Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

… The witness was standing near a local rural church when he saw a short humanoid figure about 1.20 meters in height wearing a tight-fitting green colored coverall, it had its arms and legs in a rigid position and approached to within 2 meters of the witness. The humanoid seemed to have both feet together and resting on some type of circular platform that apparently propelled him above the ground. On his hands he carried an object or control panel that seemed to operate the floating platform. The humanoid, which had human features, disappeared silently into some distance fields.

We travelled from Paracas to the see the famous Nazca lines. These enigmatic lines are set in some of the most inhospitable and stark terrain I have ever seen. The folks on the tour went up in small 6 seater, Cesena’s and saw the lines from the air. There are glyphs of a hummingbird, a whale, spider and other figures which are drawn on the ground and only seen from the air. There are also straight lines that travel for miles on the floor of this vast plateau.
However, I want to focus on another subject and that is the picture here. It is the remains of a mummy that was displayed in a small, private museum very close to the airport in Nazca. Sr. Felix, who is a Shaman, is the curator of the museum. He met us in full Inca garb and gave us a tour of his museum.

What fascinated me and drew my attention was the color of the hair of this small child, it was strawberry-blond.
I had a chance to ask Sr Felix a series of questions. This is important to my research as talking to the local people one often hears the oral tradition, stories which have been handed down through the centuries from father to son, from grandfather to grandson, and such was the case here. These stories can give us clues and I always listen intently and with great interest when these stories are presented.
Sr. Felix told us that the Paracas people sailed from the Middle East! He also told us of a story told to him by an old man of a baby born with an elongated skull. While this is not “scientific” evidence, as only the DNA testing will establish where these people were from, it does lend credence to my hypotheses that the Paracas-elongated-skull-people may have been part of a Nephilim tribe.

It’s one thing to read about these sites, it’s another to actually go and see for one’s self what the artifacts look like.
Why would Sr, Felix tell us the Paracas people came from the Middle East? He has no dog in the hunt in regard to my hypothesis.
Being on the Trail requires the gathering of information to see if my hypothesis—that the Nephilim tribes were scattered during the conquest of Cannan in a Diaspora and settled in the New World—is true. What we saw in Nazca provides us with clues that help validate this.

