(WCCO) — Every now and then, someone calls 911 about mysterious objects in the sky. Most can be explained away as atmospheric conditions or aircraft — or sometimes just too much whiskey. But to this day, a Minnesota UFO sighting from the ‘70s is considered more credible than most, in part because of who called it in. Marshall County sheriff’s deputy Val Johnson was on patrol in the early morning hours of Aug. 27, 1979, when he spotted something strange along a rural highway. The president of the Marshall County Historical Society, Kent Broten, knows the story well. “What (Deputy Johnson) saw was a bright object, maybe like a foot in diameter, about three and a half feet off the ground,” Broten said. “As he explained it in the news reports, what was there all of a sudden was here, so the light just shot at him, engulfed his car in light and blinded him.” Thirty-six years later, the deputy’s damaged squad car is still what brings most people in, to the Marshall County Museum. Herb Maurstad, a fellow deputy at the time, is still at a loss to explain how the car’s antennas became warped at different angles, the windshield was smashed, a headlight broken and the hood dented. The dashboard clock stopped for 14 minutes, as did Deputy Johnson’s watch, before starting up again. Maurstad said an expert from Ford Motor Company inspected the windshield and said the cracks were unusual. He said it’s not the type of shattering you would get if you hit the windshield with a hammer, for example. “You can see that it wasn’t Val Johnson’s head that hit there because it’s in the wrong place,” Maurstad said. “Way too low.” Broten stops short of calling it an alien encounter. “It doesn’t mean it’s from outer space,” he said. “It’s just an unidentified flying object hit it and it just hasn’t been explained, so it’s unidentified.” Johnson was treated for welder-type burns to his eyes.
His supervisor at the time was Sheriff Dennis Brekke, who is now retired. “We do believe that our deputy had an encounter with something that we haven’t been able to explain yet on this date,” Brekke said, “and there’s a lot of interest because of that, I guess.” The Internet has brought about new interest over the past several years. Conspiracy theorists are still trying to solve what law enforcement, mechanical inspectors and the Center for UFO Studies could not. “I don’t know what happened,” Brekke said. “I know in my own mind I did the best job we could, me and my department, to investigate and find out what went on. And all we found out is: We don’t know.” Maurstad, who later became Marshall County Sheriff, said he now believes in UFOs. “Yeah, I kind of do,” he said. “There’s got to be something more than us around.” Johnson is now retired and living in western Wisconsin. Reached by phone, Johnson said there’s already so much information out there, he really prefers not to talk about this anymore.

A woman claimed to have seen a glowing object in the sky above the capital of Buryatia, Russia. The photo of the object, which was particularly taken in Ulan-Ude, shows lots of green lights and some red and blue colors.
The photo was first uploaded to Vkontakte – the Russian version of social media site Facebook.
The reporting witness was with her son when the bizarre object vanished and then reappeared. Two passers-by were in the area too, the woman witness said.
According to her, the object stopped right over them, but she could not say a word and noticed two men running to hide in a building.
She described it as a gigantic saucer with glowing green lights in the middle. The witness’ son got scared and grabbed her hand, and they ran away.
The sighting is the latest in the series of sightings above the region.
An Ulan-Ude resident said that bright glowing objects were common in the area. He also personally saw a bright object from a balcony in the night.
Someone else claimed to have spotted red lights in the sky before they disappeared.
Mysterious UFO sightings have been all over the world in 2015.
Since the dawn of man, UFO sightings have been reported. These sightings were being recorded with Cave patterns and layouts dated back to 8000 B.C.E. It was also the time when the first and actual documented incidents are starting to appear in the 1600s. When the first sighting appeared will forever remain a mystery. For all we know, the first man ever created or evolved, depending on your theory of choice, sighted the first strange object. What was the mysterious object he sighted back in 310,000,000 B.C.? In all honesty, it was probably an insect or bird. After all, UFO stands for an unidentified flying object. The first man would not have been able to identify the winged creature at first glance. However, usually we are not thinking about an insect or bird when discussing UFO sightings.
Practically speaking, UFO sightings today are synonymous with aliens. Thousands of reports have come forward claiming to see extraterrestrial space origins. The general public often greets These people with mass amounts of skepticism and distrust. However, is the Nebraska witness at Omaha an exception to the rule? Omaha is being considered as the largest city in Nebraska. It holds a population of 446,599. It was being reported that there was an appearance of white cloud moving closer revealing a massive and boomerang-shaped object. As the witness stepped on the third-floor deck, the occurrence occurred at 8:20 p.m. on October 4, 2015. As it moved closer, it altered its shape into a V-shaped craft. As it moved to the south, there is no faint sound of the wind, and there were no lights. When it appeared in front of the witness, it was estimated to be 10 feet above. The image seemed to be a massive object. Though experts denied the claim, they cannot deny that there are still many sightings seen by other people around the world.

Many depictions of flying crafts have been found across the globe, characterized in different ways – some were beaked appearances, others had the round or spherical shape that is also known today; some were red and resembled a circle of fire while others were yellow and spit fire.
Scientists may contradict these depictions, considering the ancient Earth dwellers primitive and with an inadequate way of thinking, relating sightings such as these with too much enthusiasm, therefor altering the actual reality.
However, the ancient Egyptians are renowned for their advanced understanding and techniques, also for their knowledge over astronomy which was very advanced for that time.
An interesting evidence concerning the UFO encounters of the past is the Tulli papyrus – an ancient text telling of great flying machineries that spit fire and scouted the Egyptian sky before they vanished into outer space.
Researchers have denied its authenticity and meaning because this ancient document would otherwise change our current history as we know it, or at least add an impressive fact about otherworldly beings.
The event was witnessed by an Egyptian Pharaoh – Thutmose the 3rd, who afterwards ordered his scribes to write about this event in The Annals of Life so that “it be remembered for all time forward”.
The strange occurrence happened around 1480 BC, and had the entire Egyptian army witness it.
Here is the translated text from the mysterious papyrus:
In the year 22, in the 3rd month of winter, in the sixth hour of the day, the scribes of House of Life noticed a circle of fire that was coming from the sky. From the mouth it emitted a foul breath. It had no head. Its body was one rod long and one rod wide. It had no voice.
And from that the hearts of the scribes became confused and they threw themselves down on their bellies, then they reported the thing to the Pharaoh. His majesty ordered […] and he was meditating on what had happened, that it was recorded in the scrolls of the House of Life.”
Some portions of the papyrus are erased or barely interpreted, but the majority of the text is accurate enough to let us understand what had happened during that mystical day. The rest of the text as it follows:
Now after some days had passed, these things became more and more numerous in the skies. Their splendor exceeded that of the sun and extended to the limits of the four angles of the sky. High and wide in the sky was the position from which these fire circles came and went. The army of the Pharaoh looked on with him in their midst. It was after supper.
Then these fire circles ascended higher into the sky and they headed toward the south.Fish and birds then fell from the sky.A marvel never before known since the foundation of their land. And Pharaoh caused incense to be brought to make peace with Earth, and what happened was ordered to be written in the Annals of the House of Life so that it be remembered for all time forward.
This document presents a very important day in human history – when UFOs made their presence noticed to thousands of people from the ancient Egypt, including their ruler.
Even though the text doesn’t mention anything about a ground or physical contact with the flying beings, it describes a unique encounter which ended mysteriously as fish and birds fell from the sky when the flying saucers left.
The ancient Egyptians probably saw this as a divine wander, a sign of great importance and at the same time great power over life and death.
In present days, events like this are not a wonder anymore, that’s why we believe the cause of death of the depicted animals occurred as a result of the flying saucers emissions or maybe sonar waves.
Whatever the case, we can interpret the strange deaths as a result of advanced alien technology, adding more credibility to the fact that there were indeed UFOs who visited ancient Egypt that day.
Unfortunately, the original papyrus has been lost or is in hideout, only copies remain. When researcher Samuel Rosenberg requested a chance to study the original document from the Vatican, he received the following answer:
The Papyrus Tulli not property of Vatican Museum. Now it is dispersed and no more traceable.
It is speculated that the Vatican holds some of the most valuable documents regarding the human history. If this is the case, it’s understandable why they chose not to reveal this papyrus of great importance.
Further attempts to study this paper have been made, but without success. An inquiry was sent to DR. Walter Ramberg, Scientist working for the US embassy in Rome, who replied:
The current Director of the Egyptian Section of the Vatican Museum, Dr. Nolli, said that Prof. Tulli had left all his belongings to a brother of his who was a priest in the Lateran Palace. Presumably the famous papyrus went to this priest.
Unfortunately the priest died also in the meantime and his belongings were dispersed among heirs, who may have disposed of the papyrus as something of little value.
It’s unlikely that the Vatican let a document of such importance slip away from their hands but, presuming it did, we can only hope that someone stumbles upon it in an antique shop like its previous owner, Alberto Tulli did.

Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs as they are commonly known, have been witnessed by millions of people all over the world and have been recorded in history books, myths, legends and traditions for thousands of years. However, many accounts that are recorded in ancient texts are dismissed as mere myths and legends, while UFO sightings that have taken place in the last few centuries have been classified as misinterpretations of natural phenomena, illusions, or conspiracy theories.
History has shown us time and again that a plethora of so-called ‘myths’ have their basis in reality. It is possible, and indeed likely, that stories and legends were a way for people to explain real—and perhaps perplexing—events using the knowledge and beliefs of their time. In support of this theory, a number of events described in mythology, which were once considered mere fairy tales, have now been proven through archaeology to have existed. A famous example is the city Troy, which is central to Homer’s ‘The Iliad’. Long considered to be a city of myth, Heinrich Schliemann’s discovery of the actual site in 1868 elevated it to a place in history. Nevertheless, the remainder of The Iliad is still viewed as a myth and fantasy without any serious attempts being made to investigate whether or not there may be more truth behind the tale. The same goes for many accounts of ‘flying machines’, which we find reference to in countless mythologies from numerous different cultures around the world.

It is common to see people selectively decide what is real and what is not and all of this on the unsubstantiated assumption that ancient people were primitive and had little to no knowledge compared to us today. On the contrary, manyancient civilizations, like the Sumerians, Indus Valley, and Egyptians existed with complex social structures, legal systems, art, astronomy, mathematics, and technology, some of which is still not fully understood today. The Antikythera Mechanism, for example, is a 2,200-year-old mechanical device that is still not completely understood despite decades of research by top scientists around the world.
Ancient Astronaut Theory
The topic of flying objects and supernatural beings from out of our world is one in which we find multiple references in mythologies. All of these myths and legends, along with archaeological evidence such as rock art depictions, have created a wave of theories that gave birth to the ‘Ancient Astronaut’ perspective, which links all of these ancient references and depictions to UFOs, and posits that extra-terrestrials visited Earth and made contact with humans in antiquity and prehistory, influencing the development of human cultures, technologies, and religions.
Unfortunately, there are numerous charlatans who have tried to ‘cash in’ on this movement for profit or publicity, or who have diminished it with caricatures of little green men, resulting in the ancient astronaut perspective being widely criticized and attacked for its lack of credibility. Consequently, what is in fact a plausible and possible explanation for what we see in ancient art and texts, is now rarely examined by scholars, who fear being ridiculed or having their professional career seriously undermined.

UFO sightings in recent history
But let’s leave the ancient past for a while and examine just the last 80 years of human history. Millions of people all over the globe have witnessed unidentified flying objects. Many have been recorded in detailed reports witnessed by police, pilots, astronauts, government officials, pilots, military personnel and, of course, ordinary citizens. Some of the more well-known cases were witnessed by thousands of people at one time. Historical records make it evident that UFO appearances magnified during and after World War II, including the example of the famous ‘Foo Fighters’.
While most sightings can be explained either by celestial phenomena, airplanes, planets, weather phenomena, military exercises, or in some cases drug use or mental instability, there still exists a small percentage that cannot be accounted for by any of these explanations. This is what makes the phenomena important and not to be ignored, particularly considering that sightings are frequently reported around military bases and airfields and are therefore, at the very least, a matter of both national security and air safety.
It is an undeniable fact that there are cases of unidentified objects in our skies. It has been acknowledged by the major governments from all over the world simply through the very fact that official research has been conducted on the matter in the US, UK, Russia, Europe, China, South America, and many others. All of this research, in every single case, concluded that there is a percentage of phenomena that cannot be explained.
In the past decade, many countries have declassified their UFO research files, releasing thousands of documents through the Freedom of Information Act and making numerous UFO cases available in the public domain. One recently released document from the UFO files in Britain, revealed how Churchill, concerned about the UFO issue, ordered a shutdown of information for at least 50 years to prevent mass panic and the potential to undermine religious beliefs. The document in question was also published on the BBC news site in 2010.
By doing careful research on the topic, passing over obvious scam and fake stories, it is clear to see that unidentified flying objects do exist. So the question is not whether they exist or not, but rather, what are they? Are they of terrestrial or extra-terrestrial origin? And what is their purpose?
UFOs and the limits of science
Many prominent scientists have already stated that other civilizations must exist in the Universe, and that it would be statistically impossible for this not to be the case. However, with our knowledge of science and technology today, we cannot yet support the means for interstellar travel, and since we have not discovered intelligent life in our solar system, the assumption is made that there must be no way that extra-terrestrials could have travelled to Earth. However, this argument is of course flawed because it is based within the framework of our own understanding of the universe, and does not take into account the capabilities of civilizations that may be millions of years ahead of our own. It also hinges on the following assumptions:
We know everything about physics and reality and therefore there is no way that such distant travel can be achieved.
We are using our means to try to contact other civilizations (e.g. SETI’s attempts to pick up radio or communication signals) and since we don’t perceive any signals of OUR type, nothing must exist.
We are looking for organic forms of life exactly like us and for planets with the exact same conditions as ours.
It is clear that these arguments show the arrogance of mankind, a mankind that may just be an infant in the Universe. And this is not new. During the history of humanity, in every single period of time, we believed that we knew the truth, only to have it replaced later on by new ‘knowledge’.

