A UFO That Becomes Three Baffles A Utah Witness At Salt Lake City
A black, disc-shaped object was spotted splitting into three objects, moving back as one, and flying out of sight quickly, according to a witness in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The witness, 37, was with his sister, 24, brother, 27, and two sons, ages 8 and 10, driving along the I-15 south of Salt Lake City on August 11, 2016, at 9:20 pm when the sighting took place.
The reporting witness stated he was the first to see the flying black object, which appeared to be around three miles away, and approximately 1,500 feet off the ground. The UFO thing was initially a joke as he told his boys to look what he just noticed.
His adult companions thought the thing was just a cloud. He initially agreed as he was just trying to trick the boys when he referred it a UFO. While still thinking it may be a cloud, he decided to begin snapping some photos.
According to the witness, the photos were in low quality as he was just using his cell phone while zooming to the max at a time when it was a little past sunset. After taking multiple photos, he was shocked to see there were already three black classic UFO-shaped objects. Moments later, he saw two and then one again. The witness said that he did not notice them separate or come back together, wondering how they became three and then one.
The reporting witness then observed it picked up speed towards the north, heading to Ogden. Just a few seconds, it disappeared. His brother estimated the object to be approximately 500 yards across and around half that tall.
According to the reporting witness, they were not excited about what they were watching at first, but slowly realized it wasn’t a cloud when they saw three horizontally and evenly spaced apart around six hundred yards. He added that they saw no light on the objects, just black.
He then reported their sighting to Mutual UFO Network and his testimony along with the photos was filed in Case 78355. Utah MUFON investigators are still investigating the case.

What a strange night! My wife is coming home tonight after spending seventeen days in Europe with her brother and sister. Her airplane doesn’t land until 11:20 pm so I thought I would get some UFO hunting in even though it was really windy. I left the camcorder inside and only took the night vision camera out because it does much better than the camcorder in windy conditions. I was filming numerous lights over at Nellis Air Force Base when all of a sudden I noticed some bright lights over in Henderson. As a matter of fact it was the same spot I filmed last night. This time, all I had was the night vision camera and what it caught was astonishing. I captured four UFOs in a bunch that were moving slowly to the left and moving around each other. This was extremely exciting for me because I don’t really have any night vision footage like this from that location. There is also a lot of regular air traffic which includes airplanes and helicopters but the UFOs will be easy for you to spot. I truly believe this video cannot be debunked.
Social media users on Facebook have been offering wild speculations after a UFO sighting video was posted to the popular social networking website. The footage shows an unidentified flying object moving strangely across the sky during a lightning storm and while wind funnel whipped through the storm.
While the storm brings havoc to the residents nearby, a UFO suddenly appeared at the bottom of the video frame moving across the sky as a bolt of lightning rages the area.
However, the origin of the footage is yet to be known. Still, many social media users giving speculations about the identity of the UFO after the clip was shared thousands of times. Puzzled viewers have speculated it could have been an aircraft, but some are convinced it was an alien spacecraft. Others suggested it might be just a bird.
The latest footage of mysterious UFO surfaced just a few days a UFO of about the same size of a car was caught on camera as it hovered above a family home in Cheshire.
A father-of-four Chris Henry caught on video a black object above the sky in Manchester. He recorded the video while waiting for his friend to arrive and pick him up from his Macclesfield home.
A Star Trek shaped UFO spotted flying in the sky above Yorkshire moorland. A family claimed to have snapped a photo of a dark gray object that seems to have a halo around it. Nicole Smith, 19, used her smartphone to capture pictures of the scenery during a family outing in Bronte waterfalls in West Yorkshire.
Nicole was with her parents Catherine and Shane when she accidentally caught the UFO on one of her photos. Catherine, 49, said that the family went for a day out in Haworth and decided to travel to the moor and stopover near a footpath leading to the waterfalls.
From where the car was parked, it was approximately two and a half mile walk.
On their way back from the falls, Nicole was snapping random photos of the scenery and sheep at around 5:30 p.m. using her mobile phone.
It was only when they were home Nicole noticed the strange object in the picture as she was scanning through the photos.
American optical physicist Bruce Maccabee, formerly employed by the U.S. Navy and now a leading UFOlogist, said that the image is tiny to get a good resolution.
The fact that it wasn’t seen at the time of capture, no information on distance can be obtained. Maccabee suspects that it could be some insect within ten feet from the camera.
Philip Mantle, former British UFO Research Association director, saw no evidence of any tampering or fakery of the photo. However, the object could be something very small that is too close to the camera lens because it has a type of halo around it.
Considering the location where the photo was taken, Mantle thinks the object could be a grass pollen or a bug.

New research into the ratio of elements in Earth's mantle suggests that the planet's carbon might have come from a collision with a planet embryo around 4.4 billion years ago.

