Gigantische gloeilampen Melkweg blijven groot raadsel
Met de Fermi-telescoop zijn in 2010 reusachtige bellen van energierijke gammastraling ontdekt boven en onder het centrum van de Melkweg. Ze hebben afmetingen van zo’n 30.000 lichtjaar. De gammastraling wordt vermoedelijk geproduceerd door de wisselwerking van fotonen (lichtdeeltjes) met zeer energierijke elektronen.
Vanaf de aarde gezien bestrijken de beide bellen meer dan de helft van de hemel, al zijn ze op zichtbare golflengten niet waarneembaar. De gammastraling die ze uitzenden, is veel energierijker dan de ‘mist’ van gammastraling waarvan het hele Melkwegstelsel doordrenkt is.
Wetenschappers van de Stanford-universiteit hebben de afgelopen vier jaar gegevens van de Fermi-telescoop en andere experimenten geanalyseerd, in een poging het mysterie van de bellen, die tienduizenden lichtjaren boven en onder ons sterrenstelsel uittorenen, te ontrafelen. Hun onderzoek is gepubliceerd in The Astrophysical Journal.
Vlak na de ontdekking van de bellen werd gedacht dat ze waren gecreëerd door gigantische waaiers van materiaal die afkomstig waren uit een supermassief zwart gat in het centrum van ons sterrenstelsel. Ook werd gedacht dat ze gevormd konden zijn door gigantische sterren die tegelijkertijd als supernova explodeerden.
“Er zijn verschillende modellen die ze verklaren, maar geen van de modellen is perfect,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Dmitri Malisjev. “De bellen zijn nogal mysterieus.”
De reusachtige bellen zijn duidelijk te onderscheiden. Hun omvang en scherpe begrenzing zijn een raadsel. Het is net alsof in het centrum van de Melkweg twee 30.000 lichtjaar grote gloeilampen zijn gedraaid.
De onderzoekers zeggen dat meer data nodig zijn om te kunnen bepalen waar de bellen precies vandaan komen. Ze willen graag bij het galactische centrum gaan inzoomen op de gloeilampen. De Fermi-telescoop blijft gegevens verzamelen, maar voor nu zijn er meer vragen dan antwoorden.

Brace yourselves for inanity.
Someone has found a five-mile-wide black disc hovering over the ocean in a NASA photograph.
Our friends at UFO Sightings Daily, a blog somehow able to deliver 'MIND BLOWING!' content on the greatest conspiracies in human history once every 24 hours, published news of the find on Thursday.
The disc was discovered in a picture taken November 2013, the original (much darker) version of which is still available on NASA's website.
The website says that while the UFO appears to be above the ocean, it's actually hiding underneath it - though not very well, clearly.

"This shows a massive stealth black disk over the ocean. The dimensions are almost perfect. Streetcap1 of Youtube found this one and I have to say its beyond words. This UFO looks to be more than 5-7 miles across. Since it is over the ocean area, the only place that it could hide without being noticed is below the ocean."
They also published the video analysis of the image, which we've embedded above.
Needless to say there are numerous other possibilities here, including camera glitches, gaps missed by the process of stitching together smaller images to make a large enough one to publish, and interference.
Either way there is no evidence of five-mile-wide stuff hiding under the ocean. Unless you include Atlantis. Which is also not true.

