Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

Out of all the NASA photographs out there some of them stand out to me as extraordinary and those photos happen to be the ones showing Pyramids on the Moon. Some of these photos are unconfirmed and some confirmed. It is a well known fact that the possibility of a Pyramid on the moon or multiple is all too well given the evidences and the so called moon bases that are hidden from us.
The Chuchunaa (“outcast,” or “fugitive”), also known as the Tjutjuna, is a hominid cryptid rumored to live in the snowy depths of Siberia. They are unique among their kind for numerous reasons not the least of which appearing before eyewitnesses clothed in animal skins. This fact that the Chuchunaa are said to wear animal skins has led some researchers to believe that these creatures may have less in common with Gigantopithecus-like creatures such as Bigfoot or the Yeti, and may possibly be a part of what some have speculated are a relic population of paleo-asiatic aborigines or possibly even Neanderthals.
The Chuchunaa has been described by most eyewitnesses as being a tall (6-7FT) and human-like, with broad shoulders, a large protruding brow, long, matted hair and occasionally bearing unusual fur coloration. It is said that at least one member of this species was given a name by nearby natives. They called him Mecheny (which translates from the native Mnasi dialect as The Marked One) due to the fact that this creature allegedly bore a distinctive patch of white hair on its forearm.
Most reports of these creatures hail from native nomadic tribes such as the Yakuts and the Tungus. The tales are much like the Native Americans reports of Bigfoot or as they say ‘Sasquatch.’
The creatures inhabiting the more southern areas are notorious for their midnight raids on barns and other dwellings. It appears the creatures are the same thing, just in different regions. There are also reports that these creatures have, on occasion, taken to eating human flesh.
There were tales of a strange being wandering the remote forests of Tunguska near the scenes of devastation. The nomadic reindeer herdsmen of Siberia sighted the gigantic grey humanoid figure some 50 miles north of the Chunya river. They saw the man, who seemed to be over 8 feet in height, picking berries and drinking water from a stream. The superstitious Mongol herdsmen regarded the freakish-looking stranger as one of the fabled Chuchunaa. Others who supposedly investigated one of man kinds greatest mysteries “the Tunguska blast” have also claimed to have seen the Chuchunaa.
In 1933, Professor P. Dravert, after hearing accounts that the Chuchunaa were being hunted, petitioned the Soviet government to put an end to the practice, calling for the creatures to be recognized as full citizens of the Soviet Union and therefore deserving of equal rights under the law. His call to action went unheeded at the time, but as recently as 1970, geologist Vladimir Pushkarev was conducting research on the creatures, concluding that their numbers were dwindling as civilization encroached on their territory.
In 1985, British anthropologist Myra Shackley claimed to have seen the Chuchunaa with her own eyes.
The Russian newspaper Yakutsk Vechernij (Evening Yakutsk) reported in December 2002:
In a village in the Verkhoyansk region, Barylas district, an unknown animal had been caught in a wolf-trap in the middle of March 2002. It was already dead when discovered and described “like a primate” about the size like a large dog. The whole body, apart from feet and face, was covered in fur. It had a long tail. There are three versions about what happened with the corpse: The teacher Jakob Potapov from the neighboring settlement Borulakh said that the body had been taken to the capital Yakutsk. Someone else claimed that the animal had been torn to pieces by dogs and the third version was that “frightened people” had buried the corpse together with the trap.
The chief of the Sartan town concil, Sergej Slepzov, talked about another similar case half a year earlier. A young man, Albert Slepzov, had found by coincidence a dead unknown animal which was similar to an ape. In this connection it was suggested that it could be a Chuchunaa as the ‘wildman’ are known in the region. Older local people who had seen the dead animal called it Aabasi kiila.
A reporter named Elena Tikhonova and a photographer Michael Kotschetov contacted the relatives of Albert Slepzov in the settlement Badagaj. These confirmed that Slepzov had found a strange animal but were unable to say what happened with the corpse. However, according to the council workers of the Verkhoyansk region, Albert Slepzov´s father had buried the body. On hearing this the reporters started out from the capital Yakutsk to find Albert Slepzov in the Verkhoyansk region. After two hours flying time and a twelve hour car driving on dirt tracks they arrived in the village Junkur where Albert Slepzov was supposed to be. He wasn’t there.
They were able to find the eyewitness’s 64-year-old father, Afanasi Slepzov. He reported that his son had found an unknown animal with a long tail in a trap at the end of the October 2001. The color of the coat was an unusual yellow. The boy was afraid and left the animal behind in the wilderness. Back at home he made a sketch of his find. After a few days Afanasi Slepzov tried to find the animal with a companion but, according to him, unsuccessfully due to new snowfall.
The reporters confronted Slepzov with the statements of other people in the village that in reality he had found the animal and had hidden it. Slepzov denied this. The questioning was not continued as it was obvious that the subject made him uncomfortable. According to statements of other village residents, Slepzov had initially kept his sons discovery secret and had first begun to talk about it when rumors were already circulating in the village. It was not possible for the reporters to visit the scene of the second finding in March 2002. Some time later a Moscow travel agency offered to finance another expedition.
The place where this happened lies on the arctic circle in the autonomous Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), eastern Siberia, with the capital Yakutsk about 200 kilometers east of the main ridge of the Verkhoyansk mountains. This area is one of the coldest on Earth where the winter temperature can fall to minus 70°C. It is possible to reach many settlements only by air or over roads which are passable only at certain times of the year. This makes the Chuchunaa one of the most difficult cryptids in the world to reach.
In May 2004, the regional Republic of Sakha newspaper, named Yakutia, reported the following:
“The Screaming of Sendushnyj – Mount Kuorat-Khaja laid opposite the fishing village of Chekurovka. On a dangerous steep slope laid the ruins of an aeroplane. Some old people claimed that in 1957 hunters from the surrounding villages killed a Chuchunaa, the snowman. It is said that its body was brought on the Lena river to Yakutsk [capital of Yakutia] and disappeared there. The legend has it that Chuchunaa lived in the mountains of Verchojansk. It caught reindeers, the skins of which it wore. It is further said that upon meeting people, the snowman would scream quite terribly. In the Tundra, this snowman was named Sendushnyj, after ‘sendukha’, an old name of Tundra. Although this legend defeated any commonsense, it refused to die. On the other side of the mountain range, in the areas of Najba, some reported of a highly discreet creature that was called Ikki-Mterlljakh, literally meaning ‘two meters tall’. It is claimed that those who were hunting, fishing and/or collecting firewood along the riverbank saw the snowman. It is also reported that as dawn set in, he would enter the village.”

