WETENSCHAPHet Pentagon briefte onlangs drie senatoren over het stijgend aantal waarnemingen van ufo’s door piloten van de Amerikaanse Navy. Ook president Trump kreeg een korte update, gaf hij toe aan ABC News. “We houden het in het oog en u zal het als eerste weten”, zei hij over mogelijk buitenaards leven.
Donderdag nog was de speculatie in Kansas City niet van de lucht nadat verscheidene mensen er boven de luchthaven twee mysterieuze, langwerpige, wazige lichtbollen hadden waargenomen. Een lokaal tv-station tweette een aantal foto’s van de vermeende ufo’s. De National Weather Service stond perplex: “We hebben eerlijk gezegd geen verklaring voor de zwevende objecten boven Kansas City”, klonk het.
Eind vorige week was de Amerikaanse president Donald Trump in een interview met ABC News sceptisch over de toenemende ufo-waarnemingen. “Ik denk dat het waarschijnlijk... ze mogen van mij denken wat ze willen. Ze vertellen het inderdaad, en ik heb het gezien, erover gelezen en gehoord. Ik had er een korte meeting over. Mensen beweren dus ufo’s te zien. Geloof ik dat? Niet meteen”, antwoordde Trump aan George Stephanopoulos.
De journalist vroeg de president of hij het zou weten als er buitenaards leven zou worden ontdekt. “Wel, mijn fantastische piloten zouden het volgens mij weten. Onze fantastische piloten zouden het weten. We zullen wel zien. We houden het in het oog en u zal het als eerste weten.”

There were also reports that the objects could have been high-altitude balloons from Google. One of Alphabet Inc.’s subsidiaries is Loon, which uses balloons to bring internet access to rural and remote areas.
BIJZONDERE UFO WAARNEMING BOVEN ZEELAND, NEDERLAND
Wanneer je maar goed naar de lucht blijft kijken, dan heb je grote kans dat je bijzondere dingen ziet.
Zoals een dame in Zeeland die wat foto’s maakte van een naderend onweer.
Via een lezer ontvingen wij (dank!) het volgende bericht: Vanmorgen heeft een vriendin van mij om 7 uur enkele foto's genomen in Zeeland, waarvan op 1 foto een niet goed te traceren object bevind.
Misschien kunnen jullie dit beter zien door het uit te vergroten. De foto's zijn buiten vanaf balkon genomen.
1 foto zonder object. En 1 met object.
Gisteren in dit geval is woensdagmorgen toen de dag op veel plaatsen begon met fikse onweersbuien.
De eerste foto die je ziet is dan ook een dreigende lucht te zien van een naderende onweersbui.
Op de tweede foto valt uiterst rechts een vreemd object waar te nemen.
En wanneer je dit object helemaal uitvergroot, dan is er onmiskenbaar iets vreemds te zien.
Het ziet er uit als een ufo, maar of het ook inderdaad een onbekend vliegend object is, of iets anders is nog maar de vraag.
Enkele dagen geleden publiceerden wij een aantal bekende en minder bekende foto’s van Macchu Picchu met daarop eveneens onverklaarbare vliegende objecten.
Echter, volgens Edo uit Brabant (dank) is ook daar niet alles wat het lijkt, want hij schrijft het volgende:
In het laatste artikel van gisteren staan foto's die zeer waarschijnlijk een eenvoudige verklaring hebben.
Het licht op de 1e foto komt op mij over als een reflectie van een lampje in de trein op het raam waardoor de foto is gemaakt. Aan de verticale lichte banden op de foto is duidelijk te zien dat er zeker een raam-reflectie is. Ik heb zelf ook vaak foto's door ramen gemaakt, ik herken dat.
De 2e foto doet me denken aan een roofvogel in duik-vlucht.
De 3e foto zou een zwarte vogel kunnen zijn waar de zon op schijnt, ik vermoed een Andes-condor. Tevens kan er een afwijking zijn van een aantal pixels door het computerprogramma dat een bitmap-foto omrekent tot een jpg-foto die veel minder ruimte in beslag neemt op het geheugenkaartje. Bij een lage kwaliteit jpg-afbeelding is dat normaal, zeker op pixel-niveau en daar is hier sprake van. Het gebeurt doorgaans het duidelijkst op de grens van 2 kleuren die nogal verschillen.
De 4e foto doet me met meer zekerheid denken aan een Andes-condor (zwarte vogel met een witte nek).
De 5e foto zou een laaghangend wolkje kunnen zijn, het is in het hooggebergte en een foto van de zijkant van een kleine wolk is vaak sigaar-vormig. Op de foto is goed te zien dat deze is gemaakt vanaf ongeveer dezelfde hoogte als die 'sigaarvormige wolk'. Dat is zo omdat een wolk doorgaans langer en breder is dan dat die wolk hoog is.
Wanneer het allemaal waar is wat ik nu schrijf dan betekent dat natuurlijk niet dat er geen UFO-activiteit is in de Andes.
Het zou me niet verbazen wanneer die activiteit er daadwerkelijk ook is. Het is niet rationeel om het bestaan van UFO's te ontkennen, het is absurd en bekrompen om te denken dat de Aarde de enige plaats met leven is in het Universum, ook wanneer er geen bewijs voor buitenaards leven zou zijn.

Zeker weten doen we het waarschijnlijk nooit, maar een goede graadmeter is dat als je iets met je blote oog kunt zien, het veel aannemelijker is dat het een echte waarneming betreft dan wanneer het alleen op camerabeelden is te zien.
Trump & Congress briefed on US Navy Pilot UFO Sightings – The Connection to Space Force & Disclosure
President Trump and members of the US Congress have recently received briefings about US Navy pilot sightings of UFOs. When combined with the Pentagon acknowledging that it had created a classified program to study the UFOs from 2007 to 2012 with Congressional funding, the briefings are leading to increasing speculation on whether we are on the verge of official disclosure on UFOs and their true origin.
Furthermore, the briefings are occurring at the same time as legislation for the creation of a Space Force is making steady progress through Congress. This raises the intriguing question of whether Trump and members of Congress have been told Space Force is necessary to deal with UFOs being sighted by the Navy pilots which are being viewed by the Pentagon as a potential threat.
In an interview with ABC TV host, George Stephanopoulos, President Donald Trump admitted that he received a briefing about UFO sightings by US Navy pilots that occurred in 2004 and 2015. In a June 15 story titled: “Trump briefed on Navy UFO sightings,” Politico’s Matthew Choi wrote about what Trump told Stephanopoulos:
“I want them to think whatever they think,” Trump said of the Navy pilots. “I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”
Trump was here acknowledging that he doesn’t believe in UFOs, which has the connotation of being an extraterrestrial piloted spacecraft. Reading between the lines here, Trump is hinting that what the Navy pilots saw were not UFOs but something else that he and the Pentagon knew the answer to.
When asked the question of whether he knew of an extraterrestrial connection to the sightings, he told Stephanopoulos:
“I think our great pilots would know. And some of them see things a little bit different from the past. … We’re watching, and you’ll be the first to know.”
Trump appeared to be deflecting from what he really knew about the alien connection, but one thing he emphasized was that his administration is paying attention to what the Navy pilots have been reporting. Again, reading between the lines, Trump is saying that his administration is actively seeking answers to the UFO phenomenon, and when he finds out, he will relay this to Stephanopoulos and the general public.
A few days later on June 19, Politico ran a story where it discussed three US Senators that had also received classified briefings on the UFO sightings by Navy pilots. In “Senators briefed on Navy UFO sightings”,Bryan Bender wrote:
Three more U.S. senators received a classified Pentagon briefing on Wednesday about a series of reported encounters by the Navy with unidentified aircraft, according to congressional and military officials — part of a growing number of requests from members of key oversight committees.
One of them was Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, whose office confirmed the briefing to POLITICO.
“If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,” his spokesperson, Rachel Cohen, said in a statement.
Justifying their interest in the Navy pilot sightings as a “safety concern” is a convenient way for members of Congress to take an active interest in UFO reports, which have been officially dismissed and ridiculed for decades. This official policy goes back to 1953 when a CIA sponsored panel of scientists gave a damming report on UFO sightings that recommended a public education program to dismiss and ridicule UFO (aka flying saucer) sightings on national security grounds.
Ever since then UFO sightings have been reported by the mainstream press in a way that often mocks and ridicules the subject matter. What is very unusual today is that serving Navy pilots are given permission to talk about their sightings, and the press is giving their accounts serious attention in articles without any ridicule factor.
This is amply demonstrated in the many mainstream news stories that appeared after theNew York Times and Politico ran simultaneous articles about the Navy pilot UFO sightings back on December 16, 2017. Both newspapers discussed the pilots’ UFO sightings, leaked videos of the UFOs recorded by their planes instruments, and the connection of the sightings to the establishment of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) back in 2007 with Congressional funding of $22 million.
All this coincides with the formation of Space Force as a sixth branch of the US military, which is currently being debated by both houses of Congress. In the last few weeks, two Congressional defense committees have approved the passage of bills authorizing the creation of Space Force. It will take another month or two for both the House of Representatives and Senate to pass their respective bills, and to then resolve differences in language and priorities between the two versions for their inclusion into the National Defense Authorization Act for 2020.
One thing is becoming very clear, Space Force enjoys genuine bipartisan support in Congress, and this appears to be a result of the current media and Congressional interest in UFOs generated by Navy pilot reports and Pentagon disclosures about its AATIP program. Was Senator Warner, a Democrat, told by his Pentagon briefers that the UFOs sighted by the pilots were an unknown threat, and this is why Space Force is necessary?
A few weeks earlier, Senator Ted Cruz spoke about Space Force being necessary to deal with space pirates. He was not talking about extraterrestrial visitors, but rogue elements from different countries or corporations that could challenge US supremacy in space.
It’s not coincidental that members of Congress are being briefed about Navy pilot reports of UFOs that led to the Pentagon setting up its AATIP program in 2007. They are being told that UFOs are an unknown threat, at the same time as the Trump Administration and the Pentagon are pushing for the establishment of Space Force.
It’s widely expected that Space Force will be officially created and set up under the Department of Air Force in 2020, mirroring the relationship between the Department of the Navy and the US Marine Corps. After its official launch, the stage will be set for the Air Force to unveil the classified space technologies it has been covertly developing for decades in a secret space program, which is described in detail in my newly released book, US Air Force Secret Space Program: Extraterrestrial Alliances and Space Force.
Official disclosure is likely to unfold in different stages. The first will be that many UFO sightings involve classified technologies developed by the USAF, along with similar aerospace technologies developed by Russia and China. Disclosure of an Air Force secret space program will be an optimal way of surprising the US public with news about the different sized and shaped antigravity vehicles that have been deployed for several decades now.
The second stage of disclosure likely involves future announcements involving the capture and reverse engineering of non-terrestrial technologies that date back to the 1940s, as also described in the US Air Force Secret Space Program.
A sure sign of what lies ahead is a leaked document about Vice Admiral Tom Wilson, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, being denied access back in 1997 to a classified corporate program involving the reverse engineering of non-human made advanced technologies.
The leaked document identifies several scientists and former military officials who could be summoned before Congress to testify about their knowledge of such a reverse engineering program. Indeed the Pentagon official in charge of the AATIP program from 2007 to 2017, Luis Elizondo, gave an interview on Tucker Carlson on May 31 admitting that some UFO technologies had been retrieved and were being studied by the US government.
Carlson: Do you believe, based on your decade of serving in the US government on this question that the US government has in its possession any material from one of these aircraft?
Elizondo: I do. Yes.
Carlson: Do you think the US government has debris from a UFO in its possession right now?
Elizondo: Unfortunately Tucker I really have to be careful of my NDA [Non-Disclosure Agreement], I really can’t go into a lot of more detail than that …
Carlson: Okay.
Elizondo: But, ah, simply put, yes.
This would set in place a means by which the Pentagon and the Trump Administration could reveal how retrieved non-terrestrial technologies were used for the USAF for the research and development of advanced aerospace technologies using antigravity, torsion field and other exotic propulsion systems.
Finally, after Space Force has been created and its arsenal of antigravity spacecraft inherited from the USAF is publicly revealed, the truth about some of the extraterrestrials currently visiting our world can be announced. Extraterrestrial disclosure can be done in a way that does not undermine public confidence over the US and other national governments being able to defend their populations against any possible hostile extraterrestrial actions.
The widespread media attention given to US Navy pilot reports, the association of the UFOs with the AATIP program, and Congressional passage of legislation establishing Space Force are all sure signs of major disclosures that lie ahead.

The mysterious deaths of nine skier/hikers in the northern Ural Mountains of the former Soviet Union which have come to be known as the Dyatlov Pass Incident have been investigated, debated, covered up, exposed, re-investigated and blamed on everything from an avalanche to Yeti to military tests to aliens to forest spirits to anything and everything in-between. What is generally accepted is that the primary cause of their death was hypothermia … but why did they run out into the cold? A new video connects dots from other theories and comes up with a new one involving crazed deer.

