ALIEN CLOSE ENCOUNTER IN VIRGINIA INVESTIGATED

 Called one of the most interesting cases he has ever worked on by one of the investigators, the story of the “Virginia Giant” is actually a nickname for a pair of sightings, one of them involving an occupant, which occurred in late May 1971 outside a small rural Virginia community located near Fredericksburg.  According to investigators John Carlson and Bruce Maccabee, who until recently were still gathering data about the alleged sightings, the case was hampered by the very attitude that made this “occupant” case such an interesting one — the family’s strong desire to avoid publicity — a characteristic not always present in cases involving an “occupant.”  It was a dark, cloudy night that three boys and a German Shepherd had picked to camp out in a nearby field. Two of the youths had decided to investigate the sound of a car horn heard in the distance while the third youth and his dog “Lucky” decided to stay behind.  Walking through the large, open field, the third boy noted that he had a strange feeling that something was behind him. He turned but saw nothing. Moments later he turned again and observed a glowing “thing” over a pond located in the open field.  The object moved slowly from its position over the pond and moved towards the youth, finally stopping near the youth, and slowly settled to the ground. Before completing its descent, the object, according to the youth, extended “legs” from its underside.  After the craft landed, a door opened straight down toward him and a “man” walked out. According to the witness’s description, the creature was “powerfully huge,” had long arms and was shiny in appearance. In one hand it carried a “glowing box.”  The creature looked around, then started moving in the youth’s direction, who by this time was crouching in the tall grass. The witness’s dog allegedly snarled at the “occupant” and began to approach it. The creature turned around in a “stiff, bouncing fashion” and returned to his craft. The door of the craft closed and about ten minutes later the craft “just lifted off.” 

The witness was found a few minutes later still crouched in the grass and apparently in shock by his two fellow campers. The witness told his companions of his encounter and all three quickly returned to their homes.  Two nights later another sighting occurred in the same vicinity. While the second sighting did not involve an occupant, it did add credence to the first sighting, according to the investigators, because of the large number of witnesses and the similarities in description of the UFO.  Two sisters of the youth who reported the “occupant” were returning home from a night class along the family’s long, winding driveway when they became aware of a humming sound and red lights apparently coming from above their car.  Almost immediately, according to NICAP’s file on the case, the car’s engine stalled, the headlights went out, and the car radio went off. From inside the car the girls said they could see a disc-shaped, glowing white object hovering approximately 50 feet above their tree-lined driveway. After about five minutes the girls were able to start the car and race the remaining few yards towards home — as they did, the craft continued to follow them.  Attracted outside by the sounds of a car racing up the driveway, two brothers rushed outside to investigate and observed a “gigantic saucer-shaped thing” following their sister’s car up the driveway. The object followed the car up to the house and continued to hover above it for a few minutes before finally drifting off and out of sight over the horizon. – NICAP (1971)

Florida witness describes hovering boomerang-shaped UFO

A Florida witness at Palm Harbor reported watching a hovering, boomerang-shaped UFO with three bright white lights, according to testimony in Case 63122 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and his wife as a passenger were driving northbound along East Lake Road and approaching a stop light when the object was first seen on February 5, 2015.

“I looked up at approximately 70 degrees and noticed a series of three bright, white lights,” the witness stated. “There were no red aircraft lights.”

As the witness vehicle moved toward the object, trees obstructed their view. But another 40 yards later, they saw the object again.

“The object reappeared approximately at the same location where it was first sighted, indicating it had not moved from the point where it was first sighted 10 seconds before.”

The object again seemed to be hovering in a stationary position in the sky under 500 feet and less than 500 feet from the witness.

“There were no flashing or colored lights. There was no fuselage, only a boomerang-shaped wing with a white light at the apex and one on each wing tip.”

The witness moved when the light changed and they circled back in about three minutes only to see that the object was gone.

“I probably could have subtended the object with my extended hand. This is not a familiar flight path. It was dark except for street lights and a full moon which did not interfere with the sighting, however, it may have served to back light the object and make the silhouette of the wing easy to see. The lights were large in proportion to the actual wing they appeared affixed to, making the proportions different than a passing aircraft. It was over in about 10 seconds or less, but it was really cool.”

Palm Harbor is a community in Pinellas County, Florida, population 57,439.

Florida is currently a UFO Alert Level 5 – with 1.92 sightings per million population based on MUFON January 2015 statistics. Florida received a total of 37 UFO reports in January.

The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 – 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 – 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 – 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5.

Obama advisor still frustrated by his inability to force UFO file disclosure

John Podesta has concluded his service as Counselor to President Barack Obama.

In January 2015, he announced that he would be stepping down from his White House position to work with Hillary Clinton on what many suspect to be a presidential campaign.

On Friday, February 13, Podesta posted on Twitter, “My last day as Counselor to President Obama. It’s been a tremendous privilege to serve a great President and the country for this last year.” But, more interesting is his Tweet that reveals his “biggest failure of 2014,” which he says was “not securing the disclosure of the UFO files.”

Podesta is a known sci-fi enthusiast and big fan of the TV show The X-Files. But his interest in the UFO subject goes beyond simple sci-fi TV show fandom.

He served as Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff, and was charged by the administration with the task of declassifying millions of government documents. Podesta even spoke at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC about the importance of declassifying UFO files. He stated, “It is time for the government to declassify records that are more than 25 years old, and to provide scientists with data that will assist in determining the real nature of this phenomenon.”

Although Podesta’s Twitter post about his inability to force UFO disclosure being his “biggest failure” was likely made in jest, he remains a proponent of government disclosure. After trying with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, maybe he’ll have more luck under Hillary’s administration.

Aliens Created Life On Earth, UK Scientists Say

A minuscule metal object was discovered by a team of researchers at the University of Buckingham and say that it is of alien origin and may be a micro-organism deliberately sent by extraterrestrials to create life on earth. 

The Huffington Post reports:

“One theory is it was sent to Earth by some unknown civilization in order to continue seeding the planet with life,” Wainwright hypothesizes.

“This seeming piece of science fiction — called ‘directed panspermia’ — would probably not be taken seriously by any scientist were it not for the fact that it was very seriously suggested by the Nobel Prize winner of DNA fame, Francis Crick,” said Wainwright.

Panspermia is a theory that suggests life spreads across the known physical universe, hitchhiking on comets or meteorites.

The idea of directed panspermia was suggested by Crick, a molecular biologist, who was the co-discoverer of the structure of DNA in 1953. Twenty years later, Crick co-wrote — with biochemist Leslie Orgel — a scientific paper about directed panspermia.

The abstract of their manuscript states:

• It now seems unlikely that extraterrestrial living organisms could have reached the Earth either as spores driven by the radiation pressure from another star or as living organisms imbedded in a meteorite. As an alternative to these nineteenth-century mechanisms, we have considered Directed Panspermia, the theory that organisms were deliberately transmitted to the Earth by intelligent beings on another planet.
• We conclude that it is possible that life reached the Earth in this way, but that the scientific evidence is inadequate at the present time to say anything about the probability. We draw attention to the kinds of evidence that might throw additional light on the topic.

In contrast to what Crick-Orgel speculated about in 1973, four decades later, a team of scientists, led by astronomer-astrobiologist Chandra Wickramasinghe of the Buckingham Center for Astrobiology, announced they had found fossils with biological properties attached to a meteorite (check out the slideshow at the bottom of this story) that fell in Sri Lanka.

Of course, these controversial claims bring forth the skeptical side of science.

In the case of the meteorite fossils, astronomer Phil Plait wrote that the scientists didn’t do a good enough job convincing him there were actual fossils in that meteorite. Wainwright and his team launched balloons nearly 17 miles into Earth’s stratosphere, and when they examined the material collected by one of the balloons (like the one pictured below), they discovered a small crash mark which indicated to them that the microscopic, circular object didn’t simply land softly.

“On hitting the stratosphere sampler, the sphere made an impact crater, a minute version of the huge impact crater on Earth caused by the asteroid said to have killed off the dinosaurs,” Wainwright said.

Even with this more recent discovery of a tiny globe found lodged into a high-flying balloon, the alien space seed proponents know they have a long way to go before that can be proven and accepted by the scientific community.

“Unless, of course, we can find details of the civilization that is supposed to have sent it in this respect, it is probably an unprovable theory,” Wainwright conceded.

De civiele bescherming van Auckland stuurde na het fenomeen omstreeks 22 uur deze tweet de wereld in: "De flits vanavond was zeker geen bliksem, hoogstwaarschijnlijk een meteoor." Astronoom Grant Christie vermoedt dat de vallende ster op ongeveer 30 kilometer boven onze aardbol uit elkaar spatte.

Stephen Hawking Says Alien Contact Could Lead To Catastrophe

Scientists have received a warning from Stephen William Hawking against their attempts to contact aliens and let them know that humans are here on Earth.

Efforts to beam messages from Earth have intensified in recent years in the hope to finally make contact with other intelligent beings from another planet. But renowned physicist Hawking doesn’t in favor on these attempts saying that it could result in a catastrophic event.

Hawking stressed that the alien visitation on Earth would be much like when Columbus came to America, which did more harm than good to Natives.

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute in California has been using the most advanced telescopes to send data to nearby planets and stars.

Science advisor in the box office hit film Battleship, Seth Shostak of SETI, said that they have plans to pick star systems within 20 light years. However, NASA consultant and American scientist David Brin has issued a caution saying that the contact would inevitably transform human destiny and that the attempts should only be done if the whole world is on the same page.

John Podesta’s top regret on leaving the White House is he didn’t reveal the truth about UFOs

John Podesta, former senior advisor to Barack Obama, former Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton, and future chair of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is offering some reflections on his most recent stint in the White House.

Number one on the list — aliens:

Podesta was out of the big time politics game briefly early in the Bush years, and lent his considerable prestige to a coalition pushing the oddball cause of greater disclosure of federal information about UFOs:

Soon afterwards, he founded the Center for American Progress which quickly emerged as a key pillar of center-left infrastructure in Washington. I worked for a while at CAP, and can testify that while there were a lot of in-house jokes about Podesta and UFOs (including an alien-themed holiday party one December) there was approximately zero institutional effort expended on the cause.

But in a personal capacity, Podesta continued to lend a hand. He participated in a couple of UFO-themed TV shows and wrote the forward to a book about UFOs that was published in 2010.

Then he went back to the White House where, once again, there was no progress on the UFO disclosure front. It’s genuinely too bad. As a former Chief of Staff, Podesta presumably has had access to highly classified information and knows what he’s talking about when he says the public deserves to know what’s in these files. I hope — though I don’t actually expect — that he’ll use his influence in the emerging Clinton campaign to push this in a more serious way.

Lockheed Martin scientist says there really are aliens and UFOs at Area 51

A senior scientist at Lockheed Martin says there are aliens and UFOs at Area 51, and he has the pictures to prove it. However, serious doubt has been cast on the alleged alien in pictures.

Boyd Bushman worked as an engineer for over forty years, and before retirement, worked as a senior scientist for Lockheed Martin. Over the years he has done several interviews about his interest in antigravity technology, and has increasingly alluded to having secret knowledge about UFOs. His latest interview (seen above) was purportedly conducted just before his death on August 7, 2014. It was posted on YouTube on October 8.

