Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

There’s this small mining town in Russia’s Far East called Dalnegorsk and on June 29, 1986 some strange stuff went down. A UFO incident witnessed by a lot of people. According to the Russian news agency Pravda, witnesses described a slowly moving (and bobbing up and down) large reddish sphere that slowly ascended and descended as it moved across a mountain range, and its glow would heat up every time it rose up. As the UFO approached one mountain top (Mount Izvestkovaya, also referred to as Height 611) it sort of “jerked” and then crashed into the mountain. Witnesses reported seeing something like an explosion. In the days after the “crash,” hundreds of witnesses said they saw three smaller spheres show up and began to act, at least to the witnesses, as if they were searching for the “crashed” sphere by doing slow sweeps over the area and sending down what appeared to be rays of light, sort of like search lights on an Army chopper. After a while of searching, the three smaller spheres sped off and that was that. Valeri Dvuzhilini of the Academy of (Soviet) Sciences was reportedly the first person (the first earth-born human, at least) to arrive on the scene two days later.
He collected samples (now referred to as alien artifacts) of what were described as strange, metallic mesh objects scattered at the site and samples of rocks and vegetation which had been scorched in the crash. This incident is widely referred to as the “Russian Roswell,” referencing the famous alleged 1947 UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico. VIVA LAS VEGAS In the 1990′s Las Vegas reporter George Knapp traveled to the crash site to investigate the case and was given a few of the charred “rocks” (pieces of metal) that were found there. A 2012 story in the Huffington Post says Knapp was told by the Ruskies: “Three Soviet academic centers and 11 research institutes analyzed the objects from this UFO crash. The distance between atoms (in the found metal) is different from ordinary iron. Radar cannot be reflected from the material. Elements in the material may disappear and new ones appear after heating. One piece disappeared completely in front of four witnesses. The core of the material is composed of a substance with anti-gravitational properties.” Today you can see those pieces of UFO metal that were given to Knapp at the The National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. LEAP OF FAITH
Location: Putre, Chile – June 27-28, 1974
Young Bolivian student Lucio Quevedo Lazarte was sleeping in his room when a noise coming from the living room woke him up. Going to investigate he was confronted by a man with very short white hair, wearing a tight-fitting shiny black outfit that ended in a closed turtleneck. On his arm he wore a bracelet and his hands were enclosed in dark gloves. He also wore a strange metallic belt with several sphere and rhomboid shaped object clinging from it. Lucio at first thought that the stranger was a thief and begged him not to steal the curtains. The entity answered him by saying: “I could changed that what you call a curtain for something of more value.” At that moment the humanoid took out of his belt one of the rhomboid shaped objects and placed it in front of Lucio’s face, at this time Lucio lost consciousness. Later he woke up from a kind of trance and the stranger had already gone. He went back to bed and covered himself completely even though he was unable to sleep after that.
The next day, Lucio woke up in his bed stiff, pale and unable to move. A local police doctor attended to him and concluded that he had some type of virulent disease. He woke up around noon, seemingly returning to normal. Around 1500 he suddenly got up from bed and climbed up on top of a bunk and proceeded to jump out the window. His brother Julio saw him and ran quickly to assist him, but to his surprised he could not find Lucio anywhere, not a trace of him. The police were called and they searched for him throughout the afternoon.
Around 9:00 pm a scream was heard: “He is here!” Everyone ran to the location and found student Donato Perez on the ground with Lucio lying directly on top of him. Donato explained that he saw Lucio being accompanied by two men that upon seeing him dropped him to floor and vanished. Lucio’s clothing was dirty, and his shoes stained with grayish volcanic sand. During a medical examination it was discovered that his fingertips had triangular shaped scars on them. A couple of days later he was able to recall what happened and remembered that as he fell out of the window two short humanoids grabbed him and took him flying to the nearby Taapaca Volcano. There they entered a landed object and inside he saw additional humanoids (not described). Later the same 2 short humanoids took him back and that’s when Donato saw him arriving. In the area around the Volcano investigators found several ground traces.
Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan – 1972 – 10:50 pm
The witness was driving out of the parking lot of his foundry job when he noticed an object flying about 100 ft in the air above a junkyard. He noticed 4 lights, 2 red and 2 green. Suddenly it shot a bright beam down onto several of the wrecked cars in the junkyard, shut it off, and proceeded east repeating the same thing. The object then stops to hover above some trees and bushes. The witness drove closer to the object and realized it was a giant round disc shaped craft. There was a dome-like structure on the top with a giant pane of glass with 2 creatures standing. One pointed towards the witness car, turned to the other and immediately the glass was covered by some kind of barrier so it simply looked like a disc with a dome. The witness then stood directly under the object where he saw a mesmerizing red light that had an extremely tranquilizing effect on the witness. The underside of the object had a slight lip around the edge. Crisscrossing the belly were what appeared to be some kind of tubes or I-beams, which passed through to each of the lights resembling a “cross” or plus sign. Eventually, the witness heard a whine like an electric motor starting, and then silence set in. The lights then became more intense, while four globes beneath the object began to send off what looked like bolts of lightning. Out of nowhere and completely encircling the disc, came a coil, which looked like it was made up of overlapping scales, like fish scales, roughly spherical in shape and about 12 inches at the widest. The disc then rose cleared the top of the foundry roof and preceded slightly northeast, it momentarily turned its lights off as it glided across a street. The craft then stopped and disappeared. The witness then suddenly found himself back home.
