USA developing TV drama about alien occupation

The USA Network has announced that it is developing an alien-themed drama.

Variety provides the following plot outline for this high-concept thriller titled Colony:

In 2015, Los Angeles exists in a state of occupation. Some collaborate with the alien authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences. Colony is a naturalistic drama about a family torn by those opposing forces, making difficult choices as they balance keeping their family together with the struggle of the human race.

This show is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions. The executive producers and writers for this project are Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Ryan Condal (Hercules).

Blastr surmises that this new alien TV show “could strike the balance between something like Falling Skies and the occupation years of Battlestar Galactica — with a bit more family drama thrown into the mix.”

Alien-themed television shows don’t appear to be going out of style anytime soon, as networks continue to develop series exploring extraterrestrial topics. Humans continue to be fascinated by the mystery of extraterrestrial life. And, as long as that fascination persists, networks are sure to continue in their efforts to meet the demand for alien and UFO programming.

It’s unclear if intelligent extraterrestrials are equally fascinated with Earthlings. But, if they are, and if they have the capability to pick up our broadcast signals, the folks over at Abstruse Goose put together this handy infographic to illustrate what Earth shows extraterrestrials could be watching right now.

UFO invasion videos include attack on Taliban

You might have been relieved to have read recent headlines about a UFO attacking the Taliban, but before you get too comfortable, the YouYuber who brought us that video has also posted UFO attacks against U.S. soldiers! Who’s side are these guys on anyway?

A lot of news sites have picked up on a YouTube video that purports to show a UFO attacking a Taliban camp (seen above). However, the YouTube channel that posted the video says they are filming a full on invasion. For the last 8 months they have been posting UFO videos, including UFOs getting into the mix in war torn areas such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. If the videos are to be believed the UFOs have attacked the Russian navy, U.S. battleships, and even made appearances in Vietnam.

Crazy huh? And if you think that is impressive, wait until you see their exclusive videos of gigantic sharks, a giant tortoise, and an island popping up out of the ocean in Pakistan! The island that popped out of the sea even had a UFO hovering over it for added AMAZING!

Holy Moly! Right? This is just too good to be true. Of course it is! Although many people are arguing online that this latest Taliban video must be the real deal, the Facebook page for Section 51, the group posting the videos, thinly veils their videos being really more for entertainment. Their latest video was posted with this message:

Obviously, English is their second language, but there is no indication as to where Section 51 calls HQ. Their YouTube about page gives a little more information about their supposed intentions.

Furthering the public’s interest in the UFO and the paranormal causes…. Exposing the reality of UFOs. We call that kind of event UFOs because we are totally bemused about what this could be ? Sometimes we have no words to explain what we see. Now we are a team of UFO hunters. We’re the Section 51…

Why would someone spend so much time posting hoaxed videos? Because they often go viral and get a ton of hits. One of their videos, an alleged UFO over Hungary, has over 1 million hits. Several of their other videos have gone viral, including the giant tortoise, and have well over 100k hits. With YouTube’s ad revenue share program, this can be a nice supplement to your income. In some cases it is a nice primary income.

Some of you may be thinking, “Hold on their, Mr. Rojas. I am not so sure. These videos look real to me.” If that is the case, then by all means, this is American and you have the right to believe what you will. But, you might want to steer clear from Texas. Section 51 posted this video of a giant pyramid UFO flying over the lone star state in August of 2013. Seeing how they leveled the Taliban camp, this big sucker could probably take Texas back to the dark ages in a heartbeat. Although, I guess some people might think Texas doesn’t have far to go.

I love Texas, BTW. I like everybody, pretty much, except hoaxers. OK, fine! I guess I do kinda like these guys because I have to admit their videos are fun. They make for some good almost Friday entertainment. Enjoy!

The following video footage reportedly taken in March by a U.S. Marine on the outskirts of a Taliban base in Afghanistan shows that the United States may have weapon systems that have heretofore never been seen by anyone outside of the compartmentalized development teams that built it. Either that or an extraterrestrial species has decided to get involved in the war on terror.

The video starts with a Marine recording what appears to be an unidentified aircraft hovering over the base, perhaps half a kilometer or so away. Within milliseconds of lights flashing from its underbelly a massive set of explosions rocks the base. After the smoke clears the video zooms in on the object, revealing a triangle shaped aircraft often seen in science fiction movies.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que les américains aperçoivent la main des 'petits hommes verts' pour expliquer l'inexplicable et ce n'est pas la mise en ligne récente d'une vidéo montrant l'intervention d'une soucoupe volante, en mars dernier, en Afghanistan, dans le district Asadabad, où l'on «voit» une sorte d'engin spatial attaquer une position talibane et la détruire avec de mystérieux rayons de la mort, qui va les faire changer de façon de penser. They were seen up around the DMZ in the early summer of '68. And this resulted in quite a little battle. And in the course of this, an Australian destroyer took a hit and we never found any enemy, we only found ourselves when this had all been sorted out. And this caused some shooting there, and there was no enemy at all involved but we always reacted.

Black Triangles: The Worst Kept Secret

Harv Howard writes, “The US tends to typically develop advanced aircraft in fairly full public view in terms of proposals, funding, development, quantities and problems.  The current F-22, F-35 and B-2 bomber projects have proceeded in that manner.  But when aircraft are extremely top secret, they get buried too deeply to trace, from the initial black budget allotments through to the various, aspects of their development and well into theaters of operation.”

The U-2, SR-71 and the F-117A from the depths of Lockheed’s famed Skunk Works didn’t become known to the public until after years in practical use.  Today the evidence is over whelming, secrets can be kept by aerospace industries and government.  The so-called “black triangles” can be added to the list of secret black budget items.  Funding would have come variously from “Star Wars” money, some of trillion that the Pentagon lost, programs that never were, and typically and easily done, “overruns,” tacked onto other projects built such as the very expensive B-2 bomber and the F-117A.

Thousands of sightings of the triangles make it hard to quibble with that blanket assessment. The triangles exist.  Verification comes continually that these mind-blowing craft exist.  Almost every typical American citizens witness a huge and dark triangle moving low, slow and silently overhead. Some are so shaken by the experience that they pay particular attention to the vehicles, enough to make a decent determinations of the unique characteristics of the craft. The differences between the new method of hovering and moving through the air and that of conventional aircraft of any type are unmistakable and troubling and not forgotten to some witnesses. As a consequence and not so strangely, we know more about triangles, unofficially, than any aircraft ever secretly produced in this country. Most of us interested in the term “triangles” know from regular media accounts that these craft demonstrate uncanny aerial displays to the public in the US and the UK almost daily.  Rarely are these craft reported in any area outside of the US and Europe. Being so publically displayed on Western soil, why is it that after about thirty years of being witnessed these craft have not been revealed to the American public?

