The LanguagePoint is a resource-sharing website for language teachers, with free downloadable teaching materials, lesson ideas and discussion forum.

If you teach English as a Foreign or Second Language, then The LanguagePoint has an ever-increasing bank of resources for you to use. At beginners level there are vocabulary-building resources on a range of topics, and for slightly more advanced learners, we have lots of song and video based ideas. Our excellent contributing practitioners have also provided a wealth of lesson ideas and discussion prompts for your learners.

For those who teach languages other than English, we’re beginning to add resources here too. Take a look at Harry Potter in German for example, or these topic-based sample questions for speaking practice in four different languages, including Spanish).