Here's something......... This guy who lives across from me -Bruce- He's a retired burglary detective from OPD- I've known him now for almost 12 years- I tell you this to demonstrate that he is an intelligent, rational person- not someone given to imaginings or flights of fancy.
His skin reacts badly to the sun, and having worked at night for so many years, that's when he's usually awake. so he goes out late in the evenings and after dark to sit outside on a bench on the lawn- He called me night before last to ask me if I would join him there that night- there was something he wanted to show me. Since we frequently go back and forth to each others apts. for lunch, dinner or having a drink or smoke together while watching a movie- I knew he wasn't inviting me out there for what some may see as "obvious" reasons.
I hadn't been out there with him before, because as I've stated before- I don't particularly like going outside at night. Well anyway, he said that he had been noticing an interesting object in the sky off and on lately- last couple of months. At first he didn't think anything about it, since we live only ten minutes from Ontario's Intercontinental Airport- and see planes going back and forth day and night.
He began to notice a difference in this object, after a few times observing it in the night sky. He said that he began to notice a pattern to it's appearance- every couple of nights he would see it. Also the erratic flight pattern it seemed to exhibit. First of all, it was always way higher up than any of the planes flew- and consequently smaller in appearance- but emitting extremely bright oddly distributed light patterns.
As he began to regularly watch it, he noticed that it moved in stops and starts and a wide zigzagging pattern of flight- something he'd never seen a regular plane do. Once, when looking through his binoculars, he noticed a long thin stream of some sort of emission coming from it as it swept around the sky.
About 45 minutes or so after that , he started to feel a slight dizziness and tingling in his limbs and face- then a headache coming on- so he went back inside. Then he began to remember a couple of other times when this had occurred- he had felt fine- and would observe the UFO type object and later start to feel sick- nausea- headache so forth. At first he didn't connect it, when you get our age, you almost expect to have these afflictions come over you-from meds and all- you can usually find something to blame it on-
Having been in burglary investigation for over thirty years, Bruce is of a detail, clue oriented mind set- anything which seems strange or unusual, he'll automatically try to figure out why. he knows that this type of thing is of interest to me- so he wanted to see what I thought about it. Not having observed this object for a couple of nights, he assumed that true to schedule, it would show up that night. Well- it did! I saw it and noticed the strange flight pattern he had mentioned- it did seem to be extremely high up in the sky too- but the lights on it were so strong that they were still easily discernable even from that height.-they seemed to be in a triangular pattern too- not distributed in the same design as the planes..I suggested that it might be a good idea for us to go back inside before whatever it was dropping had time to reach us-- I wasn't anxious to experience the same symptoms he had experienced before.
We haven't definitely decided that we've seen a real UFO, but who knows...maybe we did- I have a feeling others have seen it too and wondered...I'm sure that it is being tracked by the airport radar- but they won't make anything public...Bruce says that they received hundreds of calls at the station from people all the time in Ontario about strange things they saw in the skies....especially around the airport, they were usually brushed off as another plane or something.... but that this object, upon close observation didn't resemble another airplane or weather balloon or anything like that, it probably is only noticeable at night, when the lights can be seen.
So...maybe I have seen a UFO.....and it does seem to be nearby...

After the airport closes, perhaps after 1:00 A. M., these things in the sky stand out more.
They're capable of looking like airplane or just fuselages( beyond belief, the occupants are crafty enough to often attach motor 'sounds' broadcasts coming from it, to make it SOUND like an airplane to the casual observer) but their stop and start erratic changes in direction and their sheer high elevation, give them away as odd craft within a minute or two of closer observation.
The danger in studying these things, of looking up, is a jeopardy most profound; they can "feel" your psychic attention, focused, even from that distance.
They can and do climb down the ladder of your awe and your broadcasted curiosity, down from those extreme heights, right into your laps.
That's how highly psychic they and their technology make them; they're out 'fishing' for awe energy from anyone studying the skies.
Psychic waves of intent which burn with curiosity, reach far out to them and are read.
Such people who notice these objects also usually have buried dim memory stirrings of being onboard craft forgotten by "suggestion"; he may well have implants within him.
It's NEVER an 'accident when one with awe and curiosity sees craft overhead.
It's choreographed.
His nausea is evidence of that long distance psychic connection; nausea is a sign that they are communicating ( raw suggestion and very high EMF transmissions do cause such nausea) with his unconscious mind, below awareness.
Nausea is a reaction to any sinister psychic intrusion, any presence of evil, demonic intent sensed by one's soul-unconscious.
Nausea often prevails within 'sensitives' who are paranormal investigators when they are studying a badly haunted house and come across demonic beings.
Aliens, from that height, make "exchanges" to our unconscious, readily communicate with that part of our minds we are dimly aware of and cannot easily access.
These are the very same critters who take you when you're in deep REM and 'cloak' all recall of abductions and surgical techniques with vivid scenic realistic-like "dreams".
Those vivid strange dreams aren't dreams at all, but are always 'screen memories' ; now you can see how successful and sneaky they are in what they do.
Most people marched around a craft will awaken none the wiser.

