UFOs In Space Recorded During Space Shuttle and Apollo Missions

UFOs In Space Recorded During Space Shuttle and Apollo Missions

Although NASA is commissioning a study team to start early in the fall to examine unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) – that is, observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena as well as NASA wants to transform satellites into alien seekers to probe unexplained sightings in space, it might be better that NASA check their archive first as overwhelming evidence is present on footage from, among others, the Space Shuttle and Apollo Missions showing UFOs in space and above the Lunar surface.
Proof of the existence of UFOs what they have withheld from the public all the years.

UFOs%20in%20space%20(1).jpg

UFOs%20in%20space%20(2).jpg

During the Space Shuttle flights many recordings were made by the astronauts. Some of these recordings show objects in space that clearly cannot be meteorites, space junk, or lightning storms.

UFOs%20in%20space%20(3).jpg
These objects change direction, slow down, make 90 and 180 degree turns before speeding up and disappearing into space. Only UFOs or unknown probes under intelligent control can perform this kind of maneuvers.

Also during the Apollo flights, recordings were made by the astronauts in which UFOs can be seen.
UFOs%20in%20space%20(4).jpg

One such example is the footage recorded by the Apollo 11 crew showing a UFO flying just above the moon's surface.

And what about the astronaut who saw a UFO during the Apollo 17 Mission.
Normally NASA astronauts follow a "script" and they know exactly what and when to say.
UFOs%20in%20space%20(1).png
But during the Apollo 17 mission this astronaut however was too shocked by something he had never seen before. He forgets his "lines" and no longer follows the script. Instead a long and not planned discussion and conversation starts. The astronaut is truly amazed. Unlike his colleague, who seems to be in charge. The astronaut asks what these objects were that flew over his head. Than it becomes hilarious. Flabbergasted, the second astronaut does also not know what to say! This was not planned and not in the script. He is however aware of the fact that they are being watched by NASA officials.
After a short period of silence he says that it was a blast coming from the dial shaped disc of the high gain antenna on the rover (vehicle). More objects start flying over and again we hear genuine excitement. Than the astronaut realizes that he had said something he should not have said in front of the cameras and NASA. He reluctantly accepts the vague explanation. He is really annoyed and you hear sarcasm and disbelief in the undertone of his voice.
NASA tries to save this unpleasant situation and intervenes as CAPCOM confirms that it was a blast from the antenna and that it happened before.
According to the astronaut who clearly is in charge, this blast from the antenna is just "routine".
This is an interesting video. Styrofoam blowing up? This has happened before? When this really would be the case, would they not have taken countermeasures? Space programs are planned with utmost precision and they do not take any risks with equipment and astronauts. So what do you think after having seen the footage? Was it a blast from the antenna? Exploding Styrofoam?
Or is someone not telling us the truth and these two astronauts had a couple "visitors" passing by.

We Went Alien Hunting With Conspiracy Theorists

We Went Alien Hunting With Conspiracy Theorists

We Went Alien Hunting With Conspiracy Theorists

Mysterious flying objects seem to be having their moment in Washington. In January, the Pentagon was tasked with setting up a permanent office to investigate sightings of ‘unidentified aerial phenomena’, commonly known as UFOs. Then in May, Congress held its first public hearing on the subject in over 50 years. This recent shift hasn’t stemmed nearly century-old theories about UFOs landing on Earth and coverups but to some, it’s a sign Disclosure, or complete transparency on everything the government knows about UFOs, might be on the horizon.

Researchers Turn Dead Spiders Into 'Necrobotic' Grippers

Researchers Turn Dead Spiders Into 'Necrobotic' Grippers

See how engineers at Rice University transformed wolf spiders into necrobots.

Grippers made from dead spiders. For some, this might sound like a horror movie. For others, it's a fascinating mashup of robotics and the natural world.

A team of engineers at Rice University worked out how to reanimate (after a fashion) the legs of dead spiders. This isn't a Frankenstein's monster sort of situation. The researchers used a needle and air to activate the spider legs, mimicking how the appendages work in living spiders. Because the spiders are dead and are used in a robotic fashion, the engineers call this "necrobotics."

Mechanical engineering graduate student Faye Yap is the lead author of a paper on the spider project published in the journal Advanced Science this week. "It happens to be the case that the spider, after it's deceased, is the perfect architecture for small scale, naturally derived grippers," said co-author Daniel Preston in a Rice statement on Monday.

It's one thing to read about this project and another to see it in action. Fortunately (or not depending on how you feel about all this), Rice delivered a video that explains the process for creating the necrobots and shows how it works.

When alive, spiders use blood to extend and contract their legs through a hydraulic process. The researchers euthanized wolf spiders, inserted a needle into the chamber of the body that controls the legs, sealed it with glue and then used air to trigger the opening and closing of the legs.

The gripper spiders were able to lift more than their own body weight, including another spider and small objects like parts on a circuit board.

The team sees some advantages to necrobotic spiders. The little grippers can grab irregular objects, blend into their environment and also biodegrade over time. The researchers hope to try this method out with smaller spiders. They also plan to work out how to trigger the legs individually.

As this work advances, I'm looking forward to a new type of Transformers. Necrobots, reach out!

From the robo-surgeon that killed its patient to the driverless car that ran over a pedestrian: Worst robotic accidents in history - after chess robot breaks seven-year-old boy's finger in Russia

  • Shocking footage emerged of a chess-playing robot breaking a child's finger during a chess match in Russia
  • A spokesperson from Russian Chess Federation said the boy violated 'safety rules' by making a move too soon
  • But other incidents involving robots and humans in the past have had more tragic outcomes
  • MailOnline delves into the worst robotic accidents in history including a robo-surgeon that killed its patient
  • WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT

Shocking footage emerged at the weekend of a chess-playing robot breaking a child's finger during a match in Russia.

The robot grabbed the seven-year-old boy's finger at the Moscow Open last week because it was confused by his overly-quick movements, Russian media outlets reported.

Sergey Lazarev, vice-president of the Russian Chess Federation, said the child had violated 'certain safety rules' by making a move too soon.

Lazarev said that the machine had been hired for many previous events without any problems, and that the incident was an 'extremely rare case'.

Christopher Atkeson, a robotics expert at Carnegie Mellon University, told MailOnline: 'Robots have limited sensing and thus limited awareness of what is going on around them.

'I suspect the chess robot did not have ears, and that its vision system was blind to anything other than chess boards and pieces.'

Although the young chess player only suffered a broken finger, in other accidents involving robots the injured party has not always been as lucky.

MailOnline has taken a look at some of the disastrous robotic failures, from the robo-surgeon that killed its patient to the driverless car that hit a pedestrian.

CHINESE WORKER SKEWERED - WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT

One of the most gruesome robo-accidents involved a 49-year-old Chinese factory worker, known as Zhou, back in December 2018.

Zhou was hit by a rogue robot that collapsed suddenly, impaling him with 10 sharp steel rods in the arm and chest, each one foot long.

The spikes, which were part of the robotic arm, speared through the worker's body when the robot collapsed during a night shift.

Four of them were stuck in his right arm, one in his right shoulder, one in his chest and four in his right forearm, reported People's Daily Online at the time.

Miraculously, Zhou survived after surgeons removed the rods from his body and was in stable condition, according to the Xiangya Hospital in Changsha.

SELF-DRIVING FATALITY

In March 2018, Elaine Herzberg was fatally struck by a prototype self-driving car from ridesharing firm Uber.

Herzberg, 49, was pushing a bicycle across a four-lane road in Tempe, Arizona, when she was struck by the vehicle, which was operating in self-drive mode with a human safety backup driver sitting in the driving seat.

The Uber engineer in the vehicle, Rafaela Vasquez, was watching videos on her phone, according to reports at the time.

Herzberg was taken to the local hospital where she died of her injuries – marking the first recorded case of a pedestrian fatality involving a self-driving car.

Vasquez was later charged with negligent homicide, while Uber was found not criminally responsible for the accident.

The ridesharing giant had been testing self-driving vehicles in four North American cities – Tempe, San Francisco, Pittsburgh and Toronto – but these tests were suspended following the accident.

In 2020, Uber sold off its self-driving car division, spelling an end to its attempts to develop autonomous driving systems.

BOTCHED ROBO-SURGERY

In February 2015, father-of-three and retired music teacher Stephen Pettitt underwent robotic surgery for Mitral valve disease at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The operation was conducted by surgeon Sukumaran Nair using the Da Vinci surgical robot, which consists of a surgeon's console and interactive robotic arms controlled from the console.

Details of the botched six-hour procedure include the surgical team, Mr Nair and assisting surgeon Thasee Pillay, shouting at one another.

Communication was difficult because of the 'tinny' sound quality coming from the robot console being operated by Nair, it was revealed.

The machine also knocked a theatre nurse and destroyed the patient's stitches, Newcastle Coroner's Court later heard.

Mr Nair, who trained in India and London and previously worked at Papworth Hospital in Cambridgeshire, said he now works in Scotland and no longer does robotic surgery.

Sadly, Mr Pettitt had a 98 to 99 per cent chance of living had the operation not been carried out using a robot.

VW WORKER CRUSHED

In June 2015, a 22-year-old man was killed by a robotic arm at a Volkswagen plant in Baunatal, Germany.

The robotic arm intended to lift machine parts but reportedly grabbed him and crushed him against a large metal plate.

The man suffered severe injuries to his chest in the incident and resuscitated at the scene, but died from his injuries in hospital.

A Volkswagen spokesman said initial conclusions indicated human error was to blame rather than a malfunction with the robot, which can be programmed to perform various tasks in the assembly process.

JAPAN'S FIRST ROBO-CASUALTY

In July 1981, Japanese maintenance worker Kenji Urada died while checking a malfunctioning hydraulic robot at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries plant in Akashi.

Urada, 37, had jumped over a safety barrier that was designed to shut down power to the machine when open, but he reportedly started the robot accidentally.

He was pinned by the robot's arm against another machine before tragically being crushed to death.

Other workers in the factory were unable to stop the machine as they didn't know how to operate it.

Urada was the first human killed by a robot in Japan – but not the first in the world.

THE FIRST ROBOT DEATH

The first person to be killed by a robot was Robert Williams, an American factory worker, in Flat Rock, Michigan back in January 1979.

Williams, 25, was killed instantly when he was struck in the head by an industrial robot arm designed to retrieve objects from storage shelves.

His body remained in the shelf for 30 minutes until it was discovered by workers who were concerned about his disappearance, according to reports.

His family successfully sued the manufacturers of the robot, Litton Industries, and were awarded $10 million in damages.

Wayne County Circuit Court concluded that there were not enough safety measures in place to prevent such an accident from happening.

SELF-DRIVING TESLA SLAMS INTO TRACTOR

A former Navy SEAL became the first person to die at the wheel of a self-driving car after it ploughed into a tractor trailer on a freeway in Williston, Florida, in May 2016.

Joshua Brown, 40, was riding in his computer-guided Tesla Model S on autopilot mode when it travelled underneath the low-hanging trailer crossing his path on US Highway 27A, shearing off the car's roof completely.

By the time firefighters arrived, the wreckage of the Tesla had come to rest in a nearby yard hundreds of feet from the crash site, assistant chief Danny Wallace of the Williston Fire Department said.

Tesla said its autopilot system failed to detect the truck because its white colour was similar to that of the bright sky, adding that the driver also made no attempt to hit the brakes.

Elon Musk's company confirmed the man's 'tragic' death, but defended its vehicles, saying they were safer than other cars.

CRUSHED BY A ROBOT ARM

On July 7 2015, a grandmother was crushed to death when she became trapped by a piece of machinery that should not have entered into the area in which she was working.

Wanda Holbrook was 57 at the time of the incident, and had been working at car manufacturing facility Ventra Ionia Main in Michigan, USA for 12 years.

She was working on the production line when a robotic arm took her by surprise by entering the section in which she was stationed.

The arm hit and crushed her head against a trailer hitch assembly it was working on, a wrongful death lawsuit states.

According to The Callahan Law Firm, widower Bill Holbrook said his wife's head injuries were so severe that the funeral home recommended a closed casket.

STABBED BY WELDING ROBOT

The first person killed by a robot in India is thought to be 24-year-old Ramji Lal, who was stabbed to death by a robotic welding machine, also in July 2015.

Lal was reportedly adjusting a metal sheet at car parts manufacturer SKH Metals in Manesar, Gurgaon that was being welded by the machine when he was stabbed by one of its arms.

A colleague told the Times of India: 'The robot is pre-programmed to weld metal sheets it lifts.

'One such sheet got dislodged and Lal reached from behind the machine to adjust it.

'This was when welding sticks attached to the pre-programmed device pierced Lal's abdomen.'

AMAZON ROBOT PUNCTURES BEAR REPELLENT CAN

In 2018, a robot accidentally punctured a can of bear repellent at an Amazon warehouse in New Jersey, hospitalising 24 workers.

The nine-ounce aerosol can contained concentrated capsaicin - the active component found in chilli peppers that makes your mouth feel hot.

Many of the workers experienced trouble breathing and said their throats and eyes burned as a result of the fumes from the pepper spray.

One worker from the Robbinsville-based warehouse was in critical condition and was sent to the ICU at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, while another 30 were treated at the scene.

Stuart Appelbaum, president of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, issued a statement after the incident saying: 'Amazon's automated robots put humans in life-threatening danger today, the effects of which could be catastrophic and the long-term effects for 80+ workers are unknown,

'The richest company in the world cannot continue to be let off the hook for putting hard working people's lives at risk.'

Josh Bongard, a robotics professor at the University of Vermont, told MailOnline: 'Robots are kind of the opposite of people. They're good at things we’re bad at, and vice versa.

'The good news in all this is that robots will likely kill many fewer people, than people do. Especially here in the US.'

Professor Bongard also said it's 'really, really hard' to train robots to avoid such accidents.

'Our best hope at the moment for deploying safe robots is to put them in places where there are few people, like autonomous cars restricted to special lanes on highways.'

WHY ARE PEOPLE SO WORRIED ABOUT ROBOTS AND AI?

It is an issue troubling some of the greatest minds in the world at the moment, from Bill Gates to Elon Musk.

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk described AI as our 'biggest existential threat' and likened its development as 'summoning the demon'.

He believes super intelligent machines could use humans as pets.

Professor Stephen Hawking said it is a 'near certainty' that a major technological disaster will threaten humanity in the next 1,000 to 10,000 years.

They could steal jobs

More than 60 percent of people fear that robots will lead to there being fewer jobs in the next ten years, according to a 2016 YouGov survey.

And 27 percent predict that it will decrease the number of jobs 'a lot' with previous research suggesting admin and service sector workers will be the hardest hit.

As well as posing a threat to our jobs, other experts believe AI could 'go rogue' and become too complex for scientists to understand.

A quarter of the respondents predicted robots will become part of everyday life in just 11 to 20 years, with 18 percent predicting this will happen within the next decade.

They could 'go rogue'

Computer scientist Professor Michael Wooldridge said AI machines could become so intricate that engineers don't fully understand how they work.

If experts don't understand how AI algorithms function, they won't be able to predict when they fail.

This means driverless cars or intelligent robots could make unpredictable 'out of character' decisions during critical moments, which could put people in danger.

For instance, the AI behind a driverless car could choose to swerve into pedestrians or crash into barriers instead of deciding to drive sensibly.

They could wipe out humanity

Some people believe AI will wipe out humans completely.

'Eventually, I think human extinction will probably occur, and technology will likely play a part in this,' DeepMind's Shane Legg said in a recent interview.

He singled out artificial intelligence, or AI, as the 'number one risk for this century'.

Musk warned that AI poses more of a threat to humanity than North Korea.

'If you're not concerned about AI safety, you should be. Vastly more risk than North Korea,' the 46-year-old wrote on Twitter.

'Nobody likes being regulated, but everything (cars, planes, food, drugs, etc) that's a danger to the public is regulated. AI should be too.'

Musk has consistently advocated for governments and private institutions to apply regulations on AI technology.

He has argued that controls are necessary in order protect machines from advancing out of human control.

When chess robots go bad: AI player grabs a seven-year-old boy and BREAKS his finger during tournament in Russia

A chess-playing robot broke a child's finger during a tournament in Russia last week, with the incident being captured in CCTV footage.

The robot grabbed the seven-year-old boy's finger because it was confused by his overly-quick movements, Russian media outlets reported, quoting the President of the Moscow Chess Federation - who seemingly blamed the child.

'The robot broke the child's finger - this, of course, is bad,' Sergey Lazarev told Russia's TASS news agency, while distancing his organisation from the robot.

The incident occurred at the Moscow Open on July 19. Lazarev said that the federation had rented the robot for the event, which ran from July 13 to 21.

Lazarev said that the machine had been hired for many previous events without incident, saying the boy went to move a piece too quickly after making a move.

'The robot was rented by us, it has been exhibited in many places, for a long time, with specialists. Apparently, the operators overlooked it,' Lazarev said.

'The child made a move, and after that we need to give time for the robot to answer, but the boy hurried , the robot grabbed him. We have nothing to do with the robot.'

Video of the incident was published by the Baza Telegram channel, who said the boy's name was Christopher. Baza said he was among the 30 best chess players in Moscow in the under-nine age group category.

According to The Guardian, Sergey Smagin, vice-president of the Russian Chess Federation, went even further in blaming the boy.

'There are certain safety rules and the child, apparently, violated them. When he made his move, he did not realise he first had to wait,' The Guardian quoted Smagin as saying. 'This is an extremely rare case, the first I can recall.'

The footage shows the robot - which consists of a single mechanical arm with multiple joints and a 'hand' - was in the middle of a table and surrounded by three different chess boards. It's AI can reportedly play three matches at the same time.

Captured by a camera over the boy's shoulder, the video starts by showing the robot as it picks up a piece from the board and drops it into a box to the side - used to contain the discarded pieces from the game.

