The Science Channel to premiere new UFO shows at UFO Conference
The Science Channel has partnered up with the International UFO Congress in Scottsdale to screen episodes of their new UFO TV show Close Encounters, which features some of the conference’s speakers. The screenings are free and open to the public, and are meant to help promote the Science Channel’s Are We Alone month in March.
According to the Science Channel, Are We Alone month is focused on the “search for answers to bold new questions about mankind’s search for extraterrestrial life.”
That makes Close Encounters a perfect fit. The show examines some of the most credible and mysterious UFO sightings ever to be investigated. The show’s website says, “These are the stories that have captivated experts and researchers’ imaginations.”
Some of the experts featured in the show will be speaking at the UFO Congress. These screenings will be the first chance for American audiences to see the show. Close Encounters will premiere on the Science Channel on March 4.
The reasons Chamorro presented to his superiors for opening an office for the study of possible alien craft were based on Chapter 12 of the Peruvian Constitution, declaring that the duty of the State is to safeguard the Nation through its Armed Forces.
“The officers working at the La Joya military base were used to sightings. There was an event that repeated every December. We called it the Star of David because we didn't know the nature of that bright light that shined at us day and night. There was also the so-called lost city: in the distance you could see a brightly-lit city that receded as you approached it. It was so frequent that it stopped being important,” said Chamorro to BBC Mundo.
A Luminous Orb
There was a rumor circulating at the time. Alberto Fujimori, who was president at the time, used to go fishing on the Amazon River aboard a FAP aircraft. They say that while he fished, a luminous orb emerged from the river and flew into the air. Fujimori and his team saw it, but agreed to say nothing about it.
“It's true, it happened,” states Chamorro. Marco Barraza corroborates the anecdote. Was it for this reason that the office could be opened? According to Chamorro, “this possibly aided in making the decision to open the office.” But what has been the use of all the information collected, both by the first office as well as the current department?
“What's important is acceptance by the public and their desire to share their experiences. This is something that involves all of humanity and no one is excluded from what's going on,” Chamorro stressed. There isn't much criticism in Peru against programs of this sort, unless they incur considerable expenditures or some important error is revealed.
In The Region
Perú isn't the only country looking for an explanation about anomalous aerial phenomena. Chile has the Commission for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (CEFAA), Argentina has the UFO Phenomena Study Commission (CEFORA) and Uruguay has the Unidentified Flying Obejct Report Reception and Investigation Commission (CRIDOVNI).
“Some of the country's regions have built alliances with a view toward exchanging specialized information in a strategic manner, in order to pool their efforts on the research into these subjects,” stated Defense Minister Pedro Cateriano. “However, Peru is fully capable today of analyzing and researching this phenomenon in an autonomous and independent manner and it would only appeal for an exchange of information with neighboring countries in an exceptional manner with the aim of cross-checking information for more exact conclusions.”
And until a more exact conclusion is achieved, DIFAA's advisory board will wait for the phone to ring again to create another file that may someday, perhaps, answer the question: What if we're not alone?

On January 29th, 2014, I went outside and took photos of the sunset. We definitely have more colorful sunsets than this one, so not sure why I wanted to take these photos. I used my newer Droid cell phone: took a few photos, deleted some and kept two. I really didn't look closely at the pictures at this time.
Last night, February 6, 2014, my granddaughter sent me a text message which included a photo of snow in the headlights of their car, saying how cold it was on their way north to our cabin. I sent her back the two photos of the sunset to show the difference in the temperatures. This was when I really “looked” at the photos and was shocked at what I was looking at…I look at the sky often and never see anything (UFOs), but my camera “saw” the objects. I didn't see anything while taking the photos, except the sunset. I wasn't looking for objects in the sky. I would have thought I would have, but did not.
The above photo was taken from the above photo and enlarged and enhanced using the Autocontrast tool in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Object appears approximately half way up towards the left of the photo.
Not only was I shocked to see the objects, but the fact that there were saucer shaped objects and one of shaped like a cylindrical object also — thought that was unusual?
This photo could show a cylindrical UFO. I enlarged and enhanced this object using the Autocontrast tool in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Object appears in the center of the photo.
My son convinced me that I should send the photos somewhere to get a possible opinion regarding the photos. So sending one to MUFON. Thanks!