Years later the witness remembered being lifted up on a beam of light and being inside of the disc. There he met the same two beings he had seen previously. One of the humanoids was about 4-½ ft tall, the other 4 ft. Their skin was kind of iridescent gray and they had large eyes, no ears, or mouth. They had 4 fingers on each hand with a tiny suction cup-like on each finger. Inside the object everything was metallic with sky-blue seat cushions. The humanoids seemed to lack what we would call substance, rather like a holographic image of one kind or another. He was told telepathically that they had needed electrons from the iron in the junked cars, which they needed as fuel. The witness could not remember how he left the object.
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio – October 2, 1966 – 8:20 pm
Mrs. Everett Steward was talking on the telephone when she smelled a foul odor in the room. She went to her bedroom, where she had a feeling of being watched. Looking out the window, she saw an oval shaped object with portholes & red, green, & white lights revolving around it. It was 75 ft in diameter & 100 ft up. She woke her husband, who also saw it, and called her married daughter, Mrs Janet Emery, a mile away; the Emerys also saw it, and a neighbor with binoculars could see that it had square windows glowing yellow. Janet went outdoors & saw the UFO eject a red ball, which maneuvered while the first UFO took off southward. The red ball flew 75-100 ft over Jane’s head; it was oval, and its underside was shiny like aluminum foil; it was “bigger than my cottage and yard combined.” She also smelled the garbage like odor.
Mrs. Steward went to bed, the odor still in the house. After some time, the room was filled for an instant with brilliant white light; then this vanished, and a globe of light about 21″ in diameter appeared at the foot of her bed. Inside this globe were 5 “non-human, hairless heads” with oval, sunken eyes. “Instead of noses, there were slits, and they had no mouths.” Telepathically, they repeated several times “We have made contact.” Mrs Steward screamed, and the globe disappeared. She was so disquieted by the experience that she was under psychiatric care for the next 2 years.
Location: South Dakota (no specific location) – November 30, 1994 – late night
The witness was returning home from her sister’s funeral and was very exhausted. She began to see shadows and movement on the road ahead and stopped at a rest area. She turned off the engine and layback to sleep. Her next memory was of looking down at herself in the car, her head was back, eyes shut and mouth wide open. She could see some type of craft next to the car and some beings were holding something that directed a beam of white light into her mouth. The beings spoke among themselves, saying, “That she had many lessons to learn.” The beings said that she had to get cancer, and kept repeating the phrases about “so many lessons to learn.” She found herself talking to a being that had soft tanned skin. The beings were humanoid with large eyes, but no hair. Next she found herself in the car and drove home arriving at 3:00 am. The witness did indeed develop breast cancer and was operated. She apparently recovered.
I was on my way home from work driving down a country road with a gravel pit on one side, and forest on the other. In my headlights, I saw something in the clearing between the forest and the road. At first I thought it was a deer, I slowed down in case it started to run into the road. As I got closer, I noticed it was walking on two legs. My first thought at this point was that there was a car accident from up ahead, and this person was looking for help.
At first I was confused, an animal or person. As I approached and lowered my window, I realized that it was not a person or animal I got goosebumps which lasted for about 30 seconds. It stood as high as may car, it had a very thin body, covered in a white or semi-transparent material. The legs and arms were very thin and long. The head was slightly larger than a human, with black eyes, no nose, and a slit where the mouth would be. It moved in an erratic manner as it entered the road, then it turned, saw me and began walking toward my car with an almost spider-like walk.
When it got to within 5-7 feet on the driver’s side, I got really spooked, and drove away. As I drove away, I kept thinking that there was a car accident ahead. There was nothing, and that is the time I realized that something really weird was happening. For the next week I had a hard time making a logical decision as to what I had seen. I told my wife several days later, and she said that I had been acting different.
Location: San Antonio, Texas – 4/19/2009 – evening
I was talking on my cell at the end of my sidewalk by the street when I turned around facing my house and saw this huge black human-like bird thing gliding without a noise coming from the east maybe the distance would be like three streets over but about maybe five blocks down.
When I saw this I was stunned and stared at it trying to figure out what it was and then I realized it wasn’t anything I’ve ever seen. I ran into the house and yelled at my husband and my grown son to get out here quick. They came but seemed like forever and they looked and saw it too. When they saw it the thing was like the a few streets over and then disappeared behind the big trees. When we saw it we all said that no one would believe us; but I have recently been talking about it because it has bothered me so much.
I’ve lived in this neighborhood all my life and I can remember three UFO sightings since I was five and all the sightings were in this neighborhood or around Stinson Field airport. I never came forward about them because people think you’ve lost your ever loving mind until recently when others I’ve spoke with shared their experiences. I have other stories but this one is the most recent and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this thing. It is silent like it was a glider but I could see the body was exactly like a man a very large man.
