Hubble Telescope Snaps Best-Ever Views of a Comet's Disintegration

Comet 332P/Ikeya-Murakami is breaking apart as it orbits the sun. Images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope captured building-size chunks of debris as they fell behind the main comet body.

Building-size chunks of rock were photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope in January as they broke free from a disintegrating comet zooming around the sun. The relatively rare images are providing insight into how these icy space rocks die.
The new images show a large, bright speck of light — the solid core of Comet 332P (short for 332P/Ikeya-Murakami) — trailed by a parade of smaller bluish-white dots. Over the course of three days, those small dots can be seen falling farther behind the comet's main body.
Comet 332P is currently about the length of five football fields, but observations going back to 2010 show that its size has been deteriorating for some time. The comet and its debris trail are visible because they are made partly of ices that reflect sunlight. As comets approach the sun and temperatures start to rise, those frozen materials can vaporize, and the comet itself essentially becomes unglued. Currently, Comet 332P has a debris trail stretching about 3,000 miles (4,800 km) behind it, scientists said. [5 Amazing Facts about the Comet-Chasing Rosetta Spacecraft]
The new images of 332P are fascinating for scientists because there aren't many clear, direct observations of this type of cometary death; the photos make up "one of the sharpest, most detailed observations of a comet breaking apart," according to a statement from the Space Telescope Science institute (STScI) in Baltimore, which manages Hubble's science operations.
The images of the comet breaking apart were taken when the space rock was just outside the orbit of Mars, about 150 million miles (240 million km) from the sun, and only 67 million miles (108 million km) from Earth, researchers said.

Comet 332P is estimated to be about 4.5 billion years old, or about the age of Earth and the other bodies in the solar system. Comets originate in the Kuiper Belt, the sphere of rocky, icy objects beyond the orbit of Neptune. At some point, gravitational disturbances pushed Comet 322P much closer to the sun, where the additional heat began to write its destruction. (The comet currently circles the sun once every six years.)
"We know that comets sometimes disintegrate, but we don't know much about why or how they come apart," David Jewitt, a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of California at Los Angeles, said in the statement. "The trouble is that it happens quickly and without warning, and so we don't have much chance to get useful data. With Hubble's fantastic resolution, not only do we see really tiny, faint bits of the comet, but we can watch them change from day to day. And that has allowed us to make the best measurements ever obtained on such an object."
Jewitt is lead author on a paper analyzing the Hubble observations that appeared today (Sept. 15) in the Astrophysical Journal Letters. He and his colleagues applied to have Hubble turn its eye on the comet after other observations showed that it might be breaking apart.
In the new images, the larger bright spot of Comet 332P's nucleus (the rocky core of a comet) is estimated to be about 1,600 feet long (490 meters), with a debris trail. But observations in 2015 by the Pan-STARRS (Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System) telescope in Hawaii showed that there might be another chunk of rock very close to the comet's nucleus and almost the same size, suggesting 332P may have split nearly in half at some point in the past.
With the new observations, scientists are observing this rocky destruction as it happens. The chunks of rock visible in the Hubble images range in size from about 65 to 200 feet wide (20 to 60 meters), and are moving away from each other at "a few miles per hour," according to the statement, or "about the walking speed of an adult."

Observations of comets like Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko show that when icy comet materials heat up and turn into vapor, they can spray out of cracks and crevices in the comet's surface, creating jets. In Comet 332P, the jets of material act like engines that get the comet spinning faster and faster. The uptick then loosens chunks of material that fall off the comet.
"In the past, astronomers thought that comets die when they are warmed by sunlight, causing their ices to simply vaporize away," Jewitt said in the statement. "Either nothing would be left over or there would be a dead hulk of material where an active comet used to be. But it's starting to look like fragmentation may be more important. In Comet 332P we may be seeing a comet fragmenting itself into oblivion."
Scientists have previously captured images of debris breaking free of a comet, but the new Hubble observations are notable because they followed the comet long enough to show the "evolution of the fragments over time," Harold Weaver, a research professor of physics and astronomy at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, and an author on the new paper, said in the statement.
Comet 332P may not be long for this world (at least on the scale of a typical comet lifetime). The authors of the new paper estimate that another 25 outbursts will break the comet's nucleus apart completely.
"If the comet has an episode every six years, the equivalent of one orbit around the sun, then it will be gone in 150 years," Jewitt said. "It's the blink of an eye, astronomically speaking. The trip to the inner solar system has doomed it."
Now that the smoke has died down surrounding the incident, Elon Musk’s company has announced a new timeframe for launching another rocket.
“We’re anticipating getting back to flight, being down for about three months, and then back to flight in November, the November timeframe,” said Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX’s president at a meeting for World Satellite Business Week in Paris yesterday. “We’ll launch on the east coast from pad 39A in that timeframe, and then Vandenberg will be available for our customers.”
While it is unclear which SpaceX rocket will be launched in two months, we do know it won’t be taking place at Cape Canaveral where the explosion occurred.
Instead, the launch site will be pad 39A, which is located at the Kennedy Space Center.
As technology improves, the possibility that our world may be a simulated one is becoming more and more probable, argues Universe Today founder Fraser Cain. But can we ever prove that we live in a simulation of a reality?

RED PILL OR BLUE?
All the world’s a stage. Or is it a simulation?
The idea that what we consider reality is actually a simulation was first proposed by scientistNick Bostrom, and it is frequently addressed in fiction (e.g., “The Matrix” trilogy) and by innovators and educators such as Elon Musk, who brought up the topic at the 2016 Code Conference.
Those who believe that we live in a simulation often cite Bostrom’s argument regarding what he calls ancestor simulations. “One thing that later generations might do with their super-powerful computers is run detailed simulations of their forebears or of people like their forebears,” write Bostrom. “Because their computers would be so powerful, they could run a great many such simulations.”
That prediction is becoming more and more a possible reality. Today’s computers are powerful enough to simulate things that we never witnessed, such as the Big Bang or the creation of the planets. Currently, scientific simulations seem to be better, though, with large-scale situations.
But will we ever know for sure if we live in a simulation?

CRACKING THE CODE
According to Fraser Cain from Universe Today, there is one way to find out, and that is to detect tricks that the simulation uses to approximate a reality that it can never copy exactly. A computer in a simulation will not have the same processing power as the computer that’s running the simulation, Cain explains, so there will be inconsistencies or tell-tale signs, perhaps glitches, that reveal the underlying grid on which our world or universe runs.

A team of scientists from the University of Washington, for example, believe that we can detect the resolution that our simulated world is running on by observing the energy limitations of ultra-high cosmic rays in the universe.
At this point, Cain argues, we can’t really tell, sort of like with the Kantian phenomenon/noumenon dichotomy. We’ll just have to “live our lives as if we’re real, until better evidence comes along, or our simulations get so good, their inhabitants start questioning their own existence,” says Cain.
Or maybe until someone offers you the red pill. If they did, would you take it?

To measure the level of a civilization’s advancement, the Kardashev scale focuses on the amount of energy that a civilization is able to utilize. Notably, the amount of power available to a civilization is fundamentally linked to how widespread the civilization is (you obviously can’t harness the power of a star if you are confined to your home planet). In a previous article, we offered an overview of the various civilization types, Subglobal Cultures, Galactic Cultures, Multiverse Cultures etc.
Today, I want to talk about what it would be like to live in a Type 0 Civilization—A Subglobal Culture.
This might seem like a rather strange topic for discussion. After all, we are a subglobal culture. So couldn’t I just say, “What you are doing right now is living in a subglobal culture. Congratulations. Look out your window or something.” Wouldn’t that give you a much better understanding of this civilization type than any explanation that I could give? No.
UNDERSTANDING OUR WORLD
Based on our energy use, in 1973 astronomer Carl Sagan estimated that Earth represented a Type 0.7 civilization, more current assessments put us at about 0.72. What does this mean? We’ve had 4.5 billion years and we still haven’t made it to a Type 1 civilization.
So there’s a lot more to a Type 0 civilization than simply what you see when you look out your window. What about what came before? And what will come next?
On our own planet, at the lowest civilization type (Type 0.1) you would be a proto-human. You would use sticks and other basic tools to hunt and forage for your food. You probably wouldn’t wear any clothes. Many of your fellow proto-humans would be eaten by proto-lions (which would not be terribly pleasant, I’m afraid).

However, as an individual in a proto-society, you’d have to fight to earn mating rights, protect your hunting territories, and establish leadership through a strength based dominance hierarchy…so your fellows getting eaten by proto-lions might actually work to your advantage. Warm showers would (of course) be out of the question. You’d have to rely entirely on natural resources such as hot springs, fires set by lightning, and your own muscle power.
But eventually a proto-human in your proto-society would start carving stones into tools. Thus, your little world would evolve into the Stone Age (how exciting for you!).

