Police investigators have no idea as to who or what is making a series of strange crop circles in Argentina.
The unusual pattern of wheat fields have appeared in the northern province of Salta in 2015, and the latest one was on a plantation in Chicoana.
Mercedes Casas, a crop circle investigator, said that the latest pattern has nine circles that begin big and get smaller until the last one.
The first circle has seven metres in diameter and gradually gets smaller until four metres with some interesting markings, Casas described. She added that lines connect the circles, approximately a metre wide and a few centimetres tall.
Another formation of crop circles appeared in Salta in February.
Mercedes believes humanoids designed these rings. These humanoids, according to Mercedes, are extra-terrestrial entities in the form of humans that appear tall and blonde.
A physics professor at Truman State University, Taner Edis, said these circles all fall within the range of hoaxes so far. Edis explains that he’s aware of claims of obscure natural causes or alien origin, but there’s no scientific evidence for such explanations.

Astronomen hebben een nieuw object ontdekt in ons zonnestelsel, dat drie keer verder van de aarde staat dan Pluto. “We weten niets over de omloopbaan van dit object,” zei Scott Sheppard van het Carnegie Institute of Washington. “We weten alleen dat het gaat om het meest afgelegen object in ons zonnestelsel.”
Het nieuwe object is V774104 gedoopt en staat op ongeveer 103 astronomische eenheden (afstand tussen de aarde en de zon) van de zon. De twee Pioneer-sondes, die sinds 1972 en 1973 door de ruimte reizen, staan op ongeveer dezelfde afstand van ons af.
Wetenschappers schatten dat het hemellichaam tussen de 500 en 1000 kilometer in doorsnee moet zijn. In de buurt van V774104 zijn nog meer hemellichamen aangetroffen. Omdat ze zo langzaam rond de zon draaien, zal het ongeveer een jaar duren voordat er meer bekend is over hun omloopbaan en herkomst.
Donkere rotsachtige planeet
Als ze richting Neptunus bewegen, zijn ze waarschijnlijk uit het binnenste deel van het zonnestelsel verstoten. Het is ook mogelijk dat ze uit de binnenste Oortwolk komen. Er zijn tot op heden maar twee objecten ontdekt die daar vandaan komen: dwergplaneet Sedna en 2012 VP113.
“Sedna en VP113 zijn de enige objecten in het nu bekende zonnestelsel met een omloopbaan die niet kan worden verklaard,” zei Michael Brown van het California Institute of Technology.
Eén mogelijke verklaring voor de vreemde omloopbaan van deze objecten is de aanwezigheid van een hele donkere rotsachtige planeet, die de objecten als een soort schaapsherder bij elkaar houdt.
Superaarde
Het is goed mogelijk dat voorbij Pluto nog een Neptunus-achtige planeet of superaarde staat die niet kan worden gedetecteerd met de huidige telescopen. Het is ook mogelijk dat de objecten zijn beïnvloed door een passerende ster.
Als blijkt dat de omloopbaan van de objecten niet wordt beïnvloed door bekende reuzenplaneten, zal worden gekeken of de banen kunnen worden gelinkt aan een nog onbekende reuzenplaneet in de buitenste regionen van ons zonnestelsel.

A small planet, just a bit bigger than Earth, has been spotted in our stellar neighborhood, just 39 light-years away.
Known as GJ 1132b, it is the closest rocky exoplanet to have ever been found, and astronomers say it could provide our most in-depth look yet at an alien world not so different than our own.
Drake Deming, an astronomer at the University of Maryland, was so excited about the findings, published this week in Nature, that he described the new world as "arguably the most important planet ever found outside the solar system" in an accompanying News and Views article.
The newly discovered planet is just 16 percent larger than Earth, and it is made of rock and metal like our own planet. However, scientists say it is not likely to host life as we know it.
Its small, dim, sun is just one-fifth the size of our own sun, but GJ 1132b circles it at a distance of just 1.4 million miles, completing a full orbit once every 1.6 Earth days. (For perspective, Mercury orbits the sun from a distance of 36 million miles.)
The exoplanet's close proximity to its host star keeps its temperature at a broiling 500 degrees Fahrenheit — or about as hot as the highest setting on your home oven, said Zachory Berta-Thompson, a post-doc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research.
At that temperature, liquid water cannot exist on the planet's surface, although scientists say it is likely the planet still has an atmosphere.
"Our best guess is that this planet looks like Venus," said Berta-Thompson, who was also the first author on the study. "But we won't have to guess for long. This is the first rocky planet for which we have the chance to go out and observe its atmosphere."
GJ 1132b was discovered with the help of the MEarth-South Observatory, a Harvard University lead array of eight 16-inch wide robotic telescopes stationed in the mountains of Chile. The array is specifically tasked with looking among nearby stars exoplanets that in some way resemble Earth.
"The idea is if we can find the planet in a small telescope, we can study it in much more detail with a large telescope," said Berta-Thompson.
The researchers first detected GJ 1132b in May 2014, when they noticed a telltale dip in the brightness of a small red dwarf star that suggests a planet had passed in front of it, blocking some of its light.
After confirming the finding with a smattering of other telescopes, the researchers proceeded to do a series of measurements and calculations to characterize the exoplanet.
By measuring how much the star dims each time the planet passes in front of it they were able to determine the planet is just a bit bigger than Earth.
By looking at the frequency of the dips in the star's brightness they could say with certainty that the planet orbits its sun once every 1.6 Earth days.
The orbital period of the planet can also be used to calculate how far the exoplanet is from its host star, which in turn helped the researchers estimate how much the planet is likely heated by its star.
And there's more.
Planets exert a slight gravitational pull on their host stars, causing them to wobble. By measuring how much a star wobbles, astronomers can determine an exoplanet's mass. Because they also know its size from looking at how much light it blocks, they can also figure out the planet's density.
"The mass was telling us that this planet is for the most part a big ball of rock and iron, and not just big puffy ball," Berta-Thompson said. "For example, we could have measured that the density was the same as a bag of feathers."
But Berta-Thompson said these initial investigations of the newly found planet are just the beginning of what he hopes will be a lot more study yet to come — especially once the powerful James Webb Space Telescope is launched in October 2018.
"We've come up with theories about rocky planets — how they formed, how they got into their current orbits, what physical processes occur on them — but we have not been able to test many of them," he said. "The discovery of this planet gives us the opportunity to switch our focus from imagining what is out there to testing our theories observationally."