Quantum physics, still a relatively new and unexplored field in Science, has shown that reality could be completely different to what we believe it to be. Powerful telescopes have shown distant planets in solar systems that could possibly sustain life. Theories of wormholes and warp drives have shown that at a theoretical level we could achieve interstellar travel. Yes, we would require incredible amounts of energy to even think of trying to achieve something like this, so according to our standards today it is impossible to achieve, but in theory it can be achieved.
“It now seems quite clear that Earth is not the only inhabited planet. There is evidence that the bulk of the stars in the sky have planetary systems. Recent research concerning the origin of life on Earth suggests that the physical and chemical processes leading to the origin of life occur rapidly in the early history of the majority of planets within our Milky Way galaxy–perhaps as many as a million–are inhabited by technical civilizations in advance of our own. Interstellar space flight is far beyond our present technical capabilities, but there seems to be no fundamental physical objections to preclude, from our own vantage point, the possibility of its development by other civilizations.”Carl Sagan, Ph.D. (Late Professor of Astronomy and Space Sciences, Cornell University)
Reluctance to engage with the UFO subject
The reason that the scientific community is not dealing seriously with UFOs is because the topic has been extensively ridiculed both by the media and in academic circles, with false information spread everywhere. For similar reasons, military personnel, astronauts, pilots, and other categories of professionals do not want to talk because, either they have been forced to sign confidentiality agreements, or because of fear that their careers would be destroyed. This is why we have seen many examples of ‘death bed confessions’.
One such case was with astronaut Gordon Cooper, who told the world about his experience encountering a UFO during his flight in the Mercury capsule in 1963. Before he died he stated: “for many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists in astronautics. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us”.
While great efforts have been made to ridicule and disparage anyone who lends support to the existence of UFOs, the fact remains that there are numerous high-profile cases that are supported by solid evidence, and which should not be dismissed.
Recorded UFO sightings with extensive witness support
Below I present a very limited list constituting strong evidence for the existence of unidentified flying objects in the last 60 years.
November 1942 – LA Incident, known as the Battle of LosAngeles
It all happened in the early hours of February 25 in 1942. An aircraft flew over LA County that sparked an air raid alert (it was in the midst of WWII). Searchlights and guns were locked onto the aircraft for about an hour. The picture below appeared in the LA Times in a story about the Battle of LA It clearly shows a night time defensive response to an air raid. The aircraft was not hostile and obviously was not damaged by the attack. The Government stated that the craft they were shooting at was unidentified.
This incident involved a group of American servicemen stationed at a military base in Suffolk that contained a storage centre with nuclear weapons. There had been three consecutive night of sighting objects in the sky over the base, in some cases shining a light down upon the nuclear weapons storage. On the third night, approximately two dozen servicemen were sent into the forest to investigate one set of mysterious lights. The men reported seeing a spacecraft on the ground in close proximity to them and three extra-terrestrial beings. One serviceman claimed to have touched the craft. The whole incident was filmed and photographed by one of the servicemen, but all photos and videos were removed by the US military. When the British Government released the UFO files, the Rendlesham incident papers were missing – as reported on BBC.
In November, 1986, a Japanese crew of a jumbo freighter aircraft witnessed three enormous unidentified objects while flying over Alaska, USA. This sighting gained international attention when the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that it was going to officially investigate this sighting because the Air Route Traffic Control Center in Anchorage, Alaska, had reported that the UFO had been detected on radar. The UFOs in this case were tracked on both ground and airborne radar, witnessed by experienced airline pilots, and confirmed by a FAA Division Chief.

The Belgium UFO wave began in November 1989. The events of 29 November would be documented by no less than thirty different groups of witnesses, and three separate groups of police officers. All of the reports related to a large object flying at low altitude. The craft was of a flat, triangular shape, with lights underneath. This giant craft did not make a sound as it slowly moved across the landscape of Belgium. The Belgium UFO wave peaked with events on the night of 30/31 March 1990. On that night, unknown objects were tracked on radar, chased by two Belgian Air Force F16s, photographed, and were sighted by an estimated 13,500 people on the ground – 2,600 of whom filed written statements describing in detail what they had seen. Following the incident, the Belgian air force released a report detailing the events of that night.
The Phoenix Lights (also identified as “Lights over Phoenix”) was a UFO sighting which occurred in Phoenix, Arizona, and Sonora, Mexico on Thursday, March 13, 1997. Lights of varying descriptions were seen by thousands of people between 19:30 and 22:30 MST, in a space of about 300 miles (480 km), from the Nevada line, through Phoenix, to the edge of Tucson. Witnesses claim to have observed a huge square-shaped UFO, containing five spherical lights or possibly light-emitting engines. Fife Symington, the governor at the time, was one witness to this incident; he later called the object “otherworldly.”
On the night of August 30, a cluster of multi-colored lights was seen floating in the sky above Osaka. Several people reported to Twitter that they saw a group of lights forming a triangular shape and flashing green, red and white in the night sky above Izumi city in Osaka Prefecture. The sightings caused a commotion on Twitter after one user wrote: “Everyone in Osaka, go outside! There’s a UFO!” prompting others to grab their cameras and snap up photos of mysterious luminous object.
At approximately 16:15 CST on Tuesday November 7, 2006, federal authorities at Chicago O’Hare International Airport received a report that a group of twelve airport employees were witnessing a metallic, saucer-shaped craft hovering over Gate C-17.
The object was first spotted by a ramp employee who was pushing back United Airlines Flight 446, which was departing Chicago for Charlotte, North Carolina. The employee apprised Flight 446’s crew of the object above their aircraft. It is believed that both the pilot and co-pilot also witnessed the object.
Several independent witnesses outside of the airport also saw the object. According to the Chicago Tribune’s Jon Hilkevitch, “The disc was visible for approximately two minutes and was seen by close to a dozen United Airlines employees, ranging from pilots to supervisors, who heard chatter on the radio and raced out to view it.”
The incident took place on May 2007 at 14.00 local time in Lima Peru. A series of moving lights resembling an armada of flying objects appeared in the skies. The story was reported on the news and was seen by thousands of people.
An unidentified flying object that disrupted air traffic in Hangzhou for an hour on Wednesday, 10th of July 2010. A flight crew preparing for descent first detected the object around 8:40 p.m. and notified the air traffic control department. Aviation authorities responded within minutes, grounding outbound flights and diverting inbound ones to airports in Ningbo and Wuxi. Eighteen flights were affected. A spokesman from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) confirmed to ABC News that the matter is under investigation. He declined to disclose further details. A day after the sighting, however, an anonymous source told China Daily that authorities already discovered the identity of the UFO after an investigation but could not publically disclose the information because “there was a military connection.”
Disclosure
Many would say that the above examples constitute irrefutable proof that extra-terrestrial UFOs exist. So why isn’t the public told about it? Imagine the implications that disclosure would have and what it would mean. Acknowledgment of extra-terrestrial civilizations having visited Earth would mean that many of the myths and legends of the past are in fact based on reality. It would suggests that humanity has been influenced for millennia by other-worldly beings, beings that in the past were considered gods. Disclosure would entirely topple the status quo and the balance of powers in society, and turn upside down what we know about the history of mankind.

