Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

On Thursday, April 17, NASA announced the discovery of Kepler-186f, an exoplanet with the greatest likelihood of containing life.
A team of researchers published findings related to the discovery of Kepler-186f in the journal Science. The team identified the planet using data collected by NASA’s Kepler space telescope.

Although some previously discovered planets reside in their stars’ habitable zones, those planets are all at least forty percent larger than Earth. This latest discovery marks the first time scientists have found a rocky, Earth-sized planet that potentially has the necessary conditions for liquid water to exist at the surface. And because water is a necessary ingredient for life as we know it, astrobiologists are excited by the potential for life on Kepler-186f. With a size similar to Earth, this exoplanet, which is located approximately five hundred light years away, could have a rocky surface like Earth and maybe even a similar atomsphere.
Thomas Barclay, an astrophysicist who analyzes exoplanet-hunting data for the NASA Ames Research Center, is a co-author of the research paper published in Science. He explains:
Being in the habitable zone does not mean we know this planet is habitable. The temperature on the planet is strongly dependent on what kind of atmosphere the planet has . . . Kepler-186f can be thought of as an Earth-cousin rather than an Earth-twin. It has many properties that resemble Earth.
Four other planets reside in the Kepler-186 system. These planets orbit a red dwarf star half the size and mass of our Sun. Red dwarf stars account for approximately seventy percent of the stars in the Milky Way galaxy.

As Barclay explains to Popular Science, “The fact that such Earth kin have never appeared in the data before doesn’t mean they’re rare.” He and his colleagues “expect there to be more out there.”
A Massachusetts parent and daughter in Rehoboth reported watching an egg-shaped UFO moving in a straight line at a slow pace on April 12, 2014, according to testimony in Case 55424 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The two were outside taking a break from raking their yard when the object was first noticed.
“It looked like an 'egg' with a straight line of travel, not bobbing or swaying,” the reporting witness stated. “The object moved in a straight line at a slow pace and was hard to focus on because of the bright day.”
The witness described the object.
“It was an egg-shaped object, white in color. Not sure if it was glowing or if reflecting, but it was definitely white. It seemed to slow a little before slightly curving its course and staying straight after doing so, ascending upward and then not visible anymore.”
The witness said the object appeared to be controlled.
“It was not rising like a balloon would. It appeared to be ascending while traveling across the sky, slowly, with no swaying, no bobbing. The object appeared to be controlled.”
Ça y est : Kepler DÉCOUVRE LA PREMIÈRE VÉRITABLE EXOTERRE. Kepler 186f est à 500 AL de la Terre, son diamètre est de 14000 km, soit à peine plus grosse que la Terre. Et elle se trouve dans la ZH de son soleil, Kepler 186, une naine rouge plus froide que Sol. Cependant l'orbite de 186f est plus proche de son étoile parente et son année est de 130 jours. Sa gravité est proche de celle de la Terre. Comme les naines rouges émettent plus dans l'IR, il est possible que 186f soit plus chaude qu'on pourrait le supposer. Ainsi, la température de surface de la planète permet probablement l'existence d'eau liquide. Et qui dit eau liquide... Par ailleurs, les naines rouges sont beaucoup plus vieilles que notre soleil. Si la vie est apparue là-bas dans le passé, qui sait comment elle ura évolué..
Bon, les vacances sur K186f, ses "cocotiers", ses plages de sable bleu et ses belles humanoïdes à la longue chevelure vert émeraude, ce n'est pas vraiment pour demain, mais bravo la mission Kepler !
Une planète de taille terrestre dans la zone habitable d’une étoile naine
L’annonce de la détection d’une exoplanète pratiquement de la même taille que la Terre, située à une distance de son étoile qui pourrait lui permettre d’abriter de l’eau sous forme liquide, constitue un pas de plus vers la découverte d’une jumelle de notre planète.
La perspective de la découverte d’exoplanètes semblables à la Terre capables d’abriter de l’eau sous forme liquide et donc un milieu favorable à l’apparition et au développement de la vie telle que nous la connaissons sur notre planète est sans doute le moteur le plus puissant de la recherche exoplanétaire. Bien que des exoplanètes de dimension comparable à la Terre aient déjà été détectées, certaines sont même plus petites, elles orbitent bien trop près de leur étoile et leur température est trop élevée pour permettre l’existence durable d’eau sous forme liquide à leur surface. Dans un article publié dans Science, Elisa Quintana (SETI Institute/NASA Ames Research Center) et ses collègues annoncent la détection de Kepler-186f, une exoplanète de 1,11 rayon terrestre (+/- 0,14 rayon) en orbite autour d’une étoile naine de 0,47 rayon solaire, distante de près de 500 années-lumière du Soleil (constellation du Cygne). Kepler-186f est la cinquième exoplanète découverte autour de cette étoile. Les quatre autres ont également une dimension proche de celle de la Terre, mais elles se situent bien plus près de l’étoile. L’étude approfondie de Kepler-186, de son intensité lumineuse et de son spectre, montre que l’exoplanète Kepler-186f se trouve à l’intérieur de sa zone habitable, c’est-à-dire que, si elle possède une atmosphère suffisamment dense et de l’eau, alors la température régnant à sa surface doit permettre la présence d’eau liquide.
Pour Emeline Bolmont, qui a participé à ces recherches avec Sean Raymond et Franck Selsis, tous trois co-auteurs de l’article de Science et membres de l’équipe Système solaire et Exoplanètes au Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Bordeaux (CNRS/Université de Bordeaux) : « la découverte de cette planète est historique car c’est la planète la plus petite, la plus proche de la taille de la Terre dans la zone habitable de son étoile (et probablement rocheuse). Elle marque sans doute le début d’une période : de plus en plus de ces objets vont être découverts dans le futur, avec des caractéristiques de plus en plus semblables à la Terre. »
Kepler-186 est une étoile de type spectral M qui possède le numéro 8120608 dans le Kepler Input Catalogue.Il existe des dizaines de milliards d’étoiles naines de classe M dans notre galaxie, ce qui laisse entrevoir une perspective plutôt stimulante explique Elisa Quintana : « notre galaxie est probablement jonchée de cousines de Kepler-186f. » Le rayon de l’étoile Kepler-186 est près de deux fois plus petit que celui du Soleil (0,47 +/- 0,05 rayon solaire) et elle brille bien moins intensément ; sa température de surface est proche de 3 500 °C. Mais, ce qui pourrait apparaître comme un handicap, n’en est pas obligatoirement un pour la recherche de mondes habitables. Par « monde habitable », on n’entend pas des mondes sur lesquels on pourrait, par un coup de baguette magique digne de la science-fiction, transporter des êtres humains et leur permettre de vivre comme sur la Terre. Non, « monde habitable » signifie plutôt un monde possédant des conditions de pression et de température qui permettraient l’existence d’eau sous forme liquide sur une très longue période de temps. Les étoiles de type spectral M évoluant très lentement, leur luminosité reste stable durant des milliards d’années, ce qui donne beaucoup de temps à un monde habitable pour voir potentiellement se développer des formes de vie plus ou moins complexes.
L’étoile Kepler-186 a été observée par la sonde américaine Kepler qui a scruté près de 150 000 étoiles, entre mars 2009 et mai 2013, à la recherche des moindres variations d’éclat pouvant trahir la présence d’exoplanètes. Près de 3 800 candidates ont ainsi été signalées par Kepler parmi lesquelles plus de 960 exoplanètes ont d’ores et déjà été confirmées, c’est plus de la moitié de toutes les exoplanètes découvertes à ce jour (1 780 au 16 avril 2014). En dépouillant les mesures des deux premières années de la mission, les astronomes ont détecté quatre exoplanètes autour de Kepler-186, grâce aux infimes variations de luminosité de l’étoile provoquée par les passages de ces corps devant elle (méthode des transits). Ces quatre premières exoplanètes sont toutes plus petites que 1,5 rayon terrestre, mais elles ont des périodes de révolution allant de 3,9 jours à 22,4 jours, ce qui implique une très grande proximité avec leur étoile et donc, entre autres, des températures excessives à leur surface. Avec une année d’observation complémentaire, Elisa Quintana et ses collègues sont parvenus à mettre en évidence une cinquième exoplanète, Kepler-186f. Des observations complémentaires faites avec deux des plus grands télescopes terrestres, le Keck-II et le Gemini North, ont confirmé que les observations de Kepler étaient réelles et ne pouvaient pas être imputées à une autre étoile en orbite autour de Kepler-186 ou située en arrière-plan.

