Driving along the dusty stretch of the Stuart Highway between the towns of Alice Springs and Tennant Creek, in the Northern Territory, Australia, you may be held in awe by the sheer expanse of completely flat and barren sun-parched desert all around you. This is an arid realm seemingly devoid of life for large stretches, save some scattered brush and bushes, seemingly like the surface of some alien world, uninhabitable to humans. It is this sheer desolation and lack of any civilization as you meander along the bumpy, unkempt road that may cause you to be surprised to see spring up a sign that boldly states “Caution: Alien Landing Site Ahead.” As you drive on you may pass another sign with a prominent alien head on it welcoming you, as well as plastic statues of aliens. Then a ramshackle collection of shacks, a tiny gas station, and a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere, adorned with murals of aliens, UFOs, and with more alien statues standing around staring at you, the whole of it sitting within this inhospitable realm of dust, dirt, and sun. Welcome to the outback settlement of Wycliffe Well, the self-proclaimed “UFO Capitol of Australia.”

The remote, only partially inhabited roadside settlement originally began its life as a watering point along the stock route for the Overland Telegraph Line in the 1860s, going on to serves as a way-station for servicemen during World War II. During this time the area became well-known for its intense UFO activity, with soldiers reporting all manner of sightings nearly constantly. Before long, the area was attracting not only soldiers, but curiosity seekers and UFO buffs as well, who came here hoping to see strange things in the sky and for the most part rarely coming away disappointed. In the years after the war the visitors kept coming, and so a man by the name of Lew Farkas decided to capitalize on the region’s UFO craze by purchasing the local roadhouse in the 1980s to turn it into the Wycliffe Well Holiday Park. A gas station was put up, a bar installed on the premises to serve what he says is the best selection of beers found anywhere else, with about 300 different labels when fully stocked for all of those thirsty alien hunters, and the roadhouse turned into a sort of gas- food- lodging- general store- curio shop one stop shop for the many UFO nuts coming through, even setting up a campground, a large artificial lake for fishing and recreation area, a souvenir shop full of alien-themed oddities, and a sort of UFO museum with all manner of alien paraphernalia, all covering around 60 acres and creating a sort of oasis in the desert for those looking for aliens. He has said of the genesis of this strange place in an interview with Vice Magazine:

I read a journal, it might have been an American journal, that called Wycliffe the “UFO Capital of Australia.” I picked up on that and went with it. Originally, Wycliffe Well was just a fuel stop. When the highway opened, I started working on the idea that rather than tourists leaving Alice Springs and just heading blindly north, they’d be heading to me. I first arrived in Wycliffe in 1985. It was supposed to be a five-year experiment but five years turned into 25. The problem being that during that time, I just kept on investing in the place. There was already UFO activity in the area. I came here to discover that tourists were coming in just to have some sort of memento for this UFO spot. That’s how I started making up the souvenirs. Then, we made a mural of a UFO based on a sighting we had in the area. People would come and take a picture of that mural and nothing else. That’s how we started converting everything—every wall, every bit of space in the area—to do with space, to do with aliens, to do with UFOs. It got famous very quickly and it put Wycliffe Well on the world map.

Farkas made sure that the roadhouse was as alien-themed as possible. The roadhouse features a wide array of gimmicky plastic alien statues and mannequins, UFOs made out of junk, pictures of flying saucers and aliens everywhere. There is even an impressive UFO observation deck called “Mount Wycliffe,” which is built from corrugated iron nailed to the side of the machinery shed painted to look like rock and accessible by a stairway on the side. In the main lobby is a logbook for visitors to report any UFO sightings they’ve had, and it is bursting at the seams with hundreds of sightings reports and newspaper clippings of accounts from the area. Indeed, UFO reports have proven to be so frequent here that the Sun Herald newspaper and Time Magazine both ranked Wycliffe Well as one of the best spots in the world for seeing UFOs. In its heyday, it was claimed that you were more likely than not to see UFO activity here to some degree, and current owner Arc Vanderzalm has said of taking over the place and the many sightings here:

I don’t know what I was thinking when I arrived. My mind was boggling. There’s been four of five occasions when all the people out of the restaurant have gone out and observed something very unusual. It’s never the same twice. All types of different lights, changing direction, and colourful.

The original owner, Lew Farkas, said that during his decades-long tenure at Wycliffe there were hundreds of sightings, ranging from the odd to the truly fantastical, including people claiming to have seen aliens lurking about in the desert, and there were also some odd visitors to the site as well. Farkas has said of some of his weirder experiences during his years there:

On a lot of occasions people were getting chased down the highway by lights. They would pull up and be panicking so much that they would say, “Quick give us a room, we can’t stay out there.” So that was good for business… It chased people away at times, but it brought customers in too. One scientist came from England. He turned up with just a briefcase. He told us when he arrived that he was coming to investigate the sightings and that he could tell if there was anything in the atmosphere without even looking. When he opened up his briefcase, it was just like an old school lab. All these things would just fold out: little things zipping around, glass tubes, electronics. I don’t know how it worked, but he left happy.

