Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sightings were reported over Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington. Sightings of UFOs were also reported in Australia, Canada, Columbia, Ireland, Mexico, Russia, and the United Kingdom.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Gold-mine worm called nematode shows life could be living on Mars

If complex life forms are able to survive inside cracks deep inside Earth, it raises the possibility that they might have survived undetected in similar environments on Mars.

Carl Pilcher , director of NASA's Astrobiology Institute in Moffett Field, California, points out that Tullis Onstott has previously discovered a bacterium living 2.8 kilometers underground, completely isolated from all other ecosystems on Earth ( Science , DOI: 10.1126/science.1127376 ). The bug gets its energy from the radioactive decay of elements in the surrounding rocks. "The significance was that you could imagine an ecosystem existing in the subsurface of a planet that didn't have a photosynthetic biosphere, like Mars," he says.

Until now, it was thought such an ecosystem could be made of bacteria only. But Tullis Onstott's new findings have completely changed that. "It has extended the [earlier] work to an animal," says Pilcher.

"These nematodes are grazing on microbes. So now you could imagine that if animal life had ever developed on a planet, and the surface of that planet became lifeless," Pilcher explains, "you could imagine that animals [small enough to fit in tiny cracks] could coexist with microbial ecosystems all powered by radioactivity." Due to the expense and contamination associated with coring from the surface, few microbial rock and water samples have been collected from depths greater than 0.5 kilometers. These few samples, nevertheless have demonstrated that microbial communities do exist in a variety of subsurface rocks and sediments down to 2.8 kilometers below the surface

Mars Structures, Water, and Food

Norman Bryden writes, "Located in the circled area of this Mars Global Surveyor image is what appears to be a twin-columned tower straddling an overpass for some kind of travel system. Some of the road-like or tube structures seem to be elevated. Please observe other building-like structures along the sides and in the corners of the crossroads and intersections. In various images probable road or travel systems show a coloration of segmentation. This could suggest the roads and tube systems are in use, as we see the same type of segmentation in images of our modern roads and highways. Many structures in images from Mars look intact, suggesting Mars is currently inhabited. Thanks to Norman Bryden

Opportunity Rover Finds Strong Evidence Meridiani Planum Was Wet

On March 2, 2004 JPL scientists announced the part of Mars that NASA's Opportunity rover is exploring was soaking wet in the past as we have predicted for several years. The rover found evidence in a rock outcrop and the presence of sulfates, and niches where crystals grew. The scientists are convinced that liquid water once flowed through these rocks. It changed their texture, and it changed their chemistry," said Dr. Steve Squyres of Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, principal investigator for the science instruments on Opportunity and its twin, Spirit. "NASA launched the Mars Exploration Rover mission specifically to check for water and an environment that could possibly have been hospitable to life. Today we have strong evidence for an exciting answer:

Mars -- Evidence of Geysers and Flowing Water

Sir Charles W. Shults III reports, "Data from Opportunity, Sol 183 shows a typical Martian geyser or periodic spring." The only image data there is to work with is from L2, L5, and R1. This is a left infrared image, a left green, and a right violet. I have been able to assemble the following false color image that is merely an approximation. The top left of the stone slab shows a deep depressed slot outlining the stone. The sand around it is extremely clean and all debris is missing from the area. This is one of the signs of sand that has been washed and then vacuum dried.

The water emerged, sluiced through the sand, some ran back down into the slot, and the thin air vacuum dried the sand. By contrast, to the upper right we can see where the spherules have gone. They have washed over to the other side of the slab. Notice how concentrated they are. In this magnified view, we see the slot which is like a periodic spring and the results of water flow. Notice how the sand is "cleaned" and has no spherules or small particles. All the small particles have been washed over to the upper right area of the image. The spherules have also been sorted by water flow and are much denser in the right of the image. Notice the rippled character of the sand inside the slot itself. Mars Blueberries May Be Vegetation

Dr. Annamarie Johnstone writes, "The blue berries in the Opportunity Rover image may be fruticose type rock lichens (symbiotic plants composed of fungi and algae.) Forming a mutualistic relationship, the dense skin of the fungus protects the interior algal cells from desiccation, in turn, the photosynthetic algae, using sunlight, and produce food for the fungus. Lichens are brightly colored pioneer plants in an ecosystem, capable of "shutting down" metabolically, when subjected to unfavorable environmental conditions. As a result, they are able to survive extreme heat, cold and drought.

Lichens grow only when moisture is available, so the amount of moisture governs their rate of growth. Composed mainly of carbohydrates with a small percentage of protein, rock lichen species can be a food source for animals, man, and perhaps Martians. The frigid community is made up mostly of primitive creatures called Cyanobacteria, which live in tightly-woven groups called microbial mats. The microbes produce chemicals that act as anti-freeze and UV shields, protecting them from frigid temperatures and from sunlight. I remain convinced that the Mars "Blueberries" are fossilized Cyanobacteria (also known as blue green algae) in an inclusion layer of mineralized sediment that can be sectioned and observed. Ancient Carolina, South Africa Gold Mining Cities 200,000 years old

Over the past 20 years, people like Cyril Hromnik, Richard Wade, and a handful of others have discovered that these stone structures are not what the seem to be. In fact these are now believed to be the remains of ancient temples and astronomical observatories of lost ancient civilizations that stretch back for many thousands of years located near 25 55' 53.28" S / 30 16' 13.13" E

These circular ruins are spread over a huge area. They can only truly be appreciated from the air or through modern satellite images. Many of them have almost completely eroded or have been covered by the movement of soil from farming and the weather. Some have survived well enough to reveal their great size with some original walls standing almost 5 feet high and over a meter wide in places.

Looking at the entire metropolis, it becomes obvious that this was a well planned community, developed by a highly evolved civilization. There are numerous ancient gold mines suggesting the reason for the community being in this location. We find roads -- some extending a hundred miles -- that connected the community and terraced agriculture, closely resembling those found in the Inca settlements in Peru.

Robert Hastings: Unidentified Aerial Object Sighted During October 2010 Nuclear Missile Incident

TAOS -- Robert Hastings writes, "On October 23, 2010, F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming temporarily lost the ability to communicate with 50 of its Minuteman III missiles. The five Missile Alert Facilities responsible for launching those ICBMs—Alpha through Echo, comprising the 319th Strategic Missile Squadron—would have been unable to do so during the period of the disruption.

This dramatic story was leaked to Mark Ambinder, a contributing editor at The Atlantic, which published it three days later. The U.S. Air Force then quickly acknowledged the problem, saying that a back-up launch system could have performed the task and claiming that the breakdown had lasted a mere 59 minutes.

The confidential Air Force sources also report that their squadron commander has warned witnesses not to talk to journalists or researchers about "the things they may or may not have seen" in the sky and has threatened severe penalties for anyone violating security. Consequently, these persons must remain anonymous at this time

According to two missile technicians stationed at F.E. Warren, the communications issue, while intermittent, actually persisted over several hours. Significantly, these same individuals report sightings by "numerous teams" of an enormous, cigar-shaped craft that maneuvered high above the missile field on the day of the disruption. The huge UFO appeared similar to a World War I German Zeppelin, (shown here) but had no passenger gondola or advertising on its hull, as would a commercial blimp.

Alaska Ufos Watching for Earthquakes

Seward -- In addition to regular UFO sightings we had a nice earth quake, a few days back in Seward, of at least a 5.5 or better. It woke me from my sleep and, lasted about 40 seconds, on my way to anchorage you could see the cracks in the highway. I believe the ground has been moving a bit up here. Arizona Fifteen Objects and Light Swiggle

GLENDALE -- On June 11 2011, I was outside with my nephews playing football when my cousin looked up and said, "What is that? There were 14 to 15 objects in the sky so my nephew ran inside and got my camera. Soon after that I took a few pictures. They slowly moved all together but one that stayed right over above for about 15 minutes some say balloons some say ufo you be the judge. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Sedona -- I brought my Canon 5D Mark II 21.1 Megapixel Camera and tripod to do some photography of the stars. One setting allowed longer exposures to get better light into the camera. The temperature is about 25 degrees Fahrenheit. We didn't notice the object until we got home and uploaded it to my Mac. A friend noticed the objects. I lost sight of object when I turned the camera and continued fishing, towards north towards the Sedona Airport.

I noticed the "star" like object that moved in 3 different frames, all time delayed 6 seconds. No other stars or the Airplane even look like this. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Sphere

Woodside -- I am a delivery driver in the Bay Area. After completing a deliver y on June 24, 2011, I was on Woodside Road when I saw a cluster of silver or blackish sphere/circular objects. I pulled into the parking lot of Karakade Thai Cuisine and these objects were hovering in formation for several minutes. At first, they were headed towards me but headed back north to Redwood City where they were coming from.

As I watched and tried to record one of the balls it flew semi-low reflecting red light from the sun looking like the ball of a sheet flapping in the air. It was a solid object but it looked like it had waves in it. It was not a balloon. The reflections were intense and many disappeared over time. The final three were lined up in an "Orion's belt" shape across the sky, and then faded to white lights. Only one out of 20 objects showed up in one photo. Colorado Air Traffic Controller Reports a UFO

TIMNATH -- Three circular, translucent craft in triangle formation were observed moving west for a period of 15 seconds on May 26, 2011. I was standing outside when I saw what appeared to be a faint shooting star moving toward me at high speed maintaining a constant altitude with no sound. As an air traffic controller, I've spent twenty years observing aircraft and they passed directly overhead at 8,000 feet and 1500 knots. The three circular craft were in a perfect triangle formation, and made absolutely despite their fast speed and passing directly overhead.