Remains from the slope-browed hominid have previously been found over an area stretching from Spain to Uzbekistan, but the new study extends the eastern boundary of their wanderings another 2,000 kilometres (1,250 miles) deep into southern Siberia, just above the western tip of what is today China.
Geneticist Svante Paabo of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and colleagues compared mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequences from bones found from two sites — one in Teshik Tash, Uzbekistan and the other from the Altai Mountains in Siberia — with those of specimens from different European sites.
The study, published in the British journal Nature, confirms that the adult fossils — about 40,000 years old — from Okladnikov Cave in Siberia genetically match the European Neanderthal.
The presence of Neanderthals in Siberia “raises the possibility that they man have been present even farther to the east, in Mongolia and China,” the study notes.
Smaller and squatter than modern man, Neanderthals lived in parts of what are today Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East for around 170,000 years.
In the Nature article of September 30, 2007
titled Neanderthals in central Asia and Siberia it states:
Morphological traits typical of Neanderthals began to appear in European hominids at least 400,000 years ago and about 150,000 years ago in western Asia. After their initial appearance, such traits increased in frequency and the extent to which they are expressed until they disappeared shortly after 30,000 years ago. However, because most fossil hominid remains are fragmentary, it can be difficult or impossible to determine unambiguously whether a fossil is of Neanderthal origin. This limits the ability to determine when and where Neanderthals lived. To determine how far to the east Neanderthals ranged, we determined mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequences from hominid remains found in Uzbekistan and in the Altai region of southern Siberia. Here we show that the DNA sequences from these fossils fall within the European Neanderthal mtDNA variation. Thus, the geographic range of Neanderthals is likely to have extended at least 2,000 km further to the east than commonly assumed.

MessageToEagle.com - A highly thought-provoking theory has been put forward by a researcher who is suggesting that the fabulous Sacsayhuamán temple in Peru might contain a hidden 30,000 year-old writing.
A discovery of this magnitude could easily re-write not only our understanding of the Stone Age but also world history.
Sacsayhuamán remains shrouded in mystery. The question of how the stones of Sacsayhuamán were transported - still remains unanswered. Could the angles of the stones possibly shed more light on the Sacsayhuamán enigma?
Sacsayhuamán - All the blocks were fit together - without mortar - so precisely that even a mechanic's thickness gauge could not be inserted between them.
Dr. Derek Cunningham, a published author and researcher has put forward a controversial and highly intriguing theory.
Based on his studies of the Sacsayhuamán complex, he concluded that the curious angles formed by these stones reveal ancient Inca knowledge of astronomical alignments of the moon, sun and the earth, as well as knowledge of lunar and solar eclipses.
However, what Dr. Cunningham is suggesting is unorthodox because his hypothesis revolves around the thought that our ancient ancestors developed 'writing' at least 30,000 years ago from a geometrical form of text that is based on the motion of the moon and the sun.

He asserts that such ancient astronomical text, identical to that seen at Sacsayhuamán, is also found in both Lascaux and Chauvet caves in Europe, the African carved Ishango tally bone, and a circa 30,000-year-old carved stone found at the Shuidonggou Paleolithic Site in China.

Dr. Cunningham became interested in Sacsayhuamán when he first noted a series of unusual ground patterns located close to some Scottish sites. This discovery drove him on to look at other ancient sites hoping to find some similarities and he did.
He discovered that the Sacsayhuamán stone angles reveal something extraordinary.
"Each astronomical value (there are 9 standard values in total) was chosen by ancient astronomers to aid the prediction of eclipses. These astronomical terms are a mixture of values astronomers use to measure time (the 27.32-day sidereal month) and values to determine when the moon, earth and sun align at nodes. This includes the use of the 18.6-year nodal cycle of the moon, the 6.511 draconic months period between eclipse seasons, and also the 5.1-degree angle of inclination of the moon's orbit. The remaining values typically are either half-values of various lunar terms, or values connected to the 11-day difference between the lunar and solar years," Dr. Cunningham says.

Dr. Cunningham believes that scientists should focus their attention on the hidden writing discovered at Sacsayhuamán.
"Now, substantial evidence has also been discovered that this archaic writing was used, perhaps almost continuously, until 500 years ago," states Cunningham.
"Recently the analysis of the Muisca Tunjo figurines from Columbia uncovered evidence that they were constructed to the exact same astronomical design as Bronze Age figurines uncovered in Cyprus.
This discovery of such possible "recent" use of a Stone Age text thus prompted me to take a new look at circa 15th to 16th century Inca architecture, which is famous for its fabulous over-complex interlocking walls.
The question I asked was could the massive polygonal walls of Sacsayhuamán align to the exact same astronomical values used in the Columbian Muiscan figurines, and the Atacama Giant of Chile?
The surprising result is yes."
"What is powerful about this new theory is that it is very simple and easy to test," adds Cunningham.
"Further work is of course required. Satellite images cannot clearly take the place of direct field work, and photographs placed online may have become distorted, but so far the data obtained appears highly consistent." Dr. Cunningham is not afraid of criticism.
"I honestly do not care whether I am right or wrong about this," he concludes.
"All I have found so far is that the data is what it is. The potential of the idea to explain some things about so many sites from the pyramids of Egypt to the Atacama Giant in Chile is obviously very controversial, and it should be. But if correct, it could rewrite some aspects of our understanding of not only the Stone Age but also world history. If, on the other hand, scholars prove this specific astronomical theory wrong, then we can move on, knowing that it has been sufficiently tested.
What is most intriguing is that a complete new window may have been opened into the past."
I used to firmly believe that we as predators were at the very top of the food chain.
Then, others who also claimed to be abductees, some of whom I met through Budd Hopkins and his house "get-togethers," told me horror stories about abductions.
They had seen, met onboard craft, an alien race, frightening beings who radiated rage and hatred, reptilian alien overlords of many alien races who abduct humans and who pilot UFOS.
Muscular, winged, sentient, highly technological, upright standing to seven or eight feet tall, sentient UFO monitor lizard reptilians who looked upon us, as we fancied veal.
You see, these abductees had somehow also gleaned what reptoids regular diets consisted of..
Some even admitted to have pierced another horrid 'truth' that they had gleaned:
We are already cocooned within a matrix, elusive and revealing, far from "reality", and please, "Pay no attention to the Reptilian, behind the curtains!"
It was a chilling story I was to hear repeatedly echoed elsewhere.
It reframed correctly, at least to my mind, what the true M.O. (modus operendi) was, behind this particular alien type and its interaction/visitations with mankind.
We are a 'delectable' chosen people', a harvestable 'crop' farmed throughout the Universe, with the same impunity that we humans, assert animal husbandry rights over all other creatures, on this preserve, that we call, "Earth".
Stunning, is how blind UFO "skywatchers" and media are simply focused on documenting, reporting only craft and not ever the occupants within, and their intents, motives and tactics, surely an alien- Jedi- mind- trick, at work.
At Bud Hopkin's house, reptilians ate humans and we sipped tea and cookies, discussing it.
It put one in mind of a classic Twilight Zone episode called,"To Serve Man", which neatly summed up man's importance in the galaxy as a main course, not just a mere condiment.
But you and I, reader, should not worry as our flesh by now is too tough, old and tainted with age.
Helmeted with their God masquerade, in the Bible, and fed manna to improve taste, as we feed beef corn for a richer texture in steaks, we are food for thought!
It makes one want to change eating habits, to make an apparent moral decision and assume a vegetarian diet and not ever atavistically revert, despite the fact that we too have mouths intended by evolution to tear flesh, well equipped by nature with excellent meat-tearing incisors.....and fangs.
I had never 'imagined' such creatures!
My abduction recalls were of almost-friendly entities who were masters of illusions, ones who tested me in mind-imposed scenarios of moral dilemmas.
Small job-beings did the kidnapping and answered to taller Greys.
They were tall, white like a refrigerator, flat like a Gumby cartoon character and spoke mind-to-mind.
Extremely controlling and highly psychic, they worked for and answered to reptilian beings.

