Een internationaal team van architecten en wetenschappers heeft afwijkingen in temperatuur gevonden in vier piramides in het Egyptische Giza. Wat die warmteverschillen veroorzaakt, is nog onduidelijk.
Onder de noemer Scan Pyramidsbegon het team met leden uit Egypte, Frankrijk, Canada en Japan op 25 oktober met het scannen van diverse piramides in Giza. Met behulp van warmtecamera's hoopten ze verborgen kamers in de eeuwenoude bouwsels op te sporen. Na amper drie weken hebben ze nu een bijzondere ontdekking gedaan. Maar liefst vier van de onderzochte piramides bleken plekken te hebben met een afwijkende temperatuur.
Hypotheses De grootste afwijking werd gevonden in de Piramide van Cheops. Een paar stenen op grondniveau verschillen tot wel zes graden in temperatuur met de rest van de stenen. Ook in de bovenste helft van de piramide zijn plekken met een andere temperatuur gevonden. Experts noemen de aanwezigheid van lege ruimtes, interne luchtstromingen of het gebruik van verschillende materialen als mogelijke oorzaken. De onderzoekers buigen zich nu over de vraag welke van deze hypotheses de juiste is.
De vondst werpt een heel ander licht op de piramides. De Nederlandse ingenieur Robert Voûte, die nauw betrokken is bij de missie en momenteel een scanproject opzet in Luxor, vertelt: "We bekijken ze al duizenden jaren zeggend dat we ze kennen, maar uiteindelijk, vierduizend jaar later, realiseren we ons dat het tegenovergestelde waar is."
Naast het verder onderzoeken van de warmteverschillen in de gescande piramides gaat Scan Pyramids de komende maanden ook nog door met het scannen van andere piramides. Het project loopt nog tot het einde van 2016.

De enorme bergen op dwergplaneet Pluto zijn mogelijk ijsvulkanen. Dat onthulde het team achter de Amerikaanse ruimtesonde New Horizons maandag op een bijeenkomst van de Amerikaanse Astronomenvereniging (AAS).
De sonde vloog eerder dit jaar langs Pluto en stuurt nog steeds informatie terug naar de aarde. Daaruit bleek dat op de dwergplaneet grote bergen te vinden zijn met laagtes op de top, zoals vulkanen op de aarde en Mars.
New Horizons-wetenschapper Oliver White noemde het bestaan van vulkanen op Pluto ,,het minst gestoorde idee waar we op konden komen'' toen werd gezocht naar een verklaring voor het verschijnsel. De vulkanen op Pluto zouden in plaats van lava bijvoorbeeld bevroren water, stikstof of ammoniak kunnen uitspuwen.
Ze zijn het gesprek van de dag in de Spaanse regio Murcia: twee zwarte bollen, die kort na elkaar gevonden werden in een weiland. Waar ze precies vandaan komen, is nog niet helemaal duidelijk.
Een week geleden viel hij zomaar uit de lucht: een grote bol met een diameter van ongeveer een meter, omhuld met een zwarte laag onbrandbaar materiaal. De Spaanse broers Juan en Francisco Espín vonden het ding op hun erf in het Spaanse plaatsje Llanos del Cagitán (regio Murcia). De twee waarschuwden een groepje soldaten dat in de buurt gelegerd was. Dat leidde er uiteindelijk toe dat de explosievenopruimingsdienst het voorwerp meenam voor inspectie.
Omdat het nog steeds onduidelijk is waar de bollen vandaan komen, speculeren buurtbewoners flink. Gaat het om ruimtepuin of hebben aliens er iets mee te maken? Schapenboer Juan is er in ieder geval helemaal klaar mee: "Ze kunnen de kudde krijgen, zolang ik maar geen problemen krijg", zei hij tegen de Spaanse krant El País.
Tweede bol Amper bekomen van de schrik vond een boer, woonachtig op een steenworp afstand van de twee broers, zondag opnieuw een zwarte bol. Hij waarschuwde direct de politie, waarna opnieuw de explosievenopruimingsdienst in actie kwam. Ook de tweede bol is een mysterie en maakt aardig wat tongen los in het plaatsje Mula, eveneens in de regio Murcia.
De eerste bol is inmiddels naar het scheikundig centrum Centro de Referencia Nacional de Formación Profesional Química in Cartagena gestuurd voor nader onderzoek. De meest waarschijnlijke uitleg is volgens hen dat het om een brandstoftank van een ruimteschip of een raket gaat. Tot de herkomst voor honderd procent duidelijk is, blijft het echter gissen naar het verhaal achter de mysterieuze zwarte bollen.