Friday the 4th of June. My husband and I was watering our plants in the backyard. When we finished, while my husband was putting the water hose away I looked up in the sky and saw this strange object. I couldn’t tell what it was. I could see it very clear, but I didn’t know what it was. I called my husband and asked him if he knew what this thing was. He looked at it and couldn’t tell what this flying thing was. We were a little creeped out about it. This thing was black and it was made of metal. The object had flames shooting out from the bottom and sides of it. This thing didn’t make any noise. I also noticed it had some sharp points to it. This object move very slow in a horizontal pattern in a Northeast direction. It keeped moving to the point that we lost sight of it in the clouds. I first thought it was space debris falling from the sky. My husband said that it didn’t fall from the sky, this thing moved in a way that falling debris wouldn’t move. It moved like something was in control of it. I e-mailed the Newspaper to see if anyone else made any reports on this object, but never got a response. I checked the newspaper to see if they wrote anything about this thing and nothing was ever mentioned in it. I was wondering if you can look into this and see if anyone else saw this thing or if there’s a resonable explaination to what this was. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

As I mentioned in a previous article, I am well aware that just because somebody, no matter what their ‘position’ says something to be true, does not necessarily mean it’s true. That doesn’t mean we dismiss it, if there is evidence (footage and documentation) that goes beyond their testimony it is worth hearing what they have to say, especially if they have held high level positions within the departments that deal with this matter. That is precisely why I think it’s important to hear these testimonies.
Lord Admiral Hill-Norton was the former chief of defense staff, and 5 star Admiral of the Royal Navy. That’s the highest possible rank of the British Royal Navy, similar to General Dwight Eisenhower’s 5 star rank in the United States. He was also Chairman of the NATO Military Committee. These are definitely positions to be somewhat in the “know” of what is going on, to some extent.
I am not surprised many of these people wait until old age to share their thoughts.
His statements echo the words of X Canadian Defense Minister Paul Heyller, who said that at least 4 known alien species have been visiting Earth for thousands of years.
The debate whether UFOs exist or not has long disappeared. UFOs have been officially verified, the question now seems to be, who is operating them? Sure, some might be classified military aircraft, but it seems that some could very well be extraterrestrial in origin. I believe, just like the world has become aware of UFOs, they will become aware of the ones operating some of them.

Many governments have done the same, admitting to using resources and having departments that study the UFO phenomenon in depth. Files have also been released via the Freedom of Information Act to UFO researchers who are interested. Here is an example of a file released from the NSA, confirming stories of military personnel who have had ground and air radar confirmation, as well as visual confirmation.
The fact that the highest ranking people within the British Ministry of Defense has (somewhat) been kept in the dark about UFOs is mind boggling. In 2008, Paul Hellyer (X Canadian Defense Minister) expressed his frustration at the fact that trillions of dollars are going into projects that the highest ranking personnel in the military, as well as the President, know nothing about. His statements were given more validity this year, when Edward Snowden leaked the very first public disclosure of the black budget. The black budget is directly related to the UFO phenomenon, and you can read more about it here.
I’d also like to address rumors of false information coming into the public domain. That all of this UFO disclosure is a tool used by the elite in order to plan a false flag alien invasion. Just like anything else, the manipulation and ‘perception twisting,’ of real phenomenon has always occurred within corporate media. Using the extraterrestrial phenomenon to scare the human population is a strong possibility, just like terrorism is used to scare the public. At the same time, the truth is still there, whatever it may be, and it’s up to us to find it out for ourselves. Use your heart, listen to yourself, go through the confusion rather than blindly believing what you are told on television. I personally believe that the elite (if they are planning such a thing) would not, and could not be successful.
It’s up to us where we want to take the realization that we are not alone. Personally, I think it’s a big deal. What is more of a big deal is the fact that now more than ever we need to address the dire environmental situation of our planet and take care of it. Perhaps that realization is tied to the extraterrestrial phenomenon in some way?
Perhaps we are more powerful than we believe, if guided by light from a place of peace and cooperation just imagine what we could create. I believe we can heal this planet and unlock our infinite unlimited potential to create, explore and discover.

(N.Morgan) This week Groningen thought it had another earthquake, but early Tuesday it was determined to have been a sonic boom, rather than an earthquake. The seismic meter didn’t show any earthquake activity in the area, the day of the tremors. A little after 10 on Tuesday evening, Twitter blew up with messages about the earthquake. People also called the media with the report. The messages claimed it was a big one, too.