The early Earth could have been hit by a Mercury-like planet embryo deep in its past, letting the planet keep hold of the carbon necessary for life, a new study suggests.
The Experimental Petrology Rice Team — who study the origin, composition and structure of rocks at Rice University in Texas — re-created conditions inside Earth in the lab to help solve a long-standing mystery: how carbon-based life could have developed on Earth when early carbon would have boiled away or sunk to the planet's core.
"The challenge is to explain the origin of the volatile elements like carbon that remain outside the core in the mantle portion of our planet," Rajdeep Dasgupta, a co-author on the new study and petrologist at Rice, said in a statement. [What Is Earth Made Of?]
Dasgupta's group previously investigated how carbon would have fared on the early, molten Earth: Even if the carbon didn't vaporize into space, it would have been drawn into the metallic core after bonding with iron-rich alloys,Dasgupta said.
How Earth's merger with a potentially Mercury-like planetary embryo might have transferred carbon and sulfur to Earth's mantle.

Researchers have postulated that carbon and other elements now present on Earth came from meteorites or comets hitting the planet.
"One popular idea has been that volatile elements like carbon, sulfur, nitrogen and hydrogen were added after Earth's core finished forming," the study's lead author, Yuan Li, now a staff scientist at Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, said in the statement. "Any of those elements that fell to Earth in meteorites and comets more than about 100 million years after the solar system formed could have avoided the intense heat of the magma ocean that covered Earth up to that point.
But the real-life proportions of elements on Earth don't seem to match up with comets and meteorites: "The problem with that idea is that while it can account for the abundance of many of these elements, there are no known meteorites that would produce the ratio of volatile elements in the silicate portion of our planet," he added, referring to a main component of rocks in Earth's mantle, the 1,800-mile-deep (2,890 kilometers) soup of magma and rock between the crust and core.
The researchers' experimental setup re-created the high-temperature and high-pressure interior of Earth by squeezing rocks with hydraulic presses. This method can emulate conditions about 250 miles (400 km) below Earth's surface, in the planet's mantle. The investigators decided to test whether the elements silicon or sulfur — found in the cores of Mercury and Mars, respectively — had any impact on the amount of carbon that would be bound up within Earth's core.
The scientists found that when sulfur bonded with iron under intense pressure — like that in Earth's core — it kept carbon from bonding with the molecules in the core as strongly, the researchers said in the statement. (In the paper,published in the journal Nature Geoscience on Sept. 5, the scientists said that "in reduced or sulfur-rich bodies, carbon is expelled from the segregating core.") In that scenario, the carbon could remain higher up, in Earth's mantle, and be available later on for the development of life instead of being locked away, the study said.
The researchers then compared the concentrations of carbon that emerged during the experiments with the concentrations of elements in Earth's actual mantle.
"One scenario that explains the carbon-to-sulfur ratio and carbon abundance is that an embryonic planet like Mercury, which had already formed a silicon-rich core, collided with and was absorbed by Earth," Dasgupta said. "Because it's a massive body, the dynamics could work in a way that the core of that planet would go directly to the core of our planet, and the carbon-rich mantle would mix with Earth's mantle.
"In this paper, we focused on carbon and sulfur," he said. "Much more work will need to be done to reconcile all of the volatile elements, but at least in terms of the carbon-sulfur abundances and the carbon-sulfur ratio, we find this scenario could explain Earth's present carbon and sulfur budgets."

A Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo space plane took to the air under the wing of its massive mothership Thursday (Sept. 8), marking the first flight test for the private space travel company since a tragic accident in 2014.
Virgin Galactic's second SpaceShipTwo spacecraft, the Virgin Spaceship Unity, soared over Mojave, California, in a captive carry test flight with its WhiteKnightTwo carrier aircraft, the Virgin Mother Ship Eve. Although the Unity spacecraft remained attached to its carrier plane for the entire flight, the test did mark Virgin Galactic's first return to airborne trials of SpaceShipTwo since the company's first spacecraft — the VSS Enterprise — broke apart during a rocket-powered test on Oct. 31, 2014.
"Yesterday's flight was a culmination of years of hard work by our dedicated team, past and present, to build a company and build a beautiful spaceship," Virgin Galactic's billionaire founder Sir Richard Branson said in a statement today (Sept. 9). "Our tireless and dedicated team makes me so proud: Their commitment to the program, to safety, to our founding astronauts, and to our vision to open access to space led us to this first flight test." Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo vehicles are designed to carry two pilots and six passengers on launches into suborbital space. The spacecraft cannot orbit the Earth, but it's expected to provide passengers several minutes of weightlessness and expansive views of the Earth from space before re-entering the atmosphere and gliding to a runway landing. Virgin Galactic is selling tickets for the experience at $250,000 per seat.

