Another unidentified object in the sky has been spotted flying over Las Vegas, weeks after a family claimed 10ft aliens with large shiny eyes were in their backyard and police footage filmed a strange light in the sky.  

Two beams of light can be seen in the sky, hovering next to one another in the new clip that was posted on social media. 

It was filmed on Wednesday, June 22, at 10.30pm over Las Vegas. The unidentified objects were in the sky for '20 minutes straight' according to the person who filmed it. 

A second local resident then posted an image of their view from Thursday night, showing two interlocking white circular beams of light in the sky.

Some people online speculated that it could have been the planet Venus lighting up the sky, but others claimed that it may be something else, considering the recent activity in Las Vegas. 

Over the weekend, a green fireball, believed to be a meteor, was spotted falling from the sky by residents in San Diego, Tucson, and Las Vegas.   

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas UFO mystery has deepened after police installed high-tech cameras outside the home where residents reported seeing '10ft aliens with large shiny eyes' in their backyard.

Doug Poppa, a former police officer who has been following the story of the mysterious object falling from the sky from April 30, said it baffled him why the Las Vegas Metro Police Department placed surveillance cameras outside.

He interviewed the family who made the call - and they told him that the cops installed the camera to 'protect' them from UFO fanatics who might bother them.

Despite being skeptical, Poppa, who is a podcaster, said he now believes the family is somewhat credible.

A Vegas officer’s body camera picked up the object at about 11:50pm on April 30, after a resident reported something '100 percent not human' on their property, local TV channel 8 News Now reported.

The footage shows a bright blue ball of light traveling through the dark sky at speed.

Approximately 39 minutes after the first call, another resident contacted 911, saying that there were two unknown entities in his backyard after he saw an object fall from the sky.

'There’s like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us [sic] and it has big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,' the homeowner told police in audio obtained by the TV channel.

During the initial 911 phone call about the alleged UFO and alien sighting, the caller said: 'In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified.

'They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100 percent not human,' he claimed.

The responding officers expressed their trepidation at the odd events.

'I’m so nervous right now,' one officer can be heard telling his partner.

'I have butterflies, bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.'

'I don’t believe in it but what I saw right now, I do believe in it,' one of the reported witnesses said to police.

The area of the alleged sighting was searched, and the witnesses interviewed, but no new information was found.

Now we need to give Rubio immunity for revealing the information to the public.

NASA's Perseverance Mars rover sent back a photo of a large dark stone with a hole in its center that looks like a donut but representatives of the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in Mountain View, California, say it is more likely part of a large meteorite which created similar other rocks of the same color scattered about nearby. A woman in Alton, Pennsylvania, reports walking her dog at 1 am and seeing a tall, dark creature with a white human face, glowing eyes and long black wings which it used to fly off – while some people suspect it was a Piasa Bird (a flying creature from Native American mythology), most think it was the Mothman and are predicting bad things will be happening soon just as they did in Point Pleasant in 1967. Richard Gere … call your agent.

WYDOT District 5 (Wyoming Department of Transportation ) in northwest Wyoming posted a U.S. Forest Service warning sign on its Facebook page cautioning residents to be on the lookout for Bigfoot and if confronted, follow some simple steps like don’t run from Bigfoot, don’t chase it, don’t yell at it and don’t feed it … but definitely take pictures of Bigfoot and send them in. It would be fitting if Bigfoot has its own warnings to not engage with humans unless they offer food.

The International UFO Lab in Fukushima City, Japan, released six photographs and videos that the group believes are highly likely to depict real UFOs – the photos and videos of round and triangular flying objects were taken from a total of 494 reports it received from people both in Japan and abroad over the past year and were the only ones which could not be explained as drones, birds, airplanes, bugs or other conventional objects. Isn’t it time the U.S., Japan and other countries collecting UFO evidence compared notes?

An article published in arXiv.org by European and American planetary scientists claims they have found evidence of large planets in the Oort Cloud on the far outer edge of the solar system, which could have been captured from other solar systems or even from our own after being thrown out during the early days of the formation of the other planets – but they don’t believe any of these are the hypothetical “Planet X” because they are too far away to affect the orbits of Uranus or Neptune. It’s a sad day in astronomy when the public doesn’t care unless the discovery is Planet X.

The mystery of the recent Las Vegas UFO and its 10-foot aliens has not been solved, and now a second UFO anomaly has occurred over the city – a video shows two lights over Vegas hovering next to each other on June 22 at 10.30 pm for “20 minutes straight” according to the witness. Visitors to Murphysboro, Illinois, can now see a life-size statue of the Big Muddy Monster, an 8-foot, 8-inch whit-furred Bigfoot-like cryptid which first emerged coved in mud from the Big Muddy River 50 years ago and became the town’s most famous cryptid and potential tourist attraction as it appeared numerous times and was investigated by the local police. Scientific teams in Australia, the US, Europe, China, and India simultaneously released papers announcing they have independently found a signal in the timing of flashing stars called pulsars that points to giant, long-wavelength gravitational waves which are the low-pitch background hum of the universe - this is not a detection of gravitational waves yet but the closest evidence so far. Is it just a hum or is it the music of alien gravitational wave surfers?

Paleoanthropologist Briana Pobiner of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History led a team performing a detailed, 3D analysis of cuts on a leg bone belonging to a mysterious human relative who lived in what is now Kenya 1.45 million years ago and found they made by stone tools and suggest the maker was cutting flesh from the bone so they could eat it – which would make this the earliest known evidence of hominins eating other hominins in what we now call cannibalism. There was no evidence to indicate what fermented grape drink they ate with it.

A new fictional movie about a billionaire’s search for the Loch Ness monster ran into technical difficulties while filming and the director ended up going 50 miles away and using Loch Awe and Portsonachan instead of Loch Ness and Inverness-shire. Will Nessie be played by Loch Awe logs?

British UFO hunter John Mooner released photos of a UFO flying over the Devon countryside and he claims the pictures show an “alien flying saucer” with “two black rectangular windows on the dome portion of the craft and four black openings along the bottom part of its structure" and he also saw “some type of force field emanating around it” – evidence which convinced abductee Mooner that “the alien presence is real” and “we are not alone.” Will Senator Rubio (see above) accept the photos even though Mr. Mooney is not a registered Florida voter?

A study by Doris Arzoumanian at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan proposes that isotope ratios found in meteorites indicate a nearby supernova exploded while our solar system was forming but it was prevented from being destroyed in the blast by a filament of molecular gas which formed a birth cocoon around the early solar system. We saw Birth Cocoon open for Iron Butterfly.

A new study of a prayer book found at Wormsley Library near High Wycombe found etchings in the margins that were drawn by King Henry VIII in the final years of his life and suggest the king was worried about killing off his wives and wondered if he would be forgiven when he died. The doodles also indicate he should have spent more time in art class and less in beheading class.

Dutch archaeologists have discovered a 4,000-year-old sanctuary made of ditches and burial mounds in the central Netherlands which they believe served the same ritual purpose as Stonehenge in southern England because the wooden and soil structure, which was big as at least three soccer fields, was aligned  with the sun on the solstices and contained animal skeletons, human skulls and valuable items at key viewing locations. Get ready for stores in Amsterdam to start selling chocolate henges.

It seems like every lake has a monster and visitors at Lake Payette in McCall, Idaho, posted videos of what they claim is Sharlie the Lake Monster, which was first seen in 1920 by a railroad logging crew which thought it was a giant log until it moved; in 1944, a group of people near the Narrows saw a creature they claimed was 35 feet long, with a dinosaur-type head and humps like a camel … the latest video shows a wake and something trying to rise out of the water. The creature is also called Slimy Slim, which sounds more like a jerky snack sold at the Lake Payette convenience store.