As it does so, the young boy reaches to make his next move. However, the robot appears to mistake the boy's finger for a chess piece, and grabs that instead.

Upon grabbing the boy's finger, the mechanical arms freezes in place, trapping the boy who begins to panic. Several people standing around the table rush in to help him, and after a few seconds are able to free him from the robot's grip

Lazarev said in his statement that the boy was able to return to the tournament the following day in a case, and finished the tournament.

However, he told TASS that the boy's parents had contacted the public prosecutor's office about the incident, and that his organisation had been contacted by Moskomsport - the Department of Sport for the Russian capital.

He offered to help the family 'in any way we can,' and warned that the operators of the robot were going to have to 'think about strengthening protection so that this situation does not happen again.'

Smagin told RIA Novosti that the incident was a 'concidence' and said the robot is 'absolutely safe,' The Guardian reported.

'It has performed at many opens. Apparently, children need to be warned. It happens,' Smagin said - calling the robot 'unique'.

Roswell conspiracies still thriving after 75 years from Nazi UFOs to burned alien bodies

Decades after the 1947 incident some believe it was proof that aliens landed on Earth, while others insist the bizarre wreckage was that of a Nazi-built spaceship

Theories are still circulating 75 years after the most famous UFO "sighting" of all time, some involving Nazis and crashed aliens.

The 'Roswell incident' in 1947 occurred in Roswell, New Mexico when local ‘Mac’ Brazel found some strange wreckage and debris complete with tin foil, rubber and wooden sticks.

Surprisingly, the US Army got involved and sent out a press release saying they had recovered a "flying disc".

The Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) said: "The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff's office of Chaves County."

Fort Worth Army Air Field 8th July 1947: Jesse Marcel, head intelligence officer, who initially investigated and recovered some of the debris from the Roswell UFO site poses with debris. In mid-1947, a United States Air Force balloon crashed at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. Following wide initial interest in the crashed 'flying disc', the US military stated that it was merely a conventional weather balloon

RAAF quickly changed their story to state that the wreckage was from a weather balloon.

UFO enthusiasts have been sceptical of the official government account ever since and some believe the wreckage belonged to a UFO that was downed by lightning. Of course, it was no surprise the aliens were in the local area, say the conspiracy theorists, due to ET's reasonable concerns about US nuclear activity.

Other members of the tin foil brigade believe the UFO was firmly of Nazi origin, built by the German scientists shipped to the US to work on the atomic bomb. According to the theorists, the UFO built by the Roswell Nazis was not great for flying and promptly crashed.

Local news didn't exactly help with calming speculation as the Roswell Daily Record reported "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region".

In an effort to push away the conspiracies, it was revealed in 1994 that the wreckage was part of 'Project Mogul', an attempt to detect Soviet nuclear bomb tests. Those convinced of a government cover-up are unlikely to buy this version of events.

In 1980, reports of 'alien bodies' emerged and were not debunked until a US Air Force report in 1997 titled 'The Roswell Report: Case Closed'. They said the bodies were likely to be parachute dummies, an injured airman or charred bodies from a plane crash.

The wreckage was found on Brazel's property around 75 miles north of Roswell, but it is the city itself that now owes a large portion of its local income to alien-friendly tourists.

It is now home to a yearly UFO festival and the International UFO Museum and Research Centre.

“I’ve Yet To Find One That Had Aliens,” Says NORAD Boss About UAP

“I’ve Yet To Find One That Had Aliens,” Says NORAD Boss About UAP

NORAD boss says nothing’s changed operationally due to UAPs as the DoD rebrands its office for them and tasks it with a bigger mission.

“I’ve Yet To Find One That Had Aliens,” Says NORAD Boss About UAP
DOD

Though the Pentagon has changed the name and scope of the new organization tasked with overseeing U.S. government's growing efforts to track unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), the head of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), who is actually the guy in charge of defending America's airspace, says it has been business as usual when it comes to his command's mission.

"I have not changed or been asked to change any of my posture, taskings or anything," Air Force Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, the dual-hatted commander of both NORAD and U.S. Northern Command (NORAD), told reporters Thursday during a roundtable discussion at the Aspen Security Forum.

Asked by Washington Post reporter Shane Harris about whether there have been any changes "in terms of homeland protection" as a result of more attention being paid to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) - as the Pentagon now refers to what was known as unidentified flying objects (UFO) - VanHerck said "no." The answer may seem disconnected considering the efforts the Pentagon claims are being made to take the issue seriously and to mitigate any potential risks to national security presented by UAP. Then again, the Air Force has been notoriously unforthcoming when it comes to this controversial topic.

VanHerck goes a step further, stating "First of all, let's be clear. My job as the NORAD commander is to identify every single UAP or ...whatever it is," VanHerck said. "What I would report to you is I've yet to find one that had aliens or was a spaceship that we've identified."

"If any of our NORAD fighters or, or any assets assigned to NORTHCOM, came across some type of UAP, we would absolutely report that," he said. "I'm just telling you, we haven't seen that."

VanHerck was questioned on the issue after the Pentagon this week changed the name of its organization tasked with tracking UAPs from the unwieldy Airborne Object Identification and Management Group (AOIMSG) to the more streamlined All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

More than just an update in nomenclature, the move reflects a long-known reality. Airborne objects aren’t the only ones that are unidentified, but more importantly, potentially pose a threat to U.S. military installations and personnel.

In its announcement on Wednesday, the Pentagon noted that Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), “amended her original direction to the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security” by renaming and expanding the scope of AOIMSG.

That was because the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2022, which included a provision to establish such an office - in coordination with DNI - was tasked with responsibilities that were broader than those originally assigned to the AOIMSG.

Essentially, that legislation calls for a much larger-scope effort to examine these phenomena than what Hicks initially called for in her memo last November.

Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough told The War Zone Thursday that "the genesis of the establishment of AOIMSG came from internal DoD processes subsequent to assisting [the Office of the Director of National Intelligence] with the preparation of its assessment report on UAP."

As mandated by a provision in the 2021 Intelligence Authorization Act, DNI - in consultation with the Defense Department (DOD) - submitted a report to Congress on UAP last June. That same day, Hicks sent out a memo to DoD leaders on the state of UAP assessments.  In that memo, she directed the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSD(I&S)) "to develop a plan to formalize the mission that was then being performed by the UAP Task Force."

Hicks' November 2021 memo directing the establishment of the AOIMSG and AOIMEXEC "was a direct result of that planning effort," Gough said.

While much of the initial attention in recent years has been paid to aerial objects of unknown origin, what the Pentagon now refers to as UAP, mysterious underwater objects or anomalies have been tracked by submariners, as we explained three years ago. The UFO topic, as it exists culturally, has long been intertwined with sightings of so-called USOs — unidentified submerged objects. Claims of sightings of objects that can traverse air and water continue to this day and are a major component of 'ufology.'

AARO’s mission will be to “synchronize efforts” across the Defense Department (DOD), and other U.S. federal departments and agencies, “to detect, identify and attribute objects of interest in, on or near military installations, operating areas, training areas, special use airspace and other areas of interest, and, as necessary, to mitigate any associated threats to safety of operations and national security. This includes anomalous, unidentified space, airborne, submerged and transmedium objects.”

The issue of the U.S. military tracking transmedium objects is not new. It was included in the 2022 NDAA, which defines transmedium objects as “objects or devices that are observed to transition between space and the atmosphere, or between the atmosphere and bodies of water, that are not immediately identifiable.”

The new organization will be led by what the Pentagon now calls the AARO Executive Council, or (AAROEXEC).

The AARO Executive Council (AAROEXEC), led by Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (USD(I&S)) Ronald Moultrie, will provide "oversight and direction" to the AARO along these primary lines of effort:

    1. Surveillance, Collection and Reporting
    2. System Capabilities and Design
    3. Intelligence Operations and Analysis
    4. Mitigation and Defeat
    5. Governance
    6. Science and Technology

According to the latest Hicks memo on the subject, dated July 15, AARO “will serve as the authoritative office of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and UAP-related activities for the DoD.”

It will be DOD’s “focal point for all UAP and UAP-related activities” and may represent it to other federal agencies, Congress, the media, and the public, in coordination with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs and Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.

AARO will be directly managed by Sean Kirkpatrick, whose most recent assignment was as Chief Scientist at DIA’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center.

Sean Kirkpatrick.  DoD Photo

“Known as Dr. K to his staff and team, he brings over two decades of experience and a significant depth of expertise in scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI), S&TI and space policy, research and development, acquisitions, and operations, specializing in space/counterspace mission areas,” according to his official bio.

The issue of unidentified phenomena, whatever medium they exist in, has taken on greater public interest in recent years. In May of this year, Congress held its first UFO hearing in over 50 years. Earlier this month, we told you about an effort by Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc) to give greater protections to those who have information about such things.

His proposed amendment to the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act was created to "establish a process within the government for reporting UAPs and provide whistleblower-like protections,” Gallagher’s spokesman Jordan Dunn told The War Zone at the time.

The bipartisan amendment to the Fiscal Year 2023 NDAA passed by voice vote without debate last week, Politico reported.

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) has also taken a recent interest in this issue.

In its Intelligence Authorization Act (IAA) approved Wednesday, HPCSI required GAO historical study of IC [intelligence community] UAP activity, including a clause not seen in the Senate version: "efforts to recover or transfer related technologies to United States-based industry or National Laboratories."

In addition, the IAA also includes provisions introduced by Gallagher "including...a GAO review of US government records relating to the intelligence community's involvement with [UAP], including any efforts to track, identify, recover, transfer, or obfuscate [UAP]."

So yes, we are talking about investigating the military contractors for hiding parts of crashed craft and investigating the intelligence community for hiding major revelations about UFOs.

This is clearly uncharted territory.

Now that the Pentagon has given a new name to the office that will be its focal point for all UAP-related phenomena, wherever it is observed, it will be interesting to see what, if anything, AARO actually does.

A FOIA request revealed internal NASA emails about UAPs/UFOs, including an invite to an event called, "Extreme Acceleration by UAPs”
IMAGE: U.S. NAVY

A trove of newly released NASA documents about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) reveals some of the agency’s internal discussions about these mysterious sightings, according to the Black Vault, which obtained the materials via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and published them on Tuesday.

The documents showed that a meeting about a UAP—which are also sometimes referred to as unidentified flying objects (UFOs)—was put on NASA administrator Bill Nelson’s calendar in March. An email sent in May 2021, and marked “Internal Distribution Only,” provided guidelines for responding to interview questions on a range of topics associated with space research, including a subsection entitled, “Search for Life, Technosignatures, and UAP/UFOs.”

“Public and media interest in the topic of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon/Unidentified Flying Objects (UAP/UFOs) has seen an uptick in recent weeks following reports about the Department of Defense’s release of three unclassified Navy videos,” the NASA guidelines said. “Likewise, the 2021 Intelligence Authorization Act, signed in December 2020, stipulated the government had 180 days to gather and analyze data from disparate agencies.”

“Below is our response to the public and media who call for NASA comment,” the materials continued. “One of NASA’s key goals is the search for life in the universe. To date, NASA has yet to find any credible evidence of extraterrestrial life, however, NASA is exploring the solar system and beyond to help us answer fundamental questions, including whether we are alone in the universe. We stand ready to support the rest of the government in the search for life in the universe, be it close to home, on the planets or moons of our solar system, or deeper into space.”

The new FOIA drop also contains an invite to a virtual event entitled “Extreme Acceleration by UAPs,” scheduled for October 6, 2020, that was forwarded between NASA employees. The invite said the presentation would be delivered by Robert Powell, Executive Board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU), with an introduction from Chris Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

“During our session, Robert will be discussing ‘Extreme Acceleration by UAPs and Sensors for Detection,’” according to the invite. “He will also be exploring a few relevant cases, including Stephenville and Puerto Rico. Robert has been an important leader, for some years now, among those seeking to bring serious scientific expertise and processes to bear on the UAP phenomenon.”

Though it’s intriguing to read through these documents, it’s not surprising that NASA discusses UAPs internally, given that the agency has also held public briefings on these unexplained observations on many occasions. Last month, for instance, NASA officials held a teleconference on new work that aims to “examine UAPs—observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena—from a scientific perspective,” according to a statement.

“Unidentified phenomena in the atmosphere are of interest for both national security and air safety. Establishing which events are natural provides a key first step to identifying or mitigating such phenomena, which aligns with one of NASA’s goals to ensure the safety of aircraft,” the statement read. “There is no evidence UAPs are extraterrestrial in origin.”

Nasa may use satellites in hunt for aliens after surge in UFO sightings

Nasa may use satellites in hunt for aliens after surge in UFO sightings

Nasa deputy administrator Col Pam Melroy

Nasa deputy administrator Col Pam Melroy

The US space agency Nasa is looking into repurposing satellites that are already in space to hunt for aliens. Last month, Nasa announced it was launching an eight-month inquiry to investigate hundreds of unexplained UFO sightings.

The inquiry is being led by Dr Thomas Zurbuchen, of Nasa’s Science Mission Directorate, who has now begun investigating whether satellites in orbit could be repurposed to give another view on strange aerial phenomena reported from Earth.

Speaking to journalists in London last week, Col Pam Melroy, deputy administrator of Nasa, said: “One of the big questions Thomas asked is, ‘We have a ton of satellites looking down at the Earth; are any of them useful?’

“Before you build a rover that’s going to Mars, you ask yourself, ‘What’s the sensor I have to build to detect the most interesting thing?’ How would you get the evidence that you need to be able to determine if it’s an optical phenomena or some other kind (of phenomena)?”

Bill Nelson, Nasa’s administrator, told reporters that he had read all the classified documents relating to UFOs and was convinced that nobody knew what they were.

Asked why Nasa was embarking on such a fringe subject, Nelson said one of the agency’s remits was to hunt for life outside Earth. He pointed out that in the past, even the greatest scientists had been disbelieved or ridiculed, including Galileo — condemned in the 17th century for saying the Earth revolved around the Sun— and Edwin Hubble, who in the 1920s proved many objects thought to be clouds of dust and gas were galaxies.

“One of our missions is to reach out to see if there is life — that’s why we are digging on Mars right now,” he said. “Is there the possibility of life in something as big as the Universe? Of course there is the chance that, in somewhere as big as that, conditions similar to Earth existed, and some other kind of life form developed.

“Look at what Galileo had to face... and 100 years ago we still only thought there was one galaxy, and then Hubble came along and suddenly said, ‘No there are a bunch of galaxies out there’.”

Last June, the Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAP) released a report into 144 UFO incidents between 2004 and 2021, many of which were spotted by military pilots. Even though investigators concluded there was no evidence that the objects came from outer space or a foreign adversary, they said most could not be explained.

The report authors said there was no doubt that the UAPs were physical objects, rather than optical illusions caused by atmospheric conditions or sensor malfunctions.

“I went to our chief scientist and said... we’re the scientific research agency and one of our missions is to look for life... there’s this phenomenon going on, so we should approach it from a scientific point of view,” said Mr Nelson.

Last year, US Navy pilot Lt Cmdr Alex Dietrich revealed she had seen multiple UFOs while she was stationed off the coast of southern California on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier in 2004. They moved impossibly fast, she said, dropping a distance of 80,000ft in less than a second and jumping dozens of miles in seconds, in an incident caught on infrared camera and radar.

According to reports, Cmdr David Fravor, also stationed on the USS Nimitz, engaged one of the oblong objects, which disappeared, only to be picked up seconds later on ship radar 60 miles away.

Mr Nelson said he hoped the objects did not belong to an adversary as “they’ve got some real advanced technology”.

Dozens of UFO encounters by pilots officially released – including 'cigar-shaped' object

Dozens of UFO encounters by pilots officially released – including 'cigar-shaped' object

A file covering 14 years' worth of UFO sightings made by commercial airline pilots was obtained by UFO researcher Kyle Warfel using a Freedom of Information request

By Michael Moran - Audience Writer

Dozens of astonishing UFO sightings witnessed by pilots and classified as "near misses" have been released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The detailed list of reports covers UFO or so-called Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) sightings from January 1, 2008 to the present.

The list, published on the Black Vault site, covers more than 60 “near miss” encounters with unexplained objects recorded by trained pilots in just 14 years.

One, reported in July 2020, was a “very large, Frisbee or cigar shaped object that had no tail or ailerons moving very fast and low level”.

The mystery object was “a silver, white colour, almost transparent and it made no sound”.

Another unexplained “star-like” object was observed by an airline pilot to rapidly change altitudes before suddenly going into a hover.

Not all pilots choose to report potential UFO sighting, for fear of harming their reputations. After a mysterious “line of lights” in the sky was sighted by multiple witnesses in Arizona in 2013, a pilot contacted by radar operators confirmed that he could see the objects but declined to make a report to the UFO hotline.

In some cases the mystery objects appear to chase the airliners.

Researcher Kyle Warfel, whose FOIA request led to the release of the sightings, said: “There are hundreds of thousands of UAP sightings every year around the globe and hundreds of thousands more that go unreported.

“The recent publication of the UAPTF Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena shows that this issue is real and can not be ignored.”

He’s convinced that the US government knows exactly what these objects are, but for some reason has chosen to keep that information secret.

“We have the ability to see license plates from orbit and yet we don’t have enough data to make a conclusion on what these things are?” He asked. “Bottom line, we cannot be trusted with the truth.”

The Norse God Odin: Viking God of War, Father of Thor, But There’s More

The Norse God Odin: Viking God of War, Father of Thor, But There’s More

The Norse God Odin: Viking God of War, Father of Thor, But There’s More

Odin is the chief deity of the Norse pantheon. Although Odin was worshipped more generally in Germanic paganism, the information we have today about this god is derived mostly from Norse mythology. These pieces of information include both written sources, such as myths, and archaeological finds, that combined paint a complex picture of this Norse (Viking) god. Consequently, it is difficult to figure out Odin’s exact role and character. Nevertheless, in general, Odin is viewed as a wise deity, in addition to his role as the Norse god of war. Apart from that, he was also associated with death, poetry, magic, and prophecy. As the primary god of the Norse pantheon, Odin plays an important role in many myths. And he was also the father of the mighty Thor, who is so loved in modern popular culture for his strength.