Thursday's test flight took off from the Mojave Air and Space Port, with the VMS Eve carrying the VSS Unity to an altitude of about 50,000 feet (15,000 meters). That's the target altitude for the separation between a carrier plane and SpaceShipTwo during an actual launch. From takeoff to landing, the test flight lasted 3 hours and 43 minutes.
"Today's flight test is going well," Virgin Galacticrepresentatives wrote on Twitter during the flight. "It'll be longer than a typical mission, in part to test what happens when Unity gets very cold."
The test flight also marked another milestone for Virgin Galactic, Branson added.
"Any time a new vehicle is tested in the air is a big deal," Branson wrote. "The significance of yesterday's flight is that it is the first flight of a spaceship built entirely by The Spaceship Company and operated by Virgin Galactic."
Virgin Galactic unveiled the VSS Unity spacecraftearlier this year, on Feb. 19. The spacecraft was already under construction by The Spaceship Company — a Mojave, California-based subsidiary of Virgin Galactic — at the time of the October 2014 accident.
The Enterprise was in the midst of a rocket-powered test flight when it broke apart over the Mojave Desert, killing co-pilot Michael Alsbury and seriously injuring pilot Peter Siebold. An investigation into the crash by the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board found that Alsbury deployed the space plane's "feathering" re-entry system — twin tail booms designed to rotate upward during descent to increase drag and stability — too early. Virgin Galactic and The Spaceship Company subsequently built new safeguards into VSS Unity to prevent the type of accident that doomed Enterprise.

The memory of that 2014 accident seemed to be fresh on the collective mind of the Virgin Galactic team, based on the company's statements.
"Today's an emotional day for us all. So grateful to our families, customers, & friends for sticking with us," Virgin Galactic representatives wrote on Twitter Thursday afternoon. "Couldn't open space without you."
According to Virgin Galactic, Thursday's captive carry test flight is the first in a rigorous series of upcoming trials for VSS Unity. But the company stressed that it will only move forward after a thorough analysis of this week's test.
"With this flight in the books, our team will now analyze a mountain of flight data, learning what worked well and what could be improved for our next flight test," Virgin Galactic representatives wrote. "Only when that analysis is done, along with detailed vehicle inspections, some already-planned work, and potentially more captive carry flights, will we be ready to move into the next phase of test flight."

When the Ministry of Defence announced its decision to axe its UFO department, the Americans quickly stepped in to preserve it.
And Pentagon officials knew just where to site offices for the new programme – neighbouring the UK headquarters of 20th Century Fox, famous for producing the sci-fi classics Alien, Independence Day, The Martian and Star Wars.
Largely funded by US tax dollars, the office established in 2009 boasts a team of mainly American analysts, though it does include a small British contingent, who carry out their clandestine work as tourists outside enjoy the oasis of the square’s park.
Its work is overseen by a US colonel who visits regularly from Washington.
“There was pressure from a similar unit in the Pentagon which wanted to incorporate the MoD unit,” said a serving military source last night.
“It was decided to move the unit to Soho Square and I understand that it now has a number of American personnel,” he added. “The relocation was even accidentally published in the MoD’s magazine, though few noticed.

“The operation took on a new role overseen by the Pentagon. It does, however, report directly to the MoD.”
While X-Files form part of its work, its main purpose is grounded in stark reality: the militarisation of space.
Of particular interest to the US is Project Condign, a highly classified MoD intelligence study of UFOs.
Research by British scientists suggested some UFO sightings might be attributable to atmospheric plasmas and, further, that a better understanding of this might lead to some “novel military applications” including Star Wars-style energy beams.
Nick Pope, who formerly ran the MoD’s UFO project, confirmed that Britain has no evidence of extra-terrestrial life.
But he added: “That’s not to say that we didn’t have some fascinating cases in our files.
“Of around 12,000 sightings that the programme investigated, around five per cent remain unexplained.
And Project Condign would have certainly grabbed the attention of Pentagon officials.
“Atmospheric plasmas may or may not be at least a partial solution to the UFO mystery,” he said.
“The weaponisation aspect of the phenomenon is exactly the sort of thing that might have caught the attention of the US government.
“When the MoD's UFO project was axed in 2009 a much more narrowly focused research effort may have taken its place, following up on Project Condign's recommendations that further work should be done on the potential for novel military applications.
“An office undertaking such work might be regarded as sufficiently different from what went on before to avoid counting as misleading parliament, as it could be regarded as a new, standalone initiative.”
Liz Quintana, director of military sciences at the Royal United Services think tank said: “Britain has maintained its interest in space and the issue of UFOs and it would not surprise me if the UK and US had an office here.
“Space is becoming increasingly contested and congested. Some of this is peaceful, some of it has dual use and some distinctly nefarious. Russia and China particularly are active.”
Asked about the unit at 7 Soho Square, a spokesman at the Ministry of Defence said: “We don’t discuss individual units.”

Prince Phillip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, is best known for his constant and embarrassing public gaffes and being worshipped as a god on a small island in the South Pacific. Other than that, the public does not know a great deal about the Queen’s Consort who is very much a private figure. However, interesting news has emerged about the prince’s hinterland. Apparently, he is obsessed with UFOs and extra-terrestrial life.

