Paul Kimball's UFO Debunking and Irrationality

     Every so often I find a UFO debunking piece that illustrates the irrationality of the debunkers’ arguments despite the educational background of the debunker. For example, Dr. Isaac Asimov who wrote more than 300 books, mostly on scientific topics and many Science Fiction tomes made the following claim, “If aliens were visiting Earth, they would either land and make themselves known, or keep hidden. If they do neither, they are not visiting.” How extraordinary that a world class sci-fi writer can’t think of other scenarios, some place in between the noted extremes. He certainly gives no rationale. He has not claimed to be himself in touch with ETs or to have studied the evidence presented by witnesses to actual ET behavior. One might say it illustrates arrogance combined with ignorance.

My nephew Paul Kimball has a law degree and has spent a lot of time “studying UFOs”; in mid August he penned a piece about which one can only shake one’s head and ask where that nonsense came from. He starts by saying “here are the reasons why I am completely convinced there was no ET Crash.
If aliens had sufficiently advanced technology of the kind that would permit travel to the stars (and I have talked to enough scientists to know just how mind blowingly advanced this would have to be, Stan Friedman and his nuclear rockets balderdash not withstanding) then it beggars belief that they would crash in spaceships that looked like something out of a 1950s sci-fi B movie once they got here (much less crash multiple times, as some posit, including Stan).” As noted in the book “"Science Was Wrong"” by myself and Kathleen Marden, there were loads of scientists who were totally negative about flight in the air and then flight in space. I don’t know how Paul knows what the Roswell crashed saucer looked like . . . lots of reports of small light weight pieces of wreckage . . . not like a spaceship at all.

Notice the assumption that the same small vehicle that crashed at Roswell, or Aztec, or the Plains of San Agustin came to earth directly from another star system. Is he really unaware that flight in the atmosphere of a planet is a very different business than flight in deep space between stars? Wow! Lift, drag, heating, gravity etc., are very different for airborne vehicles than for deep space rockets. We have many reports of huge mother ships into and out of which the small earth excursion modules fly.

The Lunar excursion modules which landed on the moon were extraordinarily different from the huge Saturn V rockets which were launched from Earth with the LEMs on Board. Surely he (with a very strong background in history) is aware that even as far back as the epic battles of World War II, there were huge aircraft carriers which carried a bunch of small airplanes to the locations from which these aircraft flew. The carriers didn’t fly, and the aircraft didn’t float on the water. The carriers carried fuel for the airplanes and provided housing, food, ammunition for the pilots, etc. The aircraft are far more maneuverable than are the carriers. Despite all the aircraft in a huge variety of sizes, speeds, etc., there are loads of crashes. Two huge and expensive space shuttles crashed.

Paul has another sword which he wields, ”However, allowing for the equally infinitesimal [based on what?] possibility that Murphy’s Law applies to super advanced aliens, It beggars belief that they would just leave the remains of the ship and their dead comrades to be found by beings, who, as Stan puts it, were here to observe us because we might be dangerous someday soon.” In actuality, I have suggested more than 20 reasons for coming here. Furthermore we are already dangerous. We killed 50 Million of our own kind in WWII. We destroyed 1700 cities. We have exploded 2000 nuclear (there is that word again) warheads. Not dangerous?

Additionally, there certainly were later sightings near the Roswell crash site that might well have been aliens looking for their fallen comrades. I doubt if they worried much about our duplicating their technology. Christopher Columbus could not have duplicated a nuclear submarine or a radio or computer chip. After all we Earthlings have left many of our dead behind. Check out "By Any Means Necessary: America's Secret Air War in the Cold War" by William Burrows. 166 US military men were in planes “tickling” radar sets in North Korea, China, and Russia just after World War II . . . and being shot down. We didn’t go after them (starting WW III) and their families weren’t told about what happened to them until 50 years later in 2001. We didn’t attack Russia when they downed Gary Powers U-2.

Yet Paul asks “How can we be asked to believe that they would let we warlike creatures have their technology? “ Why does he think we would have been able to duplicate it? Has he no concept of how difficult it would be? Moreover, he pontificates as a supposed expert on alien behavior and technology, “if they had the ability to get here from another star system, then they would certainly have had the ability to collect or vaporize the wreckage.” One might note that we earthlings have had the ability with nuclear (that word again) weapons to vaporize all the civilizations. Yet we have exploded 2000 nuclear warheads, but only 2 on people; funny how countries agree not to use poison gas.

Paul also pontificates about keeping secrets, “It beggars belief again that the United States government could have maintained what must be [why?] such a vast conspiracy to this day to keep it all quiet. History tells us that the reason they are kept for a very long time successfully is that they are always confined to only a few people. As soon as they start expanding the circle of knowledge, then the wheels fall off.” Now that is real balderdash! The definition for balderdash is “senseless prate, a jargon of words, noisy nonsense.” Yes, Paul you hit it on the head. There were 12000 people at Bletchley Park in the UK secretly working on intercepting, decoding, translating and carefully distributing German military communications in the early 1940s. Not one word in public until 25 years after the war was over. The Lockheed Stealth aircraft was developed at a cost of $10 Billion over 10 years in secret utilizing thousands of people. At one time the Manhattan Project involved 60,000 people in secret. The National Reconnaissance Organization contracted with Boeing on new spy satellite architecture and then cancelled the program. That involved thousands of people in secret at a cost of $13 Billion. The development of the first successful US spy satellite in the “Corona” program was kept secret for more than 30 years. The first one (after 12 expensive failures), obtained more information about Soviet military installations than all the U-2 spy planes that preceded it. Many more than a few people were involved.