I have been following Bushman for several years, my curiosity about Bushman was piqued in 1999 when he appeared on a Discovery Channel documentary about secret aircraft technology hosted by Nick Cook, author and writer for Jane’s Defence. My interest increased when I received an alleged polygraph test taken by Bushman in which he admitted to having worked with alien technology at Area 51.

Cook’s documentary was titled Billion Dollar Secret, and was an investigation of black projects. Towards the end he speculates about antigravity, but said he could not find any defense companies claiming to be working on it. However, there was one engineer willing to talk to him about antigravity technology. That was Bushman. In the documentary, Cook says of Bushman: “In the quest for breakthroughs in aircraft propulsion, it was Bushman’s job to look beyond the frontiers of what is known and understood.”

Bushman is vague in the interview. Cook speculated, “I felt he was trying to tell me something he was not supposed to talk about.”

Eventually, Bushman talks about his personal interest in antigravity, and in particular the work of Canadian researcher John Hutchison. He even showed Cook video of what he believed to be antigravity technology at work.

Cook said, “I was astounded that someone of Bushman’s standing should seriously discuss the notion of antigravity with me.”

I found the documentary fascinating. I never forgot Bushman’s comments, but I heard nothing more about him for several years. Then, in 2007, he showed up in a somewhat obscure documentary by David Sereda titled From Here to Andromeda. In it, Bushman discusses more of his ideas about UFOs and antigravity.

Bushman talks about his antigravity experiments and he refers to Bob Lazar, the original Area 51 whistleblower who claims to have worked on a project back engineering alien spacecraft. Bushman says he received Lazar’s tapes from the “white world,” so he can share them. He doesn’t go into any more detail.

Lazar’s interviews, and a video he made outlining the technology he worked on, can be found on YouTube. So Bushman does not allude to having any inside information. He also says many UFOs were actually high tech secret aircraft. However, towards the end of the interview he claims to know a jet fighter pilot that claims to have been the person who shot down the Roswell spacecraft. He says this person saw the dead aliens and walked into the spaceship.

In early 2008, Bushman’s name came up in conversation with a UFO researcher I was working with. She said she knew him and that he had recently taken a polygraph test in which he admitted to have worked with antigravity at Area 51, had worked on alien technologies, had examined an alien spacecraft, and had even touched an alien life form. He also said he knew Lazar.

She forwarded me an email she had received from Bushman with the polygraph results, and said it was OK for me to contact him and ask if I could share it. I sent him an email, explaining that I had seen his interviews and that I had received a copy of his polygraph test. I explained that I was working with MUFON, at the time, and that I would like to work with him to present more of this information in a manner he found suitable. His response was, “WHEN AND CONSULTING FEE?”

I replied that I was planning on sharing the interview via YouTube for free, but if he let me know what he needed I could see if I could work it out. There was no response. I then emailed him the polygraph test, and asked if it was real. I figured if nothing else, he could hopefully verify that. Again, there was no response.

Since I had not received permission, nor had I verified whether or not it was real, I never posted the polygraph test. I had sent it to researchers I trusted for their opinions, and asked them not to share it until I received permission. Although we have discussed it periodically over the years, none of us have shared it yet. However, now that he has passed, and he has done this new interview,  I will post the polygraph at the end of this story in its entirety.

I believe the person who sent me the polygraph test to be a trust worthy person. I believe she really did receive it from Bushman. Whether or not it is real, I cannot say. The claims in the polygraph test are startling. However, as Bushman revealed more information over the years, the information did not remain consistent.

That brings us to the most recent video (seen at the top of the story). In this new video, which is being called his last, his story is a bit different than what is in the polygraph test. In the video, he does not claim to have direct contact with the alleged alien related projects, but instead he says he is working with a team at Area 51.

Bushman says he is in “contact directly or indirectly with Teller and his group running Area 51 and the equivalent.” Another vague statement which does not admit to being in direct contact, and it also suggests that some of this alleged work is in a facility “equivalent” to Area 51.

Either way, Bushman presents UFO photos he has received, some of which are ships that are purportedly very near the photographer, but are difficult to make out. He shows a picture of an out of focus light that he says is what the craft look like when they “power up.”

Bushman says, “I asked them to tell me about who is flying these things, and they said ‘Fine.'” He then presents a series of photographs of an alleged alien being. It looks like what one would expect an alien to look like, with a big head and big eyes. He says they have five fingers, five toes, two eyes, and webbed feet.

He explained, “They are approximately five feet, four and a half to five feet tall. They had one or two of them that were around that were 230 years old. And we have a total of at least 18 that exist and operate in our facility as Teller set it up.”

However, there is a problem with the pictures that was actually identified years ago. These pictures were first posted by Hutchison, the antigravity researcher in Canada that Bushman referred to in the Cook interview. Hutchinson posted them in 2008 (seen in the video below), and says he received them anonymously by a man he believed to be in the CIA.

Quickly, several people identified the images as looking like an alien doll that was sold at Kmart. Many of these people have posted their pictures online. It does look like the same alien.

At least a couple people have suggested that perhaps the government made a doll to sell in Kmart that looked exactly like the real alien in order to shed doubt. A bit of a stretch. Others still insist that although the doll looks very similar, it is not exact, and so the alien in the picture may still be real. Take a look and see what you think.

The other problem is that these pictures supposedly came from Bushman’s insiders, but they actually came from Hutchison. Hutchison is by no means an insider, and the alien in the pictures actually turning out to be a doll sold at Kmart further emphasizes that point.

Bushman goes on to reveal more information about the aliens. He says there are two groups. One he likens to cattle wrestlers, and the other cattle rustlers. The prior are good and get along with humans, the later not so much.

He even shows a picture of what he believes to be an alien ghost. Supposedly one of the aliens died, and the man who told him this story took a picture of himself in which the alien spirit appeared.

Bushman goes on to tell the story of his friend who shot down an alien craft and stepped inside, but he says more often than not, working with alien technology is dangerous for humans. Bushman says 39 people have lost their lives trying to reverse engineer UFOs. 19 of those was during a test of the technology a year and a half ago. Although, he is a little bit vague about the details. He says, “They wanted to bring various flying craft near the UFO, and the UFO defended itself. And 19 of our people died.”

Like so many stories in the UFO field, Bushman’s is enigmatic. The whole affair could easily be written off as the delusional ramblings of an old man. The only thing that causes one to pause is Bushman’s background. Why would a high level scientist begin making up such wild stories? Did he actually work with Teller, and did he ever really go to Area 51? Or were these all tall tales told to him that he believed wholeheartedly?

Now that Bushman has passed we may never know.

Arizona Triangle

Tempe — A strange triangular object was seen over Sky Harbor Airport on February 1, 2015.  I am a graphic designer and my mother a pilot also saw it.  I noticed a curious-looking craft flying silently above of the full moon about 8,000 feet a mile east of me during the Super bowl at 7:40 PM.  It had one white-slightly yellow light on the bottom of it. This orange light appeared to illuminate the triangular structure of the craft. There were no navigation lights as it made a sharp 90 degree turn  from north to west in seconds. A commercial jet would’ve been torn apart if it made a turn like that at that speed.
I heard the thunderous sound of jet engines from behind and two military jets flew over 15 seconds behind the triangle. They were flying aggressively west in pursuit of the object, but could not make nearly as sharp a turn.

I became extremely excited and frantic and called my mother, who came outside to witness the aerial pursuit as all three flew west towards NFL Super Bowl game. The fighters lit their afterburners as we watched all three craft until they were out of view. We feel the jets had been scrambled to intercept this object. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Blue Lights

Torrance – On February 5, 2015, I went out to my balcony to get some air and was looking west when I saw two blue pulsating orbs move up to 300 feet. Hover then descended down. I observed them doing this for about 10 minutes.

They did this three times in the course of 10 minutes. It looked close to the Redondo Beach Pier. As they went up and hovered they also changed direction and flew north just a bit then went up higher then descended.

They were a bright blue and I have photos from my iPhone and a video.

Colorado Light

Denver – I was sitting in the back yard around 10:40 Pm, on a nice clear night on February 7, 2015, and was going to take a picture of the full moon. When I looked through my camera phone I saw this enormous bright ball by the moon. The naked eye couldn’t see it but my cell phone was able to pick it up, it stayed there for close to two hours in the same position, I called my friend who lives across town and he was also able to only see it with a camera. I have never seen anything this big and was real, please see the pictures.

Florida Light

Miami — Around 1AM, my brother called me to see a really bright yellow-orange star on February 1, 2015. It moved in a circular motion like a helicopter and circled to where it was, and then just took off in ways aircraft can’t move. My brother thinks it might have been an alien space craft. But I am not sure. It looked like it was over where the drug dealer’s mansions are located and flew away. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Illinois Orb

Oak Lawn – I was leaving my brother’s house just after midnight near Midway Airport and saw 7 orbs like lights on February 8, 2015, and was able to capture one. I looked up and saw three weird orange like lights headed northeast that were lower than normal planes. When I looked at them it reflected a triangular light back at me.

They moved very fast and swerved around as they moved in the general direction they were heading. So the first set came in 3 then the next 4 came in sets of 2 not far off of the others. I have some video and pictures which is not very good.  I could not tell if I was getting it because the phone screen was black. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Kansas Cylinder

Hanson / Burdett  —  I am an attack helicopter repair crewman, 15R in the Army I was leaving town via the south bridge when I noticed a pair of cylindrical objects, dark in color and lacking identifying features, flew overhead. They were at high altitude heading at 65 degrees covering an estimated 15 miles in 30 seconds. This is verified by another eyewitness who claimed they turned nearly above his town. These objects distinctly lacked wings or rotors and moved silently. The objects altered direction to heading 180 (south). Doubling their speed, they exited the airspace and were gone roughly a minute after they turned. The maneuverability entirely ruled out fixed wing aircraft, and its speed ruled out rotor wing units. Air traffic increased during the next three hours including three CH-47s and seven UH-60s that followed the craft.

The local radar tower had a radar signature that registered intermittently and signs characteristic of being electronically jammed. The radar operator was visited by the FBI demanding information about the sighting. It became apparent that cattle were missing from two owners, who lost two each.  Louisiana Strange Alien Craft

 Mandeville — I was driving east on I-12 when I noticed a small airplane making a very sharp turn at low altitude on January 24, 2015 6:26 PM. When I looked for the plane a second time, I noticed a chrome object in the sky hovering about 1,000 feet above the next interstate exit.  As I got closer, the hovering object had lowered a chrome tether about 300 feet long with a small orb moving around the larger object.

I stopped at the exit and observed the object still about 800 to 1000 feet above me.  After five minutes the object retracked the chrome tether and moved east increasing speed and was out of sight in less than 1 second.  I called the National Weather Service, New Orleans and local airport in Slidell. No one reported any pilot’s or radar sighting. This was not a plane or a weather balloon.  It defied gravity without wings or noise from engines. New Jersey UFO that Went Behind the Moon

 Delanco – I looked up in sky while taking the dog out on February 4, 2015. I could see the object was too high to be plane and flew behind the moon. It kept flying and you could see its lights were pretty and it was going moderately fast but sideways. It had red and white lights and I remember it going behind the moon then disappears. It was leaving a trail behind it.  I saw ufos before when I was kid in Texas so I realized this was another sighting with the same white and red lights on it. Thanks to MUFON Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Mexico

Deming — I am a truck driver I was westbound on Interstate 10 and saw what I believe to be the border patrol blimp in the distance and took a picture and captured an image on February 9, 2015. Within 20 seconds I took a second photo of the same area and the object did not appear in the second photograph.