Most of the tremors were felt in a relatively small area, but reports also came from Drenthe and south-east Friesland. Richard van Dijk, a resident from Loppersum, where earthquakes are frequently experienced from the fracking by NAM in the area, reported that the front of his house was sinking. On Twitter, residents from Ulrum, Middelstum and Loppersom said they felt tremors. People living further away like Groningen, Assen and Haulerwijk, reportedly felt “quakes”.
Expert Theo Jurriens from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen expects that it was not a meteor, because there were no messages from eye witnesses. “Then it would have been a big one, and that we would have seen”, he said around midnight. According to the NOS, the KNMI will still investigate this possibility. “Possibly, it was a jet passing through the sound barrier”, Theo says.

“UFO’s zijn aardse technologische proeven met de zwaartekracht, waar wij niks van mogen weten,” voegde hij toe. “Instanties en overheden ontkennen. Met deze nieuwe technologie zijn kernenergie en fossiele brandstoffen niet meer nodig. Maar er vliegt nog veel meer door de lucht. Er is zelfs buitenaards contact.”

Witness said: This object seems to be emitting something as it comes on screen. There are also some explosions or emissions that occur as it heads into chem clouds. This UFO tracks the chem plane at the same rate of speed and direction.
New amazing video footage of a yellow UFO parked on the ISS hull. This particular UFO was recorded on ISS web camera on 29th January 2014. As you could see the UFO is a solid object near the ISS. It should be about 10 meters wide or more. This video was reported by Streetcap1 on his youtube channel. The object was there for some time. After some time the video goes blue screen.
An unidentified flying object (UFO) can be anything at all: an unauthorized flight, a light, a drone or unmanned aircraft, an optical illusion, or an alien spacecraft.
Any aerial object flying within national airspace whose flight is unlawful, anomalous and unidentifiable in nature represents a threat to civilian and military security and navigation. For this reason, the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) has the duty to look into these phenomena in order to safeguard order and proper use of the national air corridors. “These were the words of Pedro Cateriano, Peru's Minister of the Air, to BBC Mundo (BBC World).
It was thus that the government reopened DIFAA, the Department of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena Investigation, under the jurisdiction of the Air Force itself.
Whether aliens travel aboard those lights or vehicles is not the department's concern, and the beliefs or desires of its investigators regarding the subject are part of their private lives.
This office looks into any phenomenon or object that can jeopardize a military or passenger aircraft. However, most of the cases recorded cannot be explained and the question marks about signs of life beyond our planet emerge once more.
I've Seen a UFO
The phone rings at DIFAA and a specialist writes down the information. Calls have been received more than once from someone claiming to be in contact with aliens and that their mission is to save the world. These calls are usually dismissed.
"We have no way of telling what it is unless we can analyze the images or videos submitted to us, aside from the questionnaires to be filled in by the witnesses," said Marco Barraza, an investigator and member of the DIFAA team.
If someone reports a strange light, the first thing they do is cross-check the information with the control towers of the nearest airports. "The idea is to activate a protocol and create a record. This is how accidents are prevented," he explained.
DIFAA's advisory board is formed by eight civilians (an astronomer, an archaeologist, a sociologist, a former pilot, a physicist, a philosopher, a broadcaster and a sociologist) and two military men. They are in charge of conducting the evaluations and preparing a report for DINAE (the Office of Aerospace Interests).
The goal is to have a record. Certain constants emerge: spheres, elongated objects, cylinders, diamonds and luminous triangles. The places where they appear also repeat, almost always in the vicinity of archaeological sites.
What are they? Are they from other worlds? The mystery will remain unsolved until they can be touched, and their nature ascertained.
The Catch of the Day
Commander Julio Chamorro (Ret.) forms part of DIFAA's advisory board. Chamorro was the founder and leader of OIFAA (The Office of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena Investigation) which operated from 1999 to 2005, and the first military man to state the need to look into these phenomena.

In a YouTube video posted by user Quang Tran online on January 30, Tran says he was outside in his Fort Mill neighborhood when he saw something bright in the sky.
“I used my Samsung note 3 to taken [sic] the first [video] until the object went down and I turn off the camera,” Tran posted online.
