Ever wonder what the future will hold and what we will be capable of doing as far as scientific research? Well, so far 2017 seems to be a year that is showing that we are definitely on track to some great scientific discoveries. So far there have been several notable ones, but here are some that stand out and could certainly shape the future.
1. REGENERATING TISSUE AND ORGANS
This is such vital research when we stop to think about how important the human organs are to each of us. There has now been advancements made in actually growing human tissue and organs within a lab. Such research and advancements could one day repair nerve damage, damage tissue, and also help a person in need of a organ transplant.
2. DISCOVERY OF A PLANET THAT COULD SUSTAIN LIFE
We have often wondered if there was life on other planets. It would seem such a procedure has now been done successfully remove the gene that has been linked to heart disease. This is truly a great breakthrough since it would seem many types of debilitating and even deadly diseases can be linked to our genetics.
4. A REUSABLE ROCKET
Yes, in the past rockets were considered one way trips. These weren't reusable, that is until now. It would seem that SpaceX has relaunched the Falcon 9 which was made with the recycled parts from other rockets. This is an advancement which could save millions of dollars in money when it come to space program.
5. CREATING LIFE OUTSIDE THE WOMB
This is a fantastic development for women who are able to create the egg needed but unable to actually carry their child to term. It would seem a group of scientist have successfully experimented using a lamb embryo to prove the a fetus could grow and mature within a sort of incubator like bag. The next step is to use this advancement on a human embryo. As things stand the same process has been successful in saving the lives of children born far to prematurely to have survived prior to such an advancement in fetal research.