Taken body and spirit, wrapped in REMs, we are instead considered a product, not a sentient entity race worthy of respect and dignity and mutual non-interference..
These farmer- thieves, highly technological and uncannily canny, are very highly psychic.
These are the demons of the third century, abducting, controlling, nighttime, bedroom visitors, negative-thought entities, who pilot/frequent alien craft UFOs, who view us as their property.
We are, in R.E.M.s, taken, wrapped in a cocoon of delusional vivid screen memories, and kept on this short psychic leash, to be marched around a craft in dulled awareness and suggestive amnesia.
Returned to bed,one later recalls a snippet of an odd, 'dream'.
The best game-keeper never let the creatures within, suspect that it is, indeed, a preserve.
Reptilians are Hollow-Earth, interdimensional, time-traveling, highly technological beings, whose planet we goof about, unaware of whose image we truly were created in.
Has this been going on from the beginning of time?
Aliens , reptilians, as native and terrestrial to our planet as are thunderstorms, the game wardens of this preserve that we call 'Earth, inter dimensional as well as inter galactic.
They do use the same astral dimension that ghosts and demons use to enter and exit our physical reality.
The lower Earth animal forms seen as reptiles, amphibians, insects are mirrored and echoed by the higher technological forms which have been seen aboard craft who have lent their DNA to create this preserve.
We , too, are constructs of their creative meddling.
When people ask them,"Where are you from?" Where do you come from?", they are often told,"We come from within."
That is, after physical abductions, their possessing energies are deposited, not unlike the lamprey parasites that they are, within the multi layered human psyche/mind.)
Could our minds offer protection?
By virtue of the unexpected result, the appearance of a saurian monstrously tall reptilian in the center of my living room who radiated a loathsome palpable rage and hatred, shortly after I tried using a mind-weapon psychic technique, I determined that I would never remotely try any anti-reptilian mental exercise tool again!
(However, a skilled TEAM might en masse bring forth most marvelous results...)
The unused power of our minds is part of the raw quantum physics of the universe and it has latent powers, both miraculous and awesome, as seen in this power flexing exercise that back-fired.
But it brought against me almost immediate retaliation most awful, which underlined its potential efficacy.
Are you capable of being as foolhardy as I was?
With your eyes closed, visualize an alien craft, a disc-shaped or cigar- shaped large UFO, and see it in your mind's eye, perched or flying above our planet or high within our skies, many miles overhead.
Visualize all quadrants of this very large craft, full of overlord reptilians and subservient greys, all busy at machinery; study the tiers and levels of it in full detail for a full half-minute.
Visualize that a force from your mind sharply hits the ship; jar the craft violently and then toss it into another section of space, like a football, end over end.
Clearly see it hurled across a short distance in space, at a tilted pitched angle and visualize/ imagine all entities onboard now suddenly very startled and frightened.
I augmented this visualization, used a quick head tilt to accentuate my strong mental suggestion of the craft's jump.
Distracted elsewhere, I had totally forgotten about this experimental exercise within a half-hour.
But then a creature from a nightmare appeared and changed my life.
A Mothman-like reptilian, a scaled, ceiling-high saurian being semi materialized.

Without moving I was suddenly warmed by a massive smoldering feeling of hatred; it surrounded me with menace as though I were near a hot radiator.
Its reddish/yellow eyes radiated a palpable loathing and rage, which amazed and awed me rather than frightened me as I had lost my senses to surprise..
Half monitor lizard, half man, it telepathed an overpowering sense of malice which stopped me in awe. I was much too surprised to feel fear.
The creature vanished after a full 10 seconds.
Later, days and weeks later in my life, that saurian vendetta surely and without question manifested a series of horrid and painful accidents which seemed later to underline the smoldering, tangible hatred and rage that it had radiated towards me.
Emergency surgeries involving neck discs which had completely pinched my spinal chord , and soon after, a drive-by automobile hit and run which had shattered my knee and had nearly almost killed me.
In retrospect, those agonies and sudden misfortunes were not worth the risk of what was after all a very foolhardy experiment.
But I couldn't help but wonder how just a single human mind could be such a powerful weapon/tool; it can remotely control unseen overhead alien craft that do indeed respond to powerful telepathic messages.
I later couldn't help but wonder what a highly skilled group of focused minds, an orchestra of minds in unison, might also be able to accomplish.
We are not as helpless against these creatures and their machines, as everyone thinks.
I was living in Jersey City at the time, and I was coming from my second job at a Video store, riding my bike, since it was only five blocks away and as I was one block from my house. I saw out of the corner of my eyes, what I thought was a meteor because it was coming straight down at lightning speed, so I looked up and it was like an orange fire ball when it was coming down. When it got to , I would guess 200 feet from the ground, it stopped and thats when I saw that it wasnt a meteor. It was a flying disk and it looked like it was a meteor because it was coming down on it edge but as it stopped it slowly began to turn right side up and thats when I saw that it was dark grey on top. Then it slowly turned on it edge and I saw the bottom. It had 5 pentagon shaped lights wich covered the whole under side. They were emerald colored and they were aranged one in the middle and the rest around it. Then it just shot up at a high rate of speed after being just hovering. It just accelerated so fast that my eyes could not follow it and it did all this without a single bit of sound. Thats why I know this thing was not made here. All flying machines made by us make sound and none had the flying charasteristics of this thing. I stood motionless as I saw it and my tears started to come out, I don’t know why, because I felt no fear at all, just an overwelming feeling of disbelief, and then admiration. I remember I stood there for about half an hour after it left, just looking up, and my tears coming out. I went home and never talked about it until a few years later. I just know that people look at you like you were on drugs when you talk about these things, so I kept my mouth shut, specially from my dad.
Multiple Texas witnesses at Galveston watched and videotaped a “silent, clear flying circle” UFO that crossed the sky, according to June 24, 2014, testimony in Case 57336 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witnesses were playing basketball about 8:30 p.m. on June 12, 2014, near the Galveston Seawall when the object was first seen. One of the witnesses’ brothers filed the MUFON report.
“They noticed a silent, clear circle flying over them headed north,” the reporting witness stated. “Probably five or six people witnessed the event. No one could tell what it was.”
The group watched the object as it crossed the sky.
“They watched it until you couldn’t see it. It traveled straight the whole time.”

