Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Het Engelse Cannock Chase werd in de jaren tachtig opgeschrikt door een meisje met pikzwarte ogen. De afgelopen 30 jaar bleef het stil rond het meisje, tot dit jaar. Op 13 september jongstleden wandelde een echtpaar in een bos in Cannock Chase. In het bos hoorden de twee het gegiechel van een klein meisje.
Uit het niets verscheen een klein kind. Het stel stopte gelijk met wandelen, nadat bleek dat de ogen van het meisje geen kleur hadden. Volgens de man was ook de lichaamshouding niet menselijk. Het hoofd was gekanteld naar één kant, waardoor het leek alsof ze was opgehangen. Ze staarde het echtpaar ongeveer vijf minuten aan, waarna ze tussen de bomen verdween.
Enkele maanden geleden werd in dezelfde plaats ook al een meisje met pikzwarte ogen gezien. Toen een vrouw met haar dochter in het bos liep hoorde ze gegil. Het meisje, dat niet ouder leek dan 10 jaar, dook uit het niets op. Ze bedekte haar ogen met haar handen. Toen ze haar handen omlaag deed, bleek dat haar ogen helemaal zwart waren. De vrouw deinsde achteruit. Het meisje verdween net zo snel als ze was gekomen.
Hoewel het er sterk op lijkt dat dit verhaal een hoax van de website 4-chan is, zijn er wereldwijd meerdere meldingen gedaan van een kind met zwarte ogen. Sommige mensen denken dat het buitenaardsen, vampieren of geesten zijn.

CHANCE-VOUGHT/LTV XC-142A
The tilt-wing XC-142A was an experimental aircraft designed to test the operational benefits of vertical/short takeoff and landing transports. Such an aircraft would permit rapid movement of troops and supplies into unprepared areas under all-weather conditions. An XC-142A first flew conventionally on Sept. 29, 1964, and on Jan. 11, 1965, it completed its first transitional flight by taking off vertically, changing to forward flight and finally landing vertically.
Tilting the wing and engines skyward permitted vertical takeoff like a helicopter and then the wing and engines were gradually tilted forward to provide the greater speed of a fixed-wing aircraft in forward flight. The engines were linked together so that a single engine could turn all four propellers and the tail rotor. In tests, the XC-142A was flown from airspeeds of 35 mph backwards to 400 mph forward. XC-142As were tested extensively by the Army, Navy, Air Force and NASA.
LOCKHEED D-21B
The Lockheed D-21 is an unmanned or “drone” aircraft designed to carry out high-speed, high-altitude strategic reconnaissance missions over hostile territory. It is a product of the Lockheed “Skunk Works” program that developed the A-12, YF-12A and SR-71 “Blackbird” manned aircraft in the 1960s.
Originally, the D-21 was designed to be launched from the back of a modified A-12 (redesignated M-12) carrier aircraft. The first flight of the D-21/M-12 combination took place on Dec. 22, 1964, but the first D-21 release from an M-12 did not occur until March 5, 1966. Two more launches were successful, but on July 30, 1966, a D-21 collided with the M-12 after release, destroying both aircraft and resulting in the death of one of the M-12′s crew members. No further “piggyback” launches were attempted.
A new launch system was developed using modified B-52H aircraft as carriers. The new D-21 configuration (designated D-21B) had dorsal mounting hooks for carriage under the B-52′s wing and a solid rocket booster for the initial acceleration required to start the ramjet engine. The first launch from a B-52 took place on Nov. 6, 1967, but the D-21 crashed. Several flights followed in 1968 with mixed success.
The first operational launch was on Nov. 9, 1969, but the D-21B was lost. Several successful operational missions were flown over the next two years, but the D-21 program was highly classified and details have not been released. The program was canceled in 1971, and the D-21s were placed in storage.
NORTHROP TACIT BLUE
The Tacit Blue (Whale) aircraft was built to test the advances in stealth technology. The USAF, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and the Northrop Corp. worked together from 1978 to 1985 to demonstrate that curved surfaces on an aircraft result in a low radar return signal from ground radar. With such a low radar return signal, Tacit Blue demonstrated that such an aircraft could operate close to the battlefield forward line without fear of being discovered by enemy radar. It could continuously monitor enemy forces behind the battlefield and provide targeting information to a ground command center.
