Two types of artificial embryos, representing different phases of embryonic development between 14 and 21 days after fertilization, were used in the experiment. The first is a peri-implantation model, which mimics the critical phase where an embryo attaches itself to the uterine wall. The second is a peri-gastrulation model, which replicates the point in early development when a single layer of cells reorganizes into distinct layers that will eventually form different tissues and organs.

The Tianzhou-10 mission delivered more than 200 individual items to the Tiangong Space Station, according to Space.com.

The embryos will be allowed to grow for five days before they are frozen and later returned to Earth for analysis. "The experiment is going very well," Yu said in the statement. (By now, the embryos have likely already been put on ice.)
As the embryos were developing in space, researchers in China grew and froze identical artificial embryos, which will serve as the control group for the experiment. "We hope that by comparing the development of space and ground samples, we can identify the factors affecting early human embryonic growth in the space environment, and address the risks and challenges humans may face during long-term space habitation," Yu said.
Similar experiments involving zebrafish embryos and mouse embryos were also launched on board Tianzhou-10.
The ability to reproduce in space will be crucial if humanity is to establish a permanent presence on the moon, Mars and other more distant worlds. However, several issues need to be overcome before this can happen, if it is even possible at all.

Experts have warned that as space tourism becomes more mainstream, non-astronauts will likely start having sex in space, which could lead to babies being conceived off-world.
Previous research has hinted that the high levels of radiation in space could damage developing embryos, while microgravity is also expected to be a major stumbling block.
Yu told state-run media that the artificial embryos "were brought to space to explore whether life, which has evolved under gravity for hundreds of millions of years, is affected by its sudden absence."

Studying the very early stages of embryonic development will be particularly important for determining the feasibility of natural reproduction under these conditions. It is "a critical window in early human development, during which the building blocks for future organs begin to form, and the entire body axis — which determines the head and the tail — is established," Yu told state-run media outlets.
A recent study also revealed that microgravity could disorient sperm cells, making it much less likely for egg fertilization to occur. And it's been known for a while that stem cells age much faster in space than they do on Earth, which could also be a serious issue.
Given these challenges, it may be necessary to turn to in vitro fertilization to help grow babies in space, which is an idea already being explored by several private space exploration companies.

Scientist gave shocking alien 'confession' about Area 51 before his death
A Lockheed Martin scientist who claimed to have top-secret clearance at Nevada's Area 51 gave a 'death confession' about aliens at the classified base.
Boyd Bushman sat down with independent aerospace engineer Mark Q Patterson shortly before he passed away at age 78 on August 17, 2014, where he revealed a stack of photographs he said were of extraterrestrials.
'They're approximately five feet four inches to five feet tall,' said Bushman, as he held an image of what he touted as an alien lifeform.
'One or two of them were around 230 years old, and we had at least 18 of them operating around the facility.'
He alleged that around 13 years prior to him giving the interview, he came into contact with a person connected to physicist Edward Teller, often referred to as the 'father of the hydrogen bomb,' who Bushman claimed remained involved with secret programs tied to Area 51 after J Robert Oppenheimer was removed from the facility.
According to Bushman, he stayed in regular contact with the head of the program and continued receiving updates about classified projects.
The engineer said he still held top-secret clearance but believed information hidden within the 'dark recesses of Area 51' should be revealed to the public.
The resurfaced video comes as the Trump administration released the first UFO disclosure files this month, with a second phase planned 'very soon.'

Boyd Bushman sat down with independent aerospace engineer Mark Q Patterson shortly before he passed away at age 78 on August 17, 2014, where he revealed a stack of photographs he said were of extraterrestrials
There is no publicly available evidence confirming Bushman’s claims about extraterrestrials or secret UFO programs at Area 51.
Skeptics have long questioned Bushman’s allegations, noting that photographs he presented as alien beings appeared similar to commercially available prop dolls sold online.
Bushman held dozens of patents tied to advanced aerospace and military technology during his decades-long career at Lockheed Martin and other defense contractors.
His inventions included systems for detecting missile exhaust plumes, reducing infrared signatures on aircraft engines, electromagnetic propulsion devices, laser-powered thrust systems and advanced target detection technology designed for military aircraft and missiles.
Several patents also focused on futuristic magnetic propulsion concepts, energy transfer systems and experimental aircraft technology, helping fuel later speculation surrounding his claims about secret government research and UFO reverse-engineering programs.
Bushman claimed that his people inside Area 51 sent him pictures of not only alien bodies, but also UFOs being held at the base, and claimed anti-gravity is one of several technologies being hidden by the government.
'This is a UFO that is ready to take off, and they informed me that it contains three elements: cobalt, germanium and gadolinium,' he said, holding a photograph up to the camera.
'I did not say metal once. Not only that, but these things pick up and fly using anti-gravity.