The establishment has only a few permanent residents, but this little oddity out in the middle of nowhere still manages to pull in droves of visitors all the time. We are left to wonder just why this place should boast such nonstop UFO activity, and there have been plenty of theories, including that it is just headlights in the distance viewed over the flat landscape, misidentified planes, some sort of atmospheric or geological phenomenon, or of course actual alien spaceships. If these are truly alien UFOs, then what would draw them so heavily to this spot? Is it just the remoteness away from prying eyes? Is there some sort of base there? Perhaps it is a feature of the landscape or geology here that attracts them? Farkas has his own ideas, saying of it to Unexplained Australia:

Scientists say the sky is full of Ley Lines, which act like highways for the UFO’s to travel along. But these energy lines must meet somewhere and one of those crossroads or intersections lies directly above the middle of Australia. That’s why we see so many here.

What is going on here? Is there anything to this, or is it all just a cheesy marketing scheme? People continue to swear that they have come across UFOs here in this remote oasis of weirdness far from civilization, so it is hard to say. Whether there are any aliens and spaceships here or not, it is all a rather odd and wild ride, as well as an incredibly weird and yet undoubtedly charming roadside attraction in the badlands of Australia, perhaps worth checking out if you are ever passing through.

To paraphrase Jimmy Durante, “Everybody wants to get into the UFO act!” It started with the release of Navy radar images and photos of ship and pilot encounters and got hot when the Pentagon agreed to issue a report on UFOs – still scheduled for this month. Presidential candidates were asked about them during the 2020 campaign and late night talk show hosts seemed to ask every guest about them. Former President Barack Obama is already in the act, but he expanded his role recently, while the White House press secretary and a Pentagon spokesperson both got peppered with questions this week. What would Jimmy ‘The Schnoz’ Durante think?

“And so I would hope that the knowledge that there were aliens out there would solidify people’s sense that what we have in common is a little more important. But no doubt there would be immediate arguments about like, well, we need to spend a lot more money on weapons systems to defend ourselves. New religions would pop up. And who knows what kind of arguments we get into. We’re good at manufacturing arguments for each other.”

No, that wasn’t Durante’s answer — it came from former President Obama. In a wide-ranging interview with Ezra Klein of The New York Times, the questioning turned to his previously stated interest in knowing more about those recent UFOs. When asked what he thought would happen if they were proved to contain aliens, Obama suggested that instead of fighting them, humans would form new religions. To worship with them? To worship THEM? He didn’t say and the reporter unfortunately didn’t pursue that line of questioning.

Someone who would undoubtedly vote for weapons over bibles is John F. Kirby, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. In a recent press conference, he was asked repeatedly about UFOs, UAPs and the forthcoming Pentagon report on them. Kirby repeatedly deflected the questions to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Avril Haines – the first woman to lead the U.S. Intelligence Community. No, Haines wasn’t there to field the deflection. At least Lewis acknowledged them as “phenomena” rather than dismissing them.

What would DNI Avril Haines say?

“We take incursions into our airspace, both by identified and unidentified aircraft, very seriously and investigate each one.”

That’s what one would have expected from the DoD’s John F. Kirby or DNI Avril Haines, but that answer came from Jen Psaki, White House press secretary, at a briefing last week. However, she then mimicked Lewis.

“But ODNI would be working on that report and, in terms of disclosure, that would be up to them.”

When pressed on what President Biden thought about UFOs, Psaki said:

“Whether that is identified or unidentified aircraft, and we don’t discuss that publicly for a range of reasons, but certainly the President supports the ODNI putting together a report and following through on that commitment.”

What would Jimmy “The Schoz” Durante say about all of this?

They were there for two days, and these guys scared the shit out of everybody with their technology, and they talked openly. The two hovered over the runway for two days, never landed, no legs or nothing they just hovered over the damn runway. Its all on film, but the other guys come out, landed right inferno of the hanger got out and went over shoot hands or whatever I don’t know what the hell they did. McIntyre was present because Icke had invited him.

After it was all over with after the second day and these guys get back in their ship and off they go; our intelligence people got a hold of McIntyre and says Arch Bishop you gotta understand something, you can’t talk about anything you’ve seen, this is beyond top secret, you can’t say a word about what we have just experienced here.

A strange figure was seen...resembling an alien or ghostly figure was recorded along a road in India this week. Motorists were riding past when one motorcyclist with a helm cam recorded a strange figure walking carelessly along the road. The figure looks human enough, however its arms are 20% longer than humans. The whitish figure looks to be wearing a skin tight outfit or they are nude. When the motorcyclist with the camera slowed down...the figure stopped and turned around slowly. The person on the motorcycle lowered the camera to look at the ground...possibly not wanting to provoke the person in any way. The figure looks at them, then turns and begins on its way again. Then the motorcycle rides away. So much for our deep meaningful meeting with aliens revealing to us the answers to the universe. Instead...we have a drive by video shooting that goes viral. Aliens are getting closer and closer, my advice when you see one, stop and chat with it. Perhaps its wanted to give the cure to covid to someone but no-one would approach it. Perhaps it wanted to give them the secrets to immortality, and yet, no one cared enough to approach it and greet the alien. This is the world we live in.

UFO Exit Tunnel Collapses Leaving Sink Hole, Mexico, Video, UFO Sighting News.