The ultimate Ancient Alien sanctuary: Mohenjo-Daro

Mohenjo-Daro was, without a doubt, one of the most important cities of South Asia and the Indus Civilization together with Hrappa which was one of the first and most important ancient settlements of the world. The ruins of the incredible ancient city of Mohenjo Daro are located in modern-day Pakistan. According to some researchers, the densely populated ancient city was destroyed nearly instantly around 2000 years ago by a huge explosion which, according to ancient alien theorists and other researchers, was caused by the detonation of a nuclear bomb. David Davenport, a British researchers spent over 12 years studying ancient texts and writings related to this once majestic city.
According to Davenport, what he found out about ancient Mohenjo-Daro corresponds exactly to what happened to Nagasaki. His studies and research were published in the book 2000 a.C. Distruzione atomica (Atomic Destruction in 2000 BC).
Mohenjo Daro is a unique ancient city demonstrating incredible levels of city planning and amenities with houses with brick-built bathrooms and toilets. The wastewater was exceptionally arranged led into brick sewers that ran along the streets covered with stone slabs.
Researchers believe that Mohenjo-Daro was one of the first and most important urban settlements in ancient times, comparable to great civilizations such as the Ancient Egyptian, or those from Mesopotamia and Crete. It is estimated that at its peak, Mohenjo-Daro was inhabited by 40,00 inhabitants even though some scholars have come up with a much larger number saying that it was inhabited by over 100,000 inhabitants in the past.
Mysteries of Mohenjo-Daro
According to David Davenport, descriptions in the Mahabharata, Drona Parva describe a mysterious ‘weapon’ called “Agneya” that caused the destruction of this great ancient city.
According to Davenport the following can be found in the Mahabharata:
“White hot smoke that was a thousand times brighter than the sun rose in infinite brilliance and reduced the city to ashes. Water boiled…horses and war chariots were burned by the thousands… the corpses of the fallen were mutilated by the terrible heat so that they no longer looked like human beings…”
These descriptions have led Davenport to suggest the ancient city was destroyed by advanced weapons in the past. According to Davenport, several objects found at Mohenjo-Daro look as if they were fused, vitrified by heat up to 1500 degrees Celsius and cooled shortly afterwards. Davenport also states that within the city itself the epicenter of the explosion can be found, 50 yards wide within which everything was literally fused or crystallized, while sixty yards from the epicenter there is evidence of melted bricks on one side which according to the British researcher, indicate a blast.
If we look further into the story behind Mohenjo-Daro we come across a book called “Riddles of Ancient History” written in 1966 by Borbovsky who reports that at least one human skeleton was found in Mohenjo-Daro with extreme amounts of radioactivity, up to fifty times more than natural radiation. These details have led Davenport to compare Mohenjo-Daro to the catastrophic bombing of Nagasaki.
J. Robert Oppenheimer, the modern-day “father of the atomic bomb,” known to study ancient Hindu and Vedic texts, was asked, after the first nuclear bomb detonated if this was indeed “the first” nuclear explosion. His response was, “Yes, in modern times.”
But if it wasn’t a nuclear bomb… could it have been something else that caused the destruction of Mohenjo-Daro? So far, researchers have not found evidence of any volcanic activity in the past at Mohenjo-Daro which could explain the mysterious fused artifacts found at the city. However, an asteroid impact might explain the destruction of the ancient city.
These enigmas have led several researchers to question what really happened at Mohenjo-Daro thousands of years ago and if it is possible that somehow, someone used Ancient Atomic weapons flooding the city with destruction and causing skeletons to show up positive for radiation.
Is it possible that the destruction of Mohenjo-Daro was caused by the detonation of a nuclear device? Or is it possible that there is another, more logical explanation that can clarify what exactly happened at Mohenjo-Daro thousands of years ago?

