Instant Credibility
The Flint Township report explains how Robert Nolan, MUFON’s assistant state director and chief investigator for the state of Michigan, believes that Denzel Washington's sighting of an unidentified flying object deserves to be investigated. He says that the report gets “instant credibility” because Mr. Washington called police in addition to reporting his experience to MUFON.
“"It definitely says something about the credibility of a witness,"” Mr. Nolan reportedly stated. “"A lot of people (avoid calling police). People feel like their report a lot of the time is being completely dismissed."”
In a story published last week, Mr. Washington described what happened in the following way:
“Something as long as five cars, as wide as two vehicles hovered in the sky without making a noise and disappeared in the blink of an eye. Not just a light or a star ... like the entire ship, it disappeared without a sign or a trace."
Mr. Washington reportedly called 911, stating how he and his brother had first seen bright lights above the Rave Cinemas theater complex at about 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2012.
“When they came closer, Washington could make out the unidentified flying object, including its bluish-white exhaust, slammed on his brakes while still on the road, scrambled to take a picture with his phone and saw the object was gone.”

Mile High Mystery
Another top story discussed on UFOAM this past Monday concerned UFOs captured on videotape appearing over downtown Denver, Colorado. Russia Today’s recent coverage describes how “video clips of a fast-moving unidentified flying object over the Denver skyline have baffled Colorado residents and aviation experts, who are unable to explain the mysterious sightings.”
Fox31 KDVR Denver television’s exceptional news of this event demonstrated the editorial freedoms and resources extended to reporters during the October 25 - November 21, 2012 Nielsen sweeps.
One source describes how Nielsen Media Research processes “approximately 2 million paper diaries from households across the country for the months of November, February, May, and July—also known as the "sweeps" rating periods.”
In other words, watch for more exceptional television UFO news in February, 2013.
Fox31’s coverage included an interview with an aviation expert, contact with the Federal Aviation Administration and the North American Aerospace Defense Command. The news team also sent a photojournalist, who, by using a broadcast camera (with an estimated minimum value of $20,000.00), was able to duplicate recordings of the type of phenomena initially reported by an anonymous witness.
The flying objects, which reportedly appear around noon or 1:00 p.m. at least a couple of times a week, are “flying too fast to see with the naked eye, but when we slowed down the video, several UFOs appear.”
Former commercial pilot Steve Cowell, who was consulted as an aviation expert by the station, gave his review of the videos, stating how “That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds, I can’t identify it.”
He also told the station how those objects are “not insects.”

What Were They Thinking?
With all of the reported UFOs continuing to make international news in recent weeks, serious thinkers remain baffled by claims from Britain’s Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena (Assap) that the incidence of what they describe as "significant UFO events" have “dropped notably over the past two decades.”
The Huffington Post’s recent coverage (of what could be described as laughably naïve remarks) cites ASSAP chairman, Dave Wood, who states that the lack of “overwhelming evidence of alien visitation to Earth” may signal [insert dramatic music] “the end of UFOlogy.”
“"The trends all seem to point in the direction of groups that have been into this are beginning to close down because of the reduction in the number of reports. The UFO reports that remain are much more prosaic in nature. Large numbers of them, for example, are of Chinese lanterns and things like that which are very easily explainable."”
Mr. Wood, on behalf of UFO videographers everywhere, please let this reporter suggest that our cameras today remain overwhelmed with instrumental data demonstrating that something of profound significance is taking place involving contact between humans and cosmic intelligences.
