Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

New Giant Telescope to Join the Hunt for Alien Life
In the search for extraterrestrial life, scientists are about to get a major boost. Slated to begin construction in 2018, the Square Kilometer Array will scan the stars, hunting for the radio signals of distant civilizations.
Since the early 20th century, mankind has communicated massive amounts of data through wireless transmissions. Radio programs, television shows, military radar signals have all traveled across the globe.
But those signals don’t stop at our atmosphere. Boundless, they travel out into the universe at the speed of light.
Meaning, theoretically, that Plutonian squid monsters could be watching our old reruns of "Two and a Half Men."
But it works both ways. Working on the assumption that any advanced civilization will inevitably develop radio technology, scientists with the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) have been combing the skies, looking for signs.
"A unique aspect for the search of life in the universe is the question of whether advanced life evolves intelligence," Andrew Siemion, with the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy, said during the Astrobiology Science Conference in June.
"The only way to answer that in the foreseeable future is to look directly for evidence," he added. "For that, you need a large telescope."
And a large telescope is exactly what SETI researchers are about to get. With plans for construction in both Australia and South Africa, the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) has been funded by a number of different countries and will be comprised of thousands of small antennae.
Massive radio telescopes already exist for such purposes. The Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, for example, is the world’s largest, stretching 1,000 feet across the jungle. In addition to SETI research, it’s used for a number of purposes, including atmospheric science and radar astronomy.
A group of international financial terrorists even use the observatory to control an electromagnetic pulse satellite in 1995’s "Goldeneye." In real life, however, the dish is not camouflaged by an artificial lake. Sorry.
While the SKA would be composed of thousands of small antennae, taken as a whole, they would be significantly larger than the Arecibo Observatory. This will allow scientists to detect even fainter signals.
How faint? In theory, SKA could pick up a signal equivalent to an aircraft’s radar within a range of 200 light-years.
A Galactic Goose Chase?
While many are excited about SKA’s prospects, the project isn’t without criticism.
For one, some are skeptical about the idea of spending such vast amounts of money on a telescope when similar devices already exist. Though the search for extraterrestrial life is only one of SKA's objectives, SETI itself strikes some as a fruitless pursuit. If we truly are alone, their reasoning goes, it seems wasteful to endlessly pump millions into a search that looks for signs it will simply never find.
We’ve been searching for 30 years, after all, with little to show for it.
But there’s also another problem. If we look at humanity as a model – and really, what other alternative do we have – radio wave technology is little more than a century old and is already being phased out in favor of new, digital technology. Aliens may enjoy old episodes of "The Honeymooners" from network television, but they’re going to have a harder time picking up the latest season of "True Detective" – not that they’re missing much.
Could anyone in the galaxy really buy this performance?
If alien civilizations follow a similar trajectory, then artificially created radio waves could have a relatively minor presence in the universe.
Still, that’s not deterring SETI researchers. While SKA will certainly search for the kind of random signals which would emanate from alien broadcasts, they’re also hoping to detect something a little more focused: transplanetary communications.
It’s possible that if extraterrestrial societies exist that would spread beyond their host planet. Just as NASA is developing plans to colonize Mars, distant civilizations could also spread throughout their own solar system. In that event, the best way to communicate between planets would still be via wireless radio waves.
Intentionally focused out into space, those waves would be even easier to detect, especially for an instrument as sensitive as SKA.
It’s certainly possible that the search for extraterrestrial intelligence will never bear fruit. It’s hard to imagine that we’re alone in the massive depths of the universe, but until we find at least one other instance of life, we don’t really have enough data to make any estimates. It’s also possible that even if life exists elsewhere, it may not overlap with our own.
In the thirty years of scanning the stars, have scientists found any promising signs? One.
In 1977, a scientist working with the Big Ear radio telescope at Ohio State University caught a strange signal emanating from the constellation Sagittarius. Lasting 72 seconds, the signal bore all the signs of having a non-traditional, none-Solar System origin. It’s now commonly referred to as the "Wow! Signal," as it surprised its discoverer so much that he circled the data on a printout, writing "Wow!" in the margins.
Despite many attempts, that signal has never been detected since, and scientists still have no explanation for it.

Het is goed mogelijk dat een hoogontwikkelde buitenaardse beschaving op dit moment probeert contact met ons op te nemen. Dr. Nathalie Cabrol van het SETI Institute in Californië zegt dat wij mensen mogelijk nog niet slim genoeg zijn om de signalen op te vangen.
Dr. Cabrol verwacht dat het niet lang meer duurt voordat we microbieel leven in ons zonnestelsel en intelligent leven elders in het heelal zullen vinden. Ze denkt dat we binnen een generatie buitenaardse organismen in de buurt van de aarde en een replica van onze planeet in een ander sterrenstelsel gaan ontdekken.
“We hebben geen idee hoe een buitenaardse beschaving denkt”
“In de afgelopen 100 jaar hebben we veel vooruitgang geboekt,” zei Cabrol. “Als er een beschaving is die ook maar 1000 jaar ouder is dan de onze, kun je niet weten wat voor technologie zij gebruiken om met anderen te communiceren.”
