This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

MUFON's mission is the analytical and scientific investigation of the UFO- Phenomenon for the benefit of humanity... Since 02/01/2020 is Pieter ex-president (=voorzitter) of BUFON, but also ex-National Director MUFON / Flanders and the Netherlands. We work together with the French MUFON Reseau MUFON/EUROP.

Impressive Alien Spacecraft Flying Around The Sun Caught On Camera

There is a lot of UFO activity around the sun. A video of the Sun before it set on Friday July 17, 2020 shows several alien spacecraft flying around the Sun.

Although images of UFOs near the sun are quite intriguing, still there are people suggesting they are nothing but pixelation, light reflections or camera glitches.
However if you look at these large objects, especially the two craft depicted in the images above, you clearly can see that they are constructed unidentified flying objects created by and possible piloted by a form of alien intelligence.

UFO spotted in India: Gurugram couple claim they caught one on cam

The alleged UFO was spotted in the skies of Gurgaon at around 5.00 am in the morning of July 20, 2020.

The alleged UFO incident happened at around 05.00 AM on July 20. Ashita Mishra (Name changed as per request) was shocked to see a disc-like object illuminated with lights hovering in the skies. Soon, she informed her husband Gaurav Mishra (Name changed as per request), and they filmed the event using their smartphones.

In an exclusive talk with the International Business Times, India edition, the eyewitness of the incident revealed that the UFO was disc-shaped, and also added that the object was sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller to their eyes.

    UFO Gurgaon

"The object was becoming bigger in size, and later smaller. Again the object changed shape. To make things clear, the object was triangular, no no, it's not triangular, it was a diamond-shaped disc. It was a full-fledged disc. My husband, after seeing the object suddenly asked me whether it was a space ship. Then, he started recording the incident. Finally, the flying object went under the cloud," said Ashita Mishra.

Ashita also added that she is actually waiting for the clouds to go away to check whether the unknown object is still there in the skies.

    Aliens or shooting stars?

Gaurav Mishra who witnessed the incident revealed that the UFO sighting was pretty weird, and added that the object did not have a trajectory, as it moved up and down.

"The thing is that it was a very shiny object, and it was moving very fast. So, you can say that it might be a morning star or nearby planet, but it moved really fast. It covered the entire spectrum which we are looking at, and that kind of movement is very strange. The object was routinely blinking. It was going up and down. It even moved across. Every now and then, it was flashing. We have seen stars twinkling, but in this case, the flashes were completely random," said Mishra.

New Research on the Mysterious Colorado Drone Fleets

Before the coronavirus took over the media, the biggest story of late 2019 and early 2020 was the fleets of mysterious drones flying in formation over a wide swatch of Colorado and occasionally crossing the borders into Nebraska and Wyoming (stories here and here and here). While there were numerous eyewitness reports with videos to back them up, the FAA and both local and federal agencies appeared to be at a loss to either find out who owned them or take any kind of drastic measures against them – spawning numerous conspiracy theories linking them to secret government equipment tests or secret government surveillance activities. The pandemic provided a cloud for these unexplained drones to hide in, but out of sight does not mean out of mind at The War Zone, which has dove deep into the files looking for answers and recently came up for air with some unusual fish … and more questions.

“Once the aerial activity stopped, it appears that both federal and state agencies quickly dropped the matter – I have not yet seen any evidence of a continuing federal investigation, although there are many documents still not released.”

Brett Tingley of The War Zone reviewed the hundreds of pages of documents obtained by Douglas D. Johnson, a volunteer UAP researcher, using the Freedom of Information Act. Johnson studied the documents himself first and provided his analysis that the investigation ended in early 2020 and has never resumes. He points out that leads to non-military explanations (pipeline surveyors, gas leak detectors, etc.) led to dead ends. One investigation led to the private drone firm DJI, which is headquartered in (get ready for this, conspiracy theorists) Shenzhen, China – the closest mainland city to Hong Kong, a hotbed of recent turmoil. The War Zone notes that the name “DJI” was redacted from the documents but showed up in an email banner.

“There always remains the real possibility that the drones could have been operated by a hostile actor, whether homegrown or foreign, or some rogue hobbyists with considerable resources.”

The world today has no shortage of hostile actors and, since the pandemic, has not hesitated to put blame on China, so either China is not linked to the Colorado drones in any way or the coverup of its activities is pretty thorough. If we assume the former, there are still plenty more hostile actors capable of controlling the fleets of drones for sinister activities or sinister tests in preparation for them. And yet … the actor has not been identified six months after the drones suddenly stopped flying. Nonetheless, The War Zone feels it accomplished something.

“While these documents provide an unprecedented view into the government’s response and its own apparent confusion surrounding these bizarre events, above all else they offer detailed and consistent descriptions from trained observers indicating that some kind of relatively advanced UAS operation was indeed underway over the central United States for a period of weeks last winter.”

As has been said by many about other unexplained events (think Roswell, Rendlesham, Nimitz), while no concrete explanation has been found, The War Zone is convinced that SOMETHING did happen in Colorado and “the federal government’s own agency tasked with regulating the skies over the United States still has no clue what exactly took place or who was behind it.“

Kudos to Brett Tingley and The War Zone for their in-depth analysis. If anything else comes up on these mysterious Colorado drones, they’ll probably be the first to expose it.

Senator Rubio Hopes UFOs/UAP Are Alien Aircraft, Not Chinese Planes

“We have things flying over our military bases and places where we’re conducting military exercises and we don’t know what it is and it isn’t ours. Frankly, if it’s something outside this planet that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some sort of technological leap from the Chinese or Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity. That to me is a national security risk and one we should be looking into.”