It combines real photos from Igor Dyatlov’s team with a narration to build its case for what the makers of the video believe happened after the hikers became trapped on Mount Holatchakhl.
“Someone on duty saw a rocket in the sky and took a picture, which many received the lighted part of the frame.”
The first dots connected are a photo of a bright light in the sky which is linked to an actual launch of a military R-5M rocket at the same time on the same date. According to a document identified as the RVSN Handbook “on which the chronological index of rocket launches for the period 1947-1959 is published,” that particular launch “ended in an accident.” However, the consequences were far worse for the hikers on the mountain, one of whom photographed what may have been the flash.
“Not far from the tent at that time, according to the testimony of witnesses, Anyamov deer grazed. Frightened deer rushed in the direction of Mount Holatchahl. When a herd of deer runs into a snowstorm with a visibility of 1-2 meters, they stumble upon a tent of tourists, who receive fatal injuries when a three hundred pound carcass of a deer falls.”
There you have it. The flash of an aborted military rocket launch spooked a nearby herd of deer, causing them to severely panic (one headline used the word ‘rabid’ but it appears they meant ‘crazed’) and run in the darkness directly into the tents containing the hikers — who sustained some of the serious and puzzling injuries later found on the corpses — who then panicked themselves and cut their way out of the tents, walking and stumbling confused and wounded into the frigid darkness.
Plausible? Yes. Have these dots ever been connected in this way and that theory been presented before? That’s possible. Has anyone ever produced a video proposing it? No, which is why we’re talking about it now. While that scenario could explain the start of their end, what happened next to the hikers?
“What happened next and how the tourists died (as a result of frostbite) is described in detail in the materials of the criminal case.”
That’s not exactly true. While it’s been generally accepted that there was no crime associated with the deaths, there’s still no general agreement on the causes for the many strange circumstances found at the site over time and through various investigations.
It’s an interesting video and theory. It’s still a few dots shy of a proof.
Senators are now jumping on the UFO Disclosure wagon!
Three U.S. senators received a classified Pentagon briefing on Wednesday about UFOs and a series of reported encounters by the Navy with unidentified aircraft, according to congressional and government officials — part of a growing number of requests from members of key oversight committees writes New York Times and Politico.
“If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,” his spokesperson, Rachel Cohen, said in a statement.
The interest in “unidentified aerial phenomenon” has grown since revelations in late 2017 that the Pentagon had set up a program to study the UFO phenomenon.
The Navy has played a prominent role in light of the testimony of F/A-18 pilots and other personnel operating with the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier battle group off California in 2004 - 'the now famous Nimitz incident with the so-called 'Tic Tac' and the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Atlantic in 2015 and 2016 where strange craft would appear in their training airspace and persist there not for minutes, but many hours, or even days at a time.
These objects persisted, showing up at 30,000 feet, 20,000 feet, even sea level. They could accelerate, slow down and then hit hypersonic speeds.
And according to a New York Times article published on May 26th, 2019, Navy pilot Graves said that one time he almost hit one of these objects which was like a translucent sphere encasing a cube when it right past the cockpit.
The growing congressional interest is credited for playing a major role in the service’s recent decision to update the procedures for pilots and other personnel to report such unexplained sightings, which Politico first reported in April.
“In response to requests for information from Congressional members and staff, Navy officials have provided a series of briefings by senior Naval Intelligence officials as well as aviators who reported hazards to aviation safety,” the service said in a statement to Politico at the time.
The Navy had no immediate comment on Wednesday, and few details of the latest secret sessions were available.
They come several days after President Donald Trump told ABC News (video) that he, too, had been briefed on the reports. “I did have one very brief meeting on it,” he said. “But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

“There are people coming out of the woodwork,” said one former government official who has participated in some of the meetings. A current intelligence official added: “More requests for briefings are coming in.”
The sessions have been organized by the Navy but have also included staff from the under secretary of Defense for Intelligence, the sources said. Both were not authorized to talk publicly about the briefings.
Bright Orbs captured over Alegre next Porto Alegre International Airport, Brazil
On June 9, 2019 observer Marcelo Torres captured two bright orbs near Porto Alegre International Airport, Brazil.
Observer Marcelo says that he witnessed a bright yellow orb that emitted a light, then a second orb appears. The second orb even emitted a brighter light than the first one.
He states that he has filmed the two orbs from a great distance pointing to the fact that these orb are really big. He rules out that it was drone.

Thousands of eyewitness in Kansas City saw huge UFO orbs in the sky over the city two days ago. Even the local news recorded a few and posted to twitter what they had seen. This prompted DARPA to respond saying that they had released three lighter than air objects in the area. I believe since DARPA is a government agency that it is lying to the public and trying to cover up an actual UFO fleet over Kansas City. The US government will try anything and everything to cover up actual UFO sightings and here is 100% proof that they are doing it again here! There is no way that DARPA would ever be so incompetent and so irresponsible as to release giant balloons over the Kansas City airport. That would endangers dozens of flights with hundreds of passengers each. I know for a fact that DARPA would not do something so careless.

Youtube user Vasia has only six videos posted and only this one about UFOs, the others about life in his area. This makes me believe that although the clip is short, it is real.
The movement of the orbs which appear to almost have a flitter at times is exactly what I have seen in other orb reports from the past. The color, moment, size all fall into place. This...is a UFO fleet.
What happens is a single alfa orb comes down and starts spitting out smaller orbs at about one per 5 seconds. Each orb that exists moves out and then seems to wander for a few seconds before it gets its bering on things, then darts to a nearby cloud. Such orbs are watchers...they are programmed to record everything and anything they come close to. These orbs have a telepathic communication between each other and hear the focused thoughts of humans below. Absolutely amazing.
Beyond UFOs: What Are Navy Pilots Seeing in the Skies?

In recent weeks, several U.S. Navy fighter pilots have come forward to disclose encounters they experienced with unidentified flying objects while performing training missions off the U.S. East Coast in 2014 and 2015.
Both events have their share of witnesses; from highly trained fighter pilots to crew members aboard the Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Princeton and witnesses aboard an E-2C Hawkeye airborne early warning and control aircraft.
These men and women represent some of the most credible observers of what the Navy is now calling Anomalous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs).
According to reporting by Tyler Rogoway of The Drive “The main revelation is that technology exists that is capable of performing flying maneuvers that shatter our perceptions of propulsion, flight controls, material science, and even physics.”
Nimitz Encounter Proved Exotic Technology Thought of as Science Fiction Actually Exists
Rogoway emphasizes that “the Nimitz encounter with the Tic Tac proved that exotic technology that is widely thought of as the domain of science fiction actually exists. It is real. It isn’t the result of altered perception, someone’s lucid dream, a stray weather balloon, or swamp gas. Someone or some thing has crossed the technological Rubicon and has obtained what some would call the Holy Grail of aerospace engineering.”
Note:The “tic tac” is the nomenclature that the Navy pilots assigned to the AAVs since they looked like the popular breath mint.
For its part, the U.S. Navy has recently changed the way it handles AAV reporting, providing an official channel for servicemembers to report unidentified craft incursions into U.S. airspace. First reported by Politico, the previously unreported PR move is in response to a series of sightings of unknown, highly advanced aircraft intruding on Navy strike groups and other sensitive military formations and facilities.
This is a huge pivot from previous Pentagon public information; it represents a significant first step at destigmatizing what military aviators have been witnessing for decades. After all, if near-peer level adversaries like Russia or China have made the technological leap to aircraft that seemingly defy the laws of physics – and violate sensitive U.S. airspace at will – the U.S. military should want to know about it.
However, the simplest solution is often the right one: Is it more likely that we are being visited by an extremely advanced alien race whose motivations we are ill-equipped to understand? Or are the UFOs ours?
Allow me to present the argument against alien visitors:
The Black Budget
First, the United States has been pouring tens of billions of dollars a year into the so-called black budget since at least 1947. That budget funds black projects that are classified top secret, not itemized, and are used for intelligence operations and super-secret advanced military technologies.
In fact, in March President Trump announced a record-breaking $86 billion for the black budget for the fiscal year starting October 1.
While I was in the U.S. Air Force in 2005, I had the opportunity to chat with a visiting employee from Skunk Works, Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP). When I jokingly asked him what he was working on, not expecting a true response, he became very serious and said, “All I can tell you, Wes, is that Star Wars isn’t just a movie.”
Remembering this conversation years later still makes me giddy with excitement about our troops wielding lightsabers in combat. However, it is much more likely that he was referring to advances in aerospace engineering.
In an interview with Popular Mechanics, the late Skunk Works chief Ben Rich said, “There are some new programs, and there are certain things, some of them 20 or 30 years old, that are still breakthroughs and appropriate to keep quiet about [because] other people don’t have them yet.”
Disinformation Campaigns by the US Air Force and Pentagon
Next, the U.S. Air Force and the Pentagon have a long and storied history of performing disinformation campaigns, often using the deep pop culture roots of UFOs to hide advances in aerospace technology. When national security is on the line, it’s better to have the public believe they saw a UFO than disclose the newest breakthrough.
A report by the New York Times in 1997 shows that the CIA and the Air Force promoted UFOs to cover up sightings of their U2 and SR-71 spy planes.
The mysterious men in black, unknown individuals in suits who show up after credible UFO sightings, are none other than members of the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations. AFOSI is a cross between the CIA and the FBI; in fact, AFOSI was modeled after the FBI. The first commander of AFOSI was former FBI special agent Joseph Carroll. Among AFOSI’s unique mission is the security of technology and information, intelligence gathering and threat assessment, mitigation and elimination.
That makes sense because, in an open society like ours, where the government cannot easily control the flow of public information, disinformation is the only viable option to maintain a degree of secrecy. For its part, the AFOSI is an expert at controlling information.
An Ideal Testing Environment
Finally, it is crucial to note the parameters of the sightings by the Nimitz crew off Baja and more recently off the U.S. East Coast.
Both crews were operating in a sanitized training environment. The aircraft were not armed because no aircrews were expecting a fight and civilian traffic is largely diverted from active military ranges.
In addition, the Nimitz was fielding a massive new upgrade to an advanced radar system for the F/A-18 Super Hornet and also a new Cooperative Engagement Capability technology. That capability implemented datalink and sensor fusion technologies for the entire carrier group, which provided advanced fidelity in the radar picture.
Imagine taking radar and sensor data from all the ships and aircraft in a carrier group and combining it into a commanding real-time view of the battlefield. Such a massive upgraded system was being tested for the first time when the Nimitz had its first encounters with the now famous tic tac UFO.
It occurs to me that a sanitized training environment and an incredible new sensor upgrade create an ideal testing condition to see if our own team can spot top secret, undisclosed aircraft.
Some Questions Remain
If the unidentified craft are ours, why were they operating dangerously close to our fighters? The New York Times reports a near-miss, in which a pilot stated that an object appearing to be a sphere encased in a cube almost caused a mid-air collision:
He and other pilots interviewed said the near-miss angered the squadron and convinced them that the objects were not part of a classified drone program. Government officials would know fighter pilots were training in the area, the pilots reasoned, and would not send drones to get in the way.
The other issue is the physics-defying performance of the craft. No matter how good our team is at aerospace development, it’s unlikely we have found a way to break the laws of physics as we understand them. The New York Times report continues: “What was strange, the pilots said, was that the video showed objects accelerating to hypersonic speed, making sudden stops and instantaneous turns — something beyond the physical limits of a human crew.”
We also must ask ourselves if it is likely that the Russians or Chinese have made some astonishing breakthrough in aerospace engineering. According to an estimate by the Moscow-based Gaidar Institute, about 21% (3.2 trillion rubles) of the 2015 Russian federal budget was “black” (that is, not itemized). This represents a doubling of the budget from 2010.
No matter who is operating the craft, we are confronting an astonishing truth: Someone or some thing is operating aircraft that seem far more advanced than any known aerospace technology currently in existence; that they can penetrate U.S.-controlled airspace at will; and that there apparently is absolutely nothing we can do to stop them.
With the Navy’s new reporting guidelines, a hopeful first step has been taken to finally bring to bear the full might of the U.S. government’s investigative powers. If it is some top secret U.S. aerospace program, then congratulations are in order for such an incredible breakthrough. If it is an adversary, then the United States has a serious problem on its hands.
Regardless of the aircrafts’ source, I suspect that all the journalists covering this phenomenon will be receiving a visit from the men in black soon. Here’s hoping they go on the record.
Using a taxonomic approach, scientists have re-identified the huge birds drawn on the desert plains of Peru as hermits or pelicans.

A scientific approach has been used to re-identify huge birds etched into the desert plains of southern Peru around 2,000 years ago. The birds appear to be exotic to the region and further studies could help explain their significance. The study is published in the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports.
The lines and geoglyphs of Nasca and Palpa are located some 400 kilometers south of Lima, Peru and form a World Heritage Site covering an area of about 450 square kilometers. They were carved into the ground between 400 B.C.E and 1000 C.E. by pre-Inca people, and include lines, geometric designs, and animal and plant drawings. Most of these etchings are so large that they are best seen in aerial photographs. Identifying what they represent is an essential first step towards unraveling the mystery of why they were drawn in the first place.
Masaki Eda of The Hokkaido University Museum, Takeshi Yamasaki of Yamashina Institute for Ornithology, and Masato Sakai of Yamagata University in Japan applied an ornithological approach to identify the 16 bird geoglyphs among more than 2,000 drawings present in the area. “Until now, the birds in these drawings have been identified based on general impressions or a few morphological traits present in each figure. We closely noted the shapes and relative sizes of the birds’ beaks, heads, necks, bodies, wings, tails and feet and compared them with those of modern birds in Peru,” says Eda.
As a result of this approach, they re-classified a previously identified hummingbird (Geoglyph No. PV68A-CF1) as a hermit; and a guano bird (Geoglyph No. PV68A-GF3) and a previously unidentified bird (Geoglyph No. PV68-GF1) drawing as pelicans. Other bird drawings that are thought to be condors or flamingos did not have the essential characteristics to validate such identifications, but were too inconsistent with modern Peruvian birds to justify a new classification.
Due to its long and thin bill, short legs, three toes facing the same direction, and the long tail with an elongated middle section, the previously identified hummingbird (Geoglyph No. PV68A-CF1) is re-classified as a hermit. In Peru, long and pointed tails only occur in hermits whereas the tails of typical hummingbirds are forked or fan-shaped. (Eda M., Yamasaki T., Sakai M. Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports. Although the identified birds do exist in Peru, they are found in other parts of the country than where the drawings were made. Hermits, for example, are found in the forests on the eastern slopes of the Andes and in the north near Ecuador. Pelicans live along the coast.
“The Nasca people who drew the images could have seen pelicans while food-gathering on the coast. Our findings show that they drew exotic birds, not local birds, and this could be a clue as to why they drew them in the first place,” explains Eda.
Further comparisons with birds drawn around the same time on pottery and of bird remains excavated from Nasca ruins could help identify more of the birds depicted in the geoglyphs, the researchers say.

MYSTERIEUZE GEOGLIEFEN VAN VOGELS IN PERU OPNIEUW GECLASSIFICEERD

Een eerder benoemde kolibrie blijkt nu een lijster te zijn…
Tussen 400 en 1000 jaar voor Christus tekenden mensen uit de pre-inca beschaving reusachtige lijnen, figuren en tekeningen van dieren en planten op de grond: de zogenoemde Nazcalijnen. De lijnen en geogliefen zijn te vinden op de woestijnvlaktes in het zuiden van Peru. Waarom deze afbeeldingen in het zand werden gezet, is tot op de dag van vandaag een raadsel. Maar nu doen onderzoekers in een nieuwe studie een poging om het antwoord dichterbij te brengen.
Meer over de Nazcalijnen In het woestijnzand van de hoogvlakte van Peru zijn tientallen figuren van dieren, honderden geometrische vormen en duizenden lijnen terug te vinden. Vermoedelijk zijn deze zo’n 2000 jaar geleden aangebracht door Nazca- en Paraca-indianen. De Nazcalijnen zijn wereldberoemd en staan bovendien op de Werelderfgoedlijst. De lijnen en figuren beslaan een gebied met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 450 vierkante kilometer. De meeste van deze tekeningen zijn zo groot, dat ze het beste te zien zijn vanuit de lucht.
Mysterie Onder de vele figuren die in het zand zijn getekend, bevinden zich ook veel vogels. En daar waren de onderzoekers het meest in geïnteresseerd. Het begrijpen wat deze vogels precies voorstellen is namelijk essentieel om het mysterie van de Nazcalijnen te ontrafelen. Uiteindelijk hopen onderzoekers antwoord te krijgen op die ene vraag: waarom werden de figuren getekend?
Vogels In de studie namen de onderzoekers zestien geogliefen van vogels onder de loep. “Tot nu toe zijn deze tekeningen geïdentificeerd op basis van algemene indrukken of een paar morfologische eigenschappen in elk figuur,” zegt onderzoeker Masaki Eda. Maar dat is volgens de onderzoeker toch echt te gering. “Wij hebben de vormen en maten van de snavels, koppen, halzen, lichamen, vleugels, staarten en voeten vergeleken met die van moderne vogels in Peru.”
Vanwege de lange en dunne snavel, korte benen, drie tenen in dezelfde richting en de lange staart met een langwerpig middengedeelte, wordt de eerder benoemde kolibrie opnieuw geclassificeerd als een lijster.

