Natasha Boden, een 26-jarige vrouw uit het Engelse Blackpool, had haar haar blond geverfd en nam een selfie om het resultaat te bewonderen.
Ze schrok zich echter een hoedje toen bleek dat ze niet alleen op de foto stond. Net zoals ze weken eerder schrok toen een doodgraver een niet bestaand lijk bij haar wilde ophalen.
Nadat Natasha het vreemde figuur ontdekte achter haar op de selfie, bedacht ze zich geen moment en ontvluchtte de flat waarin ze woonde in het Engelse Blackpool.
De 26-jarige moeder van een eenjarig kind nam een foto van zichzelf nadat ze haar haar had blond geverfd. Toen ze echter het beeld bekeek, zag ze een spookachtig gezicht achter zichzelf.
Ze was al een beetje nerveus want zes weken daarvoor had er zich een vreemd voorval voorgedaan. Er werd door een begrafenisondernemer aangeklopt met de mededeling dat hij het lijk kwam halen. Echter, er was helemaal geen lijk.
Na het spookachtig gebeuren met de selfie besloot Natasha geen minuut langer in het huis te blijven en ging naar een plaatselijk hotel om daar een kamer te huren.
Ze heeft inmiddels de huur van de flat opgezegd en is samen met haar partner Mark Donohue op zoek naar iets nieuws omdat het volgens Natasha spookt in de flat en ze weigert om daar terug te keren.
Natasha zei verder, “Ik heb nooit in geesten of iets dergelijks geloofd. Als iemand anders die foto had genomen zou ik gezegd hebben dat het totale onzin was, maar het gezicht is zo duidelijk”.
“Ik was doodsbang. Ik was alleen thuis en ik wist dat ik onmiddellijk moest maken dat ik weg kwam. Ik had daar echt met geen mogelijkheid nog een nacht kunnen slapen”.
Ufoloog Scott Waring is helemaal opgewonden na het zien van deze foto. Niet vanwege Natasha die erop staat, maar omdat hij ervan overtuigd is dat het gezicht op de foto die is van een kleine Gray alien.
Deze zijn ongeveer een meter twintig hoog en volgens Scott is het duidelijk dat deze alien de vrouw observeert. Hij baseert zijn idee op dat er geen haar is te zien en dat het wezen een soort groenige glanzende huid heeft.
Hij zegt dat als je goed kijkt naar de ogen van het wezen je duidelijk kunt zien dat deze naar de vrouw kijkt.
Voor Natasha is het een spook en voor Scott is het een alien. Het is hoe dan ook iets dat normaal gesproken niet zomaar op een foto verschijnt.

Date of sighting: November 6, 2015 at 5:00-5:15pm Location of sighting: Xinzhuang Dist, New Taipei City, Taiwan I was watching some passenger jets fly from right to left and another from left to right, coming and going from China to our Taipei airport about 20 min away. Thats when I noticed this orb. It was on the far left, so I pushed the window wider open and hung out a 5th floor window from the waist up to get this recording.
It was about half as thick as the body of the passenger jets, but the color was the same...white. As I got my iphone 6s ready (4k video), I saw it moving to the right slowly. When I lifted the camera, the UFO stopped. I tried my best to hold the camera still out the window, so I apologize for the shaking, but it was do to the full zoom on the camera and me being excited. I tried to steady my hand against the side of the window as I held it up.
I was late for teaching a class by about 4-5 minutes, but I had my wife check the window 15 min later and take a small 1 min video of the object. She checked a third time and the object was gone 20 minutes later. She couldn't stay to watch because she teaches a homework class. According to these authors, the underground temple consists of over 3000 rooms which are filled with incredible hieroglyphs and paintings, the enigmatic underground complex is located less than 100 kilometers from Cairo at Hawara. There, in 2008 a group of researchers from Belgium and Egypt arrived to investigate the enigmatic underground complex, with the aid of ground penetrating technology which was used to study the sand in hopes of finding and solving the mystery behind the enigmatic underground complex. Even though researchers have confirmed the existence of the underground complex, mayor excavations need to take place in the future in order to explore the incredible finding. A bizarre space anomaly detected by the Kepler Spacecraft has caught the attention of SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). The institute recently pointed the Allen Telescope Array system 300 miles northeast of San Francisco at the star, KIC 8462852, to test the hypothesis that the anomaly may be a signature of an extraterrestrial civilization.
“If this pans out it could be the biggest story since the invention of the wheel or the discovery of fire—it’s on that scale,” said Dr. Michio Kaku in a phone interview with the Observer. Dr. Kaku is a professor of physics at City College of New York (CUNY), where he holds the Henry Semat Chair and Professorship in theoretical physics. One of the most renowned figures in science today, Dr. Kaku co-founded the String Field Theory, has authored several New York Times best-selling books, and continues Albert Einstein’s pursuit in formulating a theory on everything.