Twenty minutes later I observed the object again however this time it was much closer and not a light but an actual vehicle. I took two pictures of it but it did not appear in either one of the pictures.

North Carolina Lights

Greensboro – On February 3, 2015, I was taking a couple of shots of the huge moon and when I looked at the pictures there were these light orbs. They are not refracted light and in the second shot they have moved away in a path. I took the photos myself only seconds apart and in the short amount of time the crafts moved a pretty good distance.

They are not water droplets because I took the photos with my iPhone 6 plus that was not wet or anything. They are not planets or starts of headlights these craft are invisible to the naked eye and can only be caught with a camera.

I am baffled as to what they are and why are they here? Thanks to MUFON CMS

Columbus – While driving home from dinner with a friend a very odd object with three lights was observed on January 24, 2015.

Then from the one object three more appeared; then it went back to four.  I was very startled but memorized by what it was and took this photo. Something similar to what everybody saw over Phoenix.

Oregon Hot Metal

Portland — I found a report of a disc seen over Portland in 1971 which has a witness testimony that matches mine almost verbatim! I am convinced we have both seen the same craft. What’s more interesting is the sightings are 41 years apart. This means the craft have been visiting us more than once over a long period of time! Pennsylvania Orbs

Philadelphia – On the morning of December 13, 2014, just before 8 am, I pulled up the blinds and saw a beautiful moon outside and immediately got my camera to take photos. Suddenly, I noticed something strange; it looked like a strand of metallic pearls. I had seen something similar before about 10 years ago but never had a chance to take a picture. My daughter and I researched “string of pearls” and came up with results suggesting UFOs. Upon zooming the photo in, I realized that it was a string of about 26 orb-like lights.

I enjoy bird watching and taking photos of the nature outside around this time.
When I initially noticed the object, I was baffled. The object was a long string of orb-like lights (initially metallic and then emitting a glowing whitish light) traveling at a slow and stead pace straight up into the sky. Secierviille — I got up to go to work and decided to take a picture of the sunrise on February 4, 2015.  I took the first pictures driving downhill from my house. Then when I got to the main road I took three more pictures when I was on road.

I stopped my truck to take the picture then two more pictures one minute later when I stoppd at the traffic light. The sun was on my left when I noticed the orb.

After I took the picture and I posted on Face book I noticed the blue- green orb that was on the right that looks like it was moving left to get away.

Texas Object

 Cornudas – Next to El Paso in a small town in the south part of subdivision over big Ben Trail Mountain I experience many UFO sightings radiation at night sparks and electric statics every night. They fly and fight in the sky literally war in the sky I found big steps with small foot prints on the ground. My wife a non believer became a terrified believer one night while in deep sleep. I tossed and turned and got up and open the door and I was blinded by a sun like light 200 – 300 feet away.

I went back to sleep disoriented and in the morning I realized I had an encounter.   I  prayed for help and looking up at the sky I saw  a round floating transparent ball that turned into a disk shape to a glowing purple blue red orange ball. I found a UFO crash site about 4000 feet from my property in Sunset Ranches, Texas. Maybe you guys can get to it before the government can get to it. I was going to keep it a secret, but I would be doing the same as the government. They seem to have led me to move there and follow me. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Lights

Kalama – My mom, and I were driving north on I-5 to Castle Rock on January 31, 2015.  It was about 7 PM when I noticed a really bright “Star” on the horizon to the east, only far too low for such intense lighting. We have seen UFOs quite often in this area, actually. It was stationary. About a mile down the road I pulled over and parked. We sat watching for 15 minutes as it emitted different colors of lighting. I took pictures of it with a Samsung Galaxy S5 Smart Phone. I took five 5 pictures and the camera malfunctioned.

It started working normally again three minutes later. When we got home I blew the images up and more show up in these pictures. I was amazed to say the least. I added another two pictures of a different object observed two days prior. Thanks to MUFON CMS

West Virginia Triangle

 Weston – I was on a trip to and we stopped in Weston to show my friend the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum on February 1, 2015. As my friend and I were driving around taking pictures I took this shot by chance.

I didn’t notice it until this morning when I blew up this picture to look at the building a little better. I don’t know what it is. It could be dirt on my windshield because I shot through it. But it kind of looks like it could be above the contrail it is flying through. I would like to know what you think.

I also think it could be military because we have jets and drones that are shaped like that.

 Inwood — Apparently the WV Air National Guard may have scrambled aircraft after this craft. A similar craft was sighted by over 100 witnesses in the same area about one month ago.

My report contains the video, the above photo and an audio recording of the witness. Of course the debunkers will say that this was a drone.

Drones have replaced Venus and weather balloons as the explanation for all UFO reports!

Australia Disc

Melbourne – This white disk was seen over Australia on February 5, 2015, with a classic disk shape that attempts to mimic a cloud. At one point it looks like a triangle craft, but I don’t believe its changing shape. Rather, it is turning and showing us different angles of itself.

The camera has trouble focusing on this, so the blur makes it look like its changing shape. That is not so. The shape never changes. A great catch by Brad Morris of YouTube. SCW

Brazil Cloud Ball

 Avare – On January 31, 2015, t witness describes a fast moving object.
Notice the softness of a cloud forming around it. This is a cloud orb, but caught in a sky with few clouds making an easy catch.

Canada Metallic Object

Surrey B.C. — I was riding my bike from 72^nd Avenue onto 144th Street when I looked up in the sky I was shocked to see this huge silver metallic object hovering over head on August 20, 2014. It was as big as three foot ball fields (900 feet) and I was feeling scared right after the experience. The ufo hovered over the trees and then disappeared without a trace. It was so big that I could see the under carriage of the UFO. I was scared because in 2013, I had experienced really bright light engulfing the whole door in the middle of the day with white light. At the bottom of the closed door was two foot shadows. I grabbed my Samurai Sword and stood my ground and opened the door but nothing was there. I looked all over the house but no one inside the house other then myself. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Scarborough – I witnessed three separate daylight sightings during January for first time. On January 14^th 2015, I stepped outside at work for my morning break at 10 am, and saw a very high white glinting light. It looked almost stationary appearing and disappearing every couple of seconds at 10,000 feet + so, I began to take pictures but within a minute it was gone! I kept watching and at a thousand feet I saw and filmed another white transparent oval that was rocking left to right continuously, almost like vibrating. Suddenly there was a loud horn from a truck behind me. So I turned around to look at the commotion and when I looked up it was gone.  Later I had a strong feeling and urged a coworker to come outside with me.  Facing east, I noticed a bright white roundish white light at 3:11 pm, heading south towards Lake Ontario. It was directly over us fifty yards away at a thousand feet or less. Immediately I started to film but he could not see it at first until I pointed it out to him.  It moved south about 70 MPH into the clouds.

The first two sightings were near stationary while the third was ‘moving‘near a straight flight path. I was quite astonished having that feeling again in seeing three separate UFO sightings in one day. Cuba Lights

 Guantanamo – I was sent this photo from a friend that does contractual work at Guantanamo prison on January 15, 2015.  This photo was taken last month as the sun was setting. He sent it to me and removed it from his phone before they went through the clearance area.

Apparently they see these things all the time, and this silent object was moving about three miles away very fast and surrounded by a helix form around the outside. Apparently they see these things literally every day down there. So you guys get the photo and he can keep his job. Thanks to MUFON CMS

France Air Show

Paris Air show — Looking at this Air show footage it’s easy to miss the UFO in all the awesome shots of these jets on January 13, 2015. But at 2:47 into the video you will see the UFO move from left to right of the screen. It is long and small and thin.

This object comes extremely close to the jet, threatening the safety of the craft. The pilot seems oblivious of the UFO, because of its incredible speed.

Tepotzotian – On February 2, 2015, this photo was taken of a classic UFO, the type often seen in photos of 1950-60 reports.

This one has several layers, two on the top and two on the bottom.

It’s difficult to make out the size, but probably has only 2-3 occupants or could be a drone. It is strange how UFOs frequent Mexico more than the rest of the world.

Gampaha Yamaha – On August 21, 2011 after getting my dinner I looked at sky and saw a UFO at about 8 pm in the southern sky. I saw a star like thing blinking very rapidly and noticed it moving here and there. Sometimes it glows very brightly with rapidly changing blue, red, and white lights. I shouted for my family to come and they were excited seeing the object. I got my digital camera and took lots of photos, but only few captured the object. This object flew up and down, right and left in a random manner. I think the object was at a high altitude because the clouds caused it to disappear for a short time and reappear. It maneuvered around us for 45 minutes until 8.45 pm the rain clouds came. When I zoomed in I saw a red colored spot on one photo and four black dots around a white spot on another. Thanks to MUFON CMS

United Kingdom ISS

Observing the International Space Station (ISS) live feed recording using FRAPS, I noticed a light source track at same speed as ISS but under cloud cover that eventually it disappeared. The light source caught my attention:
Was visible under the cloud cover that is normally no higher that 12 Km above the earth’s surface… and the ISS is around 220 Km. So I guess the object was about 210 Km from the ISS, but behind the cloud cover.
As the distance probably was 220 Km from the ISS then it must be VERY LARGE!!  As the object was keeping up speed with the ISS which travels at 17,000 Km/hr the object must have been traveling at the same speed 17.000 Km/hr… WOW can you guys explain it? Thanks to MUFON CMS

Peruvian UFO sighting supports extraterrestrial embassy campaign, Raelians say

Right when Raelians were holding a press conference in Lima and describing their plan to build an embassy for extraterrestrials, a UFO was hovering nearby over Lima’s Miraflores neighborhood, according to a statement released today by the International Raelian Movement (IRM).

“News of this UFO, seen from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on February 10, spread throughout Peru,” said Raelian Guide David Uzal, who leads South America’s Raelian Movement. “It hovered over 2 hours, long enough for a TV crew from ‘Alto al Crimen’ to film it.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFQYUYOubqc).

The timing of the UFO’s appearance isn’t a coincidence, Uzal declared.

“It’s much more than an amazing UFO sighting,” agreed Raelian Guide Erich Rever of the Peruvian Raelian Movement. “This UFO appeared right when we held a press conference to present our embassy project plan, which we have submitted to the Peruvian government. Peru must be dear to our extraterrestrial creators, who lived here in ancient times and left many traces, so we’re asking the government for permission to build the embassy here. It’s a wonderful opportunity for Peruvians to understand their past and, more importantly, to consider receiving our creators, the Elohim, who were taken for gods by our ancestors and now ask to be welcomed back. We’re hoping the Peruvian government will receive their request loud and clear!”

UFO sightings have often occurred during Raelian activities.

“It’s common to see them over the Raelian village in Burkina Faso, West Africa,” Uzal said. “They were also seen over a Canadian compound when Rael was living there. Lately, many sightings have been made in China, where the Raelian community is developing quickly.”

But the Miraflores UFO appearance is special, he said.