Herzien Op die manier lukte het de onderzoekers om een beter beeld te krijgen van de vogels en een aantal ervan opnieuw te classificeren. Zo is een eerder geïdentificeerde kolibrie nu als lijster aangemerkt en een voorheen onbekende vogel benoemd tot pelikaan. Helaas lukte het niet om alle vogels onder te brengen. Zo blijkt dat tekeningen van mogelijke condors of flamingo’s niet voldoen aan de essentiële kenmerken. Maar de tekeningen verschilden teveel met moderne Peruaanse vogels om ze een nieuwe naam te geven.
Aanwijzing Hoewel de opnieuw geïdentificeerde vogels wel in Peru voorkomen, leven ze niet op de plekken waar de tekeningen zijn gemaakt. Zo worden lijsters bijvoorbeeld aangetroffen in bossen op de oostelijke hellingen van de Andes en in het noorden bij de grens met Ecuador, en leven Pelikanen langs de kust. De vraag is dus of de mensen die de figuren hebben getekend zich daadwerkelijk door echte vogels hebben laten inspireren. “Het zou mogelijk zijn dat de mensen die de tekeningen hebben gemaakt tijdens het verzamelen van voedsel aan de kust, pelikanen hebben gezien,” betoogt Eda. “Onze bevindingen tonen aan dat ze exotische vogels hebben afgebeeld, geen lokale vogels. En dit kan een aanwijzing zijn waarom ze de tekeningen maakten.”
Op dit moment blijft het mysterie dus nog onopgelost. Maar wellicht komen we stapje voor stapje dichterbij. Zo zijn soortgelijke vogels teruggevonden op aardewerk en ook in ruïnes van Naszca zijn vogelresten opgegraven. Deze vondsten zouden kunnen helpen bij het identificeren van meer geogliefen waar vogels op staan afgebeeld.
De Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter heeft een nogal opvallende foto afgeleverd. Zo kwam de ruimtesonde met onderstaande afbeelding van het oppervlak van Mars op de proppen. En inderdaad, je hebt er niet eens zo heel veel verbeelding voor nodig om er het logo van Starfleet uit Star Trek in te herkennen! Volgens NASA is het echter puur toeval.
Duinen De merkwaardige vorm dook op in het zuidoosten van de Hellas Planitia op de rode planeet. Volgens onderzoekers zou het ontstaan zijn door een wisselwerking tussen duinen, lava en zand. Zo waren er lang geleden halvemaanvormige duinen, die door het gebied bewogen. Een eruptie zorgde voor lava dat langs – maar niet over – de duinen stroomde. Nadat de lava stolde, staken de duinen er bovenuit als eilandjes. Uiteindelijk werd het zand door de wind weggeblazen, waardoor de bijzondere afdrukken in de lavavlakte zijn achtergebleven.
NASA Maar voor wie fan is van Star Trek, is de echte reden voor de opvallende duin-formatie natuurlijk maar bijzaak. Ook NASA grapt in een Tweet over de gelijkenissen met het logo van Starfleet en gooit er ook nog wat woordgrapjes over de Star Trek schepen Enterprise en Discovery in.
Brein Toch is het zien van het Star Trek-logo slechts een illusie. Een psychisch verschijnsel, dat ook wel pareidolie wordt genoemd. Ons brein is namelijk sterk geneigd om verbanden te leggen en patronen te zien. Dat komt vooral goed van pas bij het herkennen van vormen die op eventueel gevaar kunnen wijzen, zoals bijvoorbeeld het silhouet van een roofdier. Soms loopt ons brein echter een beetje te hard van stapel en ziet het verbanden of patronen die er niet zijn. Zo zien sommige mensen allerlei dieren in wolken, een gezichtje in de maan, of natuurlijk een Star Trek-logo op het oppervlak van Mars.
Het is trouwens niet voor het eerst dat er bekende figuren op de rode planeet worden gespot. Vorig jaar zag NASA bijvoorbeeld ook al de muppet Beaker op Mars voorbijkomen. En nee, ook deze is helaas niet door marsmannetjes in het zand getekend.

The Fermi Paradox, first introduced by physicist Enrico Fermi, asks the question, “Where is everybody?” Or, more specifically, “Where are all the aliens?”
When we factor in the size of the universe, the number of Earth-like planets, and a range of other variables (as outlined in the Drake equation), there should be tens of thousands or more extraterrestrial civilizations in the galaxy. And with the galaxy being around 10 billion years old, scientists say that intelligent worlds have had plenty of time to contact one another. So if aliens should statistically exist, why haven’t we encountered any yet?
10.Earth Is Special
The Rare Earth Hypothesis suggests that the chain of events that created life on this planet was so complex that only a biological perfect storm could recreate it elsewhere. While there may be Earth-like planets, none of them have exactly what it takes for intelligent life to develop. In other words, we haven’t met any aliens, because none are out there, or they are so few and far between that contact is highly improbable.
The major factor that makes Earth so hospitable to life is its long period of relatively stable climatic conditions, which is due to the planet’s unique orbit and position. Without our precise distance from the Sun and Moon, the planet would likely be too hot or cold, have too little oxygen, and be too unstable to support any life beyond bacteria.
Paleontologist Peter Ward and astronomer Donald Brownlee were the first to introduce the Rare Earth Hypothesis. Even though nearly 15 years have passed since they publicized the theory, and Earth-like planets have since been detected, they are still confident that the odds of those worlds having life are extraordinarily low.
9. All Intelligent Life Hits A Stumbling Block
According to the Great Filter theory, alien life does exist, but intelligent life is incapable of technologically advancing enough for long-distance space communication or travel. Although our modern spaceships, satellites, and radios may make it seem like we’re getting closer, we’ll inevitably reach a barrier or catastrophe that will either wipe us out or cause technology to devolve.
We know cataclysmic natural disasters periodically strike Earth, so it’s possible that these types of events hit worlds everywhere, sending intelligent life back to the Stone Age before technology can adequately develop. Or, maybe we annihilate ourselves, such as through nuclear war. Whatever the filter is, it seems to mean nothing but bad news for humans. Not only will we never communicate with space beings—we’ll probably die trying.
However, there is one possible bright side. Some think that we are the first individuals to make it past the filter, so we’ll eventually be the first super-intelligent beings to roam space.
8. They’ve Moved Out Of The Universe
According to futurist John Smart’s Transcension Hypothesis, intelligent alien life once existed in our universe, yet it became so advanced that it moved on to greener pastures. More specifically, aliens became so evolved that they stopped looking at outer space and instead focused on inner space.
The concept can be compared to the miniaturization we’ve experienced in computers. What initially began as an enormous, room-filling technology progressively became smaller (even pocket-sized) while simultaneously growing in complexity and power. To Transcension supporters, intelligent life evolves in much the same way, constantly working toward a denser, more efficient use of space, time, energy, and matter (“STEM compression“). Eventually, we’ll be living and operating at the nano-scale until we become so small that we create and exist in a black hole outside this space-time continuum.
To Smart and others, black holes are the ultimate destination. They allow for ideal computing and learning, time travel, energy harvesting, and more. Civilizations that don’t achieve this destiny are failures.
Other cosmic beings may be working toward their own transcendence. Like humans, they might emit space broadcasts, but these types of signals are supposedly the work of immature civilizations and are unlikely to be successful. Also, based on Moore’s Law (that computing power doubles every two years), these beings would likely reach transcendence before exploring the cosmos.
7. Earth Isn’t As Great As We Think
Perhaps it’s hubris to think that aliens would even have an interest in us or our planet. Worlds far more interesting and life-supporting may exist, and intelligent beings would much rather spend their time focusing on super-habitable places rather than Earth. This theory is the complete opposite of the Rare Earth theory—Earth isn’t special at all.
An alien race capable of traveling or communicating across light years would no more care about chitchatting with us than a human would converse with a fly. Likewise, they’d undoubtedly have their own superior technologies and would not require any of our measly resources. If, however, they did need to harvest minerals or elements, they wouldn’t have to visit Earth. Those things are found floating all over space.
Furthermore, no matter how intelligent the beings, traveling across light years is no easy feat. What are the odds they’d invest all that energy coming here when there are 8.8 billion Earth-like planets in the Milky Way? For followers of this theory, to think Earth is everyone’s destination is to suffer from the same geocentrism that led to Galileo’s erroneous persecution.
6. We’re Living In A Virtual Reality
Arguably one of the most difficult to accept explanations to the Fermi Paradox is the Planetarium Hypothesis. Our world is a “form of virtual reality ‘planetarium,’ designed to give us the illusion the universe is empty.” We haven’t discovered any extraterrestrial life because those extraterrestrials haven’t designed that into the program.
The fundamentals of this theory date back to Descartes, who asked, “How can we know that the world around us is real—are we just a brain in a vat, which thinks it’s living in the real world?”
Instead of being brains in a vat, however, most modern supporters of this notion think we’re in a computer simulation designed by advanced aliens. These aliens are capable of harnessing enough energy to manipulate matter and energy on galactic scales. Why would the aliens want to watch us like ants in a farm? Maybe just for fun, or maybe they just made us to see if they could.
As unlikely as the Planetarium Hypothesis may sound, professional philosophers and physicists are serious about this idea. They say that we’re more likely to be artificial intelligences in a fabricated world than to have our own minds. Furthermore, we will likely discover the simulation, since we’ll inevitably notice a glitch in the system or devise an adequate test to prove the theory.
5. We Live In The Cosmic Boonies
Although intelligent alien life might exist, our planets may be too far apart to make communication practical or purposeful. Earth may be so far away from other inhabited planets that we’ve simply been overlooked. If that doesn’t feel lonely enough, some claim most other worlds exist relatively close together in clusters and are interacting with each other, while we’re off in cosmic no-man’s-land missing out on the party.
The roots of this idea come from a mathematical theory known as percolation, which describes how things clump in a random environment. Based on the percolation theory, the universe naturally formed with areas of large clustered growth and a few smaller areas of growth in outlier positions. Other intelligent beings are in the big cluster, and Earth is an isolated outlier.
Instead of trying to make contact with these faraway beings, some, like Stephen Hawking, suggest that we continue to lie low. Hawking says that if we pick up on an alien signal, “We should be wary of answering back, until we have evolved.” Otherwise, we may suffer a fate akin to the Native Americans after Columbus arrived.
Scientists like Frank Drake and the late Carl Sagan have argued the “absence of evidence is very different from evidence of alien absence.” Alien hunting has been held back by lack of government funding, which is necessary to afford extensive alien-tracking equipment and resources. Historically, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) programs have had to rely on borrowed radio telescopes and other equipment, which they could only use for a limited time. These hindrances have made it virtually impossible to make any real progress.
Still, there is some good news—at least for those who think making alien contact is a good idea. The Allen Telescope Array, a radio telescope array specially designed to search for extraterrestrial intelligence, became operational in 2007. This mega-telescope (consisting of 42 individual 6-meter-wide (20 ft) telescopes) was largely funded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. After numerous setbacks, it finally seems ready to begin doing some serious space exploration. If anything on Earth is capable of picking up alien signals, this is the device.
3. We Can’t Recognize Their Signals
Even if other planets are hospitable to life, would the beings there evolve similarly to living things on Earth? Maybe they are so different that neither of us would recognize a signal from the other. Comparable to how bats visualize sound waves while we only see light, it’s possible that humans and aliens operate with entirely different senses.
As cosmologist and astrophysicist Lord Rees pointed out, “They could be staring us in the face, and we just don’t recognize them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology. I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive.”
Things get especially tricky when trying to connect with a highly advanced race because they might use communication methods (such as neutrinos or gravitational waves) beyond our technological understanding. Likewise, our primitive radio emissions might look like nothing more than white noise to them. If aliens and people are indeed extremely unalike, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever make contact and solve the Fermi paradox—especially so long as we’re anthropomorphizing aliens and expecting them to communicate as we do.
2. Super-Organisms Are Inherently Suicidal
The Medea Hypothesis, coined by paleontologist Peter Ward, is the notion that humans and other super-organisms carry within themselves the seeds of self-destruction. In this way, it very much ties in with the Great Filter theory, since it suggests that we end up dying before evolving enough to make alien contact.
The hypothesis is named after the murderous Medea from Greek mythology, who killed her own children. In this case, the planet is Medea, and all living things are her offspring. We don’t want to die, but Mother Earth made us destined to kill ourselves. Extinction is built into our biology to ensure that we are eliminated before we create too much of an imbalance on Earth. Once humans become an incurable plague on the planet, we will do something to guarantee our own demise.
Ward believes that almost all previous mass extinctions were brought on by living organisms. For instance, he blames the two Snowball Earth periods from millions of years ago on plants that proliferated so wildly that they absorbed excessive amounts of CO2. This brought about global cooling and consequently the plants’ demise. Similarly, if humans really are the root of today’s climate change, we may be well on the way to guaranteeing that our own species can’t survive on the planet.
In short, our internal suicidal clock will run out long before we get the chance to connect with aliens.
1. They Walk Among Us
It sounds like science fiction, yet people in prominent positions are confident that aliens live and work all around us. For example, former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer gave an interview in 2014 in which he claimed that 80 different species of alien life live on Earth. Some of them (including Nordic blondes) look nearly identical to humans. Another group, the “Short Greys,” appear more like stereotypical aliens and stay relatively hidden from the general population.
Hellyer is not alone in his claims. Physicist Paul Davies from Arizona State University and Dr. Robert Trundle from Northern Kentucky University have similar opinions about the existence of aliens on the planet. To Hellyer, Davies, Trundle, and those who share their beliefs, the Fermi paradox has already been answered—aliens do exist, and whether humans realize it or not, they interact with us on a daily basis.
Despite experiencing a great deal of criticism from their peers and the public, these men continue to be outspoken in their opinions.
'No explanation': Flying objects over Kansas City leave locals suspecting aliens

Flying objects over Kansas City on Thursday night sparked the interest of locals and — for a while — had stumped people looking for answers.
KMBC 9 in Kansas City said on Twitter it had fielded "several calls" regarding two strange orbs floating over Kansas City International Airport.
A few watchers suspected weather balloons. The National Weather Service in Kansas City was deadpan in its response to that notion.
That tweet drew more than 600 replies, many of them people suspecting aliens.
The TV station joined in the speculation and launched a poll to see which would be more intriguing to alien visitors: NFL MVP and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes or some Kansas City barbecue.
Mahomes won.
In the end, KMBC reporter William Joy appears to have solved the mystery. He tweeted that a spokesperson from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency told him, "given the position, it is likely one of their balloons in test flight."
According to its website, DARPA's mission is "to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security."
DARPA tweeted on June 18 it had launched three balloons from Maryland as part of its Adaptable Lighter Than Air program.
"The goal of the Adaptable Lighter Than Air (ALTA) program is to develop and demonstrate a high altitude lighter-than-air vehicle capable of wind-borne navigation over extended ranges," the agency said on its website.
"The balloons can fly at altitudes of more than 75,000 feet. While they do not have independent propulsion, the ALTA vehicle is designed to navigate by changing altitude and thus taking advantage of different wind profiles aloft. A state-of-the-art Winds Aloft Sensor (WAS) is also being developed on the program, which is intended to provide real time stratospheric wind measurements.