Bushman claimed that his people inside Area 51 sent him pictures of not only alien bodies, but also UFOs being held at the base, and claimed anti-gravity is one of several technologies being hidden by the government
'Here's another picture. In this case, the UFO is not turned on and ready to fly, so you only see the upper part of it. Generally, it's white on the underside when power is applied. Here's another one of the same type.
'These UFOs are 38 feet in diameter, and that was rather surprising to me.'
The scientist then claimed that there was a hidden underground shaft at Area 51, specifically designed for UFOs to land and take off.
Among other wild claims, Bushman said that the aliens kept at the base hailed from a planet 68 light-years away called Quintumnia, but that it takes them just 45 minutes to reach our planet.
Bushman showed what he claimed were several alien photographs, showing creatures with small heads full of veins, large eyes and feet with five toes that are 'joined together like a frog.'

Among other wild claims, Bushman said that the aliens kept at the base hailed from a planet 68 light-years away called Quintumnia, but that it takes them just 45 minutes to reach our planet
Area 51, officially established in 1955, remained largely under the radar until 1989, when whistleblower Robert Lazar appeared on television.
He claimed he had worked at a hidden facility near Groom Lake, known as 'S-4,' reverse-engineering alien spacecraft, further cementing Area 51's place in UFO lore.
While Lazar's claims have been dismissed as a hoax, Bushman claimed that there were American citizens suited up at the base and working on UFOs 24 hours a day.
'There's been a total of 39 US citizens who have lost their lives trying to reverse engineer UFOs,' said Bushman.
'Last one I heard of was a year and a half ago, where we lost 19 lives in one test. They actually wanted to bring a line craft near the UFO, and the UFO defended itself.'

Four species of aliens recovered from crashed UFOs according to CIA scientist... here's what they look like
A former CIA scientist has claimed that there are several alien species the US government secretly knows about.
Dr Hal Puthoff, a physicist and electrical engineer who worked on the intelligence community's psychic spy and UFO research programs in the 1970s and 1980s, said people who have recovered crashed UFOs encountered 'at least four separate types' of life.
Those species have been previously discussed by physicist Dr Eric Davis, known for his work on top-secret Pentagon projects, who testified in Congress that 'Grays, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians' are potential operators of unidentified craft.
Davis described these entities as humanoid, approximately human-sized, and possibly linked to classified reverse-engineering programs allegedly taking place around the world, which US officials described as a new Cold War.
Speaking on Steve Bartlett's The Diary of a CEO podcast last week, Puthoff said: 'There are at least four types. Four separate types. Now, I have not had direct access to that, but I believe the people I talked to. Four different types of life, at least.'
The Grays are the classic four-foot-tall creatures with large heads and enormous, almond-shaped black eyes, while Nordics are said to closely resemble extremely tall humans from Scandinavia, with blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin.
Reptilians may be the most infamous of the alien races mentioned, as this giant species has been alleged to look like serpents but walk like humans, and have the ability to shapeshift, sparking unproven claims from conspiracy theorists that these creatures regularly infiltrate human society.
Meanwhile, the Insectoids have been said to resemble giant mantis-like creatures with multiple limbs, an exoskeleton, mandibles and antennae.

The revelations came after the first wave of UFO files were disclosed on May 8
The revelations came after the first wave of UFO files were disclosed to the American people one week earlier.
Puthoff appeared on the May 14 podcast with filmmaker and director Dan Farah, who recently released the bombshell documentary The Age of Disclosure, which claimed that the US government has been covering up a massive UFO recovery operation since the 1940s.
Farah said during the interview: 'The people I've talked to, through the process of making the documentary, both on camera and off the record sources, and the people Hal's talked to over the decades have said that there have been dozens of recoveries of crashed craft in the US alone.'
'Dozens of craft of non-human origin that either crashed organically or caused a crash and then recovered,' the director added.
Farah's documentary interviewed a plethora of high-ranking government officials, military veterans and whistleblowers from the US intelligence community who revealed what they knew about the global effort to reverse engineer advanced technology left behind by these four races.
This included testimony from physicist Davis, a colleague of Puthoff's who previously revealed what he knew about the four alien races during a special meeting on Capitol Hill in May last year.
Davis stunned those at the hearing by revealing detailed descriptions of the species, which he said were the alleged operators of unidentified craft over the US.
Last year, Davis told members of Congress: 'There are typically multiple species people are familiar with.

