Secret CIA files claim to expose locations of three alien bases... and two of them are on Earth

Americans tuned into a congressional UFO hearing today, where top scientists and Pentagon insiders claimed the US government has been hiding proof of alien life.

And while officials continue to deny encounters with mysterious aerial phenomena, a resurfaced CIA document suggests the government may have identified extraterrestrial beings decades ago.

In the 1970s and 80s, the CIA conducted experiments with individuals who claimed they could perceive information about distant objects, events, or people — a process known as 'remote viewing.'

One such report, titled 'Description of Personnel Associated 'ET' Bases,' detailed a session in which a remote viewer was given unknown targets and asked to describe what they perceived.

The document describes alleged alien bases located in Alaska, South America or Africa, and on Titan, Saturn's largest moon.

'So far have run into three types of entities associated with bases at various locations within the solar system,' the test subject wrote.

The remote viewer also reported seeing 'entities' at these sites. One was said to have 'a very large, rounded-shaped head' and 'very unhuman appearance,' while another was described as 'very pale' with a 'sharp nose.'

But the Titan base appeared to be staffed with human scientists, including 'an attractive female.'

A a resurfaced CIA document suggests the government may have identified extraterrestrial beings decades ago

A remote viewer identified two alien bases on Earth, one in Alaska and the other in either South America or Africa

The remote viewing session was part of the CIA's top-secret STARGATE program, which recruited individuals believed to have psychic abilities for military and intelligence purposes during the Cold War. 

The program began in the early 1970s and officially shut down in 1995 after being deemed scientifically unreliable and operationally ineffective for intelligence gathering.

The report on extraterrestrial bases was produced in 1987 and later declassified in 2000. 

During a remote viewing session, participants typically sketched what they 'saw' and jotted down brief notes about their perceptions.

The 12-page document includes several drawings believed to depict the locations of these ET bases—one sketch appears to resemble a rocky mountain.

That drawing has been interpreted as Mount Hayes in Alaska, which stands roughly 8,000 feet tall.

Mount Hayes has long been the subject of UFO sightings and theories about a hidden underground alien base. Numerous witnesses have reported seeing flying saucers, strange lights, and other unexplained phenomena in the area.

Although the remote viewer did not describe the base itself in detail, they claimed to have perceived 'two types of entities associated with this site.'

The report also said there is an alien base on Saturn's largest moon, Titan

Inside the base, they perceived two more entities. One was seated at a circular console with a round, screen-like object, according to the session notes.

The CIA operated several secret remote viewing programs during the Cold War, using individuals with alleged psychic abilities to assist in a range of intelligence operations—from tracking kidnapped hostages held by terrorist groups to locating fugitive criminals inside the U.S.

One such program, known as Sun Streak, even tasked a remote viewer with locating the Ark of the Covenant, which they claimed was hidden somewhere in the Middle East.

In another high-profile session, famed remote viewer Joe McMoneagle, known as the CIA's 'Remote Viewer No. 1,' was reportedly given coordinates and asked to describe what he saw.

Speaking on the show American Alchemy in March, McMoneagle said he visualized a giant pyramid on Mars, larger than Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza, filled with what he called 'monster rooms.'

'I started getting an image of human beings that were trapped in a place where the atmosphere was turning bad,' McMoneagle recalled. 'It was obvious these people were dying for some reason—but they were humans. They were just twice our size.'

The coordinates he had been given were later revealed to correspond to Mars, 1,000,000 BC—as written on a white card handed to him during the session.

Shocking UFO files hidden in presidential library claim US made successful contact with an alien race

A trove of unearthed government documents has detailed a secret face-to-face encounter with aliens beings more than 60 years ago.

More than 50 pages of CIA files, which the FBI continues to say are fakes, claimed that a secret government program established communications with UFOs in 1959.

Project Sigma, started in 1954, used a binary computer language sent along radio signals into space to make contact with alien life.

Just five years after the interstellar connection, an official from the US Air Force met the extraterrestrials who received these messages.

The files claimed that on April 25, 1964, a single intelligence officer met with two aliens at a prearranged location in the New Mexico desert - the same state that the famous Roswell UFO crash allegedly took place.

The meeting lasted for about three hours, during which time the intelligence officer and the extraterrestrials shared 'basic information' about their respective races.

The documents also detailed  how a secret government group called the Majestic 12 used their incredible power to keep top secret information on UFOs away from the military and the even White House.

Several classified projects focused on alien communication and UFO research allegedly fell under the Majestic 12's control - with the group revealing to the CIA that they succeeded in their goals of finding alien life.

The UFO task force was reportedly created by President Harry Truman in 1947

Project Sigma, which was allegedly run by the secret group Majestic 12, spent five years trying to make radio contact with UFOs before succeeding in 1959

According to documents that emerged in the 1980s, the Majestic 12 (MJ-12) was a committee of high-ranking military, scientific, and intelligence officials assembled after the now-famous UFO crash in Roswell.

The 12-person team was allegedly established through a secret executive order by President Harry Truman in 1947.

For over two decades, these experts were tasked with managing investigations into UFOs and extraterrestrial contact.

The CIA files stated that MJ-12 oversaw four specific projects charged with communicating with aliens, researching UFOs, recovering crashed alien ships, and testing out whatever advanced technology they could find.

MJ-12 stated that it took five years before they finally made successful contact with UFOs in 1959, noting that the group 'established primitive communications with the Aliens,' using binary code sent by radio.

Binary is the lowest-level language computers understand, directly corresponding to electrical states in hardware. It represents all data (text, numbers, instructions) as sequences of 0s and 1s.

And scientists searching for alien life still uses the method to this day. 

This basic form of communication would led to the meeting between the Air Force and these aliens in 1964, with MJ-12 stating that 'the Air Force officer managed to exchange basic information with the two Aliens.'

A secret government group known as the Majestic 12 was allegedly in charge of test flying a recovered UFO

Majestic 12 wrote at the time that this project was still continuing 'at an Air Force base in New Mexico.' 

Following the historic meeting, MJ-12 established Project Snowbird in 1972 with a mission of test flying a recovered alien aircraft.

The classified report said that project was still taking place in a secret Nevada base - which many UFO researchers today believe is Area 51.

Despite being secretly appointed by the president, the uncovered documents also detailed how MJ-12 actively withheld information from top officials and even insulted those who they felt didn't need to know about UFOs.

'Apparently, White House requested info,' the members of MJ-12 wrote in a CIA memo. 'Can't seem to make those fools realize [this] info is not available for any dissemination.'

Later in the same letter, the group told the CIA not to allow a group labeled as 'AF' (which may have stood for the Air Force) to have access their data.

The top secret encounter was not found in the declassified CIA archives, but were instead uncovered after being quietly made available to the public at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library that opened in 1991.

CIA files allegedly written by the Majestic 12 revealed that the group was openly keeping secrets on UFO research from government officials, including members of the White House

MJ-12's existence became public knowledge after an alleged government whistleblower mailed a report on the group's activities to UFO researchers in 1984.

However, the FBI labeled the mysterious UFO document as 'bogus' and claimed that the group, the involvement of the experts named in the report, and MJ-12's mission were all a work of fiction.