My wife and I own about fifty acres of land along a creek. Most of it is wooded. About a quarter of a mile back from my house up by the road. We have a pig pen with three small pigs. My wife decided to put a game camera up to watch the pigs. There is a roadway we put in that takes you to the pig pen and a lot further back. One day she checked the camera chip and found strange lights beaming down or up – question. I put the picture on my lap top. I can pick out seven to eight lights on a angle from the north. Only one picture was snapped of big and small lights around the pigs house. I have no clue of what made these lights. The picture was taken on 04/15/2014 at 10:55 pm. the night of the blood moon. The moon as far as I know was not north west of camera I did some research and came up with nothing to help me find the source. We will keep camera set up and maybe put more up. We have a cabin and house trailer Further back to the west. we spend a great deal of time out there night and day. I want to stay out there at night but the picture has me abet rattled. And if I do I will be somewhat on edge. But I will be armed with light, camera and protection. If you can shed some light on this or need more info please let me know. – MUFON CMS
Teenagers in China have taken to walking cabbages as a way to get over depression and loneliness.
The youngsters are able to meet other people who also walk the green foods.
Chinese psychiatrist Wen Chao said: ‘The idea is simple – you feel as lonely and as simple as a cabbage, so you begin to act like one and befriend one.
‘And in that acceptance comes change.’
The sight of people pulling cabbages down the street has surprised many, but Lui Ja Chen, 17, defended the pastime and said it had helped him.
‘I feel I can transfer my negative thoughts about myself to the cabbage, go for a walk with it and come home feeling better about myself.
‘If I see someone else its easy to start up a conversation with them about their cabbage, and they are better than dogs as they don’t bark, or start fights with other cabbages, it doesn’t even need feeding, or leave a mess on the pavement.
‘In fact afterwards, I can throw the cabbage away and feel that I have tossed my feelings out with it.’ – Newsbite
Five members of the same family were struck by a bolt from the blue while out in their garden.
They say lightning never strikes twice, yet in the case of one family living in the German city of Chemnitz, it didn’t need to. A freak lightning strike in the otherwise safe haven of their back yard sent a nine-year-old boy, his grandmother, his aunt, his mother and his two siblings to hospital.
One of the family, Ricarda, had been chopping wood when the incident happened. As it started to rain she got up to take in the garden furniture when she felt what she described as “a tingling sensation from head to toe.” As she came to her senses she realized that she must have been struck by a bolt of lightning and that she had not been the only one affected.
“There was chaos,” she said. “Everybody was just acting on autopilot. A few minutes later the ambulance arrived.” Her nine-year-old nephew stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated before being rushed to intensive care. The others were taken to hospital as well to be treated but only suffered comparatively minor injuries.
More than 24,000 people are killed and a further 240,000 injured every year by lightning strikes.
Pregnant woman in Sudan sentenced to death for being a Christian
On Thursday a Sudan court sentenced an eight-months pregnant woman to death by hanging because she practices Christianity. Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, has refused to recant her faith despite given the opportunity to in order to save her life.
“I am a Christian,” she defiantly told the Khartoum court. “And I will remain a Christian.”
Sharia law finds pregnant woman guilty
However, Sharia law, the predominant law in the country, says she is Muslim because her father was Muslim. But he left when Ibrahim was six and her mother raised her a Christian. Sharia law does not recognize that and the court ruled that because Ibrahim practices the Christian faith she is guilty of being an apostate, one who has renounced her faith.
To make this case all the more astonishing she has also been found guilty of adultery. This is because her husband, Daniel Wani, is Christian also. Here Sharia law says that being a Muslim (which of course she does not consider herself to be) she cannot marry anyone but another Muslim, and therefore her marriage is void. As a result, she’s been sentenced to 100 lashes for the crime of adultery.
Her lawyer, Mohamed Jar Elnabi, says she is having a difficult pregnancy but officials won’t let her move to a hospital. Her 20-month-old son is with her in prison and, her lawyer said, is not handling the situation well.
Further, Ibrahim’s husband, Wani, is in a wheelchair and having difficulty without his wife. He says he is praying for her and he can do little else, he was not acknowledged by the court and was forbidden to attend court proceedings. “I’m so frustrated. I don’t know what to do,” Wani told CNN. “I’m just praying.”
Lawyer to appeal Sharia law verdict
Elnabi will appeal but did not say on what grounds. Human rights groups have decried the ruling and, along with the Sudanese embassies of many countries, including the U.S. and Canada, are appealing to the government to respect religious freedom. And some 50 protesters bravely attended outside the sentencing, carrying placards, some of which noted that the constitution allows people to practice religions other than Muslim.
Finally, Elnabi has received a death threat by telephone, telling him to abandon the case or he will be killed. He told media he is scared but that it is a case of principles and he would never quit defending his client.
“I must help someone who is in need,” he said. “Even if it will cost me my life.” – Digital Journal

Australian Museum opens archives to show off weird and wonderful
Staff at the Australian Museum have thrown open the vaults, trawling through an 18-million-strong collection of exhibits for new displays.
Just weeks into the job and the museum’s new director, Kim McKay, is overhauling the long gallery at the heart of the centre, taking it back to its roots.
“We’re seeing this trend all over the world to start to style the museum as it probably was originally, bring out these collections, place them with other objects which are quite contrary to them, and so that you can have your own modern interpretation,” she said.
The search is on to find the must-see pieces tucked away in the museum’s expansive archives.
Rather than have them filtered off into designated displays, they will be thrown in together as a collection of curiosities.
For Mrs McKay, finding the treasures has been half the fun.