    Senator Marco Rubio

In a follow-up to his demand last month that the Director of National Intelligence produce a report detailing any and all information it and other agencies have on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), Senator Rubio recently sat down with CBS News reporter Jim DeFede, who asked Rubio the simple question “Are we alone?” and got a number of detailed surprise answers. (You can watch the video here.)

“I’ve seen reports on this now for the better part of a decade. Other countries have had similar reports and so, but for our perspective is, there is someone flying in the airspace that no one else is allowed to fly in and we don’t know who it is and it isn’t something we have. We need to know what that is.”

“Other countries have had similar reports …” is a key comment by Rubio – other governments, other militaries and other intelligence communities are just as puzzled as ours are … or at least as much as ours will say publicly. DeFede then asked Rubio for a ‘gut feel’ on the “Are we alone?” question again, and Rubio had this telling comment:

“If we can’t determine what it is, then that’s a fact.”

Unfortunately, the subject changed at that point, but the next question should have been: “How much longer do we attempt to identify them before admitting that they’re not from Earth?” Rubio says he’s been seeing these reports for a decade. Former Senator Harry Reid saw them for longer than that and started the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program in 2007, which spent five official years and at least five more unofficially studying UFOs and UAPs. This is a non-partisan issue – Reid is a Democrat and Rubio a Republican – and it’s a high profile one that doesn’t intimidate a possible Republican presidential candidate like Rubio, just as it didn’t intimidate the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. It’s an issue that hasn’t just accidentally crept into the mainstream media – CBS, The New York Times (which is rumored to be preparing another big revelation) and others are devoting extensive resources to covering it.

Is this really better than Chinese planes … or are they actually Chinese planes?

As the dots get more numerous and closer together, someone soon will be the first to cross the line and declare:

    “Then that’s a fact.”

What will your gut say then, Senator Rubio?

Ancient Rock Art Was Created By a Mysterious Culture

Researchers from the Israel Antiquities Authority and Tel-Hai College have found ancient rock art that was created by a mysterious culture.

Around Golan Heights and the Galilee area in Israel, several rock structures have been discovered that date back thousands of years. However, very little information is known about who created these structures that are called dolmens which are giant megalithic burial tombs with a huge flat stone that is laid on top of the ones that are upright. Thousands of these megalithic structures were constructed in the northern part of Israel and the wider region between 4,000 to 4,500 years ago during the Intermediate Bronze Era.

The rock art that the researchers discovered on four dolmens included geometric shapes, animals, and a human face. (A picture and a video can be seen here.) Professor Gonen Sharon, who is the head of the M.A. Program in Galilee Studies at Tel-Hai and who co-authored the paper, explained this further, “Several years ago, a panel of rock art engravings was discovered on the inner wall of a huge dolmen in a field surrounding Kibbutz Shamir.”

The chance discovery of lines carved into the boulders of an ancient tomb in what is now the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights could offer new insight into an enigmatic culture that thrived thousands of years ago.

(Not the dolmens mentioned in this article.)

In fact, the dolmen that was found near Kibbutz Shamir is the biggest one that has ever been found in the Middle East. Another interesting fact is that 14 tridents (three-pronged spears) were carved into the stone of its ceiling.

Sharon went on to say, “This was the first time rock art was documented in the context of dolmens in the Middle East. Following this discovery, we started a research project to locate and document dolmen art throughout the Land of Israel. We surveyed dozens of dolmens in Upper Galilee and the Golan in an attempt to uncover the world of this mysterious culture that existed more than 4000 years ago, and left behind only dolmens as evidence of their rich culture.”

A dolmen that was found in the Yehudiya Nature Reserve contained pictures of seven horned animals that were drawn on the walls of the burial chamber. Three of the animals were facing towards the east and three were facing west. Two of the animals – most likely a male and a female – were directly facing each other. The seventh horned animal was drawn in the inside part of one of the panels and was facing the other six animals. “It is clear that the way they are positioned meant something to the artist,” stated Uri Berger who is the other co-author of the paper.

Another example of a dolmen (not the ones mentioned in this article.)

The researchers are optimistic that the geometric shapes, animals, and human face drawings that were discovered in Kiryat Shmona will aid them in finding out more information on the mysterious culture that created them.

Berger finished off by stating, “To date, many dolmens were identified in Israel and in neighboring countries, but we knew almost nothing about the civilization of these super-builders beyond the remains of the enormous structures they left behind as evidence of their existence in the region.” “The engravings in the rock open a window, for the first time, to the culture behind the construction of these dolmens.”

The New York Times Appears to Be Preparing Another Huge UFO Revelation | Mysterious Universe

The New York Times Appears to Be Preparing Another Huge UFO Revelation

If the rumors circulating amongst the UFO research community are real, the New York Times may have to add a second motto: “All the ‘UFO News’ That’s Fit to Print.” After being the leader in breaking the USS Nimitz Tic Tac UFO videos and stories and the existence of the Pentagon’s secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a number of sites are dropping hints that The New York Times has another blockbuster revelation on the verge of being released to the public. What could it be? Get ready to be shocked / disappointed /overwhelmed /underwhelmed /other.

“I don’t know if you saw it, but in the last few hours an indiscretion has begun to circulate in the UFO world: that the New York Times is preparing to document the existence of a government program to recover crashed UFOs.”