In 1988, the intelligence community added that there were serious inconsistencies and formatting errors in the decades-old briefing for President Eisenhower that suggests it's a forgery.

Coincidentally, this research and development program was based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio - the same military facility the debris from the Roswell UFO crash was allegedly taken to in 1947.

Dr Hal Puthoff, a physicist and UFO researcher, recently noted on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that one of his colleagues spoke to the commander of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and confirmed that the crash really happened.

'They say it was the real deal, that this was a real unidentifiable crash and these materials were really, really from out someplace,' Puthoff said.

In reference to Projects Snowbird and Pounce, Puthoff also claimed that the US government currently has 'at least 10' crashed UFOs in their possession that they're still studying.

According to the Scientific Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects in January 1953: 'The continued emphasis on the reporting of these phenomena does, in these perilous times, result in a threat to the orderly functioning of the protective organa of the body politic.'

The five-person panel, made up of academic experts from universities throughout the US, concluded that UFOs did not pose a direct threat to national security during the Cold War.

Moreover, the panel's memo recommended that the government 'strip' UFOs of the 'special status' these sightings had already attained after Roswell.

Thousands of objects sent by a non-human intelligence may have been spying on the world's nuclear tests all the way back in the 1940s.

A groundbreaking study has just been published, providing verified evidence that something or someone was observing our nuclear sites from space long before the first human satellites were ever launched into orbit.

Dr Beatriz Villarroel from the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics in Sweden revealed a clear connection between nuclear tests between 1949 and 1957 and an increase in the number of mysterious bright spots called 'transients' appearing in the sky.

These transients are not believed to be a natural phenomenon, with Villarroel saying they showed signs of being highly reflective, like a mirror, and even spinning like a flying saucer.

The publication of these findings was a major milestone, as most papers discussing the existence of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) are rejected by the scientific community.

Having the work successfully peer-reviewed means other scientists have looked over the data and could not find anything to dismiss the team's findings as just another unproven story about UFOs.

Overall, researchers discovered that the mysterious transients were 45 percent more likely to be spotted flying overhead just before or right after a nuclear test.

'These are objects before Sputnik One when humans had nothing up there, and these things, no matter what they are, they need to be really flat, reflective like a mirror, and I personally don't know anything natural that looks like that,' Villarroel said.

The study, published in Scientific Reports by Villarroel and Dr Stephen Bruehl, analyzed mysterious star-like objects seen in old photos from the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey in California during the early nuclear days of the US, UK, and Soviet Union.

Specifically, researchers focused on 124 above-ground nuclear bomb tests conducted by the three nations, causing explosions in the open air, not underground as these tests are carried out today.

The unknown objects appeared briefly and then vanished, and they were captured on camera before humans began launching any kind of devices into space, so they can't be explained as human-made craft.

Not only did the researchers find that UFO sightings went up on days when nuclear testing was taking place, but the total number of transients spotted in the photos also increased by 8.5 percent.

These unidentified objects were most likely to appear the day after a nuclear test, making explanations that the sightings were just streaks or clouds created by the explosions unlikely. 

'Nature can always surprise us with something we could never have imagined. So, I cannot exclude that there might be some other explanation that is just outside my imagination,' Villarroel told NewsNation.

'But from what I see, I cannot find any other consistent explanation than that we are looking at something artificial,' she added.

Investigative journalist and author Ross Coulthart noted: 'The implications are this might be the first scientific evidence of a non-human intelligence.'

Villarroel could not say for sure whether the objects spotted in Earth's orbit in the 1950s were still there, but noted that if they were truly constructed by a non-human intelligence, they may still be circling the planet.

The scientists found over 100,000 transients during their observations, with about 35,000 in the northern hemisphere alone.

The study found nearly 60 of these artificial objects floating in orbit on days when there was nuclear testing, and witnesses reported seeing UFOs.

That number went down to 40 transients on days when only one of these two events took place.

The newly peer-reviewed study is not the only evidence that a non-human intelligence may have been visiting Earth during the Cold War.

A trove of unearthed government documents recently detailed a secret face-to-face encounter with alien beings more than 60 years ago.

More than 50 pages of CIA files, which the FBI has maintained are fakes, claimed that a secret government program established communications with UFOs in 1959.

Before that, speculation has continued to swirl around the alleged 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico.

While the US government has continued to deny that an alien craft was recovered, whistleblowers have claimed that the Roswell UFO is real and is just one of several non-human craft the US military has recovered since 1947.

An interstellar comet is dramatically jetting off ice and dust into space, a new image shows.

The comet, called 3I/ATLAS, is sending out a jet of material towards the sun as our nearest star warms up some of its surface. The composite image shows the nucleus or icy, rocky central core of 3I/ATLAS as a large and black dot, along with a white glow — the comet's coma, or atmosphere. The jet is marked in purple and is blasting off towards the direction of the sun, which is typical behavior of comets in the solar system as well.

3I/ATLAS is only the third known interstellar object that has come through our solar system, and is rapidly hurtling towards the sun for its closest approach on Oct. 30. The comet will come within 1.8 astronomical units (sun-Earth distances) of our planet, making it visible in small telescopes before disappearing again into the dark.

Astronomers received notice of the jet Oct. 15 in the Astronomer's Telegram, an announcement service for the astronomy community with editor-in-chief Robert Rutledge, an associate professor at Montreal's McGill University.

Footage of the jet was captured on Aug. 2, and combines 159 exposures of 50 seconds each. It was taken with the Two-meter Twin Telescope at Teide Observatory in Tenerife, which is in the Canary Islands.

"This is the usual," Miquel Serra-Ricart, astrophysicist and chief science officer at the Light Bridges private research institution, which co-manages Teide, told our sister site LiveScience in an email. Serra-Ricart was the individual who posted the new images, which are not yet peer-reviewed; he pointed out that the comet’s tail is also pointing away from the sun, which is typical of these icy objects.

While comets do warm up when they get close to the sun, they don't warm up in all spots in the same fashion. The areas facing the sun heat up fastest, and if there is a weaker area on the surface of the comet, sublimated gases under the surface can burst through — causing these sun-facing jets.

Serra-Ricart estimated the jet could be as far as 6,200 miles (10,000 km) from 3I/ATLAS' surface, which is more than twice the equivalent distance across the largest part of the United States. The jet is likely made up of carbon dioxide and dust particles—just like what was spotted by NASA's James Webb Space Telescope back in August.

These jets can begin to fan out as the nucleus of the comet rotates. Some of the material will stay in the coma, while the rest will fall into the comet's tail after pressure from the sun — known as the solar wind — forces it there. Solar system comet C/2020 F3 NEOWISE, which was visible to the naked eye, showed just that kind of behavior back in 2020 in Hubble Space Telescope images.

A planetary defense group backed by NASA has started efforts to nail down the exact location of comet 3I/ATLAS following the observation of unnatural behavior from the object.

