Canadian witnesses video UFO at 400 feet

Two Canadian witnesses traveling east along Highway 16 near Marlobo, Alberta, reported stopping and photographing an unknown object hovering above the tree tops about 400 feet away, according to April 29, 2014, testimony in Case 55866 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The two witnesses were returning home from work in Hinton and heading toward Edson when the incident occurred about 4 kilometers east of Marlobo about 1:45 a.m. on April 25, 2014.

“While driving I noticed on the north side of the highway green and red lights low within the tree line,” the reporting witness stated. “It was 1:45 a.m. and it was very dark. The trees are bare. No leaves as this is early spring here so I thought it was a low flying airplane as they carry the green and red lights. I thought I’d seen an airplane flying low on the horizon through the trees.”

But they approached closer to the object.

“As I was getting closer I noticed these lights were not moving and they appeared bigger. It was nothing of significance to us as we thought it was perhaps some sort of tower. Finally we passed the small grove of trees and were able to have the direct visual on these lights. We saw red, green, blue-purple light blinking, sort of pulsating around quite fast. There was also a light at the bottom like a dome light rotating a beam of white-yellow light illuminating the ground and trees.”

They parked their vehicle along the shoulder of the road to get a better look at the object.

“We got out of the truck to snap some photos with our cell phones. The truck was put on park, idling with radio playing – local Hinton music radio station. We were in front of that thing within 400 feet distance as it was just above the trees across the highway right in front of us. It was very dark and the lights it was projecting were very bright, sort of blinding us.”

The two tried to take photos.

“We tried to catch this object on the camera but you could not see it in the LCD display. I snapped two pictures without flash to see if I could capture something. As I was looking through the pictures my friend yelled that the object moved to the right abruptly.”

They tried to capture video too.

“I set up my cell phone on video record mode and recorded the event. I finally could see the object if I zoomed on it all the way – although this object was 300-400 feet in front of us, fairly large, maybe six cars wide, I could hardly see it on my cell phone cam. I recorded about a minute of video.”

The two began to become afraid of their encounter.

“We honestly got a bit freaked out, but I wanted to see it move, so we stayed a bit longer and I noticed that the object drifted slowly to the left.”

The witnesses began to wonder if the lights on the object were an attempt to communicate to them.

“I then thought that maybe that thing is projecting the lights – maybe I should use cell cam flash to signal a couple flashes as a form of communication. I got my phone again. I snapped once and nothing happened, but when I sent the next flash, that thing suddenly made a high pitch, two tones, sound lasting for maybe seven seconds. We got afraid a bit, so we jumped back in the truck and decided it was time to go.”

Back inside their vehicle, they realized the object was somehow interfering with their radio.

“What we noticed inside the cab was a static noise of the radio. Where we pulled over to investigate the object, we were listening to a Hinton music station. Now there was nothing but static noise. Upon that we realized we had just seen a UFO which interacted with the truck’s radio. We took off rather fast, leaving that thing behind.”

As they moved away from the scene, they were relieved that the object was not following them.

“It just sat there over the trees. We were quite disturbed. It was mine and my co-workers first time witnessing a UFO event, especially that close. We talked about that all the way to Edmonton.”

The two pulled over in Edmonton to review the images and video they had taken of the event. The witness included one video clip and four images with the MUFON report: Video, Image 1, Image 2, Image 3 and Image 4. Image 4 is a colorized sketch of the object.

“To our surprise we hardly had any photos on the phones. I shot four pictures in total and made about a minute long video. All I have on my phone is one picture and eight seconds of video. My friend shot over six photos. His phone did not record a single photo. This by far was the weirdest and most interesting experience I have ever had.”

Marlobo, Alberta is a hamlet in west-central Alberta, Canada within Yellowhead County, population 80. MUFON Canada is investigating.

Jupiter’s moon Ganymede may harbor ‘club sandwich’ of oceans and ice

The largest moon in our solar system, a companion to Jupiter named Ganymede, might have ice and oceans stacked up in several layers like a club sandwich, according to new NASA-funded research that models the moon’s makeup.

Previously, the moon was thought to harbor a thick ocean sandwiched between just two layers of ice, one on top and one on bottom.

“Ganymede’s ocean might be organized like a Dagwood sandwich,” said Steve Vance of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., explaining the moon’s resemblance to the “Blondie” cartoon character’s multi-tiered sandwiches. The study, led by Vance, provides new theoretical evidence for the team’s “club sandwich” model, first proposed last year. The research appears in the journal Planetary and Space Science.

The results support the idea that primitive life might have possibly arisen on the icy moon. Scientists say that places where water and rock interact are important for the development of life; for example, it’s possible life began on Earth in bubbling vents on our sea floor. Prior to the new study, Ganymede’s rocky sea bottom was thought to be coated with ice, not liquid — a problem for the emergence of life. The “club sandwich” findings suggest otherwise: the first layer on top of the rocky core might be salty water.

“This is good news for Ganymede,” said Vance. “Its ocean is huge, with enormous pressures, so it was thought that dense ice had to form at the bottom of the ocean. When we added salts to our models, we came up with liquids dense enough to sink to the sea floor.”

NASA scientists first suspected an ocean in Ganymede in the 1970s, based on models of the large moon, which is bigger than Mercury. In the 1990s, NASA’s Galileo mission flew by Ganymede, confirming the moon’s ocean, and showing it extends to depths of hundreds of miles. The spacecraft also found evidence for salty seas, likely containing the salt magnesium sulfate.

Previous models of Ganymede’s oceans assumed that salt didn’t change the properties of liquid very much with pressure. Vance and his team showed, through laboratory experiments, how much salt really increases the density of liquids under the extreme conditions inside Ganymede and similar moons. It may seem strange that salt can make the ocean denser, but you can see for yourself how this works by adding plain old table salt to a glass of water. Rather than increasing in volume, the liquid shrinks and becomes denser. This is because the salt ions attract water molecules.

The models get more complicated when the different forms of ice are taken into account. The ice that floats in your drinks is called “Ice I.” It’s the least dense form of ice and lighter than water. But at high pressures, like those in crushingly deep oceans like Ganymede’s, the ice crystal structures become more compact. “It’s like finding a better arrangement of shoes in your luggage — the ice molecules become packed together more tightly,” said Vance. The ice can become so dense that it is heavier than water and falls to the bottom of the sea. The densest and heaviest ice thought to persist in Ganymede is called “Ice VI.”

By modeling these processes using computers, the team came up with an ocean sandwiched between up to three ice layers, in addition to the rocky seafloor. The lightest ice is on top, and the saltiest liquid is heavy enough to sink to the bottom. What’s more, the results demonstrate a possible bizarre phenomenon that causes the oceans to “snow upwards.” As the oceans churn and cold plumes snake around, ice in the uppermost ocean layer, called “Ice III,” could form in the seawater. When ice forms, salts precipitate out. The heavier salts would thus fall downward, and the lighter ice, or “snow,” would float upward. This “snow” melts again before reaching the top of the ocean, possibly leaving slush in the middle of the moon sandwich.

“We don’t know how long the Dagwood-sandwich structure would exist,” said Christophe Sotin of JPL. “This structure represents a stable state, but various factors could mean the moon doesn’t reach this stable state.

Sotin and Vance are both members of the Icy Worlds team at JPL, part of the multi-institutional NASA Astrobiology Institute based at the Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif.

The results can be applied to exoplanets too, planets that circle stars beyond our sun. Some super-Earths, rocky planets more massive than Earth, have been proposed as “water worlds” covered in oceans. Could they have life? Vance and his team think laboratory experiments and more detailed modeling of exotic oceans might help find answers.

Ganymede is one of five moons in our solar system thought to support vast oceans beneath icy crusts. The other moons are Jupiter’s Europa and Callisto and Saturn’s Titan and Enceladus. The European Space Agency is developing a space mission, called JUpiter ICy moons Explorer or JUICE, to visit Europa, Callisto and Ganymede in the 2030s. NASA and JPL are contributing to three instruments on the mission, which is scheduled to launch in 2022 (see http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?release=2013-069).

Other authors of the study are Mathieu Bouffard of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France, and Mathieu Choukroun, also of JPL and the Icy World team of the NASA Astrobiology Institute. JPL is managed by the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena for NASA.

MILITARY PASSANGER CAPTURES ALIEN CRAFT OVER ATLANTA

Hi. My name is Andy I am a former US Navy AMS/Airdale and flyer. I was on a flight from my home in St Thomas USVI to Atlanta, Ga in December of 2013. I hadn’t flown in several years, and being excited to go home and see my family and friends, I was randomly taking video of the clouds and ground. Yeah I know …korny. Bear with me. I didnt’ realize until I got home from my vacation 10 days later and was watching all my videos and reviewing pics that I had captured something that I cannot explain. It is very large and seems to be moving from left to right in the top of the screen. It was at a great distance away…I’d say 20 miles out…and had to have been ‘miles’ across to be visible at that distance.  I have flown with the Navy and all over the US and Caribbean for many years. This is simply a huge object. I posted it on facebook to some close friends and several thought it was exceptional. The reason I am sending this to you is that I happened to see a show on H2 (UFO Hunters) today [episode original airing 02-04-09] and two different pilots (A British guy and a French) seemed to have seen the same thing I did. The difference is that his object seemed to emanate light while mine seems to be very black. After watching the video several times I also noticed a flat contrail from the top right of my video that appears to lead right to the object in the distance.

The Genesis of Homo Sapiens and Our Extraterrestrial DNA

The mysteries of ancient history, such as how the Great Pyramid was built and by whom and why, have been well established over the past four decades. The essential questions that has been studying over the past three decades are:

1) how did life originate and evolve on Earth?, and

2) how did civilisation suddenly emerge from mankind’s primitive roots?

The “ancient astronaut” theory generally includes the idea summed up in the first chapter of Genesis, which indicates the “gods” genetically engineered a proto-human race. The actual verse reads, “Let us make man in our image.” If Darwinism is accurate then this assertion would be untrue and the notion of cosmic intervention by an advanced race would fall apart.

The second reason is Darwin’s theory has not only been applied to biology, it is also used to explain the emergence and development of human civilisation by a process referred to as cultural evolution.

At its core Darwinism is based on a simple concept: life evolves slowly via a process of incremental adaptations to a wide variety of external stimulus. He applied it to biology and anthropologists, archaeologists and historians applied the same principles to culture and human history. If this is correct then we should not find any abrupt transformations in human “evolution” either biological or historical.