From the beginning of time, there have been reports of flying humanoids. Recently, Mexico had a string of sightings of large bloated floating humanoids. Some people believe that these so-called humanoids are no more than a group of balloons floating in the air, but if that is true, what is the account of a flying humanoid that landed near a police vehicle and the Mexican policeman that saw a close-up of this humanoid claimed it looked like an evil haggard witch that had a sinister glare. He was so scared he sped out of the area and never looked back. Below are various reports of flying humanoids. The humanoids below do not come from the minds of DC or Marvel Comics writers and artists; they come from real people like you and me. Read on!
Van Meter Creature. The town of Van Meter, Iowa became under siege on October 1903. We get reports of an entity that has massive membranous wings. It also has a beak and a glowing horn on its head that emits light. Witnesses say that this entity came from an opening of a Van Meter mine shaft. If you believe in the Hollow Earth theory, then you will understand that there is a possible world inside of our Earth. A world described to have crystal cities, flying discs and many strange humanoids. Admiral Byrd was the first one that made claim that he went into an opening in the Earth while in Antarctica and came upon a very strange reality. A reality in which a UFO captured his plane for a while and dragged his plane deeper into the abyss. It’s hard to understand how this great adventurer and explorer would fabricate such a story, unless it really did happen. It is also said that in the subterranean depths of Earth is where Bigfoot takes residence. Many local Indian legends and even the Sumerian Clay Tablets make reference of wild men or Bigfoot living in the deep caverns of our planet.
Valkyrie of Voltana. Voltana is a tiny village nestled in Spain’s remote and scenic Pyrenees Mountains. June 1905, there were several sightings that took place. The location was an epicenter for miraculous series of events. A woman robed in white, with long clinging draperies, has flown over the town of Voltana. When you have multiple witnesses, the story must have some kind of foundation of truth.
Arsenyev’s Flying Man: Military man Vladimir Klavdiyevich Arsenyev. In 1906 did some scientific expeditions into the mountainous Sikhote Alin region. His job was to map and document the unexplored, temperate wilderness to the best of his ability. You can say he was the forerunner for the likes of Google mapping. While on one of his expeditions, he came across a strange flying humanoid that had a distinct human shape and with that human shape came large bat wings. Another incident, the Ivanitzsky family found a small winged creature under their child’s bed. The Ivanitzsky family panicked, but they knew they had to get rid of the creature, so they finally managed to kill this abomination with household chemicals. The creature they saw had five foot leathery wings, three fingered claws, blue fur, and a flat primate like face with large eyes and lipless mouth. This all took place near and around Petersburg, Russia.
Angels of Mons. WWI. Aug 23 1914 British Expeditionary Forces hard push to the German frontlines. Regiment of angels assisted the British according to legend. Arthur Machen wrote a story about phantom archers that were lead by St. George and perhaps this story was confused with the British Expeditionary Forces and angel regiment story. Many scholars that have studied this case believe that this is the case.
Kazakhstan Flying Humanoid: In the town of Pavlodar, Kazakhstan a girl was strolling to school, she makes claim that she saw a medium sized man with black overalls and donning a matching helmet that obscured his face. Wearing an oval rucksack on its back, this flying humanoid emitted a low rumbling noise.
Britain’s Bat Winged Monkey Bird: Witness Jacki Hartley. Seen several times by Jacki and had the attributes of 3 animals, bat, bird and monkey. Was Jacki hallucinating or did she really see this creature? From all reports, she seems to be the only one that saw this creature. Could this creature be demonic in nature and was it merely an attachment that Jacki had?
Madison Birdman: Lisa Letanosky. June 2012. Madisonville, Tennessee. Lisa claims that this creature looked like a Pterodactyl. There were other witnesses to this event, which makes Lisa story appear credible.
Lechuza of Mexico. A bruja (witch) uses dark magic to transform into a birdlike monster. This legend has been around for a long time and when talking with the locals, they absolutely believe in this legend as the solid truth. Some locals believe that if you leave your child unattended that the Lechuza of Mexico will snatch your child and take it away to an unknown destination.
Gwrach-y-Rhibyn. Welsh folklore. Night Hag or Slobber Witch. Flies low over the water. Wears black flowing robes. When I traveled to Cardiff, Wales and sat and had a beer with some of the Welsh locals, they tell of this story with vigor, it’s a story that they actually believe to have some truth to it.
Human Torch of the Black Forest: During the medieval days, a man that appeared to be on fire was flying around a village in the Black Forest and it finally came to rest on a Church steeple. The townsfolk went to the Church and started throwing stones at this flying man on fire. The Human Torch of the Black Forest finally departed, never to be seen again.
Owlman: Seen near the forest by the Mawnan Church. Nearby is ancient earthwork above the Helford River in Cornwall, adjacent to Falmouth Bay. Also seen is sea serpent known as Morgawr. The Owlman with the head of an owl, the body of a man and the wings of an owl has been seen by multiple witnesses. Some people make claim that if you witness the Owlman, that there will soon be a death in your family.
The Hovering 12 Foot Angels: During a long flight, the pilot, co-pilot and navigator of a cargo plane witness angels in the sky. They claim that the angels had wings, 12 feet tall and were simply hovering in the air. The angels were in a circle facing each other, as if they were having some sort of meeting in the air.
Mothman of The Tower Bridge: We all know of the Mothman of Point Pleasant and there are stories that this harbinger of doom was seen before 9/11. Mark Greer (Sacramento resident) and 2 other witnesses in Sacramento that want to remain anonymous claim that they saw a Mothman type of creature along the banks of the Sacramento River. Mark claims that he saw the Mothman on top of the Tower Bridge. This was all reported on News 10. The other two witnesses did not want to be identified, due to the fact that they did not want to be ridiculed in regard to their sighting claim. If the Mothman is a harbinger of doom, it must be noted that nothing disastrous occurred in Sacramento after the sightings. The only disastrous occurrence in Sacramento and the State of California was our State budget fiasco.
Flying Light Being of Greenwood, Indiana. 1996, Pricilla Jiron and Sharon Jansen witnessed a strange light in the night sky zipping around. At first they thought it was a UFO due to the erratic flying behavior of the light. The flying light approached them and then it hovered. Both women could distinctly see that the light was in the form of a man, it had a head, arms, hands, legs and feet. This creature was made of pure light. As they watched, the flying light being placed it palms downward and from the palms of this entity’s hands a radiating light beam shot downwards as if it was the force that propelled the entity to fly straight up into the night sky. This is exactly what happened, after the light beam shot downwards, the entity shot up into the sky and in a blink of the eye, it was gone.
Nazis. UFOs. Put these two words together, and you have one heck of a conspiracy theory. But supposedly, it’s more than just a theory. Because according to a British newspaper, “there is ‘strong evidence’ that a Nazi UFO programme was well advanced.”
The movie Iron Sky riffs off the premise that Nazis created flying saucers. But per the German magazine PM, as reported in The Telegraph, it’s more fact than fiction—evidence exists in an interview given by an eyewitness of the prototype, as well as in the form of UFO sightings during World War II:
The PM report quotes eyewitnesses who believe they saw a flying saucer marked with the Iron Cross of the German military flying low over the Thames in 1944.
At the time the New York Times wrote about a “mysterious flying disc” with photos of the device seen travelling at extremely high speeds over the high-rise buildings. …
Eyewitnesses captured by the Allies after WW2 claimed to have seen the saucer produced in Prague fly on several occasions in early 1945.
As the scientifically minded know, “evidence” is not “proof.” The alleged UFOs were common enough to be given the nickname “foo fighter” (also known by the politically incorrect term “kraut fireballs”). The scientifically minded also know these sightings can be explained by ball lightning, airplane discharge, aviation vertigo and the V-2 rocket.
And as for the eyewitness account, the Nazis were likely developing a new source of propulsion. As we know from the long-range V-2 rocket , the Nazis were forward-thinking when it came to technology. But it’s not likely they managed to succeed.