UFO Hoje (UFO Today) dropped this news this morning, along with links indicating this rumor has been in play for some time. In early July, UFO Joe interviewed George Knapp about the aforementioned Wilson/Davis documents (about a 2002 meeting between astrophyscist, Eric Davis retired director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Admiral Thomas Wilson about the retrieval of crashed UFOs and re-engineering the technology) and the possibility of The New York Times releasing more information.

“There is no question whatsoever about whether the New York Times is working on a story related to crashes, crash retrievals, and what might have been done with recovered materials. Too many people have been contacted for this to remain a secret.”

He blamed the delay in the paper releasing on the massive amount of fact-checking its stories go through before being released. Anticipating skepticism from the conspiracy theorists on the second point, UFO Joe’s Joe Murgia followed up with an unnamed managing editor of a major media source who detailed the fact-checking apparatus media providers have, with the New York Times at the top with the most. Despite that, skeptical sites such as Bad UFOs point out that these rumors are being spread by relative newcomers (“newbies”) to the UFO research field who may not be doing the detailed research of the more well-known names who paved the way for them.

“And so now UFOlogy’s “Young Guns” are getting all excited about rumors that a major New York Times story is going to be published next week (beginning July 19, 2020) revealing the existence of government UFO crash retrieval teams or something equally dramatic.”

If this sounds a lot like posturing to you, you’re probably right. It’s what is done in lieu of presenting any actual evidence. As the website Vocal Media points out, “UFO” doesn’t mean you-know-what.

“It could be the expected uncovering of the Pandora’s box relating to extraterrestrial existence, although it should be emphasized that Ufo is not absolute and not even in the first instance synonymous with “alien”. Rather, we speak of a phenomenon that is difficult or impossible to catalog.”

True. Then again, we’re talking about The New York Times here, which has two blockbuster UFO revelations already notched in its belt — with well-documented, fact-checked evidence to back them up — and is obviously working to bring much-needed credibility to the UFO research field – something that the strictly UFO-related media has found difficult to accomplish.

    For now … we wait.

The Looming Death of the Rendlesham Forest UFO Affair: The Impact for Ufology

Just recently, and while chatting with a fellow UFO researcher on the subject of my latest book, The Rendlesham Forest UFO Conspiracy, a question was put to me that I have hardly ever been asked. And even on the very few occasions that it has been brought up, it has only been in passing. For the most part, I’m asked about the content of the book – which makes sense, of course. The question that I am rarely asked, however, goes something like this: if the Rendlesham Forest incident was a top secret experiment – rather than an alien encounter – what impact would that revelation have on the UFO research community? That’s a good question. So, with that said, I’ll share with you my views on what might happen to Ufology (and not just in the U.K.) if Rendlesham collapses as an E.T. event.

There are three issues that need to be addressed, and which I’ll come to further down this article. First and foremost (in my mind, at least) there’s the matter of government agencies using the UFO subject as a cover for highly-classified military operations. There are a number of cases on record that we should be very suspicious of when it comes to the matter of their validity as genuine UFO incidents. Take, for example, (a) the Antonio Villas Boas “alien abduction” of 1957 (which was almost certainly something akin to an early MK-Ultra-type experiment), (b) the Hickson-Parker alien abduction of October 1973, and (c) the strange story of the Flatwoods Monster of 1952. Check out those three links above. Strong cases can be made for all of those incidents having been the top secret work of governments, not aliens.

If those three cases above were fabricated to look like UFO events (to test new military technologies and for psychological warfare purposes), then why couldn’t that be the case for the incidents that occurred in Rendlesham Forest in December 1980, too? As I see it, it could. Very easily. And, significantly the threads are all there, too. The problem, however, is that so many people in the UFO field don’t want their favorite and famous cases crushed and revealed as something non-extraterrestrial. Too bad. In other words, and to a degree, certain figures in Ufology – and particularly so in the field of Rendlesham case – want aliens. What they don’t want are mind-altering technologies and holograms – which are at the heart of the story my book tells. My book has been selling nicely. The feedback from the readers, however, has mostly been like this: that I was fed a bunch of disinformation by intelligence agents, or that I sold out to the likes of the New World Order. Neither scenario is correct: I simply followed the trail and came to a grounded, non-alien-themed conclusion. Why do so many people want extraterrestrials? Because it makes the story exciting, vindicates their research and – most important of all – helps to bolster their belief-systems. And that’s the big problem. No one in UFO/Rendlesham research should be wanting this or wanting that. Or believing this or believing that. There should only be a search for answers, wherever they take us. Unfortunately, on so many occasions I see people who adhere to those famous words of The X-Files: “I want to believe.” Anyone who yearns for ETs, rather than goes where the evidence takes them, is a fool.

When the Rendlesham Forest saga took place in 1980, I was still at school. And still as a teenager in 1984 when the first book on the case was published (Sky Crash, written by Brenda Butler, Dot Street and Jenny Randles), I was sure that aliens came down on those December 1980 nights. Over time, however, my views changed – and, finally, to a significant degree. And, I’ll tell you something interesting on that issue of minds changing: a lot of people in Ufology don’t like it when you alter your views. I saw that when I wrote my 2017 book, The Roswell UFO Conspiracy – which also places a famous case (in fact, the most famous case) in the “secret experiment” category. Arms-folded, defensive stances, and “I don’t want to know”-type comments were the order of the day. So, if Rendlesham does collapse as a UFO event (and I’m sure it will in the near future – because yet another book on the “secret experiment” situation is on its way), the first issue, within Ufology, will be absolute denial. That will quickly be followed by widespread pissing in pants and by coming out in rashes.