HOW SCIENTISTS SEARCH THE COSMOS FOR ENCRYPTED ALIEN SIGNALS (AND OTHER ONES TOO)
In a recent conversation with National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson asked about communication with alien civilizations, and how such messages might be encoded.
In any advanced civilization, there is only a “small period in the development of their society when all of their communications will be sent via the most primitive and most unprotected means,” Snowden said. And that if we pick up signals emanating from that civilization’s homeworld, such as television shows, phone calls, or satellite communication, it will most likely be encrypted because “all of their communications [would be] encrypted by default.” Because of how encryption works, those encrypted messages would be “indistinguishable to us from cosmic microwave background radiation.”
Snowden was right about encrypted content looking like noise, but he was wrong about what scientists can tell by looking for alien metadata. Whether or not aliens use encryption, we can tell the difference between signals sent through space using transmitters and natural sources of radio signals — such as the radiation left over from when the universe first cooled down enough for photons to decouple themselves from the rest of matter, shortly after the Big Bang.
The media coverage of this conversation has mostly been abysmal nonsense (“Snowden says aliens could be trying to get in touch right now” on CNET, “Edward Snowden Has A Depressing Theory About Aliens” on Huffington Post, “Snowden Re-Emerges from Russian Isolation With Alien Encryption Theories” on Digital Trends) with some sprinkles of evidence-based coverage from Live Science, also carried by Scientific American.
Today I’m going to dive into the science of searching for extraterrestrial life in our galaxy, communicating across interstellar distances, and the role that encryption and information theory play in all of this.
Are aliens real?
“If you want to think the Earth is the only one that has intelligence, there’s no way to prove that that’s wrong,” says Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, a scientific and educational nonprofit devoted to the search for extraterrestrial life. “But that’s a really remarkable statement that suggests that there’s something extraordinarily unusual about this world. And that strikes me as maybe not such a reasonable assumption.”
We have never found any direct evidence of alien intelligence, but personally, I’m betting on the aliens. Our home galaxy, the Milky Way, is a big place, and as far as we know, all it takes for life to evolve is the right environment. Exoplanets that could support life are extremely abundant in our galaxy. “We believe that the number of planets out there that could be habitable, just in the Milky Way, is tens of billions,” says Shostak. “It might be as many as a hundred billion.”
In 1952, Stanley Miller, under the supervision of Harold Urey, conducted agroundbreaking experiment that proved that you can take a primordial soup of the basic molecules that made up Earth’s pre-life environment (water vapor, methane, ammonia, and hydrogen), add some electricity — the same stuff that comes from lightning — and you get the amino acids that are a main component of the stuff of life.
Once life exists on a planet, given enough time, it might evolve the kind of intelligence that will let it communicate with radios, like it did on Earth.
Are aliens trying to communicate with us?
You might think browsing the web with the privacy-enhancing Tor Browseris slow, but the latency of bouncing your signals around Earth a few times is nothing at all compared to interstellar communication — sending signals between the stars. If aliens send us a signal, or if we’re sending a signal out to aliens, the signal will only be moving at the speed of light, the fastest speed that nature allows.

If we discover evidence of aliens living in a star system 1,000 light-years away — which is still just in our neighborhood, considering that our galaxy is over 100,000 light-years in diameter — and we send them a message, it will take a millennium before they receive it. If they decide to send a response, we’ll need to wait another millennium after that before we know if they even received it to begin with.
If aliens in that star system right now are monitoring our star for evidence of intelligence, all of the signals they are receiving from humans left Earth in the year 1015. At that time, the Vikings had recently founded small settlements in North America; the Byzantine Empire was conquering the First Bulgarian Empire; and Iraqi scientist Alhazen, regarded as humanity’s first theoretical physicist, wrote the Book of Optics while under house arrest in Egypt.
Communication with alien civilizations should be possible as long as we can receive their signals and they can receive ours, however it will be very slow. Proxima Centauri, our nearest stellar neighbor, is over 4 light-years away from us. If we’re lucky enough to find an alien civilization there that’s alive and detectable at the same time as our civilization is looking for life — and that’s an enormous, unlikely if — then it may be possible to communicate with them. Sending a message and receiving a response will take over eight years, though, so it might take many human lifetimes’ worth of communication before coming up with a common language that we both understand.
So are aliens trying to communicate with us? If they are, we haven’t noticed yet. Discovering the metadata — the fact that aliens exist and are using radios to send messages — is the first barrier that we must tackle before we even attempt to look at the content — what the aliens are saying.
SETI is monitoring for metadata, not content
Can we tell the difference between messages sent from extraterrestrial civilizations and natural sources of radiation? “Galaxies make a lot of radio noise. Quasars make a lot of radio noise. Black holes makes some radio noise, and centers of galaxies,” Shostak told me. “All these things make radio noise. But it’s different than a transmitter. A transmitter tends to be on one spot on the radio dial. It’s a narrow-band emission.”

The goal of SETI’s experiments right now is to find alien transmitters, which, assuming they use technology similar to ours, can be detected regardless of encryption. If scientists find a radio signal that can’t occur naturally (as far as we know), and that’s a narrow-band emission — occupying a small slice of the radio spectrum, like when you tune your radio to 93.6 FM — then that signal could be produced by extraterrestrial intelligence, even if the message is encrypted. Any message sent through space by an alien civilization will look different than natural radiation, and those differences are what SETI is searching for.
In fact, in the process of looking for evidence of alien metadata, the content itself, whether it’s encrypted or not, gets destroyed. Shostak says that SETI’s radio experiments “average the incoming signals, if there are any, for at least seconds, and usually for minutes,” which will lose any information in the message. We would need much bigger instruments than we’re currently using if we want to record the content of signals from interstellar space.
“It’s like the ‘on the air’ sign you might see in a radio studio doesn’t tell you what the content is,” Shostak explains. “The content might be Top 40, it might be talk radio, who knows what it is? But you at least know they’re on the air.”
Indistinguishable from random
Scientists aren’t going to confuse an encrypted signal from aliens with cosmic microwave background radiation, or other natural sources of radio noise that we understand, because they’re searching for how the signal was transmitted, not what the signals says. But once we start looking at the content of signals from space, Snowden was entirely right when he said, “You can’t distinguish a properly encrypted communication […] from random noise.”
This property of cryptosystems, that encrypted messages are indistinguishable from random data, is known as ciphertext indistinguishability and is necessary to prevent things like the known-plaintext attack from working. The Nazi Enigma machines were vulnerable to known-plaintext attacks, which is how Alan Turing and his team at Bletchly Park defeated their encryption during World War II.
Ciphertext indistinguishability only refers to the scrambled message. In practice, you can often easily tell if a piece of information is encrypted because of its protocol. For example, if you see a block of random-looking characters that begins with “—–BEGIN PGP MESSAGE—–” there’s a good chance that’s an encrypted message. But without having the right key, you can’t actually confirm that the scrambled message part of it isn’t just random noise.
Most everyday encryption loudly proclaims not only that it’s encrypted, but exactly how it’s encrypted. Otherwise, legitimate recipients who hold the decryption keys won’t understand how they’re supposed to decrypt it. This isn’t true of deniable encryption, and it also wouldn’t be true if we recorded a piece of an encrypted message from aliens mid-stream, failing to record any protocol information associated with the message.
Check out this short video from Khan Academy‘s free online cryptography class explaining one-time pads, which Snowden describes to Tyson. One-time pads are the only type of encryption that have been proven to be perfect and uncrackable so long as they’re used correctly and the attacker cannot steal the key.
When we do receive an alien signal, how do we know what it says?
Picture this: You’re at the headquarters of the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, USA, Earth, Solar System, the Milky Way. It’s the hopefully-not-too-distant future, and for the first time SETI has just recorded the content of a message from an extraterrestrial civilization. We are not alone.
Now that you have an alien message, how are you going to know what it says? Is it encrypted, or is it perhaps an alien Golden Record, full of information about their history, culture, and technology? We don’t speak their language, and we have never communicated before. All we have is a stream of data to work from, but we know that it came from extraterrestrial intelligence.
In order to learn how much information is in the message, you can do “a statistical analysis on the signal and see if it has what’s called low entropy,” Shostak tells me. “If it has patterns in it, if it has repetitions in it at all, even though you don’t understand a single word of what they’re saying, you can determine that there’s information in it.”
This measurement of entropy is similar to how you might measure thestrength of a password. Entropy is random noise. Entropy is essential for encryption — for example, if you’re encrypting something with a one-time pad, you want your key to be made of pure entropy, to have zero patterns, to be entirely random and uncertain. Information resolves uncertainly. A message that contains information will be at least somewhat predictable.
If you have 10 minutes to spare, watch this intriguing video from Khan Academy‘s free online information theory class. It describes SETI’s early work in measuring the entropy of signals by recording baby humans in their “babbling phase,” when they’re just learning to speak, and comparing that to the entropy present in adult human speech — and also comparing this to baby and adult dolphin communications. Based on how much entropy is in dolphin communication — that is, how much of it is entirely random versus how much of it is predictable — it appears that dolphins, like humans, communicate in a structured language. Without knowing anything about the aliens who sent us this signal, you can tell if their message, too, is structured.
Of course, if this message is properly encrypted — if it’s an alien television show or phone call from a civilization where everything is encrypted by default — the content will be indistinguishable from random, which means it will appear to be full of entropy. Although we might be confident that the signal was produced by aliens, we wouldn’t be able to glean any information from the content of the message.
“I don’t doubt that they use encryption technology, at least for their internal communications,” Shostak told me. But if aliens were trying to communicate with us, there’s no way that they would encrypt that message. Instead, they would use “anti-encryption,” encoding their message so that it’s as easy as possible for us to understand. “They would try and make it simple,” Shostak says. “They would send you pictures.”
Encryption is only useful if the recipient can decrypt the messages. Earth scientists listening to the stars can’t make sense of a random signal from space any more than they can break the encryption of a one-time pad — they simply can’t, because it’s not possible.