Thomas described himself as an amateur historian of over forty years with a library of over eleven hundred non-fiction books on history, religion, philosophy and the modern sciences (Page 533.) He dedicated his work to answer three major questions: where do we come from, what is the purpose of life, and what is humankind’s destiny?
EARLY CIVILIZATION COMPLEXITY
Thomas tentatively began his quest with questions about the magnificent “stone work” of the ancients. He spoke of the miraculous construction in Lebanon at Baalbek in the Beka valley. There were also Egyptian monuments. One was the Great Pyramid. Thomas outlined the work of American engineer Christopher Dun:
“This evidence is to be found in direct and clearly visible markings and the abrasion of trace impressions, left by sophisticated machinery on extremely hard stone surfaces,” said Thomas, “used in the construction of the pyramids and many other stone objects found throughout the Great Pyramid and Egyptian ruins.”
Thomas marveled over how ancients came to possess knowledge of the “precession of the equinoxes”, the Giza Star Map, the Piri Reis maps, and the Mayan Aztec Calendar.
“There has been no paradigm shift in our thinking to account for the fact that someone in history prior to our present era,” said Thomas about the Piri Reis map, “had the ability to see through the ice masses of Antarctica up to two miles thick and map the coastline.”
The Mayan-Aztec Calendar: “…it remains clear that the degree of scientific knowledge and understanding that is demonstrated in the construction and the function of this calendar is far beyond any other single achievement that has been discovered in relationship to these cultures to date,” said Thomas. “The information contained in these calendars is not primitive, but highly advanced.”
Tiahuanaco-LakeTiticaca: This included the Gateway of the Sun, Puma Punko, and the Kalasasaya Temple. “By any reasonable standard of measure the structure and function of the ruins at Tiahuanaco are beyond present understanding in relationship to the remote time in history during which they were constructed,” said Thomas, “to discover their purpose we must engage a new way of thinking…”
Quimbay Jets: These ancient Pre-Columbian artifacts were a hypersonic aeronautic design and replica of the NASA space shuttle. “It is not a stylized bird, bug or fish as described in the window of the display cases of the museums where they are kept,” said Thomas. “It is a stylized jet aircraft. No amount of weaseling around it will change the fact.”
Sixteen-times-larger, scale models from balsawood, fitted with a small airplane propeller engine in one model, jet engine in the other, flew flawlessly “without any modifications to the original Baya design.”
“There is no question that advanced knowledge existed in the past,” said Thomas. “Though it may seem by some to be a rebellious position to take, we don’t dismiss the evidence by living in denial and refusing to accept the logical and obvious.”
THE ZACHARIA SITCHIN LEGACY
Thomas spent considerable discussion about Zecharia Sitchin’s research into the Sumerian accounts of alien Anunnaki from Niburu. There are multiple interpretations of the meaning of the Sumerian accounts, but Thomas believed the Anunnaki and their absence in human history is one of the major factors missing from true meaning of humankind. “With their ability to negotiate interstellar space travel,” said Thomas, “the Anunnaki were clearly much further down the path of scientific knowledge than we are in our current state of understanding. They would certainly have mastered many of the secrets of genetics which enable an increased life span.”
Thomas created a drama-of-events about Anunnaki history based on Sumerian legends, much like Zecharia Sitchin’s research. This involved advanced technology, including genetic tampering of homosapienssapiens. The Book of Enoch portrayed these events; the Epic of Gilgamesh, The Old Testament, Indian Mahabbarata and Vedas, as well as a host of legends and myths.
“Though the Anunnak no longer maintained a permanent presence on Earth after approximately 2500 B.C.,” said Thomas, “There are many historical indications that they continued to have a directly supportive and influential role in shaping historical affairs. They occasionally appear on Earth and influence landmark events and provide pivotal assistance to key historical figures.”

I saw this video on Trish & Rob MacGregor’s blog synchrosecrets and, yes, it is another UFO sighting but somehow this has an element of truth about it – see what you think.
The sighting dates back to October 1954 and was by a Jessie Rosenberg from the West Midlands in England. The story is that it was banned from being aired on UK television in the late 1960s. Mrs Rosenberg describes what she and her two sons witnessed.

Theoretisch natuurkundige Henry P. Stapp van de Universiteit van Californië-Berkeley werkte samen met enkele grondleggers van de kwantummechanica. Hij zegt dat het bestaan van de ziel past binnen de wetten van de natuurkunde.

De fysieke en mentale wereld zijn op een dynamische manier met elkaar verbonden. Het bewustzijn en het brein kunnen los van elkaar bestaan, maar toch verbonden zijn door de natuurkundige wetten, aldus Stapp. Hiermee is een eeuwenoud probleem opgelost – de ogenschijnlijke noodzaak om het bewustzijn gelijk te stellen aan het brein of het brein dynamisch afhankelijk te maken van het bewustzijn.
Stapp zei dat een persoonlijkheid van een overleden persoon zichzelf kan hechten aan een levend persoon, iets wat ook wel bezetenheid wordt genoemd. While we don’t go out researching anymore, we have left our site up for people to see what we found in the three years we researched our county. From time to time we get a report in our area and other parts of Missouri. People are often looking for answers to what they saw or experienced, and no one really has those answers. No one has been able to give an accurate answer to the craft that are seen in the sky and the beings that people have encountered over the years.
Just as we have different makes and models of cars, planes, helicopters and ships, so it seems that the ones in our airspace also created different models, and just as we have a diversity of races on our planet, there seem to be different races controlling these craft. Triangle shaped, cigar shaped, groupings of saucers, acorn shaped, fast, slow, or hovering, there are hundreds of reports across the globe on a daily basis, and so many more sightings that are never reported.
Yesterday I was contacted by a person who had been in contact with me before and this time she was able to get a video of what she saw.
Reported on June 22, 2014 from the Fredericktown, Missouri area:
“I thought I’d share with you guys the sighting I had this evening! The hubby made up his mind it was a helicopter, but I think not. It was all one color, orangey-yellow, reminded me of video footage I’ve seen of the Chinese lanterns people launch as far as the hue and how the light behaved, but much larger than one of those little lanterns. It was just under the clouds. I think helicopter light is usually bright white and I think they also have blinking lights, and multiple color lights (?) There was no sound either, and for being so low I am sure there should have been some sound. Hubby thought it could have been one of those military helicopters, he says some of them have whisper mode. I took a video but it’s not really that helpful. It travelled fairly slowly. When I first spotted it, there seemed to be a few seconds of hovering in place, but then gradually it travelled in a straight line in a south-east direction and went a little higher disappearing into the clouds. Interesting there was a small earthquake in Steeleville earlier this evening, maybe just a coincidence. In any case I was pretty intrigued by it! Here is the link to the video.”
While this video doesn’t show a lot of detail, I believe it is very clear that this was not a plane or helicopter. She stated there was no noise and even though there are stealth aircraft and helicopters that have a whisper mode, they still emit some kind of noise, probably a small hissing sound like air leaking out or a quieter whirring noise than what the normal helicopters make.
Out of curiosity, I checked a few places to see how many sightings have been reported in Missouri so far this month. NUFORC shows 13 from listed from St. Louis, Holts Summit, Hermann, Kansas City, St. Peters, and Ashland, while MUFON shows 23 reports in Ballwin, Independence, Lake Ozark, Bronson, St. Louis, Jefferson City, and Raytown. Reports include a chrome sphere, balls of lights, fast moving lights, triangles and cylinders.
That is 36 sightings reported for the month of June, alone, and there is no telling how many other sightings there are that were not reported for various reasons. Because there is still a stigma associated with UFO and Extraterrestrial sightings, and because some investigators are less than honest and upfront with the experiencers, many people are less eager to report what they have seen.
We may never start our research again, but we are still aware of what is around us, what is out there and we will leave up The Midnight Observer and we will continue to add reports and articles to the site.
Food for thought: If God created this vast Universe, you have to wonder where we fall in the scheme of things: Were we the first planet he put life on or the last? Or maybe he has been creating life on planets the whole time?
Our home is about 30 miles from the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Depository in South West Nevada on the North Side, and on the South West side by the Funeral Mountains – on the other side is Death Valley, California.
This is ongoing. We see round red lights over the Nellis AFB Range which hover then disappear. The nearest government aircraft base is the Indian Springs drone base, but we do not think this is a US drone out after dark.
We have seen movement when there are multiple lights. They sometimes drop suddenly and are replaced by other round lights. No civilian aircraft are allowed over the Nellis restricted airspace. We have an unobstructed view as there is nothing but open desert between us and the mountains where we see the lights. Population density in our area- 2 persons per square mile.
My wife Theresa was an airborne traffic reporter in Southern California.
She flew fixed wing and helicopters. Her Father was a jet engine mechanic and a Pilot. She has extensive knowledge of aircraft. She and her parents are US born but she grew up in Saudi Arabia where her dad had landed a very good position. She has traveled extensively by air and ground in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. She also was a Reporter on Channel Metro 4 Los Angeles, and other TV and Radio stations. She is a trained observer.