Descriptions from CIA reports and alleged UFO witnesses match decades-long descriptions of a claimed race of beings called 'the Grays,' the popular alien depiction in the mid-1960s

Respected scientist Eric Davis told Congress last year that there are four alien species piloting craft in our skies, including Nordics (left) and Reptilians
'The greys, the Nordics... People are talking about reptilians and insectoids. It's not that they're reptilian or insectoid. It's that they resemble, to the percipient, a reptile or insect-type humanoid. Because they have a head, and four limbs, and a torso.'
The concept of Grays quickly became the popular alien depiction in the mid-1960s, largely due to the famous Betty and Barney Hill abduction case.
The New Hampshire couple described being taken by small humanoids with smooth gray skin, large black almond-shaped eyes, and lacking typical human features like noses or ears.
The Nordics, the tall Scandinavian-like aliens, have often been linked to the Pleiades star cluster, a region 440 light-years (or 2.6 trillion miles) from Earth.
Those who have allegedly contacted these entities, or were aware of government agencies that did, have said the Nordics possessed advanced technology and had peaceful intentions. They have been featured in UFO lore since the 1950s.
Insectoids, meanwhile, have been part of alien mythology since at least the early 1900s, with roots tracing back to Georges Melies' 1902 film A Trip to the Moon.
These beings have been compared to six-foot-tall versions of Earth's praying mantis, and those who have claimed to see these creatures alleged that the Insectoids were a telepathic race, capable of sending messages directly to the human mind.
As for the Reptilian theory, there have been wild claims that the shape-shifting aliens secretly control Earth, a conspiracy theory popularized by David Icke in the late 20th century.
Interestingly, similar half-human, half-serpent figures appear in ancient South and Southeast Asian myths, such as the Naga.

Army UFO whistleblower made wild claims he was telepathically linked to 'mantis alien' before his death
A former US Army sergeant claimed he spent most of his life in telepathic contact with an alien companion before his death in 2021.
Clifford Stone rose to prominence in UFO circles after testifying at the National Press Club in Washington in 2001, where he alleged he had participated in a secret Army program tasked with recovering crashed UFO materials.
Stone claimed the mysterious being he called ‘Korona’ first appeared to him when he was seven years old and continued communicating with him telepathically throughout his life.
The Army veteran described the entity as a mantis-like creature and said it was one of several unexplained encounters he experienced over the decades, though no evidence supporting the claims was ever presented publicly.
While the US government has never confirmed such creatures as Stone described, a former CIA scientist recently stated that there are different types of aliens.
Dr Hal Puthoff, a physicist and electrical engineer who worked on the intelligence community's psychic spy and UFO research programs in the 1970s and 1980s, said last week that people who have recovered crashed UFOs encountered 'at least four separate types' of life.
Those allegedly include Grays, Nordics, Reptilians and Insectoids, which Stone's mantis alien would fall under.
Stone made statements that when he met Korona during childhood, telepathic messages flooded his head, saying: 'The entity even told me that he could feel the emotions that I felt. From that day on, I would have, at his pleasure, interactions with this entity, who would later tell me that his name was Korona,' he added.

Clifford Stone (Pictured) testified in front of the National Press Club in Washington that he was involved in salvaging material from crashed UFOs
The Army veteran also claimed he believed many aliens walk among humans in an effort to observe and better understand the human race.
During his bombshell testimony at the National Press Club, he alleged that he had personally catalogued 57 different species of extraterrestrial life forms while working in secret military programs.
Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on January 2, 1949, he joined the Army in 1969 and served for more than 20 years, including during the Vietnam War, where he worked as an administrative and legal specialist.
His official military records list his primary role as an administrative and legal specialist, a position he held while serving for more than two decades.
Over time, however, Stone asserted that his duties extended far beyond clerical work.
He claimed he was quietly reassigned to classified recovery operations involving unidentified craft and, in some cases, non-human biological entities - these assertions have never been independently verified.
'I was involved in situations where we actually did recoveries of crashed saucers. There were bodies that were involved in some of these crashes. Also, some of these were alive,' Stone said, according to a 2001 report from the BBC.
The Department of Defense has never confirmed Stone's involvement in any program related to extraterrestrial recovery or communication, and no declassified documents substantiate his account.

Army veteran Clifford Stone claimed that he was in telepathic contact with a mantis-like creature which called itself Korona
(Stock Image)
Critics have long pointed out this absence of evidence, noting that extraordinary claims demand extraordinary proof.
Although the US government has maintained that there has never been physical proof of UFOs or alien life existing, President Trump has ordered the Pentagon to release all information regarding extraterrestrial encounters.
Until his death, Stone consistently maintained that his claims were rooted in firsthand encounters rather than speculation, describing them as experiences that had permanently changed his understanding of religion, mortality, and humanity's place in the universe.
Stone claimed that Korona's civilization had reached what it considered a scientific conclusion about the existence of a creator, not as a matter of belief, but as an empirically established reality.
Scholars of religion and philosophy have long debated whether scientific inquiry can ever address metaphysical questions such as the existence of God.
Stone claimed that belief in a singular creator is 'no longer a faith-based ideal,' and argued that science from advanced intelligence now supports the existence of what many people call God.
He further alleged that this same intelligence possessed technology capable of facilitating communication between the living and the dead, though he stressed that such interactions were tightly constrained.
'They even have the means to communicate with their loved ones. It's not some parlour trick,' he claimed. 'They really have the means to do it. But there are forbidden questions that you can't ask about what happens after death.'
That restriction, Stone claimed, was not presented as a technical limitation but as an enforced boundary, one that prevented deeper inquiry into the nature of death itself.
He suggested that certain knowledge may either be dangerous, destabilizing or simply inaccessible to human understanding at this stage of development.
Lue Elizondo: UFO Files Contradict NASA’s Longstanding Claims
The delay of Phase 2 of the UAP files are fueling fresh claims that insiders are obstructing the White House’s transparency push