Même si certains s’amusent à donner des noms aux exoplanètes, les astronomes les désignent en ajoutant simplement une lettre au nom de l’étoile en commençant par la lettre b ; les planètes du système de Kepler-186 portent donc les lettres b, c, d, e et f. Ce cinquième membre d’un système planétaire déjà bien développé s’est révélé beaucoup plus intéressant que les autres. Sa période de 129,9 jours indique en effet une orbite plus grande : son rayon est estimé à 0,35 unité astronomique, soit près de 52 millions de kilomètres (l’unité astronomique est la distance moyenne de la Terre au Soleil et elle vaut près de 150 millions de kilomètres). Kepler-186f se situe donc sensiblement à la même distance de son étoile que Mercure ne l’est du Soleil, mais elle ne risque pas d’être « grillée » comme la première planète du Système solaire car l’énergie dispensée par Kepler-186 est bien moindre. En analysant le spectre de cette étoile avec le fameux télescope de 5 m du mont Palomar, les astronomes ont considérablement amélioré notre connaissance physique de cet astre, ce qui leur a permis de déterminer que sa zone d’habitabilité doit s’étendre entre 0,2 et 0,4 unité astronomique de lui, soit de 33 à 68 millions de kilomètres de distance ; Kepler-186f orbite donc à l’intérieur de cette zone « habitable. »
Les données observationnelles de la sonde Keplerpermettent de déterminer la dimension des exoplanètes détectées, mais pas leur masse. Les chercheurs ont donc utilisé des modèles d’évolution thermique des planètes pour estimer la composition et évaluer la masse des corps en orbite autour de Kepler-186. Ils concluent que si Kepler-186f était composée exclusivement d’eau sa masse serait de l’ordre de 0,32 masse terrestre, si elle était constituée uniquement de fer, elle aurait une masse 3,8 fois plus grande que la Terre, enfin, une composition de type terrestre, soit un mélange de fer pour un tiers et de silicates pour deux tiers, donnerait une masse de 1,44 fois celle de notre planète. Cette dernière composition étant, bien sûr, la plus compatible avec l’existence d’eau liquide en surface.
Forts de ces informations, les astronomes, notamment Sean Raymonddu laboratoire d’astrophysique de Bordeaux, ont étudié les scénarios de formation permettant d’expliquer et de comprendre l’architecture d’un système planétaire comme celui de Kepler-186. Les cinq planètes connues à ce jour orbitent pratiquement dans le même plan, que l’on pourrait donc comparer au plan de l’écliptique pour le Système solaire, puisque nous pouvons toutes les cinq les voir transiter devant leur étoile. Les dernières évolutions de la théorie de formation des corps d’un système planétaire à partir de la matière d’un disque protoplanétaire en rotation autour d’une jeune étoile indiquent qu’un disque d’une masse initiale de 10 masses terrestres est nécessaire pour former le système de Kepler-186, mais il n’est pas exclu que des phénomènes de migrations planétaires soient intervenus. En réalisant un grand nombre de simulations numériques avec des paramétrages différents, Sean Raymond et ses collègues ont trouvé dans tous les cas qu’une planète stable devait se former entre 0,15 et 0,35 unité astronomique de l’étoile, ce qui correspond pratiquement à la zone située entre les orbites de Kepler-186e et Kepler-186f. Il n’est pas impossible qu’une sixième planète existe entre e et f, mais elle n’a pas été détectée par les observations du satellite Kepler, donc, si elle existe, elle parcourt une orbite inclinée d’au moins quelques degrés qui l’empêche de transiter devant l’étoile vue de la Terre.
Les forces de marées subies par une planète en orbite autour d’une étoile sont d’autant plus puissantes que l’orbite est petite et elles modifient la rotation de la planète sur elle-même jusqu’à ce qu’elle présente toujours la même face à son étoile. Une telle configuration, provoquant une surchauffe d’une face et un froid extrême sur la face opposée, ne serait sans doute guère favorable au maintien de conditions propices à l’émergence de la vie telle que nous l’envisageons sur Terre, même si des études récentes montrent qu’elle pourrait ne pas être aussi handicapante que l’on pourrait le penser, des zones intéressantes pouvant apparaître à la limite entre les deux faces et une atmosphère dense pouvant répartir plus efficacement la chaleur sur toute la planète. Étant donnée leur proximité, il est probable que les quatre premières planètes du système de Kepler-186 présentent effectivement toujours la même face à leur étoile. Comme le flux d’énergie stellaire qu’elles reçoivent est de 34 fois à 3 fois plus important que celui que reçoit la Terre, la température sur la face exposée doit être vraiment très élevée.
L’exoplanète Kepler-186f, en revanche, se situerait suffisamment loin pour ne pas présenter toujours la même face à son étoile et elle recevrait une insolation proche de 0,32 fois celle de la Terre. Les auteurs de l’article de Science précisent qu’une telle insolation est comparable à celle de l’exoplanète Gliese 581d, découverte il y a sept ans par Stéphane Udry et son équipe de l’observatoire de Genève. Or, des études plus complètes de Gliese 581d, qui est en orbite autour d’une étoile relativement proche de nous, une vingtaine d’années-lumière, ont montré que sa surface pourrait abriter de l’eau sous forme liquide. Pour Elisa Quintana et ses collègues, cela ne signifie pas que Kepler-186f abrite obligatoirement de l’eau liquide, mais, si elle possède une atmosphère suffisamment épaisse, alors la température qui doit régner à sa surface est suffisante pour que de l’eau liquide s’y trouve.
« Kepler-186f n’est pas une jumelle de la Terre, c’est plutôt une cousine », dit Elisa Quintana. Elle est trop lointaine pour que les télescopes terrestres parviennent à réaliser aujourd’hui des observations directes et pour que les astronomes trouvent des réponses aux questions qu'ils se posent à son sujet. Mais, par sa simple présence, elle confirme que des exoplanètes de la taille de la Terre peuvent exister dans les zones habitables des petites étoiles. Il ne reste plus qu’à en découvrir une plus proche, une que les télescopes géants en cours de construction pourront étudier directement pour déterminer s’il s’agit réellement d’une nouvelle Terre et si la composition de son atmosphère révèle l’existence de la vie ailleurs que sur notre planète.