At this point, as you move to a Type 0.2 civilization and beyond, you figure out how to manipulate fire and use it to your advantage (like making roasted proto-lion). You also start wearing clothing and other items that protect you from the natural environment. Eventually, you harness animals and use them to herd and transport material (proto-Lassie and proto-Mister Ed).
You might use smoke signals to communicate to distant tribes as you expand across the planet. And so you would slowly evolve from relying on natural forms of energy to manipulating resources for use.
An advanced civilization = having an advanced way of killing other civilizations
As your culture continues to develop, you will begin metalworking. But moving from the Stone Age into the Metal Ages takes time…a lot of time (the Stone Age on Earth lasted some 3.4 million years). But eventually you’ll stop using those ruddy stones, and you’ll progress through the Copper, Bronze, and Iron Ages, where metal tools replace previous devices (and you make swords to stab your enemies, which will be of great assistance as you continue to fight to earn mating rights, protect hunting territories, and establish leadership through an economic based dominance hierarchy). Better fuels, such as coal or oil secured from local tar pits, will replace wood in campfires (just be careful with your herds around those tar pits; if one of your animals slips in, it probably won’t be seen again until some bloody scientist from a Type 0.7 civilization unearths it in a few millennia).
As you form into a more advanced community, you develop large structures that allow you to harness water power and wind power. Populations around rivers and other water systems surge and cities begin to truly develop (which makes plague spreading a snap and sewage removal a serious problem). Assuming your civilization isn’t wiped out by dysentery (it’s caused by fecal contamination of food and water), you will plateau here for a bit, at about Type 0.4.
The large structures created to harness wind and water energy are really only capable of producing a tiny amount of energy. So slowly, ever so slowly, you transition into widespread use of fossil fuel burning. And as we all know, a tiny bit of oil or natural gas goes a long way: Cue the industrial revolution!
Of course, steam and electricity are soon to follow.
Once you have electricity, your subglobal culture will evolve at an amazing rate. With electricity comes the advent of instantaneous global communication systems, amazingly fast transportation systems (which enable people to traverse the planet on a whim), global markets and planetary trade activities…and the dawn of a global culture is at hand.
At this level, you begin to truly understand the processes that create the planet and cosmos (your archaeologists delve into the deep recesses of tar pits and learn much about the herding practices of your ancestors). Nuclear energy is soon to follow and, as the energy released by nuclear fission is a million times greater than that released in chemical reactions, it fuels industry and technology even further, bringing society ever closer to breaching the bounds of the planet.
AND HERE WE HAVE THE MAJOR TEST

Nuclear energy isn’t all fun and games. Sure, you can use it to power cities and expand world markets. But you can also use it to obliterate your enemies (and much of the planet in the process) as you continue to fight to earn mating rights, protect hunting territories, and establish leadership through an economic based dominance hierarchy.
If you pass the test, you will harness the power of your planet and advance to a Type 1 civilization—a united global society that is capable of harnessing all the solar energy that reaches your world, manipulating planetary weather systems, and you’ll start to pull energy from other objects in the cosmos. If you fail, you will quite literally bomb your society back into the Stone Age (assuming, of course, that you don’t completely obliterate every living member of your civilization).

A team from Cornell is out to prove that water is all you need to send an aircraft flying in space. They will attempt to send a CubeSat, a tiny satellite no bigger than a cereal box, to orbit the moon.

As part of the Cube Quest Challenge, sponsored by NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate Centennial Challenge Program, students from Cornell are attempting to be the first to send a CubeSat to orbit the moon. Even more impressive is that they’re powering the spacecraft using only water.

A CubeSat is a tiny satellite about the size of a cereal box, and weighs approximately 1.3 kg. It is usually made out of off-the-shelf electronic materials only.
The Cornell team, known as the Cislunar Explorers, is mentored by Mason Peck, a former NASA official and now an associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Cornell. The team will win $5.5 million if they conquer the NASA-sponsored challenge, which is: designing, building and delivering flight-worthy, small satellites capable of advanced operations near and beyond the moon, as mentioned in the Cornell Chronicle.
GOALS BEYOND WINNING
The Cislunar Explorers will still have a sense of satisfaction even if they don’t complete the challenge. In an interview with the Cornell Chronicle, Peck said, “Of course, we’d like to be the first CubeSat to orbit the moon, but even if we don’t, if we can successfully demonstrate that water is all you need to travel in space, we’ve gone a long way toward achieving some important goals.”
Water isn’t the only element necessary to the CubeSat’s success, though. It will also harness the sun’s energy to electrolyze the water in its tanks into hydrogen and oxygen gases, which will propel the aircraft forward through a series of timed combustion.
Aside from the challenge, Peck has been striving to make ‘massless’ space exploration a reality.
“A lot of the mass we send into orbit these days is in the form of rockets – the only way we get anything into space. But what if we could use what’s already there? If we could do that, if we could refuel spacecraft while they’re already in space, that means that we could go farther, probably faster, probably accomplish a lot more, and we wouldn’t rely on Earth for supplies.”
The apparent UFO sighting occurred at around 10am on Friday morning.
A self-confessed sceptic, Carole is aware there may well be an alternative explanation for the sighting, but remains baffled by what she saw.
Now a separate spotter has added fuel to the fire saying he, too, saw something in the sky he struggles to explain.
The man, who asked not to be named, says he was looking at the skyline above the V&A Museum on Tuesday afternoon when he spotted something “thin and oblong”.
He said: “I do a bit of bird watching so always carry a small pair of binoculars.
“I was looking towards the V&A when something caught my eye.
“I saw this very slow-moving object with white lights which were rotating round it.
“It looked as if it was flying from Fife towards Dundee.”
The spotter does not believe the object was either a plane or a drone, saying it was flying too high to be either.
“It had no distinguishing wings,” he said.
“It was a small thin oblong shape and it was definitely above the clouds.
“A jet flew past at the same time and it was lower down and left a vapour trail — this didn’t.
“It was a decent size.
“A drone I don’t think could go above the cloud base, so I don’t believe it was that.
“It disappeared and I stood for 20 minutes trying to catch sight of it again, but I didn’t see it again.”

Two witnesses described seeing a large circular craft flying above a Scottish beach on Friday morning.
Carole Coull and her husband first spotted the mysterious object from their home at around 10am.
"It definitely wasn't a plane, a helicopter or a hot-air balloon, so what else could it have been?" she said. "If it was just me then my husband would probably have said I was off my head, but he saw it too. It was all over in a minute, but it flew right towards the beach. Someone else must have seen it."
Grabbing her camera, Carole attempted to capture a photograph of the object but to her dismay the device malfunctioned despite having never been a problem before.
"There probably is an explanation for it, but it was the strangest thing I have ever seen," she said.
"As soon as I saw it I said it looks like a flying saucer - like something out of the movies."
As we push toward a space settlement future, some of the earliest safety questions will regard deadly radiation. How will people live safely in space for extended periods of time amidst the ocean of cosmic rays that surrounds our planet and permeates space beyond the protective bubble of Earth’s magnetosphere? What methods of protection will the people living and working in space colonies need, and how capable are we of providing those protections now?
Surprisingly, the question of radiation is a relatively short term one. It is thought that around six feet of soil or around two meters of water works as an effective radiation shield[1], and the citizens of a large scale space colony would have a great deal more mass than that between them and the invisible rays bombarding their home. The risk of radiation is one that the earliest pioneers would have to face: the asteroid miners, construction workers, and architects working and living in the orbital equivalent of pre-fab offices and living spaces.
Solar Radiation