“I’m like the proverbial kid in the candy store here. We’ve got amazing creatures everything from tape worms to scorpions and extraordinary spiders.”
Fish research dries up
Some of the most bizarre creatures have been found in the museum’s fish archives.
Mark McGrouther manages the collection of 1.8 million fish, including everything from the deep sea blobfish, made famous in the movie Men in Black 3, and the severed head of a rare goblin shark.
“Having collections of all sorts of animal groups is really, really important,” he said.
“We have not only a baseline now, but we have records that go back over 100 years. We can look at distribution and distributional changes.”
The division functions like a library, loaning fish to researchers around the world, but its own research has dried up.
Mr McGrouther says it is concerning that 15 years ago there were three fish researchers at the Australian Museum but now there are none.
“With climate change we’re seeing now all kinds of different distributional changes, range extensions, fishes coming further down the east Australian coast,” he said.
“A good example is the NSW fish emblem, the blue groper. The blue groper is now found in Tasmania, previously unrecorded in Tasmania. That just reflects those warming currents that are coming down.”
He says turning these problems around will take money.
Pop-up museums may help to generate revenue
It is a tough ask in tight fiscal times but Mrs McKay says reinvigorating the museum will drive up public interest and revenue.
“The Australian Museum Research Institute does have a staff of around 80 to 90 researchers and scientists working, so it’s a significant institute and we’ve got to look at where we put our emphasis in the future to meet the demands of research,” she said.
In round table meetings all staff are getting involved, putting forward ideas for research, display and community outreach priorities.
Dion Peita from the museum’s Pacific collections says it is an opportunity for innovation.
“I want to see greater diversity in our program delivery that’s both onsite as well as offsite, so having a new director, having new ideas, being bold and stepping forward I think will only benefit the entire institution,” he said.
Mr Peita is pushing for more pop-up museums, taking sample displays to western Sydney and beyond.
He says it will also help bridge the cultural gap experienced by young Pacific Islanders.
“They’re disconnected from culture. They may not have the identity that they once had or their parents have so it was about establishing a way in which culture could be a platform to strengthen their self-esteem,” he said. –Yahoo

UFO enthusiasts have spotted a “cigar-shaped” UFO orbiting the planet Mars, while looking through photographs taken by Nasa's Curiosity Rover earlier this month.
Curiosity has been exploring the Gale Crater on Mars since 2012, tasked with the mission of investigating the Martian climate and geology to assess whether a selected field site inside Gale Crater can offer environmental conditions suitable for microbial life.
Raw images are taken by the Mars Rover during its explorations based on commands issued by the mission team. There are a total of 147,901 images uploaded onto Nasa's Mars Science Laboratory website, and these images can only be relayed back to Earth when orbiters pass over the Rover.
On 4 May, the Rover's right-hand side navigation camera picked up a long, thin white object hovering in the air for about 16 minutes.
According to UFO Sightings Daily blogger Scott Waring, a teacher living in Taiwan who has authored a few books on UFOs, time-travel and young adult fantasy fiction, the UFO is the same one that was captured on camera by Curiosity on 28 April.
"NASA photos used to have high detailed descriptions, but not these rover photos. NASA tries not to give a lot of details in case a photo surfaces with something they cannot and will not explain, like these six images, five having a UFO in them," he writes in a blog post.
"I took the photos and enlarged them from 3kb size to 19kb size in order to show the true detail of the photo. I am not a NASA scientist and should not have to do this.
"They get photos from the rover that are always 1MB at the smallest and upwards of 600MB in size in HD detail, so why does NASA put up these tiny images for the public to view, when they have such massive sized originals? It shows NASA's obliviousness to the needs of the people."
User UFOvni2012 on YouTube has also spotted the UFO captured by Mars, and created a video putting Nasa's images together, that shows the unidentified object landing in the Gale Crater and flying through the air.
The video also points out UFOs behind the cigar-shaped object moving through the atmosphere as well.
Could the objects in the Nasa photos be the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter satellite that orbits Mars to pick up data from the Curiosity Rover, or a UFO?

UFO Confrontation over Mansfield, OH
October 18, 1973 US Army Captain Lawrence Coyne and his helicopter crew and over Mansfield, Ohio at about 10:30 pm when the 4 man crew encounter a startling spectacle! Sgt. Healey spots a red aerial light to the west of their position as the Army Reserve unit conducts routine maneuvers. A few moments later the red light is observed again on the horizon and begins to move toward the UH-1H hovering at 2,500 ft. and travelling at 90 knots. Within minutes the steady approach of the strange light seems on a collision course with the stunned crew. Captain Coyne takes control of the helicopter and forces his craft into a powered dive leveling off at 600 ft. yet the mysterious airborne light continues to converge.
Amazingly, the unknown aerial object comes to a halt very close to the helicopter filling the windscreen with its presence. A green piercing light splashes the UH-1H copter and its crew and is even observed from the ground by witnesses. Now even under the Captain’s control his UH-1H begins climbing in altitude while the Captain maintains a downward thrust, but to no avail. The strange red light connected to a large structure that also had a white light on its other end seemed to be in a tug of war with the copter crew. Captain Coyne noted that with his collective in the downward position his UH-1H was now at 3,000 ft. and climbing at a rate of 1000 feet per minute.
