UFOs are reported all over the world, and over the week, they made an appearance in the skies above Helena, Montana.
The individual who took the video doesn’t provide any personal information and will only say.. “they have seen similar light shows in the sky around Helena”.
The vast majority are lights at night, and few have video evidence.

UFO Over Edinburgh Castle, Scotland on 9th August 2014
News reported: The oddly-shaped light in the sky was captured by Catherine Stuart and her mother Susan, who were in the queue for Saturday’s late-night Tattoo, just before 10.30pm. Ms Stuart, who lives in London but is originally from South Africa, said she had no explanation for the strange apparition, which disappeared soon after they photographed it. The 31-year-old said she thought the “weird” object was a bird at first. She added: “It was very strange to see because when we looked at it again it didn’t look like a bird.
“It was hovering around and then it disappeared. It was a weird shape, like a square light. I have no idea what it was.”
New UFO documentary to focus on late Helena doctor
Dr. Jesse A. Marcel was just 11 years old when an unidentified flying object crashed near Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947.
His father, Jesse Sr., is said to be the first military officer to arrive at the site of what became the internationally famous Roswell incident. Jesse Sr. brought several items home from the crash site to show his wife and son, laying the otherworldly objects down on the kitchen table.
The official explanation for the items is a downed weather balloon, but those objects and the event surrounding them ended up following the Marcel family for decades. Jesse Jr. spoke publicly about that day with media and audiences across the world, and even wrote a book, “The Roswell Legacy.”
Jesse Jr., who served as an ear, nose and throat specialist in Helena and was appointed as the surgeon general of Montana, died in August 2013. Now a documentary is aiming to look at his life to tell the story from an angle it hasn’t een viewed from before.
The documentary, “Growing Up With Roswell,” will be written and directed by Jesse Jr.’s cousin, Leonard J. Marcel.
“This movie is really about how an incident can affect an entire family,” Leonard said.
Production for the film began about two weeks ago, and the first filming took place on Sunday at the Jesse A. Marcel Library outside Helena.
The team will stay in Helena for a few days to interview Jesse Jr.’s friends, coworkers and family before moving on to film in New Orleans, Seattle, Toronto, Roswell and other locations to put the documentary together.
Leonard said his last name has prompted questions from curious Roswell enthusiasts his whole life, but he didn’t meet Jesse Jr. until 2007. The following year Leonard came up with the idea of filming a documentary about his cousin, and captured eight hours of footage with Jesse Jr. and his mother speaking about Roswell.
The film kept getting postponed, until something snapped inside Leonard, and he knew he had to make it.
Leonard is joined by filmmakers S. Kramer Herzog from San Francisco and Dusty Wright from New York City in the effort to make the documentary.
UFO critics have downplayed the father and son’s accounts as coming from an outsider and a young boy who wouldn’t remember properly. Leonard refuted that, saying anyone who has had 11-year-old children would know they’re pretty smart and that Jesse Sr. wasn’t an outcast, but a highly informed member of the military intelligence community.
And according to Wright, everyone they’ve talked to so far has spoken highly of Jesse Jr.
“You can’t question a man’s character when everyone around him is telling you he’s a standup guy,” Wright said.
But people question him anyway, discounting the events off hand, Wright said. Wright met Leonard through the film industry in New York, and always thought the family legacy could make a great story. Stories like this one, he said, often become muddled by those who tell them, blurring the lines of fantasy and fact.
“Growing Up With Roswell,” Wright said, will investigate the real story from a personal angle, hopefully uncovering pieces of information never told before so that viewers can make up their own mind about Roswell.
“I think any time you get anyone to question anything, get anyone to open up, it’s a win as a filmmaker,” Wright said.
Leonard grew up away from Jesse Jr. and the Roswell media attention. But now that he’s tackling the film and discussing it with more family members, Leonard is becoming part of the story.
“I’m getting more into it as we go,” Leonard said.
The project will probably take about 18 months, but the team hopes to have a rough cut of “Growing Up With Roswell” made for the annual UFO Festival in Roswell next July. Leonard said they will be back in Helena to hold a screening of the film upon completion.
A recent high level meeting at the headquarters of Chile's Civil Aviation Department will likely be the envy of those Americans desiring open government participation in UFO investigations, rather than the familiar blanket dismissal.
The question of whether UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) pose any danger to civilian and military air operations was up for discussion. An official video about the event (the first 4 minutes), posted on Friday, is telling. You don't need to understand a word of Spanish to take note of the serious expressions on the faces of the participants.
Chile's agency investigating UFOs/UAP, known as the CEFAA (Committee for the Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena) is located within the Ministerial Department of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC), the equivalent of our FAA, under the jurisdiction of the Chilean air force.
Gen. Ricardo Bermúdez, director of the CEFAA, invited nineteen highly qualified experts from a range of specialties to the July 31st meeting, to explore the safety question and attempt to achieve a conclusion. The resulting dialogue lasted three hours.
The new DGAC director, air force Gen. Rolando Mercado, former director of operations and strategic planning of the Joint Chiefs, welcomed the participants and attended the early part of the discussion. "I wish to thank all the members of this committee for their serious, scientific approach in the investigation of this phenomenon," he said afterward, "which has rightly earned prestige for the CEFAA, not only in Chile, but also in foreign countries."
Scientists in attendance included two well known astronomers (each with an asteroid named after him), a nuclear chemist from the Nuclear Energy Commission, a doctor of aerospace medicine who is also a UN representative, a physicist, an army psychologist and an air force psychologist.
Among the DGAC specialists were the director of the Meteorological Observatory, the chief of Radar Operations Metropolitan Center, the head of Accident Investigations, DGAC chief of operations, the director of Airport Security Operations, and an aerospace engineer.