I have said for years that sink holes are made by UFOs exiting and entering underground bases in locations where the entrances must be instantly filled in to avoid detection from the local humans on the surface. UFOs use technology that can compress the dirt, pushing it aside, and then traveling down the tunnel...as the tunnel behind them is closed in at the same time. Its a method that aliens often use to avoid the tunnels from being detected. However this one failed to fully fill in and caused a collapse which could eventually engulf and swallow the house near it. If we were to drill a hole 6km below this very tunnel...we would find a thriving city underground with around 5,000-10,000 alien residents. We UFO researchers have long known about the UFO bases below Mexico due to the huge amount of UFOs recorded entering and exiting the Colima and Popocatepetl on live cams over the last ten years. This hole is absolute proof that I was right about the alien base exiting below Mexico.

Now watching this video of a glowing light during the day tells me that aliens are putting more and more effort into revealing themselves to us. It also worries me that the UFOs are coming so close to humans at this time. What I mean is that covid is here and its been around for a year and a half now. These craft are getting more and more bold, coming closer and closer to humans witnessing the events. I feel that even the aliens themselves do not want to expose themselves to the covid19 virus so we will continue to see craft and have very little if any actual contact videos until this virus is contained. Germany if you didn't know it, was controlling the virus very well compared to the rest of the world. They have created a vaccine that works great at stopping it from killing humans. Aliens would have a great interest in Germany because of this. This UFO is recording data and activities of people and how they attempt to get into a normal way of life as they adapt to living with covid all around them.

Explanations for UFOs Transition From Extraordinary to Increasingly Plausible

UFO-related news was taboo in mainstream media or was featured for entertainment purposes and not taken seriously. But this has changed now with tantalizing reporting by Fox News, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and 60  Minutes. Mysterious UFO phenomena are now publicly known and officially acknowledged. After eliminating unlikely explanations for these phenomena, two mind-blogging explanations are increasingly plausible—an extraordinary leap by a foreign government theory and non-human technology at work theory. Either idea would have profound global implications.

While the community of debunkers and skeptics makes convincing arguments that UFO incidents have prosaic explanations, years of study by government analysts with access to several encounters and an array of sensitive data cannot be easily chalked up to mundane factors.

Former President Obama confirmed that “there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are.” These UFOs move in ways that defy any “easily explainable pattern.”

John Ratcliffe, former President Trump’s director of national intelligence, drilled down even more profound, saying that UFOs “engage in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are hard to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for.”

John Brennan, Obama’s CIA director and a fierce critic of Ratcliffe, went even further by publicly theorizing that the objects might “constitute a different form of life.”

These statements from Obama, Ratcliffe, and Brennan strongly suggest that intelligence analysts have concluded that everyday factors cannot explain these incidents after drawing specialized technical expertise and a wide array of supporting sensor data.

A pilot also reportedly encountered mysterious flying objects. Backed by an array of sensor data and several of his fellow naval aviators, he believes that the thing he chased was not from this world.

Luis Elizondo, who led the Pentagon’s effort to assess these UFO incidents, speculates that we may not be alone.

The U.S. government has nearly unlimited investigatory capabilities but still considered “alien” technology to explain UFO phenomena. This alone is a jaw-dropping development.  The stakes are enormous to ignore them.

There was even confusion at the Roswell Army Air Field: before orders were put into place to prevent anyone talking, the press-office at the base issued a statement saying that a flying disc (as UFOs were known back then) had been recovered and was due to be inspected.

“The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509^th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff’s office of Chavez County. The flying object landed on a ranch near Roswell sometime last week. Not having phone facilities, the rancher stored the disc until such time as he was able to contact the sheriff’s office, who in turn notified Major Jesse A. Marcel of the 509^th Bomb Group Intelligence Office. Action was immediately taken and the disc was picked up at the rancher’s home. It was inspected at the Roswell Army Air Field and subsequently loaned by Major Marcel to higher headquarters.”

The military quickly knocked that statement down, claiming that what had been recovered was nothing stranger than a weather-balloon. As for the bodies, the Air Force would not even address that matter until 1997, when they claimed that the bodies were, in fact, crash-test dummies used in high-altitude parachute experiments. It was also in the nineties that the Air Force changed its mind again on what came down on William Braazel’s ranch. It was no longer a weather-balloon, but a Mogul balloon, designed to monitor for Soviet atomic bomb tests. In 1993, all of this chopping and changing caught the attention of the late Steven Schiff, at the time the Congressman of New Mexico – the state in which the Roswell event occurred. Far from happy by what he saw as some kind of cover-up, Schiff approached the Government Accountability Office (at the time, it was known as the General Accounting Office) and asked them to look into the Roswell affair and see what might be found. The GAO was enthused about the idea of looking into Roswell. It was, however, not so much what the GAO found that intrigued them, but what they couldn’t find.