There are several kinds of radiation that threaten the early settlers of space. Solar radiation is the most common and is one of the easier threats to negate. The more problematic elements of solar radiation come from coronal mass ejections. These massive solar events happen fairly frequently, around once every five days. They see the Sun shudder off intense solar weather; this solar wind carries an incredible amount of charged particles that could be dangerous to any insufficiently shielded humans, or even computers, in space.
Astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) have experienced these ejections countless times, and by and large they have been relatively uneventful. There is a procedure in place whereby astronauts are to retreat to heavily shielded areas of the ISS (such as the Discovery module, or the Zarya module), close the window shutters and wait out the solar storm. Similar tactics could be utilized by the builders and miners living in space – their short term homes could be constructed with a central radiation shelter, reinforced with crushed rocks and metals or a layer of water.
Cosmic Rays
Galactic cosmic rays are a wholly different story. Mysterious beams of charged particles from far off supernovae moving with more energy than those launched by the Large Hadron Collider, cosmic rays stand as one of the most severe barriers to orbital colonization. These charged particles are notoriously difficult to shield against and some shielding can actually increases the amount of radiation exposure[2]. It’s thought that exposure to these rays alone would increase an adult’s chance of lethal cancer by 10-17% over the span of 3 years[3].
Anything above the Van Allen Belts gets a lot of cosmic rays. Actually, a lot of cosmic rays penetrate the belts and even the atmosphere. For example, airline pilots can develop eye problems due to higher doses of cosmic rays at 30-40,000 feet. – Al Globus, National Space Society (NSS) Board Member
Interestingly, the spurts of increased solar weather brought on by coronal ejections may actually help protect ourhypothetical pioneers. Due to an observed, but not entirely understood effect known as a Forbush Decrease, coronal mass ejections seem to ‘deflect’ galactic cosmic rays that can provide a window of reduced exposure. This, combined with a series of mechanical and biological radiation protection could prove invaluable to the future workers of space.
The risks posed by these rays are not solely biological. Cosmic rays can cause EMP-like effects on electronics and cosmic rays are thought to have caused damage to the Voyager 2 probe in 2010. Cosmic rays and radiation can cause ‘soft errors’ in sensitive electronics, such as corrupted data, unusually CPU performance, and other issues. As transistors shrink in size, these issues are becoming a concern for ground-level electronics. Several solutions for these issues already exist, with most space-borne electronics being ‘rad-hardened’ to avoid many of the issues. Research is still ongoing, with more advanced concepts, such as Intel’s proposal for including a ‘Cosmic Ray Detector’ in future processors, which would resend commands when a cosmic ray is detected.
Solutions
These rays may seem unbeatable, but conventional shielding can reduce exposure significantly. Assuming construction of thicker radiation shielding is made a priority by any mining or construction mission, the threat becomes more manageable. The reason radiation is viewed as a roadblock to space exploration is not due to the impracticality of constructing effective material shielding, but due to the vast expense of launching the shielding itself, with launch costs around $10,000/lb ($4,545/kg), it just isn’t feasible to launch a ship with several tons of shielding. A construction crew could utilize in situ materials to construct far more effective shielding than it would ever be cost effective to launch from Earth.

Finally, a more advanced form of radiation shielding could provide the perfect defense against both cosmic rays and solar radiation: electromagnetic shielding. Large superconducting magnets could, in theory, be attached to smaller colonies and project a powerful magnetic blanket over the exterior of the habitat, warding off a significant amount of radiation. This, combined with a layer of water or some other material shielding, would protect against almost any imagined assault by radiation. Active Shielding is currently being explored by many groups, such as NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts program, but, as Shayne Westover of the Johnson Space Center puts it – “The concept of shielding astronauts with magnetic fields has been studied for over 40 years, and it remains an intractable engineering problem. [But] superconducting magnet technology has made great strides in the last decade.”
Radiation and Space Colonies
Even with the material shielding and artificially generated magnetic fields, radiation creates a huge risk for any long term human presence in space. Stations and habitats of the future have been designed with this in mind, and have included large amounts of shielding in their engineering. Most design their central living spaces within a layer of rock and dirt, gathered from nearby asteroids or the lunar surface, providing the required 5-10 tons/m2 of mass required to simulate Earth’s protective atmosphere.

Island Three, one of Gerard O’Neill’s designs, is angled as to ensure solar radiation has to pass through a large, shielded ‘cap’ before it reaches inside the colony, with large shielded mirrors tilted to provide sunlight to the inhabitants. In Kalpana One, a settlement designed by Al Globus of the NSS, colonists can take refuge inside a central swimming pool during extreme solar storms, taking advantage of the added protection provided by the water.
While the prohibitive issue of mass and launch costs stop any Earth-borne space mission from constructing the sorts of extensive radiation shielding discussed above, such restrictions would not apply to a colony or work camp constructed in space. Utilizing asteroids and lunar minerals to construct as much shielding as required to properly protect the workers and colonists is the ultimate construction solution.
Despite all of these options, radiation still poses a threat to humanity’s future in space. Many of the solutions rely on a small established presence in space to begin with, therefore the earliest workers will be taking a large risk in constructing these footholds. The threat of radiation is, however, a threat we can understand and overcome – the technology to do so already exists for the most part, the problem, once again, is financial.
Radiation even provides an additional reason why space colonization is so vital to our efforts as a species. With an established space colony, construction on a truly safe, deep space-faring ship would be trivial compared to building one on Earth. With no concerns for launch costs, the radiation shielding and safety measures would be unconstrained and future exploration of the solar system could be a much safer affair.

Coal miners in the city of Moberly, Missouri mining a shaft 360 feet deep, enter into a cavern finding “a wonderful buried city,” sources reported in 1885.
Incredible style masonry and artifacts have been identified. Including a stone fountain that flowed with “perfectly pure water”.

In december 1923 kwamen twee reizigers aan in Darjeeling in India om te zoeken naar een ingang naar Shambhala, een rijk dat zich in de holle aarde zou bevinden. Zij werden vergezeld door Sovjet-spionnen, westerse occultisten en Mongolische rebellen, schrijft Atlas Obscura.
De twee reizigers, Nicholas en Helena Roerich, kwamen uit Rusland, maar reisden onder Amerikaanse vlag. Shambhala is volgens boeddhisten en hindoes een koninkrijk in de Himalaya dat zich zowel in het fysieke als het spirituele rijk bevindt.
Duizenden jaren speelde de legende over een ondergronds koninkrijk een belangrijke rol in de Tibetaanse traditie. Uiteindelijk bereikten geruchten over Shambhala ook het Westen.
Geïnteresseerd
Nicholas Roerich
Helena Roerich had het invloedrijke esoterische werk van Helena Blavatsky vertaald. Die presenteerde Shambhala als eerste als korte weg naar verlichting. Roerich claimde telepathische instructies te hebben gekregen van ‘meester Morya’, die het stel aanspoorde om op zoek te gaan naar de stad.
In de 20e eeuw werden buitenlanders echter niet toegelaten in Tibet. Daar kwam nog bij dat de expeditie waarschijnlijk jaren zou duren omdat het tweetal een afstand van ruim 25.000 kilometer zou moeten overbruggen.
Uit onderzoek blijkt dat diverse overheden – waaronder de Chinese, Mongolische, Japanse en Britse – ook waren geïnteresseerd in de verborgen stad. Eén van de redenen was een oude profetie die stelde dat de mensheid uiteindelijk in verval zou raken terwijl het materialisme zich verspreidde.
De mensen zouden, onder aanvoering van een kwaadaardige koning, Shambhala aanvallen. De heerser van Shambhala zou echter de kwaadaardige koning verslaan en een nieuw tijdperk van vrede en harmonie inluiden.
Geheime Sovjetpolitie
Sommige overheidsfunctionarissen geloofden er heilig in dat ze toegang konden krijgen tot de mystieke wapens van het verborgen koninkrijk. Een machtige man die in de profetie geloofde was Gleb Bokii, de baas van de geheime Sovjetpolitie.
Bokii was ervan overtuigd dat de verborgen stad hem toegang zou verschaffen tot geavanceerde wapens en technieken om mensen te hersenspoelen. Hij wist zijn meerderen ervan te overtuigen hier onderzoek naar te doen. Hij besloot samen te werken met Nicholas en Helena Roerich.
Hoogstwaarschijnlijk hebben de Roerichs een ontmoeting gehad met Georgi Tsjitsjerin, de Sovjet-Russische minister van Buitenlandse Zaken. De Sovjets besloten de expeditie te financieren.
Het stel doorkruiste 35 bergpassen, de Gobiwoestijn en bracht tientallen Alpentoppen in kaart. Ze werden geconfronteerd met extreem weer, rebellengroepen, bewapende bandieten en giftige planten.
Vreemde verschijningen
Hoe dichter ze de verborgen stad in de holle aarde naderden, hoe vager hun teksten worden omdat Shambhala niet in woorden kan worden gevat, zo is de gedachte. In zijn boek Shambhala the Resplendent schreef Nicholas over vreemde verschijningen, branden en lichten boven hun kamp.
Toen de Sovjets zich terugtrokken, begon het vreemdste deel van de reis. In de zomer van 1927 verdwenen de expeditieleden een jaar lang van de kaart. Daarna doken ze weer op in India.
President Roosevelt ondertekent het Roerich-pact
Uit de dagboeken van Nicholas blijkt dat ze in de vallei van Uimon in het Altajgebergte de ingang naar het ondergrondse koninkrijk kregen te zien, die inmiddels was afgesloten met stenen. De inwoners van Shambhala zullen op een dag terugkeren, zo verzekerde iemand hen.
De regering van Franklin D. Roosevelt, een vriend van Helena, sponsorde de volgende expeditie van het stel in 1933. Roerich maakte van de kans gebruik om te blijven zoeken naar Shambhala. De regering staakte de expeditie echter vroegtijdig onder druk.
Nicholas werd drie keer genomineerd voor de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede en in 1969 werd er zelfs een planeet vernoemd naar de Roerichs. Ze waren ook verantwoordelijk voor het Roerich-pact, een verdrag dat bedoeld is om tijdens oorlogen culturele monumenten te vrijwaren van vernietiging.