The Norse God Odin Was Also a Primary Germanic Deity

The name Odin is said to be derived from Proto-Germanic “Wodanaz,” which may be translated variously to mean “the fury,” “the furious,” “the inspired,” and “the inspiring.” One of the earliest textual references to the god Odin is found in  Germania, written by the  Roman historian Tacitus  in the 1st century AD. In his work, Tacitus wrote that the “Of all the gods,  Mercury is he whom they worship most. To him on certain stated days it is lawful to offer even human victims.” It has been pointed out that since Mercury’s day was identified as Wednesday, or “Woden’s day,” Tacitus was referring to Odin when he mentioned that the ancient Germans worshipped Mercury

Tacitus’ statement, however, must be taken with a pinch of salt. Whilst Odin was certainly a major deity amongst the  ancient Germans , there is insufficient evidence to show that his cult was primary to all the Germanic tribes. In other words, Tacitus may have been making a sweeping generalization about the religious beliefs of the people he was writing about. Additionally, it has been suggested that whilst the elites may have venerated Odin, he may have been less popular amongst the common people compared to his son,  Thor.

Odin: The Viking Creator God And His Many Children

One of Odin’s many epithets was “All-father.” Apart from the belief that he fathered many gods with various women (more about which in a moment), Odin was also regarded as a creator god. According to one myth, in the beginning, there was a vast emptiness called Ginnungagap. From this nothingness, two realms, Niflheim and Muspelheim, emerged. Niflheim was located to the north of Ginnungagap, and was an extremely cold place, with nothing but ice, frost, and fog. Muspelheim, by contrast, formed in the south of Ginnungagap, and was a hot place, with only fire, lava, and smoke.

In spite of these harsh conditions, life appeared. In Niflheim was a spring called Hvergelmir, which the Norse believed was the source of all the cold rivers. There were 11 cold rivers, collectively known as Elivagar. The water from these rivers flowed from the mountains to the plain of Ginnungagap, where it froze, forming a solid layer of ice. As time went by, the ice layer expanded. At the same time, lava was flowing from Muspelheim onto the plain of Ginnungagap. Eventually, the two met in the middle of Ginnungagap.

The meeting of the hot and cold elements resulted in the melting of the ice. The melted ice began to drip, and a human-like creature began to form in the ice. This was Ymir, the first  jotunn, or giant, in Norse mythology.

When Ymir slept, he began to sweat, and from these bodily fluids, two more giants, one male, and the other female, were born. Additionally, a third giant, another son called Thrudgelmir (meaning “Strength Yeller”) was born when one of Ymir’s legs paired with the other. The children of Ymir were the first of the frost giants, and were breastfed by Audhumbla, a giant cow, who, like Ymir, was created from the melting of the ice in Ginnungagap.

Audhumbla nourished herself by licking a block of salty ice. It was from this action that the first Norse god came into being. On the first day that the giant cow licked the block of salty ice, some human hair appeared. On the second day, a head emerged, and on the third, the rest of the body was freed. This was Buri, the first of the gods. Buri, through some unknown process, fathered a son, Borr, who later took Bestla (believed to be a jotunn) as his wife. Borr and Bestla were the parents of Odin, Vili, and Ve, the first of the Aesirs, one of the two main groups of gods in Norse mythology.

The three brothers noticed that the  Aesirs were outnumbered by the jotnar, who were producing new giants at a rapid pace. They reasoned that the only way to solve this problem was to kill Ymir. Therefore, Odin and his brothers waited for the giant to fall asleep, before attacking him. Ymir, however, woke up, and a terrible fight ensued. In the end, Ymir was slain. So much blood flowed from the jotunn’s corpse that most of his offspring were drowned in it. Only two giants managed to escape. Using Ymir’s remains, Odin and his brothers created the world.

Thor.jpg

Odin Was the Father of Many Including the Great God Thor

The Norse also believed that Odin and his brothers created the first human beings, though this appears to be unconnected to the creation myth. According to this story, Odin and his brothers were walking along a beach when they came across two logs, one from an ash, and the other from  an elm .

The gods decided to create humans out of the logs. Therefore, Odin gave the logs spirit and life, Ve gave them movement, mind, and intelligence, whilst Vili gave them shape, speech, feelings, and the five senses. The first man was called Ask, and the first woman Embla. The pair were placed by the gods in Midgard.

Odin was also the father of many of the other Norse gods. Odin’s wife was the  goddess Frigg , with whom he had two sons, Baldur and Hod, who were direct opposites of each other. For instance, whilst Baldur represented light, Hod represented darkness (he is even depicted as being blind).

Odin also had sons with other women, many of whom were jotnar. For example, one of the best-known Norse gods, Thor, was the son of Odin and a jotunn named Jord. Another jotunn, Gridr, had a son, Vidarr, with Odin. According to prophecy, Vidarr, the god of vengeance, would avenge his father’s death during the Ragnarok. Another of Odin’s sons, Vali, was the offspring of the jotunn Rindr, and was destined to avenge the death of Baldur.

Odin: The Norse God of War and His Palatial Valhalla Palace

In addition to his role as a creator god, Odin was worshipped as the Norse god of war. For instance, he was seen as a protector of Viking warriors. Additionally, the Norse thought that Odin never lost a battle, with some even believing that it was impossible for the god to lose a battle.

Most importantly, the Norse believed that those who died honorably in combat had the chance of entering  Valhalla(meaning “Hall of the Slain”), Odin’s palatial home. The slain warriors are recruited by Odin’s daughters, the Valkyries (literally meaning “dead choosers”), and lived in Valhalla, where they would feast daily, and prepare for the final Ragnarok battle. On the day of the final battle these warriors, known as the einherjar, would fight alongside Odin and the rest of the Norse gods against their enemies.

Even though Odin was a warrior god, he did not win his battles with mere brute force and power. Indeed, the Norse also considered Odin to be a full of wisdom. Odin’s wisdom is most famously represented by his depiction as a one-eyed man. According to Norse mythology, the wisest god amongst the Aesir was  Mimir, whose origin is not entirely clear. This god was renowned for his knowledge and prophetic wisdom.

In one myth, Mimir is depicted as the caretaker of the Well of Knowledge (known also as Mimir’s Well). Odin, in his quest for knowledge, journeys to this well, so that he could drink from it. Although Odin was allowed to drink from the well, he had to sacrifice one of his eyes for the privilege.

The Well of Knowledge is believed to be located in Jotunheim, the land of the giants, which suggests that Mimir was a jotunn. In another myth, however, Mimir is depicted as an Aesir. In this myth, the Aesir were at war with the Vanir, the other major group of Norse gods. In the end, the Aesir and Vanir made peace, and exchanged hostages.

On the one hand, the Vanir sent some of their most prized members, such as Njord, Freyr, and Freyja, to the Aesir. On the other hand, Aesir sent Mimir and Hoenir to the Vanir.

Whilst Mimir was a powerful god, Hoenir is said to have been a weak and indecisive deity. When the Vanir discovered this, they took it as an insult, and executed Mimir in retaliation. The god’s severed head was sent to Odin, who magically reanimated it.

Mimir’s head, therefore, became a source of knowledge, and Odin relied on its counsel when he needed to make important decisions.

In this vintage illustration Odin is seated on his throne with his magical messengers: two ravens and two wolves.

The Source of Odin’s Knowledge and Wisdom: Ravens and Wolves

Mimir was not the only source of knowledge that Odin had access to. The Norse believe that the god kept a pair of ravens,  Huginn and Muninn  (whose names literally mean “Thought” and “Memory”). Each morning, the birds would travel across the Nine Worlds to observe all that was going on. At night, Huginn and Muninn would return to Odin, and report to him all they had seen. It was through these ravens that Odin learned about everything that went on in each realm.

Apart from the ravens, Odin also kept a pair of wolves, Grei and Freki (meaning “Ravenous,” and “Greedy One”). The pair were supposedly created when Odin felt lonely. In his role as a warrior god, the wolves were perfect companions for Odin, as they would scour the battlefield, and feast on those who died in battle. Additionally, Odin’s mount was an eight-legged horse named Sleipnir (meaning “Slipper”).

In the epic and final Ragnarok battle, Odin dies in the jaws of the wolf Fenrir.

Ragnarok: The Death of Odin in Fenrir’s Killer Wolf Jaws

Although Odin was an immensely powerful god, he too would perish one day, at the Ragnarok (meaning “Fate of the Gods”). The Norse believed that this would be the final battle at the end of the current cosmic order. The events of Ragnarok, including Odin’s own death, are said to have been prophesied by the god himself, but even he is powerless to prevent it from happening.

According to Norse mythology, Ragnarok will be preceded by a series of portents, including the birth of three monsters to Loki and Angrboda, his giantess wife, the death of Baldur, terrible winters, and the subversion of the cosmic order.

As Ragnarok approaches, the various combatants would converge on Vigrid (meaning ‘Field of Battle’), where the final battle would be fought. The gods, both Aesir and Vanir, and their followers would do battle with the forces of Loki and the jotnar. The gods would be led by Odin, wearing a gold helmet and hauberk, and armed Gungnir, his magical spear. At Ragnarok, Odin’s chief adversary was to be the Fenrir, the great wolf, and one of Loki’s offspring.

Odin foresaw that he would fight valiantly against the monstrous wolf but would, in the end, be devoured by it. Odin’s death, however, would be avenged by his son, Vidar, who rips apart Fenrir’s jaw, thereby killing the beast.

Although Ragnarok is depicted as a devastating event, it did not signal the end of the world. Odin prophesied that some of the gods would survive, in addition to a pair of humans, who would go on to repopulate the world.

Odin Remains The Chief Deity of Asir and the Norse Pantheon

To conclude, Odin is the chief deity of the Asir, and by extension, the Norse pantheon. This is clearly reflected in the fact that he is present in the major Norse myths from the creation of the world to the destruction of the current cosmos.

Although Odin is depicted as a warrior god, he is also believed to have been full of wisdom. Poetry, magic, and prophecy were also associated with this god. The last of these enabled Odin to foresee the events of Ragnarok.

Despite being a powerful god, and having won all the battles he fought, Odin was not invincible. This is almost human trait is well captured by Odin seeing his death in his fight with Fenrir at Ragnarok, and that he was powerless to change this fate.

Dr. Steven Greer: “Anyone Who Knows This Material Would Have A Bullet With His Name On It.” – New Now

Dr. Steven Greer: “Anyone Who Knows This Material Would Have A Bullet With His Name On It.”

For those who don’t know who Steven Macon Greer is, we will clarify that he is an American retired doctor and U̳F̳O̳logist. Steven was born on June 28, 1955.

He is the founder of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), and the initiator of The Disclosure Project. Both of these projects are trying to uncover allegedly confidential U̳F̳O̳ data.

We recommend that you watch the video attached to this text and judge for yourself: Is Dr. Steven Greer is right when he says, “Anyone who knows this material would have a bullet with his name on it.”

Ufology career

Greer founded the Center for the Study of E̳x̳t̳r̳a̳-T̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ Intelligence (CSETI) in 1990 to create a diplomatic and research-based initiative to contact e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳s̳. The group defined CE-5 or ‘close encounters of the fifth kind’ as human initiated contact and communication with e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ life. CSETI claims to have over 3,000 confirmed reports of U̳F̳O̳ sightings by pilots and over 4,000 of what they describe as landing traces. The organisation utilizes ‘Rapid Mobilisation Investigative Teams’ with the aim of arriving at landing sites as quickly as possible. CSETI has defined a protocol for human initiated contact to U̳F̳O̳s using consciousness.

In 1993, Greer founded the Disclosure Project, the goal of which is to publicly disclose the government’s alleged knowledge of U̳F̳O̳s, e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ intelligence, and advanced energy and propulsion systems. The Disclosure Project was founded in an effort to grant amnesty to government whistle-blowers willing to violate their security oaths by sharing classified information about U̳F̳O̳s. Greer claims to have briefed CIA director James Woolsey at a dinner party, although Woolsey disputes the accuracy of Greer’s claim.

In May 2001, Greer held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. that featured 20 retired Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration and intelligence officers.

Roswell Alien Interview between Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy and Airl after a UFO crash in July 1947

On July 7, 1947, an object crash landed on a ranch, approximately 75 miles northwest of Roswell, leaving a large field of debris. The local air base at Roswell investigated after the rancher first reported it to Roswell authorities on July 7. On July 8, the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) announced it had recovered a "flying disk". A few hours after the initial "flying disk" press release, U.S. Army Air Force officials stated that it was not a UFO, but a weather balloon. When the question of what crashed was revived in the early 1980s, the "Roswell Incident" became a focus of conspiracy theorists, "abductees," and UFO investigators. It is believed the crashed UFO's were used for reverse engineering, explaining the rapid advancement in technology since that time.

British UFO Expert Claims Aliens Are Advanced Form Of Humans, Hiding Under Ocean

British UFO Expert Claims Aliens Are Advanced Form Of Humans, Hiding Under Ocean

British UFO Expert Claims Aliens Are Advanced Form Of Humans, Hiding Under Ocean

NASA is planning to send an army of mini swimming robots to find the aliens in the oceans of other planets. Such a plan could be used to detect signs of alien life beneath the miles-thick icy shell of Jupiter’s moon Europa or Saturn’s moon Enceladus. But what about our home planet? Does NASA have any plan to explore our oceans? Have they already found everything about the only Blue planet in the Solar system? Or is something stopping them to do it? Interestingly, UFO expert Anna Whitty came forward with a strange theory that says “Aliens have been living under Earth’s ocean for protection and have always been here on the planet.”

Anna Whitty, an author of the book “UFO: A Fundamental Truth,” made the claim on the official statement of Dr. Shirley Wright, who interviewed aliens found at the Roswell crash site in 1947. Whitty stated that aliens are actually just humans – but an advanced form.

In a recently aired two-hour documentary on the UFO crash called “Roswell 75: The Final Evidence,” Anna Whitty was featured alongside expert Philip Mantle, director and producer Spyros Melaris, and Dr. David Hall.

The documentary also featured an interview where Dr. Shirley Wright, a former colleague of Albert Einstein stated that the aliens inquired about human exploration inside the ocean, they asked: “how far into the ocean” the humans traveled.

Anna Whitty Aliens live under ocean

Anna Whitty. Image credit: Daily Star

Whitty did an interviewer with the Daily Star, elaborating more on her claim, she said that if whatever Wright had documented through her interview is correct, then it is more believable for the aliens to come from under the sea rather than from another planet.

Read also:

“If what Shirley said is right, it is more likely that aliens come from somewhere under the sea or caves or something like that, rather than another planet, it makes sense because there’s a lot of evidence on the planet that there has been a massive cataclysm every few thousand years,” Whitty said.

“If humans on the surface are being reset to the Stone Age every several thousands of years, and these people are somewhere where they are more protected because they are underground, then perhaps their development in technology and intelligence is continuing on an upwards trajectory whereas we’re reset. It’s also possible that maybe they aren’t beings at all, but they can make you think you’re seeing what you’re not seeing,” she added.

The documentary dives deep into the incident, examining the eyewitness accounts, the involvement of the space propaganda by the major powers, as well as several secret projects that were assumed to be covered up with the help of this incident.

Whitty’s theory of aliens being “underwater entities” could have some meaning as after all, there are videos of UFOs diving into the water. Below is the footage filmed in the CIC (Combat Information Center) of the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019, in a warning area off San Diego. This footage depicts a UAP event series that reached the culmination with one of the unknown targets entering the water. No wreckage was found, and none of the unknown craft was recovered.

Retired US Air Force Lt. Col. Richard French had served in the US army for more than 27 years. He was an alleged lead investigator of the Project Blue Book in the 1950s, his job was to shoot down false reports of UFOs. In Newfoundland, Canadian Province, he saw two aliens repairing their ship submerged underwater.

Richard French

US Air Force Lt. Col. Richard French during his interview with openmindstv

French testified about his work on UFOs in 1952, in front of 6 former members of Congress at the Citizen Hearing in 2013. He recalled seeing two alien crafts below the water surface, 6 meters from the shoreline. He also saw two extraterrestrials near the ships. He remembered the water was clear, so he could see those beings doing something at the bottom of the craft.

“The water was fairly clear and I could see without any trouble. They weren’t down at the bottom of the [seabed] — they were about halfway down,” French said. He believed the aliens were repairing the ships and tested them before leaving. Whatever happened in Newfoundland is the classic UFO story ever given by the army official. Even though he was chosen to debunk UFO stories, he undoubtedly said that it was a UFO and there were extraterrestrials.

The idea that the ocean is inhabited by extraterrestrials can be backed by these incidents.

An incredible account of spotting underwater UFOs, or Underwater Submerged Objects (USOs), was shared by former Gunner’s Mate John Baughman, who served in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2013. He was stationed on the United States Navy’s third Nimitz-class supercarrier “The USS Carl Vinson” in 2010 when he first saw Tic Tac UFO underwater.

John Baughman

Capt. Kent D. Whalen and John Baughman, 2011

He said: “I was staring into the water from above when a large, flat, white ’Tic Tac’ object, approximately twenty feet in length, suddenly appeared in my view below me, moving right and darted into the depths as fast as it appeared. I couldn’t really comprehend what I saw. It was definitely a solid object, but when it descended, its forward end rapidly collapsed in on itself and disappeared.”

Another USO encounter occurred with the crew of the Soviet Submarine in the south of the Pacific ocean. At the depth of 260 meters, the six disc-like objects were moving toward the submarine at the speed of 426 km per hour. The crew could not escape their pursuit, and the commander ordered the crew to rise to the surface. The crew saw through the periscope that the objects came out of the water and took off at an absurdly fast speed.