What is the point of hiding such remarkable craft if the intelligence agencies of potential enemies and even the man-on-the-street can easily figure out that these fabulous craft are our government’s utility replacement for the dismissed space shuttle and manned rockets?  Why allow the American public to puzzle upon why our leaders and planners have failed us, lost our edge in space to nations using rocket technology that we have abandoned for the most part and yet seemingly have forced us to purchase rides to the ISS for our equipment and crew from others?  It doesn’t make good sense unless there is an ace up Uncle’s sleeve.
There are aspects to the situation that are not so simple to explain.  But first, we need to establish the importance of the triangles to our real world situation.  The triangles (and similarly powered craft) are the greatest development in the history of mechanical devices since the invention of the wheel.  These machines are not true aircraft.  They do not use the atmosphere (air) for lift or propulsion.  Their basic feature sidesteps the effects of gravity.  That totally different method of locomotion will allow us to literally transform human activities on earth and explorations into space.  Basically, there are a mode of quick, reliable and low-cost transportation that will replace several other types currently used in/on the air, land and sea.

In addition, their almost miraculous bending of physics contrary to conventional views automatically gives them the distinction of being the greatest weapon ever placed in the hands of a world power.  That feature alone is enough to explain why they remain top secret devices.
How that secret is handled is something else entirely and seems puzzling on the face of it.  Seeming to move in impossible and unbelievable ways is the key to why we are allowed to see them performing in exactly such a manner.  The secret keepers want us to notice the bizarre shapes and antics.  Yet, why display the triangles so publically and not bring them forth after at least three decades of being reported in our skies?

Because it is all a charade, aided and abetted by all areas of aviation, both military and civilian.  The segments of society that should be most interested in such reports are mum on the triangles, ignoring all incidents and lying about those they cannot ignore.  –Sound familiar?  Haven’t we endured over half a century of the (apparent) lack of official acknowledgment and investigations into the UFO phenomena?
The strategy behind that continued deceit is brilliant, even if a carryover of how officialdom has always dealt with the UFO, but it has another key component.  And that is that the sightings of the triangles dovetail into and help perpetuate the on-going UFO drama that we live with every day.  (Regardless of what many of you want to think, genuine UFOs, alien craft, present a very serious situation to all of Earth that eventually must conclude in some form of publically announced contact with ETs which will only be the beginning of the intervention.)

As it stands, a mysterious triangle exhibiting UFO-like capabilities is understandably labeled as a typical UFO sighting (another non-event) and with that classification assigned; all need for further investigation evaporates.  Broadcast TV news: “Put on your tin-foil hats, folks, another mysterious triangle reported hovering over Boston last night.”  A follow up sentence will advise that the supposed event should not be taken too seriously as government officials showed little interest in the public’s reports of the object.  So it was something or nothing, but definitely not a secret government triangle-shaped craft because they don’t fly them around in public like that.  Right?  After all, allowing a top secret craft to deliberately hover low over Boston on a Saturday night to be seen in all of its glory is totally absurd.  Such an event goes against the basic rules in any playbook for black budget projects.  The damned thing should be out West someplace, Area 51, maybe, not shocking the early night bar crowd in Boston.  And so it gAoes, a type of UFO is witnessed but only civilians take notice.

Most of the world knows what the English letters of “UFO” represent and what they mean in some fashion.  That understanding, that concept in itself, is a world-wide phenomenon of some note.  Recognition and acceptance of the true meaning behind alien UFOs is a natural and required progressive step for humanity to travel because the triangles (one way or another) were derived from the bizarre physics of the UFOs and that foundation secret must be kept as long as possible even as the triangles become commonplace in our lives.  So we have a rigged paradox surrounding the triangles/UFO relationship saga.

The second reason why the strange ways of the triangles is also strategic is just as important and twisted.  Less than friendly countries will have noted for years now the reports of triangles in the Western media and have pay close attention to the details that clearly eliminate the craft from being conventional, even advanced, true aircraft.  How do they react to such news?  They know full well that UFOs are real alien craft, and they note that our machines mimic UFOs.  Anything but fools, they know that we know, somehow, the secret of the UFO method of power.  They feverishly work on their theories if not prototypes.  They would make bold and varied attempts to steal highly classified data in any way imaginable.  They are masters at it.  If the English hacker Gary McKinnon can learn important but not critical details about our space fleets with a little perseverance and computer skill, so can any country with a decent spy program.  Have they had any luck?  We can imagine that they have obtained a substantial knowledge of our operations.

As a result of our best capabilities being in full view to our potential enemies, the current situation in the world is generally stable because of the existence of the triangles.  However, it is a very unbalance stalemate of course.  As our black secret is known on far shores, it is doubtful that any major effort of any kind will be started by the laggards that could provoke the wrath of a fleet of space-capable, UFO-like triangles carrying a variety of weapons.

With the capabilities inherent in the triangles, without a doubt, we control all near-earth space, off-planet exploration and any serious surface wars that would be directly against us.  Not until a country announces a similar craft will we be forced to make our own admission and display our true dominance for the public to see.  The longer it takes our enemies—and potential competitors--to build their versions of the mass less triangles, the better the odds against their ever gaining parity on that score alone.  Despite what they suspect or know about our triangles, the smart potential adversaries would keep quiet as they do their own intense work.

As stated earlier, the new principles of physics in the triangles is the greatest weapon every developed by man for war…and we must add, also the greatest thing for commerce, as also was true for the wheel.

Any use of the new secret craft would not be left to the whim of military commanders, or even top government officials fueled by their own politician agendas but from a larger, more benign, general strategy of the world not based on old versions and visions of world conquest.  It will be more of a philosophical ideology than being politically based. The so-called “coming of the saucers” in 1947 has disturbed the usually forces that rule Earth.  Initially, the earthlings in control panicked a world war had recently ended and political ideologies were running rampant across the world.  These days, evidently the ETs have told Earth’s leaders what they must do.  We see signs everywhere of the changes and earnest efforts to transform the population of the planet from one state of mind to a more rational state of mine and being.

The New World Order, a dream for some and a nightmare for others, is being social engineered. Done in some countries by their own initiative and forced onto others by the UN to bring to fruition the plan.  The major intent is to save the world from the destructive effects of mankind’s boundless consumption of resources before it sickens and dies as a living planet. Rescuing humanity from its own restless need for war and/or economic conquest is secondary.