60-year old chicken farmer, Joe Simonton, was startled by a strange loud noise outside and above his farmhouse. He stepped to the window and was surprised to see a silvery object coming down vertically in his yard. He approached the object (with no fear), whereupon a hatch in the upper portion opened and he saw three dark-skinned men inside. One of them handed him a silvery jug with two handles, made a motion like drinking, apparently indicating that he wanted water. Simonton took the jug, filled it and handed it back. Looking into the object, he saw a man ‘cooking’ on some kind of flameless cooking appliance. There were several small perforated cookie-like objects beside the griddle, and Simonton motioned that he wanted one, whereupon one of the men handed four of them to him. Then the object took off at a 45-degree angle and was gone in just a few seconds. As it left, pine trees near the take-off path bowed over, apparently as a result of air turbulence as the object went over them. Joe Simonton reportedly ate one of the “cookies” and said they tasted like cardboard. The occupants of the UFO were small, about 5 feet tall, had dark hair and skin and wore dark blue knit outfits with turtle-neck tops and knit helmets similar to those worn under headpieces such as crash helmets. They either had no beard, or were clean shaven. The whole episode lasted about five minutes and Simonton observed a few details of the inside of the craft. It was dull black, instrument panels included, he said, and somewhat like wrought iron. One of the occupants appeared to be cooking and stacked beside the ‘stove’ were some of the ‘cookies’. One man took care of getting water, and the other stayed at the instrument board. The two who were cooking and watching instruments did not look around. Just after Simonton obtained the cookies the man hooked a line or belt into a hook in his clothing near the waist, closed the hatch, and the object raised to 20 feet above the ground, and then took off straight south. The object itself appeared ‘like two washbowls turned face to face’. The sound Simonton heard before coming out of his house was like ‘knobby tires on a wet pavement’. The craft hovered a short distance (probably only a few inches) off the ground all during the episode. The hatch was about 30 inches wide and about 6 feet tall. All this, Simonton admitted was guesswork.