As the GAO dug deeper and deeper, they learned to their amazement and concern that every single outgoing message from the old Roswell Army Air Field, from 1945 to 1951, could not be located. The files were gone. All of them. The GAO approached the Air Force and the National Archives for answers. There were no answers. Only puzzles. The National Archives checked their files: no luck. The Air Force came up blank, too. Rumors began to surface that when Steven Schiff approached the GAO in 1993, someone who was sitting on the Roswell story quickly realized that the truth of the 1947 incident was now in danger of being compromised, so a decision was quickly taken to have the original papers – wherever they were stored – destroyed. For whatever reasons some people seem to draw alleged alien forces to them, sometimes even being abducted by them multiple times. There is some quality to them that makes these individuals prone to contact with UFOs and aliens, often numbering into the dozens of times for reasons we may never truly fathom. One very strange case comes to us from England, with a boy who would not only be frequently visited by supposed alien entities, but would also manifest strange psychic abilities and a bizarre connection with these creatures that makes his case even weirder than most.

One day in July of 1987, a boy named Jason Kent was celebrating his 4th birthday at his rural country home near Slade, Green in Kent. It was a joyous day for everyone involved, the weather was nice, and everyone was having fun, but things suddenly took a turn for the strange. Out of seemingly nowhere dark clouds rolled in and thunder began to shake the sky, causing everyone to go inside as the rain began pouring down in torrents. As they all looked outside in bafflement as to why the clear day had so abruptly become dark and stormy there was an incredibly bright flash of lightning, almost blinding in its intensity, and that’s when little Jason began to act rather oddly. He seemed to go into some sort of trance, after which he began blurting out complex mathematical equations, including what his mother would describe as “fantastic numbers, huge numbers, strange algebraic configurations, mathematical terms like ‘pi’ and ‘binary codes’.” It was all far beyond what a 4-year-old would know, indeed even the adults present had no idea what they meant, and he continued rapidly rattling off these mysterious equations and numbers for several minutes before he suddenly turned to his father and calmly said, “They are waiting for me. I have to go.”

Before Jason’s father could even process what was going on, the boy was made to open the door to step out into the downpour outside, his father grabbing him to hold him back just in time. Jason allegedly struggled against his father, completely set on going out of the house, and then, just as fast as it had come the storm was gone. The black clouds evaporating, the thunder stopped its relentless roar, and the sun shone again. Jason was calm once again, but when his family asked him what had happened and what those numbers had meant, he seemed to have no memory of what had happened. Indeed, he didn’t even seem to realize that there had been a storm at all.

After this strange incident Jason began to have frequent potent nightmares that got so bad that he would often wake in the middle of the night shouting and screaming, sending his mother running to his aid. He never seemed to be aware of what the nightmares were about, and they only got worse. His worried parents would bring him to various psychiatrists, psychologists, child behaviorists, and sleep experts, but no one could quite figure out what was wrong with him, or why he should be having these intense nightmares. It wasn’t until he was 12 years old that he would gradually come to an awareness of what was happening during these rather frightening night time episodes, some of the memories seeping through into his waking moments, and he would tell his mother one day of what he could remember from these incidents:

It’s always the light that comes first. Then I see the tall one rise up at the foot of the bed. Suddenly there’s lots of little ones everywhere. They’re fuzzy and indistinct, and they move very fast. I can’t move or speak, but I’m awake and I can see and hear and feel. I want to scream and run, but the sound doesn’t come out and my body doesn’t move. I hate them. I hate them. I have to go with them. They take me to an operating theatre, like at the hospital. It’s all white and shiny. Sometimes it’s a circular room with a metal floor. It’s always cold. They’re there. The big one touches me but I don’t feel it, like as if I’ve had an anesthetic. But you don’t believe me, you just think I’m making it all up.

At first he was right, she didn’t really believe it, but Jason insisted it was real, keeping to his story as the years went on, and his older brother Daniel also said it was true. Ann was perplexed enough to begin looking into any information she could find on UFOs and alien abductions, curious as to what might be going on. She has said of this in an interview with researcher and author Sean Casteel:

Even at that point, though, we were not convinced, but rather we believed that Jason believed it, and it was this belief of his which drove us to searching for books and information. We thought that the more we could learn about this subject of UFOs and aliens, then we would be better armed, as it were, to help our son. We were not ready for what we actually discovered; we could not believe the similarities between some of things Jason had been saying since he was first able to speak, and what we were reading. His story had not changed in all those years. I would add, however, that we did not accept this situation just like that. My greatest regret in all this is that it took me so many years to accept it.

Ann would end up reaching out to actual UFO researchers in an effort to find out what was going on, with one researcher and author Jean Ritchie speculating that these aliens had taken an interest in him because he was psychic or special somehow, perhaps what is called an “Indigo Child,” a child who is particularly spiritually in tune with the universe, usually described as having a special connection with aliens or as even being alien-human hybrids. Over the years these claims of psychic abilities would allegedly turn out to be true, with Jason exhibiting various psychic abilities that he either already had or which had been granted to him by his otherworldly abductors. Ann would later say of this:

Daniel certainly still has certain abilities, which I know have something to do with the ETs and go back to when they were actually interacting with him. He has the ability to ‘know’ someone just by shaking hands with them. He can tell what sort of person they are, how their life has been so far, family stuff, etc. He would be worth his weight in gold probably to a big corporation in the recruitment department, but he won’t acknowledge this ability and sees it as a curse rather than a gift. You have to understand that when Jason was growing up, until his early teens, he was terrified of his experiences. It wasn’t until he started to overcome his fears and listen to ‘them’ that he started realizing his abilities—abilities that he says everyone has but which are just lying dormant. Over the last few years, he has really excelled in what he does, although his mind reading can be quite frustrating at times. It means that you can’t keep secrets.