The prince has a subscriber of several UFO magazines for many years. The proprietor of Flying Saucer Magazine has made the claim that he has counted Prince Phillip as a customer since the 1950s. His subscription began around the same time that there was such an upsurge in UFO sightings across the world that the former Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, set up an inquiry into the phenomenon. In addition to reading voraciously about UFO’s, the Prince apparently has a map of UFO sightings pinned on his wall in his lavish home at Buckingham Palace.
There have been rumours that the prince has sought out personal meetings with people who claim to have seen UFOs and met aliens but the meetings have been derailed and cancelled for fear that they would cause embarrassment to the British Royal Family. Now it appears that the prince is so ravenous for information about extra-terrestrial life that he has even requested access to Ministry of Defence files about close encounters with aliens, which are classified as top secret.
According to the prince’s former aide, Peter Horsley, aliens are interested in the prince as well. He claims that he had his encounter with an extra-terrestrial being who referred to himself as Mr Janus. The otherworldly creature expressed his interest in meeting Prince Phillip, referring to him as ‘a man of great vision’.

Stephen Hawking has made some very interesting comments regarding the future of humanity. In fact, the world-renowned researcher has spoken about God, Aliens, our place in the universe and how the 21st century will be a milestone in space exploration.
Among the numerous subjects discussed in public, Professor Hawking has spoken out about God, our place in the universe, our goals as a civilization and the general future that awaits mankind.
Interestingly, Stephen Hawking has even spoken out about aliens saying that alien life is real, and humans should refrain from making contact.
The world-renowned scientists stated that there are around 100 billion galaxies in the universe, and each one contains MILLIONS of stars. Taking this into account, it is VERY unlikely that Earth is the only place in the VAST universe where life has evolved. Making contact with Advanced Alien beings may be catastrophic for our civilization.
Speaking about God, Stephen Hawking also said that God did not create the universe and the “Big Bang” was the inevitable consequence of the laws of physics.
In “The Grand Design”, which was co-written with American physicist Leonard Mlodinow, Hawking says according to a new series of theories, it is superfluous to think of a creator of the universe.
“The universe began with the Big Bang, which simply followed the inevitable law of physics,” Hawking writes. “Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist.
However, Professor Hawking also said that he expects mankind to go far in the near future.
In fact, Hawking predicts that in the next fifty years, we should be living on the Moon and by the end of this century, we are most likely going to be settling on Mars.
Professor Hawking argued that the 21st century will be a milestone in space exploration.
“In 50 years we will have created bases and homes on the Moon. The same will happen on Mars by the end of the century,”says Hawking, who believes that if we fail to colonize other planets, humanity will be in danger of extinction.
“Our planet is an old world that is threatened by the continued human population growth and the depletion of the Earth’s resources.”
“We must take account of these factors and make up a plan B. If we want to survive the next hundred years, even if not talking about the next thousand years, it is imperative to colonize other worlds away from Earth. If we follow this path I am sure that the next century will be characterized as a true space age,” said Hawking.
I guess it’s the right time for us to take on the moon once again, after all, technology today is far more advanced than when the Apollo missions visited the moon.

The idea that time travel is possible has captured the interest of countless researchers for decades. There are some who firmly argue that time travel is in fact possible. A team of scientists has concluded that the grandfather paradox –which demonstrates how time travel is not possible— can be resolved.
A team of researchers from the University of Queensland, Australia, have simulated how time-travelling photons might behave, indicating that at least on a QUANTUM LEVE, the grandfather paradox –which demonstrates how time travel is not possible— can be resolved.
“The properties of quantum particles are ‘fuzzy’ or uncertain to start with, so this gives them enough wiggle room to avoid inconsistent time travel situations. Our study provides insights into where and how nature might behave differently from what our theories predict,” said co-author Professor Timothy Ralph.
Explaining the curious situation, the daily mail indicates:
“In the simulation, the researchers examined the behavior of a photon traveling through time and interacting with its older self. In their experiment, they made use of the closely related, fictitious, case where the photon travels through normal space-time and interacts with another photon that is stuck in a time-travelling loop through a wormhole, known as a closed timelike curve (CTC). Simulating the behavior of this second photon, they were able to study the behavior of the first – and the results show that consistent evolutions can be achieved when preparing the second photon in just the right way.”
When talking about the idea of time travel and whether or not it’s possible, scientists point to Albert Einstein and his well-tested theories of special and general relativity which according to many can prove mankind is able to travel through time.
This theory indicates that time can slow down or speed up depending on how fast you are moving, relative to another object.
The theory of general relativity indicates that it’s possible to travel back in time by following the so-called space-time path.
In 2012, Serge Haroche and colleague physicists David Wineland shared the Nobel Prize award as they demonstrated how “quantum weirdness” can exist at a subatomic micro-world level, but also on a MACRO level.
“The question of time travel features at the interface between two of our most successful yet incompatible physical theories – Einstein’s general relativity and quantum mechanics. Einstein’s theory describes the world at the very large scale of stars and galaxies, while quantum mechanics is an excellent description of the world at the very small scale of atoms and molecules,” said Martin Ringbauer, a PhD student at UQ’s School of Mathematics and Physics and a lead author of the paper.
But not everyone in the scientific community agrees that time travel is possible. In fact, in a documentary released by the BBC, award-winning astrophysicist Stephen Hawking states that it is IMPOSSIBLE to go back in time.