That's when he says he saw another object in the sky and recorded another video.
In the video, the object is moving to the left, but then turns back to the right. It stops and hovers again.
A commercial airplane is seen flying over the neighborhood in the video, as well.
After appearing to hover, the object quickly descends to the right of the screen in the same direction that the other object flew in Trans first video just moments earlier.
There have been rumors floating around for many years that the first Russian contact with “grey aliens” allegedly took place in 1942. At the time, a series of diplomatic visits to discuss matters of mutual concern were planned, according to alleged Russian documents and a treaty was made, Voice of Russia writes.
In 1969 in the state of Sverdlovsky, a UFO was reported to had crashed and was recovered by the Russian military. There is an alleged video footage showing the recovery, with close-ups of the UFO itself. Allegedly, there was one dead alien found in the craft. The remains of the alien and the UFO debris were taken to a secure Russian site, where the saucer was analyzed, and an autopsy done on the alien.
According to Russian newspaper “Pravda”, the KGB has allegedly had a special unit designed to gather and monitor all pieces of information regarding mystical and unexplained phenomena reported inside and outside the Soviet Union.
Also according to Pravda, General A. G. Ponomarnko, head commander of the Urals military district, was to ensure that KGB agents be involved in the work pertaining to the UFO at all stages. The agents’ reports were promptly forwarded to Colonel A. I. Grigoriev, chief of the KGB scientific department.
According Billy J Booth on About.com there are unsubstantiated reports that a UFO crashed or was shot down near the city of Prohlandnyi, in the USSR at on August 10, 1989. Soviet military radar tracked an unidentified flying object and the Russian attempted unsuccessfully to contact the craft. The UFO was classified as “hostile.” Soviet defenses were alerted, and MIG-25s flew to find and identify the UFO.
Russians Had Contact With Aliens In 1942?
There was obvious damage to the exterior of the craft. The retrieval team, wearing protective outer wear, moved to the site. There was a small amount of radiation, and some members of the team were effected.
A helicopter on the scene was hooked up to the craft, and the UFO was transported to Mozdok Air Base. Russians entered the UFO and discovered three alien bodies-two dead, one barely alive.
A team of doctors and other medical personnel made every effort to keep the alien alive, but failed. All three of the beings were about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall, with gray outer wear. Underneath, their skin was a blue-green color with a reptilian texture. They had no hair, large black eyes covered with a protective lid, and web fingers ended their long, slender arms. The alien bodies were kept in glass containers and UFO taken to Kapustin Yar.
This information was first reported by three Russian investigators-Anton Anfalov, Lenura Azizova and Alexander Mosolov. However, they had no documentation to support their story. – In Serbia
This may be old news to some, but for many it wont be. A study published in the Journal of Archaeological Science in December of 2013 found that the earliest known (according to the study) iron artifacts that date back to circa 3200 BC, from two burials in northern Egypt were made from meteoritic iron, and shaped by careful hammering of the metal.(1) After hammering pieces into thin sheets before being rolled into tubes, the nine beads that were found were originally strung into a necklace with other materials like gold and gemstones. This discovery reveals the value of these materials in ancient times. It also reveals that in the fourth millennium BC, metal workers had mastered the smithing of meteoritic iron, well before what was previously thought.
The beads were excavated in 1911, found in a cemetery, and are believed to be the earliest known iron artifacts. A total of nine beads were retrieved, and the necklace beads were found in their original order. Since both tombs securely date back to Naqada, 3400-3100 BC, the beads predate the emergence of iron smelting by nearly 2000 years, and other known meteoritic iron artefacts by 500 years or more.
Professor Thilo Rehren from Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar was the lead author of the paper. They used x-ray methods to determine whether the 5,000 year old beads were actually meteoric iron, and not magnetite, which can often be mistaken to be corroded iron due to similar properties.
“The really exciting outcome of this research is that we were for the first time able to demonstrate conclusively that there are typical trace elements such as cobalt and germanium present in the beads, at levels that only occur in meteoritic iron. We are also excited to be able to see the internal structure of the beads, revealing how they were rolled and hammered into form. This is very different technology from the usual stone bead drilling, and shows quite an advanced understanding of how the metal smiths worked this rather difficult material” – Professor Rehren
There is a lot of mystery surrounding Egypt, but the fact that they made cosmic jewelery is pretty cool. We don’t often reflect on just how advanced civilizations were in these times. Even today, how the pyramids were built, the mathematical precision and the astronomical alignments that correlate with them are astonishing. If we wanted to do something like that today, even with all of our technology, it would still be almost impossible to recreate. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that these ancient civilizations were much more advanced than we are. I find it quite amusing that they knew that the Earth was round, before we even believed it to be flat!