Facebook user Gianna Peponis from San Jose, California, discovered it in her garden yesterday and, after posting it to Facebook, it quickly went viral. It was also posted on Reddit by one of her friends, apparently.

“I heard something scream at like 11:30 last night and went on my side yard and found this thing. It was dead when I found it,” Peponis wrote in her post on Facebook, which has apparently since been deleted by the site.

Many commenters were quick to link it to the “mystery alien lights” spotted in the skies above California over the weekend, which were later revealed to originate from a submarine test missile launch.
Closer inspection, though, reveals the grisly explanation for the weird alien thing (to give it an official name).
It appears to be the remains of a deer fetus, one that has possibly been partially eaten by other animals. At the bottom you can clearly see two legs, while at the top are the possible remains of where the other legs used to be, and what looks like a mauled head.
A quick search for “deer fetus” (yes, that link is relatively NSFW) turns up similar looking creatures, but with their limbs and head intact. We can only presume that this poor sap was prematurely born, before being ravaged by predators.
Yeah, ouch. At least it’s probably not aliens, though.

According to a book that was recently introduced in India, the Hindus have designed the bases of aviation, even interplanetary travel, thousands of years before the Wright brothers.
The work, presented by Anand Weddings and Ameya Jadhav during the scientific conference organized by the University of Mumbai, India, concludes that an aviation system even more advanced than the current would have been described by the sage Maharshi Bharadwaja, thousands of years ago. Bharadwaja was one of the greatest Hindu sages. He attained extraordinary scholarship and he had the great power of meditation.
The Vaimānika Śāstra an early 20th-century Sanskrit text on aerospace technology makes claim that he vimānas mentioned in ancient Sanskrit epics were advanced aerodynamic flying vehicles, similar to a rocket capable of interplanetary flight as backed up by the ancient alien theory.
The texts were revealed in 1952 by G. R. Josye and contain 3000 shlokas in 8 chapters which Shastry claimed was psychically delivered to him by the ancient Hindu sage Bharadvaja. The propulsion of the Vimanas according to Kanjilal (1985) is by a “Mercury Vortex Engines”, a concept similar to electric propulsion.
The authors argue that the sage Maharishi Bharadwaj would have described more than 7000 years ago “aircraft traveling between countries, continents and planets.” At the same time, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, Rajan Welukar, said that “there is no reason to believe in what they say about the Vedas, but it is something that is worth studying.”

Even though there are several studies that have demonstrated that these ancient flying machines were not really capable of flight, there are many researchers and scholars who believe that these ancient machines were blueprints of high-tech flying machines.

More than a decade after the last flight of the Concorde, a new generation of supersonic passenger aircraft are emerging – and their makers say they will be twice as fast as commercial planes.
The N+2 jet, designed by US global aerospace Lockheed Martin, is one commercial-purpose model of a new series of planes that will cater primarily to the mega-rich in the private and business jet market.
The jet, which will be able to accommodate 80 passengers and which will have a tri-jet configuration (in which one engine is placed on top of the aircraft), would reduce the time taken from New York to Los Angeles to just two-and-a-half hours.

‘To achieve revolutionary reductions in supersonic transportation airport noise, a totally new kind of propulsion system is being developed,’ said Michael Buonanno, Lockheed Martin manager of the NASA N+2 programme.
‘We are also exploring new techniques for low noise jet exhaust, integrated fan noise suppression, airframe noise suppression and computer customized airport noise abatement.’
Rival company Airbus are also teaming up with Aerion to create the AS2 jet, which would get from London to New York in just three hours and could have its maiden flights as soon as 2019.
The AS2 would hope to fly at speeds of 1,217mph – more than twice the speed of modern commercial long-haul jets.