“Raelians participating in our first South American Happiness Academy next week in Ricardo Palma hope the Peruvian government will approve our embassy plan, and they’re thrilled by this timely support from the Elohim,” he explained. “Raelians from many countries are here to participate in the Academy and support our embassy effort.”

The Raelian Movement will hold a press conference about the significance of the Milaflores UFO at 7:30 p.m. on Thurs., Feb.12, at the Hotel Boulevard, Avenida Jose Pardo 771, Lima. A public conference will take place at the same location on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m.

Area 51 Whistleblower Speaks At UFO Conference

In 1989, the world was given a glimpse into a secretive military installation in a remote swath of the Nevada desert, commonly known as Area 51.

With one interview, Bob Lazar, a physicist who worked at the military research site, made Area 51 a household name and raised questions about what’s really going on out there.

Lazar told investigative reporter George Knapp there were nine saucers located in a hangar that was built to blend in with the surrounding desert.  

Lazar was thrust into public scrutiny, and there are people who believe he made up the entire story. In a 25-year anniversary interview with Knapp, Lazar said he wished he had never done the interview.

Next weekend, Knapp is speaking at the annual International UFO Congress in Scottsdale, Ariz., before a question and answer session with Lazar himself.

Knapp, a longtime reporter with a raft of journalism awards, including two Peabodys – the TV equivalent of a Pulitzer Prize – has also done his own research.

Knapp produced and directed a series of documentaries, “UFOs The Best Evidence,” which presents information from scientists, journalists and other researchers about UFO sightings and government cover-ups.

Even before Lazar started talking about Area 51, Knapp started pursing the topic and has always treated it like he does any other story.

“I’ve tried to approach it like any other news story,” Knapp said, “That is what it has always been to me. It’s not a campaign. It’s a news story and it’s a really good news story.”

The skepticism of his colleagues is one of the reasons he has stayed focused on the often-maligned topic. Although he admits much of what is talked about in the field is “complete nonsense,” he believes there is at the very least intriguing evidence.

Col. John Alexander, Ret., who authored “UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies and Realities,” agrees there is evidence of life outside the planet, but looking into it is “not a career builder.”

They both point out that many Americans and respected scientists believe in extraterrestrials but the science establishment does not, which shuts down research on the topic.

“I think we need to do this research without risk of losing your reputation and livelihood,” Alexander said.

The topic is a difficult one not only because of the almost religious zeal that supporters bring to it, but also because the pieces do not always fit together.

“You always come up with conflicting data and scientists frankly don’t like that,” Alexander said.

Knapp agrees the evidence of extraterrestrials exists. He points to a paper trail of documents and studies done by military and intelligence agencies.

“Those documents paint a pretty dramatic picture that they do take this stuff seriously, or they did at one point, that they do have a pile of information that they can’t explain,” Knapp said.

But he doesn’t believe there is one central figure or agency that is suppressing information.

In the end, despite his interest in the topic, when asked if he has personally seen a UFO, Knapp replied, “Not that I can remember.”

The truth about ET visits is out there somewhere

EXTRA TERRESTRIAL ... has ET ever paid us a visit?

Sceptics often make patently indefensible claims about alien visitation.

One recently said: “There is absolutely no evidence that we have been visited by ET. ET never went home. He never left it.”

It’s a witty one-liner, but a silly one nevertheless.

Ask most scientists if they believe that life could exist elsewhere in the universe, and they’ll answer in the affirmative.

Ask them if some other-worldly civilisations may be thousands if not millions of years ahead of us technologically, and they’ll generally assent to that too.

However, when you ask them whether some of those advanced civilisations may have mastered interstellar spaceflight at faster-than-light speed they become a little more cautious.

Nevertheless, many will begrudgingly admit that it might just be possible.

As one physicist told me: “We don’t know how to do that yet, but we might be missing something ... who knows?”

But here’s the crunch question: when you ask them whether those space-travellers may have actually visited Earth, they inevitably shift uncomfortably and say, “No, there’s no evidence of that.”

It seems strange. If ET exists, and there is no plausible reason to deny that they may have developed the means to travel from their world to ours, by what logic can we then deny that it might have happened in reality?

If ET could travel to other worlds, how do we know he hasn’t, and how do we know he hasn’t travelled here?

As I’ve said before, it’s simply impossible to assert that no evidence of ET visitation exists.

How could any individual make that determination unless they had visited every square inch of our planet and examined it?

I have no problem with rational sceptics who simply state they’ve never seen the evidence, but I have a big problem with those who assert there is none in existence.

It’s an assertion that patently cannot be proven.

But some do know the truth:

“Sightings of unexplained objects at great altitude and travelling at high speeds in the vicinity of major U.S. defence installations are of such nature that they are not attributable to natural phenomena or known types of aerial vehicles.” (Dr. H. Marshall Chadwell, former assistant director of the CIA’s Office of Scientific Intelligence.)

“At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone:  there was a constant surveillance by UFOs.” (Scott Carpenter, astronaut).

“I know other astronauts share my feelings... we know the government is sitting on hard evidence of UFOs.” (Gordon Cooper, astronaut).

“We have contact with alien cultures.” (Dr. Brian O’Leary (astronaut).

“I’ve been convinced for a long time that the flying saucers are real and interplanetary. In other words we are being watched by beings from outer space.” (Albert M. Chop, former Deputy Public Relations Director at NASA).

These are just a few quotations plucked from hundreds which indicate that intelligent, influential and knowledgeable people are now acknowledging that we have been visited by extraterrestrial beings.

Now it’s just possible they could all be lying, but even the most intransigent sceptic would have to acknowledge that it is highly unlikely. (www.gravitywarpdrive.com/UFO_Testimonies.htm ).

Whether or not they acknowledge that there is indeed scientific evidence to prove ET visitation has occurred, they’d surely have to admit that such powerful testimony can’t simply be ignored.

If hundreds of people of the same calibre were to come forward and say they had incontrovertible evidence that a nuclear power station was about to explode with catastrophic consequences, do you think for one minute that they would be ignored? You bet they wouldn’t.

The only reason that such powerful witness testimony is being kicked to the sidelines is because noisy sceptical voices don’t want to listen.

Of course, those who wish to see the truth about ET kept a secret are more than happy to encourage that practice.

Alien and UFO circles are abuzz with claims of remarkable ancient Egyptian artifacts discovered in the former Jerusalem home of the famous Egyptologist Sir William Petrie, items that “could rewrite ancient Egyptian history” and indeed the history of the world.

A YouTube video released by the website Paranormal Crucible purports to show ancient Egyptian sculpture artifacts originally found in the “Giza complex,” but reportedly taken away from Petrie’s Jerusalem home by representatives of the Rockefeller Archaeological Museum shortly after they were found, according to the website UFO Sightings Daily.

According to the Shepard Ambellas, editor-in-chief of the “alternative news” website Intellihub News, the alien Egyptian artifacts were discovered hidden in a secret room behind the Egyptologist’s bookcase. Petrie had apparently found proof of extraterrestrial life on Earth before he died in 1942, but chose to hide them away in his Jerusalem home. Now that the Rockefeller Museum has taken possession of the artifacts, alien and UFO pundits fear they may never be accessible to the public.

However, Ambellas claims that some of the relics may be seen at the Petri Museum of Egyptian Archaeology in Malet Place, Camden, near Gower Street, London.

The Inquisitr was able to confirm that the prestigious Petri Museum of Egyptian Archaeology has in its possession a vast collection of ancient Egyptian and Sudanese artifacts, including ancient Egyptian “firsts,” such as the “oldest linen” and “oldest dress” from ancient Egypt (5,000 B.C.). The museum also displays lion sculptures from the temple of Min in Koptos and the earliest known products of metallurgy from the ancient civilization. However, The Inquisitr was unable to confirm that the museum has on display “alien Egyptian artifacts” recovered from a secret room in Petrie’s former home in Jerusalem. 

But believers will assume that the more sensitive relics of alien origins are being kept from the public.

Ambella claims that the alien Egyptian artifacts allegedly found in Petrie’s former Jerusalem home, which link the ancient Egyptian civilization to an advanced ET civilization, include two mummified bodies less than four feet in height. Although dwarfs and pygmies captured in the interior of Africa were held in high esteem as “celestial beings” in the Old Kingdom era of ancient Egypt and served in high positions, Ambella speculates that these four-foot creatures are “possibly alien in nature,” and thus literally of “celestial” origins.

Details of the physical features of the mummified bodies appear to support the suggestion that they were “possibly alien in nature.” According to Ambellas, the skeletons have stereotypical alien “elongated heads, large eye sockets, and long spinally arms.”

Equally interesting were the “highly advanced” mechanical devices, including a disc of gold with a transparent top found with the alien bodies. According to Ambella, the high-tech devices have “an intricate mechanism which is surrounded by gold spiral tubing that has several small gold orbs and crosses attached to it.” The devices had non-ancient Egyptian symbols on them, as can be seen in the image below.

Alien Technological Gadget Could Be Navigational Device

Are these alien interstellar navigational devices? Well, they might be, judging from the fact that the relics also included stone tablets that “appear to show alien spacecraft,” according to Ambella.

This is not the first time that archaeologists have found ancient Egyptian stone tablets bearing inscriptions suggestive of alien spacecraft and other sophisticated and advanced machinery. The image below shows the famous “Helicopter Hieroglyphs” recovered from a temple in Abydos, Egypt, showing what appears to be modern aircraft.

Although scientists have attributed the “aircraft” interpretation of these inscriptions to the psychological phenomenon called pareidolia, the belief is widespread in alien and UFO enthusiast circles that these hieroglyph inscriptions are proof of alien pilots and astronauts who contacted ancient human civilizations and influenced the cultural and technological development of early human societies.

And indeed, the precocity of the ancient Egyptian civilization appears to make the alien contact theory credible to ET and UFO enthusiasts, who believe that aliens built such architectural marvels as the Pyramid of Giza long before the ancient Egyptian civilization emerged.

Several UFO and alien news websites reported in November of 2010 that Dr. Alaaeldin Shaheen, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, admitted, in response to a question about the ET links of the pyramids, that the ancient Egyptian pyramids are “not of this world.”

“I can not confirm or deny this, but there is something inside the pyramid that is ‘not of this entire world.’”

But he later denied the widely circulated report.

“I did not give such stupid statement[s] about aliens and Pyramids. As [I am] Egyptologist I could [not] say such stupid words and ideas.”

Needless to say, such denials don’t impress UFO and ET believers, who see evidence of “cover up” conspiracies when officials and academics deny revealing statements earlier ascribed to them.

UFO and ET pundits continue to debate why Sir William Petrie and his colleagues kept these remarkable alien Egyptian artifacts secret and did not release them to the “general public.”

UFO-waarnemingen met veel getuigen zijn de mooiste (Video)

Eén van de problemen met UFO-waarnemingen is vaak dat het maar één iemand is die iets opmerkelijks ziet.

Met een beetje geluk slaagt deze er dan in om een foto of een filmopname te maken en dan volgt meestal de voorspelbare discussie over of dat beeld dan echt of nep is.

Kortom, als je in je eentje zoiets meemaakt is het niet eenvoudig om het publiek ervan te overtuigen dat je een betrouwbare getuige bent en dat je opnames echt zijn.