Lightning Knocks Man Clean Out of His ‘Smoking’ Boots
A man who was blown out of his boots by lightning at the weekend says he’s grateful to be alive. Sean O’Connor, 30, from Coweta County, south of Atlanta, Georgia, said he had just picked up a rake on Saturday when, suddenly, he heard a loud crack. “It sounded like a tree falling over,” he said.
“It threw me across the driveway and knocked me out of my boots.” Disoriented, O’Connor initially assumed he had been hit by a tree, until seeing his smoking boot. “When I noticed my boots were on the other side of the driveway and I heard the thunder, I realized it was lightning that had just hit me,” he said.
“When I stood up, I had blood in my mouth. I could smell burnt hair; felt like I had a bad sunburn on my leg,” he added. After collecting himself, O’Connor called his wife to tell her what had happened, sending her a cellphone video of the scene when she initially thought he was exaggerating.
O’Connor’s wife then urged him to go to the hospital, where he was held for 24 hours because of an irregular heartbeat. O’Connor returned home on Sunday, emerging from the potentially fatal incident with lower back pain, a few scrapes from when he was thrown and no indications of permanent damage. “I look like my normal self,” he said. “It’s hard for people to believe I was struck by lightning.” – ABC News
‘Hypnotist Bandit’ strikes again…fourth bank in a month
A robber who allegedly hypnotizes bank tellers in to giving him money is being pursued by police.
The mysterious thief appeared to rely not on guns, knives or other conventional weapons but on his strange hypnotic stare to steal money from at least four different banks across Manhattan over the last few weeks.
On Friday he reportedly entered a Bank of America branch and handed the teller a note stating “this is a robbery” and to make it “quick and easy”.
Rather than attempting to conceal his identity like most robbers however the enigmatic perpetrator instead proceeded to stare the teller right in the eyes the entire time, not looking away even once until he had received the money and was ready to leave.
The FBI are now attempting to hunt down the man before he can strike again. Read more at LA Times
Using his strongest language to date, Pope Francis told Italian Mafia members on Saturday that they are excommunicated from the Catholic Church.
“Those who in their life have gone along the evil ways, as in the case of the mafia, they are not with God, they are excommunicated,” Francis said in an outdoor Mass in Piana di Sibari, Calabria.
It is the first time a Pope has spoken of excommunication for the Mafia. Excommunication, which excludes Catholics from the church, can be imposed by church authorities or incurred automatically for certain grave offenses.
The Pope’s remarks will resonate strongly in this part of southern Italy, where the Mafia are known to attempt to portray themselves as upstanding religious men in good rapport with the Catholic Church, in order to maintain local credibility.
During a one-day visit to Calabria, the Pope denounced the local mafia, called ‘Ndrangheta, as an example of “the adoration of evil and contempt for the common good.”
According to reports, ‘Ndrangheta is one of the wealthiest international crime organizations, with an annual turnover of 53 billion euros ($72 billion), much of it from the global cocaine trade.
Calabria also suffers from 56% youth unemployment, which the Mafia exploits with promises of jobs for disillusioned young people.
“They must be told, No!” the Pope said to a crowd of over 100,000 gathered for the outdoor Mass.
Earlier during his visit, Pope Francis met with relatives of a 3-year-old boy, Nicola Campolongo, who was the victim of an alleged Mafia hit in January.
Nicknamed Coco, the boy was with his grandfather when they were both shot and their bodies subsequently burned in a car.
It is not the first time the Pope has spoken out against the Mafia. In March in Rome at a meeting with families of victims, the Pope called directly on Mafia bosses to repent, saying “hell … awaits you if you continue on this road.”
Some anti-mafia prosecutors have worried that the Mafia may target Pope Francis, who is also reforming the Vatican, including its scandal-scarred bank, the Institute for Religious Works.
“The strong will of Pope Francis, aiming to disrupt the gangrene power centers, puts him at risk. He disturbs the Mafia very much,” Nicola Gratteri, a prosecutor in Calabria, told CNN in November. – CNN
Titan is one of the most extraordinary places in the solar system. The land is strewn with hydrocarbon dunes that rise above lakes fed by rivers of liquid methane and ethane. The atmosphere is so thick, and the gravity so weak, that a human could strap on wings and flap into the air. That air is laced with lethal hydrogen cyanide.
Scientists are investigating a mystery object, (see image above) roughly 12 miles long and 6 miles wide, that appeared in an image dated July 10, 2013 but is missing from pictures of the same spot taken previously and on July 26, 2014.
Astronomers have named the blob the “magic island” until they have a better idea what they are looking at. “We can’t be sure what it is yet because we only have the one image, but it’s not something you would normally see on Titan,” said Jason Hofgartner, a planetary scientist at Cornell University in New York. “It is not something that has been there permanently.” Read full article
Here’s a story that has been going around the web since about 2007. It’s pretty amazing and I’m kind of surprised that it hasn’t received more attention. I think many editors thought it was too far fetched to be true.
To be honest, we thought it was a hoax until one of the staff here at viewzone decided to procure the film strips from the NASA site, noticed that there were two images of the object available (taken from different angles) and made a 3D composite image. The results are at the bottom of this page. While we are not confident about the accompanying video and images of the “alien entity” (the female body), we are surprised that the 3D images do show an actual object on the Moon’s surface.
If you have the old red-blue 3D glasses you can see the spaceship pretty clearly. There’s not much doubt that it’s a spaceship — either that or a submarine — but we’ll leave that up to our readers to decide.
Background Story
The story comes to us from a man who claims he was on a special NASA mission:
William Rutledge is retired and now lives in Africa. He recently came out to reveal some amazing facts about his involvement with NASA in the late 70s. Rutledge claims to have worked on at least two missions to the Moon, including the failed Apollo 19, and the Apollo 20, which he says was launched in August of 1976 from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Both of these missions, according to Rutledge, were “classified joint Space missions” resulting from collaborations between U.S. and Soviet governments. They do not appear on any roster of NASA missions — and, if this is true — for good reasons.
The purpose of these missions was to investigate a large object on the far side of the moon in the Delporte-Izsak region, allegedly discovered and photographed during the Apollo 15 mission. The object, which vaguely resembled an “X-Wing” fighter as seen in the Star Wars films, was supposed to have been a very large alien spacecraft which had crashed or was otherwise abandoned on the Moon in ancient times.
How big is the ship? Thanks to website ramistrip.com we have a graphic to dmeonstrate. When we say “huge” we really need another word because it doesn’t come close to describe this space ship. I will let the picture do the talking!
Images, and even videos of this alleged craft have appeared on the web, and have been popularized by researchers like Richard C. Hoagland over the last several years.
Recovered body of female EBE
Rutledge claims that they (with Soviet Cosmonaut, Lexei Leonov) landed a Lunar Module (Russian made) near the alien ship and actually entered it. Certain atrifacts were discovered and recovered, including two bodies alleged to be the “pilots” — one was in excellent condition and appeared to be female. A second body was too deteriorated to recover and just the head was retrieved. The female has been dubed, “Mona Lisa.”
“We went inside the big spaceship, also into a triangular one. The major parts of the exploration was; it was a mother ship, very old, who crossed the universe at least milliard of years ago (1.5 estimated). There were many signs of biology inside, old remains of a vegetation in a “motor” section, special triangular rocks who emitted “tears” of a yellow liquid which has some special medical properties, and of course signs of extra solar creatures. We found remains of little bodies (10cm) living in a network of glass tubes all along the ship, but the major discovery was two bodies, one intact.
The “City” was named on Earth and scheduled as station one, but it appeared to be a real space garbage, full of scrap, gold parts, only one construction seemed intact (we named it the Cathedral). We made shots of pieces of metal, of every part wearing calligraphy, exposed to the sun. The “City” seem to be as old as the ship, but it is a very tiny part. On the rover video, the telephotolens make the artifacts greater.
I don’t remember who named the girl, Leonov or me — was the intact EBE. Humanoid, female, 1.65 meter. Genitalized, haired, six fingers (we guess that mathematics are based on a dozen). Function; pilot, piloting device fixed to fingers and eyes, no clothes, we had to cut two cables connected to the nose. No nostril. Leonov unfixed the eyes device (you’ll see that in the video). concretions of blood or bio liquid erupted and froze from the mouth, nose, eyes and some parts of the body. Some parts of the body were in unusual good condition, (hair) and the skin was protected by a thin transparent protection layer. As we told to mission control, condition seemed not dead not alive. We had no medical background or experience, but Leonov and I used a test, we fixed our bio equipment on the EBE, and telemetry received by surgeon (Mission Control meds) was positive. That’s another story. Some parts could be unbelievable now, I prefer tell the whole story when other videos will be online. This experience has been filmed in the LM. We found a second body, destroyed, we brought the head on board. Color of the skin was blue gray, a pastel blue. Skin had some strange details above the eyes and the front, a strap around the head, wearing no inscription. The “cockpit” was full of calligraphy and formed of long semi hexagonal tubes. She is on Earth and she is not dead, but I prefer to post other videos before telling what happened after.” – William Rutledge interview
Strange tubes were found on the alien female’s face. These were later removed and her body was inspected and filmed on board the Lunar Module. The video is available on youtube.
Samples of what appears to be writing were also discovered, although it looks more like scribble.
Viewzone’s conclusion
While the video and story could have been faked, the object which was photographed by Appollo 15 is patently real. It is not discoloration of the surface, a photographic artifact or an oddly illuminated crater. The 3D photograph clearly shows the shape and position of this very unusual object.