There are even more potentially habitable planets near Earth than we ever imagined. A research team discovered two Earth-like planets in our cosmic backyard, and they're located in the perfect zone for water to form on their presumably rocky surfaces.
The planets orbit a sun known as "Teegarden's star," which is only 12.5 light-years from Earth. (A light-year is the distance that light travels in a year, or roughly 6 trillion miles or 10 trillion kilometers.) The two planets look an awful lot like Earth and our neighboring worlds, the researchers said.
"The two planets resemble the inner planets of our solar system," lead author Mathias Zechmeister, a research scientist at the Institute for Astrophysics at the University of Göttingen in Germany, said in a statement. "They are only slightly heavier than Earth and are located in the so-called habitable zone, where water can be present in liquid form."

The results were obtained as part of the CARMENES search for exoplanets; CARMENES stands for "Calar Alto high-Resolution search for M dwarfs with Exoearths with Near-infrared and optical Échelle Spectrographs."
According to that project's observations, the newly found worlds orbit their parent star with periods of roughly five days and 11 days, respectively. That's very quick compared to planets orbiting our own sun (even Mercury takes 88 days for a single circuit), but Teegarden's star is an M dwarf — a type of star that produces less light and energy than our own sun. Any potentially habitable worlds would be found huddled closer to this star than Earth is to the sun, or their water would freeze. Thus, their orbits would be quicker.
More planets could be lurking in Teegarden's star's solar system, the research team added, as many stars have more than a couple of planets orbiting them. The research team tried to find more evidence of planets using the "transit" method, which looks for subtle dips of brightness as a world passes in front of its star.
The scientists didn't detect any transits, but they did point out a coincidence of cosmic geometry: Any potential inhabitants on the newfound planets could use the transit method to see Earth. That's because from the vantage point of Teegarden's star, Earth orbits its sun at just the right angle to transit across the face of our star, allowing any astronomers "out there" to spot us as we pass by.
Donald Trump was recently asked about UFOs, and he hinted towards the fact that he's not really a believer, despite the fact that the reality of these objects can no longer be denied.

Talking about the existence of UFOs is no longer taboo. It’s gone quite mainstream, and it appears that it’s not really a question of belief. There is more evidence for the existence of UFOs than there is evidence for many things humanity accepts as 100 percent real.
This evidence comes in the forms of actual military and commercial radar trackings of UFOs, videos and pictures of UFOs that’ve been released by multiple governments, and statements from hundreds of the highest ranking military personnel from across the world about UFOs being far more technologically capable than any aircraft on Earth.
Furthermore, we’ve had mainstream UFO disclosure. For example, Christopher Mellon, who served 30 years in the federal government and was Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Intelligence from 1997to 2002, has published multiple articles on mainstream media outlets like the Washington Post and New York Times about the reality of these objects and the need for governments to take them seriously.
Mellon’s Washington Post article detailed a number of extremely credible UFO encounters with the military. But again, this isn’t new information. In the 1950s, President Harry Truman went on national television announcing to the world that UFOs are real, and that they discuss the topic at every conference that they have with the military, that “there’s always things like that going on, flying saucers and they’ve had other things.” (source)

Was He Lying? Important Points To Consider
Being a UFO researcher for approximately 15 years myself, one thing has become quite clear to me and others in this field who have looked into the subject in depth: This topic goes far beyond the knowledge of the highest ranking people within the government, including the President. We are talking about Special Access Programs (SAP). From these, we have unacknowledged and waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. They are better known as ‘deep black programs.’ A 1997 US Senate report described them as “so sensitive that they are exempt from standard reporting requirements to the Congress.”(source)

One of the latest “proofs” of this came in the form of a testimony from Dr. Edgar Mitchell. It was a video testimony within UFO researcher Dr. Steven Greer’s “Sirius” documentary, where Mitchell details a meeting him and Greer had with Amiral Thomas Ray Wilson, who was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, regarding extraterrestrial space crafts and “crash retrieval” programs. What’s interesting is that a document was just leaked detailing notes from the well known scientist Dr. Eric Davis, who had a meeting with Wilson in 2002 regarding that specific meeting and what happened after it.
The document shows how Admiral Wilson was denied access to information about crash retrieval programs about downed extraterrestrial craft. This would mean crafts that were either shot down or who had potentially crash landed. (not sure what this means! like an extraterrestrial craft that was shot down? Please rephrase for clarity! thanks!)
It now makes sense why Paul Hellyer, former Canadian Defence Minister, said thatthe protocol with regards to these objects is to “shoot first and ask questions after.”
The document outlines how defense contractors have more knowledge regarding this subject, more so than the highest ranking people within the government. The document doesn’t include specific names but states, in this case, a popular aerospace contractor.

So, we are talking about your Bigelow’s and your Lockheed Martins. When I think about Bigelow aerospace, I think about the comments made by its CEO Robert Bigelow, stating that he has knowledge that extraterrestrials are and have been visiting our planet. When I think about Lockheed Martin, two former directors come to mind who have pretty much said the same thing: Ben Rich (former Lockheed Skunkworks Director) and To The Stars Academy’s (TTSA) Steve Justice, who was a Lockheed Aerospace Director.
The point is that Donald Trump probably knows very little about this topic, as with most presidents before him. It is controlled by a power that goes far beyond the government, perhaps by an international group of ‘powerful’ people with tremendous amounts of resources. One thing is certain: The private contractors definitely have more knowledge, as they are the ones that work with these crafts and perhaps even reverse engineer them and what not. But again, there are those above them that probably control this issue.
Trump may be telling the truth. He could be sharing how he feels, and he may not have come across information that convinced him, or he could be lying and thinking about the upcoming election as well – playing politics if you will.
Either way, the reality is that the existence of UFOs cannot be denied, so it’s surprising that Trump would make such comments.
The Takeaway
Some people believe that all of this is a hoax. The trust is that’s what the elite wanted us to think for so long. The subject has long been branded as a “conspiracy” theory, with high ranking officials like the very first director of the CIA, Roscoe Hillenoetter, admitting that:
Behind the scenes, high ranking air force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe that the unknown flying objects are nonsense. (source)
Today, there’s been a complete flip flop in opinions, and the subject is now slowly but surely being acknowledged. Some people believe this is part of the elite’s plan to create a false flag alien invasion and/or control the narrative in a certain way. We have yet to see that.
At the end of the day, the idea that other life forms are and have been visiting us dates back thousands of years. It has huge implications and leaves no aspect of humanity untouched. We still, however, have a lot to uncover/discover.

The photo right above was captured by the Curiosity Rover’s right-hand navigation camera , currently deployed on Mars and on route to Mount Sharp, which shows a striking flare of light seemingly torching near the horizon. Taken on April 4th, the photo somehow made its way to the general public (bad idea NASA) and stirred international turmoil back on Earth, where ufologists dissected and scrambled the photo on all its sides. Clearly, this is proof that artificial light sources exist on Mars, and who else than Martian could have made them? The truth may actually be much simpler.
The couple of meters tall flare is evidence that may indicate that there is intelligent life on Mars, which lives underground, that uses light sources similarly to us humans, says Scott Waring, a ufologist who runs the fantastic UFO Sightings Daily website. So what does NASA have to say about all this? The agency said that these sort of flares, albeit maybe not this large or striking, appear in photos and video streams a few times every month, and that there various reason why this may happen: sunlight beaming off a sharp rock with Curiosity’s camera facing it just at the right angle, sunlight striking the CCD imaging sensor directly through a hole in the camera’s housing or, unlikely enough, a a high-powered cosmic ray picking that exact moment to strike the sensor.
NASA’s policy of dealing with conspiracy theories is the same like dealing with terrorists: no negotiation. Ideally, the rover could have gone straight to the flare’s location and investigate, but the Curiosity mission is not some child’s play science project. It’s a multi-billion project whose primary goal is that of finding evidence or signs of present or past life on Mars – this flare doesn’t count, and the team at the Jet Propulsion Lab need to stick to their plan if they’re chances of success are not to fall. The rover is currently on route to the base of Mount Sharp, where it will continue its investigations, but even on this course, which has been extensively mapped and configured for maximum safety, there are perils – sharp stones that can perforate its wheels, loose stones that can trap the machine and more. With so much at stake, no one feels like risking it all for some old wives’ tale.
Also, to further enlighten conspiracy theorists I present exhibit B. While the first shot was taken by Curiosity’s right-hand CCD, the one below was taken exactly one second after with the left-hand navigation camera. The ghostly flare has vanished and went back whence it came.

Evidence of Major Cataclysm on Mars Which Would Have Destroyed any Life
Analysis of data collected by the Mars Curiosity Rover revealed evidence of a past cataclysmic event that would have ended all life on the surface of the red planet. The event could have involved intense volcanic activity, or been the result of a massive collision with a meteor, asteroid or planet. Either way, this catastrophe ultimately demolished the Martian atmosphere.
When Planets Collide, Bad Things Happen
With the information provided by the Curiosity Rover, we now know that Mars possessed an atmosphere rich in oxygen about four billion years ago. The Curiosity also found proof that water saturates the Martian soil, and that at some time in the distant past liquid water flowed freely on the planet’s surface.
This all suggests that conditions on Mars billions of years ago would have been favourable for the development of life. Whether it possessed these conditions long enough for life to actually evolve remains uncertain. Since the solar system itself is estimated to be about 4.5 billion years old, the time frame would have been condensed and it’s possible that only simple life forms would have had time to appear.
What is known for sure is that approximately four billion years ago, something dramatic and catastrophic occurred that changed things on Mars forever. Scientists studying Curiosity data were able to deduce this through measurements of the existing Mars atmosphere, which revealed the presence of two different forms of the gas argon. One form was quite primitive and ancient, while the other was created more recently through radioactive decay.
There were significant differences in the ratios of the two gases compared to what exists on Earth. The best way to explain these differences, planetary scientists say, was if Mars had experienced some sort of atmosphere-killing event in the distant past. This would explain shortages of the older argon gas.
Volcanic activity could have caused such upheaval. But Dr. Christopher Webster, from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, examined the Curiosity date thoroughly and as of now leans toward the collision hypothesis.
“Possible impact by a Pluto-sized body is thought to have stripped much of the atmosphere from the planet,” Dr. Webster explains. “Since then, the atmosphere has developed as a balance between volcanic injection and loss into space.”
In the first 500-700 million years of our solar system’s existence, Earth, Mars and other existing bodies were subject to constant bombardment by large chunks of space debris. These included massive asteroids and rogue planetoids that careened madly about the inner half of the solar system, occasionally slamming into Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and the Moon with tremendous force. This period of time is known as the Late Heavy Bombardment , and if a Pluto-sized body did indeed smash into Mars it could have laid waste to the planet’s atmosphere quite easily.
The Volcanic Hypothesis
The collision theory has merit, and it could explain why Mars apparently lost its atmosphere so quickly. But recent discoveries have provided new ammunition for those who believe volcanic activity was most responsible for destroying the Martian atmosphere.
In May 2018, two planetary scientists from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Lujendra Ojha and Dr. Kevin Lewis, published the results of their study of a region of Mars known as the Medusae Fossae Formation . This expanse of light, porous rock once covered an area of more than five million square kilometres, and after close analysis Drs. Ojha and Lewis concluded that it was composed of ignimbrite, a form of volcanic rock created by the sudden cooling of volatile volcanic gases exposed to the air.
The Medusae Fossae Formation is one of the largest sedimentary deposits on Mars. This is an infrared image mosaic generated using Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) images from NASA’s Mars Odyssey orbiter mission; the small colored globe based on the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA).

“The Medusae Fossae was deposited during explosive volcanic eruptions more than three billion years ago,” they wrote, in the May 2018 edition of the Journal for Geophysical Research: Planets . “The eruptions that created the deposit could have spewed massive amounts of climate-altering gases into the Martian atmosphere and ejected enough water to cover the planet in a global ocean more than nine centimetres thick.”
Based on the results of their study, they concluded that Mars was far more active in its interior than previously believed. If volcanic activity had been as extensive as their research suggests, it could explain why the Martian atmosphere went through such radical changes and why it is composed of more than 95 percent carbon dioxide today (volcanoes release prodigious quantities of CO2).
Martian Apocalypses Both Real and Imagined
Interestingly, in 1909 scientists observing Mars through telescopes became convinced they were seeings signs of an apocalypse in action. An article entitled “ Life on Mars Ended by a Cataclysm ” appeared in the October 28 th, 1909 edition of the New York Times, describing the terrible scene supposedly unfolding on the Martian surface.
“A gloomy yellow veil has enshrouded immense tracts of the Martian surface,” wrote British scientists in the Journal of the British Astronomical Association. They claimed this veil had completely covered surface markings identified by famed American astronomer Percival Lowell as a network of canals built by a race of intelligent beings. The spreading of the yellow cloud followed closely on the heels of the observed cracking of the planet’s southern ice cap, and this led some to conclude that massive earthquakes, magnetic storms or volcanic activity had destroyed Martian society for good.
To their credit, many scientists dismissed this theory—and the idea that Mars was inhabited—even at the time. Ultimately, Lowell’s conclusions about the canals of Mars were proven false by direct observation. It is interesting to note, however, that Percival Lowell is still regarded as one of the founding fathers and leading lights of 20 th century astronomy. It seems that Mars has the capacity to evoke a sense of wonder and possibility in even the most highly-trained scientific observers.
More recently, plasma physicist John Brandenburg has received much attention for his assertion that a thermonuclear war on Mars wiped out life on the planet 180 million years ago. Brandenburg cites the existence of radioactive elements in the Martian soil and atmosphere as proof of this nuclear catastrophe.
“The Martian surface is covered with a thin layer of radioactive substances, including uranium, thorium and radioactive potassium,” he notes. Brandenburg points to elevated readings of the gas Xenon-129 in the Martian atmosphere as the most important evidence in support of his theory, since Xenon-129 is a rare substance which is typically found in the fallout of nuclear explosions.
Most scientists who’ve studied Martian chemistry believe the Xenon-129 in the planet’s atmosphere was created by cosmic ray bombardment. They reject Brandenburg’s nuclear war scenario, which like Lowell’s theory of Martian canals seems to be built on too little evidence and too much speculation.
Predictably, Brandenburg has been dismissed as a crank by many. But he has worked for multiple scientific and educational institutions during a long and successful career, and like Lowell his scientific credentials are impeccable.
The Truth is Out There… Maybe Way Out There
Whether certain theories about Mars are accepted or rejected, invalidated or confirmed, one thing has become clear. Mars is a dynamic planet that has gone through profound changes The Mars of long ago was a dramatically different place than the Mars of today. It seems that conditions favourable to life did once exist on the planet, and that makes it impossible not to wonder if Mars once was inhabited. And if so, by whom or by what?
For the sake of argument, let’s suppose that extraterrestrial life did exist on Mars when there was an atmosphere. And let’s suppose they were at least as advanced than our civilization today. What would they have done if they knew or suspected a cataclysm was coming?
Would they have developed some plan of escape, perhaps underground or off-world to a nearby planet or moon (like the Earth, for example)? If they were far more advanced than us, could they have transported themselves to another dimension or plane of existence, possibly preserving the ability to visit this dimension on occasion?
These are obviously science fiction scenarios, and we have no proof of their validity. But our capacity to look back billions of years into the past is severely limited by the nature of our instrumentation. Consequently, there will always be a degree of speculation involved in such an endeavor. If we limit our imaginations, we may be ill-equipped to comprehend the possibilities of a limitless universe.