The lost ancient Maya city of Ocomtúnhas has been found deep in the Balamkú ecological reserve in Campeche, Mexico, where "pyramidal structures" up to 49 feet (15 meters) high were spotted by researchers using airborne laser scanning (LiDAR) and then located by researchers cutting their way through the jungle - Ocomtún means "stone column" in the Yucatec Maya language and the city was named for the columns found there which may have been part of entrances to upper floors of the Maya buildings surrounding the plazas. How does one lose a pyramid? (Asking for a friend who never has his keys or remote control.)

The Eslabón Perdido (Missing Link) research group has discovered the 260-foot-long wreck of a German U-Boat off the coast of Argentina which it claims could be evidence that Adolf Hitler escaped Berlin near the end of World War II and traveled to Latin America - the Simon Wiesenthal Centre is now calling on the Argentine government to release more information on the finding and end its “suspicious” silence which has many believing it is hiding what could be evidence that would rewrite history and also show it helped the Nazis after the war. To paraphrase Edwin Starr: War … what is it good for? Printing new history books … say it again.

Didier Archimbaud, a farmer in Saint-Babel, France, recently found a huge 3,000 square meter crop circle drawn in his wheat field which attracted curious visitors and cause a crop circle specialist to liken it to a UFO and, but to the farmer it was “the work of a little joker who had fun.” That may be one of the few times farmers in England agree with a Frenchman.

Police in Istanbul were called in when a private security guard working at the petrol station watched a crow down directly in front of him and drop a severed human index finger and a severed thumb on the ground – the incident has prompted an investigation into what may be a homicide. This should make it easier to remember that a group of crows is called a “murder.”

Another stereotype bites the dust as a new study of hunter-gatherer societies around the world found that 79% contained women who were hunters, they continued to hunt even after they became mothers, they had a variety of efficient hunting tools, more than 70% of female hunting expeditions were classified as "intentional" rather than opportunistic killings which occurred while gathering plants, and everyone in their community accepted them as hunters. Maybe it’s time to reconsider women’s football and male cheerleaders.

Archaeologists in Pompeii have discovered a still-life fresco of a Mediterranean meal from the time just before the 79 CE eruption of Mount Vesuvius that looks like it has a pizza on a tray – except pizza wasn’t invented until the 1800s so researchers think this was a flat focaccia which may have been covered with dried fruits like pomegranates and dates, spices and a pesto. Pizza with pomegranates? All of a sudden, pizza with pineapple doesn’t sound so bad.

For those who believe octopuses are aliens or at least highly intelligent beings, researchers from the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) watched octopuses (Octopus laqueus) sleep and noticed they had short bursts of sudden frenzied activity where their arms and eyes twitched, their breathing rate quickened, and their skin changed colors – changes that normally occur when they are awake and suggest the octopuses were going through rapid eye movement (REM) sleep and were probably dreaming just like humans do. Well, not quite like humans do – they’re probably not dreaming of sushi bars.

ESA Euclid: What You Need to Know About This Dark Energy Mission

ESA’s Euclid spacecraft will chart 10 billion light-years of cosmic history.

On July 1, the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Euclid spacecraft will launch on a mission to explore the very essence of the universe.

Euclid will spend six years learning the positions, shapes, and distances of more than a billion galaxies across more than one-third of the night sky. Euclid is more than a decade in the making. Its designers have calibrated the fresh spacecraft to map material strewn across space and time, providing an insight into the enigma of dark energy and dark matter.

Light has a finite speed. Photons from distant galaxies take longer to reach Euclid than the light from closer objects. Farther light is older light, revealing things as they once were. Euclid will take advantage of this. It will observe galaxies out to 10 billion light-years ago, and this, ESA officials say, will result in “the largest, most accurate 3D map of the universe.”

Space is littered with clues about how galaxies interact with each other, how they evolve, how they’ve grown apart, and how they stay together.

Euclid will siphon a plethora of light from space at a distant orbit around Earth. Mission data may aid cosmologists in their quest to better grasp the unseen universe and to derive a more precise measurement for the universe’s puzzling outward acceleration.

This phenomenon is a likely byproduct of the mysterious realms at the heart of Euclid’s mission. Dark matter binds galaxies and galaxy clusters together, while dark energy powers the universe’s speedy outward reach.

“Dark energy and dark matter reveal themselves by the very subtle changes they make to the appearance of objects in the visible universe,” Euclid project scientist René Johannes Laureijs said during an ESA Euclid press conference held on Friday. “Otherwise we don’t know about them. They must show somewhere.”

“And it’s very subtle, otherwise they would have been discovered earlier. Euclid wants to measure dark energy and dark matter with unprecedented high precision and accuracy,” he added.

WHAT IS COSMOLOGY?

The Euclid mission is linked to cosmology, a branch of astronomy that deals with understanding why space is the way it is, how it emerged, and where it’s headed.

At the moment, cosmologists predict that 95 percent of the universe is “something that is totally unknown to us,” ESA cosmologist Guadalupe Canas Herrera said on Friday. About 25 percent is thought to be dark matter, and 70 percent is dark energy.

Cosmology is heavy on theory. But Canas Herrera said that, at its heart, cosmology is an experimental science where observations are compared to theoretical models. Euclid’s data may prove existing predictions, or improve them, she added.

WHAT IS THE EUCLID MISSION?

Though dark matter cannot be seen, it distorts the appearances of galaxies through lensing. Dark energy is also observationally evasive, but Euclid’s 3D map will trace the progression of the night sky over grand timescales, and reveal the hand of dark energy.

In order to get a third of the sky survey in six years, Euclid is optimized to take images that are sharp, as well as larger than what other observatories like the Hubble Space Telescope could achieve in the same timescale, Laureijs said.

Euclid carries two scientific instruments onboard: The Visible Instrument (VIS) and the Near-infrared spectrometer and photometer (NISP). All in all, the mission will result in about one million images, 12 billion sources across 10 billion years, and the distribution of 1.5 billion galaxies, Yannick Mellier, leader of the Euclid Consortium of scientists, said on Friday.

The Euclid team expects to get the first data later this year. The data will be released publicly during three periods, Mellier added. The first two releases will happen in 2025 and 2027, with the final one in 2030.

WHAT IS DARK ENERGY AND DARK MATTER?

In 1998, a supernova observation first revealed to scientists that, instead of decelerating, the universe was actually expanding faster and faster.

This new observation was a puzzle. Astronomers had previously thought the expansion triggered by the Big Bang would slow down over time, as things we can see typically do. The existence of a force called dark energy could explain the acceleration. As NASA explains, dark energy is perhaps inherent to space itself, and since there is more space now than there was in the past, there might be more of this force around to make the universe expand faster.

Euclid could offer a new level of accuracy in the measurement, plus show if the acceleration varied throughout the history of the universe.

As Caltech explains, in the early 20th century, astronomers pinpointed the speeds at which certain galaxies were rotating. Mass and gravity are related entities, and by looking at the visible matter alone, the galaxies were spinning much too fast to remain intact. Something unseen was thought to be at play, preventing them from flying apart. The same is true for clusters, or groups of galaxies that somehow have extra hidden mass to stay bound together.

WHEN WILL EUCLID LAUNCH?

In order to help constrain the dynamics of how the universe behaves, Euclid must launch into a prime observational spot, located in space.

To get there, the 15-foot-tall spacecraft will launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket no earlier than 11:11 a.m. Eastern on July 1. It will travel on a weeks-long journey to a gravitationally-stable perch about a million miles from Earth, called Lagrange point 2 or L2.