Finally the unknown aerial intruder broke off its encounter with the Helicopter crew and flew off in the direction of Lake Erie leaving a dazed Army crew behind. Why did this UFO come out of nowhere and begin trying to force the UH-1H into a contest of wills where it seemed that the ultimate intention was to pull the Army helicopter in tow to a higher altitude? Would they have been abducted? It seems likely had the quick thinking Captain Coyne not forced his helicopter into a steep descent. For years Captain Lawrence Coyne continued to share his story with audiences across the US. HE and his crew were fortunate to have survived such an encounter and live to tell about it.
The Frederick Valentich Disappearance
October 21, 1978 yet another bizarre air to air encounter with the unknown emerges. Frederick Valentich departs over Bass Strait on a 125 mile training mission. The 20 year old pilot flying in his Cessna 182L is a member of the Air Training Corps and is looking forward to an aviation career in the Royal Australian Air Force, but on this night he will never be seen again. Trouble begins early in the flight as at 7:06 Frederick contacted Melbourne Flight Service and advised an air traffic controller that he had observed an unidentified craft flying circles around his Cessna at high speed and that his engine was rough idling. Anxiety was noted by the radar technician in the voice of the pilot. Whatever he was seeing was definitely unnerving the young Valentich.
Frederick Valentich continues his conversation with the air traffic controller describing the unknown airborne object as being dark in color and elliptical in shape. Just moments before his last transmission a strange metallic sound is heard over the radio originating from the Cessna !82L before all contact is lost. The young aspiring pilot never makes it to his destination Otway Island, and 12 day search and rescue operation is conducted before it is pronounced that in all likelihood, Frederick Valentich is dead.
One couple who was camping in the proposed area of Valentich’s flight plan reported that they observed light plane diving toward the water with a lighted object aerial object flying behind it. The incident was greeted with some skepticism as young Frederick was seen as a UFO enthusiast, but after this strange night neither he nor his Cessna 182L were ever seen again. His father even admitted publicly that he hoped that his son had been abducted by the UFO rather than having died in a crash. The photo image of a fast moving unidentified airborne object was also taken in the proposed area of young Valentich’s flight path. To this day no answers have been found.
JAL flight 1628
November of 1986 a giant UFO off the coast of Alaska stuns the aircrew of JAL Flight 1628 from Japan. The cargo delivery of French wine destined for Iceland was paced by a huge unidentified flying object over Alaska for 31 minutes until the aircraft landed. This incident was confirmed as the UFO was tracked by ground and air based radar. Seasoned veteran Captain, Kenju Terauchi, described his experience as unbelievable as his 747 cargo jet was followed for 400 miles to its destination in Anchorage over the Artic by 3 UFO’s. According to Captain Terauchi, 2 small lighted objects along with a gigantic UFO that he estimated to be twice the size of an aircraft carrier followed his aircraft all the way to his landing approach.
Why many pilots refuse to report
Although Captain Terauchi was presumably grounded by his employer for making such an indiscreet report public. Former FAA Division Chief, John Callahan revealed extensive testimony over the incident and how several intelligence personnel met with him and other airport officials warning them not to make any public statements or to talk about the incident after the initial sighting occurred. It seems that a joint effort at suppressing news of the incident was being made by FAA and military officials within a short time of the first report. Captain Terauchi would not be reinstated to his original position for years to come in the aftermath of this aviation mystery.
Conclusion?
Let us take into consideration how these above mentioned events shrouded in mystery could possibly illustrate just how easily Malaysian Flight 370 could have succumbed to the unknown aerial technology of another civilization operation stealthily in our upper atmosphere leaving no trace of the aircraft or its crew. Let us simply speculate for a moment that such a possibility might indeed be plausible when one reviews the historic record of these perplexing aerial encounters that boggle the mind and leave many of the witnesses directly involved gone forever off the face of the earth or bewildered by what they just saw and lived to tell about. Will MHS 370 ever emerge from oblivion to tell us its story? Will it take decades to discover in the remote vastness of the deep ocean, or will the Boeing 777 simply remain cloaked in the fog of uncertainty never to be found again? Only time will tell.

Kama Simonds, a spokeswoman for the Port of Portland, said the port was working on emergency preparedness drills Thursday, but there was nothing happening at the Port at the time Hicks said the incident happened.
It had nothing to do with the drill, Simonds said.
I can’t tell you how many similar reports I’ve had of aircraft chasing anomalous objects, he said.

Er wordt verondersteld dat dit Amerikaanse Stonehenge rond 2000 voor Christus is gebouwd door Europeanen, duizenden jaren voordat de Vikingen Noord-Amerika bereikten. Er zijn steeds meer kritische geluiden te horen nu het verdwenen vliegtuig na meer dan 70 dagen nog steeds niet is gevonden. Familieleden van passagiers en wetenschappers willen duidelijkheid over de satellietgegevens. Het zoekgebied in de Indische Oceaan werd afgebakend op basis van gegevens waaruit is opgemaakt dat het toestel nog ongeveer vijf uur heeft gevlogen nadat het van de radar verdween. Er is echter nog geen tastbaar bewijs geweest voor de satellietgegevens.