Is this any way to manage and/or (yes, it’s an and/or question these days) protect our airspace? While one side of the world is on the brink of warfare because no one can agree on the exact location where a jet-sized drone was located before being shot down, people in Missouri are in misery after witnessing two mysterious orbs fly over Kansas City and neither the police nor the weather service nor the news media nor the FAA nor the military (at least initially) seemed to know what they were. Flying Tic Tacs get their own television shows and New York Times investigations but flying Altoids get no respect. This is why the UFOlogy world continues to demand answers. What ARE those things up there?

These are not the orbs you’re looking for but the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City which is home to the world’s largest shuttlecocks.
A number of videos of the orbs, spotted in the evening of June 20, were posted to the Internet. (View one of the videos here.) After checking with the weather service and getting no answer, the Twitter-verse went wild (aliens, Google balloons, aliens, an invasion, aliens …) while the media checked with the usual suspects, including DARPA. This no longer requires a secret phone number or a clandestine insider … DARPA has a Twitter account too.

That was confirmed by StratoCat, an Argentine website that tracks and catalogs balloon launches, which also provided a link to the FLightRadar24 website, where everyone (except the people who really need to know) can track known flights and balloons and other things in the airspace. Doesn’t the National Weather Service have better things to do than explain non-weather UFOs?
It’s amazing that in this age of real hypersonic planes and alleged faster and more maneuverable flying triangles that we’re still depending on and testing more space balloons. It’s even more amazing DARPA can’t be a little more proactive and let those on the ground know about what might be mysteriously appearing in the sky … unless that’s part of the plan. Do they want to see what a real UFO panic will look like? Do they want to see if anyone has developed drones or amateur surface-to-air missiles that can reach their balloons? Stranger things have happened.

Pacheco, who started StratoCat in 2005 after being inspired by a UFO sighting over Buenos Aires in 1985 that he and many other Argentines believed was an alien spaceship but turned out to be … you guessed it … a balloon. While not all UFOs are balloons, it has been proven time and again that many of them are … secret or otherwise.

After reviewing the article published in The Astrophysical Journal about the study and the actual data available to the public on Breakthrough Initiative’s Open Data Archive, Jason Wright, an astrophysicist at Pennsylvania State University who was not involved in the work, gave billionaire Milner the correct answer in an interview with LiveScience. The team led by Danny Price, an astrophysicist at the University of California Berkeley, used the 328-foot-diameter (100 meters) Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia, and the 210-foot-diameter (64 m) Parkes Telescope in New South Wales, Australia, to collect the 1 million gigabytes (1 petabyte) of radio and optical wavelengths from Earth’s closest neighbors and then searched for the technosignatures of life. You know, communication signals like radio waves or laser lights. After eliminating all of the knowns (signals from Earth satellites, for example), they were left with the list of unknowns. It wasn’t a very long list, according to Price.

Science-fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke once said that “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic,” which means that we shouldn’t be searching for known unknowns, but for unknown unknowns – things we have no idea of what they might look like. Price somewhat agrees, saying that his team is limited by human knowledge, but he also holds out hope that they‘re just looking for the wrong frequencies or the signals are being blocked by our own global blanket of radio interference. Besides, he still has plenty of Yuri Milner’s left to spend, which he plans to do by adding the massive MeerKAT telescope array in South Africa to the mix and expand the study to a million stars.
He’d better hope Milner has never heard of Drake and Fermi.
There can be very few – if, indeed, any – people with an interest in paranormal phenomena that have not heard of the infamous “Roswell UFO crash” of July 1947. According to the story, it was on the massive Foster Ranch (situated in Lincoln County, and an hour or so from Roswell) that in early July the U.S. military secretly scooped up the remains of a wrecked craft from another world and its dead crew of large-headed, dwarfish pilots. While staff at the Roswell Army Air Field busied themselves by assuring the press that it was all a big mistake, and that nothing stranger than a weather-balloon had fallen to earth, the legend goes that the mangled bodies and the debris were secretly flown to a military base in Dayton, Ohio. Its name was Wright Field. Today, it’s known as Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Wright-Pat’s reputation as the number-one resting place for alien entities with distinctly bad flying skills is legendary. Insiders and whistle-blowers talk about Hangar 18, Building 18, and The Blue Room. All three are supposedly distinctly off-limits rooms, buildings, and underground bunkers where the carefully preserved remains of who knows how many dead extraterrestrials can be found – if one has the correct, high-level security.
It turns out that Puerto Rico had its equivalent: the Roosevelt Roads Naval Station. For many years, it acted as the island’s very own Blue Room – allegedly, it’s important to stress! But, so the story went, it wasn’t alien bodies that were cryogenically housed at Roosevelt Roads. Nope: it was a bunch of dead chupacabras. There just might even have been a couple of living ones there, too. So I was told. On one of my trips to Puerto Rico I was not surprised to find that sifting fact from fiction, and legend from rumor, proved to be no easy job when it came to trying to unravel the controversial truth about Roosevelt Roads’ chupacabra stash. It was, however, a job that had to be done. The origins of Roosevelt Roads date back to just one year after the end of the First World War. It was 1919 when the then Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Navy visited Puerto Rico. That man was none other than a future American president: Franklin D. Roosevelt. The visit was no vacation, however. Roosevelt was there on a secret mission. He was focused on finding a suitable location where a military facility could be constructed, one that could act as a strategic outpost for Uncle Sam in the Caribbean. Roosevelt toured the island, finally pinpointing a northeast town called Ceiba, which was founded back in the 1830s, and that, today, has a population of around 13,000.
At the time, while the creation of such a base – with an airfield – could have been beneficial, it was not perceived as absolutely crucial. Things changed dramatically, however, when a certain Adolf Hitler came to power in 1930s-era Germany. The world was soon to face complete and utter carnage, the likes of which it had never before seen, or since. Steps had to be taken to combat the Nazi threat. One of those steps was the creation of Roosevelt Roads, which began in 1940, one year before the terrible events at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii occurred. Roosevelt Roads ultimately became the biggest U.S. Navy base on the planet and the headquarters of the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command (NAVSO). It remained so for decades. All that changed, however, in March 2004, when NAVSO was given a new home: the Jacksonville, Florida-based Naval Station Mayport.
Now, with that said, it’s time to take a look at the story of Roosevelt Roads’ role as a top secret storage area for chupacabras. Or, more correctly: an alleged top secret storage area. On our visit to Puerto Rico in July 2004, Jon Downes (the Director of the Center for Fortean Zoology) and I heard a story of a UFO crash in the hills of Canovanas in 1957, one which reportedly, and quickly, led to gross mutations in the local populace. It was not a stand-alone story, however. On his first trek around the island, in 1998, Jon was able to dig into this 1957 event. One of Jon’s sources was a man named Reuben, a Puerto Rican brought up in New York, but who returned to the island as an adult. Arguably, Reuben was Jon’s most significant source, since he personally took Jon and a U.K.-based Channel 4 TV crew to the very spot in Canovanas where, he claimed, the craft from another world slammed into the ground, back in 1957. Jon told me that they came to a big clearing where the path became narrow, and, on one side, disappeared altogether, into a huge saucer-shaped arena. This, according to what Reuben had to say, at least, was where the UFO had crashed. Admittedly, there was a huge indent in the side of the mountain, said Jon. No trees grew there, and it did look as if some huge object had crashed into the mountain, scooping out trees and vegetation and leaving a bare area intermittently covered with patchy grass.
Jon and I had to remember that although the crash report had been around for decades, the chupacabra aspect of the story surfaced specifically post-1995, when the goat-sucking phenomenon began. The chupacabra link to the 1957 crash was fascinating, but it would have been even more fascinating had it surfaced prior to the 1995 outbreak. That it specifically didn’t kept me and Jon mindful of the possibility that this was an elaboration, a new twist, on an old tale – albeit not necessarily a deliberate and deceitful one. There is also a story of a UFO crashing in the heart of the El Yunque rain-forest in February 1984. I know that, because the basics of the account have reached me on three occasions over the past decade. It was early one morning when a large, circular-shaped object slammed into the ground, immediately after flying over the rain forest in a decidedly erratic fashion. To prevent people from learning the truth of the matter, a diversionary tactic was put into place that the UFO was a meteorite. Personnel from NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and the CIA were soon on the scene – in part, to scoop up the pummeled body parts of a couple of dead chupacabras, whose lives came to sudden and bloody ends when the alien craft hurtled violently into the forest at high speed. That’s how the story goes, anyway. I mention these cases because there are claims that the bodies recovered from both the 1957 and 1984 incidents were secretly transported to Roosevelt Roads, for study and autopsy, by senior U.S. Navy medical personnel – in a deeply buried, fortified bunker, no less. Reportedly, at least some of the bodies were later taken to an unidentified military base in Florida.
Also of relevance, while I was on Puerto Rico in 2005, with Red Star Films, our guide was filmed talking about a 1990s-era event in which U.S. military forces reportedly captured several extremely vicious Chupacabra in El Yunque. What happened to them, beyond first being held at Roosevelt Roads and then flown on to the United States – in secure cages, aboard a military aircraft – is unknown. Was this all nothing stranger than modern day folklore in the making? Or, could it have been the cold, stark truth? Was Roosevelt Roads really a Puerto Rican equivalent of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base’s Blue Room? Those questions have yet to be answered. I have to say that in my opinion we’re probably looking at the rumor-mill run wild. I’ll be very pleased to be proved wrong, though!
In April of this year, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) noticed a new impact crater on Mars and it is unlike anything astronomers have ever seen. On a planet with a dusty red surface, the black and blue colors of the new crater definitely stand out, as well as its size and impact waves. In fact, during the thirteen years that the MRO has been observing Mars, they haven’t seen anything as remarkable as this new crater.
NASA’s High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera took the pictures of the crater while it was orbiting the planet at a distance of 158 miles away. While the exact date of the impact is unknown, astronomers believe that it happened between September 2016 and February 2019.

While it’s not uncommon for the Red Planet to get struck by asteroids and comets (more than 200 each year), this one is quite peculiar. Veronica Bray, who is a planetary scientist at the University of Arizona, told Space.com that the newly discovered crater is one of the most impressive that she’s ever seen.
Although the space rock that hit the planet was only around 5 feet wide, it created a crater of around 49 to 53 feet wide. If the five-foot-wide space rock would have come towards Earth, it would have burned up in our atmosphere. It is believed that the rock was probably more solid than normal, as the entire thing hit in one location close to the Martin equator called the Valles Marineris region. Normally, other small space rocks that come into Mars’ atmosphere shatter into much smaller pieces and create a bunch of little craters.
The announcement on the HiRISE website states “What makes this stand out is the darker material exposed beneath the reddish dust.” The darker area in the middle of the crater is where the dust had been pushed to the side and what is exposed is Mars’ rocky surface. Bray explained that the surface below the dust is more than likely basaltic rock and that the blue color in the image could be exposed ice that was hiding underneath. Even though the impact happened near the Martian equator, Bray said that it’s still possible that there could be some ice underneath the dust.

[Cont. from Part 1]In the transcript/summary of a 2002 conversation between Vice Admiral Thomas Wilson and Dr. Eric Davis it was revealed that a crashed extraterrestrial vehicle was being reverse engineered by a major aerospace company. Wilson first learned about the classified UFO program through a National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) document shared with him at a confidential April 10, 1997 meeting with Dr. Steven Greer, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, and Navy Commander Willard Miller.
The recently released transcript describes what Admiral Wilson [TW] told Dr. Davis [EWD] about Wilson’s efforts up to June 1997 to learn the truth about the classified UFO program, and the associated reverse engineering effort revealed to him in the April meeting.
EWD: Okay then, what happened in April-June ’97?
TW: After parting with Miller (week later, he thinks) – I made calls, knocked on a few doors, talked to people – went on for 45 days (thereabouts) on and off
Suggestion came from Ward (Gen. M. Ward) to go through the records groups files (like an index system) in OUSDAT (Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology)
Ran into Bill Perry in May ’97 – talked about this quietly – he suggested the same thing
They told me of a special projects record group not belonging to usual SAP – a special subset of the unacknowledged/carve-outs/waived programs – not belonging to usual SAP divisions as organized in ’94 by Perry himself – set apart from rest but buried/covered by conventional SAPs. (Transcript/Summary, pp. 6-7)
Wilson was here referring to different categories of Special Access Programs (SAPs), where the most important – unacknowledged/carve-outs/waived – were hidden behind conventional SAPs.
The method of hiding the most highly classified programs behind less classified ones was verified in one of the NSA documents leaked by Edward Snowden called Sentry Eagle. It graphically depicted how Exceptionally Compartmented Information (ECI – an Intelligence Community classification similar to an Unacknowledged SAP used by the Pentagon) would be hidden behind a Non-ECI Program (similar classification status to a conventional SAP)

Wilson went on to describe the aerospace company that ran the classified reverse engineering effort, without naming it:
EWD: Who was the project contractor or USG agency that runs the program?
TW: An aerospace technology contractor – one of the top ones in US
EWD: Who?
TW: Core secret – can’t tell
EWD: Defense contractor?
TW: Yes, the best one of them.
The reference to the “best one of them” firmly points to Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks division which has a long track record of successfully working on cutting edge aerospace programs. For example, Skunkworks former Director, Ben Rich, was fond of ending lectures by declaring: “We now have the technology to take ET home”.

