Welcome to The LanguagePoint!

A couple of weeks ago you received an email from us about The LanguagePoint, our new online teacher community.

Well, it's now open for business at http://www.thelanguagepoint.com, and we’re inviting you take a look!

The site is a resource base by teachers, for teachers of all languages – we’ve started by stocking up on resources for English language teaching, but it’s not exclusive to one language, and we’ll be uploading resources in other languages over the coming months.

In addition, there’s a place for you to join in discussions or ask questions of other professionals who share your background, and connect with language teachers around the world.

We’ve put some resources on The LanguagePoint to get you started, but we’d love for you to share your own with us as well. If there’s something which works with your students and you think other teachers could make use of it too, then there’s a place to upload resources on the Resources page. In any language! We’re offering a prize each week for a featured resource which is uploaded to the site – take a look at our front page for details.

And it’s all free! You can browse the site to your heart’s content. If you want to upload or download resources, then you’ll need to register, but it doesn’t cost a thing. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to connect with other teachers, post on our forum, and give feedback on resources you’ve found useful.

The easiest thing is to head over to the site and take a look around or watch our introductory video.