As all of this was going on, there were some other strange things going on at their rural property. According to Jason’s family, they had some cattle turn up dead for unspecified reasons, and although the local law enforcement declared it was due to salmonella poisoning, a rumor made the rounds that an Army major had allegedly told locals that the deaths had actually been caused by an experiment with microwaves. The family claimed that more and more military personnel would show up in the area from time to time, and that in the end they were told to leave their farm, forcing them to move to Lincolnshire. What was going on here and what did this have to do with Jason’s strange experiences and newfound powers? Ann has said of what she thinks of all of this:

I believe that the powers that be resented the fact that ETs would want to interact with ordinary people. It all comes back to their power plays eventually. Perhaps they thought that by getting rid of us, that the ETs would start interacting with them. It could also be that the base at Mereworth has some sort of underground facilities, too, and I now feel that the deaths of our cattle and other animals were all connected to the military as well as—or instead of —the ETs. It could be that they were concerned that we might be affected by some sort of new technology they were using. After all, it’s easier to cover up animal deaths—which they did by blaming salmonella—than to explain human deaths.

Jason’s alien visitations would become less frequent as he grew up, until they stopped altogether, but he still retained his psychic powers, and according to his mother even healing powers. She has over the years gone from that scared, initially skeptical woman to being convinced that Jason is actually what she calls a “walk-in,” or an alien soul inhabiting her son’s human body and able to travel between the two planes of existence. She has also written a book on Jason and UFOs in general called Jason, My Indigo Child, which goes into great depth their experiences and struggles throughout the whole bizarre ordeal. What it is it about this boy that would draw such forces to him? What did they want with him? What does any of it really mean? Is there even anything to it at all? It is all certainly one of the more interesting repeat abductees on record, and whatever the answers may be it is all very strange, indeed.

Honderd dagen al vertoeft rover Perseverance op de rode planeet. De Marsjeep maakte er onder meer foto’s van de bodem van de planeet, van zijn eigen camera’s en van de vluchten van minihelikopter Ingenuity. Een overzicht.

Perseverance (Volharding) landde op 18 februari in de Jezero-krater op Mars. De krater heeft een diameter van 49 km en  is ontstaan door een meteorietinslag. Ooit bevond er zich waarschijnlijk water op de bodem. Als er al ooit leven was op de rode planeet, dan zouden daar dus mogelijk fossielen van oude buitenaardse microben kunnen worden aangetroffen.

Camera’s aan boord van de rover en op de jetpack die hem naar het oppervlak van Mars liet zakken, legden de allereerste videobeelden vast van een landing op Mars.

Sinds de landing is Perseverance niet opgehouden met het schieten van plaatjes, die worden doorgestraald naar de Aarde. De Marsrobot heeft zelf 23 camera’s, onder meer om zonder kleerscheuren over de bodem van de planeet te kunnen rijden, maar ook om ingenieurs op Aarde toe te laten de rover te kunnen checken. 

Eerst kwam de landingsomgeving aan de beurt. Perseverance mengde 142 foto’s om een panoramisch beeld te creëren.

Nee, er zijn geen regenbogen op Mars. “Regenbogen worden gecreëerd door licht dat weerkaatst wordt door ronde waterdruppels, maar er is hier niet genoeg water om te condenseren en het is te koud voor vloeibaar water in de atmosfeer”, tweette de Marsrover. Toch lijkt het zo op deze foto. Het gaat om een zogenaamde lensflare, verklapt Perseverance.

Een van de hoogtepunten tot nu toe is ongetwijfeld het lossen van het meegereisde helikoptertje Ingenuity (Vindingrijkheid) uit de buik van de Perseverance, om het daarna te zien opstijgen.

Nadat Ingenuity voet op Mars had gezet, keek Perseverance zijn reisgenootje nog even na toen hij ervan wegreed.

De selfie van Perseverance met op de achtergrond de Ingenuity ging de hele wereld rond. De Marsrover zou zich daarna klaarzetten om de eerste vlucht van Ingenuity te filmen. In werkelijkheid is de selfie een mozaïek van 62 afzonderlijke beelden.

De eerste vlucht van een gemotoriseerd vliegtuig op een andere planeet vond op 19 april 2021 plaats en werd inderdaad op beeld vastgelegd. Een sterk staaltje technologie was het. De atmosfeer van Mars heeft slechts 1% van de dichtheid van de atmosfeer van de aarde. Dat Ingenuity de lucht inging, is dan ook het aardse equivalent van vliegen op drie keer de hoogte van de Mount Everest.

En toen was het tijd voor de eigenlijke wetenschappelijke missie van Perseverance: stalen van Marsgesteente verzamelen die resten kunnen bevatten van oud microbiologisch leven op de rode planeet. Een toekomstige NASA-missie moet deze monsters weer naar de aarde brengen. De Mastcam-Z-camera legde onder meer dit beeld vast van ‘Santa Cruz’, een heuvel op ongeveer 2,4 kilometer afstand van Perseverance.