“Very important for Euclid is that the L2 orbit provides the best observing environment,” Laureijs said on Friday. “L2 also enables us to see the whole sky… it’s an ideal place for a mission like Euclid to have more than one-third of the sky viewed with extremely stable conditions.”

Around October, after setting up its systems and properly cooling down, Euclid will commence its investigations of the unseen universe.

“It’s like a choir, with all these supermassive black hole pairs chiming in at different frequencies,” said scientist Chiara Mingarelli, who worked about 190 other scientists with the NANOGrav (North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves). “This is the first-ever evidence for the gravitational wave background. We’ve opened a new window of observation on the universe.”

The observatories use the combined power of several radio telescopes. In the US and Canada, the NANOGrav observatories include the now destroyed Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia, and the Very Large Array in New Mexico. This collaboration collected data from 68 pulsars, to effectively form to form a huge type of detector called a pulsar timing array. Astronomers now announced they have found the first evidence of a consistent background hum of long-wavelength gravitational waves that fills the cosmos.

Also reporting similar results is the European Pulsar Timing Array (EPTA), in collaboration with Indian and Japanese colleagues of the Indian Pulsar Timing Array (InPTA). Observatories there include the Effelsberg Radio Telescope in Germany, the Lovell Telescope of the Jodrell Bank Observatory in the United Kingdom, the Nançay Radio Telescope in France, the Sardinia Radio Telescope in Italy and the Westerbork Radio Synthesis Telescope in the Netherlands.

For this collaboration, 25 years of observing 25 pulsars revealed the gravitational waves with wavelengths much longer than those seen by other experiments.

“Pulsars are actually very faint radio sources, so we require thousands of hours a year on the world’s largest telescopes to carry out this experiment,” said Dr. Maura McLaughlin of West Virginia University and co-Director of NANOGrav, in a press release.  “Now, [our] pulsar observations are showing the first evidence for the presence of gravitational waves, with periods of years to decades.”

“We are incredibly excited that after decades of work by hundreds of astronomers and physicists around the world, we are finally seeing the signature of gravitational waves from the distant Universe.,” said Dr. Michael Keith, from the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at The University of Manchester, in another press release. “The results presented today mark the beginning of a new journey into the Universe to unveil some of its unsolved mysteries.

The gravitational wave detections we’ve been reporting on since 2015 by the ground-based LIGO (the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory) and Europe’s Virgo detector are fleeting, high-frequency gravitational waves. A longer, low-frequency signal could be perceived only with a detector much larger than the Earth. By studying the pulsars, astronomers essentially turned our sector of the Milky Way Galaxy into a huge gravitational-wave antenna.  

Pulsars are the ultra-dense remnants of the cores of massive stars following their demise in a supernova explosion. Pulsars spin rapidly, sweeping beams of radio waves through space so that they appear to “pulse” when seen from the Earth. The fastest of these objects, called millisecond pulsars, spin hundreds of times each second. Their pulses are very stable, and astronomers can use them as precise cosmic timepieces.

Supermassive black holes are thought to reside at the centers of the largest galaxies in the Universe. When two galaxies merge, the black holes from each end up orbiting each other as a binary system long after the initial galaxy merger. Eventually, the two black holes will unite. In the meantime, their slow dance around each other stretches and squeezes the fabric of space-time, generating gravitational waves that emanate out like ripples in a pond.

Since they are long-lasting, the gravitational-wave signals from these gigantic binaries are expected to overlap, like voices in a crowd or instruments in an orchestra, producing an overall background hum that imprints a unique pattern in pulsar timing data.

NANOGrav’s results were published in five papers in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, while papers appeared in other journals from the European, Australian, Indian and Chinese pulsar timing arrays.

The NANOGrav papers report a “strong evidence” of these long, low-frequency signals, reporting the detection at a 3.5- to 4-sigma level, which is less than the 5-sigma threshold that physicists usually want to claim a discovery. But a 4-sigma amplitude is better than the 3.5 sigma from the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) spacecraft on the cosmic microwave background (CMB). The scientists for NANOGrav say they have more than 99% confidence that the signal is real.

But to confirm these measurements, the researchers want to collaborate even further to expand the current datasets to create an International Pulsar Timing Array. This will use the power of an array consisting of over 100 pulsars, observed with thirteen radio telescopes across the world, combining more than 10,000 observations for each pulsar. This should allow the astronomers to obtain solid proof of having detected a pervasive background hum of gravitational waves.

15 jaar … zo lang hebben astronomen erover gedaan om voor het eerst ons universum te horen zoemen. Ze slaagden hierin door grote telescopen en dode sterren te gebruiken. Honderden wetenschappers van over heel de wereld hebben aan deze grote doorbraak meegewerkt. Maar wat hebben de wetenschappers nu precies ontdekt? Hoe hebben ze dat gedaan? En wat betekent dit voor ons? Wetenschapsjournalist Martijn Peters legt het uit.

Wat hebben ze ontdekt?

“De wetenschappers hebben zwaartekrachtgolven ontdekt”, begint Peters. “Om wat specifieker te zijn: ze hebben de echo’s ervan horen zoemen. Een soort achtergrond geluid van ons universum. Zo’n zwaartekrachtsgolf is een rimpel in de ruimtetijd die ontstaat bij enorm energetische en gewelddadige gebeurtenissen in ons heelal. Bijvoorbeeld het botsen van twee zwarte gaten. Je kan die botsing een beetje vergelijken met een steen in een vijver gooien. Die golven reizen dan doorheen ons universum met de snelheid van het licht.”

Albert Einstein voorspelde het bestaan van deze zwaartekrachtsgolven al in 1916, maar het duurde nog bijna 100 jaar voordat wetenschappers ze konden waarnemen en zo hun bestaan bewijzen. “In 2015 namen astronomen voor het eerst zo’n zwaartekrachtgolf waar. Wat is er dan zo nieuw aan deze ontdekking? Wel, dat was toen een zwaartekrachtgolf met een korte golflengte, slechts een paar duizenden kilometers lang. Makkelijker waar te nemen dus. Maar nu hebben ze het gezoem gehoord van zwaartekrachtsgolven die lichtjaren groot zijn, degene met een lange golflengte.”

Hoe zijn ze hierin geslaagd?

“Als je weet hoe gigantisch ons universum is, dan kan je jezelf afvragen waarom ons universum niet een constant gezoem is van zwaartekrachtsgolven veroorzaakt door allerlei zaken die erin plaatsvinden. Dat we dit niet kunnen waarnemen komt omdat onze aarde simpelweg te klein is. Je zal die zwaartekrachtgolven die lichtjaren groot zijn niet ontdekken met de instrumenten die we nu hebben.”

En dus kwamen de wetenschappers met een geniaal idee op de proppen. “Ze hebben gebruik gemaakt van dode sterren, pulsars. Dat zijn neutronensterren die razendsnel ronddraaien en daarbij licht uitzenden”, legt Peters uit. “Het zijn als het ware gigantische vuurtorens in onze melkweg waarvan je exact weet wanneer je een lichtflits mag verwachten. Maar wanneer zo’n rimpel in de ruimtetijd tussen ons en de pulsar in komt, dan zorgt dit plots voor een verandering in de tijdsduur van de flitsen.”

Virgin Galactic had tot nu toe alleen de ruimte bereikt met leden van het eigen bedrijf als passagiers. Tijdens de eerste commerciële vlucht waren er vier passagiers aan boord van de ‘VSS Unity’: twee hooggeplaatste officieren van de Italiaanse luchtmacht, een ingenieur van de Italiaanse Nationale Onderzoeksraad en een medewerker van Virgin Galactic. Er zaten ook twee piloten aan het stuur.