The White House’s UFO file release officially kicked off May 8; however, “believers” and lawmakers say the biggest bombshells are still hidden behind closed doors.
Earlier this month, the Trump administration launched a new federal portal dedicated to declassified UFO and UAP material, releasing more than 150 documents, military encounter reports, cockpit videos and intelligence files tied to unexplained aerial phenomena. While technically, there wasn’t any new information included, it signaled a step in the right direction in terms of transparency.
One prominent voice in the UFO transparency movement, Lue Elizondo, said the recent disclosure effort may not have delivered the “explosive revelations” many expected, but argued the release still marked a major turning point; particularly regarding NASA’s long-denied possession of historical UAP material connected to the Apollo missions. He pointed specifically to newly released lunar photographs and audio recordings, saying they appear to contradict decades of public statements from NASA claiming it held no significant UAP-related evidence in its archives.

NASA’s own UAP FAQ page and its 2023 UAP report rollout, read, “NASA does not actively search for UAP.” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson also stated in 2023, “The NASA independent study team did not find any evidence that UAP have an extraterrestrial origin…but we don’t know what these UAP are” while acknowledging the “global fascination.” The UFO files did, in fact, include UAP evidence in the NASA-labeled filings. Again, from audio recordings to testimony regarding UAP sightings from pilots and scientists in a UFO and Defense Report.
Elizondo, Former Director of AATIP, Disclosure and Transparency Advocate and author, told Los Angeles, “I was happy to see the Administration take this topic seriously and begin the process of increasing public transparency. Although some of the information may seem less than what was expected, of particular significance were the lunar photos taken by NASA during the Apollo missions. For decades NASA has said it had nothing related to UAP in its holdings and we now know that was not accurate. Between photographs and audio recordings, it’s apparent that NASA does have some historical information regarding UAP.”
The White House has called the rollout an “unprecedented step toward transparency.” But online speculation has now exploded over whether a much larger “Phase 2” disclosure is coming next.
“There’s definitely more coming,” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna previously indicated while pushing for the release of dozens of classified military UAP videos requested earlier this year by Congress. Those 46 videos, believed to include military encounters and infrared footage, were notably absent from the first batch of records released to the public. Luna had requested these videos from the Department of War’s Pete Hegseth in March, with an April 14 deadline. The deadline was missed due to an “administrative error,” and there has been no indication of when the videos will surface.
The initial disclosure dump included pilot sightings, Apollo-era transcripts, military reports describing strange “orb” activity, FBI memoranda and previously unseen footage involving unidentified objects near Japan and over the Pacific.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the administration wants Americans to have “unprecedented transparency” into decades of government-held UAP material, while White House officials insisted the public can now “make up their own minds.”
Still, UFO researchers and online sleuths quickly noticed many of the released documents had already circulated in fragments for years within the UFO community, claiming that the first rollout was more symbolic than revelatory.
The White House has not officially confirmed a “Phase 2” timeline, but lawmakers involved in the disclosure effort have suggested additional releases could occur within weeks. But does the President have the ability to release the classified information that could change the world? Elizondo isn’t so sure.

He suggested that any resistance to larger UAP disclosure efforts may be happening behind the scenes within the intelligence community; internal opposition could be slowing or obstructing the administration’s push for transparency despite public promises from the White House.
“As for the greater effort to release information, it appears elements within our intelligence community are very much resisting the President’s order and undermining the DNI. I remain hopeful; however, that the President’s will can overcome these roadblocks,” said Elizondo.
For now, the mystery appears far from over.
The McMinnville, Oregon UFO Festival
Dean Fassnidge, State Director, MUFON Oregon
The McMinnville, Oregon UFO Festival began in 2000 to commemorate an important event in local UFO history, the Trent farm photos. It is celebrated each year around the date of the sighting with parades, social events, and scientific presentations.
Speakers this year included Dr. Matthew Szydagis, Dr. Rebecca Charbonneau (SETI), Kelly
Chase, Jason Martell (Ancient Aliens), George Knapp, and Jeremy Corbell.

A little background history. It can be argued that the first documented UFO case in Oregon history is known as the Trent Sighting, occurring on May 11, 1950, above the Trent family farm located between McMinnville and Sheridan, Oregon.
Evelyn Trent observed a disc-shaped object maneuvering in the sky above their farm.
She alerted her husband, Paul, and they saw an object and estimated it to be about 20 to 30 feet in diameter. Paul went back into the house, grabbed his Kodak camera, and took two photographs before the object flew off to the west. Immediately, they alerted their in-laws, who lived next to the property, and their father-in-law observed the object as well.