Delfino Garcia Zarate was at his post as security guard at the Technical Secondary school # 98 Mariano Escobedo and was making the rounds in the patio area when he heard a strong sound resembling a bird moving its wings at a very high rate of speed. Curious he looked up in the direction from which the sound originated and was able to see a hairy man-like figure with two huge dark wings. Terrified he ran into the school and hid in one of the schoolrooms until the morning. Around the same time a woman living in the Unidad Puerta Grande suburb was out in her back patio washing some dishes when she also heard a loud thrashing sound overhead, at first she thought it could had been an eagle and looked up but was surprised to see a hairy man-like figure floating overhead on a pair of huge wings, terrified she also ran into the house. Also around the same time in Cocolapam suburb a man and his son were repairing the TV antenna on their roof when they noticed a winged creature, gray and hairy in appearance that was approaching their location from a northerly direction, the winged humanoid glided on a pair of huge wings and quickly disappeared from sight. Another woman reported being awake around 0300A taking a shower when she looked out the bathroom window in the direction of nearby Cerro De Escamela was surprised to see a huge winged dark creature resembling some type of prehistoric being gliding slowly over the area. Others in nearby Cerro del Borrego have seen a similar winged creature.

Anatoly Zubashev suddenly woke up in the middle of the night having been struck on the head by an unknown assailant. Clenching his fists and ready to fight back, looking around he was again slapped across his forehead and sees moving away in the semi-darkness a huge, broad shouldered 2 meter tall h…airy ape-like creature. He could clearly hear footsteps and watched in disbelief as the creature walks through a closed door into the next room, and there the steps cease. Armed with a chair raised over his head he runs into the next room but the room is empty, he searches around the other rooms and the hallway and the creature is nowhere to be seen.
UPDATE De Amerikaanse ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA heeft op een persconferentie aangekondigd dat ze een planeet heeft ontdekt ongeveer ter grootte van onze aarde, die mogelijk water en dus ook leven bevat. De planeet, Kepler-186f, cirkelt rond de dwergster Kepler-186, en wel op zo een afstand dat er mogelijk vloeibaar water aanwezig is.
"Het is de eerste exoplaneet met de omvang van de Aarde aangetroffen in de leefbare zone van een andere ster", beklemtoonde Elisa Quintana, de astronoom die het onderzoek leidde. De bevindingen verschenen vandaag ook in het wetenschappelijke tijdschrift Science.
Binnen 'bewoonbare zone' Rondom de dwergster, die ongeveer half zo groot en kouder is dan onze zon, cirkelen in totaal vijf planeten. Kepler-186f is de verste van de vijf en de enige die binnen de juiste afstand tot de ster staat om mogelijk water te bevatten. Die afstand wordt de 'bewoonbare zone' genoemd, de groene zone op de tweet van de NASA hiernaast. Staan planeten dichterbij hun ster, dan kookt het water weg. Staan ze verder weg, dan krijgen ze niet genoeg energie om een atmosfeer zoals op de aarde te creëren.
Dat de planeet in de leefbare zone is, "betekent niet dat we weten dat deze planeet leefbaar is", aldus Thomas Barclay, co-auteur van het onderzoek. "De temperatuur is sterk afhankelijk van wat soort atmosfeer de planeet heeft. Kepler-186f kan beter beschouwd worden als een neef van de Aarde, dan als een Aarde-tweeling. Het heeft heel wat eigenschappen die lijken op de Aarde." De wetenschappers geloven wel dat op de planeet, die ongeveer 10 procent groter is dan de aarde, door de aanwezigheid van water fotosynthese mogelijk is, wat leven mogelijk maakt. Volgens wetenschappers is de ideale omvang voor een leefbare planeet iets kleiner dan 1,5 keer de omvang van de Aarde.
Het hele systeem bevindt zich op ongeveer 500 lichtjaren afstand van de aarde, in het sterrenbeeld Cygnus.