De missie, Galactic 01 genaamd, werd donderdag gelanceerd vanop de basis van Spaceport America, in de woestijn van de Amerikaanse staat New Mexico. De Italiaanse wetenschappers verzamelden gegevens voor een dozijn experimenten tijdens de korte vlucht. Tijdens de reis ervaarden de passagiers gedurende een kwartier gewichtloosheid. Daarna daalde het ruimtevaartuig naar benenden om op dezelfde plaats te landen.

Prijskaartje

De volgende commerciële lancering staat gepland voor begin augustus “met privéastronauten”, laat Virgin Galactic weten. Tickets voor de reis, die ongeveer anderhalf uur duurt, kosten volgens het bedrijf tussen de 250.000 en 450.000 dollar.

Bransons bedrijf is niet het eerste dat privéruimtereizen aanbiedt. Amazon-oprichter Jeff Bezos en zijn bedrijf Blue Origin hebben al verschillende passagiers naar de ruimte gestuurd. A newly-released Pentagon document offers a peek behind the curtain at how military officials reacted to a former employee going public about UFOs.

In December 2017, a front page New York Times story about a secret $22 million Pentagon UFO program went viral around the world. The main source in this article was Lue Elizondo, a former Department of Defense intelligence officer who had recently resigned. Elizondo claimed to have run this UFO program for nearly a decade.

Our previous reporting has revealed that this New York Times article was mostly wrong: Elizondo was not the director of a Pentagon UFO program. And the Pentagon didn’t even have a UFO program.

Confusing, right?

Well in 2017 when the New York Times story broke, senior officials at the Pentagon were also confused, scrambling to figure out just what the heck this Elizondo guy was talking about.

And that’s what this new document is. An accounting of how the Pentagon initially dealt with the UFO story.

It was acquired via a Freedom of Information Act request filed by John Greenewald. Greenewald is an expert in government documents and he runs the The Black Vault. The Black Vault contains millions of pages of government documents released via the Freedom of Information act.

Pentagon UFO whistleblower claims people have been killed by 'non-human intelligences' and says US government will do ANYTHING to protect the secret

The Pentagon whistleblower who claims the US has run a top secret UFO retrieval program for decades says some of the 'non-human intelligences' discovered are malevolent and have even killed humans. 

David Grusch served 14 years in the Air Force, where he says he was told about the program by others who were involved. 

Grusch, 36, is a decorated Afghanistan combat officer who went on to work for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). 

His role was to act as the NRO's representative when dealing with the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. The task force was specifically set up to investigate UFOs.

Over the last week, he has gone public with what he says it entailed, telling NewsNation about how the US is in an arms race with Russia and China to understand the extra-terrestrial life. 

In his most recent comments, he says the 'non human' intelligences have acted with malevolence - and even killed some humans. 

'I think the logical fallacy there is because they’re advanced, they’re kind. We’ll never really understand their full intent and that’s because we’re not them. 

'But I think what appears to be malevolent activity has happened. 

'That’s based on nuclear site probing activities and witness testimony. 

'While I can’t get into the specifics because that would reveal certain US classified operations, I was briefed by a few individuals on the program that there were malevolent events like that,' he said, when asked specifically if any had killed humans. 

Grusch also made the astonishing claim that the US government would do anything to protect the secret - including killing people itself. 

'At the very least, I saw substantive evidence that white-collar crime was committed...unfortunately. 

'I’ve heard some really un-American things I don’t want to repeat right now,' he said.

He claimed some of the UFOs discovered have been as large as football fields. 

Another military veteran also told DailyMail.com that his six man unit saw a hovering UFO being loaded with weapons while he was serving in Indonesia. 

Others say they have encountered aircraft that can distort space and time.  

Grusch filed his report in July last year. At the time, the Intelligence Community Inspector General called the complaint 'urgent and credible.' 

'There is a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the U.S. populace which is extremely unethical and immoral,' he said, accusing the US government of lying to the public for 'decades'. 

'We are most definitely not alone,' he said, adding that 'quite a number' of aircraft have been discovered. 

The Pentagon denied having any knowledge of the program described by Grusch last week, but said it would follow ongoing investigations into his claims 'wherever they lead'. 

The House Oversight Committee also says it will investigate his claims.

It's worth noting that Rubio referred to the whistleblower's claims as "credible and urgent," according to the oversight findings of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Additionally, multiple military, intelligence, and contractor officials have reportedly supported the claims that the U.S. government or private companies possess craft of possible non-human origin.

It is true that while there has been a growing interest and acknowledgment of the UFO phenomenon within official circles regarding the existence of undisclosed UFO-related programs, the process of full and transparent UFO disclosure remains uncertain. 

Meanwhile, on the 19th of June 2023, at the Teign Estuary, Devon England a photographer noticed something metallic-looking that came out from a cloud. 

According UFO Casebook, the photographer stated that it was a flying saucer, see image above, with two black rectangular windows on the dome portion of the craft and four black openings along the bottom part of its structure. some type of force field emanating around it and as the underside of the UFO pulsated with electric blue waves made him think that maybe this craft was using electrogravitic technology as its anti-gravitationally propulsion. 

He managed to capture an image of the UFO before it rotated and shot off into a nearby cloud at incredible speed. 

Although the UFO issue implemented at the highest level continues, the image of the UFO at Devon, England is further proof that these craft, whether of human or non-human origin, exist.

Fossils have long provided scientists with a glimpse at the diversity of past lifeforms on planet Earth. However, not everything can be preserved in fossil form; often delicate features like hair or plumage do not fossilized, which forces scientists to use their imaginations when it comes to envisioning how these animals looked.

Even less information is known about how many ancient animals moved, so scientists have to guess based on fossil evidence. But this may soon change with help from the field of robotics. In a recent paper, researchers at the University of Utah have created robotic ammonites to help determine how these ancient creatures once moved.

BACKGROUND: WHAT ARE AMMONITES?

Belonging to the Phylum Mollusca, these extinct marine invertebrates resemble a nautilus, complete with a spiral shell. Ammonites lived around 408-65 million years ago in Earth’s ancient seas, and because these creatures are related to cuttlefish, nautilus, octopus, and squid, their soft bodies did not fossilize well, leaving mainly their shells behind for scientists to study.

These shells have helped scientists date other fossils, as well as tell scientists the approximate locations of Earth’s ancient oceans. However, there are still mysteries surrounding these creatures, especially when it comes to how they moved and why their shells were such particular shapes. 

ANALYSIS: BUILDING ROBOTIC AMMONITES

To study ammonite movement, researchers at the University of Utah created robotic ammonites out of 3D-printed materials. The robots helped the researchers to better understand how the ammonites maneuvered through the water as well as the best shell shape for balanced movement. According to David Peterman, a postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Utah, “These results reiterate that there is no single optimum shell shape…My broader research goal is to provide a better understanding of these enigmatic animals, their ecosystem roles, and the evolutionary processes that shaped them.”

The researchers built three different robotic ammonites with designs based on nautilus shells and ammonite fossils. The three robots were tested in the water by doing laps. This helped the researchers see the pros and cons of each shell type. “Throughout their evolution, externally shelled cephalopods navigated their physical limitations by endlessly experimenting with variations on the shape of their coiled shells,” explained Peterman. This was illustrated in the differences in the fossils, as the spirals of the shells shifted into something similar to the ones we have today.

OUTLOOK: USING ROBOTS TO STUDY THE PAST

While this study helped the researchers to better understand the evolutionary process behind ammonite movement and shell shape, it also illustrated the utility of using robotics to study the past. Robotics can help to bring fossils to life, allowing scientists to better understand the possible movements of these ancient animals. With other advanced technology like AI and virtual reality (VR), recreating the past will be easier than ever.