“Amazingly, the forces responsible for the sequence recognition can reach across more than one nanometer of water separating the surfaces of the nearest neighbor DNA.”
In the experiment, researchers placed fluorescently tagged DNA strands in water without proteins or other material that could interfere with the experiment and observed it. Researchers were able to understand that identical nucleotide sequences were about twice as likely to gather together as DNA strands with different sequences.
This incredible experiment might shed new light and help increase accuracy and efficiency of homologous recombination of genes which according to scientists, is a process that is responsible for DNA repair, evolution and genetic diversity.

This finding is unprecedented, and remains an inexplicable enigma to science.
No, we are not talking about the alien megastructures that have everyone going berserk over the last couple of weeks. We are talking about unexplained, bizarre, fast-moving “ripples” spotted around a star located in the vicinity of our Solar System. These anomalous ripples have scientists scratching their heads, looking for an explanation that could shed light into what these enigmatic objects truly are. According to one of the researchers, Anthony Boccaletti, the finding is extremely weird and unexpected. The enigmatic objects were detected by analyzing images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 2010 and 2011, and the Very Large Telescope, from the European Southern Observatory. Scientists were studying the disk of gas and dust surrounding the young star AU Microscopii for signs that reveal the presence of other planets. This red dwarf is located in the constellation Microscopium, composed mainly of low-energy star. “At least three of the features are moving so fast that they could well be escaping from the gravitational attraction of the star,” according to a news release.
While studying the data provided by the Hubble Space Telescope, experts have concluded that the mysterious undulating objects are moving at an astonishing speed of approximately 40,000 kilometers per hour.
“Everything about this find was pretty surprising,” said co-author Carol Grady. “And because nothing like this has been observed or predicted in theory, we can only hypothesize when it comes to what we are seeing and how it came about.”
While researchers are trying to understand what is causing these anomalous ripples, they say they are not caused by the collision of larger asteroid-like objects or other instabilities like anomalies in the star’s gravity.
“One explanation for the strange structure links them to the star’s flares. AU Mic is a star with high flaring activity — it often lets off huge and sudden bursts of energy from on or near its surface,” explains co-author Glenn Schneider of Steward Observatory, USA. “One of these flares could perhaps have triggered something on one of the planets — if there are planets — like a violent stripping of material which could now be propagating through the disc, propelled by the flare’s force.”
“It is very satisfying that SPHERE has proved to be very capable at studying discs like this in its first year of operation,” adds Jean-Luc Beuzit, who is both a co-author of the new study and also led the development of SPHERE itself.
In order to fully understand deep space anomalies like this, scientists say they need to continue observing AU Mic’s behavior to understand and answers the mysteries surrounding the star. Some astronomers believe that these anomalies may have been produced by a large explosion in a nearby planet.
This research was presented in a paper entitled “Fast-Moving Structures in the Debris Disk Around AU Microscopii”, to appear in the journal Nature on 8 October 2015.

THE Earth could be left powerless to defend against blasts of solar radiation from the Sun for up to 200 YEARS, leaving us at risk from skin cancer and worldwide electronic communication blackouts, NASA scientists have warned.

The US space agency confirmed fears that we may be heading towards an extraordinary event, which would see compasses point SOUTH if the magnetic poles shift.
Bruce Jakosky, MAVEN principal investigator at the University of Colorado, Boulder, said when the switch does take place, the Earth's magnetic field which prevents the Sun's dangerous radiation getting through, would be neutralised for around 200 years.
He revealed the detail during an historic announcement about how Mars lost 99% of its atmosphere and its oceans that could have housed early life.
Michael Myer, lead scientist for the NASA Mars mission, added that the Sun had been much more powerful in the early stages of the solar system when Mars had been continually blasted, and, even then the process had taken billions of years and still one per cent of its atmosphere remains.
However, scientists admit that 200 years without a magnetic shield to defend against the Sun's solar storms, which cause the amazing northern lights on earth as the rays hit the magnetic shield, would have implications for us.
The magnetic shield is our first line of defence against harmful UV rays, and any thinning of the atmosphere could increase the risk from skin cancer.
Without a magnetic field, or with a significantly reduced one it could destroy global communications facilities, power supplies, and even lead to fires and rioting on the streets, according to some researchers.
There are even doom-mongers have predicted that a swap of the magnetic poles from north to south would shift the continents so fiercely it would trigger mass earthquakes, rapid climate change, extinctions and global destruction.
Geologists have said the shift event has happened a number of times in Earth's history - with the last one 780,000 years ago during the stone age.
Alan Thompson, head of geomagnetism at the British Geological Survey, said during previous flips: "no worldwide shifting of continents or other planet-wide disasters occurred, as geoscientists can testify to from fossil and other records."
Earthquakes aside, there is a scientific belief that as we head towards a reversal - which could be less than 1,000 years away, Earth's magnetic field will dangerously weaken leaving us at the mercy of solar storms when radiation and X-rays are ejected from the Sun towards our planet.

But it is scientifically accepted out magnetic field has significantly weaker over the past 160 years and it is believed this could mean we are heading for the next big polar reversal, which could happen any time between 1,000 to 10,000 years to finish.