According to ufologists and UFO hunters around the globe, another monumental discovery has been made on the surface of the red planet. Recent images taken by NASA’s curiosity rover show what appear to be artificial structures on the surface of the red planet, specifically walls.
UFO hunters point towards the following images and suggest that these are the ultimate evidence of past life on Mars.
According to many, these images prove that millions of years ago, when the red planet had an atmosphere similar to Earth, and liquid water flowing on its surface, ancient civilizations developed on our neighboring planet. These images, together with other interesting photographs of the red planet show that in the distant past, Mars was inhabited by intelligent life forms who built structures, buildings and monuments just as we do on Earth.
While skeptics will firmly dismiss these findings, people on Social Media have compared images of ancient walls on Earth to the alleged structures found on Mars, the similarities are staggering.
The possibility of Life on Mars
Consider for a moment the possibility that in the distant past, when Mars had water and an atmosphere, life developed on the planet. For hundreds of thousands of years, perhaps even millions of years, life on Mars developed to the point where they became capable of creating structures just as we on Earth. Life on the red planet continued to strive, society developed and just as we call Earth home today, these ‘beings’ might called Mars their home millions of years ago. Then, chaotic changers turned the planet into a desolate and inhospitable place. Oceans, lakes and rivers dried out, Martian vegetation disappeared, and the planet became inhospitable and life forms on the planet became extinct.
Are there any similarities between the images on MArs and ‘man-made’ walls on Earth?
Now, millions of years later, our civilization has developed to the point where we can send spacecraft to other planets and moons, we are exploring Mars and seeing incredible images that spark our imagination.
While these images might be evidence that support the above-mentioned scenario, they can also be the product of Pareidolia. In order to fully understand Mars and its past, prove or dis-prove the existence of life on Mars, we need to examine the evidence physically and based on scientific facts come to a conclusion.
At this point, the only thing we can do is ask ourselves, what if these images are evidence of ancient structures, walls, and monuments on Mars. What if we are looking at the product of intelligent alien beings, who became extinct millions of years ago? At this point we can only wonder and debate whether these images are the product of intelligent design or not.

Roger Leir était un médecin et un ufologue américain. Sa spécialité : la podiatrie (l’équivalent de la podologie en France). Il collabora avec de nombreuses associations ufologiques comme le Mufon et le NIDS. Il oeuvra beaucoup autour des affaires d’enlèvements par des extra-terrestres (abductions) et se rendit célèbre pour avoir enlevé des implants supposés « non humains » dans le corps de patients supposés abductés.
Les débuts des recherches sur les implants
C’est au cours de l’année 1995, lors d’une conférence sur l’ufologie, que le Docteur Leir changea son regard sur l’ufologie. Au moment, où une femme vint le trouver pour lui demander de retirer un objet inséré dans son orteil. Si Leir fut amusé par cette demande dans un premier temps, il s’aperçut rapidement que la chose était sérieuse et que l’histoire racontée par cette femme, sur son enlèvement, prenait tout son sens et de l’importance. En Août 1995, il fit ses deux premières interventions chirurgicales. Ce fut le début de nouveaux questionnements.
Leir faisait en sorte de ne pas attirer l’attention sur ses activités extra professionnelles. Il avait peur que cela nuise à sa carrière de médecin. Mais malgré ses précautions, plusieurs personnes réussirent à le contacter pour lui demander le même service. Au fur et à mesure de la demande grandissante, Leir mit en en place un protocole permettant de faire un tri judicieux entre les demandeurs sérieux, supposés victimes d’abductions et les affabulateurs. Cela passait par des examens biologiques, radiologiques et psychologiques. Se lancer dans de pareilles opérations exigeait que cela soit fait dans le plus grand sérieux afin de ne pas discréditer son travail ni mettre en péril sa carrière.
Leir ne se contenta pas seulement de retirer des implants. Il passa également beaucoup de temps à recueillir le témoignage de ceux ayant été victimes d’une ou de plusieurs abductions.
Les premières constatations
Au cours de ces années, plusieurs types 15 implants furent extraits. Les premiers étaient étonnants car aucune cicatrice ne laissait envisager qu’un objet avait été déposé sous la peau. Seul un examen de radiologie permit de le confirmer. Le premier implant, au grand étonnement de celui qui a effectué les analyses, était composé d’un matériau provenant d’une météorite.