Wilson then explained what happened when he discovered which company was running the classified UFO program and contacted it to gain access:
EWD: What happened with you found contractor?
TW: I made several calls (end of May ’97), first to Paul, Mike & Perry to confirm I had right contractor and program manager to talk to.
EWD: They confirm?
TW: Yes.
EWD: Then?
TW: (End of May ’97) Made three calls to the program manager – one of them conference call with security director and corporate attorney.
Confusion on their part at to why I was looking for them and what I wanted from them or wanted to know about.
Wilson next explains how he was denied access to the classified UFO program by the three corporate officials (program manager, security director, and attorney):
TW: I told threesome I wanted formal briefing, tour, etc. – was exploiting my regulatory authority as Deputy Director DIA/Assistant Joint Chief of Staff J-2 – Told them my not being briefed was oversight they needed to correct – I demanded!
TW: They needed to discuss this (his demand) so hung up. Got called 2 days later and they said they don’t want to talk on phone and arranged for face-to-face meeting at their facility.
EWD: Did you go?
TW: Yes, ten days later (mid-June or so). Flew out there
Met in their conference room in their secure vault
Wilson describes how the “watch committee” told him about a prior incident years ago where the present security system was set up after an agreement was reached with the Pentagon’s Special Access Programs Oversight Committee (SAPOC), which was overhauled in 1994, very likely due to the incident Wilson was told about. The agreement gave the corporate contractor running certain categories of SAPs the authority to restrict access to UFO related programs from Pentagon officials regardless of their rank and position:
– [TW] Said after that episode a formal agreement was struck with Pentagon people (SAPOC) to prevent this in future – didn’t want a repeat
– Special criteria were established in agreement
A special circumstance that must meet rigorous access criteria set by contractor committee
No USG personnel are to gain access unless they met the criteria – to be administered by contractor committee (program director, attorney, security director) irregardless of the tickets and position USG personnel possess
The “watch committee” told Admiral Wilson that despite him being Deputy Director of the DIA and Vice Director of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, that he was not on the “bigot list” – those with a “need to know” access – who could be briefed about the UFO program:
TW: They said my tickets were all confirmed and valid, but I was not on the bigot list
My tickets alone were not enough
I didn’t meet the special criteria so need to know authorization was not being granted….
TW: Argued more – they wouldn’t accept my arguments that they fell under my statutory oversight and regulatory authority as Deputy Director DIA – under purview for my right to have need to know (oversight, audit, justification issues, etc., etc.)
Regulatory and statutory authority as Deputy Director DIA not relevant or pertinent to nature of their program!
Then they pulled out their bigot list to convince me otherwise – several pages long – dated 1990, updated 1993. [Transcript/Summary, pp. 11-12]
The transcription goes on to cover Wilson and Davis’ conversation about names on the bigot list, and who in the Pentagon and White House was allowed access:
EWD: Who was on it? Recognize names?
TW: That is core secret.
Willing to say that most were program employees – names and titles (job titles) – civilians – didn’t recognize any military personnel – could be there.
EWD: Any politicians?
TW: No
No White House names, no President!
No Congressional people
No Congressional staffers
EDW: Any in Clinton or Bush Sr. Administrations?
TW: No! But handful of names were Pentagon individuals I recognized – few from OUSDAT, one from another department, another at the NSC who is Pentagon SES employee. [Transcript/Summary, p. 12]
Stunningly, Wilson learned that no members of the Legislative (Congress) or Executive (White House) branches of government were briefed about the corporate UFO program. Only a few Pentagon officials were given access. This corroborates what Greer and others have been claiming for decades over the unconstitutional nature of the secrecy system developed for the UFO issue.
Next, the transcript elaborates on how Wilson tried to gain access by identifying the type of program that was underway attempting to link it to his official field of responsibility as Deputy Director DIA:
Finally, Wilson was told that the UFO program was a reverse engineering program of a recovered extraterrestrial vehicle, exactly what Greer, Mitchell, and Miller, had told him at the April 10, 1997 meeting. Importantly, Wilson expressed his surprise thinking that the UFO term was merely a cover for acquired foreign aerospace technology built by the USSR or China:
I asked what they were then

Security Director and attorney say it’s okay to say it.
EWD: Say what?
TW: There were a reverse engineering program –
Something recovered years ago in the past
Technological hardware was recovered
So I thought they meant recovered Soviet/Chinese, etc. hardware and reverse engineer it – like a missile or intel platform or aircraft – actually came to meeting expecting to find a sensitive foreign collection and reverse engineering operation – thought “UFOs” used as a cover for that –
So I said that and they said they weren’t that either
They had (program manager talking) a craft – an intact craft they believed could fly …
Program manager said they didn’t know where it was from [they had some ideas on this] – it was technology that was not of this Earth – not made by man – not by human hands [Transcript/Summary, pp. 12-13]
Wilson next described that he was told the corporation had encountered great difficulty in its reverse engineering efforts:
[TW] Said they were trying to understand and exploit technology: their program was going on for years and years with very slow progress
Agonizingly slow with little or no success – painful lack of collaboration to get help from outside community of experts and facilities to assist effort – must remain isolated and use own facilities and cleared personnel – tough environment to work – about 400-800 (bigot list count) workers varying in number funding or personnel changes. [Transcript/Summary, pp. 12-13]
When Wilson threatened to go to the Special Access Program Oversight Committee (SAPOC) he was told to go ahead by the corporate “watch committee” and was eventually denied access by the Senior Review Group running SAPOC Pentagon committee set up to oversee Special Access Programs:
TW: Before last week of June (’97)
They told me (TW) that they were sustaining the contractor, that I was to immediately drop the matter and let it go – forget about it as I did not have purview over their project, it didn’t fall within my oversight, etc.
I became very angry – started yelling when should have kept my mouth shut…
… Senior Review Group chairman said if I didn’t follower their suggestion that I would not see Director DIA promotion, get early retirement, lose 1 or 2 stars along the way
Really incredibly angry – upset over this – livid!!!
Why such a big deal over this considering the position of trust I have in the Pentagon – I do have relevant regulatory/statutory authority over their program – that’s my position!!! [Transcript/Summary, p. 14]
The refusal to grant access was the critical moment that Wilson realized that the corporation was being supported by a powerful group linked to the Pentagon to hide the corporation’s reverse engineering of an extraterrestrial spacecraft, as an Unacknowledged/waived SAP, hidden within the labyrinth of conventional SAPs conducted by the Pentagon and its corporate contractors.
The refusal was ultimately why Wilson believed that a UFO cabal/ MJ-12 was in charge of UFO related projects, and even senior officials at the DIA and the Joint Chiefs of Staff were out of the loop. This is what he told Commander Miller back in June 1997, who in turn relayed Wilson’s conclusions to Steven Greer and Edgar Mitchell who respectively revealed more details over the next two decades.

Researchers studied fossils of juveniles to help work out how the head of an adult Prosaurolophus maximusdinosaur might have looked.
Prosaurolophus was a hadrosaurthat lived 75 million years ago in what’s now northern Montana and southern Alberta, Canada. Unlike many duck-bills, which had a large bony crest on their heads, Prosaurolophus had only a small crest on the forehead. The researchers were interested in determining how the crest changed as the animal grew, as this feature has been thought to be related to sexual maturity and mate attraction.
The fossils used in the study – from Alberta’s Royal Tyrrell Museum – are the youngest and smallest individuals known for the species.

The study suggests that a showy snout and bony forehead crest developed as the animal matured. Eamon Drysdale is a graduate student in the Department of Geoscience at University of Calgary, and the lead author of the study published May 19, 2019, in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology. Drysdale said in a statement:
We noticed that the bony crest grew very slowly in Prosaurolophus and remained small, unlike what happened in some duck-bills, which rapidly developed a large bony crest. Instead, rapid changes in the snout as the animal matured suggest that a soft tissue structure may have associated with the nostrils and used for display.
In Prosaurolophus, the snout would have been the primary display feature rather than the large head crest of other duck-bills.
The research team with the fossil skeleton of a duck-billed dinosaur Prosaurolophus in collections at Royal Tyrrell Museum, that was found in ancient oceanic sediments.
This idea of a showy, fleshy snout had been hypothesized previously by paleontologists, and the new study now offers evidence to support this premise. Darla Zelenitsky is assistant professor in the University of Calgary Department of Geoscience, and Drysdale’s supervisor. She said:
Gathering evidence to support this hypothesis was difficult because it required finding the fossils of juvenile individuals, which are very rare. It took over 30 years for the Royal Tyrrell Museum to recover a decent growth series for the species.
The unusual setting in which the fossils were discovered also shed light on the environments in which Prosaurolophus lived.
Dinosaurs were land dwellers, so their remains are usually found in rocks deposited in rivers and lakes. This was not the case for the three juvenile Prosaurolophus fossils featured in this study, said the researchers, which were found in muds deposited at the bottom of an inland sea that covered Alberta about 75 million years ago. François Therrien, curator at the Royal Tyrrell Museum, also supervised Drysdale. He said:
It was very fortuitous that three young individuals of the same dinosaur species happened to float out to sea and sink to the bottom where they were buried. Their preservation in the fine mud contributed to the fossilization of large patches of skin showing the flanks of these animals were covered in a mosaic of large and small scales.
As for why and how these dinosaurs ended up at sea, Drysdale said:
It may have been that these particular dinosaurs spent a lot of time in coastal areas. Living close to the coast, these animals may have been more easily washed out to sea after they died.
Bottom line: A study used fossils from juvenile dinosaurs to help determine the appearance of the hadrosaur.

Breakthrough Listen is searching the universe for signals from alien technology, and the project recently announced that its made the largest data release ever in the search for extraterrestrial life.
The $100 million endeavor aims to scan 1 million stars in our neighborhood, 100 nearby galaxies and the plane of the Milky Way. According to a recent statement, the project has already cast a massive net in its quest to catch an alien signal or two. That hasn't happened yet, but the project still has news to report.
In a statement released Tuesday (June 18), Breakthrough Listen said it has collected almost 1 petabyte of digital data, or 1 million gigabytes, which is accessible to the public.
"This data release is a tremendous milestone for the Breakthrough Listen team," Danny Price, Breakthrough Listen Project Scientist for the Parkes Radio Telescope, said in the statement. "We scoured thousands of hours of observations of nearby stars, across billions of frequency channels. We found no evidence of artificial signals from beyond Earth, but this doesn't mean there isn't intelligent life out there: we may just not have looked in the right place yet, or peered deep enough to detect faint signals."
Breakthrough Listen's science team at the University of California, Berkeley's SETI Research Center came up with a way to analyze the large swaths of information for what scientists call "technosignatures." That category represents the potential footprints of technologies like transmitters and propulsion devices, but these signals are difficult to tease out from human-made technological chatter. Researchers described the techniques they are using to review the data in two upcoming studies, according to the statement.
Breakthrough Listen officials say the project's researchers are listening in to a range of radio and optical wavelengths. So far, their ears are the Green Bank Radio Telescope in West Virginia and the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia, with more facilities set to begin collecting observations soon.
Founded in 2015 by Russian billionaire Yuri Milner, Breakthrough Listen has now submitted a broader analysis of 1,327 stars, which officials said is about 80% of its nearby star sample.
"While we have been making smaller subsets of data public before in varying forms and contexts," Matt Lebofsky, lead system administrator of Berkeley's Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Research Center, said in the statement, "we are excited and proud to offer this first cohesive collection along with an instruction manual, so everybody can dig in and help us search. And we're just getting started — there's much more to come!"
The unpublished papers describing the work of Breakthrough Listen are available on the SETI Berkeley website.

Three U.S. senators received a closed-door Pentagon briefing yesterday about UFO sightings, Politico reports. The meeting was about a series of sightings by Navy pilots of “unidentified aerial phenomenon” — yet another sign that Congress is starting to take the matter more seriously.
The news comes after reports emerged in April that the Navy is working on new guidelines for its personnel to report sightings and other encounters with “unidentified aircraft.”
“If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,” Rachel Cohen, a spokesperson for Mark Warner (D-VA), vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and attendee of the briefing, said in a statement, as quoted by Politico.

Last week, President Donald Trump told ABC that he, too, was briefed on the UFO sightings.
“I want them to think whatever they think,” Trump said in an interview. “I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

The news also comes after The New York Timespublished a report of pilots encountering “strange objects” that have “no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes,” but could reach “30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds.”
“It doesn’t matter if it’s weather balloons, little green men, or something else entirely — we can’t ask our pilots to put their lives at risk unnecessarily,” Cohen told CNN.

Het gaat om een vervolg op de spectaculaire missie Rosetta die in 2014-2016 de komeet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko bezocht en er het landertje Philae op neerzette. Net als bij Rosetta zal het Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Ruimte-Aeronomie (BIRA) ook in deze komeetmissie een belangrijke rol spelen. De lancering is - ten vroegste - voorzien in 2027.
De komeet waar de missie naartoe zal vliegen, moet nog ontdekt worden. ESA wil immers een “nieuwe komeet” gaan bestuderen. Terwijl 67P een gekende komeet was die al heel wat rondjes rond de Zon heeft gedraaid en sterk geëvolueerd is, zal Comet Interceptor een komeet bekijken die voor het eerst in de buurt van de Zon komt en die zich dus nog in zijn oorspronkelijke staat bevindt. De Comet Interceptor kan misschien zelfs een interstellaire object bekijken, zoals het Oumuamua dat in 2017 werd ontdekt.
Op die manier hopen de wetenschappers een vollediger zicht te krijgen op de diversiteit aan kometen. Er is echter één moeilijkheid: dergelijke nieuwe kometen bewegen véél sneller en daarom kan men enkel een scheervlucht langs het doelwit maken. Een langdurig bezoek is praktisch onmogelijk of zou veel te duur uitvallen.
Drie ruimtesondes
Comet Interceptor zal uit drie ruimtesondes bestaan. Er is een moederschip met camera’s dat op een veilige afstand van de komeet zal langsvliegen, om het risico op een botsing met komeetstof of met rotsachtig materiaal dat van de komeet ontsnapt zo klein mogelijk te houden. Een tweede sonde met instrumenten die de komeetatmosfeer zullen “opsnuiven” en die de wisselwerking tussen de komeet en de zonnewind gaan bestuderen, zal meer risico nemen en dichter bij de komeetkern komen. Het Japanse ruimte-agentschap JAXA biedt een derde sonde aan die complementaire metingen zal uitvoeren.
Net als bij Rosetta speelt België een belangrijke rol bij deze komeetmissie. Technisch en wetenschappelijk zal het Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Ruimte-Aeronomie - dat deze missie mee voorstelde - bijdragen aan de plasma-instrumenten en aan de analyse van de komeetsamenstelling. Bovendien zal het wetenschappelijk gegevenscentrum verzorgd worden door het B.USOC, eveneens gehuisvest in het BIRA. Deze activiteiten worden ondersteund vanuit de cel Ruimtevaart van het Federaal Wetenschapsbeleid (BELSPO).
WETENSCHAPDrie jaar lang hebben Amerikaanse astronomen de kosmos afgespeurd naar buitenaards leven, maar vergeefs, zo hebben wetenschappers van het Californische SET-instituut in twee publicaties gemeld.
Het programma Breakthrough Listen heeft 1.327 sterren tot op een afstand van 160 lichtjaar afgetoetst, waarmee het de tot nu toe omvangrijkste speurtocht naar buitenaards leven was. Maar, uit het jongste nummer van het vakblad The Astrophysical Journal blijkt dat er geen, “ongelooflijk geavanceerde beschavingen zijn die ons met krachtige zenders proberen te bereiken.” Dat zegt astrofysicus Danny Price van de University of California in Berkeley.
De zoektocht naar een “naald in een hooiberg” gebeurde met krachtige radiotelescopen in de VS en Australië. In miljarden radiofrequenties is naar signalen van buitenaards leven gespeurd.
Dat er niets is gevonden, kan te maken met het feit dat het onderzoek zich op verkeerde frequenties heeft gericht of dat de signalen verstoord werden door die van onze eigen planeet. Of misschien is er nog niet in de juiste richting gezocht.
Breakthrough Listen kon op 100 miljoen dollar rekenen van de Russische miljardair Joeri Milner.

