What About Intelligent Life?

While microbes are tied to their environment, advanced civilizations could become nomadic, escaping planetary risks by living on artificial platforms in space. Professor Loeb emphasizes that survival, even for intelligent species, is precarious. On Earth alone, more than 99.9% of species have gone extinct. Some, like the dinosaurs, perished due to catastrophic events, such as the impact of the Chicxulub meteor. Others disappeared due to environmental changes and competition.

Given that the average species lasts between 1 to 10 million years, Professor Loeb points out that humanity, which evolved roughly 5–7 million years ago, may already be approaching the end of its natural lifespan. While technology might help delay extinction, it can’t eliminate all risks. Even our Sun poses a long-term threat—within a billion years, it will heat up enough to boil Earth’s oceans away. This recognition drives efforts like Elon Musk’s vision to colonize Mars, but Professor Loeb suggests that advanced civilizations might go even further, building space platforms powered by artificial energy sources.

A New Approach to Finding Advanced Civilizations

Traditional SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) efforts have focused on detecting signals from star systems. However, if advanced civilizations have already left their planets, they might be roaming interstellar space. Professor Loeb leads the Galileo Project, an initiative searching for evidence of extraterrestrial technology within our solar system.

Instead of looking for radio signals, the Galileo Project focuses on identifying physical artifacts—objects that could have originated from advanced extraterrestrial technology. Currently, the team operates observatories at Harvard University and plans to expand with new facilities in Pennsylvania and Nevada. Future expeditions aim to recover materials from interstellar meteors, while upcoming data from the Rubin Observatory and the James Webb Space Telescope will aid in these investigations.

Professor Loeb argues that humanity should broaden its search by not only looking for microbial life on distant planets but also by hunting for technological relics near Earth. He believes it’s crucial to keep an open mind—what we might find could be far beyond our current understanding. As we invest billions in these efforts, one thing is clear: the search for alien life, whether microbial or advanced, might yield its first results right in our own cosmic neighborhood.

The 'alien mummies' discovered in Peru have largely been dismissed as a hoax by the scientific community, but researchers studying the specimens believe otherwise.

Dr José Zalce, former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, has analyzed 21 of the strange bodies, finding 'fingerprints, bone wear, dental formations, muscular features and internal organs - proving they're 100 percent real biological organisms.'

He even claimed some were pregnant, 'making them impossible to fake or replicate fraudulently,' said Zalce who has testified under oath that the mummies are real following his six years of work with them.

Recent scans of a 'pregnant' mummy revealed what appeared to be an intact fetus that had the same physical characteristics of the corpses, which the team said was proof of authenticity.

The mummies first exploded on the scene when controversial UFO enthusiast and journalist Jaime Maussan ushered two small beings into Mexico Congress in 2023.

He claimed they were not part of 'our terrestrial evolution', with 30 percent of their genetic composition still 'unknown.'

Dr Zalce and his team, however,  have performed X-rays, CT scans with 3D reconstruction, fluoroscopy, DNA analysis, forensic fingerprinting and tissue sample examinations on each body for the last six years.

'These confirm with 100 percent certainty their organic, biofunctional, and skeletal anatomical authenticity,' Dr Zalce told DailyMail.com.

The researchers conducted a recent scan of a mummy named 'Montserrat,' finding it was pregnant at the time of death, which they believe was at least 1,200 years ago

The mystery began in 2017 when Maussan and a team of self-proclaimed paranormal researchers said they found a mysterious three-fingered 'mummified humanoid' with an elongated skull near the city of Nazca.

The body was found covered in white powder, which the team said was used to preserve the remains.

And five years later, the tiny beings were paraded through Mexico's Congress where Maussan argued his case and did so on two occasions.

During the second meeting, he brought in a string of doctors who all said the bodies were those of real, once-living organisms - some experts claimed to have studied 'five similar specimens over four years.

Now, a group of researchers who have studied nearly two dozen specimens are 100 percent sure they are real.

Jois Mantilla, a Peruvian journalist, has worked closely with the team stands with the experts' conclusion, specifically when the fetus was discovered in a mummy named Montserrat.

'The fact that the fetus is a tridactyl [three-fingered being] makes it one of the most important proofs of the authenticity of these bodies,' he said.

Dr Zalce and his team have determined that the specimen was between 15 and 25 years old at time of due to its 'bodily condition, gestational state, and a comparison of her anthropomorphic bone structure.'

He estimated Montserrat's remains are from 1,200 to 1,600 years old.

Mantilla also believes the the mummies are remains from an unknown species of hominin due to having some physical characteristics of a human, while its hands, facial features, elongated skull and feet are completely different.

'It could be a different species of hominid that had not been described before by science,' he said.

'We presume that these beings, so similar to humans, but different at the same time, may have been genetically created by combining genes as in the case of Maria.'

A study on the mummy named Maria, published in May 2024, found that it has biological similarities to that of a human - but with 'many morphological and anatomical structural differences.'

The creature's bones were observed to flow smoothly under the mummified casing, in a way that is found throughout the human body, and its elongated skull showed no signs of artificial cranial deformation.

Mantilla claimed that genes of a bamboo and chimpanzee were used to genetically modify a 'human from the East.'

However, scientists outside this group have also studied two mummies and found different results.

Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada, who led the analysis, said the claims that the two objects came from another word are 'totally false.'

'The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times,' he said in January 2024.

'They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens.'

However, a former Colorado prosecutor and current defense attorney, who has examined one of the mummies, is also a true believer.

Joshua McDowell said: 'The bodies studied by Estrada were not related to any specimen that we have studied. They were folk dolls made to look like tridactyls confiscated at the airport.'

Estrada's statements have not stopped Zalce and his team from looking deeper into the mysterious bodies.

 'All serious researchers involved have confirmed that these are non-human bodies with unique anatomical differences, such as tridactyl, without any traces of artificial manipulation or alteration,' Dr Zalce said.

One of those differences, according to researchers, are the specimens' fingerprints do not correspond to any hominid, they are linear.

'Those of humans, hominids, are oblique, they are wavy, they are rounded shapes and these are totally linear,' Mantilla said.

'In some of the bodies, the number of fingers reach five, in others four and some have only three.'

Dr Zalce added that the mummies' 'authenticity is supported by fingerprints, DNA analysis showing remarkable differences from human DNA, and other surprising genetic and pathological findings.'

Metallic plates have been found throughout other areas of the mummies' bodies, 'from the interior covering some bones to external attachments on the skin, forming a biofunctional implant with no signs of rejection,' said Dr Zalce.

'These polymetallic plates have been analyzed using [a light-based measurement], revealing an alloy composed of copper, cadmium, osmium, aluminum, gold, and silver,' he added.