De populaire serie Stranger Things doet sterk denken aan een Amerikaans overheidsexperiment dat ook wel het Montauk Project wordt genoemd.
De experimenten werden gedaan op Camp Hero oftewel Montauk Air Force Station in Montauk, Long Island. Er gaan al sinds de jaren tachtig verhalen rond over de experimenten. Die waren gericht op onder andere tijdreizen, teleportatie en mind control. De serie zou in eerste instantie Montauk gaan heten.
Thrillist schrijft over een man genaamd Preston Nichols, die claimt te hebben deelgenomen aan een experiment dat de Montauk Chair werd genoemd. Het experiment was gericht op het versterken van psychische krachten.
Monster
“Het eerste experiment werd The Seeing Eye genoemd,” herinnert Nichols zich. “Met een haarlok of ander voorwerp kon helderziende Duncan Cameron zich op een persoon concentreren en door zijn of haar ogen kijken, door zijn of haar oren horen en door zijn of haar lichaam voelen. Hij kon letterlijk door iedereen heen kijken.”
Dit doet erg denken aan het experiment met Eleven voordat ze de poort opent in Stranger Things. Nichols schrijft ook over een monster dat door Duncan wordt opgeroepen terwijl hij op de Montauk Chair zit:
“We hadden genoeg van het hele experiment. Het noodprogramma werd geactiveerd door iemand die Duncan benaderde en fluisterde dat het tijd was. Op dat moment liet hij een monster uit zijn onderbewuste los. Het was een groot, harig, hongerig en naar monster. Het verscheen ergens op de basis en at alles op wat hij kon vonden. Verschillende mensen zagen het, maar vrijwel iedereen omschreef een ander monster.”
MK-ULTRA
Het Montauk Project hangt nauw samen met een aantal geheime experimenten op een marinebasis in Philadelphia om schepen onzichtbaar te maken voor radar. De marine heeft nooit toegegeven dat deze experimenten hebben plaatsgevonden, maar volgens complottheoretici werd tijdens een experiment in 1955 een marineschip geteleporteerd.
In Stranger Things komt ook een ander bestaand project aan bod: Project MK-ULTRA, een geheim, illegaal programma van de CIA dat gericht was op mind control. Tijdens de Koude Oorlog experimenteerde de CIA met drugs als LSD op nietsvermoedende proefpersonen.
Volgens sommigen worden de experimenten met verruiming van het menselijk bewustzijn en toekomstige technologie tot op de dag van vandaag ergens op aarde voortgezet.
A Nevada witness at Denio reported watching and videotaping two objects that could not immediately be identified, according to testimony in Case 75146 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness arrived at a campground in northwest Nevada shortly after dark September 24, 2015, on a clear night and set up a campsite, sitting by the fire about 20 minutes before the incident began.
“Something flashed out the corner of my eye and made me turn my head looking to the west,” the witness stated.“I could kind of see an outline of some hills/mountains to the west as I looked to where the flashes drew my attention. Two bright yellow arcs appeared over the top of the hill/mountain.”

The witness first thought the light was two objects.
“At first I thought it was two objects. I think now it was just one moving so fast it left a trail. It made two arcs flying above the hill/mountain then diving down then back up I guess. It was a bright yellow object,no flames/jets. The object itself was glowing yellow,strangest yellow, kind of like a spark shooting up out of a fire. The spark is burning and leaving a trail as it shoots up. I had never seen anything like this.”

The witness then went to his truck and retrieved his phone to videotape the event.
“I grabbed my chair and was moving it away from the fire to try and sit and get some video if it flew out from behind the hills/mountains. I wanted to be ready to catch it on video. As I was moving the chair and keeping an eye to the sky, I saw a bright orange sphere. It was also to my west,more to the south of the first object. I held up the phone to get video of the orange sphere and may have gotten a second or two of it on video before it disappeared. But as soon as it disappeared a strange white streak appeared and was gone in a second. I couldn’t tell if the white streak was the orange sphere moving incredibly fast or if it was something else.”

The first object then appeared again.
“But as the white streak faded, the first object came out from behind the hill/mountain heading south kind of towards where the orange sphere was. The bright yellow object did not leave a trail this time. It was solid yellow from what I could see with my eyes. It appeared to skip,but after looking at the video a thousand times, it was actually zig zagging,but from my point of view it headed south past where the orange object was and then appeared to flash many times and fade from sight.”

The witness learned more from watching the video.
“On video you can see an object flying into or out of the bright yellow object,but it’s moving so fast I can’t tell which way it’s going, I’m only able to catch it on one frame. After watching the video, I was able to see that after it went south past where the orange sphere was, then it actually went west away from me fading out of sight. I kept the video going a few minutes after everything was out of sight in case something else appeared. After all of them were out of sight my knees actually buckled and I finally started to breathe again. I sat with my phone in hand in the chair watching the sky for maybe an hour before trying to sleep.”

Ook al zijn wij oneindig bewustzijn en als zodanig onsterfelijk, het lijkt er toch op dat we hier op aarde te maken zullen krijgen met een eindtijd.
Die eindtijd zoals die wordt voorspeld in de Bijbel en waar de gelovigen reikhalzend naar uitkijken, schijnt toch behoorlijk dichtbij te zijn.
Iets meer dan een week geleden publiceerden wij een artikel over het verband tussen de stand aan de hemel van bepaalde planeten en het begin van de eindtijd zoals dat wordt omschreven in de Bijbel en dan in het bijzonder Openbaringen 12.
Zij die dat bewuste artikel niet hebben gelezen, willen wij aanraden om dat wel te doen, alvorens hier verder te lezen.
Wij hebben het publiek gevraagd mee te denken om zo te proberen wat meer duidelijkheid te krijgen over wat er dan zoal staat te gebeuren. Het grootste deel van die reacties volgt hierna. Wij willen iedereen heel hartelijk bedanken voor het meedenken!

Graag zou ik wat aanvullende informatie geven mbt het Openbaring 12 teken wat ik reeds 5 jaar bestudeer.
Het teken aan de hemel in 2017 vindt plaats op het feest der bazuinen en markeert het midden van Daniël's 70ste jaarweek.
Het moment dat dit teken aan de hemel verschijnt, verschijnt er ook een 2e teken aan de hemel, namelijk een grote rode draak, deze kennen wij inmiddels als planet-X.
God's oordelen d.m.v. deze rode draak zien wij terug in het boek openbaring 6 het 6e zegel en openbaring 8.