As for the second issue, well, that goes back to what I said about those three, famous cases I referred to above. When the shit hits the fan, and when Rendlesham goes belly-up, Ufology – as a community – will finally have to come to a shocking realization. It will have to accept that government agencies have totally used and exploited the real UFO phenomenon as a means to secretly test sophisticated technology on unwitting people – including using military personnel. And on more than a few occasions, too. I’m pretty certain that as the UFOs go away, and as the “secret experiments” come more and more to the forefront, we’ll see numerous people quit the scene. Why? Because, again, most people in Ufology actually don’t want down-to-earth answers (even if they are controversial); they want aliens. Some of them need aliens. Like some people need a god.

The third issue? Well, I would say that would be the effect on Ufology – and on Rendlesham – as a business. I’m sure that when the 40th anniversary of Rendlesham comes around in December of this year, there will be a great deal of publicity, media coverage, and the reprinting of old books on the incident (with new forewords and new introductions added to make the books appear somehow new and still relevant). And, when December 2020 comes closer and closer, I’m also sure that most of the coverage will be focused on extraterrestrials. Why? It’s all very simple: that’s what people want. If Rendlesham does collapse, I’m positive that everything that goes along with it – TV shows, lectures, conferences, books etc. – will also come to an end. But, that’s not the most important thing. The most important thing is that we’ll have the answer – even if the answer amounts to one of Ufology’s worst nightmares. Namely, zero aliens in Rendlesham Forest. And I hope that Ufology will be able to cope with that. Even accept it. But, should I hold my breath? Fuck, no.

Documentary on alien implants convinces filmmaker topic not so crazy

A paranormal documentary filmmaker who explores people’s extraordinary beliefs, has tackled the often ridiculed topic of alien abduction, and the related phenomenon of alien implants. However, this documentary features an actual doctor, a credible alleged abductee and some science. All of which has convinced filmmaker Jeremy Corbell that alien implants deserve a serious examination.

Of all of the fringe ideas in the UFO field, the idea that people are being snatched up by aliens and then returned without their knowledge is pretty hard for many to swallow. Added on top of that the claims some of these people have had implants placed inside of them by the aliens, well, for many, that is bat-poop crazy.

When first asked to document a surgery to remove an alleged alien implant, Cobell responded it was “way outside of my scope of knowledge or interest.”

“It seemed too wild for me to put my mind around,” explained Corbell.

However, since he was asked by friends, and has an interest in extraordinary beliefs, Corbell decided to do it. His experience ultimately resulted in his newly released documentary, Patient Seventeen.

One of the main characters, who Corbell grew very fond of, is a podiatrist and alien implant specialist, Dr. Roger Leir.

    Dr. Roger Leir post-surgery.

Incidentally, Leir was also skeptical when he was approached years ago with the request to remove a suspected alien implant. He thought it was ridiculous. But when he removed the object, begrudgingly, he said it was unlike anything he had seen before, and became very interested in the topic. He then removed, or aided in the removal, of dozens of the objects before passing away in 2014.

Corbell says Leir passed away while he was putting his documentary together, but it was not so much Leir that convinced him the alien abduction and implant phenomenon may be real.

“It was the patient that transformed my opinion,” says Corbell.

Corbell describes the man he refers to as patient 17, the namesake for his film, as an “average guy of above average height.”

    He is six foot nine.

He is referred to as patient 17 because he wishes to remain anonymous, and because he was Leir’s 17th patient to undergo an “alien implant” removal. Corbell says patient 17 is a very down to earth person.

In fact, Corbell says, “He was, and remains, the biggest skeptic that this object removed from his leg — that is hands down extraordinary — has anything to do with his abduction experiences.”

The man known as patient 17.

    (Credit: Jeremy Corbell/ExtraordinaryBeleifs.com)

So what is so extraordinary about the object? Well, for the full story you will have to watch the film, but, according to Corbell, some experts have interpreted the data from test results conducted thus far as being made off-world.

Corbell admits more testing has to be done, but he is convinced this thing is really weird.

The object removed from patient 17 under a microscope.

    (Credit: Jeremy Corbell/ExtraordinaryBeleifs.com)

A short version of Patient Seventeen was entered into the EBE Film Festival at the International UFO Congress several years ago. Although I knew Leir personally, the film exposed me to aspects of his life I was not familiar with, such as a beautiful scene of Leir playing a gigantic organ. The scene was very intimate and moving.

As for patient 17, the man. He did come across as credible, and certainly does not fit the mold of what many think of as an “alien abductee.” He came across as an independent professional who did not seem interested in seeking attention.

I admit, alien abduction is a weird topic that can be uncomfortable. The awkwardness of the phenomenon is portrayed well in the comedy television show People of Earth on TBS. However, if there was ever a documentary that would convince those interested in hard evidence, this may be the one. Not only that, I have to admit, I am partial to Corbell’s shooting style, which is intimate, beautiful and up close and personal.

As of today, Patient Seventeen is available on iTunes, and will be available on other streaming outlets soon.

Mutual UFO Network Director Arrested for Solicitation of Minor

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, Jan Harzan, who has served as the International Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) since 2013, was arrested on July 3 for solicitation of a minor. This news came to light on July 14 when the Huntington Beach Police Department posted the following notice on their Facebook page:

“On July 3, detectives contacted a male by the name of Jan Harzan after Harzan solicited sexual activity from a detective he believed was a 13 year old girl. The suspect solicited the minor to meet for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity, and when the suspect agreed to meet the supposed minor, detectives were there to take him into custody.”