Now let us look at “Stan Friedman’s nuclear rockets balderdash.” It is quite clear that when engineers and scientists want to control large amounts of energy, they go nuclear. When it comes to bombs, a big bomb in WWII released the energy of 10 tons of dynamite in 1944. In July 1945 the first nuclear fission bomb released the energy of 16 thousand tons of dynamite; by 1952 the first nuclear fusion weapon (Mike) released the energy of 10 million tons of TNT. The Russians later set off a fusion (H-Bomb) one releasing the energy of more than 50 million tons of TNT.

The US Navy, admittedly a bit larger than our Canadian navy, built their first NUCLEAR submarine in 1956; able to sail around the planet underwater. Submarines in WWII could stay underwater for all of 24 hours. Years later the first NUCLEAR fission powered aircraft carriers operate for 18 years without refueling. Three different organizations successfully operated NUCLEAR fission rockets at the NUCLEAR test site in Nevada. They were Westinghouse Astronuclear Laboratory (I worked on their NRX A-6 at a power level of 1100 megawatts); Aerojet General operated the XE-1 at a power level of 1000 megawatts. Los Alamos operated the Phoebus 2B at a power level of 4400 megawatts or twice the power of Grand Coulee Dam, less than 8’ in diameter. There are no fission nuclear reactors in Nova Scotia where Paul lives. We here in the neighboring province of New Brunswick have the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station, a fission power- plant producing 2200 megawatts. I and many others worked on studies of fusion rockets able to eject charged particles having ten million times as much energy per particle as in a dumb old chemical rocket. Many papers have been published but I suppose Paul hasn’t seen any.

It should be noted that almost all the energy in the universe comes from nuclear fusion in the stars. Why Paul is in denial about nuclear rockets I don’t know, though I suppose lawyers don’t dig into such matters. I should note that my book “Flying Saucers and Science” has pictures of several real nuclear rocket engines

The real balderdash is that one should theorize for ever about alien activities and motivation, but avoid the facts; however—it is the evidence that matters. Of course there might be advanced propulsion systems that can outdo nuclear fusion. They are not needed to get us out there and certainly not needed to get aliens here. Let us not forget that nearby stars are already within reach, if we want to spend the money. We didn’t even find out that there was such a process as nuclear fusion until 1938—a very short time ago indeed. We now know that there are planets all over the place many of them have to be much older than earth.

Paul may think “nuclear rockets are balderdash” and only small groups can keep secrets. He probably is aware that many nuclear facilities had UFO sightings back in the 1940s. These included reports near Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee and Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico and the Hanford Atomic works up in eastern Washington state. Furthermore as delineated by Robert Hastings and Robert Salas, there have been UFO observations where missiles on which were mounted nuclear weapons had been shut down by the aliens. The notion that that only small groups can keep a secret is put to rest by the fact that this year the US black budget is about fifty billion.

A story that combines UFO cover-ups with the assassination of John F. Kennedy is a gold mine for conspiracy theorists. And that's just what author William Lester says he uncovered while conducting research for a new book on Kennedy: a memo written by JFK and addressed to the CIA in which the president requests confidential information about UFOs.

In the never-before-seen, top secret memo supposedly written on Nov. 12, 1963, the president ordered the CIA director to organize the agency's intelligence files relating to UFOs , and to debrief him on all "unknowns" by the following February. Ten days later, Kennedy was assassinated.

I have worked on and written for many UFO publications around the world over the last 30 plus years that I’ve been involved with ufology. The very first one was the YUFOS JOURNAL put together by myself, the late Graham Birdsall and his brother Mark Birdsall. YUFOS was of course the Yorkshire UFO Society and its journal was produced on an old printer cranked by hand. It was hard work at times but the one thing I do remember most is that it was great fun. We all got a great sense of satisfaction from producing it.  That very same sense of satisfaction has once again come to the fore with UFO TODAY.  Of course the look of it, the production quality and graphics and everything else are worlds away from where I started. But the one thing that is here is the fun, the enjoyment and the great satisfaction that I feel when I see the finished product in front of me. UFO TODAY is a joy to work on. It is a melting pot of ufology and I can only hope that you can fee the sense of satisfaction I have with it and find something within its pages just for you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to issue 1. Without them this magazine simply would not have been possible.  There is of course always room for more contributions and if you are interested in writing for us please just drop me a line.

Human beings sure are funny. Various tribes, empires, and ethnic groups have defined themselves as “humans” and every body else as sub-human animals for centuries. As a tool for conquest, the concept of “race” has been useful for the past five hundred to a thousand years.