Leuk dat jullie een artikel schrijven over de Bijbelse eindtijd, 23 september 2017 wanneer er een speciale constellatie in de kosmos is. Sinds begin dit jaar is dat een onderwerp waarover ik op mijn seminars regelmatig spreek. In de attachment vinden jullie een bijbelstudie uit 1986 die daarop mooi aansluit. Wellicht interessant om eens te lezen en je te verbazen hoe 30 jaar geleden al voorspellingen werden gedaan over deze tijd.
De derde, Bert, de man die dikwijls occulte zaken ontrafelt, maar ook de nodige kennis heeft over de Bijbel.
…heb ik enige kennis van de bijbel maar er zijn mensen die hier heel diep in gaan en vele jaren lang enkele passages uit de bijbel proberen te verklaren. Ik heb hier een clip van een persoon die dit ook doet en deze gozer had dus ook al de datum 23-09-2017 ontrafeld.
Het is jammer genoeg in het Engels maar het is meest waanzinnig en voor mij in ieder geval de beste uitleg die ik ooit heb gehoord.
De draak is de NWO en de vrouw is Israël. De zoon die zij baart is de kerk, de kerk zijn de echte gelovigen en niet de religieuze gelovigen. Deze kerk is de verlichaming van Jesus, dus niet de paus. Het is dus een zeer actuele uileg, helemaal als je in beschouwing neemt dat Netanyahu laatst ook alle joden in de wereld heeft opgeroepen om naar Israël te komen. Persoonlijk ben ik geen fan van Israël echter god noemt Israël zijn oogappeltje. Ik hou op, hier de clip.
Via een andere lezer kregen wij dezelfde video opgestuurd, maar wel Nederlands ondertiteld,dus bij deze:
Ik had nog een kleine toevoeging. De man uit de clip spreekt mij mede erg aan door zijn opmerking dat we al in de tribulation zitten. Volgens mij heb ik dit ook al eens aan jullie geschreven.
Het is eigenlijk zo simpel als wat. De tribulation zal 7 jaren duren en er zal 75% van de mensheid sterven, met name het tweede gedeelte zal vele verschrikkingen met zich mee brengen. Het eerste gedeelte is the beginning of sorrows en het tweede gedeelte the great tribulation. Tevens wordt aangegeven dat in het eerste gedeelte de olie en wijn niet mogen worden beschadigd, dit is een cruciale opmerking. De olie en wijn staan voor de rijken, in onze tijd dus de westerse wereld.
Zie wat er de laatste drie jaar is gebeurd. De bijbelse landen, Syrie, Egypte, Griekenland en Irak hebben heel veel ellende mee gemaakt. Als je mensen in Syrie vraagt of de tribulation is begonnen zal elke gelovige daar dat beamen en de olie en wijn (westerse wereld) is niet beschadigd maar kent wel degelijk de beginning of sorrows( vluchtelingen, isis, aardbevingen, vulkanen en niet te vergeten rumors of war).
Alles ...maar dan ook alles begint op zijn plaats te vallen, echter het is niet de eindtijd. Vele mensen zullen de komende ellende nooit gaan koppelen aan het bijbelse verhaal om de dood simpele reden dat ze gewoon niet de kennis hebben en dat het ver van hun vandaan wordt gehouden. Mocht de rapture gebeuren op 23-09-2017 dan zullen we het niet krijgen te horen.
We zitten dan waarschijnlijk in een derde wereldoorlog of de welbekende killshot is net geweest waardoor er geen communicatie mogelijk is of.. what ever. Dit is namelijk het spel (the matrix) waarin we zitten, het spel tussen god en satan, twee entiteiten uit de vijfde dimensie die ons universum hebben gemaakt en er vele spelletjes spelen, spelletjes om bio energie of iets dergelijks.
De vierde:
Al een tijdje geleden heb ik jullie geïnformeerd over de komst van Nibiru. Toen heb ik aangegeven dat eind september/begin oktober deze langs de Aarde zou scheren. De eindtijd zoals die vermeld wordt is geen eindtijd maar een begin van alle ellende die Nibiru zal veroorzaken. Echter ben ik van mening dat er geen poleshift komt. Iets of beter genoemd een anomalie zorgt ervoor dat dit niet gebeurd. Wat dat is, weet ik nog niet, daar doe ik nog onderzoek naar.
Het verhaal en de video over de vrouw (sterrenbeeld Virgo/maagd) is al een tijdje bekend en het geeft mij een zeer vredig gevoel, misschien omdat ik zelf dat sterrenbeeld heb. Een paar dagen geleden heb ik jullie gevraagd of jullie wisten wie de antichrist is. Welnu ik zal dat uitleggen.
De elite vereerd Satan/Lucifer, als je dan logisch nadenkt en de tekst uit de openbaring 12 neemt en je zie daar de naam Michael staan kom je maar op 1 tegenhanger genaamd Gabriel. Alles je alles op een rijtje zet kom je tot de ontdekking dat Michael de figuur Enki is, de beschermer der mensheid en zet je Satan/Lucifer op een rijtje kom je op Ba'al = Gabriel = Enlil.
Was het niet Evert Jan Poorterman als ik mij niet vergis, die laatst vertelde dat Enlil het blanke westerse sub ras wou vernietigen.
Toevallig en dat is wel heel vreemd is er ooit een film gemaakt over een vrouw die een kind baarde midden in de woestijn Hierin komen Gabriel en Michael voor. Michael die de vrouw en het kind beschermt en Gabriel die het kind wil vernietigen. Ook stikt het van de Zombies in deze film. De film heet Legion (2010) en dit is de trailer
Zoals ik al zei het is een kwestie van logisch nadenken omdat er niet moet worden vergeten dat veel teksten uit de Bijbel nog van voor de Soemeriers stammen en er is uiteraard veel aangepast en vervangen. Zo eenvoudig is het, maar men maakt het zich vaak veel te moeilijk.
De vijfde:
Dan hebben we een lezer die verwijst naar de website van Wim Jongman, zo te zien iemand die zich al heel lang met deze materie bezig houdt en verder de twee volgende Nederlands ondertitelde video’s bijvoegt.
De zesde:
Deze sterren stand is eerder voor gekomen, n.l. tijdens de geboorte van Christus en dat was op 11September 3 BC, dus drie jaar voordat onze jaartelling begon.
En wanneer we de Bijbel goed lezen weten we dat Christus na twee duizend jaar zal terug keren, n.l. op de derde dag. Zei de Apostel Petrus niet, een dag is voor God als duizend jaar en duizend jaar voor God als een dag. Heel de Bijbel spreekt van deze derde dag, Christus stond op de derde dag op.
Na twee dagen oftewel tweeduizend jaar pakt God de draad weer op met Zijn volk Israël. Maar voordat dit zover is hebben we eerst nog te maken met de laatste zevenjaar weken waarover gesproken wordt in Daniël. Gedurende de eerste drie en half jaarweek zal er rust en vrede zijn voor Israël, daarna wordt de gruwel der verwoesting opgericht en het verbond wat Israël met de naties had gesloten verbroken en dit luid de volgende drie en een half jaar in waarbij iedereen wordt verplicht om het beest te aanbidden en ja de hele wereld.
En pas daarna keert Christus terug om Zijn volk Israël te redden. Dus ook dan vergaat de aarde nog niet, want dan vestigt Christus Zijn duizendjarig Koninkrijk op aard. Hij zal dan heersen en geen enkel ander mens. Wanneer deze tijd aanbreekt is nooit precies te zeggen, maar dat de twee duizend jaar praktisch om zijn is wel zeker en dat is ook voor ons wel duidelijk waarneembaar, gezien de situatie waarop wij ons dit moment bevinden. Ik geef hierbij maar een korte toelichting, het is in werkelijkheid nog veel uitgebreider.
Maar de aarde vergaat voorlopig nog niet en bestaat nog zeker duizend jaar langer. Israël zal nog totaal vernietigd worden, maar God geeft ontsnapping aan hen die in Hem geloven en ook de rest van de wereld zal getroffen worden door Gods gerichten.
Maar wees van een ding overtuigd, God zal iedereen redden en laat geen mens verloren gaan, want een hel bestaat niet zoals zoveel mensen geloven. God heeft gezworen dat Hij iedereen zou redden omdat iedereen zijn of haar knie zich vrijwillig voor Hem buigt en dan wordt Hij alles in allen. En dat is pas een blijde boodschap.
Ik weet niet wat jullie hiermee doen, maar het zou mooi zijn als je ook zoiets eens plaatste.
Misschien geeft dit bericht sommige mensen weer hoop dat niet alles verloren is, want hoop doet toch leven en het geld voor een ieder of je nu in God gelooft of niet.
De zevende:
Bij deze wilde ik reageren op u oproep om suggesties te doen. Volgens mijn bescheiden mening kan de einddatum berekening niet kloppen om de volgende reden:
Eerst zal de mens der wetteloosheid zich moeten openbaren, de Antichrist. Deze zal zich in de Derde tempel installeren voor een periode van zeven jaar, naar die zeven jaar Komt de Heer Jezus terug op aarde om een ieder naar zijn werken te oordelen. Zowel de Antichrist als de derde Tempel zijn nog niet verschenen. wel zijn achter de schermen mensen druk doende op het allemaal in gereed te brengen.
Volgens Wolfgang Eggert, zie you tube filmpje (2 uur 55min) moet volgens de Kabballa (!) de Antichrist in Joodse jaar 5777 verschijnen, onze jaartelling 2017. Het Joodse Jaar begint op 3 Okt 2017 en eindigt op 3okt 2018. Gezien de instorting van de wereld economie en het vol proppen van illigale zou het wel eens zo kunnen zijn dat in dat jaar wereldwijd chaos uitbreekt die kan escaleren in de derde wereldoorlog.
Het getal 7 schijnt voor satanisten/kabbalisten een heel belangrijk nummer te zijn, misschien weet u nog de occulte toepraak van Cristin lagarde.
Wat zou betekenen dat de antichrist al ergens rondloop.
Het bijbel boek Openbaringen is niet in een chronologische volgorde geschreven maar bepaalde zaken toch wel, zoals de twee getuigen ewn een wereldregering, wereldreligie, antichrist etc.
Ik lees graag jullie site en kan mij in heel veel dingen vinden, maar buiten aardse zijn voormij gevallen engelen. En ik vind het ook spijtig dat jullie anti-israel zijn.
Een ieder die de steen Israël heft zal zich zelf deerlijk verwonden. Ik zelf zoek ook al mijn hele leven naar de waarheid, heb de hele bibliotheek uit gelezen in de gevangenis. Aangaande de barensweeën zou het niet kunnen dat één van de sterren in het sterrenbeeld onstabiel is(barensweeën).
Als dat zo is en ze ontploft slingert ze de straling(gamma ray)en haar stof mogelijk richting aarde(draak).
Als dat zo is en we zitten in het vizier van zo een ster zal door de straling veel leven vernietigd worden.