In 1967 British astronomer Jocelyn Bell Burnell was left stunned by mysterious pulsing signals she detected coming from outside the solar system.
For months she suggested the signals could be of an extraterrestrial intelligent origin, but they were later proven to be rapidly spinning stars known as pulsars.
However, a new series of mysterious signals, known as Fast Radio Bursts(FRBs), has again got astronomers scratching their heads and wondering if, maybe, we’re picking up alien messages.
In 2007 a radio burst was picked up by astronomer Duncan Lorimer and his team. The origin of the signal could be colliding neutron stars or possibly an alien message. This image shows the dispersed signal from the original millisecond radio burst that suggests it must have originated billions of light-years away
FRBs are radio emissions that appear temporarily and randomly, making them not only hard to find, but also hard to study.
WHAT ELSE COULD THE SIGNAL BE?
Flaring star
Some stars are known to suddenly flare up on occasion. It’s possible that this event could send light through the thick ejected layers of a star’s atmosphere in bursts, but if this were the cause we would expect to find FRBs towards variable stars (ones with fluctuating brightness) in our galaxy, which is not the case.
White dwarf merger
When two white dwarfs merge its possible they can combine into a larger, rapidly spinning white dwarf. This event could emit radiation from the poles consistent with FRBs and, if this is proved correct, it could indicate an association between FRBs and supernovae.
Neutron star collision
Ultra-dense stellar known as neutron stars could collide and release huge bursts of radiation before they merge – this event is already thought to be a cause of high-energy bursts known as Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs), and could also be the cause of FRBs.
Blitzar
Some neutron stars are regarded as being ‘supramassive’, which means they are so massive they should have already collapsed into a black hole but their rapid rotation keeps them alive. When they do suddenly collapse they release an intense burst of radio waves known as a blitzar, and within this emission FRBs could also be residing.
The mystery stems from the fact it is not known what could produce such a short and sharp burst.
This has led some to speculate they could be anything from stars colliding to artificially created messages.
The first FRB was spotted, or rather ‘heard’ by radio telescopes, back in 2007 - but it was so temporary and seemingly random that it took years for astronomers to even agree it wasn’t a glitch in one of the telescope's instruments.
The signal, which lasted just five milliseconds, was named the Lorimer burst after its discoverer, Duncan Lorimer.
The radio emission was so dispersed, experts suggested it must have come from a great distance away, possibly billions of light-years.
But early estimates said there should be 10,000 of these events a day – so the fact that another wasn’t discovered until 2012 was troubling.
This was when data from the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia suggested it had heard another FRB, along with a handful of others, but the fact that only Parkes had detected the signals had some claiming these were merely instrument glitches.
A recent discovery, in April of this year, of an FRB using the giant radio dish in Puerto Rico confirmed to astronomers that these signals are indeed real – but they’re no closer to finding out an answer as to what they are.
Theories so far include flaring stars, white dwarfs merging, neutron stars colliding and – most intriguingly – alien signals.
A follow-up observation was made by the Parkes Radio Telescope, time-lapse photo shown, in 2012. However it was not until April of this year that the signal was ruled out as an instrument glitch when the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico picked up a similar signal. But the mystery of its true origin persists
Aside from the extraterrestrial origin explanation, another is that it could be caused by the collision of two neutron stars (artist's illustration shown). When neutron stars collide a black hole is normally formed, in addition to a magnetic field trillions of times stronger than that of Earth, in just two milliseconds
‘This extraordinary finding either indicates an as yet unknown or unusual astronomical phenomenon, or it could indicate that this is a vast alien communication network, and the universe is teeming with intelligent life forms,’ says Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual.
‘Every unusual signal from outer space encourages us to wonder if it is from an alien civilisation.
‘Since this signal seems so elusive and hard to interpret then this should be a candidate for further analysis.
‘It would be fantastic if this was an alien signal as the knowledge that we are not alone in this vast universe would have a dramatic impact on our perception of our place in the scheme of things.'
For now, however, FRBs remain very much a mystery.
It will take further studies and observations in future to truly determine where they come from, and what is causing them. Until then, it’s difficult to rule any particular theory out of the window.
Echoes From the Past: The MJ-12 Disinformation Scheme Still Reverberate
A spotlight has recently been directed at the UFO-related MJ-12 disinformation ploy originating at Kirtland AFB’s Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in the 1980s, involving now-retired AFOSI Agent Richard Doty, who forged government documents and engaged in other nefarious actions—under orders, he claims—to direct interest away from bona fide, secret Air Force operations. Ten months ago, Open Minds’ Alejandro Rojas filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Air Force, in an effort to more fully understand what had taken place. Not surprisingly, Rojas was given no new information; the documents he received from AFOSI were first released to researcher Barry Greenwood and others in the early 1980s. Nevertheless, Rojas should be credited with making an effort to address the still-reverberating episode, given that self-described Richard Dolan and others are currently promoting the supposed legitimacy of the bogus material forged by Doty, his civilian shill Bill Moore, and (more recently, in the MJ-12 2.0 caper) Tim Cooper.
Because I was one of the original investigators of the MJ-12 operation, together with Greenwood and the late Bob Todd, I can offer some insight into the origins, early execution, and still-unfolding repercussions of this colossal and partially-successful effort at misdirection.

In keeping with disinformation-disseminator Doty’s many false or half-true statements over the years, his current position on what occurred is still intentionally misleading. s latest spin regarding the reasons underlying the MJ-12 gambit, which I expose at s interactions with the late Paul Bennewitz. The unfortunate government contractor had stumbled upon, ongoing UFO incursions at the nearby nuclear weapons depository, the Manzano Weapons and, therefore, needed to be neutralized. The person selected for the job was Richard Doty who, before the first phase of the operation fizzled out in the late-1980s, had also successfully duped cattle mutilation expert Linda Moulton Howe, UFO researcher Stanton Friedman, and a host of other persons interested in the secrets the Air Force might hold relating to the Roswell Incident and other aspects of the UFO phenomenon.

As far as I know, this sort of thing has happened only once since 1956.
That was when British magazines started getting eyewitness accounts and grainy photos of the Lockheed U-2, then operating out of RAF Lakenheath on its first spy flights over the Soviet Union. Classified programs have been exposed in all sorts of ways since then – for example, the A-12 Blackbird was disclosed under a degree of pressure- but until the RQ-170 Sentinel was seen at Kandahar in 2007-09 there has been no such aircraft photographed before it was declassified. (And in the case of the RQ-170, the operational security people were not trying too hard.)
With that in mind, let’s look at the photos taken by Steve Douglass and Dean Muskett of an aircraft seen over Amarillo on March 10.