In light of theC4C BEK Encounter that I posted yesterday, I decided to pull up a few of the BEK encounters forwarded to me by eyewitnesses of the years:
My father and I were in Dulce, NM today. I’ve lived in NM since 2000, but never been to this town, despite it having quite the history in cattle mutilations, etc. As we were inside the grocery store, there were 2 very strange-looking teens wandering around, almost like brother and sister. The younger boy was about 11 and had his hair slicked like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals and the teen girl was wearing dark black sunglasses indoors the whole time.
Upon leaving the store, another family was coming in – a white, engineering-type nerdy government lab-looking type with a native American woman, along with their 4 children. There was a baby in the basket covered with a blanket, 2 year-old, and what looked like 4 and 7 year-old girls. The combination of the nerdy engineering-type white guy with his native-looking wife, in such an insular community seemed strange, to me, for this area.
Then, there was the children, whose skin was much, much darker than that of what I assumed to be their native American mother. The 2 girls stopped short of me, as I was coming out of the grocery store entrance. The way they looked at me – almost animal-like, in curiosity, with silent gazes and their heads cocked inquisitively, almost like a curious puppy dog, with what seemed to be extremely dark black, very reflective, glistening eyes. Your recent posting about black eyed children was new information to me. I read lot of UFO material and watch a zillion TV shows on the paranormal, but this was the first time I had heard about possible alien/human hybrid children now living among us. (Guess I should come out from under my rock more often.)
The “black eye” part of the story really gave me a shock. We live in a neighborhood of small family houses in Arlington, Texas. Every year we have from 40 to 60 trick-or-treaters at our door on Halloween night. They usually consist of small children accompanied by adults, older children in groups, and teenagers who can’t seem to give up their childhood fun. Sometimes the teens don’t even bother to wear costumes.
Halloween night of 2011 was a busy one on our street. At one point I answered the doorbell to a large group of kids of various ages. Two of the tallest ones were dressed in rather flashy costumes. I remember nylon net, glitter, sequins, and garish makeup. I don’t remember if they were both girls or if one was a boy. I always pay attention and compliment the kids on their costumes. When I looked at the eyes of the teenagers, I was really taken aback. The entire visible eyeballs were a shiny coal black! I told them they had great costumes and I think I asked if “those things” hurt their eyes. I naturally assumed they were wearing contact lenses covering their entire eye surface. I got no answer to my question. They just sort of smiled. Maybe they just didn’t want to converse with an elderly grandmother type. I don’t even know if I got a thank-you for the candy from them or not.
I closed the door before the mass of kids left the porch, so I don’t know if the two teens went off by themselves or were with some of the younger kids. I remember mentioning to my husband that some teens were wearing what looked like painful contact lenses and then didn’t think about the incident until you told me about “black-eyed-children.” Wow. or not a Wow. Were they hybrids or just ultra cool teens? I tend to believe the latter, and that they were trying to shock people. In any case, they succeeded with me. I know I would not have let them in my house, whatever they were!
A few days ago, a Memphis, TN woman called into TN MUFON to report that she was sure she had just had an encounter with an alien/human hybrid baby at Cosco’s in Cordova, Tennessee. She and her granddaughter had gone there to pick-up a birthday cake. As soon as they walked through the entrance, a tall Asian-looking man, who was apparently in a big hurry, walked directly across their path almost running into them. He was dressed casually in all black clothing and had a Caucasian-looking infant in a carrier basket strapped in front of him. He seemed to take no notice whatsoever of her and her granddaughter as he marched on past them without one word of apology for his near collision with them. My correspondent, who has asked to remain anonymous, told me that seeing a man of Asian descent who was over six feet tall was in itself unusual, but she had to confess that the racial contradiction between himself and his infant companion startled her more than anything else.
She didn’t get a good look at the baby at that time. If she had, she might have stopped in her tracks right then and there and asked her granddaughter, “did you see that?” But neither she or her granddaughter commented at that moment about this sudden “close encounter.” They just proceeded on back to the bakery as if nothing had happened. After they purchased the cake, they started heading towards the entrance to leave. As they did so, the lady told me she spotted this Asian fellow moving rapidly down some aisles and taking a quick, sharp right-angle turn to cross over to another aisle. He didn’t have a shopping cart and hadn’t picked up one item from the shelves. Maybe he was just anxiously looking for one thing for some emergency need, possibly to do with the baby.
Just as the lady and her granddaughter were approaching the front of the store to leave, the second “close encounter” occurred. The Asian man suddenly appeared again and walked by them. My witness then got a good look at the baby. This woman swears to me that this infant had intensely bright blue eyes with no white area surrounding them! I talked to other researchers like Linda Howe about this report and was assured that these all blue-eyed people are being seen all over now in different parts of the country, adults as well as children. The Native American Medicine woman Three-Spirit Wolf who spoke in Memphis last June told us after hearing this recent story from Memphis that she had met some of the hybrids out in New Mexico last year. They were wearing dark sunglasses. One of them removed his glasses to reveal his utterly eerie-looking all-blue eyes without the white. He asked her if people had commented to her about seeing him or some of his other hybrid companions. Apparently they are trying to be as inconspicuous as possible in public.
Top alien abduction researcher Dr. David Jacobs of Temple University is convinced that the alien hybridization program is alarmingly evident in our society now. I know this lady who reported seeing the all blue-eyed baby in Memphis just the other day. I can vouch for her credibility. She saw what she saw. Maybe this can be explained as some weird new mutation showing up in the human eye at this time…or maybe it is true that “they” now walk among us.
(Postscript: the lady told me that when they got back home, she asked her granddaughter what she thought about seeing the strange Asian man and his all blue-eyed baby in the carrier. The lady had thought it a little curious in fact that her granddaugher who usually comments on seeing cute babies in public had not said one word about this. The granddaughter said she hadn’t noticed this man or the baby!)