Define a people as a “race” of sub-humans and subvert the idea of human rights, property rights and humanity.  That’s been going on for centuries. I just came across something called the Index of Nigresence, seen below. which def’ines Anglo-Saxons, a TRIBE, as a “superior” RACE.

In much of the pseudo-scientific literature of the day the Irish were held to be inferior, an example of a lower evolutionary form, closer to the apes than their “superiors”, the Anglo-Saxons . Cartoons in Punch portrayed the Irish as having bestial, ape-like or demonic features and the Irishman, (especially the political radical) was invariably given a long or prognathous jaw, the stigmata to the phrenologists of a lower evolutionary order, degeneracy, or criminality. Thus John Beddoe, who later became the President of the Anthropological Institute (1889-1891), wrote in his Races of Britain(1862) that all men of genius were orthognathous (less prominent jaw bones) while the Irish and the Welsh were prognathous and that the Celt was closely related to Cromagnon man, who, in turn, was linked, according to Beddoe, to the “Africanoid”. The position of the Celt in Beddoe’s “Index of Nigrescence” was very different from that of the Anglo-Saxon. These ideas were not confined to a lunatic fringe of the scientific community, for although they never won over the mainstream of British scientists they were disseminated broadly and it was even hinted that the Irish might be the elusive missing link! Now, we take tribal politics and ethnicity, merge it with a mishmash of psuedo-scientific jargon, and filter our worldview in those terms. Now the Chinese, Japanese, Arabs, Persians, are swinging back in to power, and the whole concept of “race” gets turned on its head. 

And, while all of this concept of human races, racial superiority, tribal arrogance and jingoism comes running in the front door, we want to add another confused alien neighborhood to the mix. Some of us are trying to define alien species, analyse their behavior in terms of our own behavior, as we try to put them in our world, our behavioral lexicon, when they exist in their own and inhabit ours.

Who are the superior/inferior, when we are talking about creatures who exist beyond this world, in other dimensions, star systems and spiritual/technical levels? What does their behavior mean? How can we predict or analyse their behaviors when we are confused and twisted about our  own?  We barely, if at all, understand ourselves.

The word “race”, interpreted to mean common descent, was introduced into English in about 1580, from the Old French rasse (1512), from Italian razza, which may have been derived from the Arabic Word “ras” “رأس” meaning the head of someone or something. In this context, “ras” points to the root or the head of selected species. The etymology can be further traced back to Latin gens or Arabic “genat” “جينات” meaning clan, stock or people and genus meaning birth, descent, origin, race, stock, or family, and cognate with Greek genos (γένος) “race, kind,” and gonos “birth, offspring, stock [...].”^[1] This late origin for the English and French terms is consistent with the thesis that the concept of “race” as defining a small number of groups of human beings based on lineage dates from the time of Christopher Columbus. Older concepts, which were also based at least partly on common descent, such as nation and tribe entail a much larger number of groupings.

During the Age of Enlightenment, Europeans tried to define race as a biological concept, in keeping with their scientific ideas. In the centuries that followed, scholars made attempts to classify and define racial types, and to determine racial origins and correlates. As forensic anthropologists, biomedical researchers, and other scholars have collected and analyzed data on individuals and populations, some maintain that race denotes scientifically practical distinctions. A while ago,  a couple  of folks starting a thread about extraterrestrial conciousness, dreaming and how we could plan space exploration around the idea that there are creatures out there who represent different species, different concious levels, and totally alien trains of thought–literally.

“Paul Gilster, the author of Centauri Dreams: Imagining and Planning Interstellar Exploration and the curator of Centauri Dreams, posted a thoughtful discussion of a blog entry I wrote (titled What’s The Connection Between Deafness and SETI?)

His discussion and the resulting comments were fascinating, and in this post I want to carry on that conversation. I want to ask: Will extraterrestrials be so different from us as to be truly incomprehensible?

I think the answer is no. And yes. 

In one of the comments, Christopher Phoenix argued that aliens could be so different from us as to be incomprehensible. He wrote,

“How can we expect to use extraterrestrials as a mirror for human behavior? If aliens are completely different from humans—both physiologically and psychologically—t  [sic] may be very hard to use them as Earth human analogues. Imagine that we discover a an alien civilization with a similar pattern to social insects like bees on Earth. Perhaps the alien queen mother will wonder why Earth’s President doesn’t just kill and eat her opponents instead of holding an election ever five years, while the humans are utterly horrified over juvenile aliens’ habit of eating their weaker siblings.” MOREHERE.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. Albert Einstein Top Secret Alien Document

In June of 1947 Albert Einstein and J. Robert Oppenheimer together wrote a TOP SECRET six page document entitled "Relationships with Inhabitants of Celestial Bodies".

It says the presence of unidentified spacecraft is accepted as de facto by the military.