“We kijken vanuit ons eigen standpunt naar het universum,” ging ze verder. “We stellen vragen vanuit ons eigen referentiekader, maar we hebben geen idee hoe een buitenaardse beschaving denkt.”
De zoektocht naar buitenaards leven is momenteel vooral gericht op het opvangen van radiosignalen. Eerder dit jaar pikten wetenschappers bijvoorbeeld mysterieuze signalen op van buiten ons zonnestelsel.
Mysterieuze radioflitsen
De signalen volgen een opmerkelijk wiskundig patroon. De kans dat zoiets toevallig gebeurt, is slechts 5 op 10.000. De 11 korte signalen zijn zogeheten radioflitsen die maar enkele milliseconden duren. Niemand weet waar ze vandaan komen. Opmerkelijk genoeg zijn de eenheden bij deze signalen steeds een veelvoud van 187,5.
Britse astronomen stelden onlangs dat we op zoek moeten naar tekenen van aliens die zichzelf de das om hebben gedaan. Als een verre beschaving zichzelf vernietigt door middel van een wereldwijde kernoorlog zou dat leiden tot een korte uitbarsting van gammastraling, die lijkt op de gammaflitsen die sterrenkundigen geregeld waarnemen.
Oud-astronaut John Grunsfeld zei eerder dit jaar dat aliens – als ze er zijn – al weten dat we bestaan. Hij denkt dat iemand met een grote telescoop ons al op 20 lichtjaar kan detecteren. “Als er leven in de ruimte is, intelligent leven, weten ze dat we er zijn,” zei hij.

Twee verschillende getuigen nemen een vreemd object waar in de lucht bij de stad Passadena in de Amerikaanse staat Texas.
Bij beiden was hun telefoon na enkele seconden “dood” en een afbeelding op Twitter werd razendsnel verwijderd.
De hiernavolgende foto werd enkele dagen geleden gemaakt door een 16-jarige jongen die met zijn ouders hun huwelijksdag vierde op een boot voor de kust van Passadena in de Amerikaanse staat Texas.
Het was donker, behalve de maan was er niet veel licht en de jongen had geen idee wat hij had gefotografeerd. Daarom stuurde hij de de beelden naar een vrij bekend Youtube kanaal, genaamd Secureteam.
De reden dat hij dit naar hen stuurde is omdat ze al eerder interessante beelden hadden laten zien van vreemde vliegende objecten boven Texas.
Ook Secureteam had geen idee wat het was, mede omdat iedere verdere context ontbrak, maar plaatste deze foto op hun Twitteraccount in de hoop dat iemand iets zou herkennen.
Binnen enkele minuten nadat deze foto was geplaatst, werd deze echter door Twitter verwijderd/gecensureerd.
De dag nadat dit was gebeurd stuurt iemand anders een video-opname naar het Secureteam, genomen bij Passadena.
De volgende afbeelding is afkomstig uit die video en het is dezelfde UFO als die is gefotografeerd door de 16-jarige jongen.
De bovenstaande opname is gemaakt door een man die met zijn hond aan het wandelen was in Passadena.
Het frappante is dat beide getuigen die dit object hebben vastgelegd, zeggen dat enkele ogenblikken nadat ze hun mobiele telefoon hadden gebruikt om de opnamen te maken deze “dood” (uitgevallen) waren.

I saw one of these glowing red UFOs once, moving slowing from the ocean area toward the beach here in Taiwan. The closest land in the opposite direction was 1 hour by jet (China. They do exist and are as silent as the night, except this guy in NY was lucky enough to see it change direction and and it came back. Scott C. It went to the same area north and disappeared. I looked for a bit, seemed to come back where we lost it, but was hovering lost it again hard to see with ambient light and trees. Those areas are commonly known as the Nevada Test Site and Area 51. Through the years the Federal Government took control of a large chunk of the land and used it for various military testing. The Sheahan's property was essentially swallowed up. After 60 plus years of being neighbors, the Federal Government offered to buy out the Sheahan family.

It was orange, she added, it was reminiscent of Chinese lanterns. " She said the unidentified object, which had somewhat the look of a "lamp" or a "fireball" moved slowly to the end of the street. "It was still at low level was too low to be an airplane or a helicopter," she says. The 26 year old woman has just had time to take a photo with his smartphone before the light disappears. Pictured (below), one can see a very bright point in the center and another, more diffuse, up the image.
"When you really zooms the photo earlier in the photo you see there as a second point," Ms. Cyr tip. "It's like a spark of light with as bars on the side, as if it would be something solid." Intrigued, Jennifer Cyr, who confessed we believe in aliens, did some research on the Internet to see if similar phenomena had already been observed. Indeed, another object "orange ball" similar to that described by Ms. Cyr had already been observed in Victoriaville on 15 August. A witness quoted on the website of the Quebec Association of Ufology reports seeing "orange spherical object and he had a light beam of a pale orange".

A man videotaped four orb-like objects travelling against the wind above Salt Lake County, Utah, according to Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) reporting database Case 64303. The witness first saw the object at around 6:40 p.m. on March 29, 2015.