The comet, which is the size of Manhattan that possibly has alien technology, has been listed by the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) as a threat. The group is a global coalition of space experts and entities coordinated by NASA who come together for the detection and monitoring of asteroids and Near-Earth Objects that could possibly be hazardous, doing so to give assessments on potential Earth impacts.

According to the New York Post, this is the first time ever that an interstellar object has been zoned in on by the group in a campaign, triggering one to sharpen skills and prepare the world for a possible threat from space.

Some of the bizarre behavior includes having an anti-tail, a particle jet that’s directed at the sun rather than vice versa, which is typically how comets flow. 3I/ATLAS also discharged a column that contained four grams of nickel per second, with no iron being present, which is unusual for comets, per The Post.

According to Harvard University astrophysicist Dr. Avi Loeb who spoke with the New York Post, nickel tetracarbonyl has only been seen in manufacturing done by humans.

Previously, Loeb noted that the non-gravitational acceleration of the object and abnormal course that brings it strangely close to multiple planets — Mars, Jupiter and Venus — could be a sign of an alien probe doing a reconnaissance mission on Earth. Loeb made the claims in a paper, per The Post.

IAWN will be carrying out a “comet campaign from November 27, 2025, through January 27, 2026” to clarify ways to pinpoint the precise location of 3I/ATLAS, according to the New York Post.

Massive burial uncovered in 2,200-year-old city confirms four chapters in the Bible

Ancient tombs and artifacts uncovered in Turkey provide new evidence of Colossae, the city immortalized in St Paul's letters in the Bible. 

Excavations in the Aegean region at the foothills of Mount Honaz have revealed over 60 tombs dating back more than 2,200 years.

The findings, reported by Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency on October 6, shed new light on a city best known from the New Testament as the home of an early Christian community addressed by St Paul in his Epistle to the Colossians. 

In his letter, Paul emphasizes that Jesus is supreme over all things and that believers are complete in Him, freed from spiritual powers and legalistic rituals. The letter spans 95 verses across four chapters.

Paul warns the Colossians against false teachings that diminish Christ's role, urging them instead to live as new creations, setting their minds on things above and embodying love, kindness and forgiveness

Archaeologists now believe the newly discovered necropolis may be the largest of its kind in Anatolia, featuring rock-cut, trough-shaped tombs that showcase the ingenuity of ancient builders in using the natural travertine formations.

Archaeologist Baris Yener said: 'After removing the surface soil, we identified around 65 tombs, of which we excavated 60.'

The tombs contained a remarkable array of artifacts, providing insight into the spiritual and cultural life of Colossae before the arrival of Christianity.

In the Bible St Paul wrote a letter emphasizing that Jesus is supreme over all things and that believers are fully complete in Him, freed from spiritual powers and legalistic rituals.

Terracotta ceramics, glass bottles, and oil lamps were discovered, alongside coins, sandals, and personal belongings of the deceased. 

Paul, born as Saul of Tarsus, was an early Christian missionary and one of the most influential figures in the spread of Christianity. 

The Bible says that before his conversion, Paul actively persecuted Christians, believing their teachings were a threat to Judaism. 

He was present at the stoning of Stephen, one of the first Christian martyrs, and sought to arrest Christians in various cities to stop the spread of their faith. 

On the road to Damascus, Saul experienced a dramatic encounter with Jesus, in which a bright light blinded him and he heard Jesus ask, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?' according to biblical text.

After this event, Saul was temporarily blind and later baptized, fully converting to Christianity and taking the name Paul. 

Following his conversion, Paul dedicated his life to preaching the teachings of Jesus and establishing Christian communities throughout the Roman Empire. 

The Bible says he was martyred by beheading in Rome around 64 or 68 AD, likely during Emperor Nero's persecution of Christians.

Before his death, Paul wrote the Letter to the Colossians, found in Colossians 1:1, primarily to refute a heresy that threatened the church by diminishing the supremacy of Christ. 

The discoveries have suggested that the people of Colossae practiced rich spiritual and religious traditions long before St Paul wrote his letter, FOX News reported.

Many of the artifacts were likely placed in the graves to accompany the dead on their journey into the afterlife, illustrating beliefs about life beyond death. 

In addition to these items, the archaeologists uncovered charms, amulets and stones believed to have healing or protective properties. 

'The findings reveal how much the people of Colossae valued magic, talismans and objects believed to offer protection,' Yener noted.

'These pre-Christian practices provide essential context for understanding the religious environment in which the early Christian community emerged.'

The discoveries are particularly significant because they illuminate the world into which St Paul wrote his epistle. 

The Colossians, living in a city steeped in ancient religious traditions, were likely influenced by local spiritual practices and beliefs, which Paul addressed in his letters. 

The presence of mystical objects and charms suggested that concepts of protection, ritual and magic were commonplace, elements that Paul sought to guide toward Christian faith.

The necropolis also offers clues about social and economic structures, as the arrangement of the tombs, the wealth of the grave goods and the use of durable materials indicate a city with organized urban planning and a community capable of sustaining long-term settlement. 

Yener said excavators were surprised to find so many side-by-side tombs in such a confined area. 

The necropolis reflects how ancient people made 'remarkable use' of the area's geological and topographical features. 

'They sought to use the travertine rock formations efficiently, since agriculture — particularly grain production was practiced at the time,' Yener said. 

'To preserve arable land, they designated the rocky travertine areas as burial grounds.' 

Oil lamps, for instance, were not just practical but also served a symbolic purpose, highlighting the importance of light in religious and funerary rituals.

While the tombs themselves predate the Christian era, their discovery adds depth to our understanding of Colossae as a historical and cultural hub. 

The team believes that continued excavation could reveal even more about the city's architecture, trade networks, and daily life, painting a fuller picture of the environment in which early Christianity took root.

Interstellar visitor now hurtling toward NASA spacecraft's path in a once-in-a-lifetime encounter

The ancient interstellar visitor in our Solar System is on a trajectory to encounter a NASA spacecraft in just a few weeks.

The object 3I/ATLAS is expected to pass near NASA's Europa Clipper and the European Space Agency's Hera spacecraft between October 25 and November 6. 

European researchers released a pre-print study discussing the rendezvous, saying the craft will be 'immersed within the ion tail of 3I/ATLAS, providing the opportunity to detect the signatures of an interstellar comet's ion tail.'

One of the most interesting possibilities is encountering the comet's ion tail, a stream of charged particles extending millions of miles from the coma.

Encounters with ion tails are unusual and valuable because they provide a direct sample of material from beyond our Solar System. Historically, such crossings have been difficult to detect, and many may have gone unnoticed, appearing only as small fluctuations in solar wind and magnetic field measurements. 

To predict these potential encounters, researchers use the Tailcatcher program, which calculates the closest approach, or 'impact parameter' of a spacecraft to a comet's ion tail based on solar wind flow.

For 3I/ATLAS, Tailcatcher predicts minimum distances of roughly five million miles. 

Researchers noted that even if Europa Clipper cannot measure all components, the mission could reveal the structure and composition of the ion tail, helping scientists understand the properties of interstellar bodies.

As discovery rates of such objects improve, future spacecraft, including ESA’s Comet Interceptor, may be able to encounter interstellar objects at even closer range, opening a new era in the study of visitors from other star systems. 