The eventual introduction of the triangles and similarly powered craft into commercial avenues and expanded but benign military use will ease many of the approaching burdens around the world.  But as the ships go about their duties carrying aid in those dark days, many fists will be raised and shaken at them in futile anger.  Let it not be more than that display.  Otherwise, a ship with troops will be quickly summoned.  Complete freedom will be remembered as a term briefly used in the foundation of the United States of American, but it was short-lived and was only a dream anyway.  Perhaps a reset of the human apparatus of existence isn’t such a bad plan.  Maybe there is a better way. Malaysian Airlines flight MH370

Malaysian Airlines confirmed that flight MH370 had been carrying 5400 lbs of highly flammable lithium ion batteries in its cargo hold, re-igniting speculation that a fire may have caused its disappearance. The admission by CEO Ahmad January comes four days after he denied the aircraft was carrying any dangerous items.

He said the authorities were investigating the cargo, but did not regard the batteries as hazardous - despite the law dictating they are classed as such. The revelation has thrown the spotlight back on the theory that the Boeing 777 may have been overcome by a fire, rendering the crew and passengers unconscious after inhaling toxic fumes.

The plane's full cargo manifest shows that NNR Global shipped 133 pieces of one item weighing 1.99 tons and 67 pieces of another item weighing 463kg for a total weight of 2.453 tons. Neither the number of batteries nor its weight was specified.

•    Lithium-ion batteries have caused 140 mid-air incidents in the last 20 years. There is a second mystery in that there was an undisclosed two tons of cargo not on the manifest? The batteries are commonly used in mobile phones and laptops. They are classed as dangerous by The International Civil Aviation Organization.
Aviation expert said it re-affirms belief that flames started in cargo hold.

The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter… is not, in fact, stealthy

“The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter… is not, in fact, stealthy in the eyes of a growing number of Russian and Chinese radars,” the Aviation Week said. It said the jet, which the Pentagon hopes would be stealthy, is “having all sorts of shortcomings.” The report said the jet is not even effective in “jamming enemy radar”, adding the US Defense Department is spending “hundreds of billions of dollars” for a “fighter that will need the help of specialized jamming aircraft.” It said the F-35 is even “susceptible to detection by radars operating in the VHF bands of the spectrum.”

The report said Russian armed forces have been armed with a “highly counter stealth radar system” – unveiled at an air show last August – that is able to “track small targets once the VHF radar has detected them.”The Air Force reports "Initial results with the new increment of Block 2B software indicate deficiencies still exist in fusion, radar, electronic warfare, navigation, electro-optical target system, distributed aperture system, helmet-mounted display system, and datalink."  Each F-35 fighter jet is valued at $238 million.
The F-35 has not been equipped with “onboard jamming.”

Fatal flaws within the cockpit of the US military’s most expensive fighter jet ever are causing further problems with the Pentagon’s dubious F-35 program. The fleet of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighters was grounded for reasons unrelated; a new report from the Pentagon warns that any pilot that boards the pricey aircraft places himself in danger without even going into combat. In a leaked memo from the Defense Department’s director of the Operational Test and Evaluation Directorate to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Pentagon official cautions that even training missions cannot be safely performed on board the aircraft at this time.

Pilots claim, “The head rest is too large and will impede aft [rear] visibility and survivability during surface and air engagements,”  “Aft visibility will get the pilot gunned [down] every time” in dogfights, remarked another. A routine inspection on a test plane at Edwards Air Force Base turned up cracked turbine blade.

Earth-sized planet found in 'habitable zone'

Washington - The hunt for potential life in outer space has taken a step forward - an international team of researchers has discovered the first Earth-sized planet within the "habitable zone" of another star. The exoplanet dubbed Kepler-186f was first spotted by scientists using NASA’s Kepler telescope, according to research published on Thursday in the US journal Science.

The exoplanet, located some 500 light years from Earth, orbits in what is seen as the sweet spot around its star: Not too close and not too far, so it could have liquid water, considered a crucial component to hosting life.

"What makes this finding particularly compelling is that this Earth-sized planet, one of five orbiting this star, which is cooler than the Sun, resides in a temperate region where water could exist in liquid form," said Elisa Quintana of the Seti Institute author of the Science article. Kepler-186f is the fifth and outermost planet orbiting the Kepler-186 star, on the far edge of that solar system's habitable zone.

"However, it is also slightly larger than the Earth, and so the hope would be that this would result in a thicker atmosphere that would provide extra insulation," explained astronomer Stephen Kane. http://www.news24.com

 Slocomb -- Since first spotting the flying objects in late dusk on April 30, 2014, I went out in front yard to see them every night unless raining and cloudy. When I first noticed the objects, thought it was stars until I started taking photos of the objects.

Arizona Bright Object

Kingman -- I was outside smoking a cigarette, on April 24, 2014 time was about 7:30-8:00 PM at night it was still light outside so the sky was still light clear blue and all you could see is the blue sky. I felt this strange sensation of looking up into the sky and in the meantime I observed this really bright object that seemed very out of place since I’m very familiar with the sky and star location it seemed a bit odd but as I was about to come in I noticed a lot of little small like flashing orbs ejecting or coming in to close range of that brighter object, so I if that was not strange enough lots of more orbs coming in from the SE direction started coming in to close range of this much bigger object.

So of course ran in grabbed my binoculars and camera trying to see what was this strange object ejecting little like bright orbs that were flying in all directions, some stopping and some continued in a path but dimming the lights. It flew very oddly, stopping, making sharp turns. I really got scared when I started taking pictures. It came in for a closer look dimming its lights.

On April 23, 2014 at around 4:20 AM, I looked outside my bedroom window and there was a cigar shaped object 12 feet off the ground. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Lights

San Francisco -- At 6:25 AM on April 30, 2014 as I stood outside the Transamerica Tower, looking toward the Pacific Ocean, I saw a magnificent spaceship. It looked large, like the size of a Moon--shining with an extraterrestrial ring around it, much like Planet Saturn. However, it was Chakra Orange, with a glowing orb inside of it which had a metallic hue to it. It was solid in appearance and had a white aura around it which gave the appearance of vibration. It was facing north toward Pier 39. I still couldn't believe what I was seeing and it stole my breath away. Even after watching it for what felt like ages, I still questioned what I was seeing and this time, when I looked ahead the ship was gone. I speak telepathically with extraterrestrials that have shown themselves to me in the physical world. Andrew the extraterrestrial confirmed it was indeed a UFO. It was a light metallic with a glowing center which looked solid, and an Orange Sacral Chakra glow.