According to the report, the witness firs saw four objects altogether. One object then left, and another one followed. The other two remained stationary.
The witness then started recording the strange phenomenon.
The objects then drifted slowly towards the east until they disappeared to the view of the witness.
Investigators Erica Lukes and Heather Giesen closed the case as an unknown. In their report, Lukes and Giesen stated that the witness first thought they might be balloons, but realized that they were moving against the wind.
The investigators reviewed the weather data and confirmed that the wind was moving in the opposite direction of the objects in question. After speaking with the witness and reviewing the footage, the investigators were convinced the objects were not behaving like weather balloons or Google Loon balloons.
Investigators did not rule out the possibility of drones, but at this point they classify the case as unknown. They are ready to amend the file and case disposition if new information is received.
Salt Lake County in Utah has a little more than a million population.

Er is hoop voor al die mensen die het fenomeen UFO fascinerend vinden, maar er nog nooit zelf één hebben gezien.
De Mexicaanse Manuel Loría Alejos die al meer dan 20 jaar als amateur onderzoek doet naar UFO’s, is zo iemand.
Voor hem is het dubbel frustrerend omdat hij in Mexico woont en waar vergeleken met bijna alle andere plekken op aarde, de meeste UFO's gespot worden.
Alles veranderde enkele dagen geleden toen Manuel op bezoek ging bij zijn ouderlijk huis aan de kust van het Mexicaanse schiereiland Yucatan.
Hij zegt daarover het volgende:
Al tientallen jaren lang heb ik alles gelezen wat ik kon vinden over het UFO-fenomeen, maar tot vorige week vrijdag heb ik er nog nooit zelf één gezien. Ik was in het gezelschap van mijn vader, vrouw, broers en mijn kinderen. We zagen een vreemd licht aan de horizon.
Het was blauwachtig en eerst bewoog het in een rechte lijn om vervolgens te gaan zigzaggen.
Ik was de eerste die het zag toen ik op het strand was. Ik belde onmiddellijk mijn familie omdat ik het gevoel had dat het geen normaal licht was.
In totaal waren er zes getuigen en we zagen na een minuut of twee dat het sneller begon te bewegen en uiteindelijk verdween.
Commentaar van ufoloog Scott C. Waring:
Een UFO-onderzoeker in Mexico zag zijn eerste UFO en het detail op de foto diehij maakte, is het beste dat ik in dit jaar ben tegengekomen.
We kunnen zien dat het een halve schijf is met een groter lager oppervlak. Onderaan zie je duidelijk een witachtige vervorming die waarschijnlijk wordt veroorzaakt door het voortstuwingssysteem. Dit is dan weer vermengd met het water dat er vanaf druipt.
Deze UFO werd vastgelegd boven de oceaan omdat hij uit het water kwam. Het is een welbekend feit dat buitenaardsen geen bases hebben onder het water, maar kilometers diep onder de bodem van de oceaan. Wat opvalt is de prachtige bronskleur.

A Queensland witness in Sunshine Coast recorded a UFO in the sky near his home on video. Joshua Ross captured a mobile video of a yellow/white glow hovering above houses. In an interview with Channel 7 News, he said the UFO was going side to side, up and down, then round and round. He saw it went in one direction and shot back the other direction. The mysterious aerial object then went under a tree and disappeared from the witness’ view.
The video has reached to Facebook and received mix comments from social media users. One said that it could be a plane, a fireball, or even a bird.
Mr Ross can’t determine its identity, suspecting it was a UFO. However, astronomers believe it was likely a fist-sized meteor and the hovering effect may be due to the cloud covering in the sky.
The UFO sighting report came after the new documentary film hoping to shed light on an increasing number of reported extraterrestrial encounters in Australia broke into the news.
The movie, Australian Skies, features the alleged evidence of UFO sightings across the country and skywatchers who have spied something from the outer-space.
The film’s director Don Meers said he made the film because he wanted to see if we can understand the UFO phenomenon. Secondly, he wanted to know what are these objects, and lastly, he wished to see these objects personally up close.
A qualified UFOlogist, Damien Nott, is one of the key personalities of the documentary. Nott claimed he had more than 200 photos and videos of UFO sightings. Many of Nott’s sightings feature bright objects floating in the sky.
Nott said in a preview release of the film that he had a number of very strange experiences, but he’s not going to claim that he has spoken to aliens and that they told him all these things about the planet.
The documentary also included the Liam Freaney story about the men in black who approached him after his UFO encounters that started in March 2013.