The Huntington Beach Police Department Adult Arrest Log also notes the arrest.

According to freelance journalist Tim McMillan, the Huntington Beach Police Department also sent out a press release. A journalist whom McMillan has worked with in the past, MJ Banias and Vice senior staff writer Anna Merlin were the first to publish a mainstream article on Harzan’s arrest.

Yesterday, July 15, the MUFON Board of Directors responded with a short statement:

“In light of recent events, Jan Harzan has been permanently removed as the Executive Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Effective immediately, he will no longer serve any role in the organization.

David MacDonald, Executive Director Emeritus and a member of the MUFON Board of Directors, will now assume the duties of Executive Director. MUFON remains committed to its core mission: the study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity. This mission is greater than any one person or member of MUFON and supersedes all other considerations. We will continue to move forward and focus on our mission statement.”

As the statement notes, MacDonald has previously served as MUFON’s Executive Director. MacDonald has a colorful past. Vice covered his previous work in a 2015 article titled Raunchy Tales from the Pilot of a Mile-High Club Plane. The subtitled reads: “Pilot David MacDonald makes a living flying folks around—while they get it on in the back of his plane.”

When asked if MacDonald would get requests beyond just taking couples up to have sex, he responded:

“Yes, I have. We had somebody bring their dog. We’ve had requests for threesomes. We actually had a request from some people in Iceland. Now, these folks have too much time on their hands in Iceland and they wanted to know if we had an airplane which would accommodate ten couples and are there any restrictions, save damage to the airplane or injury to the pilot.”

In the article, he also said that clients had asked him to join them, but he always refuses.

In 2012, blogger Billy Cox wrote an article on MacDonald taking over the lead position at MUFON. Cox also covered MacDonald’s interesting mile-high club business. Cox also asked MacDonald about MUFON’s controversial new practice of performing a background check on their certified UFO field investigators. MUFON often dispatches Field investigators to speak with witnesses.

“We weeded out a number of criminals and scam artists and at least one pedophile.” MacDonald explained. “Can you imagine sending a thief or a pedophile into someone’s house? I don’t even want to think about those liability issues.”

In the spirit of full disclosure, I was a MUFON field investigator for a few years in the early 2000s. I also handled MUFON public relations and served as their official spokesperson in the late 2000s. I do not bring up MacDonald’s past to equate his legitimate business with the alleged heinous crime committed by Harzan. However, MUFON leadership has always been predominately old, white, and male. Harzan’s alleged offense and the mile-high airline have in common that they both can be considered “creepy” or “pervy.”

Putting a PR hat on, it is horrible to replace an old, white alleged pedophile with an old, white guy who ran a pervy airline, especially if you want to avoid this sort of media attention. What message is being sent to the public?

I am not the one who feels this way. In the Vice article regarding Harzan, the authors point out a couple of MUFON scandals involving racist comments from leaders within the MUFON organization.

The first scandal was also covered in an article by Newsweek. John Ventre was the state director for Pennsylvania when he went on a tirade on Facebook about a Netflix show he accused of promoting “white genocide.”

“Everything this world is was created by Europeans and Americans,” Ventre fumed. “F’ing blacks didn’t even have a calendar, a wheel or a numbering system until the Brits showed up.”

Harzan responded that MUFON had nothing to do with an individual’s social media. However, the backlash grew, and after several prominent members threatened to quit, Ventre was finally relieved of his state director position. Many were told he was kicked out of MUFON altogether, but that was not the case.

In January of 2018, scientist Chris Cogswell took the position of MUFON’s Director of Research. He quit in April once he found out that Ventre was still working for MUFON.

“When I first joined MUFON, taking on the Director of Research position, I believed this issue [with Ventre] had been dealt with,” Cogswell told Newsweek.

Cogswell says in April he received an email from Ventre regarding the annual MUFON symposium. Ventre was organizing it. Within hours of receiving the email, Cogswell resigned.

More recently, another MUFON state director, Ken Pfeifer, posted racist comments on his Facebook as well. Regarding Black Lives Matter, he wrote: HOLY SHIT….I WOULD OF PICKED THEIR COTTON FOR THEM….IF I THOUGHT IT WOULD END THIS BLM RACIST MADNESS.”

Despite calls for concern, Harzan said he did not see any racist messages on Pfeifer’s Facebook. Pfeifer kept that post up until recently. He still has a meme posted that reads: “Tear gas isn’t working. Lob job applications at them and see how fast they run.”

How is this all connected? MUFON leadership has always wondered why they can’t get more young people, more diversity, and more women involved. Meanwhile, the latest director has been arrested for being an alleged pedophile, the previous/new director ran a pervy airline, and racist comments by MUFON leaders are not only tolerated but allowed to continue without consequence.

Imagine being a young woman interested in this topic or a person of color. Would you feel comfortable going to a MUFON meeting at this point? As a parent, would you want your child involved with such an organization? MUFON’s problems need a much stronger response than only letting Harzan go.

Despite appearances, MUFON is full of great people interested in a similar topic, UFOs. Having recently lived in Arizona, I am great friends with the people who run that chapter. In fact, they are some of my closest friends. I have been a MUFON supporter for many years. I do not feel these controversies represent the organization as a whole, but the rot from within won’t go away by ignoring it exists.