There are classic alien abduction cases where the witnesses recalled being taken to secret underwater bases. The abduction of Betty Andreasson Luca is considered to be one of the most documented cases in the history of Ufology. The woman from Massachusetts experienced multiple abductions, and her case is widely studied by UFO researchers. (Click here to read the story of Betty Luca)

Betty Andreasson Luca

Betty Andreasson Luca

During one of her hypnotic regression sessions, Betty remembered one of the early abductions that occurred to her in her childhood. It took place in 1950, when she was taken from her home into a spacecraft as usual. But this time, the craft was flying toward an ocean or sea. She was terrified that the craft would crash into the water. But the ship submerged into the water and entered into a kind of tunnel. Betty could see everything underwater, as the place was filled with light.

Next is “Filiberto Cardenas Encounter,” where he claimed to have been taken to a secret underwater hangar, and interestingly, his abduction was witnessed by his friend’s family.

He remembered being taken to some unknown beach where he saw deep blue water. He said one of the aliens got out of the object and opened a secret tunnel, from where a similar craft came and flew away. The craft which he was in also went into the tunnel with great speed underwater. Soon, he was at the secret “large hangar” under the sea.

Saudi Arabia plans a massive desert SIDESCRAPER: MBS unveils 75 mile-long, $1 trillion skyscraper called the Mirror Line that will be taller than the Empire State Building and house up to five million people

Saudi Arabia plans a massive desert SIDESCRAPER: MBS unveils 75 mile-long, $1 trillion skyscraper called the Mirror Line that will be taller than the Empire State Building and house up to five million people

  • Saudi Arabia plans on building a 75-mile skyscraper called the Mirror Line by 2030
  • Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced in January 2021 and said he wanted to be greater than the Egyptian Pyramids
  • The Mirror Line will consist of two 1,600 feet tall buildings that run parallels to each other and go across desert, mountains, and coastal areas
  • When completed, the $1 trillion megabuilding will hold up to 5million people and people will be able to commute end-to-end in 20 minutes

Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans for a $1 trillion, 75 mile long skyscraper made of mirrored glass that will stretch across its desert and stand taller than the Empire State Building.

The Mirror Line will be a part of the desert city called the Neom - that will be around the size of Massachusetts - which Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced in January 2021.

He did so after saying he wanted his country to house a construction project as iconic and timeless as the Pyramids of Egypt.

'The Line is a project that is a civilizational revolution that puts humans first,' he said at the time.

The Mirror Line will consist of two 1,600 feet tall buildings that run parallel to each other across 75 miles of desert, coastal, and mountain landscapes.

Prince MBS has claimed he wants the Mirror Line to be ready by 2030, although engineers have said it could take 50 years to construct.

The building is so long that it will sit on struts to take the curvature of the Earth into account, and will also have a high speed train line running underneath its length.

If fully completed, the skyscraper will run from the Gulf of Aqaba, through a mountain range, and then extend along the coast into a desert 'aerotropolis,' the Wall Street Journal reported.

Salman also said that the project aimed to allow a million residents to meet within a five-minute walk and to travel end-to-end within a 20-minute stretch. It will also reportedly be powered by renewable energy.

The futuristic buildings feature a silver shine and an intricate inside, with stairwells and greenery and homes to create a linear community.

The trillions-of-dollars project is expected to house five million people after its completion and a high-speed train will run underneath the buildings, according to the Wall Street Journal. It will also feature a marina for boats underneath the arch of the buildings.

The community of millions will also be fed through vertical farming that will be integrated into the walls of the shiny buildings and residents will reportedly pay a subscription for three meals a day.

Prince MBS insists the buildings will be totally carbon neutral and good for the local environment.

The Line is located near the coastal area of the country

Desert living won't just be hot, sticky, and sandy, but the Mirror Line will also feature a sports stadium that is set to be 1,000 feet above the ground.

Salman is also hoping the Neom, as a whole, will create thousands of new jobs and let the oil-rich country stop being so dependent on the resource for wealth, according to the Wall Street Journal.

However, foreign investments in the Neom have not been so forthcoming as many Western countries continue to boycott the country over alleged human rights violations. Salman has been accused of ordering the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, but the Crown Prince has denied any involvement.

Others who have fewer political scruples have questioned whether the projects devised are just too ambitious. Saudi Arabia previously abandoned plans to build a mile-high skyscraper that would have been the world's tallest after getting into funding difficulties.

US President Joe Biden, 79, met with the Crown Prince last week to talk over the broken relationships between the countries. Bitterness between the two subsided a little as Biden is hoping a relationship with the Crown Prince will help lower inflation rates in the US, according to the Wall Street Journal.

High oil prices are actually helping Salman continue forth with the Mirror Line and Neom, as it is providing funding for the expensive project, the Wall Street Journal said.

Salman is hoping to great a desert community known as Neom (pictured)

The futuristic community is supposed to rival the Egyptian Pyramids

The futuristic community is supposed to rival the Egyptian Pyramids

However, Neom also faced human rights criticism when it was announced after tribes were forcibly removed from the area and security allegedly shot a resident dead.

The project's completion date is set for 2030, but builders and urban planners are struggling to resolve many questions. The project was originally set to be completed in 50 years.

Planners are struggling to answer if residents would consider living in a high-rise building after the pandemic, the migration of animals and birds, and how to deal with the structure impacting the flow of groundwater.

Environmental planners say the sheer size and length of the Mirror Line will disrupt migratory bird patterns - and the mirrored glazing of the building could further confuse them, pouring water on the project's desire to be planet-friendly.

‘We Have UFO Craft’ – Jeremy Corbell Says there’s Alien PROOF Being Kept Secret

Jeremy Corbell says UFO aren’t just real, but there is physical evidence they’ve been here.

He’s revealed countless, verified reports. And he says he has a WHOLE lot more…

It’s the age old question.. are we alone in the universe? Soon, we might get some answers.

For the first time in 50 years U.S military officials have gone before a Congress hearing, releasing once classified videos from fighter pilots’ cockpits.

One shows a fleeting image of a spherical object speeding past a military fighter jet.

It’s led to the inquiry which heard about hundreds of unexplained encounters. A Government report last year acknowledged that between 2004 and 2021 that there were 144 unexplained sightings.

Since then the number’s grown to 400.

Investigative UFO filmmaker Jeremy Corbell has obtained and released history making video, many of which have triggered the US government into action.

Video: Crop Circle in England Changes Overnight

Video: Crop Circle in England Changes Overnight

By Tim Binnall

A crop circle found in England over the weekend mysteriously transformed into a second design the following day. The unique case began on Sunday morning when a formation (seen above) featuring a flattened circle surrounding crops that had been shaped into a hexagon was discovered at a site known as Barbury Castle in the county of Wiltshire. As is so often the case, researchers quickly set about studying the design and offering their interpretations of what it might mean, with some noting that it appeared to be the method with which Archimedes approximated pi. However, it would seem that the creator of the crop formation wasn't quite finished as the design dramatically changed overnight.

When the sun rose on Monday morning, the formation (seen below) had taken on a whole new look with the hexagon of crops at the center of the circle having been transformed into 12 'blades' comprised of four triangles each. One is left to wonder if the extremely rare two-phase design was intentional on the part of its creator or if they were forced to abandon their work and came back later to finish it. Should the second scenario be the case, their determination is admirable, since returning to the proverbial scene of the crop crime is a rather risky gambit. That said, whether they were aliens from another world or humans with boards and rope, they somehow managed to complete the formation without anyone catching them.

Pilot snaps cockpit picture of mysterious red glow in clouds over Atlantic Ocean that some likened to a 'watergate' portal to the Upside Down in Netflix's Stranger Things

  • Three eerie images photographed over the Atlantic Ocean were posted to Reddit on July 22 with a note saying the pilot who took the pictured had 'never seen anything like it'
  • Redditors scrambled to solve the mystery while also reveling in comparisons to an underwater portal to the hellish Upside Down in Netflix's Stanger Things
  • Others speculated the lights could be the end of times, or aliens
  • Among the more sensible theories was that the lights emanated from a fishing boat using red LED panels to attract schools of saury fish

A mysterious fiery red glow photographed by a pilot as he passed over clouds above the Atlantic Ocean have sparked comparisons with a 'watergate' - an underwater portal to the nightmarish parallel universe, the Upside Down - in Netflix's hit show Stranger Things.

The three eerie images, taken on July 22, were posted to Reddit with the hopes of unraveling the mystery and included a note saying the pilot 'says he's never seen anything like it'.

There, they spawned a frenzy of theories and comments ranging from comparisons to scenes from the latest series of Netflix's hit show Stranger Things, to others that suggested it was most likely a fishing boat using large panels of red LED lights to attract schools of saury fish.

However, without closer inspection, the cause cannot be known for certain. So far the pilot has remained anonymous and there is no indication of how low he was flying or where over the Atlantic he saw the mysterious scene.

Reddit commenters immediately compared the mysterious scene to the latest series of Stranger Things where an underwater portal to the nightmarish Upside Down opens under Lovers' Lake in the very unfortunate town of Hawkins. More sensible commenters said it was most likely caused by a fishing vessel using red lights to draw schools of saury fish

Saury fishing uses hundreds of massive LED lights on fishing boats' perimeters to attract fish, allowing them to be easily scooped up in nets. It is most often seen in the Pacific Ocean but the Atlantic saury is found from the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, Canada to Bermuda.

Although LED is the preferred option for fishing boats, due to its its higher efficiency and lower weight, the fishing boat below could be using another lighting solution like high-intensity discharge (HID). Its intense glow through the clouds suggests use of HID which would explain the volume of light escaping upwards in the photos.

Saury fish are attracted to bright, red lights. The ships, which are large, are able to lure in thousands of fish that it simply vacuums up.

When lights are placed under the water, they reflect off particles in the water. These tiny little particles enhance a natural food source for bait.

However, Redditors made the most of the opportunity to suggest theories ranging from the end of times to aliens. Among the most popular was the Stranger Things comparison where, in season four, a portal opens in Hawkins's Lovers Lake.

One Redditor wrote: 'Dustin's trying to open up a portal to the upside down - it is literally a watergate,' referring to one of the scenes.

While another fears the red glow could mean the end of days and one Redditor shared: 'Don't worry it's just hte pits of hell staring back at you.'

It's not the first time pilots have reported strange sights. In 2014, Dutch pilot JPC van Heijst said he and his co-pilot flew over glowing clouds south of the Russian peninsula Kamchatka five hours into a 10-hour flight from Hong Kong to Anchorage, Alaska in a Boeing 747-8.

Van Heijst explained on PBase that they spotted an intense flash of light like a lightning bolt, directed vertically upwards which was followed by a deep red and orange glow 20 minutes later.

However, what caused the eerie red glow under the clouds cannot be confirmed. The pilot who snapped the images has remained anonymous

A more recent incident was captured in 2020 by another pilot who was also flying over the Pacific Ocean. The images were snapped as the plane was southeast of the Sea of Okhotsk

Redditor users also speculated that the red light was from a fleet of fishing boats

The experience left van Heijst perturbed because it was completely without explanation.

There were no thunderstorms on their route or weather radar, suggesting the lightning did not originate in a storm and the following glow was also a mystery. Similar lights have been spotted from squid-fishing-boats, but van Heijst says this 'would not make sense in this area'.

He said: 'The closer we got, the more intense the glow became, illuminating the clouds and sky below us in a scary orange glow, in a part of the world where there was supposed to be nothing but water.'

The only cause the pilots could think of was a volcano eruption under the surface of the ocean 30 minutes earlier but no ash plume followed and despite their being a few volcanoes on their route, they had had not been alerted to any new activity - although this doesn't necessarily include unseen underwater volcanoes.

A more recent incident was captured in 2020 by another pilot who was also flying over the Pacific Ocean. The images were snapped as the plane was southeast of the Sea of Okhotsk.

The three photos, also shared on Reddit, show the same glowing lights peaking out from under the clouds and a majority of the comments point to fishing boats, but possibly a feet.

Mysterious red glow spotted by pilot while flying over Atlantic Ocean

Mysterious red glow spotted by pilot while flying over Atlantic Ocean

A pilot flying saw a mysterious red glow over the Atlantic. The pilot claims he has never seen anything like it.
mysterious%20read%20glow%20ocean%20(2).jpg

We all see enchanting sights when flying, but some are more extraordinary than others. A pilot flying over the Atlantic has noticed one of these things, the pilot also says he’s never seen anything like it before
The pilot noticed a bright red glow before departure, which was confirmed when he looked at a photo preview on the camera's back. There was supposed to be nothing but an endless ocean for kilometers around them.
They seemed at first like a distant city or a group of classic Asian squid fishing boats, but this was not possible here. The lights they saw were noticeably bigger than the conventional lights that cities or ships would emit, which are typically yellow and white.
mysterious%20read%20glow%20ocean%20(1).jpg

The brightness intensified as they approached, illuminating the sky and clouds below the airplane in a spooky red glow that one might anticipate with a sizable fire on the ground. In a region of the globe where there should only be water.

The images, taken on July 22, were posted to Reddit with the hopes of unraveling the mystery. People suggested that it could be an underwater portal others suggested that it was a fishing boat using large panels of red LED lights to attract schools of saury fish.

So far it remains a mystery what this red glow in the middle of the ocean could have been.

CGI recreation of a UFO encounter in Germany (Amazing TR-3B sighting)

CGI recreation of a UFO encounter in Germany (Amazing TR-3B sighting)

tr-3b-1024x691.png

Witness report:

This encounter happened on July 25th, 2013 in Germany right at the French border. It was 10:30pm when my ex and I went outside to have a cigarette.

While we were talking, I noticed 3 oddly bright stars in the corner of my eye. I looked over my shoulder and in that moment those „stars“ quickly descended. BOOM. There it was. Completely unexpected! A pitch black triangular craft hovering completely silent about 30 feet above our heads, „looking“ at us belly first. Each side was approximately 30 feet long. Its lights were extremely bright, yet not blinding. I would describe them as „pure lights“. I’ve never seen anything like it before.

We were absolutely gobsmacked. Like deer caught in the headlights. We felt paralyzed. As if we were hypnotized or controlled. Just frozen and staring in disbelief. Everything was or seemed silent in that moment. Before, you could hear frogs and crickets. They were quite noisy. It was as if time had stopped. Oddly enough neither of us was able to say if that encounter had lasted 5, seconds, 30 seconds or 3 minutes.

Before it took off, it moved super fast from the left, upwards and to right. It was „zigzagging“. Like a ping pong ball. It was totally surreal. I did not understand what was happening. Then it shot off towards space in an instant. It was so fast, it left trails of light behind like in that Star Wars scene when they hit warp or light speed. And during all of this it didn’t make the slightest noise. Nothing! We immediately turned our heads towards each other and confirmed that we really just saw, what we saw.

We looked up again, then at each other again and without saying a word we ran inside the house, because fear and the flight instinct kicked in. However, my curiosity quickly took over and I went outside again, but the craft never returned. So yeah, that’s my story. I didn’t choose to have that sighting, but it happened. It was a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because I feel lucky to know for a fact, that the phenomenon is real. But a curse, because many people don’t believe me and choose ridicule. I got over that, though.

What’s worse is, that this incident has created a ton of questions but not many answers. I will NOT say or claim, that what we saw was ET. I simply have no way of knowing that. But what I know, is that the craft was 100% real. Needless to say, that that night has changed my life forever. I used to be the most hardcore atheist, making fun of religion. So I kind of deserved the ridicule. It didn’t make me religious though. Just a lot more open minded. I still don’t believe in a god, especially not in the biblical sense. I’d still say that aliens interdimensional theories or black budget projects seem more plausible to me than a biblical god. But I will never claim that I know anything. Since that night, I KNOW THAT I KNOW NOTHING!

Veteran Air Traffic Controller On Dealing With Stranger Things In The Sky

Veteran Air Traffic Controller On Dealing With Stranger Things In The Sky

A retired air traffic controller and FAA liaison to the military gives firsthand insights on the unidentified aerial phenomena topic.

th?id=OVFT.QZRKCdTgh18U6dezo_N65S&pid=News&w=256&h=158&c=14&rs=2&qlt=90&dpr=1.5

"Makes you feel like they are just keeping things from you."

That’s how Colin Scoggins describes the U.S. military’s response to a potential unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) sighting during his time with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at Boston Air Route Traffic Control Center. Scoggins is now retired, but his recountings of various instances when he and his colleagues saw mysterious blips on their radars or heard reports of other sightings are timelessly intriguing.

Scoggins began his career with the U.S. Air Force, working on fighter jets like the F-4 Phantom as a crew chief. Once he got out, he started school at West Virginia University and slung drinks part-time at a local bar to pay the bills. It was at this establishment that he happened to meet three air traffic controllers (ATC) who were working the tower at Morgantown Municipal Airport in the spring of 1981.

“They were joking about going on strike in June, and I was almost thinking about going back into service,” Scoggins told The War Zone. “And they said, ‘No, you should become a controller.’ So, I actually took the test back then, and then they ended up going on strike in August and I had already moved back up to the northeast and I called over to the regional and told them that I was interested in, you know, becoming a controller.”

Unfortunately, he was told that the test he had already taken was out of date and that he'd need to take the new one. Upon passing the updated exam, Scoggins found out it could be about a year until he learned whether or not he had gotten the gig. Young, in a relationship, recently accepted into Northeastern University, and in need of reliable income, Scoggins once again considered going back into the Air Force. That was until just a couple of days after Christmas when a request for an interview turned up in the mail. In 1982, Scoggins started training for his position with the FAA.

Once officially hired, he worked the airspace in northern Maine until a powerlifting accident resulted in a shoulder injury that required Scoggins to take medication for an extended period of time. Because of that, he was taken off the floor and moved to the aerospace office where he would work throughout his healing process. After working in this role and serving a bit more time on the floor, Boston Center’s military liaison was removed from his position in 1995, and Scoggins was asked to work both the military and civilian airspace sides of his department in the interim. Then in about 2005, he was relieved from his controller position and became Boston Center’s military specialist until he retired in 2016.