Co-author Samuel Gran, a postdoctoral researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, told Space.com: 'We have virtually no data on the interior of interstellar comets and the star systems that formed them.

'Sampling the tail in this way is the closest we can currently get to a direct sample of such an object, and thus a different part of the galaxy.'

NASA's Europa is traveling to Jupiter's moon Europa, and the ESA's Hera is currently in the asteroid belt, traveling to the Didymos-Dimorphos.

Didymos-Dimorphos is a binary asteroid system in the asteroid belt, consisting of a larger primary asteroid, Didymos, which is about 2,500 feet in diameter, and a smaller moonlet, Dimorphos, which orbits Didymos at roughly 0.75 miles and measures about 525 feet (160 meters) across. 

The system gained attention when NASA’s DART mission deliberately impacted Dimorphos in September 2022 to test planetary defense by slightly altering its orbit. It serves as an important target for studying asteroid composition, orbital dynamics, and strategies for protecting Earth from potential asteroid impacts. 

The study explained that the Europa probe is equipped with instruments to study plasma and a magnetometer, while ESA’s Hera mission cannot measure ions or magnetic fields. 

If solar wind conditions are favorable, Europa Clipper will have a rare chance to study material from the tail of an interstellar object, the report added.

While the researchers and NASA have determined 3I/ATLAS is a comet, Harvard professor Avi Loeb believes all data should be considered before a conclusion is made.

He has stated there is a 30 to 40 percent chance the object 'does not have a fully natural origin,' noting the possibility it is a 'Trojan Horse,' where a technological object masquerades as a comet.

The object has displayed several unusual features that defy the typical behavior of comets, including an 'anti-tail,' a jet of particles that points toward the Sun rather than away from it.

According to the release, scientists will be running a special training exercise from November 27, 2025, to January 27, 2026.

Telescopes and tracking systems around the world will focus on 3I/ATLAS to refine methods for pinpointing its exact location in the sky.

What REALLY happens when you nearly die: 48 people reveal exactly what they saw during their near-death experience – from black holes to God

It's a question that has baffled the greatest human minds throughout history: what happens when we die? 

Now, scientists have taken us one step closer to finally knowing the truth.

Researchers interviewed 48 people who have had near–death experiences (NDEs) and asked them what they saw in their final moments.

Their responses revealed a staggering variety of visions. 

Some participants described seeing heavenly beings, while one even said they experienced a terrifying journey into a black hole.

Others, meanwhile, described grand visions featuring religious figures and profound emotional experiences.

For example, one participant told scientists: 'There were stone stairs on the left in front of me, and Jesus was toward the top, wearing a white robe,' while another described how 'God appeared as a great light in the distance'.

Yet some people's visions of the afterlife were far more fantastical, featuring bizarre elements that you wouldn't find anywhere in the Bible.

Scientists interviewed 48 people about what they saw during their near-death experiences. Their answers range from classic visions of tunnels and lights to bizarre encounters with otherworldly beings 

Participants were asked to describe what they saw when they had their near-death experience, and to sketch the geometry of the experience 

NDEs are intense and often life-changing experiences that occur during life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrest or respiratory failure.

Estimates suggest that about four to eight per cent of the general public have had an NDE.

However, despite being surprisingly common, scientists have struggled to find a way of systematically studying such intense and personal experiences.

In a new study, currently awaiting peer review, researchers tried to categorise NDEs by interviewing people about the 'geometry' of their experience.

Surprisingly, these interview sessions revealed that no two people experienced exactly the same thing as they approached death.

Even people who had visions of religious figures like God, Jesus, and the angels saw wildly different things. 

One participant described how they 'became light' and saw 'Jesus at my right, bearded, robed, there to show me the way out'.

Another told the interviewers: 'God force entered from in front of me toward the right. I had the feeling of wanting to lift my head up, but could not or felt that I shouldn't.'

Many individuals reported seeing religious figures such as God or Jesus. The researchers say this is because our cultural beliefs provide the 'scaffold' for the near-death experience hallucinations

Some participants recalled fantastical visions of strange beings and journeys to unknown locations, while others were much simpler and only described lights or tunnels 

Meanwhile, another participant gave an incredibly detailed description of an 'angel' that had come to visit them in their final moments.

They said this being had 'exquisite white wings, the feathers incredibly detailed and layered onto one another and his face was that of a Greek god, very symmetrical and with polished hair like you see in Greek statues'.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, lead author Dr France Lerner, of the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, explained how our cultural background provides the 'scaffold' for the hallucinations caused by an NDE.

This might explain why one participant reported hearing 'men reading the Torah' rather than seeing Christian iconography. 

On the other hand, many people's NDEs had no religious content at all and contained many of the classic near-death features such as bright lights and long tunnels. 

One participant described being 'enveloped with an organic tunnel that was completely black, but had iridescent qualities'.

Other participants reported seeing scenes that would be more suited to a sci–fi film than a religious text, including a terrifying visit to a 'black hole'

Another recalled: 'I was in the centre of an immense bubble of light, I saw no edge of this bubble, it enveloped me completely. I can say that I was part of it, this light was the most beautiful ever seen.'

In a few haunting accounts, some participants even described encounters with loved ones – including those who had long since passed away.

'I saw my aunts Elizabeth and Linnie as they were when they were younger women, I only knew them when they were sixty–seventy years old,' one participant told the scientists.

However, some participants' NDEs were even stranger and contained elements which would be more at home in a science fiction film than a religious text.

For example, one person recalled seeing a black hole, saying: 'A black hole looks black from afar. The light was so bright it was hard to see all colours, they were still there.'

One participant had an even more unusual vision, telling researchers that they saw 'a matrix, with many, many grid points, all connecting to each other in multiple dimensions.'

They added: 'I felt that if I entered the matrix, I would be able to travel anywhere in the entire universe, simply by thinking about it.'

Although their visions were wildly diverse, the researchers also found that these experiences play out in four distinct types of space.

One person told the scientists that they saw the Matrix with 'many, many grid points, all connecting to each other in multiple dimensions'. They also had the powerful belief that this Matrix could take them anywhere in the universe  

The first, which they call A–shapes, are scenes where the visual field is a narrow cone.

The researchers believe that these might be caused by reduced blood flow to the brain, which causes the peripheral vision to fail and creates tunnel vision.

So-called B-shapes and C-shapes, meanwhile, take place in elliptical or arch–shaped regions and are likely triggered as half of the visual field is temporarily lost.

The final type, known as C5-shapes, takes place within a full 360–degree 'ellipsoidal enclosure'.

Interestingly, the researchers found that people typically progressed from an A-shape to a C5-shape experience as their NDE progressed, suggesting that they share the same physical cause.

The researchers say that all NDEs are caused by a 'breakdown' in the coherence between visual and other physical inputs that normally sustains our sense of bodily unity.

Dr Lerner explained that the shape of an NDE was caused by the way our visual field changes when the brain starts to shut down.

For a long time, it was believed that dinosaurs were already in a state of decline before the asteroid impact. However, a new study published in Science dramatically changes this view. The new data suggests that dinosaurs were thriving right up until the fateful strike — it was the cosmic catastrophe, not internal problems, that led to their extinction.