De camera’s van Perseverance zoomden ook in op mysterieuze rotsen op de Marsbodem. NASA was zo geïnteresseerd in deze gesteenten dat het besloot om de robotjeep er wat langer te laten verblijven. De wetenschappers willen achterhalen of dit vulkanisch gesteente is dan wel het soort dat uit riviersediment komt. En zo kan Ingenuity bovendien blijven vliegen.

Hierna is de bestemming van Perseverance: de kliffen van de rivierdelta die ooit het meer van Jezero van water voorzagen. De wetenschappers verwachten daar grond en gesteente te vinden, rijk aan oude rivierafzettingen van modder en klei. En... misschien fossielen van microben die er nog in vastzitten.

Long Description of Sighting Report

I did not see this anomaly in person. I was inside my home when our Ring system sounded. A few minutes later, I decided to look at the history on our Ring to see what it had detected, which you can see in the video I am attaching.

It appears to be lights in a circular or oval shape and looks transparent. The top row of lights are white; the lower rows are bluish with one or two white lights in the lowest row. It looks almost like a projection. You can also see a reflection on the paved driveway below the image. The object was moving quickly and headed directly toward our garage then appears to twist and rise when it gets to the garage as if it’s going to go over it. Other than crickets, I hear no other sound.

It is not definitive to me whether it came through the wooded buffer between us and our neighbor, or down our driveway. It does look more like it came from the wooded area (an approximately 20-25’ strip buffer of mature trees.)

The following morning I looked around the yard and found nothing odd.

Walking my dog on my own, this light was disappearing and reappearing. The distance from disappearing to reappearing would be huge at the distance. I only managed to get the last disappearance and reappearance on camera though the distances were a lot more than this previously. I show the moon in the video as it gives some perspective of the brightness of the object.

Alien Base Found In Antartica On Google Earth Map, Video, UFO Sighting News.

This long structure was found on Google Earth Map and it reveals a detailed building complex that is over 66km long. The structure has many right angles and has the same thickness the whole ways. At area #3 on the screenshot, I see a larger part of the structure, probably the main hanger for vehicles...spacecraft to land. The symmetry, shadows and shape all point to this being an alien base. We need to organize an expedition there to confirm it. The expedition needs to have underground radar in case the structure has been covered up over the years by snow or ice.

“They are real”: Ex-fighter pilot who witnessed the Tic-Tac UFO speaks

A former US Navy fighter pilot who witnessed the ‘Tic-Tac’ UFO said her fellow airmen kept quiet for fear of being labeled wacko

Lt. Commander Alex Dietrich was training with a strike group approximately 100 miles southwest of San Diego when she and another pilot spotted the mysterious object.

Along with his fellow former pilot, Commander Dave Fravor, who was also on the training mission, he has now been talking about the encounter.

Videos of the encounter, along with another in Florida, were first released by the Pentagon in 2020.

Dietrich told CBS ’60 Minutes’ that the fighter pilots had struggled with how much to reveal about the encounter as the descriptions sounded “crazy.”

“Over beers we said, ‘Hey, if I had seen this solo, I don’t know if I would have come back and said something,’ ‘Dietrich said during the interview. “Because it sounds so crazy when I say it.”

Favor and Dietrich were each flying an F / A-18F fighter jet when they said they saw an anomalous object flying in their vicinity.

“He wasn’t identified, and that’s why it was so unsettling for us because we didn’t expect it. We couldn’t classify it, ”Dietrich said.

At the same time, the ship that was part of his training team, the USS Princeton, detected “multiple anomalous aerial vehicles” on the horizon descending 80,000 feet in less than a second.

The former fighter pilot said she felt threatened by the mysterious object. “I felt the vulnerability of having nothing to defend ourselves.

And then I was confused when it disappeared, ”she said.

Dietrich told the Washington Post that people had contacted her over the years to find out more about what she had seen.

“I feel a duty and an obligation. I was on a taxpayer-funded plane, doing my job as a military officer, ”he said.

“Citizens have questions. It is not classified. If I can share or help give a reasonable answer, I will. I don’t want to be someone who says “no comment.” “

But Dietrich says he is still reluctant to associate himself with the Tic-Tac sighting saying, “I don’t want to be the faculty UFO fanatic.”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Marco Rubio gave his takes on a wide range of issues from why he voted against the Jan. 6th Commission, to John Cena’s apology video to why he thinks there should be more investigation into the reports of UFOs near military installations.

Area 51, Nevada and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at Dayton, Ohio have one thing in common. Namely, and within UFO lore and legend, both facilities are said to be the “homes” to unclear numbers of extraterrestrial bodies. Either on ice or dissected. Numerous other places are said to be the secret storage areas for the alleged, legendary dead aliens. That said, let’s now take a look at some of those cases and locations. If tales of crashed UFOs are your thing, then you will probably have heard of the alleged UFO crash on the Berwyn Mountains, North Wales on the night of January 23, 1974. There are rumors of roads cordoned off by military units, of strange bodies secretly taken to a certain place known as Porton Down, and located in Wiltshire, England. The BBC say: “Porton Down was set up in 1916. It was a center designed to test chemical and biological weapons. Nerve gases such as Sarin and CS gas were tested on volunteer servicemen. Servicemen were offered around £2 and three days leave as an incentive to take part in tests. Very few servicemen knew what they were volunteering for and some were even told it was research into the cure for the common cold. In 1953 it is alleged that serviceman Ronald Maddison died after taking part in a Sarin gas experiment. In 1962, one of Porton Down’s own scientists, Geoffrey Bacon died of the plague. Since the end of WWII, 20,000 people have taken part in experiments at Porton Down.”