De mensen echter die zich afgelopen 10 februari in de buurt van een bouwput in de buurt van de Peruaanse hoofdstad Lima bevonden, hadden dat probleem niet.

Talloze mensen namen daar tegelijkertijd een UFO waar, ongeveer recht boven de bouwput. Alsof deze aan het observeren was wat daar nu eigenlijk werd gebouwd. 

Dat daar een UFO hing, daarover bestaat geen enkele twijfel. Hieronder volgen drie verschillende video’s die allemaal hetzelfde laten zien.

Het zou mooi zijn als al de mensen die meestal als eerste klaar staan om iets gezichtsbedrog of een Chinese lampion te noemen, met een verklaring komen wat daar boven die bouwput hangt.

Als die er niet is dan moeten we toch echt aannemen dat daar werkelijk een volkomen onbekend, maar intelligent bestuurd object in de lucht hangt.

En aangezien er niet één overheid toegeeft dit soort vliegende objecten te bezitten, kunnen we alleen maar concluderen dat de herkomst buitenaards moet zijn.

Horse-Shaped Object Captured On Video Near Colima Volcano in Mexico

An erupting volcano caught on video would be a great footage to watch, but a webcam hosted by Webcams de Mexico shot more than the incredible eruption as its video also shows a strange horse-shaped UFO.

The Mexican volcano named Colima, located around 300 miles west of Mexico City, forced residents near the area to evacuate because of its several eruptions in recent weeks. Webcams de Mexico captured these several eruptions on video through its webcam.

Daily Mail says that one of these videos shows a dark, horse-shaped UFO. The apparent flying object has two legs. It came into view out of nowhere and disappeared moments later.

The media outlet reports that the UFO hunters believe it could be an extraterrestrial vessel. They further made reference to past sightings at volcanic eruptions in Mexico. One witness was quoted by the media outlet saying that the UFO entity has a gigantic body, and it looks like a horse floating in the sky.

It had two extremities at the bottom, a bulging middle, and a thin top, but the legs were not moving, the witness described. The Daily Mail also reports that authorities in Mexico are investigating about the UFO sighting on video.

Massive UFO Sighting in Brazoria County, Houston

A pair of purple and blue lights has been the talk of the town for many decades on the back roads of Brazoria County. Specifically happening between Damon and West Columbia, along Highway 36, the story of Chief Deputy Billy Edwin McCoy and Brazoria County Deputy Bob Goode has been passed from generation to generation nearly 50 years now. McCoy’s son, Kevin, recalled the excitement but scary as well. He was an 8-year-old kid that time.

The comprehensive details of the story have been part of the Brazoria County lore. Interestingly, the story also heavily mentioned in government documents.

The story in the government documents narrates that the deputies were driving at 11 in the evening from Damon to West Columbia along with a Brazoria patrol interceptor. All of a sudden the two officers saw strange blue and purple lights in the sky. They were shocked to see the lights grew bigger and more intense as they came closer to them. They were struck in fear when they saw some form of a giant spaceship, estimated to be a football field long. Both men draw nearly similar sketches of the UFO for investigators.

According to Kevin McCoy, his father firmly believed they saw a real spaceship until he died. Kevin said he never heard his father said maybe when talking about the incident. Kevin revealed that his father kept on saying that they saw something not terrestrial in origin.

Wetenschap Het voorstel van enkele Amerikaanse wetenschappers om actief contact te zoeken met buitenaardse beschavingen valt niet in goede aarde. Critici waarschuwen voor de ondergang van onze planeet.

Enkele wetenschappers van het Amerikaanse instituut Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) hebben voorgesteld om actief contact te proberen leggen met buitenaardse wezens. Ze deden dat tijdens de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in Californië.

Wetenschappers van het SETI-programma 'luisteren' al sinds de jaren 60 naar het heelal in de hoop signalen van buitenaards leven op te vangen. Die passieve benadering bleef tot nog toe zonder resultaat. De onderzoekers vinden dat het intussen wel tijd is om een versnelling hoger te schakelen in de zoektocht naar buitenaards leven. Ze stellen daarom voor om actief boodschappen uit te sturen.

"Sommigen van ons in het instituut zijn geïnteresseerd in 'actief SETI', niet enkel luisteren maar iets uitzenden naar de nabijgelegen sterren omdat er misschien een kans is dat je op een ochtend wakker wordt en een antwoord krijgt", aldus de directeur van het SETI-instituut, dr. Seth Shostak, aan de BBC.

Shostak heeft ook al een idee van wat hij wil uitzenden. "Ik denk dat je veel informatie moet sturen. Ik stel voor dat we het volledige internet sturen, de servers van Google. Stuur het gewoon allemaal. Als ze dan cricket opzoeken, zien ze beschrijvingen, foto's, diagrammen... Ze zullen dat alles met elkaar verbinden en als ze echt intelligent zijn zullen ze zo cricket leren kennen", aldus Shostak. Volgens hem moeten we de nieuwsgierigheid prikkelen met interessante weetjes. "Eerlijk, wat zouden ze van ons willen weten? Willen er horen over de structuur van een waterstofatoom? Nee, dat kennen ze al. Ze willen iets te weten komen over onze rock-'n-roll."

Critici vinden het voorstel van dr. Shostak en zijn team levensgevaarlijk. Zij waarschuwen dat onze signalen de aandacht kunnen trekken van kwaadwillende buitenaardse wezens, met de ondergang van de planeet tot gevolg. Enkele jaren geleden waarschuwde de Britse astronoom Stephen Hawking al voor de gevaren van een mogelijke buitenaardse invasie. Ook wetenschapper en sciencefictionschrijver David Brin verweest op de AAAS-meeting naar de geschiedenisboeken. "Historici kunnen je vertellen dat het eerste contact tussen industriële beschavingen en lokale inboorlingen doorgaans niet goed verloopt." Hij vindt het bovendien onverantwoord om zo'n belangrijke beslissing te nemen zonder eerst gedetailleerd te bekijken wat de impact van het plan zou zijn. "De arrogantie van wat te roepen in de kosmos zonder enige risicoanalyse is te gek voor woorden. Dit voorstel brengt onze kleinkinderen in gevaar." Zelfs het kleinste risico is nog te groot, aldus Brin.

Volgens Shostak is er echter geen reden om te vrezen voor de voorspelde "vernietiging" van de planeet. "Ik zie niet in waarom aliens zoiets in de zin zouden hebben", zo counterde hij aan de BBC de kritiek. "Elke beschaving die naar hier zou kunnen komen en onze dag wil verpesten door de planeet in brand te steken, weet al dat we hier zijn."

Origins of the Universe

The most popular theory of our universe's origin centers on a cosmic cataclysm unmatched in all of history—the big bang. This theory was born of the observation that other galaxies are moving away from our own at great speed, in all directions, as if they had all been propelled by an ancient explosive force.

Before the big bang, scientists believe, the entire vastness of the observable universe, including all of its matter and radiation, was compressed into a hot, dense mass just a few millimeters across. This nearly incomprehensible state is theorized to have existed for just a fraction of the first second of time.

Big bang proponents suggest that some 10 billion to 20 billion years ago, a massive blast allowed all the universe's known matter and energy—even space and time themselves—to spring from some ancient and unknown type of energy.

The theory maintains that, in the instant—a trillion-trillionth of a second—after the big bang, the universe expanded with incomprehensible speed from its pebble-size origin to astronomical scope. Expansion has apparently continued, but much more slowly, over the ensuing billions of years.

Scientists can't be sure exactly how the universe evolved after the big bang. Many believe that as time passed and matter cooled, more diverse kinds of atoms began to form, and they eventually condensed into the stars and galaxies of our present universe.

Origins of the Theory

A Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître first suggested the big bang theory in the 1920s when he theorized that the universe began from a single primordial atom. The idea subsequently received major boosts by Edwin Hubble's observations that galaxies are speeding away from us in all directions, and from the discovery of cosmic microwave radiation by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson.

The glow of cosmic microwave background radiation, which is found throughout the universe, is thought to be a tangible remnant of leftover light from the big bang. The radiation is akin to that used to transmit TV signals via antennas. But it is the oldest radiation known and may hold many secrets about the universe's earliest moments.

The big bang theory leaves several major questions unanswered. One is the original cause of the big bang itself. Several answers have been proposed to address this fundamental question, but none has been proven—and even adequately testing them has proven to be a formidable challenge.

UFO mania: Ancient Alien Cauldrons in Siberia are Real!

 

A team of scientists and researchers have just returned from an expedition in Siberia and the Valley of the Dead and are claiming they have found proof of at least five of the legendary cauldrons that ancient aliens supposedly built.

Ancient Aliens

A team of Russian scientists and researchers have just returned from the “Valley of Death” region in Siberia with startling claims. Lead scientist Michale Visok had this to say in an interview with a Russian newspaper on what they had found:

“We went out into the Valley of Death to really see and investigate the metal cauldrons that people claim exist there and we actually found five metallic objects buried in marsh like swamps”

Michale gave the following details about these metal objects:

They are each submerged in small pools of swamp like water that is anywhere from 2-3 feet deep.
They are definitely metallic. The scientists entered each swamp and walked on top of the objects and heard metallic sounds when striking the objects.

The tops of the objects are very smooth to the touch but there are sharp points along the outer edges.

2 of the team members got ill during the investigation.

The team consisted of 3 geologists, 1 astrophysicist, 1 mechanical engineer and 3 research assistants.

Asked what does the team think they have discovered? Could it be something built by ancient aliens like so many people believe? Michale declined to comment other than “there is definitely something weird out there, we have no idea what they are or what they were used for”.

Local UFO investigator: It's 'obvious we're not alone'

Harry Willnus knows all too well that eyebrows will rise when he talks about unidentified flying objects, but that doesn't stop the retired social studies teacher from continuing his 60-year quest to see the issue become accepted by the mainstream population.

"UFO sightings are reported every day around the world and in every country around the world," said the Salem resident and former president of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest investigative body looking into the UFO phenomena.

Willnus, like other UFO enthusiasts ask, "Are we alone in the universe?"

That question will be the focus of his appearance on the Science Channel's show "Close Encounters." Now in its second season, Willnus will appear on an upcoming episode scheduled to air at 10 p.m., March 10. Willnus will share his vast knowledge about the highly publicized March 1966 reported UFO sighting in Dexter,. He'll be on the show again, at 10 p.m., March 31, talking about a reported sighting in Exeter, N. H.

In the March 20, 1966, Dexter case a group of people, including police officers, reported seeing an object turn from a blue green to a brilliant red to a yellow coloring. It rose 500 feet and returned to the ground, one man said.

Trying to investigate further, the officers said they went out to the far edge of the wooded area and also saw a brilliant light appear and then disappear. The officers said when they returned to their patrol vehicle, a group of people had gathered and reported seeing something similar. These witnesses said the object departed in a western direction at a high rate of speed.

Area reports

A UFO investigator, Willnus sat in the living room of his home and retold other stories of what he believes are extraterrestrial visits. Like a sighting by WJR reporter Marc Avery on Feb. 10, 1978. Avery was on his way to the airport on Interstate 275 when he and his wife saw two lights hovering over their car "for 30, 40, 50 seconds." He called the radio station and spoke on air, describing the aircraft with Warren Pierce. Willnus has the report recorded on his smart phone.