'Notably, the silver has a purity of over 95 percent, which is rare in nature. Additionally, cadmium and osmium, relatively recent discoveries, are currently used in satellite communication and satellite structures.'

Montserrat was found with a metallic-like object on its head that Mantilla said was placed on the body while it was alive.

'They have been placed on the skin using a technique that we still do not know,' he said. 'In some cases, [like Montserrat], the skin has been seen to have grown around the implant.

'This gives us the understanding that these implants were used while the subject was still alive. They were not metal implants placed for ritual purposes.'

McDowell is helping the researchers work collaboratively with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture to complete additional genetic and forensic testing not currently available in Peru.

'There are a lot of unknowns about these tridactyl specimens that could be definitively answered through additional testing modalities not currently available in Peru,' he said.

'Our position is simply that they should be tested, in a legal and culturally sensitive manner, with the best methods available today.'

Scientists Use NASA Spacecraft Data to Predict Alien Contact

Using advanced star-mapping data from the Gaia mission, the researchers have pinpointed potential star systems that may have intercepted Earth’s messages and calculated when a response could arrive.

Tracing Earth’s Signals into Deep Space

In 1973, NASA sent its first interstellar radio signal via the Pioneer 10 spacecraft. Pioneer 10 traveled toward the star Aldebaran, approximately 65 light-years away, though it has yet to come close to this distant star.

Similarly, the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft, launched in 1977, transmitted signals as they journeyed beyond the solar system. Voyager 2 left the Sun’s heliosphere in 2018 and is now traveling through interstellar space. Along its trajectory, it passed near the direction of a brown dwarf star located about 24 light-years away.

As per The Debrief, by analyzing these trajectories and combining them with Gaia’s data, researchers have mapped where other civilizations might intercept Earth’s signals. The team predicts that if intelligent life near this brown dwarf intercepted Voyager 2’s signal, we could theoretically receive a reply by the early 2030s.

Using Gaia Data to Refine Predictions

The Gaia space observatory, renowned for producing the most accurate star maps in history, was instrumental in this research. By charting the positions and motions of stars, the researchers calculated the time required for Earth’s radio signals to reach specific systems and for a potential reply to return.

“Our estimates are based on the time it takes for light-speed signals to travel between stars,” said lead researcher Howard Isaacson, an astronomer at UC Berkeley. “If an extraterrestrial civilization intercepted our signals and chose to respond, their reply would also travel at the speed of light, taking years to reach us.”

This analysis also highlights specific systems where SETI researchers could focus their telescope time, maximizing the chances of detecting alien signals.

The Odds of Contact

While the predictions are scientifically grounded, Isaacson acknowledges the slim likelihood of receiving an alien signal. “The probability is low, but the potential impact of such a discovery is enormous,” he explained. “Even if we don’t find signals immediately, this research inspires new ideas and technologies for exploring the cosmos.”

The study has also drawn attention from UFO enthusiasts, some of whom speculate that significant extraterrestrial-related events might occur by 2027. However, Isaacson has distanced his work from such unverified claims, emphasizing that the research relies on scientific data rather than speculation.

This study represents more than just a search for alien life—it’s a testament to humanity’s curiosity and determination to explore the unknown. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and precise measurements, the research opens new doors for understanding our place in the universe.

“Whether or not we find extraterrestrial life soon, the effort to look inspires us to think bigger and imagine the possibilities,” Isaacson concluded.

Some of the Most Outlandish Alien Encounters Ever

The world of alien encounters can get pretty weird. It is something beyond the scope of our understanding and often floats off into the fringes of the bizarre. However, some cases are stranger than most, and here we will look at some of the more bonkers cases of alien encounters that really pushed the envelope of the odd. 

A curious early case takes us back to 1929 when a girl and her brother were playing in the garden at their home in Hertford, England, which brushed up against an orchard. As they played, they suddenly heard a curious sound like an engine coming from the orchard beyond their garden, and when they looked they could see a tiny biplane with a wingspan of just 12 inches come into view. The strange little plane landed, almost knocking down a dustbin in the process, and the two siblings could see a minuscule little man in the cockpit of the plane. This odd little gnome-like creature then waved at them before taking off into the air again and flying off out of sight.   

In later years there is a strange report from the year 1947, in Arrolaguetre, Rubiaco, Spain. On this day, four men, Marcelo Martin Sanchez, Fausto Dominguez Martin and Julian Sendin Martin were returning to their rural village when they stopped to take a breather in a nearby field. As they rested, their thoughts were interrupted by the sound of what seemed to be an intense clapping, which then mingled with a cacophony of what appeared to be the sounds of hundreds of faded voices chanting or murmuring together at the same time. Looking around in alarm, the men then saw something very bizarre indeed. An excerpt of the report cited on the site Extremadura Misteriosa says of it:   

“The men looked around and spotted a tremendously tall figure approaching their location on a nearby field. The bizarre figure seemed to swing its arms like a soldier. Even stranger, the bizarre figure was wearing a white shirt with a black stripe around the neck area and it appeared to be headless! The three stunned men watched as the headless giant walked by only about 5 meters from them, totally ignoring them. It disappeared quickly into the distance taking great strides as it did. Strangely the loud cacophony of sound seemed to originate from it.”   

What was this thing and what were those freaky noises all about? Who knows? The following year, in 1948, a resident of the Polish village of Wrzeszczyn by the name of Henryk Matczak was out in the woods collecting mushrooms when he saw quite a surreal sight. He would say of it:   

“I saw at a distance of maybe 30 meters a group of children dressed in green, maybe there were ten of them. At first I thought they were scouts, because they were dressed in green. Although this outfit, upon closer inspection, was not a scout uniform, as it was quite tight and more like some kind of sports swimmer's clothing. The outfit clung quite tightly to their bodies, and on their heads the “scouts” had hoods, slightly protruding over their heads. The outlines of the faces I could not see. Each looked the same and was about 1 m tall, the stature of a boy of eight years.   

I thought they were scouts, because not far away in those post-German warehouses the first scout conventions of the Polish Scouting Association had already been organized in the woods. But there was something wrong. These individuals were moving fast, bending down once, getting up, handing something to each other. I was stunned to see that they began to climb a large beech tree standing nearby, which had large branches spreading wide on the sides. “Scouts” began to climb the tree as if they had glue on their shoes and gravity did not apply to them at all.   

One climbed all the way up to the branch and disappeared into the leaves immediately followed by another. I recall that some of them waded all the way in and immediately retreated, going head down. This happened before I decided to get closer to simply talk to them and ask what they were doing here in the forest. Then these - let's say - five, who were standing on the ground, looked at me and began to watch me closely. I immediately turned around and started running away, because I no longer knew what I was dealing with.”   