New interesting video footage of a UFO activity recorded in the sky above Sydney, Australia on 11th September 2014.
Witness said: hen I spotted the Chem trail this large object just come out from this cloud. The camera was used: Sony D C R-T R V.530. Digital camera with I R. 850 Optical filter fitted. Daylight capture! Super Night Shot position on.
An airplane passenger returning home from a vacation in Greece caught some strange lights on video while in the air on approach to Cardiff, Wales.
The sighting was reported by Wales Online. The video was apparently captured on the passenger’s cell phone late Tuesday night. The 29 year-old witness says his plane arrived in Cardiff at about 10 pm. He says the lights were very bright. In fact, he says, “it was the brightest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Although he observed the lights for a few minutes, he didn’t start recording until after watching the lights for a couple minutes. He then captured about a minute of video.

The witness told Wales Online: “We were flying from Greece to Cardiff. It was on Tuesday night and happened about 20 to 40 minutes before we arrived at 10pm.
“The lights could have been from a few miles away – it was pitch black outside, so it’s hard to say what it was.
“It was quite weird. It was very bright, it was the brightest thing I’ve ever seen. I just realised how bright it was and said to my girlfriend ‘look at that!’
“I was staring at it for a while before I picked up my phone to film it, but it was there for about three or four minutes.
“I thought it maybe could have been lanterns, but they didn’t go away, they kept flying til I couldn’t see them anymore.
“I really have no idea what it could have been – it was just really, really bright.
“UFO is a really broad term. That’s what it is, you know, an unidentified flying object.”
In the video, five out of focus lights can be seen in the distance. Then the witnesses zooms in and the lights come into focus. It is hard to tell if they are moving at all. Then a couple more lights appear, making about eight at once. Some of the lights continue to dim out as others appear.
Wales Online does not speculate or offer any suggestions as to the nature of the lights, but does ask, “What are they?”
The lights are probably not Chinese Lanterns, as lanterns are lit from the ground and stay lit until they get into the sky. Unlike these lights, which lit up in the sky.
However, another possibility is military flares. A couple of miles west of Cardiff Airport is the St. Athan Royal Air Force base. During night time operations flares can be dropped from planes that are working in a covert mode with their visible lights off. I have emailed the Royal Air Force to inquire if indeed they were running exercises at that time.

After no victims were found at the scene of a one-car rollover accident in Roswell this week, crews had to rush back hours later when the driver said he woke up surrounded by donkeys in a field.
Two men rolled their vehicle in the median of U.S. 70 west near mile marker 324 Friday at about 2 a.m., according to state police.
Multiple fire and police agencies went to the scene, but couldn’t find victims. Seven hours later, at about 9 a.m., 911 dispatchers got a call from a man who said he was lost and had been in a car accident that morning.
The man said he and the passenger were drinking the night before and didn’t remember what happened next, according to state police. He also said he woke up in a field next to some donkeys.
The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released, suffered injuries to a shoulder and his hands. Police said the passenger suffered back injuries.
The driver was issued multiple citations, but the charges haven’t been released. – KOAT