They were translucent, and displayed the night sky on the bottom of the craft. The only reason I saw the craft is because they were glowing orange due to their speed and proximity to the ground. They had no lights of any kind typical to other aircraft. I watched them approach from the east, pass overhead, and head west. I believe it was three separate craft. Florida Diamond

BOCA RATON -- I was with my boss and his wife when I saw a diamond shaped object heading west after sundown on Saturday, June 18, 2011. The object had what appeared to be a flame emitting from the center but it made no noise. I could only make out the shape of the outline due to the shimmering from the center. It appeared to be descending possibly due to damage to the craft, hence the fire. We were directly east of the Florida Everglades so the object headed into a sparsely populated area. Crystal Lake -- On June 22, 2011, I was on my morning bike ride around 7:30 AM, and I stopped to take a break, before I turned to go back home. I noticed the sun looked inspirational peeking thru the clouds so I took a picture. When I came home I opened the picture to show my wife how pretty the sun was. It was then I noticed this oval amber light.

I couldn't explain it. At school people said wow looks crazy I agreed. Amber reflects around the clouds as well. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Greenwood -- On June 21, 2011, around 11 PM, I went into my back yard to have a smoke and noticed a strange light moving north. It kept getting bigger and brighter and pulsed in shades of orange. I knew something was extremely odd, so I ran and got my camcorder and started filming. I zoomed in as close as I could go and then I realized this thing was not right. It had what looked like circular swirl marks in or on it and they would change and then it just vanished. The object was filmed with a Sony Handy cam Dcr-Sr68 over a farm field. This was all odd in itself but, this isn't the first time I saw something strange on June 16, 2008. I videotaped them was three years and four days apart. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Kansas Fat Missile

TOPEKA -- My wife and I were outside standing on the porch on June 22, 2011,, when I noticed from the southeast a strange shining object. I said to my wife would you look at this it's weird. There's no sound at all and no contrails like a plane, I think it's a UFO. She tried to take a picture with her camera phone, but couldn't get it in frame. My neighbors were trying to figure out what we were seeing right in front of us in broad daylight!! It was moving pretty slow so m y neighbor went in her home and retrieved her binoculars. It was shaped like a short fat missile with 2 large circular lights beneath it. We watched it travel from east to west until it was no longer visible. About five minutes later it returned heading from the east to west. On June 23, 2011, about 3:10 PM we witness three or more military choppers flying the same direction as if they were tracking something in the air. They flew back and forth for about 45 minutes. Kentucky Disc

Berea -- We were having severe storm warnings all day on June 23, 2011. That evening the clouds begin to break up and there were some beautiful cumulus clouds behind the house with the sun's rays shining through the clouds. So I decided to get my camera and take some pictures. These pictures were taken within 1 minute and 30 seconds. When I went back into the house and down loaded the pictures onto my computer I notice there were some objects in several pictures. One object was disc shape and the other was shape like a cigar/ cylinder shape. Thanks to MUFON CMS

The big ship was the size of a football field long and half a football field wide and there all difference like of light under the ship. In the middle the ship there was like a window that goes all around it. I look like to me hovered over the trees cross the country road that is. I can tell you more if you like to know more. Maine Green Glowing Flying Tad Pole

Caribou -- I just got off of work on June 23, 2011, at 12:38 AM, and was heading north on Route 1 towards Van Buren when I saw green objects that lasted maybe three seconds. I had a green tail/middle with a white tip at the head. It looked almost like a glowing flying tad pole that lasted three seconds and vanished. This wasn't a planet, plane or helicopter. I considered maybe a shooting star. This was short, fat and didn't leave any type of trail behind as they do in the photos. I'm lucky I was able to view this as it happened so fast. In 41 years I have never seen something like this while driving. It was dark green and glowing at the end and the middle. This happened so fast I wouldn't have been able to take a photo. New Jersey Gigantic UFOs Triangle

Glassboro -- This is Lewis B, "I saw something for five minutes on Monday June 20, 2011, about 7:45 pm. I was at work as the sun was about to set under the large awning of the store I work at. I noticed first a "glare" in the sky ... from the angle I saw it, it could have been between anywhere from southwest Philadelphia to maybe West Deptford, NJ. At first the setting sun was gleaming off it, I went out to look they were in a triangular form ... it was significant in size for the area ... they were dull in color ... but VERY visible ... Three dark grey to silver, circular, "balls" ... just sitting in front of the grey cloud ... in the form of a perfect triangle ... I couldn't see if there was mass in between the shapes ... but it was definitely there ... by the time I got to my car to take pictures, it was down to one again and was gone before I could get the camera on ... as the grayish balls disappeared, so did the cloud cover ... I thought it was very odd. The time between the first glare and it completely disappearing was about four minutes. Did anyone else see or report this? Thanks to Lou Beaver

Twin Rivers -- It's 12:46 am, on June 22, 2011, my name is Pete Hilker, and I just saw the most gigantic thing in the sky I have ever seen. I was driving home from Route 33 in Twin Rivers and I started seeing a light through the trees that I thought was the moon because of its size. As I got closer and to a treeless section, I saw this gigantic object that was four lights across. I really couldn't make out the shape but it was huge. It had two lights in front that were lighting the front of it. I was terrified; I had an ominous feeling, that there was a car behind me. I just saw it like thirty minutes ago I didn't snap a picture because of my fear and raced to my house. I opened my garage door with the clicker to see the craft pass right over the top of my house. I saw the bottom of the craft had a red blinking light. I couldn't see the shape, but it was flat and had four lights in a line. Like o O O o and the O were like the bright headlight type lights. East Windsor -- On June 22, 2011, I'll start by saying I was coming from the Shell Gas Station on Route 33 in Twin Rivers, and started driving for my road. I can see the moon light through the trees in the eastern skies. I was listening to the ESPN radio and in an open area I can see it. It was gigantic. It was at the height of when you see a low flying plane. It was four lights across in a row about the size of half a football field. The two in the middle were very bright almost like it's headlights but the light was very diffused.

The craft was going NW and moving incredibly slow. I really couldn't tell its shape, because the lights were like so bright. They were very close bright headlights and I couldn't make out the object behind them. I have never seen an airplane creep along in the sky so slow and so damn huge. It seems like a cruise liner in the sky. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Mexico Photo Analysis

AlbuquerquE --Don Burleson, State Director New Mexico writes, "Hi, George-- Attached is an enhancement I did (just some cropping and re-contrasting) on a photo submitted recently, taken of a sunset in Albuquerque, (witness name Bill Hawley, not asking anonymity) and showing what seems to be an object in the upper glow of the sun, not noticed by the photographer at the time. There appears to be the same sort of "aura" around the object as around the setting sun itself, which seems more likely for a solid object than for, say, a tuft of cloud. New York Silver Egg Boomerang

NEW YORK CITY -- I was walking home from Soho on June 26, 2011, and saw a silver egg shaped object while traversing Bowery Street. I pointed it out to my friend and it changed colors and went behind a building. We stopped and waited for it to fly past the building and when it emerged it was a black boomerang shape approximately 1cm in length to the naked eye from where we were standing. Two elderly men also saw the UFO and we were staring at it for about five minutes. It just stayed in the sky at the same spot so it couldn't have been a weather balloon, then it slowly changed back into a cigar shape and then into a small egg shape. It was still for another five minutes, we began walking back downtown and never took our eyes off it, but then it started getting smaller and smaller. Then there was an airplane that flew past, but when the airplane got close the UFO just disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

North Dakota Tear Drop

I was driving from Fargo to Bismarck, and around the western edge of Stutsman County I saw something egg or tear dropped shaped going straight down. It came from the very top of my windshield and disappeared into some clouds so was only visible for a few minutes, but more than enough time to see that it was something I have never seen before. I was on the phone with a friend while this was happening and they suggested taking a picture, but because it was so small and white looking compared to the blue of the sky, I figured my phone camera wouldn't work. My windshield also had bug splatters, but what I saw was definitely not bug debris. It was white in appearance, like what you see when a jet goes overhead, though this was much larger. Ohio Object Engulfed in Light

Cleveland -- I live near Hopkins Airport and see planes take off and land from my chair. At around 9:30 PM, on June 24, 2011, I noticed a bright light heading my way from south to north. It moved in a straight line until it reached the southwest end of the airport, then went northeast over the airport. I watched it until it was just a dot. At first I thought it was a plane until it got closer and looked at it clear as day to be engulfed in light, or ablaze. It looked as though it was checking out the airport. After getting up to look at this thing, I didn't know what think about what I just saw. About ten minutes later, here it comes again, from the same direction and flight path, except this time there happened to be a plane just taking off from CLE. The pilot had to have seen this. The object then followed the same flight path as the first time. That evening there was a lower cloud deck. It also seemed the object was flying just under that cloud deck. Oregon Odd Cloud

Albany -- On June 21, 2011, at 2:26 PM, my friend's wife called him east of I-5 on Highway 20. She told my friend to check out the odd cloud formations just to the south. At 2:26 PM he took this picture with his cell phone. It is interesting to see the apparent discoloration and turbulence in the cloud near the object.

Note: It is difficult to do much analysis on the photo because the cell phone photos are of low resolution. However, zooming in reveals a circular object, not a bird but I don't know what they would be? The "RAINBOW" effect is most likely to be a reflection of sunlight in primary wavelengths. Tennessee Triangle of Lights

MEMPHIS -- It was about twelve midnight, on June 23, 2011, I was driving east, when I noticed two bright lights in the distance off to the North. They appeared as though they were stationary, so I thought they must be helicopters or possibly stars. I didn't think anything of it at first, but I noticed one of the lights was slowly getting closer. As it gradually came nearer I noticed it was a cluster of lights. The object appeared to have three distinct lights on three corners of the vehicle. It appeared to have red lights and faint pulsating dim lights on the underbelly. I wanted to believe it was an airplane, but it moved like no other vehicle I have seen before. The object appeared to be extremely low for an airplane, and it was completely silent.