With over three decades of experience working for both the military and the FAA, Scoggins isn’t short on stories. Retellings ranging from some of the first RQ-4 landings to his hand in the tragic United 93 flight are just a couple of the career-defining moments that Scoggins could share, but his experience with strange things that occurred in or near the nation's airspace is nonetheless notable. While some were either quickly or gradually debunked, the happenings still act as unique insight into how the FAA and the military handled UAP sightings, especially prior to 9/11.

In terms of UAP protocol, Scoggins explained that his department had a relatively standard requirement to report anything they had seen or received accounts of to the team's supervisor who would then pass it along to the operational manager. He said it was also procedure to report it to the military, and for Scoggins, that meant contacting the Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS).

"Understand most controllers are a certain personality," Scoggins said. "Normally we are controlling individuals. We like to control pretty much everything and none of us have any patience. I still don’t have any patience today after being retired for six years."

Sometimes, though, Scoggins said that a particularly busy day would only warrant an acknowledgment of a possible incident before time constraints would require that the team moved on. Others would lead to dedicated investigations.

"As far as how most controllers feel if they are real, I think most think they are," Scoggins said. "And whether they believe they are not from our world, I am sure there are a few. I would think most believe they are probably from our world and probably our own government."

He added that there was a small percentage of conspiracy theorists among the ATCs, just as there are in the general public, who will believe what they want to believe. Although, he doesn't recall ever being told not to report his findings, nor did he think that any controller felt as though their job was in jeopardy if they did.

"I had three instances I can think of,” Scoggins said. “One of them was definitely a meteor smashing into the ocean. One pilot saw it and thought it was a UFO. Another guy that was flying at a 90-degree angle from him saw it and said, 'No, it's definitely a meteor that went right to the ocean.' So we could write that one off."

Meteors are often mistaken by onlookers as UAPs or UFOs. The chunks of cosmic rock both big and small hurtle through space all the time, sometimes entering the Earth’s atmosphere and emanating a fiery glow as they burn up. This can also cause the meteor to break apart, eventually becoming multiple pieces so tiny in size that it essentially vanishes into thin air. These characteristics could lead many to believe they had just seen a UFO despite it being a common celestial occurrence.

"Another one was at dusk or dawn,” Scoggins said. “We had a Boeing 747 pilot swear that one of the passengers seated in the back said that they saw rockets fired at their plane. Back then we used to have air traffic assistants for tracking systems and they were usually ex-pilots. This guy was an ex-Boeing 747 right seater and he says, 'You know what my guess is? Was it in a turn?' And I told him, yeah, and he goes, 'At dusk or dawn the light can shoot out the window across the wing, and then when they straighten the wing back up the light comes back at you.'”

Because such an optical illusion could convince someone with an untrained eye that a rocket was being fired at their plane, Scoggins was the first to admit that the air traffic assistant's guess was totally viable. But he made sure to take into consideration the specific airspace that the 747 was flying in at the time.

“That pilot was near warning area 102, which was sometimes used for live fire, but normally it was not,” Scoggins added. “We also didn’t have any military activity going on in warning area 102 at the time, so it couldn’t have been a rocket fired at them because we had nobody up there."

According to GlobalSecurity, warning area 102 is a part of the Boston Area Complex in the waters adjacent to the coasts of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York. The overall military operating area also includes warning areas 103 and 104, Small Point Mining Range, and submarine transit lanes. In terms of military activity that is carried out in this area, beyond aerial training, those operations could include surface-to-air gunnery, anti-submarine warfare tactics, and both surface and subsurface exercises.

Scoggins used this knowledge to help him determine whether a rocket or missile had actually been fired not only at the aforementioned 747 but at the tragic Trans World Airlines flight 800 (TWA 800) that crashed during the middle stretch of his career, as well. Before the reasoning behind the TWA 800’s explosion was ultimately reached, there were claims that a missile had been fired at the airliner.

"Now it wasn’t but a couple of years later when TWA 800 went down, and I spent two years working on that,” Scoggins said. “I had to look for any military activity that was going on at the time and possibly could have shot a rocket, and we had a C-130 out there at the time in warning area 105, but they wouldn’t have been firing any rockets.”

After a four-year National Transportation Safety Board investigation, Scoggins’ work paired with the help of all other experts and departments that were involved later determined that TWA 800’s disastrous mid-air explosion was caused by flammable fuel vapors in the center fuel tank likely from a short circuit. The incident killed all 230 people on board. But that wasn’t the last of Scoggins’ encounters with strange events in the airspace around and off of America’s east coast.

A photograph of the right side of the large three-dimensional reconstruction of flight TWA 800.  Credit: National Transportation Safety Board accident report

"The only other one we did have was a high-moving aircraft at 49,000 feet on a straight line passing over New York City doing about 900 knots,” Scoggins said. “We brought it up to the military three or four times and they just kept saying, 'Nope, we don’t see anything.' And I think it was definitely a [real radar] target. So my guess is that the military knew who it was, and they weren’t going to tell us."

Scoggins is confident in this assertion because, before 9/11, he said that the military shared the same radars that Boston Center used on the coast. He explained that if he was using the radar located in Riverhead out of Long Island, so was the military. If he was using Bucks Harbor radar up in Maine, the military was looking at the exact same thing.

An aerial view of the Bucks Harbor radar station in Maine.  Google Earth

He even added that the military actually owned those sites and often adjusted them and did work on them. For some perspective, he went on to mention that his department also had a site out in Skowhegan, Maine which was called an Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System and those were non-military and didn’t look for raw radar returns. However, Bucks Harbor and Riverhead did have the raw, primary radar that the military actually used, so Scoggins was sure that the Pentagon was looking at the exact same information but insisted that they hadn’t seen anything.

"The military has a lot of stuff,” Scoggins said. “I’m not really a believer of actual UFOs, but I’m a firm believer that if the SR-71 was made in the 1960s, I’m sure we have a lot better crap out there now. Who knows what we really have, but I know there are other controllers out there that have seen a lot more.”

  • Thank you to Colin Scoggins for taking the time to recount his experiences with the FAA for this piece.

Remembering Atlantis & Lemuria’s Final Days and their Extraterrestrial Origins

Remembering Atlantis & Lemuria’s Final Days and their Extraterrestrial Origins

Jen Sullivan is the author of Child of the Universe, a book where she describes her memories of several past lives that were connected to the origins of Atlantis and Lemuria (Lymuria), and their respective destruction. Jen was suffering from a brain tumor when she was asked by her long time friend, Sarah Breskman Cosme, to participate in Quantum Hypnosis Healing Technique (QHHT) sessions to complete Sarah’s level 3 certification with Delores Cannon’s QHHT program.

After Jen recalled details of her most recent past life where she jumped off a bridge to her death in 1978 after going through a lobotomy as a result of nobody believing her past life recollections at the time, she experienced a remarkable healing. As the QHHT sessions continued, Jen remembered her first past life on Earth as a male when she was part of an extraterrestrial mission that crash landed in a large south Pacific island. She remembers being ultimately successful in creating a hybrid being using the genetics of a primitive local female and her DNA. The hybrid that was born became revered for her wisdom and ability to use red crystals that were retrieved from the spacecraft , and became the first Queen of Lemuria. Her name was Oona.

One of Jen’s companions on the crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft traveled through a space time portal to the other side of the planet taking with him some of the red crystals. He was involved in creating a hybrid being that was among the first Atlanteans who gained control over the local population. Ultimately, the Atlanteans followed a path of rapid technological development where the red crystals were used for weapons development and imperial conquest. In contrast the Lemurians lived a more peaceful life in harmony with nature where the red crystals were used to sustain a natural immunity to all disease, and considerably extended their life spans.

In her book, Jen describes the circumstances surrounding the Atlanteans visiting and ultimately destroying Lemuria. In that incarnation, Jen was a princess (Kala) who briefly reigned after her mother, the Queen was killed by the Atlanteans. Shortly after her coronation, Lemuria was destroyed by tidal waves created by undersea detonations caused by the Altanteans, and she was captured. Jen remembered being taken to Atlantis where she was tortured and interrogated for many decades over her knowledge and abilities concerning the red crystals.

In her first interview on Exopolitics Today, Jen describes why she chose to undergo the QHHT sessions with Sarah Cosme, the healing she experienced, and the details of her remarkable past lives as an extraterrestrial and the last Queen of Lemuria/Lymuria. Her memories of captivity in Atlantis over many decades gives a unique perspective on Atlantean culture, politics and science.

Note:

  • During the interview, I encountered an unusual amount of electrical interference, which culminated in all the power in my home going off for a short period. My computer then experienced strange pulses which can be witnessed in the interview after the interruption around the (30 minutes mark). Jen explains how such electrical interference has happened often in her sessions with Sarah Breskman Cosme.

Video: Is It Really Dangerous To Be A UFO Researcher? Documentary by UFO Insight

Is It Really Dangerous Being A UFO Researcher? In this pilot episode of UFO Insight’s The UFO and Alien Question series, we look at some of the most suspicious deaths of people involved in investigating or researching UFOs.

Was Phil Schneider really murdered because of the public talks he did regarding underground extraterrestrial bases?

Was Jesse Marcell murdered due to an apparent breakthrough in UFO research?

And was James Forrestal – the first United States Secretary of Defense – really thrown from a 13th-floor window to stop his speaking of what he knew about UFOs to the American public?

There is perhaps more to these claims than many might think.

Ex-CIA Officer’s Alien-UFO Encounter: Says ‘There’s A Whole Other Reality That Surrounds Us’

Ex-CIA Officer's Alien-UFO Encounter: Says 'There’s A Whole Other Reality That Surrounds Us'

Ex-CIA Officer’s Alien-UFO Encounter: Says ‘There’s A Whole Other Reality That Surrounds Us’

The link between CIA and UFO mystery is dated back to 1947. Since then, many CIA officials and the ex-US military personally propelled UFOlogy by giving shocking statements. Former CIA & US military officials such as R. James Woolsey, Derrel Sims, Lue Elizondo, David Fravor, etc. described how the existence of reality all around us that we are unable to perceive could be a major aspect of the UFO phenomenon.

Recently, two veteran CIA officers Jim Semivan & John Ramirez, who have expressed personal interest in UFO/UAP issues and cases, joined the George Knapp show to discuss the CIA’s role in the study of UFOs and their own experiences.

Jim Semivan spent 25 years with the CIA and then joined other former government insiders as part of Tom Delonge’s To the Stars Academy. He detailed how he was inducted into the CIA and learned spycraft, which takes years to master. The CIA works on a “need-to-know” principle, so when it came to UFOs, Semivan was not made specifically aware of research on this topic, though CIA analyst Kit Green was known for pursuing the paranormal.

Jim Semivan

Jim Semivan worked for 25 years as an Operations Officer for the CIA’s Directorate of Operations.

On Coast to Coast AM Semivan described his own alien-type encounters that occurred to him and his wife starting in 1990, in which beings showed up in their bedroom. The incident was authentic, and not a hypnagogic or dream state, he stipulated. The couple subsequently observed on-and-off poltergeist activity in their home, and more recently, he said he saw a hooded figure that resembled the Death Eater character from Harry Potter, who perhaps materialized to herald the death of a close friend. Semivan said he concurs with a remark made by Skinwalker Ranch researcher Colm Kelleher that the UFO phenomenon is a lot more than nuts & bolts and machines, as there are also psychic and biological elements that ratchet up the high strangeness. To the Stars’ investigation of “metamaterials” with odd isotopic ratios (possibly associated with UFOs) was ongoing, he added.

In the first half of the interview Semivan said:

“I think they mention that the phenomenon is a natural part of our universe, and we’re living in it but we don’t recognize it. The same way that insects and animals don’t recognize the human universe. A cat and a dog could be running through a library, but they don’t have the faintest idea what the books are all about and what libraries are all about. We might be walking through our existence and there’s a whole other reality that surrounds us that we just simply don’t have the ability to see or interact with.”

“It seems to be peeking inside our little consensus reality. As I explained to somebody once, it comes close, it teases us, it cajoles us, it lies to us, but you can never take it home to meet the parents. It won’t allow you to do that. There’s no formal introduction. Add on top that there’s no ontology, which is just a fancy word, it basically means there’s no structure to even discuss this. We don’t have a common lexicon. Somebody said we have dots but no connections. I don’t even think we have dots.”

Read also:

John Ramirez, a 25-year CIA veteran who specialized in ballistic missile defense systems, was featured in the latter half of the interview. He recalled his long-standing interest in spycraft, and how he shifted from being a Navy officer to the CIA in 1984. He compared intel gathering to being a journalist for a news service, though his sources for reports were typically clandestine.

John Ramirez

John Ramirez

Like Semivan, he also experienced what might be considered alien abduction-type experiences, including being placed on an examination table in a circular craft. Interestingly, a number of his counterparts in the CIA and NSA also had UFO experiences, he revealed. In his job related to missile defense, he became aware of times when Russian radar would detect unusual craft, and in one instance, he said they tried to lure a UAP into landing.

Ramirez noted that CIA historian Gerald Haines wrote about the agency’s study of UFOs from 1947 through the 1990s, for a division that was initially called the Office of Scientific Intelligence. What was particularly intriguing to Ramirez was that the division had life sciences and medical people on staff, indicating possible interest in alien bodies.

He also described how an Air Force pilot on the plane that flew near Kamchatka to monitor Russian tests observed a massive “milky white wall” of light flying toward him at 6,200 mph, though the Air Force assumed it was some kind of countermeasure by the Russians. Regarding the military sightings of ‘trans-medium’ UAP like the Tic Tacs, Ramirez said he does not believe that Russia or any other foreign country has the capabilities to produce this kind of antigravity technology.

Lue made these points in several interviews, but in this one, he was asked to elaborate on his comments about how our senses are reductive and limit our reality, and how this might be relevant to the phenomenon. He replied:

“This is something we’ve been dealing with for a long time. Imagine the first person to get on a boat and sail over the horizon. There’s stories of sea monsters and Krakens that will devour you and destroy your boat. Yet, we did it anyways. We did sail, and we explored the world. It turns out, 500 years later, there really are sea monsters. We call them the Great Squid of the Pacific, and great white sharks and whales.

Now they’re just part of nature and have a scientific name, but those sea monsters still exist. They’re there, we just learned to understand them. Maybe this is the same thing. Maybe this is just another expedition over the horizon where we’re going to realize what we thought were monsters are really just neighbors.”

Interestingly, Garry Nolan, Lue Elizondo, Tom DeLonge, and Jacques Vallee say very similar things when it comes to the reality of the phenomenon.

Ex-NASA Employee Saw Hi-Res UFO/Alien Craft Photos, Ready To Testify Before Congress

After the Pentagon‘s great UFO declassification and congressional hearings, NASA decided to hunt down the aliens. The agency possesses advanced technology on Planet Earth, exploring the possibility of transforming satellites into alien seekers to probe unexplained sightings without launching new equipment. The Galileo Project is designing a space mission to rendezvous with the next anomalous (Oumuamua-like) interstellar object that zooms into our solar system.

Is that the first time NASA became interested in alien civilizations? NASA whistleblowers, who claimed to have closely worked in some of the top missions, do not think so. Former NASA employee, Donna Hare reportedly saw a photo of a distinct UFO. Her colleague explained that it was his job to airbrush such evidence of UFOs out of photographs before they were released to the public.

On May 9, 2001, over twenty military, intelligence, government, corporate and scientific witnesses came forward at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to establish the reality of UFOs or extraterrestrial vehicles, extraterrestrial life forms, and the resulting advanced energy and propulsion technologies. As part of the Disclosure Project, Donna Hare, a photographic scientist testified to have worked for NASA contactor Philco Ford in the early 1970s. She had a high-security clearance to walk in NASA’s photo lab and other departments.

During the Disclosure Project press conference, Hare revealed that NASA covered up and eliminated space anomalies such as UFOs from the satellite photos. Hare has got several awards in the space programs. She dedicated most of her time as a technical illustrator to space programs. She created lunar maps and landing slides and had been working for 15 years as a sub-contractor for NASA.

Below is the transcript of Hare’s part in the Disclosure Program (Full Video link here):

“Good morning everyone! My name is Donna Hare, and I worked at Philco Ford aerospace from 1967 to 1981. During that time, I was a design illustrator draftsman. I did the launch slides, landing slides, and also projected plotting boards lunar maps for NASA. We were a contractor but most of the time, I worked in Building 8. I had the opportunity to do extra work during downtime which was between missions, and I walked into a photo lab which was the NASA lab across the hallway. I had a secret clearance which is not that high but I was able to go into restricted areas.

At the time, I was talking to one of the techs in there and he drew my attention to a NASA photograph. It had a “Dot” on it, and I asked what it was. Well, he drew my attention to it and I said is that a dot on the emulsion? He was smiling and he had his hands crossed… This was an aerial photograph of the Earth, I’m assuming the Earth because it had pine trees on it and the shadows of the craft or whatever it was were at the same angle as the trees and by its very nature, a UFO. And I wanted to clarify that to the gentleman that was talking to me… So, I did not know what this was but I realized at this point that it’s very secret.

I asked him what he was gonna do with this piece of information. He said they always airbrush these out before they sell them to the public, so they’re pissed pesky little creatures appearing on this photograph they wanted to get rid of. After that, I decided I would ask questions to other people that worked there (away from the site and not on site).

A guard told me that he was asked to burn some photographs and not to look at them, and there was another guard guarding him who was in green fatigues watching him burn the photographs and he said he was too tempted he looked at one.

I knew someone in quarantine with the Apollo astronauts he told me that the Apollo astronauts saw crap on the moon when we landed. He said that the astronauts are told to keep this quiet.”