“Or it could be the biggest dud since the Loch Ness monster, and anything in between. Carl Sagan once said, ‘Remarkable claims require remarkable proof.’ So if it is a sign of an extraterrestrial, we have to be able to identify what this object is. One candidate is its evidence of a type-2 civilization. We’re a type zero; we get our energy from dead plants, oil and coal. Type 1 is planetary; they can control the weather, they can control the entire planet. Type 2 is stellar, they control stars like in Star Trek. Type 3 is galactic like in Star Wars. The energy necessary to drop starlight by 22 percent would qualify this as a type 2 civilization—that is, they can play with stars—however it’s a guess as we simply don’t know if it’s truly a signature of an extraterrestrial civilization or if it’s a wild goose chase. We don’t know.”
The possibility that it could be a signature of another civilization has sparked further debate on the validity of the Fermi Paradox. The Fermi Paradox attempts to explain why we are seemingly alone in the universe. Physicist Enrico Fermi believed that if alien societies exist, one of them would have easily colonized galaxies in the span of a few million years. The time scales for colonizing galaxies is miniscule compared to the age of the universe, so if any existed we would have seen some signs of them.
“Some people say if there are intelligent lifeforms out there, and I think there are, How come they don’t visit us? Why don’t they land on the White House lawn, announce their presence and give us their technology? Well, if you’re walking down a country road and you see an anthill, do you go down to the ants and say I bring you gifts, I bring you trinkets, bead, I bring you nuclear energy, take me to your ant queen? Or do we have this strange urge to step on a few of them? If aliens are so that advanced that they can land on the White House lawn, then we are like ants to them, we have nothing to offer them, so the reason that they don’t announce their existence to us is that we’re boring, they’ve seen it all. We have nothing to offer a civilization that advanced and that’s why I think they don’t visit us. We are arrogant to think that we are so interesting, extraterrestrial beings would travel thousands of light years just to visit us. So that’s why they don’t visit us, we’re just not that interesting.”
In a press conference on Thursday, the space agency confirmed that solar wind played a major role in the disappearance of the red planet's atmosphere and water.
The discovery, which was published in the journals Science and Geophysical Research Letters, sheds new light on how the planet evolved from having an early, warm and wet environment that might have hosted life to becoming the cold, arid world we see today. Solar winds may have not had the same effect on Earth, because of our planet's strong magnetic fields.
"If you look at Mars today, it's a cold, dry desert planet," Michael Meyer, lead scientist for the Mars Exploration Program at NASA Headquarters, said during the conference. "What happened?... The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind."

British astrophysicist thinks that advanced technological extraterrestrial civilizations might have turned into machines or… Cyber-aliens
According to renowned British astrophysicist Sir Martin Rees, scientists that are searching the cosmos for alien life should not only focus on finding organic life, but they should also look for possible signs generated by machines since it is very likely that there are extremely advanced alien civilizations that could have developed to the point and become living machines, or better said something like the ‘Borg’.
According to Nautil.us it is likely that extraterrestrial machines have evolved from being simple organic life forms and in the future, at the rate at which humans are developing, we could see a similar transition. According to the British Astrophysicist, on a planet orbiting a distant star much older than our sun, somewhere in the cosmos, live could have developed to the stage where organic life forms are now part organic part machine.
Interestingly, according to Rees’ calculations, in approximately one or two century’s life as we know it could become overwhelmed by Artificial Intelligence which will start to evolve on its own taking over the planet becoming the predominant species on Earth. But Rees isn’t the only one who warns us about potential AI threats. Elon Musk and Professor Stephen Hawking have done the same. This means that if we ever discover advanced alien beings in the cosmos, it is very likely that these civilizations are not organic but mechanical civilizations. Talking about SETI, the project in charge of seeking extraterrestrial life, Sir Martin Rees believes that although we might actually capture an ‘Alien’ transmission it would be nearly impossible for us to decode it because the message could have originated from an extremely complex machine which goes far beyond our understanding. These machines could have been in the distant past actual flesh and blood aliens who developed in time and are extinct.
The scientist also noted that, even if advanced intelligence spread throughout the cosmos, we would only be able to recognize only a tiny fraction of it.
“Even if intelligence were widespread in the cosmos, we may only ever recognize a small and atypical fraction of it. Some “brains” may package reality in a fashion that we can’t conceive. Others could be living contemplative lives, perhaps deep under some planetary ocean, doing nothing to reveal their presence. It makes sense to focus searches first on Earth-like planets orbiting long-lived stars.” States Rees.
Moreover, instead of sticking to the mainstream concept of ‘Civilization’ advanced alien beings could advance to the point of becoming a unified intelligence.
An 'impossible' fuel-free engine, which could take a humans to Mars in just 10 weeks, is still defying science after another batch of tests by Nasa suggested the thruster does work.
The so-called EM Drive creates thrust by bouncing microwaves around in an enclosed chamber, and uses only solar power.
When the concept was first proposed, it was considered implausible because it went against the laws of physics - and subsequent tests of the engine have shown that the idea could revolutionise space travel.
Now Nasa has provided the first update on the test in months, and it seems to suggest that the futuristic engine does, in fact, work.