We were having a family/friends get together to celebrate a birthday. During the celebration two of my nephews and a niece came tearing into the house, screaming at the top of their lungs, saying that a plane crashed in one of the adjacent pastures. My brother, myself and about 3 others walked outside to see what was causing all the ruckus. We didn’t see anything out of the ordinary except a strange burning smell that smelled like burning mesquite. we didn’t think anything of it since it was kind of nippy and someone could have been burning some wood in their fireplaces. We told them to show us where they saw the plane go down and we walked over to the place they showed us. The first thing we noticed was that all the dogs in the area were going bonkers. They were barking up a storm, like they were all seeing the same thing. The area we live in is pretty much a rural community, unless you live in the city of Monahans, TX many of the houses are set on large plots of land, usually 4-5 acres per house. Although we can see the houses of many of our neighbors and we do have traffic on the road, you do get the feeling of being all to yourself out here. Some of the land by our house is over run by wild mesquite tree’s. only a small portion of the land surrounding the house is cultivated and cleared out. Beyond the stand of trees runs a small barbed wire fence that separates us from our neighbors, who I could see were home from the lights on in the house. We walked around the edge of the trees, not wanting to really go into the stand at night. Even though its technically winter, there could be rattlesnakes seeking shelter in amongst the tree’s, not to mention that mesquite trees have some wicked thorns that protrude from them, they are razor sharp and quite capable of punching through a pair of jeans or boots and they hurt like hell to get out.
As we looked around, we started noticing a sort of electrical charge to the very air around us. Almost like the kind you feel when you approach a large electrical substation or a charged and active radio antenna. As we made our way around the trees, one of my brothers noticed some light peeking through the trees, I told him it was probably one of the neighbors leaving or coming home. He promptly told me that it couldn’t be head lights because the light seemed too defused and not as concentrated as a car’s headlight. We moved around and as we cleared the stand of trees, we were shocked to see an oval shaped object hovering, maybe 4-5 feet off the ground. We stood there in total shock, and awe. I can only imagine that our jaws were probably on the ground. As we stood there watching this object hover there without a sound, I took note that the object was maybe about 30-40 feet from front to back, it was maybe the same dimensions around. The object seemed to be of a highly polished material that reflected the area around it. The reflection of the distant street lights from the surrounding neighbors properties seemed to reflect off the surface of the object. There was also a small dull glow to the object, barely noticeable unless you were really looking, almost like an aura of sorts, a iridescent blue of sorts.As we stood there in total shock, My brother next to me expressing his disbelief, we saw two strange looking “Men” appear from around the object. They at first didn’t notice us, they were busy running around and gathering objects from the ground, from the trees. They didn’t seem to notice us at first. They looked to be about the size of my oldest nephew, about 4 feet tall, but they looked very skinny, like they had no meat on their bones. Their heads were large and their arms were long, skinny and hung down around their knee’s. About this time my two nephews came walking up behind us (scaring the hell out of us). They saw the object and the strange “men” and in a voice that only a kid can project, screamed out loud “WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS!”. That’s when the creatures turned and noticed us.
The sight of these creatures was something that will haunt me till the day I die. It turned and looked right at us. It’s eyes were large, almost like the eyes of a praying mantis, except they were jet back and wrapped around its head. the two creatures looked at us for about 7 seconds, not an ounce of movement, before they calmly walked around the craft, one right after the other. they disappeared behind the craft and we never saw them again. A few seconds later the craft lifts up, not a sound coming from the object, no rush of wind, not even a swaying of the nearby branches of a mesquite tree. It rose quietly and hovered about 40 feet from the ground, and shot out like a bat out of hell. As it zoomed away, it started glowing and made it easier to track as it zoomed away getting higher and higher till it faded away. We stood there in complete silence as we tried to make heads or tails of what the hell we just saw. My brother finally piped up and said “Should we call the police?” After which, I burst out in laughter and replied to him ” And tell them what?” My nephew looked like he had just seen the devil himself, which considering what we just saw I don’t blame him. He didn’t want to talk about it, and after we made our way back to the house, he still didn’t talk about. I tried to ask him about it yesterday and he basically told me that he didn’t want to think about it yet, he was still processing what had happened to him. I was more than happy to leave it at that. I never really believed in the subject of UFO’s or Alien’s, but after the events of this night, I’m seriously going to re-evaluate that belief. I know that I plan to keep my mind open, and start looking up towards the sky a little bit more from now on.

Voici une compilation de mes propres vidéos que j'ai réalisée sur helioviewer.org ces dernières années. Ici, j'ai regroupé volontairement les phénomènes solaires les plus divers et les plus spectaculaires du cycle 24, entre 2011 et 2014 particulièrement.
On peut y voir des éruptions suivies de boucles magnétiques, des éruptions de protubérance et de filament, des tempêtes, des vortex, des raz-de-marée, des tornades, des pluies et même une vague déferlante.
Toutes ces images du Soleil ont été prises depuis le satellite SDO de la NASA, satellite mis en service en 2010.

The Cupola, an observatory module of the International Space Station (ISS), captured stunning time-lapse footage from space of the polar 'Aurora' lights above Earth from 7 to 12 September.
One of the first recorded examples of a UFO actually came from Rome, although most people tend to think of them as a modern phenomena. In 218 B.C., a written account reports that a fleet of gleaming ships appeared to be floating in the sky of Rome. That wasn’t the only one, either—in A.D. 150 a report from an area right outside of Rome described “a beast like a piece of pottery about one hundred feet in size, multicolored on top and shooting out fiery rays, landed in a dust cloud.”