Just what are we dealing with here? Aliens, interdimensional interlopers, or something else? An utterly perplexing case from the files of paranormal researcher Albert S. Rosales occurred in 1953, in the Ano Ilioupolis neighborhood, East Athens, Greece. The witness, a Vassaliki F, saw a strange woman in the streets of Ilioupolis while out taking a stroll, and it would only snowball into the bizarre from there. The odd report reads:   

“The witness –a woman with many paranormal experiences- saw a strange woman in the streets of Ilioupolis. She had large, protruding eyes, high forehead, incredibly thin waist and was wearing very old-fashioned gray clothes –a skirt and a jacket. Inside of this she was wearing tight transparent trousers. She was followed by a very small “dog”, actually a piece of shadow that was hovering very near the ground. She was holding the “dog” with a transparent thick cord. When the witness tried to ask her who she was and from when did she come, the strange woman glared at her and went away, vanishing in the Saint George site of antiquities. The next day, news was spread that in the nearby fields of Sain Nicholas, an “aluminium hut” came down from the sky and landed. It had “windows” through which a shepherd saw incredibly ugly dwarfs inside. Among them there was a dwarf with the head of an animal. In a few minutes, a door opened on the “hut” and a dwarf came out, holding something like a golden plate in his hands. Then, the strange woman Mrs. F. had seen the previous day made her appearance. The dwarf bowed to her, and she filled the “plate” with dirt. They both went into the “hut” and the latter took off and vanished in the sky with a loud bang.”   

What in the world was going on here? On the morning of July 13, 1959, a resident of Blenheim, New Zealand, went out onto her property to milk her dairy cows at around 5:30 am. Halfway across the paddock she saw a strange green glow through the low clouds, and then a green light broke through and split into two lights “like eyes or big lamps.” As this was happening, the whole area was bathed in an oddly colored light of “a horrid sort of colour,” as a circular craft about nine meters wide and with a curved glass cockpit silently descended towards her, with two shafts of green light beaming down from its underside and two rows of small, orange jets that shot outwards like spokes from the rim of the disc. Despite the witness’s fear, she thought it was all quite beautiful. A report on the incident from the APRO Bulletin and NOUFORS would say what happened next:   

“The air on this cold July morning became warm and she noticed a low hum. She was “scared stiff”, but curious and enchanted by the lights. It was an image she could still recall in detail decades later. “It was just imprinted indelibly on my mind. I just took it in. I saw everything in those few minutes.’’ Inside the curved glass cockpit, she could see two figures wearing shiny silver suits and helmets. The suits were tight like a wet suit and looked like they were made of aluminium foil. The men were seated one in front of the other. Both had their backs to her. A flickering light shone up from below them, reflecting off their suits. Then one of the silver suited men emerged from the craft and walked towards her. She could see his face through a small visor in the helmet. He was wearing a wide belt with a black disc at the centre. He had a harness on his chest that held a small dial and a series of tubes coming out of the helmet. His left hand was missing and was encased in a dark sheath. Then he shouted at her in a foreign language she did not recognise. He retreated back to the craft and got back on board.   

After a few moments, the jets starting shooting out from the craft again. It tilted at an angle and then shot up into the sky at great speed. As it retreated behind the clouds it made a soft, high-pitched whine. Then she was alone. Standing in a waft of hot peppery air. She was relieved that the attracting power of the green lights had gone, but didn’t know what to do next. Eventually, she finished milking the cows. “While I was milking I kept wondering and felt a bit shaken and puzzled, and did not quite know what to do about it.’’ She returned to the house and woke her husband Frederick to tell him what she had seen. She feared he would laugh at her, but he took her seriously and asked if she had called the police. She rang the police at 7am. Woodbourne commanding officer Arthur Gainsford visited the farm and interviewed Moreland later that day. Her husband Frederick had told Gainsford about his wife’s claims that morning. Gainsford found Moreland calm and rational. Local police told him she was ‘’a rational and stable person from their personal knowledge of her when she was of assistance to them on another matter.’’   

Moving on into the 60s we come to an outlandish case involving what can only be described as “space penguins.” On the morning of February 14th, 1967, farmer Claude Edwards was surprised to notice that all of his cattle were eerily staring off in the same direction. When he looked to see what was holding their attention, he saw a “large green-gray mushroom-shaped craft” about 70 feet away from him, which he described as smooth, metallic, covered in "shiny silk" and dotted with port holes through which a dazzling array of colors shone.  

This light show was mesmerizing, and Edwards found himself approaching the craft, where he noticed a group of very odd entities beneath it. He would say that they looked like penguins, and were 3 feet tall and green with no hands, neck, or visible form of locomotion, and beak-like protrusions instead of mouths. Edwards tried to get closer, but when he did he was stopped by some sort of invisible force field, which also happened to deflect some rocks he threw towards the ship. The space penguins then filed into the craft and shot away at high speeds. Edwards was so reluctant to talk about his bizarre experience that he told his story only on the promise that it would not be published until after his death.   

From the pages of Albert S. Rosales’ book “Humanoid Encounters 1970-1974: The Others amongst Us,” there is a weird encounter reported by a student at the University of Georgia by the name of Mars Walker. He claims that one evening he was reading in his modest apartment near the campus when he was startled by a “high-pitched, siren-like sound.” When he went to his window to find out the source of the eerie sound, he saw a glow emanating from outside, so he opened the door to check it out and was met with the sight of a round, smooth craft that slowly descended from the sky about fifty yards away. That’s when things would get really weird. The report continues:   

“After five minutes the pitch of the sound became sharper “and a thing took shape within the doughnut shape of the middle.” It required another minute before the form became clearly visible. According to Walker, “It was a human-like being standing erect,” and colored like “a sea green opaque, like a hologram.” The most prominent aspect of the creature was its “medusa-head,” composed of objects resembling tentacles that surrounded the head. Each hand had three or four fingers, but otherwise seemed human. “The odd thing to me” Walker continued, “is how little attention it paid me. No interest in communicating with me or threatening me or any other activity, besides observing.” The scene was surreal; the creature bathed in the pale-green light like “an electrical field,” the student thought. Perhaps it was a hologram. Apparently finished with its duties, the entity went back inside the craft. After a half hour the UFO departed.”   

From 1977 there ia a weird encounter in a place called Harrah. which is a tiny rural town in Yakima County, in the center of Washington State, in the United States, with a current population of less than 600 citizens. One frigid winter morning in January of 1977, a 9-year-old José Cantu woke up and went to the kitchen to make something for breakfast. As he did, his concentration was broken by glancing at what he at first thought to be a tiny little man walking past the window. He went to investigate and would soon see that not only was this not a little man, but that it was something far odder than anything he could have imagined.   

