sends us a very good article about being faithful. He ends with three questions: 1) Are you faithful in your ministry and service for the Lord? (2) If not start today to faithfully serve and obey Him in the place where He has placed you. (3) Above all, trust God to bless you in His time, in His way, and according to His plan!
My answer: To 1: I can say through the grace of the Lord: yes. As for 2: it is not so easy if you are no faithful servant of the Lord to start all of a sudden as a faithful servant. In my 87 years, I have observed in myself, that always there was the danger to lose your enthousiasm and to become less faithful. But I always prayed for the assistance of God the Holy Spirit and I have seen, that when he came into my life and told me more and more about the importance of our dear Lord Jesus, I succeeded in staying deeper with the Lord.
So this is, what I should like to say to you all: "In times, when you only have the slight idea of the danger for you of 'sliding back', pray the Lord for this glorious assistance, as you see it written among others in Acts 8, 10 and 19 and you will be blessed with a great force to make you permanent faithful.
as for 3: and then you also get a better insight in Gods plan with you. 'Through the inhabitance of the Holy Spirit with all his gifts, 1 Corinth. 12 v 8 ,10) and all his fruit, (Galatians 5 v 22) God prepares you to grow to the likeness of his Son, (Romans 8 v 26) and at last even to the likeness of himself, ( Rev. 21 v 9).