Mr. Strickler – I was listening to your radio interview with David Weatherly because I am seeking information concerning black-eyed children. I hope it is OK to direct my concerns directly to you.
I am a widow with a teenage daughter in Casper, Wyoming, an area west of the city near the county airport. The property had been in my husband’s family for many years. I recently purchased an adjacent home and property after the owner passed away. This is where the story actually begins.
I settled on the new property just after Thanksgiving. Since it was purchased ‘as is’ it was fairly inexpensive but requires a lot of work. I hired an auction house to come in and remove the contents for future sale. The auction was scheduled for next week, but there have been a few odd things going when the items were first listed for sale.
I received a phone call from the auctioneer a few weeks ago. He wanted to know if I had any knowledge concerning the contents from the house. I told him that I didn’t know the owner that well but that I did know that he had lived on the property since the 1950s. The auctioneer said that a young woman came into the auction house and told him that the property and contents were stolen and that it belonged to her family in North Dakota. She didn’t give her name but assured him that she had documentation to prove her assertions and that she planned to take legal action if the sale continued. I contacted my attorney and the realtor who verified that the property sale was legal and that there were no prior claims to it.
The young woman, who was described as ‘very plain, thin with long black hair’, has not been heard from since. It was decided that the auction would continue as scheduled.
Then this past Tuesday, New Years Day around noon, someone rang the doorbell. I was in the kitchen and I knew my daughter would answer the door. I heard the door open and the voice of a young girl. My daughter soon yelled loudly ‘Mom, come here’. As I walked down the hallway toward the door I noticed 3 girls standing on the porch. They stood without movement staring directly at me. As I approached, I was shocked when I soon noticed that their eyes were completely black in color. I asked if I could help them. The tallest girl asked if they could come in to talk about the house and property I had recently purchased.
I immediately replied that we were busy and that I would give them the phone number to my attorney if they had any inquiries. They just turned and walked away without saying anything else. Each of the girls had blonde hair and wore heavy winter clothing with boots. They seemed to be in their early teens. I watched as they walked toward the highway and eventually lost sight of them.
Since then we have not been contacted by anyone concerning the property. The auction has been postponed for other reasons and has not been rescheduled. My attorney continues to research the property records for any other information.
I supposed the most important question is – who are these children? Do I need to be concerned? I look forward to your comments. SA
Hello – something happened last summer that has left me with many questions and few answers. I was employed at an appliance and furniture rental & sales business in Great Bend, Kansas. One morning a co-worker and I opened the store. When we arrived we noticed that the backdoor was open and when we entered the backroom all the lights in the store had been turned on. I didn’t look like a break-in because the security latch was intact. The security system had been disabled – there was no power indicator on the code box. We immediately called the police and the store manager to report the situation. We were told not to open the store and to remain in the back office until someone arrived.
A few minutes later, after hanging up the phone with the store manager, a police officer was knocking on the back door. I left him in and told him what we had found when we arrived. The officer started to walk through the back room and into the showroom when we started to hear a baby cry. I thought that a customer may have somehow entered the store and that they had a baby with them. My co-worker and I followed the officer in the direction of the crying – well, I didn’t believe what I saw. There were 2 babies lying on a twin size bed display. The officer told us to stay there while he checked the rest of the store. He had also radioed for another police officer to come to the location.
I looked down at the babies who were both tightly wrapped in dark green cloth. Both babies were quiet, very still and looking at me and my co-worker. I was taken aback by their odd eyes – both babies had large pupils that were black. There were no irises and neither of the babies blinked. The police officer was soon back with us – he commented on the babies’ eyes as well. In fact, he was totally freaked out – so much so that he looked scared.
The store manager soon arrived as well as a senior police officer. We all stood around the bed looking at these strange babies who laid there quietly watching us. The store manager pulled my co-worker and I to the side and told us to go ahead and leave. He was not opening the store until he found out what was going on. We quickly headed toward the back door and left.
I wasn’t scheduled to work until a couple days later but I had talked to a few co-workers who said that the atmosphere in the store was very strange. They had been receiving weird telephone calls and that the security system alarm would trip on several times during the day.
I got to work a little early for my next scheduled shift. When I arrived the store manager was sitting in the office so I asked him what had happened after we had left. He said that 2 young women, who said they were from the municipal court, eventually showed up and took the babies. The senior police officer told him later that he had no idea who the women were but that he was told by his superior not to impede. He thought they were probably from McConnell AFB in Wichita. He also said that the babies were very quiet and seemed relaxed the entire period that they were there.
I stopped working there not long after. Things were just never the same and it got tougher each day – especially when odd-looking people would come into the store and just walk around. I didn’t feel comfortable being there.
I read an article not long ago about black-eyed kids and the theories on their existence. Have you heard of similar incidents? I’d appreciate your feedback. SH