“A resident of Maassluis last Friday has filmed a UFO. The UFO was over a quarter visible above the Botlek. In the video the UFO observed the object has a blue color, which makes audible sounds and hangs silent a long time. It’s interesting that they say it disappeared into the clouds. Lots of UFO sightings have recorded UFOs coming and going from clouds. This tiny bit of info helps confirm that UFOs do use clouds to hide. SCW

This UFO looks a lot like the UFO that was seen over an airport back in July of 2010 over China’s Xiaoshan Airport. Very lucky and amazing catch on the weather cams. Three couples, including two current police officers hand driven up to the mountain and had parked at a rest stop. They were standing next to their cars talking when they noticed two little men coming down the road ahead of them. The beings were about 4-foot tall, very thin, with lo…ng thin arms and legs, they had large heads and large black protruding eyes and their skin was light gray in color. They wore dark green outfits that covered everything except their faces and hands. The beings walked passed the witnesses speaking among themselves in a peculiar language. They suddenly stopped, did an about face and walked back the same way they had come. At this point two of the men, who were armed, took out their weapons and attempted to follow the beings, but these seem to notice, stopped looked at the witnesses then shuffled into the brush at a brisk pace soon disappearing from sight.

This week’s lunar eclipse has been seen as a sign that an ancient prophecy will soon be fulfilled.
A ‘blood moon’ occurs during a lunar eclipse, an event that takes place when the Moon passes behind the Earth and in to its shadow ( or umbra ).
This week saw the first of four such events set to take place over the next two years and all of them happen to fall upon the dates of Jewish holidays. The eclipse on April 15th will be followed this year by another on October 8th and then two more next year on April 4th and September 28th.
This procession of dates coupled with the unusual frequency with which they are occurring has lead some to read the eclipses as a sign that something significant will soon take place.
“There’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way,” said evangelical pastor John Hagee who believes that the pattern of eclipses could precede significant events in the Middle-East.

When I was younger (on many occasions), weird things would happen around my house, but upstairs in my mom’s bedroom in particular.
One day in fourth grade (I was 9 or 10), I had to go upstairs to get my homework assignment from my mom’s dresser, as she would check it every night. I walked casually down the hall to her room and stopped. There was a window above her bed, and in it was the perfect* silhouette of a person. If you took the default display picture they give you males on Facebook, you’d have it. No hair, no ears; just a head, neck, and rounded even shoulders. I knew it wasn’t anyone on the outside of the house because we were up to the second floor I was so terrified, I grabbed my homework and booked it.
A time later, I was bored and young (maybe a year older than I was during the previous incident), and I happened to have a mirror with me. So with it, I look at the things behind me (I’m on the couch). And then below and to the left, I see a face peeking out from behind the coffee table. Black hair, pale (almost sickly white skin), dark eyes with deep circles. If you remember the little boy from The Grudge, I shit you not, this kid looked just like that. As soon as I recognized facial features, I whipped right around to see who’d gotten into my house. There was no one there, even when I turned back to look through the mirror. Nothing behind me could’ve been mistaken for a face.
A few years after that, I was trying to sleep on the floor of my mom’s room. I’d been uncomfortable upstairs for as long as I can remember (especially in my mom’s room/bathroom) , and I hated sleeping alone. So, waiting for my mom to come upstairs and go to bed too, I was listening to my iPod and trying to get sleepy (this was my big music phase), while I’d left the door cracked slightly, so I wouldn’t have to be alone in that room in the dark. Not long after, the door just slams shut. Not dragged across the carpet like if you or I’d done it, but just…slammed. I knew it wasn’t my mom because you can hear when someone comes upstairs due to the floors making noise, even with headphones. Felt someone watching me intently after the door closed.