Santa Cruz -- I went outside to take the garbage out on May 2, 2014, and saw a pulsing light in the sky. I got my binoculars and a smart phone and observed distinct white, blue and red lights, sometimes together, sometimes alone. I watched for an hour and half before it silently left.

  

The second night I saw the same set of pulsing lights hovering in the same location in sky that eventually faded from site going away from us? Two friends also witnessed the same pulsating lights hovering in the sky and got some nice pictures. A triangular light with surrounding lights was marking its shape for 1/2 an hour. Florida Bright Lights

Tallahassee -- We were driving down Bullheadly Road at about 9 PM on April 30, 2014, when I saw two bright lights, brighter and different from any airplane lights I've seen. I told the driver to follow so we could see what it was. As we got closer near Lake Iamonia we noticed it was hovering. We went to the lake front and parked and saw it was hovering at the center of the lake.

It was hovering about 200 feet up with two main bright lights on its wings and a smaller white light on the front. We watched for 5 minutes and took its picture and the flash attracted it and it started coming toward us. It made a quiet droning noise, as it flew over us with two wings on the side of it. It was a sharp equilateral triangle with small red lights. It gradually sped faster and went out into the distance. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Georgia Orbs

Atlanta -- This photo was sent to me shortly after 3 PM on April 30, 2014. It is a very bizarre cloud-like structure.
I have been chief meteorologist for WSB-TV in Atlanta for more than 30 years and have never seen anything like it.

Illinois Light

 Chicago Midway -- My friend and I spotted a strange light or star like in the sky towards the west just a bit above the horizon. It was three fists high off the horizon.
This event took place on the evening of Thursday April 30 2014 at exactly 8:44 PM. I used my tripod with my iPhone with an app called ProCamera. We were outside for at least about 15 to 20 minutes smoking.

Both of us are into stargazing astronomy with the Chicago Astronomical Society, and we are just beginners and we are learning about the stars and planets of the nighttime sky. Also during this event, I had called our IL MUFON investigator Jim Wolford and sent him my photo and video. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Kansas Triangle

 Wichita -- An amateur photographer captured a mysterious triangle-shaped craft on April 15, 2014, which bears a striking resemblance to the one seen flying over Amarillo, Texas, earlier this year. In an interview with KSN, Jeff Templin recalled the day the flying object caught his eye. "Anyone that was looking up would have seen it," he told the TV station, noting that it was performing several 180 degree turns in the sky in the shape of an S. Kentucky Triangle

Louisville – On May 1st 2014, three blinking lights were seen on a triangle shaped object with a red light in the middle with white lights on the edge at 2:22 AM. It was flying soundless over the tree tops. Thanks to John Hayes www.UFOinfo.com

Michigan Light

St Joseph -- I was out in the front yard in about 5:35 PM on August 2, 2013 and it had just gotten dark and I noticed that a small slow moving object was traveling across the sky. It didn't appear like any aircraft that I could identify so I figured I would take a picture and then see if there is any Internet traffic that stated that other people had seen the same craft.

The craft was an oval or disc shaped made no sound and traveled extremely slowly and in a straight-line path. It was far away and my picture isn't very good. It appears very small and is located just over the power lines in the center of the picture. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Nevada Row of Bright Lights

Las Vegas – The witness saw an extremely bright light low in the sky moving east direction slowly on April 30, 2014 at 9:10 PM. Within seconds the single light became a row of six or eight identical bright lights. We pulled over to study the lights and they vanished. The objects appeared to be "ten times bigger than a star and reported that they seemed to have a yellow ring around them. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.UFOCenter.com

New Jersey Round Glow

 Vernon -- I was at a music fest admiring the moon and the huge halo around it and noticed something come up from behind the mountains on April 12, 2014. It was the opposite direction of planes usual paths and had an upward arched curve from the moment it started. It flew up to and past the moon and up until out of sight. It was round and seemed to glow and had a steady fairly slow and even ascension. It appeared to be bluish. It left behind a very distinct 'chemtrail'. Thanks to MUFON CMS

North Carolina Light

Mecklenburg Nuclear Plant -- UFOs that visit nuclear plants are usually there to look them over, much like an UN inspector might go over the plant for leaks, cracks, and other safety issues.
Aliens are very interested in nuclear power and how we deal with the dangers of that radioactive source. Their technology can detect cracks, glitches in computer programs and other possible systems that could fail and cause a disaster. They are not there to fix them. Oklahoma Four Lights

Midwest City -- First observed what looked to be an odd-colored star to the west, when suddenly it fell straight down on May 2, 2014. Went inside and when I came back out there were two more yellow-orange glowing lights coming quickly from the north, heading south towards the area the first object had fallen. Once they reached that location the second light made an abrupt 90 degree turn and fell towards the ground. Before the third object made the same turn towards the ground a fourth object was observed moving much faster, almost as if it were trying to intercept the two. The third object started to descend but its light went out before dropping below the tree line. All the objects were slightly higher than the rooftops. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Utah Oval

Salt Lake City -- Was taking pictures of the sky outside of my house when I looked at the pictures the object was only in one of the pictures nothing before nothing after don't know what the object could be but it was very strange. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Worldwide UFO Reports

Australia Fire

Australind near Bunbury Western Australia -- Looking west towards the Indian Ocean I saw the sky light up thinking it was a meteorite due the sparks and fire on April 21st 2014, at 6:45 PM. As the flash finished there was a craft at that spot whose lights were not the right colors for a normal aircraft, it began travelling north for about 5 seconds before disappearing and then reappearing 20 km's further north.

Alice River, Townsville, Queensland – The dogs barked and woke me up at 4:15 AM on April 27th 2014. I could see it sitting low through the window. I ran and woke my daughter and we saw a stingray with the tail and it was bright orange. It came up from the south over the trees and was really low as it flew over us. It was a good 15 minutes before it headed west.

Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Queensland -- We were out fishing close to midnight on April 29th 2014, when we saw a blue light, like a beach ball? It shot up over Broadbeach at 11:30 PM, and flew over the water at about 1000 feet, changed to red, blue, with a ring of light around it. It changed to blue then red and flew higher. Eagleby, Queensland – We saw a round bright light like a high beam head light and my husband flashed the torch at it as it faded on April 27th 2014 at 4:14 AM.