A team of scientists led by Dr. Andrew Flynn from the University of New Mexico conducted a thorough analysis of rock formations in the San Juan Basin. The area known as the Naashoibito Member contains some of the youngest dinosaur fossils in the world. Using two independent methods — argon isotope analysis and studies of the magnetic polarity of the rocks — the researchers were able to establish a more precise age for these deposits.

The result was sensational: the last dinosaurs of North America lived here just a few hundred thousand years before the asteroid strike. In geological terms, this is an incredibly short period of time.

Prosperity, not decline

The key conclusion of the study was that dinosaurs not only survived but actively thrived. Fossil analysis showed that even in the final millions of years of their existence, they were extremely diverse and well-adapted.

“There is no single North American dinosaur fauna that would make them prone to extinction,” Flynn assured. Instead, there were separate communities that were well adapted to their regions. The north of the continent was home to the familiar triceratops and edmontosaurus, while the south, including New Mexico, was home to giant sauropods.

Professor Steve Brusatte from the University of Edinburgh enthusiastically talks about one of these giants: “Alamosaurus was nearly 30 meters long and weighed more than a Boeing 737. There is no evidence that these dinosaurs were undergoing anything unusual or were in a state of prolonged decline.”

Why did the myth of decline arise?

The researchers offer a logical explanation for this mistake. Dr. Flynn believes it may be related to the nature of the geological record. At the end of the Cretaceous period, there were fewer exposed rocks available for study than before. This creates an “insufficient evidence” effect: fewer rocks — fewer fossils — the illusion of decline. In reality, when looking at specific rich sites like those in New Mexico, the picture is quite different.

“As far as we can tell, it seems there is no reason they should have gone extinct, other than the asteroid impact,” Flynn concludes.

This work has received positive feedback from the scientific community. Professor Michael Benton from the University of Bristol, who was not involved in the study, called the new evidence “very interesting.” At the same time, he noted that the question of global dinosaur decline remains debatable, as the new study focuses on only one specific location.

However, one thing is now clear: at least in some regions of the planet, dinosaurs met their end at the peak of their evolution, unaware of the inevitable threat from space.

3i/ATLAS…. What is it REALLY?

WHAT IS 3i/ATLAS???

We have all heard and seen all these supposed images of the interstellar object known as 3i/ATLAS... In some images (all created by AI and borrowed from the Star Trek TV series) claims are being made that these are the "latest released images" and so forth...

Time to cut through all the false garbage that people create for clicks. This article is the DEFINITIVE statement of understanding that we have about 3i/ATLAS.

First, the most powerful telescope our civilization has ever made is in orbit 1 million miles away from Earth at a LaGrange point (like a parking spot in space) and has imaged 3i/ATLAS... Here are those images attached to this article below.

Notice it doesn’t look like some "alien spaceship".

Notice it doesn’t look like the Planet Killer from the Star Trek episode "The Doomsday Machine".

No... It STILL looks like a blob with NO detail AS EXPECTED for a small object....

So, what is it? Let’s explore, shall we?

What’s its size?

With the latest information, it now appears to be larger than we thought… Then again, it's

an interstellar comet coming in along the plane of our solar system. Current estimates are fuzzy due to the outgassing of materials blocking any visible nucleus. We know it could be larger than Oumuamua and comet Borisov, the only two previous interstellar objects. It can be as small as 0.2 miles in size, BUT as large as 28.5 miles in size....

So, you see, it’s NOT EASY to tell the size of an object that is surrounded by a cloud of outgassing gas and dust... once it gets a little closer, we can make a better estimate.

Current estimates put it closer to the upper limit on the hypothetical size. This larger-than-expected size could be due to a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that it originated from our galactic disk, an area known for its dusty and icy regions, which over billions of years could allow a comet to acquire more material and grow to a large size.

What’s its path?

One thing to understand is that the Solar System is inclined to our galactic plane by about 60-62 degrees… This means that the Sun is roughly centered on our galactic disk and orbits the galaxy with the planet plane at this 60-degree angle or greater. Thus, any object coming into our Solar System can come in from the galactic disk, considering the orientation of how the plane of the galaxy passes right through our Solar System. The illustration shows this arrangement.

What’s it made of?

Looking at its light spectra, we can identify different molecules and atoms in the "coma," which is the dust and gas that is hiding the nucleus itself from us. The object has a very high abundance of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), some water ice, water vapor, and Carbon Monoxide (CO). Finally, there is also some Carbonyl Sulfide (COS), a carbon atom with an oxygen and a sulfur atom, which looks similar to the Carbon Dioxide molecule, where one oxygen is replaced by a sulfur atom. Latest results show that Cyanogen is also present, which is a Carbon and Nitrogen atom bonded together with a second pair of the same atoms. So, it's C 2 N 2. This compound, along with carbon, produces a green glow which we now see. It is also sporting a small tail. NONE of this is unexpected for a comet, and ALL of it is unexpected for a SPACECRAFT. There is perhaps a nucleus made of similar components and chemistry, plus a rocky core like we see with many comets.

What’s its age?

It’s very, very old. This object entered the Solar System and came from the Milky Way's thick disk of stars, gas, and dust. This means it might be at least 7 BILLION years old.

The Sun is 4.6 billion years old for comparison. So, this object could be 1.5 times the age of our Solar System.

What’s its speed?

The speed is how we know that it is interstellar... if this object came from far beyond the cloud of icy cometary objects known as the Oort Cloud, then it would have a speed that is faster than any Oort Cloud object could achieve by falling into the Inner Solar System.

And this is what we see. It is moving at 137 thousand miles per hour (approx. 61 km/sec), much faster than an object falling in from the far-out Oort cloud could achieve.

What is its trajectory?

Because it is coming in along the galactic thick disk, it is coming it is somewhat aligned to the plane of our solar system. This means that it stands a chance of passing some of our planets. Right now, Mars (already passed), Venus, and Jupiter are the three planets that it will swing by as it passes through and then continues out of the solar system and back into interstellar space. Its fast speed means that it is not going to be gravitationally bound to the Sun. Planets move in roughly circular orbits around the sun and there are other objects that move in elliptical orbits around the sun. This object is on a trajectory that will take it in and out of our solar system and it is called a "hyperbolic" trajectory.

What will be its closest approach to the planets?

• Mars

Mars saw this object at its closest point on October 3, 2025, so just a few days before this writing. In fact, Mars is the FIRST planet in our Solar System to see this subject in a “close approach”.

That distance was actually 18 million miles.

• Venus

Venus will see this object at its closest point to the planet on November 3, 2025. When it passes Venus, it will be 60 million miles from the planet.

• Earth

The closest this object will ever get will be about 170 million miles or just shy of the distance to Mars. 3i/ATLAS will only approach to about 130 million miles of the sun which is 1.4 astronomical units. This closest approach will be on December 19, 2025.

• Jupiter

In its final approach, 3i/ATLAS will pass its closest to the Jovian giant on March 16, 2026.