North Korean officials complain about Kim Jong-un poster
Seeking an suitable image to promote a special offer, a hairdressers in west London attracted more than just extra customers when it used a large poster of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, in its window.
When M&M Hair Academy in south Ealing put up the 1-metre-by-1.2-metre poster featuring Kim’s distinctive short back and sides with longer centre parting and the words “Bad hair day?”, they received a visit from disgruntled North Korean officials. Unbeknown to the salon’s owner, Mo Nabbach, 51, the North Korean embassy is just 10-minute stroll away, inside a modest semi-detached house in Gunnersbury.
“The day after it went up two Asian-looking guys wearing suits turned up. One was taking pictures and the other taking notes,” said Nabbach. “I said to my client at the time, ‘I think they are North Korean officials.’ Then they came in. They asked: ‘Who put that picture up?’ I said I did. He said the pair told him the poster was disrespectful and must come down. They said: ‘That is a country’s national leader.’ I explained to them we often used pictures of celebrities, Lady Diana, Victoria Beckham.
“I told them: ‘Listen, this is not North Korea. This is England.’ They asked for my name and I told them they would have to get their solicitors for that.” Nabbach said he asked them to leave, and later reported the incident to his local police station. The two did not identify themselves as being from the North Korean embassy, he said. But a Metropolitan police spokesman said: “I can confirm that the North Korean embassy have contacted us and that we are in liaison with them. Officers spoke to all parties. No offences have been disclosed.”
Residents panic after chicken begins talking before being slaughtered
Residents of a small town in Nigeria, have fled in panic after a chicken began talking in Arabic before being slaughtered, police said.
Benue State Police said that the incident of the talking chicken occurred at a local market in Makurdi.
Residents living near the Wadata Market, fled as the news of the talking chicken spread like fire. “I heard that the police have taken the chicken into their possession, and that is why the police station is so crowded. Everybody wants to see the chicken talk,” a woman who identified herself as Aishetu, said.
As the residents crowded the local roads police shot tear gas to disperse the crowd and clear the roadways for normal traffic. This was not the first time that an animal began to talk before being killed.
Zalman Rosen, and his worker Luis Nivelo of New York, said that they were about to kill a fish when it began shouting at them. “It said ‘watch out’ and ‘the end is coming,’” Rosen said.
Rosen admitted that in a state of panic he tried to kill the fish, injuring himself in the process and ending up in a hospital. The fish was finally killed by Nivelo and sold. – Your Jewish News
In March 1968, 6,249 sheep died in Skull Valley, an area nearly thirty miles from Dugway’s testing sites. When examined, the sheep were found to have been poisoned by an organophosphate chemical. The sickening of the sheep, known as the Dugway sheep incident, coincided with several open-air tests of the nerve agent VX at Dugway. Local attention focused on the Army, which initially denied that VX had caused the deaths, instead blaming the local use of organophosphate pesticides on crops. Necropsies conducted on the dead sheep later definitively identified the presence of VX. The Army never admitted liability, but did pay the ranchers for their losses. On the official record, the claim was for 4,372 “disabled” sheep, of which about 2,150 were either killed outright by the VX exposure or were so critically injured that they needed to be euthanized on-site by veterinarians. Another 1,877 sheep were “temporarily” injured, or showed no signs of injury but were not marketable due to their potential exposure. All of the exposed sheep that survived the initial exposure were eventually euthanized by the ranchers, since even the potential for exposure had rendered the sheep permanently unsalable for either meat or wool. The incident, coinciding with the birth of the environmental movement and anti-Vietnam War protests, created an uproar in Utah and the international community. The incident also starkly underscored the inherent unpredictability of air-dispersal of chemical warfare agents, as well as the extreme lethality of next-generation persistent nerve agents at even extremely low concentrations. Following the public attention drawn to Area 51 in the early 1990s, UFOlogists and concerned citizens have suggested that whatever covert operations, if any, may have been underway at that location were subsequently transferred to DPG. Open Minds was sent a video of strange blue lights over Singapore. The witness says they watched the object for an hour before it disappeared.
Yesterday we brought you a story about a blue UFO video in the Netherlands. Today’s blue UFO story is from another part of the world. The video was uploaded by a man named Vince on April 8, 2011, although he just sent us the link via our website today. He says the video was taken somewhere on the east coast of Singapore from a balcony on the 25th floor.
Vince used a 12X optical zoom camera, and apparently still has not figured out what he captured on video that day. In the description he writes:
Hovering over east coast beach, dad spotted it first, I took the video from my balcony with a 12 time optical zoom camera, btw i live on the 25th floor of my building. I have no idea what it is, is hovered for an hour + and then vanished. Ufo??
Some people have commented that they think the object is a kite. Putting led lights that give elaborate light shows on kites has been popular lately. You can see some of these kites in the video below of a kite festival in Bristol.
Others have said that the UFO is too high in the sky and too large to be a kite. However, the witness does say the object hovered there for a long period before disappearing. That could make it a blimp. The lights do seem to be angled down towards the ground, much like the blimp in this video.
This would also explain the object disappearing, because simply turning off the blimp’s lights would make the lights vanish.