SUPER-SPEED rocket jets capable of taking passengers into space and from London to Sydney in just four hours moved a step closer today, thanks to investment in a British firm developing the futuristic engines.

Aerospace and defence giant BAE Systems confirmed that it's stumping up £20.6million to buy a stake in Reaction Engines and partner with the Oxfordshire-based company to build the new technology.
Reactions Engines has already been working on SABRE, an engine that is half rocket and half jet and set to revolutionise hypersonic air and space travel.
The technology would see aircraft go from standstill on the runway to speeds of more than five times the speed of sound in the atmosphere, before transitioning into a 'rocket mode' to allow spaceflight at a stomach-churning equivalent of 25 times the speed of sound.
The partnership between the two firms is to speed up the development of the air-breathing rocket engine, which has already had independent technical assessments that have confirmed its viability and potential vehicle applications.
The Government is also expected to confirm grant funding of £60million for Reaction Engines to further SABRE’s development and to investigate its applications for space access vehicles.
Jo Johnson MP, Minister for Universities and Science said: “This investment by BAE Systems reflects the strength of British engineering and technology ad our ambitions as a leading space nation.
"I am sure that this partnership will strengthen both organisations - helping to create more jobs in the UK’s growing space sector and ultimately to make the SABRE engine a reality.”
Under the deal, FTSE 100-listed BAE Systems is to provide key industrial and technical resources, plus the extra funding needed to push the project forward.
BAE Systems will also be a preferred supplier relationship to Reaction Engines in select areas and will also have representation on the board of Reaction Engines.
Mark Thomas, managing director, Reaction Engines Limited said: "Today’s announcement represents an important landmark in the transition of Reaction Engines from a company that has been focused on the research and testing of enabling technologies for the SABRE engine to one that is now focused on the development and testing of the world’s first SABRE engine.
"BAE Systems brings industry leading capabilities in programme delivery and wider engineering systems integration that will accelerate the development of SABRE as a new engine class and its vehicle applications. This partnership builds on the outstanding technical breakthroughs that Reaction Engines has made and the positive assessments received on the potential of the technology from experts at the European Space Agency and the United States’ Air Force Research Laboratory (‘AFRL’)1.”

POSSIBLE MASS ALIEN ABDUCTION IN THE WOODS OF OHIO

I feel compelled to relate this incident even though so many years have passed. One summer evening when I was in the Explorer Scouts our leader, after our meeting, asked if the unit would like to hike down to our local small-town reservoir to check out the night sky. It was a beautiful clear and warm evening and a perfect time to go star searching.
At the reservoir there was a pumping station built out over the water with a concrete cat-walk leading out to the station, a perfect place for viewing. We were gathered along the walkway when someone shouted “there’s a falling star.” A mega-bright glowing, reddish/orange/yellow circular orb of light appeared over the horizon, streaking through the sky, did not burn out or disappear, but instead, seemingly a second or less, slowed and hovered almost directly over our heads. Stationary only momentarily, it began to circle the periphery of the water, slightly above the treetops.
The reservoir is surrounded by trees and woods and the water area covers multiple acres. If memory serves it circled the area approximately 3 times and then as abruptly as it appeared it was gone in a flash streaking back over the horizon from the way it had come. I don’t remember anyone speaking during the event or moving in the least. I have never had a feeling quite like that; totally awestruck and immobile. I do not think I could have moved to save my life and I was not able to speak until after the object had disappeared. Thinking back over the years, but even more so recently, I have thought it odd that walking home that evening from the reservoir I don’t remember anyone really talking much about what we had just seen, neither our leader nor the 10-12 other boys in our group. Nor did we ever mention it again. When back for a high school reunion in 2012 one boy who was present with us that startling night had no memory of the event. The others had either died or moved away or were otherwise unavailable and the troop leader was long deceased; no one else left to review our memories together.
It is also odd to me that when I got home that evening my mother had gone to bed, much earlier than usual and she ordinarily would wait up until I was home; the also my dad was home and he always worked very late. Timewise I should have arrived home no later than 9:30 or 10 P.M. At the time I did not wonder why my father was home so early, several hours before his usual time and my mother in bed so early. I can not now rationalize why there was such a discrepancy in what appears now as some lost hours. I do not remember looking at a clock upon arriving home. I did mention what I had seen to my father and he did not take my description of the event seriously to my utter disappointment and no one else to report it to; no significant police presence and calling the sheriff most certainly would have been a lost cause. At the time there was an Air Force radar installation (Hi-Point area of Bellefontaine, Ohio) just a few miles away and in the direction from which the object appeared and afterward disappeared.
At 14 years old I could not even envision calling the Air Force. So that is my description of the event after all these years. So thank you for the opportunity to report an obvious unidentified flying object which made absolutely no sound, created no heat or wind drafts and definitely was not swamp gas, northern lights, an airplane or helicopter, weather balloon or other man-made body. I am now retired, do consider myself somewhat accomplished, rational, intelligent with several advanced degrees and so far have avoided the dreaded Alzheimers. Thank you so much for your efforts and for affording me the opportunity to finally report this incident.
There has been much talk nowadays about inter-dimensional worlds, especially what with the Large Hadron Collider in CERN officially being fired back up recently to go hunting for them. To be fair it is very surprising that the FBI have shown such a vast amount of interest in the whole study of the UFO phenomena?! But is it really that surprising when people have been reporting UFO sightings pretty much since the beginning of time, no not really! I guess it could even be possible that there are a lot of science fiction movies that are actually based on real events, or as some may even call them “leaks” to the general public, given by the government in order to deliberately raise awareness among the population? Subconsciously planting that seed into all of our brains that the Aliens truly are with us!