Ik vond het erg interessant, af min 19.40 zie dat er nog een datum is geweest dat dit is voorgekomen, op op 5 augustus -3915 BC.
De tiende:
Met betrekking tot het bericht "Breaking: exacte datum bijbelse eindtijd ontdekt" het volgende.
Iemand die daarmee al langere tijd mee bezig is, vanuit een Bijbels perspectief, is Mark Chiswell.
Het feit dat hij dit doet vanuit een Bijbels perspectief is een niet onbelangrijk gegeven. En in feite de enige manier om met iets waardevols tevoorschijn te komen.
Deze Mark Chiswell is via NASA universum programmatuur 7000 jaar terug gegaan en 1000 jaar vooruit ten opzichte van de huidige tijd om te zien of de stand van Jupiter én de verschijnselen daarmee uniek zijn op 23 september 2017.
Het unieke is dat alleen op die datum het einde is van de "Jupiter in Retrograde" gebeurtenis. Hij legt dat uit in de URL die hieronder is toegevoegd.
In een Excel sheet heeft hij deze gegevens over 800 jaar verzameld en laat zien dat alléén op dié datum dié unieke gebeurtenis gaande is.
Dit komt dan overeen met hetgeen in Openbaring 12:1-2 beschreven staat. Vooral die Excel sheet is uniek.
Openbaring 12 staat tussen twee hoofdstukken in waarin de beroemde periode van drie en half jaar een hoofdrol speelt. Het gaat om de roemruchte Bijbelse "grote verdrukking" die over het land van Israël zal komen. In hoofdstuk 11 is sprake van twee getuigen die gedurende 1260 dagen op het tempelplein profeteren. In Hoofdstuk 13 lezen we van het Beest dat 42 maanden lang godslasteringen uitspreekt.
Een tweede sterke aanwijzing voor de identiteit van de vrouw vinden we in het gegeven dat ze wordt geassocieerd de zon, de maan en twaalf sterren. Dat herinnert aan de droom die Jozef ooit had. Vader Jakob had geen moeite met de uitleg. Hij begreep direct dat dit betrekking had op het huis van Jakob.(Israël) (Niet de huidige zionistische staat) Genesis 37:9,10

Een reactie op uw artikel ‘breaking: Exacte datum bijbelse eindtijd ontdekt’
In de eerste plaats wil ik opmerken, dat vanuit hetzelfde Stellarium programma al eens een andere datum bekend gemaakt is waarop het beeld dat Openbaring 12 schetst te zien zou zijn. De Schepper van hemel en aarde is groter dan een computer programma van de Nasa. En ja, de precieze datum is bekend, maar alleen bij Hem.
Alle referenties hieronder zijn uit bijbelboeken, dit zijn slecht verzen ik raad u aan om het verband waarin de verzen staan te lezen voor een goed beeld.. En bedenk: Openbaring is een ingewikkeld boek moeilijk te begrijpen zonder kennis van de rest van de bijbel (als ik zonder enige voorkennis begin met het wetenschappelijk studiemateriaal Wiskunde begrijp ik er ook niets van). Het linkt o.a. aan de Oudtestamentische boeken van Daniël en Ezechiël.
Openbaring 12 is verbonden met Daniel 12 en Jezus Christus haalt deze aan in Mattheus 24. Het gaat om een periode die de Benauwdheid van Jacob (Israel) of de Verdrukking wordt genoemd. Deze periode van 7 jaar is verdeeld in 2 perioden van elk 3,5 jaar. Openbaring 12 schetst het midden van de periode van 7 jaar (Openbaring 11 doet dit ook).
Op het moment van het beeld in de hemel van de vrouw en de draak zal de antichrist in de tempel in Jeruzalem (deze moet dus nog gebouwd worden, want is er nu nog niet) zich laten vereren als god. Deze persoon is de belichaming van de duivel en zal 3,5 jaar met een extreem dictatoriaal systeem de mensen op aarde beheersen. Er zal niet meer gekocht of verkocht worden zonder zijn merkteken op hoofd of hand. Mensen die het merkteken niet hebben geaccepteerd zullen massaal worden vermoord. Er zullen hevige natuurrampen komen, oorlogen en ziekten en een groot deel van het leven op aarde zal sterven. De ware Joden zullen door God geholpen vluchten naar de woestijn en daar de 3,5 beschermd wonen (Openbaring 12: 6 en 14).
U vraagt in uw artikel: ‘Hoe dan verder?’
Deze vraag zou ik liever anders formuleren: ‘Hoe kunnen we deze tijd vermijden?’
Er is één oplossing gegeven in diezelfde bijbel waardoor mensen niet door deze tijd van ellende hoeven te gaan: Geloof in Jezus Christus (Johannes 3: 16, 36).
Nu is de bijbelse definitie van geloof anders dan de onze: Het gaat om overgave en vertrouwen. Het gaat dus om meer dan het aannemen dat Jezus Christus bestaan heeft. De mens zal de illusie van zijn eigen godheid (de leugen van satan in het paradijs) moeten opgeven en zich afhankelijk moeten tonen aan het offer dat Jezus Christus heeft gebracht aan het kruis 2000 jaar geleden. Hij heeft met Zijn dood voor de zonde betaald, voor de arrogantie van jou en mij.
Jezus zelf vergelijkt de tijd die in Openbaring wordt beschreven met de tijd waarin Noach leefde. God verwoestte het leven op aarde, omdat de mensen zelf bepaalden wat goed en kwaad was, zij waren hun eigen maatstaf, hun eigen god. Alleen Noach die vertrouwde op de Schepper werd gered in de ark. Jezus Christus is, zoals de ark het redmiddel was voor het water, het enige Redmiddel voor de tijd die gaat komen. Hij zal de gelovigen voor de Verdrukking wegnemen van de aarde. Dit is waar jullie ook wel eens over geschreven hebben de Opname of wegrukking (Mattheus 24: 37-41 Thessalonicenzen 4:13-18). Maar het gaat hierbij dus alleen om de mensen die zich door geloof met de Zoon van God, Jezus Christus hebben verbonden!
Maar om jullie vraag toch te beantwoorden: ‘Hoe dan verder?
Aan het eind van de 3,5 jaar verdrukking door de satan (antichrist) zal Jezus Christus terugkomen op aarde en de antichrist verslaan. De draak van Openbaring 12 (satan) zal voor 1000 jaar gevangen gezet worden en Jezus Christus zal vanuit Jeruzalem 1000 jaar regeren op aarde (Genesis 49:9,10 (Juda is de menselijke stamvader van Jezus, zie ook Openbaring 5:5) Openbaring 20: 1-6). Deze tijd zal lijken op de tijd van voor de keus van Adam en Eva om zelf ‘te worden als god’ (Genesis 3)en zal paradijslijk zijn (Jesaja 11:6,7)
Na dit alles zal de draak/satan nog één keer zijn gang kunnen gaan (Openbaring 20:7,8) en de mensen verleiden om zich tegen de Schepper af te zetten. In het gevecht, dat daaruit komt (Armageddon) zal de satan definitief vernietigd worden(Openbaring 20:10). Daarna zal God Zelf de mensen oordelen naar hun werken. Er is dan geen zonde meer (alles dat voortkomt uit het zelf god (maatstaf) willen zijn van de mens) en de scheiding tussen de onzichtbare woonplaats van God (hemel) en de aarde wordt weggenomen (Openbaring 21).
Ik zou willen afsluiten met het volgende: Iedereen kan zich richten op de tijd die gaat komen en beschreven staat in Openbaring en dat is goed. Maar bedenk, dat je vanmiddag onder een auto kunt komen en vervolgens voor de Schepper komt te staan en verantwoording moet af leggen over je geleefde leven… Zoals Petrus (discipel van Jezus) in Handelingen 2: 40 ‘Laat u behouden uit dit verkeerd geslacht!’
De dertiende:
De bijbelse eindtijd (cyclus) voorspelling klopt niet. Het is en blijft een giswerk voor de Mensheid. Het uitleg van vergelijking tot de twee teksten en stellarium kent nog vragen. 12 sterren èèn kroon? Negen van de èèn en drie aparte! De vrouw onder èèn kroon? Niet uitgelicht! Stellarium is een analogische programma. D.w.z. deze geen anomalieën kent.
• Als de bijbelse eindtijd de waarheid is dan zal de uitspraak van dat de Mensheid deze niet zal kennen analistis ook de de waarheid zijn. •
• De vier bijbelse teksten vertaald. De tijd blijft in het ongewisse.
1 Toen was er iets heel bijzonders in de hemel te zien. Ik zag een vrouw (VENUS), stralend als de zon. Ze had de maan (MOON) onder haar voeten en een krans van twaalf sterren (DARK TWIN) om haar hoofd. 2 Ze was in verwachting. Ze schreeuwde van pijn, omdat haar Kind (......?) geboren ging worden.
3 Er was nog iets in de hemel te zien: een grote rode draak (PLANET X) met zeven koppen en tien horens. Op elke kop had hij een kroon. 4 Met zijn staart sleepte hij een derde deel van de sterren (METEOREN/STENEN) van de hemel mee en gooide die op de aarde.
Dit ook een "hypothese ".
Dit is een bijzondere tijd, het NU. De transitie na de IJzeren tijdperk (100 jarige leeftijd) naar de bronzen tijdperk (1000 jarige leeftijd). (zie foto met aantekeningen uit 2014).