The Roman author Julius Obsequens, believed to have lived in the fourth century A.D., drew on Livy as well as other sources of his time to compile his book Prodigorium liber, which describes many peculiar phenomena, some of which could be interpreted as UFO sightings. Here are just a few examples:
216 B.C. Things like ships were seen in the sky over Italy… At Arpi (180 Roman miles, east of Rome, in Apulia) a round shield was seen in the sky. At Capua, the sky was all on fire, and one saw figures like ships…
99 B.C. When C. Murius and L. Valerius were consuls, in Tarquinia, there fell in different places… a thing like a flaming torch, and it came suddenly from the sky. Towards sunset, a round object like a globe, or round or circular shield took its path in the sky, from west to east.
90 B.C. In the territory of Spoletium (65 Roman miles north of Rome, in Umbria) a globe of fire, of golden colour, fell to the earth, gyrating. It then seemed to increase in size, rose from the earth, and ascended into the sky, where it obscured the disc of the sun, with its brilliance. It revolved towards the eastern quadrant of the sky. [Harold T. Wilkins, Flying Saucers on the Attack, pp.164-69]
A later chronicler of inexplicable phenomena, one Conrad Wolffhart (a professor of grammar and dialectics who under the pen name of Lycosthenes wrote the compendium Prodigiorum ac Ostentorum Chronicon, published in 1567), mentions the following events:
393 A.D. Strange lights were seen in the sky in the days of the Emperor Theodosius. On a sudden, a bright globe appeared at midnight. It shone brilliantly near the day star (planet, Venus), about the circle of the Zodiac. This globe shone little less brilliantly than the planet, and little by little, a great number of other glowing orbs drew near the first globe. The spectacle was like a swarm of bees flying around the bee-keeper, and the light of these orbs was as if they were dashing violently against each other. Soon, they blended together into one awful flame, and bodied forth to the eye as a horrible two-edged sword. The strange globe which was first seen now appeared like the pommel to a handle, and all the little orbs, fused with the first, shone as brilliantly as the first globe.

UFO ‘FLEET’ SEEN ON NASA SPACE STATION VIDEO — RESEARCHER ASKS, ‘ALIENS OR SECRET GOVERNMENT TESTS?’
What appears to be a UFO “fleet” appears in NASA video taken from the International Space Station robotic camera, as discovered by a prominent YouTube online UFO archivist and researcher. The find, if indeed it is a find, is just the latest in a long series of UFO appearances on the NASA ISS video feed.
Just last week, a YouTube user in Australia found apparent evidence of a UFO “miles in diameter” hovering near the space station. The user, who posted the video under his screen name of “blubeard2011,” said that he had been combing the NASA ISS feed for two years hoping to find some evidence of a UFO observing the space station that orbits about 250 miles above the surface of the Earth.
That sighting came about three weeks after another UFO hunter examining the NASA feed found what was described as a cigar-shaped UFO flying past the space station at “warp speed.”
The new sighting was recorded by the prolific online UFO researcher who goes by the name Streetcap1. The video is viewable above. It was publicized by Scott C. Waring, another top online UFO researcher, on his blogUFO Sightings Daily.
“These UFOs visited the space station this week and were found by Streetcap1 of Youtube. Only one of the UFOs was clear enough to get a nice close up of it, but that’s all I needed to tell if it was a reflection or a solid object,” wrote Waring.
“The UFO on the far left is 100% solid. The others are probably the same. I notice that the one on the left fades out, while the one on the far right fades in. Streetcap1 is right, its possible these ships are some covert project, like the old Aurora project, but still unidentified.”
If the UFOs are not clearly visible on the video, Waring isolated a screen capture of two of the UFOs hovering around the space station.
And then Waring zoomed in on one of the objects.
The Aurora project mentioned by Waring was alleged to be a secret testing program for a new, supersonic stealth surveillance aircraft. In December of last year, as the Inquisitr reported at the time, a series of ear-shattering and unexplained sonic booms over Britain were linked to the Aurora project.
Whether the UFO “fleet” captured in the NASA video is part of a similar program, albeit one based in space, remains to be seen. Of course, as some scientists have claimed about the repeated UFO sightings near the space station, the sightings could simply be the result of glitches in the video system.

Maury Island est une îles située dans le Puget Sound non loin de la ville de Seattle dans l'état de Washington au nord-ouest des états-Unis.
C'est là qu'un après midi de juin 1947 débute se qui seras désormais connu sous le nom de :
L'incident de l'île de Maury
Le samedi 21 juin 1947 à 14:00 , une vedette garde-côte américaine, commandée par Harold Dahl, dans laquelle se trouvent également son fils (15 ans), son chien, ainsi qu'un autre membre d'équipage, patrouille au niveau de Puget Sound. Le jour est morne et sombre, avec des nuages bas.