Washington Sightings

Chehalis -- On December 31, 2010, at 11:55, three adults, two children and I were outside getting ready to light fireworks and we all saw the objects hovering for about two minutes. They took off one by one towards the southwest. I apologize about the picture. It was taken with a cell phone.

Marysville -- Weather conditions were low overcast with cloud heights varying between 300 and 900 feet on June 18, 2011, about10:15 PM. Winds were light and variable and visibility was 8 miles and. The witness reports seeing a huge Mothership flying low joined by smaller UFOs.

The witness's observation that the dark object (Mother Ship) was the size of aircraft carrier is probably accurate considering how close he was to the object. This is the first report that our organization has ever received of UFOs that later joined a larger object. Many of these type of sightings occurred in the 1940s and 50s. Kimberley -- My name is Sandra Hill and I live in Western Australia and took this picture from the cabin window of the Kimberley Quest 2 early morning on June 6, 2011, when we were cruising along the Kimberley coast of Western Australia. Going through my photos on Iphoto, I thought it was odd that six pictures had this weird cloud formation that seemed to just dissipate.

Then something in the clouds to the left of the centre caught my eye... There's no denying what that is!! It's behind the clouds and it's there. The cabin lights were off and the camera was up flush with the window to be able to get the shot in. A long time professional art photographer said it was not a reflection and that the water drop stains on the window confirms that the lens of the camera had to be very close to the window pane to be able to see them on the shot which means that it was too close and the outside light too strong to be able to capture any reflection from the interior of the cabin. There is something there.

Vancouver, BC -- My digital camera indicates the image was taken September 14, 2010, at 5:56 PM. It is not the first time I have seen odd unidentified objects in BC, but this is the first time I just happen to be shooting pictures and a shiny object caught my eye in the camera and was able to take pictures.

Note: The witness sent multiple photos. Several of the photos show the object highlighted. The date and time listed would only be correct if the date and time were correctly set on the camera. Ireland Zipping White Light

Bray, Wicklow -- Ian states, "I stepped outside to the back garden for a cigarette at about 11:30 PM, on June 23, 2011. From the south I spotted a brilliant white light zipping across the sky at a remarkable pace. I have never seen a plane in the far off distance cover this much ground so quickly. I managed to view it for a few seconds through my binoculars it seemed to be almost bullet like in shape. It vanished after about 1 minute as it had gone so high up into the sky it was literally impossible to see anymore. About thirty seconds after I had lost sight of this I spotted another object coming from the south over some houses and it then arced off towards the west. This one wasn't moving very quickly, just slowly across the sky with an altitude that never seemed to change. We saw the objects two nights in a row. On June 22, I also spotted a brilliant white object flying east a couple of hundred feet from the ground. The ISS would have been possibly in view much earlier. Thanks to www.uk-ufo.co.uk

Russia Alien Invasion Alleged

Alexandra Bruce comments that there claims that there are rumors that Russia is preparing to surprise the whole world with the announcement of an "alien invasion."

Some Russian commentators say that this could be a UFO that crashed near the Siberian town of Irkutsk. Others say it's a hoax. There's a lot disinformation on the Internet coming out of Russia. I don't know what to make of this footage but it is definitely an interesting shot! Uploaded by FlorykT

UK/England Stealth Bomber

Sutton Coldfield Paul writes, "During the warm weather we had in April 1, 2011
3.30 PM, I was in my garden when I happened to look up and saw a fast moving jet black object. I can only describe it has looking like a small version of a stealth bomber. Hornchurch, Upminster Bridge -- On June 22, 2011, a huge white light came over our house heading northeast at 11 PM. When it was above me at least seven red flashing objects appeared and were triangle shaped with a white light in each corner. They were under the cloud and made no noise moving very fast. These objects were so fast I'm pretty sure it's not a plane. It was moving at very tight angles. The big white light faded to nothing but the others were around for a few hours. LONDON -- A video taken June 24, 2011 of a UFO that buzzed London.

Posted to clip-sharing service YouTube by user alymc01', the video reveals a number of unidentified objects whizzing through the clouds high above the home of BBC Radio 1 on a beautiful June day.

The cameraman claims, "It—took over a week to get it but finally managed to get these critters on camera on a clear day, and even get a close-up, the video's accompanying explanation outlines. "It seems to be attracting quite a crowd now when they appear.

Whitefield Manchester -- I was walking my dog with my three year old son in the local park on May 31, 2011, on a very clear warm sunny evening with a few clouds and blue sky. I sat down on the grass with my son and took some photos with my Blackberry. I didn't notice anything in the sky and heard no sound but looking at the pictures I noticed a strange object and upon zooming in on the pic i noticed the strange cloud formation like a triangle and an arrow shape. This is a genuine picture taken on my cell phone that I cannot explain. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Generally, “photographs” that accompany said reports that have been reproduced from microfilm, as one might imagine–are not the best in quality; accordingly, this one was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, and with great perplexity, there was "no accompanying report." I thought perhaps it got separated; however in doing a thorough database search, I came up empty. This morning, I searched alternate databases and still nothing. The only attribution was a preceding page and it read: File 11683 4-16-1967 Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico 1 Photo It can “only be speculation,” since we have only the photograph to go by; however, it would appear that it was an airborne shot, presumably taken from a plane. One has to wonder if the shot was taken by military personnel–given the Ramey AFB provenance. Because the pic was so pristine, it evoked the memory of another like photo, this one taken over Roswell, New Mexico shortly before the Lonnie Zamora sighting (also from the BB Files). Folks, Read All About It [In MIJI]!