Het ziet er toch enigszins uit dat dit de komende anderhalf jaar allemaal gaat plaats vinden, volgens mij duid het teken slechts het begin aan van hetgeen staat te gebeuren. Door Ed Dames wordt gesteld dat we een half jaar last van Nibiru zullen hebben, dan is het dus ongeveer Pasen (pass-over). Zo kan wellicht Palmpasen / Palmzondag (intocht in Jeruzalem) te maken hebben met wanneer Nibiru/Nemisis ons zonnestelsel is binnen gekomen. Zelf alvast een aardig stukje voorbereid, al ben ik geen echte prepper.
Ben wel erg benieuwd wanneer de grote massa eens gaat wakker worden en ziet dat er zoveel niet klopt van wat hun wordt voorgeschoteld. Wanneer dat gebeurd wil je eigenlijk ook niet in de dicht bevolkte gebieden rondwandelen.
Nog even over Openbaring 12, even een aantal van mijn gedachtenspinsels:
Jupiter wordt benoemd als het kind dat geboren wordt (door de maagd heen reist). De vuurrode draak zou dat Nemisis kunnen zijn met 7 koppen (planeten) en 10 hoorns (manen) de kronen ben ik nog niet over uit.
En met zijn staart (spreekt voor zich) sleepte hij een derde van de sterren op aarde (astroiden vanuit de staart van Nibiri of Nemisis).
De draak ging voor de vrouw staan (Nibiri/Nemisis komt tussen de Maagd en ons te staan). De oorlog met Michael en de Engelen zou kunnen duiden op dicht langs of in botsing met een andere planeet komen en zal hierdoor niet meer in ons zonnestelsel terug komen dus een laatste ontmoeting met het stelsel.

Al jarenlang krijgen wij meldingen van mensen die vreemde oranje of witte bollen zien aan de hemel die zich voortbewegen zonder geluid te maken.
Ook nu krijgen wij weer prachtige opnames binnen en de vorm lijkt veel op een object dat onlangs is waargenomen bij de bosbranden in Californië.
Wanneer je in onze database kijkt, dan zie je daar veel artikelen over de vreemde, vaak oranje of witte, bollen.
Mensen die bekendstaan als heel nuchter en soms ook persoonlijk bij ons bekend zijn, doen dit soort waarnemingen en zijn dan vervolgens in verwarring omdat ze niet kunnen begrijpen en/of thuisbrengen wat ze net hebben gezien.
De bollen kunnen of in formaties verschijnen of afzonderlijk, soms bewegen ze met hoge snelheid, andere keren bewegen ze weer langzaam en statig door de lucht en nog nooit is men verder gekomen met een verklaring dan de eeuwige Thaise ballonnen.
Wij ontvingen het volgende bericht van een lezer:
Laat ik mijn naam liever anoniem houden. Zelf ben ik sinds 2012 een trouwe lezer. De familie van mijn vader zijn kant wonende in Spanje, Torre del Mar (vlakbij Malaga), heeft mijn tante een foto en filmopname gemaakt op de avond van 17september waarbij er boven de zee (Middellandse zee) maarlieft circa 13 lichtbollen voortbewogen in een soort patroon.
Hiermee weten we dan ook dat de opnames echt zijn. Dat is heel belangrijk tegenwoordig, omdat het internet wordt vol geplempt met beelden die door oplichters zelf in elkaar zijn geflanst.
Wat is dat wat deze mensen daar zagen die avond op het Spaanse strand?
Vorige maand waren er uitgebreide bosbranden in de Amerikaanse staat Californië. Verslag daarvan werd onder andere gedaan op 19 augustus 2016 vanuit een helikopter van ABC News Channel 15.
En vanuit die helikopter zagen de verslaggevers een vreemd rond object onder zich doorschieten dat zich linea recta in de richting van bosbranden spoedde.
Ook hier weer de witte ronde vorm. Dit keer niet in formatie, maar alleen en duidelijk op weg naar een bepaald doel.
Bekend is dat er vaker UFO’s worden waargenomen bij bosbranden zoals ook vorig jaar in Mexico toen er een enorme cilindervormige UFO boven een bosbrand werd gezien.
Maar, ook hier weer de vraag: Wie zijn het en wat doen ze?

A bright orange line in the sky was spotted by a man in Nashville in Tennessee. The orange line seemed to be two separate lights after zooming in the video recording.
The witness was on a work break when the incident took place. It was at three early in the morning on August 15, 2016, when he noticed a brilliant orange light in the sky, unlike anything he had ever seen in his usual spot for smoking. The brightness of the light caught his attention, as well as the color that appeared like a street light, but way too big.
His first thought was the moon behind cloud cover, but he noticed the moon was directly above him. Furthermore, there wasn’t cloud cover that time. Because it was very dark and the object was far away, the witness could not make out any features on it.
Even after a thorough look, the witness could still not find any details as the lights on the object appeared to cover it. The witness used his phone to record a video of it and after zooming in, he realized the lights were actually two separate lights with a small gap in between. After around a minute, the object started to shrink and turned pure white in a gradual manner. Two minutes later, the object faded away, and the witness lost sight of it.
The unnamed witness reported his sighting to MUFON, and it is filed under case 78626.
Two police officers claim to have recorded on video their close encounter with an unidentified flying object (UFO).
The off-duty duo observed the cigar-shaped UFO moving slowly in the sky above North East of England. The sighting, which took place near Consett in County Durham, lasted for about 30 minutes and many viewers of the video believe it is genuine, including former police detectiveGary Heseltine.
Heseltine said that the sighting took place on a bright clear day, and the mysterious object was observed rotating on its axis vertically.
Garry, UFO Truth Magazine editor, added that the object was approximately at 1,000-5,000 feet in altitude with estimated dimensions of 200 to 400 feet in length. Heseltine also noted that the sun was glinting off an apparent metallic surface as it rotates.
Gary, 56, has been collecting and studying police sightings dating back to 1901, including the reported two security officers’ sighting of a football field-size cylindrical metallic UFO above the house in North Yorkshire in Spring 1981. Feeling alarmed, one officer pulled out his gun, but his colleague prevented him from doing so.
Another case was the sighting of two uniformed officers of a large black silent triangle UFO, about the size of three football pitches, flying over the A40 in Northolt in Middlesex.

A Brief Explanation of the Kardashev Scale: How Far Can Humanity Really Advance?
Let’s be honest, we have our fair share of problems on planet Earth: war, floods, disease, poverty, environmental destruction, Justin Bieber (the list goes on and on, really). But we also have a lot of things going for us: the Alcubierre Warp Drive, invisibility cloaks, the Mars rovermissions, the discovery of the Higgs (the list goes on and on, really).
How can we weigh all the exciting and inspiring scientific discoveries against all the destruction and chaos? We have an ever expanding list of catastrophes that is coupled with (indeed, that parallels) our unrelenting march towards technological perfection. With such a coupling of unimaginable horrors and magnificent advancements, how can we possibly measure our status as a civilization?
One of the easiest ways to answer this question is to form a scale that will allow us to scientifically measure our technological *abilities* against the technological *possibilities.* Or in layman’s terms, something that will allow us to measure our awesomeness against the total possible awesomeness. Fortunately, there are several ways of conducting such measurements.

Essentially, to measure a civilization’s advancement (awesomeness), the Kardashev scale focuses on the amount of energy that a civilization is able to utilize. Notably, the amount of power available to a civilization is linked to how widespread the civilization is (whether it populates a planet, galaxy, or an entire universe).
THE TLDR PART
The Kardashev scale exists because of a Russian astrophysicist known as Nicolai Kardashev (I bet you’ll never guess where the scale got its name from).
In 1964, Kardashev came up with the idea that the status of a culture, as a whole, depends on two primary things: Energy and technology. He theorized that a civilization’s technical advancement runs parallel to the amount of energy that the civilization is able to harness and manipulate. Essentially, the more energy that a society can produce, the more technologically advanced they are (this was originally just tied to energy available for communications, but has since been expanded).
In other words, according to this theory, a culture’s development (in the very widest sense) is a product of energy and of technology: Through technology, energy is harnessed, and as social systems are expressions of this technology, the status of a culture rests upon (and is determined by) the amount of energy that is harnessed.
The scale has a number of different categories (levels of classification…or levels of awesomeness). In recent years, scientists have expanded this scale to measure hypothetical civilizations—civilizations that are galactic, intergalactic, and even multiverse in nature.