Hare was told by one of the sources that during one of the moon landings, three UFOs had landed. Subsequently, there was a codeword “Santa Claus” for these crafts. She said she would be willing to testify before Congress. (Source)

In 2000, Gary McKinnon, a British Hacker who got so fed up with the government hiding information related to UFOs and free energy that he decided to hack the most secured servers of NASA and the Pentagon. McKinnon said that he had seen real photographs of UFOs in computer files at the Johnson Space Center Building. He even took a screenshot of one of the cigar-shaped UFOs in-between space and the earth’s atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was removed from his computer after being seized.

Lonnie Zamora UFO Incident: A Reliable Police Officer, Blue Flames, A Landed Craft & Small Beings

Lonnie Zamora UFO Incident: A Reliable Police Officer, Blue Flames, A Landed Craft & Small Beings

An in-depth look at one of the most outstanding and unsolved UFO cases in history. Lonnie Zamora was a reliable witness whose story was backed up by many other eyewitnesses.

Lonnie Zamora UFO Incident: A Reliable Police Officer, Blue Flames, A Landed Craft & Small Beings

It was April 24, 1964, a Friday, and close to 5:50 p.m. in Socorro, New Mexico. Police Officer Lonnie Zamora, who had just observed a speeding car heading south, was in hot pursuit and heading toward the rodeo grounds. Less than a minute into the chase he heard what he thought was an explosion. He immediately thought of a nearby dynamite shack.

When he observed a brilliant blue "cone of flame" off to the south-south-west in the direction of the shack, he veered off to the right onto a gravel road. Even over the crunching-tire sound, Zamora could hear a continuous roar. The slowly descending flame fell out of his line of sight, eclipsed by a hill. He turned off the road and attempted twice to drive over the hill, succeeding on the third attempt. Meanwhile, the roaring sound diminished and ceased. By the time he got to the top of the hill, all was silent, and the flame was no longer visible.

Zamora stopped his car and looked around for a few moments until his eye caught a metallic object in a ravine to the southwest, about 150 yards away. His initial impression was that it was a white car lying either on its side or upside down. Then he "saw two figures in what resembled white coveralls, pretty close to the object on its northwest side, as if inspecting it. They were standing between it and a good-size greasewood (creosote) bush. One of the figures - the one in front nearest me seemed to turn as if it heard or saw my car coming. It must have seen me, cause when I turned and it looked straight at my car, it seemed startled - almost seemed to jump somewhat."

The figures were small, "maybe the size of boys," and from a distance they looked "normal in shape." The object was oval-shaped and positioned so that its long axis was horizontal. As he would write in his official report, "At this time I started moving my car towards them quickly, with idea to help. Had stopped about only a couple of seconds." As he resumed his drive toward the object, the car descended into a dip, and the sight was lost to view momentarily. He radioed headquarters to report that he was investigating a "possible 10-40" - police code for accident. Yet he was no longer sure that was what he was seeing. Maybe this was an experimental aircraft from nearby White Sands Proving Grounds.

Two blended depictions of the Zamora incident

The Zamora UFO incident is one of the most interesting on record

He was still on the radio when he stopped for a second time and stepped outside. The microphone slipped from his hand. As he picked it up, he heard two or three loud thumps, "like someone hammering or shutting a door or doors, heard possibly a second or less apart." He quickly placed the microphone back into its slot, then got out again. At that moment a roar filled his ears. In the terse words of the police report he soon would file:

"Started low frequency quickly, then rose in frequency (higher tone) and in loudness - from loud to very loud. At same time as roar saw flame. Flame was under the object. Object was starting to go straight up - slowly up... straight up. Flame was light blue and at bottom was sort of orange color. From this angle, saw what might be the side of object (not end, as first noted). Difficult to describe flame. Thought, from roar, it might blow up. Flame might have come from underside of object, at middle, possibly a four-feet area - very rough guess... No smoke, except dust in immediate area.

Object was smooth - no windows or doors. As roar started it was still on or near ground. Noted red lettering of some type... Insignia about 2 1/2 by 2 feet wide, guess. Was in middle of object... Object still like aluminum - white."

When this was happening, Zamora was within 50 feet of the object. As soon as he saw the flame, "I immediately thought the thing might explode," he told ufologist Ray Stanford, "so I hit the dirt in a prone position there on the slope for a moment until I heard the roar continue and knew there was no explosion." During that moment he felt some faint heat from the flame. He rose and dashed to the car, watching the object all the while. Because his attention was elsewhere, he collided with the rear of the car and was knocked down. His glasses and sunshades went flying. Staggering to his feet, he kept running, determined to get himself positioned behind the car. To quote from his report:

"Kept running to north, with car between me and object. Glanced back couple of times. Noted object to rise to about level of car, about 20 to 25 feet guess - took, I guess, about six seconds when object started rise and I glanced back. I guess I ran about halfway to where I ducked down, just over the edge of hill. I guess I had run about 25 feet when I glanced back and saw the object about level with the car and it appeared directly over the place where it rose from." I was still running and I jumped just over the hill - I stopped because I did not hear the roar. I was scared of the roar, and I had planned to continue running down the hill. I turned around toward the object and at the same time put my head toward ground, covering my face with arms. Being that there was no roar, I looked up, and I saw the object going away from me, in a southwest direction. When the roar stopped, heard a sharp tone whine from high tone to low tone. At the end of roar was this whine and the whine lasted maybe a second. Then there was complete silence about the object. That's when I lifted up my head and saw object going away from me. It did not come any closer to me. It appeared to go in a straight line and at same height - possibly 10 to 15 feet from the ground, and it cleared the dynamite shack by about 3 feet. Shack about 8 feet high. Object was traveling very fast. It seemed to rise up, and take off immediately across country. I ran back to my car and as I ran back I kept an eye on the object. I picked up my glasses (I left the sunglasses on the ground), got into the car, and radioed to Nep Lopez, radio operator, to "look out of the window, to see if you can see an object." He asked, "What is it?" I answered, "It looks like a balloon." I don't know if he saw it. If Nep looked out of his window, which faces north, he couldn't have seen it. I did not tell him at the moment which window to look out of.

As I was calling Nep, I could still see the object. The object seemed to lift up slowly, and to "get small" in the distance very fast. It seemed to just clear Box Canyon or Six Mile Canyon mountain. It disappeared as it went over the mountains. It had no flame whatsoever as it was travelling over the ground, and made no smoke or noise.

Noted no odors. Noted no sounds other than described. Gave directions to Nep Lopez at radio and to Sgt M.S. Chavez to get there. Went down to where object was (had been), and I noted the brush was burning in several places. At that time, I heard Sgt. Chavez calling me on radio for my location, and I returned to my car, told him he was looking at me. Then Sgt. Chavez came up and asked me what the trouble was, because I was sweating and he told me I was white, very pale. I asked the Sergeant to see what I saw, and that was the burning bush, then Sgt. Chavez and I went to the spot, and Sgt. Chavez pointed out the tracks."

The entire incident - from the sighting of the flame to the disappearance of the object - took place in less than two minutes. When Chavez arrived, he was struck by Zamora's distraught expression. "You look like you've seen the devil," Chavez said. "Maybe I have," Zamora replied. He no longer was thinking in terms of secret military devices.

The "tracks" were four asymmetrically placed, trapezoidal imprints. Stanford, who saw them, described them thus:

"They apparently made by wedge-shaped units being forced, by great weight, down into the rather well-packed soil of the ravine. The dimensions of each wedge involved must have been: a horizontal length of 12 to 16 inches, a width, horizontally, of 6 to 8 inches; and a vertical wedge - depth of possibly 4 to 6 inches, although the total depth is difficult to determine from the soil depressions."

The local newspaper observed, "They did not appear to have been made by an object striking the earth with great force, but by an object of considerable weight settling to earth at slow speed and not moving after touching the ground." The imprints also felt moist to the touch, unlike the surrounding soil.

To Chavez, though he had known Zamora for years and considered him honest and reliable, the story seemed mindboggling and impossible. Chavez examined a greasewood bush situated approximately in the center of the quadrangle. Though a smoke, or steamlike substance was rising from it, it felt cool to the touch. Rocks and clumps of grass looked as if they had been seared. There was no evidence of flame or coals; yet, as an officer who saw the bush a few minutes later would remark, "The flame from that damn thing just sliced that greasewood bush in half, just burned it off clean like a blade of fire had cut through it." Chavez surreptitiously looked into Zamora's car to see if it contained any implements with which the effects could have been manufactured, but he found nothing.

Zamora, who had sketched the insignia just prior to Chavez's arrival on the scene, showed it to his fellow officer. It was peculiar: an arrow shape pointing upward from a straight-line base; a half-circle surrounded the arrow and came down nearly all the way to the base. Neither man had ever seen anything like it. Within minutes State Police Senior Patrolman Ted V. Jordan arrived, as did Undersheriff James Luckie and cattle inspector Robert White, who had overheard the radio traffic. Jordan took photographs of the site with his Argus C-3 camera. The group stayed at the site until just before 7 p.m., when Chavez and Zamora left to go to the state police office. Having restored their shattered nerves, the two were back to speculating that the object had come from White Sands, the size of its pilots notwithstanding, and they were looking for guidance on what to do next. They arrived there at 7:05.

Other Witnesses

Just before 6 p.m. on April 24, a car pulled into the Whiting Brother's service station in Socorro. Inside were five members of a family: a man, a woman, and three boys, the oldest of them appearing to be 11 or 12 years old. The man spoke to Opal Grinder, manager of the establishment. "Your aircraft sure fly low around here," he said. An "airplane," he went on, "almost took the roof off our car" just minutes before. They had been on the south side of town, driving north on Highway 85, north of the airport, and within sight of a junkyard when they saw the aircraft. The man told Grinder that the craft apparently was in trouble because at the same time he had seen a police car pull off the main road and travel up a hill along the flight path. When Grinder suggested he had seen a helicopter, the man replied that if that was so, it was certainly a funny-looking helicopter. It was only two days later, when Grinder heard of Zamora's encounter, that he understood that his customer had independently witnessed Zamora's UFO. The man had paid in cash, so there was no credit-card receipt with which to trace him. Grinder's son Jimmy thought he recalled that the car had a Colorado license plate. Though Zamora's experience would be widely publicized, these witnesses have never stepped forward to identify themselves.

In his book on the case, Socorro Saucer, Ray Stanford mentions a phone call an Albuquerque television station took just before 5:30 p.m. The caller claimed to have just seen an egg, or oval-shaped UFO traveling southward at a speed compared to that of an ordinary propeller-driven aircraft. Stanford speculates that this was the UFO, also reported as relatively slow-moving, that Zamora would see less than half an hour later (Socorro is 70 miles straight south of Albuquerque).

Stanford also mentions a meeting with two women who lived on the south side of Socorro and who claimed to have heard the roaring sound associated with the object, though they did not see the object itself. The women said that many other residents of the area had also heard the sounds, and someone in the sheriff's department told Stanford the same thing. He did not interview any of these other witnesses, however.

There were still more witnesses, according to information that would surface years later when the individuals involved could no longer be traced. In a 1995 interview, Ted Jordan recalled a sighting related to him by Robert Dusenberry, who worked for the Socorro Electric Corporation. Dusenberry said he and two other men had been traveling in a car near the landing site when they witnessed what apparently was the UFOs departure. Dusenberry kept his experience to himself and later related it to Jordan, a friend.

Sometime between 8 and 8:30 p.m. a master sergeant driving south from Stallion Range Center, the up-range (northern) station of the White Sands Missile Range, spotted a light-blue glow tipped with orange at the bottom. It was in the mountains some miles to his west from his location near Las Cruces. When the glow intensified, his car engine died, and the electrical system failed. The sergeant, a master mechanic who was in charge of the center's vehicle-repair shop, was startled; he had made sure the car was in perfect operating condition before he left. He stepped out of the car and watched the glow for a short time before it faded out. As it did so, the car started again. When he got to the main station, he had the car carefully checked. There was nothing wrong with it.

The witness was some miles southeast of Socorro. The glow, which arguably could have been from the bluish "cone of flame" Zamora first saw (as, apparently, did others), was situated in the mountains to the southwest of Socorro - the direction it was going when Zamora lost sight of it. It is possible, in other words, that the sergeant observed the same UFO.

Investigations

When Zamora and Chavez arrived at the state police station early that evening, Zamora spoke briefly with FBI agent Arthur Byrnes, Jr., who had heard about the incident over the police radio. Just after 7 o'clock Byrnes contacted White Sands, and the officer who took the call immediately notified Army Captain Richard T. Holder, commander of the up-range station. Holder, 28, was the senior military officer in the immediate area.

Within a few minutes, Holder and Byrnes were talking directly, and Holder headed for police headquarters, where he and Byrnes interviewed Zamora. Soon they and several Socorro police officers were at the site. After studying the area, the group returned to the station. At that point dispatcher Lopez mentioned that approximately three reports had come over the phone from locals who said they had seen a blue flame of light in the area. These sightings occurred, he said, around the time of Zamora's encounter. Unfortunately, he did not enter the reports in the dispatcher's log. Holder subsequently told the Socorro newspaper, "After being appraised of the situation, I attempted to determine whether White Sands Missile Range or Holloman Air Force Base had anything that might produce the conditions described. Neither had an object that would compare to the object described. There was no known firing mission in progress at the time of the occurrence that would produce the conditions reported."

That evening Holder called in military policemen from the Stallion station. Working by flashlight, they roped off the site, took measurements, and collected samples. Holder would recall, "I saw rocks that were normal on one side and charred on the other. There were bushes alive on one side, but when you'd touch them, the other side would flake to ash. When an object blasts off by rocket or jet propulsion, there's usually damage or debris in the area. But there was no indication of that type of disturbance." Holder also noticed that the geometric pattern of the "footprints" was "very similar to the geometric pattern of the vehicular prints. They were some distance from the object, about the size of a footprint that a bigfooted teenager would make.

The next morning Holder was surprised to get a call from a colonel who said he was phoning from the war room of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. He wanted to know if Holder had prepared a report on the incident. When he said he had, he was ordered to read it into the scrambler. He had just begun to do so when the connection was broken. Still wondering what he, a young captain at a remote post, was doing talking with someone in such a high position in the national-security establishment, Holder phoned the war room, spoke again with the colonel, and then got reconnected onto the scrambler, Years later he was still wondering, "Why in the world were they so interested?"

The publicity, which would be massive once the story hit the press wires, started hours later, and over the next couple of days, many hundreds of curiosity-seekers had descended on the site, wiping out much of the surviving physical evidence. On Sunday, the twenty-sixth, Jim and Coral Lorenzen, directors of the Tucson-based Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO), were in Socorro. So were T/Sgt. David Moody of Project Blue Book and Kirtland AFB UFO-reporting officer Major William Conner. Moody and Conner checked the area for radioactivity and detected nothing unusual. They also failed to uncover any radar confirmation of the object's passing. This was not significant. Because it was a Friday evening, the radars at Stallion - used for testing purposes, not for air defense - were off. Even had they been on, it would have been extremely difficult to track an object moving against a mountain background.

On Tuesday, April 28, Stanford arrived to investigate the case for the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP). Early that afternoon Blue Book scientific consultant and Northwestern University astronomer J.Allen Hynek boarded a plane for New Mexico two hours after getting a call from the project's commanding officer, Captain Hector Quintanilla.

Hynek, who had been associated with Air Force UFO projects since the late 1940s, was growing increasingly disenchanted with what he saw as the inept handling of the phenomenon. Ironically, Hynek, along with one of his graduate students, had been at Blue Book headquarters at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio, visiting Quintanilla at the very moment - unknown, of course, to any of them - Zamora's encounter was taking place. The graduate student, Jacques Vallee, had been actively encouraging the older man to take a fresh look at the UFO evidence and to distance himself from the Air Force's negative party line. By now the traditionally cautious Hynek was receptive not only to Vallee's entreaties but to the Socorro event, which appeared to be an unusually promising and evidential UFO case.

In a private memorandum written on May 20, Hynek expressed his disdain for the situation at Blue Book. "The Air Force is in a spot over Socorro," he noted. Quintanilla was trying to evade congressional pressure by offering a "vague statement identifying the object as an unspecified U.S. experimental aircraft," but in Hynek's estimation that "won't go down... The AF doesn't know what science is."

Arriving at the Albuquerque airport at mid-afternoon, Hynek was met by Major Conner. On the drive to Socorro, the Air Force vehicle got a flat tyre. It had no jack, so Hynek was forced to hitchhike the rest of the way. The symbolism of this seems a little too perfect. Hynek was happy to get there "before the AF people." According to the memo:

"Found Zamora & Chavez were very anti-AF. I got rid of the AF people & got the story from them that night at the jail. (A slow process - they were not eager to talk at first.) The next morning we went & reenacted it at the spot. A NICAP person (Ray Stanford) was already there & lent me some bottles for taking specimens. I had brought nothing. Z. is an unimaginative cop of an old Socorro family, incapable of hoax, and pretty sore at being regarded as a romancer. It took at least 1/2 an hour to thaw him out...

The marks left on the ground: 4 rectangular scrapings as if a rectangular object had scraped along, digging into the ground - deeper at the end. The gouging was done away from the center in every case. The arrangement was not regular, but the diagonals were perfectly at right angles. When I was there this had been all tromped up in spite of a wall of stones that a Captain Holder, an Army "downrange officer," had carefully built around them.

Still, Hynek was impressed. "I think this case may be the 'Rosetta Stone'," he concluded. "There's never been a strong case with so unimpeachable a witness."

Investigations and Theories

On June 8 the Air Force issued an official two-page report on the case. The document, riddled with error, starts with the false claim that at the initiation of the sighting Zamora was going "north on US 85" when in fact he was going south on Park Street west of the highway. The report said the Blue Book investigation had determined the following:

  • No other witnesses to the object reported by Mr Zamora could be located.

  • There were no unidentified helicopters or aircraft in the area

  • Observers at radar installations had observed no unusual or unidentified blips.

  • There was no unusual meteorological activity; no thunderstorms. The weather was windy but clear.