Representatives from different branches of the armed forces and the police corps were also present. All of them, including a navy commander who is in charge of flight security for navy aviation, are also pilots, or have been in the past. Along with Mercado, Bermúdez was once a combat pilot.
The panel members were familiar with the subject matter due to their various affiliations with the CEFAA as advisors, committee members, and experts called upon to assist with case investigations.
Each participant had already accepted the fact that UFOs are a real phenomenon which needs to investigated, without question. This, alone, is unusual, as we Americans see it.
"For Chileans, this is completely normal and we don't consider it news at all," says Jose Lay, international affairs director for the CEFAA.
Here are excerpts from some of the more interesting comments which helped influence the final conclusion:
DGAC chief of operations: "If, as many witnesses have declared, the UAP demonstrates 'intelligent behavior,' and if we admit this fact, then we must look for 'the intention behind' that intelligence, whatever it may be -- a form of energy, perhaps -- it doesn't matter. Intelligence is what matters. If this is so, we must ask: has it shown hostility or carried out openly threatening maneuvers? Has it actually attacked our aircraft? To date, this doesn't seem to be the case. We cannot possibly call something a threat to something or someone if they have not shown any open intention to do harm. And even less, we do not even know their exact nature!"
Navy captain Roberto Borè, Naval Aviation: "Aside from any natural distractions to the flight crews, the risks so far have been null. We cannot call UAP a risk to our operations, not even a low risk. An interaction, either good or bad, between a human being and UAP so far is nonexistent in our skies [in Chile], as far as I know."
Radar control chief Mauricio Blanco: "In aeronautics, we have to measure risk scientifically and we have all the tools for that. We have to establish a 'risk matrix,' considering possibility and probability. The risk level [for UAP] has not been analyzed. It can be measured, and given the probabilities, this level is very low."
Blanco is one of the highest officials actually on the front lines when UFO sightings are reported to ground control radar or picked up by radar, anywhere in the country. In 2012, I interviewed him at the radar center in Santiago, and he showed me the log book where UFO sightings are initially recorded before being sent to the CEFAA. Reports are written by hand to assure they are not tampered with or affected by computer transfer, and to provide a clear record of who actually wrote the entry. As an American, I was astonished by Blanco's matter-of-fact attitude about UFOs. It's hard to get used to the fact that UFOs are fully accepted as part of life in Chile.
"DGAC expert on accident investigations: "Until now, in practice, we have seen only the effects. And those we have captured through photographs, videos, official reports, testimonies, etc. And thus, we are able to say the phenomenon exists. But its origin, we have not defined. And without this definition, we cannot establish a strategy to counteract it. ... I have spoken with pilots who have had sightings. So far, none has experienced undue concern, just plain curiosity."
The nuclear chemist: "If our civilian and military pilots are well informed about UAP, the risk due to distraction will come down to a minimum because the surprise factor will not be there. Judging by global statistics, the number of aircraft that have allegedly been involved in an accident with UAP would represent a tiny fraction of the accidents caused by birds."
The air force psychologist advised more education for pilots -- in order to raise awareness rather than alert them to any latent danger. Others recommended that instructions on pilot reporting be included within aviation training courses. The scientists suggested further multi-disciplined studies "to bring us as close to the real nature [of UAP] as possible," stated by astronomer Luis Barrera.
The conclusion was clear. "Based on the evaluation at the meeting, the committee concluded that UAP do not present a threat or a danger to air operations, either civilian or military," Bermúdez said. "Although there have been a small number of accidents attributed to UAP around the world, none have withstood an objective examination that presented unmistakable proof that UAP were the cause."
The CEFAA staff have their eyes opened for any effects on air operations that might arise. But this is not the reason they do the work. They want to learn the nature and origin of the phenomenon simply because it is a reality that science has not yet explained. "Around 85 percent of our public believe in the phenomenon, so we have an obligation to investigate and find out what it is," says Lay. "This should be reason enough for governments to try and determine the origin. There is no need to fear panic from the public."
The CEFAA works with its many counterparts in South America, and has relationships with about a dozen other countries around the world. Planning is underway for Bermúdez to meet with officials from the French UFO agency, at the Paris headquarters of the National Space Studies Center (CNES), the equivalent to our NASA. A formal meeting between representatives of the CEFAA and the French GEIPAN, the two leading UAP agencies in the world, has never occurred, and this marks an historic step toward unifying the effort internationally.
Momentum is building for more governments to address the UFO problem, and many eyes are on the United States. Through the smallest change in position, our government has the potential to play a crucial role in lifting the stigma against research, thereby paving the way to a possible resolution to the problem.
The Chilean meeting serves as an example of one country's success in working with the UFO issue at high levels and its ability to integrate a serious approach throughout the country.
A Quebec, Canada, witness at Port-Cartier reported watching an enormous, triangle-shaped UFO similar to a recently reported Burlington, Ontario, case, according to testimony in Case 58850 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was outside in a front yard talking on the telephone with a friend at 8:30 p.m. on July 27, 2014, when lights in the sky were first thought to be a plane moving overhead.
“I then caught sight of multiple plane lights and thought it was strange that they were so close to each other and so many,” the witness stated. “That was when I realized they were all connected to each other and that it was one big craft that was blocking out all the stars when it passed. It looked like an impossibly enormous triangle.”