In Argentinië is een bizar geval van veeverminking gemeld. Afgelopen week merkte een boer uit La Paz dat één van zijn koeien was verdwenen.
Hij begon samen met zijn knechten te zoeken en uiteindelijk werden de resten van het dier gevonden, meldt website Infocampo.
Volgens de boer ontbraken onder meer de tong en de ogen van de koe. Ze waren zeer nauwkeurig verwijderd, mogelijk met een laser.
Geen bloed
Wat hem verbaasde was dat er geen bloed rond de koe te zien was en dat aasdieren geen interesse hadden in het karkas.
Nog vreemder was dat de mobiele telefoon van één van de knechten plotseling uitviel toen hij probeerde een foto te maken van de resten.
Ze dachten eerst dat de batterij leeg was, maar toen een lerares van een nabijgelegen school de koe ook probeerde vast te leggen, viel ook haar telefoon uit.
Magnetisch veld
“Ik kan niet verklaren wat hier gebeurt,” zei de boer. “Het was alsof een magnetisch veld ervoor zorgde dat ze geen foto’s konden maken.”
Inmiddels is het wel gelukt om beelden te maken van het tafereel.
Chupacabra
De boer zei dat het dier in goede gezondheid verkeerde voordat het incident plaatsvond.
Diverse lokale media speculeerden dat de Chupacabra, een mythisch wezen uit Midden-Amerika, er iets mee te maken heeft gehad.

In de laatste week van juni 1908 vond er een enorme explosie plaats in Tunguska in Rusland.
Volgens wetenschappers werd dit veroorzaakt door een meteoriet uit een zwerm waar we ook nu weer mee te maken krijgen.
Op 30 juni 1908 rond zeven uur in de ochtend vindt er een enorme explosie plaats in de buurt van Tunguska in Rusland. Over die explosie schreven wij eerder het volgende:
Het is 30 Juni 1908 in het afgelegen Tunguska in Siberië. Het door insecten geïnfesteerde gebied zal voor altijd veranderen als er een explosie plaatsvindt die de kracht van de Hiroshima atoombom ver overstijgt. Om watvoor explosie het gaat en wat er precies is gebeurd blijft tot op heden een mysterie.
Ondanks dat de gebeurtenis in 1908 plaatsvond duurde het nog 19 jaar voordat de eerste wetenschappelijke expeditie er onderzoek naar ging doen. In 1921 leidde Leonid Kulik van het St. Petersburg museum de expeditie naar Tunguska. Maar door de zware klimatologische en geologische omstandigheden van Siberië bereikte de expeditie de plaats des onheils niet. Pas in 1927 lukte het hem met een nieuwe expeditie om wel het gebied te bereiken.
Schattingen over hoe krachtig de explosie van Tunguska zou moeten zijn geweest variëren van 5 tot 30 megaton. In een omtrek van zo'n 30 kilometer worden zo'n 80 miljoen bomen op hun zij geslagen. Beelden die gemaakt zijn van het gebied na de explosie tonen aan dat de bomen in een vlinder-patroon omver geblazen zijn. Ooggetuigen geven aan dat er eerst een blauw licht door de lucht vloog, bijna net zo fel als de zon, gevolgd door een enorme lichtflits en een knal.
De verklaringen van ooggetuigen zouden moeten wijzen op een inslag van een meteoriet, maar er is geen duidelijke krater te zien en ook zijn er geen resten van gevonden. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de Tunguska explosie omringd wordt door mysterie en de meest wilde theorieën. De enorme explosie veroorzaakte een schokgolf.
De seismische golven werden tot in Engeland waargenomen op de barometers. Een dichte bewolking vormde zich boven het gebied tot op grote hoogte en het zonlicht werd over de horizon teruggekaatst. De bewolking in de nacht lichtte op en zo konden de bewoners tot in Azië 's avonds laat buiten de krant nog lezen. Op de plaats zelf zijn honderden rendieren, de inkomsten van de locale bevolking, omgekomen maar zijn er geen meldingen bekend van persoonlijke ongevallen door de ontploffing.
Alhoewel er ook theorieën zijn dat er op die plek een ufo is neergestort, houdt de wetenschap in het algemeen vast aan de inslag van een meteoriet.
De reden dat er nauwelijks een krater te zien is, zou dan komen doordat deze meteoriet al op enkele kilometers hoogte uit elkaar is gespat. Hij zou afkomstig geweest zijn uit de Tauriden meteorenzwerm.
De datum van de explosie (30 juni) staat in verband met de 'Tauriden', een meteorenzwerm, die de baan van de Aarde kruist. Dergelijke zwermen stof en fijn gruis, vaak op Aarde zichtbaar als 'sterrenregen', ontstaan uit kometen die verdampen en uiteenvallen. Het is niet onmogelijk dat een nog niet geheel tot stof vergaan brokstuk van de moederkomeet (komeet Encke) de Aarde heeft getroffen.
Nu begeeft de aarde zich wederom richting Tauriden, maar dit keer is er iets bijzonders. En dat is dat we nu heel dicht bij die meteorietenzwerm in de buurt zullen komen. De laatste keer dat we zo dichtbij kwamen was in 1975 en de volgende keer dat dit zal gebeuren is in 2032.
Er zijn wetenschappers die vermoeden dat er zich binnen die Tauriden meteorietenzwerm een aantal grotere brokstukken (meer dan 100 meter doorsnee) bevinden die een bedreiging voor de aarde zouden kunnen vormen.
Natuurlijk wordt er altijd gezegd dat de kans dat de aarde in botsing komt met een brokstuk van meer dan 100 meter doorsnee heel erg klein is en maar eens in de zoveel jaar voor komt. Feit is echter dat we in een dusdanig turbulente tijd leven dat er steeds vaker "eens in de duizend jaar" gebeurtenissen plaatsvinden.
Er is trouwens ook zonder de Tauriden een opvallende toename waar te nemen van meteorieten.
In het volgende overzicht zie je dat de eerste vijf maanden van dit jaar een groter aantal meteorieten laat zien dan in alle voorgaande jaren.
Onderzoeker Marshal Masters is ervan overtuigd dat hetgeen we nu zien gebeuren het gevolg is van een samenvoegen van de enorme stofwolken die rondom het systeem van de onbekende planeet Nibiru zwermen en de Tauriden.
Hierdoor zouden we nu een extra groot risico lopen. In de onderstaande video wordt uitgebreid op bovenstaande ingegaan.
Als Masters gelijk heeft met zijn theorie dan zal de aarde de komende tijd letterlijk worden “gebombardeerd” met meteorieten.

Linda spoke with former Army infantryman Jared Beeler, who told her of a training mission on a glacier near Mt. Denali. Beeler recalled that his training sergeant spoke to him about a “Sphinx, like in Giza” he had seen on a mission in the area.

Not long after their meeting, Brian received an intimidating phone call warning him not to talk any more about Antarctica and the missing scientists. He was able to trace the caller number to the NSA in Fort Meade, Maryland.

It’s not often that you find government documents on crashed UFOs. Certainly, there have been reports that have debunked the UFO angle of such crashes (such as the U.S. Air Force’s 1994 and 1997 reports on the notorious Roswell affair of July 1947). But, when it comes to the matter of potentially real crashed UFOs, the paperwork is scant – to say the least. There is, however, a document from the CIA which addresses a controversial (some might say “notorious”) Russian case from January 29, 1986. In a document of November 22, 1989, we have the following from the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (which, as Wikipedia correctly states, was “…an open source intelligence component of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Science and Technology. It monitored, translated, and disseminated within the U.S. government openly available news and information from media sources outside the United States…”).
Fireball Craft
The CIA document reveals the following: “Setting the tone for this media coverage was an article in the 9 July 1989 SOTSIALISTICHESKAYA INDUSTRIYA, which referred to many recent reports of UFO sightings in the USSR. Interviewed by the paper, P. Prokopenko, director of a laboratory for the study of ‘anomalous phenomena,’ stated that a ‘permanent center’ for the study of UFOs is being established in the Soviet Union. In addition to conducting research and presenting lectures on UFOs, the center will support the investigation of reported sightings. In referring to an issue of the paper published in July 1988 that included a report on an ‘amazing event that took place on Hill 611 near the village of Dalnegorsk in Primorskiy Kray,’ the article noted that the event is still under investigation. Many observers saw a flying sphere crash into one of the hill’s twin peaks, and physicists and other scientists from the Siberian Division of the USSR Academy of Sciences are still studying the ‘fine mesh,’ ‘small spherical objects,’ and ‘pieces of glass’ that are considered to be small remnants left behind by the sphere. According to the article, the alleged spacecraft was nearly obliterated in the crash, but there appears to be enough material at the site for the scientists––a mixture of UFO ‘enthusiasts’ and skeptics––to eventually ‘penetrate this mystery.'”

The CIA had much more to say of this case: “In studying the site, scientist A. Makayev reported finding gold, silver, nickel, alpha-titanium, molybdenum, and compounds of beryllium. One of the ‘skeptical’ physicists from Tomsk has hypothesized that the so-called sphere could have been some kind of a ‘plasmoid,’ formed by the ‘interaction of geophysical force fields,’ which captured the elements found by Makeyev from the atmosphere on its trajectory toward disintegration on the hilltop. Other researchers have generally rejected this explanation since the amounts of various types of metals found at the site would imply, according to this ‘plasmoid’ theory, that “the concentration of metals in the atmosphere should exceed the present level by a factor of 4,000.”
And there was more to come, as the documentation demonstrates: “Some of the scientists have concluded that the object that crashed into Hill 611 was an ‘extraterrestrial’ space vehicle constructed by highly intelligent beings. Doctor of Chemical Sciences V. Vysotskiy stated that ‘without doubt, this is evidence of a high technology, and it is not anything of a natural or terrestrial origin.’ He cited the fact that the remnants of fine mesh included bits of thin threads with a diameter of only 17 microns and that these threads, in turn, were composed of even thinner strands twisted into braids. Extremely thin gold wires were discovered intertwined in the finest threads – evidence of an intricate technology beyond the present capabilities of terrestrial science, according to Vysotskiy.”
As the CIA noted, however, there was a down to earth theory for all of this, too. Again, let’s take a look at what the CIA recorded: “Physicist Yuriy Platov of the Terrestrial Magnetism Institute does not believe the claims of scientists who maintain they have found remnants in Dalnegorsk of a UFO constructed by extraterrestrials, and he is convinced that the materials found at the site are really only the remnants of the unsuccessful launch of a Soviet rocket in that region. He believes that many of the other reports of UFOs can be explained by the inability of the observers to recognize the phenomenon known as ‘ball lightning.'”
The CIA document concludes: The [19-25 October 1989 edition of the POISK journal] article contrasted Platov’s view with that of another physical scientist, Vladimir Azhazha, who was recently elected chairman of the All-Union Commission for the Study of Unidentified Flying Objects of the Union of Scientific and Engineering Societies. Azhazha compared reports of a UFO crash in the USSR with a claim by UFO enthusiasts in the United States that a UFO had crashed in the desert near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. He believes there is sufficient evidence to support the claims of UFO crashed in both cases––in Dalnegorsk and in Roswell. In the latter case, he cited the testimony of eyewitnesses who maintained that they had seen the bodies of four extraterrestrials lying near the smashed spacecraft. According to Platov, however, the eyewitnesses in the Roswell case were mistaken. He believes that the object that crashed was a USAF experimental rocket with four Rhesus monkeys aboard and that the accident was the result of an unsuccessful launch attempt at the dawn of the space era.”
Interest in the UFO subject continues to mount in Washington, as several senators on Capitol Hill have reportedly received briefings on the subject. The news arrives on the heels of a recent statement by President Donald Trump, where he made passing reference to a “brief meeting” he had on UFOs.
Politico’s Bryan Bender reports that Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, was among those who received the classified briefings.
Bender also appears on History’s new Unidentified series, which chronicles the efforts of Luis Elizondo, a former DoD employee who says he headed a Pentagon UFO study during his time with the agency.
It’s not surprising that members of Congress are showing interest in the subject, after news that the Navy would be “updating” its reporting procedures with regard to incidents where pilots encountered unidentified flying objects was received with much fanfare several weeks ago.

And yet, while the fact that members of Congress are receiving classified briefings on the subject is making news, the question remains as to what, precisely, our current Commander in Chief’s “brief meeting” on the subject actually entailed.
Reports by a number of news agencies at that time noted that a “briefing” had occurred, but it should be pointed out that Trump himself never called it this, and actually had very little to say about the subject. When asked if he believed the reports given by Navy pilots, which were featured in a New York Times article several weeks ago, he said “not particularly,” expressing to George Stephanopolous that if any additional information was forthcoming he’d be “the first to know.”
In terms of party lines, political interest in the UFO subject is mostly favored by Democrats, which includes the aforementioned Mark Warner, and former U.S. Senator Harry Reid, who spoke recently with KNPR Radio out of Las Vegas. Reid was asked during the 45-minute interview about Luis Elizondo, who was referred to by the New York Times in November 2017 as former head of the Pentagon’s UFO program, and whether contradictory statements by Pentagon spokespeople had relevance to his former position with the DoD.
According to Reid:
“I’ve talked to Luis, met him several times. Met him here in Las Vegas recently… Here’s one thing that we have to understand with this. First of all, I believe in science. That’s what we should be dealing with. But there are some people that have wanted for many years to have… kind of conspiratorial issues… and when they are challenged with real science, they don’t like it. So that’s the problem we have with this. Then you have people that are just coming on board, and they want to also report ‘I saw a flying saucer’ and all this, some of which is true, most of it, of course, isn’t.”
“Elizondo is a real guy,” Reid concluded. “A few people [are] out there trying to punch holes in what he is saying and what he does, but he was part of the Defense Department, no question about it, and a man, I think, of veracity.”