    • NOTE: During all of these controversies, as a previous spokesperson for the organization, I have sent MUFON board members and directors emails regarding my suggestions on how to deal with these issues. Although we have worked together on other matters, my suggestions on these matters have not been acknowledged.

    USAF Report Documents Roswell Coverup

Roswell was a coverup, and the official photos of the crash debris are not what Army officers found in the desert. A report from the U.S. Air Force and testimony from two officers present, reveal this to be the case. However, the coverup details do not prove what crashed in the desert in 1947 was an alien spacecraft. According to U.S. Air Force investigators, the coverup demonstrates what crashed in Roswell was a top-secret project from the cold war.

In early July 1947, a rancher claimed to have found debris on a ranch approximately 30 miles outside of Roswell, New Mexico. He reported it to the Chavez County Sheriff in the nearby town of Corona. The sheriff called the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF), who sent intelligence officer Major Jesse Marcel and counterintelligence corps officer (CIC) Captain Sheridan Cavitt to investigate.

On July 7, Marcel and Cavitt went to the debris site and examined the materials. What they reported seeing was strange enough for the base commander to order the creation of a press release claiming the RAAF had captured a “flying saucer.”

On July 8, the front page of the Roswell Daily Record read “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region.” The article claimed the RAAF reported they had “come into possession of a flying saucer.”

Roswell Daily Record, July 8, 1947

The story was short-lived. The next day, the front-page headline of the Roswell Daily Record read: “Gen. Ramey Empties Roswell Saucer” with the subheadings: “Ramey Says Excitement Is Not Justified,” and “General Ramey Says Disk Is Weather Balloon.”

On July 8, Marcel was ordered to bring some of the debris to the Fort Worth Army Air Base in Texas and meet with General Roger Ramey. On July 9, Ramey held a press conference where he said there was no “flying saucer” found, and that the RAAF had mistaken a standard weather balloon for something more mysterious.

Press photos were taken with Marcel, Ramey, Colonel Thomas DuBose (Ramey’s Chief of Staff), and the alleged crash debris.

General Roger Ramey (left) with Colonel Thomas Dubois looking at the weather balloon Ramey claimed was mistaken for a flying saucer in Roswell in 1947.

Jesse Marcel holding the weather balloon debris in Ramey’s office.

The public quickly forgot the entire affair. It wasn’t until the 1980s that the Roswell UFO crash story began to acquire attention. In the late 1970s, researcher Stanton Friedman heard about the case and was able to find Marcel. Marcel told Friedman that the weather balloon story was to coverup what was really found. He said the material was not a weather balloon.

“You couldn’t bend it. You couldn’t dent it. Even a sledgehammer would bounce off of it,” Marcel stated in an interview in the 1980s on the show In Search Of.

“I knew I had never seen anything like that before, and as of now, I do not know what it was,” Marcel continued, “It was not anything from this earth.”

Marcel said he had taken some of the material home to show his family. His son had kept some of it, but after the cover story was released, Marcel says he had to return all the material he had to the Army. Jesse Marcel Jr. confirmed the strange properties of the material.

Friedman was able to track down other witnesses, civilians and military, who backed Marcel’s story. Friedman began working the case with researcher and author Bill Moore. Moore then published their work in a book titled The Roswell Incident coauthored with Charles Berlitz.

In the 1980s and 1990s, several more books were published, and the Roswell incident grew in popularity. In 1989, an alleged witness came forward to claim alien bodies were also recovered.

The mythology of the Roswell UFO crash had received so much attention that in 1993, congressman Steven Schiff, called for an investigation into the incident. The investigation results were released in 1995 by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) as The Roswell Report: Fact versus Fiction in the New Mexico Desert.

“Concerning the initial announcement, ‘RAAF Captures Flying Disc,’ research failed to locate any documented evidence as to why that statement was made,” wrote USAF investigators.

However, they also discovered it was not a weather balloon, as Ramey stated.

“It appears that there was some type of umbrella cover story to protect our work with MOGUL,” Professor Charles Moore told USAF investigators.

According to the report, while researching the Roswell incident, investigators ran across balloon testing conducted at the same time as the Roswell incident out of Alamogordo Air Field (now Holloman Air Force Base), over 100 miles west of Roswell. New York University (NYU) ran the project, and further investigation revealed the NYU testing was part of a Top Secret program called Project MOGUL.

The investigators were able to track down Moore, who was the NYU project engineer. When shown witness descriptions of the debris, Moore told investigators that he believed they had found one of their Project MOGUL test balloons. In particular, Moore’s team had not recovered a balloon they had launched on July 4, 1947.

“When we heard the [Flying Saucer] news back in New York, we joked that they probably found one of our balloons,” recalled Moore.

As for why Ramey had called it a weather balloon, the report states: “the Air Force did not find documented evidence that Gen. Ramey was directed to espouse a weather balloon in his press conference, he may have done so because he was either aware of Project MOGUL and was trying to deflect interest from it, or he really perceived the material to be a weather balloon based on the identification from his weather officer, Irving Newton.”

As to why debris from a Top Secret project would be left out in a field to be discovered by a rancher, the report explains that the materials were not classified, only the use was. The project’s purpose was to float listening devices with balloons to detect nuclear tests by the Russians.

In 1991, DuBose, the third man in the photographs with the debris, sent UFO researchers an affidavit claiming he knew the material in the photos was not what was found in the desert.

“The material shown in the photographs taken in Gen. Ramey’s office was a weather balloon,” wrote DuBose. “The weather balloon explanation for the material was a cover story to divert the attention of the press.”