A driver and his passenger mysteriously vanished for several hours and had no memory of what happened.
The two men had been involved in a car accident in which their vehicle had rolled down an embankment, but when paramedics arrived on the scene to offer assistance they were perplexed to discover that the car was empty and that the men could not be found anywhere around the crash site.
The mystery only deepened when, seven hours later, the pair allegedly awoke in a field of donkeys with no idea of how they got there or where they’d been for the preceding time period.
The town of Roswell itself has long been associated with the unexplained ever since a mysterious object was believed to have crashed there in 1947, an event that has been at the center of conspiracy theories and speculation for the better part of 65 years.
It isn’t clear exactly what happened to the two men in this latest incident, but based on a police report suggesting that the men had been drinking heavily before the crash, it seems that alcohol, rather than extraterrestrial visitors, may have been the primary culprit. More at THP
Tulsa County Assessor Ken Yazel suggests public hangings in the town square to reduce crime.
Why stop with public hangings?
Yazel wasn’t clear where Tulsa’s town square is located, but I’ll assume it’s Bartlett Square on Main and Fifth streets.
With the water foundation, criminals could be waterboarded in front of a crowd.
How about going all William Wallace and have them hanged, drawn and quartered?
Stoning could be a possibility, but that requires crowd participation.
Burning at the stake is an oldie but goodie. The city could handle two problems at once, if officials use residential green waste as fuel to the fire.
This is such a perfectly medieval idea, it seems a waste to stop at lawbreakers.
To my knowledge, Tulsa has never had an old-fashioned witch hunt. This is not a metaphor. Real witches.
According to the 18th century B.C. Code of Hammurabi, a float test was effective in ferreting out those practicing black magic.
Since there is rarely water in the Arkansas River, the Tulsa townsfolk will have to rely on Big Splash.
The alleged witches could be shot down the big slide and then we’ll see if they float or not.
Clearly, Yazel’s idea is not only morbid but so out-of-touch that it’s silly.
Execution is still a legal punishment for certain types of murder in Oklahoma. It is a punishment taken seriously to the point of multiple mandated court appeals and oversight.
It’s so strictly governed that the state gained international notoriety when it failed the execution protocols a few months ago. The state is still trying to figure out how to move forward with legal executions.
Yazel’s comments, which he has not backed away from, came during a discussion at a public Budget Board county meeting about the scheduling of jury trials, jail overcrowding and crime rate.
By throwing out ideas like public hangings doesn’t add anything to the legitimate conversation.
In Scandinavian folklore, the Huldra is a seductive forest creature. Male hulders do appear, called Huldrekall. Like the female counterpart, the huldrkall is a shapeshifter who often lures girls under a fair countenance (Glamour). Both male and female hulder could be revealed as rather ugly when the glamour was lifted from them.

The Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916 were a series of shark attacks along the coast of New Jersey between July 1 and July 12, 1916, in which four people were killed and one injured. Since 1916, scholars have debated which shark species was responsible and the number of animals involved, with the great white shark and the bull shark most frequently being blamed. The attacks occurred during a deadly summer heat wave and polio epidemic in the northeastern United States that drove thousands of people to the seaside resorts of the Jersey Shore. Shark attacks on the Atlantic Coast of the United States outside the semitropical states of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas were rare, but scholars believe that the increased presence of sharks and humans in the water led to the attacks in 1916.

MUFON INVESTIGATORS WIFE SPOTS TRIANGLE OVER NEW JERSEY JUNE 4, 2009 ……… WOODSTOWN NEW JERSEY
Kelly Pfeifer sighted a large black triangle, with lights on the bottom at the topof the hill, on route 40 just outside of Woodstown, going towards Pole Tavern. She said the triangle hovered over a house on the other side of the road. It made no noise and Kelly watched it for 5 minutes before she decided to get out of there. The object was the size of a soft ball at arms length. This is a very busy road at night with truck traffic . The time was approximately 9 pm. She was looking out her rolled down window from the drivers side and had a clear view of the triangle. The underside of the triangle was lit with rectangle lights [ see illustration ]. The lights were bright but not blinding. She could not tell if the middle of the triangle was filled in due to the lights. The sky was crystal clear. Kelly was coming home from her hair dresser in Pennsville. Kelly told me about the incident the NEXT day. KEN’S NOTE: We have has some strange sightings in this part of South Jersey. Salem nuclear plant is only 16 miles from the Woodstown area.
3-25-12 WOODSTOWN NEW JERSEY The object was in the southern sky about 2 fists above the horizon and 250 degrees off the Woodstown VOR ( OOD ) . The altitude was around 8000 -10000 feet. The object was in a hoover mode for around 1 hr then slowly moved further south and climbed to a higher UKN altitude. On sunday around 10:30 pm the object appeared in the same spot and had the same flight pattern. While observing this object, a large aircraft was just below the object mentioned and had the ” usual ” aircraft NAV lights on it as it moved across the night sky. The object did not change its hoover mode during the other aircraft passing. The object would only flash the colors Light Blue, Light Green, and Red in its shape. On 3-25-12 the Millville Flight Services was called around 10:45 to report this matter. There was no further calls or reports from them as of the following day.