The witness described the object.
“It was blacker than black. It made no sound.”
The witness alerted the friend on the telephone and called to her husband to come outside.
“When I returned to the driveway I continued to watch it pass and go towards Sept-Îles silently until I could no longer see the lights. My husband came out too late to see it.”
The witness reports an unusual amount of helicopter traffic followed the sighting.
“For the next two days following that night, there was an unusual amount of helicopters flying in circles over our block. It’s normal to see one or two in a day but there was more than five and they came all together and stayed around our block for over 30 minutes.”

A documentary film about the 1947 Roswell UFO incident is taking a unique approach to event, focusing on the affect the incident had on one family.
Growing Up With Roswell will focus on Jesse Marcel, Jr., the son of the U.S. Air Force intelligence officer who reportedly first examined the crash debris found by ranch manager Mac Brazel near Roswell, New Mexico in July of 1947. Marcel, Sr. told Marcel, Jr. about the event and showed he and his mother some of the wreckage that was recovered. Marcel, Jr. was eleven at the time.

Marcel, Jr. spent much of his life in the medical field and in the military serving as a flight surgeon. Sadly, he passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from a heart attack. He always maintained his belief that the material his father showed him was extraterrestrial.
Growing Up With Roswell “will investigate the real story from a personal angle, hopefully uncovering pieces of information never told before so that viewers can make up their own mind about Roswell.” The film is being written and directed by Marcel, Jr.’s cousin, Leonard J. Marcel. As he explained to the Helena Daily Record, “This movie is really about how an incident can affect an entire family.”

