Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Astronomers and UFOs
Astronomy is one of the oldest disciplines of science. Many prehistoric monuments are aligned with stars and planets, giving us clues as to the importance of ancient forms of astronomy. As a result, astronomers remain one of the leading groups responsible for the serious investigation of the UFO phenomenon.

Astronomer UFO Sightings During the Renaissance

Hundreds of years ago astronomers were observing objects which can still not be definitively identified. Jacques Vallee and Chris Aubeck chronicle many reports of anomalous aerial objects throughout history in their book, Wonders in the Sky: Unexplained Aerial Objects from Antiquity to Modern Times. One of these mysterious observations was by the famous astronomer Giovanni Domenico Cassini.
In 1672, Cassini spotted a small object close to Venus. At first he only took note, but did not share the discovery. He then saw it again in 1686 and decided to announce it as a possible discovery of a new moon of Venus. His sightings continued over the next few decades but were sporadic. In 1884, a former director for the Royal Observatory in Brussels, Jean-Charles Houzeau, proposed the idea that the object observed by Cassini may be another planet. He also named the object Neith, after an Egyptian Goddess. In 1887, the Belgian Academy of Sciences suggested that Neith was just a group of stars near Venus.
In 1686, a much more mysterious sighting was reported by astronomer Gottfried Kirch, the director of the Berlin Observatory. His sighting took place in Leipzig, Germany on July 9 at approximately 1:20 a.m. Kirch said that he saw an extremely bright fireball with a tail that was a quarter the size of the Moon, hovering in the sky for fifteen minutes. He said that people in towns as far as eleven miles away also reported seeing the object. Kirsh explained that eventually the object darted off to the right and left two “globules” that could only be seen by telescope.
Astronomers and Modern UFO research

UFO sightings by astronomers are often taken more serious than those by the general public, due in part because astronomers are trained to observe and identify astronomical objects and spend a lot of time looking up into Space. Understandably, UFO reports from renowned astronomers helped boost the public’s fascination at the inception of the modern UFO era.
Prior to World War II, UFOs were not as prevalent a topic as they are now. In fact, the term “UFO” was not even coined until the early 1950s during the U.S. Air Force investigation of the phenomenon. Sightings were abundant in the 1950s, and they often made media headlines. It was at this time that Life magazine put together a compelling story that included the accounts of two well-known astronomers. The Life article described the first of these men as “one of the U.S.’s top astronomers.” He wanted to remain anonymous for the magazine story, but it was later discovered that this was Dr. Lincoln LaPaz, a leading scientist in the study of meteors.
In the article, Dr. LaPaz described a sighting that he and his family had on July 10, 1947 at 4:47 p.m. He, his wife, and their two teenage daughters were driving from Clovis, New Mexico to Clines Corners, New Mexico, when they all noticed a strange luminous object that hovered in the sky. Instinctively, Dr. LaPaz began estimating distances in order to make calculations about the object, and his entire family followed suit.
Dr. LaPaz described the object as follows:
[It] showed a sharp and firm regular outline, namely one of a smooth elliptical character much harder and sharper than the edges of the cloudlets . . . The hue of the luminous object was somewhat less white than the light of Jupiter in a dark sky, not aluminum or silver-colored . . . The object clearly exhibited a sort of wobbling motion . . . This wobbling motion served to set off the object as a rigid, if not solid body.

Dr. LaPaz’s family watched the object for thirty seconds before it moved behind a cloud. The object reappeared soon after, but they eventually lost sight of it as it moved behind the clouds again. Dr. LaPaz said, “This remarkably sudden ascent thoroughly convinced me that we were dealing with an absolutely novel airborne device.”

Dr. LaPaz estimated that the object was 20 to 30 miles away and that it was a solid elliptical object approximately 165 to 245 feet long and 65 to 100 feet from top to bottom. He also estimated that it moved at between 120 and 180 mph horizontally and 600 to 900 mph vertically. His family agreed with his calculations. He did not believe that the object was of an astronomical nature, an illusion, a rocket, or a missile.
Later in the article, Dr. LaPaz commented on the mysterious nature of hundreds of green fireballs seen throughout the Southwest, mostly in New Mexico, in the late 1940s and early 1950s. One green fireball incident referred to a sighting of a large fireball seen by over a hundred-fifty people in Arizona in November 1951.
The sightings of green fireballs became so frequent that the U.S. Air Force established Project Twinkle in order to investigate them. Dr. LaPaz was one of the experts that investigated the phenomenon, and he felt that whatever was being seen were not meteorites.
The Life article explained:
[Dr. LaPaz] points out that normal fireballs do not appear green, they fall in the trajectory forced on them by gravity, are generally noisy as a freight train, and leave meteorites where they hit. The green New Mexican species does none of these things. Neither do the green fireballs appear to be electrostatic phenomena—they move too regularly and too fast.
The second sighting by an astronomer covered in the Life article was that of Clyde Tombaugh, the man who discovered Pluto. At around 11:00 p.m., while sitting in his backyard in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with his wife and mother-in-law, they all saw an object dart across the night sky. They agreed it appeared to be oval shaped and had a blue-green glow. Tombaugh said it “seemed to trail off at the rear into a shapeless luminescence.” Tombaugh alleged that he also saw what appeared to be half a dozen windows on the front and the side of the craft.
Project Blue Book Report on UFOs and Astronomers
The Life article popularized the UFO phenomenon at the time and exhibited the highly credible nature of some of the witnesses. Its effect on the U.S. Air Force’s official UFO investigation, Project Blue Book, was evident in a report put together by their consulting astronomer, Dr. J. Allen Hynek. The report referenced the Life article and may have even inspired it altogether.

Hynek is often considered the father of modern UFO research. He was a professor of astronomy at Ohio State University when he began consulting for the air force on identifying UFOs. At the time he began working with the air force he said he thought the topic of UFOs was just a fad and referred to it as “utterly ridiculous.” However, his opinions eventually changed, and he began to take the topic very seriously.
Hynek is infamous for trying to explain away a famous rash of UFO sightings in Michigan in 1966 as an effect of swamp gas. However, he is more fondly remembered for coming up with the close encounters classification system for UFO reports.
In 1952, Hynek began to surmise that there was more to the UFO phenomenon than he had previously thought. In August, he submitted a report to the air force titled, “Special Report on Conferences with Astronomers on Unidentified Aerial Objects.” Hynek had decided it would be valuable to get the opinions of astronomers on UFOs and assist in the air force’s investigation into UFOs. In order to get the astronomers’ true opinions, Hynek did not tell them he was involved with the air force. He told them he was just a traveling astronomer visiting observatories to talk about scientific issues. He spoke to forty astronomers at various observatories.

For the most part, Hynek kept the names of the astronomers anonymous, except for those that had already revealed their names in the Life article or had done so to the media in some other fashion. The opinions among the astronomers he spoke to varied. Some thought the topic was a waste of time; others thought that government secrecy on the issue was “stupid.” One astronomer said that if he had seen something he would not tell anyone unless he could remain anonymous and he knew the information was going to a group of scientists for serious research.
Among those who shared their UFO sightings, one had said that he and another astronomer had sighted a group of five “ball-bearing-like” objects moving rapidly during the day. Two years later, he saw a singular similar object. Another astronomer reported that he had seen a light zoom across his field of view that went too fast to be a plane and too slow to be a meteorite. This astronomer pointed out that it is important that scientists do not “fall into the error of believing we understand all physical phenomena.”

Tombaugh and LaPaz were also part of Hynek’s report. Hynek reported that besides the sighting Tombaugh reported to Life, he also shared another sighting that took place at White Sands Proving Grounds just outside of Las Cruces. Tombaugh said that while he was looking through his telescope he saw a luminous object traveling from the “zenith to the southern horizon in about three seconds.”
Tombaugh also offered up the use of his telescope at White Sands to help the U.S. Air Force investigate UFOs. He told Hynek that he would just have to ask the general in charge, but Hynek never divulged whether that request was made.
Hynek wrote that he also asked the astronomers about LaPaz’s findings in regards to the green fireballs seen in the Southwest. Many thought the objects were most likely natural objects, but Hynek said questioning revealed that many of them had little knowledge of the details of the sightings. Hynek agreed with LaPaz that given the descriptions and frequency, the green fireball phenomenon did not exhibit characteristics of astronomical objects.
In conclusion, Hynek found that of the forty astronomers he interviewed, five had reported sightings. Hynek noted that this is a higher percentage than the rest of the population. He speculated that this is perhaps because astronomers watch the sky more often, but also noted that astronomers are less likely to misidentify aerial objects.
Hynek observed that the astronomers he spoke to weren’t particularly hostile towards the idea of UFO investigations. He said that when he described the details of the more mysterious reports, they seemed genuinely interested. He felt their “lethargy” toward the subject was mostly due to a lack of good information. Hynek said their biggest fear seemed to be getting branded as questionable scientists as a result of any association with the UFO topic.
Hynek recommended that the U.S. Air Force officially give UFOs the status of a scientific problem and that a group of reputable scientists be allowed to examine sightings. He felt that such an effort would not only lead towards more answers, but also lend dignity to the issue. He continued to push for serious scientific investigationinto UFOs.