APRIL 17, 2009 ….. WOODSTOWN NEW JERSEY I saw a bright light and triangular shaped object. While going turkey hunting on 4/17 at about 5:25 am, while traveling west on rt. 40, I saw a bright light toward the Woodstown-Yorktown area. It was so low that I thought that I was looking at a plane in trouble so, I made a left off of rt. 40 to get a better look at it. At that time I noticed that the light wasn’t moving. (I expected the light to move to the left or right as it might if a plane was in trouble and looking for a place to land). But, the light just stayed in one spot. The light was about 1-1/2 miles away and it was a big-big bright light shining and I was getting closer and closer. I came to a stop sign and the light was shining into a field on my left and was connected to a large triangular object. But, as I drove under this object, it made no noise. Something told me to stop and scrutinize this thing but, something else told me to keep going and don’t mess with it. I just kept going while looking at it through my truck mirrors and noticed bright flashes. I thought that it might be strobes or electrical flashes. As I continued to look through my mirrors, it just disappeared. I didn’t realize it at the time but, it had been hovering over power lines.
A witness photographed a UFO in the sky above the English town of St Helens on the night of Monday, September 15.
The witness was walking his dog at approximately 7:00 p.m. when he noticed the unusual aerial object. He was able to photograph the UFO with his cellphone before the object vanished.

He sent his UFO photo to local newspaper the St Helens Reporter. He explains to the paper that the mysterious object seemed to hover in the same spot for almost a full minute before it suddenly shot to the right and disappeared.
The witness offers his opinion that the object he observed exhibited behavior not characteristic of known aircraft. He is also convinced that what he saw was not a Chinese lantern.
No one, except his dog, was with the witness when he saw the UFO.
The witness explains that, since he began sharing his sighting story, others have told him about similar events in the area. He opines, “Who knows, may be this town is a bit of a hotspot for UFO activity!”
(N.Morgan) An amazing event took place in Florida, on Sept. 15th. Witnesses say they saw and photographed a UFO floating among a rainbow, after a storm. TheFlorida witness at Fort Lauderdale driving southbound along I-95 reported photographing a fast-moving UFO about 10:30 a.m. on September 15, 2014, according to testimony in Case 59886 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.“I noticed a double rainbow in the sky,” the witness stated. “I got out my Smartphone to photograph the rainbow and took four pictures in succession.”
The witness included one photo with the MUFON report, which was filed on September 17, 2014. “On the fourth photograph I captured what appears to be a UFO flying really fast next to the rainbow. As quickly as it appeared, it was gone.” Florida MUFON is investigating. Fort Lauderdale is a city in Broward County, Florida, population 165,521. Florida has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. Florida had 26 UFO reports in August 2014 – the 5th highest reporting state – while California had 99 reports as the highest reporting state.