CIVILIZATION TYPES
• Type 0: Subglobal Culture—
This civilization extracts its energy and raw-materials from crude organic-based sources such as wood, coal, and oil. Any rockets utilized by such a civilization would necessarily depend on chemical propulsion. Since such travel is so pitifully slow, a civilization at this level would be (for the most part) confined to its home planet. Unfortunately, this is about where we are. We haven’t quite made it to Type I yet :c
• Type I: Planetary Culture—
This civilization would be slightly more advanced than those found on Earth. They would be capable of utilizing all available resources on their home planet, skillfully harnessing the energy output of an entire world (10^15 watts). With any luck (if we don’t blow ourselves to oblivion, or turn the Earth into an uninhabitable wasteland) we will reach this stage in 100-200 years. So maybe your grandkids will be around to see it; there’s some hope in that (assuming you have kids).
Star Trek Rendering of a Type II Civilization
• Type II: Stellar Culture—
This civilization would be far more advanced than we are (a few thousand years beyond our stage of evolution). Such a society would be able to harnesses all the energy of its star (in our case, about 10^26 watts). This culture might resemble the Federation of Planets, as seen on Star Trek; or the civilization might be like a majority of the humanoids in the Mass Effect universe, such as the Asari, Salarians, and Turians.
• Type III: Galactic Culture—
This civilization would be able to harnesses the energy output of a galaxy (about 10 billion times the energy output of a Type II civilization, and about 100,000 to 1 million years more advanced than we are). They have colonized the galaxy itself, extracting energy from hundreds of billions of stars, traveling across interstellar space, and populating innumerable worlds. This civilization may resemble the Borg (but hopefully not as mean and “resistant-is-futile-like”), or perhaps they would resemble the Empire from Star Wars (but hopefully not so Darth-Vader-choke-hold-like), or maybe they would be more like the Reapers from Mass Effect (but hopefully not so break-your-body-down-into-biogoop-like)…did anyone else notice that the civilizations at this level all seem to be evil and horrid?

(Or, said civilizations may ultimately become capable of living INSIDE the event horizon of extra-massive black holes!) For humanity, such accomplishments might be forever beyond our reach. This level may be achievable only by incorporeal beings, such as members of Star Trek’s Q Continuum, or the Gallifreyans from Doctor Who.
• Type V: Multiverse Culture—
This civilization will have transcended their universe of origin. It would be capable of universe-scale manipulation (jumping between multiverses that contain varied forms of matter, physics, and space-time). A civilization such as this would be home to beings of unimaginable power and ability.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
I admit, it is a little disheartening that we haven’t even reached Type I yet. I would like to say something inspiring, like “given our lowly position, there’s nowhere to go but up!” Yet, it is entirely possible that some major catastrophe (be it natural or human induced) will send us spiraling back into the Stone Age.
So, what’s the ultimate take away from all of this?
If we want to advance beyond a Type 0 civilization, we’re going to need to play nice with one another (and maybe invest in science and education; that helps too)
In its early life, the Earth would have been peppered nearly continuously by asteroids smashing into our young planet. These fiery collisions made our world what it is today. It may seem like things have changed since then, given the vast assortment of life and wide blue oceans—and things have indeed changed. At least in some respects. However, Earth still receives thousands of tons of matter from space, but this is in the form of microscopic dust particles (as opposed to recurrent, energetic collisions).
Fortunately, in modern times, a large asteroid colliding with the surface of the Earth happens only very rarely. Nevertheless, it does happen from time to time.
As most are probably already aware, it is widely believed that an asteroid initiated the dinosaurs’ extinction some 65 million years ago. And more recently, the Russian Chelyabinsk meteor hit our planet in February of 2013. It entered at a shallow angle at 60 times the speed of sound. Upon contact with our atmosphere, it exploded in an air burst. The size of this body of rock (before it burned up and shattered) is estimated to be around 20 meters (across) and it weighed some 13,000 metric tons.
This isn’t large by any means, but it was enough to injure over a thousand people and damage nearly 20,000 buildings.
But what would happen if we were faced with a truly major threat today? Could we survive?
Well, it depends on the size of the object and where it hits, but in short…no. Unless an asteroid was very small, we wouldn’t be able to destroy it or vaporize it—this is simply beyond our technological capabilities (at the moment). We also don’t have the technology necessary to deflect the asteroid or veer it off course.
WHY WE NEED TO LEAVE EARTH
This is a bit of a problem because, assuming that humanity plans on sticking around for awhile, it is almost inevitable that we will have to face a large asteroid at some point. Of course, asteroids aren’t the only threat. There are a host of deadly diseases, volcanic eruptions, or other catastrophes that could bring about the end of civilization as we know it (and maybe even all life).
This is why it makes sense to transition into a multi-planet species as soon as possible.Blogger Tim Urban recently had a rather apt metaphor to illustrate why we need to leave our planet and venture out into the cosmos: Picture the Earth as a kind of hard drive. And on this hard drive we have saved everything. Every song. Every book. Every thought that has been thought and every word that has been uttered. Every memory.
And that’s not all: It also houses every single species. All of it is stored in a word document saved on that hard drive.
Oh, and the hard drive has broken before, and when it happened, we lost nearly everything. It got a virus and…that’s it, two-thirds of the population gone. It smashed into something and, alas, there goes another batch of data.
Blank pages. File corrupted.
So it makes sense to make a backup. As Urban puts it, “Now—if you owned a hard drive with an extraordinarily important Excel doc on it, and you knew that the hard drive pretty reliably tended to crash every month or two, with the last crash happening five weeks ago—what’s the very obvious thing you’d do? You’d copy the document onto a second hard drive.”
That is why we need to leave Earth. We need to have another plan. A safeguard.
Of course, we should also do it for exploration and discovery, but we need to do it for life itself. And that is one of the primary reasons that Elon Musk wants to head to the Red Planet. It is a way of ensuring humanity’s continued existence (assuming that we think the document is worth saving). And ultimately, it’s why he doesn’t want to go with just a select set of scientists and experts.
He wants to take a significant portion of the data on our hard drive—Musk would like to send 1 million people to Mars.
At the Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital Conference in 2013, Musk explained his feelings, stating, “Either we spread Earth to other planets, or we risk going extinct. An extinction event is inevitable and we’re increasingly doing ourselves in. The goal is to improve rocket technology and space technology until we can send people to Mars and establish life on Mars.”
Of course, this will be no simple task. Mars is, currently, a wasteland of dirt and sand.
“Mars is a fixer-upper of a planet,” Musk said. “But we could make it work.” And honestly, even if we can’t make it work, it seems that we have no real choice but to try. Musk concludes, “I agree this is an unlikely outcome, but if we don’t keep improving technology every year, we won’t get there.”
Later this year, via his rocket firm SpaceX, Musk plans to disclose a spacecraft designed to transport as many as 100 people at a time to Mars.

Asteroids pose a major threat to the Earth, but NASA is on its way to figuring everything out about these space rocks. NASA will launch the Asteroid Redirect Mission, sending a robotic probe to deflect the asteroid from its dangerous path.

An asteroid impact is still the prime culprit behind the dinosaurs’ extinction. Since then, asteroids have done a good job of avoiding the Earth.
We can’t be that lucky forever though, right? Should we ready ourselves for similar disasters? After all, asteroids still find their way here and manage to pass through our atmosphere, causing major damage.
In 1908, a meteorite explosion occurred near the Tunguska River in Russia. The impact didn’t kill any humans, but cleared 2,070 square kilometers (800 square miles) of the Siberian forests. A more recent explosion happened last 2013 in Chelyabinsk city in Russia. The meteorite fell on a populated area, injuring about 1,200 people
These events are rare and are unlikely to happen again any time soon, but it does pay to be ready.
NO NEED TO PANIC

John Holdren, director of the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy, shared that NASA is on the lookout for the asteroids that are most likely to hit the earth. “We are not fully prepared, but we are on a trajectory to get much more so,” says Holdren.
By 2021, NASA aims to launch the Asteroid Redirect Mission (ARM), a robotic mission sending a space probe to visit a near-Earth asteroid. The robotic probe will explore the asteroid and look for the best way to change its path, aiming to send the asteroid orbiting our moon. Upon returning to Earth, the probe will bring with it samples of the asteroid for more studies.
The ARM cost $1.25 billion. But it’s all worth it if we can learn more about how to deal with meteor explosions, however rare they maybe. “If we are going to be as capable a civilization as our technology allows, we need to be prepared for even those rare events, because they could do a lot of damage to the Earth,” says Holdren.
Essentially, we have to be smarter than the dinosaurs.