Le bateau fait escale dans une baie de l'île Maury (Maury island), à environ 5 km de Tacoma. Les gens à bord de la vedette voient alors 6 machines très grosses, en forme de beignets juste au-dessus de leurs têtes, à environ 600 m de hauteur. Aucun de ces engins n'émet de bruit. 5 des ovnis commencent à tourner autour du 6ème, lequel perd de l'altitude jusqu'à ce qu'il s'arrête, en vol stationnaire, à environ 150m (250 m ?) au-dessus du niveau de l'eau. Dahl évalue son diamètre 30 m, et la largeur du trou en son milieu (comme à Phoenix) à 8 m. Sur son bord extérieur, métallique et brillant, se trouvent des hublots de 2 m ; la circonférence interne est trouée de sombres fenêtres circulaires. De crainte que cet engin ne tombe dans la mer, Dhal range le bateau sur la plage. C'est là qu'il prend 4 photographies des objets. L'ovni central vomit alors des fragments de métal en fusion qui tombent dans l'eau et sur le rivage. L'un d'eux tue le chien, un autre brùle grièvement le fils de Dahl, et une mouette est également tuée. Le bateau est endommagé. Puis l'ovni s'élève, rejoint les autres, et tous les 6 partent à toute vitesse au-dessus du Pacifique. Les hommes recueillent des échantillons de métal encore chaud. De retour au port, Dahl rapporte les événements à son officier supérieur, Fred Crisman. Le lendemain matin, un homme vêtu de noir arrive chez Dahl dans une Buick noire et l'invite à déjeuner. Durant le repas, il signifie à Dahl qu'il est au courant de tout ce qui s'est passé à Maury et lui dit : Le silence est la meilleure chose pour vous et votre famille. Vous avez vu ce que vous n'auriez jamais du voir. Dahl établit plus tard que personne n'a parlé à qui que ce soit de leur étrange expérience. Le lundi Fred Crisman se rend à Maury afin de voir par lui-même les débris métalliques. Tandis qu'il est là -bas, un disque volant en forme de beignet apparaît, survole la baie puis disparaît dans Une nuée d'orage. Il développe ensuite les photographies : elles sont couvertes de tâches blanches, comme si elles avaient été exposées à quelques radiations...
Fred Crisman signale en suite l'affaire ...
Crisman signale l'affaire au journaliste Ray Palmer, qui demande à Kenneth Arnold d'enquêter. Il lui donne pour cela 200 $, une somme si énorme que lorsque Arnold s'en vente aux bureaux de l'Idaho Daily Statesman, l'éditeur envoie un télégramme au Service de Renseignement de l'USAF pour signaler l'événement. Le lundi 30 juin, Arnold se rend à Tacoma et parle avec Fred Crisman. Le lendemain, il voit les fragments comparés à des scories, mâchefer, mais pas les négatifs des photos égarées. Il appelle le lieutenant Frank Brown, un officier de renseignements de la base de l'USAF de Hamilton (Californie), pour lui demander de se joindre à l'enquête. Brown est un certain capitaine William L. Davidson, tous 2 du département G-2, prennent la route dans l'heure même, à bord d'un bombardier B-25. Ils s'entretiennent l'après-midi avec Crisman dans la chambre d'hôtel d'Arnold. Brown dit qu'il doit retourner en Californie dans la nuit et ne peut donc visiter l'île. Mais il remplit un large carton de plusieurs kg de fragments métalliques avant de partir, de Tacoma dans le B-25 pour San Francisco.
Le mercredi 2 juillet, tôt le matin, Crisman est au téléphone avec Arnold. Le B-25 où se trouvaientBrown et Davidson s'est écrasé près de Kelso. Tous 2 sont morts.
Le samedi 5, Arnold est présenté au capitaine Emil J. Smith, qui vient de faire une observation avec son co-pilote la veille. Ils s'entendent bien et deviennent bons amis. Arnold demande àSmith de l'aider dans son enquête sur l'Ile Maury. Ce dernier se déclare heureux d'apporter son aide, et Arnold se rend à Seattle pour l'emmener à Tacoma. Arnold organise une expédition à l'île Maury en compagnie de Crisman et Dahl, mais il s'avère que le moteur de leur bateau rend l'âme.
Le FBI démarre immédiatement une enquête...
Le FBI qui a immédiatement démarré une enquête suite au crash, entend Dahl et Crisman confesser qu'ils ont fabriqué cette histoire de soucoupe volante. Les "débris" auraient consisté en des morceaux de ferraille et de pierre ponce récupéré sur la plage de l'île Maury. L'US Army et les survivants confirment que le crash du B-25 a été causé par un feu de moteur.
L'explication officielle est un canular monté par les gardes-côtes pour se faire de la publicité.
Cependant, certains faits planant sur cette affaire, peuvent laisser penser que "L'incident de l'ile Maury" soit moins un canular que se que le FBI ait bien voulus le laisser entendre...
Les faits troublants ,curieux...
-...Arnold organise une expédition à l'île Maury en compagnie de Crisman et Dahl, mais il s'avère que le moteur de leur bateau rend l'âme. ...
-...Mais il remplit un large carton de plusieurs kg de fragments métalliques avant de partir, de Tacoma dans le B-25 pour San Francisco...suite au crash les fragments ne sont pas retrouvés. Le Tacoma Times qui relate l'incident indique que l'avion a pu être saboté ou abattu. D'après le rapport établi le 4 aoùt , l'un des moteurs de l'avion a mystérieusement pris feu 20 mn après l'envol...