WHAT IS AN EM DRIVE?
The concept of an EM Drive engine is relatively simple.
It provides thrust to a spacecraft by bouncing microwaves around in a closed container.
Solar energy provides the electricity to power the microwaves, which means that no propellant is needed.
The implications for this could be huge. For instance, current satellites could be half the size they are today without the need to carry fuel.
Humans could also travel further into space, generating their own propulsion on the way.
But when the concept was first proposed it was considered implausible because it went against the laws of physics.
Its allegedly fuel-free nature also means that the drive may directly contradict the law of conservation of momentum.
It suggests it would produce a forward-facing force without an equal and opposite force acting in the other direction.
Scientists, however, still don't know why.
The update was given by Paul March, one of the top engineers working the EM Drive thruster at the Eagleworks Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center in Texas.
He said Nasa has managed to remove some of the errors from earlier tests - but still found signals of unexplained thrust.
Among the criticisms of previous experiments were that the tests were not carried out in a vacuum, thereby mirroring the conditions in space.
But the latest Nasa test appears to have addressed these concerns.
March's announcement is the first direct announcement in months, with the space agency largely remaining silent about any developments on the controversial project.
March posted on the Nasa Spaceflight forum in reply to an unpublished paper that claims the unaccounted thrust is generated by something known as the Lorentz force.
The Lorentz force is the force that is exerted by a magnetic field on a moving electric charge.
But March says his tests prove this is not true.
'I will tell you that we first built and installed a second generation, closed face magnetic damper that reduced the stray magnetic fields in the vacuum chamber by at least an order of magnitude and any Lorentz force interactions it could produce,' he said
'And yet the anomalous thrust signals remain.'
March also says that in the latest developments, thermal expansion of the thruster is taken into account to reduce all possible sources of error.
But the thrust can still be seen, and engineers still can't explain what's causing it.
If it becomes operatonal, the EM Drive propulsion system would permit travel at speeds until now only seen in science fiction and have other implications for space exploration.
The fact that it's a recurring phenomenon now makes the EM Drive appear less of a ridiculous concept and more of real solution to deep space travel.

WHAT IS THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM?
The basic laws that are applied in the theory of the EmDrive include Newton’s laws including the law of conservation of momentum and the law of conservation of energy.
At its most simple, the law of conservation of momentum can be explained by studying collisions.
During a collision between two objects - object 1 and object 2 - the forces acting on and between the two objects are equal, and opposite in direction.
These forces act for a set amount of time depending on the strength of the force and the shape and size of the objects, but regardless of how long this lasts, the time on each object is the same.
The EmDrive appears to violate this law because it seemingly produces a forward-facing force that powers it through space without an equal and opposite force acting in the other direction.
However, the electromagnetic wave momentum that is created in the resonating cavity travels to the end walls.
At this point, the momentum gained and the momentum lost by the electromagnetic wave is equal, which suggests it complies with the law.
Researchers say the new drive could carry passengers and their equipment to the moon in as little as four hours, or to Mars in 10 weeks.
A trip to Alpha Centauri, which would take tens of thousands of years to reach under current methods, could be reached in just 100 years. And as the thrusters are solar powered, propulsion would be generated along the way.
The system is based on electromagnetic drive, or EM Drive, which converts electrical energy into thrust without the need for rocket fuel.
While there has been some scepticism surrounding the EM Drive, in April Nasa released results of their own test which showed that the EM Drive did in fact create thrust.

Martin Tajmar, professor and chair for Space Systems at the Dresden University of Technology, presented a paper to the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics' Propulsion and Energy Forum in July.
Tajmar wrote: 'Additional tests need to be carried out to study the magnetic interaction of the power feeding lines used for the liquid metal contacts.'
'Nevertheless, we do observe thrusts close to the magnitude of the actual predictions after eliminating many possible error sources that should warrant further investigation into the phenomena.
'Next steps include better magnetic shielding, further vacuum tests and improved EM Drive models with higher Q factors and electronics that allow tuning for optimal operation.'

According to classical physics, the EM Drive should be impossible because it seems to violate the law of conservation of momentum.
The law states that the momentum of a system is constant if there are no external forces acting on the system – which is why propellant is required in traditional rockets.
Researchers from the US, UK and China have demonstrated EM Drives over the past few decades, but their results have been controversial as no one has been exactly sure how it works.
The concept of an EmDrive engine is relatively simple. It provides thrust to a spacecraft by bouncing microwaves around in a closed container. Solar energy provides the electricity to power the microwaves, which means that no propellant is needed