A new study contemplates the possibility of sending unmanned micro spacecraft to uninhabited planets elsewhere in the universe and seeding life on them.
In miniature spacefaring genetic laboratories, researchers propose we should seed life on uninhabited exoplanets. But if we are contemplating today on ‘seeding’ life on uninhabited exoplanets in the universe, is it not possible that life on Earth is the result of a similar Alien project, millions of years ago?
In an essay to be published in Astrophysics and Space Science, Claudius Gros a theoretical physicist at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University raises the possibility of bringing life to other planets.
Is it right for humans to play ‘God’?
What if we could seed life on other planets and help accelerate evolution?
From a scientific perspective, this possibility is exciting, but how about from a social viewpoint? Would something like that be ‘right’?
It is often presumed, that life evolves relatively fast on planets with clement conditions, at least in its basic forms, and that extended periods of habitability are subsequently needed for the evolution of higher life forms. Many planets are however expected to be only transiently habitable. On a large set of otherwise suitable planets life will therefore just not have the time to develop on its own to a complexity level as it did arise on earth with the cambrian explosion.
The equivalent of a cambrian explosion may however have the chance to unfold on transiently habitable planets if it would be possible to fast forward evolution by 3-4 billion years (with respect to terrestrial timescales). We argue here, that this is indeed possible when seeding the candidate planet with the microbial lifeforms, bacteria and unicellular eukaryotes alike, characterizing earth before the cambrian explosion. An interstellar mission of this kind, denoted the `Genesis project’, could be carried out by a relatively low-cost robotic microcraft equipped with a on-board gene laboratory for the in situ synthesis of the microbes.
In recent years, we have identified very different types of exoplanets, some fo them relatively nearby, while others are hundreds, and even thousands of light years away.
“It is therefore certain that we will discover a large number of exoplanets which are inhabitable intermittently but not permanently. Life would indeed be possible on these planets, but it would not have the time to grow and develop independently”,says Gros.
It turns out that we already have technology that could help us achieve something like this.
From a technical point of view, a Genesis mission could be achieved in a few decades with the help of unmanned interstellar micro spaceships that could be accelerated and slowed down passively.
Upon arrival –to an alien world— an automated genetic laboratory would synthesize a selection of unicellular organisms with the ultimate goal of establishing an exosphere of such organisms on the exoplanet of choice.
Later on, these organisms could develop autonomously and even possibly develop into complex lifeforms.
“In this way, we could jump the approximately four billion years which had been necessary on Earth to reach the Precambrian stage of development out of which the animal world developed about 500 million years ago,” explains Gros.
The researcher further explains that in order to not endanger potential lifeforms on other planets, Genesis spacecraft would only be sent to planets that are uninhabited.
Furthermore, Gros explains that the actual duration of the mission is entirely irrelevant to the project since the time scales for an evolutionary development of a geo-targeted planets can range from a few tens of millions of years to hundreds of millions of years.
In other words, the Genesis project would not have any benefit –currently— for mankind and our civilization.
“However, we would give something back to life,” says Gros.
Gros questions whether biological incompatibilities should be expected in the event of a second Earth fully developing regarding evolution. “That seems, however, at present to be highly unlikely,” says the physicist, dampening any too high expectations.
But if we are already contemplating on ‘seeding’ life and accelerating evolution on currently uninhabited alien planets, would it not be possible that tens of millions of years ago, a highly sophisticated alien race did the same thing here on earth?
How can we be sure that we are not the result of a similar ‘Alien Genesis project’?
It is interesting actually. If we look at Professor Gros’ Genesis project from a scientific level, it is an exciting future project that could expand life throughout the universe.
However, if we step back a little and question life on Earth, the scientific community would call it ludicrous to think life on Earth is the result of a similar ‘alien project.’
If we can achieve something like this today, it is entirely possible and cannot be excluded that in the distant past, advanced alien civilizations seeded life on Earth and helped life evolve to our current stage.

Scammonden is a UFO spotters’ paradise - and the latest sighting happened just last week.
A mum and daughter were been left terrified after spotting a UFO in the sky above theM62 near the dam.
The mum filed a report on www.uk-ufo.co.uk on Tuesday after spotting the craft last Wednesday at 9.30pm near junction 22 at Rishworth Moor.
She said: “Strangely my daughter began a conversation asking me what are ‘extraterrestrials’ and infinite universes.
“I thought she was talking nonsense really, and didn’t pay much attention. Five minutes later we exited junction 22 towards Halifax. It was a clear night, and on the moors there were no road lights, completely pitch dark.
“Suddenly as I am driving on the road to my left a very bright light appeared over the moor above us. Disc shaped, with green and red light slowly moving across the road high above our car.
“My daughter also noticed two blue lights as well on the rim of the flying object. The craft also spun slowly.
“We were in absolute shock. I kept driving and it made its way across the valley towards the m62. As we watched, in a blink of an eye it totally vanished
“My daughter tried to take a photo, and we think in the distance we caught the craft.
“Although we literally were terrified and were panicking. The first photo is as the craft was across the valley, and in the final photos all the camera took were several frames of what looks like a orange light in the sky.”
It’s not the first time unidentified flying objects have been spotted in the area.
Scammonden is known as a UFO hotspot - and several reports of sightings around the village and dam appear online.