Accusations d’escroquerie : Le vendredi 12 octobre 2007, la chaine télévisée française TF1 diffuse l’émission « Les maîtres de l’imposture ». Dans celle-ci, l’émission présente le Dr Leir comme un escroc, et le positionne à la 3ème place de leur classement. Il fut reproché au docteur de se faire beaucoup d’argent sur le compte de ses opérations (soit 6000 à 24000 € par opération).
Gildas Bourdais, écrivain et ufologue français, à la demande de son ami Leir, rectifia le tir en diffusant la lettre de réponse de ce dernier :

Two weeks on the team of architects and scientists from Egypt, France, Canada and Japan said in a joint statement they had observed “thermal anomalies” on the monuments, including on the Khufu pyramid.
“The teams have concluded the existence of several thermal anomalies that were observed on all monuments during the heating up or the cooling down phases,” the statement said.
“To explain such anomalies a lot of hypothesis and possibilities could be drawn up: presence of voids behind the surface, internal air currents.”
In particular, it said, an “impressive” anomaly was found “on the eastern side of the Khufu pyramid at ground level”.
Thermal scanning of the massive structure indicated that some of the limestone blocks were hotter than others.
“This area should be the subject of further investigation during the subsequent phases of the project,” which was expected to last until the end of 2016, the statement added.
“Khufu will offer us today one of its secrets,” the Egyptian antiquities minister, Mamduh al-Damati, told reporters at the pyramid.
Neither he nor the experts provided any tangible explanation for the anomalies, which could indicate the existence of a secret chamber.
The project also involves thermal scanning at the Khafre pyramid of Giza as well as two pyramids in Dahshur, all of them south of Cairo

ANCIENT 5,000-YEAR-OLD UNDERGROUND METROPOLIS DISCOVERED IN TURKEY
A 5,000-year-old underground city discovered in central Turkey in December 2014 is thought to be the largest in the world!
The previously unknown ancient metropolis was unearthed in the course of the implementation of an urban transformation project initiated by Turkey’s Housing Development Administration’s (TOKİ) in Nevşehir province of Central Anatolia.
While carrying out earthmoving works in the area, which was meant to be used for the construction of new buildings, the developers stumbled upon a massive underground network of cave tunnels, escape galleries and chambers spanning over 3.5 miles (7 kilometers).

In fact, it is not the first time when a subterranean settlement is found by accident in Turkey.
The region of Cappadocia, where the province of Nevşehir is located, is known for its historical and archaeological legacy as it once was a province of the Roman Empire.

The upper levels of the complex were first spotted in 2013, but its full size became apparent only at the end of 2014. Despite the fact that 90 million Turkish liras (around $35 million) have been spent on the project so far, the construction was postponed and the area was registered with Turkey’s Cultural and National Heritage Preservation Board. Till now, 44 historical objects from the site have been taken under preservation.
“It is not a known underground city. Tunnel passages of seven kilometers are being discussed. We stopped the construction we were planning to do on these areas when an underground city was discovered,” said TOKİ Head Mehmet Ergün Turan.
It is estimated that the newly-found complex, which consists of a network of carved rooms and tunnels and also contains hidden churches and numerous artefacts, dates back 5,000 years and may actually be the world’s largest underground city. Well, it is certainly the largest among the other archaeological sites in Nevşehir, which is famous for its underground cities and villages. It even surpasses in size the 18-story subterranean city at Derinkuyu, which is believed to have once accommodated nearly 20,000 residents and was connected by many miles of underground tunnels. Nevşehir mayor Hasan Ünver said that the other underground cities of the area have the size of a “kitchen” in comparison with the newly discovered complex.
While there is still very little known about the new subterranean metropolis, archeologists have already made some hypotheses about its possible function. Thus, Özcan Çakır of the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University thinks that the city may have served for storing and transporting agricultural products.
“We believe that people who were engaged in agriculture were using the tunnels to carry agricultural products to the city. We also estimate that one of the tunnels passes under Nevşehir and reaches a faraway water source,” he said.

The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez has called on the authorities to give worried residents answers about the strange phenomenon.
A huge green fireball lit up Thailand’s sky on the 2nd of November, captivating the locals who were scared but at the same time intrigued by this spectacular phenomenon known as the Taurid meteor shower.
This year is expected to be a bit more special as the Taurids will be more active than usual, meaning that the meteorites will be more numerous and at the same time more enforced. This spectacular event happens when Earth passes through a large area containing debris left by Comet Encke. The shower peak is expected to run Nov. 5 through Nov. 12, but apparently Thailand had the privilege to be one of the first countries to witness it.
NASA scientist, Bill Cooke, gave an advice about when it’s the best time to experience this:
“Taurid meteors can be seen any time the constellation Taurus is above the horizon during the months of September, October, and November. The best time to look for Taurids is after midnight, when Taurus is high in the sky, and when the sky is dark and clear, with no moonlight to mask the fainter meteors.”
If you plan to see some spectacular sightings now it’s the perfect occasion, so get hold of your gear, find a remote, dark place, preferably away from the city lights and pollutants and see how space manifests during this meteorite-active period, and who knows what other bizarre things might show up. Stay vigilant!