I reason that if Darwinism is accurate then there may not be any valid scientific basis for the “ancient astronaut” theory, which posited intervention and rapid-fire metamorphosis in both the biological and historical spheres. The results of this research proved surprising 

Darwinism is not only unproven – it has been shown by scientists to be fatally flawed.

This is where my book, The Genesis Race, begins... Chapters two and three clearly show the flaws in the theory of evolution. It has failed exactly where Darwin feared it might – in the fossil record. Here we find – instead of widespread confirmation – a large number of missing links.

The general public is given to believe the only “missing link” in the fossil record exists between apes and man. This is not true. The fossil record contains hundreds of gaps between ancient and modern plant and animal species.

Darwin referred to the gap separating the primitive non-flowering plants (gymnosperms) and flowering plants (angiosperms) as the “abominable problem.” Why? Because the gymnosperms, like ferns, existed for billions of years and they still exist today.

The angiosperms, like roses, appeared on the scene about 150 million years ago and they exist today. Where is the evidence showing the fern evolved through a series of slow, incremental changes into a rose?

According to Darwinism the angiosperms evolved from the gymnosperms. If this is true then where are the intermediate forms linking the two very different types of plants? They have not been found in the fossil record and none exist today. This seems impossible and it is if you accept the principles of Darwinism.

There is no scientific explanation for the lack of intermediate plants linking the ancient and modern types. In fact, there should be millions of such fossils since they would have been evolving for hundreds of millions of years, far longer than flowering plants.

Scientists also have no explanation why gymnosperms and angiosperms exist side by side. Somehow all the intermediate plants they say connect the two kingdoms mysteriously vanished from the fossil record and became extinct. Logic would dictate that the older, ancient plants (non-flowering) should have been the ones to go the way of extinction.

This is actually enough evidence to kill Darwinism. Official science would have us believe the only dissenters against Darwinism are Creationists that come from the ranks of the Religious Right.

However, I present numerous references to bona fide scientists that slam the door on Darwin’s theory of natural evolution.

What is, or should be, of great interest to anyone interested in the pursuit of science – as it applies to getting to the truth of human origins and the emergence of civilisation – are the works of Francis Crick and Fred Hoyle.

While Von Daniken’s books were becoming popular in mainstream culture, these two eminent scientists wrote books about the origins of life on Earth. Both were highly critical of Darwinism and posited that life did not originate on Earth. They said the seeds of the biosphere originated in the cosmos.

In his book Life Itself, Crick – a Nobel prize-winner and the co-founder of the shape of the DNA molecule – claimed an advanced civilisation transported the seeds of life to Earth in a spacecraft.

Hoyle, an astronomer who gave the world the steady state theory of the Universe, proposed that life came from the stars borne on comets or riding on the currents of light waves.

The unfortunate thing is these rigorous scientific arguments were largely dismissed or completely ignored by “official science”, and also overlooked by the same folks embracing Von Daniken’s relatively unscientific, yet popular approach. (Erik did make people question and think.)

I want to clarify what I mean by that statement. Von Daniken claimed he was presenting a theory yet the title of his first book ended with a question mark.

A new theory is normally offered by presenting arguments against the currently accepted theory, as Crick and Hoyle did, and it is presented assertively with equal measures of humility and confidence that do not end in a question mark.

His somewhat insecure and uncritical approach has characterised much of the “ancient astronaut” literature, which official science finds easy to debunk.That is why The Genesis Race begins with a serious critique of Darwinism.

That is followed by several chapters re-examining the account of human genesis and the early history found in the Bible. A revolutionary analysis of the first three chapters clearly shows there were two creation events of life (and mankind) on Earth.

It also shows the history given in the Bible agrees with the findings of paleontology and anthropology. In the first chapter we find that an early proto-human race was created and lived in the wilderness, like other animals, as hunter-gatherers. They were given “every green thing to eat” by the gods andGenesis 1 ends with that covenant.

However, in the second chapter we are told Adam is created to be a gardener and Eve is taken from Adam’s rib and the “gods” give them clothing and self-awareness. The chronological account of Creation in the second chapter is entirely different than that of the first chapter of Genesis.

This is a critical point. Not only do the two accounts differ completely, we find Adam is not to live in the wilderness as an animal but is intended to be a caretaker and farmer. If the two accounts are compared side by side the difference is obvious:

Adam and Eve are not equivalent to the race created in Genesis 1; and Genesis 2 and 3 are not a detailed elucidation of the events described in the first chapter, which is normally implied or taught in church Bible classes.

What the first three chapters of Genesis actually describe are:

1) the creation of a proto-human race, the pre-Neanderthals and Neanderthals who live as hunter-gatherers in an innocent state as described in chapter 1, followed by,

2) the genesis of modern Homosapiens (Adam) fit for the agricultural revolution.

That is exactly the history given in Genesis and it agrees with everything modern science establishes about the chronology of human pre-history.

This is a radical revision giving much stronger support to the Biblical version of human genesis and how and why the agricultural revolution took place.

It also clarifies who the “us” refers to when God is abruptly referred to as ‘a plurality’ that intervenes and genetically alters life on Earth, the Genesis Race; and it sets the stage for a presentation of the enigmatic archaeological and additional evidence that further supports the theory of intervention by a technologically advanced extraterrestrial race.

Archaeology has never even addressed all the questions raised by the sudden emergence of agriculture and highly advanced civilisations in Mesopotamia and Egypt in the 3rd millennium BCE, let alone answered the most critical ones.

From the perspective of conventional archeological and anthropological thinking, the origins of humankind and the emergence of civilisation from the Stone Age remain enigmatic. We have incontrovertible proof our ancestors could not have built the Great Pyramid with the tools and methods they possessed.

Yet official science simply ignores or tries to explain away many serious questions and issues such as how the Great Pyramid – the world’s largest precision-engineered stone structure – was constructed using only hammer-stones, ropes, manpower and sledges.

However, there are other issues that need to be addressed and today’s genetic research is shedding new light on this field. The implications of several important recent findings seem to have escaped the attention of many independent investigators.

Established archaeologists and anthropologists have either ignored or railed against the findings of these controversial DNA studies. I am referring to genetic studies into the origin of the domesticated dog and into the diet of our Paleolithic and early Neolithic ancestors.

You may ask what do the dog and Stone Age dietary habits have to do with solving the enigmas of mankind’s ancient past? The answer is everything.

Until recently it was believed dogs (Canis familiaris) came from a variety of wild canines such as wolves, coyotes, dingos, jackals, etc. But the latest DNA research shows that the wolf alone is the ancestral race of all dogs.

This poses a set of very difficult problems. The first dog would have been a mutant wolf. However, wolves are extremely sensitive to the genetic fitness and strength of each member of the pack. They are constantly testing and establishing a stringent social pecking order and only the alphas reproduce.

So how would a mutant ever have survived and reproduced given the rigours of pack behaviour? No wolves in captivity have produced viable mutants and geneticists tell us mutants are normally unfit and do not survive.

We are faced with a real conundrum. If we pose that early human tribes intervened and bred wolves into dogs we are faced with an equally impossible scenario. How could primitive humans have known it was possible to selectively breed a wild animal into one possessing only those traits beneficial to them?

We take the characteristics of dogs for granted, however, they present us with a profound mystery. A dog is the embodiment of only those wolf traits that people find useful, attractive and safe.

How did genetically illiterate Stone Age humans achieve this feat of genetic engineering?This problem is compounded when we are confronted by evidence from our earliest civilisations showing that salukis, sighthounds and the pharaoh’s hound, had already been bred in ancient Sumeria and Egypt.

How is it possible our ancestors, recently emerged from the Stone Age, could have successfully engineered purebred lines at the onset of civilisation? In addition, dogs are not only temperamentally different than their wild progenitors, they differ physiologically as well.

A wild alpha male and female only breed once a year, whereas dogs can breed any time. Wolves shed their winter coats, dogs do not. These diverging physiological characteristics take time to develop, in fact, many generations. Again, how did our ancestors at the onset of civilisation accomplish this?

This mystery is underscored by the fact most of the modern dog breeds originated thousands of years ago. Science has not even addressed most of these issues let alone have the experts satisfactorily explained how wolves became dogs – 100,000 years ago – nor have they shown the step-by-step transitions.

Purebred dogs just suddenly appear in the archeological record as if by magic. This is also true of agriculture and our key cereal and legume crops. Wheat, corn, beans and rice pose a second set of genetic enigmas.

Research into the dietary habits of Stone Age tribes around the globe show our ancient hunter-gatherer ancestors subsisted on leafy plants and lean muscle meats. This makes perfect sense because these foods were readily available, took little or no processing, and wild game could be cooked over an open fire.

The problem with our grain crops, and they are the basis of civilisation, is wild grass seeds are so miniscule the cost/benefit of harvesting them was not in favour of it. They also require harvesting, threshing and cooking technology since they have to be boiled extensively. This was technology Stone Age Man lacked.

The reason grains have to be cooked is that the human gut is not adapted to digest wild grains. This makes it very clear the use of wild grass seeds as a primary food source is of recent origin. Our Paleolithic ancestors did not subsist on them.

Once again, this poses a set of formidable problems that need to be studied rigorously. If our ancestors did not harvest and eat wild grains, how could they have domesticated and bred the wild species so quickly?

Without many generations of trial and error experimentation – culminating in a vast body of agronomic knowledge and agricultural practices that would have included genetics and breeding – it is all but impossible to understand how the agricultural revolution was brought about.

Official science tries to explain the evolution of nomadic hunter-gatherers into sedentary, crop-growing farmers by claiming they discovered crops quite by accident. We are told it happened when a primitive villager tossed a seed bearing plant into the trash pile and noticed that it sprouted.

But that trite tale can hardly explain how they selected the best wild species to use as the basis for the agricultural revolution. There are thousands and thousands of potential wild plants that could be turned into agricultural crops.

How is it people with very little experience with wild grasses were able to pick the best varieties to breed? This represents a quantum leap. What we are asked to believe is that our ancestors, without much experience at the seminal stage of civilisation, were able to select and breed the very best varieties of wild grass species.

How do we know this is true? Because we still grow the very crops they supposedly selected even after 5,000 years of continuous technological and agricultural development.