AI is already helping us to determine our ancient human roots, and with the help of virtual reality, we are closing in on recreating lifelike representations of extinct animals like mammoths in a virtual setting. In the years ahead, such advances may prove to be key assets for scientists in the years ahead, who will now have access to a clearer idea of how these extinct animals once thrived on our planet.

John Lear, a controversial figure in the UFO community, claimed that the US government had a stash of at least a dozen alien spacecraft back in 1987. Interestingly, a more recent whistleblower, David Grusch, echoed a similar number of recovered crafts. Mars door een UV-bril: nog nooit zag onze rode planeet er zo buitenaards uit

We kennen Mars allemaal als de rode stoffige planeet met zijn witte poolkappen. Maar wat als we hem eens door een andere bril bekijken? Dat is exact wat de Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) ruimtesonde doet. Die bestudeert Mars door ernaar te kijken in ultraviolet. Het resultaat is Mars zoals je hem nooit gezien hebt: extra buitenaards.

De Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) ruimtesonde bevindt zich al sinds september 2014 in een baan rond Mars. Aanvankelijk zou de missieduur van MAVEN twee jaar zijn, maar ondertussen is die voor onbepaalde tijd verlengd omdat hij nog steeds in uitstekende staat verkeert. In de afgelopen negen jaar heeft de sonde al voor heel wat wetenschappelijke resultaten gezorgd.*

Het doel van MAVEN is om inzicht te krijgen in de atmosferische processen die plaatsvinden op Mars. Een van de instrumenten waarmee de ruimtesonde naar de planeet kijkt, maakt gebruik van een golflengte die onzichtbaar is voor het menselijk oog: ultraviolet (UV). Door gebruik te maken van UV kunnen we verschillende gassen zien en hoe die met elkaar reageren.

Hiermee heeft MAVEN bijvoorbeeld al vreemde aurora’s ontdekt die hoog boven Mars dansen in de atmosfeer. Daarnaast zag de ruimtesonde ook een onzichtbare gloed die ’s nachts in de lucht ontstaat door atomen die opnieuw samengaan nadat ze eerder tijdens de dag uit elkaar zijn gesplitst door zonlicht.

Nu heeft NASA nieuwe afbeeldingen vrijgegeven die drie ultraviolette golflengten laten zien, weergegeven als rood, groen en blauw. De twee afbeeldingen werden zes maanden na elkaar gemaakt en laten seizoensveranderingen in de atmosfeer van de planeet zien.

De eerste (zie hierboven), vastgelegd in juli 2022, toont het zuidelijk halfrond in de zomer, rond de tijd van de zomerzonnewende (en winterzonnewende voor het noordelijk halfrond). De atmosfeer lijkt redelijk helder, met wolken die de ravijnen vullen. De omvang van de zuidelijke poolijskap, zichtbaar in spierwit, bevindt zich op een dieptepunt in de zomer. Waterdamp kan je op zeer grote hoogte waarnemen, veroorzaakt door zomerhitte en stofstormen.

Het tweede beeldje maakte MAVEN zes maanden later, in januari 2023. De seizoenen op Mars zijn twee keer zo lang als de seizoenen op aarde, dus dat betekent dat de opname iets na de lente-equinox op het noordelijk halfrond is gemaakt.

Door het veranderen van de seizoenen zie je veel witte wolken rond het noordelijk halfrond en een opeenhoping van ozon die paars schijnt. Dit gas hoopt zich op in de atmosfeer in de koude nachten van de winter en verdwijnt tijdens de lente door te reageren met waterdamp. Die waterdamp is afkomstig van het poolijs dat door opwarming verdwijnt.

De sonde heeft al geweldige dingen bereikt in zijn tijd in een baan om Mars, en wetenschappers hopen dat hij nog lang blijft werken.

We don’t want things to end up like the Terminator movies and Skynet (Fictional synthetic intelligent machine network) taking over to eliminate us all.

Maybe still some of us would make it with survival skills or enough wealth to lay low in an underground bunker somewhere. Eventually though, what would the world look like from that point onward?

It makes you wonder about it all and what future we would have left. Will we need to fight to stay alive against the robots and artificial intelligence? Our worst fears might just come true. Let’s take action today to prevent such a future scenario.

Letter exposes top-secret reverse engineering UFO programs involving the Five Eyes Alliance

The release of a new document by investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, pertaining to an alleged multinational coordination of UFO/UAP reverse-engineering programs, has brought further attention to the UFO coverup. 

According to the document, a confidential letter, dated 22 March 2023, sent by a veteran Member of Parliament (MP) in Canada to the nation's Defense Minister, with specific details outlined regarding an ongoing program within the "Five Eyes" alliance (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand). This program supposedly aims to analyze and reverse-engineer exotic materials acquired from crashed UFOs. 

The letter, authored by MP Larry Maguire, (See article and video of Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp)  suggests that some of the materials being analyzed date back to the early 1950s. 

Isn't it a coincidence that in a short time frame (so-called) whistleblowers have come forward, like David Charles Grusch, the mainstream media continue to publish amazing stories about alien encounters, crashed UFOs, whatever, and now a letter is being released showing the existence of multinational coordination of UFO/UAP reverse engineering programs.

Interestingly, astronomers think Sgr A* black hole accretion disk was also actively snacking about 150 years earlier for a time before it quieted down again. They tracked another nearby cloud bathed in gamma rays from that event. That hints at periods of wakefulness and quiescence that they want to explain.

Tracking the Glow of a Supermassive Black Hole Snack

Marin and a team of colleagues studied the X-ray-brightened clouds from Sgr A*’s most recent snack using NASA’s Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE). It measures the polarization of X-rays (or the average direction and intensity of the electric field of light waves). The polarization angle acts very much like a compass, pointing toward the source of the illumination. It turns out that Sgr A* is right on the path, making it the source of the emissions.

The team combined their data with images from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory and compared them to data from the XMM-Newton mission. That helped them really pinpoint the origin of the emissions brightening the nearby clouds. Basically, when the black hole accretion disk gobbled up nearby material, there resulting X-ray emissions were more than a million times greater than usual. That made it as luminous as an active galactic nucleus in a Seyfert galaxy.

What Happens When Our Supermassive Black Hole Feasts

The Sgr A* black hole and its accretion disk lie embedded at the center of our galaxy. It lives in a busy place. Stars circle the black hole in various orbits. Occasionally a cloud of gas and dust flits by. Just as occasionally, Sgr A*’s intense gravitational pull sweeps up some of that material into its accretion disk. The material gets heated and eventually, that energizes it enough to give off X-ray emissions.

This snacking happens fairly often, but usually, the flares are very short-lived—some on the order of only minutes. Those may take place in very small regions of the accretion disk. But some, like the one 200 years ago, are longer and brighter. For that event, the cloud of material that got sucked into the accretion disk must have been fairly large to trigger the brilliant, long-term blast of X-rays.

Learning More About Sgr A*

Now that Marin and the team have pinpointed the source of those emissions, they want to know more about the large flare that emitted them. For example, when exactly did it occur? How intense was it at its peak? How long did it actually last? Follow-up observations should give some answers and also provide astronomers a three-dimensional view of the glowing clouds.

One of the biggest unanswered questions about such flares is: what causes them? Obviously, the infall of material plays a role. But, what else is going on with Sgr A* that would cause it to “wake up” and start eating its neighbors? “IXPE is playing a key role in helping us better understand the timescale on which the black hole at the center of our galaxy is changing,” said Steven Ehlert, Steven Ehlert, IXPE project scientist at NASA. “We know change can happen to active galaxies and supermassive black holes on a human timescale. We’re learning more about this one’s behavior over time, its history of outbursts, and we’re eager to observe it further to determine which changes are typical and which are unique.”