When Cantu went out into the yards, he was greeted by the sight of a quartet of otherworldly entities that defied classification. Each of the beings was rotund, greenish in color, standing three feet high, with no legs but rather merely wire and tube adorned wide based hovering rotating pedestals where legs would normally be. Perhaps even stranger still, each of the creatures had a pair of mushroom-capped antennas, coarse hair, pig-like noses and a single eye that peered out of round faces. The arms of the beings were described as floppy, tiny little protuberances that looked like they would be worthless for any sort of practical use.   

Cantu was so shocked by all of this that he hid himself, and that was when he noticed several metallic crafts, each with another little, green, pig-nosed, cyclops sitting within it. These crafts opened to reveal ramps that descended to the ground, after which the entities ascended into the crafts and they took ff with a puff of smoke. Shortly after this, the boy ran to tell his mother what had happened, but she didn’t believe him. He would also tell his teacher and classmates at school, and considering that he was considered to be an honest boy not prone to tall tales, his teacher and a teacher’s aide went with him to investigate the site where he claimed he had seen the bizarre creatures. There they found circular indentations in the ground and a spherical dent in the ground where one of the crafts had apparently sat. They also discovered that the uncut grass in the center of the circular patterns was swirled upward for reasons unknown. In the end, everyone present was convinced that the boy was telling the truth.   

The following year there was a report from Francavilla, Abruzzo, Italy in 1978. On this evening, Mr. Alfredo D'Aviero was returning home on his motorcycle, and since the road was in such poor condition and so riddled with potholes, he looked down to watch where he was going and avoid an accident. A report from Albert S. Rosales on the strange incident continues:   

“When he looked up again he found himself facing two unusual characters: they were two strange "little boys", with small, round eyes, arms behind their back and they seemed to laugh, and one of them seemed to have a slightly crooked jaw. They wore a silvery-white outfit tinged with green, zouaves and cuff. At the head,they wore tight hats that also tightened the chin covering the ears, on the left side of their heads,they wore a small "feather". Their legs didn't have any knees and were as stiff as two sticks. The beings also wore some kind of stilts so you can see the bone-free ankles. D'Aviero tried to offer the two cigarettes and persimmons, but they refused any offer, at which D'Aviero decided to "take them" to Francavilla as proof of his experience. He got closer, he got hit by a blinding flash of light, when he opened his eyes again, the two beings were gone.”   

What in the world? Just as eerie is a report from 1983, in Val Trebbia, Emilia Romagna, Italy. On a beautiful afternoon the witness, only known as Mr. A. was riding his ‘Aprilia’ trail motorbike on the dry bed of the Treibbia River when he suddenly noticed a “being of very unusual features.” A report on the matter from the files of Albert Rosales reads:   

“The witness described the figure as a sort of “flying nun” dressed in a long and dark-colored diving suit, apparently rigid and without folds. The figure also wore a sort of headdress or helmet that closely resembled the one worn by the nuns. The being flew faster than A’s motorbike and at a height of about twenty/thirty centimeters from the ground with its torso slightly bent forward. The bizarre flying figure covered a distance of one hundred and fifty/two hundred meters in about three or four seconds always remaining level to the ground, then it suddenly shot off into the nearby bush and disappeared from sight. It did not make any noise it did not disturb the waters of the river or dust from the ground. The whole encounter lasted about ten interminable seconds. Frightened, the witness immediately reversed and drove towards his house where he told his family what he had seen.”

These are all incredibly strange cases that really skirt the periphery of the bizarre. It is hard to know what we are dealing with in such unconventional accounts. Are these really aliens or do such encounters represent something else entirely? For now, the answers remain elusive, but the reports keep coming in.

Ex-DARPA Manager Claims Encounter with 7-Foot Humanoid Who Told him Human Body Is A Machine Designed To House Soul For Lifetime

“I believe I was visited by Non-human Entities”

Dr. John Blitch recounted several traumatic experiences, both from childhood and later in life, that he believes are connected to encounters with non-human entities. He explained how these incidents left him paralyzed with terror, distinctly different from fear, and how they remain unforgettable due to their emotional intensity.

Dr. Blitch described seeing beings through his bedroom window as a child, staring at him with large dark eyes. These encounters were so frightening that he became paralyzed, unable to scream until the paralysis lifted. He shared that he would eventually scream, prompting his parents to come running and attempt to calm him down.

Despite his father’s assurances that monsters and aliens didn’t exist, Dr. Blitch found their explanations unconvincing. He likened his father’s reassurances to what he perceives as the government’s approach to downplaying the existence of such phenomena.

He acknowledged that, as a child, he tried to dismiss these events as dreams, influenced by his skeptical nature. However, in retrospect, he now believes these were real encounters with non-human intelligences.

Dr. Blitch highlighted the importance of emotion in distinguishing belief from knowledge, stating that while many childhood memories require belief due to lack of proof, his later experiences provide what he considers irrefutable evidence. He firmly stated that he knows he was visited by non-human entities, based on both his childhood and three key incidents as an adult.

His professional background in neuroscience and psychology added depth to his account, as he discussed the physiological responses to terror, such as paralysis and the “chicken skin” reaction. These experiences, he emphasized, went beyond simple fear, leaving a profound impact on him.

Physical Evidence!

Dr. John Blitch recounted waking up after a terrifying night to discover three dark bruises on the inside of his right bicep and another bruise higher up on his arm. The pattern of the bruises suggested a grasp by a three- or four-fingered hand, something he could not logically explain.

He emphasized that he repeatedly tried to determine how he might have caused the injuries but found no plausible explanation. Adding to the strangeness, he noted his uncharacteristic reaction upon waking: he immediately went downstairs to retrieve a video camera to document the bruises.

This behavior was highly unusual for him, as he typically had no inclination to record himself or take photos of his body. He suggested that this anomalous behavior, along with the unexplained bruises, strongly supported the idea of non-human engagement.

Abduction!

That experience leads me to believe that, yes, absolutely, because I clearly didn’t want to go. If something, somebody, or a non-human entity—I think it was a biological robot—wanted me to go somewhere I didn’t want to go, then technically, that is the definition of an abduction.

From my perspective, two species are visiting us, and I feel, like many other abductees, like a lab rat—that we are being prodded, poked, and experimented on as part of scientific discovery.

Dr. John Blitch confirmed having held a Top Secret SCI clearance, particularly as a nuclear weapons delivery officer, which required an exceptional level of trust and stability.

He served as a Pershing II missile battery commander, responsible for nuclear missile operations, including leading troops in multiple command roles.

Despite his verified stability and military role, Dr. Blitch openly admitted to having encounters with non-human beings. He mentioned that he was not alone—at least four other peer-qualified military personnel with similar credentials had publicly shared their abduction experiences.

Dr. Blitch brought up notable figures like Terry Lovelace, Mario Woods, Jeff Goodrich, and Bob Jacobs, alongside Robert Hastings, who investigated such incidents. He challenged Congress and skeptics to question the reliability of individuals like Lovelace if they doubt these accounts.