• Outlane grandmother Sue Sill says she was abducted in 2010 - and believes Huddersfield is a UFO hotbed. She says she’s filmed UFOs all around the town, including Scammonden. Her videos can be seen at www.examiner.co.uk .
• One person reported seeing an object floating over the dam for 10 minutes before descending down inside it
• Several people have claimed to see flying triangles silently hovering in the sky, before flying off at speeds far beyond any kind of military jet
• A couple stated they were driving along the country road next to the dam when they saw a triangular craft enter the dam, then a classic saucership craft exit the dam. Moments later a mist formed out of nowhere and the next thing they knew they were driving in the wrong direction on the road running parallel to the road they were originally on. Over the following months, they came to believe they had been abducted
• Writing for UFO Magazine, Mark Gibbons, former director of investigations for British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society, whop was with the couple at the time, says he also witnessed the hovering triangle. He added: “The object was motionless and quiet in the sky. “We observed it for 20 minutes then decided to leave. The craft began to follow us. We speeded up and the craft also speeded up. It was a clear night then out of nowhere a large cloud appeared and the craft entered it. The cloud then seemed to disappear, and the craft with it. In my mind there is something going on up at Scammonden, be it alien or military. I am sure that there is an underground base at the dam, as it is the only dam in the country with a steel reinforced base under the concrete base.”

De Scammonden Dam in Engeland is een ware UFO-hotspot. Afgelopen week nog spotten een moeder en haar dochter daar een UFO in de lucht. “Vreemd genoeg vroeg mijn dochter me wat buitenaardsen en oneindige universa zijn,” zei de moeder.
“Ik dacht dat ze maar wat bazelde en schonk er verder geen aandacht aan,” ging ze verder. “Het was een heldere avond en pikkedonker. Plotseling zag ik recht boven ons een zeer helder licht. Schijfvormig, met groene en rode lichten, hoog boven onze auto.”
“Mijn dochter zag ook twee blauwe lichten aan de rand van het vliegende object,” zei ze. “Het vaartuig draaide langzaam rond. We waren in shock. Het verplaatste zich over de vallei richting de snelweg. Terwijl we toekeken verdween het ineens in een oogwenk.”
Driehoeken
Het is niet voor het eerst dat er ongeïdentificeerde vliegende objecten zijn gespot in het gebied. Sue Hill, die claimt in 2010 ontvoerd te zijn, zegt UFO’s te hebben gefilmd bij Scammonden. Een ander zegt een object boven de dam te hebben gezien dat 10 minuten later in de dam afdaalde.
Verschillende mensen hebben in het gebied vliegende driehoeken gezien die geruisloos door de lucht vlogen. De objecten schoten vervolgens weg in het niets.
Ondergrondse basis
Een stelletje zag een driehoekig object de dam binnengaan en vervolgens een vliegende schotel uit de dam tevoorschijn komen. Kort daarna ontstond er uit het niets mist, waarna ze plotseling op een andere weg reden. In de maanden daarna is het stel gaan denken dat ze zijn ontvoerd.
Mark Gibbons van UFO Magazine zag naar eigen zeggen ook een zwevende driehoek. “Het object bewoog niet en hing stil in de lucht. We bleven 20 minuten kijken en besloten toen weg te gaan. Het vaartuig begon ons te volgen. Uit het niets verscheen een grote wolk waar het schip in verdween. Er is iets aan de hand bij Scammonden, of het nu aliens zijn of militaire projecten. Ik ben er zeker van dat zich bij de dam een ondergrondse basis bevindt.”