It also deals with where do they come from, what should we do in the event of colonization and/or integration of peoples, and why are they here? Finally, the document addresses the presence of celestial astroplanes in our atmosphere as a result of actions of military experiments with fission devices of warfare. Einstein and Oppenheimer encourage consideration of our potential future situation and safety due to our present and past actions in space. How can we avoid a perilous fate?

Relationships with extraterrestrial men presents no basically new problem from the standpoint of international law; but the possibility of confronting intelligent beings that do not belong to the human race would bring up problems whose solution it is difficult to conceive. In principle, there is no difficulty in accepting the possibility of coming to an understanding with them, and of establishing all kinds of relationships.

If these intelligent beings were in possession of a more or less culture, and a more or less perfect political organization, they would have an absolute right to be recognized as independent and sovereign peoples. Another possibility may exist, that a species of Homo sapiens might have established themselves as an independent nation on another celestial body in our solar system and evolved culturally independently from ours. Living conditions on these bodies let’s say the moon,-or the planet Mars, would have to be such as to permit a stable, and to a certain extent, independent life, from an economic standpoint.

Hypothetically other planets may have life forms. Water has been found on our Moon and Mars that can be separated into hydrogen and oxygen, using an electric current or the short wave radiation of the sun. The oxygen could be used for breathing purposes; the hydrogen night be used as a fuel. There is indication that the inhabitants of celestial bodies, or extraterrestrial biological entitle (EBE) desire to settle here.

1. If they are politically organized and possess a certain culture similar to our own, they may be recognized as an independent people.
2. If they consider our culture to be devoid of political unity, they would have the right to colonize. Of course, this colonization cannot be conducted on classic lines. A superior form of colonizing will have to be conceived, that could be a kind of tutelage, possibly through the tacit approval of the United Nations. We cannot exclude the possibility that a race of extraterrestrial people more advanced technologically and economically may take upon itself the right to occupy another celestial body.
   

The division of a celestial body into zones and the distribution of them among other celestial states. A moral entity? The most feasible solution it seem would be this one, submit an agreement providing for the peaceful absorption of a celestial race(s) in such a manner that our culture would remain intact with guarantees that their presence not be revealed. It would merely be a matter of internationalizing celestial peoples, and creating an international treaty instrument.

The presence of unidentified space craft flying in our atmosphere (and possibly maintaining orbits about our planet) is now accepted by our military. Military strategists foresee the use of space craft with nuclear warheads as the ultimate weapon of war. Attack no longer comes from an exclusive direction, nor from a determined country, but from the sky, with the practical impossibility of determining who the aggressor is.

When artificial satellites and missiles find their place in space, we must consider the potential threat that unidentified space craft pose. One must consider the fact that miss-identification of these space craft for an intercontinental missile in a re-entry phase of flight could lead to accidental nuclear war.

Alien Craft Sightings by Astronauts

 According to un-confirmed reports, both Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin saw UFOs shortly after that historic landing on the Moon in Apollo 11 on 21 July 1969. According to the NASA Astronaut Neil Armstrong, “The Aliens have a base on the Moon and they told us in no uncertain terms to get off and stay off the Moon.”

According to a former NASA employee Otto Binder, radio hams with their own VHF receiving facilities that bypassed NASA's broadcasting outlets picked up the following exchange:

STAR SHIELD Hudson Valley Boomerang revisited (1 of 4 Parts)

Michael Schratt writes, “Between 1983 and 1989 over 25,000 eyewitnesses reported seeing large black flying “V” or boomerang shaped craft over the Hudson Valley New York area. The strange craft was also reported over New England and New Jersey.” The mysterious object was seen by pilots, air traffic controllers, computer programmers, police officers, lawyers, teachers, and businessmen. Essentially, people from all walks of life were eyewitnesses to an extraordinary series of sightings.

Many people reported a flying wing shaped craft that flew silently, and which measured between 300, and 900 feet across. In addition, eyewitness reports indicated that the craft had multi-colored flashing white, red, and green lights on its bottom surface. Those that were directly below the craft as it flew overhead described its bottom surface as looking like multiple “tubes, pipes, and cylinders”. Others described it as an “inverted Midas Muffler shop”

Ground breaking research by late researcher and aviation expert Tony Gonsalves has identified another startling characteristic of this amazing craft. Multiple eyewitnesses reported seeing “transparent panels” on its bottom surface. Those viewing the craft from directly below stated that they could see through these panels, and could clearly identify what looked like steel/structural girder and cross-beams…..like a truss bridge”. Would an alien spacecraft exhibit such characteristics? One of the earliest reports of a “V” or boomerang shaped craft occurred on the night of December 31, 1982 (five minutes before the New Year). Residents of Kent Cliffs NY, observed a strange object which was seen to glide silently over their homes. Traffic on nearby Interstate 84 came to a screeching halt as an object the size of a football field slowly drifted over the highway. One such individual who got a very close look at the craft was IBM program manager Ed Burns (resident of Yorktown heights).

