"The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed it into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough".
The evangely Jesus brought and what was worked out by his apostles, in special by Paul, is a ' new yeast'. We , in our countries do not know so much about 'yeast'. Our bakers use 'barm', which has a milder working, does not make the bread just a bit 'sour'. But in the old times yeast was flour that was set apart for some time. And then, under the working of organisms it got a quality, that flour, where you put it in began to raise and became more 'light' and more fit for consumption. There was 'old yeast'. After a year you had to put it away, because it was spoiled by then. But there was also 'new yeast', which was fresh. And now the Lord means this. ................. You, who love me ,...you have done with 'the old yeast of badness' and I have given to you the 'new yeast of goodness'. Use this ' new yeast' and mix in in all your conversations and in general your total being in this world . That little bit 'new yeast 'of yours is so strong, that - so to say- you can prepare bread for a big familie, ( forty liters). ............................ And this is a message for you , my dear listeners and readers. You did receive a splendid evangely from Lord Jesus. Not only.... - that all persons, believing by heart in his 'taking over' of their sins, are now in a position of righteousness with the Lord God - no....the way to the kingdom of heavens is open. If you read the bible with reverence and friendly attention and a faithful heart , you will be reborn - and when you are baptized with the Holy Spirit with all his gifts and fruit ...from a baby in God's kingdom you grow up to a man . - and ...the sky is the limit.
And you my brothers and sisters , have this 'new yeast' in your mind and in your mouth and in your deeds. Bring it into the world and the whole world will be blessed.