Moving on: In 1977, the late UFO researcher Leonard Stringfield revealed a similar story in his then-newly-published book, Situation Red: The UFO Siege. The story was give to Stringfield by another UFO researcher, Sherman Larsen. According to Larsen, he had a contact – a minister -who had a sinister tale to tell. Supposedly, the incident occurred in the late 1940s or early 1950s, when the source was a boy. Father and son, we are told, got lost in none other than the Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. Unable to find a way out, they headed down one particular corridor, entered a room, and were confronted by the shocking sight of a number of small, humanoid bodies contained in a large container with a glass top. MIB types suddenly descended on the pair – warning them never to talk about what they had just seen.

Leonard Stringfield was also told of several old pieces of film that seemingly showed alien corpses. One such story came to Stringfield by “T.E.” He was a young man who said that he saw just such a film in 1953 – when he was only twenty – at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Yes, yet another facility. According to what Stringfield knew, T.E. and some of his colleagues were taken to a room where they were told they were about to watch a piece of film. Stringfield wrote: “Without any briefing, the 16mm movie projector was flicked on and the film began to roll on the screen…the film showed a desert scene dominated by a silver disc-shaped object embedded in the sand…” Stringfield continued that there “was a change of scenes.” The story went on: “Now in view were two tables, probably taken inside a tent, on which, to his surprise, were dead bodies. T.E. said the bodies appeared little by human standards and most notable were the heads, all looking alike, and all being large compared to their body sizes…They looked Mongoloid.” The men were advised to “think about the movie.” It is no surprise at all that that is exactly what they did. A few days later, however, they were all told, “It was a hoax.”

Are there really the remains of dead aliens on ice at multiple facilities around the world? Certainly, enough such claims have been made. But, so far, that’s all we have: claims. And, right now, that’s not enough. Unless, of course, someone out there knows better.

We know that the infant Milky Way began taking shape relatively early in the history of the universe. It probably existed for quite some time as a tiny dwarf galaxy. Then, it began to merge with others to “plump up” and grow.

Today, the Milky Way continues to dance the galaxy formation tango with other dwarf galaxies, such as the Sagittarius Dwarf. And, we know that it will eventually do an interactive dance with the Andromeda Galaxy. That series of galaxy collisions and interactions will happen several billion years from now. For now, it seems, that our galaxy is still forming through mergers. And, astronomers have some interesting tools to probe the details of the stars that got brought into the Milky Way.

The First Big Galaxy Collision

A couple of weeks ago, Ohio State University researchers released new information about the earliest stages of the Milky Way’s birth and growth. It seems the young Milky Way experienced a major merger with an orbiting satellite galaxy called Gaia-Enceladus. That happened about 10 billion years ago and influenced the distribution of stars in the galaxy.

Fiorenzo Vincenzo, who works at OSU’s Center for Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, and a team of astronomers, wanted to know exactly what happened as a result of that merger. Specifically, what can the stars of our galaxy tell us about that ancient event?

They used several techniques to answer that, including asterochronology, asteroseismology, and a spectroscopic survey called APOGEE. Asterochronology studies the ages of stars to trace the basic “mergers and acquisitions” that helped form the Milky Way. Asteroseismology looks inside stars by studying their oscillations to get precise ages. The spectroscopic studies reveal the chemical compositions of stars. The combination of all three approaches gives amazingly good estimates for the ages and origins of stars in our galaxy.

“Our evidence suggests that when the merger occurred, the Milky Way had already formed a large population of its own stars,” said Vincenzo.

By calculating the ages of stars throughout our galaxy, the researchers determined something interesting. The stars captured from Gaia-Enceladus have similar or slightly younger ages than the majority of stars that already existed there.

During the merger, many of the infant Milky Way’s batch of “homemade” stars ended up in the “thick disk” that occupies the middle of the galaxy. The stars that were captured from Gaia-Enceladus during the merger exist mostly in the outer halo of our galaxy.

What Galaxy Collisions Change

Today, we know that most galaxies grow through mergers and acquisitions. So, it seems like a fairly normal occurrence in the universe. The merger of the baby Milky Way with Gaia-Enceladus was one of the most important in the Milky Way’s history. It shaped the galaxy we see today. It “shook things up”, by changing the orbits of stars already in the Milky Way.

Many stars were pushed into eccentric orbits. The stars from the long-disappeared Gaia-Enceladus, move in different ways than the “native” stars. Upon closer examination, stars that came from Gaia-Enceladus have different chemical compositions from those born inside the Milky Way.

NASA Scientist: We Should Take UFOs as Seriously as Mars Research

"Ultimately, understanding UAP is a science problem. We should treat it that way."

“This is where scientists, notably absent from the current UAP conversation, come in,” Kopparapu argues. For too long, he says, the topic of UFOs been disregarded as baseless conspiracy, driven by a “vacuum of knowledge that is being filled by unscientific claims thanks to a lack of scientific investigation.”