8. The region from which they come is not the “astral plane”, but corresponds to the Lokas or Talas. Students of osoteric matters will understand these terms.
9. They probably can not be reached by radio, but probably can be by radar. if a signal system can be devised for that (apparatus)
Addendum: The Lokas are oval shape, fluted length oval with a heat-resistaning metal or alloy not yet known the front cage contains the controls, the middle portion a laboratory; the rear contains armament, which consists essentially of a powerful energy apparatus, perhaps a ray.
According to some of these exciting yet slightly bizarre unexpected reports and“Declassified” documents, we have been visited by numerous extra-terrestrial beings, some of whom, are not only from other planets beyond our own, but also from other dimensions. Apparently some of these Alien beings originate from an ‘ethereal plane coexistent’ within our physical universe. These incredible “entities”, that apparently can “materialize” on our very own planet appeared as huge ‘translucent figures’.
On the day 30 of April in the Palazzo della Provincia of Pescara took place the Conference ”UFO? the Truth is Top Secret, from Area 51 to Planet X”, organized by the ”Ufobserver” Cultural Association.
During the conference I related about underground bases in the USA and dedicated the last fifteen minutes of my speech to a very short summary of my work during last five years in a new direction that, starting from now, will be the leading topic in my future lectures.
This is a little anticipation. In the year 2000 I was working in Rome as an editor in the”Stargate” magazine and I wrote many articles about Fatima Apparitions, their famous Third Secret and other Vatican State-related mysteries.
After the publication of these articles I started to receive many e-mails from a person who qualified himself as a Vatican insider longing to know me for my researches about Fatima. From those e-mails rose up the story of a presumed Vatican Intelligence Agency named “S.I.V.” code from ”Servizio Informazioni del Vaticano”.
After one year of such kind of epistolary contacts (in the meantime that person had revealed to me he was a S.I.V. member from the Jesuit order working in structures of the Holy See and I could verify that these information were true), we finally met in a public place in Rome and I could realize that he knew much more of what he had said in his letters.
Moreover, he sent to me some stuff including a video (shown during the Pescara Conference) regarding observations of something like a tenth planet approaching the Solar System.
Humanity’s first encounter with intelligent extraterrestrial life would undoubtedly have a huge impact on how we see our place in the universe. But could first contact also affect technological progress and spur technology leaps on Earth? That question becomes one of many driving forces in the fascinating “Three-Body” book trilogy by Liu Cixin, a Chinese writer who has become the bestselling author of science fiction in China.
Liu’s trilogy has steadily gained public attention since the first book was published in China in 2008. A Chinese film trilogy is in the works with the first “Three-Body” film scheduled for July 2016. An English translation of the first book in the trilogy, “The Three-Body Problem, has also made Liu the first Asian writer to win best novel for science fiction or fantasy in the 2015 Hugo Awards. Liu’s musings on first contact and technology have even drawn the attention of a certain Silicon Valley CEO, as Business Insider pointed out. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg selected “The Three-Body Problem” for his book club called A Year of Books.
“I’ve always felt that extraterrestrial intelligence will be the greatest source of uncertainty for humanity’s future,” Liu writes in a postscript for the U.S. edition of “The Three-Body Problem.” “Other great shifts, such as climate change and ecological disasters, have a certain progression and built-in adjustment periods, but contact between humankind and aliens can occur at any time.”
That uncertainty fuels “The Three-Body Problem” premise that begins with a secret Chinese military project, called Red Coast, designed to make first contact with extraterrestrials during the Cold War. Part of the Chinese leadership’s reasoning comes from a RAND Corporation sociologist’s book on how first contact with aliens might translate into economic and technological progress:
This was the theory of “contact as symbol” proposed by sociologist Bill Mathers of RAND Corporation in his book, The 100,000-Light-Year Iron Curtain: SETI Sociology. Mathers believed that contact with an alien civilization is only a symbol or a switch. Regardless of the content of the encounter, the results would be the same. Suppose that the nature of the contact is such that only the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence is confirmed, with no other substantive information—what Mathers called elementary contact. The impact would be magnified by the lens of human mass psychology and culture until it resulted in huge, substantive influences on the progress of civilization. If such contact were monopolized by one country or political force, the significance would be comparable to an overwhelming advantage in economic and military power.
The fictional Chinese leadership also considers the fact that The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) could have the highest possibility for enabling a “technology leap” in comparison with other research fields such as physics, biology and computer science. That possibility spurs China to invest in Red Coast as a way of competing against rival powers such as the United States and Soviet Union.
Such thinking about first contact with extraterrestrials has inspired plenty of real-world thinkers beyond science fiction writers. In September, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) hosted a future technology forum that included a panel titled “Are We Alone and Have We Been?” The fact that the U.S. military organization charged with considering “disruptive” technologies is willing to discuss the possibility of intelligent life in the universe—at a future technology forum no less—shows that the fictional motivations of China’s military in “The Three-Body Problem” may not be that far-fetched.
“The Three-Body Problem” also provides a unique narrative of first contact set against a Chinese cultural background that is refreshing in the context of Western-dominated science fiction. For example, Ye Wenjie, a woman astrophysicist who represents one of the main characters in the trilogy’s first book, undergoes a painful personal journey in the midst of China’s turbulent Cultural Revolution in the 1960s and 1970s. That era of destructive ideological programs included state repression of “class enemies” such as intellectuals; a point made very early on in the book when a young Ye Wenjie watches a group of female Red Guards beat her physicist father to death during a public show trial.
Ye Wenjie’s bitter experiences during China’s Cultural Revolution eventually prompt her to make a fateful decision when she works at a Chinese military base called Red Coast; home of a secretive project to establish first contact with extraterrestrials. But most of the book takes place in the modern day with a mystery revolving around a baffling string of suicides among prominent researchers. Another key modern-day subplot in the book concerns a mysterious online game set in a virtual world plagued by intermittent catastrophes.
All of this discussion barely scratches the surface of the main story behind Liu’s fantastic “Three-Body” book trilogy. I’ll have a more spoiler-filled discussion about one of the main plot points in a separate post, but for now I highly recommend checking out the English translations of the first two books in the trilogy. The English translation of the third book, Death’s End, comes out in April 2016.
A recent episode of the marvelous radio program/podcast "Radiolab" focused on "Candid Camera,"the long-running hidden camera TV show. "Candid Camera" had its heyday in the '60s and '70s, and its technique of secretly filming people, ambush style, often in unusual situations or involving trick props (one memorable bit involved a vending machine that dispensed cans of soda via a human hand), is seen as a visionary precursor to the sea of reality television we now swim in. The show's creator, Alan Funt, sought to capture people at their most spontaneous and unguarded. One of the interesting psychological gleanings of the show was that people wanted to be on television, even after the camera was revealed—"Smile, you're on 'Candid Camera'!"—and they found out that they had been hoodwinked. People desperately desired to be part of the story, even if they played the fool.
Listening to the "Radiolab" episode flipped a switch in my memory. "Candid Camera" was an early influence on me as well.
Joey DiPietro and I were sitting around one summer afternoon, one of those impossibly long summer afternoons when you're 10 or 11 that seem to stretch out forever and there's nothing left to do. Every idea is hackneyed, played out. We'd reenacted a wiffle ball version of Reggie Jackson's three-home run game from the 1977 World Series. We'd played Parcheesi. We'd gone swimming. We'd played Stratego. We'd ridden our bikes around the block dozens of times, on each circuit pretending to be different characters from TV shows, first "Starsky and Hutch," then "Dukes of Hazard," and on and on. The game ended after we impersonated Lenny and Squiggy from "Laverne & Shirley." We'd set small fires behind the garage. We'd sat on the stoop asking each other, "Whaddya wanna do?" "I dunno, whaddya wanna do?" for what seemed like an hour.
We were bored. So we left the bright sunshine for the dark interior of the DiPietro household to watch TV.
For those who've grown up in the warm, bosomy light of nine-hundred station cable TV and TiVo and webisodes, allow me to explain something about the bad old days of TV in the `70s: There were three national networks, PBS (old people talking grown-up piffle, or the Public Bull Shit network as we called it), three local independent stations that played old cartoons for a couple hours in the afternoons but mostly broadcast amateurish snoozefests like "The Joe Franklin Show" or "Bowling for Dollars" (an actual game show, Scout's honor). Before the cartoons came on was the worst time of day to watch TV, all soap operas and "Donahue" and crappy reruns of "F Troop" and "Bonanza." (Joey's grandfather, who was off-the-boat Italian, having come to live with his daughter and her family after retiring as a bricklayer in Turin, loved "Bonanza," and was teaching himself English by watching the show. His typical greeting—picture Roberto Benigni saying this—was "Howdy pardner.")