Sonifying Sgr A*’s X-ray Emissions

Obviously, Sgr A* went back to sleep after its year-and-a-half-long cloud snack at the beginning of the 19th century. But, the echoes of its “burp” toward the nearby molecular clouds provided astronomers with a unique opportunity. They combined images of Sagittarius A* from NASA’s Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer and Chandra X-ray Observatory and adapted them to sound. Essentially, they took the digital data from all the observations and translated it into musical notes and sounds. The original data would be too low for humans to hear, so the sounds were transposed into a region of sound that we can hear.

In this video, we see an arched line ripple across the image. As it passes over the orange-tinted IXPE data, sounds like digital winds are triggered, particularly where those orange areas are brightest. When the traveling line passes the blue-tinted Chandra data, the resulting notes resemble steel drums.

Aside from this sonification and the X-ray echo astronomers detected from Sgr A‘s outburst, there was no effect felt on Earth. That’s because Sgr A* lies some 26,000 light-years away from us. At that distance, we get a nice view of the long-ago action without any of the danger associated with a huge burst of X-rays.

Phaeton is an odd asteroid, just 6 kilometers across. It’s not icy, but it has been seen with a dusty tail, leading some to refer to it as a dusty comet. The reason it produces a trail is because of its dusty surface composition and the fact that Phaeton’s orbit takes it within 0.14 AU of the Sun, which is less than half the orbital distance of Mercury. When Phaeton makes its closest approach to the Sun, its surface is baked like a dry lake bed, causing a trail of dust.

Astronomers have assumed that the Geminid dust trail formed gradually as dust accumulated with each of Phaeton’s orbits, following the cometary process. But a new study finds this isn’t the case. Instead the team found the Geminids appeared rapidly.

They used data from the Parker Solar Probe, which measured the size and composition of Geminid dust particles as well as their relative speed and direction. The team then compared the observed data with three models: a “basic” model where particles were simply set along the orbital path, a cometary model which trickled particles into the debris path gradually, and a violent origin model, which assumed particles were released in a single burst.

Of the three models, the violent burst approach was the best fit to observations. This implies that the origin of the Geminids was not slow and steady, but rather due to an impact event where Phaeton was struck by a smaller asteroid. This model addresses one of the problems with the “dusty comet” model, which some argued isn’t sufficient to explain the strength of the Geminids. But there are still aspects this study doesn’t explain. The data and model aren’t precise enough to pin down a particular impact origin, only that an impact is the likely cause.

With all their beauty, the Geminids still hold a few mysteries.

Bill Cooper’s Unveiled Theory: A Staged Alien Invasion and The New World Order

Are you intrigued by unorthodox theories, covert operations, and notions of shadowy forces shaping the world as we know it? He argued that these conditions were intentionally orchestrated to unify the globe against a common, invented enemy. This enemy, as he stressed, would be a technologically superior extraterrestrial race.

The role of popular culture and mass media, according to Cooper, was crucial in making this global conspiracy a reality. He stated that the steady flow of movies and media content about flying saucers and alien invasions since the 1950s was all part of a scheme to convince the world’s population of an impending alien threat.

An international team of astronomers reports they have succeeded in detecting the fastest stars ever observed within the Milky Way galaxy.

The team, led by Kareem El-Badry, an astrophysicist at the Institute for Theory and Computation at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, reports the detection of a white dwarf, J0927, which they observed moving through space at an incredible 5.112 million miles per hour.

The discovery was reported in a paper published on the preprint arXiv website and is currently awaiting peer review.

In their paper, El-Badry, who specializes in the study of binary stars in the Milky Way, and his co-authors describe their research involving stellar bodies known as hypervelocity white dwarfs, which they characterize as “runaways” from Type Ia supernovae.

When a star collapses, the stellar body that remains is called a white dwarf, comprising a very small, dense star roughly the size of a planet. A Type Ia supernova occurs when a pair of stars–including a white dwarf–begin to orbit one another. As the white dwarf pulls the hydrogen away from its sister star, it produces the “runaway” effect that eventually results in a massive thermonuclear explosion.

According to their paper, the team reports that by searching for potential Type Ia supernovae candidates from Gaia data, there were six new runaway stars detected, including four that El-Badry and the team believe “are most likely the surviving donors from double-degenerate binaries in which the other [white dwarf] exploded.”

Four of the stars in the new collection are both hotter and are also much smaller than other known Type 1a supernovae, also known as “D6 stars.” Three of the stars possess primarily carbon atmospheres, while the other’s atmosphere is comprised mostly of helium.

“A significant population of fainter low-mass runaways may still await discovery,” El-Badry and his co-authors report, adding that the birth rate of these stars remains in question since astronomers remain uncertain about the lifetimes of D6 stars, as well as the amount of light they produce.

However, the team estimates that the birth rate of D6 stars is probably consistent with models where Type Ia supernovae produce hypervelocity runaway white dwarf stars, “but the observed population is dominated by the most massive and brightest runaways.”

Going forward, additional models that allow astronomers to characterize the thermal evolution of D6 stars will be required, the team says, to estimate the birth rates of these stars more accurately.

A team of Canadian researchers says that the lack of clumpiness in the structure of the universe could help to shed new light on the composition of dark matter.

A hypothetical form of matter believed to represent as much as 85% of the known universe, dark matter consists of particles that do not produce, reflect, or absorb light, making it undetectable by conventional methods astronomers use to observe electromagnetic radiation.

Although it is essentially invisible, the existence of dark matter can be inferred from the effect it has on objects that can be seen throughout the universe. There are several theories about what forms this hypothetical substance might take, which include “cold dark matter” comprised of weakly interacting particles and “hot” forms resulting from the movement of high-energy particles whose origins go all the way back to the beginning of the universe.

However, according to new research led by Keir Rogers with the University of Toronto’s Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics, dark matter may really consist of a variety of ultra-light particles known as axions, based on the lack of clumpiness in the universe.

The team believes this insight could ultimately reveal the longstanding mystery of invisible dark matter, along with providing new insights into what is known by cosmologists as the cosmic web, by establishing new links between these phenomena.

In the past, astronomers have noted how the distribution of matter throughout the universe is very even—perhaps surprisingly so—even at large scales. This goes against our expectations about how the matter should be distributed and could suggest that dark matter is composed of axions, a hypothetical form of very light, electrically neutral particles.

Rogers says that future experiments which may confirm this could be “one of the most significant discoveries of this century,” adding that his team’s research not only suggests the role axions may play in the mysterious nature of dark matter but also points to “an explanation for why the universe is less clumpy than we thought.”

Rogers adds that the apparent lack of clumpiness is “an observation that has become increasingly clear over the last decade or so and currently leaves our theory of the universe uncertain.”

Because of their wave-like behavior at wavelengths that can be even larger than a galaxy, axions are often characterized as “fuzzy,” a feature that has a direct influence on the formation of dark matter, as well as its distribution. This would not make sense in a universe without axions, Rogers and the team says, and is suggestive of the presence of axions in the dark matter equation.

The new research presents challenges to past cold dark matter theories involving weakly interacting subatomic particles, or WIMPs.

“In science, it’s when ideas break down that new discoveries are made,” Rogers said in a statement, “and age-old problems are solved.”

Analyzing Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) emanating from the earliest moments of the universe and collected by a series of large-scale surveys conducted in 2018, the CMB data was compared with data on galaxy clustering obtained from the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), which provides information on the positions of close to one million galaxies. The galactic distribution is a corollary for the influence of gravitational forces on dark matter throughout the universe.