No planet, including Earth, will be seeing this object “close” so do not believe the internet garbage intended to get clicks.

So, there you have it! The truth about 3i/ATLAS. No baloney, no sensationalism, and most importantly no fake pictures to confuse and try to take control of a narrative for clicks. Enjoy the ACTUAL images of the interstellar visitor....

Scientists discover a 'super–Earth' less than 20 light–years away – and it could have the perfect conditions for aliens

Scientists have discovered a 'super–Earth' planet less than 20 light–years away, and it could have the right conditions for alien life.

The exoplanet, dubbed GJ 251 c, is at least four times larger than our own planet and is likely to be a rocky world.

However, what makes it truly special is that it sits within its star's Goldilocks Zone – the region where liquid water can exist on the surface.

According to an international team of researchers, this makes the nearby planet one of the best candidates to host alien lifeforms.

To find the alien world, scientists combed through over 20 years of data to find tiny 'wobbles' in distant stars created by the gravity of orbiting planets. 

While these wobbles don't tell us much about conditions on the planet's surface, they can reveal whether the planet is in the right location to support life. 

Scientists don't yet know whether GJ 251 c has an atmosphere, but new telescopes could reveal this within a decade.

Co–author Professor Suvrath Mahedevan, of Penn State University, told Daily Mail: 'This discovery represents one of the best candidates in the search for atmospheric signature of life elsewhere in the next five to 10 years.'

Scientists have discovered a 'super–Earth' (artist's impression) located less than 20 light–years from Earth, that could have the perfect conditions to support alien life  

Exoplanets – planets orbiting stars other than the sun – are so small, dim, and far away that astronomers aren't able to see them through normal means.

Instead, scientists find them by looking for the signs that something is disturbing the orbit of their host star. 

Professor Mahadevan explains: 'We are often taught in school that planets orbit their host stars, but in reality, planets and stars orbit the common centre of mass of the system.

'So the gravitational tug of the planet is also making the star go around this centre of mass, but this wobble is tiny – only about nine centimetres over a year for the Earth around the Sun.'

Since GJ 251 c is so much bigger than Earth and its star so much smaller, this wobble is large enough for modern telescopes to detect.

To find the exoplanet, Professor Mahadevan and his co–authors used a device called the Habitable–Zone Planet Finder (HPF), which is essentially a complex prism that breaks apart the signals from starlight.

Thanks to two decades of observations, scientists already knew that there was another planet, known as GJ 251 b, orbiting this star every 14 days.

But when they looked more closely using the HPF, they found that there was a stronger signal repeating every 54 days.

Scientists say that GJ 251 c (yellow line) likely orbits within its star's 'Goldilocks Zone', the region where liquid water can exist on the surface 

Scientists found the planet using a device called the Habitable–Zone Planet Finder (pictured), which is essentially a complex prism that breaks apart the signals from starlight. This picked up the subtle 'wobble' created by the gravity of the orbiting planet

This suggested that there was a second planet in orbit - one that was significantly larger than its neighbour.

It can be extremely difficult to separate the faint signal of a distant planet from the natural activity of a star, but the researchers are confident their data proves GJ 251 c really exists.

Even more excitingly, their study, published in The Astronomical Journal, suggests that this planet is 'one of the best candidates' for alien life.

Professor Mahadevan says: 'GJ 251 c is at the right distance from its host star that liquid water could exist on its surface, given the right atmospheric conditions. This makes it a really interesting world to characterise further.

'What makes this target even more attractive is that it is less than 20 light–years away, making these characterisation efforts possible.'

Unfortunately, even though the planet is orbiting one of the 100 closest stars to the sun, Professor Mahadevan says it is too far for humans to visit with our current capabilities.

However, improved telescope technology here on Earth could allow us to answer the big questions about GJ 251 c without needing to climb into a rocket.

The researchers are already planning for when the next generation of 30–metre ground–based telescopes comes online.

Scientists are preparing for when the next generation of telescopes will be able to image the exoplanet. These simulations show what future telescopes should expect to find in different scenarios, including a 'Modern Earth Analogue' (far left) in which life exists 

These telescopes will allow scientists to directly image rocky worlds in the habitable zones of nearby stars and to take measurements of their atmosphere.

The researchers have even created simulations of what GJ 251 c's atmosphere might look like under various conditions.

That raises the tantalising possibility of detecting an alien 'biosignature' in the atmosphere of an exoplanet within the next five to 10 years.

Co–author Dr Corey Beard, an exoplanet scientist from UC Irvine, says: 'We are at the cutting edge of technology and analysis methods with this system.

'We need the next generation of telescopes to directly image this candidate, but what we also need is community investment.'

Astronomers discover skyscraper-size asteroid hidden in sun's glare — and it's moving at a near-record pace

where they are easiest to spot. But asteroids that lurk near the Sun can only be observed during twilight — when the Sun is just about to rise or set. If these 'twilight' asteroids approach Earth, they could pose serious impact hazards."

Asteroids like 2025 SC79 are definitely worth keeping an eye on. To put its 2,300-foot diameter in context, the so-called "city-killer" asteroid 2024 YR4 discovered earlier this year is only around 180 feet (55 meters) wide, and that has the potential to release 500 times more energy than the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima if it were to hit Earth (don't worry, it almost certainly won't).

Sheppard discovered 2025 SC79 using the Dark Energy Camera on the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Blanco 4-meter telescope. The asteroid's existence was then confirmed with observations from the NSF's Gemini telescope and Carnegie Science's Magellan telescopes, according to the statement.

This is the second super speedy asteroid spotted by Sheppard and his colleagues in recent years, having also discovered the fastest known asteroid in 2021. That object, named 2021 PH27, orbits the sun in 113 days, making it just 15 days quicker than 2025 SC79. The only object in the solar system with a faster orbital period is the planet Mercury, which completes an orbit of the sun in 88 days.

2025 SC79's orbit has now taken it behind the sun, so it won't be visible for several months. Researchers will attempt further observations in the future to learn more about the object, which is ultimately another piece of the galactic puzzle that helps astronomers understand how our solar system and its potential asteroid-shaped threats evolved.

"Many of the Solar System's asteroids inhabit one of two belts of space rocks, but perturbations can send objects careening into closer orbits where they can be more challenging to spot," Sheppard said. "Understanding how they arrived at these locations can help us protect our planet and also help us learn more about Solar System history."

It looks like it could have been laid yesterday.

But believe it or not, this dinosaur egg, recently unearthed in Argentina, dates back 70 million years.

The ancient egg was discovered in Rio Negro in Patagonia and has left experts around the world stunned.

While it appears remarkably similar to an ostrich egg, it was likely laid by a member of the Bonapartenykus genus – a small, carnivorous therapod that prowled the region during the late Cretaceous period.

Although dinosaur eggs have been found in the area before, one this well preserved is rare.

It may even contain embryonic material, according to the archaeology team – who plan to carry out in–depth scans to find out. 

'It was a complete and utter surprise,' Gonzalo Muñoz, from the Bernardo Rivadavia Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences, told National Geographic.

'It's not uncommon to find dinosaur fossils, but the issue with eggs is that they are much less common.'