Op Hawaï is een lavaveld aangewezen als landingsplatform en toevluchtsoord voor UFO’s en bezoekers uit de ruimte. De landingsplaats in het district Puna op het Grote Eiland is de tweede plek die officieel wordt gebruikt voor het uitnodigen van buitenaardse bezoekers.
Het eerste platform werd in 1967 door toenmalig minister van Defensie Paul Hellyer geopend in de stad St. Paul in de Canadese provincie Alberta. In 2006 gaf Hellyer een lezing op Hawaï, waarin hij zich uitsprak voor vreedzame relaties met buitenaardse bezoekers. “Het platform kan leiden tot de nodige controverse,” zei coördinator Garry Hoffeld (foto). “We zijn niet gek, we zijn ruimdenkend.”
Afgelopen vrijdag is een ceremonie gehouden op het lavaveld, dat in 1983 is gevormd. Het platform werd gezegend, waarna een ahu werd gemaakt. Een ahu bestaat uit een steenstapel met kristallen die worden meegenomen door de bezoekers. Na de formaliteiten werd een plaquette geplaatst.
De bekende Hawaïaan Robert Keliihoomalu, beter bekend als Uncle Robert, is ook betrokken bij het project. “Uncle Robert noemt buitenaardsen onze ruimtebroeders en –zusters,” zei Hoffeld. Eind mei werd een verklaring ondertekend waarin staat dat de oorspronkelijke bevolking van Hawaï volgens een lokale legende uit het sterrenbeeld Na Huiui o Makali’i (Plejaden of Zeven Zusters) afkomstig is. De verklaring roept bezoekers uit de ruimte op te landen op Hawaï en diplomatieke betrekkingen aan te gaan met de overheid.
Het landingsplatform is gelegen op een stuk land dat is opgeëist door het soevereine Koninkrijk van Hawaï, dat bestaat uit een overheid onder leiding van een minister-president, gekozen vertegenwoordigers, een parlement en een grondwet.
Het Koninkrijk Hawaï is van mening dat Hawaï op illegale wijze is geannexeerd door de Amerikaanse overheid. Op 23 november 1993 ondertekende president Bill Clinton een resolutie waarin de federale regering excuses aanbood voor de illegale annexatie. Op 6 juli 2011 werd het zelfbeschikkingsrecht van de oorspronkelijke bewoners van Hawaï erkend door gouverneur Bill Abercrombie.

Philosophers and scientists, believers and atheists, have long pondered the question, “Are we alone in the universe?”
But theologian Robin Lovin knows what he would say to people wondering how to take the news of extraterrestrial life.
“This discovery is a reminder of what we should all have known all along,” said Mr. Lovin, director of research at the Center for Theological Inquiry in Princeton, New Jersey. “God is doing things in places that our minds have not been able to go.”
Mr. Lovin shared that message with an audience at the Library of Congress’ John W. Kluge Center during a panel discussion to consider the impact of alien, intelligent life on religion.
“I think it’s very important [that] religious communities proactively address these questions and show themselves concerned about these issues,” he said. “Because people are raising these questions, and I think [they] want to see them as moral and spiritual queries — that it isn’t just a question about biology, but a question about themselves.”
The universe is an enormous place, too vast for life not to exist somewhere else, said Steven Dick, chairman in astrobiology at the Library of Congress.
“I think the underlying principle is, the laws of physics and biology are universal,” Mr. Dick said. “What has happened here is likely to have happened out there. The idea of life out there is very much at the forefront. The question is what are the implications.”
Despite initial concerns that some people of faith would suffer a crisis of faith if life on another planet were discovered, studies have shown that’s probably not going to be the case, Mr. Lovin said.
In 2008, Ted Peters, distinguished research professor of Systematic Theology at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, surveyed 1,325 people of various religions, asking a series of questions relating their beliefs and a crisis of faith to a hypothetical announcement that extraterrestrial life had been discovered.
Citing that study, Mr. Peters said the message he received from respondents is that people who belong to traditional religions are “going to be just fine” if alien life comes along.
“I got comments such as ‘Earth is so small, God is so big, we would expect to have neighbors in space,’” Mr. Peters said. “My favorite quote was ‘I’d share a pew with an alien any day.’”
Albert Harrison, a social psychologist and professor emeritus at the University of California-Davis, said he also isn’t surprised by the resilience of religion.
“Religion has been around a long time,” he said. “Religion in most cases has proven adaptive. I think a very important thing to keep in mind, whereas some scientistsattack religion. It provides a tremendous source of support and solace for people, particularly when dealing with the unknown. I just don’t buy that idea that people are going to freak out and panic.”
That’s not to say all people who consider themselves religious would embrace the idea of a cosmic neighbor.
“Discovery is an extended process,” Mr. Dick said. “Each of those stages can last weeks, months, years, decades. There’s no doubt there will be some people who deny it.”
Humans making a close encounter of the third kind might still be far in the future, but the experts said the opportunity is much closer for humans to make their mark on other planets.
“We wouldn’t necessarily have to have communication [with another life form] before we have an impact,” Mr. Dick said. “I think we need to be proactive. We can’t wait until an event happens.”
Mr. Harrison and Mr. Peters said the policies of space exploration and planetary settlement are where theologians can make an impact.
“As we move on to other planets, what right do we have to alter the Martian landscape,” Mr. Harrison asked. “Is it OK if we go ahead and create a base, generate artificial atmosphere and really change the conditions there.” Mr. Peters said religious scholars could also look at the sanctity of life on other planets.
“Does life have intrinsic value,” Mr. Peters said. “If we find microbial life on Mars, do we have a moral obligation to protect the biosphere. We need to ask whether we should protect the life environment on and off Earth. There’s no consensus yet, but it’s going to be important.”