Using this data to measure variances in the amount and distribution of matter in the universe, Rogers and his team were first able to confirm the lack of clumpiness, then apply computer simulations that allowed them to predict the manifestation of the earliest “relic light” emanating from the Big Bang, as well as the distribution of galaxies within the universe based on where they would be positioned in a universe with long dark matter waves.

Rogers and the team found that the simulations were a good match for the CMB data they analyzed and appear to lend further weight to the notion that axions are indeed a component behind the lack of clumpiness observed throughout the universe. In the future, additional large-scale surveys could help to provide data that will allow researchers like Rogers and his team to conduct even more precise measurements.

“We have the tools now that could enable us to finally understand something experimentally about the century-old mystery of dark matter,” Rogers said in a statement, adding that such insights may occur within the next two decades.

Insights which, Rogers hopes, “could give us hints to answers about even bigger theoretical questions.”

The team’s paper, “Ultra-light axions and the S8 tension: joint constraints from the cosmic microwave background and galaxy clustering,” was written by lead author Keir K. Rogers, and co-authors Mikhail M. Ivanov, Alex Laguë, Oliver H.E. Philcox, Giovanni Cabass, Renée Hlo¸ek, David J.E. Marsh, and Kazuyuki Akitsu, and appeared on June 14, 2023, in the Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics.

‘Roswell Was Real’ Claimed Apollo 14 Astronaut: Elizondo Suggests 2 UFOs Crashed That Day

Bryce Zabel, a CNN reporter has done a marvelous job in presenting the detailed Roswell incident in his personal blog. He collectively mentioned top witnesses’ statements that assure Roswell disclosure is on a fast track. The legendary incident that happened in 1947 was indeed real, according to moon-walking astronaut Edgar Mitchell. He claimed in his interviews that he had informants that had told him about the inside story of Roswell, but he never disclosed their names.

“Make no mistake, Roswell happened. I’ve seen secret files which show the government knew about it — but decided not to tell the public,” claimed Edgar Mitchell, Ph.D., Apollo 14 Astronaut.

In February 1971, after the successful completion of the mission, the Apollo 14 crew returned to Earth. Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell became the fifth and sixth astronauts to walk on the moon’s surface. While Shepard chose to live in the glory, Mitchell became the main troublemaker for many years.

He publicly accepted the existence of aliens after being on the Moon and stuck to it until his death. He accused the US government of hiding the truth about contact with aliens. Immediately after his return, Mitchell left NASA and immersed himself in studying UFOs, ancient history, and human consciousness.

Mitchell grew up in the small town of Artesia, a few miles from the very Roswell airbase where the crash allegedly occurred. The astronaut claimed that many of his neighbors, acquaintances, and friends worked at that base, and what he heard from them is enough for him to consider the Roswell incident a real UFO crash. Mitchell did not disclose the names of his informants, referring to the fact that they all signed a non-disclosure agreement and he did not want them to have any problems.

Michell, who claimed he briefed the highest members of the Pentagon, said the reality is that there was an advanced civilization that could penetrate our air defenses at will and that we could not stop them in any way, shape, or form, immediately doomed the Roswell incident to become one of the greatest coverups in history.

ET stopped Nuclear War

According to Mitchell, he once had a confidential conversation with a Navy admiral, who secretly told him that in fact, aliens had established contact with the government back in the early 1940s. They were interested in earthly weapons, primarily the atomic bomb. At the very beginning of the Cold War between the USSR and the USA, aliens often came to Earth because they feared nuclear war and tried to influence the world elites in some way. (Source)

Growing up in New Mexico gave him a unique insight to the Roswell area, he told the UK’s Mirror in 2015.

“White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons – and that’s what the extraterrestrials were interested in… They wanted to know about our military capabilities. My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”

According to a 2015 story, Apollo 14 astronaut said: “My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”

However, he clarified in his interview with Observer that he did not make those statements but at the same time, he somewhat agreed with those words. He said: “I don’t remember speaking to them personally. I don’t know where they got that information. I didn’t make those statements. Somebody has added to my words. Those weren’t my exact words but I don’t necessarily disagree with those statements.”

However, the 2016 Wikileak emails say Mitchell was worried about space weaponization. Despite the fact that aliens might be violent as shown in various sci-fi, the notable astronaut called them nonviolent in his email. In January 2015, he sent an email to Podesta, asking him to have an urgent meeting to discuss Disclosure and Zero Point Energy (ZPE). He was concerned about the peace in space.

Mitchell wrote: “My Catholic colleague Terri Mansfield will be there too, to bring us up to date on the Vatican’s awareness of ETI. Another colleague is working on a new Space Treaty, citing involvement with Russia and China. However, with Russia’s extreme interference in Ukraine, I believe we must pursue another route for peace in space and ZPE on Earth.”

Mitchell emailed Podesta again on September 18, 2015. He wrote: “Because the War in Space race is heating up, I felt you should be aware of several factors as you and I schedule our Skype talk. Remember, our nonviolent ETI from the contiguous universe are helping us bring zero point energy to Earth. They will not tolerate any forms of military violence on Earth or in space.”

Why Believe the Roswell Crash?

Bryce Zabel writes: “That storyline has hundreds of witnesses testifying to roughly the same fact trail. Some were first-hand witnesses to debris and even the recovery of bodies, and several accounts came from death bed confessions. Many more witnesses were family members who learned of the secret their fathers and husbands had kept inside them for decades. There were many dozens who attested to extremely tight security and transportation of material in the aftermath of what crashed at Roswell.”

Moreover, the hype of Roswell stories has increased. The New York Times started covering this issue in the summer of 2020 and is continuing its investigation into crash wreckage. Besides, the former head of the AATIP Luis Elizondo gave his candid take on the 1947 Roswell crash in New Mexico and more in an interview with the Roswell Daily Record.

Elizondo: “I’ll share with you… some of the observations that were made by some people. Before I was part of AATIP, I had no idea about Roswell, other than that there was sort of some alleged crash at some point and some farmer found debris — but during my time with AATIP, there was some very interesting anecdotal information that suggests there wasn’t just one crash, there may have been two crashes, and that somehow it may have been related to some sort of testing that was being done at the time at White Sands, and that material was recovered.

And that material that was recovered, samples of that material found their way into the hands of private citizens, some of them, but that the … allegedly the larger sections of debris were all recovered by the U.S. Government.”

During the interview, Elizondo said that while he headed the AATIP, his job was to concentrate on current UAP incidents, however, he added that he had conversations with so-called “graybeards” at the Pentagon who had been involved with UAPs since Project Blue Book. It was from these individuals that Elizondo learned what probably occurred at Roswell in 1947.

Elizondo: ”These individuals were convinced that the events in New Mexico were not fiction. In fact that it was a, very much a real event and that some very exotic material was recovered… And then there was a subsequent effort to try to be very dismissive about what occurred in New Mexico. But again, I will share with you that it was, from my understanding, it wasn’t one, it was two crashes, and it may have been related to some sort of nuclear-type testing of technology that we were doing, atomic and/or nuclear technology at Los Alamos at the time.”

NASA is working with AI SpaceFactory, a deep tech company, to develop a lunar outpost printed with recycled materials.

It has been a dream for many over the centuries to visit the Moon. The space race in the 1960s illustrated just how important that dream was to countries all around the world, but following the successful manned Moon missions of that era, many have wondered if Americans will ever return.

Now, NASA and other space agencies are working on technology to send people back to the Moon to learn more about its origins, and companies like AI SpaceFactory are even working on the prospect of helping make a continuous human presence on the Moon a reality. In a recent announcement, the company revealed its designs for LINA, a lunar outpost concept that would be developed in collaboration with NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC). 

BACKGROUND: THE HISTORY OF AI SPACEFACTORY

AI SpaceFactory may not be a household name as far as the new space race of the 21st century goes, but they are hard at work on the development of future space technology. Their primary goal is to build construction tools for improved space exploration with the use of sustainable materials.