We are asked to suspend disbelief and accept they also constructed the largest precision-engineered stone building the world has ever seen – the Great Pyramid of Giza – using only primitive hand tools and backbreaking labor. Something is obviously wrong with this picture.

Is it logical to assume our Earthly ancestors could (or would) have thrown together the agricultural revolution and then the entire civilisations of Sumer and Egypt out of whole cloth? No it is not; and neither do these suppositions represent sound science.

For those of us in the alternative history camp, one of the most fundamental questions we must impress upon the public and upon ‘official science’ is to ask where are the antecedents and precedents?

Show us the slow Darwinian stages of development that official history presupposes. How can you explain the sudden appearance of genetically altered food crops and advanced engineering techniques at the onset of human civilisation?

We need step-by-step documentation and incontrovertible evidence and it ought to be copious and devoid of missing links since we are supposedly talking about events that occurred thousands and not tens or hundreds of millions of years ago, as is the case with biological evolution.

Where did our Paleolithic ancestors acquire the knowledge and skills to breed wild plants into food crops while also constructing planned cities? How did they achieve an exacting command of the principles of civil engineering as exhibited in Sumeria and the Harrappan civilisation of the Indus Valley?

How did humans go from mud huts and collecting leafy plants to building ziggurats, flush toilets, public bathhouses (Mohenjo Daro), making bread in ovens, and inventing process metallurgy seemingly overnight? In plain language, where is the proof – the missing links – demonstrating your (official science) theories are confirmed in the archaeological record and meet simple standards of logic and commonsense?

Turning to what our ancestors in Sumer, Mexico, Egypt and Peru have to say about the origins of agriculture and civilisation we find a very different story. According to the ancient records, written and oral traditions, none of the earliest civilisations claimed they invented it. What is of profound interest is they are in unanimous accord in claiming they were given the arts of civilisation by the ‘gods’.

It is very unlike human nature to give credit to anyone else for anything we have invented or achieved. The ancient Egyptians left copious records of every aspect of their culture in a huge collection of artwork, hieroglyphics and texts.

Yet, we find no reference in their 3,000 year history as to how or why ‘they’ built the pyramids. What a curious lapse of documentation for such a communicative race assuming they did indeed built the pyramids. Would they have omitted any reference to their most important monuments?

That seems a preposterous supposition and yet Egyptologists gloss over it as they do the lack of mummies in the alleged ‘pyramids-as-tombs’ scenario they embrace without blushing.

These are all clues, pieces of a vast planetary puzzle, telling the story of the Genesis Race. The references to these ‘gods’ that arrived on Earth to uplift man are described in the Bible and other ancient texts and traditions. Their megalithic calling cards are found in Egypt, Mexico, Peru and China.

The Darwinian-based theories of ‘official science’, concerning the origin of Man and human civilisation, lead to a series of intellectual dead ends.

If we closely examine the record we find civilisation was founded upon five primary inventions:

1) Agriculture,

2) Urbanisation,

3) Writing,

4) The Wheel, and

5) Process metallurgy.

Now, what happens when we try to uncover the origins of these key inventions in the archaeological and historical record? We find anthropologists and historians positing that agriculture was probably discovered by accident when our primitive ancestors tossed plants into the garbage heap and noticed the seeds produced new plants.

Of course that does not explain what motivated them to plant and harvest wild grass seeds (they almost never ate) and how they learned to selectively breed and domesticate (alter) these plants genetically.

Well, they brush aside these queries with the same logic. This, too, was probably a serendipitous process that moved forward by a series of benign and happy coincidences. We are given to imagine the first domesticated animal, an example of perfect selective breeding, also took place when Paleolithic tribesman – via unknown techniques – domesticated a line of mutant wolves.

Then we learn that process metallurgy, too, was the result of an accident, when someone dropped a piece of malachite into a campfire and observantly noticed that as it melted it produced copper.

In short, the fundamental paradigm ‘official science’ has formulated on how human life originated and how we created civilisation rests on a series of ‘miraculous’ accidents and impossible knowledge and skills!

Egyptologists would have us believe the primitive tribes living along the Nile in oval huts who used mud-bricks to build mastabas for millennia were suddenly capable of advanced quarry operations, stonemasonry, architecture and corporate engineering.

Of course, they cannot explain how these primitive peoples built a massive, precision-engineered pyramid using only round hammerstones, wooden sledges and human labor.

The Egyptian’s could not have built it, did not build it, and never claimed they were the pyramid’s creators.

It is simply not possible to quarry, lift, drag and transport 70-ton blocks of granite 500 miles from the Aswan quarry to Giza and up 150 vertical feet and precisely position them in the King’s Chamber as Egyptologists claim was done.

I have repeatedly challenged Egyptologists, and their irrational, unscientific fellow travelers to demonstrate how the blocks of granite in the King’s Chamber can be quarried and lifted out of the quarry-bed and transported using the primitive tools and methods they claim were used. It cannot be done!

Furthermore, this author claims he can show that any academics – mathematicians, anthropologists and/or engineering professors – who believe and teach these absurdities to students are lunatics running the asylums – our scientific institutions and universities.

This is certainly a serious, bold indictment and yet it must be made because it is true and it is high time to expose the intellectual chicanery and fraud perpetrated upon generations.

I am not making these claims to create a controversy but to resolve a long-standing debate that has profound ramifications since it involves eliminating falsehoods and getting to the historical facts.

How can I make such strong accusations with complete confidence?

First, the author has studied the engineering problems intensively and extensively comparing the building of modern-day monuments using state-of-the-art technology to the construction of the Great Pyramid using primitive tools and methods.

Second, I have examined the recent record of tests conducted by Egyptologists and others trying to prove they could quarry, move and lift blocks of stone using nothing but ancient tools and techniques. Both studies yielded the same results: the Great Pyramid could not have been built with hammerstones, sledges and ramps.

One test filmed by Nova was organised by Egyptologist Mark Lehner and involved leading experts in a variety of fields. The team set out to quarry, move and lift a 35-ton obelisk into place. They failed miserably at every step.

The master stonemason could not quarry the block using the primitive tools he was given. A Cat was called in to quarry the block and lift it onto a flatbed truck; sensing defeat they never even tried to transport it using a wooden sledge. The block was half the weight of one those used in the King’s Chamber.

A Nissan funded Japanese team conducted another serious test in 1978. They set out to build a small-scale duplicate of the Great Pyramid also using the primitive tools and techniques Egyptologists claim the ancients employed.

This group was confident they could demonstrate how it was done. However, when they tried to quarry the blocks they found the hammerstones were not equal to the task. They called in pneumatic jackhammers. When they tried to ferry the blocks across the river on a primitive barge, they sank. They called in a modern tugboat for help.

Then they loaded a block onto a sledge only to find that it stubbornly sank into the sand when they tried to drag it to the site. They called for trucks and loaders. The final coup d’grace was delivered when they were forced to call in helicopters to lift and position the blocks into place.

Even using modern technology the Japanese team found, to their utter embarrassment, they could not bring the apex of their tiny 60 feet tall replica together. They suffered a bitter and quite humbling defeat in the unforgiving Egyptian desert. Their replica of the Great Pyramid turned out to be a joke.

We are supposed to believe men using tools marginally better than Stone Age equipment, quarried, lifted and hauled millions of blocks of stone to form a precision-engineered 4-million ton tomb. Stuff of nonsense!

The conventional scenario is not just an absurd proposition that can only be maintained using intellectual smoke and mirrors, it is downright silly. The real question is, how could anyone with any commonsense have ever believed it?

There are, of course, many other problems with the primitive tools and methods scenario and the Great Pyramid. To begin with Mark Lehner commissioned an engineering firm to study the site.

They found that the 13-acre base had been leveled with an accuracy equal to that achieved by modern day lasers. Are we to believe a 13-acre limestone bench was planed with that degree of precision using rounded hammerstones to grind down the rock until it was almost perfectly flat?

Furthermore, the Descending Passage was actually the next phase of this massive construction project. It too had to be dug out of solid bedrock. The problems with this phase of the project are manifold.

The passageway was only about 3 by 4 feet, just large enough to accommodate one worker at a time. It was dug 150 feet underground maintaining a precise angle of 26 degrees and a negligible deviation from side to side and bottom to top throughout its length. Then it was opened up into several rooms and another passageway. How?

Why would the ancients dig a straight tunnel under a 4-million ton tomb and how was the passageway kept straight and true? Egyptian ‘engineers’ had no more than ropes in their toolkits.

The author can also prove these two phases alone – leveling the base and digging the Descending Passageway – would have required half the time Egyptologists have allotted to the entire construction project. They, in fact, never even include these two phases in their calculations.

But we have other important fish to fry. During decades of research the author noted some curious similarities between Sumer, Egypt and the Indus Valley – the sites of our earliest civilisations – that do not add up. As we all know now, the ruins of Sumer are located in modern day Iraq.

Our history and anthropology books routinely tell us that agriculture and civilisation were given birth in benign and highly fertile river valleys. But when we stop and closely examine these locations we find they are some of the hottest, driest and most inhospitable places on the planet.

The temperatures in these locations for 6 months out of the year are typically between 35-48 degrees Celsius (95-118ºF). It is true the alluvial flood plains of the Nile, Tigris-Euphrates and ancient Indus rivers were fertile.

But it takes considerable agronomic and hydrological knowledge to know this and to convert the marshes and control the floods to turn these wetlands into productive farmland. The question is how did our ancient ancestors, so recently emerged from the hunter-gatherer way of life, so quickly acquire this knowledge and develop these skills?

When we peer out from the ziggurats of ancient Sumer, the sandblasted pyramids of Egypt or the ruined cities of the Indus Valley, we do not see fruited-plains but vast, blistering, desert expanses.

Is it not difficult to envision our primitive ancestors rolling out their blueprints for civilisation while squinting into the sun and deciding this is where the first cities and great monuments would be built and the first real cropland cultivated?

The scenario jars the mind and makes hash out of the comfortable fantasies painted by ‘official science’. Is something starting to smelly funny or is the author’s nose just too sensitive?

I do seem to detect the subtle aroma of too many skeletons and enigmas – having been shoved hurriedly into too many closets and musty catacombs – wafting up from ancient stones and bones…

We have to examine several other items that do not pass the smell test. Sumer, Egypt and the Indus Valley share some other critical features in common which make them unlikely places for primitive peoples to have developed our first civilisations.