Eigenlijk verbazingwekkend dat zo’n groot deel van de bevolking nog steeds de geschiedenisboeken gelooft die wij op school krijgen voorgeschoteld.
Keer op keer worden er dingen gevonden die in de normale geschiedenis niet kunnen en toch zijn ze er.
Wat weten wij eigenlijk zeker voor wat betreft onze geschiedenis? Eigenlijk bar weinig en dan alleen nog van de laatste paar duizend jaar.
Wij leren altijd dat de Columbus Amerika ontdekte en dat de Spanjaarden veel van de Zuid- en Midden Amerikaanse landen veroverden in de 16e eeuw.
Over wat er daarvoor gebeurde in die landen weten wij weinig en volgens de Wikipedia kwamen er voor het eerst mensen voor rond 9.000 voor Christus.
Al jarenlang schrijven wij over het feit dat er in Zuid Amerika regelmatig schedels opduiken van een nogal afwijkend formaat. De zogenaamde langgerekte schedels die veel overeenkomsten vertonen met buitenaardse schedels, maar waarvan de geschiedenis ons vertelt dat deze misvormd zijn omdat ze op jeugdige leeftijd strak werden verbonden (zoals de Chinezen dat met meisjesvoetjes pleegt te doen).
De volgende schedel is ongeveer 1950 jaar oud en werd gevonden in Peru. Het is van een baby die is gestorven op een leeftijd van ergens tussen de 18 en 22 maanden.
Niet alleen is de vorm van de schedel heel bijzonder, ook het rode haar toont aan dat het kind niet toebehoorde aan één van de rassen die volgens de geschiedenisboeken in die tijd in Peru woonden.
Op de volgende foto zie je hoe de schedel er uitziet in vergelijking met die van een “normale” baby die ongeveer rond dezelfde leeftijd is gestorven.
Het kind heeft dus wel menselijk DNA, maar misschien is het, gezien de vorm van de schedel, een soort hybride tussen mens en buitenaards. Het toont in ieder geval aan dat er kennelijk mensen in Zuid Amerika waren van Europese afkomst die er volgens de geschiedenisboeken niet kunnen zijn.
Bij eerdere DNA tests op langgerekte schedels in Zuid Amerika werd ook niet menselijke DNA aangetroffen, zoals wij in een eerder artikel schreven. En geloof het of niet, zelfs op Mars zijn langgerekte schedels gevonden.
In de zomer van 2012 schreven wij een artikel over Brien Foerster en de langwerpige schedels in een klein museum in Peru.
Brien Foerster, bekend van de Discovery Channel serie “Ancient Aliens” werkt op dit moment samen met een piepklein museum in Peru. Hier liggen een aantal overblijfselen van mensen met een langgerekte schedel.
Sommige historici stellen dat deze schedels zijn ontstaan door het “afbinden” van het hoofd, waardoor de vreemde vorm zou zijn ontstaan. Er zijn echter een aantal aanwijzingen waaruit valt af te leiden dat dit wellicht niet het geval is.
Zo schijnt het dat de schedels een indicatie zijn dat er een grotere hersencapaciteit aanwezig was dan bij normale schedels. In het museum bevindt zich ook een baby met een langwerpige schedel. Nu is het al niet aannemelijk dat een schedel bij een jonge baby gevormd zou zijn door “afbinden” van het hoofd.
Bovendien is er nog een merkwaardigheid. De baby heeft elf ribben, terwijl de mens 12 ribben hoort te hebben. Ook de verbinding tussen het lichaam en het hoofd laat zien dat deze dikker is dan bij doorsnee mensen. Bovendien ziet de schedel er volkomen natuurlijk uit en laat totaal geen sporen zien van enige misvorming.
Bij wijze van grote uitzonderding heeft Brien van de curator van het museum toestemming gekregen om DNA-monsters te nemen van deze baby, tesamen met een ook daar aanwezige foetus.
Dit DNA zal dan in de zeer nabije toekomst moeten uitwijzen of het hier inderdaad om een menselijke baby gaat of wellicht toch een buitenaardse.
In de onderstaande video kun je zien hoe het nemen van het DNA monsters in zijn werk ging.
Inmiddels zijn in ieder geval een deel van de resultaten van het door Brien Foerster uitgevoerde onderzoek bekend en het zal weinigen verbazen dat de schedels die gevonden zijn in Paracas in Peru in 1928 niet menselijk DNA bevatten.
Nu naar Mars waar deze week op een NASA foto iets is ontdekt dat verdacht veel lijkt op de soort langwerpige schedels uit Peru.
Eigenlijk niet meer dan logisch; buitenaardsen die zich ooit op aarde bevonden zullen ongetwijfeld ook op Mars zijn geweest.

Het wordt zo langzamerhand tijd om voor eens en voor altijd een einde te maken aan de discussie of er mensen of buitenaardsen zijn (geweest) op Mars.
Opnieuw is er een onbekend object aangetroffen op Mars en bij deze dagen wij de Nederlandse en Belgische bevolking uit om te komen met een verklaring voor wat het is.
Dat onderzoekers die keer op keer dingen aantreffen op Mars die volgens de gangbare normen niet kunnen, uitgemaakt worden voor gekke Gerrit is niet alleen beledigend, maar ook een blijk van oogkleppen bij de mensen die dat roepen.
Als er inderdaad dingen worden aangetroffen op Mars die niet natuurlijk zijn ontstaan zoals de mainstream wetenschap onder aanvoering van NASA ons wil doen geloven, dan heeft dit verregaande consequenties.
Want als er zich daar objecten bevinden die niet natuurlijk zijn, dan betekent dat op zijn minst dat er ooit leven is geweest op Mars.
Dat feit alleen al zal het beeld zoals de bulk van de bevolking dat heeft op dit moment volledig op zijn kop zetten. Want als er leven is geweest op Mars, dan kunnen wij ook onze eigen geschiedenisboeken herschrijven.
Daarom willen wij het Nederlandse volk bij deze vragen mee te doen aan een onderzoek. Dat zich zal toespitsen op een door NASA op hun website gepubliceerde foto die genomen is door één van de Rovers.
Het NOS journaal hield zich zaterdagavond ook bezig met mooie foto's op Mars. Alleen was er op die foto's van de NOS niet zoveel bijzonders te zien. De nieuwslezer deelde vol trots mee dat het karretje van NASA erin was geslaagd om mooie opnames te maken van het heuvelachtige landschap.