DuBose claims the real debris was sent to a General McMullen in Washington D.C., who said he intended to forward the material to Air Material Command at Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio.

DuBose claimed, “The entire operation was conducted under the strictest secrecy.”

However, DuBose did not say he knew what the debris material consisted of or knew anything about the recovery of an alien spacecraft.

Although it appears Ramey was covering up the true nature of what the RAAF found in the desert, the description of the materials used for the Project MOGUL balloons was not high tech or out of the ordinary. The balloons were standard weather balloons. Other elements included balsa wood, foil, tape, and string.

Cavitt, the CIC officer who accompanied Marcel to the debris site, claimed what he saw looked like regular weather balloon debris.

The report described the tape on the balloons as “fabricated by toy or novelty companies using purplish-pink tape with flower and heart symbols on it.”

Recreation of symbols claimed to have been seen by the Marcels.

Marcel and his son described having a piece of the debris that looked like a small I-beam with strange symbols. However, they recall that although the beam was as light as balsa wood, it was made of metal. They did remember markings on the I-beam but said they were not hearts and flowers.

The USAF investigation led them to conclude: “The Air Force research did not locate or develop any information that the ‘Roswell Incident’ was a UFO event. All available materials, although they do not address Roswell per se, indicate that the most likely source of the wreckage recovered from the Brazel Ranch was from one of the Project MOGUL balloon trains. Although that project was Top Secret at the time, there was also no specific indication found to indicate an official preplanned cover story was in place to explain an event such as that which ultimately happened.”

They claimed that Marcel and the RAAF base commander overacted when they claimed they had caught a “flying disc.”

As for alien bodies, they said that was not possible because the wreckage was from Project MOGUL balloons, which did not have passengers, and that even UFO researchers could not agree on the details related to the alleged alien bodies.

If the USAF seemed to solve the case in 1995, why is Roswell still a thing? Well, many do not believe Marcel would mistake a weather balloon for a crashed alien spacecraft. Further, they argue that the base commander would not have written a press release based on finding foil, balsa wood, and other materials that were not mysterious.

Proponents to the Roswell UFO crash also point to the numerous witnesses who claim to have been threatened by the military to keep their mouths shut, or who had allegedly helped clean up the debris field. Even Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who was from Roswell, has said he heard from credible locals that the Roswell UFO crash was real, and he did not believe the USAF conclusion.

Another problem is that although there are numerous alleged witnesses, the USAF investigators only talked to Cavitt. There are references to Marcel’s comments in publications, but USAF investigators did not contact him or other alleged witnesses.

The Roswell incident continues to create heated debate among UFO researchers. Over 70 years later, the mythos of the Roswell UFO crash lives on, despite whatever happened in the lonely desert in 1947.

Decades of Government UFO Gaslighting Exposed

    Posted by: Alejandro Rojas

The United States Air Force claims it stopped investigating UFOs in 1969. It is a point they love to repeat when inquiries have been made for the last few decades, even when researchers present government documents to demonstrate otherwise. Often in the past couple of decades, instead of answering my inquiries about UFO documents, I am sent the USAF UFO Fact sheet. However, given recent revelations, the USAF fact sheet was wrong, and, as many have demonstrated, the government has been taking UFOs seriously for a very long time.

According to the USAF UFO Fact Sheet, the USAF program to investigate UFOs, Project Blue Book, was closed because “No UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to our national security.”

In a memo dated October 20, 1969, by Brigadier General Carroll H. Bolender, the reasons for closing Project Blue Book were outlined. In the memo, Bolender noted that “reports of unidentified flying objects which could affect national security are made in accordance with JANAP 146 or Air Force Manual 55-11, and are not part of the Blue Book system.”

His note indicates that the most critical cases were not going to Project Blue Book, which begs the question, “what good is it to investigate UFOs without the best cases?” It also implies there were cases, “which could affect national security.”

JANAP 146 detailed “Communication Instructions for Reporting Vital Intelligence Sightings [aka CIRVIS].” “Unidentified flying objects” were one of the items listed as something to report.

    CIRVIS reporting poster from 1950s

Eventually, the military replaced CIRVIS with Operational Reporting (OPREP). A document distributed by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1993 says, “OPREP–3 reports containing information relating to unknown objects near U.S. military installations are considered extremely sensitive, and thus not releasable.”

Sure enough, UFO researchers have found several of these documents. They typically address UFOs incursions over weapons storage areas, including those that house nuclear weapons.

Despite having receipts, UFO researchers are often grouped in with the tin-foil hat crowd. Nick Pope ran the Ministry of Defense (MoD) “UFO desk.” He dealt with these issues from the government side. Pope told the Huffington Post, “We were telling the public we’re not interested, this is all nonsense, but in reality, we were desperately chasing our tails and following this up in great detail."

“To really achieve our policy of downplaying the UFO phenomenon, we would use a combination of ‘spin and dirty tricks,'” claims Pope. “We used terms like UFO buffs and UFO spotters — terms that mean these people are nut jobs. In other words, we were implying that this is just a very somewhat quaint hobby that people have as opposed to a serious research interest.”

As in many things, it seems the U.S. and U.K. had UFO public relations strategy in common.

I remember the first time I got a good case. It was a security officer who had recently returned from the war in Iraq. He was hypersensitive to his environment and spotted an odd object hovering over a mountain near commercial airliners’ path. He says he tried calling the local airport and the police. No one cared. He finally found the number to a local group collecting UFO reports and got to me. When I called the airport and hounded the FAA on the matter, they didn’t care. They referred me to civilian UFO groups, like the one of which I was a part.