On the day in question, Joey's grandfather was watching "Candid Camera," waiting for "Bonanza" to come on, I assumed. Squished on the plastic-covered couch between Joey and his chain-smoking grandfather, increasingly delighted by the pranks being played on unwitting passers-by, I had a thought: What if we made our own "Candid Camera?"
We didn't have a TV camera, so a cassette recorder would have to do. I had one of those, a top-loading job about the size of a small textbook. I used it mostly to record songs off the radio, hitting the record button and putting it face down on top of my circa 1962 hand-me-down radio alarm clock and hoping the DJ wouldn't come in too early to back-announce the song and ruin the end of it for me. The recorder fit snugly in a brown paper lunch bag. We would secretly record our conversations with people in the neighborhood. I can't remember how Joey and I landed on the idea of UFOs as the provocative topic we would discuss—Close Encounters of the Third Kind had just come out, so perhaps that was a factor. (Popular culture was an influence on us.) Part Alan Funt, part Alan Lomax, Joey and I decided to set off in the morning.
We walked around the neighborhood and asked people a simple question: Do you believe in flying saucers? The typical encounter went something like this: Joey and I walk up the steps to a house, brown paper bag with recorder not-so-secretly stuffed into it clutched to Joey's chest. Ring the bell. Ding-dong! Door opens, homeowner appears. "Good morning, Mr. Lavado, I'm working on a school project and I'd like to ask you a question." Cue Joey pressing down on the front of the bag to hit Record. The wheels of the tape recorder turning can faintly be heard. Mr. Lavado, skeptically eyeing the bag, says, "But it's summer, Brian." In my best bright-boy voice I respond: "Indeed it is, Mr. Lavado. I'm trying to get a leg up on 7th grade by doing a report over the summer on UFOs. Mr. Lavado, do you believe in flying saucers?"
For his part, Mr. Lavado gave us a buck and told us not to go around bothering people. He wouldn't talk. It was a long day. Joey and I had doors slammed in our faces. People laughed at us and just walked back inside. Old women invited us in and fed us stale cookies and wrinkled grapes and told us about their grandchildren, who looked just like us.
But some people did talk to us, like Mrs. Schwartz, a widow, who told a rambling tale about her husband, who was a pilot in World War II, and who had seen UFOs flying sorties in the South Pacific. And Steven Garvey's mom, who never came out of her house—Steven claimed she was sick but wouldn't say what of—said she had been for a ride in a spaceship and nothing more. And the construction worker on his lunch break, who opened up about an experience he had a few years before in the Bronx. It was the middle of the afternoon, he said, right on Grand Concourse, plenty of people on the street, when a flying saucer descended right over the intersection and hovered. Everyone on the street stopped. After a minute, the UFO flew up and away. People on the street exchanged glances, but nobody said anything and just walked away. After telling us the story, construction worker looked genuinely spooked by it.
And then there was Mr. Rappoport, retired subway conductor, who we ran into on the street, on his way back from the OTB. After some preliminary conversation about aliens, he confided to us that he written a theme song for the Boy Scouts, and would we like to hear it? Why, of course we would, Mr. Rappoport. Standing on the corner of 29th Avenue and 210th Place, Mr. Rappoport gave full throat to the song he had written, pumping his arms in a marching rhythm. I can only remember a snippet: Win square, lose fair, we're Scouts ya know / doing our duty, helping as we go / But when the flag's out, every Boy Scout / pledges his loyalty for-e-ver. Mr. Rappoport had sent the song in to the Boy Scouts, offered it to them free, he told us, but they rejected it.
People just want to be heard, be part of the story. And their stories live on in me, like that little snatch of Mr. Rappoport's song. I bet that tape is up in my attic somewhere. I hope I find it. There are more stories waiting to be unlocked.
Science has proven that “hominids” have lived on this planet for a very long time. It has also proven that Homo Sapiens Sapiens (Cro-Magnon or Modern man) have not. Our ancestors arrived here as interstellar prisoners approximately fifty thousand years ago. Like our ancestors, we are prone to criminal behavior and mental illness.
It is an inescapable part of our basic human nature. It is not our fault, but rather that of deviated genetic code. There is not a single human who is free of violent, lustful, vengeful, thieving and/or murderous thoughts. The horrors that humans experience on this planet are almost always caused by mankind. Humans lie, steal, cheat, rape, murder and pollute. When they can no longer exert more dominion over land and animal, they victimize their own kind. We are a horrible menace to ourselves, to all the creatures of this planet and to interstellar civilization.
The treacherous and murderous ways of human beings remain a very real threat to peace in the universe.
Earth was chosen to become a prison planet because of its remote location, and the ability to support hominid life forms. Each “race” of our ancestors were placed on different continents, selected for similarities to their former climatic environments. Even though the races varied in language, size, shape and color, all were Cro-Magnon. Though reduced to a primal state before placement, our ancestors not only survived, they thrived. They immediately began to dominate everything that came into their path. And, the sudden terrestrial appearance of modern man was on a scale so large, that it allowed Cro-Magnoids to drive Neanderthals, who had been at the top of Earth’s food chain for well over 200,000 years, to global extinction within just a few thousand years.
Before being placed on Earth, our ancestors were stripped of all memory of their former lives. It was believed that if the prisoners survived, they would remain in a primal state, co-existing by building relationships, and possibly even interbreeding with Earth’s native homonoid species. It was a belief that was proven very wrong. While for a short time it appeared as though the Cro-magnon exile was proceeding as planned, but within 1,000 years, reports began to began to flood in that perhaps serious oversights had been made. The assumption that the prisoners would remain in a primal state was shattered when our ancestors began creating a microcosm of interstellar civilization. Earth, for the first time in its history, became witness to art, architecture, animal husbandry, agriculture, written languages, advanced mathematics, technology, law, religion and government. It also became witness to the atrocities of modern man. And, instead of interbreeding with other species, we began the systematic manipulation and/or destruction of other life forms.
Testing revealed that the surprising intellectual and technological development of our ancestors was the result of genetic memory, which caused us to experience intellectual reversion, rather than progression. This set off a very heated debate. One group called for the immediate extermination of our ancestors before they genetically “remembered” to the point of achieving interstellar flight, and possible re-infection of intergalactic civilization. The others were firmly convinced that, if given enough time, we would self-destruct and sought to simply observe and curtail our development.
An impasse was eventually reached, and further direct contact was forbidden. Continued observation and assessment of the prison planet was agreed upon, under strict conditions. It is important to note that one of the most significant turning points in last ten million years of Earth’s history occurred when our ancestors arrived on Earth, and began neanderthal annihilation.
Our incarceration on Earth was not agreed to by all. From the first days of our imprisonment on Earth, sympathizers in UFOs have slipped past ‘security’ and assisted select civilizations. These extraterrestrial visits always resulted in dramatic leaps of intellectual ability and technological accomplishment. Unfortunately, virtually all of those civilizations and their advanced technologies met with very sudden disaster, and in the majority of the cases, extinction. The true causes remain unknown.
This incredible UFO video could finally provide proof that aliens are real.The clip shows a butterfly-shaped craft flying close to the border between Ohio and Kentucky.
Filmed by a father and son identified only as Tom and Christopher, the video was captured on Saturday evening.
Tyler Glockner runs the channel featuring the video and has previously been accused of faking UFO footage by using CGI.
He said: “The reason I am calling this an alien craft rather than just a UFO … is in the stunning detail, where we can see the true structural characteristics of this ship.
“And guys you take a look and tell me with a straight face this has anything to do with humans. The features on this thing don’t make any sense.”
According to Glockner, Tom and Christopher saw the craft being pursued by two US military helicopters.
He added: “The father and son both described the craft as eerily silent.
“There are rows of windows, chambers, glowing lights and other characteristics that simply don’t jive with anything you can imagine on Earth
“If you can look at this and convince your self, hey its just one of ours..aliens are not visiting us, well whatever it takes for you to sleep at night.
“This is simply amazing footage, one more piece to the puzzle, I can lay my head knowing we have not been alone for some time.”
However, not everyone is convinced that the video is proof of aliens.
Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told Journal Telegraph: “It looks like it was produced using a model and CGI. It is a very distinctive looking object, it reminds me of the Millennium Falcon spacecraft in the Star Wars films with a bite taken out of it.
“Alarm bells ring when the witnesses are only known as Tom and Christopher, and we might also wonder why other people in the area didn’t see it.”