  • There was no evidence of markings of any sort in the area other than the shallow depressions at the location where Mr Zamora reported sighting the object.

  • Laboratory analysis of soil samples disclosed no foreign material or radiation above normal for the surrounding area.

  • Laboratory analysis of the burned brush showed no chemicals that would indicate a type of propellant.

  • There was no evidence presented that the object was extraterrestrial in origin or represented a threat to the security of the United States.

  • The Air Force is continuing its investigation and the case is still open.

Where the alleged absence of other witnesses was concerned, Blue Book spoke with no real authority. Hynek would write that he had tried his best to persuade project personnel to conduct a search for possible witnesses, including the one with whom Opal Grinder claimed to have spoken, but "they evinced no interest whatsoever."

Hynek returned to Socorro on August 15 and again on March 12-13, 1965, but learned nothing new or significant. Most people, including Sergeant Chavez, now thought the object was a secret experimental device, a view that over the years would hold favor among those who could not accept the idea that Zamora had encountered an extraterrestrial spacecraft. (Zamora, reluctant to talk further, expressed no opinion.) Hynek found only one Socorro resident who considered Zamora, otherwise regarded as a man of upstanding character, a hoaxer. Felix Phillips, who lived about a thousand feet south of the landing site, reported that neither he nor his wife had heard the booming sounds Zamora described; therefore they doubted Zamora's veracity. Hynek was skeptical, however. As he wrote in an official memo on the trip:

"Phillips was directly downwind from the gully, there was a very strong southwest wind blowing, and the gully is on the opposite side of the hill from where Phillips was listening. This, of course, can make a tremendous difference in ability to hear. Further, there are trucks passing along the highway quite close to Phillip's house, and he undoubtedly is used to hearing backfires and truck roars of one sort or another."

No evidence of a hoax would ever emerge. Even Blue Book chief Quintanilla, writing in the classified CIA journal Studies in Intelligence, offered this endorsement of the case:

"There is no doubt that Lonnie Zamora saw an object which left quite an impression on him. There is no question about Zamora's reliability. He is a serious police officer, a pillar of his church, and a man well versed in recognizing airborne vehicles in his area. He is puzzled by what he saw and frankly, so are we. This is the best-documented case on record, and still, we have been unable, in spite of thorough investigation, to find the vehicle or other stimulus that scared Zamora to the point of panic."

Quintanilla was not endorsing the extraterrestrial interpretation, but he did not doubt that the officer had seen some sort of unusual aircraft. (Years later, however, in a memoir of his Blue Book years, Quintanilla, lamenting his inability to solve the case and the use "UFO buffs and hobby clubs" had made of the fact, intimated - without bringing any new or relevant information in the discussion - that Zamora had faked the sighting.)

The absence of evidence for a hoax did not discourage two UFO debunkers from proposing separate versions of a hoax hypothesis. In a letter to Hynek, Harvard University astronomer Donald H. Menzel outlined an elaborate scenario in which local high school students, using a balloon and various chemicals, "planned the whole business to 'get' Zamora." Hynek found no enthusiasm for this hypothesis among Socorro citizens to whom he showed the letter. In June 1970, debating ufologist Raymond E. Fowler on a Boston television show, Menzel opined that Zamora had seen a "dust devil."

Drawing on innuendo rather than on specific evidence, Philip J. Klass speculated that Zamora had conspired with Mayor Holm Bursum, Jr. (who owned the property on which the UFO landing reportedly occurred), to manufacture a UFO incident to attract tourists to the town. No such commercial exploitation ever took place, and there is no reason to take Klass's theory seriously. In an earlier interpretation, Klass had Zamora seeing an extraordinary plasma phenomenon associated with a nearby high-voltage transmission line.

Other Incidents

The Socorro event was not an isolated occurrence but only the most-publicized of a wave that began in the Southwest and soon spread throughout the country. At 9 p.m. on April 22, a car driving 10 or 15 miles east of Lordsburg, New Mexico, was paced by a large round light, as brilliant as a welder's torch and consisting of numerous lenslike lights. As it passed about 10 feet over the top of the car, it illuminated the interior of the vehicle and emitted a whirring, whining sound. The UFO then rose but maintained its course on the highway. Finally, it veered toward the north and was lost to sight. The sighting lasted no more than two or three minutes.

On the morning of the twenty-fifth, eighty miles southeast of Socorro, J.D. Hatch of Roswell was driving on U.S. 70 between Mescalero and Tularosa when a bright oval object descended from the sky and seemed to land on the other side of Round Mountain, east of Tularosa. That evening two motorists driving between Abiquiu and Espanola on U.S. 84, in north-central New Mexico (Socorro is in the west-central part of the state) reported that a strange object, definitely not a plane, flew straight toward their car before shooting away. All they could see of it was a blue-flamed jet stream.

None of these reports received the attention or extensive investigation the Socorro report received. This neglect is particularly unfortunate in the case of Orlando Gallegos, a 35-year-old Santa Fe resident who had an odd encounter while he and his family were visiting his father's ranch just north of La Madera, a remote community a few miles north of the just-mentioned U.S. 84 sighting location and 170 miles north of Socorro. At 1 a.m. on the twenty-sixth, Gallegos stepped outside to chase away some horses that had run into the yard. This accomplished, he happened to look out toward the Vallecitos creek bank some 300 yards away. There, resting on a spot between a dumping area and a dirt road, he saw a peculiar structure.

It looked like a butane tank "as long as a telephone pole." It was metallic, windowless, about 14 feet in diameter, and shooting blue flames out of holes in the sides along the bottom. Over the next minute, the flame suddenly died out. At no time did the object make any sound. When he went inside to report it, he was laughed at. Finally, he went to bed, and when he checked in the morning, the object was gone.

Before leaving La Madera that afternoon, Gallegos told City Officer Nick Naranjo about the incident and soon was telling his story to State Police Officers Marvin Romero and David Kingsbury. They, in turn, notified State Police Captain Martin E. Vigil, who dispatched another officer, Albert Vega, to the site. At 7:30 p.m. Vigil and Kingsbury joined him there. Vigil would recall:

"At that time, the ground was still smouldering and badly scorched. Officer Vega advised that he had observed four depressions on the ground, one of which was quite clear, the others having been obliterated due to windy weather conditions. Officer Vega stated that this depression was approximately eight by twelve inches in size, about three or four inches deep, and sort of "V" shaped at the bottom.

There were also numerous oval-shaped, or "cat-paw like", markings around the scorched area. These were approximately three and one-half inches in diameter."

Vigil saw to it that Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, and the FBI heard about the incident. So did Major William Conner, who had also been involved in the Air Force investigation at Socorro. On the twenty-seventh Conner went to the site with Gallegos. The same day Santa Fe new Mexican reporter Doyle Akers examined the spot, which he described as follows:

"At the scene itself, the charred area was a peculiar shape, like two overlapping circles. It was about 20 feet across. Large rocks within the area showed evidence of extreme heat, while others within a few feet weren't damaged at all. A soft drink bottle had melted while another five feet away was intact. An attempt to set fire to chamisa brush nearby failed."

Vega recalled that late the previous evening he had sent a group of drunken young people home from a dance in nearby Ojo Caliente. They would have passed by the La Madera site, but when Vega asked them, they said they had seen nothing out of the ordinary. When he himself first came to the spot, it was still smoking. "That area just wouldn't start burning from a match or a cigarette," Vega said. "You'd have to have some kind of gasoline or chemical to make it burn like that. But I don't think anybody would be out starting a fire a 1 o'clock in the morning."

Blue Book explained the incident as having been occasioned by a fire set in the dumping ground. Its investigation was cursory, and Hynek, who was interested in the case, was refused authorization to go to La Madera. In 1970, a United Press International dispatch quoted Emilio Naranjo, who in April 1964 had been Rio Arriba County sheriff, as asserting, "Our investigation showed that three or four young boys had been washing a car at the river and started a fire to burn the rags they had used. That was the flying saucer Gallegos saw." Nothing in Gallegos's testimony or in the reports of those who saw the physical evidence the next day provides much support for this claim.

It is tempting to link the La Madera blue-flame-spewing object with the UFO seen not far away and just two hours earlier. Unfortunately, the absence of a comprehensive investigation leaves this potentially significant case in limbo.

Bob Dean is a former member of NATO intelligence, high-ranking military man, who has been involved in major UFO research. Today, already retired, he decided to divulge everything he knows to the world. In his newest video, Bob Dean showed images of an alien object about 3200 km long near the planet Saturn in 1980.

A former NASA engineer turned whistleblower, who has claimed that NASA has known about the existence of extraterrestrial life for decades, recently released a video of a long spacecraft. The video has sparked speculation and conspiracy theories amongst viewers.

Recent leaked Russian space program files clearly show the same object as described in 1980.

Robert Dean explains: “In September 2009, the Cassini spacecraft photographed what NASA calls an anomaly, a strange object that they believe moved at will under the control of an intelligence, was metallic and magnetic. It was determined that the ‘object’ measured about 3200 km in length by 800 km in diameter.”

Cassini–Huygens
The Cassini–Huygens space-research mission (/kəˈsiːni ˈhɔɪɡənz/ kə-SEE-nee HOY-gənz), commonly called Cassini, involved a collaboration among NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) to send a space probe to study the planet Saturn and its system, including its rings and natural satellites. The Flagship-class robotic spacecraft comprised both NASA’s Cassini space probe and ESA’s Huygens lander, which landed on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan.[7] Cassini was the fourth space probe to visit Saturn and the first to enter its orbit, where it stayed from 2004 to 2017. The two craft took their names from the astronomers Giovanni Cassini and Christiaan Huygens.

Launched aboard a Titan IVB/Centaur on October 15, 1997, Cassini was active in space for nearly 20 years, with 13 years spent orbiting Saturn and studying the planet and its system after entering orbit on July 1, 2004.[8] The voyage to Saturn included flybys of Venus (April 1998 and July 1999), Earth (August 1999), the asteroid 2685 Masursky, and Jupiter (December 2000). The mission ended on September 15, 2017, when Cassini’s trajectory took it into Saturn’s upper atmosphere and it burned up[9][10] in order to prevent any risk of contaminating Saturn’s moons, which might have offered habitable environments to stowaway terrestrial microbes on the spacecraft.[11][12] The mission was successful beyond expectations – NASA’s Planetary Science Division Director, Jim Green, described Cassini-Huygens as a “mission of firsts”[13] that has revolutionized human understanding of the Saturn system, including its moons and rings, and our understanding of where life might be found in the Solar System.[citation needed]

Cassini‘s planners originally scheduled a mission of four years, from June 2004 to May 2008. The mission was extended for another two years until September 2010, branded the Cassini Equinox Mission. The mission was extended a second and final time with the Cassini Solstice Mission, lasting another seven years until September 15, 2017, on which date Cassini was de-orbited to burn up in Saturn’s upper atmosphere.

The Huygens module travelled with Cassini until its separation from the probe on December 25, 2004; Huygens landed by parachute on Titan on January 14, 2005. It returned data to Earth for around 90 minutes, using the orbiter as a relay. This was the first landing ever accomplished in the outer Solar System and the first landing on a moon other than Earth’s Moon.

The Controversial Book of Enoch! — Expert Uncovers the Truth! July 2022

Enoch appears in the Book of Genesis of the Hebrew Bible and is a figure in the Generations of Adam. Enoch is the son of Jared, the father of Methuselah, and the great-grandfather of Noah. Enoch lived 365 years before he was taken by God, which is a small amount of time compared to his offspring Methuselah, who lived to be 969 years old. The text reads that Enoch “walked with God: and he was no more; for God took him”. This Enoch is not to be confused with Cain’s son Enoch. The Christian New Testament has three references to Enoch from the lineage of Seth.

Patrol robot dog seems to become reality

Patrol robot dog seems to become reality

Alexander Atamanov uploaded a video showing some sort of robot-dog with a machine gun on top of its body.
Patrol%20robot%20dog.jpg

The robot moves around and shoots a series of bullets at various targets.
And although its design looks like it comes straight out of a sci-fi thriller, the patrol robot dog seems to become reality.
The question is whether the Boston Dynamics robot dog will be deployed in war zones or whether to restrain the masses on the street.

An Astronaut Controlled a Rover as it Collected Samples on Mt Etna. In the Future, it’ll be on the Moon

An Astronaut Controlled a Rover as it Collected Samples on Mt Etna. In the Future, it’ll be on the Moon

Lunar exploration has been gaining more and more traction from various sources recently. Every step forward is another towards potentially having a permanent human presence on another solar system body. ESA took another step recently with the completion of its Analog-1 robotics test, which took place successfully on the slopes of Mt Etna earlier this month.

Analog-1 has been a long-standing ESA effort to model what it would be like for a human operator to control a robot directly on the lunar surface while floating above it in the Gateway space station. Planned for launch no earlier than 2024 as part of the Artemis program, Gateway will serve as a home base for many lunar exploration activities.

UT video on lunar rovers past and present.

Controlling a robot from that far away isn’t easy and something that both the robot designers and its operators must get used to. Hence, the development of the Analog-1 project. ESA began its effort to develop a robotic interface system over ten years ago and has slowly been improving its capabilities during that time. The recent test marks a culmination of that effort, and the space agency is rightfully proud of its success.

There were several novel aspects of this new test. One of the most obvious is that the operator and mission control personnel were physically about 23 kilometers away from the robot while guiding it. They were put up in separate hotel rooms meant to mimic the actual environments they would be situated in during a real mission. In addition, the system’s programmers introduced a one-second delay to simulate the delay operators on the Gateway would have while driving a rover on the surface.

In addition, the robot designers implemented a haptic feedback system that allowed Thomas Reiter, one of ESA’s astronauts, to “feel” what the robot was feeling with its actuator arm. But the “Interact” rover, which had the actuator arm and was used to collect samples, was only one of a team of robots, including a drone, a “centipede-like” Scout crawler, and two other Lightweight Rover Units (LRUs), which look like miniaturized versions of the NASA rovers currently exploring Mars, and were designed by DLR – Germany’s space agency.

Additional support was provided by a lander, which served as a communications hub for the fleet of robots being tested. It was a good thing that such a wide variety of robots was available – navigating Mt Etna’s lunar-analog landscape proved tricky for Interact’s standard four-wheel configuration, but other locomotion techniques, such as the Scout’s crawling motion. That difficulty led to a change in approach by the robot’s programmers. They introduced a type of “assisted driving” feature for the robot’s operators that allowed the driver to simply select where he wanted to go, and then the robot itself would find its way there using its own judgment.

Features like that will be absolutely critical on future lunar missions, especially as driver fatigue could significantly affect how long a rover can remain operational. There are sure to be plenty more problems that will have to be overcome if the overall Artemis project is to succeed, not to mention getting the crew capsule off the ground at some point. But for now, this part of the robotic exploration of the moon has taken a giant leap forward.

A Mission to Reach the Solar Gravitational Lens in 30 Years

A Mission to Reach the Solar Gravitational Lens in 30 Years

NASA’s Institute for Advanced Concepts is famous for supporting outlandish ideas in the astronomy and space exploration fields. Since being re-established in 2011, the institute has supported a wide variety of projects as part of its three-phase program. However, so far, only three projects have gone on to receive Phase III funding. And one of those just released a white paper describing a mission to get a telescope that could effectively see biosignatures on nearby exoplanets by utilizing the gravitational lens of our own Sun.

That Phase III distinction comes with $2 million in funding, which in the case went to JPL, whose scientist, Slava Turyshev, was the principal investigator on the project’s first two phases. He teamed up with The Aerospace corporation for this latest white paper, which describes a mission concept in more detail and defines what technologies already exist and what needs further development.

However, there are several striking features of this mission design, one of which is touched on in detail over at Centauri Dreams. Instead of launching a large craft that would take a long time to travel anywhere, the proposed mission would launch several small cube-sats and then self-assembly on the 25-year journey out the solar gravitational lens (SGL) point.

That “point” is actually a straight line between whatever star the exoplanet is around and somewhere between 550-1000 AU on the other side of the Sun. That is a tremendous distance, much further than the measly 156 AU that Voyager 1 has so far taken 44 years to traverse. So how could a spacecraft get to three times the distance while taking almost half the time? Simple – it will dive (almost) into the Sun.

Using a gravitational boost from the Sun is a tried and true method. The fastest human-made object ever, the Parker Solar Probe, used just such a technique. However, being boosted to 25 AU a year, the expected speed at which this mission would have to travel isn’t easy. And it would be even more challenging for a fleet of ships rather than just a single one.

The first problem would be material – solar sails, which are the mission’s preferred method of propulsion, don’t do so well when subjected to the intensity of the Sun that would be required for a gravitational slingshot. In addition, the electronics on the system would have to be much more radiation hardened than currently existing tech. However, both of these known problems have potential solutions under active research.

Another seemingly obvious problem would be how to coordinate a passage of multiple satellites through this sort of gut-wrenching gravitational maneuver and still allow them to coordinate joining up to effectively form a fully functional spacecraft in the end. But according to the paper’s authors, there will be more than enough time on the 25-year journey out to the observational point to actively rejoin the single Cubesats into a cohesive whole.

What could result from that cohesive whole is a better image of an exoplanet that humanity is likely to get short of a fully-fledged interstellar mission. Which exoplanet would be the best candidate would be a topic of hot debate if the mission moves forward, as more than 50 so far have been found in the habitable zones of their stars. But that is certainly no guarantee as yet. The mission hasn’t received any funding nor any indication that it will do so in the near future. And plenty of technologies would still have to be developed before such a mission would even be feasible.

But that is precisely how such missions always start, and this one has more potential impact than most. With luck, at some point in the next few decades, we would receive as crisp of an image of a potentially habitable exoplanet as we are likely to receive in the even medium future. The team behind this research deserves praise for laying the groundwork for such an idea in the first place.