http://thebiggeststudy.blogspot.com/2009/09/air-force-admits-again-that-ufos-are.html The Air Force Admits Again That UFOs Are Real and Nobody's Listening Admittedly it takes a lot of "listening" in the right places, but the military has regularly placed into their formal documents the admission that it knows perfectly well that the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects is real. This instance, however, is spectacular on both the level of the phenomenon observed and on the level of the clarity of the admissions. -------------------------------------------------------The incident took place over Tehran, Iran on September 19, 1976. This was seven years after the close of the UFO project, Blue Book, and the alleged ending of any interest in the UFO topic by the military. That evening, several citizens had called the local airport to report unusual lights in the sky. The supervisor ultimately went out and saw the object himself. [All this which will be reported here is, by the way, directly from documents released by the Defense Intelligence Agency in agreement with the National Security Agency (NSA) ]. After watching the "rectangular" object [with a small red light seemingly circling around it] for an hour, he finally decided to call the nearby airbase. The Commanding Officer of the Iranian Air Force Command sent up an F-4 Phantom jet. The pilot spotted the bogey easily and set to intercept. Once he was within 29 miles, his instrumentation [including communications] cut out.He abandoned the mission and headed back to base. The CO sent up another jet. There was again immediate visual perception and a radar lock-on. The object was judged to be the size of a Boeing tanker aircraft. It was extremely brilliant with colors flashing blue, green, orange, red in rapid sequence. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------Then the thing did something that the pilot evaluated as hostile. It "emitted" a small red object which flew directly at the F-4. The pilot began to arm and fire at the "missile". At that moment his whole control panel and his communications died. He initiated a violent evasive turn and flew off. The small object returned to the big cylinder, which then emitted another, which flew downward and seemed to land. The F-4 regained instrument function once it had gotten a certain distance away from the big object. The pilot watched the action from a safe distance before returning to base. What he saw he interpreted as a set of light signals which seemed coordinated between the the landed object and the big cylinder. During daylight hours an inspection of the area of the possible landing showed no ground traces. -----------------------------------------------This report leaked through Iranian Air Force sources, or we'd probably never have gotten it. Once "out" however, the retrieval of documents by FOIA or other requests [for instance through Congressmen] gets a little more likely. Ultimately the DIA/NSA decided to release the documents which confirmed everything. In those documents were phrases like "outstanding report", "case is a classic", "meets all the criteria for a valid study of the UFO phenomenon"...I kid you not. The document on the right was an added surprise. The NSA had given the case reports to one of their operatives [also an Air Force officer] to include in the classified "Secret" intelligence magazine, MIJI Quarterly. They apparently had decided that cases like this needed to be known by operatives in the field who were charged with dealing with problems of "electronic countermeasures" such as jamming, signal confusion, instrument interference, etc. Captain Shields tells the whole tale. But what is of greater interest is the casual admission written just below the title: "Sometime in his career, each pilot can expect to encounter strange, unusual happenings which will never be adequately or entirely explained by logic or subsequent investigation. The following article recounts just such an episode as reported by two F-4 Phantom crews of the Imperial Iranian Air Force during late 1976. No additional information or explanation of the strange events has been forthcoming: the story will probably be filed away and probably forgotten, but it makes interesting, and possibly disturbing, reading." Well, don't say we UFOlogists didn't tell you so. "Each pilot" can expect something like this sooner or later. But we'll just file it away and forget it, because, well, what else can we do? The intelligence community STILL believes that the citizenry "can't handle the Truth". How about you? http://www.brumac.8k.com/BennettBookReview/BennettBookReview.htm REVIEW OF REVIEW OF FLYING SAUCERS OVER THE WHITE HOUSE The Inside Story of Captain Edward J Ruppelt and His Official U.S. Air Force Investigation of UFOs  By Colin Bennett Cosimo Books 2010  Colin Bennett’s new book is a worthy addition to the burgeoning literature about UFOs. It is particularly welcome at the present time because it covers a portion of UFO history that many people who are newly interested in the subject are not familiar with. Indeed, if one looks superficially at the mass of presently available literature one might get the impression that the history of the subject consists of a few sightings and the Roswell crash (of something!) and moved immediately into abduction phenomenon. Bennett’s book shows that there was a lot more going on and helps to fill in the gap between Roswell and abduction reports.  Besides presenting a discourse on what might be called the philosophy of and problems with investigation of the paranormal, with an emphasis on UFOs, the book presents the history of one man’s introduction to and immersion in the schizophrenic, even chaotic, approach the Air Force took to the problem of “flying saucer” sightings. The Air Force was handed this sighting problem soon after pilot Kenneth Arnold saw and reported disclike objects flying past Mt. Rainier at much more than the speed of sound. Arnold’s report was widely publicized as were a number or other similar reports in late June and early July, 1947. The Air Force denied responsibility, not only to the general public through the newspapers but also to the FBI in private communications. Air Force Intelligence investigated as reports continued to be made during the summer of 1947 and at the end of the year the Air Force set up an investigation effort, “Project Sign,’ to find the cause of these reports. Project Sign lasted about a year and was replaced with Project Grudge. During this time Air Force Intelligence analysts discovered that there were sightings they could not explain so they essentially “covered up” these sightings with the mass of other sightings that they thought they could explain. For example, for public consumption they might say they could explain 90% of the sightings, therefore it is probable that with a little more information they could explain them all.  By the time Ruppelt became involved, in 1951, the public policy of the AF toward such sightings was that no AF flying device was responsible for sightings, that all sightings were probably explainable as misidentifications of known objects or phenomena, hoaxes of delusions and that they were not a threat to the United State. It is no wonder, then, that when Ruppelt was introduced to the subject, in early 1951, soon after he was stationed at Wright Field (later Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio), at the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC), he was surprised to learn that at least some of the men at ATIC did not believe that all cases could be explained. Some of these intelligence analysts, while seemingly happy to treat sightings with disinterest and willing to poke fun at saucer reports during general multi-person discussions, actually treated the reports seriously in private conversations with Ruppelt. This “schizophrenic” situation was a result of the “higher ups” who were anti-saucer and thus one did not advance one’s career by being pro-saucer.  Bennett discusses how Ruppelt must have felt when confronted by this contradictory behavior of his compatriots in ATIC. Then he became more than just a casual observer in the late fall of 1951 when he was appointed to run the investigations project known then as Project Grudge. This came about after a meeting of the ATIC staff with their boss, General Charles Cabell, in early October, 1951. This meeting was convened by the general because of sightings that occurred during the 10th and 11th of September that involved radar tracking by personnel of the Fort Monmouth Army Radar School in New Jersey as well as visual sightings by Air Force pilots. The general was irked by the fact that he was not immediately informed by the Grudge staff about these important sightings. Instead, he learned about these important sightings from a newspaper story about two weeks after they occurred. As soon as he learned of them he ordered the Grudge staff to report to him the results of their analysis. Cabell had been told that Grudge was working smoothly to analyze and, if possible, to explain all sightings so, naturally, he expected that Grudge staff could tell him about the details of the sighting and the nature of what had been tracked on radar and seen by pilots. Instead, during the meeting he was told that Grudge was a mess and sightings were being treated like comedian Rodney Dangerfield who became famous for complaining “I get no respect.” This angered Cabell greatly and he complained that he had been “lied to” by the underlings who had told him that all sightings were being treated seriously. Cabell complained that the so-called “Grudge Report” published in late 1949 was a piece of “worthless tripe,” meaning that he could see through the poor reasoning and verbal obfuscation that make up that report. Cabell ordered the Grudge staff to revitalize the project because he wanted an answer, “a good answer” to the UFO mystery.  Bennett points out that this was probably a futile hope by Cabell. ATIC was set up to study foreign technology that would represent the state of the art in known science and technology, not to investigate something so far removed from presently known physics as to appear as “magic” (a la Arthur C. Clark). Thus the probable reason the sightings were treated so poorly was that, when you get to the bottom of it, “no one knew exactly what he or she was looking for in the first place.” In other words, whereas a competent scientist or research group might be able to make some sense out of this seemingly nonsensical, “liminal” phenomenon of flying saucer/UFO sightings, “the insular collective brain of the Air Force did not have the intellectual capacity to analyze the UFO situation.” General Cabell left his mark on UFO history by appointing the lead character in this play on science known as ufology by naming Ruppelt to replace a retiring staff member and thereby revitalize Project Grudge. The Cabell bowed out some weeks later as General John Samford became Director of Air Force Intelligence. This may have been a smart move on Cabell’s part, considering what was to come. Had he known what was coming he could have departed the UFO scene while uttering the famous phrase of Louis Quinze (Louis XV) of France, “Apres moi, le deluge” (after me, the deluge), because a few months later a flood of sightings would begin, which would reach a level which had not been seen before or since.  