When London-based Roger Sawyer came up with concept in 2000, the only team that took him seriously was a group of Chinese scientists.
In 2009, the team allegedly produced 720 millinewton (or 72g) of thrust, enough to build a satellite thruster. But still, nobody believed they had achieved this.
Last year, Pennsylvania-based scientist Guido Fetta and his team at Nasa Eagleworks published a paper that demonstrates that a similar engine works on the same principles.
Nasa tests the engine for the biggest rocket in history
Their model, dubbed Cannae Drive, produces much less thrust at 30 to 50 micronewtons - less than a thousandth of the output of some relatively low-powered ion thrusters used today.
On the NasaSpaceFlight.com, those allegedly involved in the project claim that the reason previous EM Drive models were criticised were that none of the tests had been carried out in a vacuum.
Physics says particles in the quantum vacuum cannot be ionised, so therefore you cannot push against it. But Nasa's latest test claims to have shown otherwise.
'Nasa has successfully tested their EmDrive in a hard vacuum – the first time any organisation has reported such a successful test,' the researchers wrote.
'To this end, Nasa Eagleworks has now nullified the prevailing hypothesis that thrust measurements were due to thermal convection.'
However, Nasa's official site said earlier this year: 'There are many "absurd" theories that have become reality over the years of scientific research.
'But for the near future, warp drive remains a dream.
When I asked Ohio State University political science professor Alex Wendt what his students thought about his enthusiasm for UFOs, he told me reactions are mixed. His PhD students fear Wendt’s interest in gathering data on UFO sightings will undermine the credibility of their research. Other graduate students, he said, “hide their heads…they’re tolerant, but try to ignore it.” But his undergrads are more open. “Some are skeptical,” he told me. “But some are quite excited.”
This gives him hope that his new project, UFODATA, has a chance of drawing in the talent—or at least the cash—of young, curious, UFO agnostics. It’s going to need those things to survive.
UFODATA debuted online Oct. 14 of this year. One member of the team, journalist Leslie Kean, announced the still bare-bones effort in a Huffington Post blog post. She wrote:
The organization has one goal and one goal only: to design, build and deploy a global network of automated surveillance stations that will monitor the skies full time looking for UFOs. UFODATA has no interest in alleged government conspiracies or adding more witness reports or FOIA documents to the thousands already on file. The idea here is that only a complete change of methodology toward a purely scientific approach to the UFO issue will enable us to move forward.
When Kean talks about changing methodology, she means moving away from witness accounts of UFO sightings that are often dismissed out of hand. By using cameras and other instruments to snap photos, Wendt, Kean, and the rest of the UFODATA team (which includes, among others, scientists and engineers) hope to collect unsullied evidence of the unidentified objects. And, if they see something truly remarkable, present it as evidence of extraterrestrial life to mainstream scientists and to the public. The second goal is an old one, but the first marks a departure from traditional UFO data collecting organizations like the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
And, it should be noted, NASA is always looking for communication from alien life forms through its Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence (SETI) program. SETI, which was established in the 1960s, scans radio and TV waves for anomalies that could be messages from extraterrestrials. Youcan even install a SETI program on your home computer if you want to be a part of the search.
But there are certain outspoken, charming, and dedicated individuals who also take the recording of UFO sightings very seriously. If you ever think you see something, say something to them.
A UFO reporting home office
NUFORC, according to its website, was founded in 1974 by Ufologist Robert J. Gribble. Today, it is run by director Peter Davenport out of his home in Harrington, Wash. It’s a small operation: Davenport is the only current member of NUFORC, save for webmaster Christian Stepien.
When I called Peter Davenport, he was relieved it was me and not a prank caller. Still, he was wary. Davenport asked if I was recording our phone call (I was not) and then told me, politely, that recording phone calls without permission is illegal. He also told me, repeatedly, that the media has done a very bad job of reporting on UFOs. He said things like, “the average person walking on the city street knows more than the average journalist [about UFOs],” and “most journalists are totally oblivious to what’s going on vis a vis UFOs,” often. But he was also very patient, extremely open, and endearingly earnest. Whenever he was joking he would tell me, “I’m being facetious.” It’s hard not to like Peter Davenport.
Davenport said he first became intrigued by UFOs when he was six. “The reason you are talking to me today goes back to July of 1954. I witnessed a UFO together with my family and hundreds, perhaps thousands of other people.”
I looked out the right passenger’s window, and immediately witnessed a generally oval shape, EXTREMELY brightly luminous, red object hovering virtually motionless in the sky. I vaguely recall that the object may have been casting a faint red light over the theater and surrounding area. The object’s apparent size (from my vantage point) was approximately from 50% to 100% the diameter of the moon, and its long axis appeared to be horizontally oriented.
The object, Davenport wrote, hovered for a few moments before it flew away.
The experience stayed with him. “I have been intrigued by the UFO phenomenon ever since.” Davneport took over the independent operation from Gribble in July of 1990.He heard that Gribble, then head of NUFORC, was considering shutting down the hotline, and called him up to offer to help. Instead, Gribble offered him control of the center. “Before that telephone call was over he said, ‘Peter it’s, yours.’” Now Davenport mans the phone. According to the NUFORC site, calls are preferred between 8 a.m. and midnight, but it remains a 24-hour hotline.
When people call to report a UFO, Davenport mostly calms them down. Usually, he said, the report is “all jumbled up.” The caller “presents facts as they come to mind, it’s not a very well-ordered presentation of information…What we typically urge people to do is to immediately, as soon as they can, sit down at the computer and compose what is hopefully a literate, grammatically correct” report.
NUFORC has two goals, Davenport explained: The first, is to collect information. The second is to make it available to the public. He added that there are groups like NUFORC collecting data throughout the world, and that many of them share NUFORC’s goals. But not all of them collect what Davenport calls primary data, like NUFORC and MUFON.
The international juggernaut
MUFON, or the Mutual UFO Network, is what NUFORC would be if there were 3,000 Davenports. The group is headed by executive director Jan C. Harzan. This is a retirement gig for him; before MUFON, Harzan spent 37 years at IBM.
MUFON predates NUFORC by five years, and has now become a large organization with a rigid, bureaucratic infrastructure: There’s Harzan, an executive board, state directors, and national directors in about 40 countries. Altogether, there are about 3,000 members of MUFON around the world. Harzan told me his is the only UFO organization with a corporate office.
Fundamentally, MUFON operates in a manner very similar to NUFORC. Witnesses submit their account of what they saw through MUFON’s website. A member of the team evaluates the report and then selects it for one of three categories: Category one, a light in the sky; category two, a physical evidence of contact (for example, a broken tree limb or a magnetized object); and category three, an alien sighting. MUFON officers reach out to the witness for follow-up information, and sometimes send out a field investigator to check things out.
And like NUFORC, MUFON has clearly defined goals: to collect data and educate the public about UFOs, and to “to discover the true nature of the phenomenon, with an eye towards scientific breakthroughs, and improving life on our planet.”
Still, MUFON’s method leaves room for mistakes. The goal of UFODATA is to reduce the margin of error, by relying on 21st century methods to indulge an age-old curiosity.
The future of UFO data collection
“It was in 2010 or 2011 when I had the idea that what we really need [is a way] to systematically look for UFOs,” Wendt, the Ohio State professor, told me. “Most of the UFO literature is about personal encounters, anecdotes, stories, people [say] that they see UFOs in the sky and then write it down or report it… they’re not scientific evidence, they’re just stories,“ he said. “The skeptics can easily dismiss them.”
UFODATA does away with anecdote completely. “What we’re proposing,” he says, “is taking advantage of the much better technology we have today, and the internet, to build a network of surveillance.”
Each hypothetical station would include a camera surrounded by a number of sensitive instruments that would help detect unexpected phenomena—a magnetometer to search for changes in the magnetic field, a spectograph to look for trails of light, and so on. The station is still just an idea; the team is looking to raise at least $30,000 for a prototype. Per the UFODATA website:
All money raised in this stage will be used to buy the various station components (which we have already identified), construct the station, and begin to write the software to make it operational.
Once the prototype is set, the group plans to launch a formal crowdfunding campaign. But, Wendt said, a lack of funds isn’t UFODATA’s biggest problem, at least at this stage. “The key thing is trying to recruit volunteers with technical skills…especially what we need is programmers.”
Once the team is fully fleshed out, Wendt hopes to capture the attention of the general public. “Ideally an angel investor would come forward and give us the money,” he said, “but the real target is the mass public. Half of the American public thinks that UFOs are worth investigating. So that’s millions of people out there.” Just a small donation from a small portion of those interested in UFOs would be enough to make UFODATA real.
A community of believers
Davenport, Harzan, and Wendt had no qualms about identifying as believers in intelligent extraterrestrial (ET) life. Davenport told me that since he became the head of NUFORC, he is convinced not only that aliens are visiting Earth, but that they’re doing so on a regular basis. Harzan told me he saw a humming spacecraft as a child, one “that opened my eyes.” He added, “our belief is that these are advanced technology crafts that are visiting here.”
Wendt didn’t describe a witness experience, but said he was brought into a state of agnosticism after he saw a video of Harvard’s John Mack —aPulitzer-winner who researched those who claimed to have been abducted by aliens, and spoke widely about his findings—discussing alien visitations (perhaps similar to this one):
“I thought, this is crazy… [but] the more I thought about it the more I thought, I don’t know this is crazy,” Wendt says of watching Mack discuss his research into alien abductions. After that, Wendt started to think more about alien life as a possible truth. “That kind of got me hooked, not to believe in alien abductions, but it got me realizing that I was ignorant.” And though there might be other value in capturing images of UFOs, the search for aliens is UFODATA’s primary driver. “If we were convinced that UFOs were not ETs, we wouldn’t bother with the search.”
What Davenport, Harzan, and Wendt believe is not in line with the research of NASA scientists, who don’t necessarily not believe in aliens. Prominent NASA scientists predicted this year that we will find alien life within a decade or two. “I believe we are going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth in the next decade and definitive evidence in the next 10 to 20 years,” said chief NASA scientist Ellen Stofan in April. She added, “We know where to look, we know how to look, and in most cases we have the technology.” Her colleague Jeffery Newmark backed her up, saying, “It’s definitely not an if, it’s a when.”
The differences between believers like Davenport, Harzan, and Wendt, and mainstream scientists, then, are not worlds apart, but a few degrees. NASA scientists think we’ll be able to find life, but not intelligent life. In Stofan’s words, “we are talking about little microbes.”
And then there’s the question of where, and when, intelligent alien life would exist. If we assume that the laws of physics hold true throughout the universe, how can we explain a visitation from a galaxy tens of thousands of light years away?
I posed the question to Wendt. “That’s the strongest argument against the idea that UFOs are extraterrestrials. It’s a plausible argument I take very seriously.”
His answer, and that of most other UFO believers, is that we can’t know what kind of technology an advanced alien civilization has, especially if it’s been around for 1,000—or one million—years. After all, even our Earthly technological advances would likely have seemed impossible to early humans. “500 years ago the idea that people can fly through the sky would have been absurd… All of these technologies we’ve invented would seem like miracles.”
Kickstarting the search for aliens
It’s not hard to imagine UFODATA tapping into peoples’ curiosity, and their crowdfunding tendencies. If someone asking for $10 toward potato saladcan accidentally raise $55,000, a team asking for $200,000 to look for aliens should be able to reach the goal. If they don’t, and if a UFO-curious angel investor doesn’t come through (Wendt told me the group is talking to a couple) the project will probably be over.
The government, Wendt said, would never consider offering funding to an organization like UFODATA. “It wasn’t even worth filling out grant applications,” he said. “The taboo on UFOs, even talking about UFOs at the level of officialdom and authorities is so deep that we would have been laughed at.”
The question, then, is if this generation would be willing to bring to life a project like UFODATA. “I think younger people in general are more open to this,” says Wendt. “When the older generation, 30-somethings and up, when those people were growing up, Ufology was in a bad place. [It was] all about conspiracies, Roswell hiding bodies —[it] gave the whole field a bad rep.”