The aircraft made its first flight in February 1982, and by the conclusion of the program in 1985, had flown 135 times. It had a digital fly-by-wire flight control system to help stabilize the aircraft. Tacit Blue had a single flush inlet on the top of the fuselage to provide air to its two engines.
BOEING X-40A
The unmanned Boeing X-40A was the first-phase flight test vehicle for the U.S. Air Force’s Space Maneuver Vehicle (SMV) program that began in the late 1990s. The SMV program aimed at developing a new generation of small, reusable, highly maneuverable space vehicles for deploying satellites, surveillance, and logistics missions.
Designed and built by the Boeing Company in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory, the X-40A was produced at Boeing’s Phantom Works facility at Seal Beach, California. This test aircraft was a 90 percent scale version of what would later be designated the X-37 space plane.
On Aug. 11, 1998, the X-40A made its first successful flight at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Lifted to an altitude of about 10,000 feet by a helicopter, the X-40A was released, and it made an unpowered flight to demonstrate high-speed guidance, navigation, and control capabilities.
Following that single flight, the USAF loaned the X-40 to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to test the shape, guidance, and other systems of the X-37. After captive-carry flights to practice release procedures and test equipment, the X-40A made its first flight for NASA on March 28, 2001. Carried aloft by a U.S. Army helicopter to 15,000 feet before being released, the X-40A flew itself, guided by onboard systems, to a gentle landing at Edwards AFB, California. The X-40A made a total of seven successful flights in support of the X-37 program.
SCALED COMPOSITES LONG-EZ “BOREALIS”
On Jan. 31, 2008, the modified Scaled Composites Long-EZ completed the first manned flight of an aircraft powered by a pulsed detonation engine (PDE). The flight was the result of five years of innovation and cooperative effort between the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Innovative Scientific Solutions Inc. (ISSI). The project used the popular Long-EZ designed by Burt Rutan as a platform.
Engines normally burn fuel and air at subsonic speeds to provide propulsion. PDEs detonate the fuel-air mixture into repeated, controlled explosions. The resulting supersonic shockwaves create thrust. In this engine, the thrust is expelled through four tubes out the back of the aircraft. Remarkably, the PDE in this aircraft was made partially from off-the-shelf automotive parts.
Pulsed detonation engines are still in their infancy, but this technology may become common as it matures. PDEs are much less complicated and promise to be less expensive to operate than jet engines. Moreover, they offer a fuel savings of between 5-20 percent over traditional turbojet engines.
It’s easy to see how these experimental aircraft helped develop technologies present in our current inventory. What future technology do you think will be in our next test aircraft?

Rising greenhouse emissions could tip off aliens that we are a rapidly expanding threat, warns a report. It may not rank as the most compelling reason to curb greenhouse gases, but reducing our emissions might just save humanity from a pre-emptive alien attack, scientists claim.
Watching from afar, extraterrestrial beings might view changes in Earth’s atmosphere as symptomatic of a civilisation growing out of control – and take drastic action to keep us from becoming a more serious threat, the researchers explain. This highly speculative scenario is one of several described by a Nasa-affiliated scientist and colleagues at Pennsylvania State University that, while considered unlikely, they say could play out were humans and alien life to make contact at some point in the future. Shawn Domagal-Goldman of Nasa’s Planetary Science Division and his colleagues compiled a list of plausible outcomes that could unfold in the aftermath of a close encounter, to help humanity “prepare for actual contact”. In their report, Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis, the researchers divide alien contacts into three broad categories: beneficial, neutral or harmful. Beneficial encounters ranged from the mere detection of extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI), for example through the interception of alien broadcasts, to contact with cooperative organisms that help us advance our knowledge and solve global problems such as hunger, poverty and disease. Another beneficial outcome the authors entertain sees humanity triumph over a more powerful alien aggressor, or even being saved by a second group of ETs. “In these scenarios, humanity benefits not only from the major moral victory of having defeated a daunting rival, but also from the opportunity to reverse-engineer ETI technology,” the authors write. Other kinds of close encounter may be less rewarding and leave much of human society feeling indifferent towards alien life. The extraterrestrials may be too different from us to communicate with usefully. They might invite humanity to join the “Galactic Club” only for the entry requirements to be too bureaucratic and tedious for humans to bother with. They could even become a nuisance, like the stranded, prawn-like creatures that are kept in a refugee camp in the 2009 South African movie, District 9, the report explains.