But before this flood began Ruppelt had about 6 months of “grace period” to upgrade the UFO investigation. He increased the staff size and hired experts in various fields as well as the Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio, to help analyze the sightings and evaluate the credibility of the people who made sighting reports. He required that sightings be treated seriously and that the staff members provide “unbiased evaluations” of reports., which meant providing reasonable explanations if possible and admitting the failure to explain if there appeared to be no reasonable explanation. Ruppelt began a process of briefing various Air Force technical advisors and others about the activities of the project and at the same time receiving recommendations for improvement in the nature of the sighting evidence. He was given good support in his efforts to turn the project, under its new name, Blue Book, into a real research and analysis effort. Ruppelt accepted the recommendations to try to get “accurate measurements of the speed, altitude and size of reported UFOs” because, as Bennett points out, “once some part of the UFO could be got into the objective Cartesian frame, the project would be getting somewhere.” However, because of its “now you see it, now you don’t” sort of non-repeatability it was difficult to obtain valid data on these “liminal” phenomena,  Bennett cites a number of cases in his book, among the most important of which are the sightings by the men who launched high altitude balloons (General Mills balloon project personnel). Bennett writes, “The experienced Mills crews, familiar with all kinds of sky lighting and atmospheric conditions, meteorology, aerodynamics and astronomy, said they saw so many UFOs they had long since ceased taking any notice of them.”  Another sighting that had a great impact on Ruppelt involved a fighter aircraft that chased a saucer until it “made a quite astonishing 180 degree turn, accelerated rapidly,” and left the aircraft behind. An attempt to explain the object as a balloon failed miserably and Ruppelt had to agree with the pilot’s own assessment that, “maybe it was a spaceship.”  These inexplicable sightings were, as Bennett says, a “massive blow to the ego.” We consider our culture to be advanced and yet we are faced with “the possibility (that we are) living alongside (as distinct from being invaded by) a culture whose nature is almost inconceivable.” As Bennett points out, the discovery that there is another culture “just as complex and multifarious as is (our) culture,” that is operating at a technical level above (way above?) our own could cause us to go into a “cultural shock” similar to that which happened to “the Australian aboriginals and the cargo worshippers of the Solomon Islands.” Bennett says that the strong possibility that this sort of culture shock would be detrimental to our society could be a justification for “skeptical blindness” to the sightings themselves and for “militant skepticism” as a means for maintaining control of our own society.  Bennett’s book recites the history of Project Blue Book as portrayed by Ruppelt with the climax occurring in late July, 1952, during the press conference of General John Samford. The buildup to that conference is “vintage ufology” as Bennett describes the interplay between the investigators and the analysts and the media people and, of course, the UFOs themselves. The period of time from January 1952 through August of that year should be studied by everyone seriously interested in coming to grips with this phenomenon. It long has been this reviewer’s opinion that if we really knew what happened during this period of time we would know much or maybe most of what is to be learned about the UFO phenomenon (barring abductions, which weren’t a recognized part of the phenomenon for at least another decade). It is to his credit, therefore that Bennett has devoted roughly half of his book to this period of time. I just wish that he had written a few pages more on the pre-Ruppelt days of Projects Sign and Grudge because the reader who is not familiar with the early history might think that little of import happened before Ruppelt took over the investigation.  As one example, Bennett did not mention the early involvement of the FBI, and involvement that became important for demonstrating the existence of a “cover up” that occurred on the day of Samford’s press conference. On that day General Samford, the voice of Air Force Intelligence, told the assembled media representatives that there was no evidence of a threat to the United States and that, as far as he was concerned, all the unexplained sightings, including those in the Washington, D.C. area (which led to the title of the book), resulted from weather phenomena. So, where is the cover up? Here it is: on that same day an FBI agent was told by one of the Air Force intelligence staff at the Pentagon, i.e., one of Samford’s employees, that roughly 2% of the sightings could not be explained and that “it was not entirely impossible that the objects sighted may possibly be ships from another planet such as Mars.” (quote from an FBI document dated July 29, 1952) It seems clear to this reviewer that if Samford had said that at the press conference he would have “blown the lid off” the cover up and the history of the UFO subject since then would have been different.  I was also somewhat disappointed to see that Bennett did not present the full impact of the several months leading up to the press conference. He does point out that by the middle of July ATIC was swamped with reports from the USA and around the world and was preparing for “an expected invasion of flying saucers.” However, he could have made this revelation even more astounding by “committing statistics” and also by citing some of the headlines in major newspapers. This portion of the “Year of the UFO” was truly amazing. It was equally amazing that, after it was over, thanks to “nothing there” Samford and the “ha ha” boys in the newsmedia (“flying saucers are hot air”), the events were quickly forgotten or at least pushed to the background of unimportant events in history. (Does anyone know of a conventional history book that mentions the “saucer craze” in 1952?) So, as a supplement to what Bennett has written about 1952, here are the numbers of sighted objects recorded by Project Blue Book by month which will give the reader an overview of this “saucer craze” : Jan. – 15, Feb. – 17, Mar. – 23, Apr. – 82, May – 79, June – 148, July – 536, Aug. – 326, Sep. – 124, Oct. – 61, Nov. – 50, Dec. – 42. Of these roughly 20% were considered to be unexplained. (Statistics from Blue Book Special Report #14 by the Battelle Memorial Institute.) In an Appendix Bennett summarizes the three chapters that Ruppelt added to the second edition (19 59) of his 1956 book. He points out that, although this is generally perceived as a radical change in attitude, being more negative than the first edition, the change is not really as much as one might think. To understand why, one should read this book.  Amusing aside: I knew that Colin Bennett has experience in electronic and other technologies so I was not surprised to see various erudite discussions of electronic devices. However, I was mildly “shocked” to see a reference to something I hadn’t thought about in many years. According to Bennett, the MIG 15 avionics package included “acorn-sized” “Gnom” type vacuum tubes. This brought to mind my own experience, about 50 years ago, with what are called “acorn tubes,” which were developed in the middle 1930’s for use in high frequency electronics and avionics. Special Reports Argentina Air Force UFO Commission Includes Ufologists Antonio Huneeus writes, "Besides the creation of a new air force UFO commission, which is important news by itself, I think the most relevant point here is that the Argentinean Air Force requested the assistance of the local UFO community and appointed five prominent ufologists as external members of the commission. So in Argentina we have a new situation where the government and the ufologists are working together to solve a mystery instead of fighting each other. NGC 5128. NASA and the European Space Agency released today a stunning image of NGC 5128. It shows dark clouds of dust and gas flecked by pink star-forming nebulae, all imaged in visible, ultraviolet, and near-infrared light. According to NASA, it looks like "looming rain clouds on a stormy day". But these clouds are thousands of light years across. Note: A couple billion planets in the galaxy. China Wants To Construct a 50 Square Mile City South of Boise, Idaho Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power and is buying up assets worldwide. They have decided to buy up pieces of the U S and set up "special economic zones in many states. Just south of Boise, and the Idaho government is eager to give land to the China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach). They plan to construct a "technology zone" south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. It would include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail centers and large numbers of homes for Chinese workers. If the Chinese have their way, we will soon be seeing these "special economic zones" pop up all over the United States. According to Dr. Jerome Corsi, the U.S. government has already set up 257 "foreign trade zones" across America. In 2010, China had a "current account balance" of over 272 billion dollars, which was the largest in the world. In 2010, the United States had a "current account balance" of negative 561 billion dollars to put us in last place in the entire world. Sightings of UFOs in United States Arkansas Pilots Spot Triangle Little Rock -- At 10:28 PM, June 15, 2011, I received a text from a reliable source that there were multiple sightings of UFO's being reported by pilots flying over Arkansas and Missouri. Apparently, commercial pilots were picking up radar returns where aircraft were not supposed to be, but ATC radar wasn't picking them up. Several pilots were getting visuals of the crafts as well. An AWAC was in the area and they were able to get radar returns. The multiple UFO's were flying at an altitude of 35,000 feet. Pilots were reporting, "The UFO's were able to hover and reverse heading without turning the crafts. I went outside to see if there was anything in my line of sight. There was an aircraft approaching from the west moving to the ENE. There were three amber lights, one on each point of the triangular aircraft with a solid red light on the belly of the craft. This craft was out of my line of sight after three minutes. A few minutes later on the eastern sky there were two aircrafts moving to the south...while I was watching one of them "disappeared", which I am guessing it went lights out. It appeared shortly thereafter either closer to me or much higher in altitude. It hovered and reversed heading to the north, just as being reported by pilots. Then they were out of my line of sight...as clouds moved in. I was excited to see the aircraft which I believe are the Boeing TR-3B, from their Phantom Works project. California Triangle East Los Angeles -- I saw weird orange lights in the sky that slowly disappeared on June 12, 2011. The witness states, "This is the real photo that I took on my I phone at 9:30 PM. My brother had just pulled in the drive way and I realized there was eight orange glowing lights in the sky. He told me to look as they faded away one by one. Note: It appears that this photo has been edited. It is not known if it is a real photo or a graphic recreation on a photo background. Questions have been posed to the witness. These is a possibility the lights could be Chinese Lanterns but there is no direct evidence. The photo was taken