Shortly after having found the ‘God Particle’ a key to understanding the formation of the universe, scientists in charge of the Large Hadron Collider decided to double the bet and move further away from the limits of imagination: in the coming days the aim at launching a search for parallel universes. According to experts at the LHC, it’s possible that gravity from our own universe could literally ‘leak’ into a parallel universe.
We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.
“Normally, when people think of the multiverse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualized. This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science.”
In order to achieve a ‘connection’ to a parallel universe, researchers will try to produce black microholes, which, according to the revolutionary theory of the ‘gravity’s rainbow’, functions as a portal to other dimensions.
“This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions. As gravity can flow out of our universe into the extra dimensions, such a model can be tested by the detection of mini black holes at the LHC.
“We have calculated the energy at which we expect to detect these mini black holes in ‘gravity’s rainbow’ [a new scientific theory]. If we do detect mini black holes at this energy, then we will know that both gravity’s rainbow and extra dimensions are correct.”
The theory proposes that gravity matter varies its behavior in the different wavelengths of light, which, in turn, have different energy levels. This variation implies that there are other universes besides our own, living in parallel on multiple dimensions. To explain the complex concept, researcher Mir Faizal said: “Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two-dimensional objects [breadth and length] can exist in a third dimension [height], parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions.”
This is something straight out of a Hollywood movie… Does the movie ‘Avengers’ ring a bell? Well it this extraordinary test is successfully completed it could reveal a completely new universe, which in turn would rewrite not only everything we know about Physics today, but it would rewrite philosophy as well.
While some people believe this is next generation ‘Science’, there are those who believe that researchers at the LHC are playing with power they cannot control and that things could get out of hand really fast, meaning that the high energy collider could spell the end of the universe as we know it.