Three years after the air force closed down official UFO investigations in 1969, he published his first book on UFOs, The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry. In his book, he released his close encounters scale and shared another story on astronomers’ opinions on UFOs. He recounted the story of a reception at which “several hundred” astronomers were in attendance, and where it was reported that there was a UFO being seen outside making strange maneuvers. He said people laughed and made some jokes as usual, but not a single astronomer went outside to investigate. His problem with this was that the lack of investigation didn’t exhibit a true scientific inquisitiveness. He quoted physicist and philosopher Erwin Schrödinger who wrote, “The first requirement of a scientist is that he is curious. He should be capable of being astonished and eager to find out.”
In 1973, Hynek founded the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS), an organization of scientists and technical experts. In 1980, they conducted a poll (which included eighteen hundred members of various amateur astronomer associations) and found that 24% responded that they had “observed an object which resisted [their] most exhaustive efforts at identification.”
The Sturrock Report
The U.S. Air Force stopped investigating UFOs based in large part on a study by the University of Colorado in Boulder which was issued in 1969. The study concluded that there was no scientific value in the investigation of UFOs. This report has been dubbed the “Condon Report” in reference to the lead scientist of the investigation, Dr. Edward Condon. In 1970, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AAIA) released its own report that was the result of a multi-year study by one of the organization’s subcommittees. The AAIA disagreed with Condon stating, “[we] did not find a basis in the report for his prediction that nothing of scientific value will come of further studies.” In fact, they suggested further study was warranted.

In his book, The UFO Enigma: A New Review of the Physical Evidence, Dr. Peter Sturrock, a professor of applied physics at Stanford University, noted that the AAIA report made him wonder if perhaps scientists would be more interested in reports by other scientists. He conducted a small survey amongst the members of the San Francisco chapter of the AAIA, and the results were published in their monthly journal in 1974. Of the twelve hundred members responding, 5% said they had UFO sightings.
Encouraged by the results, Dr. Sturrock sought to perform a larger survey and was given permission by the American Astronomical Society (AAS) to poll their membership. Dr. Sturrock wrote that he was pleased to receive a 52% response rate, with only a few rude remarks. In fact, the responses were overwhelmingly supportive. Similarly to his previous study, 5% of AAS members admitted having unexplainable sightings. However, Dr. Sturrock was even more satisfied with the results of this study because they indicated that there was significant interest among astronomers in continued research into the UFO phenomenon. Sturrock summarized: “Each respondent was asked to state his opinion on whether the UFO problem deserves scientific study: 23% replied ‘certainly,’ 30% ‘probably,’ 27% ‘possibly,’ 17% ‘probably not,’ and 3% ‘certainly not,’ which represents a positive attitude among 53% of the respondents, as against a negative attitude among 20%.”
The high number of positive responses surprised Sturrock, as he was expecting the opposite. He had also asked how the AAS members would like to receive information on this subject, and the response was overwhelmingly through scientific journals. However, Dr. Sturrock and his colleagues always had problems getting their papers regarding UFOs printed in mainstream journals. This contradiction prompted Sturrock to help start a new organization called the Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE), which publishes a peer-reviewed journal. Of the dozen or so professors that helped found the SSE, seven were astronomers. The SSE is still going strong with a large membership of doctorates. The organization’s website defines it as “a professional organization of scientists and scholars who study unusual and unexplained phenomena. Subjects often cross mainstream boundaries, such as consciousness, unidentified aerial phenomena, and alternative medicine, yet often have profound implications for human knowledge and technology.”
Astronomers and UFOs Today
Interest in the UFO phenomenon hasn’t been a passing fad, and astronomers continue to show interest in UFO research today. In 2011, Irish astronomer Eamonn Ansbro made news when he claimed that he was tracking UFOs. Ansbro said that he is convinced that what he is tracking are extraterrestrial spacecraft. He has even given lectures on the topic to the French government, and his studies have been published by the European Space Agency. He has named his project the Optical Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (OSETI).
He told his local paper, the Roscommon Herald, “We haven’t proven our discovery to the scientific community yet and don’t have the resources but we can show that extraterrestrial space craft are on specific orbital tracks around the earth.”
Interest in the phenomenon also continues in other parts of the world. Astronomers at Canada’s David Dunlop Observatory in Richmond Hill, Ontario, have been holding lectures on UFOs. The lecturers include astronomers Dr. Ian Shelton and Dr. Tuba Koktay, a husband and wife team, who both worked at the observatory in the past. Dr. Koktay is now a researcher, and Dr. Shelton teaches astronomy at the University of Toronto. Shelton told www.yorkregion.com, “We try to be open-mined and honest, we don’t just dismiss, because we [scientists] don’t knoweverything.”

Closer to home, Dr. Derrick Pitts, the chief astronomer and planetarium director for the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and a nationally renowned astronomer, recently told Lee Speigel of the Huffington Post that he was supportive of serious research on the nature of the UFO phenomenon.
I can speculate about what many astronomers would say if you ask them that question. Many of them would say, “I haven’t seen anything, so I can’t say that they exist. I can’t say that this five percent are alien spacecraft.” But if you ask them in the same breath, “Would you be willing to engage in a research project to figure out what these things are,” I don’t know what that answer would be. I’d say, yeah, let’s find out, let’s take a look at it, because here we have a phenomenon that causes a tremendous amount of interest. Why not try to understand what it is?

The notion that astronomers are not interested in UFOs is false. Hynek, the U.S. Air Force’s own astronomer, who eventually became a pioneer in civilian UFO research, probably had it right when he observed that often scientists are just not informed of the important details. Even Dr. Pitts said his interests were piqued when he read the credible and mysterious UFO cases presented in Leslie Kean’s book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record.
Historically, astronomers were the leading force behind investigating and reporting on the UFO phenomenon, and they continue to be the driving force into the research into the UFO phenomenon. Their interest adds credibility to the field and demonstrates that there is at least a sliver of interest in UFOs in mainstream science.

Robert Schoch gelooft in de theorie dat de aarde in een ver verleden is geraakt door plasmastralen van de zon. Hij denkt dat deze plek bij de piramides misschien ooit is geraakt en dat dit het kalksteen heeft doen smelten.
Daarnaast wordt er via sociale media druk gespeculeerd wat een andere eventuele oorzaak zou kunnen zijn voor dergelijke hoge temperaturen die kalksteen doet smelten.
De explosie van een kernwapen heeft onmiddellijke gevolgen: de hittestraling (ongeveer 4000 °C) die gebouwen in brand zet, en bij mensen brandwonden veroorzaakt of hen soms zelfs volledig laat verdampen in enkele seconden.
Voldoende hitte dus voor het smelten van kalksteen.
Dat er in het verleden op aarde kernexplosies hebben plaatsgevonden, hebben wij beschreven in een aantal eerdere artikelen.
Maar, ook onze voorouders hebben ons al laten weten wat er ooit op deze aarde is gebeurd. Daarom een deel uit één van die eerdere artikelen:
We schreven al eerder een artikel over de waarschijnlijkheid van een kernoorlog in het oude India (zie hier). En ook dat de piramiden veel ouder zijn dan eerst werd gedacht. Daarnaast schijnen piramides ook nog “toevallig” de besteschuilkelders te zijn die je je kunt wensen in geval van nucleaire fall-out.
Nu vallen er weer een paar puzzelstukjes op hun plaats. Wetenschappers hebben sporen gevonden van een substantie die ze “melt-glass” noemen. Dit ontstaat wanneer zand heet genoeg wordt om te smelten en vervolgens te koken, ongeveer tussen de 1700 en 2000 graden Celsius. Dit soort temperaturen wordt bereikt bij een nucleaire explosie.
Dit materiaal werd gevonden in rotsafzettingen in Pennsylvania en Noord Carolina (Amerika) en in Syrië. Testen hebben uitgewezen dat het materiaal niet kosmisch, niet vulkanisch en niet door mensen gemaakt is. In Syrië werd het “melt-glass” ontdekt in een oud dorp in de vallei van de rivier de Eufraat. Dit dorp was bedekt me een laag houtskool, een indicatie dat alles wat daar aanwezig was is verbrand.
James Kennettt, een professor uit Santa Barbara schrijft de vorming van deze substantie toe aan een meteorieteninslag, maar zegt daarbij: ”De extreme temperaturen die nodig zijn om dit te vormen zijn gelijk aan die van een kernexplosie; temperaturen die hoog genoeg zijn om zand te smelten en te doen koken”.
Als je je dan bedenkt dat de leeftijd van die rotspartijen ongeveer 12.000 jaar is, dan komt dat aardig overeen met de tijd dat de piramides werden gebouwd, ongeveer 10.000 jaar voor Christus. Ook valt dat weer "akelig" nauwkeurig samen met de eerste verzen op de Sumerische kleitabletten. Een duidelijker verhaal over de na-effecten van een nucleaire-oorlog kun je niet krijgen.
De mensen uit die tijd die de kleitabletten gemaakt hebben, verzonnen deze verhalen niet. Het zijn min of meer onze oudste “geschreven” documenten. Zij beschreven wat er daadwerkelijk gebeurd was. Met het bewijsmateriaal wat in feite voor ons voor het oprapen ligt, vraag je je af wat de reden kan zijn dat men de werkelijke geschiedenis van de mensheid niet wil weten. Wellicht is het historisch ontstaan, omdat de feitelijke geschiedenis van onze aarde lijnrecht indruist tegen kerken, religie en bijbel.
De kleitabletten beschrijven een Kwade Wind. Net zoals wij die misschien uit Fukshima zullen krijgen als daar niets aan wordt gedaan.
Hieronder de vertaling van de eerste verzen van de Sumerische kleitabletten:

Tijdens een patrouille in een afgelegen gebied van Afghanistan staat een aantal Amerikaanse militairen oog in oog met een reus van tussen de vier en vijf meter hoog.
Er zijn meerdere getuigen die hetzelfde verhaal vertellen over een reus met rood haar en zes tenen en vingers.
Het is misschien wel het meest vreemde verhaal dat tijdens de lange oorlog uit Afghanistan is gekomen. Een Amerikaanse patrouille die slaags raakt met een reus en deze uiteindelijk doodt.
Normaal denk je dat dit weer een kletsverhaal is, maar deze gebeurtenissen wordt bevestigd door meerdere bronnen, waardoor het een uniek verslag wordt.
Uiteindelijk is het lijk van de reus opgehaald door een helikopter en overgebracht naar Amerika voor verder onderzoek.
In de video hieronder zie je hoe de onderzoeker L.A. Marzulli praat met een militair die onderdeel uitmaakte van de bewuste patrouille.
Het verhaal speelt zich af in 2002 in een zeer afgelegen deel van Afghanistan. De patrouille waar de getuige deel van uitmaakt, is op pad gestuurd om te kijken wat er gebeurd was met een eerdere patrouille, waarmee contact was verloren.
Op een gegeven moment komen ze op een lager gelegen plateau en zien daar beenderen liggen en iets hoger gelegen een grot.
Dan opeens komt er uit die grot een enorme reus, die volgens de getuigen ongeveer 500 kilo weegt en ergens tussen de vier en vijf meter lang is. Hij heeft lang rossig haar, zes tenen en dito aantal vingers.
De reus valt de soldaten aan en spiest één van hen aan zijn speer, terwijl de soldaten met alles wat ze bezitten op hem vuren.
Ze mikken op zijn gezicht en op een gegeven moment moet de primitieve reus het onderspit delven en sterft.
Vervolgens komen er een aantal helikopters, waaronder een grote Chinook om de reus weg te halen. Hij wordt daarna verder vervoerd met een C-130 transportvliegtuig en in de video is ook de getuigenis te horen van één van de piloten van dat toestel.
Toen de soldaten eenmaal waren teruggekeerd, kregen ze uitdrukkelijk opdracht om niet te praten over wat ze hadden meegemaakt en werden ze allemaal gedwongen om geheimhoudingsverklaringen te tekenen.
Onduidelijk is wat er met de originele patrouille is gebeurd, maar wel dat die tweede patrouille een bijzonder soort mens heeft gedood.
Het verhaal van de reuzen op aarde is niet nieuw, al lang geleden liepen ze hier rond. Voor dat verhaal navolgend een deel uit een eerder artikel:

De eerste aanwijzing dat er hier inderdaad reuzen hebben rondgelopen vind je in de bijbel, zoals het volgende:

Naast in de bijbel, duiken de reuzen ook op in de verhalen van alle oude volkeren op aarde. Rond de Middellandse-zee, bij de indianen in Noord-Amerika en Canada, in Zuid-Amerika, in Tibet en in Australië. In de mythologieën van Oost en West in de sagen over Tiahuanacu en in de heldendichten van de Noormannen en Eskimo’s. De oude Chaldeeën hadden het over de reus Irdubar, in India sprak men van de Danawa en Daita en op Ceylon van Rakshasa, om zo maar een paar voorbeelden te noemen.

News states: Mysterious lights, possibly a “fireball,” were seen streaking across the sky in San Diego Monday night, according to several NBC 7 viewers. One resident reported spotting the lights between 9:35 p.m. to 9:37 p.m. in the sky over the 3300 block of El Cajon Boulevard in City Heights. An NBC 7 viewer – who spotted the mystery lights above and around the San Diego International Airport and Liberty Station – described the sight as a “strange aircraft with lights on bottom.” San Diegan Ruben Quintana spotted the lights from Eastlake Monday night and said they appeared to be traveling west. He told NBC 7 the stream of light “began as a single blur then expanded into a straight line” before vanishing. “It repeated a few times,” he added. “I’m not sure where it was over.”
UFO hunters went into an overdrive yet again after a video claiming to have caught a UFO sighting has surfaced online. The clip shows a small black disc-like object floating at a distance, above the clouds, in New Zealand. The UFO disappears after an apparent explosion.
According to the reporting witness, the incident took place on August 2. UFO enthusiasts believe that most UFO sightings have been happening around the time of sunset because of the position of the setting sun.
In the video, the disc first appears just a dot from a distance. The footage also shows a small explosion above the cloud. After the clip was digitally magnified to get a better view, a black dot could be seen as a black disc.
The UFO could still be seen floating above the clouds after the first explosion. Then another burst of bright light in the sky took place shortly before the UFO went out of sight.
Another UFO sighting occurred in New Zealand in March. The event at Tauranga Bay of Plenty involved a glowing object with lights that lit up the entire community. The witness said he noticed a shimmering star changing colors in the sky, so he went ahead and got his binoculars to get a clearer picture of the aerial thing.
He first thought of the object as just a glittering star, but his entire room lit up. Out of curiosity, he looked out from his two-story window and spotted a massive bright glowing orb UFO coming up from a southeast direction.
Also in March, a UFO was spotted near Nelson at Tasman Bay. The mysterious object was seen descending at a speed faster than any known aircraft, but slower than a meteor.

About 1,500 sheep mysteriously disappeared in a field near Louth, and a documentary filmmaker has speculated that UFOs could be the reason behind the mystery.
YouTube user dot luter uploaded a footage to the video sharing site, featuring an investigation of UFO sightings across the East Lindsey area. One witness claimed to have observed a massive spherical object floating in the sky of Alford.
The disappearance of the sheep took place at Stenigot overnight in September 2011, but no witness has come forward about seeing or hearing anything.
Arrests were made, but no one ever charged or prosecuted, the documentary video claims.
The documentary video shows a man named Eric Goring from Brinkhill, saying he had encountered hundreds of sightings of what he described as “the black triangle” nearby at the time.
Goring said he spotted balls of light, but he wasn’t confident about the color. It could be white, orange or yellow balls, according to Goring.
The balls of light went round and round and lit up brightly. When they got nearer to the witness, Goring could see the black triangle.
He claimed to have seen the black triangle hundreds of times and at a maximum of 40 per night.
Mr. Goring estimated these triangle objects to be approximately 30 feet long on each side. He had seen them going down to the ground at incredible speeds, about thousands of miles per hour. He said they went straight to the ground and up again after looping. It floats without noise, according to Goring.
A taxi driver testimony is also featured in the documentary footage. The maker of the documentary believes that the sightings could be linked to the disappearance of thousands of sheep in one night in the sparsely populated area.