Tijdens de negentiende vlucht van spaceshuttle Columbia op 25 februari 1996 werd het zogeheten tether-experiment uitgevoerd, waarbij astronauten probeerden middels een lange kabel – een tether genaamd – elektriciteit op te wekken en de bovenste laag van de atmosfeer te bestuderen. De kabel knapte uiteindelijk waardoor het experiment mislukte.
Nadat de kabel was uitgerold, verschenen in beeld allerlei cirkelvormige objecten met een gat in het midden, die kriskras door elkaar bewogen. Eerder deze maand publiceerde Stargazer Nation een nieuwe video op basis van het oorspronkelijke beeldmateriaal, waarin te zien is hoe UFO’s de tether benaderen. Het filmpje geeft complottheoretici nieuwe munitie, zo meldt de Houston Chronicle.
Ten tijde van het incident legde astronaut Franklin Chang-Diaz uit dat de objecten bij de kabel ‘kleine stukken puin waren’ die meevlogen met de spaceshuttle. Dit ruimtepuin werd verlicht door de zon, aldus de astronaut.
Later merkte John Tindall van History Channel op dat de telelens van de camera een cirkelvormige spiegel had met een gat in het midden. Omdat de beelden als gevolg van het licht van de zon werden overbelicht, leek het alsof ze zich achter de kabel in plaats van ervoor bevonden, aldus Tindall.
In de archieven van NASA over de hoogtepunten van de missie wordt nergens melding gemaakt van UFO’s of vreemde waarnemingen op het moment dat de kabel knapte. Als zich buiten het raam van de spaceshuttle vreemde zaken hebben voorgedaan, zijn ze weggelaten uit het overzicht van de hoogtepunten.

In 1993, along with his niece, Anne Bartley, the stepdaughter of Winthrop Rockefeller and the then-president of the Rockefeller Family Fund, he established the UFO Disclosure Initiative to the Clinton White House. They asked for all UFO information held by the government, including from the CIA and the US Air Force, to be declassified and released to the public. The first and most important test case where declassification had to apply, according to Rockefeller, was the Roswell UFO incident. In September 1994, the Air Force categorically denied the incident was UFO-related. Rockefeller briefed Clinton on the results of his initiative in 1995. Clinton did produce an Executive Order in late 1994 to declassify numerous documents in the National Archives, but this did not specifically refer to UFO-related files.
There are still conspiracy theories going around about Rockefeller’s UFO “disclosure initiative” being suppressed by shadowy powers.
In addition to funding UFO research, Laurance Rockefeller also funded research into Crop Circles, and ESP.
SETI has no data, says Rockefeller’s argument, but UFOlogy does. Sagan’s reply was brief and pointed:

The Transformer
The Transformer is a flexible aircraft system that combines smaller jets for more efficient travel, before having them split apart to quickly adapt to any scenario.
The concept can be tailor-made to suit any scenario. For longer journeys, smaller sub-aircraft can be combined together during travel, to increase the range of the jet and save fuel through reducing ‘drag’.
Once they have reached their objective however, the craft can then split off and adapt to any given situation – whether that is going on the offensive if threatened, or performing functional tasks such as surveillance or the dropping of supplies.
ON-BOARD 3D PRINTING
Smaller unmanned aircraft – or UAVs – are created by super high-tech on-board 3D printers, via Additive Layer Manufacturing and robotic assembly technique
The 3D printers respond to data fed to them by a remote control room where a human commander decides what should be produced.
The UAVs are best suited to each scenario – be it a group of wide-winged aircraft for protracted or enduring surveillance – or rotary-winged UAVs to rescue single civilians or soldiers from dangerous situations. After use the UAVs could render themselves useless through dissolving circuit boards or they might safely land in a recoverable position if re-use was required.
This creates the ultimate adaptable taskforce, with a lead aircraft able to enter any unknown scenario and quickly manufacture an effective toolset for any task.
The Survivor
This technology allows jets to quickly heal themselves from damage sustained in flight
The technology is a lightweight adhesive fluid inside a pattern of carbon nanotubes from which the aircraft is constructed and is released when damaged to quickly ‘set’ mid-flight and heal any damage.
This advanced use of materials would create a highly survivable jet, capable of entering even the most dangerous of scenarios to complete vital missions.
DIRECTED ENERGY SYSTEMS
A futuristic attachment weapon for aircraft that is capable of firing a concentrated beam of energy at the speed of light
Currently in use on battlefields today are Directed Energy Systems which can be used to protect ground troops from incoming projectiles such as missiles or mortars via concentrated energy beams.
In future, these could be adapted into an attachment for aircraft, taking that capability to the air, allowing fast-moving jets to destroy targets mid-air with incredible accuracy, at a low cost per beam, and with a very deep magazine which holds beams.