There is speculation that the aircraft is either the RQ-180 or the SR-72. Pictured below.
The Lockheed Martin SR-72 is a conceptualized unmanned, hypersonic aircraft intended for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance proposed by Lockheed Martin to succeed the retired Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
Young Pucheta was found on a rural road parallel to Provincial Route 1 by a farmer returning from the city of General Pico in an area identified by police as “The Triangle”. When we arrived at the site, the farmer was in the middle of the road, away from Pucheta, who rested in a fetal position on the western side of the road, in the direction of Quemú Quemú.
First contact was initiated by Commissioner Ayala, who attempted initial communication without an answer. I approached Pucheta from the right, I knelt to be at his same elevation and noticed that he did not change position and kept his extremities in a visibly rigid position, surely the result of considerable emotional shock.
I tried speaking to him to make him react. I told him that the chief of Regional II was beside him and the person speaking to him was there to help. Subsequently, I asked him to relax by means of a simple breathing exercise, urging him to inhale through his nose and exhale through his mouth. Gradually, Pucheta began to loosen up and I was able to examine his hands without finding any abnormalities. The same occurred with his head, although I couldn’t see his face. He said his eyes burned, keeping his face concealed.
When he stretched his lower extremities, he haltingly began to say: “they followed me all night”. When asked “by who?” he replied: “It was two of them…they had red eyes…”. When asked about his pursuers’ appearance, he said: “They looked transparent…and had red eyes…their eyes made my head hurt…they told me what they wanted me to do…they made me make a phone call…they told me they would come for me tonight…”
Asked about his sidearm, he said: “I don’t know”, a sentence he repeated when asked about his radio and cellphone. “…they followed me all night…” he repeated.
Having relaxed his body considerably, I asked him to stand up, and assisted by Commissioner Ayala, he stood up and began weeping next to his superior. I urged him to do so, in order to relieve his anguish. He concealed his face at all times. He asked to sit down and managed to do so with our assistance. He always kept his face covered with his forearms. Ayala asked him to lift his head, and he did so halfway, but without opening his eyes.
He insisted: “They had red eyes” and that “…they would come for him at night…” His condition was that of a person who had undergone a powerful emotional shock.
He further added that his fingers were burning, but no visible abnormalities were evident. He then said that his feet were burning, and was helped to remove his hiking boots and socks. The soles of his feet presented signs of having walked extensively, with blisters due to perspiration.
A doctor arrived by ambulance, telling him help was on the way, but firmly deciding to convey him directly to Centeno Hospital in General Pico.
We helped him get on the stretcher. He stood up, and covering his face at all times with his forearms, placed himself face down on the stretcher.
His arrival at the hospital prompted readiness in the emergency room. Three nurses assisted him in removing his clothing and Dr. Covella began a surface examination that yielded no abnormalities. I asked whether a sedative was in order, to which the doctor said no, since Pucheta said he was tired and wanted to sleep, leaving unanswered certain questions posed by the physician.
Dr. Covella confirmed that a full workup would be performed (blood and urine) and that he would remain under observation for at least 24 hours. It was ascertained that he had no physical injuries. Pucheta never returned to work again.
The Red Eyes
We are faced with a typology which, while not unknown, has a certain measure of aggressiveness given the aftereffects to the witness. Since the last years of the 1990s, cases had been recorded in the province with the same description: Red eyes. There were several cases in which eyewitnesses claimed seeing something for which “their red eyes” was all that could be described. Some compared them “as if they were two burning coals.”
At about 8:00 p.m., Ron Sullivan, was travelling on a straight sealed section of the Dunolly-St.Arnaud road, near Bourkes Flat, in central country Victoria. Ahead in a pasture off to his right, Sullivan observed an unusual light. He first took it to be a tractor, engaged in night plowing, but as he drew closer, Sullivan began to see a most unusual light display, located at ground level. The following things happened quickly as he drew closer to the scene, and then passed it. He was paying attention to both the light display in the pasture on his right and the road when he observed the following sequence of light display in the strange phenomenon in the pasture.
Initially, as he approached, Sullivan saw a white phosphorous type of light on the ground that appeared to be about 15′ in diameter. It opened up and there was another white oval on top of it, about 30′ in height, coming down making the shape of a cone, with a 15′ bottom diameter and 20′ top diameter. And in that cone were tubes of colored lights, all the lights as you see as you look through the spectrum, all the colors of the rainbow red, blue, indigo & purple. Travelling up and down, or they seem to be, from the small oval to the bigger oval at the top. They were going up and down in shafts. Then gradually the top seemed to come to meet the bottom, They seemed to close in, making a transition of one light oval, similar to first view, everything then just disappeared.
The last thing Sullivan saw of the light display was just a spot on the ground, a light spot, become smaller and smaller, to nothing. Meanwhile, as he was driving, he observed that his car headlight beams suddenly appeared to be pointing in a direction off to the right in the direction of the strange light display and also seemed to be, bending back on an axis with the object in the pasture. As he got closer, the angle of bending of his cars headlight beams became more acute. He thought his car must have been heading off the road to the right, and immediately compensated by turning it to the left. He found he was now heading directly towards a tree on the left hand side of the road. He turned the car to the right to regain the direction of travel along the straight section of road, thoroughly confused and leaving behind the display in the pasture. He had his car lights checked and found them to be working properly. Later in Maryborough he found that a young man from Carnegie, Gary Taylor, was killed in a car accident at Burkes Flat on the night of April 6th, two nights later.
Sullivan reported his experience to police. At the accident site, it was determined that Taylors car had collided with the same tree that Sullivan almost collided with 2 nights earlier. Directly opposite the tree in the pasture, about 70 yards from the roadway, coincident with where Sullivan saw the strange light display, a shallow depression was found in the plowed earth.
It was a little over 3′ in diameter and only a few inches in depth. The depression was cleanly scooped out of the sandy soil with no apparent debris around it. There were no human or animal tracks around the area. The property owner indicated the depression had not been there when he had finished plowing. There appeared to be no explanation for the depression or the light display. NOTE: The above image is a witness rendering.