Dr. John Blitch firmly believes that such events are not dreams, emphasizing his inability to dismiss physical evidence like bruises on his body and the accounts of his family, who reported he was missing for about five hours following a supposedly one-hour bike ride.

He goes on to recount an intense, haunting incident that began after a traumatic experience in Oklahoma City, where he witnessed a severe amputation. To cope with the emotional toll, he began taking mountain bike rides to meditate, particularly to a remote area called Daniel’s Park in Denver. One day during his ride, while p assing a fenced area with a sign saying “Indian Burial Grounds,” Dr. Blitch felt an inexplicable urge to trespass. After an internal struggle about respecting the land, he climbed over the fence and started walking his bike through the area. As he ventured farther, he noticed blood on his hand, a bizarre and unexpected bloody nose that seemed unrelated to physical exertion.

He collapsed, later experiencing intense cold and disorientation. Upon regaining his senses, he found himself inexplicably drawn toward a light on a plateau, though he couldn’t explain why. Approaching the light, he observed what he believed was a fuel truck, though his memory was foggy. Strangely, when he attempted to interact with the truck, he felt fear and avoided further engagement.

The odd events continued as he frantically biked home but soon found himself disoriented, arriving hours later than expected. At a nearby 7-Eleven, while extremely dehydrated, he heard his name broadcasted over a police radio. The officer informed him that his wife had filed a missing persons report after his long absence. This was especially troubling because, according to his recollections, the bike ride, which should have taken a couple of hours, had inexplicably stretched out much longer. He felt exhausted as though he had run a marathon but couldn’t make sense of the lost time. The entire event, punctuated with physical and emotional disarray, only added to his growing certainty that extraterrestrial beings had involved themselves in his life.

Dr. John Blitch discussed his struggle with understanding experiences that challenge reality, particularly those involving altered perceptions. He questioned how one could determine the true nature—benevolent or malevolent—of something capable of manipulating perceptions.

He recounted an experience where he froze in fear upon seeing the cover of Whitley Strieber’s book Communion, which features the image of a gray alien. While walking through a Barnes & Noble with his youngest daughter, he glanced at the cover and was immediately overwhelmed by terror, feeling a deep, physiological response. His daughter, noticing he was paralyzed, tugged on his hand, breaking the spell. Despite his terror, he later purchased the book, immediately tore off the cover, and threw it away.

Blitch linked this fear to memories from his childhood, particularly of seeing similar alien faces looking at him through a window. These experiences left lasting psychological effects, such as obsessive-compulsive behaviors, including repeatedly checking and locking doors and drapes at night. He highlighted how these incidents created a deep sense of unease that he could not shake, reinforcing the profound and unsettling impact they had on him.

This event occurred in his bedroom on the third floor of a split-level house, where the being entered through a sliding screen door that opened onto a deck with no stairs. Despite his terror and paralysis, Dr. Blitch noted the entity’s direct and intent focus as it telepathically communicated with him.

The being explained that the human body is merely a “soul housing group” or a machine designed to house the soul for a lifetime. It claimed that while they might manipulate, adjust, or even replace parts of the body, they could not take the soul or consciousness. Frustrated by his resistance, the being likened the situation to a surgeon or veterinarian needing cooperation from a reluctant subject. The ex-military officer provided a cryptic explanation when the man pressed his neighbor on how UFOs travel from these stars to Earth. He claimed that UFOs don’t rely on traditional propulsion systems like combustion engines. Instead, their technology supposedly harnesses electricity from space itself, enabling them to create a “void” in space. This void allows the UFOs to essentially “fall” through it, making travel extremely fast without the need for thrust-based motion. However, the explanation was vague and difficult to follow.

The Belt of Orion, an iconic constellation, is known for its three bright stars: Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. Despite their luminous presence, the quest to find exoplanets orbiting these stars has been elusive. Current investigations have not confirmed any exoplanets, but intriguing signs suggest that there might be more to discover.

Alnitak stands out as the youngest of the trio at about 6.4 million years old. Observations from the Spitzer Space Telescope reveal a disk with intriguing structure and brightness variations, hinting at possible planetary formations or dust clumps.

Alnilam exhibits radial velocity variations that could indicate the gravitational influence of an orbiting planet. However, the evidence remains inconclusive, leaving room for further exploration.

Mintaka, sharing similar age and characteristics with Alnitak, also shows a Spitzer disk with intriguing variability. Its age is estimated to be between 6–7 million years, making it a relatively young star in the cosmic timeline.

Humanoid Beings from Orion????

On June 11, 2019, Colombia’s largest newspaper El Tiempo reported that strange tall creatures, whose height was more than 2 meters, had been regularly seen in Guasimal since 2012. The creatures always appear at night, they have a strange robotic voice and are dressed in black.

Guasimal is a small town near the west coast of Colombia. It is a quiet place, there are no prank-loving crowds of frivolous teenagers, but mostly ordinary poor people who raise cattle, work in sugar factories, make cheese, and plant fruit and vegetable crops.

Unfortunately, no one has managed to make a video or even a photo of the humanoids or their ship yet. There are only eyewitness accounts. Most often, all these stories are mistaken for ordinary urban horror stories. However, something happened in December 2018 that slightly changed the atmosphere around the alien visits to Guasimal.

Close contact was made between the aliens and local farmer Diego Mondragon. Until December 2018, aliens had also flown to his farm, but there were no close contacts then. The Navajo people align their four sacred mountains in a way that some believe matches the pattern of Orion’s Belt. These mountains, such as San Francisco Peak, Blanca Peak, and Hesperus Mountain, are part of their spiritual beliefs.

Alien life may look nothing like life on Earth — so how should we go about looking for it?

Detecting life beyond Earth

Since the first discovery of an exoplanet in 1995, over 5,000 exoplanets, or planets orbiting other stars, have been found.

Many of these exoplanets are small and rocky, like Earth, and in the habitable zones of their stars. The habitable zone is the range of distances between the surface of a planet and the star it orbits that would allow the planet to have liquid water, and thus support life as we on Earth know it.

The sample of exoplanets detected so far projects 300 million potential biological experiments in our galaxy — or 300 million places, including exoplanets and other bodies such as moons, with suitable conditions for biology to arise.

The uncertainty for researchers starts with the definition of life. It feels like defining life should be easy, since we know life when we see it, whether it's a flying bird or a microbe moving in a drop of water. But scientists don't agree on a definition, and some think a comprehensive definition might not be possible.

NASA defines life as a "self-sustaining chemical reaction capable of Darwinian evolution." That means organisms with a complex chemical system that evolve by adapting to their environment. Darwinian evolution says that the survival of an organism depends on its fitness in its environment.

The evolution of life on Earth has progressed over billions of years from single-celled organisms to large animals and other species, including humans.