Geologic records show hundreds of pole reversals have occurred through Earth's history.
It is caused by patches of iron atoms in our liquid outer core getting reverse-aligned, as if they were small magnets oriented in the opposite direction to others around them.
If reversed ions expand to the stage they out power the others, the Earth's overall magnetic field "flips".
Jean-Pierre Valet, who conducts research on geomagnetic reversals at the Institute of Earth Physics of Paris, said: "The most dramatic changes that occur when the poles reverse is a very large decrease of the total field intensity."
Monika Korte, the scientific director of the Niemegk Geomagnetic Observatory at GFZ Potsdam in Germany, said: "It's not a sudden flip, but a slow process, during which the field strength becomes weak, very probably the field becomes more complex and might show more than two poles for a while, and then builds up in strength and [aligns] in the opposite direction."
When the magnetic field gets weakest, as ours should continue to do so, is when we are at most risk from solar flares.
Amazing Aurora Pictures from Alaska
Keen snapper Nolan Nitschke travelled to Alaska from his home in Bishop, California, after he and his friends worked out the time of year most likely to see the best aurora activity. And they werent let down - as the amazing array of colours danced across the Alaskan skies in a theatrical performance locals described as the most spectacular they had seen in over 30 years. Nolan and his pals spent the night photographing the stunning sights throughout a strong solar storm which he described as almost like tentacles uncontrollably waving through the air.
John Tarduno, professor of geophysics at the University of Rochester, said: "Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) occasionally occur on the Sun, and sometimes hurtle directly toward Earth.
"Some of the particles associated with CMEs can be blocked by Earth's magnetic field. With a weak field, this shielding is less efficient."
Other experts aren't convinced that there's a connection between pole reversals and species extinctions. "Even if the field becomes very weak, at the Earth's surface we are shielded from radiation by the atmosphere. Similarly as we cannot see or feel the presence of the geomagnetic field now, we most likely would not notice any significant change from a reversal," Ms Korte said.
One thing is clear though another flip WILL happen at some stage and our magnetic field has already weakened.
It is believed a growing patch of reverse-alignment in the liquid core beneath Brazil and the South Atlantic is responsible.
Mr Tarduno said: "(It) has been decreasing for at least 160 years at an alarming rate, leading some to speculate that we are heading toward a reversal."

Pourquoi The Mirror et The Express, des quotidiens anglais à grand tirage, ont-t-il exhumé ce récit qui compte parmi les plus célèbres de l’ufologie sans qu’aucun élément nouveau ne le justifie ? Mystère.
Il y a pourtant une actualité récente qui pourrait expliquer ce regain d’intérêt pour cette affaire mais le journal n’en touche pas mot : l’aventure de Betty et Barney Hill va être adaptée pour la première fois au cinéma. Et ce n’est que justice car ce cas est un classique de l’ufologie moderne.
PETITS GRIS, MISSING TIME, EXAMENS MÉDICAUX
Le 19 septembre 1961, Betty et Barney Hill, un couple mixte du New-Hampshire, auraient été enlevés par des extraterrestres pendant leur retour en voiture d’un voyage au Canada. Tous les éléments caractéristiques des « abductions », le terme introduit en français par l’ufologue et ancienne journaliste de Paris Match Marie-Thérèse de Brosses pour qualifier les enlèvements attribués aux extraterrestres, sont déjà présents: expériences médicales étranges et terrifiantes, présence des « petits gris », ces prétendus aliens que l’on retrouve dans une majorité d’abductions, missing time, une période de temps oubliée par les témoins, et l’hypnose qui révèle les évènements survenus pendant ce « temps manquant » etc.