We should expect to find civilisations evolving where people had immediate access to a wide variety of resources. The most logical scenario would be in river valleys near forested, mineral rich mountains.

This is a logical expectation since people needed water, fuel (wood) for fires, tool handles and building materials as well as copper, gold and silver to make jewellery and tools and so on.

We would expect to find this association not just to establish they had immediate access to these necessary resources, but also that they had been engaged in a prolonged period of extracting, processing and working with these resources.

Unfortunately, Sumer, the birthplace of civilisation, was completely lacking in forests, minerals and even stones. This is a curious, illogical fact. How did this strange tribe, speaking an odd tongue and calling themselves ‘the black-headed people’, invent civilisation in the middle of a barren desert wasteland?

Egypt was also bereft of forests, as was the Indus Valley. The point is not that civilisation was or is impossible in these areas, but that it is supposed to have originated in these harsh, desert environs lacking many basic resources.

Yet we find the Sumerians ingeniously mining copper and tin and creating the first alloy, bronze, in kilns around 3000 BCE. In rapid-fire succession they invented the wheel, the chariot, the sailboat, writing, cities, labor specialisation, civil engineering and on and on. Ostensibly, the tribes of the Indus Valley and the Nile would soon follow.

They did all this while most of the world’s tribes were still living as hunter-gatherers, another fact that demolishes the theories of cultural Darwinists. You cannot explain the radical departure from the human norm by several tribes without invoking some form of racism or inexplicable genetic deviations.

The other curious features we find in common among Earth’s ‘first’ civilisations are that none of them claimed they invented agriculture, laws, morality or the other prime tools of civilisation.

The Sumerians claimed they owed everything to the ‘gods’ (Anunnaki) that had descended from the heavens to Earth to create and teach mankind the arts of civilised life. The ancient Egyptians referred to the Nefertu who ruled over them during the Zep Tepi (First Time) for thousands of years until they handed over the reigns to the human pharaohs.

Our real human history as handed down by our ancestors is far more exciting and incredible than the pabulum ‘official’ science has been force feeding us for many generations.

Mankind is indeed on the threshold of a re-awakening to a new dawn; the time of profound revelations about the truth of our astonishing origins and history is at hand.

Hitlers Wonder Weapon – “Die Glocke” – The Bell, Wunderwaffe” The Nazi Portal

Put most simply the Nazi Bell was in fact a heavy particle accelerator used as an artificial neutron source to breed Protactinium 233 from Thorium 232. Protactinium would naturally degrade after 27 days into pure bomb grade Uranium 233

Uranium 233 derived from spent reactor waste is often contaminated by Uranium 232 when Thorium 230 gets bombarded by a second neutron, but in a particle accelerator this process does not have time to occur and thus U232 contamination is as low as one part per million and thus as safe to handle as weapons grade Plutonium.  

According to speech notes recently uncovered in KGB archives, Heisenberg advocated harvesting Protactinium for a nuclear weapon at the Harneck Haus conference in July 1942. Later whilst interned at Farm Hall Cambridgeshire after the War, Heisenberg also identified harvesting Protactinium as one of three methods of obtaining fissile material for a nuclear bomb.

The other two of course, being to either enrich U235, or to reprocess Plutonium from spent fuel in a thermal nuclear  reactor… Our history books tell us all about these other two methods in Nazi Germany but are strangely silent on the Protactinium harvesting project. Why is that?

The wartime Chairman of AEG, Herman Bucher revealed to OSS informant Erwin Respondek that his company was funding development of a Heavy Particle Accelerator for the Atomic Bomb Project at Bisingen.

The process harnessed the fluorescent quality of Mercury to cause collisions between electrons and photons, which in result released thermal neutrons. The device was surrounded by a concave beryllium mirror to reflect neutrons back into a mass of Thorium oxide placed at the core. The machine generated this X-ray plasma in orbit around an axle which spun two carefully frequency  phased contra-rotating drums.  

Respondek also revealed to the OSS that Heisenberg worked closely with Swiss engineer Dr Walter Dallenbach at a secret facility known as “Forschungsstelle D” at Bisingen to develop the Nazi bell. A report by the OSS in November 1944, cited information from an engineer named  Nagglestein who related Otto Hahn’s laboratory at Tailfingen in a town close to Bisingen was using Thorium to obtain Uranium for an Atomic Bomb.

Inside the Bell was located two contra rotating drums. Norwegian born physicist Rolf Wideroe wrote in his autobiography about development of the Bell at Hamburg, by the company CHF Muller. In his patent his diagrams showed one sphere inside another spun on a common axle. As is common with particle accelerators a vacuum has to be created to propagate plasma inside these evacuated chambers. Then heated mercury vapour would have been bled into the cavity and then once spun up subjected to powerful discharges of electricity to ionise the Mercury. Under this influence the Mercury would fluoresce and photons would collide with extremely energetic electrons, creating Gamma X-rays. These X-rays in turn would stimulate the Beryllium oxide in the Xerum 525 to emit thermal neutrons. In turn these thermal neutrons would be absorbed by the Thorium 232 changing it into Protactinium 233

. 

Wideroe called this device the Wirbel-Rohr, or Vortex Tube. Patents for variations on the same theme had been applied for in 1935 by both Prof Max Steenbeck and his rival Swiss scientist Dr Walter Dallenbach. After WW2 Steenbeck co-operated with the Soviets to replicate the Nazi Bell. The Soviets named it the Tokamak.

The Bell concept exploited an even earlier patent. In March 1934 Hungarian scientist Leo Szilard applied for a patent which was titled “improvements in, or relating to the transmutation of Chemical Elements. His Patent described how radioactive bodies are generated by bombarding suitable elements with neutrons. Szilard went on to describe “such uncharged nuclei penetrate even substances containing the heavier elements without ionisation loss and cause the formation of radio-active substances.”

[1] Mercury (alternate accounts say amalgams of Mercury) were spun inside these drums. In likelihood the Mercury was introduced from beneath as a heated vapour. Jelly like compounds of Beryllium with Thorium were located in flasks contained within the central axis. The Nazis were known to have made special paraffin from Deuterium (heavy Hydrogen) because of it’s catalytic qualities in radioactive exchanges. Mercury also played a role by releasing photons into the plasma. It is the collision of energetic electrons with photons which gives off gamma radiation. 

Beryllium compounds used in the Nazi Bell were called “Xerum 525.” During WW2 Nazi scientists discovered paraffin was useful as a moderator in reactor experiments. Paraffin would fit the description of “Xerum 525″ as a pinkish jelly like substance. Pink colour possibly came from the mixing of Mercury (II) Iodide also known as Red Mercury into the compound, thus by implication Xerum 525 most likely contained Beryllium and Thorium suspended in heavy paraffin.

Location

The Nazi Bell was initially housed in a basement beneath the Charity hospital in Berlin and thus the project was known as Charite Anlage.  

From November 1943 the Nazi bell was housed in an underground laboratory beneath Gandau airfield on the western outskirts of Breslau, now known as the Polish city of Wroclaw. Xerum 525 compounds were supplied from a laboratory in the city of Danzig now known as Gydina. After operation the spent and altered compound was reprocessed at a laboratory west of Breslau then known as Neuberg. 

It was shifted from Gandau in November 1944 to Furstenstein Castle and later in December 1944 located inside Wenceslas mine. Following the war Professor Manfred von Ardenne led two Soviet scientists Nicolai Flyerov (aka N.I. Frolov) and Igor Kurchatov to the Wenceslas mine and gave them a description of installing what he called a cyclotron in the mine. 

This mine was abandoned before the war. Above ground there was a power station with two steam cooling towers. The bases of these have become known by various names like the “Henge” after Stonehenge, or the Fly Trap. Bizarre claims are made by some that these are related to Nazi UFOs.  

Near the mine entrance Nobel Dynamit AG operated a bullet manufacturing plant. Wenceslas mine was also known by it’s codename Komplex Milkow. A short distance away was Ludwikowice. The area in wartime had been part of Germany’s Silesia region, but after the war most Germans were forced into East Germany and their homes were turned over to Polish refugees. In German the village was called Ludwidsdorf.

Witnesses

A constant criticism of the Bell story is that it is a myth based entirely upon the unverified claims of Polish author Igor Witkowski. In fact there are others who contribute small portions of the story who are also witnesses to the Bell at Ludwikowice.

Other individuals who may not have first hand witnessed the Bell device itself have also contributed to understanding the project surrounding the Bell. Dr Ronald Richter strove to recreate the Bell project in Argentina after the war and the dismantling of his Bell device under political pressure applied upon Argentina in 1952 grant further insights.

It is also worth noting that Ardenne disclosed to Frolov that whilst Ardenne had installed one cyclotron like device in the mine at Ludwikowice, he said there was already another one inside the mine. At Bissingen in April 1945 the French captured what appears to have been another, incomplete Bell device created by the Swiss scientist Dallenbach. When ALSOS reached the Austrian town of Melk they came across another nuclear project with what was termed a transformer room. Dr Rolf Wideroe after the war referred to a device known as an X-ray transformer which also appears to be the Nazi Bell. 

At least four such devices may have existed including Bells at Melk, Bissingen and Ludwikowice. Furthermore a giant underground transformer room at Jonsthal may have contained yet more Nazi Bell machines. The contents of Jonsthal remain classified by US authorities. 

The Nazi Bell is intimately connected with the work of Swiss Plasma physicist Dallenbach’s work with Forschungsstelle D. Dallenbach was contracted by AEG and his laboratory was located at Bisengen in Germany just north of Zurich. Dallenbach scrupulously avoided giving any impression that he was anything other than a neutral during the war, however he was a fervent Nazi and several slip-ups by Nazi officials and his own deputy, revealed that he was working on an atomic bomb project vital to Germany’s war effort. Dallenbach himself maintained his work was pure research yet during his time in Germany the Nazis refused to fund any scientific work not vital to the war effort.

Charite Anlage
Numerous Top Secret codenames are associated with the so-called Nazi Bell. The term Nazi Bell however is just a modern affectation, due to the device’s resemblance to a Bell. When the Bell arrived in Argentina in May 1945 however, Argentine Intelligence referred in a report classified until 1993, calling this device the “Bell.”