Mr. Burns was driving north on the Teconic Freeway on March 24, 1983 when he spotted a formation of lights that flew directly over his vehicle. He noticed a huge chevron shaped craft which was moving silently very slowly. When he reached the Millwood area, he noticed that 12 cars had pulled off to the side of the road. It was at this point that he saw a gigantic triangular shaped craft which had lights running all around it. Burns commented: “If there is such thing as a flying city, this was a flying city. It was not a small craft. It was huge”. Due to his credibility and experience handling overseas accounts for IBM, his solid testimony was never challenged by skeptics or debunkers. The Manchester NH Union Ledger reported multiple eyewitnesses saw a strange flying craft on October 31st, 1983. One such individual (Sharon Dube of Dover), stated that she saw a silent triangular flying craft around 9:00 PM while returning home. Ms. Dube stated that the craft did not fly like a conventional aircraft, but appeared to hover, and change direction rapidly.

On the night of May 26, 1988 the mysterious boomerang shaped craft was seen over Connecticut. Hundreds of people contacted local and state police to report a huge object with high intensity lights flying low over the towns of Newton and Southbury. One eyewitness who saw mysterious lights was commercial airline pilot Randy Etting. Mr. Etting saw the lights from his home around 9:45 PM. He motioned that there were eight different colored lights that were flying close together without a sound. Using a pair of 7X35 binoculars, he was able to determine that the lights were absolutely connected to one large object. While observing the craft from his home near I-84, dozens of people pulled over to view the craft as it passed overhead. Thanks to Michael Schratt

Missouri Battle of UFOs

Cassville -- Mae Condray writes, “I saw two objects that were engaged in a battle to the death about the middle of September.” The local triangular shaped object that hangs out in my area on a regular basis has large beams of strobbing red lights almost like a police car. Two other objects joined him in the battle against a saucer shaped object that came sailing in from the northeast. This object had no lights on it, and the three objects combined and destroyed the saucer shaped object. The debris looked like pieces of pie so I figured it must have been saucer shaped.

I assume if they had been inside the atmosphere there would have been a lot of noise when the saucer exploded. The whole event took about 30 seconds from beginning to end. I shudder to think if the unknown object had won the battle. I am in touch with Joe Polermo of the Missouri MUFON group. Thanks to Mae Condray

Brazil UFO seen in North Carolina

 Lynne writes, “I saw this same thing twice in NC over the Pamlico Sound; the next day I saw this video from S.E. Michigan -- am I seeing a UFO or is this some kind of aircraft maneuvers??

Peru – Crashed UFO Was Hit by Something

Marine Corps Lance Corporal John Weygandt, who was part of the Disclosure Project, was sent to Peru in March 1997, to provide perimeter security for a radar installation that he was told tracked drug traffic aircraft. He states, “About midnight, while I was on guard duty, Sergeant Allen and Sergeant Atkinson told me, an aircraft crashed and they need us to go and secure the crash site.” Early that morning we drove six Hummers close to the crash site just when it started to get light. We found the area real easy because there was a huge gash in the land where something had crashed. Everything was burned and it was like something had almost cut warm butter with a knife. It was like something on fire or had some kind of energy like a laser had cut it. It was really strange. I was in the front with my sergeants ten meters ahead of everyone else. We were the first ones to see this thing. It had gone up the hill and then off in the side of the ravine and ridge. This was a 200-foot ridge, of solid rock. A huge craft was buried at a 45-degree angle in the side of the cliff there at the ridge. It was straight up and down.

The craft was dripping a greenish-purple syrup-like liquid everywhere that fluctuated like it was alive and changing to a different shade of greenish purple. The craft was humming like a bass guitar and had a slowly turning light. Most of the craft seemed buried into the cliff but vents, like a fish gill were on the back. The liquid got on my clothes and ate holes in them and burned off some the hair on my arms. There were three holes in the ship that may have been hatches that were not flush with the main body of the craft. There was another hatch that was kind of crooked to the side and half open. I felt this strange presence and I think the creatures calmed me and were trying to communicate with me telepathically.  The Corporal estimated the craft was about 20 meters in length and ten meters in width and shaped like an egg or teardrop.

The skin of the craft had bumps and notches and appendages on it. It was really organic and almost like art. It looked like something that could be made in a shop with handmade materials. It looked like metal but there was no reflection and was nothing like titanium. The sun was shining on it and I could see the different shades of the craft. Suddenly the Sergeants were yelling at me to get the hell out of there.

After we climbed back up, the Department of Energy people were there. They knew about it so I don’t know why we went there. I was arrested and cuffed with both hands down and all my gear was taken from me by men in black cammies who threatened me and subdued me. At the crash site there were thirty guys wearing hazard suits. I had been told aircraft were flying in and out of the atmosphere at mach ten plus. When you have objects that reenter the atmosphere and then stop on a dime and turn around – these craft are not from Earth. I knew that when I looked at it.

I wondered if those facilities were built to track UFO’s and their cover was to track drug aircraft. They had laser range finders and all kinds of high tech stuff that I have never seen before and can’t explain.  The laser range finders looked like big telescopes. There was a Command Center manned by a multi-national force. So these craft were tracked from this particular radar and had been hit, some weapons had taken it out.