A flaming object has reportedly fallen from the sky and hit the ground “like a bomb”, according to residents in Queensland, Australia.
What seemed to be a massive ball with a blue and orange tail appeared in the sky and then plunged towards the ground.
No debris was found where the object crashed.
“We happened to catch this blazing light that was … just falling straight down,” Mount Isa resident Virginia Hills told ABC News.
“I am actually flabbergasted at the attention at the moment because it was just a complete fluke.”
Hills managed to take some pictures of the flaming objects.
“If we hadn’t have been up there doing that, if I didn’t have my camera pointed in that direction, it would never have happened.”
Townsville resident Kim Vega was sitting in her backyard at the moment of impact.
“It was like an explosion but without a sound,” she said.
“It [would have been] like an atomic bomb effect when it would have hit the ground and all the trees and the skies lit up.”
Another Townsville resident, Terry Robinson, said the fireball looked “amazing”, adding: “It was pretty big and this thing hit like a bomb – it was huge.
“I don’t know how big it was, but in the sky it looked like half a dozen jumbo jets falling out of the sky at the same time.”
Police said officers in Townsville had received one report about the incident, and had investigated to ensure it wasn’t an aviation accident.
Astronomer Owen Bennedick suggested the object was not a meteor but more likely part of a satellite re-entering the Earth’s atmosphere.
“Each different metal or each different plastic that a satellite’s made of will burn at a different temperature and have a different colour spectrum” he said.
“Only the heavier objects make it to ground – the rest of it burns up in the atmosphere.”
Bennedick added that falling satellite debris was becoming more and more common.
Buried deep in the Siberian permafrost and untouched for over 30,000 years, researchers have discovered what is thought to be the newest representative of what are loosely known as “giant viruses.”
A team led by Jean-Michel Claverie and Chantal Abergel of Aix-Marseille University in Marseille, France, made the discovery of the previously unknown virus, which has been dubbed Pithovirus sibericum and can be revived in the lab.
Lest Siberian excavation makes you think of frozen woolly mammoths, make no mistake: These giants are still decidedly microscopic. But in the diminutive world of viruses they’re larger than normal specimens, measuring 1.5 microns in length and 0.5 microns in diameter. The pandoraviruses, the largest viruses previously discovered, also by the team of Claverie and Abergel, measure 1 micron in length and 0.5 in diameter.
“‘Giant’ viruses are loosely defined as the ones that you can see under a regular microscope,” explained Claverie and Abergel when contacted via email.
Large and Complex
Giant viruses also dwarf other viruses in terms of genetic complexity. The newly discovered Pithovirus contains 500 genes, and the aforementioned Pandoravirus can contain up to 2,500.
For comparison, the HIV virus contains only about 12 genes, explained James Van Etten, a professor of plant pathology at the University of Nebraska, when reached for comment. (Van Etten is an authority on viruses and edited the new study.)
Amazingly, even after more than 30,000 years embedded in ancient permafrost, when Claverie and Abergel exposed amoebas in their lab to the virus, they found that the virus was still active and quickly infected the host cell. “We use amoeba on purpose as a safe bait for capturing viruses. We then immediately verify that they are not able to infect animal/human cells,” stressed the researchers.
Giant viruses are not just bigger but are hardier than others as well, said the researchers. This hardiness, along with a favorable environment, likely helped the newly discovered specimen stay intact for the thousands of years that it did. Viruses are often destroyed or rendered inactive by a number of factors, including light and biochemical degradation.
“Among known viruses, the giant viruses tend to be very tough, almost impossible to break open,” said Claverie and Abergel. “Special environments such as deep ocean sediments and permafrost are very good preservers of microbes [and viruses] because they are cold, anoxic [lacking oxygen], and in the dark.”
Intricate and Varied
The past decade has seen something of a renaissance in the discovery of large, genetically complex viruses, with the discovery of three distinct groups (Mimivirus, Pandoravirus, and now Pithovirus) suggesting that viruses can be much more intricate and varied than previously thought, and that giant viruses may not be especially uncommon.
The newly discovered diversity in genetic makeup and morphology among viruses leads Van Etten to surmise that different types of viruses may have evolved separately.
“The idea that all viruses evolved from one common origin, I suspect is not true,” said Van Etten.
Changing Climate: Growing Threat?
If long-buried viruses can be unearthed, what else might be capable of coming to the surface? Climate change as well as industrial activities may shake up the ancient ice enough to bring potential pathogens to the surface.
“Mining and drilling means … digging through these ancient layers for the first time in millions of years. If ‘viable’ [viral particles] are still there, this is a good recipe for disaster,” said Claverie and Abergel.
But Edward Mocarski, a professor of microbiology at Emory University, says the risk of a virus pathogenic to humans being released from the ice is very small.
“The idea would make a great movie but is extremely unlikely unless the virus came from a frozen human being who possibly died from a virus that is no longer in circulation,” said Mocarski when contacted via email.
“A very small proportion [of the viruses on Earth] represent viruses that can infect mammals and an even smaller proportion pose any risk to humans.”
University of Nebraska’s Van Etten agreed that such a situation was unlikely but possible with the right conditions.
“The biggest source of genes on the planet is probably from viruses, and they’re just everywhere, but in general they’re highly specific for the organisms that they grow in,” said Van Etten.
The researchers behind the discovery, Claverie and Abergel, believe that whether or not it’s likely, such a scenario remains feasible. They counsel vigilance and continued testing. As their latest research has shown, large DNA viruses may remain infectious for very long stretches of time.
“The fact that we might catch a viral infection from a long-extinct Neanderthal individual is a good demonstration that the notion that a virus could be ‘eradicated’ from the planet is plain wrong and gives us a false sense of security. At least a stock of vaccine should be kept, just in case,” said Claverie and Abergel.
Their research will now turn to assessing how real a threat these ancient viruses pose.
“We are now doing more work to analyze the DNA content of these permafrost layers in a search for the genetic signature of viruses resembling human pathogens,” said Claverie and Abergel, who stressed that they are not attempting to “revive” any such pathogenic viruses, but rather hoping to determine the potential danger.
“If we find some [human pathogens], then the risk will become more real. If not, we will be safe.”