By protocol of the Army Weapons Office session of 21.7.1942, this project was awarded the priority classification “Kriegsentscheidend” – decisive for the outcome of the war – the highest known category of secrecy and funding priority known in the Third Reich. No other known project had it. The electrical giant AEG provided the huge amounts of electrical power under the contract code-name “Charite-Anlage”.

The code name Charite-Anlage co-existed with Project Thor. Priority classification was invoked for the Bell with the Gestapo in 1944, quoted as SS/1940. This classification was cited seeking the release from  of engineer Richard Cremer from a 2 year sentence for defeatist attitudes. The name Charite-Anlage applied specifically to electrical engineering and manufacture of the Bell itself and the supply of power. 

Another code name associated was Der Laternenträger (Lantern Bearer), a loose metaphor for the Light Bearer, Lucifer presumably refers to medical and biological experiments with radiation. It may also refer to the weaponisation of nuclear material produced by the Bell.Der Laternenträger research was based at Furstenstein Castle according to Gross Rosen camp survivour, Professor Mieczyslaw Moldavia. According to Prof Mieczyslaw Moldavia, other Researchers at Furstenstein Castle were also investigating and testing pressure suits for a manned V-2 rocket, known as the A-9/A10, part of a manned two stage rocket for attacking New York.

Rainer Karlsh’s book, Hitler’s Bombe relates that a team of physicists from Leibig University at Giessen carried out a lot of research at Ludwikowize, which is where the Nazi Bell was located. Sporrenberg commented on various animals and personnel dying horrible deaths after exposure to the Bell. He said their flesh would liquify. Giessen is north of Frankfurt am Main and it’s research appears focused on genetics and biological research. Was this ghastly research to discover what radiation could do to Germany’s enemies?

The project was also known as Kronos (Saturn) which refers to spin polarisation plasma physics. Thus it could easily be inferred that the rings of Saturn represent the plasma torus inside the Bell. The Bell exploited spin polarisation of atoms to create a plasma, it would be entirely fitting to apply Kronos to Gerlach’s scientific role. The final, but the most well known code name was Die Glocke. The meaning behind this code name or it’s association is entirely unclear. 

Science behind the Bell

No credible satisfactory explanation of the Bell’s purpose has ever emerged and indeed it’s very existence is still disputed. Facts would suggest however, that the Bell used a hitherto barely mentioned alternate method to acquire fissile Uranium for Atomic weaponry. A photo-chemistry method mentioned in secretly recorded conversations between Nazi scientists interned at Farm Hall near Cambridge after the War.

At Farm Hall after the war, captured Nazi nuclear scientists repeatedly referred to obtaining fissile material from a photo-chemistry process. Our history books are silent on this method.  
As I hypothesize this device worked, vapourised Mercury was spun in a magnetic field to provide excited electrons. Mercury is known to fluoresce easily. Under the influence of an elctro-magnetic filed electrons would disassociate from their atomic nucleii and would swirl around the machine much like a doughnut shaped plasma (toroid). As photons collided with free electrons those collision would generate X-rays.
The spinning of these electrons, probably in an evacuated low pressure chamber with just small amounts of mercury vapour, would lead to faster and faster speeds. With each rotation more and more electrons would be stripped from the Mercury perhaps causing double and triple ionisation.     
Plasma is an electrically induced state of matter beyond those which we are normally used to, like solids, liquids, or gas. We have all see Plasma. It is present in Lightning.
Photo-chemistry:
During their incarceration at Farm Hall scientists, Gerlach, Diebner and Harteck all referred to the photo-chemistry method for obtaining fissile uranium, yet historical accounts of World War 2 remain utterly silent on what the process was which they referred to.
Whilst the science of photo chemistry is understood, the role it played in Nazi science is not mentioned and remains classified.

Photochemistry relies upon ionisation of an intermediary element to create a plasma. In this case using Mercury. X-rays would be generated from the ionised plasma. Sporrenberg referred to use of Beryllium  oxide inside the Bell centrifuge. Beryllium is known to donate slow neutrons when bombarded by X-rays. So how is that useful?

It is worth noting, there are slow neutrons and fast neutrons. Fast neutrons are only useful in fission for the splitting of atoms. What it appears the Nazis were attempting to achieve was fusion ,or the adding of neutrons and protons to Thorium 232 to transform it into Uranium 233.

An element is defined by the number of Protons in it’s nucleus. Normally the number of Protons and neutrons are the same, but in an isotope the number of Protons remains the same, but the number of neutrons can vary in a small percentage of atoms. This could be excess or lower numbers of neutrons. For Thorium to transmute to Uranium requires taking up extra protons. When Protons are emitted that is called Beta radiation.   

Thorium has only one naturally occurring isotope therefore when converted to Uranium it would be relatively free from impurity. This is another important factor for building atomic weapons because more than 0.5% contamination renders U233 impossible to use in nuclear weapons. 

Sporrenberg mentioned Xerum 525 placed at the central axis of the centrifuge. From his descriptions we can postulate that Xerum 525 was probably paraffin impregnated with Beryllium oxide and Thorium oxide.  Sporrenberg mentions red mercury which is Mercury (II) Iodide. This would have caused the red or pinkish colour which the jelly had. Red Mercury scintillates under X-rays and is used as a super-conductor.  

Paraffin works by creating a large cross section, or target and by slowing down fast particles

Archuleta Mesa rises a few thousand feet over the small rural community of Dulce – hub of the Jicarilla-Apache Indian Reservation. A broad aesthetic plateau, it dominates the northern skyline.

Archuleta rock, as locals call it, appears normal. But it’s not what’s on the surface that creates an infamous chapter in the volumes of UFO stories.

It’s what is said to lie beneath.

Ufologists – those who study UFOs – claim Dulce is the site of a massive underground facility operated by the U.S. government and one or more alien races: a seven-story complex that connects to Nevada’s Area 51 and Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. The deeper you go, the darker it gets.

Some call Dulce a Cold War era government fallout shelter, far removed from alien races. Undeniably, residents of Dulce, a two-hour-plus drive southeast of Durango, seem to acknowledge that something is out of the ordinary.

Strong belief in UFOs

Theodoria Burns, a first responder with the Jicarilla-Apache Medical Service, said many Dulce residents believe in UFOs.

“Sometimes, weird things happen, like lights in the sky, different colors that vanish right away,” she said. “You think it’s an airplane, but it’s not.”

She said she has never seen a base, “but they say it does exist.”

The UFO researchers claim reports of strange lights, unidentified flying objects and cattle mutilations are higher surrounding the mesa.

In many accounts, a man named Thomas Edwin Castello, a character many say is fictional, claimed to be a senior security guard at the mesa’s secret underground base. According to lore, he came forward in 1979 with radical allegations.

Castello described a research facility, emphasizing the ominous sixth level, dubbed Nightmare Hall, where appalling operations and experiments were conducted by both humans and aliens.

He claimed alien abductions led to this unremarkable mesa, and what occurs, including cross-breeding and fertilization, is unimaginable.

Drawings surfaced of human-like fetuses in beakers, mutant captives in cages and vats of liquid containing human and inhuman body parts.

Among popular UFO community accounts, Castello claims to have quit his position as a security guard, going into hiding after a purported battle with the aliens inside the mountain, in which 70 humans supposedly were killed.

The resulting “Dulce Papers” proclaim infinite, shocking detail about aliens and secret technologies.

‘I hear things’

Calvin Martinez of Farmington has family in Dulce.

“I hear things. There are a lot of stories,” he said. “But one time I was at a cookout, and there was this light that came up, and it slowly merged across (the southern sky). People were taking pictures. It went around in circles and then back the way it came.”

Martinez mentioned a widely repeated UFO story of a woman who was found – unclothed – running from the mesa near the Navajo River.

“They picked her up, and she said she wasn’t from here, that they were doing all kinds of tests on her in that mountain,” he said.

While many maintain Castello is a fictional character, Paul Bennewitz is not. The Albuquerque electronics specialist ran Thunder Scientific Laboratories in the 1970s when he stumbled on what he claimed were UFO transmissions he traced to Archuleta Mesa, where he learned about the Dulce base. Later, he became convinced of a government conspiracy to discredit him.

In “The Dulce Report,” a published report by political scientist Michael E. Salla, formerly of American University and George Washington University, Salla wrote that when the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations became aware that Bennewitz was gaining attention, they developed an effort to discredit him by providing him erroneous information. Ufologist William Moore later went public saying that he was involved in a plot by the Office of Special Investigations to misinform Bennewitz, keeping him from collecting more accurate information.

Strange tales of aliens in league with the government and strange experiments are common among the UFO community.

New Mexico State Patrol Trooper Gabe Valdez, investigating various local reports, joined Dulce cattle rancher Edmund Gomez, whose cattle were being mutilated, and four other men to explore Archuleta Mesa in 1988. The group saw a UFO, said ufologist Jason Bishop, as well as lights coming from and fading into the mountain.

Several newspapers reported an “experimental boomerang aircraft” in the area, according to Bishop’s account. But Gomez and Valdez were suspicious.

Valdez wrote Dulce Base, a book about his investigations, and even appeared on the History Channel’s UFO Hunters in 2009. He revealed images: disturbing mutilations of cattle and what he claimed was a human hybrid found inside a cow. He also said he found gas masks and even a ballpoint pen at scenes.

A cow’s strange death

A resident who gave only a first name of Dee who works at Players Sports Bar & Grill in Dulce shared her own story from her family’s ranch.

“Our ranch has a canyon, real long, and the cows were way up at the end,” she said. “I guess something chased one down because you could see where it ran into the trees. It died, and where it laid there were three holes in the ground. There were no tracks, and that cow had no blood.”

Dee said she returned the next night, and the cow’s internal organs were gone.

“It had udders, but it was all burned out,” she said.

Cattle mutilations have been reported around Dulce for decades, Valdez said. But it’s the government, not alien activity, he said.

Dee said: “It was happening all over. I don’t know what it was, but the cows wouldn’t go up there for a long time.”

Dulce resident Shane Engle doesn’t believe in UFOs. Still, he can’t explain the time his mother’s car was taken over by an “unknown force” before she regained control. He also can’t account for the lights he’s seen. He does, however, believe in the mutilations.

“My uncle owned a ranch,” he said, pointing south. “One morning, he came out, and all the cows were hollow. No cuts, no wounds. They were hollow.”