It seemed to brighten back up and come closer to us. In the video view finder it flashed red, blue, green, and yellow. When it faded my husband flashed his torch as it continued to return bigger and brighter. I was able to capture video footage of the silent object.

Canada Triangular and Steady Light

Hamilton Mountain, Ontario – They were flying too high and way too fast but looked round on April 19th 2014, at 10:28 PM. It wasn't the space station, that we saw 12 minutes before this. Four of us saw this UFO after my daughter pointed it that was visible for about 15-20 seconds before it quickly vanished.

Downsview, Toronto -- My son, his grandmother and my sister decided to go to York University's Observatory to view the stars April 23rd 2014, at 10:35 PM, as we were leaving, my Mom said “What is that?  Four of us saw six flat but roundish "objects" flying low and silent perfect unison.  They were illuminated from underneath and in 20 seconds they were gone.

Newmarket, Ontario -- Looking up at the sky in the hot tub I noticed 7 lights moving following a major road on April 27th 2014, on 10:00 PM. I noticed a full triangular craft flying lower than commercial aircraft. It crossed the horizon silently in about 5 seconds with no vapor trail.

Beaverton, Ontario -- Letting my dog out I looked up on May 4th 2014, at 11:15 PM, to see. I see five lights in formation flying at high speed from east to west flying towards Lake Simcoe. No noise just fast paced. Two behind front leader were swerving side to side as they disappeared in the distance. Thanks to John Hayes www.UFOinfo.com

France Lights Not Visible

 Vervins -- At the time of sighting we were at the look out at Whiskey Town Lake taking photos on April 22, 2014. The object was not visible to the human eye.

It was later discovered in photos in the camera phones. Photos were taken from an iPhone 5 and from Galaxy 4 camera phones. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Ireland Lights

Letterkenny, County Donegal -- I was out sky watching on a clear night and a red flashing light with a constant red light traveling from the southeast to northwest on April 25th 2014, at 11.30 PM. It was traveling faster than normal planes do and the flight path was not a usual one so it held my gaze as it appeared to slow down and stay still in the distance. There was no sound. Puerto Rico Disc Base

El Yunque - - Freddie, his wife and their young child were taking a drive around the rainforest on Route 191 and took a turn inadvertently deep into the forest in February 1991. They drove thru a camouflaged gate deep in the forest and drove for two miles along a road lit by blue lights. They came to a large metal gate and a building and were stopped by two tall man-like figures and asked who they were. The men wore tight-fitting black one-piece suits, with dark oval shaped helmets with dark visors.

In eerie metallic-electronic sounding voices the strangers ordered the couple to step out of the car. They examined their vehicle and asked how they got there and then held a conversation in a guttural language. A blue truck now arrived with two men wearing blue coveralls also asked how they got there. Freddie noticed a rectangular shaped hollowed out area in the nearby hill with huge glass like doors. Inside there was a metallic disc 30 feet in diameter that was encircled with windows.  The men did not appear to notice that Freddie had seen anything and ordered them to follow them out of the area. New Zealand Lights

Oamaru, Waitaki District – On April 25th 2014, at 11:44 PM, I wandered out onto my front porch and spotted two red lights, kind of like stars were heading East towards the sea. The lights were not staying at one level of brightness, they were slowly pulsating, getting dimmer and then brighter again, but not at the same time.

They were two silent objects some distance apart cruising at an average speed. The lower one was quite close to the horizon and the other was much higher and much further in front, but both travelling at the same speed.  I ran inside to fetch my camera after watching them for about 8 seconds and ran to get my camera and when I came back out they were gone, even though I could see for many miles. UK/England Cylinder

 Bath, Somerset -- I saw a cigar shaped UFO on April 15, 2014, which was hovering next to a church steeple for about two minutes. I was waiting in train station and two people watched it with me. As we watched it ascended straight up extremely fast and stopped then plummeted out of view. It then ascended again and stopped and hovered before disappearing.

I was able to get this photo with my camera-phone as it appeared again and ascended back to same spot. Then it shot to the right extremely fast, hovered and then flew off in two seconds. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Hull, East Yorkshire -- I was watching TV around 11 PM on May 2nd 2014 and saw this long bright green LED light appear. I could see loads of what looked like box shape windows on it. By the time I said to my family wow look at this the green thing just disappeared. It had like a curve to it with green windows, but it vanished like it was fading. UK/Wales

Twmbarlwn -- At Risca an old iron age hill fort site I managed to photograph a number of UFOs and  managed to get up to 15 objects in one frame. I live on the England Wales border where there is an unusually high instance of UFO activity. I can leave a camera running on video and find that in most clips, objects are clearly visible. I have recorded these objects on 35mm, old digital, fixed wildlife stealth camera, video and digital cameras. I have been recording and cataloguing these objects for nearly 15 years in my location. I have seen four objects with my own eyes. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Humanoid Incursion Reports 8

Here are a few more selected reports that detail real-life incursions / encounters by humanoid beings:

THE TALL BLACK FIGURES

Mamaroneck, New York – Summer 1965 – night

The witness remembers waking up and seeing a black shape standing over her, looking down at her. She is apparently became paralyzed. She remembers seeing people from all over the apartment complex were gathered in the courtyard. She went out the window into this courtyard and observed an object hovering about six feet off the ground. The people were all in a trance and were being taken up one at a time into the object. Other tall black figures were around the courtyard.

When she was taken inside the craft she was met by two of the black figures and placed horizontally on a table. One of the figures comes to her right side, the other to her left. One examines her with a tube like instrument, which is 12 inches long, and approximately one inch in diameter with a round end, it had a cord hooked to it. She is asked to look at the figure’s hands. It has three long fingers and a thumb. She then looks at the face, but can only see eyes, but not well. The tube is then inserted into her vagina. There is no pain. Then a smaller instrument, which looks like a metal eyedropper, is inserted up her nose. She then gets up and looks at the table. It is like cold metal and it has one pedestal for a base. She then steps down through a glowing hole on the floor of the object and is returned to the courtyard. She goes back into her apartment through the window, returns to bed, and falls asleep.

THE SUBWAY

Manhattan, New York – October 1, 1999 – 5:00 pm

The witness was ascending the escalator at Penn Station and had reached street level when she noticed standing about 20 feet away, what seemed to be a male figure about 6-feet, 7 inches tall. He stood near the mouth of the entranceway to the station. The tall being stared at the passerby’s as though he was trying to choose one of them. The witness caught a glimpse of his face but she turned away immediately, and walked away down the sidewalk without turning back, feeling that if she would turn around for another look something would happen to her. For an unknown reason she felt tremendous fear. The figure’s face was not human, his eyes looked right through you. His face was light gray almost white, thick brow, and menacing eyes. He stood in a peculiar way, standing with his back arched, broad shoulders, his elbows pointing towards his back, his head was tilted back just a bit looking down at the top of people’s heads. The witness quickly left the area and did not return.