Researchers Create a Plasma Bubble With Lasers That Could Provide Propulsion or an Artificial Magnetosphere

Researchers Create a Plasma Bubble With Lasers That Could Provide Propulsion or an Artificial Magnetosphere

Lasers are useful for a lot of things. They made CDs work (when they were still a thing). They also provide hours of entertainment for cats (and their humans). But they can also create magnetic conditions similar to the surface of the Sun in a lab, according to new research by scientists at Osaka University. And that might help a wide range of other scientific disciplines, ranging from solar astronomy to fusion.

The experiment used a high-power laser, known as Gekko XII, at the Institute of Laser Engineering at Osaka University. Originally designed for fusion experiments, this laser is powerful enough to vaporize a piece of plastic if it is focused on it. Or, more accurately, it is powerful enough to turn it into a plasma.

That is just what the researchers did. They zapped a small piece of plastic with Gekko XII that sat on top of a magnet emitting a weak magnetic field. The laser blast, which only lasted for about 500 picoseconds, created a high-energy plasma that distorts an already weak magnetic field over the sample. That combination of a weak magnetic field and plasma created a situation known as a “pure electron outflow.”

UT video discussing building an artificial magnetosphere.

This phenomenon is thought to play a significant role in other, much larger astrophysical phenomena, such as solar flares and magnetic storms on the Sun’s surface. In these larger-scale instances, the electron dynamics of the area create what is known as a magnetic reconnection, where the magnetic field of a feature connects back with the base magnetic connection of the body it is emanating from.

Recreating these features at a small scale in the lab has never been done before, but the researchers at Osaka think that their electron outflow created by the combination of a magnet and the laser-induced plasma might be the closest thing that we will have to being able to study these phenomena on Earth.

Scaling down solar physics level phenomena to a more manageable size is undoubtedly a step in the right direction, but pure electron flow is also helpful in other areas. As mentioned above, Gekko was initially designed to work on inertial confinement fusion, which a better understanding of microscopic level electron dynamics might help to control.

Another UT video discussing artificial magnetospheres.

Overall, the experiment represents steps forward in understanding fundamental physics and applies to much more macroscale phenomena. It shows that lasers if leveraged correctly, are useful for much more than convincing your dog to run into a wall.

Guys, I found this depiction of a reptilian intelligent species made in a crater impact area on Earths moon. The reptilian looks intelligent, the teeth are so small I don't notice them, but its mouth is open, its tongue is huge and curved as if for speech. It has smaller upper arms and larger lower legs, but its thick tail really sets it apart. That tail really screams out reptilian species.

This is 100% proof that reptilians have been on Earths moon...which means they have been on Earth too! This also explains why reptiles rose up to rule the earth so long ago...they were an experiment created by the Reptilians to teach them about earliest evolution of themselves. Why did dinosaurs go extinct? Earth is shared by many different species...and any one species cannot bogart Earth for long. Humans...are not one species, but the DNA has been changed...to seem to be one species. We are many species...blacks, Asians, Indians, Whites, ect...each exists as its own species out there in space. The color of our skin did not arrive over a few thousands of years. Its from the stars. Earth is a giant experiment of evolution to learn from earliest points and to test...can different species exist together if combined earlier enough? I have found faces on other planets of each species and more existing that we don't have on Earth...there is a intelligent bear species and cat species even!

Porton Down – Area 51 base in UK? Or Is It Just Legends and Rumors?

Porton Down – Area 51 base in UK? Or Is It Just Legends and Rumors?

porton-down-area-51-1024x829.png

You might be wondering what we will talk about after reading the header above. It’s all about Porton Down, a fortified site in Wiltshire, England, which is rife with UFO ties. Here is some background information about the location after that. In 1916, the BB Down was founded. Biological and chemical weapons testing was done there.

On voluntarily participating personnel, nerve agents like Sarin and CS gas were tested. As an inducement to participate in testing, the military provided service members with around £2 and three days off. Few military personnel realized the purpose of their volunteer work, and some were even told it was to find a treatment for the common cold. Serviceman Ronald Maddison allegedly passed away in 1953 after taking part in a sarin gas experiment. Geoffrey Bacon, a scientist employed at Porton Down, passed away from the plague in 1962. LSD was tried in Porton Down as well. 20,000 people have participated in tests there since the conclusion of WWII. As the Guardian reported in 2005, “Fifty years ago, sailor Eric Gow had a baffling and unexplained experience. He recalls heading to a highly secretive military establishment, where he had been given something to consume in a sherry glass and experienced vivid dreams. Other servicemen also recall tripping: one thought he had seen tigers jumping out of a wall, while another recalled faces with eyes running down their cheeks. Mr. Gow and another military member had agreed to participate in what they believed to be studies looking for a treatment for the common cold. Mr. Gow believed that the administration had never given an explanation for what had transpired. But yesterday night, it was officially acknowledged to him that the spy organization MI6 had conducted LSD tests on personnel.

Something weird occurred in January 1974 in the Berwyn Mountains in Wales, United Kingdom. Some claim that a UFO crashed. Others propose a covert experiment that involves directing ball lightning and using it as a weapon. What about the Porton Down link and the UFO angle? The late Tony Dodd, a police officer, and UFO researcher had a meeting with a guy going by the name of James Prescott back in 1996. He informed Dodd that because his unit and barracks are still in use, he could not give their names. Prescott did, however, acknowledge that his base at the time was located in the southwest of England, which, measured by the distance traveled by a crow’s flight, may have put his installation close to Porton Down. Prescott and his colleagues were bizarrely instructed to be on “standby at short notice” on January 18 despite the event in the Berwyn Mountains occurring on January 23, 1974. The Berwyns was briefly featured in the national headlines five days after that. Prescott reported that they then got instructions to move swiftly in the direction of North Wales. They were stopped in Chester in anticipation of a military drill they thought was about to start. The message they received on January 20 was “hot.” They were given the go-ahead to travel to Llangollen in North Wales and wait there at around 20:13.

Roswell alien

Prescott said that three days prior to the ground shaking those little, historic communities at the foot of the mountains, there was a significant amount of “ground and aircraft activity” above and around those enormous mountains. According to Prescott, on the same night, he and his colleagues received more orders, such as to travel to Llandderfel, and were strictly instructed not to stop for any civilians. When they arrived in the little Welsh settlement of Llandderfel, they noticed troops running around. There were senior officials yelling instructions everywhere. Zooming over the starry sky was aircraft. And all of this was happening against a depressingly gloomy backdrop. Prescott and his coworkers quickly followed instructions to load two huge wooden crates onto the back of their vehicle. Prescott claims that they left with their load and stopped for a drink along the way. A guy in civilian clothing approached them right away and demanded to see their identification before telling them to keep going and not stop until they reached their destination.

Things started to become extremely strange when Prescott told Dodd that they had been advised not to open the boxes at this point but rather to travel to Porton Down and deliver them instead. The facility employees opened the boxes once they were inside in front of us. When they discovered two animals inside decontamination suits, they were horrified. The beings were not of this planet when the suits had been opened, and upon examination, they were discovered to be dead. His perspective on life was completely altered by what he discovered in the boxes that day. The humanoid-shaped bodies, which were between five and six feet tall and had a covering skin, were so thin that they almost seemed skeletal. Despite not having seen a craft at the recovery site, he was told that a sizable craft had crashed and been retrieved by other military personnel. Later, when they rejoined their unit, they learned that the other components had also sent bodies of “alien creatures” to Porton Down, but that their delivery was still breathing.

Continuing on but still with the same narrative, a guy by the name of Bob Bolton shared his memories of the Porton Down/James Prescott scandal. He had served as an aviation engineer in the Royal Air Force for thirty years. Between 1971 and 1974, he was sent to a number of locations, including RAF Honnington, RAF Valley in North Wales, and Akrotiri in Cyprus. His wife is from Corwen, as is her family. They were living up on the edge of the mountain when the incident with the Berwyns occurred, and her mother is still there now. A portion of the Berwyn range is Corwen. You’re talking about maybe a mile and a quarter away from where it all happened from where their house is if you go up the route that runs behind the houses up and then onto the top of the mountains; meaning it is relatively close.

His wife was still able to recall what transpired on the evening of January 23. During the Blitz, she claimed to have witnessed and heard planes being shot down; the sound, though similar to an aircraft falling down, was “louder, larger, and heavier than anything you could conceive to do with an airplane.” They were unsure of what it was. They immediately raced onto the road after hearing the noise. The entire neighborhood left as well. When the impact came, the houses shook and she had items fall from the mantelpiece in the house as the noise increased in volume despite their inability to see anything in the sky. He heard the tale of the dead discovered on the mountain from his wife’s father. Harold Smith was the man’s name. However, he went by Mick. He was a local councilor, worked full-time at Vauxhall at Elsmere Port, and also worked part-time as a sub-fire officer in Corwen. He told him that he certainly didn’t know about the event up on the Berwyn Mountains when they were discussing UFOs one day.

He told him the tale for the first time in about 1976. He said little more at the time, other than to state that bodies had been hauled down from the mountain. Nothing concerning who brought them down or the location of their capture. But while he was stationed in Germany from 1979 to 1982, Mick and his wife’s mother visited for a month, and it was during this time that he revealed a lot more to them. He recalls that the information he provided to them appeared to have come from a different member of the North Wales Fire Service whose son was in the Army. However, it is expected that he would have been informed: Mick was a well-liked individual who was familiar with many members of the North Wales Fire Service, especially those in Bala and Wrexham. While the police weren’t engaged, Mick informed him that the Army was – significantly. Although he informed them that he was unable to provide a precise date, it was unquestionably between 1979 and 1982 when they visited. He claimed that there were unquestionably Porton Down personnel present, that a lozenge-shaped device was lying on the slope, and that the dead had been transported to Porton from the location. His wife can still attest to the fact that Mick told her the Porton Down and body tale back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Mick claimed that when he originally shared this tale in 1976, he was unaware that the Army had really removed the dead from the mountain and sent them to Porton Down. Therefore, between 1976 and the time he visited them in Germany, he must have learned it.

Next, let’s discuss the relationship between Porton Down and the infamous Rendlesham Forest “UFO landing” incident of December 1980 and the late Georgina Bruni, who penned the book You Can’t Tell the People about the Rendlesham case. You Can’t Tell the People, Georgina’s Rendlesham novel, was already in progress in 1997. The book was released in November 2000. Georgina and I were two of a very tiny number of UFO enthusiasts in the UK who were actively and often looking into the connections between UFOs and Porton Down back in the late 1990s. As a result, they consented to silently and carefully communicate their data with one another. This included any new data that was discovered. And that’s how Georgina’s information on the Rendlesham tale reached them. As Georgina worked on the research for her book, she learned that a Porton Down crew had been sent deep into Rendlesham Forest in late December 1980. On a clandestine mission, they entered the woods while wearing full-body protective gear. The UFO researchers Georgina had confided in believed that the Porton Down team was there to attempt and piece together what took place over a period of those three nights and to check for any lingering biological or chemical dangers. The Rendlesham-Porton Down problem hasn’t progressed too far thus far. Hopefully, that happens someday.

Nick Pope's Missing Tollbooth experience part two -

Nick Pope's Missing Tollbooth experience part two - Please Share.
I'm sick of Nick Poop and I recently posted the full inside story on his own 'missing time' encounter in 1991 which he now of course denies. This is the follow up to that first part which I have been asked to post so here you are:
By Philip Mantle

Pretty much everyone in the UFO community will know of Nick Pope and his claims that from 1991-1994 he ran the UK governments ‘UFO PROJECT’, was the UK government’s ‘UFO expert’ and investigated UFOs, crop circles and alien abductions for the UK Ministry of Defence. These are his exact words from his own website:
“Nick Pope ran the British Government’s UFO project. From 1991 to 1994 he researched and investigated UFOs, alien abductions, crop circles and other strange phenomena, leading the media to call him the real Fox Mulder. Nick Pope ran the British Government’s UFO project. From 1991 to 1994 he researched and investigated UFOs, alien abductions, crop circles and other strange phenomena, leading the media to call him the real Fox Mulder. “
Let’s make things quite clear before we move on. According to the Ministry of Defence, Nick Pope’s previous employers, none of this is true. Below is one document from the UK National Archives which quickly puts the record straight. There are many other documents that once viewed can only leave one outcome is that The MoD are right and Nick Pope is not. He did none of these things.
Nick Pope claims that before he took this job at the MoD that he was a complete skeptic and that because of the UFO cases he ‘investigated’ etc he eventually became a believer. He claims he had no prior knowledge of experience of the UFO phenomenon.
In 2021 I wrote a lengthy article detailing that once again Nick Pope was using a very large degree of ‘artistic licence’ when he came to his claim that he had never seen a UFO or had any kind of close encounter. The fact was that in January 1991 before he took the job at the MoD’s ‘UFO desk’ (a nickname for Air Staff 2A – the MoD department that handled public reports and or requests for more info on UFO sighting. It was not a ‘UFO PROJECT’) he did indeed have a, missing time’ or more accurately a ‘missing tollbooth’ encounter in Florida, USA. The basic story is that Nick was on holiday with his girlfriend and was driving on toll road with another friend asleep in the back seat. After a while they apparently found themselves reaching their destination with no recollection of actually coming off the toll road. In fact they still had their ticket which they would have had to use in order to exit the toll road. Nick was very perplexed by this and several years later he underwent regressive hypnosis in the USA. Here he recounted getting out of the car and entering a large object (UFO) but did not see any beings or aliens.
Nick Pope admitted all of this to a group of UFO researchers in 1995 after a screening of the alien autopsy film in London. Other researchers have gone on the record that this story under his own name, was to appear in his first book ‘OPEN SKIES- CLOSED MINDS’ and UK author/UFO researcher Jenny Randles even read it in the first draft of the book. However when you read this book there is no sign of Nick’s missing time episode which happened in January 1991 a few months before joining the ‘UFO desk’. However, a few years down the line Nick Pope writes his second book ‘THE UNIVITED’ which deals with accounts of alien abductions and hey presto the story is there. Well not quite. Instead of it being Nick Pope and his former girlfriend it is now ‘Peter’ and ‘Jenny’. Pope claims these are false names for two witnesses that he interviewed and it is not him and his ex-girlfriend. All this despite what Jenny Randles read in the draft of his first book and the UFO researchers that Nick told the story to in 1995. He has made a variety of different comments about this but basically he says it was not him and it’s all a pack of lies.
Well in early 2022 another gentleman has stepped forward to once again confirm that he was informed by Nick Pope that he had indeed had a missing time experience in the USA in 1991. This man is even featured in Nick Pope’s second book ‘THE UNINVITED’, the very same book where Peter (Nick Pope) and Jenny (Nick’s girlfriend) tell their missing tollbooth story.
The man in question who has now stepped forward is Cris Martin and his girlfriend that is featured with him in ‘THE UNINVITED’ is Vaunda Hosick. Their accounts are featured in Chapter 13 under the heading of ‘INTERVIEW WITH THE ALIENS (page 205 – 221). Cris joined a discussion about Nick Pope of my facebook page and this is what he later sent me on email:
“Hi Philip. As per our earlier discussion, my statement below.
I first met Nick Pope on 1996 on the set of ITV studios morning daytime show "The Time, The Place". I was with my then partner Vaunda Hoscik. Nick was promoting his first book and was preparing for his next book and made it clear he was interested in interviewing us both for his next book "The Uninvited". We went to his flat in South London several times to be interviewed about our experiences and it was at one of these meetings he also chatted about his own abduction experience whilst driving in the USA with a female friend. He wrote about it under an assumed name in the very same book. He didn't want to come out as an abductee at the time as he felt it would undermine his reputation as an impartial researcher. We both respected his right for privacy and didn't speak of it again.
Moving forward 26 years and the contextual climate has shifted. Pope has set himself up as a leading UFO commentator and public speaker. He claims to be a trustworthy commentator but his stance on whether aliens are real remains ambiguous. This is in direct conflict with his own missing time encounter. My opinion is that he cannot lie to the public any longer and must come clean. Pope cannot be regarded as trustworthy when he continues to deny that this incident occurred. I would also like to say I have no axe to grind or any grudge against Mr Pope, I just want him to stop lying and tell the truth.
I can confirm that the details given are true to the best of my knowledge.
Cris Martin, Jan 2022.”

Philip Mantle I recently tried to contact Nick and was blanked by him for some reason. I used to know him quite well back in the 90s and some of you may remember myself and my then partner were featured in his book "The Uninvited". He also wrote the foreword to my book "Intruders in the night" published in 2000. He does not seem to want to talk about his own abduction experience for some reason. Comments I have made on his FB page about this have been deleted by him. If he would lie to people about this important event, then one must ask what else is he lying about?

Conclusion:
There is no doubt in my mind that Nick pope is indeed ‘Peter’ as featured in his book ‘THE UNINVITED’ and that he did indeed have a ‘missing time’ experience in January 1991 in Florida and later went under hypnotic regression There are many reasons why Nick Pope now wants to deny this is him, one being that it would make a mockery of him comments that he knew nothing about UFOs and had never had a UFO sighting prior to joining Air Staff 2A in July 1991. His story of being converted from skeptic to believer while working at the MoD would also go straight out of the window. As Cris Martin has made clear he has no axe to grind with Nick Pope and neither have I but the UFO community deserves the truth and the facts and it will be interesting to see what excuse Nick Pope comes up with this time regarding Cris Martin’s comments. To clarify where I stand I am 100% convinced that Nick Pope is indeed ‘Peter’ and he and his girlfriend did have a missing time experience in Florida in 1991. When you also look at the MoD documents at The National Archives there is also no doubt in my mind that Nick Pope did not run the UK governments UFO project as there never was one. He did not investigate UFOs, crop circles alien abductions etc on any official basis for the MoD and he was not the UK government’s UFO expert. And last but not least he is not anything remotely like ‘the real Fox Mulder’ he was instead, as the MoD have informed us, a junior D-grade civil servant and nothing more.