Spectroscopy might detect signatures of oxygen in a planet's atmosphere, which microbes called blue-green algae created by photosynthesis on Earth several billion years ago, or chlorophyll signatures, which indicate plant life.

NASA's definition of life leads to some important but unanswered questions. Is Darwinian evolution universal? What chemical reactions can lead to biology off Earth?

Evolution and complexity

All life on Earth, from a fungal spore to a blue whale, evolved from a microbial last common ancestor about 4 billion years ago.

The same chemical processes are seen in all living organisms on Earth, and those processes might be universal. They also may be radically different elsewhere.

In October 2024, a diverse group of scientists gathered to think outside the box on evolution. They wanted to step back and explore what sort of processes created order in the universe — biological or not — to figure out how to study the emergence of life totally unlike life on Earth.

Two researchers present argued that complex systems of chemicals or minerals, when in environments that allow some configurations to persist better than others, evolve to store larger amounts of information. As time goes by, the system will grow more diverse and complex, gaining the functions needed for survival, through a kind of natural selection.

They speculated that there might be a law to describe the evolution of a wide variety of physical systems. Biological evolution through natural selection would be just one example of this broader law.

In biology, information refers to the instructions stored in the sequence of nucleotides on a DNA molecule, which collectively make up an organism's genome and dictate what the organism looks like and how it functions.

If you define complexity in terms of information theory, natural selection will cause a genome to grow more complex as it stores more information about its environment.

Complexity might be useful in measuring the boundary between life and nonlife.

However, it's wrong to conclude that animals are more complex than microbes. Biological information increases with genome size, but evolutionary information density drops. Evolutionary information density is the fraction of functional genes within the genome, or the fraction of the total genetic material that expresses fitness for the environment.

Organisms that people think of as primitive, such as bacteria, have genomes with high information density and so appear better designed than the genomes of plants or animals.

A universal theory of life is still elusive. Such a theory would include the concepts of complexity and information storage, but it would not be tied to DNA or the particular kinds of cells we find in terrestrial biology.

Implications for the search for extraterrestrial life

Researchers have explored alternatives to terrestrial biochemistry. All known living organisms, from bacteria to humans, contain water, and it is a solvent that is essential for life on Earth. A solvent is a liquid medium that facilitates chemical reactions from which life could emerge. But life could potentially emerge from other solvents, too.

Astrobiologists Willam Bains and Sara Seager have explored thousands of molecules that might be associated with life. Plausible solvents include sulfuric acid, ammonia, liquid carbon dioxide and even liquid sulfur.

Alien life might not be based on carbon, which forms the backbone of all life's essential molecules — at least here on Earth. It might not even need a planet to survive.

Advanced forms of life on alien planets could be so strange that they're unrecognizable. As astrobiologists try to detect life off Earth, they'll need to be creative.

One strategy is to measure mineral signatures on the rocky surfaces of exoplanets, since mineral diversity tracks terrestrial biological evolution. As life evolved on Earth, it used and created minerals for exoskeletons and habitats. The hundred minerals present when life first formed have grown to about 5,000 today.

For example, zircons are simple silicate crystals that date back to the time before life started. A zircon found in Australia is the oldest known piece of Earth's crust. But other minerals, such as apatite, a complex calcium phosphate mineral, are created by biology. Apatite is a primary ingredient in bones, teeth and fish scales.

Another strategy to finding life unlike that on Earth is to detect evidence of a civilization, such as artificial lights, or the industrial pollutant nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere. These are examples of tracers of intelligent life called technosignatures.

It's unclear how and when a first detection of life beyond Earth will happen. It might be within the solar system, or by sniffing exoplanet atmospheres, or by detecting artificial radio signals from a distant civilization.

The search is a twisting road, not a straightforward path. And that's for life as we know it — for life as we don't know it, all bets are off.

An Army Green Beret has made startling claims about encountering alien technology inside a secret underground US Navy base in 2014.

Randy Anderson, who served eight years in the Army Special Forces, was conducting weapons training at the Naval Support Activity Crane in Indiana when he and another Green Beret were escorted into an elevator and taken below ground.

'We moved down a hallway and entered an area with a marking on the wall that said 'Off-world technology,'' Anderson recalled. 'Immediately, alarm bells went off in my head. That's when the strange sh** started happening.'

Anderson described a room containing a 'metallic, basketball-sized sphere' that was 'levitating above a podium' and appeared 'unnatural.'

'[The researchers] began explaining that it had been recovered from a craft that had crashed,' he said. 'I remember them saying it was a control mechanism for the craft... and that it interacted with consciousness.'

He also described being shown a rectangular metallic object with a crystal-like screen that could wrap around a person's forearm.

'It almost looked like a mirage effect,' Anderson said. 'Above the screen, hieroglyphic symbols began to appear. It seemed to be some kind of communication tool.'

'I saw David Grusch was brave enough to come out [and] that guy had some really high level information,' Anderson said while speaking with Jesse Michels, the host of American Alchemy.

'That took a lot of risk doing that and who am I to protect my little story? I think it's important to tell it because it adds to the credibility and of all these guys that are doing it.'

Grusch - a former high-ranking intelligence official - was one of three military whistleblowers who testified under oath that they had firsthand encounters or knowledge about secret government programs involving technology that is 'non-human.'

He claimed that the US has had UFOs since 'the 1930s’ and has been secretly back-engineering them and carrying out a public disinformation campaign to prevent the details from leaking publicly.

Naval Support Activity Crane is a US Navy facility that provides technical support and engineering services for the military.

Anderson said he was at the facility to do a course in advanced weapon training, along with units of armorers, special operations and other Green Berets.

'There was only me and one other guy who was exposed to what we were exposed to,' he said.

Anderson then pulled a document that shows he was certified at Naval Support Activity Crane for completing the 'USAOCSOF-p Weapons Repair Course, but the certificate does not feature a date for when it was given.

'The [elevator] door opens, we go through a security-type checkpoint,' he said.

The soldiers said there were foreign weapons in the secret facility from Russia and China that America had captured. 'It was pretty advanced stuff,' he said.

A few moments later, Anderson spied a plaque on a door that read 'Off-world technologies' that led to the metallic orb.

He told Michels he had an uncomfortable, ominous feeling looking at the strange object.

'It could have been something that triggered an evaluation for me and this guy, and they brought us out there to see if we would react to the technology,' said Anderson.

He gave a similar interview five months prior to YouTuber UAP Gerb, where he discussed the technology in more detail.

During that discussion, Anderson described the orb 'almost looking like liquid, but it was metallic.'

'Both the items they had under there, they said somehow interacted with consciousness,' Anderson said. 'Certain people will go up to the object and it will respond.'

He suggested the response could have been related to the person's DNA or consciousness.

However, Anderson claimed something may have been done to his memories following the secret meeting below the Indiana base.