The news comes after several military pilots have discussed strange objects that appeared to defy the laws of physics, traveling without visible means of propulsion at many times the speed of sound.

“It’s a technology that outstrips our arsenal by at least 100 to 1,000 years at the moment,” retired US Navy Chief Master-at-Arms Sean Cahill told CNN in a televised interview earlier this month.

That means, if they are indeed adversaries within US borders, that would be bad news.

“We had a massive intelligence failure, and we have an unknown threat that we need to figure out,” Christopher Mellon, former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence, told CNN during the same interview.

But rather than arming ourselves against a largely invisible threat, according to Kopparapu, we should first figure out how to get a better understanding of what the pilots saw.

He says that we should be treating the UAP reports with the same seriousness as exploring the surface of Mars for signs of life.

“The research has been complex, evidence-based and demanding, pulling in scientists from across disciplines and all around the globe,” he writes in his opinion piece. “The same should be true for the exploration of UAP sightings.”

To Kopparapu, we simply need more data, from visual, infrared, radar, and other observations with the help of scientists from across the various disciplines. Such a scientific approach could eventually “go a long way toward lifting the taboo in mainstream science.”

“Ultimately, understanding UAP is a science problem,” he concludes. “We should treat it that way.”

Nuclear Physicist Says US Government Covered Up UFO Incidents

Respected nuclear physicist and UFOlogist Stanton Friedman maintains that the United States government hides the truth about UFO incidents from the public.

Stanton Friedman has investigated UFOs for over fifty years, searching for scientific proof of their existence. He’s a retired nuclear physicist who has worked on highly classified projects involving fusion and fission rockets and nuclear aircraft for state-of-the-art companies including General Electric, Westinghouse, McDonnell Douglas, General Motors and Aerojet General Nucleonics.

In July, an unknown object crashed into a field near the town that, according to the initial official report, was a flying saucer. The US Air Force quickly changed the story, claiming it was a weather balloon.

Three decades after the Roswell incident, Friedman met with key military personnel who were involved in the investigation. He was told about witnesses who saw the object crash and he learned that pieces of an unknown metal and bodies were recovered. He is now convinced there was a Roswell cover up.

Physicist Blasts SETI Institute’s Handling of UFO Incidents

Friedman is angered by the attitude of scientists who use radio and optical telescopes to search for extraterrestrial existence, including people at the SETI Institute in California.

SETI is an acronym for Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. The private nonprofit organization’s members claim their purpose is to scientifically discover the beginning, character and frequency of life in the universe.

Friedman is disturbed by the fact that they don’t reference any evidence to support the existence of UFOs.

UFO Incidents were Covered Up According to Physicist

Friedman is convinced that the government has known about UFOs since 1947. He believes that some are spacecrafts piloted by intelligent extraterrestrials and there has been an extensive government cover up, although a few select officials are privy to top secret UFO information.

Friedman cites two similar cases and the debunkers’ explanation. In 1958, the crew and scientists aboard the Brazilian ship Almirante Saldanha saw and photographed a Saturn-shaped object that approached land and made a steep turn before rapidly flying away.

At the time, Brazil’s President Juscelino Kubitschek confirmed the authenticity of the photographs. A 747 over Alaska encountered an object twice the size of an aircraft carrier that circled the jet.

Both the UFO and the 747 were picked up by radar. The debunkers claimed the radar detected the planet Jupiter!

Physicist’s Thoughts about the Government’s Cover Up

Other scientists have suggested earth has been visited by extraterrestrials. Friedman is the most vociferous. Why would the government cover up UFO incidents when there is evidence, primarily witnesses and photographs, that they exist?

During Project Blue Book’s era, the time of the Cold War, the reason for cover ups was national security. This entity was the branch of the USAF that investigated UFOs.

Government officials thought that knowledge of UFOs’ existence and extraterrestrials would cause people to panic like they did during Orson Wells’ 1938 broadcast of War of the Worlds about a fictional Martian attack.

People thought the invasion was real because there were simulated news bulletins. Friedman believes this has changed and that, from a national security perspective, some people would want to capture a UFO, find out how it works and use it against the enemy. How does one acquire a UFO? His answer was to wait until one crashes.

Government Still Covers Up UFO Incidents

In 1965, a UFO crashed in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania that was dubbed the Roswell of the East because of the similarities. There have been sightings, photographs and, later, videos of unknown objects flying through the sky since 1947.

There were a multitude of surveys and polls that have shown many people are interested in and some are concerned about UFOs during the past fifty years.

A recent poll indicated that that nearly three-quarters of Americans thought the government isn’t revealing all it knows about UFOs and over two-thirds of the respondents thought the government knows more about extraterrestrial life than it releases.

In recent years, hundreds of planets circling other suns have been discovered. It’s believed planets that can sustain intelligent life similar to earth is ten to the tenth power. In 2008, the Pope’s chief astronomer, the Reverend Gabriel Funes, stated that intelligent beings created by God could exist in the universe.

All of this makes Friedman optimistic that there will be some proof, albeit partial, that earth isn’t the only planet having intelligent life in the universe, during his lifetime.