Ancient Egyptians were fascinated with the sky, and according to Joyce Tyldesley, who co-authored a study on the same findings that was published in the journal Meteoritics and Planetary Science, “the sky was very important to the ancient Egyptians, something that falls from the sky is going to be considered as a gift from the gods.” (2)

The study was conducted alongside researchers at the School of Mathematics at Cardiff University and from the Medical Research Institute in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Part 2: CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: NOVEMBER 25, 2009 -- On a short drive home from his work near Port Jervis, New York, John Hudson is singing along to Christmas carols when he notices strange lights in the sky. He describes a cigar-shaped object, 200 feet in length, with five multi-coloured lights. As the object passes over his car, his car dies and so does his cell phone. When it finally disappears, his car and cell phone start up again. Investigators believe the effects on his vehicle and cellphone were due to some kind of electromagnetic interference.
EPISODE 106
Episode 1: BLIND DATE: NOVEMBER 2, 1971 - 16-year-old Ron Johnson is feeding the family sheep when he suddenly sees a mushroomshaped object appearing in the field. As he moves in to get a closer look, he is blinded by the glowing light emitted from the object. After he regains his vision, Ron races back to his family house to alert his Mother and Father, Erma and Durel. They see the object as it disappears and then discover a glowing ring on the ground. Erma Johnson touches the substance and her fingers immediately go numb. She would experience numbness in her fingers for the rest of her life.
Part 2: FLYING HOUSE: JANUARY 5, 2000 - Three police officers from a number of small towns in southern Illinois track an unknown object flying in the sky. As they maintain radio contact with each other, they describe the object being as large as a house, triangular in shape and travelling at treetop level at varying speeds. Dozens of other witnesses come forward and report seeing the same object in the sky that night.

Tijdens de bezetting van Polen werkten Wernher von Braun en SS-generaal Hans Kammler aan een toestel dat elektromagnetisch werd aangedreven. Het vliegtuig stond bekend als ‘Die Glocke’. Volgens History Channel zijn er nog een aantal schetsen van het toestel.
Kecksburg
Toen Duitsland werd binnengevallen door de geallieerden, verdween het gehele project samen met Kammler. Veel Duitse wetenschappers werden overgebracht naar de VS, waar het onderzoek waarschijnlijk werd voortgezet.
Zowel Von Braun als Kammler stonden aan de basis van de V2-raket. Met de Saturnus V, die door Von Braun is ontworpen, kon de Apollo 11 succesvol op de maan landen.
Sommigen menen dat het Duitse antizwaartekrachttoestel verband houdt met een UFO-crash in Kecksburg in de staat Pennsylvania in 1965. Zowel het leger, de NSA als de NASA kwamen opdagen om het object op te eisen.
Hiërogliefen
Brandweerlieden die op de crash waren afgekomen troffen een bolvormig object aan in het bos. Getuigen spraken van vreemde hiërogliefen op de zijkant van het object. De honderden getuigen werden weggestuurd door militairen.
In 2005 zei NASA, in tegenstelling tot eerdere claims, dat het ging om een neergestorte Sovjet-satelliet. NASA beweerde later ook dat alle documenten over het incident ergens in de jaren negentig waren kwijtgeraakt.
In 2009 werd een soortgelijk object gezien boven Maryland en op 15 januari vorig jaar zagen mensen een koepelvormig object boven Colorado. Er wordt gezegd dat dit type toestel is ontwikkeld met behulp van reverse engineering van buitenaardse vaartuigen.
1960 was a year of hope for the US Air Force. Following the volatile UFO sightings and multiple engagements between US pilots of jet interceptors and the mysterious aerial phenomena, the Pentagon wished it would all just go away. Former Director of Project Bluebook, retired Captain Edward J. Ruppelt had been forced to renege on his position on UFO’s he had revealed in his 1956 book, “The Report on UFO’s”. In it, he had exposed the utter chaos that had existed within the ranks of armed forces leadership in dealing with the elusive mystery that had confounded their efforts. By 1960, an iron fisted new policy had been introduced by the Pentagon to forcefully deny and ridicule all witnesses who dared make detailed reports on their close encounters.