Paul Trent initially thought it was a secret military aircraft and kept the sighting to himself. He finished his roll of film, containing previously taken pictures around the farm, including pictures of his family’s Mother’s Day picnic celebration.
This action in itself indirectly bolsters the legitimacy of the event, and that there was no intent to fabricate the images – they were in the middle of the film roll.
A month later, while talking with his banker, Frank Wortman, and encouraged by his brother Ralph, he mentioned the sighting and his photographs. Mr. Wortman was excited and displayed the photos in his bank’s window in McMinnville.
Shortly thereafter, local reporter Bill Powell convinced Trent to loan him the negatives and ran an article in the McMinnville Telephone-Register newspaper.

On June 9 and 10, 1950, The Oregonian published the photographs. On June 12, the story aired on national news broadcasts, followed by reprints of the photographs in the June 26 issue of Life magazine. The Trents were even flown to New York to appear on the television show, We The People.
Following this national exposure, an investigator from Project Blue Book came to the farm to interview the Trents, in addition to investigators from the FBI.
In 1969, as we know, the Air Force’s Condon Commission published a report, claiming an exhaustive UFO study, and easily dismissing many accounts. However, it was stated that the Trent photographs were “difficult to explain conventionally” and concluded that the photographs were genuine. Following the conclusion of the Condon report, the negatives were returned to UPI, and in 1970, they were sent back to the
News-Register (formerly the Telephone Register) in McMinnville. When they arrived back at the paper, 20 years later, the negatives had been tampered with considerably.
Someone had cropped the negatives, trimming down the edges and reducing their overall size so that parts of the original image were missing. Despite ongoing attempts by Philip Klass and others to debunk the photos, in 1975, Dr. Bruce Maccabee of MUFON, a renowned optical-photo analyst, made an intensive study of the negatives and concluded that they were not the result of some kind of trickery.
Interesting Side Note:
In 1999, a longtime resident of McMinnville saw the pictures and articles commemorating the Trent UFO sighting at the newly opened Hotel Oregon. Wishing to remain anonymous, she validated the sighting by telling her story. On May 11, 1950, she and a group of her fellow Linfield College students heard stories of a recent UFO encounter nearby. They went to the area of the present site of the McMinnville airport and saw dozens of cars pulled off the road, presently on Three Mile Lane. Following the direction people were looking, they too observed a “steel gray, metal saucer” floating just above tree level.
Their encounter went unreported.
Declassified UFO files: Video of Lake Huron encounter with F-16 near UP released by Pentagon
FOX 2 - The Pentagon's newest release on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Friday includes a mysterious incident over Lake Huron near Michigan's Upper Peninsula after a shoot-down a few years ago.
Timeline:
The revelation comes from a Feb. 12, 2023 incident which was part of a second set of declassified files.
A newly declassified video shown in infrared, depicts an object appearing to be a weather balloon shot down – moments before a bright white object appears to the right of the crosshairs.
The bright white object appears to float around the crosshairs on video before eventually disappearing.
In the declassified release, a 46-second video with redactions shows the encounter, labeled "USAF ANG F-16C [CALLSIGN] Shoots Down UAP over Lake Huron with [Weapon System], 12 Feb 2023," from an infrared sensor "aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the United States Northern Command area of responsibility in 2023."
"At the 11-second mark, the sensor focuses on an area of contrast in the center of its field-of-view," the video description says. "At the 20-second mark, the footage appears to depict a kinetic interaction between two distinct areas of contrast, with the initial subject of the footage fragmenting in a radial displacement pattern that suggests a high-energy event."
The file release does not speculate on the origin of the object, saying it was for informational purposes only.
Two screenshots of what appeared to be a balloon shot down in the moments before the bright object appeared:
Before and after pictures captured from DOD released video.
"Readers should not interpret any part of this description as reflecting an analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination regarding the described event’s validity, nature, or significance," the statement said.
More than 60 new files ranging from government documents, military surveillance videos and audio transcriptions of people reporting unexplained orbs, disc and fireballs. The review and declassification is being handled by the Department of Defense, with support from the Director of National Intelligence.
Most of the documents, videos and files are from unresolved cases, some previously released, with no definitive determination on the nature of what was observed.
Dig deeper:
The Feb. 12 incident happened amid a flap of weather balloon sightings, including one which was labeled a Chinese spy balloon shot down over the Atlantic Ocean.
The head of NORAD and U.S. Northern Command declined to give any details about what it was, but in retrospect was likely commenting on the balloon, and not the balloon-like object.
Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, the commander of the United States Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command, did not categorize those objects as balloons publicly at the time.
"I haven’t ruled out anything," VanHerck said at the time when asked if the objects could be aliens or something else extraterrestrial.