with a HTC PC36100 Cell Phone, Thanks to William Puckett Director UFOs Northwest http://ufosnw.com SAN DIEGO -- On June 17, 2011, Took picture of airplane over downtown San Diego and noticed 2 disks in photo. May or may not be a reflection but was interesting. Thanks to MUFON CMS Elk Grove -- I saw a black silent bat-ray shaped object in daylight hours on June3, 2011. At 6:10 PM, I stepped outside to smoke and saw an object moving in circles at first then suddenly flew west, and then came to a complete stop. It then changed direction and sped back East and came to another complete stop. It hovered there this time at a lower altitude and made no sound. I could clearly make its shape to be round in the front with two arcs on the rear of the craft which was black in color. It hovered for about thirty seconds before taking off west at high speed toward gaining altitude before disappearing behind clouds. A few minutes later it came back performing similar maneuvers before disappearing. I ran to grab my camera because I noticed these things flying in an odd formation and leaving a contrail, but not some sort of chemtrail. I never really looked at the film until now. You can clearly see an orb materialize in the middle of the screen at 00:00:04 and start to spiral vertically at 00:00:05. A second orb is seen on the left side of the screen moving at a linear path to the right of the screen. At 00:00:06 an orb vanishes before it leaves the right of the screen. A few milliseconds later the vertical one disappears at 00:00:07 and camera starts to blur out and the bright one on the bottom vanishes? I get images everyday now in IR mode and Sony says it's not possible on that camera Sony DSC-W370. Thanks to MUFON CMS Gwinnett Co -- I was coming home after work, headed down Hightower Trail into Centerville and noticed two stars and realized it was awfully early to start seeing stars. We had thunderstorms that evening and the front was just pushing through so the sky was beginning to clear. The "stars" were in or in front of the thunder clouds. I noticed there were actually four "stars" forming a gentle arc. I quickly picked up my camera and snapped a picture of the objects. The lights were white stationary points of light, exactly what a star in the night sky looks like. My camera info shows I snapped the picture about 8:18 pm but my clock in the car read 7:45 PM. I watched the objects for about five minutes and by the time I reached the top of the next hill, the objects were gone. In that time, the "stars" never moved or blinked, not did they change position at all. Thanks to MUFON CMS Florida Red Round Light Davie -- On June 16, 2011, a sighting lasted for over two hours between 6:30 PM to 11 PM. The objects looked like parachutes, but they were not. They were shaped like a pretzel. You could see the sky during the entire time. This was not a hot air balloon. There were no people on it or in it. The objects just kept flying from the east towards us in the west and then north. They just kept coming and coming like 3 or 4 at a time. The camera is a Canon Powershot sd1200is digital ELPH. The weirdest thing is that the objects kept coming even after dark and they didn't have lights but they were white so you could still see them flying thru the clouds. I saw them still coming until about 11 PM Note: The photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD1200IS Digital Camera. This camera has a maximum resolution of 10 million pixels. (The photos were taken with camera setting of a lower resolution of 800 by 600 pixels.) I have no explanation for these objects. Anyone with information about these objects or may have seen them is urged to file a report. Sarasota -- I saw a UFO in the sky over Sarasota, Florida. At 10 PM June 12, 2011, while taking garbage to the street I looked up and saw a red round light. At first I thought it was a helicopter with laser on it. I watched for 5 minute. It moved east, then stood still and then moved north. Moloaa , Kauai -- On June 15, 2011, the witness called and reported his sighting the morning after it occurred. He and his family saw orange red lights moving from a northeasterly direction from the ocean at 9 PM. The lights persisted for several minutes. No sound was heard. The video was taken with a Droid X cell phone. I looked up facing the south already and seen the same object I viewed on May 20th. It was just hovering above the graveyard at the end of our street. I came in the house for camera and a witness. We stood there and watched it a few minutes and it took off to the southeast very slow moving. The white background lighted the object but I couldn't tell the shape of it. It had solid red lights all around it as it picked up altitude. I chalked it up to another UFO sighting out here in the country. Standing in front of my house I was looking in the SW direction when I saw a ball of light moving across the sky at a high rate of speed I immediately moved to see where it was going since it was moving so fast NE as it moved across the sky it seemed to stop move in reverse the move forward again leaving a stream of white light and then disappearing immediately after about 30 seconds an airplane comes into view followed by two more they were in a triangular formation moving e to w the airplanes did not make any noticeable engine noise. Thanks to MUFON CMS CHICAGO -- I was walking north on Clark Street with four of my friends at about 2 am after leaving a bar when I noticed a bright orange light traveling across the sky on June 18, 2011. It was flying low and was extremely fast and larger than anything I've seen before. We knew immediately it wasn't a plane because we could see two other planes flying in the sky and they were much higher and farther away in the sky. The planes were more yellow or white and were moving much slower relative to the orange light. It wasn't a helicopter or plane and was literally a round very bright orange light moving forward very fast. One of my friends even described it as looking like a planet moving fast across the sky. We were watching for about 45 seconds as it flew very rapidly across the sky in a straight line, then the orange light dimmed, and completely disappeared. Raritan River -- We were driving down the NJ Turnpike and we were between exits 9 and 10. It was exactly 10 Pm at night because I checked. My Mom, who was driving, told me to look ahead at the bright "moon". Turns out it wasn't a moon but a very weird object in the sky. At first we thought it was a blimp that was flying but after we kept looking, it looked very weird. To both of us it seemed as if it were triangular or pyramid like in appearance. Also of importance was a blinking red light it had on the bottom. It would blink about every six seconds. The craft was moving slowly to the right. After about two minutes, we lost sight of it but thirty seconds later, we saw it again by the Raritan River. I took a video while this was happening. It seemed to turning away from the turnpike and we eventually passed it and couldn't see it anymore. Thanks to MUFON CMS New York Father and Daughter Abduction Experience KINGS PARK -- In the mid-1970's I was riding my mother-in-law's bike and a very large disc shaped, silvery space ship hovered over me. I started riding around noon and suddenly five or six hours just vanished. It was getting dark...but I hadn't gone anywhere! But my sighting report is not so much about seeing this UFO...it is about my many encounters with extraterrestrial beings, mostly in my home. All together, there have been nine encounters and in the most memorable my daughter and I were coming home from a long day of work and school. She went directly to take her shower to get to bed quickly. I gathered up her things and walking to the living room suddenly three not human beings appeared before me. I was stunned and observed each was a different size and shape, but all had medium grey colored skin, longish arms, and fewer fingers than humans, a large head and prominent eyes. The first eye to the left was larger than the others... He looked directly at me, as I was a foot in from of him and could see him well. The one standing next to him was a bit smaller and the third was smaller yet, standing in the doorway of the bedroom. The larger one said telepathically to me: "We're sorry you saw us; we're leaving now"...The whole room became bathed in a glow of sparkly substance...they literally went up through the ceiling and disappeared. All the time they were with me I sensed they were benevolent...almost kind. It was an amazing experience I could never, ever forget. I told my daughter immediately as she wrapped her towel around her...I was concerned that she was OK. We stayed up a long while, hugging and wondering who they were....The next morning as we were in the kitchen, she asked me "What are those red dots on your arm, Mama?" I looked and saw them in a circle. I then checked to see if she had them and she did. I realized they had come to see her too! I have told a few select friends, and family. Since that night both my daughter and I have had further encounters with them. I am glad to report they never caused us any physical pain and every time seemed to express a concern for our well-being. I am more curious now than afraid. NOTE: The tall being seemed to have something on his head and all three had something high around the top of their torso. But I could clearly see their flesh was like a grey wrinkled dolphin. Their nose was just two holes and their mouths were all just slits...no lips. The third individual in the bedroom doorway was most unique in his facial structure from the other two...a very oversized head and very, very long fingers. NOTE: The above image is a rendering. At first I just assumed it was a plane because we have military and civilian aircraft fly over allot. We both looked up at the same time and saw a low flying object that appeared to be a distinct triangle shape. It had three bright lights on each corner of the triangle, as well as a blinking red light in the middle of the triangle. As it went over us and into the distance, I could see more lights straight across the back of the object which confirmed to me the triangle shape I was seeing. The object did not make allot of noise and its approach was almost completely silent. After about 20-25 seconds after we first saw the object, it vanished in an instant. Amazingly enough, taking a picture was the last thing on my mind. I was so drawn in and amazed at what we were seeing. I have never seen anything like it before. I was at the time in training as a professional pilot, and we were trained to gauge such things. My friend and I watched this craft for about 15 minutes. We could only see the lights of the craft arranged in a triangle, or rather an arrowhead or boomerang shape. The lights were revolving as the craft moved suggesting that it was rotating. This was a massive craft was 800 to 1000 feet across and slowly moved across the sky following deliberate vectors that may have drawn a definite pattern. It moved in a line then changed direction to instantly move along another line. There was no arc of turn that a man made aircraft would make, it was an unnatural abrupt change in direction, or vectoring. After it had traced these vectors across an area of sky at least a mile square, it then dropped lower, quite rapidly, to about 20,000 feet. It then retraced the exact pattern, but in almost lightening speed! The abrupt, instant changes in direction were the same but at such a speed that I have never seen before. The G forces on the craft would have turned a