De dood van Marilyn Monroe in 1962 was geen zelfmoord maar moord. Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy, de jongere broer van president John F. Kennedy, wilde voorkomen dat de actrice geheimen van de familie zou onthullen. Dat schrijven twee Amerikaanse onderzoeksjournalisten in hun boek The Murder of Marilyn Monroe: Case Closed, dat op 3 juni uitkomt.
Beide broers hadden een affaire met Norma Jean Baker, beter bekend als Marilyn Monroe. Het Amerikaanse sekssymbool wist te veel van de beruchte familie Kennedy en toen ze dreigde ermee naar buiten te komen is haar voorgoed het zwijgen opgelegd.
De ervaren onderzoeksjournalist Jay Margolis en bestseller-auteur Richard Buskin baseren zich op verklaringen van ooggetuigen. Acteur Peter Lawford zei: “Bobby Kennedy was vastbesloten haar het zwijgen op te leggen.” Volgens de auteurs gaf Ralph Greenson, de psychiater en minnaar van Marilyn, haar een fatale injectie in haar hart. Ambulancebroeders James Hall en Muray Liebowitz waren hier getuige van.

Het lichaam werd nog verplaatst om het op een zelfmoord te doen lijken. John F. Kennedy werd in 1963 vermoord en zijn broer Bobby in 1968.
Uit een gelekte CIA-memo, die dateert van 3 augustus 1962, blijkt dat de geplande persconferentie onder meer zou gaan over een geheime luchtmachtbasis waar president Kennedy wrakstukken van een gecrashte UFO had gezien. De memo werd in 1994 openbaar gemaakt.
Zijn er naast de oerknaltheorie nog andere hypothetische verklaringen voor het ontstaan van het bekende universum? We bespreken drie alternatieven voor de Big Bang.
Steady-statetheorie
Volgens deze kosmologische theorie was het heelal er altijd al en zal het altijd blijven uitdijen. De theorie werd in 1948 door zowel Hermann Bondi en Thomas Gold als Fred Hoyle opgesteld uit onvrede met het feit dat er in de oerknaltheorie een begin of scheppingsmoment wordt aangenomen.
Het heelal zag er volgens de steady-statetheorie in een ver verleden net zo uit als nu. Uit waarnemingen bleek dat het heelal continu uitdijt. Om het uiterlijk van het heelal constant te laten zijn, moet die uitzetting met constante snelheid plaatsvinden. Daarnaast moet de dichtheid van het heelal gelijk blijven, zelfs als het heelal uitdijt. Dit zou kunnen door het continu ‘bijmaken’ van materie uit het niets.
Een tegenslag was de ontdekking van de kosmische achtergrondstraling in 1965. Volgens de Big Bang-theorie is die een gevolg van de oerknal. Hoyle kwam later met de quasi steady-statetheorie, die uitging van meerdere Big Bangs om daarmee de kosmische achtergrondstraling te kunnen verklaren.
Theorie van het oscillerende heelal
Deze theorie ontkent de Big Bang niet, maar stelt dat er mogelijk vele opeenvolgende Big Bangs zijn geweest. Tussen iedere Big Bang was er een Big Crunch, een ineenstorting van het heelal als gevolg van de zwaartekracht. Misschien ontstaat hieruit weer een nieuw heelal. Indien het universum zich op deze manier blijft herhalen spreekt men van een pulserend heelal (Big Bounce).
Chaotische inflatie
In 1983 formuleerde de Russisch-Amerikaanse fysicus Andrei Linde de populaire theorie van de chaotische inflatie – een visie waarin ons heelal één van de talloze loten is aan een oneindig grote kosmische multiversum-boom. Begin 2014 werd het bewijs geleverd voor zijn theorie.
Volgens de oerknaltheorie zal het heelal uitdijen, maar als er meerdere ruimten zijn die dat ook doen, zullen ze elkaar op den duur kruisen. Dit hangt nauw samen met het idee van het multiversum. Er ontstaan nieuwe centra, waar materie zich opnieuw samenvoegt, en waar zodoende ook nieuwe oerknallen kunnen ontstaan. Zo ontstaat er een soort superheelal.