MISSISSIPPI BAT-MAN

Mantachie, Mississippi – Fall 1991 – 9pm

In the Fall of 1991 me and two of my friends decided to go to the liquor store and get someone to buy us a pint of booze. We were not yet of age so we had to get people who were of age to go in and buy it for us. We did this two or three times a week. The small town we live in (Mantachie, MS) most of the time leaves you alone as long as you are not bothering anyone. We got the booze and headed to the park in this small town. We go to the park to have a drink every once and a while but this night was different.

We pulled up to the park and started to get out of the truck. We had not yet opened the booze so the booze did not influence us. I was sitting in the middle and my friend was getting out of the passenger’s side door. When he got out and I got out, I noticed the sound of a tennis ball bouncing on the tennis court. I looked and saw this figure bouncing a tennis ball. The figure was around 6 foot tall and was wearing a dark cloak. It looked to me that he had some sort of pouch on his back. Me and my friend who got out of the truck saw this figure and told the driver of the truck to look. He did and saw the same thing. In a flash we jumped back into the truck and headed down the road to figure out what we had seen.

We got a few miles away and in the distance we saw coming at us a large bat-like creature. It was several feet away from us but you could make out the red glowing eyes. It passed right in front of our windshield and vanished in the darkness. We rushed to one of our houses and didn’t drink that night. We didn’t do anything but stay there all night. I am a skeptic when it comes to the paranormal but I do know what I saw.

LEAD SOLDIER

Reggio Calabria, Sicily, Italy – Summer 1982 – 11:00pm

The elderly female witness, who lived in an industrial area of the city next to the airport and facing the waterfront had stayed up late one night watching a movie on the television when she was distracted by a flashing violet colored light coming in through her window from the direction of the water. The light reminded her of the flashing light of a lighthouse.

Stepping out to her 5th floor balcony she noticed a dark domed object that had apparently landed on the water directly across from her apartment. It had a bright light similar to a welder’s torch that moved about in a zigzag manner. The object was large and totally silent. Soon she noticed a figure standing on the object on one side. It resembled a “lead soldier” and wore a square helmet with two rectangular openings at eye level. It wore a tight-fitting metallic suit. She could not see a nose or mouth. The figure was completely still, until it suddenly turned his head and stared directly at the witness.

At this point a bright beam of light struck the witness square in the face, temporarily blinding her and causing her to fall back into her room. She continued to watch the object and the soldier like figure from a window. At times the beam of light would strike the window area as if searching for her. The figure eventually entered the object on its left side and the craft rose and left silently at high speed.

E.T. ATTACKED GRANDMA

Location: Brigantine, New Jersey – February 24 1997 – 1:00am

A 50-year old grandmother was sleeping with her grandchildren in a room and had left several lights on to comfort them. She awoke suddenly and noticed that the lights were turned off. Her eyes slowly accustomed to the dark and she felt a presence in the room. She then saw two short figures standing near her bed. She attempted to contact them, by using telepathy, pleading to go with them if they left the children alone. The beings did not answer her plea. She was then startled as one of the beings moved aggressively and grabbed her. She jumped up and punched the being on the face, his skin felt like hard plastic, she struggled further grabbing the figure by the throat, the neck appeared horribly wrinkled. The being was about 5-feet tall and thin. She then bit the being; she said it felt like biting a cold piece of ham. After a few minutes of struggling the being dropped to the floor. At this time a third figure appeared in the room, then the two standing aliens moved towards her. One brushed against her face and grabbed her wrist; this one seemed stronger than the first. She then suddenly passed out. Upon regaining consciousness the figures were gone. The children had been apparently unharmed. She suffered from a severe headache afterwards and found three puncture wounds on her neck.

THE SPEEDY BUM AND THE SILVER FLYER

Location: Near Point Pleasant, WV – Fall 1967 – afternoon

So one chilly day in the Fall of 1967 the parents decided to go to a private event in Point Pleasant. We were southbound on the highway by the Ohio River on the W.Va. side. It was a long ride and my butt was starting to go numb, so I shifted around and then caught sight of something from the corner of my eye. On the side of the road, in a thin stretch of woods between the highway and the river was this bum…or I thought he was a bum. He was wearing a brown flannel shirt and grubby, baggy brown pants and a brown hunting hat with ear flaps down. He was running alongside our car! I checked the speedometer, we were moving at 35 mph! I kept looking at him and he kept running alongside the car, then he turned and looked at me. It looked like he was wearing old-style welding goggles or old-style motorcycle goggles. They were brown-framed circles with bright red lenses.

He kept up with us for several hundred yards until a wide bend in the road moved us apart and I lost sight of him. About two seconds later my brothers started yelling about ” The man-he’s flying! Look! That guy is flying!” It wasn’t the same guy. This one was in a silver suit with wings. He held his arms up by his chest, I don’t know how he was controlling his flight. He shot straight up out of the woods, then leveled out and headed towards the east. He had red eyes, but not like the running guy’s. The flying guy’s eyes were glowing very brightly. He flew behind a hill and that’s all we saw of him.

So it’s entirely possible that Demi Lovato has a stalker. Not the fleshy kind (although I’m guessing she has those, too): the undead kind. As in a ghost. As in a ghost might be following her around. Yeah, I know.

“What proof do you have?” you might ask, narrowing your eyes and looking at your screen askance. Well, firstly there’s the terrifying image that has been making the rounds on Twitter of Lovato — clad in a kicky military-esque jacket — a creepy, grinning face looming over her shoulder.

Secondly, we know for a fact that Lovato believes in the paranormal and, in fact, lives in a haunted house in Texas. She has enlisted ghost hunters and mediums to interact with the spirit, who is an 11-year-old named Emily who enjoys messing with computers and cellphones (much like your average 11-year-old girl).

Thirdly, I asked an expert — namely, Brandon Alvis, founder of the American Paranormal Research Association.

“From my analysis I can’t 100% say that the ‘ghostly face’ is a spirit,” he told MTV News on Wednesday (May 7). “One thing to note is if Demi Lovato is a ghost hunting enthusiast and claims to have a strong connection with the afterlife, it is very possible that a ghost or spirit could be attached to her because of her previous attempts at communicating with the dead.”