After viewing the object in my binoculars I was sure it was not a drone, UAV, or a weather balloon. It was very exciting because my whole family got to witness it and look at it. Once we looked at the pictures on the computer it really got us to wonder exactly what was this we just viewed. Finally it went into the clouds and we did not see it again. I would be very interested in finding out if anyone else saw the same thing we did and what it was. I have showed the pictures to several Naval pilots and others who work in aviation here at PAX river and they encouraged me to submit these photos. I also work in the aviation industry.

A man in Las Vegas, Nevada witnessed, pictured, and videotaped two cigar-shaped UFOs on August 7, 2016. He reported his UFO sighting to Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), which filed the report as Case 78283.
According to the report, the witness was heading south at 7:45 pm when two highly reflective objects caught his attention. Both of the objects were moving slowly at first, as the witness observed. In his report, he claimed to have identified them immediately as something he had never seen flying in the sky.
The witness said he has experience on military bases for over 20 years, including living on SAC alert bases. On this note, the witness apparently has much experience of seeing all types of military aircraft and their flight capabilities. But on August 7, 2016, the witness was certain that he saw something not military and not civilian aircraft.
This was the time the witness decided to shoot a photo of his UFO sighting using his cellular phone, but the objects seemed difficult to focus. From static pictures, he switched to video using his Samsung Note 5. The witness was inside a Jeep Wrangler with family, and all four of them saw the mysterious aerial things, including his retired Army father.
As the family continued to watch the event, both UFOs flew north and then to a northeast direction, moving towards Nellis AFB.
The case is still under investigation with Nevada MUFON.

Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding and UFOs
“More than 10,000 sightings have been reported, the majority of which cannot be accounted for by any “scientific” explanation… I am convinced that these objects do exist and that they are not manufactured by any nation on Earth. In 1936, Dowding was appointed commanding officer of the RAF Fighter Command, where he conceived and oversaw the so-called Dowding System” for the air defense of Great Britain using the new technology of radar, which the English were just developing for the first time. Quoting from his biographical profile from rafweb.org.
“He helped develop eight gun fighters (Hurricane and Spitfire), and radar for the detection of enemy aircraft. He was given command of the newly formed Fighter Command in July 1936. He immediately set about developing a system able to make best use of his limited resources. He established the coastal chain of radar stations and a reporting and control system which allowed his aircraft to be placed in the right location and altitude to meet the threat.” Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Air Force Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain where Nazi bomber forces were defeated.

Planetary Defense
An enormous asteroid that could strike the Earth in 2028 made its first pass near us last month and doomsayers are using it as proof we need to build a planetary defense system. The potentially killer space rock measures about a mile in diameter and passed safely outside the moon’s orbit, but it’s scheduled to return again sometime in 2028 when it will be much closer to Earth.
Dubbed 1997 XF11, the meandering asteroid passed close to 27 million miles from Earth along with several other space rocks scheduled to come near the planet. Next time, however, its orbit will be much more erratic, making it more likely to strike the planet and cause an extinction level event.
NASA’s Near Earth Object Program tracks asteroids that pass close by every day, but the U.S. space agency can’t see them all coming, astrophysicist Jose Ramon Valdes told the Express. “There are many, but few reach the ground, however we must be prepared for a big one, because they are fatal and would finish a city.” Late last month, an asteroid came extremely close to striking the Earth. The fireball it created as it skipped through the atmosphere was seen over five states and Mexico where its shockwaves shook local houses, Puebla resident Eduardo Bravo told the Express.
“The sky was lit up as if lightning had struck and a few seconds later we saw an orange object like a rocket.”
Conspiracy theorists went crazy over the event, thinking aliens had finally decided to reveal their presence, and that forced NASA to hold a press conference explaining the earthly nature of the event. “The trajectory of big asteroids can be seen and monitored; the problem is the small ones that we cannot see.”
In April, NASA discovered 72 new asteroids approaching Earth as part of its NEO program designed to track potentially killer space rocks. NASA thinks there are about 10,000 giant rocks floating in space that could potentially at some time strike the Earth, but the space agency admits it can only track about 10 percent of the asteroids.
So far, the Earth has no planetary defense system, but there are several countries working on systems to protect the planet from a doomsday type event including the U.S. and Russia. Russia is planning to shoot missiles at any asteroid near enough to threaten the planet. It’s the country most affected by falling space rocks; almost every 50 years Russian cities have been damaged by asteroids. The last one came in 2013 when a 65-foot-wide rock dropped out of the Chelyabinsk sky and injured more than 1,000 people, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
The U.S. is also investing in planetary defense technology; the plan includes landing robots on smaller asteroids and remotely piloting them into the larger killer asteroid to save mankind from extinction. Neither country’s technology is ready for deployment. SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s plans to send a manned expedition to Mars by 2028. The billionaire, who also founded Tesla, may be our best hope for a quick response to a dangerous asteroid. I saw his impressive facilities on Vandenberg Air Force Base. Alien Life May be on Nearby Worlds
Coburn Palmer reports, that a second Earth like planet has been s spotted nearby. European scientists have discovered a batch of alien worlds out in deep space that could support extraterrestrial life including one orbiting the star closest to our Sun.
Astronomers from the European Southern Observatory (ESO) have spotted a faraway rocky and potentially habitable Earth-like planet orbiting Proxima Centauri, a red dwarf star 4.25 light years from the Sun.
An astrophysicist at the ESO broke the discovery of the alien world to the German magazine Der Spiegel, although the observatory is waiting for confirmation before it makes an official announcement later this month. “It was hard work finding the tiny celestial body. We were at the limits of what is technologically possible when it comes to measurements.”
The unnamed exoplanet is .24 light years away from the two stars of Alpha Centauri and is considered part of that system; the constellation is mainly visible from the southern hemisphere.
The faraway alien world circles a small cool red dwarf star, so it most probably exists in constant twilight and any plants and animals living on its surface would look drastically different from those on Earth.
The planet sits in the habitable “goldilocks” zone and should therefore be able to support liquid water on its surface, but because of the darkness, trees and shrubs on the surface would probably be pitch-black in color. The darkly colored leaves would enable the alien plants to use photosynthesis to survive.
The alien planet is several million years older than Earth, so it could contain higher life forms, similar to humans, but its star tends to erupt with violent solar storms, so it’s also possible all the rivers, lakes, and oceans evaporated a long time ago, according to Der Spiegel.
“Never before have planet-hunters come upon another possible Earth that is so nearby.” The still nameless planet is believed to be Earth-like and orbits at a distance to Proxima Centauri that could allow it to have liquid water on its surface — an important requirement for the emergence of life. Never before have scientists discovered a second Earth that is so close by.”
Another 20 potentially Earth-like planets with potential for water were discovered using NASA’s Kepler space telescope. They could contain alien life or one day be suitable for human colonization.