The citing was never debunked, Willnus said. In fact, two men, who were walking in the Merriman Road and Michigan Avenue area later reported they saw a similar aircraft about five minutes before Avery's report.

The U.S. Air Force investigated UFO sightings from 1947 to 1969, in Project Blue Book, which consisted of 12,618 accounts spanning nearly 130,000 pages, Willnus said. The project was discontinued, however, after a committee formed at the request of President Gerald Ford concluded UFOs weren't a threat to national security.

Sightings on the rise

Sightings have doubled in the last couple of years, Willnus said.

"This major increase shows there's something going on," he said. "It's driving the interest in the number one question: 'Are we alone?' Are there other intelligences out there?

"After studying UFOs, it becomes obvious we are not alone," Willnus continued. "I base that on the fact that there are 200 sightings every day around the world. There's pictures, photos and movies. It's not a hoax when these crafts can disappear before our eyes. Or fly at over 1,000 miles an hour and make a right angle turn – or, stop on a dime."

Willnus also refers to a case involving former Novi resident Nancy Tremaine, who had described being abducted by a UFO off Orchard Drive near Meadowbrook Road in the 1960s. Former Novi Police Chief Lee BeGole, who spoke to the Novi News last year at age 93, didn't see the UFO, but he was on duty at the police station the night the incident occurred.

BeGole said an off duty officer told dispatch he saw a strange object overhead and police dispatch took multiple calls from people who said they also saw a strange object in the sky.

If you ask your 10 best friends if they ever had a UFO experience, Willnus said, 10 percent would say, "yes."

"But, people get laughed at once they say that," Willnus said. "And then they say, 'I'm not going to share that again.'"

Not always out of this world

He does note, however, that 90 percent of reported UFOs can be explained by something other than an extraterrestrial visit. The "UFO" might actually be a blimp, a flock of birds flying at night or even the planet, Venus, because it's the closest to Earth and moves quickly.

"The other 10 percent, we're not sure what they are," Willnus added. "I think a good many of those are that we are being visited by intelligent life off the planet Earth. Look at the evidence. The evidence is, overwhelmingly, there is a UFO phenomenon that we don't understand at this time.

"I'm getting up there and I want this story to break before I pass," he said. "Some people in the U.S. government are aware we are being visited. This is a cosmic Watergate where there is a cover-up keeping this from people. The best thing that could happen is if governments, including the United States, would come out and say, 'The UFO phenomenon is real and don't panic, because they don't appear to be here to harm us.'"

UFO DISC SPOTTED OVER SUBMARINE BASE IN WASHINGTON

APRIL 22, 1998   ……..    BANGOR SUBMARINE BASE WASHINGTON

 From between approximately 2120 hrs. and  2130 hrs. (Pacific Daylight Time), one or more objects, variously described as a blue-green sphere, an oval of blue-green light, or a disc with six lights on it, was reported from multiple points throughout western Washington State.  The object was reported to change direction of flight on at least three occasions, to execute a rolling maneuver on at least one occasion, to come to an almost complete stop in two locations, to reverse its general course of travel from south to north, and to change its appearance, including its color, on at least two occasions.  One reliable observer witnessed the object to pass slowly over the center of Bangor Submarine Base on Hood Canal, approximately 20-30 miles to the west of Seattle, passing directly over the underground bunkers where nuclear weapons are thought to be stored.  In excess of a dozen seemingly independent and reliable reports regarding the alleged sightings were received by the National UFO Reporting Center between April 22 and May 11.

UFO mania: Nikola Tesla: Time Travel Experiment

There are places where time and space are naturally bent. An example is the strange Lordsburg Door, located near Lordsburg, New Mexico.

Periodically, as the door opens, a tree stump with a human leg embedded in it is seen near mile marker 17 out on US highway 90. 

There is some evidence that these fluxes in space and time can be artificially induced. This appears to have been the case with the USS Eldritch, which took part in the Philadelphia Experiment on August 15, 1943.

The brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla and the theoretician Albert Einstein are both reported to have been involved in this experiment. 

The object was to render the ship invisible by wrapping the hull in inch-thick cable though which a high-frequency signal from an elaborate system of generators and Tesla coils was induced.

The results were disastrous. When activated, the ship generated a green fog and disappeared from Philadelphia, reappearing in Norfolk Harbor 24 hours later. 

Many of the crew ended up embedded in the walls of the ship. Others became insane. Some were mercifully dispatched with a pistol shot to the head. Here is a written account from one of the few survivors of the 176 man crew.

Tesla was a genius of such magnitude that some doubt that he was actually human. Many of Tesla’s inventions, like the “free energy receiver” and the long-range “death ray” may have been suppressed to prevent the collapse of the electrical utility, coal and oil industries or for reasons of National Security.

Tesla also attempted an experiment to use the core of the Earth like a “tuning fork” to conduct “free” electricity. In the process, he melted the town generator of Colorado Springs. 

At exactly the same time, an unexplained explosion in Siberia of about 15 megatons leveled hundreds of square miles of pine forests. This explosion is often dismissed as a comet or meteor impact.

After his death in New York City, Tesla’s files and notes on death rays and other matters were confiscated by the FBI. Some of the FBI files on Tesla were published on the Internet under the Freedom of information act, but these have since been removed.

It’s easy to sensationalize this strange American immigrant. He fell in love with a white female pigeon with violet eyes. He said he saw rays of light emanating from her eyes. He insisted on exactly 17 folded linen napkins with every meal. 

He constructed a tower in New Jersey to communicate with aliens. However his fame rests on rock solid accomplishments: the invention of alternating current, AC motors, the first radio transmitter and receiver (two years before Marconi) and the first to harness the power of falling water to generate electricity (at Niagara Falls).

Big Bang not the start? Quantum theory suggests universe has existed forever

The Big Bang did not mark the start of the universe, instead there was no beginning and there will be no end, scientists have suggested.

Physicists from the University of Lethbridge in Canada and Benha University in Egypt have created a new model that applies quantum correction terms to Einstein's theory of general relativity.

Einstein's theory predicts the universe came from an infinitely dense single point that then exploded outwards – the Big Bang. However, this state – singularity – creates a number of problems for scientists, including the fact it does not account for what happened before or at the moment of the Big Bang.

The physicists have now incorporated principles from quantum mechanics that suggest the universe could have always existed in a "quantum potential". This, in turn, could have eventually collapsed in the hot explosion that was the Big Bang.

Published in Physics Letters B, the scientists also say their model could account for dark matter and dark energy.

The scientists combined the work of David Bohm, who in the 1950s looked to use quantum theory to describe the shortest paths between two points on a curved surface, and Amal Kumar Raychaudhuri, who worked on the formation of singularities.

Using a quantum-corrected Raychaudhuri equation, they were able to create new equations to describe the expansion and evolution of the universe within general relativity. They showed that quantum particles can never meet or cross paths, phys.org explains. 

"As far as we can see, since different points in the universe never actually converged in the past, it did not have a beginning," study author Professor Saurya Das told the MailOnline.

The authors are not saying the Big Bang did not happen - just that it was not the start of the universe. (Reuters)

"It lasted forever. It will also not have an end ... In other words, there is no singularity. The universe could have lasted forever. It could have gone through cycles of being small and big. Or it could have been created much earlier."

This idea does not, however, suggest there was no Big Bang. Brian Koberlein, a researcher at Rochester Institute of Technology, wrote in a blog post that there was some confusion over what the physicists were suggesting.

"A new paper in Physical Letters B has the popular press wondering if there was no Big Bang, but the actual paper claims no such thing... The Big Bang is a robust scientific theory that isn't going away, and this new paper does nothing to question its legitimacy."

He said they used the Raychaudhuri equation with "a few quantum tweaks" – it uses some aspects of quantum theory, but is not a complete quantum gravity model because we do not have this. He also notes the theory is basic and the idea of an eternal universe is not new. 

"What the authors show is that their modified Raychaudhuri model eliminates the initial singularity of the big bang. It also predicts a cosmological constant, which is a proposed mechanism for dark energy. Their model is really basic, but this first result shows that this type of approach could work."

Should We Be Afraid Of Aliens?

In the long list of modern fears, bloodthirsty aliens may not rank near the top. We have more immediate worries, from terrorism and bioengineered (or not) global epidemics to nuclear holocaust and natural disasters.

However, the notion that other intelligences exist out there in the universe is pervasive in popular culture. Mirrors to our own history, in particular colonial exploitations, aliens are often portrayed as evil invaders bent on coming here to wreak havoc.

How realistic are these scenarios, given what we know now about astronomy and the possibility of life in other worlds?

Stephen Hawking, among others, has suggested that we should be very careful with aggressive aliens — that, in fact, we should be as stealthy as possible, lest we reveal our presence and location to predatory ETs in our cosmic neighborhood.

There are three parts to this. The first concerns the existence of other worlds with habitable conditions — that is, that can harbor life as we know it. Thanks to the efforts of the many planet hunters out there, in particular the remarkable results from NASA's Kepler mission, we now know that most stars have planets surrounding them. Thousands of these planets have been identified, and, among these, several have properties similar to Earth: rocky and within the habitable zone of their main star. Although the majority of these orbit small and cooler M dwarf stars, where conditions for life may be very harsh indeed, the fact is that we should expect a few Earth-like worlds within a distance of about 1,000 light years or so.

Whether any of these potentially habitable worlds are, in fact, able to harbor life, is another story. In the next few decades, with combined efforts from the James Webb Space Telescope and the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission, as well as missions from the European Space Agency, we should know better how rare such Earth-like planets are and, with luck, have a rough idea of their atmospheric composition. We should be able to know if their atmospheres have some of the right ingredients for harboring life. (There are, however, several potential shortcomings with these missions. But let's be generous and grant that there are other Earth-like planets out there with the right conditions for life. We then hit the second part of the issue: the existence of life and, more to the point, of complex life forms in one or more of these worlds. Life emerged and took root fairly quickly here on Earth, only some 400 millions years after conditions settled at about 3.5 billion years ago. It may have emerged earlier; we still don't know. This is good news for life elsewhere: If it emerged quickly here, it can't be that hard. But, in fact, we don't really know how hard it is for life to emerge.

At face value, the transition from nonlife to life seems incredibly complex. But even if it's fairly easy, what happens next is crucial: To go from simple life, consisting of unicellular organisms, to complex life requires a series of extremely unlikely events. And the unlikeliness is not only related to tough biological mutations and metabolic pathways that have to be cleared up, but to the marriage of life to the planet as a whole. We can't understand the history of life in a planet without understanding the history of the planet; the two go hand in hand. This means that for life to emerge in a planet is different from for life to evolve in that planet in a path toward increasing complexity. There is nothing in evolution that tells us that once life emerges it will become increasingly more complex. What evolution does tell us is that life is in a constant struggle for adaptation, Darwin's theory of natural selection. That accidental mutations lead to better-adapted life forms does not imply that these life forms will steadily become more complex. In other words, finding life in another planet is a far cry from finding complex, multicellular life forms, much less intelligent life forms. True, intelligence grants a huge benefit toward adaptation (selective advantage), as we see here. But it is not a necessary condition for adaptation. Just think that of the 3.5 billion years that life has existed on Earth, we've only been here for about 200,000 years.