According to Dr. John Brandenburg’s theory, which he presented at this year’s Secret Space Conference, a primitive Martian civilization had been nuked by alien invaders.
Dr. Brandenburg is a plasma physicist working as a consultant at Morningstar Applied Physics LLC and as a part-time instructor of Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics at Madison College, and other learning institutions in Madison, Wisconsin. He has authored multiple books including Life and Death on Mars and Beyond Einstein’s Unified Field.
“Mars presents the human race with a Darwinian intelligence test, and so far, we are failing it,” said Dr. Brandenburg. “Scientists cannot connect the dots at Mars because the resulting picture is too terrifying to accept.”
CYDONIA MENSA AND GALAXIAS CHAOS
According to Dr. Brandenburg, the red color of Mars and the radioactive substances embedded in its soil are a corollary of a thermonuclear explosion. He states that high concentrations of Xenox-129 in Mars’s atmosphere, as well as uranium and thorium on the planet’s surface, are echoes of nuclear explosions launched by alien invaders.
The civilization did not self-implode with their own weaponry, according to Dr. Brandenburg. “The civilization was primitive; not advanced,” he said. Someone else came along with nuclear weapons about a quarter of a million years ago and dropped them on the surface of Mars, he explained.
Mars once had an atmosphere similar to Earth’s; a hypothesis that Dr. Brandenburg has long pushed and a fact that NASA is just now beginning to acknowledge. After reporting his findings to the Pentagon, they sat on the data for about six months before telling Dr. Brandenburg to go ahead and publish it.
Dr. Brandenburg claims there were two explosions on the planet’s surface, one at the Cydonia Mensa and another at Galaxias Chaos. He points to a number of artifacts on the surface of Mars, including carved faces, as evidence that the planet once harbored primitive civilizations.
NASA had once taken a photo of a face on the surface of Mars. The space agency released the image, but failed to enhance it in order to blur the face. It was originally the poorest picture taken on Mars anyone has ever seen, according to Dr. Brandenburg. He took the raw data files to one of the world’s best imaging scientists. After the picture was enhanced, it revealed a face with nostrils.
PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER
By putting these pieces of evidence together, Dr. Brandenburg concluded that there had been a planetary nuclear massacre on Mars. He believes the United States government had been aware of this evidence since 1976.
Dr. Brandenburg doesn’t claim to know the identity of the alien invaders. What he does know, however, is that they were a highly intelligent force hostile to primitive civilizations.
According to Dr. Brandenburg, these insights provide a resolution to what is known as the Fermi Paradox, which states that the galaxy should be teeming with life, but such life is nowhere to be found. The reason life has not been found in the Milky Way, according to Dr. Brandenburg, is because the “universe is a cemetery.” This highly advanced civilization goes throughout the galaxy and destroys whatever primitive civilizations it considers a threat.
“The rest of the cosmos is just as screwed up as Earth,” Dr. Brandenburg concluded.
Pieces to the puzzle still remain. We must send astronauts to Mars to find out what exactly happened there, according to Dr. Brandenburg, so that Earth may avoid a similar fate.