While Reid stated that Elizondo held a former position with the DoD, what remains unaccounted for to date is any clear statement that outlines the exact role served by Mr. Elizondo with regard to the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Elizondo says he was the head of the program up until his resignation in late 2017.
According to Pentagon spokesman Christopher Sherwood, in correspondence with journalist Kieth Kloor who wrote about this for The Intercept, “Mr. Elizondo had no responsibilities with regard to the AATIP program while he worked in OUSDI [the Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence], up until the time he resigned effective 10/4/2017.”
Elizondo and the To the Stars Academy have not issued any official response to the statement. However, it is not inconceivable that there may be circumstances that could have led to confusion on the matter, which may have to do with the nature and scope of Elizondo’s prior work with the government.
While information continues to slowly become available about official government interest in unexplained aerial phenomenon, one thing remains very clear: interest in the subject–both on the civilian and governmental levels–is at an unprecedented high, the likes of which have not been seen since the early 1950s, when official USAF studies into the phenomenon began. It’s anybody’s guess which direction this may take in weeks and months to follow, and whether we will learn anything new of substance in relation to this enduring mystery of the skies.
If you’re looking for a place to vacation, you probably go for a location with better weather than you have back home. On the other hand, people looking for a place to move to generally choose a spot that’s just like home. If that’s the way humans think, perhaps extraterrestrials do the same. If the exoplanets currently being discovered are colder than Earth, then it would make sense that travelers from these worlds would settle someplace cold, like Antarctica or Siberia. That may explain why 5,000-year-old art found on never-touched stone-walled graves in Siberia depicts beings that look nothing like humans and were painted using techniques and colors uncommon for that time. Aliens making the place look like home?
“The results of the analysis of the composition of paints used in the funeral rite of Karakol people testify to the ability of the ancient inhabitants of Altai to distinguish pigments by colour and properties.”
That ability is not what Alexander Pakhunov of the Institute of Archeology at the Russian Academy of Sciences was expecting when he was given the opportunity to chemically test the paints used by early and middle Bronze Age artists to paint eleven strange-looking humanoid beings on stone slabs which formed the walls of ancient graves in the Karakol village of the Altai Republic in West Siberia. (View the paintings here.) They were discovered in 1985 and appear to have been untouched since the Bronze Age. The remains looked normal – no elongated skulls – and were painted with what the researchers say was the first usage of polychrome colors (white, red and black) ever found in Siberia. However, what intrigued the researchers was that fact that the paints weren’t made with simple ingredients.

“Some structures are not typical for natural samples, but are the product of heat treatment. Simply put, the primitive artist heated the mineral to a certain temperature in order to get the colour he needed.”
In an interview with The Siberian Times, Roman Senin, head of the synchrotron research department at Kurchatov Institute, explained that these ancient artists used scientific techniques that were unheard of for those times to create the vivid colors in these paintings. How did they learn these methods?
“We find depictions of elks, mountain goats, but also humanoid figurines that were drawn running around with round horns and halos on their heads. The eleven human-like figures make a single composition, finished with a continuous red line drawn over the images.”
You sent us all this way to teach them how to draw?
If this was a depiction of a funeral ritual, who – or what – was presiding over it? The remains are human, but the beings in the pictures have long arms and those strange heads with stranger headgear. Were the humanoids ETs giving their shivering Siberian friends new techniques from their home planet in return for welcoming them with open arms and warm yak blankets? For the answer to this and more burning questions, we have to wait for more leaks (yes, archeology has joined politics in leaking secret documents) of the study by Senin, Pakhunov and others scheduled to be presented at the 43rd International Symposium on Archeometry in May 2020 in Lisbon.
Emboldened by the news, many UFO enthusiasts and genuine experts have begun weighing in on the matter, arguing either for or against the existence of the alien visitors that the US government is so eager to study.
One of the most compelling pieces of evidence suggesting that UFOs really are the result of highly advanced technology comes in the form of footage from two F/A-18F super hornets who, in 2004, spotted a white "tic-tac" shaped aircraft off the coast of San Diego.
In footage that has been made public, the pilots involved note that the UFO is flying into the wind, before rotating. While no more are seen in the video, the pilots claim that they can see "a whole fleet" of similar UFOs on a scanner.
Now, no doubt as a result of the increased media attention following the Pentagon revelation, one of the pilots who spotted the tic-tac UFO has spoken out with a chilling warning for humanity.
"I think the story needs to be told. We need to stop making jokes and start paying attention to it. This is not a US problem. This is a global issue. Why aren't we investigating these things? If it's like ET, then it's all good. If it's like War of the Worlds or Independence Day, then not so much. Our technology is way, way behind. I know what I saw, oh yeah it reacted to us."
Fravor seems emphatic in his assertion that he really did see a mysterious, highly advanced alien spacecraft. He's not he only official military personnel to make such a claim, and based on his own knowledge and experience with aircraft, his solemn word carries weight when he swears that the tic-tac UFO was real.
That said, there's no shortage of people who are ready to poke holes in his argument, and suggest alternative explanations for the footage shown.
Noted UFO skeptic Mick West has given an alternative explanation for the footage, suggesting that what appears to be a mysterious craft is simply caused by the effects of camera trickery—either thanks to accidental misuse of filming equipment or a deliberate attempt to make something relatively mundane look more otherworldy.
Similarly, another expert has debunked a photograph that has done the rounds, with people claiming it was taken at the same time. In reality, according to UFO expert Steve Mera, this photo was taken in Manchester, England, in 2005. The subject of the photo? A novelty helium balloon in the shape of a number 1.
It's likely that the debate over the San Diego incident is going to rage for the foreseeable future. As with all similar accounts of UFOs, the footage is too grainy and limited to definitively prove what's going on.
For now, we're all entitled to believe what we wish about the tic-tac UFO, but it's worth bearing in mind that if David Fravor is correct and this is the first warning sign of an oncoming War of the Worlds, there'll be no shortage of smug UFO truthers ready to point out that they were right while we're all being melted down into alien snack food.
None of us may have any idea what the hell is going on with the Navy and UFOs anymore, but I’ll tell you one thing: the Ferrero candy corporation must be loving all of the free publicity this whole Navy UFO saga has given to one of their flagship candies: the Tic Tac. Could all of this be some genius and far-reaching viral marketing for the diminutive candies? It’s perhaps as good as any other theory.
I wonder how all of this has affected Tic Tac sales.
The now-infamous Tic Tac UFO incidents have shaken the ufological world like few other accounts have, and the ensuing media frenzy seems to have even prompted the Navy itself to revise its protocols for how personnel document sightings of anomalous objects. Over the last two years, everyone with an interest in UFOs or the unexplained has speculated about who or what might be controlling the objects, with theories spanning the entire plausibility gamut: aliens, interdimensional beings, an underwater race of intelligent humans, mother nature herself, private aerospace firms, the U.S. military itself, or perhaps some other superpower. I’m sure I left some out. The point is, nobody has any clue.
While we’re no closer to understanding these incidents or the recent media blitz surrounding them, strange rumblings have been happening lately which seem to suggest that someoneknows who or what may be flying Tic Tacs around America’s airspace. Many have speculated that the entire Navy UFO saga may somehow be a misinformation campaign or psychological operation based on curious coincidences that keep adding up and strange statements made by U.S. government or military personnel. Could the Tic Tacs be ours?

The latest strange statement came this week via Quora, an online question-and-answer site that sometimes draws input from experts in various fields. In a Quora post from this month, Lockheed Martin staff physicist Ibteesam Reaz replied to the question “What are the most plausible explanations of Navy pilots seeing hypersonic objects at 30K feet, objects with no visible engine and sometimes described as a cube within a sphere?” In his response, Raez says that after all the reported circumstances are taken into account, there’s only one likely answer: the Tic Tac UFOs are American.
It’s important to point out that just because Reaz is a physicist at Lockheed Martin, he doesn’t necessarily have any insider information we’re not privy to concerning this truly confounding and still-unfolding saga of the Navy and weird objects bouncing around the sky, ignoring the laws of physics. The truly spooky top secret research projects are so tightly compartmentalized that few souls are ever made aware of them. Still, in his Quora response, Reaz says that based on the circumstantial evidence surrounding these sightings – the conspicuous location and timing of the sightings, the plainclothes personnel who confiscated recordings of the incidents – he feels we are “left with a stronger impetus to speculate that the US government does indeed have something to do with the Tic Tac.”
Now I can’t stop salivating thinking about those sweet, sweet Tic Tacs.
Reaz is quick to note though, that if the U.S. government or American private aerospace firms are indeed flying these beyond-next-generation aircraft, “the aerospace engineers who are not privy to the details of how the craft works are being played for fools” and wonders “why are we wasting so much sweat, hard work, money when some select group of people literally have technology that is beyond the reach of modern physics?”
Does that question really need to be answered? Think of the billions of dollars of wealth that would be redistributed once the next truly paradigm-exploding scientific breakthrough changes everything about human transportation and energy generation as we know it, not to mention the far-reaching geopolitical ramifications such a breakthrough would have. Could the Tic Tac indeed be a secret U.S. aerospace project that is too dangerous to reveal as many have speculated?

Ancient artificial islands in Scotland are much older than previously thought. In fact, the islands are thousands of years older which was determined by pottery that was found in Scottish lochs.
All across Scotland, there are hundreds of small man-made islands (or crannogs), specifically in the islands of the Outer Hebrides which are located off the north-west coast of the country. Previously, archaeologists thought that the oldest man-made island dated back to 800 B.C. during the Iron Age and that it was used for approximately 2,500 years.

However, a crannog located on the Outer Hebridean island of North Uist has been determined to date back to around 3700 B.C. during the Neolithic Period. This suggested that numerous other islands could also date back to that time period – thousands of years older than previously thought. And now it has been confirmed.
Well-preserved pots from the Neolithic Period located near a different crannog on the Outer Hebridean Isle of Lewis were discovered in 2012 by Chris Murray who was a former Navy diver. With the help from Murray, several other crannogs in the Outer Hebrides were then examined by Duncan Garrow from the University of Reading, UK, as well as one of his colleagues.
They used radiocarbon dating to determine how old the structural timbers and residue from the pots were and they concluded that they were from 3640 to 3360 B.C. Stones and wood were used to create the small islands. In fact, one of the islands that measured 26 by 22 meters was constructed with stones that each weighed up to 250 kilograms. It is believed that these crannogs were used for social gatherings, funerals, or ritualized feasting.

Of the hundreds of Neolithic pots that were discovered – some were found on the small islands, while the majority of them were discovered in the water – several of the pieces were surprisingly well preserved. Garrow wrote that the ceramics were intentionally put in the water based on how they were positioned and how many of them were discovered. Additionally, he mentioned that the ceramics pretty much remained in the same spots where they were left since the waters were so calm and stable – just waiting to be discovered over 5,000 years after they were put there.
To put this into an even better perspective, Stonehenge first started being built around 3100 B.C., several hundred years after the man-made islands of Scotland were created.
Missing Helicopter Found Crashed on UFO Hot Spot Catalina Island
Strange coincidences surrounding recent To the Stars Academy (TTSA) and Navy disclosures keep adding up – although coincidences are often just that: a remarkable concurrence of events without any causal connection. Or at least any obviousconnection.
For those of us who have been watching the long-awaited History Channel and TTSA series Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation know that the show has mainly rehashed and repackaged accounts that have been in circulation for some time. Still, it’s been interesting to see these individuals on screen after reading about them endlessly for the past two years. While the show’s contributions to ufology are still being debated, one of the more interesting revelations the series has presented so far has been its focus on a pair of islands just off the west coast of California and Baja California: Guadalupe Island and Catalina Island.

Guadalupe Island is home to a tiny Mexican military installation called Campamento Militar Isla Guadalupe featuring a 1,200-metre-long (3,900 ft) runway. Other than that, the island boasts less than 150 permanent residents, most of whom only live on the island during fishing season.
Catalina Island, meanwhile, has for years been considered somewhat of a UFO (and USO) hot spot due to the numerous sightings that have occurred on or around the island throughout its history. The waters surrounding the island are also the site of unusually large craters and several gravitational and magnetic anomalies believed to be the result of volcanic and seismic activity along fault lines. During World War Two, the U.S. Maritime Service U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Signal Corp, the Office of Strategic Services, and the U.S. Navy all either conducted training or operated facilities on the island. Today, Catalina Island boasts UFO tour companies to capitalize on the tiny island’s somewhat storied history.
According to the testimony of USS Nimitz radar operator Gary Voorhis, the infamous Tic-Tac UFOs were first detected in the vicinity of Catalina Island and later disappeared while heading south near Guadalupe Island. The significance of these islands to the developing Navy UFO story, if any, remains unknown. Now, just two weeks after Unidentified aired episodes featuring Luis Elizondo traveling to and around the island, a strange and unsolved aircraft crash has been reported on Catalina Island.
The resort town of Avalon on the island has long been a popular getaway for residents of Southern California.
According to local news reports, a helicopter that had been missing for over 20 hours was suddenly discovered on the island by Coast Guard and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel. Footage taken from nearby waters shows the wreckage of the helicopter lying atop a hill still smoldering. The pilot was found dead at the scene. How could a helicopter go missing for 20 hours on a populated island?
Details are still scarce, and both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation. The pilot was known to take recreational flights around the island, so it’s likely this was just an unfortunate accident. Still, it’s strange to see Catalina Island pop up in the news for an unexplained aircraft crash so shortly after the island was featured by To the Stars Academy as a UFO hot spot. Was this crash due to a mechanical failure or pilot error, and is the timing pure coincidence? Most likely, if not almost certainly. Or, perhaps far at the other end of the plausibility spectrum, could the unidentified aerial phenomena reported on the island for decades have anything to do with the crash? What about those magnetic anomalies?

Here is an interesting UFO seen by an asian tourist while visiting the pyramids in Egypt. The UFO streaks across the sky like a meteor, but then part of it shoots out another white orb and that orb travels in the opposite direction. It looks to me like the people who built the pyramids were doing a flyby to check on it.

The UFO is said to have hovered there for over three hours, then suddenly turns orange and disappears. This looks really big, about ten meters, so I imagine there are a lot of others who saw this UFO. Got an alert from a client who "got a call" from a friend. As you know, Wright Patterson Airforce Base is in Dayton, Ohio. If they had a radar, they'd know if there was something odd. I filmed this personally. Here is the entire video. It goes from blurry to focused because on the small screen I could not tell whether it was focused right, so I kept going back and forth to make sure that I got at least some clear footage -- and I did. Here is a great interview with the world famous Bob Lazar and George Knapp as they discuss element 115, raids, warrants, Area S4, the UFO Bob worked on, and so much more. Something that really hit me is when he was talking about the inside of the UFO. It has no seems, no right angles of any kind. He said the only way to turn off the UFOs engines is to take one of them ad tilt it 180 degrees until it shuts itself off. Absolute amazing, I really wish I had been there to do the interviews.