Thylacine cameraman bitten on the buttocks

The cameraman who took the famous footage of the last captive Tasmanian tiger was bitten on the buttocks while filming.

Biologist David Fleay’s pictures shot at a Hobart zoo in 1933 are known around the world as the haunting last images of an animal nearing extinction.

A tiger, or thylacine, known as Benjamin, is seen pacing uncomfortably inside a concrete pen three years before it was to become the last of its species to die in captivity.

But a new exhibition at Launceston’s Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery has shed more light on the shoot.

The museum is displaying witness accounts, remembered by Fleay’s daughter Rosemary, that recall him being bitten after two warning “yawns” from the tiger.

“The animal managed to get behind him and bite him on the buttocks,” curator David Maynard told AAP.

“He had fair warning and he got what was coming to him.”

Fleay, who was working under a curtain commonly used by photographers in the early 20th Century, suffered no serious injury.

“Other than his pride,” Mr Maynard said.

“Most likely the tiger would have left puncture marks.

“They have quite large canine teeth.”

The thylacine was a top-level predator but was generally shy towards people.

No deaths by tigers were ever recorded but the story of one attempting to drag away an 11-year-old boy survives.

Aboriginal folklore has stories of babies being taken by thylacines, Mr Maynard said.

“They were persecuted because of their supposed impact on sheep farming but that’s totally overblown,” he said.

“It’s more likely it was wild dogs.”

The museum still receives reports of sightings at least monthly but Mr Maynard said there is no credible evidence the animal survives.

They were slow-growing, producing few young, and the last wild tiger was killed in 1930.

“At best they lived in the wild until 1950,” Mr Maynard said.

“The last one probably died in the wild alone and unknown.

“The road kill in Tasmania is exceptional – 293,000 animals a year – and not one of them in the last 50 years has been a thylacine.” – News.com.au

Ghost caught on camera at Cascade restaurant?

One area restaurant might have caught a ghost on camera.

At least, that’s one explanation.

Chuck & Edna’s Maid-Rite in Cascade has two possible instances of paranormal activity caught on camera. Owner Pat Orr said his surveillance cameras caught something spooky one night in mid-April.

In the first video, dated April 14 at 6 p.m., a shadowy shape is seen approaching the kitchen’s dish-washing sink. It moves haltingly and occasionally, not fluidly.

Some say it looks like a shadow. Others say it could have been a bug that landed on the camera. One thing is for sure: it’s unexplained.

“We found you can’t make a shadow on the floor back there because of all the lights. Some people said it’s a bug on the lens,” Orr said. “I don’t know what the thing is.”

Orr called in Cascade police chief Fred Heim soon after watching the video.

“I still can’t tell you what I saw. There was a fuzzy thing on there. I don’t know if it was a fly leg, I don’t know if it was something that, you know, could be related to ghosts. I really couldn’t tell you,” Heim, an admitted non-believer in ghosts, said. “(Orr) asked me if we investigated stuff like that, and I basically told him that he probably should call Ghostbusters.”

So that’s what Orr did. A few days after the shadowy-figure video incident, Orr called a ghost hunting team from Iowa City. As of Wednesday afternoon, he had not yet heard back from them with any results.

Is it phantom or fiction? Orr said his employees have occasionally reported strange activity in the past three years, that this was just the first of it caught on camera.

Besides, there’s a whole other piece of possible evidence.

In a second video, dated April 19 at 9:49 a.m., a stack of cups flies (or falls) off a kitchen shelf, hitting an employee, who is preparing food below. Clearly rattled, the employee backs up and turns to walk out of the kitchen.

Wednesday afternoon, Tom Oberbroeckling and his wife, from Anamosa, were eating lunch at the Maid-Rite in Cascade.

When told the restaurant he was eating in might be haunted, Oberbroeckling said he was, “very surprised, considering this is a new building.”

The Maid-Rite has been in Cascade for just over three years. Before then, it was an empty lot.

“I’ve been here in town about eight years,” Heim said, “but they said there’s been quite a few different things that have actually been on that lot over there. Groceries stores, and there’s been some other things in the area, such as funeral homes and the old ambulance garage, so who knows!”

Is it a poltergeist? A prank? A publicity ploy?

“You can believe what you want, whether it’s a bug, a shadow,” Orr said. “I don’t know what’s going on down here, but it’s kind of funny.”

Customers can enter, if they dare, and have a ghostly gander.

We’re Not Ready To Meet Aliens: Humans Are Too Stupid & Religious To Cope With Extra-terrestrial Life, Claims Expert

Finding extraterrestrial signals has been dreamed about for decades.

But a researcher from the University of Cádiz in Spain says we shouldn’t be looking – because we’re not ready to meet aliens.

Gabriel De la Torre revealed to MailOnline how his survey of students showed the general level of ignorance and influence of religion would leave us shocked if we made first contact.

A study by Professor Gabriel De la Torre from the University of Cádiz in Spain claims that we’re not ready to make first contact. He claims we’re not prepared mentally or ethically to meet beings unlike ourselves and we should try to improve our ‘global consciousness’ 

Since 1984 the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (Seti) Institute has been looking for signs of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.

To date nothing has been found, although the search continues unabated.

Members of the project are now going further by sending out messages from Earth (Active Seti) to try and contact other lifeforms.

But De la Torre, a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cádiz and participant in previous projects such as Esa’s Mars 500 (a simulated mission to Mars on Earth), has carried out a study that he claims indicates we are not ready to make contact.

In the study he sent a questionnaire to 116 students in Spain, the US and Italy.

De la Torre tells MailOnline he used students because they ‘will be the future politicians, scientists, the people in charge, so I wanted to know what their knowledge was.’

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (Seti) Institute was established in 1984. Since then it has used a number of observatories around the world, like the Allen Telescope Array (pictured), to try and find alien signals from another world, but so far nothing has been found

The questions were split into five sections: religious beliefs, the environment, space-related knowledge, their daily activities and their opinions on life issues.

‘In all those areas I defined a different type of question based on other studies that I think related to Seti research,’ De la Torre says.

These included questions such as how likely they thought life was to exist on other planets, what year man first walked on the moon and what the largest planet in the solar system is.

The results were somewhat disconcerting for De la Torre. For example only 82 per cent of the students knew the first moon landing was in 1969.

‘The conclusions were that scientific knowledge, especially the knowledge related to space among college students, is not good,’ he continues.

‘So I think space agencies should increase education efforts.’