Beach-goers seeking a romantic evening under the stars on Saturday in Southern California got quite a surprise. Shortly after sunset, a fireball overhead sparked widespread confusion and speculation. Was it a meteor, rocket, or, perhaps, an alien spacecraft? By late Saturday, it was confirmed to be a multi-stage missile test from a US Navy submarine.
The military provided no advance information about a launch. However, in the immediate aftermath, some key clues did emerge. Earlier in the week, Los Angeles International Airport—which normally routes flights over water instead of nearby residential areas to reduce noise—announced it was temporarily diverting flights from sea-based landing routes to steer clear of air space requested by the military. Then, about an hour after the fireball was widely reported on social media, the Orange County Sheriff's Department tweeted that the light seen over southern California was "a Naval test fire off the coast."
Missile test over California coast
Later on Saturday, a US Navy spokesman finally confirmed that the fireball was, in fact, a Trident II (D5) missile test flight at sea from the Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine. ThisTrident missile, which has three stages that matched amateur videos of the event, has a range of 7,360 km. It is part of the country's triad of nuclear deterrents, including land-based missile systems and manned bombers.
The mysterious light flashing across the California sky Saturday night brought fear, fun and even some anger, with some wondering why the public wasn't told in advance to expect the drama.
Navy Strategic Systems Programs conducted a Trident II (D5) missile test flight at sea from the Kentucky, an Ohio class submarine, in the Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California.
Has this test occurred in Southern California before?
It's unclear. But the Pentagon called the test ongoing and that it occurs on a frequent basis.
The Pentagon said: "The tests were part of a scheduled, ongoing system evaluation test. Launches are conducted on a frequent, recurring basis to ensure the continued reliability of the system. Each test activity provides valuable information about our systems, thus contributing to assurance in our capabilities," a spokesman told the Los Angeles Times. "The missile was not armed. Strategic Systems Programs does not routinely announce missile testing. Information regarding the test launch of Trident II (D5) missiles is classified prior to the launch."
Was the public warned in advance?
Apparently not. There was a notice about undisclosed military activity causing a flight path shift at Los Angeles International Airport, but it's unclear if it was related to the test.
Officials warned that LAX was diverting arriving flights away from normal landing routes to steer clear of temporary military airspace, airport officials announced. The adjusted paths will bring more noise to residential areas directly east of LAX until Thursday.
This all sounds a bit familiar.
Last year, residents along the L.A. County coast insisted they felt an earthquake -- even though seismologists said one had not occurred.
It turned out the shaking came from a supersonic Navy flight. The U.S. Navy confirmed an aircraft flew faster than the speed of sound as part of an exercise with the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan about 50 miles off the coast.
In 2010, videos flooded the Internet showing an orange tail of vapor seeming to hurtle skyward off the coast of Los Angeles. There was much speculation of some type of secret military launch, but that was never confirmed.
Then, of course, there was a Battle of Los Angeles in 1942. In that infamous event, observers mistook some weather balloons for a Japanese invasion -- or something even worse. Read more on the Battle of Los Angeles here.
Of course, there were many jokes about UFOs. What was the other speculation?
Some thought it was part of the annual Taurid meteor shower, which is reaching its peak. But Brian Keating, an astrophysicist at UC San Diego, quickly dismissed that.
“The Taurid meteors would be coming from the east -- and this light came from the west,” Keating told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “We'd also be more likely to see meteors about midnight, and the flash came near sunset.”

Het licht werd voor het eerst gespot omstreeks 18.00 uur.
De sheriff van Orange County liet echter vrij snel weten dat het ging om een rakettest van de Amerikaanse marine voor de kust van Californië.
Even laten liet ook Los Angeles County Lost Hills Station weten dat "lichten en lasers konden gezien worden vanaf het strand en de kustlijn wegens 'militaire oefeningen op Catalina Island'." Het station laat ook weten dat het niet nodig is om de hulpdiensten te bellen.
Maar vooraleer deze berichten bevestigden dat het om een voorwerp van militaire oorsprong ging, sloeg Twitter natuurlijk tilt door speculaties dat het om een ufo zou gaan.
Een medewerker van het Griffith Observatory dacht in eerste instantie dat het om een voorloper van de meteorietenregen ging die deze week langs de aarde raast.
Het Amerikaanse leger werkt aan een manier om de gedachten van soldaten te kunnen uitlezen via hersensignalen. Het systeem met de naam Mission Impact Through Neurotechnology Design (MIND) wordt ontwikkeld in samenwerking met neurologen. Het leger zegt dat de technologie moet helpen bij de herkenning van patronen.
Op de website van het leger staat wat het systeem zoal kan. Zo wordt een recent experiment beschreven waarbij een soldaat aan de machine werd gekoppeld, waarna hij een aantal afbeeldingen uit verschillende categorieën te zien kreeg. De soldaat moest zich concentreren op een zelfgekozen categorie en vervolgens tellen hoeveel plaatjes er daarvan voorbijkwamen. Het systeem registreert hersenactiviteit via electro-encefalografie.
Oogbewegingen Door verschillen in hersenactiviteit te meten bij het zien van de verschillende plaatjes kon worden achterhaald aan welke categorie de soldaat dacht. De computer had ongeveer twee minuten nodig om te bepalen dat het proefkonijn een boot in gedachten had. Door het succes willen de makers het MIND-systeem verder ontwikkelen, met bijvoorbeeld de toevoeging van 'eye tracking'. Door te bepalen waar iemand naar kijkt, kunnen gedachtepatronen met nog meer precisie worden bepaald. Dat komt omdat het gebruik van de ogen ook leidt tot hersensignalen, en die kunnen de detectie van beeldpatronen verstoren.
Gedachten lezen Ondanks dat hersensignalen worden gemeten, lijken geen plannen te bestaan om echt gedachten van mensen te gaan uitlezen. Het leger heeft plannen om het systeem in te zetten voor patroonherkenning in afbeeldingen die zijn vergaard door veiligheidsdiensten. Door hersensignalen uit te lezen en de persoon slechts te laten denken aan wat wel en niet interessant is, kan er sneller door grote hoeveelheden data worden geploegd. Dat komt omdat de neurale signalen in de hersenen veel sneller werken dan het bewustzijn. Onduidelijk is nog wanneer MIND kan worden ingezet in de praktijk.