Outre le récit sous hypnose relaté séparément par les deux époux et enregistré par le psychiatre Benjamin Simon, sceptique mais convaincu de la sincérité de ses patients, l’aventure de Betty et Barney Hill est étayée par quelques éléments matériels : -Des éraflures sur la carrosserie de la voiture du couple. -Une étrange poudre rose sur la robe de Betty Hill analysée à plusieurs repris avec des résultats intrigants mais non concluants (des particules métalliques et une substance organique qui n’a pu être identifiée avec certitude).
Mais le fait le plus troublant est une carte stellaire dessinée par Betty Hill sous hypnose reproduisant celle que lui aurait montrée l’un des occupants de l’OVNI, le « leader » selon elle. La carte est censée indiquer le système solaire d’où proviendrait le vaisseau ainsi que plusieurs « routes » spatiales utilisées pour des échanges commerciaux entre différentes civilisations.
Dans un premier temps, les astronomes n’ont pas pris la carte au sérieux. Mais, en 1966, Marjorie Fish, une institutrice et astronome amateur passionnée d’ufologie a reconstitué dans un modèle tridimensionnel bricolé avec des fils et des perles fantaisie la carte de Betty Hill en supposant que l’un des points indiqués était la Terre. Et, après plusieurs tentatives, la jeune femme a fini par déterminer que le système binaire Zeti Reticuli (composé de deux étoiles) correspondait à merveille à la carte dessinée sous hypnose par Betty Hill. Bien sûr, le travail de Marjorie Fish n’a pas fait l’unanimité. Mais elle a aussi reçu le soutien de chercheurs sérieux comme David Saunders, ancien membre « dissident » de la commission scientifique Condon sur les OVNIs, celui-là même qui est remis à l’honneur par la presse anglaise…
LE PSYCHIATRE DE HARVARD JOHN MACK MET SA CARRIÈRE EN PÉRIL EN ÉTUDIANT LES ABDUCTÉS
Depuis, les grandes lignes du scénario de l’enlèvement de Betty et Barney Hill se sont retrouvés dans des milliers de témoignages étudiés par des ufologues plus ou moins sérieux en employant la méthode du psychiatre Benjamin Simon, l’hypnose qui permet de faire émerger les souvenirs refoulés des enlèvements. Budd Hopkins, David Hopkins et surtout John Mack sont les plus célèbres représentants de ce nouveau champ de recherche popularisé en France par Marie-Thérèse de Brosses et, depuis quelques années, par le grand reporter Stéphane Allix. Le Dr. John Mack, décédé en 2004, écrivain et professeur à la Harvard Medical School, a mis sa carrière en danger quand il a commencé à travailler sur ce sujet scabreux. Après avoir entendu des centaines d’abductés supposés, il a conclu que ses patients n’étaient pas psychotiques mais bel et bien victimes d’une forme de stress post-traumatique. Selon lui, leurs récits aussi incroyables qu’ils puissent paraître sont le produit d’une expérience objective dont la nature reste à déterminer.
Malgré les dizaines de livres consacrés à l’abduction de Betty et Barney Hill, ce cas historique n’a guère inspiré les producteurs. Seul un téléfilm tourné en 1975, « The UFO Incident », « La nuit des extraterrestres » en français, assez fidèle au récit des Hill, a été réalisé.
De façon générale, malgré la richesse du matériau, peu de cas ufologiques « authentiques » ont été adaptés au cinéma si l’on excepte le chef d’oeuvre de Spielberg, « Rencontres du 3ème type » dont le scénario, écrit en collaboration avec l’ufologue Alan Hynek, est nourri de témoignages réels.
En 1989, est sorti le film « Communion », avec Christopher Walken, adapté du livre autobiographique de l’écrivain de SF, Whitley Strieber, qui retrace ses expériences avec des entités non-humaines.
« Fire in The Sky » (1993) est l’adaptation d’un autre cas ufologique célèbre, l’enlèvement du bûcheron Travis Walton.
Plus récemment, « Dark Skies », en 2013, relate sur un mode horrifique mais sans grand souci d’exactitude la terreur d’une famille en proie à des tentatives d’enlèvements extraterrestres.
On peut donc espérer que la mise en chantier du film adapté de l’aventure des époux Hill marquera le début d’une union potentiellement prometteuse entre le cinéma et l’ufologie.
« Captured ! », du nom du livre des ufologues Stanton et Kathleen Marden consacré à l’abduction des Hill, sera produit par Bryce Zabel, à l’origine de la franchise « The Maze Runner » (« Le labyrinthe »). Pour le magazine Variety, la femme de Bryce Zabel, la productrice et scénariste Jackie Zabel, souligne les aspects particulièrement intéressants de ce cas: « Les Hill étaient un couple mixte alors que des lois ségrégationnistes étaient encore en vigueur aux Etats-Unis. Ils vivaient à deux pas d’une base militaire qui abritait des armes nucléaires. Ce qu’ils savaient et les raisons pour lesquelles ils ont été visés forment la trame d’un film phénoménal. » C’est tout ce que l’on peut souhaiter…
Les scientifiques de la NASA vont examiner des peintures datant de 10.000 ans, découvertes en Inde. Certains historiens respectés pensent que les hommes des cavernes ont pu réaliser ces dessins, suite à une rencontre avec des aliens. Les énigmatiques images semblent représenter des créatures humanoïdes étranges sans traits sur visage et avec des "scaphandres" et disques volants. Le département d'Etat de l'archéologie et de la culture a demandé à l'Organisation indienne de recherche spatiale et l'agence spatiale américaine de les aider dans cette recherche. L’archéologue indien, JR Bhagat, a déclaré que les disques volants, ayant trois pieds et une antenne en forme d’éventail, ressemblent aux ovnis représentés dans les films modernes.
Il a déclaré : « Les peintures sont réalisées à l’aide de couleurs naturelles, s’étant à peine détérioré au fil des années… On y voit des êtres portant des combinaisons spatiales… Les résultats suggèrent que les humains ont peut-être vu ou imaginé, dans des temps préhistoriques, des êtres en provenance d'autres planètes… Des recherches approfondies sont nécessaires pour plus de résultats... L’Inde ne possède actuellement pas un tel expert qui pourrait offrir des éclaircissements sur le sujet. » La Nasa a suggéré étrangers pourraient vivre sur Mars en ce moment après avoir découvert l'eau courante sur la planète rouge. Pluton et la lune de Jupiter Europa ont également été suggéré que possible ET cachettes. Mais presque la moitié des Britanniques estiment petits hommes verts ont déjà visité la Terre.

On a recent episode of Coast to Coast AM, host George Knapp interviewed Dr. Eric Ouellet, professor of Defense Studies at the Royal Military College of Canada, about the idea of UFOs being poltergeist events. Quellet outlined his new hypothesis, which posits that UFOs could very well be manifestations of psychic forces humans are projecting onto the world around them. The hypothesis is the culmination of years of parapsychological research into poltergeists which shows that there seems to be a pattern to the activity. Ouellet applied this parapsychological methodology to historical waves of UFO activity and discovered notable similarities.
“We may be the ones causing some of the UFO events,” Quellet concluded.
Quellet believes societal discord may have caused humans to manifest these UFOs the same way that emotionally turbulent humans may create poltergeist type events and other psi phenomenon like hauntings. The parapsychologist went further to suggest that throughout human history, a vast number of paranormal sightings may be explainable as psychic projections shared through telepathic means. However, he did not suggest that ET visitations and psi projections are mutually exclusive. Furthermore, Quellet noted the prevalence of electromagnetic fluctuations in many UFO sightings, suggesting that there may be simultaneous extraterrestrial discharges that cause humans to hallucinate and give shape (flying saucers, triangles, etc.) to inchoate energy forms.

Astronomers are freaking out over this newly discovered Earth-sized planet — and for good reason