Several Dulce residents declined to be interviewed but said that “something is going on up there.”

Norio Hayakawa, director of Civilian Intelligence Central, which bills itself as an oversight committee on government accountability, revealed the name of the base at a conference in 2010: Rio Arriba Scientific & Technological Underground Auxiliary.

One man said while exploring the mesa, he was stopped by “uniformed men who came out of nowhere.”

“That’s all I’m going to say,” he said, and walked away.

Maybe you don’t believe, like Engle, as he described eerie lights over an endless desert sky.

‘Haunted’ house on sale for a song

If you’ve always dreamed of owning a mansion but don’t have the funds required to make it a reality, then this property on the market in Illinois could be just the ticket.

The Hiram B Scutt Mansion, former home of the Civil War veteran and barbed wire tycoon who gave it its name, is up for sale for just $159,900 (£95,000).

Built in 1882, the three-storey, red-brick building in Joliet covers 4,960 square-feet and is on the United States’ National Register of Historic Places.

But as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, that’s probably because it is – the sprawling residence is also said to be haunted, Patch.com reported.

The house was bought by real estate broker Brian Kearney in 2004. Two years later football players from the University of St Francis rented out the building and threw a party.

But during the festivities a 19-year-old man called Steven Jenkins was shot dead.

Within a year of the murder, local historian and John Wilkes Booth impersonator Seth Magosky bought the large house – he planned to open the P Seth Magosky Museum of Victorian Life & Joliet History.

But less than six months later he died suddenly at the age of 39.

And some people believe the two men – as well as the original Scutt inhabitants – live on in the house.

In 2010, Edward Shanahan, a spiritual observer, psychic reader and paranormal host wrote a blog post for Chicago Now in which he described the mansion as a ”paranormal gem”.

He wrote: “The years that have past, has seen many human tragedies within its four walls, from sudden deaths to a murder in the past that have left their emotional energy in the place.”

However, real estate agent Marcia C Cronin told Patch.com that an energy reader had said the mansion is not haunted.

So, it looks like the jury’s out. Either way, it’s a bargain. – Independent

‘Witch’ boasts about human flesh, blood diet

A suspected witch from Pelandaba caused a stir in Mpopoma suburb, Bulawayo, after she ran out of her “witchcraft powers” and found herself at a stranger’s house.

Ellen Khayiya Mpofu, 52, was picked up by police after she invaded Patricia Tshabalala’s house just before 2AM yesterday and claimed that her friends “dumped her”.

Dressed in a wrapping scarf with no shoes and holding a plastic bag with pieces of cloth, mysterious objects and some concoctions, Khayiya shocked Mpopoma residents who learnt she found her way into the house through a locked door.

Stunned residents thronged the house to catch a glimpse of the “witch” before she was whisked away by the police at about 7AM.

Tshabalala said she was asleep when she heard someone scratching the main door from outside and she rushed to check, suspecting that thieves were trying to break into her house.

“I heard what sounded like a pet scratching the door at about 2AM. I listened carefully and the sound continued until I rushed to the door and asked who the visitor was. Before I could get an answer, the door was flung open and a half-naked woman, carrying a plastic bag stood before me,” said Tshabalala.

“I asked her how she had opened the door and she told me she used her fingers. While I was still shocked she tried to push herself into the house and I screamed, alerting neighbours who came and beat her up before interrogating her.”

Tshabalala said the woman, who gave contradictory statements, claimed she had travelled by taxi to Mpopoma from Hillside before her friends dumped her and later revealed that she was riding on a child. “The woman had two twisted fingers on her right hand. She told us it was caused by opening people’s doors during her night escapades. She bragged that she never worries about relish as she feeds on people’s blood and flesh.

“The plastic bag contained blood-stained pants, a bra, a petticoat, a T-shirt, a jersey, some jewellery and pieces of cloth. She was also carrying all sorts of strange things,” said Tshabalala.

Khayiya reportedly told stunned residents that she had three children from different fathers but stayed alone in Pelandaba as she could not stand men.

The woman, who kept on falling into a trance and changing voices, claimed she inherited the witchcraft from her sister, a teacher at a local school.

“One of my neighbours who knows the teacher phoned her and she disclosed that the woman was her sister. She pleaded with us not to beat her up, but she did not come to take her until the police came.

“The alleged witch claimed that her whole family was into witchcraft and said they rode on different people’s backs during the night to travel to different places for witchcraft purposes,” said Tshabalala.

Sacramento woman claims dead boyfriend’s ghost is haunting her car

A Sacramento woman, who was dating a man that died of a drug overdose in 2005, claims that his ghost began haunting her 2002 GMC pickup just days after his death.

Deanna Stinson says she had so many supernatural encounters with the deceased 22-year-old, that she sold the car.

“I could feel touching on my hair and on my shoulders, on my thighs, just everywhere,” she told CBS Sacramento. “My concentration would be lost a lot of the times, but I would just pray, and then it would stop.”

Stinson claims Alex’s presence would be especially strong when she wore a skirt that he really liked.

“I would say, ‘OK, now you’re scaring me, stop,’” she said. “Every time I would think about him, I could feel him.”

When Alex’s ghost followed her to her new car, Stinson called in paranormal investigator Paul Dale Roberts.

After using electronic equipment to test the vehicle, Roberts determined that Alex is “probably not attached to his car, but he’s attached to Deanna.”

Alex might not stay attached for too long, as Stinson and Roberts got married in April. – UPI

As the cloud line receeded, a big, close, full moon appeared, as I stood looking at it, I realized, some thing just wasn’t right, but couldn’t decide what! A friend pulled up and we stood there looking at it and we decided to get a picture of it. We went …to get the 35mm and a beer, 5mins at the most, but coming back out, the moon was gone.As We stood there about 15mins watching the cloud line going down, our moon appeared low in the eastern sky, a little more then half full! That would have put this planet between earth and the moon and it was every bit, as big, as our full moon, when it first comes up. Two days later, I was talking to a truck driver, who sad he heard about it on the radio in California and that’s all I’ve been able to find out. Planet X, is supposed to mess us up when it goes by, unless it hits us, it couldn’t get any closer then this was and there was no earthquakes, or, tidalwaves that day. Guess, I’m hoping some one can shed some light.

When I was little, I used to feel weirdly connected to fairies. I always felt the need to leave things out for them and build fairy houses. I lived in Kennesaw, Georgia at the time.

On February 14, 2001, when I was almost seven years old, I was stuck inside with a cold. I could not go outside, nor could I go to sleep because of an awful headache and cough. My bed was right by a clear window that overlooked the woods. I was in bed, just feeling terrible, and suddenly a calming, happy feeling came over me. My headache was gone and my cough just stopped. I turned over in bed and looked at the window.

I saw a small ball of purplish light in the woods. Oddly enough, I was not scared. I saw the ball of light moving toward my window. Since I did not feel sick anymore, I stood up and looked out my window. I saw what I thought to be a fairy with lavender skin and an almost human face. The creature had brown eyes with no pupil or whites, just brown. They somehow looked friendly,though.

The creature had a teeny pointed nose and tiny feet. It couldn’t have been more than six or seven inches tall. The creature moved its hands in a way that I somehow understood. It was drawing me outside.

I quickly put on my shoes and grabbed a jacket. I ran to the window (my room was in the basement) and saw the delicate little creature standing on the windowsill. All I remember after that was a tiny voice saying, “Be good to us and we shall reward you.” Then, my headache and cough came back and my mom came outside, telling me to come in.

Since then, I have seen no fairies, but have always leave things out for them. My yard has always looked great and I am very happy with my life. I have also taken more care of nature. I still feel like something is watching me when I go into the woods, but it is a good feeling. I will never forget that February 14th.

The Philadelphia Experiment in Time Travel – Part 2

“To this day, there are no credible documents or witnesses to support the Philadelphia Experiment,” Bill Curtis said, smiling as he closed the episode. Marshall was stunned. What he had been led to believe would be a show that would finally reveal the truth, had been just the opposite. None of his evidence was shown, his experiments weren’t even mentioned – they had shown a cheap computer animation instead that wasn’t even an accurate dramatization. There was no mention of Dr. Rinehart or Marshall’s investigation against the Navy. They portrayed Rinehart’s account of how the experiment was accomplished as a only a theory that Marshall come up with. They had researcher Andrew Hochheimer making only skeptical comments when his web site takes one of the closest looks at how it could have happened and comes up with much the same information that Marshall did.

Representing the Navy was naval historian John Reilly, in the role of the apologist, saying among other things, “I have no knowledge of the Navy ever having tried to make ships invisible using magnetic fields,” as if that were a legitimate statement. Marshall knew better. So did segment produced Mark Caras. When Marshall wasn’t shown giving his rebuttal to such typical Navy side-stepping he knew that this had gone wrong. This wasn’t what Caras and he had agreed upon. Neither was Goerman’s completely unchallenged litany about his investigation against Carlos Allende. The worse was when Goerman made the statement about how other researchers had ignored his findings against Allende because they wanted to sell their books. Then the program cut to Marshall, as if he were one of these researchers, an editorial act that Marshall refers to as “defamatory”.

“I was in complete shock.” he recalls. “I felt lied to and violated. It’s one thing to lie to someone in order to find out the truth, but I was lied to so they could use me for a straw man. They set me up, gutted my entire argument, took out all my evidence, and then they lied about what the truth was and presented a completely false version of the facts. It was the opposite of the slogan, ‘the closest you’ll ever get to the truth’. It was the furthest thing from it.”

At first Marshall was worried about damage to his reputation. The Vallee campaign was beginning to cool down. He was worried that his enemies may have seen the program and try to use it against him. Friends on the net assured him that all seemed to be quiet. It turns out that, along with being merely a knock off of “Sightings,” “The Unexplained” isn’t watched much by the professional research crowd and their associates.

“I was in complete shock… I felt lied to and violated.”
Marshall had heard that Bud Hopkins, the abduction researcher, had received similar treatment from the TV show “Nova” and decided that he wasn’t going to just cry foul. Marshall had a weapon, the faxed questions for the program on the Towers Productions letter head. He would use his contacts and skills as a video producer to create a program that would set the record straight by producing a 60 minute rebuttal that would reveal the truth. He would show how “The Unexplained” didn’t by showing him answering all the questions that he had originally been asked. Then he got word that he should check http://www.aetv.com (scroll down to where it says “Unexplained” and click on ‘comments’.) On the second page, under “Strange Disappearances,” Robert Goerman had posted a message proclaiming (in all caps) that the show had taken “the high road” and that the story of the “experiment” had cost too much of the researchers time and resources. That was the last straw

List of questions for Marshall. The “x”s mark the ones that prove the show’s prior knowledge of information that was left out.