In Argentinië zijn een aantal mysterieuze graancirkels verschenen. De politie staat voor een raadsel. Graancirkelonderzoekers menen dat de vreemde concentrische cirkels zijn gemaakt door lange, blonde buitenaardse humanoïden. Dat melden Britse media.
In de graanvelden in de noordelijke provincie Salta zijn dit jaar een aantal vreemde patronen ontstaan. De nieuwste formatie is verschenen in een weiland in de plaats Chicoana.
Graancirkelonderzoekster Mercedes Casas zei: “Het gaat om negen cirkels die steeds kleiner worden. De eerste heeft een doorsnee van zeven meter, de laatste heeft een diameter van vier meter en is voorzien van vreemde tekens. De cirkels zijn verbonden door middel van één meter lange lijnen.”
In februari dit jaar werden er ook al graancirkels gemeld in Salta. Mercedes gelooft dat ze worden achtergelaten door ‘humanoïden’, buitenaardse wezens die eruitzien als mensen. Ze omschrijft ze als ‘lange, blonde wezens’.
Anderen denken dat het gaat om een grap. “Hoewel theoretici suggereren dat ze gelinkt zijn aan vreemde natuurlijke fenomenen of aliens, is er geen wetenschappelijk bewijs voor dergelijke verklaringen,” zei professor Taner Edis van de Truman State University in Missouri, die denkt dat alle graancirkels worden gemaakt door mensen.

Een 50 centimeter lange ‘gemummificeerde alien’ met grote ogen die is ontdekt in een Maya-tombe in Mexico, is deze week te zien tijdens een internationale conferentie in de Bulgaarse hoofdstad Sofia.
Op de bijeenkomst zijn UFO-wetenschappers uit Europa en Noord- en Zuid-Amerika aanwezig, zo meldt Sofia News Agency. Van vrijdag tot zondag proberen de deelnemers een controversieel onderwerp uit de taboesfeer te halen: het mogelijke contact met andere kosmische beschavingen.
Steeds meer interesse
“Er worden steeds meer documenten vrijgegeven en geheimen onthuld,” zei professor Lachezar Filipov van de Bulgaarse Academie voor Wetenschappen tegenover NOVA TV. Verleden jaar kondigde hij aan met zijn instituut voor ruimteonderzoek het UFO-fenomeen officieel te zullen bestuderen, nu steeds meer mensen er geïnteresseerd in raken.
Professor Filipov verwees toen naar een zakenman die zei boven een wijk in Sofia een ‘grote platinakleurige schotel zonder ramen’ te hebben gezien.
Controverse
Filipov is er niet alleen van overtuigd dat ze bestaan, maar gelooft ook dat ze al contact met ons hebben gemaakt. “Hier in Bulgarije wordt vaak gezegd dat mensen zoals ik rijp zijn voor het gesticht, terwijl mijn Ierse collega’s 1 miljoen dollar hebben gekregen om een camera te ontwikkelen die aliens moet gaan vastleggen,” klaagde hij.
De ontdekking van de ‘alien’ heeft in Mexico geleid tot veel controverse. Lokale media citeerden experts, die zeiden dat het ging om het lichaam van een twee jaar oud Maya-jongetje. Ufologen zijn daar niet zo zeker van.
Well, now we can get freaked out by an equally scary-looking submarine missile launch (according to the NAVY).
On the evening of November 7th, 2015, masses of people – including celebrities like actor Lena Dunham and country singer Cam – saw a bright glowing ball of light with a halo around it silently travel across and then appear to explode and dissipate. The event was witnessed in California, Arizona, and even Nevada, and what witnesses saw depended on the exact time and place they were watching. Plenty of local and national news outlets have picked up on the story.
Many people aren’t buying the official explanation being offered up by those news outlets, though. Other theories include:

At about 6pm, we had just returned to our vehicle parked off Hwy 89 after hiking to Lake Stampede. It was dark. We started to drive toward Hwy 89 when we saw a bright blue-white search light shining directly on top of the pine trees across the Hwy in front of us. We wondered if it was a search helicopter with a spotlight. Then,we noticed there were actually two spotlights shining out and that the object was hovering very slowly and was completely silent. We rolled down the windows and turned off the car and headlights to listen. We heard nothing. We also noticed a large cloud-like oval shape in the sky to the left of the object that glowed a light blue. The entire sky was clear with stars and there were no other actual clouds anywhere. The object went behind the trees and the lights were not visible; however, the glowing misty cloud remained, but was slowly fading and dimming. After waiting a minute, we decided to get on Hwy 89 and head back toward Truckee. We drove about a mile or two and could still see the glowing oval cloud in the sky and then we spotted the object in the distance going west. We pulled the car over and got out to take pictures with a professional camera. AS the pictures progressed, the object with the spot lights sort of dissipated as it continued to move west until it was out of view behind the mountain range. We took long exposures of the two objects so it would be clearly visible in the pictures (more than what the naked eye can see). The oval cloud remained in the sky and continued to fade into nothing within the next 15 minutes. It was definitely one of the strangest things we have ever seen! We were in awe. We continued to drive to Donner Pass Rd. and drove to the lookout parking lot before the bridge to observe the night sky for a while and it was completely clear with stars visible everywhere. The strange glowing cloud was gone.