'There's a really weird component to this, and I don't know what this means, but when I think back to this particular memory and, and this never happens to me in any other thing, I get real fuzzy,' he said.

'It gets real fuzzy like almost something was purposely done to make it that way.'

Physicist Michio Kaku proposes the existence of other dimensions, also known as parallel universes, coexisting alongside our own reality. Within these dimensions, it is plausible that there are beings or entities living alongside us, despite our inability to perceive them. While the concept of alternate dimensions or universes may seem far-fetched to some, it is intricately connected to the subject of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), commonly referred to as UFO phenomena.

We live in a four-dimensional world (if time is included), but scientists propose there are more dimensions. However, they do not believe there can exist more than 11 dimensions because conditions become unstable and particles naturally collapse back down into 10 or 11 dimensions. The 12th dimension, for example, introduces a second time.

“Our understanding of reality is not complete, by far,” says Stanford University physicist Andrei Linde. “Reality exists independently of us.” If they exist, those universes are separated from ours, unreachable and undetectable by any direct measurement (at least so far). And that makes some experts question whether the search for a multiverse can ever be truly scientific.

In the realm of science, our quest for understanding alternate or higher dimensions remains ongoing. However, within the field of UFOlogy, intriguing cases have emerged suggesting the existence of not just other dimensions, but also the presence of entities residing within them. These beings seem to possess the ability to manipulate a bridge connecting their realm to ours, enabling them to embark on regular visits to our world.

Crashed UFO that ‘distorted space and time’

A very strange UFO case has been shared by American attorney Daniel Sheehan with Daily Mail. Sheehan involved in bringing UFO whistleblowers to Congress, claimed that a whistleblower told him a mind-boggling tale about a recovered crashed UFO. He revealed that a crashed UFO recovered by the US military had distorted space-time and was “bigger on the inside.” The whistleblower has reportedly briefed Senate Intelligence Committee staff on the matter.

According to Sheehan, one of the alleged recoveries described by the insider involved a 30-foot saucer partially embedded in the earth. When attempts were made to remove it using a bulldozer, the craft exhibited unusual behavior. As it was being pulled out, it seemingly detached in a pie slice-shaped section, suggesting that it was constructed in a unique way.

The anonymous whistleblower then entered the craft and was astonished to find that the interior was as large as a football stadium, while the exterior was only about 30 feet in diameter. The experience inside caused disorientation and nausea due to the vast size discrepancy. Furthermore, upon exiting the craft in a few minutes, the whistleblower found that four hours had passed outside, indicating time distortion as well.

Sheehan mentions that the craft’s distortion of space and time is consistent with the theories proposed by physicists regarding advanced propulsion systems. These theories suggest that warping space-time could be used to counteract the effects of gravity and achieve advanced forms of propulsion. However, Sheehan does not provide further specific details, such as the location or date of the incident, and admits to being unable to provide concrete evidence to support these claims.

Moreover, on Jesse Michels’ show, astronomer and UFO researcher Jacques Vallee discussed another UFO case that includes experiencing another dimension by the witness. Valle said: “There was one case in San Jose. A woman had seen something over her house. It was a big disc, and I say, ‘How big was it?’ And she says, ‘Well, it was about the same size as her house. It was, you know, just like that.’ Then I say, ‘Well, when you went inside, you said, uh, you know, there was this being, and the being took you on a staircase.’ I say, ‘Where did the staircase go?’ Well, the staircase went up the side of this big round room. I say, ‘How would you compare it?’ Well, like a movie house, you know, like an M5 theater. I said, ‘That’s bigger than your house.’”

Luis Elizondo, the man who managed the UFO program inside the Pentagon, explains how space-time distortion works and hints that we can manipulate this physics for technological advancement. In an interview with George Knapp in 2018, Elizondo explains:

“Space-time is something we observe in the natural world all the time, especially in relation to gravity and GPS satellites. The clocks on these satellites need constant calibration. Even though the clocks on the satellites are identical to the ones on the ground station, they still require regular calibration. The reason for this is the effect of Earth’s gravity on space-time. The clocks on Earth run slightly slower compared to the clocks on the platforms above Earth.

How is this possible if the clocks are the same? Well, it’s because the closer you are to a massive object, like Earth, the more space-time warps. This phenomenon is explained by the theory of general relativity, which boils down to using the equation E=mc². Essentially, it means that a significant amount of mass or energy warps space-time. When you approach a supermassive object like the sun, the distortion becomes even greater. In fact, near a black hole, time becomes so distorted that it virtually stops.

We have observed this phenomenon through gravitational lensing when studying distant galaxies. We can actually see the effects of gravity on space-time with our own eyes, so it’s a scientific fact, not fiction. The question now is how we can manipulate this physics for technological advancement. Potentially, we could warp space-time in a way that allows us to travel from point A to point B more quickly.”

Is it possible that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization has already accomplished this kind of technology and has been using it to visit our world? Or perhaps we already have such technology?

In 2021, leaked documents revealed that the US Navy had conducted experiments on various far-fetched technologies, including a “space modification weapon.” These documents, disclosed by The War Zone, detailed the research carried out by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) between 2017 and 2019. The most interesting thing is that the technology written in those documents discusses propulsion system that defies gravity, or to devastating weapons that bends the laws of physics and craft that alters the fabric of time and space.

The man behind all the patents is Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais, who is an aerospace engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). He has four patents registered in his name that contain the source of technology that would change the world. In these patents, a “Spacetime Modification Weapon” (SMW, a weapon that can make the Hydrogen bomb seem more like a firecracker, in comparison) is mentioned.

Are these patents a cover for the reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology? The Navy’s objective in testing this conceptual system was to keep pace with similar programs being developed in China. The researchers believed that the space modification weapon could revolutionize power and propulsion systems. The technology was based on the “Pais effect” aimed to push the boundaries of science.

Pais made ambitious claims about the potential of this technology, suggesting that it could lead to a propulsion system defying gravity or devastating weapons that bend the laws of physics. He even outlined plans for a “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft” capable of altering the fabric of time and space.

Coulthart says, “I think the real reason that’s at the heart of this is knowing, as I do from the sources that I’ve spoken to, that the United States definitely has recovered technology. I think that there is a Cold War battle underway for the attempt to try to replicate that technology, to reverse engineer it. This has been going on since at least the end of World War II, incredibly. And it hasn’t been very successful, but the Americans are aware that the Russians have got similar technology, and so have the Chinese.”

Mitchell questioned Coulthart about the evidence he had personally seen or whether he was relying solely on second-hand reports. Coulthart replied, “This is why I’m not a hundred percent… I try and talk a little bit legalistically. I don’t believe that we’re Beyond Reasonable Doubt yet. I think on the balance of probabilities, yes, I do think that we have what are called biologics. I do think that they have recovered biological material and bodies, and I’ve actually spoken to people who’ve told me that they’ve seen bodies.”