New Evidence Suggests Pluto Has An Ocean Beneath Its Surface
Astronomers believe that Pluto and its moon were the result of two massive objects slamming into each other. The resulting gravitational dynamic may have warmed the interior of Pluto, creating an ocean comprised of liquid water. Remarkably, this underground sea could still be there.
The idea that Pluto has an ocean underneath its icy surface is not new. Back in 2011, astronomers speculated that, despite its frigid surface temperature, the distant minor-planet could host liquid oceans if two conditions were met. First, it has to have a core rich in potassium to produce enough radioactive decay. And second, the flow of ice on the surface needs to be sufficiently slow-moving (otherwise too much heat would be wasted).
Seems a bit speculative, and it is. But a new scenario, as proposed by Amy Barr and Geoffrey Collins, suggests a different kind of process.
Billions of years ago, Pluto's moon Charon was created after a giant object smashed into its icy mantle. The subsequent release of heat may have melted the interior of Pluto, creating an ocean that would have survived for a remarkably long period. And in fact, it could still be there.
According to the researchers, Pluto may still be warm enough to harbor an ocean beneath more than 62 miles (100 km) of ice. This is possible because liquid water, once mixed with other materials, like ammonia and low-eutectic salts, takes on properties similar to antifreeze.
Tectonic Faults
Excitingly, we may be able to find even more evidence to support this theory once the New Horizons spacecraft gets there in July 2015. Should it detect signs of ancient tectonic activity — which would appear as scars and fault lines on the icy surface — it would further the notion that Pluto had or may still have an internal ocean.
According to computer simulations, these hypothetical tectonic faults — the product of a short-lived tectonic system — would have formed soon after the initial collision when both celestial bodies were still warm. The resulting tidal heating could have fostered a liquid ocean, which would have left its mark on the surface. As the authors write:
Orbit and spin evolution of the Pluto/Charon system is driven by the raising and lowering of tidal bulges on each body. The tidal bulges exert torques which change the semi-major axes of the orbits and the spin rates. The mechanical energy associated with the periodic raiding and lowering of the bulges is dissipated as heat in the bodies' interiors. Changes in bulge height and energy dissipation are thought to drive endogenic resurfacing and tectonic activity on many of the icy satellites of the outer solar system.
But for New Horizons to make the observation of tectonic faults, we'll have to hope that Pluto hasn't produced enough atmospheric weather to erode the surface (which is a possibility).
All this said, because we don't know Charon's precise impact on Pluto's internal structures (mostly because we don't know its exact historical orbital location), two other plausible scenarios exist.
First, Pluto may be a differentiated object with no ocean (with ice above rock). In this case, Pluto's icy shell is stubbornly fixed to its rocky core, which would prevent significant tidal deformations and slow the rate at which momentum is exchanged between the two bodies. The other possibility is that it's just an undifferentiated rock and ice mixture.
Of the three possibilities, the going evidence favors the liquid ocean model.

She had me carefully create a mental construct of such a "room" with a healing table in the center, which was surrounded by comforts, technology, decor and objects that I might ever crave.
I was assured by her that healing would be easier if I asked for healing for only one part of my body and she told me not be afraid of the healer when I was approached as the healer would be from God.
I was instructed that the time and effort I put into creating it, even into the ornate wood design of the handles on the central table, would pay off.
The idea was that if I took time, in fine detail, to build it, a healer will come.
There were other metaphysical preparations involving washing and imbuing myself with different colors of light.
It was, she said, involved healing metaphysics.
Sadly, results were instant, nightmarish and horrid.
I awoke in sleep to find myself floating amongst small medical grey aliens, aboard a craft, in a small, white, medical room.
In the center of a circular room was a grey alien doctor in whites and a grey attending nurse, also in whites, absorbed in reading a chart on a clipboard.
At first, they were unaware of my presence.
Then he turned and without my saying a word he said, "Oh, so you want your back healed, now do you?!"
He growled in rage and in a flash was on top of me, traversing the room in quick jumps like a jumping spider.

Psychics whom are gifted are tapped into that greater "reality" that generally eludes all of us and as such they are far from distorted "mirrors" but act instead as floodlights on flatcars that pierce the darkness.