Captain Ruppelt, now retired and working for a well-known defense contractor under pressure from the USAF, retracted his position in his 1956 book, and was forced to deny it in a second book that he was ordered to publish. Edward J. Ruppelt died of a heart attack at age 50 not long after being forced to publish that book. According to Donald Keyhoe, Col. USMC retired and famous UFO writer, friends closest to Ruppelt felt that he had been so deeply hurt by the Air Force’s efforts to pressure him and question his integrity that this contributed to his sudden death. According to Ryan Wood, co-founder of the Las Vega UFO Crash Retrieval Conferences, Ruppelt’s death was far from an ordinary occurrence according to actuarial tables used by insurance companies to assess health liability. His death represented one of many such unusual spikes in untimely deaths that seem to plague the UFO community.
The persistence of the unknown
However, with all their efforts, the Pentagon could not suppress UFO reports or the appearance of unknown airborne objects that refused to go away just because the powers that be wanted them to. In 1960 civilian astronomers first reported odd telescope observations of unknown objects high above the earth’s atmosphere that were not celestial in nature and did not orbit or burn up in the upper atmosphere as asteroids and meteors would have. These objects remained stationary 90 miles above the earth. The information was discreetly passed onto defense contractors who used their advanced detection equipment to maintain a secret and constant surveillance upon these paradoxical manifestations from elsewhere in the universe.
Most capable air defense in the world
In 1960 Strategic Air Command was in the firm grip of its creator, General Curtis Le May. There was no orbital satellite network such as was operated by NORAD some years later. The USAF did maintain Aerospace Defense Command which utilized early generations of missiles as an orbital shield against possible aggressors. This now obsolete unit was the precursor to NORAD. Naval missile destroyers, land based installations, and armed aircraft comprised this early incarnation of space and aero defense.
On several occasions according to Donald Keyhoe in his 1973 book, “Aliens in Space” a tense surveillance was focused on high altitude unidentified objects that defied normal meteor behavior and were huge in dimension. As these objects began hovering directly above sensitive US military installations, fighter jets were scrambled. This did little good as the jet interceptor pilots could do little more than helplessly circle below the unknown crafts as they drifted at orbital height far beyond the range of their human driven machines. These venerable jet interceptors within the arsenal of SAC were the F-106 Delta Dart, a nuclear stand-off capability fighter that was equipped with the Genie nuclear tipped wing mounted missile.
SAC arsenal ineffectual against the UFO threat
Other fighter jets prevalent in 1960, who had met UFO’s on their terms many times in the past decade were the F-86 Sabre, F 101 Voodoo, F-94C Starfire, F-100 Super Sabre, F-89 Scorpion, and the F-84 Thunderjet these were the backbone fighter interceptor aircraft of Strategic Air Command, and often engaged unknown aerial phenomenon with sometimes deadly results. Intentions were high as SAC along with several defense contractors used powerful targeting radars focused to high altitudes to try and analyze their unusual airborne opponents.
As high ranking military officers lied to American TV audiences that UFO’s represented no threat or were the product of fabrication, strong regulations were instigated to even prevent units within the USAF and other ranks of the armed services from filing documented reports within military channels. Project Bluebook would now be reduced to no more than a public relations department in comparison to the serious investigative unit it had been when Captain Edward Ruppelt had been at the helm in the early 1950’s.
Denial the backbone US Air Force explanation
All these efforts to debunk UFO reports failed as the persistent phenomena continued to haunt the greatest defensively equipped nation in the world. Constantly reminding mankind of his obsolete weaponry and ineffective attempts at pursuit, these large UFO’s continued to maintain fixed positions in space beyond the reach of surface to air missiles (SAMS) as NASA, the USAF, and the US Navy devised the precursor of the modern “Star Wars” orbital defense system that President Ronald Reagan would later champion. The secretive program was known as Project “Saint”. If no extraterrestrial threat existed according to the authorities, why was a classified project underway designed to intercept unknown orbital threats as early as 1960? According to both Donald Keyhoe and Phillip J. Corso, apparently a real enough threat did indeed exist.