According to the general, an object was spotted on a radar in Canada the day before. That object then crossed into the U.S. and was spotted over Montana. However, the track was lost. An object spotted in Wisconsin was "likely" the same one as the one seen in Montana.

An unidentified object was shot down over Lake Huron on Sunday. It's the fourth object to be shot down by U.S. fighter jets in eight days.
VanHerck said the military prepared to engage the object and watched it pass over Lake Michigan before shooting it down over Lake Huron.
Ominously, in retrospect, when asked at the time if there are potentially more objects flying, VanHerck said "it’s certainly possible," but he could not confirm that.

Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day is still a few weeks away, but if you’ve been watching the news lately, the events it depicts might feel like they’re starting to unfold in real time.
In the legendary director’s latest sci-fi adventure, a whistleblower played by Josh O’Connor fights to reveal the truth about a decades-spanning alien cover-up. Meanwhile, just last week, a tranche of previously classified documents was released in response to President Trump’s directive for transparency on the subject of UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena).
Hundreds of files — including military incident reports, photos, videos, intelligence files, astronaut mission material, and historical sightings dating back to the 1940s — were made public through a new U.S. government portal called the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), hosted on the Department of War website.
Though the administration framed the move as a “maximum transparency” initiative rather than confirmation of extraterrestrials, many, including high-ranking officials and politicians on both sides of the aisle, are hailing it as proof that the government has been withholding information about UAP encounters.
"For decades, UFO disclosure has been a distant object — unidentified and unexplained," senate minority leader Chuck Schumer tweeted. "That’s starting to change. I’ll keep pushing until we land on the truth."
Dan Farah, who coincidentally produced Spielberg’s Ready Player One years before directing last year’s UAP exposé, The Age of Disclosure, says this is just the beginning.
Now Prime Video’s most-watched documentary, Age of Disclosure "opened a lot of eyes, not only in the public but inside government," Farah tells Entertainment Weekly.