He explained that eggs from carnivorous dinosaurs are especially rare for several reasons.

'First, there are fewer carnivores than herbivores,' he said. 'But apart from that, their eggs are more avian–like since the carnivorous dinosaur lineage is the one that will give rise to birds.

'Therefore, they're going to be more delicate eggs, with much thinner shells more prone to destruction.

'Finding those types of eggs are more difficult. That's why this discovery is so exceptional and spectacular.'

The egg, along with other findings from the site, will be sent to the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences to be studied.

He said he hopes the egg contains an embryo, but in–depth scans will be needed to determine if there is anything inside.

If traces of a developing dinosaur are found, it would mark one of the most important paleontological breakthroughs in South American history and provide new detail about how dinosaurs developed and hatched.

The Cretaceous Expedition I also uncovered mammal teeth and snake vertebrae, indicating the site was once a nesting ground.

A video taken at the site shows group leader Federico Agnolín stumble across the egg, which appeared to be resting on the surface of the dusty ground.

His excitement is palpable as he realises he has come across such a well–preserved specimen.

Other, broken eggs can also be seen in the vicinity, w=ith fragments held up to the camera.11

The caption on the video, shared to Instagram, reads: 'This is quite possibly the first discovery of its kind in South America.

Just three miles from the Giza Pyramids lies a mysterious site known as Zawyet El Aryan, nicknamed Egypt's Area 51, sealed off by the military for decades.

Archaeologist Alessandro Barsanti first excavated the site in the early 1900s, uncovering a colossal T-shaped pit carved into solid limestone, nearly 100 feet deep and lined with massive granite blocks. 

At the center of one chamber sits an oval vat with a fitted granite lid, which Barsanti reported contained traces of an unknown substance, now lost.

Many Egyptologists believe the site was intended as a pyramid that was never completed, though no superstructure was ever built above the pit. 

The site's true purpose remains a mystery, but graffiti discovered inside includes the word 'Seba,' interpreted by some researchers as the ancient Egyptian term for a 'gateway to the stars.' 

Independent researcher Derek Olsen discussed the mysterious structure on the Matt Beall Limitless podcast, suggesting this could indicate the structure was built as a vessel for cosmic travel or spiritual ascension. 

The shaft and chambers' dimensions and construction, massive granite floors, smooth limestone walls, and a sealed central vat have fueled speculation about advanced or ceremonial purposes. 

The mystery deepened when the Egyptian military seized control of the site in the mid-1960s, blocking all modern excavations and tours and leaving Barsanti’s early photographs as the sole detailed record of the complex.

During Barsanti's original excavation, graffiti written in black and red ink was found on the walls, one inscription reading 'Seba-[unknown]-Ka.' 

While no one knows the full text or its meaning, it translates to 'star' and 'vital essence' or 'life force.' 

Olson believes it is the ancient Egyptian word for 'gateway to the stars,' suggesting the structure was built as a vessel for the ancient people to travel the cosmos.

However, mainstream scientists noted that it was likely the name of a builder or represented a figure of the time.

The T-shaped structure is carved directly into the natural bedrock, with walls that are smooth but were never covered with stones. 

The chamber at the end of the shaft was never completed, and only the floor was finished and covered with massive granite blocks, each measuring approximately 15 feet long and 8 feet thick, weighing up to 18,000 pounds.

The exact purpose remains a mystery, with many Egyptologists believing the site was the beginning of an unfinished pyramid complex from the 3rd or 4th Dynasties. 

While others think it served as an experimental foundation or ceremonial chamber that was never completed.

Olson explained that the massive granite blocks were moved to the site for the flooring. 

'Why would you need a 10-foot-tall granite block on the floor?' Beall asked, to which Olson said: 'Right, when it's naturally limestone [on the ground].' 

Olson added: 'How they fashion that the limestone walls are mindboggling.'

Beall quickly jumped in, saying: 'And why? What is the tub for? What would the original purpose of it be? Complete mystery, I guess, right?'

It was found sealed with a granite lid, suggesting it was intended to be a closed container. 

The archaeologists also claimed to have discovered a damaged dedication tablet bearing the name of King Djedefre, which could potentially link the pyramid to this Fourth Dynasty ruler.

 However, this tablet's authenticity and significance remain subjects of debate among scholars 

Olson highlighted similar ancient Egyptian structures with granite boxes, including the Great Pyramid, the Serapeum and the Saqqara pyramid. 

'We are seeing a theme of this huge granite floor and a lid-like structure,' he said.

Scientists baffled as interstellar visitor appears to reverse thrust before vanishing behind the sun

Astronomers tracking the mysterious interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS have revealed that the object has performed a dramatic tail reversal, now pointing away from the sun.

The change comes just months after Hubble Space Telescope images captured an unusual 'anti-tail,' a jet of particles streaming toward the sun instead of away from it.

New high-resolution observations from the Nordic Optical Telescope in the Canary Islands confirm that the anti-tail seen in July and August 2025 vanished and a new one formed in the opposite direction by September.

The shift occurred because the comet's dust and ice particles react differently to sunlight. 

Early on, large, slow-moving dust grains scattered light sunward, creating the anti-tail. But as 3I/ATLAS moved closer to the Sun, rising temperatures ejected more ice fragments and longer-lived dust particles, producing the tail that now points away.

Ground-based observations will be impossible through October as the object passes behind the Sun, hidden from Earth's view.

Researchers at the University of California and the University of Oslo found that 3I/ATLAS is shedding material at a rate proportional to the solar radiation striking its surface.

Meanwhile, NASA's space telescopes previously detected the comet losing about 330 pounds of material per second, made up of 87 percent carbon dioxide and nine percent carbon monoxide.

Harvard professor Avi Loeb and his colleague Eric Keto have developed a model that offers a possible natural explanation for the comet's strange behavior.

Their findings suggest that as 3I/ATLAS moves closer to the Sun, different types of ice on its surface sublimate, turning directly from solid to gas.

Farther from the sun, about 279 million to 372 million miles away, CO2 ice drives the unusual sunward jets. But as the comet gets nearer, water ice begins to dominate, changing how material is released and causing the tail to flip into the classic shape now observed.

Loeb shared the study in a Wednesday blog post, writing: 'The total amount of mass lost from 3I/ATLAS during July through October 2025 amounts to about two million tons. 

'This is less than 0.00005 of the comet's total mass, which is estimated at over 33 billion tons based on its stable trajectory.'

The gas cloud surrounding 3I/ATLAS could be produced by stripping away only a 1.6-inch-thick surface layer from a 3.1-mile-wide object, a ratio similar to the length of your palm compared to the length of Manhattan Island.

'Needless to say, we cannot infer the true nature of 3I/ATLAS from the skin layer it has shed so far,' Loeb added. 

'My colleague, Adam Hibberd, noted that if the object were an alien spacecraft slowing down, and the anti-tail represented braking thrust, this shift from anti-tail to tail would be entirely expected near perihelion.'

However, NASA and most scientists maintain that 3I/ATLAS is a natural comet, though one that originated outside our solar system.