Voor diegenen die het niet kunnen vinden op de originele foto, kijk naar de volgende afbeelding en de pijl.
Wat het object is, weten wij ook niet. Het ziet eruit als een soort metaalachtig object en is misschien ooit onderdeel geweest van een motor of iets dergelijks.
Wat honderd procent zeker is voor ons, is dat we hier niet te maken hebben met een natuurlijk gevormd object. Ook hebben we hier niet te maken met de restanten van een door mensen gestuurde raket van NASA of iets dergelijks, want dan zouden ze deze vondst in geuren en kleuren bekend hebben gemaakt.
Wij willen bij deze graag het publiek de kans geven om ons en de andere lezers ervan te overtuigen dat het iets natuurlijks is dat thuis hoort op Mars en dat het geen teken is dat er eerder menselijke of buitenaardse activiteiten geweest zijn op Mars.
Er zijn ondertussen zoveel mensen in Nederland die ons hebben uitgemaakt voor zweefkezen, aluhoedjes, rijp voor opname in het gesticht en nog wat van die complimenten, dat er tussen dat publiek vast wel mensen zijn die in staat zijn om bovenstaand raadsel op te lossen.

We gaan er voor wat bovengenoemd verhaal betreft vanuit dat de Rovers van NASA inderdaad beelden doorsturen van Mars en dat ze niet rondrijden op een onbewoond eiland ergens in het noorden van Canada. Want dat zou ook zomaar kunnen.
Human beings have long searched for extraterrestrial life. With all the technological advances we've made, and all the planets we've discovered, we haven't even come close to finding these aliens. Maybe, just maybe, we are alone in this vast universe.
WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?
With at least 1023 planets in the observable universe, there has got to be at least one with intelligent life in it…right? But by the looks of it, we aren’t even close to finding one.
Some astronomers believe that we aren’t alone in this universe, that since there are billions of planets out there similar to our little blue world capable of maintaining life, at least some of them should. Still, it’s just wishful thinking, because humans are still in the dark about how the origin of life even came about.

Biologist Christian de Duve thinks that life is a “cosmic imperative.” But unless we figure out how specific chemicals came together to form life, we can’t even begin to hope to determine the probability that life has also begun in another world.
There’s also the theory that life is not a product of random chemicals coming together but of self-organization, that nature itself will find a way to form life. This may seem like a solid theory as well, if we could ever find evidence supporting it.

Organizations dedicated to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) have their hands full with the recent discovery of extrasolar planets. Perhaps they will find clues from these new planets, perhaps not.
Paul Davies of the University of Alabama isn’t very optimistic on the topic. He writes that we need not look any farther than our own planet for confirmation. He writes, “If life really does pop up readily…then it should have started many times on our home planet. If there were multiple origins of life on Earth, the microbial descendants of another genesis could be all around us, forming a possible shadow biosphere.”
Of course we’re not speaking in absolute terms and realize that any attempts made to discover life elsewhere can help to discover how it formed here. Even looking at why it didn’t form on other Earth-like planets can lead to new ways of thinking about why Earth was so well situated.

An astronomer from the UK has determined the odds at which John Ball's 1973 "Zoo hypothesis" can actually be plausible. Computer models show what would need to happen for aliens to unilaterally agree to avoid humans.
ZOO HYPOTHESIS
Searching for extraterrestrial life has always been one of the focuses of astronomy. Many models and theories have been created just to explain how alien civilizations would work and why we may not have found them yet.
An astronomer just put one of those theories into question. Duncan Forgan at the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom has come up with a model that establishes how hard it is for the “zoo hypothesis” to be plausible.
Back in 1973, John Ball, a radio astronomer at MIT, explained why we haven’t come into contact with aliens yet. He postulated that alien civilizations could be unilaterally avoiding us. Keeping Earth as a part of some kind of intergalactic zoo. So, in a sense, we’d be left alone because of alien “Don’t Touch The Animals” signs.

ASSUMPTIONS
Forgan starts from the assumption that several alien civilizations must have talked with one another and decided on the zoo rule, like how the UN gets together and sets policies.
Key to that set-up would be intergalactic communication, limited by the speed of light. Therefore, civilizations must exist long enough for the messages to go from sender to receiver and vice versa. Once again, assuming that alien communication would be limited by the speed of light.
Also, life can only be sustained in a galaxy-wide habitable zone, the two-dimensional annular stretching between six kiloparsecs and 10 kiloparsecs from the galactic center.
Using these assumptions, the computer program then places civilizations randomly in the galactic map and calculates the possibility for any two civilizations to actually meet, communicate, and come to an agreement.
The computer determined that at least 500 civilizations must exist for the zoo hypothesis to be possible. Any less and there are too many groups of civilizations too far from each other for a consensus to be made.
Then the computer determined how old the civilizations must be for an effective agreement to be made. It saw that if civilizations last less than a million years, there also be many civilizations groups, same as above. But if they last over 1 million, a single galactic club can be achieved.
Therefore, the galaxy must have at least 500 civilizations that exist for more than a million years for the zoo hypothesis to work. Pretty stiff odds, if we’re honest.