Editor’s Note: Corporal Weygandt described a craft damaged by enemy action, either ours or an opposing alien force. His testimony on Page 274 of “Disclosure: Witnesses Reveal the Greatest Secrets” by Steven Greer M.D. indicates lethal deadly force was being used against alien intruders during the Clinton Administration. We can assume this war continues.

UFO Sightings in the United States

California Glowing Ball

Lake LA -- I was out in the backyard playing with my blue laser pointing it at a satellite when I saw a glowing light to the left of me because I was facing northwest. I thought it might be a helicopter or plane as they do fly in the area, but they have blinking lights that turn on over my town and you can hear the jet or heli engines. This was like a glowing ball so I turned off the laser to be safe. No marker lights ever came on and it looked like a star. No way could it be a plane as they do not have bright side lights like a star. It just looked like a gold glowing ball with no real solid surface. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Diamond

Fort Ogden – On October 29, 2013, we were up on our balcony and looking out at the ball of light that’s there almost every night. We noticed it changed to look like three lights again. It then turned vertical and red and had like a nucleus appearance to it with numbers of lights. Like a pillar of allot of red lights with another red light spinning around it like an atom symbol. It was very strange; we had a perfect view of it through the binoculars and got a pretty good shot of it with the video camera. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Waterman -- My son, his friend, and I were driving east on Lee Road at about 8:10 PM, on October 25, 2013. I noticed a large shimmering reddish bright light that was larger than a planet. It was hovering for at least five minutes. I joked about it being a UFO because it hadn’t moved. Then it got brighter and fades. It was gone roughly 10 seconds and came back and got bright then faded to a pin point then did that one more time and disappeared completely. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Indiana Orange Lights

 Noblesville -- I was standing in my driveway and noticed a strange light in the sky on October 18, 2013. I am on the flight path to Indianapolis Regional Airport and see planes frequently but this “plane” was very low and caught my attention. It flew silently over my home without navigation lights. There was no mass; it was a wing, tail, body moving between me and any of the light.

I ran to grab my camera and by the time I returned it was behind a small cloud. I noticed another one crossing the sky behind my home!

I could see four lights just above the trees and I could hear police sirens. When I reached the back of my house there was 15 to 20 in a line of them! They passed right over me in total and absolute silence! Thanks to William Puckett, Director http://www.UFOsnw.com

Kentucky Flying Wing

Pendleton County -- Glenn Pennington here again, thought I'd share a few more pictures. I have several that I will send later that verify the theory about some UFO's being Biological Machines that show what appear to be living ufos with mechanical looking arms, legs ,or landing gear and other features.

Nevada Massive Egg UFO

 Carson City—I was flying to California from Illinois on October 20, 2013 looked out the window to see this massive egg-shaped object flying by the plane.

 I took pictures of it and then a video when the object changed direction. It started flying away from the plane so eventually it just went out of sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 LAS VEGAS -- At 630 pm, on October 29, 2013, I was standing on my patio and saw a bright star southwest of Las Vegas that I thought was Venus, but it was much bigger so I got my spotter scope and saw a circle of lights with many lights in the center connecting like a spider web and floating like a leaf but whipping in the wind. It was flipping and turning slowly over as it floated. It could not be a weather balloon because of all the lights. It was interesting and I have never seen any objects in the sky like this and a couple planes flew past this object so I wonder if any passengers saw it too. I lost sight of it as it got closer to the mountains southwest of Blue Diamond. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Diamond Triangular craft

Mount Holly -- We heard a loud roaring noise outside our window at 5:15 AM, this morning on October 22, 2013, and I couldn’t figure out what it was. It sounded like a really loud jet engine taking off. We listened to it for a few minutes before we got up and see what it was. I opened the window and saw two large bright rectangular red lights hovering to the north. They were completely still, like nothing we’ve ever seen. We grabbed our binoculars and looked up at it. The craft was close so we could the craft was triangular with two large rectangular red lights and smaller lights. It hovered for about 30 seconds then slowly started moving south at the speed of a helicopter. We saw an outline of a circle on the top rear of it. North Carolina Light

Fuquay Varina -- My boyfriend and I were sitting on our porch on October 26, 201, when I spotted a glowing orb hovering in one place for about an hour. It changed into many different colors and changed shape. The UFO took off behind a tree line a lot faster than a plane could go as we videotaped. My 20 pictures and videos are time stamped because they were taken with my cell phone.

Oregon Orb

Sweet Home -- Since January 2013, I have been noticing a circular apparition in the sky to the west which I could see pulsating and changing colors. When I used my digital camera to maybe get a better shot and was surprised to see and capture color because it was in the winter months.