I was shocked and very concerned. It appeared the UFO taboo was causing government agencies to lend a blind-eye to potentially dangerous situations that put the public in harm’s way. What my witness reported may have been someone flying a remote-controlled aircraft near commercial airliners. But the FAA could not be bothered once the word “UFO” was invoked.

It was refreshing to hear Senator Marco Rubio recently express a similar concern.

“The bottom line is if there are things flying over your military bases and you don’t know what they are because they are not yours, and they exhibit, potentially, technologies that you don’t have at your own disposal, that to me is a national security risk and one that we should be looking into,” Rubio told CBS Miami.

Rubio is the chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI). In the proposed Intelligence Authorization Act for 2021 (see verbiage below from exploratory committee report: pages 11 and 12), the SSCI is asking that the Director of National Intelligence “in conjunction” with the Secretary of Defense put together a report on “unidentified aerial phenomenon [UAP].” The report is to include information from the “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force.”

Why would he assume they have this sort of information? Well, the reasons made public stem from the revelations of Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence officer who claims to have headed up a project at the Pentagon investigating UAP. His involvement in the program was featured in an article in The New York Times in late 2017. Elizondo claimed that the program continued even after he had left a few months before the article was published.

Although the Department of Defense (DoD) balked at the claims at first, they have admitted that the program existed and still exists. A DoD spokesperson recently told Swedish UFO researcher Roger Glassel it is an “interagency team.”

One agency included in the SSICI UAP report request is the FBI.

Further, just last night, Elizondo told investigative journalist George Knapp on Coast to Coast AM that he recently discovered an earlier program similar to his. A transcript of the conversation can be read on SilvaRecord.com. Elizondo says that he was recently at a meeting having a classified discussion when one of the men present told him he had done Elizondo’s UAP job in the 80s.

“I wasn’t there to ask him questions,” says Elizondo. “I was there for them to ask me questions, but it was very clear to me that AATIP was not the first of its kind ever. There was an organized effort back in the ’80s to do exactly this as well.”

The question is, how will the various agencies the SSCI is asking to provide information respond? Will they gaslight the SSCI, like they have done with the public at large since 1969?

Chris Mellon, former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and former Staff Director of the SSCI worked with Elizondo to get credible information regarding Elizondo’s UAP research out to the public. U.S. Navy cases, along with firsthand witnesses, led to the Navy admitting they took UAPs seriously and investigated UAP incidents.

Elizondo and Mellon are co-leads in the History Channel series Unidentified. In the first season of the show, we saw the two take some of the Navy witnesses to Washington D.C. to brief lawmakers. Politico covered some of these briefings. All of this lead to the SSCI UAP report requests.

In a recent interview shared on the Rojas Report, Mellon says they have several never before seen military cases that should help frame the forthcoming reports.

“I think they’re going to add to the impetus and the need for Congress to be asking questions,” says Mellon. “And also begin to underscore the kinds of things or provide more reason to believe that a report of that nature should be able to produce some very interesting findings.”

One such case is from NORAD, says Mellon.

“For example, in season two, we have a NORAD watch officer who tells a story of an event he participated in firsthand, in which NORAD was trying to intercept a UFO,” says Mellon. “This [went] all the way up to the four-star level, and they were scrambling every jet they could get in the air.”

This one should make it into the reports. Although in the OPREP article I referenced above, researcher John Greenewald says NORAD had told him “in the spirit of the FOIA, they looked for UFO information but found no records.”

Now the public knows the trials and tribulations of legitimate UFO researchers. There is a lot of wild speculation on the internet regarding UFOs, including thousands claiming to already be in contact with aliens. Hopefully, mainstream science, media, and academia are beginning to realize some of those concerned that the government has been lying to us about what it knows about UFOs have the receipts to prove it.

Here is something that may be hard to see for some people. I believe about 25% may not see what is there. Our eyes need time to get use to black and white, so if you cant see the structure in the crater, don't worry, come back tomorrow and try again.

The google ruler says its 50 miles across. There is a long black structure in this crater. The top has a huge black window cockpit area. There are three small arms coming out the back of the craft. It looks like the arms are anchoring onto the side of the crater.   Absolute proof of alien life on our moon. It always seems impossible until its been done. So...there you go.

Unknown object becomes visible during mysterious flashes on Venus

Asky-watcher spotted mysterious flashes on Planet Venus and it is hard to think they could be explosions. There were so many strange bursts as you will see in this video. During the flashes an unknown object becomes visible for a fraction of a second.

Then the sky-watcher also captured flashing and moving lights in the Moon's Aristarchus Crater and beyond as well as a view of the surface of the moon east of Copernicus Crater showing the real surface of the moon close up and several lunar anomalies.
The footage starts with an unknown object passing the Moon at high speed, the mysterious flashes and unknown object in slow motion start at about the 11.30 mark in the video.

China's Secret Space Program: Threat or Opportunity

China is in the midst of a stealth war against the USA where it is using an asymmetric military strategy called “Assassin’s Mace” to dominate the strategic high ground of space, and replace the US as the world’s hegemony before 2049.

By 2030, China’s economy will outgrow the US, and China plans to use its vast economic resources to project its presence deep into space in ways that may lead to escalating military confrontations with the newly created US Space Force.

    Jezus verschijnt in Braziliaanse boomstam

    jezus verschijnt in boom