SIX men questioned on suspicion of murdering a missing work colleague claimed he was abducted by a flying saucer, leaving police incredulous to their story.

But five days later the missing man turned-up, saying he HAD been abducted by aliens and had been forced to punch his way out.
The forestry workers reported Travis Walton missing after they saw him get blasted back 20 feet by an energy beam from a UFO that "appeared over the trees," police thought it was an elaborate cover up and that they had actually killed him and disposed of the body.
But major searches of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, near Phoenix, Arizona, USA, found no corpse and Mr Walton mysteriously reappeared five days later after making a distressed emergency call from a phone box.
And, 40 years on, Mr Walton and his former co-workers still maintain their account of what is recognised as the world's most remarkable UFO sighting and alien abduction claim on record.
The team, who were on a tree-thinning project, have all passed lie detector tests over the remarkable incident in November 1975, adding credibility to their account.
Now, Mr Walton is returning to the scene of his nocturnal abduction in the forest, as part of a special conference to mark the 40th anniversary of the case which grabbed international headlines at the time.

On Sunday he will lead people attending the Skyfire Summit conference to the scene of where he says it happened after several speakers, including himself and some of the co-workers take to the stage.
The same co workers were under suspicion of killing Mr Walton until he suddenly reappeared.
The seven of them reported how they were driving in the forest in a truck when they first saw mysterious lights which then appeared to be a flying saucer up in the canopy.
A mesmerised Mr Walton was the only one among them to venture out of the vehicle and approach the craft, despite his colleagues pleading with him not to go near.
Mr Walton said: "My eyes were just riveted on this thing. Then it threw me back through the air 20 feet."
His colleagues reported seeing him fly backwards with his back arched from a beam of light bearing down from the craft.
The terrified men fled in the vehicle, but returned later when there was no trace of the UFO or Mr Walton.
Mr Walton insists he woke up inside an alien craft, lying on a table and surrounded by three aliens with other humanoid looking beings in the background.
I got this rush of adrenaline and jumped from the table and just lashed out. Then I blacked out and woke up on the side of the road and ran to the nearest call box and collapsed.

What he didn't know at the time was he had been gone for five days.
After passing the lie detectors, it became one of the most significant alien abduction cases on record, but he has also faced detractors.
The incredible story was even turned into the 1995 movie called Fire in the Sky.
It has left Mr Walton in no doubt we are not alone.

He said: "The knowledge (of aliens) has reached the tipping point. It is the debunkers and the sceptics who are the kooks."
There are still sceptics however, and those who claim it was an elaborate hoax.
The www.occupytheory.org website, part of the Occupy movement, is not convinced by the story and points out there were no witnesses to Mr Walton being drawn up into the spacecraft, adding that he could have hid for five days before reappearing.
In a report about the case, the website said: "Once Walton returned he wouldn’t just talk to the press.
"He’d only talk with publications that believed in UFOs.
"The story ran in the National Enquirer in 1975."
It also claimed he failed a lie detector carried out by the Enquirer and there was a history of UFO/alien claims among his immediate family before the "abduction".

On Nov. 5, 1975, an Arizona man was allegedly abducted by aliens.
It's been 40 years since that event that has captivated millions for decades. This is the story of Travis Walton. Walton was working with a logging crew that was on its way home.
While driving through the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, the crew spotted a strange light and some kind of craft hovering overhead. Walton said he approached the craft, a beam of light struck him and he fell unconscious.
Walton claims he woke up on a table inside some kind of alien craft surrounded by aliens. He said he tried to escape and encountered human-like figures. Following that, all he remembers is waking up near the town of Heber.
Travis was missing for a total of five days. The video contained in this story is Walton's account of those events.