human to mush. Even more than this, it moved at such a speed, at almost instant acceleration. There is nothing man has made then or since that can make those maneuvers, in either manned or unmanned aircraft. It descended for about 20 seconds, disappeared for about 5 seconds and then reappeared for another 5 seconds on February 24, 2011, at 3:30 AM. Then it was gone. During a June 5th, 2011, the volcano began to send massive plumes of smoke up into the atmosphere as thunderous lava spat out. During the awesome display, someone managed to capture what they believe to be a UFO near the erupting volcano. The website ElTiempo.com has the photos and link to a YouTube video that shows the location and close up photo of the strange object seen by many hovering about as the thick plume grows. Although the photograph is interesting to say the least, like many UFO photos, this one too, is inconclusive. According to ElTiempo.com, many locals did see strange light and objects around the volcano as it began to erupt. Chile has had a lot of UFO sighting in the past few years, so no doubt that this image is something strange. Could it be something from out of this planet? We took pictures on August 18, 2008, and later when we looked at them in the computer we saw the ovni. None of us saw the flying object at the time of the photograph. According to data provided this sighting was recorded at 5 PM north of Mexico City, the Towers of Satellite. The UFO was moving against the wind, this would preclude that it were a balloon, it is also important to note that has extensive experience in observing the sky and therefore knows this is a known flying machine. This UFO flew toward the Toluca Airport, thus losing sight of, but not before achieving a sequence of five photographs of the unknown object perfectly clear. The aviation technician could identify the aircraft we see in the image, which is an Embraer Aircraft. I got my camera for the June 15, 2011 eclipse with an inner expectation that would see an UFO. Walking at the sea-side for my turn back home and had the feeling just look up. My first notice was it was a UFO and I observed the light that acts in the UFO category. The light was like Fluorescent, no signal lamps, very slowly moving like skiing/sliding in the sky, no voice approximately over at my top. I just focused to record the video good; I feel very happiness which mixed some exited. It disappeared slowly go out of my visual area. UK/England London -- Harry St Louis was on his way home in the Greenway on the night of June 8 when he saw the large, bright light. At first he thought it was a firework but quickly discounted the theory as it continued to weave across the sky. Harry, 19, who lives in Memorial Avenue, Stratford, then recorded the object's movements on his phone and put the resulting video on YouTube, where unsurprisingly, it has scored thousands of hits, including one from the occupant of a Stratford flat who also witnessed the sight. He told the Recorder: "It was silent but considering it was so far away it was quite big. I must have been watching it for 30-40 seconds then I got my phone and recorded it for about 26 seconds. Then the flame disappeared and there were just these two dots with one coming in from the right hand side and then they went off at about 45 degrees. Today was the first day of a bi-yearly festival so I thought it was a couple of fireworks going off that should have finished at 11 PM. The first thing that struck me was the silence as these lights were silent and not making the firework sounds. As I kept watching I noticed they were not airplanes since they were moving far too fast and were far too bright. They covered the night sky in about 30 seconds. Both objects where flying fast and high, one of them sped up as to catch up with the other. After seeing them fly flawlessly straight for two minutes, the one catching up seemed to turn and then both of them sped up faster and disappeared within the blink of an eye. The only way I can describe them where two very fast bright orange lights, but not as high up. I ran inside and picked up my digital camera which took about 20 seconds. UFO’S BESTAAN ECHT! Of je nu een believer bent die gelooft in ufo’s of een scepticus, die niets van dit verschijnsel ernstig neemt; de gepensioneerde Amerikaanse kolonel John ALEXANDER komt nu naar buiten met een informatie, die beide kampen in hun voortdurende welles-nietes polemiek woedend kan maken. Meer dan 25 jaar spendeerde hij aan onderzoek binnen de topniveaus van de Amerikaanse regering en het leger op zoek naar ufo-informatie en gegevens over de vermoedelijke ufo-cover-up. Hij is een betrouwbare persoonlijkheid en zijn conclusies luiden: Er bestaat geen groepering, noch een cover-up, maar de openbaring van data over ufo’s gebeurde al op verschillende officiële niveaus. Hij beweert dus dat de informatie over ufo’s al openbaar gemaakt werd door de officiële instanties, maar dat de reële oplossingen complexer is dan vele mensen denken. Volgens hem dienen de believers niet langer te eisen om gegevens vrij te pleiten, want de waarheid werd al veel vroeger verteld Zo spreekt hij over president  Harry Truman die in 1950 vertelde: Ik kan u verzekeren dat als vliegende schotels bestaan, ze niet gemaakt zijn door enige aardse macht.” Ook de Amerikaanse presidenten Carter en Reagan en de Sovjet-Russische president Gorbachov hebben verklaringen in die zin afgelegd. Volgens hem kent hij tientallen generaals, zowel Amerikaanse als Sovet-Russische, die publiekelijk verklaarden dat ufo’s echt zijn. Hij begrijpt niet waarom de onderzoekers deze data negeren en vraagt zich gepast af hoeveel hooggeplaatste personaliteiten nog naar buiten dienen te komen en zeggen dat ufo’s echt bestaan vooraleer iedereen daar van overtuigd is Hij kwam in contact met informatie  voor die werd vrijgegeven werd en hij beweert met klem dat 98% van de informatie over het ufo-incident al bekend was voor de vrijgave. Enkel de bronnen en de gebruikte methodologie werden / worden geheimgehouden. Hij had het ook over Project Disclosure waar een aantal voormalige militairen kwamen spreken over hun ervaringen met ufo’s, die zich naar verluidt bemoeiden met de Amerikaanse atoomraketten. Volgens hem zouden de inlichtingendiensten geen onderzoek verricht hebben omdat het over éénmalige incidenten ging en ze er  daardoor geen direct gevaar in zagen. Hij gaat met zijn ervaringen in discussie met zowel de ware believers, die in elk vreemde waarneming of licht in de lucht een object van een andere planeet zien; als met de halsstarrige sceptici, die alle ufomeldingen ontkennen en al het bewijs afkraken. In zijn nieuw boek “Ufos : Myths, Conspiracies of Realities ( = Ufo’s: Mythes, Samenzweringen of Realiteiten) schrijft hij: “Ufo’s bestaan! Er trekken zonder meer fysieke objecten van onbekende oorsprong door ons universum. Je moet geen voorwaarden stellen of rond de pot draaien, het bewijs dat deze beweringen steunt is overweldigend.” Met dit bewijs bedoelt hij vooral de radar- en sensortechnologie, die regelmatig de echtheid van de fysieke objecten bevestigt en ook de hoge kwaliteit van uiterst geloofwaardige ooggetuigen. En het zijn zeker geen personen, die de feiten verkeerd weergeven of aan waanideeën lijden, zoals de sceptici beweren. Ondanks het feit  dat hij decennia lang intens onderzoek deed naar de realiteit van ufo’s, dient hij het antwoord op de vraag – wat is de herkomst deze onverklaarbare machines (als het werkelijk machines zijn, zoals wij deze term interpreteren)? – nog altijd schuldig te blijven. Volgens hem is het probleem ufo’s uiterst complex, want als je over ufo’s praat dan gaat dit vanaf kleine lichtbollen tot aan harde objecten van een km of meer breedte en alles daar tussen in! Hij vraagt zich nog steeds af wat ufo’s in feite zijn Hij zegt dat we niet alleen de problemen niet oplossen, maar ook niet eens de juiste vragen stellen, omdat we dit verschijnsel verkeerd benaderen. Volgens hem is ons bewustzijn een deel van de puzzel. Vele onderzoekers beweren immers dat Ufo’s de technologie hebben van een intelligentie, die 1000 jaar verder geëvolueerd zijn dan wij. Maar als je de geschiedenis van het fenomeen volgt, zijn ze volgens hem wel geavanceerder, maar liggen ze niet buiten ons bevattingsvermogen of onze verbeelding. Feit is dat ze soms vastgelegd worden door onze radars, en dan weer niet en daar weet hij geen afdoend antwoord op. In de vroegere jaren 80 creëerde deze kolonel achter de schermen  een regeringsufostudiegroep, Advanced Theoretical Physics (Vergevorderde Theoretische Fysica) of kortweg ATP genoemd. Deze groep bestond uit leden, afkomstig van het leger en uit wetenschappelijke en inlichtingengemeenschappen. Volgens hem was door het bestaan van ATP niemand in de regering verantwoordelijk voor de ufo-informatie. Hij verklaart dat zijn ATP-groep vele ufo-gevallen analyseerden en ze kwamen tot de volgende bevindingen: ·         Er was voldoende bewijs , ondersteund door data van hoge kwaliteit, om zeker te zijn dat sommige ufo-gevallen echte afwijkingen waren, en dus zeker niet het resultaat van slechte waarneming of misinterpretatie. ·         Er waren cases, waarbij militaire wapensystemen betrokken waren en dat vormde een reële en betekenisvolle bedreiging, die onderzocht diende te worden. ·         Veelvuldige sensorgegevens, zoals radarmetingen, ondersteunden de waarnemingen van fysieke objecten, die intelligente bewegingen uitvoerden, die ver voorbij de menselijke mogelijkheid lagen. ·         Tevens waren er gevallen, waarbij fysiek sporenbewijs gevonden was. ·         De studie van de ufo-data kan een potentiële sprong in onze technologie verschaffen. Volgens hem was de beruchte Roswell ufo-crash in 1947 in feite een top-secret militair project MOGUL in plaats van de crash van een vliegende schotel. Er ging dus wel iets fout met een prototype. Het was zeker geen weerballon zoals de luchtmacht eerst beweerde, maar een spionageballon om de Russishe activiteiten met kernexperimenten op te volgen...    Na vele jaren van intens onderzoek naar ufo’s is deze ex-kolonel Alexander ervan overtuigd, dat het ufofenomeen, ongeacht het oogpunt – militair of burgerlijk, veel complexer is dat alleen het idee dat onze planeet door buitenaardsen bezocht worden. Hij spreekt over een precognitief bewust fenomeen: het punt is dat als er daarbuiten iets is, dat het bewust is. Wat dat bewustzijn inhoudt, hoe het reageert of hoe wij reageren, blijft nog steeds een open vraag. De grote massa zit met tegenstrijdige gevoelens over ufo’s ondanks hun belangstelling voor het verschijnsel. De mensen geloven in het bestaan van ufo’s, maar dit fenomeen heeft geen impact op hun dagelijks leven. Militair gezien verklaart Alexander is het beste voor je carrière, dat als je met een afwijking of een probleem naar voren treedt, dat je ook een oplossing of alternatief aanbiedt. Maar voor ufo’s is dit actueel nog niet mogelijk. Over de uitspraken van ex-kolonel Alexander zal nog veel inkt vloeien, zowel bij de believers, als bij de sceptici. Volgens Georges Knapp, die een onderzoeksjournalist is en regelmatig te gast in het nachtelijk programma Coast to Coast Am van Georg Noory zal dit boek, zowel de fanatieke believers, als de fanatieke sceptici woedend maken. Ze zullen hem een rol toekennen als een MIB-achtige geheim agent, die de ufo-gemeenschap bespioneert. Ondanks de vele positieve zaken, die Alexander vermeldt, zal hij door vele ufo-onderzoekers vooral aangevallen worden over zijn uitspraken over het Roswellincident. Een aantal principes, waar je zeker bij je onderzoek naar UFO's dient rekening mee te houden...