“It’s exciting to see the sheer amount of planets that are out there. [It] makes you think that there is zero chance of there not being another place where life could be found.” We might know more about the existence of extraterrestrial life on these distant alien planets when Stephen Hawking and Silicon Valley billionaire Yuri Milner finish building their fleet of nanocraft that are capable of reaching 30 percent the speed of light. The project, called Breakthrough Starshot, uses small wafer-thin spacecraft that are outfitted with special solar sails capable of catching lasers fired from Earth to accelerate into deep space. Once launched into space, the tiny ships could reach Alpha Centauri in 15 years where hopefully they woulddiscover more alien worlds, USC’s Professor Phillip Lubin told Universe Today.
Most of the nearby stars have exoplanets around them that may be able to support life.
GORNJA LAMOVITE — Radivoje Lajic believes he is under attack from outer space. A Bosnian man whose home has been hit an incredible five times by meteorites believes he is being targeted by aliens. Experts at Belgrade University have confirmed that all the rocks Radivoje Lajic has handed over were meteorites. They are now investigating local magnetic fields to try and work out what makes the property so attractive to the heavenly bodies. But Mr. Lajic, who has had a steel girder reinforced roof put on the house he owns in the village of Gornja Lamovite, has an alternative explanation.
He said: “I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don’t know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense. “The chance of being hit by a meteorite is so small that getting hit five times has to be deliberate. The strikes always happen when it is raining heavily, never when there are clear skies. He said: “I have had them all confirmed as meteorites by experts at Belgrade University.”I am being targeted by aliens. They are playing games with me.” Website
The Tubes on Mars May Hide Cities
Mars has often been hit by asteroids, therefore the Martians have apparently gone underground or at least developed protected tunnels or tubes for transportation and building of cities. As you can see in this NASA image of evidence drawn from MOC strip E12-03186, we can see giant tube evidence developed inside the bottom of a crater.
The top or northern most tube is the most fully formed and borders on what appears at first view to be natural adjacent terrain. The tubes here are a part of the much larger cohesive tube system to the immediate and adjacent south. You can see the sunlight reflections gleaming off of the top surface of the main top tube system. These lighter streaks paralleling the tube could also be the reflection of light from highways running inside the tubes.
Notice also the many vague light color spots all over the tubes and their not well defined but still uniform spacing as well as size and shape appearance. The appearance of these spots tends to encourage speculation that these spots are something under and/or within the tubes. The bottom tube encourages speculation that the flattened area of the mass may collect air and/or water. Many NASA images have shown water collecting at the bottom of craters. What little atmosphere detected on Mars would also tend to move to the bottom of craters making them an ideal place to construct living quarters?
Notice too that the light gleam and reflection reveals the edges of a narrow band of depression indentation that runs the entire longitudinal length of the main tube top surface and note it is fairly uniform in its width. This looks very much like something due to fairly recent expansion stress. This factor may be an indicator that this entire giant tube system may have undergone an enlarging expansion as to its width and girth after it was already fully formed. Notice also the vague darker streaks on or inside the main tube that may be structure support.
According to the MSSS supplied statistics, the strip on the top is 2.98 km wide or almost 2 miles wide and the strip on the bottom is 2.94 km wide. Remember that the tubes in both strips extend from one side edge to the other and off the strip with no signs of diminishment in size. They actually span a crater and may continue underground. Note that this is a total of 5.92 km or 3.68 miles in just the tube length we can see in the two strips.
However, you can also visually see that the space gap between the two strips is at the very minimum 3.0 km wide and probably more. When you add this minimum figure, you get 8.92 km or 5.54 miles of tube length. However, we can also reasonably assume that there is still plenty of tube system unseen off the left or west edge of the E12-03186 strip and off the right or east edge of the E11-03408 strip. Note that the dark area spread on the crater floor that is mostly the tube mass tends to confirm a much greater mass size beyond the limitations of the strip views and therefore probably substantial more tube length. So, we’re talking about a colossal tube system substantially longer than 5.5 miles and in fact many kilometers or miles longer than that could easily hide cities.
This image is from a different E11-03408 strip but is a section of the same tube system but this scene is a little further right or east. The combined strips reinforce the fact that this giant tube system is many kilometers long and that knowledge gives us a little better insight of the huge colossal scale we are really looking at here. Here again we have light reflections off of the tube’s top surface and this is again is strong evidence that the surface of these tubes is very smooth to the point of being slick like glass. A second tube is underneath and parallel to the main full blown top tube perhaps carrying water or air. There appears to be a colossal arched dome like top surface? Could these be the tops of buildings or some sort of vegetation, such as for example huge tree tops?
In this strip, you can also see the meandering streaks on or inside the main tube a strong indicator that the streaks are something formed inside the interior of the tube curling back around on itself in loops represents the activity of life of some kind. These giant kilometers long tubes could hold entire cities. I am fully satisfied that they at minimum represent the activities of life of some kind but we just can’t yet be sure as to what form of life. The most obvious speculation is that these are artificial construct hollow covers providing protective habitat and therefore may represent intelligent civilized life.
It must also be remembered that these tube shapes are very self contained and isolated and do not appear to mix with the immediate crater terrain they sit in. Dust is blown around Mars but these tubes are very unlikely to be formed by loose dust sediment piles.
So, we are talking about this monstrous dense mass standing elevated in a great uniformly rounded height taller than most skyscrapers and, if it was hollow, you could fly a number of 747s abreast down its inside length and never come close to the interior sides. It is able to support itself in a rounded elevated form. Pressurized air could theoretically hold the tubes up or it may have an intricate structure supporting it with a thermal heat fused exterior skin surface. Apopka – There were four bright lights in sky over my house. Each one has two or three big faces coming out of the worm hole portal star gate last October 2015, I was looking at the stars in the sky and observed several bright stars moving back and forth and changing direction. On every clear night I have taken pictures and zoom my X16 camera and the pictures show a blue disk. Within the last month, I have observed 4-5 bright lights in the sky directly over head my house. On August 13, 2016, I took five still pictures and three videos of each bright light at 9 PM, I see pig faces coming out (Canon A590IS camera in X16 zoom) of the worm hole portal star gate in the sky. I believe that the bright lights are at the elevation between 150,000-300,000 feet. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Indianapolis— Around 1 AM my sister and I were on my patio looking up at the stars and we could see the stars with clarity in the city. We saw a few shooting stars and I noticed what look like stars in a triangle formation. I even made a wisecrack about it being a UFO and we decided to go to the front yard once again and we saw the triangle lights. Then I looked out and what do I see almost directly in front of me but orb like lights that seemed to hover there. Zooming in and you could see one was spinning almost just completely weird. I’m convinced that that wasn’t an airplane.