But, again, let's be generous and grant that intelligent life forms do exist in one or more worlds within a few thousand light years from us. Should we fear them? This is the third part of the issue. We have absolutely no idea what kind of minds such intelligences would have — and of what technological stage they'd have reached. What we do know is that they haven't been here yet. Or, if they have, they left without leaving any clues. (Unless, of course, we are their creations, a topic for another blog.)

There are four conditions that need to be satisfied for us to start fearing our distant alien neighbors. The aliens must: 1. Have developed technologies that allow them to travel or send targeted probes across interstellar distances; 2. Have spotted us as a desirable destination; 3. Have intent to explore space around them (they may not share the same kind of wanderlust); 4. Have evil intents.

The search for extraterrestrial intelligence is a must. We will only find it if we look. However, given the arguments above, we should be very confident that, even if they do exist — and that's a huge if — they are very remote. From what we know now of space travel and all its difficulties — fuel, speed, radiation shielding — had the aliens the technologies to overcome all this, they would probably also have technologies that would have spotted us a long time ago, for example, by analyzing our atmospheric composition or, if closer than around 50 light years, by detecting our radio and TV broadcastings.

We are safe, at least from this kind of menace. Best we concentrate on other, more pressing ones.

The intriguing video has captured the imagination of sky-watchers. This video shows the dramatic moment a giant glowing UFO appears to land in the sea off a UK beach – in a suspected METEOR strike. The footage, filmed from a fixed camera on the shore at Dawlish, Devon, shows the meteor flying through the sky before it appears to hit the water. The operator of the fixed camera later wrote posted on Facebook: “What was caught on camera the other night? Was it a bird or a plane, maybe even Superman?”
Many sky-watchers took to social networks to discuss the shock sighting – with some speculating it was a UFO from outer space.

Driver shocked by sighting of 'UFO' in Carmarthenshire

                        Did you spot a UFO in the Talley area?

        A LLANDEILO woman believes she may have seen a UFO flying in the skies around the town.

The area around Llandeilo is no stranger to unexplained sightings. In 2013 an unidentified object was reported in the skies just outside the town.

The witness described how a circular light switched from red to white before quickly disappearing in the direction of Ammanford.

In 2011 a farmer in Llanybydder called police to report that his sheep had been abducted by a UFO.

West Wales UFO expert Gavin Davies explained that there are often simple explanations for sightings such as these, including  planes or Chinese lanterns.

He said: "About 99 per cent of stuff is explainable, then that one per cent fits into the category.  Is it something military or is it something else?"

Other explanations for UFO sightings  include remote controlled drones, which have become increasingly popular in recent years.

        THE AZTEC RECOVERY 1948

It was the columnist Frank Scully who first alerted the world to sensational stories of recovered flying saucers and little  men in his best-selling book Behind the Flying Saucers published in 1950. Scully claimed that up to that time there had been four such recoveries, one of which was alleged to have taken place around Aztec, New Mexico, when sixteen humanoid bodies were recovered together with their undamaged craft. According to Scully's informants, the disk that landed near Aztec was 99.99 feet in diameter, its exterior made of a light metal resembling aluminum but so durable that no amount of heat (up to 10,000 degrees was applied) or diamond-tipped drill had the slightest effect. The disk apparently incorporated large rings of metal which revolved around a central, stabilized cabin, using an unfamiliar gear ratio. There were no rivets, bolts, screws or signs of welding. Investigators were eventually able to gain entry. Scully was told, because of a fracture in one of the portholes, which they enlarged, revealing a knob inside the cabin which when pushed (with a pole) caused a hidden door to open. Sixteen small humanoids, ranging in height from 36 to 42 inches, were supposedly found dead inside the cabin, their bodies charred to a dark brown color. Scully was told that the craft landed undamaged, having landed under its own guidance. The craft was eventually dismantled, the investigators having discovered that it was manufactured in segments which fitted in grooves and were pinned together around the base. The complete cabin section, measuring 18 feet in diameter was lifted out of the base of the saucer, around which was a gear that fitted a gear on the cabin. These segments, together with the bodies, were then transported to Wright Field (Wright Patterson AFB). Some of the bodies were later dissected and examined by the Air Force, and were found to be similar in all respects to human beings, with the exception of their teeth, which were perfect.

New Supportive Evidence?

According to important information published by William Steinman in 1987 there is a large grain of truth in the Aztec story, and he has managed to acquire some astonishing supportive evidence. Like Scully, he is unwilling to divulge his sources, which inevitably lays him open to charges of fabrication. Steinman discovered that the Aztec disk came to earth on 25 March 1948, having been detected by three separate radar units in the southwest, one of which was said to have disrupted the craft's control mechanism. The area of impact was calculated by triangulation and this information was immediately relayed to Air Defense Command and Gen. George C. Marshall, then Secretary of State, who allegedly contacted the MJ-12 group as well as the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit (IPU) of the Army Counterintelligence Directorate. The IPU operated out of Camp Hale, Colorado, at this time, Steinman claims, and its main function was to collect and deliver disabled or crashed disks to certain specified secret locations. The craft was recovered within hours by the IPU scout team about 12 miles northeast of Aztec. General Marshall ordered Air Defense Command to go off alert status, and the radar units were advised that there had been a false alarm. Marshall then gave orders to the commander of the IPU to organize a recovery team and contacted Dr. Vannevar Bush - the. head of MJ-12 to gather together a team of scientists to accompany the IPU to the crash site. Steinman has named these scientists as follows:

Dr., Lloyd Berkner, Dr. Detlev Bronk, Dr. Carl A. Heiland, Dr. Jerome Hunsaker, Dr. John von Neumann, Dr. Robert J. Oppenheimer, Dr. Merle A. Tuve, Dr. Horace B. van Vandenberg.

Four of these scientists, it will be noted, were members of the original MJ-12 panel set up in September 1947. Dr. Carl A. Heiland was a geophysicist and magnetic sciences expert who was the head of the Colorado School of Mines, and according to Steinman leaked details of the recovery to one of Scully's sources, Leo GeBauer. Dr. Horace B. van Vandenberg was an inorganic chemist associated with the University of Colorado. Dr. Merle A. Tuve worked for the Office of Scientific Research and Development during World War II, and is chiefly remembered as a geophysicist for his techniques of radio wave propagation of the upper atmosphere. Dr. Robert J. Oppenheimer distinguished himself primarily as leader of the Los Alamos atomic bomb project , commanding the allegiance of the world's top physicists. He was the Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies at Princeton from 1947 and became Chairman of the General Advisory Committee of the Atomic Energy Commission. Dr. John von Neumann, the famous Hungarian born mathematician, became a consultant on the atomic bomb (Manhatten Project) in 1943. His main area of expertise lay in the design and development of computers. The scientists, according to Steinman, were told by Dr. Bush to assemble at Durango Airfield, Colorado, 35 miles to the north of Aztec, with the minimum delay. All those involved in the recovery were sworn to an above top secret oath.

The IPU convoy used a route to the site that avoided main roads, and on arrival road blocks were set up at strategic points within two miles of the recovery area. The owner of a ranch and his family were allegedly held incommunicado and told never to discuss the matter (cf. the Roswell incident). Equipment hauling trucks were camouflaged to look like oil drilling rigs during the operation.

Inside the Craft

A team of scientists arrived at the site a little later than the IPU team and began dissecting the disk. According to Steinman, they entered the craft one by one, entry having been gained via a fractured porthole as described in Scully's account. The portholes themselves looked metallic and only appeared translucent on close inspection. Inside the craft they found two humanoids, about two feet in height, slumped over an instrument panel charred deep brown. Another 12 bodies lay sprawled on the floor in chamber within the cabin, making a total of 14 bodies (not 16 as Scully had been told).

An instrument panel supposedly had several pushbuttons and levers with hieroglyphic-type symbols, as well as symbols illuminated on small display screens. Bush and von Neumann discovered that the control panel had drawers which rolled out, but no wiring could be detected. A book composed of parchment-like leaves with the texture of plastic also contained the strange hieroglyphs - similar to Sanskrit, Oppenheimer thought. This was given to General Marshall, who then passed it on to two leading cryptological experts for analysis, William F. Friedman and Lambros C. Callihamos (who both later led distinguished careers in the National Security Agency).

Dr. Bronk, a physiologist and biophysicist, examined the bodies and asked Bush to get hold of cryogenic equipment with which to preserve them. Cryogenics specialist Dr. Paul A. Scherer, a colleague of Bush's, was contacted and advised Bush to obtain some dry ice. Meanwhile, another small group of scientists and military personnel examined the craft and were eventually able to dismantle it when several interlocking key devices were found which opened up seams at specific points.

Three days later the segments were loaded onto three trucks, together with the bodies, and transported with a tarpaulin marked "Explosives". The convoy headed at night by the least conspicuous and often most laborious route to the restricted Naval Auxiliary Airfield Complex at Los Alamos, arriving one week later. Here they remained for over a year, Steinman claims, before being transported to another base.

The Bodies

Dr. Paul A. Scherer eventually obtained special preservation containers for the least damaged bodies, Steinman relates. One of the companies which supplied equipment was the Air Research Corporation, of which Scherer was Director of Research and Development; it supplied the liquid nitrogen pump, circulation system and refrigeration units. Other specimens were given a complete autopsy, by a team headed by Dr. Bronk, of biophysicists, histochemists and pathologists. The results were put in a report, part of which, Steinman claims, appeared in the "Air Force Project Sign (Grudge) Report No. 13" which has never been released.

According to the report, the bodies were described as averaging 42 inches in length. The facial features strongly resembled "mongoloid Orientals" in appearance, with disproportionately large heads, large "slant" eyes, small noses and mouths. The average weight was about 40 pounds. The torsos were very small and thin, with very thin necks. The arms were long and slender, reaching the knees, with hands containing long and slender fingers with webbing between them. There was no digestive or gastrointestinal tract, no alimentary or intestinal canal, and no rectal point. No reproductive organs were apparent. Instead of blood there was a colorless liquid with no red cells which smelled similar to ozone.

Further Evidence

Veteran researcher Leonard Stringfield, a former Air Force intelligence officer who is the world's leading specialist on what he calls "Retrievals of the Third Kind," shares my misgivings about some of the material in Steinman's book, but we are both impressed with his extensive research into the Aztec case. Stringfield has uncovered further evidence himself. Captain V. A. Postlethwait, who was on detached service with Army G-2 (Intelligence) in 1948, told Stringfield that he was cleared to see a top secret cable describing the crash of a saucer-shaped craft 100 feet in diameter and 30 feet high, with one porthole broken, causing suffocation to the five occupants - who had turned blue as a result. The bodies were about four feet tall with relatively large heads, Postlethwait recollects. The metallic skin of the saucer was too tough to penetrate, although as thin as newspaper. The incident was said to have occurred near White Sands, New Mexico. Aside from a few discrepancies there are some significant parallels with the Aztec case. Postlethwait revealed to Stringfield, for example, that private property was purchased to facilitate transporting the craft.

Leonard Stringfield has also spoken with Dr. Robert Spencer Carr, a retired University of South Florida professor who claims to have testimonial evidence from five sources, including a nurse and a high-ranking Air Force officer who participated in the recovery of a crashed UFO and occupants in 1948 - presumed to be the one at Aztec (although there was another alleged recovery that year, just across the Mexican border near Laredo, Texas). In 1982 Stringfield asked Carr to disclose the name of his principal source, "on the premise that our ages give us little time tolerance in our search for truth."