Coulthart acknowledged that he had not personally witnessed UFOs or bodies but had formed his opinion based on the accounts of numerous individuals who had provided evidence over the course of several years. These individuals, some of whom have testified under oath, have described encounters with entities that fit the classic description of “Grays/Greys.”

“Most of the descriptions that I’ve heard concur with the classic gray shape: the large head, enormous eyes, very little if any nose, barely discernible slit of a mouth, no ears—essentially, the classic three-foot to four-foot-high gray.”

Coulthart speculated about the possibility of the UFO truth becoming public knowledge in the near future, suggesting that within 12 to 18 months, the world might have a clearer understanding of the mysterious phenomenon of UAPs and UFOs. “I think that the world will probably know publicly within, I suspect, 12 to 18 months,” he said.

Coulthart also discussed the issue of secrecy in Washington, highlighting that there are thousands of special access programs in which sensitive information is protected and does not leak to the public. He mentioned that even though notable investigative journalists have uncovered significant secrets, there are many that remain hidden from the public eye.

Coulthart said, “David Grusch laughed when I said that term because I asked him the same question, and I said, ‘You know, you guys can’t keep a secret in Washington, for God’s sake, the place leaks.’ And he laughed because he was briefed into 2,000-plus special access programs, most of which he says have never leaked secrets that are integral to U.S. national security programs that are still protected.”

When asked about the most impressive revelation from his interview with David Grush, Coulthart pointed to Grusch’s admission that there have been multiple retrievals of non-human craft and entities, which he refers to as “biologics” or non-human intelligence beings. In the world of UFO research, the name of retired Army sergeant Clifford Stone is nearly a legend. Stone claimed to have been serving for 22 years as a Decorated Vietnam combat veteran. Stone claimed in his old interviews that during his military service, he was monitored by an individual whose rank he was never told but whom he called “Colonel.” The colonel was present at UFO crash retrieval locations and led debriefing sessions of Stone. He noted that the colonel allowed him to read a three-inch thick notebook manual that contained information on 57 types of extraterrestrial biological entities (EBEs) known to the military.

He said that many species looked like humans, but their eyes were slightly larger and had black iris. According to him, extraterrestrial species contacted only through telepathy and could even read minds.

In 1973, Stone was involved in the retrieval of a crashed UFO. He hid a small metallic piece of UFO in his shoe and buried it near his property in New Mexico, Nevada, after his retirement in 1989.

He said: “Yes, I have it and wouldn’t dare to keep it in the house. I had it here to show some people where I kept it, a day longer than I should have and then somebody actually came here and tried to take it. That was some tense moments, I almost shot somebody that day.”

But the whole situation is, we have setback, we’ve told the American people that there’s no such thing as UFOs. I’ve been involved where we have recovered these objects, we know them to be of extraterrestrials.

In 1969, I had an event that happened to me while I was stationed at Fort Lee Virginia. We went to Indiantown Gap Pennsylvania that would be my first exposure to any time that we would be recovering an unidentified flying object. When we went there, we already had people that were in the facility with a backup team which was supposed to be NBC because there were supposed to be some nuclear materials that were on board this craft.

Later on, most people involved were told that there was nothing on board. It was nothing more than to crash at one of our aircraft. I know better because I was one of the people that approached it with a Geiger counter to get surface readings. I was the first person to go ahead and see that there were bodies on it that would be the first of approximately 12 events.

UFO crashes are not events that take place every day. They’re rare. I know we’re not alone in the universe. I know that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, it’s evidence that has been denied to the American people. I stand before you today and my Almighty God, and I tell you this: if the Congress calls me in and says: ‘Will you testify in detail what you know?’ I stand here today prepared and ready to do just that, governments must never lie to the people for no reason. Thank you.”

One creature went to Betty’s father while the other four came to her, and one of them started talking with her telepathically. The one who was made telepathic contact with Betty was about 5 feet tall, while others were shorter than him. The description by the witnesses was similar to the modern illustration of grey aliens. They had only slits on their mouth, three fingers in one hand, and wore a blue-colored one-piece suit.

Betty was frightened but at the same time, she felt calm by the friendly nature of the beings. They did not harm any member of the family and even released her daughter from a state of unawareness. Then the family was put to bed by the beings and the aliens left. What’s more, she forgot about her abduction until undergoing hypnotherapy in later years.

Betty said in some of her interviews that the creatures were angelic in nature but not biblical. She is a religious person, had only some school education and did not understand much about UFOs. Only after this bizarre experience, she understood that whatever she had experienced that 

In 1975, Dr. Allen J Hynek posted an ad in the newspaper to learn more about the abduction experiences and asked help from common people. Betty answered his ad by sending a letter, but it was rejected due to its unusual details. It was only in 1977 when her case was deeply investigated by the experts including a solar physicist, an electronics engineer, an aerospace engineer, a telecommunications specialist, and a UFO investigator.

Her case was first investigated by Jules Vaillancourt, a Mutual UFO Network investigator in 1977. He said: “What I found most amazing about Betty was her ability to draw. The detail of the (space) craft and the beings she drew under hypnosis were such that it really made me believe there was something to this.”

He also added that the detective who had given a psychological stress evaluation to Betty and her daughter believed in her story. She even spoke the language of aliens under hypnosis. Her case investigation continued for 12 months where she and her daughter had gone through hypnosis sessions, lie detector tests, and a psychiatric interview. Both mother and daughter passed them with a genuine reaction. Author and UFO researcher Raymond E. Fowler wrote five books on her UFO experiences that include the famous “The Andreasson Affair” series.

During one of her hypnotic regression sessions, she remembered one of the early abductions that occurred to her in childhood. It took place in 1950 when she was taken from her home into a spacecraft as usual. But this time, the craft was flying toward an ocean or sea. She was terrified that the craft would crash into the water. But the ship submerged into the water and entered into a kind of tunnel. Betty could see everything underwater, as the place was filled with light. What she said next under hypnosis is so bizarre that even gave a chill to Fowler.

She saw people from all eras, different races, encased in the glass container. Fowler called it “The Museum of Time.” Betty said that people in the container were in old-fashioned clothes, and there were uncountable cubicles with humans inside at that underwater base.

Fowler wrote that when he listened to her one of the regression session recordings, his mind blew up as he found it difficult to believe. “A cold chill coursed through my body when Betty was describing people and animals enclosed in glassy cubicles in an icy cavern.”

Betty traveled a lot across the country, attending numerous TV interviews and radio shows and lecturing about her UFO experiences. She and her husband Bob Luca had been unsettled for many years until 1995 when they moved to Virginia. They lived in VA for 5 years and then moved to Florida. Shed died on March 18, 2022.
