You said that God is constantly correcting us, but not cruelly, but full of love and not too strongly.
I had an example in my own life, just today, only one hour ago. A person had told false stories about me and I was bitterly hurt by it. When a good friend came today I told him everything to give vent to relieve my feelings.
But this afternoon I heard a sermon from Matthew 5 v 38: "I ( Jesus ) tell you. Do not resist an evil person If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also". The pastor said: "You should see this spiritually. If somebody is hurting you by gossip, don't try to justify yourself. Pray for him, love him all the more . Leave the thing to God. He knows every situation perfectly....and God will do what is necessary for all parties."
And then I saw, what I had done wrongly. I should not have told these things in a wider circle to justify myself. I should have left this to God. And I immediately telephoned the person to whom I had told the story. He said, all things would be secret. I am sure he is going to pray for me.
And now I have learnt a lesson, which I should have learnt long before, which I knew long before, but probably had forgotten.. And so the Lord is educating me from day to day.