“I think up to that point Marshall was just wanting the information that had been missing to come out,” a friend remarked. “But the Goerman thing was it. It was rubbing salt in the wounds and from that moment on, it was war. Marshall was after all of them and he wasn’t going to stop until he had enough to discredit Goerman, Reilly, and Towers Productions for setting him up in the first place – ‘scorched earth’ scenario all the way.”

Indeed, the rebuttal program became a full fledged intelligence operation. It was as if “The Unexplained” hadn’t taken him seriously – not as a researcher, and certainly not as an investigator. So Marshall was going to do what an investigator would do – get the evidence and nail them to the wall. Goerman had made the same remarks on the message board for “Quest For The Truth,” a Philadelphia Experiment site with a fair but skeptical tone. It’s web master, Mack Shelton, had posted a veiled reference to Marshall’s appearance on the program, commenting about “people who get on TV making claims without any evidence…” But Marshall figured that was expected, since that’s exactly what Caras had shown. But when Marshall realized, at the same time, that Shelton had boldly and falsely claimed in the text of his site that Moore’s ‘Dr. Rinehart’ was an exact word for word copy of the character in the sci-fi book, “Thin Air,” Marshall decided it was time to take out all the major detractors, along with “The Unexplained.”

The first step was to set a strategy. He already had the questions. What he needed was definitive proof that Goerman had formulated his hoax theory while ignoring evidence that was in his possession. That would be the William Moore book. To do that he would have to get Goerman to talk. No problem. A basic ‘sting-op’ procedure. He also wanted to do the same to the Navy’s John Reilly, because he needed definitive evidence that nothing the Navy would say about the Philadelphia Experiment would be the truth. After all, if the Philadelphia Experiment did happen, it would still be top secret. They would have to deny it the same way as the Air Force denies the existence of Area 51. In particular, Marshall wanted to prove Reilly’s comment of “having no knowledge of such a test,” was irrelevant.

“I was shocked when he said he had never heard of Area 51…He swore up and down that he had never heard of it and didn’t know what it was.”
Then there was the Towers Productions and Mark Caras. Caras had warned Marshall that changes would be made in the show, but Marshall didn’t trust Caras anymore. When Caras acted as if there was something wrong with the video of his experiment, it didn’t make sense. Marshall never forgot it. Now it seemed that it could be a clue that Caras may have been more involved in what happened than he revealed. Jonathon Towers and Caras would have to be dealt with as well, but Marshall decided to go after Reilly first.

Contacting a cyber journalist friend for back-up, Marshall called Reilly, posing as a reporter, and got his permission to tape the call. The strategy was simple and it worked like a charm. “I buttered him up first,” Marshall explained, “telling him that I saw him on “The Unexplained” and was working on a follow-up story. Then I just let him run his mouth, walked him down the garden path ’til I got him where I wanted…” Where Marshall wanted him was the same place that the old TV attorneys got their hostile witnesses under cross examination. The so-called “Perry Mason” moment when the witness is caught in the obvious lie or subterfuge. Marshall discovered a few unexpected gems in the process.

“I was shocked when he said he had never heard of Area 51,” Marshall said. “He swore up and down that he had never heard of it and didn’t know what it was.” Marshall had brought up the infamous secret base in the Nevada desert as an example of military denial of top secret information that is still known in the public domain. “So I’m thrown off guard by this because I’m thinking ‘he’s just doing what the policy dictates’ and he was protesting his ignorance so much that I didn’t want to get sidetracked. So I asked him what his clearance level was and he said it was Secret. Then I said, “So that means that if something is Top Secret, then you can’t know about it, correct?” He said, “Yes.” So I knew I had him, but I went in for the kill.”

Marshall then followed up by asking Reilly point blank if his Secret clearance also meant that if something was Top Secret from W.W.II, and was still Top Secret today, that he also would not be cleared to know about it. “Yes, I suppose you’re right.” Victorious, Marshall thanked him for his time, leaving Reilly somewhat puzzled and apprehensive sounding. He should have been. Marshall had just got him on tape disqualifying his statement on “The Unexplained.” But Marshall wasn’t done with him yet.

Next on the list was Goerman. The same method was used and yielding equally surprising results. Goerman was cocky, saying, “You know I used to be a player,…” describing how he had been a UFO pulp magazine writer in the 70′s and ran with high profile researchers, dropping out after his work exposing Allende failed to get him the kudos he felt that it deserved. Marshall didn’t care. He asked Goerman if he had written his article exposing Allende before or after he read the William Moore book. Goerman said that it was after he read the Moore book because it was the Moore book that caused him to write the article.

“So you do remember Dr. Rinehart?” Marshall asked. “Yes, I remember a character named ‘Dr. Rinehart’,” Goerman responded, sounding rather surprised by the question. Marshall ignored the obvious reference to the idea that Rinehart was just made up by Moore. When asked if he had checked out the information about Rinehart, Goerman said ‘no’. Marshall pressed on, quizzing the ‘player’ about his lack of inquiry into the claims of the scientist. He listened as Goerman buried himself deeper and deeper. Goerman made it clear that he felt that Allende had made the whole thing up and so felt no need to do any further investigation. In other words, Goerman hadn’t done any real investigation because he hadn’t checked out all the available information. “If Allende made it all up, I don’t see what Rinehart has to do with any of it,” he stupidly insisted, oblivious to the fact that, if Rinehart’s statements were found to be accurate, then Allende didn’t make the whole thing up – or at least not all of it.

Slowly but surely, Marshall’s contention that “The Unexplained” allowed irrelevant testimony to stand unchallenged was being proven. But he wasn’t done yet.

Marshall wanted all the evidence he could possibly get. He had the oversized envelope that Caras had used to mail back the 3/4″ video tape of his experiment which succeeded in making a full scale replica of the Santa Maria look like a transparent mirage. He filmed a segment for his documentary showing this tape being pulled from the envelope, going directly into a playback machine and then showing the experiment saying, “this is what they didn’t want you to see.” This wasn’t enough though. He had a reference in the questions about his experiments but he wanted definitive proof that Caras knew the experiments dealt with invisibility effects and then didn’t show them.
Remembering Caras had bought some of the diffraction material, Marshall called up the company and was able to get a copy of Caras’ invoice, showing that Towers Productions had paid some $20 for an 18″ by 18″ piece of diffraction material plus $10 for the Fed Ex shipping costs. This proved conclusively that Caras had important evidence in his possession and had suppressed it.

Showing the computer animation was a diversion and it was insulting for Caras to think that Marshall didn’t know it. The plan was obvious – kill any mention of Rinehart as a witness; present his account of the physics as an idea that Marshall had come up with; don’t show or mention anything about his experiments because, if people saw them, they would look like more than just a “theory.” Then, having established it as just a “theory,” they would introduce Goerman and Reilly to discredit the only witness left, Allende. Then they would dismiss the whole thing as a hoax. Finally, edit Goerman’s complaint to reflect badly on Marshall. Now Marshall was turning the tables on them, and he wasn’t done yet.

“Caras told me that Jonathon Towers had told him to change the script,” Marshall recalls, “but I didn’t have it on tape. I needed the evidence.” So Marshall got a voice mail number and called Caras up at a time when he felt he wouldn’t be home. “Hi Mark. It’s Marshall Barnes. Gee, you weren’t kidding when you said Jonathon Towers had you change the script. What was the point of having me on in the first place? Call me…” The call was a ruse to get Caras to respond to the comment about Towers. Having Caras call the voice mail would be a legal way of obtaining Caras’ response on tape. Caras called and didn’t respond to the comment but just said that he had been away. He asked Marshall to call him back

Marshall did call Caras back, providing a “beep” in the background which signified that he was taping the conversation. Marshall repeated the accusation about Towers. “Yeah I ,I infer that you weren’t happy with it or something.” “What can I say. It didn’t tell the truth.” “You know, you know,” Caras stumbled, “I think we did the best we could, given the information that existed.” Marshall was stunned. Caras was giving him a completely different story. It was clear that he didn’t care anymore about the truth than the Navy did. Marshall almost felt like asking if Towers was controlled by the intelligence community, but he didn’t bother. He didn’t care anymore. He knew the truth was finally going to get out – because he was going to do it himself. Marshall would make sure that the credibility of “The Unexplained” was exposed in the process. Their conversation began to get heated as Caras started trying to deny the validity of Marshall’s evidence – the same evidence that he had raved and formatted questions about before. The phone went dead. But Marshall had all he needed.

Next, Marshall decided to go back after Reilly. He wanted to confront Reilly directly about his previous comments, cross-examination style. Reintroducing himself as ‘Mr. Barnes’ and checking up on some points from the previous reporter’s questions, Marshall launched into Reilly by getting him to confirm his clearance status and it’s limitations. He asked Reilly about Yehudi, the Navy’s (1943) formerly secret project to make an anti-submarine plane invisible with special lights. Reilly acknowledged that he was familiar with it. When asked if Reilly knew about it before it was declassified, Reilly said “No, because I had no occasion to.” Then Marshall asked him about his denials of knowing anything about Area 51.

“It appears that when it comes to the truth, if it is ‘out there,’ … A&E, Towers Productions and ‘The Unexplained’ are the furthest from it that you could ever get!”
“I haven’t the slightest idea what Area 51 is,” Reilly insisted. Marshall pressed him. “Everyone has probably heard of Area 51…” Reilly responded, “I’m not a nuclear test buff, do you see what I mean?” Marshall actually wouldn’t until later. He was going in for the kill on the issue of Reilly’s clearance level and disclosure of classified information. “My question is then… if the Philadelphia Experiment took place that means that you wouldn’t be allowed to know about it anyway right?”
“Oh yeah, but I think that’s getting far fetched frankly.”

“My point is that, if it did take place, you wouldn’t be allowed to know about it anyway, right?”

“If such a thing happened and if it were still classified…”

“That still means you wouldn’t be allowed to know about it.”

“Yeah.”