On October 21^st, I went outside to look at the full moon to the west and noticed the color changing orb seemed very bright and much closer! I turned towards the east and spotted another one above the treeline under the moon. There were more and I saw the object moving and a blue orbs. My camera is a Panasonic Lumix and I took more pictures showing the color changing orbs taking energy from a blue one. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Light

Chalfont – I’ve noticed this light five times in the past three weeks that is not an aircraft. I live not to far from the Willow Grove Air Base and was able to watch this object for about 30 minutes on October 25, 2013. I went into the house and came out to check on it about an hour later it was gone. It seemed to grow extremely bright at times and then dim as it was rotating. It hovered for 15 minutes and then very slowly moved east. Many airplanes and a helicopter were in the area of this object. My husband was also puzzled by this object because it was several times brighter than the picture. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Tennessee Lights

Johnson City – I noticed the lights in the sky above the parking lot on October 26, 2013, and assumed it was a Halloween thing. I shopped for a half hour and went outside and saw it again. It have me chills. I drove a mile home and the lights are above my parking lot that creeped me out so I took video of it with my iPhone and my girlfriend, she says it’s The Northern Lights,

 My Dad said send it to you guys ASAP. My phone has been acting up since I took the video too. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Texas Large Object

 Houston -- I was driving home from work on October 24, 2013, at 6:20 PM. I was stuck in traffic and looked up and there was a stationary large glowing object so I called a friend and he also saw it and said it was stationary. I drove under it and looked up through my sun roof and it was silent and high up. Then a very low flying grey aircraft flew over and was also very quiet. My friend informed me I had to pay attention to the road that there were helicopters circling it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Wenatchee -- While my wife was watching the kids at the bus stop she noticed this object hovering at high altitude and sort of bouncing around on October 22, 2013. It didn’t make noise and was moving quickly. After a few minutes it just seemed to disappear. She felt shocked and a little confused on what she was seeing. She quickly grabbed the camera and took a couple of pictures.

Utah Orange Sphere

Brigham City -- Stepped outside around 10:30 PM on October 23, 2013, to smoke and noticed an orange sphere about 30 degrees in the western sky. It was traveling east heading over my house so I quickly reached into my pocket for my Samsung 3 cell phone and I was able to get a photo. I tried to put my phone in video mode but when I looked back up, it was gone. I don’t think it could have passed over my house. Thanks to MUFON CMS

I am a MUFON Field Investigator here in Utah and just want to report this sighting in case there are any other similar sightings in the area. The picture is not as bright or big as I viewed it and it might have been a lantern, but in our small city I have not observed this before. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Triangle

Lake Stevens -- It was July 4, 2013 at 9:45 pm, and just dark enough to observe fireworks so I went outside to see a strange glowing object. It wasn’t acting like any normal fireworks, so I sprinted inside and grabbed my video camera.
When I came back outside and started recording, the light was slowly moving south silently. I figured it to be moving 2-5 mph tops. My heart was racing and the more I watched I began to realize it wasn’t normal and wasn’t a plane or helicopter. As I tried to film it disappeared like a light switch. It reappeared in the due east and twice is high the size of a tennis ball. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Phoenix -- I was getting ready for bed at 1:30 AM, when I realized this loud but subtle sound outside on October 22, 2013. At first, I thought it was a train, but it had a very powerful rumbling, low, deep tone. I checked outside to see what was really making the noise. I instantly noticed the UFO over the water, right above Titlow Park in foggy and a low cloud cover. It was 100 to 300 feet high with three lights in the shape of a triangle were very bright. They were white lights, and I was surprised that they were so easily visible. I stared out my window, shocked and excited and scared. This UFO moved from left to right very slowly over a period of ten minutes from west to northwest. At first it moved some, and then paused for a minute, and then it continued its path. At certain times it would fade into the fog, but I could still see it.

The triangle shape was not flat, so that I could see all three lights clearly in a perfect triangle shape. This scared me because it made it seem as if the UFO was watching me during its whole flight path. The UFO eventually moved northwest and disappeared. It scares me to know that it was something much more than a train, and that it was really a UFO making these noises. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Australia

Alice Springs – I saw a long strip of light starting in the western sky and flashing across the sky to the northeast and bursting into a blue flash bulb. It then disappeared on October 10, 2013 at 10.20 am.

As I was walking through the town area in the late afternoon I happened to look up as my attention was caught by this intense burst of light travelling almost as if it was a skyrocket but couldn't be because of the height of the object. Bulgaria Disc

Sofia -- These photos were taken at 10 AM Sunday, October 20, 2013, from my balcony. There are 12 more similar shots. On the pole there is a spotlight which was off at the time. The camera was a Fuji Fine Pix. I have no idea what the object was.

Note: Analysis indicates that photos are authentic and not fabricated. It appears that the object is behind the pole and not between the photographer and pole. Canada Orb

 Montreal -- I was shopping at the local grocery store along Champlain Boulevard in Ville LaSalle on October 23, 2013. When got into my car I noticed the sun with the usual chemtrails and decided to take a photo. I did not notice the orb until I opened the photo on my desktop when I got home. I don't know what it was and I would have noticed it but I did not want to look directly into the sun.

China Spheres

Shenzhen – A bunch of red and green colored led-lights were twisting high in the sky on October 21, /2013, at 18:51 hours! I saw two circles in the air, far away connected to a line of green laser dots. A red and a green circle made of colored spheres were spinning through each other. They were on for ten seconds and off from 22 until 45 seconds. When the light is off, you could see vaguely a white bend line with small white lights on the left and right side of the object.