Maryland Disc
Baltimore County — I was investigating storm drain locations for a drainage study I was doing for work when I found this object in the sky while scrolling through the Google Earth Street View.
You can find the object in Google Earth by going to the cul-de-sac (end) of Wolverton Road and zooming down to street view.
Slowly scrolling out of the cul-de-sac you will see the object in the sky for one frame. Scrolling one frame forward or backward from the object frame and the object disappears.

Nebraska Sphere
Bellevue — My son and I were running an errand and he was driving on July 25, 2015. We stopped at a stoplight at a crossroads at Cornhusker and 36th. I glanced right and noticed a sphere moving smoothly and steadily eastward. It was pretty big and moving, and reflective, which is why I noticed it. It was not a plane or balloon. It was moving in too smooth a fashion and struck me as mechanical. I thought “drone” but saw no evidence of propellers. I grabbed my iPhone 6 and took shots as I told my son to look. He saw what I saw. We understood we were seeing a UFO of some kind but neither of us was especially upset or excited. We saw that there were two objects moving in a steady, smooth way, lowering itself, then speeding slightly, until their speeds once again synced up. When the light changed, we drove away from the objects.

New Jersey UFO Takes on Water
Mt. Arlington— I was at my son’s house at 9:30 pm on July 10, 2016, we were watching fireworks when I noticed a red light to my right. It was making sharp angle turns and then hovered over the water. It looked like it was pulling water out of the lake for about 20 minutes. I thought it might be a helicopter. I was in the military for 15 years and never seen an aircraft do this ever.
I was amazed and shocked. I recorded it on my phone and showed the family. The next morning the recording was missing. Then the object shot off in a high rate of speed from a standstill and was gone. My son said he has seen unusual sightings before. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Mexico Light
Albuquerque — We were traveling and we stopped at the rest stop, just east of the New Mexico/Arizona border, to use the facilities on July 2, 2014. My wife was driving when we arrived at the rest stop and I had been taking pictures of the scenery along the way. After stopping, I took a few more pictures with my cell phone. The sun was directly above us and I got a good look at the pictures with the glare from the sun. When we reached our final destination, in Albuquerque, I uploaded the pictures to the computer and noticed something reflective in one of the pictures.
I enlarged the photo and I was stunned to see that it was a metallic looking object with no wings, propellers or rotors. I never saw the object with my eyes. I wasn’t taking a picture of a UFO it just appeared in the picture. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Manorville — I honestly believe that this is one of the most amazing videos ever recorded…from a scientific stand point…there is so much knowledge that could come from this video captured on August 11, 2016! I heard thunder outside in a beautiful blue sky, so I went outside to try and tape it with my phone. I was looking at the actual cloud and saw a flash of light that at first I thought was lightning. I braced for the thunder, which never came. I put the video on the computer and I saw the other black object fly by before the flash of light. I slowed it down on the computer enough to see it…it’s actually skipping frames. I mean you can actually close your eyes and hear it! I just feel overwhelmed about what I have on video.In the video, .the object comes from the left at incredible speed and goes slightly up…followed by a line of light that goes straight across the screen and appears to also come from the left. North Carolina Object
Charlotte — I had just gotten home from work on August 10, 2016, and I happened to look up at the sky because it was getting late and I love to watch the sunset. That’s when I saw the object. There were bright lights that changed colors frequently on this vehicle. It hovered for a while, turned counterclockwise, then moved rapidly to the left and then back to the right. It descended fairly quickly.
When I first saw it, it was so high up that I thought it was a plane but the colors were strange. Then it stopped moving so I definitely knew at that point that it was some type of UFO. I assumed it was a drone but I’m still unsure. I did not see it land because it was far way. The guy who cuts our grass was there as well and he was shocked just like I was. He actually tried to get a better view once it descended by running into someone’s backyard but it was gone by that time. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Ohio Orb
Willoughby – I was watching another sunset on the shore of Lake Erie on August 12, 2016, when an object just appeared and. I’ve watched thousands of sunsets and I’ve never seen anything like this. It stayed around hovering from above the horizon to moving closer in towards us over the water. I have no explanation of what this intriguing object was. Glowing orange and red orb that was above the horizon hovering to the left of the setting sun. Then the orb moved in closer to us and was on the right side of the sun still over the water. The orb then moved back to the left side of the sun but was still over the water and not above the horizon. We observed the orb for more than 7 minutes before it faded into the lake and the sun was still above the horizon and it set 10 minutes later. I was amazed by the object and couldn’t believe what we were seeing. When you see something like this with your own eyes it is very intriguing and needs an explanation. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Sherwood — Here is my UFO report for Sunday, July 31, 2016. I went outside at 4 PM, and looked up to see a white stationary object. I knew from experience it was a UFO and went to get my binoculars and camcorders. Through my high power binoculars I could see up close a fat saucer shaped object tilted 45 degrees and not moving. One half of the object was white in color and the other half clear transparent. I also could see evenly spaced ridges running around the rim. The object rotated very slowly over time. It looked to be about 10,000 feet high and was as big as an airliner?
The wind at upper levels was blowing from NW to SE and 10+ knots with no effect on the object. It was moving slow as to appear stationary. It took three hours to go from Sherwood to the east to the Tualatin area. My neighbor was also a witness. NUFORC reports, at 2 PM in Canby, not far from Sherwood a parachute shaped object was seen for two hours before I saw the same UFO here. It is not a weather balloon. Channel 12 news had a UFO report of a white object between 5 and 6 PM to the east? This object is not likely a weather balloon because the winds aloft would have kept the balloon to the south.
Update – Aug 11, 2016: The witness sent winds aloft and Doppler weather radar animations confirm that the winds were from the west to northwest. The Doppler weather radar did not show any unusual returns. The radar was in clear air mode and normally picks up birds, insects, etc. in this mode. The direction of movement suggests the object was moving with the very slow with the wind. There were several witnesses to the sighting and the object may have been visible for up to 5 hours. Utah Triangle
Salt Lake City — My family and I (myself 37 years of age, sister 24, brother 27 and my two boys 10 and 8) were driving up Interstate 15 on August 11, 2016. I was the first to notice a black object in the sky which seemed to be about three miles away, about 1500 feet off the ground. I made a joke to my boys to look there was a UFO. My sister said, “It’s just a cloud to which I responded, I know I’m just trying to trick the boys”. I did think it was weird that there was a single low black cloud and not all that far away. We watched as it got closer and had more defined edges and seemed solid. I decided to take pictures, but they did not turn out well zoomed to the max. After taking several pictures and looking through what I took I looked up and there were now three black classic UFO shape objects. Then two and then one again, but I did not see them separate or come back together. It then seemed to pick up speed continuing north and within seconds was gone. My brother and I both thought the object was about 500 yards across and about half that tall. The three were evenly spaced 600 yards apart and the kids were scared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Camping outside my house, my wife pointed to it that was at least four times brighter then the North Star on August 15, 2016. It hovered blinking a blue and red light. Then it lowered its light intensity and then it changed direction and just faded out right in front of me. I felt vilified in my belief in something more than human life. I scrambled for my camera, which later was a mistake because days later when I started reviewing the footage I was visited by something that had only sound, feelings and demonstrations of power only. As I said earlier it just disappeared right in front of me like it was still there, but no longer wanted to be seen. And you can’t ask my wife either because for the past 6 years she’s been afraid of the recurrences. I have so much footage that I had to put it in my alternate server because it keeps disappearing off my computer drives and the web. Cheticamp, NS — On July 31st, 2016, I was taking pictures of the sunset and I turned and noticed these two objects moving without making a sound. There was no trail behind them like a jet. They were moving fast at the same speed about two miles apart and kept that distance until disappearing behind the mountain. I took of few pictures

Mississauga — I was driving to a friend’s barbeque with my husband and I always take pictures while he drives.
That day I was trying to get a picture of two buildings very famous in Mississauga and almost missed because at that point we were turning; so I attempted to take the picture.
I was checking my photos and when I opened them, and I noticed this object on the upper corner. When I zoomed in the picture looks like a non identity object.

I saw the object as at changed direction. The UFO came out from earth and changed direction in outer air space.

Ireland Object doing 180
My cousins and I were sleeping at the roof top after testing our new cameras. I had Fujifilm hs10 compact version. For fun we took a few shots with flash of the dark sky on November 28, 2011. The results: only captured dust and complete black in pictures. A few minutes later I saw a moving object that had same size as a star in the sky, but moved really fast. I asked my cousins do you see what I’m seeing?
They were shocked and asked me what is this? I love physics and study a lot about astrophysics and satellites, so I told them it’s probably a satellite. Then we saw the object go fast from right to left and suddenly turn back 180 degrees very fast. I told them no human or aircraft can handle this force of Gs. We observed the object repeat that move making a 180 degree turn. After turning the lights off, I realized that the object was near not that far up in the mesosphere Thanks to MUFON CMS
Kashan— It was partly cloudy, I was walking near 8:30 PM, and I saw, there was a light column like cone in north sky. Its direction was to the east, that means its pointed side was on the right and its base was on the left (west). Step by step the object moved to the west slowly and came out behind the cloud and turned south. It was a little bigger and brighter than the moon.
I just stared at object. After a minute it spun like whirligig top and its spinning speed grew faster, and dropped clouds around itself to its sides. There was a hole without a cloud in the sky and the object was at center of this circle.
Then suddenly it disappeared and for several minutes clouds were moving and going far away from that circle from where the object was located and it disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Portugal Lights
Charneca de Caparica — In my nights of observations I got the reward of seeing UFOs on August 13, 14 and 15: Tenacity paid off, the weekend for all UFOs. I saw blue orbs pulsating, first along the coast, then over my house. I start to interact with a flashlight and I got the attention of a blue orb as you can see on the clip. Then on 14 August all UFOs get loose. A red UFO started to hover and fly all-over the valley even after planes. I tried to interact making flash light signals, and he approached and it changed from red to a flashing copper-green.
I have a cam in one hand and the flash light in the other and do the best I can. On Day 14, I see a blue orb and one hour later I got a shower of fireflies all over plan see a blue pulsating orb crossing the sky NW, much faster than a bullet. I was military 5 years and I know the speed of trace bullets. I would like to create a dynamic in the planet by watching these UFO movements. Please help me saying and proving that what I see every day all year is manmade.

Puerto Rico Mothership
The Rain Forest area of Puerto Rico (I believe it is the Western end of the island) has much Star Visitor activity as I understand! The crystalline bed would certainly act as a beacon and a navigational tool for the Visitors. A good friend who was a senior physicist at Lockheed told me of visiting a Lockheed facility in Puerto Rico about 15 years ago. The facility was located in a valley – he chose to take a break from work towards sunset by walking along the ridge line of the facility which was some distance below him in the valley. Well, he told me it was still quite sunny and unexpectedly he noticed being immersed in sudden shadow – since there were no clouds in the sky he was most curious, when he looked up he saw an immense mothership (his term) which was not ours slowly gliding over the valley! What truly shocked him was that this mothership completely covered the entirety of the valley both length and wide and dwarfed the huge Lockheed facility down below! He said it seemed to have taken several minutes before the craft passed completely over the valley once again allowing sunlight to bath both he and the Lockheed facility in the valley below. This fellow was no stranger to the craft of Star Visitors but told me he had never seen a craft of such enormous proportions previously!

Romania Lights
Deva — I was out in my garden on August 12, 2016, and saw lights and a plane. It went in the night sky south at a higher speed than a plane. The lights had a strange way of flashing that I have never seen before on a plane or any other object.
I took a photo because I thought it was interesting. I went back in the house to see the photos and I enhanced every image of the stars. I felt normal and started Googling what I saw. It went out of sight like any other normal object in the night sky. Thanks to MUFON CMS
UK/ England Object
I was in the park when I saw a weird looking black oval in the sky on August 14, 2016. It looked like a drone but was obviously bigger. When I got a closer look it had a curved rectangle on the front changing from blue to green.
It also had two cuboids dangling down vertically from the oval. I was very scared at first then it vanished completely. But around 15-20 minutes later it was back going in multiple directions. I got a photo of it this time but it was much further away.