Founded in 2017, the company mainly focuses on the future of human habitation, and the company has made a name for itself by winning $500,000 from NASA’s 3D Printed Habitat Challenge. The printed habitat was created from recycled materials and was able to withstand the extreme environments that NASA tested on it. Now, the company hopes to use a similar technology to build its lunar outpost. 

ANALYSIS: PRINTING THE LUNAR OUTPOST

The LINA lunar outpost project came from NASA’s 2020 Announcement of Collaboration Opportunity (ACO) Selections, of which AI SpaceFactory was a collaborator. Using the collaboration, AI SpaceFactory was able to change the composition of its 3D printed material, which originally was made from Martian soil types to now being created using a more lunar soil-type base. The 3D-printed habitat was tested in a special vacuum chamber at NASA, which simulates the environment on the Moon. Tests revealed that the material can be tweaked to be even more sustainable too, and AI SpaceFactory hopes to use it to print its LINA complex. 

The complex will be printed by robots on the Moon’s south pole near the Shackleton crater. There, LINA can take advantage of almost constant sunlight for solar power arrays, and nearby frozen water can be harvested easily. The building’s architecture makes it possible to have 2.7-meter-thick walls, withstanding radiation, heat, meteors, and more. As AI SpaceFactory CEO David Malott explained, “Our Mars habitat prototype MARSHA proved that 3D printing with a polymer composite was a strong solution for habitation off-world. Developing LINA and printing in an environment that is void of atmospheric pressures or weather systems advances that technology through a new context, with new and more precise variables.”

OUTLOOK: LUNAR LIVING 

The printed model of LINA will reside at one of KSC’s laboratories called the Swamp Works, and will be fitted with other infrastructure created by NASA. Not only does this next-level lunar habitat provide a cost-effective and easy way to construct buildings off-planet, but it also places sustainability as one of its main objectives. Creating these habitats may not only shift the current space-exploration industry, but may also provide a huge boost in terms of space tourism, especially if our aspirations to build lunar outposts ever extend beyond science, and into the hotel industry.

Methuselah: The oldest star in the universe

The oldest star in the universe is HD140283 — or Methuselah as it's commonly known. This Digitized Sky Survey image shows Methuselah star, located 190.1 light-years away. In 2000, scientists looked to date what they thought was the oldest star in the universe. They made observations via the European Space Agency's (ESA) Hipparcos satellite and estimated that HD140283 — or Methuselah as it's commonly known — was a staggering 16 billion years old.

Such a figure was rather baffling. After all, the age of the universe — determined from observations of the cosmic microwave background — is 13.8 billion years old, so how can a star be older than the universe?

"It was a serious discrepancy," says astronomer Howard Bond of Pennsylvania State University. So with that in mind, Bond and his colleagues set out to discover the truth and test the accuracy of the figure. Their conclusions were just as mind-blowing.

Astronomers began observing Methuselah — named in reference to a biblical patriarch who is said to have died aged 969, making him the longest-lived of all the figures in the Bible — more than 100 years ago. The curious star is located some 190 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Libra and it rapidly journeys across the sky at 800,000 mph (1.3 million kilometers per hour). 

It was clear that the star was old. The metal-poor subgiant is predominantly made of hydrogen and helium and contains very little iron. Such composition meant the star must have come into being when helium and hydrogen dominated the universe and before iron became commonplace (the heavier elements only appeared when massive stars created them in their cores) 

But could Methuselah really be more than two billion years older than its environment? Surely that is just not possible. Either the star was older than the universe or the universe was not as "young" as scientists thought it to be. Or maybe the dating was simply all wrong. What was it to be?

INVESTIGATING THE AGE OF METHUSELAH

 A mystery of this magnitude could not be ignored so Bond and his colleagues attempted to unearth the truth by pouring over 11 sets of observations that had been recorded between 2003 and 2011. 

These observations had been made by the Fine Guidance Sensors of the Hubble Space Telescope, which noted the positions, distances and energy output of stars. In acquiring parallax, spectroscopy and photometry measurements, the scientists could determine a better sense of age.

"One of the uncertainties with the age of HD 140283 was the precise distance of the star," Bond said. "It was important to get this right because we can better determine its luminosity and, from that, its age — the brighter the intrinsic luminosity, the younger the star. 

"We were looking for the parallax effect, which meant we were viewing the star six months apart to look for the shift in its position due to the orbital motion of the Earth, which tells us the distance."

Bond adds that there were also uncertainties in the theoretical modeling of the stars, such as the exact rates of nuclear reactions in the core and the importance of elements diffusing downwards in the outer layers. So they worked on the idea that leftover helium diffuses deeper into the core, leaving less hydrogen to burn via nuclear fusion. With fuel used faster, the age is lowered.

"Another factor that was important was, of all things, the amount of oxygen in the star," Bond said. HD 140283 had a higher than predicted oxygen-to-iron ratio and, since oxygen was not abundant in the universe for a few million years, it pointed again to a lower age for the star. 

As a result of all of this work, Bond and his collaborators estimated HD 140283's age to be 14.46 billion years. It was a significant reduction on the 16 billion previously claimed but it was still more than the age of the universe itself.

In that sense, it didn't clear up the mystery and, on the face of it, simply ensured Methuselah remained a curiosity. But the scientists posed a residual uncertainty of 800 million years, which Bond said made the star's age compatible with the age of the universe. It was a major breakthrough.

"Like all measured estimates, it is subject to both random and systematic error," said physicist Robert Matthews of Aston University in Birmingham, UK, who was not involved in the study. "The overlap in the error bars gives some indication of the probability of a clash with cosmological age determinations" 

"In other words, the best-supported age of the star conflicts with that for the derived age of the universe [as determined by the cosmic microwave background], and the conflict can only be resolved by pushing the error bars to their extreme limits."

Further refinements saw the age of HD 140283 fall a bit more. A 2014 follow-up study, for instance, updated the star's age to 14.27 billion years. "Again, if one includes all sources of uncertainty — both in the observational measurements and the theoretical modeling — the error is about 700 or 800 million years, so there is no conflict because 13.8 billion years lies within the star's error bar," Bond said.

What's more, in May 2021, another group of astronomers revised the best estimates for the age and mass of Methuselah and, having modeled how stars change over time, they found its age to be 12 billion years. It still makes HD 140283 extremely old (the sun, by comparison, is only a kid at 4.6 billion years old) but it puts the age of the star well and truly within the age of the universe. Or does it? 

INVESTIGATING THE AGE OF THE UNIVERSE

On the one hand, Bond says the efforts to date Methuselah is "an amazing scientific achievement which provides very strong evidence for the Big Bang picture of the universe". By showing similarities between the age of the universe and that of this old nearby star, he says the problem with the age of the oldest stars is far less severe than it was in the 1990s when the stellar ages were approaching 18 billion years or, in one case, 20 billion years. "With the uncertainties of the determinations, the ages are now agreeing," Bond said.

Yet, on the other hand, Matthews believes the problem has not yet been resolved. Astronomers at an international conference of top cosmologists at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara, California, in July 2019 were puzzled over studies that suggested different ages for the universe. They were looking at measurements of galaxies that are relatively nearby which suggest the universe is younger by hundreds of millions of years compared to the age determined by the cosmic microwave background.

Far from being 13.8 billion years old, as estimated by the European Planck space telescope's detailed measurements of cosmic radiation in 2013, the universe may be as young as 11.4 billion years. If that is, indeed, the case, then Methuselah is one again older than the universe. The plot, indeed, thickens, but how accurate are these re-estimates proving to be?