Unlike the first interstellar visitor ʻOumuamua, which showed no signs of gas or dust, and the second, 2I/Borisov, which behaved like a normal comet, 3I/ATLAS displays unique features, including its anti-tail, extreme color changes, and a massive surrounding coma.

'As the surface of 3I/ATLAS is exposed to at least 33 gigawatts of solar radiation at perihelion, observations during its closest approach to Earth on December 19, 2025, will offer the most important clues about its nature,' Loeb said. 'If it continues to show all the features of a natural comet, that will confirm its origin.'

The Harvard professor issued a chilling warning as the object was set to move behind the sun on Tuesday.

The object, dubbed 3I/ATLAS, will be exactly on the opposite side of the sun relative to Earth, constituting a so-called `solar conjunction,' tomorrow, which Avi Loeb said would be 'an opportune time for technological action.'

Loeb explained that in space travel, the best time to speed up or slow down a spacecraft is when it's closest to a large object, since firing the engine at that point, known as the Oberth effect, gives the biggest change in speed.

'If 3I/ATLAS is a massive mothership, it will likely continue along its original gravitational path and ultimately exit the Solar system,' the professor shared in a Sunday blog post.

'In that case, the Oberth maneuver might apply to the mini-probes it releases at perihelion towards Solar system planets.'

3I/ATLAS will reach its best window for such Oberth maneuvers just eight days after it slips behind the sun, which will put it the closest to the sun at about 126 million miles away, he added.

While Loeb has floated the idea that 3I/ATLAS could be of extraterrestrial origin, NASA has long maintained that the object is simply a comet from a distant galaxy.

However, that conclusion has not stopped Loeb from calling for more data before the case is closed.

NASA has quietly made a major move to defend the planet after the mysterious interstellar object displayed more strange and unexplainable behavior.

The supposed comet, dubbed 3I/ATLAS, has just been added to the list of threats tracked by a United Nations-endorsed group focused on planetary defense against near-Earth objects.

The International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) works alongside institutions across the world that detect, track, and study near-Earth objects (NEOs) to assess potential impact threats to Earth.

3I/ATLAS is the first interstellar object ever added to the list, triggering a worldwide drill aimed at improving detection skills for space rocks and preparing Earth for a potential incoming threat.

On Tuesday, officials with IAWN admitted that the object was causing 'unique challenges' for predicting its trajectory and decided to add 3I/ATLAS to the Comet Astrometry Campaign. 

The object has displayed several unusual features that defy the typical behavior of comets, including an 'anti-tail,' a jet of particles that points toward the Sun rather than away from it. 

According to the release, scientists will be running a special training exercise from November 27, 2025, to January 27, 2026. 

Telescopes and tracking systems around the world will focus on 3I/ATLAS to refine methods for pinpointing its exact location in the sky.

The Daily Mail reached out to NASA on Wednesday, but the agency maintained that the entire space program is 'currently closed' due to the ongoing government shutdown and did not comment further.

It is part of IAWN, along with the likes of the European Space Agency, which are all helping to organize this as a team effort to keep Earth safe from nearby asteroids and comets.

NASA isn't launching rockets to defend the planet from 3I/ATLAS, with the announcement treating this major event more like a tip-sharing exercise for stargazers everywhere to take better pictures of the supposed comet.

While scientists claimed they do not plan to begin the worldwide watch party until late November, 3I/ATLAS is just days away from making its closest approach to the sun, slipping out of view. 

Harvard scientist Avi Loeb has theorized that this shocking 'maneuver' is a telltale sign of a spacecraft using the gravity of a large star to change its speed and course. 

Before its recent strange behavior near the sun, 3I/ATLAS was scheduled to make its closest pass by Earth in December, but skeptics claim that activating the planetary warning system is proof that government officials fear this is no harmless comet.

Whether it's a comet or something sent by an intelligence elsewhere in the galaxy, astronomers have concluded that it could be gigantic, with a diameter of more than 28 miles.

'If 3I/ATLAS is a massive mothership, it will likely continue along its original gravitational path and ultimately exit the Solar system,' Loeb shared in a Sunday blog post.

The professor has previously suggested that 3I/ATLAS could be a nuclear-powered craft after the Hubble Space Telescope revealed a picture that appeared to show the object generating its own light this summer.

During its closest pass by Mars on October 3, space probes sent back images which seemed to suggest that 3I/ATLAS was a giant cylindrical object coated in nickel, causing it to glow green.

This has fueled even more speculation that the comet is an extraterrestrial probe, as human spacecraft use nickel in the same way to protect them from super-hot rocket exhaust.

Top secret military firm confesses to sparking New Jersey drone hysteria that left America on edge

A private firm contracted by the United States military has taken responsibility for the mysterious objects seen flying above New Jersey last November.

The sightings sparked mass hysteria and concerns over the existence of UFOs after footage went viral of unidentified objects lighting up the night sky.

But a private contractor revealed at the Army's UAS and Launched Effects Summit at Fort Rucker in August that they had launched the objects to 'test out their capabilities,' according to NYPost.

'You remember that big UFO scare in New Jersey last year? Well, that was us,' an employee of the unnamed contractor allegedly told a crowd at the event.

According to a source at the summit, the employee went on to claim there was no need to disclose their work to the public because they had a private government contract.

The company reportedly offered a live demonstration of their manned aerial craft, which had an unconventional appearance.

Sharing details of the demonstration, which went for about 30 minutes above Fort Rucker in the controlled airspace, the source said:  'When it turned you almost completely lose sight of it.

'Which is why I think people were seeing this up in the sky and why there were reports of people seeing it and saying it disappeared.'

In a short 13 second clip posted to social media in November 2024, a white light blinked in the sky before suddenly vanishing, leaving onlookers stunned. 

In the footage, which was shot close near Atlantic City, family members were heard discussing what they witnessed before the object suddenly disappears.

'It just vanished!' one said. 'I just watched it through the telescope.'

Some 964 sightings of flying objects were logged in the state between November 19 up until December 13, according to statistics collected by the state’s Office of Emergency Management.

Former CIA operations officer Laura Ballman had warned that the drones lighting up multi-state skies may be a 'classified exercise.' 

She told Fox News Live that the drone sightings were 'extremely unsettling,' and shared her theory that they may be part of a technology 'test' orchestrated by the federal government. 

Ballman said: 'Now in terms of who is behind this, seeing the statements that have been made by John Kirby, who has said that these objects are not operating illegally.

'Coupled with the several op-eds that have been out there in the last 24 hours about the need to look at our detection systems, [it] makes me think perhaps this is actually a classified exercise to test either evasion technology or detection technology in urban areas.'

White House National Security spokesman John Kirby had confirmed the aircraft were not foreign.

'We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,' Kirby said.

'The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are investigating these sightings, and they're working closely with the state and local law enforcement to provide resources using numerous detection methods to better understand their origin.'

He said the agencies used 'very sophisticated electronic detection technologies' but  'have not been able to corroborate any of the reported visual sightings.'

'To the contrary, upon review of available imagery, it appears that many of the reported sightings are actually manned aircraft being operated lawfully,' he said.