According to the paper, “Leonard said his last name has prompted questions from curious Roswell enthusiasts his whole life, but he didn’t meet Jesse Jr. until 2007. The following year Leonard came up with the idea of filming a documentary about his cousin.”
The documentary reportedly began production in early August, and the first day of filming took place at the Jesse A. Marcel Library outside Helena, Montana.
The project is estimated to take approximately eighteen months to complete. But the producers hope to have a rough cut of the film ready for the annual Roswell UFO Festival in July 2015.
My husband and I were sitting in the backyard so that I could smoke an after-brunch cigarette and facing the SE. Dragonflies and butterflies, among other bugs and birds, were flying around. I love watching them all so I try to catch every movement. In front of me but at a good long distance away, a movement caught my eye and I watched it zip from my right to left a short distance and disappear all within three seconds. As it faded, there were some leaves and limbs in the path of my view from a certain point and the object was never seen through it or from the other side of it. The edges were somewhat blurry like a heat signature, but the color and details were clearer than I would have expected. It was about two inches long by 1/4 inch wide; yellow like a bee with black detail or windows, maybe both, on the top half. I only saw it for 3 seconds and still can’t believe how much I saw since I can’t even see the details on a dragonfly flying by but I can see its shape and wings. After it registered in my head that it was not a normal object, I told my husband what I saw and we discussed it. I didn’t want to report it, but then decided if there was a similar report that I would report it. Doing a search in the data base for a cigar, gold to copper, the first person revealed seems to have seen a similar object just a couple of weeks ago so here I am.
Tourists in line to watch the famous annual Edinburgh Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle spotted a strange glowing object in the skies. It hovered for awhile before disappearing.

Catherine Stuart and her mother were in line on Saturday night at about 10:30 pm when they spotted the object. She told the Edinburgh Evening News that at first they thought it was a bird, but she says, “It was very strange to see because when we looked at it again it didn’t look like a bird.”
Stuart continued, “It was hovering around and then it disappeared. It was a weird shape, like a square light. I have no idea what it was.”
he says the light disappeared soon after she took a picture of it.