(Dana Berry) A newly discovered exoplanet has a lot of astronomers excited, and for good reason.
The exoplanet, dubbed GJ 1132b, is about the size of Earth and lives in a solar system roughly 39 light-years from Earth, a team of scientists reported in the November 12, 2015, issue of the journalNature.
Furthermore, the exoplanet is the closest rocky Earth-sized exoplanet ever discovered, by far.
The next closest is about three times farther away.
GJ 1132b's size and distance are what have astronomers like Drake Deming at the University of Maryland — who was not part of the study — saying that this planet is "arguably the most important planet ever found outside the solar system," he told The Guardian.
The reason is because GJ 1132b is close enough for astronomers to point their telescopes at it and sniff out any traces of an atmosphere.
Atmospheric signatures of life
Studying the atmospheres of exoplanets for signs of life is the next big step in the search for extraterrestrial life beyond our solar system.
But it's an extremely difficult project because most Earth-sized planets — the exoplanets that astrobiologists think are most likely to harbor life — are too distant to study in any detail.
One of the ways astronomers determine the chemical composition of gases on planets in our own solar system is by studying the light passing through their atmospheric layers, like Earth's shown in the photo below with our crescent moon in the foreground:
Thomson Reuters) Chemical compounds and molecules interact differently with different energies of light, and, as a result, each molecule leaves a unique fingerprint that scientists can see when they map out the light over what is called a spectrum.
But when an object is hundreds of light-years away, it's nearly impossible to differentiate the light that's passing through an exoplanet's atmosphere from the light that's emanating from the larger, brighter host star.
A significant stepping stone
Now, GJ 1132b has changed that, offering astronomers a perfect specimen to test their instruments and methods for detecting life.
(NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center) "It's nearby, it's Earth-like, and its star won't interfere," Deming told The Guardian.
This newly discovered exoplanet is, however, just a stepping stone.
The possibility of finding life on it is practically zero. GJ 1132b might be only 16% larger than Earth, but it's surface temperature is a balmy 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
"Our ultimate goal is to find a twin Earth, but along the way we've found a twin Venus," David Charbonneau, a co-author on the new paper and an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said in a press release. "We suspect it will have a Venus-like atmosphere, too, and if it does we can't wait to get a whiff."
The reason for these toasty temperatures is because GJ 1132b sits just 1.4 million miles from its host star — 26 times closer than Mercury is to our sun.
It takes just 1.6 days for GJ 1132b to complete a single orbit around its star, which is very different from our sun.
The most common star in the galaxy
The star is what is called a red dwarf, which astronomers suspect is the most common star throughout our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
Red-dwarf stars are cooler, smaller, and dimmer than our sun. The one that GJ 1132b is orbiting is about one-fifth the size of our sun and only emits about 1/200th the amount of light.

Just because they're different from our sun, however, doesn't mean life couldn't spawn around them. It just means that the habitable zone — the region in space where liquid water could exist on a planet's surface — is closer to the star than it is for our sun.
Some astronomers estimate that red-dwarf stars comprise 75% of all stars in the galaxy. This means that most of the exoplanets in our galaxy are likely orbiting red-dwarfs.
Whether any of those planets are habitable, however, is a subject of intense debate, which is why the discovery of GJ 1132b is so exciting. And while GJ 1132b is not likely habitable, it's possible that it has some neighbors that are.
To first spot GJ 1132b as it passed in front of the star, scientists used the MEarth-South array, a group of telescopes at the Cerro-Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile.
Now that they know it's there, the researchers have requested time on the Hubble Space Telescope (which observes the same type of light we see with our eyes) and the Spitzer Space Telescope (which observes longer wavelengths than Hubble, in the infrared range) to study GJ 1132b more fully.
With the viewing powers of Hubble and Spitzer combined, the scientists could get a much broader spectrum of light to study even more chemical compounds than they otherwise would with just one of the telescopes.
La théorie n'est pas nouvelle mais, depuis quelques mois, les indices s'accumulent. Le manteau terrestre pourrait bien abriter un gigantesque réservoir d'eau, jusqu'à trois fois plus vaste que l'ensemble des océans de notre belle planète bleue. Tout a commencé en mars dernier avec l'annonce de la découverte d'un diamant marron sans grande valeur marchande mais suffisamment spécial pour mériter une publication dans la revue Nature. En effet, après avoir étudié sous toutes les coutures ce caillou des profondeurs ramené à la surface par un volcan brésilien, une équipe scientifique dirigée par Graham Pearson, de l'université d'Alberta au Canada, y a décelé la toute première inclusion naturelle de ringwoodite d'origine terrestre. Un minéral que l'on avait jusqu'ici retrouvé dans des météorites et produit en laboratoire, mais dont on ne faisait que soupçonner très vivement la présence dans les profondeurs de la Terre.
Pourquoi cette intuition ? Parce que la ringwoodite n'est rien d'autre que de l'olivine - le principal minéral du manteau terrestre - soumise à des conditions de température et de pression élevées telles que celles qui s'exercent entre environ 520 et 660 kilomètres de profondeur en direction du centre de la Terre, dans une sorte de zone de transition entre le manteau supérieur et le manteau inférieur de la planète. Or, la particularité remarquable de cette ringwoodite est qu'elle tend naturellement à piéger l'eau en son sein, non à l'état de liquide, de gaz ou de glace, mais sous la forme d'ions hydroxydes. D'ailleurs, après analyse de leur précieux échantillon, les chercheurs ont confirmé que celui-ci contenait bien environ 1,5 % d'eau. Autrement dit, même si ce pourcentage ne peut en aucun cas être généralisé, cela démontrait premièrement qu'il y avait bien quelque part de la ringwoodite dans le manteau terrestre et, deuxièmement, que celle-ci pouvait contenir une quantité d'eau significative. L'hypothèse d'un réservoir d'eau gigantesque dans le manteau terrestre en sortait donc considérablement renforcée...
Ondes sismiques et roches humides
Forte de ce résultat, une autre équipe de chercheurs américains, conduite par Steven Jacobsen de l'université Northwestern de l'Illinois et Brandon Schmandt de l'université du Nouveau-Mexique, a tenté à son tour d'éclairer la question en étudiant le comportement des ondes sismiques qui font sonner la Terre comme une cloche, pendant plusieurs jours, après un tremblement de terre. Car lorsque ces ondes rencontrent des roches humides, elles ralentissent, et c'est là quelque chose que les scientifiques savent mesurer. Mais quel rapport avec l'eau piégée dans la ringwoodite puisque celle-ci n'est pas sous la forme liquide ? C'est que, grâce à des expérimentations menées en laboratoire, Steven Jacobsen est préalablement parvenu à montrer que, dans des conditions de pression et de température comparables à celles qui s'exercent à la limite entre la zone de transition et le manteau inférieur de la Terre, la fameuse roche est contrainte de restituer l'ensemble de son eau.
C'est donc là, à environ 700 kilomètres de profondeur, que se situerait ce qui pourrait être la plus grande réserve d'eau de la planète. Et, après une analyse minutieuse des données recueillies par EarthScope USArray - un réseau de 2 000 sismographes répartis sur le sol des États-Unis - lors de 500 tremblements de terre, les chercheurs en sont convaincus. Les enregistrements semblent bien corroborer cette idée (article paru dans la revue Science). Grâce à ces recherches, les scientifiques espèrent maintenant parvenir à mieux comprendre le cycle de l'eau sur notre planète mais aussi comment se sont formés nos océans. Toute l'eau de la Terre, si nécessaire à la vie, pourrait bien ne pas provenir uniquement des comètes...