The Age Of Disclosure/youtube
Exposing what he describes as an "80-year cover-up of the existence of non-human intelligent life," as well as "a high-stakes secret Cold War race" between the U.S. and "adversary nations to reverse engineer technology of non-human origin," the film featured interviews with 34 senior members of the U.S. legislative, military, and intelligence communities, including then-U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.
"Within three months," Farah says, the film’s release “straight up led to President Trump taking a legitimate historic, unprecedented action to declassify evidence that the U.S. government has of UAP and non-human intelligent life."
Below, Farah gives his reaction to the May 8 releases, including what he finds most compelling, what his sources in the government are telling him behind the scenes, and when we can expect more evidence to be brought forward.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: As you predicted in your film and in our previous interviews, the government has begun to release previously classified information on UAPs. Now that you’ve had a chance to go through everything, what's your reaction to what’s been unsealed?
DAN FARAH: When we made The Age of Disclosure, the hope of my interview subjects and me was that it would lead to a national conversation at an unprecedented level and cause the White House to take action. And that's exactly what happened. So I couldn't be prouder of the impact the film has had and this historic disclosure process that it's caused. It was less than a few months after the release of the movie that President Trump issued this historic presidential directive telling federal agencies to declassify evidence of non-human intelligent life and UAP, and that was followed by weeks of his senior cabinet members going to all the federal agencies and branches of the military and demanding that they turn over evidence that they have.
They got a lot of pushback from all the people who have been involved in covering this up, and they still have not gotten all the evidence they have been trying to get on behalf of the American people. But they did get some, and of that, they were able to comfortably declassify a number of UAP videos and images and files related to UAP that had been previously classified.
And you believe there’s more to come?
When they released this on May 8th, they made it clear that this was just the first tranche of evidence, and it would be a rolling disclosure process, a rolling declassification process of this evidence. And that's because their effort to get the evidence out of all these federal agencies and branches of the military is ongoing and active. And I know a number of senior cabinet members in the current administration are actively working on this on a weekly basis, even people who haven't publicly been associated with this topic. It's a huge priority for the White House. The goal of the film was to bring about mainstream disclosure and drive action by our government, and that's exactly what's happening, so I couldn't be prouder.
Do you feel public sentiment on UAPs has shifted?
I think the unjustified antiquated stigma that has historically surrounded this topic is dead and gone once and for all. I don't think any intelligent person is now questioning whether this is real, especially after watching The Age of Disclosure. And I think the White House's recent actions pushing disclosure forward also make it clear how real and serious this is.
:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():format(webp)/UAP-Apollo-17-mission-1972-051826-79ab65f5672440d2bea73c51ed65f5ec.jpg)
Department of War
What did you find most surprising in this first tranche?
I think, hands down, the most significant evidence released in that first tranche on May 8th is an image of what appears to be a triangle craft hovering over the moon during the 1972 Apollo mission. When I was making The Age of Disclosure, a number of high-level officials I interviewed told me they had seen that image but that it had never been released to the public, and they hoped it would eventually get out.
So when that was included in this first tranche of evidence, I thought that was pretty significant. Certainly, we are not aware of any human technology that should have been hovering over the moon watching the astronauts in 1972, right? It's pretty extraordinary. Additionally, several of the people in my film told me they investigated that image in their official capacities, and when you apply certain filters to that image, there are actually other objects in the same frame that you can't see with the naked eye.
What else stood out to you?
There was a lot of stuff in this. There were old memos, military memos that make it clear that this has been an issue going all the way back to the ‘40s. There are some significant internal military memos that were declassified acknowledging that this isn't manmade technology. But I certainly think the Apollo mission photo is super significant.
I've also been told by senior members of Congress who I've gotten close with that they have been helping the White House identify more evidence, and they're expecting around 40 more UAP videos to be released in the next few weeks.
:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():format(webp)/UAP-Apollo-12-landing-site-2-051826-889d55435a804c6185c3f43cb7d963b7.jpg)
Department of War
In the doc and in our previous conversations, you’ve described a “tug of war” behind the scenes, where certain members of the intelligence community, government, and military are fighting to keep these documents classified. Do you have hope that the most compelling evidence will be released to the public one day?
I know as a fact that the elements of the U.S. government that have been involved in gatekeeping this information for the past 80 years are aggressively pushing back against this presidential directive. They are actively fighting it. They do not want to turn over this evidence that they have been holding and gatekeeping. In fact, their goal is to put all this back in a box and bury it for another 80 years.
It's also notably a bipartisan effort. In Congress, it's Congresswoman [Anna Paulina] Luna, Congressman Eric Burlison, and Congressman [Tim] Burchett on the Republican side, and on the Democratic side, it's Congressman [Jared] Moskowitz and Congressman [André] Carson. In the U.S. Senate, it's Sen. Chuck Schumer, Sen. [Mike] Rounds, Sen. [Kristen] Gillibrand, and then you have the key members of the President's Cabinet all over this. So it's a really unique bipartisan effort at a senior level.
It's safe to say disclosure of UAP and non-human intelligent life has become a national priority.
:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():format(webp)/UAP-Apollo-12-landing-site-051826-86976af28470440bba32dc5ee8a62865.jpg)
Department of War
What would you say to skeptics who argue that some or all of the photos and videos in these files could have ordinary, terrestrial explanations?
Well, all the stuff that they released and labeled as UAP are UAP. They're unidentified anomalous phenomena. I also want to stress that what has been released publicly in this first tranche of evidence barely scratches the surface. That's just like one to 5 percent of the evidence that just a couple of federal agencies have shared. Not every federal agency has turned over the evidence they're supposed to. Not every branch of the military has turned it over. Almost all those documents come from just a couple of federal agencies.
Looking into your crystal ball, when do you think we might get incontrovertible evidence that aliens are among us?
I think the process has begun, and it's not reversible. I think the White House and Congress are gonna keep fighting their way to the most meaningful evidence, then declassify as much of it as they feel they can safely do without creating threats to national security. And I think we're gonna get to a point of the best evidence eventually being unveiled to the public, and I think we will also get to a point after that where we do finally see a sitting president step to the microphone and tell the world we're not alone in the universe.
Do you worry that the drip of information could turn people more skeptical?
I think we're past being concerned about people who can't accept reality, you know? That's like letting yourself worry about people who think the Earth is flat.
Anything else you want to share about these latest developments?
I'm really excited for Spielberg's new film Disclosure Day. I certainly would never have made The Age of Disclosure if not for the impact his work had on me. Close Encounters and E.T. are two of my favorite films since I was a child, and especially Close Encounters piqued my curiosity about this topic more than anything, and made me curious about those big questions like, Are we alone in the universe? Does the U.S. government, in fact, know more about this topic than the public does? — which is the common thesis in both E.T. and Close Encounters.

The Pentagon’s New UFO Files Include Fighter Jets, Orange Orbs, and a Lot of Grainy FootageA senior intelligence officer described a UFO encounter with a helicopter that allegedly left the crew “virtually speechless.”
The Pentagon released yet another batch of UFO files on Friday. Like the previous release, there’s some weird stuff in here, but not enough to make me question my existence or fear for my life.
This latest release includes 64 files in total: 6 PDFs, 7 audio files, and 51 (!!!) videos. The files that were made public are available via the Pentagon’s UFO website. So, what’s actually in this round? And is there anything worth going out of your way to check out?
Well, it’s jam-packed with a lot of grainy military footage. We’re talking about videos of various UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) captured by military aircraft and sensors. So if you like stuff like that, or miss playing the Nintendo Virtual Boy, this batch of alien stuff is very much for you.
Perhaps the most notable video appears to show a fighter jet shooting down an unidentified object over Lake Huron. That footage, captured in 2023, was recorded during the national balloon panic that followed the Chinese spy balloon drama. Reports suggest that the object may have been a balloon from a hobbyist group, which is pretty funny to think about.
There are more videos from 2018-2023, including some footage from around the Persian Gulf. One 2022 video shows multiple spherical objects moving in and out of the water near a military submarine. Of course, you’re left to your own thoughts and imagination as to what those spherical objects really are.
The strangest thing found in this release? A first-hand account from a senior intelligence officer who is still currently serving. In the report, the officer describes being aboard a military helicopter late last year while investigating UFO sightings. According to his account, the crew experienced several close encounters over the course of an hour and even saw countless orange orbs moving around a mountain.
At one point, two large, orange, oval-shaped orbs with bright centers appeared near the helicopter, just above the rotor disk. The officer claims that he and the crew were left “virtually speechless” by the encounter.
Sadly, there is no hard evidence in this batch of files that aliens exist or are currently living among us. But if you’re looking for a dumb distraction from all of the real nonsense going on in the world, the Pentagon’s official UFO website is where the government wants you to go.