One early morning three lumberjacks (including two brothers) who were busy cutting trees when they heard a sound like a big animal thrashing its way through the forest, or like branches breaking and rattling, a moment later they saw a cigar-shaped object flying haphazardly in betwee…n the trees and branches and leaves were falling to the ground. The men immediate thought was that it was a small aeroplane, which had lost its wings and was now preparing, without control, for a crash-landing. Approximately 300-400 meters away flowed a river which the aircraft evidently was heading for. It was obvious that the aircraft would hit the ground within a few seconds, so they started to run in the direction where it had disappeared. 15-20 meters before they came out of the forest, the aircraft crashed in a clearing 30-40 meters from the river. They had expected a deafening crash, when the impact of the aircraft with the ground caused the petrol to explode. But it did not happen. Not a sound was heard, but a gigantic flash of light engulfed the whole area like a vast flashbulb, so that the sunlight almost disappeared. The light was so intense that they in fact could see through the trees. For a second he could see the grains of the trees and these were more than one meter in diameter—like an X-ray. Seconds later came a vacuum wave sucking everything towards the center of the light. All 3 of the men tumbled forwards, branches and leaves flying past them. It all probably lasted only a fraction of a second, but one of the men still remembers how he crashed into a tree, time stopped and his whole life was reviewed in his mind in a flash. Even the normal sound of the forest had stopped. When they had recovered somewhat, they went out into the clearing to see what had happened. Nothing was to be seen at the point of impact, only a few piles of timber were scattered around. They looked bewildered at each other and decided to return to work. At the entrance to the forest one of the brothers suddenly shouted, “Here’s a dwarf dressed in uniform. Obviously the plane has crashed in the river and he must have been hurled out.” For awhile they stood paralyzed gazing at the lifeless body. He was small of build, about 110-120 centimeters tall. Around his body a white light vibrated like a halo, when one of the brothers tried to touch the man to see whether he was still alive he retreated with a scream. He was deadly pale and said he felt as if he had received an electrical shock. At the same time the stranger opened his eyes and said in perfect Swedish, “Do not touch me, it will only bring you difficulties.” His Swedish was so perfect that the brothers who spoke a Swedish dialect could not understand very much from what was later said, “Now you know who I am”, he said. He knew it beforehand what they were going to answer and just demonstrated that his question was correctly grasped. Suddenly the main witness became quite calm and studied him closely. He was no dwarf. He was very well built with broad shoulders and normal features. His skin was yellowish like that of an Asian. The eyes were deep socketed and black, without any white around. His face was badly bruised with a couple of large wounds on the chin and on the forehead. It did not bleed but the skin watered around the wounds. The top of his head was slightly downy and the hair almost white. The earlobes were one with neck and resembled a shark’s fin. The lips were wrinkled, narrow and colorless. When he smiled reassuringly—which he did a lot—he revealed a row of small teeth in the upper as well as the lower part of his mouth. The witness especially noticed that his canine teeth were flat and as broad as two of our front teeth. His hands were small with five slender fingers without nails and when he moved his hand it looked as if the ring finger had grown together to the little finger, if not they moved synchronized. His uniform was a reddish metal and appeared glued to his body. It was flexible and followed the movements of the body closely. Head and hands were free, but at the feet the clothing continued into a couple of closed shoes, medium sized. The soles were ribbed and vibrated and for a moment the witness thought of caterpillars on a tank. The stranger looked at the witness and nodded slightly. There was no doubt that he knew what the witness was thinking. With those shoes he could roll forwards and backwards without moving his feet. Around the waist, he had a broad silvery metal belt with an unusually large buckle, which shone slightly in a light-blue shade, which later when he was dead, turned dark blue. In the middle of the buckle was a sign in yellow –U V-. The stranger knew the witness was studying him, and he said, “It is because of the clothing I can stay with you a while. Internally I am destroyed”. His right hand disappeared into his clothing at the hip, where no pocket could be seen. He brought out a rectangular object. It was of the size of a box of matches with 12 small indents. With a slate pencil attached to the object, he engaged the different indents several times. When completed he tried to throw it a few yards away. “Don’t touch it,” he said smilingly. “It will tell my fellowmen what has happened, so that they don’t come looking for me. Where I come from somebody is waiting for me.” The stranger lay for a while as if asleep. His hands were tightly clasped, and it was evident he went through great pains. Suddenly the brothers became somewhat confused, looked at each other, and then went back to the forest without a word. Later—years after when recalling the incident, the witness was convinced that one way or the other the stranger asked the brothers to leave, without saying a word. The witness sat talking and listening to him for two hours before he died. What they talked about for those two hours the witness would not reveal. He only revealed fragments: “The stranger came from a place in the vicinity of the constellation we call ‘The Eagle’” “Several races from space have visited us, some so far advanced that we could only see them when they materialize or dematerialize to visit a parallel universe in the orbit of Earth” “Some visitors kept people on Earth under surveillance and had done so for thousands of years” “Others took samples of the Earth, with a view to later settlements” “Still others had contact with mankind and had for centuries” Just before the stranger died he gave the witness a folded bag from the invisible pocket and said, “When I am dead, the light will disappear from my body and with the help of the other two men you shall put me in this bag and carry me out into the river where I shall disappear. Then you shall rinse yourself thoroughly in the water, so that you don’t get ill.” He was breathing heavily, and the witness could see the end was near. The halo around him became weaker and gradually disappeared. His light-blue buckle gradually got darker. He looked at the witness for a moment and smiled. Then he said something in a language he had never heard before or since. Suddenly he switched into Swedish and the witness got the last couple of sentences” “You have come without any wish to and depart against your own wish our life is like vapor” He said a few more words but his voice was so weak that the witness did not catch them. He is convinced that he prayed to some deity before dying—the witness was very moved. With the help of the brothers they got him into the bag and carried him out into the river. The bag smelled of sulfur and burned their hands as if they were raw flesh. The stranger was quite heavy between 90 and 100 kilos. When the bag came into the water, it started bubbling around it and they realized that some chemical process had started. After 5 minutes nothing remained, and the witness thought that maybe the stranger had hoped to crash in the river to a quick death, instead of lying for a couple of hours suffering. According to the main witness a couple of days after the incident he wandered around where the stranger had been lying. The rectangular object was gone but the pencil slate was lying in the grass shining. He kept it as proof that it had not been a dream.