Our technologies may be more powerful than ever, but what is the real threat to our future? Here, Oxford Artificial Intelligence professor Nigel Shadbolt investigates.
THE AGE OF THE AI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is enjoying one of its periodic moments in the limelight. Why this interest now? Some of this we can put down to the ongoing fascination Hollywood seems to have with AI. From Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, Stephen Spielberg’sArtificial Intelligence to Alex Garland’s Ex Machina; Hollywood has made enjoyable films and good money out of AI.
These films have inspired generations of AI students. Indeed AI was once described as making computers that behave like the ones in the movies! However, Hollywood invariably takes a dystopian view of the subject. The computers and robots are usually mad, bad and dangerous to know. Yet this doesn’t seem to hinder AI’s popularity.
A second reason that AI is in vogue, is that some of the planet’s greatest scientists and innovators have been telling us to take care. Stephen Hawking is worried that super smart computers could spell the end of the human race. Elon Musk donated $10million to keep AI beneficial. And a year ago we saw the publication of an open letter from leading Artificial Intelligence experts, arguing for vigilance so as to ensure that this fast developing field benefits humanity.
A third reason that AI is much talked about is because our machines seem to be getting ever more prescient, even anticipating our needs. This is what struck Stephen Hawking when he upgraded the system that enables him to write and communicate despite his motor neuron disease. What the computer could do surprised him – just how smart it was – seeming to anticipate what he wanted to write next. This set him thinking about just how intelligent computers were becoming and how quickly that was happening.
The fact is that our computers just get better and better. Propelled by the exponents that drive the science and engineering of hardware and software, our devices become twice as powerful every eighteen months or so. The machines my students use are now one million times more powerful than those I used when I began my studies in AI.
These more powerful machines have more data to access using more sophisticated algorithms; they contain more sensors that deliver more functionality. And, of course, they can draw on even more power and data from the Cloud. The result is a supercomputer in our pockets that sometimes acts as a phone, but can also recognise speech, faces, and patterns of all kinds. A device that can connect to the colossal repository of human knowledge that is the World Wide Web and answer questions on anything from Genghis Khan to the weather in Houston, current traffic conditions in London to a book I might like to read given my reading preferences over the past few years.
AI research has exploited the increased power of computers and the access to huge amounts of data to write programs that can “learn”, “understand” and “anticipate”. This is why when you ask your phone “When did Michelangelo die?” certain brands will answer in synthesised speech “Michelangelo died the 8th of February 1564 aged 88”. It will also provide you with a screen full of additional information about the Italian genius and polymath.
This kind of response is now accepted as normal and routine.
AI has delivered many components of smart behaviour. If we think about it, we don’t expect that they really “learn”, “understand” or “anticipate” in the way we humans do. There is no attempt to cognitively emulate the task; to build a system that recognises faces or speech in the way humans do. They deliver on tasks that were once seen as the high frontier of AI. It is worth remembering that the programs on our phone have no interest or sense of pride in a task well executed.
IS THERE SOMETHING TO FEAR?
Nevertheless, AI systems, with their unnervingly swift and accurate responses, lead us to assume a formidable intelligence sat behind this performance. The US features a hugely popular game show called Jeopardy, in which contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in the form of questions.
If you watch a YouTube clip of IBM’s computer Watson playing Jeopardy, we see it ultimately beat the best human players. It is easy to think of Watson as a super intelligent machine. It is smart at playing Jeopardy. But it couldn’t suddenly start playing Go or Monopoly. It is good at a particular task.
The imminent arrival of a general AI was also much discussed in the late 1990s when a computer beat the world chess champion Gary Kasparov. That machine’s performance psychologically undermined Kasparov; he has convinced it was reading his mind. Deep Blue played chess by looking deep into millions of possible moves, by having databases with huge numbers of opening moves, the end stage of a game and so on.
But Deep Blue could no more transfer its skills to Jeopardy than Jeopardy could use its methods and algorithms to play chess. We have no real idea how to endow our computers with overarching general intelligence. We have no real idea how to build an intelligence that is reflective, self-aware and able to transfer skills and experience effortlessly from one domain to another.
That doesn’t mean that the achievements of AI should be diminished. I have mentioned a few of the services we now enjoy thanks to AI research. I could have included machine translation, robotics and software agents. We have new variants of machine learning that can achieve super-human levels of behaviour on specific tasks with only a few hours training. But our programs are not about to become self-aware or decide that we are redundant. The threat as ever is us; not artificial intelligence but rather our own natural stupidity.
We most certainly need to think about the limits of ever more capable autonomous systems, whether pilotless drones or automated trading systems. We need to consider what limits we place on these systems. We most certainly need to consider the restraints and safeguards that we need to engineer into the hardware, software and deployment policies of our current AI systems. But the next self-aware computer you encounter will only be appearing at a cinema near you.

German scientists have found remnants of a supernova, in the form of iron-60, in fossils left by magnetotactic bacteria. The scientists are also looking at the timing of the supernova, which coincides with an extinction event that effected mollusks.
MAGNETOFOSSILS
Fossils are one of the major ways scientists can have windows to what happened in the past. The biology and chemistry of ancient Earth is locked up in these primitive time capsules, giving great insight into what was going on millions of years ago.
Still, no one expected a case of ancient astronomy with the use of fossils. German scientists have found remnants of a supernova encased in the fossilized chains of “magnetofossils,” extracted from two Pacific Ocean sediment cores.
The study, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, located traces of iron-60, a mildly radioactive kind of iron that supernovae expel in huge quantities. Naturally occurring iron-60 isn’t as common, so most traces found are normally attributed to supernova activity.
The iron-60 was found encased in biologically produced nanocrystals of magnetite. To be specific, they were created by microbes known as magnetotactic bacteria.

ANCIENT EXPLOSIONS
The supernova that expelled the iron-60 is believed to have occurred at least 325 light-years away from Earth, around 2 million years ago.
These kinds of explosions are estimated to generate massive amounts of iron-60—five to 10 times the mass of the sun. Natural processes that generate iron-60 only make up to one-tenth as much, which is why supernovae are the most likely source when the isotope is found in the Earth or on the moon.
The timing of the supernova is particularly interesting. Iron-60 first appears in the core samples around 2.6 million – 2.8 million years ago, bombarding the Earth for nearly 800,000 years. This corresponds with an extinction event which occurred in that timeframe, affecting mollusks such as marine snails and bivalves. There was also a global cooling at the same time.
This leads to the question of whether the supernova and the extinction event are related or a mere coincidence.
To landlubbers centuries ago, the prospect of getting on a ship and crossing an ocean was probably just as murky a concept as today’s belief that spaceships can be sent into outer space to build colonies and land on asteroids to extract minerals. New generations of swashbuckling spacemen will soon come back to earth with amazing stories about the new frontier.
Scientists believe they can get enough raw materials resources and minerals from asteroids that mining them will be economically viable. With a current cost of $10,000 to launch just 1 pound of material into space, advocates of asteroid mining believe profits are possible.
Raw materials would include metals, volatile compounds, water, and more. One of the risks and challenges in choosing an asteroid is determining if it has enough valuable materials to make the mining profitable. Another possible destination for mining is the hydrocarbon lakes that can be found on Saturn’s moon Titan.
According to asteroid mining experts such as Planetary Resources and Deep Space Industries, asteroids are most likely to be mined in orbit or after being redirected to the moon where mining can take place, natural resources extracted, and fuel and spare parts manufactured with the raw materials that have been obtained. Some scenarios will involve mining for natural resources as an asteroid is moving at thousands of miles an hour.
According to NASA, materials that are frozen in asteroids “can be used in developing the space structures and in generating the rocket fuel that will be required to explore and colonize our solar system in the 21st century.”
The first big asteroid mining event is set to occur in 2023 when NASA launches the OSIRIS-REx mission that will return a sample from the asteroid Bennu. This will give scientists their first opportunity to study materials that were created early in the life of our solar system.