In een verlaten deel van de Egyptische woestijn is een bijzondere geometrische constructie ontdekt.
Volgens een dame met paranormale gaven hebben we hier te maken met een buitenaards ruimteschip en bevinden de inzittenden zich in een basis onder de grote piramides.

Het was toch een redelijke puzzel om uit te vissen wat voor soort bouwwerk dat nu precies is, daar midden in de woestijn.
Honderd procent zekerheid hebben we niet, maar het meest waarschijnlijke is dat het militaire installaties zijn voor afweergeschut of iets dergelijks.
Wanneer je vanaf het punt waarop de vreemde bouwwerken te zien zijn een koers uitzet van ongeveer 70 graden (richting noordoosten) dan kom je na zo’n 15 kilometer uit bij een vliegveld midden in de woestijn waar ook dergelijke gebouwen staan.

Zelf ben ik 2 dagen geleden al op onderzoek uit gegaan. De constructies waar het artikel over gaat zijn denk ik militaire bouwwerken.
Ik heb het gebied ten oosten van Cairo afgezocht en kwam op een gegeven moment bij een vliegveld midden in de woestijn.
In de directe omgeving van dit vliegveld zijn ook dit soort bouwwerken te zien, waarvan sommige zelfs nog in aanbouw.
Mogelijk is er ook ondergronds gebouwd.
Er zijn een paar foto's bijgevoegd waar je het een en ander op kan zien.

Soms kom je via Google de meest vreemde dingen tegen op onze planeet. Zo was er enkele dagen geleden een Italiaanse onderzoeker, Matteo Ianneo, die via Google Earth een merkwaardige constructie ontdekte zo’n 50 kilometer ten zuidoosten van Cairo.

Wat je dan te zien krijgt is het volgende:

Wat het ook is, het is niet iets dat afkomstig is uit de oudheid want volgens Ianneo stond er in 2009 nog helemaal niets op die plek.
Misschien is er een heel simpele verklaring voor deze bijzondere geometrische constructie en weet iemand wat het is.
Wereldwijd wordt er uiteraard volop gespeculeerd over wat dit zou kunnen zijn en sommige mensen zijn zelfs te rade gegaan bij een dame die over paranormale gaven schijnt te beschikken.

Wanneer ik mij focus dan zie ik een spiksplinternieuw ruimtevoertuig dat bezig is met de landing. Het is van buitenaardse oorsprong en heeft nog een soort nieuwe glans alsof het net gebouwd is voor een missie naar deze aarde.
Het lijkt alsof het een bewuste keuze was om hier te landen en dat alles werkt zoals het hoort. Wanneer ik mentaal op onderzoek ga om uit te vinden wat het hier doet dan krijg ik door dat er een ondergronds grottensysteem is dat naar een basis leidt. Dit schip landde precies boven op die basis.
Ook krijg ik door dat dit grottensysteem weer verbonden is met een soortgelijk systeem onder de grote piramides zoals een soort labyrint.
Ik hoor dat deze reis naar onze aarde een enkeltje was. Ze hadden geen plannen om weer te vertrekken nadat ze hier eenmaal waren aangekomen. Ze zijn hier gekomen om een zeer zeldzame basis te versterken en een huis diep onder de grond te creëren. Het was in feite de bedoeling dat dit schip zou gaan fungeren als “een deksel” op de basis.
Heeft deze helderziende het goed en vormt dat wat wij zien onderdeel van een buitenaards schip of is er een meer aardse verklaring voor dit alles.