Researchers at the Bosnian Pyramid complex have discovered a second level of tunnels located below the underground labyrinth.
Dr Osmanagic, the principal Investigator and discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids has discovered the entrance to a second level of tunnels which are located below the Underground Labyrinth of Ravne in Visoko, Bosnia-Herzegovina in September 2015. The set of complex tunnels was discovered twenty meters below the existing first level of tunnels what have been excavated for nearly ten years.
According to reports from Bosnia and Herzegovina, then newly found entrance shows nearly identical materials to those found at the Ravne labyrinth: River conglomerate.
The second level of tunnels or “Ravne 2” as it has been called by Dr Osmanagic are sealed off just as the Ravne tunnels. The material used to fill the tunnels is identical to that found in the upper levels of the labyrinth. According to research, the energy properties of the Underground Labyrinth are identical to those recorded on the pyramids of Visoko which has led researchers to believe there is a strong relationship between the two.
According to Dr Osmanagic and his team, over 1.7 kilometers of the labyrinth have been cleared so far but the journey to clear out the entire tunnel complex will surely take more time.
According to reports from Visoko, the discovery of the second level of tunnels have given the Bosnian Pyramid complex a whole other dimension. Researchers believe that vertical tunnels could have been constructed in the past in order to connect both levels. Wit winter approaching quickly, the team plans to start excavations by Spring 2016.
We look forward to see what mysteries the newly found tunnels will uncover and we are sure that with the newly found tunnels, interest in the Bosnian Pyramid will rise more than ever.

According to researchers around the world and the Head of Anthropology at the American University in Bosnia-Herzegovina Dr. Semir Osmanagić, Ph.D. The Bosnian Pyramids located near the town of Visoko, northwest of Sarajevo are the oldest man-made Pyramids that have been discovered on our Planet. Dr. Semir Osmanagić and his team have spent over 340.000 man-hours in archaeological excavation, sample testing and radiocarbon dating in the period from 2005 to 2013. The Pyramid of the Sun, with its 220 meters height, exceeds the Great Pyramid of Egypt, which measures 147 meters (height). But what we find mind-blowing is the fact that the Pyramid’s orientation to the North is accurate with an error of 0 degrees, 0 minutes and 12 seconds. Incredible precision, and this is where the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun has an incredible fact in common with the Great Pyramid of Egypt. The great Pyramid of Egypt resides at the intersection of the longest line of latitude and the longest line of longitude, the exact center of all the land mass in the world. Also each of the four sides aligns almost precisely with the four points of the compass. So we have precision in Egypt that is almost equal to precision found in Bosnia. But how can this be? These two ancient civilizations were not connected.
These strange geometrical shapes were first sighted in 2005 when Dr. Osmanagić traveled to the town of Visoko, and these strange-looking hills caught his attention, when you actually travel to the area, these geometrical shapes clearly stand out from the rest and our very difficult to miss.

Er is iets vreemds aan de hand in de lucht boven een Spaanse stad. Tot twee keer toe is er een mysterieus bolvormig object met een gewicht van zo’n 20 kilo uit de lucht gevallen boven Calasparra, een gemeente met 9700 inwoners.
Op 3 november viel een enorme metalen bol op een geitenboerderij. Op 8 november stortte er nog een bol op de aarde, dit keer in het dorpje Villavieja, op een steenworp afstand van Calasparra.
Het gebied waar de objecten zijn neergekomen is afgesloten en wordt bewaakt. Burgemeester van Calasparra José Vélez wil dat de autoriteiten antwoord geven op vragen van bezorgde burgers. “Waar komen deze objecten vandaan?” vroeg hij. “Waarom komen ze precies hier neer? Kunnen we nog meer objecten verwachten? En wat gebeurt er als deze bollen in een dichtbevolkt gebied neerkomen?”
Vélez vindt dat de Spaanse overheid veel te weinig informatie geeft. “Burgers zijn bezorgd over wat er gaande is en hebben recht op een verklaring,” zei hij.
Toen de eerste bol werd ontdekt, maakte een boer melding van zeven of acht vuurbollen, dus het is goed mogelijk dat er nog meer van deze vreemde objecten ontdekt gaan worden. Hulpdiensten hebben bevestigd dat het tweede object erg lijkt op het eerste en een doorsnee heeft van zo’n 80 centimeter.
De bollen zijn vermoedelijk onderdeel geweest van een oude ruimteraket. De Europese ruimtevaartorganisatie ESA waarschuwde dat rond 14 november ruimtepuin op de aarde zou kunnen vallen. Er zweven naar schatting 16.000 objecten rond in de ruimte die satellieten kunnen beschadigen of vernietigen.

UFO Mystery Deepens In Antarctic As Researchers Discover Tanks In Alleged Alien Crash Site
The discovery of a crash site and wreckage of an extraterrestrial ship, which thought to have been downed in the Antarctic, had made headlines earlier this year. Valentin Degterev from Nizhny Tagil City in central Russia, says he found the unidentified ground object (UGO) using Google Earth online.
But fellow researchers have dug out satellite images of the same spot, just off Willy Field Road, which were captured in April and December 2011.
Researchers believe they found photos that show four tanks in a line facing the mysterious crack in the snow on Google Earth – as if a flying object has skidded to a halt after making an emergency landing.
Mr Degterev is convinced the large unidentified object must have been the result of a UFO crash at least three years ago as it is still half buried in the ice of Antarctica. He says that it is the realest UFO in its most classic shape in the endless ice desert.