"When Professor Carr named his source," says Stringfield, "I sat back dumbfounded. I knew his name well in research, and recalled some of his comments on UFOs while he served as an Air Force officer. . . . "Please, Len," pleaded Carr, "keep the name to yourself; please spare me any trouble as long as I live . . . My key witness participated in the 1948 retrieval and saw alien bodies on location."

According to Bill Steinman, two of Carr's sources were aeronautical engineers who provided important information regarding the saucer's construction and propulsion. A source now named is Arthur Bray (not to be confused with the Canadian researcher), a security guard involved with the recovery project. Carr also interviewed a woman whose father was present during the recovery. Information pertaining to the flying saucers must be suppressed, he told his daughter. "If news of this vehicle's water-driven engine got out to the whole scientific community, that would be the end of the oil industry." The comment is of course pure hearsay, but if there is any truth in it a further possible reason for the cover-up is brought to light.

At the still fenced-off crash site on a plateau twelve miles northeast of Aztec, Bill Steinman has uncovered charred and scraped-off rocks of various sizes as well as some metal bracing struts that might possibly have been used for supporting the craft. On one of his visits to the area he was shadowed by two unmarked helicopters.

As for George Bowra's claim that no one in Aztec, could recall the incident, Steinman has traced at least four people who knew where the crash site was located, one of whom, "V.A.," recalls that sometime between 1948 and 1950 a huge disk-shaped flying object with a dome on top skimmed about 100 feet above the ground not far from him. The witness pointed out to Steinman a cliff jutting above the Animas River.

"That thing, or flying saucer, tried hard to clear that cliff, but it hit the very corner up there, shooting sparks and rocks in every direction," he claims. "Finally, it made a right-angle turn in midair and headed straight north in the direction of the alleged crash site at Hart Canyon. That's the last I saw of it. I ran into the house and called the military in Albuquerque. I never heard from them about it."

Steinman first became interested in UFOs in 1981 when he read Frank Scully's book, and has since devoted much of his time and resources on the Aztec case and the other recoveries associated with Scully's claims, often in the face of discouraging odds. Steinman's job in quality assurance and analysis in the aerospace industry has aided him in probing the complex and intricate leads that he has pursued.

Writing in the foreword to Steinman's book, UFO Crash at Aztec, Leonard Stringfield explains how, like many others, he was led to believe the Scully story was a hoax, his disbelief long being conditioned by a succession of ufologists who for years claimed that Scully "was duped by a scheming Silas Newton and his cohort, Leo Gebauer." But now, thanks to Bill Steinman's painstaking research (as well as some of his own leads), he has been obliged to reevaluate the evidence.

The  first is general relativity, the modern theory of gravity. It describes  the universe at the largest scales. Any event in the universe occurs as  a point in space and time, or spacetime. A massive object such as the  Sun distorts or “curves” spacetime, like a bowling ball sitting on a  canvas. The Sun’s gravitational dent alters the motion of Earth and the  other planets orbiting it. The sun’s pull of the planets appears to us  as the force of gravity.

Roswell alien photo sneak peak

Last week we wrote about the announcement that photographic slides of an alleged alien taken in 1947 will be revealed on May 5, 2015 in Mexico City at an event presented  by Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan. However, as part of the announcement there was a trailer for an upcoming documentary on the slides, and with some manipulation, a screenshot from the trailer may have revealed the actual alleged alien photograph.

The documentary trailer is produced by Slidebox Media. Apparently, one of the photo analysts that the slides were taken to for verification thought so highly of the slides that he decided to make a documentary about them.

However, the trailer may reveal much more than the researchers intended. Besides giving a lot of background information regarding slides and the deceased couple who are believed to have been the original owners of it, the trailer also shows a computer rendering of what the alien in the slides might have looked like, based off of what can be seen in them.

In one of these images of the computer rendering, what appears to be the alien in one of the original slides can be seen as the computer graphics are graphed on top of it.

Whenever an original slide has been shown in the documentary, or in other presentations by the researchers, it has been blurred. However, in another scene in the documentary a researcher is looking at one of the slides using a magnifier.

Frank Warren, founder of the website The UFO Chronicles, zoomed in on the slide and manipulated it to see what it would look like straight on. What he got was a more clear picture of what the slide looks like. In Warren’s rendering, you can see some sort of body laying on what looks like a stretcher, and a ruler nearby. It does look like a more clear version of the slide that has been blurred.

Veteran Roswell UFO crash researchers Don Schmitt and Tom Carey have lead the research into the slides and their authenticity. They both seem convinced that the slides show a genuine extraterrestrial being that was recovered by the military during the Roswell event in July, 1947.

While they may never be able to prove this theory, they do feel they can establish the slides are real, whatever is shown in them is not a animal, human, or faked model of an alien, and they are from the proper time period. They also say they have military witnesses who saw the Roswell aliens and can confirm that what is in the images is what they saw.

While not proof, it sounds compelling. We will have to wait until May to get the rest of the details regarding the totality of their evidence and to see the real, unblurred, slides. But thanks to Warren, for now, we have a bit of a sneak preview.

Europese ruimtetaxi IXV met succes getest - HLN.be

UPDATE Een Europese experimentele spaceshuttle heeft vandaag met succes een eerste en wellicht enige test doorstaan, zo heeft het Europese Ruimtevaartbureau ESA meegedeeld. "ESA heeft een nieuw hoofdstuk aangesneden in termen van terugkeermogelijkheid en herbruikbaarheid", aldus directeur-generaal Jean-Jacques Dordain.

Om 14.40 uur (Belgische tijd) steeg vanop de Europese ruimtehaven Kourou in Frans-Guayana de vierde Europese Vega-raket op. Die liet op 348 km hoogte zijn "passagier" los, de onbemande IXV die een prototype van spaceshuttle is.

Gelijkend op een vliegend strijkijzer of vliegende kruimeldief klom het toestel naar een hoogte van 413 km, om dan naar de aarde terug te keren. Meer dan 300 geavanceerde en conventionele sensoren verzamelden een grote hoeveelheid data.

De snelheid van 7,5 km per seconde tijdens de duik in de atmosfeer creëerde dezelfde condities als voor ruimetetuigen die naar de Aarde terugkeren.

Een valschermsysteem remde de snelheid van het vijf meter lange en zowat twee ton wegende ruimtetuig verder af, waarna de IXV veilig in de Stille Oceaan neerplofte. Een schip moet het ongevleugelde toestel bergen.

Bedoeling van de, volgens gezaghebbend ruimtevaartjournalist Peter B. de Selding in totaal 210 miljoen euro kostende missie, was technologie voor terugkeer van ruimtetuigen uit te testen. ESA deed dienaangaande in 1998 reeds ervaring op met de succesvolle missie van de ARD-capsule.

Een mogelijke volgende stap is het lanceren met een Vega van het herbruikbare ruimtevliegtuig Pride dat dan op een landingsbaan moet neerstrijken.

België is één van de zeven landen die aan het project deelnamen.

Het SDO werd opgericht om de energie van de zon te bestuderen en de invloed hiervan op de aarde beter te begrijpen. De prachtige beelden zijn afkomstig van foto's die elke acht uur gemaakt werden tussen juni 2010 tot 8 februari 2015, aldus NASA.

"De beelden met de mooie lussen en bogen zijn extreem heet materiaal", vertelt natuurkundige Dean Pesnell in een interview met Yahoo News. "We willen begrijpen waar al die bogen vandaan komen. Ze zijn gevuld met dingen van ongeveer 2 miljoen graden [Fahrenheit]. De zon zelf is zo'n 5.500 graden celsius."

Pesnell, een wetenschapper aan het SDO zegt verder dat de verschillende kleuren corresponderen met de variatie in temperaturen en de verschillende golflengtes van waarop de zon geobserveerd werd.

WHY IS VENUS OFTEN MISTAKED FOR A UFO?

Venus is the brightest planet in our night sky, so bright that it is often visible during the day, too. Although it is 45 million kilometers away, many people reported sightings of UFOs when the Venus was up, they claimed UFO was hovering above the neighbourhood...
It even happened to me once.

It was the 27th of October, 1997. I was on my way home from school. At that time of the year, night here usually falls at about 5 - 6 p.m. It was about 6:30 when I got to my street. I live at the suburbs of my town so the streets are rather quiet and dark.
And then I saw very bright object in the western sky. It was surrounded by some sort of fog. It looked very distant and i thought it looks like a comet we saw few months ago. I didn't watch it for a long time.

Two years later I got a computer program 'Starry Night Pro 3.0' by Sienna Software. The program shows star and planet positions for any time, day or year in the past or in the future. So I set the date: October 27, 1997. And there it was Venus, shining above the western horizon. I haven't seen it before so I was very surprised by its brightness...

I believe the fog was caused by high altitude clouds.

Why is Venus so bright? Its atmosphere is almost 100% carbon-dioxide. It is very dense so its cloud reflect much more sunlight than any other planet in the Solar System.
In 1835, French battleship received orders from their command to knock-down enemy balloon. Later it was discovered that there was no enemy: they were trying to shoot Venus.
One evening in October 1969, at 19:15, former US president Jimmy Carter saw UFO suddenly appearing in the western sky, at approximately 30 degrees altitude. "It was brighter than sky and clear like a Moon. It changed size to a size of an ordinary planet to the size of a Moon. It was about 274 - 914 meters (300 - 1000 yards) away."
But, UFO skeptic Robert Sheaffer investigated the event and came up with conclusion that without any doubt, witness saw planet Venus.

One British expert for physics, R. V. Jones, once wrote an article...
"My contact with this object began about in 1925, when people from Oxted, Surrey (England) told me about a strong light that moves slowly across the sky every night. Actually, I knew a married couple who was up all night just to observe it. It was Venus which attracted them with its brightness; they have never noticed that stars and planets move across the sky as Earth rotates. Venus really caused a lot of problems. In 1940 or 1941 we had alert status because of reports that Germans have a new plane which flies on a very high altitude. The report came from one defense batterry from Borders. The plane was bright and they used their instruments to determine how high does it fly. The answer was 26 000 feet and we were wondering how did they measure it so accurately. Investigation determined that 26 000 feet was the last mark on their instrument and their target was again Venus. Same explanation is for few flying saucers that appeared in the Northern Scotland. Sometimes we were able to predict when the UFO sightings will be reported, depending on Venus' position in the sky."

In autumn 2000, my friend told me that he observes UFO every night. He said that first he sees a very bright star, but that star slowly comes lower and lower. When it gets low enough, it flashes in rainbow colors. I turned on my computer and checked it with the Starry Night Pro; the time of his sighting perfectly matched with positions of Venus. What about the rainbow colors?
When a star or a planet is low in the sky, its light must pass through more atmosphere than usual. The atmosphere converts light, and that is why the Sun gets red when it rises or sets. And that is why brighter planets and stars (like Venus, Jupiter, Mars or Sirius) change colors when they are low in the sky.

There are probably more UFO/Venus sightings that are not even reported. That mostly happens because people do not posess basic astronomical knowledge. Can it be so hard just to look at the sky map?...