“My point is this: you were on a TV show acting as if you were an expert on something. But if it had existed, and were still classified, you wouldn’t be able to know about it anyway.”

“Yeah.” Reilly was feeling the pressure.

“That kind of negates your authority on the subject because you wouldn’t be in a position to know…”

Reilly began to get angry but it was too late. Marshall was putting the squeeze on. “You and I can hypothesize until the..”

“Well I’m done hypothesizing. Isn’t correct that if something is Top Secret, let’s say that you have knowledge of it, you wouldn’t be able to divulge that information anyway. Isn’t that correct?”

“I would, I would not be able to divulge any kind of classified information, it doesn’t have to be Top Secret.”

“Right. So let’s say that something like that happened and you did know about it, you wouldn’t able, in fact ,nor would anyone else in the Navy, be in a position to reveal that information anyway, isn’t that correct?”

“And little green men from outer space…”, Reilly began snapping back before Marshall shut him down.

“I’m not talking about little green men from outer space, I’m talking about the policy for Top Secret information and how it is handled.”

“Yeah.”

“So it’s true that if something is Top Secret that the military, whether it’s the Navy or anyone else, cannot discuss or divulge that information. They would have to say it didn’t exist or ‘no, it didn’t happen’.”

“No, you don’t say that, you simply say ‘no I cannot discuss that’.”

Marshall wasn’t buying that.

“But I would point out to you, sir, that the Air Force’s position on Area 51 is that it doesn’t exist, even though everyone knows it exists. Their official position is that it doesn’t exist. It’s not that they can’t talk about it. So if something like this did happen, the Navy wouldn’t be admitting it anyway.”

“No,” Reilly relented, “they wouldn’t be talking about it. Yeah”

“Right. So that means that your testimony or anyone else’s from the Navy is inconsequential.”

“Why of course!… But you’re piling one thing on top of another and another.”

Marshall had what he wanted and so went for the ‘cool down’, disengaging from the argument and, in the process, reassuring Reilly that he believed that Reilly hadn’t heard of Area 51.

“I’m not a nuclear test buff so…” Reilly repeated as if it was a rehearsed response.

“Have you heard of Groom Lake before or Dreamland?”

“No. Those things have no particular interest to me.”

Later, when Marshall was checking the recording he realized that he hadn’t mention that Area 51 was connected to the Nevada nuclear test range at all. So if he hadn’t mentioned it, and if Reilly wasn’t lying, then why would he think he had to be a “nuclear test buff” to have knowledge of the secret base in the Nevada desert?

.Marshall is now putting the finishing touches on what has become a feature length documentary with the title, “The Philadelphia Experiment: What The Unexplained Didn’t Want ‘X’-plained.” The truth that Mark Caras and Towers Productions didn’t want you to know is revealed in its entirety. Mack Shelton is exposed as a researcher “wannabe” and Vallee, Bernhard Haisch, and other disinformers get their due. Although this has given Marshall the opportunity to prove that he is one of the best investigators on the real X-File scene, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble if he had done an investigative search for Towers Productions on the internet, before agreeing to appear on their show. At www.realscreen.com under “Towers leanings: from law to depression,” it says,(in the last sentence of the second paragraph) “The Unexplained seeks to debunk claims of the supernatural and paranormal.”

Regardless, it’s ironic that, at the same site on www.realscreen.com (in the 15th paragraph of the article “Investigating Bill Kurtis”) the host of “The Unexplained” says, “I spent a lot of time in local television… It’s eroded to the point where I don’t think anybody observes any ethical standards anymore.”

And so it’s not surprising that if you go to http://store.aetv.com enter ‘disappearances’ as a search, then click on that title on the next page, you will be confronted with a page selling the home video of “The Unexplained” episode in question. However, a quick review of it’s description will reveal an account far more fantastic than any yarn spun by Carlos Allende or Mark Caras. In the second paragraph it begins “Another, even more incredible case involves a top-secret Navy experiment allegedly witnessed by a self-styled paranormal philosopher, who is interviewed here. The man claims to have watched from another ship as a Navy vessel and crew disappeared…” Obvious false advertising not withstanding, it appears that when it comes to the truth, if it is “out there,” in this case A&E, Towers Productions and “The Unexplained” are the furthest from it that you could ever get!

Het beloofde een gemakkelijke moordzaak te worden. Het levenloze lichaam van een vrouw wordt teruggevonden in Londen en DNA op het lichaam levert een positieve match op. Het probleem? De verdachte stierf blijkbaar al weken voor het vermeende slachtoffer zelf. Vooraanstaand forensisch onderzoeker Mike Silverman doet aan BBC een van de opmerkelijkste zaken uit zijn carrière uit de doeken.

Geen enkel verband
"Met geen enkel verband tussen de twee vrouwen, en niets dat erop wees dat ze elkaar ooit hadden ontmoet, leek het meest waarschijnlijke scenario dat de stalen met elkaar in contact waren gekomen op de meest voor de hand liggende plaats: het forensisch laboratorium", bedacht dokter Silverman. 

We schrijven 1997. Een klacht van een opsporingsambtenaar zorgt ervoor dat Mike Silverman als verantwoordelijke voor het nationaal forensisch instutuut in actie schiet. Het is zijn rol om uit te zoeken of er een fout werd gemaakt in het laboratorium.

"Mijn eerste idee was dat de nagelknipper van het tweede slachtoffer misschien een verkeerd label had gekregen en al die tijd van het eerste slachtoffer was", zegt hij. "Maar dat bleek niet het geval." Sterker nog: de stalen konden elkaar helemaal niet besmet hebben. "In elk geval waren enkele weken verstreken tussen de analyse van de eerste en tweede stalen. Bovendien waren telkens andere leden van het personeel betrokken geweest bij de onderzoeken."

Nagels knippen
Het is pas wanneer Silverman de documenten van het mortuarium onderzoekt, dat hij op een mogelijke oplossing botste. "Het bleek dat het lichaam van het eerste slachtoffer enkele weken in de vriezer had gezeten terwijl de politie haar eerste onderzoeken voerde."

Het lichaam werd uit de vriezer gehaald om zodat de patholoog nagels kon verzamelen, een dag voordat het lichaam van het tweede slachtoffer was aangekomen bij het mortuarium.

De volgende dag werd dezelfde schaar gebruikt om de nagels van het tweede slachtoffer te knippen. "Hoewel de schaar was schoongemaakt tussen de knipbeurten door, vroeg ik me af hoe voldoende genetisch materiaal dat schoonmaakproces kon overleven", klinkt het. "Het zou niet alleen moeten zijn overgezet op de nagels van het tweede slachtoffer, maar ook nog eens een DNA-profiel in de daaropvolgende analyse moeten overleven."

Kinderschoenen
In 1997, toen de mysterieuze moord plaatsvond, stond DNA-onderzoek en profilering op basis daarvan, nog in zijn kinderschoenen. "De technologie evolueerde zo snel dat zich opeens nooit eerder voorziene problemen begonnen te stellen."

"De nagelknipper in kwestie werd onderzocht en bleek niet één, maar liefst drie DNA-profielen op zich te hebben", ondervond Silverman. "Ook ander materiaal bleek besmet met ander DNA-materiaal, maar alleen bij de nagelschaartjes bleek gevaar voor kruisbesmetting."

Silverman stuurde onmiddellijk een memo rond naar alle mortuariums. Voortaan zouden wegwerpscharen gebruikt moeten worden om fout-positieve stalen in de toekomst te voorkomen. De schaar moet samen met de nagels in de bewijstas worden gestoken, om te bewijzen dat hij maar een keer gebruikt is. "Tot op vandaag wordt dat nog steeds zo gedaan", weet de onderzoeker.

Slachtoffer van eigen succes
"Al jaren wordt DNA gezien als het ultieme manier om misdaad te bestrijden met veroordelingen die voortkomen uit minieme DNA-sporen. Maar in veel gevallen is DNA-analyse het slachtoffer van zijn eigen succes geworden", waarschuwt Silverman. 

"Nu we de mogelijkheid hebben om al een DNA-profiel op te maken op basis van een paar menselijke cellen, zijn sporen quasi overal te vinden. Het vinden van dergelijk materiaal zal ervoor zorgen dat DNA-profilering steeds meer voor interpretatie vatbaar wordt."

Nederlanders ontdekken slimme truc piramidebouwers - HLN.be

Wetenschappers van de Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA) hebben ontdekt dat de oude Egyptenaren een slimme truc toepasten om de zware blokken steen die zij gebruikten voor de bouw van piramides op de juiste plek in de woestijn te krijgen. Volgens de natuurkundigen sleepten de piramidebouwers de zware stenen vele jaren voor Christus over nat zand.

Interesting video footage of a strange UFO sighting recorded by a former US Navy pilot while flying over Atlanta on 2nd December 2013.

Witness said:
Hi. My name is Andy I am a former US Navy AMS/Airdale and flyer. I was on a flight from my home in St Thomas USVI to Atlanta, Ga in December of 2013. I hadn’t flown in several years, and being excited to go home and see my family and friends, I was randomly taking video of the clouds and ground. Yeah I know …korny. Bear with me. I didnt’ realize until I got home from my vacation 10 days later and was watching all my videos and reviewing pics that I had captured something that I cannot explain. It is very large and seems to be moving from left to right in the top of the screen. It was at a great distance away…I’d say 20 miles out…and had to have been ‘miles’ across to be visible at that distance.

I have flown with the Navy and all over the US and Caribbean for many years. This is simply a huge object. I posted it on facebook to some close friends and several thought it was exceptional. The reason I am sending this to you is that I happened to see a show on H2 (UFO Hunters)today[episode original airing 02-04-09] and two different pilots (A British guy and a French) seemed to have seen the same thing I did. The difference is that his object seemed to emanate light while mine seems to be very black. After watching the video several times I also noticed a flat contrail from the top right of my video that appears to lead right to the object in the distance.

This could just be an old jet-contrail that spread out over time, but if so then a jet would have had have passed right by this thing at some point. It is moving very slowly from left to right, then speeds up and crosses the contrail by the end of the video. I have the full length video but I am sure I will only be able to email you this short version. I’ll try both tho. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

On April 11, 2014, a man in Maassluis, Netherlands videotaped a saucer-shaped UFO hovering in the sky in broad daylight. According to the news channel, the UFO hovered in the sky for about 15 minutes before “disappearing into the clouds”.
