My loves,

About a year ago I observed a newcomer in the congregation, a shy , rather young woman, who sat in the side wing of the hall, just a bit apartly.
I greeted her and asked, what I alread had determined, owing to my knowledge of faces, whether she were from else.. After some talks....
we were early and the meeting had not yet begun, I asked her , why there was a gloom of sadness , sprinkled over her total personality. I added, that I had much seen this gloom at people , coming from very orthodox churches, as we have them up ours, where they always talk about mysery and lack of sureness in God and struggle and doubt in the heart and a copper heaven, not to penetrate...
do you kow such people at yours ?
....and that kind of things, so absolute far from Romans 5 v 1:
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God througfh our Lord Jesus Christ
2: through whom we have gained access by faith into the grace, in which we now stand"
But she said, she came right from 'the middle of the world' and so I was perhaps wrong.

I had some further talks with her , but did not succeed in taking that gloom from her.

But later on I some some young ladies around her, .....
you know these girls 'of the Lord' with 'heaven in their eyes'.

I saw our new guest in this blessed company and she began to smile and the sad gloom disappeared already a little bit.

And now she has already a simple task in the congregation at the book- table and last sunday she looked at me, when I was talking to other people and all the melancholy, the cheerlesness had totally disappeared.

I marked, that other members of the congregation had touched a function in her brain, which I could not touch. And I thanked the Lord, that he has given so many different talents at ours.

Now our congregation is a congregation quite normal. Such glorious things can happy everywhere, also at yours.