De Maleisische overheid maakte bekend de data niet te hebben. Het ministerie van Verkeer verwees naar het satellietbedrijf Inmarsat. De Australische overheid vertelde aan CNN niet in het bezit te zijn van de gegevens. Inmarsat stelde dat de data eerder al zijn overgedragen aan de onderzoekers. Luchtvaartexpert Miles O’Brien zei: “Ik weet niet wie ik moet geloven. Je zou bijna denken dat er iets in de gegevens staat dat de wereld niet mag zien.” Volgens O’Brien is het vrij duidelijk dat iemand aan het liegen is.
Hoewel de Maleisische overheid naar eigen zeggen niets te verbergen heeft, werden al geregeld vragen gesteld bij de gebrekkige communicatie van het land. Nadat de Boeing 777 op 8 maart van de radar verdween duurde het 17 minuten voordat de autoriteiten dat opmerkten.
Daarna duurde het nog eens vier uur voordat een officiële zoekactie werd opgezet, zo bleek uit een voorlopig rapport dat het Maleisische ministerie van Verkeer indiende bij de VN. In het rapport wordt met geen woord gerept over wat er tijdens die vier uur al dan niet is gebeurd. Waarom werd pas vier uur later gezocht naar de Boeing?
Eerder deze maand werden ook al vraagtekens gezet bij de inhoud van de lading aan boord van vlucht MH370. Het vliegtuig van Malaysia Airlines was deels gevuld met goederen die niet op het manifest stonden.
Het is bekend dat de laadruimte van het toestel 4,566 ton mangistans bevatte, een exotische bes. Daarnaast vervoerde de Boeing 200 kilo licht ontvlambare lithiumbatterijen. De batterijen maakten deel uit van een zending van 2,453 ton. Het is onbekend waar de rest van deze levering uit bestond.

Chinese scientists are more open to the idea that extraterrestrials may be involved in incidents than their Western counterparts would ever be.
Yang Ji, a research fellow at Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences said when investigating a cave filled with odd metal objects that he would investigate the idea they came from beyond Earth.
"Scientific means must be employed to prove whether the ET hypothesis is true," he said.
Watson says that UFO sightings in China involved craft similar to those seen in the West - a fact probably pleasing to UFOlogists.
“UFO sightings in China are very similar to those in the rest of the World. There are sightings of ‘flying boats’ recorded in ancient documents and there have been several waves of sightings in recent years and they have all types of close encounters from lights in the sky to alien abductions,” he says.
China’s enthusiasm for the subject is unlikely to diminish - the People’s Republic aims to put a man on the moon within a decade, according to a report this year in the official People’s Republic newspaper, whiich also said, “Chinese aerospace researchers are working on setting up a lunar base.”
Watson says, “I think UFO enthusiasts are more likely to welcome future Chinese missions, to see if they capture any images of UFOs or encounter any alien artefacts. Certainly interest in UFOs continues to flourish in China and it is exciting to know if they come up with any new evidence or proof of alien spacecraft or other exotic phenomena playing in our skies.”

Ex-Air Force Law Enforcement Agent Says He Hoaxed Major UFO Mythologies
I have been researching UFOs for many years, delving deep into the underbelly of UFO lore, and one name seems to frequently pop up. His name is Richard Doty, and in the 1980s he was a special agent for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He claims that while he was there he was tasked with hoaxing documents and feeding false information to UFO researchers. The Air Force refuses to comment on whether they knew of his activities and whether his claims of partaking in this activity at the behest of his superiors is accurate.
It wouldn't be so bad if his stories of UFO crashes and secret UFO management groups, such as the fabled MJ-12, were not the subject of a large amount of books, movies, video games, television shows, and who knows what else. He says he even acted as a consultant for The X-Files, which is one of the very few tall tales of his that might actually be true.
Doty's story has changed over the years, and some of the details of the stories are conflicting. In frustration with this whole situation, I decided to send the Air Force Freedom of information Act (FOIA) requests to find out more. I also wanted an official response regarding whether he was ordered to create these hoaxed documents.
At first the AFOSI Public Affairs Chief was very helpful. She expedited my request, and I received some very interesting documents. I was told that when my FOIA request was fulfilled, she would help me find someone I could talk to for an official statement. However, once I got the documents, she would no longer talk to me.
What was in the documents was very interesting and corroborated some of the legend around the Doty affair. The story begins with a man named Paul Bennewitz, who owned a humidity equipment company with contracts with Kirtland AFB. His house and office were near Kirtland, and he believed he was seeing UFOs over a part of the base that housed nuclear weapons. He also believed he was receiving transmissions from the aliens that flew those UFOs. Surprisingly, the Air Force humored him. They sent out Doty and an officer to investigate, but AFOSI decided that further investigation was unwarranted.
A few days later, Bennewitz was allowed to present his evidence to some of the officers and scientists at the base. He wanted a grant to conduct more research, and one of the scientists said he would help Bennewitz fill out the paperwork for the grant.
The documents also state that two U.S. senators from New Mexico had called or shown up at Kirtland to check on AFOSI's investigation of Bennewitz and his E.T. contacts. Apparently, Bennewitz had sought their help. Both times the senators were told there was no investigation.