Extraordinary fireball during tense final maneuvers of SpaceX Starship that is set to carry men to moon
The largest and most powerful rocket in history exploded in a massive fireball after its successful test flight around the Earth Friday night.
Elon Musk's SpaceX declared the launch of Starship 12 a success and noted that the space capsule's explosion in the Indian Ocean was planned as the aerospace company did not plan to reuse the experimental craft.
Starship Flight 12 took off from SpaceX's launching pad in Starbase, Texas Friday night as the company began critical trials before NASA uses this third version of Starship to take astronauts to the moon and beyond.
While the craft successfully made it into space, the launch was not perfect, as Starship lost the use of one of its six new 'Raptor' engines. It was forced to burn its remaining five engines longer to compensate.
However, the unmanned rocket was still able to complete most of its planned mission, successfully surviving reentry and completing its landing maneuvers before splashing down in the ocean and erupting into a ball of flame.
Flight 12 tested Version 3 of Starship, the company's latest design which featured several improvements based on lessons from earlier test flights, including more efficient and powerful Raptor 3 engines, better fuel systems and more heat protection.
Musk and his team are eyeing this version of Starship as the one NASA astronauts will use as their lunar lander for the Artemis program. It will carry astronauts to the moon’s surface as soon as 2028 when Artemis IV is scheduled to take off.
SpaceX’s long-term dream for Starship V3 is to send both humans and cargo to Mars to build the first self-sustaining city on the Red Planet. Starship was designed to be refueled in orbit so it can make the long journey to Mars.

SpaceX Starship 12, the company's third version of the craft, launched successfully at 6.30pm ET on May 22

As planned, Starship 12 exploded once it touched down in the Indian Ocean 66 minutes after launching from Starbase, Texas
Friday's test flight was a suborbital mission, meaning it did not go into full orbit, and was said by SpaceX to be the first pivotal step in testing how the new Starship's hardware behaves under real flight conditions.
Starship 12 featured two key parts, the 'Super Heavy,' the bottom booster stage with 33 powerful Raptor engines, and the Starship, the upper part sitting on top of the booster that has its own engines. The spacecraft is what would carry astronauts to space.
Overall, the rocket stood as tall as a 50-story building, making it the biggest and most powerful rocket in history.
After a successful liftoff from Starbase, Texas at 6.30pm ET, the Super Heavy booster separated after a few minutes of flight, conducted a 'boostback' burn to slow itself down and then performed a landing burn to splash down gently in the Gulf of America.
Unlike previous SpaceX missions, this rocket booster did not try to land back at the launch site as the company's other reusable rockets have.
Meanwhile, the upper Starship stage continued into space, where it successfully deployed 22 dummy Starlink satellites 20 minutes into the flight.
Cameras inside the craft captured the moment as each communications panel slid out of the cargo hatch and was sent off into orbit as the SpaceX crew back on Earth cheered and chanted 'USA' from the company's control center in Texas.
SpaceX did note during the flight that a scheduled restart of one of the craft's engines while in space was cancelled due to the loss of one of Starship's six engines during launch.

Pictured: SpaceX tests Starship's heat shields during reentry maneuvers on May 22

SpaceX had planned for Starship 12 to be destroyed on reentry as they stressed the craft's heat shields, but the rocket survived and exploded once landing in the Indian Ocean
Flight 12 made it through Earth's atmosphere intact despite SpaceX testing its heat shields by deliberately removing one panel to see how the craft would hold up under such stress.
Despite the stress, cameras captured the moment the rocket passed through the atmosphere without burning up and then adjusted its course to reach its final landing spot in the Indian Ocean. The whole flight took just over 66 minutes.
Starship 12 was initially set to launch on Thursday, but the mission was postponed after several attempts to fix a mechanical issue just 40 seconds from takeoff.
Musk revealed after the failed attempt that a hydraulic pin holding the tower arm in place did not retract from the craft.