Het raadselachtig UFO-verschijnsel is opmerkelijk, eigenaardig en volhardend, blijkbaar het meest unieke evenement in de moderne geschiedenis van de mensheid. Al meer dan 60 jaar rapporteren tienduizenden burgers over gans de aarde gespreid vreemde, onverklaarbare fenomenen in het luchtruim of op de grond... Deze rapporten gaan van eenvoudige, abnormale lichtverschijnselen tot onverklaarbare objecten in de lucht of op de grond. Misschien zag je zelf al eens iets vreemds... Bijkomende vreemde aanverwante verschijnselen, zoals de “cattle mutilations” en de graancirkels, stellen ons nog voor meer vragen. Veroorzaken de UFO’s deze vreemde, maar bizarre tekenen? Een angstwekkender, maar toch relatief nieuw element  in de Ufologie gaat over de ontvoeringen door aliëns. Een aantal personen verklaren dat UFO’s en hun inzittenden hen ontvoerden, meenamen tot in het ruimtetuig. Hier ondergingen ze meestal pijnlijke, medische onderzoeken; worden bloed, huid- of spermastalen genomen en soms planten de aliëns een implantaat in bij de ontvoerde...   Bizarre, ongeloofwaardige verhalen circuleren zo in het UFO-milieu. Bepaalde sceptici verwerpen het UFO-probleem gewoon zonder onderzoek. Ze geloven niet (meer) in de gerapporteerde UFO-meldingen. Volgens hen komen deze verhalen toch maar van gekken, aandachtzoekers, mediageile of fantasierijke personen of zijn het toch maar gewoon vervalsingen of trucages. Uit ons onderzoek blijkt dat dit bij de meeste UFO-meldingen niet het geval is. Inderdaad, het zijn meestal eerlijke, intelligente en wel opgevoede burgers, waaronder rechters, wetenschappers, politiemensen, militairen en zelfs ervaren piloten met hun bemanning, die UFO-waarnemingen rapporteren. Deze burgers als gek, idioot of belachelijk verklaren is laag bij de grond en getuigt van weinig wetenschappelijk inzicht. Zelfs al ben je scepticus, toch mag je niet verrast zijn te leren dat zelfs een aantal invloedrijke wetenschapsmensen met belangrijke diploma’s, naam en papieren, er stellig van overtuigd zijn dat UFO’s buitenaards zijn. Volgens hen zijn UFO’s het resultaat van buitenaardse ruimtetuigen, die onze planeet bezoeken. Indien deze buitenaardse hypothese inderdaad correct blijkt, dan is het UFO-verschijnsel de belangrijkste, wetenschappelijke gebeurtenis in het bestaan van het mensdom. En ... het gebeurt allemaal voor onze neus!   Vanzelfsprekend aanvaardt de huidige, georganiseerde wetenschappelijke gemeenschap en het overgrote deel  van  zijn wetenschappers deze stelling niet.  Waarom?  De meeste wetenschappers lopen gewoon mee met het ideeëngoed van de grote massa. De vooruitgang van de wetenschap is niet het resultaat van deze wetenschappers. Het is het werk van enkelingen, die het aandurven de bestaande wetenschappelijke stellingen en axioma’s in vraag te stellen en grenzen te verleggen... Is het mogelijk dat in een tijdperk, waarin de wetenschappers ruimteschepen naar Mars zenden in hun onderzoek naar buitenaardse levensvormen; dat ze met reusachtige radiotelescopen het heelal afspeuren naar radiosignalen van verre beschavingen, dat het bewijs van het bestaan van buitenaards, intelligent leven doodgewoon op aarde in grote hoeveelheid kan gevonden worden?   De believers, die geloven dat sommige UFO-rapporten buitenaardse bezoekers vertegenwoordigen, wachten vol ongeduld op die ene waarneming die alle twijfels wegneemt en het ultieme bewijs levert... De non-believers en sceptici proberen op allerlei wijzen de Ufologie te kelderen, soms verklaren ze gewoon één specifieke UFO-waarneming en stellen dan al de andere meldingen in vraag en eveneens als verklaarbaar... Simplistische denkpiste, denk je ook niet? In plaats van op een positieve manier SAMEN op onderzoek te gaan, maken ze elkaar het leven zuur door een afbraakpolitiek te volgen.  Maar tot het vinden van dat ene, onweerlegbaar bewijs voor UFO’s (buitenaardse theorie), vind ik dat wij objectieve en neutrale onderzoekers dienen te blijven, met beide voeten op de grond. De welles – nietes polemiek van wie het bewijs dient te leveren, is prietpraat.  Degenen die na 50 jaar nog steeds niet aannemen dat UFO’s bestaan, zijn ongelovige thomassen...  Wel is het een feit dat ondanks de vele duizenden UFO-meldingen, slechts een fractie voldoet aan de verklaring van UFO, onbekend vliegen objekt... Meer dan 90 % van alle meldingen kunnen wij verklaren als optische illusies, hallucinaties, vreemde natuurverschijnselen, testvluchten van geheime toestellen en zelfs trucages en vervalsingen ....    Dus bij het onderzoek van een UFO-waarneming dienen wij vooral neutraal, objectief en zelfs sceptisch te blijven. Onze gepaste achterdocht leidt ons naar het zoeken van een “aardse oplossing” voor de melding. Slechts als alle mogelijke wetenschappelijke en aardse denkpistes uitgeput zijn, kunnen, mogen, durven wij van een UFO spreken. Bij de minste twijfel over een mogelijke oplossing, dienen wij deze laatste als verklaring te aanvaarden, tot het tegendeel bewezen is.  Even verduidelijken wat ik onder de term UFO versta. Voor mij is een UFO een onbekend, onverklaarbaar (na alle mogelijke oplossingen te checken) licht of object in de lucht of op de grond, die wij met onze huidige kennis niet kunnen verklaren. Een UFO is voor mij dus geen buitenaardse,” vliegende schotel met inzittenden”! Als je deze laatste stelling of verklaring van de term UFO zelf aanneemt, kan je geen objectief, neutraal onderzoek doen of dien je uitermate voorzichtig te werk te gaan bij je UFO-onderzoek...  Daarom vind ik dat wij tijdens ons onderzoek een aantal principes dienen na te leven of er ten minste rekening mee te houden. Deze stellingen kan je uitgebreid terugvinden in het boek van Philip J. Klass “UFO’s EXPLAINED”... Ondanks de jaren kwam er geen sleet op deze principes. Het kan geen kwaad om deze principes van de meester-scepticus in ons achterhoofd te houden...   PRINCIPE 1:        Normale eerlijke en intelligente personen, die plots blootgesteld worden aan een korte, onverwachte gebeurtenis, vooral één die een ongewoon object betreft, zullen meestal onjuist en onvolledig zijn in het nauwkeurig beschrijven van wat ze echt zagen. De reden is dat wat een persoon gelooft dat hij zag, sterk beïnvloed wordt door de vroeger reeds ervaren en opgeslagen informatie, misschien onbewust in de hersenen...   PRINCIPE 2:        Ondanks de strikte beperkingen van de menselijk waarneming, wanneer ze blootgesteld wordt aan korte, onverwachte en ongewone gebeurtenissen, zullen sommige details, gerapporteerd door de waarnemer bijzonder correct en juist zijn. Het grote probleem voor de UFO-onderzoeker is uit te zoeken welke details correct werden weergegeven en welke onjuist en onvolledig zijn.       Dit terugvinden of achterhalen van de correcte en alle details van een melding lijkt ons onmogelijk tot de ware identiteit van de UFO achterhaalt wordt, wat niet altijd het geval is... het gevaar schuilt er eveneens in dat de waarnemer een aantal details “onbewust” aanvult om zijn waarneming geloofwaardiger te maken. Niemand wordt graag belachelijk gemaakt, vandaar dit onbewuste proces...   PRINCIPE 3:        Als een persoon, die een ongewoon en vreemd object waarneemt, besluit dat hij waarschijnlijk een ruimteschip van een andere planeet zag, kan hij echt aannemen dat het object reageert op zijn a        aanwezigheid of acties ondernam, terwijl in realiteit er absoluut geen oorzaak-gevolg effect of interactie plaatsvindt...   PRINCIPE 4:        Nieuws media, die een grote aandacht besteden bij het eerst ontvangen van een UFO-melding, besteden weinig of geen aandacht, tijd of plaats om een aanvaardbare verklaring voor de waarneming te geven, wanneer al feiten ontdekt en verklaard zijn... Inderdaad voor de eerste melding durven ze de frontpagina te gebruiken, terwijl de verklaring meestal een gering, klein artikeltje inhoudt, ergens op een binnen blad.   PRINCIPE 5:        Geen enkele menselijke waarnemer, inbegrepen ervaren vliegtuigbemanningen, kunnen correct  de stand / de hoogte of de grootte van een ongewoon object  in de lucht schatten, tenzij het zeer sterk overeenkomt met een gekend voorwerp, waarvan ze de grootte of hoogte wel kennen en er dus mee kunnen vergelijken...   PRINCIPE 6:        Eens dat de nieuwsmedia uitgebreid vermelden dat ze geloven dat er Ufo’s in de buurt zijn, zijn er een aantal natuurlijke en door mensen gemaakte tuigen, vooral al ze bij nacht gezien worden, die ongewone karakteristieken vertonen in het brein van de hoopvolle waarnemers. Hun UFO rapporten voegen zich op hun beurt tot de opgewonden massa, waardoor nog meer waarnemers aangemoedigd worden om naar UFO’s te speuren. Deze situatie voedt zich net zolang tot dat de media hun belangstelling verliezen voor het onderwerp, waarna de “UFO-flap” snel alle stoom aflaat en stilvalt...   PRINCIPE 7:        In de poging vast te stellen of een UFO een vervalsing (hoax) is, dient de onderzoeker zich te baseren op het fysisch bewijs, of het gebrek eraan, wanneer het in een specifiek geval zou moeten bestaan. Hij mag niet enkel en alleen afhangen van karakterbevestingen van de belangrijkste betrokkenen of waarnemers. Mensen, die gewoon eerlijk zijn/lijken en zich aan de wet houden, kunnen evenzeer betrokken worden bij een vervalsing.   PRINCIPE 8:        Het onvermogen van zelfs ervaren onderzoekers om volledig en positief een UFO-melding te verklaren bij gebrek aan voldoende gegevens, zelfs na een harde en lange inspanning, impliceert niet echt het bewijs van de theorie dat ruimtetuigen van een andere planeet onze aarde bezoeken. Vaak brengt de toekomst raad en worden bepaalde meldingen achteraf toch op een “aardse” manier verklaard.   PRINCIPE 9 :       Wanneer een lichtverschijnsel s’nachts in de lucht waargenomen wordt en de waarnemer gelooft dat hij een UFO ziet en hij meldt dit aan een radaroperator met de vraag  om op zijn scherm te zoeken naar een onbekend doel, zal er meestal onveranderlijk  “een onbekend doel” gevonden worden op het scherm. Tegengesteld, wanneer een ongewoon punt op het radarscherm s’nachts waargenomen wordt, waarvan de operator aanneemt of verdenkt dat het een UFO is, en een waarnemer wordt gevraagd om te zoeken naar een licht aan de nachtelijke hemel, zal er onveranderlijk een visuele waarneming gebeuren... In de opgewondenheid van het ogenblik, lijkt het niet belangrijk dat het radarpunt zich in het westen bevindt, terwijl de visuele waarneming aan de oostelijke, noordelijke of zuidelijke hemel zichtbaar is...”de twee waarnemingen” lijken elkaar gewoon te bevestigen. Zelfs wanneer er tussen de 2 waarnemingen (radar / waarnemer) minuten of uren liggen, gaat men er vanuit dat de waarneming door twee onafhankelijke bronnen bevestigd werden..   PRINCIPE 10:      Veel UFO-meldingen lijken raadselachtig en onverklaarbaar, gewoon omdat de onderzoekers faalden om een voldoende inspanning te leveren om de melding te verklaren, ofwel door gebrek aan tijd, ofwel door gebrek aan kennis, ofwel door een specifiek geloof... Het is niet verrassend dat een aantal onderzoekers personen zijn die ervan overtuigd zijn dat UFO’s buitenaardse bezoekers zijn, bewust of onbewust. Hoe hoger het aantal onverklaarbare UFO-meldingen, hoe sterker de buitenaardse theorie wordt...   Ondanks het feit dat Philip Klass deze principe een 30 jaar terug aanhaalde, vind ik ze nog steeds brandend actueel. Om ons onderzoek een positieve en onweerlegbare basis te geven, zijn deze “raadgevingen” van levensbelang. Zijn doel was om alle UFO’s als verklaarbaar en aards te maken. Willen wij één of andere theorie bewijzen, zoals de buitenaardse of de meerdere dimensietheorie, dan dienen onze rapporten voldoende gestructureerd te zijn en de bewijzen onweerlegbaar... Geen eenvoudige zaak noch voor de believers, noch voor de non-believers of sceptici om hun stellingen hard te maken. Het belangrijkste is wel dat wij vaak door de welles-niets polemiek ons hoofddoel of bestaansreden als onderzoeker uit het oog verliezen, namelijk het zoeken naar de waarheid achter het UFO-fenomeen...   Zijn deze principes het evangelie? Verre van maar je kan altijd van een tegenstander / scepticus leren. Schakel zijn opmerkingen uit en je maakt je studie een stuk geloofwaardiger en krachtiger. Vanzelfsprekend heb ik Klass niet letterlijk verwoord, maar heb ik mijn persoonlijke opinie aan zijn principes gevoegd. Over het ontvoeringssyndroom wordt in deze principes niet gepraat, maar ook daar had zijn persoonlijke visie over. Jawel, negatief, maar van een scepticus kan je niet meer verwachten.