Doty claims what the senators were told was not true. Doty says he was told to make Bennewitz believe there was an impending alien invasion because Bennewitz was actually observing secret Air Force projects. According to Doty,the Air Force wanted to discredit Bennewitz so no one would figure that out. However, Doty claims that in doing so, he created hoaxed documents that were given to Bennewitz and other UFO researchers, and that he broke into Bennewitz's house and office, some if not all of which is illegal.
I have been able to confirm that Doty did give Bennewitz documents that would make him believe he was under investigation, even though Doty told both senators that this was not the case. Bennewitz eventually checked into a mental health facility due to paranoia. Doty was successful, and Bennewtiz was convinced of the immanent alien invasion. This entire affair is incredibly unscrupulous, and Doty claims he did it all under orders. Doty is now a sergeant with the New Mexico State Police in Grants.
I think the Air Force needs to respond to Doty's claims. I have drafted a letter that I sent to the Air Force asking for a response. I have yet to receive one. I have posted this letter online along with extensive references to my sources and the FOIA documents I received. Volgens Nigel Watson, auteur van ‘The Haynes UFO Investigations Manual’ geloven duizenden Chinezen namelijk dat de maanrover werd uitgeschakeld door buitenaardsen of de Verenigde Staten. Zodoende zou de robot geen bases of geheime technologie kunnen ontdekken op het maanoppervlak, aldus de schrijver.

De Chinese overheid legaliseerde discussies over buitenaards leven in 1979. In China wordt anders met het onderwerp omgesprongen dan in het Westen. Staatsmedia berichten er regelmatig over UFO-waarnemingen en nemen het onderwerp zeer serieus. De radiozender Shandong Qilu berichtte onlangs over een lichtbol die een huis was binnengevlogen in het district Qihe in de provincie Shandong.
Sommige Chinese UFO-onderzoeksgroepen laten alleen hoogopgeleide mensen toe die op zijn minst enkele wetenschappelijke publicaties op hun naam hebben staan. In het land werd het Journal of UFO Research opgericht met de hulp van wetenschappers. Op den duur had het tijdschrift een oplage van 40.000 stuks.
Na de mysterieuze ‘dood’ van Yutu werd op populaire Chinese UFO-sites gesproken over een ‘enorm object’ bij de maan voordat het wagentje vleugellam raakte. Watson zei dat China op dit moment 60 onderzoekers telt die zich bezighouden met buitenaards contact. The New York Times meldde dat de Chinese luchtmacht belangrijke UFO-bijeenkomsten bijwoont.
In China geniet het onderwerp sinds de jaren tachtig buitengewoon veel populariteit. Sinds robotjeep Yutu op de maan is geland, is er een hernieuwde belangstelling voor alles wat met ruimte te maken heeft. “Als onze voorwaarden voor lidmaatschap niet zo streng waren, zouden we nu miljoenen leden hebben,” zei Sun Shili, een oud-medewerker van het Chinese ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken die voorzitter is van de UFO-gemeenschap van Peking. Shili zegt dat buitenaardsen onder ons op aarde leven.
“In de westerse wereld werd Project Bluebook in het leven geroepen door de Amerikaanse luchtmacht om UFO-waarnemingen onterecht te linken aan sterren, meteoren en vliegtuigen,” zei Watson. “In China werd alle informatie over UFO’s achtergehouden. Toen Chinezen eenmaal de kans kregen wilden ze er zoveel mogelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar doen.”
Chinese wetenschappers staan in tegenstelling tot de meeste van hun westerse collega’s open voor de buitenaardse hypothese. AFRICA VS CHINA
We know that 100,000 years or so ago, homo sapiens (who shared the same Mitochondrial Eve – in other words, our ancestors) departed from Africa and spread throughout the world over the past 100,000 years.
What we don't know is who emerged from the proto-humans found in China and places like the island of Java in Indonesia; the Java Man and Peking Man of Homo erectus origins.
Archaeologists, viewing the out-of-place “otamid” type skulls found in America from ancient times, have collectively repeated, they were not of Mongoloid origins (Florida bog, Texas Coast, Nevada Great Basin) as Amerind people of America, but appear to be of SE China region and an “earlier migration” (see all my giants posts on the right hand side of the blog in the “popular” column).
This also jives with the fact that ancient giants appear to have spread through Europe, but also made a stronger more concerted effort to take to the waterways of the South Pacific, entering Peru and heading up to North America to truly leave their traces everywhere as a culture of humans who had a huge jump on homo sapiens coming out of Africa, both in settling the earth and building technology and spirituality.
In fact, Peking Man remains that were found were about 500,000 years old. Java Man found on the island of Java, was believed to have arrived there 1.8 million years ago when there was still a land bridge with Asia.
What we have is a branch of the human experience evolving outside of Africa and considerably ahead of those of us homo sapiens of Mitrochondrial Eve plunging from the continent of Africa into the big bad world around 100,000 years ago.
Skulls found in America at moundbuilder sites and the Western US are described similarly to have a prominent brow ridge, sloping forehead, and interparietal bones – these are all attributes easily derived from this Homo Erectus lineage. As well, with pockets of them evolving in isolated regions of the South Pacific, likely many closely related groups with different evolutionary features came together to prove the hybridization features of six toes and fingers and double rows of teeth (see my post on the right hand side about six toes and double rows of teeth to learn more about hybridization in closely related genus of man).