The topic of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), alongside the extraterrestrial hypothesis being one of multiple explanations for their appearance (which seems to be quite a common phenomenon), is an area of interest for many people that’s continually growing, and for good reasons. This is in large part due to the fact that we now have hundreds of credible witnesses that have officially testified to the reality of an extraterrestrial presence, and its relation to the already disclosed UFO ‘problem.’
This is why members of government, like John Podesta, Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton, Counsellor to Barack Obama and head of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign before she dropped out, stated that “the time to pull the curtain back on this subject is long overdue. We have statements from the most credible sources, those in a position to know, about a fascinating phenomenon, the nature of which is yet to be determined.” (You can find sources for this quote, and other statements made by Podesta on this matter in this article we published in February about him.)
“As the F-4 approached a range of 25 nautical miles it lost all instrumentation and communications. When the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it, the aircraft regained all instrumentation and communications. Another brightly lighted object came out of the original object. Why It’s Time To Listen To Contactees, Abductees & Experiencers/ A Psychological Standpoint
Just to clarify, ‘contactees’ are usually those who have reported ‘friendly’ contact experiences with extraterrestrials, ‘abductees’ are those who have had what they perceive to be fearful experiences, and experiencers are those who neither view the experience as ‘good’ or ‘bad,” but simply just an experience. It’s important to note this, because various people have reported different types of experiences with different types of beings.

The reality is that some people who claim to have had contact with intelligent extraterrestrial beings actually have.
John Mack, A Harvard professor, psychiatrist and Pulitzer Price recipient stresses that:
“Yes, it’s both. It’s both literally, physically happening to a degree; and it’s also some kind of psychological, spiritual experience occurring and originating perhaps in another dimension. And so the phenomenon stretches us, or it asks us to stretch to open to realities that are not simply the literal physical world, but to extend to the possibility that there are other unseen realities from which our consciousness, our, if you will, learning processes over the past several hundred years have closed us off.” (source)
We published an article earlier this year regarding John Mack, and more than 60 school children witnessing non-human beings and a large craft landing. The children were interviewed by him, and it was quite a remarkable story with all of the children providing very similiar stories. Until this day these children have been speaking of it, an event occurred more than 20 years ago….

According to retired McGill University professor in the Department of Psychology (research areas beings cognition and cognitive Neuroscience), Dr. Don Donderi:
“Some of what people report as UFOs are extraterrestrial (ET) vehicles. Some of those extraterrestrial vehicles actually have ET crews, and some of those ET crews catch and release humans.” (source)
Academicians like these, and others like Richard Dolan, David M. Jacobs and more have been studying this phenomena for decades, and the reports of beings and examining why they are here, what they are doing, what they look like and more has been documented by their (and others) research.
What I find most fascinating about these stories is how many of them seem to compliment each other instead of contradicting each other, which just adds to the mystery.
As far as physical research goes:
“There are a great many photographs of such body marks, many of which are in an equilateral triangle pattern of red dots on the wrist or near the ankle. Also common are scoop marks,” in which it appears as if a small amount of tissue was removed from beneath the skin, leaving an indentation.” -Richard Dolan (taken from his book, UFOs for the 21st century mind)
Below is a clip of Dr. Roger Leir. a doctor of podiatric medicine, and arguably the best known individual with regards to extracting alleged alien implants. He has performed more than fifteen surgeries that removed sixteen separate distinct objects. These objects have been investigated by several prestigious laboratories, including Los Alamos National Laboratories, New Mexico Tech, and many others. Unfortunately, he passed away in March 2014, but his legacy lives on.
Truth is, as former NASA astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor puts it, “there is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a vary long time.” (source)
**The information below is a very brief summary of a few of the most commonly reported extraterrestrials based on all of the research I’ve done on this subject.
Human Looking Extraterrestrials
Extraterrestrials with features drastically similar to human beings have reported by contactees, abductees and experiencers for a long time. This type of experience is actually quite common. Many people have reported that they’ve been taken into ships, and warned about the direction the human race is heading. They’re also often portrayed as assisting our planet in various ways, both on a physical level and an energetic one.

There have also been reports of human looking extraterrestrials working with humans inside of what’s known as the military industrial complex with regards to making technological advancements. This is why in the highly classified world, the black budget world, it’s probably the independent government contractors that are working in these areas.
Stories of human like extraterrestrials date from the beginning of time all the way up to the present day, and historical literature is littered with accounts of these types of encounters.

As far as the picture above, I am not sure if it’s real or fake, but that’s not the point. It was used to spark your imagination, it is supposedly one of the extraterrestrials that was discovered dead inside of a ship that was located on the moon – retrieved from one of the Apollo missions.
Other common looks are tall, muscular with long hair, blue eyes and blond hair. The same type of figure has also been reported with black and white beings. Some reports have detailed beings with blue skin, larger eyes, as well as shorter beings, with a little more ’round’ of a head. There seems to be a large variation, some know asand the possibility of several different looking human-like extraterrestrial beings. This raises some very interesting questions regarding the origin of our species, if the humanoid form is common throughout the universe, what does that mean?

Contanctee’s commonly refer to these beings being from various star systems like Arcturus, Sirius, Andromeda and the Pleiades, just to name a few.
Cat/bird like humanoid (like above) beings are also fairly common among supposed encounters.