Besides this there was a line of green dots that looked like some kind of laser that was always on shining from the object. The line was as seen from earth. I have made a video, but you can't see it very well. It moved slowly, I had to cross the street to see it again, and after 15 minutes, it was behind the buildings and I wasn't able to see it. Chile UFO Sighting Flying 'Manta Ray' Creature

 Santiago -- A recent UFO sighting in Chile is quickly going viral due to a "manta ray" flying creature being spotted by several eye witnesses.

The UFO sighting occurred on September 29, 2013, in Bustamante Park, According to first-hand eyewitness accounts, the flying creature was around 2 meters tall and was flying back and forth between trees.

"Ignacio, a young man who was the privileged witness to this brief yet disconcerting flying being sighting, does not wish to disclose his identity but made his narrative available to journalist [Juan Andrés] Salfate on Canal La Red," writes UFO Sightings Daily founder Scott Waring.

Costa Rica UFO Activity over Volcano

Arenal Volcano -- We were on vacation on September 15, 2010, at the volcano where there is UFO activity. My girlfriend and one of my uncles went to Arenal Volcano that has active lava flows every eight hours. The night before my girlfriend snapped the picture, we saw a white bright intermitting light come down to the bottom of the volcano and then disappear. A short time later it reemerged to the north over Arenal Lake.

The light went up and stopped half way up, then flew up into the clouds and disappeared. There were spotlights shining from the ground. Nasa has had a hanger at the Juan Santamaria International airport since the 1990′s and frequent sightings. Ken Pfeifer MUFON NJ www.worldufophotos.org

France large EMP discharge

Campagne Sur Aude – It appeared differently on camera than it did using a mono-scope and field-glasses on October 26, 2013. By far the most interesting event was possibly a rather large EMP discharge seen only on camera. This discharge followed a couple of smaller ones. As a former Senior Aerospace Research Engineer and private pilot this intrigued me the most and something that I had never witnessed visually. Each discharge radiates out in two invisible-to-the-eye waves from the center.

It also appeared that the flight crew was having great difficulty attempting to regain control of the craft as it lost altitude following each discharge. It did appear to regain a little more control and soon dropped down behind the mountain but its glow was strong enough that it could still be seen for many miles. 

Note that this event took place near the area of Bugarach Mountain and Rennes Le Chateau, both well known as possible energy centers. I would think that the military or police would have taken action to recover this craft that possibly made a hard semi-controlled landing but did not explode. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Iranian Air Force and Alien Craft Encounters

 Iranian jet fighters seem to have close UFO encounters of the 2nd kind on a regular basis over Iran. Our friend at Open Minds, Jason McClellan received a wonderful tip about an article published in the latest edition of Combat Aircraft Monthly, focusing in the history of the F-14 Tomcat in the Iranian Air Force. The article briefly mentions how the F-14s have been sent to intercept UFO's for the last 20 years; and even though the Iranians are convinced these unknowns are spy drones deployed by the United States, the flying capacity displayed by the objects in some of these encounters seem out of this world.

In one case in November 2004, the crew of an F-14 armed with two AIM-9Js and two AIM-7E-4s spotted a luminous object flying near the Arak heavy water plant. When the beam of the jet’s AN/AWG-9 radar “painted” the object, both the RIO and pilot saw that the radar scope was disrupted, probably due to the high magnetic energy of the object increasing the power of the reflected radar waves. The pilot described the object as being spherical, with something like a green afterburner creating a considerable amount of turbulence behind it. The Tomcat crew achieved a lock-on when the UFO was flying a constant flight path. Once the pilot selected an AIM-7E-4 to launch against it, the object increased its speed and then disappeared like a meteor. South Korea Oval

Seoul -- Twelve UFOs were spotted hovering north of Seoul before speeding off into North Korean restricted airspace. We were watching fireworks from a top a mountain with a large group and I looked back at my girlfriend and noticed something in the sky. It was very dim at first but a white oval shaped light. There were no navigational beacons and was moving too slow. Another appeared, then another eventually there were twelve of them, all in close proximity at different altitudes. Then they moved around again and started moving due north toward North Korea where nothing flies. They then stopped again and half of them disappeared. Port Louis -- I saw an object flying by our country on September 29, 2013, at 20:00 hours.

Machu Picchu -- The camera used was of low resolution, brand and model are: Canon SD1000 and only has 7.1 megapixels. My mother said they did not notice anything strange in the sky that day that everything was normal and it was in the picture I just realized, and this happened on the 29th July 2012. My mom and I are quite informed about this issue, but I can assure you that the photo is 100% real, and I’ve had experiences before. Thanks to MUFON CMS

: Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire – On October 26^th, 2013, I was a rear passenger driving towards Kirkby town centre at 2:45PM, when I noticed a silver thin rectangular shape appear in the blue sky at cloud base level. I was so shocked that I did not tell my fellow passengers because I did not want to alarm them. It had no visible wings or anything sticking out and I would say looked quite slender.