Onlangs werd Clifford Stone aan de tand gevoeld over zijn betrokkenheid bij een topgeheim programma van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht rond UFO’s en de communicatie met buitenaardsen.
De gepensioneerde sergeant was tussen 1968 en 1990 werkzaam in het Amerikaanse leger. Hij werd naar eigen zeggen ingezet om contact te maken met buitenaardse wezens. Stone was als kind al geïnteresseerd in UFO’s en had telepathisch contact met aliens. Om die reden werd hij gerekruteerd door de luchtmacht.
Het klinkt als een aflevering van een sciencefictionserie, maar Stone is bloedserieus. Hij heeft zelfs geheime informatie opgediept om zijn uitspraken te staven.
Tijdens een recente aflevering van het programma Cosmic Disclosure op zender Gaia ging hij dieper in op incidenten die plaatsvonden gedurende zijn tijd in het leger. Een duidelijk geëmotioneerde Stone vertelt dat hij op een avond met een groep soldaten naar een crashplek in het reservaat Indiantown Gap werd gestuurd en tot zijn verbazing een schijfvormig object uit de grond zag steken.
Geheime projecten
Hij liep op het object af en zag aan de zijkant een luik zitten. Toen hij het luik opende zag hij een zogenoemde Grey, een wezen dat ongeveer een meter lang was. “Breng me een officier,” stamelde Stone.
De dag erop werd het object weggehaald door het leger. De soldaten kregen te horen dat het een experimenteel onbemand toestel was en dat niemand erover mocht praten.
Hij claimt te zijn getraind op Fort McClellan in Alabama, waarna hij regelmatig werd opgeroepen om te helpen gecrashte UFO’s te bergen. Door middel van Wob-verzoeken heeft Stone documenten en memo’s boven water weten te krijgen over geheime projecten zoals Moon Dust en Blue Fly, die in het leven waren geroepen om wrakstukken van UFO’s op te ruimen. De informatie gebruikt hij om zijn beweringen te staven.
57 buitenaardse soorten
Tijdens de uitzending vertelt Stone verder dat hij op een geheime missie naar Vietnam werd gestuurd, waar hij wezens zag die niet konden worden uitgeschakeld met conventionele wapens. Ook zegt hij een buitenaardse ‘gast’ te hebben bevrijd uit de handen van het leger.
Van een kolonel kreeg hij naar eigen zeggen een lijvige handleiding met informatie over 57 buitenaardse soorten die bekend waren bij het Amerikaanse leger.
“In een aantal gevallen werden we naar plekken gestuurd waar schotels waren neergestort,” zei Stone in een eerder interview. “In een aantal gevallen waren er ook lichamen. Sommige wezens waren nog in leven. We vertelden de Amerikaanse bevolking en de rest van de wereld steeds dat er niets aan de hand was.”

An official NASA video reveals the moment a bright UFO performs an impossible maneuver in space, right near the STS-114 mission.
Two and a half years after the tragic loss of Space Shuttle Colombia on February 2013, NASA had finally improved the safety measures and was ready to launch another mission intended to test the new technical characteristics and equipment.
On July 26, 2005, Space Shuttle Discovery was launched into space and was about to perform an almost two weeks journey on the outskirts of planet Earth. Its novel improvements were documented by a series of new and upgraded ground-based cameras, a radar system and airborne cameras aboard high altitude aircraft.
However, the STS-14 mission didn’t go without problems. After takeoff, analysts at NASA saw that a piece of foam had dropped from the external tank. After Commander Eileen Collins executed the first Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver, which literally flipped the shuttle over, crew members were able to take photographs of the underside of Discovery that immediately confirmed the alleged problem seen after the launch.
Astronaut Steve Robinson was assigned to carry out the necessary repairs. Using an extensive robotic arm, he was able to remove the protruding debris, thus allowing for Discovery to dock with the International Space Station and carry on with its initial mission. At this point however, a bizarre object was caught on the installed cameras while performing a law-defying maneuvers (at least impossible in regards to our earthly standards).
The spontaneous flip of the craft caught a glimpse of the object that seemed to deliberately stay out of range from the installed cameras. The UFO appeared white and shined bright in contrast to the blackness of space. It flew relatively close to the shuttle, at a distance that would allow for a clear view of what was going on, and it would have passed as a mere piece of space debris unless it performed an impossible turning maneuver that, for now, can’t be explained by our existing laws of physics. To highlight the anomaly, let’s have a look at Newton’s Laws of Motion that state the following: “An object set into motion in the vacuum of space will continue forever in the same course, unless acted upon by an outside force.” The above video clearly breaks this notion, as the UFO is seen changing its course. Because of the curved trajectory it follows, it has been nicknamed “The Boomerang”, and although NASA has been aware of this peculiar catch, a thorough analysis of the event has failed to make it into the public view. In fact, the space agency decided to focus on other ‘relevant’ facts regarding the STS 114 mission by simply debunking the curious UFO as being a piece of wandering space debris from a satellite. But is NASA to be trusted? Does this prove that the renowned space agency has more knowledge of UFO activity on our planet than they’re letting us know?
According to the UFO community, the object appears to be intelligently controlled, and it’s easy for anyone to realize this because of the circular trajectory the speeding object takes. Until this day, the STS 114 UFO remains one of the best (official) evidence of otherworldly visitors we have. Could this be an authentic example of an alien craft surveilling our earthly activity in space? Or rather a natural occurring phenomenon that has been misinterpreted from the beginning?
Whatever the case, this video stands alongside other relevant examples of unidentified objects near NASA’s official missions, both in space and on the Earth.

A New Mexico witness near Roswell reported watching a light flash response in the sky after setting off an LED light sequence on the ground, according to testimony in Case 77936 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness and her brother were about 41 miles outside Roswell and stopped along Pine Lodge Road at 9:30 p.m. on July 3, 2016, when the incident occurred.
The witness was flashing LED lights and got a response from the night sky about 41 miles outside of Roswell, NM.

“We were standing in front of Chuck’s pick-up truck facing southeast,” the witness stated. “Altair (brightest star in the constellation Aquila and the twelfth brightest star in the night sky) was in our clear vision in front of us. I had tried to focus my mini cam on the area when we first arrived, but because there was no moon there wasn’t enough light for the camera. Chuck was sitting on the tailgate of his truck and noticed a single flash to the northwest. He thought it was a meteor coming straight in but never saw additional evidence of this. Chuck thought the flash could have been an iridium flare but never saw additional evidence of this either.”
The two began to star gaze.
“There was no moon, so the sky was dark with the Milky Way clearly visible overhead, but slightly to our front vision. After just a few minutes, Chuck said, ‘I’m going to try something,’ He took his remote for his truck grill LED lights out of his pocket and hit the button. The first sequence was an on-off, on-off, on-off. Chuck decided to try the next sequence which was four flashes, pause, one flash. We never expected to get a response.”
But the two did get a response.
“The response was flash, flash. Chuck looked at me and said, ‘Did you see that?’ I replied, ‘yes.’ We both laughed. I said, ‘hit it again’ and he did. We never expected it, but got a second response, flash, flash. Chuck said, ‘I can’t believe I’m seeing this’ as he looked at me in shock. Chuck said, ‘what do you think?’ I said, ‘hit the remote again!’ Chuck did and we got a double flash third response.”

The two tried to consider an explanation for the light response.
“Chuck kept saying, ‘It’s got to be a plane from behind the clouds.’ I said, ‘there are no clouds, that’s the Milky Way!’ Chuck decided to keep hitting the remote while I looked frantically in the area of the light for a plane, helicopter, satellite, iridium flare, anything. After the first three return double light flashes there were no more responses.”
The two continued to look for clues.
“I checked the star charts from my iPad app to best determine what area the flashes came from (Altair) and noted the time (9:30p.m.). At 10:30 p.m.: The cows in the field across the road began to moo and coyotes began to howl. Chuck had taken his night vision binoculars out a few minutes before to look at the Milky Way. He thought the flash we had seen had come from behind a cloud, but I assured him there were no clouds – just the Milky Way. The night vision binoculars proved that. We were looking at a section of the Milky Way, no clouds in our field of view. The night vision binoculars worked at first for just a few minutes, then quit. While Chuck was working on them discovering that the batteries were drained, his truck dash lights came on without any action from either of us. We were not in contact with the truck. EMF and animal reaction was now present.”
The two decided to move out of the area.

“Time: 10:45p.m. (One and-a-half hours after light that flashed). With the EMF effects present we decided it was time to go back to Roswell. It had been one and-a-half hours since the light flashed. We were approximately 40 minutes from town and something was causing EMF and animal reaction. We were worried about the truck electronics going out and the two of us stuck all night on the side of the road. The locals had told us of a road they feared and wouldn’t drive at night because of ‘strange goings on.’ We weren’t sure if this was the road, but thought it was time to leave. Besides, if ET wanted to visit us they obviously from the flashing light response, knew where to find us. We both agreed that the EMF was most likely coming from an outside more local source that was monitoring us being watched. Note:A dark pick-up truck passed us heading towards Roswell just before the EMF effect. Chuck also saw a red SUV. It traveled down the road we were parked at the base of approximately a quarter-mile and stopped. We had only seen one vehicle prior. One was seen right after we arrived and then two more at approximately 10:30p.m. The area is very rural.”