The Peruvian legends tell of the red-haired giants arriving on reed boats from long distances and settling in Peru without any females on board. A recent giant found in the Upper Midwest was buried with two human-sized females at his feet. These things make one wonder. Let's see what an early explorer reported –

As there is in Peru a story of some giants who landed on the coast at the point of Santa Elena, in the vicinity of the city of Puerto Viejo, I have resolved to mention what I was told about them, as I understood it, without taking into account the opinions of the common people and their various anecdotes, for they usually magnify events larger than life. The natives, repeating a story received from their forefathers from very remote times, say that there came from across the sea on reed rafts that were as large as big ships some men that were so big that an ordinary man of good size scarcely reached up to their knees: their members were in proportion to the size of their bodies, and it a monstrous thing to see their enormous heads and their hair hanging downabout their shoulders. Their eyes were as large as small plates. They say they had no beards and that some of them were clad in the skins of animals, and others only in the dress nature gave them. There were no women with them. (*This red-haired population of giants were reported around the world, showing a tendency to be sea-based people who traveled, seashells were prominent in the dig sites of giants as ornamental and reed boats were described by the Paiutes of the red-haired giants in the Great Basin in Nevada. )On reaching this point, they set up their camp like a village (and even in these times there is a memory of the site of their houses). As they found no supply of water they remedied the lack by making some very deep wells, a labor certainly worthy of record, being undertaken by such strong men as these must have been, to judge by their size. They dug these wells in the living rock until they came to the water, and afterwards they built the wells in stone from the water line upwards so that they would last for ages. In these wells the water is excellent and it is always so cold that it is very drink. “When these great men or giants had thus made their settlement and dug these wells or cisterns, they destroyed and ate all the supplies they could find in the neighborhood.It is said that one of them ate more than fifty of the natives of the land; and as the supply of food was not sufficient for them to maintain themselves, they caught much fish with nets and gear that they had. They lived in continuous hostility with the natives, because they slew the latter's women in order to have them, and they also slew the men for other reasons. (yet more talk of mating up with local women and eating the Native People). But the Indians were not numerous enough to kill these newcomers who occupied their land and lorded it over them; and although they held great discussions about this, they never dared attack them.
“After some years the giants were still in this region, and as they had no women of their own and the Indian women of the neighborhood were too small for them, or else because the vice was habitual to them and inspired by the demon, they practiced the unspeakable and horrible sin of sodomy, committing it openly and in public without fear of God or personal shame. The natives say that our Lord God, unwilling to conceal so wicked a sin, sent them a punishment suited to the beastliness of the crime, and when all the giants were together engaged in this accursed practice there came a fearful fire from heaven to the accompaniment of a great noise, in the midst of which a shining angel appeared holding a sharp, bright sword with which he slew them all at a single stroke, and the fire consumed them leaving only a few bones and skulls, which God allowed to remain unconsumed as a token of the punishment.
This is the account they give of the giants, and we believe that it happened, for it is said that very large bones have been found and still are found thereabouts and I have heard Spaniards say they have seen pieces of teeth which they thought must have weighed half a pound when whole, and who had also seen a piece of a shin-bone of wonderful size, all of which bears witness to the truth of the incident. In addition to this one can see the places where the sites of their villages were, and also the wells or cisterns they made. I cannot state whence or how these giants came there.
“In the present year of 1550 when in the city of Lima, I heard that when his excellency Don Antonio de Mendoza was viceroy and governor of New Spain, certain bones of men as big as these giants, and even bigger, were found there. I have heard too that in an ancient sepulcher in the city of Mexico or somewhere else in that kingdom certain bones of giants have been found. Since so many people saw them and attest having done so, it can therefore be credited that such giants did exist and indeed they may all have been of the same race. “At this point of Santa Elena, which is as I have said on the coast of Peru and in the district of the city of Puerto Viejo, there is a remarkable phenomenon: the existence of certain wells of seams of pitch of such excellent quality that it would be possible to tar all the ships one wished with it, since it flows from the earth. This pitch must be from some seam passing through that place: it comes out very hot,etc. “Thus far Pedro de Cieza, whose history we have followed to show the Indian tradition about the giants, and the well of pitch at the same place, for it too is remarkable.”
This account above would seem to jive with the “kernels of truth” in these legends. A tall race of red-haired people had been uncovered there. Well-fashioned water wells were discovered that were ancient. It would appear likely that ancient giants launched from the South Pacific islands and tested out other lands for their resources. These launched ships arrived and these marauding cannibalistic, but advanced people would terrorize the locals. These repeated legends of giants coming and raping the women were no doubt reenacted in many lands around the world where stories such as nephilim might have come to light through these legends of actual events. Were the giants angelic or alien? My firm belief is that they were of this earth, simply an earlier, perhaps more crude and brutal people, but also having more time to evolve technologies and language long before us. They were both devils and gods depending on how the locals felt about these advanced deadly people. And, ultimately the practice of sacrifices could have come from appeasing these gods with the blood they so craved, carrying on these devotions even after the giants were gone, in order to keep their spirits happy and to continue to have good crops and technology that they left them, sending a crude people into an advanced culture almost overnight from their exposure to the giant “gods.”
Animal mutilation has been taking place on this planet for hundreds if not thousands of years. Reports of animals found with organs removed, bloodless by methods mankind could not replicate were collected by author Charles Fort going back to the 1800; s. During my research I read claims that reference to the strange findings of bloodless, organ less animals that date back much further than that. This lets us know that we have been collecting data on this subject for at least a few hundred years.
Like most people I found this subject disturbing and dark. When I did read about it the entire topic was so unexplained and upsetting that I never wanted to look in to it past the knowledge that it still is an ongoing situation with bloodless surgically removed internal body organs missing and empty corpses of animals dumped to be found close to where they were originally taken.
It seems the dead empty corpses returned by who or whatever is doing these things drop them from a height leaving the animals embedded in to the ground by way of the weight of the remains hitting the ground from a long fall back to earth, This theory seems to be proven by way of some of the animal corpses being found stuck on the tops of tall tree limbs or in the wires and poles of our infrastructure.
In the past I have written a few articles warning the public that a worldwide oddity of half cat mutilations were taking place. The cats were taken by something and gutted with usually the top half of the head and front paws returned also bloodless with clear precision laser type cuts used to remove their internal organs. The poor cats are returned looking like a hand puppet to the areas from which they were taken in what appears to be on purpose for those who owned or knew the cat to find. This cat mutilation has been going on for about the last 30 years that has been recorded in news reports or articles found all over the world. I found all of this extremely upsetting and knew it needed to be addressed as it certainly was not going away.
I did write about it only to find many people were offended and angry at me for writing about it as well as a few paranormal sites refusing to publish my warning articles about the half cat horror.
I hated this subject and did not want to be involved in it so did as everyone else has been doing which is to ignore it or look the other way
Recently I read an article by Dr. Richard Bonenfant in which he discusses the awful continued slaughter, mutilation and return of animal emptied corpses worldwide. Dr. Bonenfant is well qualified as a man I would listen to concerning this serious dark subject. Dr. Bonenfant enlisted in the Army / Special Forces in 1962. Since that time he has received Bachelor Degrees in Archaeology and Psychology; a Master’s Degree in Anthropology and a Doctorate in Psychology. His work as a Research Scientist in Albany, New York, which assisted him in discovering an acute interest in exceptional experiences.
I quickly discovered by way of his writing that animal mutilations were more widespread then I had thought. It included cattle, horses, goats and basically most large farm or ranch type animal life forms. He informed me that the same mutilations found in our controlled environments of ranches and farms was being found out in the wilds where large wild beasts were also being found all over the planet This I found extremely upsetting and decided to contact Dr. Bonnefant for an interview with me and Randy Maugans who is the host of ‘ Off Planet Radio’.
We were very fortunate to have Dr. Bonnefant agree and we were able to tape a fantastic interview with him where we were able to discuss not only what is going on but many theories to who and why it is being done.
Sadly I learned during this show that humans have slowly been added to the strange on going mutilation problem which I found extremely upsetting and why I feel it time for us all to start to investigate and demand more research concerning these horrific mutilation events.
I know after talking with Dr. Bonenfant and Randy Maugans that the opinions I use to have about this subject were most likely wrong. Since black helicopters were mentioned around many of the reports of the mutilations I quickly adapted a government is doing it opinion which quickly was washed away once I found out that reports had been found dating as far back at least to the 1800′s if not older. There were no flying machines during that time period or surgical procedures available to do what was being done in the mutilation of the animals.
I also learned by way of our conversation that there may be many different reasons for this activity to be taking place including long term case studies of some type of experiment or interference of some kind with the living animals on our planet including humans. These experiments could involve watching, creating or inserting disease into our animal kingdom or somehow manipulating our food supply for reasons we may not be able to understand. I do know that after spending time talking to Dr. Bonenfant this subject of strange advanced style of precise mutilation and inference being done to the living creatures of this planet has been going on for at least hundreds if not thousands of years.
We do report that it takes place but not in the manner it deserves. This is a serious issue that deserves our serious attention. We also do little to research why and who or what is doing this across the world which is a huge mistake on our part and seems to be yet another one of those big topics we love to kick under the carpet instead of dealing with head on.
I came away from our conversation thinking that not only are there more cases of mutilation going on with many more living creatures on this planet then I fully understood but also they could be being done by more than one source and for a multitude of reasons all of which we are completely ignorant and ill informed about. It is time for that to stop and for us all to need and want to know what is really going on with this disturbing issue of worldwide mutilations.