Mungo Man of 45,000 to 60,000 years ago in Australia was found to not be related to aborigines, but he almost surely was one of these people.
Let's talk about some of the features reported about ancient giants; red hair, blond hair, tall, robust carnivore jaws, interparietal bones that make the back of the head pointed, strong brow ridge, sloping forehead, long limbs.
Interparietal bone aka “Os Inca.”This separate bone is particularly referred as Inca bone. Inca bones in humans were first found in the skulls of contemporary indigenous peoples of the southern Andes as well as in those of mummies of the Inca civilization.
Source: The Inca bone was characteristically a primitive feature found both inChinese Homo erectus and early Homo sapiens. Inca bone is inherited as a dominant trait, with approximately 50% penetrance. Also Deol & Truslove (1957) suggested the strong genetic control regarding inheritance of Inca bone, based on their experimental studies on mice. (In other words, Homo erectus could have carried that down through his lineage as a dominant trait of his descendents).
In September 1941, Hu Chengzhi placed several skulls into two wooden crates. Around him, China was at war with Japan, so he was sending the skulls to the US for safekeeping. They never arrived. Hu was among the last people to see one of the most important palaeontological finds in history.
These lost skulls belonged to Homo erectus pekinensis, known as Peking Man. More than half a century later, evolutionary biologists would still love to get their hands on these fossils: not only would they help answer questions about early cannibalism among our ancestors, they could even shed light on the origins of spoken language.
The owners of the skulls died at least half a million years ago, and their remains were preserved in Zhoukoudian cave near Beijing, before being unearthed in the 1920s. At the time, they were the oldest hominid fossils ever found, and silenced skeptics who claimed that other similar Javanese fossils belonged to deformed apes. These bones clearly represented an early stage of human evolution. Their owners used tools, and were the earliest known wielders of fire.
A few years into the war in 1941, the keepers of the skulls decided to ship them abroad to avoid theft. The crates left Peking, but never made it to the port.
Java Man:Java Man (Homo erectus erectus) is the name given to fossils discovered in 1891 at Trinil – Ngawi Regency on the banks of the Solo River in East Java, Indonesia, one of the first known specimens of Homo erectus. Its discoverer, Eugène Dubois, gave it the scientific name Pithecanthropus erectus, a name derived from Greek and Latin roots meaning upright ape-man.The current consensus of anthropologists is that the direct ancestors of modern humans were African populations of Homo erectus (possibly Homo ergaster), rather than the Asian populations exemplified by Java Man and Peking Man.
Source: The island of Java, Indonesia, has produced a remarkable number of fossil hominid remains. One of the earliest specimens was found in Perning and consists of an almost complete calvaria belonging to a juvenile individual, known as the Mojokerto child – these people having come to Java 1.8 million years ago when there was a land bridge with Asia. (Perning I). Using computed tomography, this study details its endocranial features. The specimen is still filled with sediment, but its inner surface is well preserved, and we were able to reconstruct its endocranial features electronically. The Mojokerto endocast is the only cerebral evidence available for such a young Homo erectus individual. We provide an analytical description, make comparisons with endocasts of other fossil hominids and modern humans, and discuss its individual age and taxonomic affinities. The ontogenetic pattern indicated by the Mojokerto child suggests that the growth and development of the Homo erectus brain was different from that of modern humans. The earliest stages of development, as characterized by this individual, correspond to important supero-inferior expansion, and relative rounding of the cerebrum. The following stages differ from that of modern humans by marked antero-posterior flattening of the brain and particularly antero-posterior development of the frontal lobes, resulting in the adult H. erectus morphology.
What we end up with is a man from Southeast China reported by archaeologists as the potential source of the “first” migration to the Americas and the Mongolian ones heading across the Behring Strait much much later to enter the Americas and begin the Amerind – future Native American population.
This first migration would have included seafaring capabilities, advanced knowledge (much bigger jump on evolution and expansion), having established civilizations with ancient stone structures, mining, wells, pottery, written hieroglyphics, spirituality and more; all around the world, given the basis for homo sapiens “leap” in knowledge. In fact, from their seafaring settling in the South Pacific and potential erection of huge stone sculptures on the islands, they eventually at the end of their phase here on earth (to our knowledge they ceased to be), settled into moundbuilding communities with mining and much more advanced techniques by the time they reached North America. This has helped to explain wide jumps in knowledge by the future “Natives” who would enter the Americas and spread out to South America. They were in contact with civilizations they had not seen before, learned many techniques and had that odd “clovus” leap in knowledge that was unexplainable before, but some archaeologists hint at a prior culture activating.
The elongated skull people with red hair in Peru and the otamid skull types of Yaghan and Nevada and Moundbuilders are all evidence of this homo erectus descendent from Asia. Likely, isolated in their evolutionary process on islands in the South Pacific, these people had some variations, but were still able to mate between themselves to produce those hybridization features I spoke of in the post on six-toed giants with double rows of teeth; an occurrence between closely related genus.
This is not an extraordinary claim, such as ancient aliens. It also does not credit homo sapiens with the basic knowledge of humans. But, it does show that with a bit of early influence as we left Africa and spread out, we learned technology, language, spirituality and more from these giant, robust, earlier people and took that knowledge and ran. It would also be apparent that we have made incredible gains in those 100,000 years out of Africa and are the last men standing.