The Edinburgh Evening News goes on to say that the most likely explanation for the object was the International Space Station (ISS), which has been doing passes over London. However, checking the satellite tracking site Heavens-Above, it does list the ISS passing over London, but at 9:34 pm and then again at 11:10 pm. Both times very low to the horizon.
The Edinburgh Evening News also suggests it could have been the ATV-5 cargo ship. However, it is in close proximity to the ISS and was seen at the same times as the ISS over London.
While the ISS is spectacular to view, and is often misidentified as a UFO, it moves at a steady pace across the sky. Stuart described something that hovered and then disappeared. She also said she looked away and then looked back later and it was still there.
There are also other possible prosaic answers for the lights, such as a remote controlled drone with LEDs. Still, from looking at the picture, I can see how Stuart would have been taken aback by the strange light over the majestic Edinburgh Castle.
British Scientist Claims Ebola Virus Came From Space
As the deadly Ebola virus spreads across other countries, strange theories how the virus came into being keeps buzzing.
The latest theory from a British engineer is that the virus is alien, and did not originate on Earth.
Ashley Dale, who is pursuing an engineering Phd in Bristol University, claimed that there is a possibility that the deadly bug landed on Earth from space, the Daily Star UK has reported.
“There is always a chance the Ebola virus could have come from outside this planet, at some point during the evolutionary process, ” Dale told the newspaper.
“We have meteorites from Mars landing on our planet every year, and we know bacteria can survive the journey. There is every chance Ebola arrived on this planet from somewhere in space,” he added.
“Virus particles can also make it through space undamaged, so there is definitely a possibility something could have arrived back in the evolution of the planet that we are seeing now.”
Dale told the newspaper that there is every possibility that the virus survived the planet’s evolution, which is why it’s making its presence feel now.
According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report, the Ebola epidemic has already claimed nearly 1,000 lives in Africa while the tropical disease continues to spread Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
Nigeria and Benin governments have also confirmed there are cases of Ebola in those countries.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are falling victim to a rumour which says that Ebola can be cured by bathing in “hot water and salt”.
Around 20 Nigerians have also been hospitalised from eating salt and bitter kola to prevent infection. Despite the Nigerian government issuing warnings that the treatment isn’t effective, the rumor is being spread by text message and social media. – IBTimes
On a chilly Saturday night in November 1974, three teenage boys lit up a Carbondale, PA silt pond and sparked a UFO legend that still glows 40 years later.
The boys, including Robert Gillette Jr., reported to police on Nov. 9 they saw “a red, whirring ball fly over Salem Mountain and into the mine pond.”
What would become known as the “Carbondale UFO” drew police officers, military, UFO enthusiasts and curious spectators from across the country. The glow lasted nine hours. After two days, a diver emerged from the murky waters with nothing but an old railroad lantern in hand.
Twenty-five years later, Gillette admitted throwing the battery-powered lantern into the pond to scare his sister, but the legend lives on.
The city plans to mark the upcoming 40th anniversary of the “close encounter” during the Pioneer Nights – Ethnic Heritage Festival with the Carbon D. Alien Regatta on Saturday.
Alex Kelly, co-owner of Icon Technologies, grew up down the road from the silt pond. He doesn’t remember any UFOs or little green men but he does recall the “chaos the next day.”
“There were cars everywhere, we couldn’t get out of our driveway,” he said.
A Scranton Times reporter described seeing licenses plates from 17 states and Canada at the pond. A story published on Nov. 12, 1974, reports that crowds showed up from New York and Connecticut. Every regional newspaper, radio and television station was live from the scene including a three-man news crew from Philadelphia. UFO specialists from New York, New Jersey and Northwestern University in Illinois investigated. A lengthy report by Matthew J. Graeber from the UFO Research Investigation Center in Philadelphia is still on file today at the Carbondale Historical Society.
Police manning the overwhelmed phone lines reported calls from as far away as England. People of all backgrounds and occupations surrounded the pond behind Russell Park, making the light in the water the lesser of then-police chief Francis Dottle’s worries. He was more concerned about the masses on the shore.
Kelly said believers and non-believers of the legend are separated into a few groups. Some believe the glow was caused by a lantern thrown into the pond. Others insist a craft from outer space landed in the small pond and the government covered it up.
One popular theory is that the illumination came from a fallen spy satellite, maybe from Russia, maybe from the United States, he said.
Jim Racht, also a co-owner of Icon Technologies, said, “People either roll their eyes or say, ‘Yeah, they took something out of there.’”
Involved with the Carbondale Historical Society and the Route 6 Task Force, Kelly and Racht began researching the event after an interview for WVIA’s “My Town” documentary about the city. Kelly said when Michele Bannon, city clerk, suggested including the UFO landing in the town’s history, the two men raised their hands and got to work. One question they asked themselves was if there was a UFO, who drove the craft?
Shortly after the documentary premiered in 2012 the two men started the website, carbondalien.com. The site features old and new photos of Carbondale doctored to include the life-sized green extraterrestrial plastic figure, which they took to the WVIA documentary premiere. A comprehensive history of the lore is also on the site.
In Racht’s 2010 book about the history of Carbondale, he dubs the incident the “Birth of a Suburban Legend.”
Sitting in their office next to a nearly five-foot-tall green extraterrestrial-looking figure wearing a white T-shirt, Kelly and Racht said one thing that most Carbondale residents agree that a flat bed truck hauled something covered by a blue tarp away from the scene all those years ago.
What it concealed remains a mystery. – CitizensVoice
It was two days right after hurricane Wilma in October 2005 in North Miami Beach, Florida, we had a black out for about three weeks.
I’m sitting outside with a friend looking at the stars and we saw a manta ray shaped object, looked like it was trying to camouflage in the sky. All of the sudden starts moving and what it looked like a star had started to move and realized it was a light in the center front of this object, kind of a pale orange color flickering.
It was moving west to east and disappeared behind the buildings next door. The “wings” rippled like a real manta ray would. Half an hour later we saw big white throbbing lights right in front of us, we got scared and ran inside.
It was definitely not from this planet! I keep doing research since, I would never forget what we saw! Just wanted to share, thanks.
Wederopstanding: nieuwe film over Bosnische piramides
Wederopstanding: nieuwe film over Bosnische piramides
Chris Nahon is vooral bekend geworden door zijn films Kiss of the Dragon, Empire of the Wolves en Blood: The Last Vampire.

* The scientific imaging system OSIRIS was built by a consortium led by the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (Germany) in collaboration with CISAS, University of Padova (Italy), the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille (France), the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucia, CSIC (Spain), the Scientific Support Office of the European Space Agency (The Netherlands), the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (Spain), the Universidad Politéchnica de Madrid (Spain), the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Uppsala University (Sweden), and the Institute of Computer and Network Engineering of the TU Braunschweig (Germany). OSIRIS was financially supported by the national funding agencies of Germany (DLR), France (CNES), Italy (ASI), Spain (MEC), and Sweden (SNSB) and the ESA Technical Directorate.

UFO sighting photos from Raposa Serra do Sol, Venezuela on 12th July 2014
An amazingUFO sighting was reported near Raposa Serra do Sol, Venezuela in the daytime sky. The sighting was reported on 12th July 2014. In the photo you could see a gray object flying in the sky.