Animal mutilation has been taking place on this planet for hundreds if not thousands of years. Reports of animals found with organs removed, bloodless by methods mankind could not replicate were collected by author Charles Fort going back to the 1800; s. During my research I read claims that reference to the strange findings of bloodless, organ less animals that date back much further than that. This lets us know that we have been collecting data on this subject for at least a few hundred years.Like most people I found this subject disturbing and dark. When I did read about it the entire topic was so unexplained and upsetting that I never wanted to look in to it past the knowledge that it still is an ongoing situation with bloodless surgically removed internal body organs missing and empty corpses of animals dumped to be found close to where they were originally taken. It seems the dead empty corpses returned by who or whatever is doing these things drop them from a height leaving the animals embedded in to the ground by way of the weight of the remains hitting the ground from a long fall back to earth, This theory seems to be proven by way of some of the animal corpses being found stuck on the tops of tall tree limbs or in the wires and poles of our infrastructure.In the past I have written a few articles warning the public that a worldwide oddity of half cat mutilations were taking place. The cats were taken by something and gutted with usually the top half of the head and front paws returned also bloodless with clear precision laser type cuts used to remove their internal organs. The poor cats are returned looking like a hand puppet to the areas from which they were taken in what appears to be on purpose for those who owned or knew the cat to find. This cat mutilation has been going on for about the last 30 years that has been recorded in news reports or articles found all over the world. I found all of this extremely upsetting and knew it needed to be addressed as it certainly was not going away.I did write about it only to find many people were offended and angry at me for writing about it as well as a few paranormal sites refusing to publish my warning articles about the half cat horror.I hated this subject and did not want to be involved in it so did as everyone else has been doing which is to ignore it or look the other wayRecently I read an article by Dr. Richard Bonenfant in which he discusses the awful continued slaughter, mutilation and return of animal emptied corpses worldwide. Dr. Bonenfant is well qualified as a man I would listen to concerning this serious dark subject. Dr. Bonenfant enlisted in the Army / Special Forces in 1962. Since that time he has received Bachelor Degrees in Archaeology and Psychology; a Master’s Degree in Anthropology and a Doctorate in Psychology. His work as a Research Scientist in Albany, New York, which assisted him in discovering an acute interest in exceptional experiences.I quickly discovered by way of his writing that animal mutilations were more widespread then I had thought. It included cattle, horses, goats and basically most large farm or ranch type animal life forms.