On 16 November 1974 the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico (pictured) was used to send out a signal called the Arecibo message, a ‘calling card’ from Earth to potential alien races. However De la Torre says we shouldn’t perform ‘Active Seti’ like this as we aren’t ready to make contact

But ultimately it is our lack of appreciation for our own planet and our place in the universe that would be our downfall, he says.

‘We’re not ready to talk to extraterrestrials because global consciousness is not developed enough in the population,’ he concludes.

‘People have daily life problems and the government doesn’t pay attention to global issues like the planet and the environment.

‘That makes us a species too focused on daily life problems, we don’t have an awareness of our surroundings.

‘It’s like when a meteor falls in some place on the planet, it’s big news. But that’s a regular real possibility.

‘If we have a more global consciousness about our situation on the planet, how fragile the planet is, maybe that’s a step in the evolution of our consciousness as a species.

‘There could be other intelligent life out there and it could be really different from us physically, mentally, socially and even morally.

‘They could maybe not even be biological, they could be robots.

‘Right now I don’t think as a species we are ready.

‘Of course some people are ready, but as a species I think it would be a big shock.’

UFOs, Abductions & Alien Engineers: Was God An Ancient Astronaut?

If some UFOs really are alien spacecraft from another planet the obvious question to ask is why are they visiting Earth? Initially, the consensus among UFO researchers was that aliens were visiting us to conduct scientific research; much in the same way NASA was sending missions to the Moon.

Alien abductions, like the 1961 Barney and Betty Hill case, where a New England couple were kidnapped by aliens and taking aboard a flying saucer for a series of bizarre medical examinations were compared to Biology students cutting up frogs in a laboratory. While this reasoning made some sense back then, today the idea simply doesn’t hold much water.

If the UFO occupants are conducting scientific research, then why then after over 50 years since the Betty and Barney Hill case do alien abduction reports continue even today? Human anatomy hasn’t changed since the nineteen-sixties, so why then do the aliens keep performing their “tests”? And if the claims of ancient astronaut theorists are true, that the Earth has been visited by extraterrestrials for thousands of years and not just since Kenneth Arnold’s 1947 sighting of nine flying saucers near Mt. Rainier in Washington State, then the scientific research explanation for alien visitation becomes even more untenable.

Cave paintings depicting that resemble flying saucers have been found in France dating to 13,000 BCE. And there are other examples of such evidence for alien visitation in ancient history, including a Peruvian Hill Carving from the 6th century of what looks like an alien being reminiscent of the grey aliens encountered in abductions. 

So, if UFO researchers are interpreting such ancient depictions and monuments correctly, why has humankind been visited throughout its history by these sky gods? Abduction researchers like Dr. David Jacobs and the late Bud Hopkins have hypothesized that the aliens are working towards some unknown long term plan involving themselves, humans and planet Earth, but what? While the motives of the greys are difficult to decipher based on what little we know about them, there are some common themes reported by abductees. These include sperm and ova extractions and more bizarrely what is called a “child presentation” where the abductee is shown a child, which often has a mix of human and alien characteristics.

Similar stories involving “gods” and “angels” interbreeding with humans to create hybrid beings can be found in the ancient world. The ancient Egyptian Pharaohs claimed to be directly descended from various gods, and other examples can be found in the Bible. In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, between the events of Adam and Eve getting tricked by the “serpent” in the Garden of Eden and the Great Flood, the Bible says: “Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. Then the LORD said, ‘My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.’

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”

Could the “sons of God” in the Bible really be extra-terrestrials? Was God himself an alien or a group of aliens that genetically engineered humans, perhaps by splicing alien DNA with that of early humans? If such ideas sound absurd, it should be considered that scientists have already successfully spliced human DNA with that of cows and pigs.

The reasons for creating these human-animal “hybrids” was to produce better medicines and replacement organs for humans. BBC Online science reporter Helen Briggs wrote back in 2002: “Scientists believe cows could eventually be used to produce medicines to treat multiple sclerosis, infections and even cancer.”  (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/2183200.stm)

Is it possible aliens have similar motives for hybridising with humans? It has been suggested that one reason aliens could be visiting the Earth is because of the amazing diversity of life here. Maybe the UFO occupants long ago cut down their rainforests and wiped out all animal life on their planet, and are forced to come to Earth to seek new medicines. Such speculation isn’t incompatible with the idea of aliens using human-alien hybrids to create vaccines and cures for alien diseases.

Another scenario could be that the aliens are not visitors at all, but rather colonists. Hybridisation could be a method of better adapting to life on Earth.

Alien engineers were central to plot of Ridley Scott’s Alien-prequel Prometheus, but the theory that ancient astronauts engineered humans has long been a stable of science fiction. In the DVD commentary for Prometheus, Ridley Scott references Nigel Kneale’s six part serial Quatermass and the Pit, shown on British television in 1958/59, as an influence.

In one important scene in the later film adaptation made by Hammer Films in 1967, Professor Quatermass explains his theory that Martians engineered humans from apemen who lived on Earth five million years ago, and speculates it was done to create a Martian proxy colony.

BREEN: And you really believe this was possible? That apes were systematically taken from this planet to another and— 

QUATERMASS: Altered, by selective breeding, atomic surgery, methods we can’t guess, and with new faculties instilled in them, high intelligence, perhaps something else. 

HOWELL: In effect, a colonisation. 

QUATERMASS: It would be a way of possessing the Earth. Only a colony by proxy, but better than leaving nothing at all behind.

 Perhaps much in the same way the invasive non-native grey squirrel has largely replaced the native red squirrel in Britain, grey aliens could be slowly colonising Earth with the endgame of replacing humans as the dominant lifeforms.

 In his ominously titled book The Threat, abduction researcher and retired Associate Professor of History at Temple University, Dr. David Jacobs, seemed to be concerned about just such a scenario: “I have come to the conclusion that human civilisation may be in for a rapid, and perhaps disastrous, change not of our design and I am all the more uncomfortable because the reason for this change is the least acceptable to society—alien integration.” This pessimistic view however doesn’t fit well with the experiences of the contactees of the nineteen-forties and fifties, which pre-date the abductions. Contactees were often given messages warning mankind about environmental catastrophe and nuclear Armageddon.

If the aliens want to replace us, why then are they trying to save us? One answer could be that they don’t want to save us at all, just our planet. Based on the differences in appearance of the human-looking beings reported by contactees compared with the short grey beings encountered during abductions, it is a common belief among UFO researchers that we could also be dealing with multiple species from various extra-terrestrial civilisations.