-Suite a la panne moteur du bateau,Crisman promet de rappeler Arnold dès que le problème serait résolu. Il ne le fera jamais. Et ne rendra pas non plus les photographies. Il est devenu introuvable,d'après Dahl, il a quitté la ville pour affaires; d'après d'autres sources, il a été vu pour la dernière fois montant à bord d'un avion militaire en partance pour l'Alaska. Puis le fils de Dahldisparaît à son tour...
-Il semble que quelqu'un ait truffé de micros la chambre d'hôtel d'Arnold, transmettant aux journaux locaux les détails de ses conversations, même celles qu'il eut seul avec Brown et Davidson.
- Arnold contacte un autre officier de renseignements de la base USAF de McCord, le major Sanders. Ce dernier l'emmène chez un fondeur de Tacoma (probablement Asarco & Ruton) et lui montre des scories comme les morceaux de Dahl et Crisman.Arnold ne les considère pas identiques. Lorsqu'Arnold souhaite en prendre un échantillon, Sanders le dissuade. Sandersdemande tous les morceaux à Arnold et Smith . Après qu'il les ait mis à l'arrière de sa voiture, ils ne les renverrons plus jamais...

Vancouver, BC– An exclusive new video published to YouTube on September 17, 2015, catches up with night vision videographer Tom Sanger to discuss his evidence of a UFO over the Santa Catalina Mountains near Tucson recorded on Independence Day. Fireworks weren’t the only bright objects in Arizona skies that July 4, 2015, evening as the seasoned experiencer and his sky watch colleague teamed up to capture one of this summer’s most talked-about close encounters. While MUFON has declared the matter “case closed” a few questions remained concerning optics that even the so-called professionals of UFOlogy may be loath to consider.
Citing communications masts visible on Mt. Bigelow, Open Minds stated on July 22, 2015, that “out of focus lights can be seen on the far right of the screen” at the beginning of the video. This defocused status contrasts with a pin-sharp in-focus recording of the UFO, indicating how the mystery object and communications masts resided on two entirely different focal planes that evening.
During his NewsInsideOut.com interview, Tom Sanger emphasized that while recording fireworks that evening he had manually set focus at that time for nearby, not distant objects, recanting earlier remarks to Open Minds in which he described an object at 30 miles distance.
Huffington Post’s follow-up from earlier this month offered the report of Phoenix MUFON’s director of investigations whose on-site post-event survey determined that human activity (described by HuffPo as headlights from automobiles) near the summit of Mt. Bigelow was the cause behind the sighting. A gated roadway leading to a platform does exist at relative line-of-sight to the camera’s perspective, but according to the witness, this is no superhighway trafficked by a lineup of hundreds of vehicles passing through the trees over the 8 plus minutes accounted for in the video.
The strong possibility exists, supported by optical evidence, that the UFO was in fact located over Sanbino Canyon between the mountain and the observer. During his NewsInsideOut.com interview Tom Sanger described how the masts and peak of Mt. Bigelow both resolve along the same focal plane when imaged during daylight with the Luna Optics camera.
That the UFO resided upon a separate focal plane at variance with the distance to out-of-focus communications masts shown in the early frames of the video is abundantly clear to all parties concerned. In this reporter’s considered opinion, the evidence shows that the UFO was not on the mountain. It was recorded hovering in the foreground.
Digital magnification of the Tom Sanger UFO reveals possible structural details including three individual light sources separated by discrete gaps along the observer-facing portion of the object’s airframe.
The relationship between exceptionally bright bursts of light shown in the video and the operations of hand-held illuminators is further explored during the NewsInsideOut.com interview. The impact of a one Watt laser recorded at 13 miles distance on a 0 Lux broadcast camera’s sensor array is compared to overexposure suffered by the 0.03 Lux Luna Optics LN-DM50-HRSD when capturing fireworks. Lights from the UFO neither display streaming trails from sweeping hand-held light beams nor do they at any time overexpose on the sensor.
Archival footage from Mt. Adams in Washington provides a baseline for evaluating such claims, suggesting how the 300-times-more-sensitive Luna Optics camera would have struggled to display anything other than a whited-out image frame under similar conditions near Mt. Bigelow. The Tom Sanger video shows no evidence of the visual jitter associated with hand-held lights and their operations. It is as if the UFO lights were performing with machine-like precision at a separate focal plane from the summit.
Was it hundreds of dancers wearing headlamps rotating in a circle on the Mt. Bigelow platform? The focal plane evidence again denies such suggestions. What really happened is that members of the public equipped with affordable night vision optics exceeded the data collection performance of so-called UFOlogy experts who proceeded to attempt to bury the story under a mountain of spurious claims and paperwork.
Their loud and widespread protestations betray serious absence of real-time instrumental field operational experience and post-event critical analytic skills. The Tom Sanger video and its public consequences offer a revelation concerning how persons seeking answers to UFO contact mysteries are today empowered in pioneering independent avenues of research at these awe-inspiring frontiers of twenty-first century knowledge.