The grey alien is another very common type of extraterrestrial that’s been reported by several abductees, contactees and experiencers. Reports range from small, three to four feet tall beings all the way up to seven to nine foot tall beings and everything in between.
One of the most common types of experiences among several abductees is one in which they have their sperm or eggs extracted. Many have gone through what seems to be a pretty scary experience, despite the fact that multiple times people have reported the beings communicating to them and trying to calm them down, and tell the person that they weren’t going to cause any harm to them. At other times, forceful abduction goes without any communication. Many abductee’s report being impregnated, and then abducted years after to see their hybrid child. This seems to be a very common experience, and suggests that this race (Greys) are creating a human/grey hybrid race, or have been tinkering with the DNA of human beings for quite some time. Many researchers have suggested that these hybrids are already here, and that many babies being born today could have ‘tinkered’ with. There have also been sightings of Grey like beings taking vegetation from our planet (perhaps’s to study, alien scientists?).
There have also been reports of woman being impregnated by a supposed extraterrestrial or extraterrestrial/human hybrid. Shortly after the experience the women are taken by ‘government’ agencies and the baby is removed and taken away to be studied by them. It’s not uncommon for these people who have had these experiences to get visits by these unknown people who seem to want to know more about the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon.
There are some reports of races like these working with certain governments (or ‘shadow governments’) in a technological exchange program. I have come across stories in my research where some groups of beings warn the human race not work with other groups of beings. These stories are endless, and quite fascinating, but I’ll save that for another article.
Reptilians
The ‘Reptilian’ type being is one that’s been reported and depicted in various human cultures that date back thousands of years all the way up to the present day. These beings have been reported as ‘friendly,’not so friendly and in between. That’s a common theme throughout most supposed extraterrestrial species. The fact that two different beings of the same race can be reported as benevolent and the other as malevolent.
Many people seem to believe that reptilian type beings are one (out of many) working behind the scenes with those who control the government to ‘en-slave’ the human race. Some even believe that that the global elite are in large part reptilian in origin.
To be honest, it’s not that far fetched. After researching this topic in depth for almost a decade, there is no doubt in my mind that not only have governments and ‘shadow governments’ become aware of the extraterrestrial presence, but they’ve interacted with several different groups of extraterrestrials.
It’s Ok To Ask These Questions
Just to re-emphasize that things like this need to be discussed more, because they are and have been discussed at the highest levels of government, in secret, for almost one hundred years. For example, thisparticular FBI document was addressed to “certain scientists of distinction,” to “aeronautical and military authorities,” and to “a number of public officials.”
The document is a letter that was sent to the director of FBI in Washington from the San Fransisco office, on a matter pertaining to UFOs & extraterrestrials:
“Lt. Colonel (name redacted) of G2 [G2 means army intelligence], San Francisco advised today he has no further information, and that our Seattle office is in possession of all information known by him and is handling the matter at Tacoma, Washington.”
The document goes on to provide a copy of a letter written by someone with “several university degrees” and a former “university department head.”
The memorandum also states that “the mere fact that the data herein were obtained by so-called ‘supernormal’ means is probably sufficient to insure its disregard by nearly all persons addressed.”
Key words above – the fact that they would like to “insure its disregard” by “nearly” everyone addressed.Does this mean that ‘some’ of the people addressed should not disregard it?
The letter goes on to outline and state that: (pages 21 & 22)
Part of the disks carry crews, others are under remote control.
Their mission is peaceful, the visitors contemplate settling on this planet.
These visitors are human-like but much larger in size.
They are not excarnate Earth people, but come from their own world
The disks posses some type of radiant energy.
They do not come from any “planet” as we use the word, but from an etheric planet which interpenetrates with our own and is not perceptible to us.
The bodies of the visitors, and the craft also, automatically materialize on entering the vibratory rate of our dense matter.
They re-enter the etheric at will, and so simply disappear from our vision, without trace.
The region they come from is NOT the astral plane, but corresponds to the Lakas or Talas. Students of esoteric matters will understand these terms
Please keep in mind that there are probably many different types of extraterrestrials out there, and many different kinds that have interacted with humanity in some way. The above document is probably referring to one specific race? I don’t know.
This is one out of thousands of examples of documents, and it’s not even one that I would pick as most startling. We should definitely be thinking about why these documents were concealed from the public for decades, and think about what other information still lay dormant inside of the military industrial complex when it comes to extraterrestrial beings.

I announced to Captain Curt Olsen and flight engineer Mike Littlepage to ‘watch this guy!’” All eyes were on deck watching what became known as and referred to as ‘The Lights’. Both pilots went onto the control yokes to avoid collision. The lights hung at a 45 degree angle downslope left to right.The pilots did not file a UFO report when asked if they had wanted to when talking with the Boston air traffic control center. Even-though it was confirmed by the control center that there was no traffic near the plane the pilots decided to let this go to avoid filing out paperwork. Ralph says that they should have “been closing in on this strange target if it was standing still, and Mike remembers the lights getting closer.” He also recalls bringing the Navigator and Third Pilot up from the gallery to point this out. Over the past forty plus years, details become grained and blurred but one thing remains a constant which is that night over Nova Scotia, many people in flight and on ground witnessed ‘The Lights.’

The U.S. Navy and the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) both have released a photo of the actual Trident II D-5 ballistic missile which was secretly launched from the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, the USS Kentucky, on the 7th of November, causing fear and panic among thousands of West Coasters, some of whom cried alien invasion.
The launch was an unannounced night-time test at the Pacific Test Range and as Tyler over at Foxtrot Alpha explained: “most people go about their lives in Los Angeles with no idea that some of the world’s premier military operating areas lay not far off of their coast”. Photos and posts with the hashtag #UFO flooded all the social media platforms on Saturday night, and it took quite a long time for the Navy to come out with a statement about the “scheduled Trident II (D5) missile test flight”. (No wonder that Washington Post asked: Why test-fire a missile within sight of the nation’s second-largest city, terrifying thousands?)
Anyhow, thanks to the event, we have seen dozens of amazing photos and footage (which keeps coming) of the beautiful glowing blue trail of the missile:
So actually the 156th successful test flight of an unarmed Trident II D5 missile, was part of a Demonstration and Shakedown Operation (DASO) in the Pacific Test Range to validate the readiness and effectiveness of an ballistic missile submarine’s crew and weapon system. As USSTRATCOM said later:
Strategic weapons tests, along with exercises and operations, demonstrate the readiness of the nation’s nuclear triad, assuring America’s allies and deterring potential adversaries. One of nine DoD unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global strategic missions, assigned through the Unified Command Plan, which include strategic deterrence; space operations; cyberspace operations; joint electronic warfare; global strike; missile defense; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; combating weapons of mass destruction; and analysis and targeting.