Les deux OVNIs filmés le 5 septembre à Los Angeles
Des dizaines de témoins, des vidéos, des photos... L'observation de deux OVNIs début septembre à Los Angeles a tout pour plaire aux spécialistes. De fait, il ne s'agit pas d'un canular mais, si la vérité est ailleurs, elle ne vient pas forcément de très loin.
Que faut-il pour réussir une bonne observation d’OVNIs ? La recette est assez simple: plusieurs témoins fiables, de préférence non anonymes, des informations précises sur la date, l’heure et le lieu de l’apparition de l’objet volant, et, cerise sur la gâteau, des photographies et des vidéos. Si ces images proviennent en plus de sources différentes, alors le Nirvana ufologique n’est pas loin. Il semble bien que toutes ces conditions étaient réunies dans la soirée du 5 septembre à Los Angeles.
Comme chaque soir, l’observatoire de Griffith, situé sur les hauteurs de Los Angeles, accueillait de nombreux promeneurs venus profiter de la vue imprenable sur la Cité des Anges. Parmi eux, Chris Montague, auteur de la première vidéo mise en ligne de deux lumières qu’il décrit ainsi sur sa page YouTube: «Depuis l’observatoire de Griffith, nous avons vu ce qui ressemblait à un météore ou à un avion en flammes qui se rapprochait du sol. Mais soudain la boule de feu s’est arrêtée dans et a commencé à se déplacer lentement. Puis, la lumière s’est éteinte. Huit secondes plus tard, elle est réapparue à quelques dizaines de mètres au dessus de son emplacement initial. Quelques instants plus tard, une seconde lumière est apparue et les deux boules lumineuses se sont assemblées au milieu du ciel avant de disparaître.»
La scène a aussi été filmée depuis d’autres parties de la ville: au moins deux autres vidéos ont été partagées sur YouTube par des personnes différentes.
D’autres témoins confirment dans les commentaires des images avoir eux-aussi assisté à la scène: «Ma mère et moi étions sur le chemin de retour quand nous avons vu ces lumières. On a eu la peur de notre vie. Après, j’ai passé deux jours sur Internet a essayer de comprendre ce que nous avions vu. C’est TELLEMENT fou! » écrit Eric Del’Accort. En commentaire d’un article du Huffington Post qui rend compte de l’observation, une lectrice Erika Heidewald, ajoute: «J’ai vu moi aussi ces lumières ! C’était très bizarre et j’ai pris quelques photos. J’ai cru que c’était une grosse lanterne chinoise.»
Avec tant de témoins différents et d’enregistrements vidéos, la piste du canular semble exclue. De même le comportement de ces lumières, extrêmement brillantes malgré la faible qualité des vidéos, ne correspond pas à celui de lanternes chinoises, qui portées par le vent, ne changent pas de trajectoire et ne s’immobilisent pas avant de fusionner. Pour les mêmes raisons, l’hypothèse de flares, des leurres thermiques lâchés par des avions militaires, ne tient pas. D’autant que l’US Air Force évite en général de procéder à ce genre de largage potentiellement risqué dans des zones urbaines surpeuplées.
Mais les nombreux éléments dont on dispose permettent d’ouvrir le champ des explications. Parmi ces données capitales, figurent la date et l’heure exacte de l’observation : le 5 septembre aux environs de 19h45. Or, à cette heure précise débutait le premier match de la saison de football américain au Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Pour l’occasion, des parachutistes de la NAVY S.E.A.L ont été largués au-dessus du terrain. Plusieurs spectateurs ont filmé le spectacle et les images se retrouvent aisément sur YouTube.
On remarque que les parachutistes sont équipés d’un grand drapeau américain et, surtout, d’un dispositif qui émet de spectaculaires gerbes d’étincelles… «coïncidence» supplémentaire leur ballet aérien rappelle étrangement celui des deux sphères lumineuses…
Le doute n’est plus permis : les deux OVNIS sont en réalité les parachutistes de la NAVY S.E.A.L. en démonstration. Conclusion un chouïa décevante mais néanmoins riche d’enseignement. I wish to tell you of a sighting experienced by my friend and I. We were on a golf course at about 2:00 a.m.; fooling around, shooting guns and lighting up a few smokes. I then heard a distinct “CRACK” like the shot of a .22 except much louder and in the atmosphere. Then we heard a fizzzzz and then a noise occurred that I couldn’t explain sort of a boom wee woo, boom wee woo, boom wee woo, and so on. Then we saw a triangular object with four lights; 3 red, and one purplish. No computer color can duplicate it. We could tell it was a triangle because a whole bunch of very small lights appeared on the object. It was about the size of a large school bus.
Then my friend panicked, and shot at it. He missed it by far, but the lights on this ship turned into a red hue I can’t describe. I quickly reminded my friend that this could be a UFO or military craft that would probably react hostilely to gun fire. The outside red lights began to move slowly toward the middle light. Me and my friend began to realize that this might be a weapon of some kind so we ran for our lives. I never let my eyes off it as I ran down the road outside the golf course. Then it began to become transparent and just disappeared. Entire sighting lasted approximately 15 minutes.