The most unappealing outcomes would arise if extraterrestrials caused harm to humanity, even if by accident. While aliens may arrive to eat, enslave or attack us, the report adds that people might also suffer from being physically crushed or by contracting diseases carried by the visitors. In especially unfortunate incidents, humanity could be wiped out when a more advanced civilisation accidentally unleashes an unfriendly artificial intelligence, or performs a catastrophic physics experiment that renders a portion of the galaxy uninhabitable.
To bolster humanity’s chances of survival, the researchers call for caution in sending signals into space, and in particular warn against broadcasting information about our biological make-up, which could be used to manufacture weapons that target humans. Instead, any contact with ETs should be limited to mathematical discourse “until we have a better idea of the type of ETI we are dealing with.” The authors warn that extraterrestrials may be wary of civilisations that expand very rapidly, as these may be prone to destroy other life as they grow, just as humans have pushed species to extinction on Earth. In the most extreme scenario, aliens might choose to destroy humanity to protect other civilisations. “A preemptive strike would be particularly likely in the early phases of our expansion because a civilisation may become increasingly difficult to destroy as it continues to expand. Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilisational expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of the Earth’s atmosphere, via greenhouse gas emissions,” the report states. “Green” aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet. “These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets,” the authors write. Even if we never make contact with extraterrestrials, the report argues that considering the potential scenarios may help to plot the future path of human civilisation, avoid collapse and achieve long-term survival.

Researchers have revealed over 50 previously undiscovered geoglyphs in northern Kazakhstan, determined to have been created by ancients.
Using many different investigative technologies over the past year, including archaeological excavations, ground-penetrating radar surveys, aerial photography and dating, archeologists from Kazakhstan’s Kostanay University, working in collaboration with Vilnius University in Lithuania, have presented their initial findings at the European Association of Archaeologists’ annual meeting in Istanbul, according to Live Science.
Discovered using Google Earth, the geoglyphs are designed in a variety of geometric shapes, including squares, rings, crosses and swastikas (the swastika is a design that was used in ancient times). Ranging from 90 to 400 meters (295 to 1,312 feet) in diameter, some of them are longer than a modern-day aircraft carrier. Researchers say that the geoglyphs are difficult to see on the ground, but can easily be seen from the sky.
Archaeologists Irina Shevnina and Andrew Logvin, of Kostanay University, in an email to Live Science, state “As of today, we can say only one thing — the geoglyphs were built by ancient people. By whom and for what purpose, remains a mystery.”

On October 7, 1996, a group of researchers were participating in an expedition MAI-Kosmopoisk trying to find the fragments of a celestial body that fell in the Kaluga region, in western Russia.
What they did not expect to discover was an out-of-place artifact that until this day defies explanation.
When Dmitry Kurkov who discovered the stone removed the dirt from it, he saw a bolt embedded in the rock.
The screw, which is clearly visible in the head and nut, has a length of about cm and a diameter of about three millimeters.
Scientists initially thought that the screw was in a farm machine, but further examination revealed that the screw was firmly fixed in the rock.
X-ray studies also ruled out the possibility that it is a fossil crinoidea trunk, because its size is larger than the specimens of marine animals.
Geologists estimate that the age of the rock is 300-320 million years.
Who left this baffling object on the Earth? Did this alien artifact belong to an unknown ancient civilization far more advanced than us?
About 300 million years ago the first land animals had yet to evolve into dinosaurs. There were no humans on our planet at that time. So how did it end up in a 300-million.year-old rock? Was the screw left by ancient aliens visiting Earth?
This finding has been studied intensively in various scientific institutions of Russia - from geologists, physicists, paleontologists, mineralogists and proved that the screw was in the sediment before it is mounted on a rock. All technicians who examined this artifact are convinced that the screw has been artificially constructed and not a product of a natural process.
It is not the first time millions of year old artifacts have been discovered. We have previously seen there are several other artifacts that strongly challenge the evolutionary scenario.
In in 1889, workers in southwest Idaho discovered the Nampa figurine, an artifact skillfully formed in clay that has baffled scientists for many years.
In 1885, an iron smelter working in the foundry of the Austrian Isador Braun of Vocklabruck, Austria, discovered a small, cube-shaped piece of iron embedded in a block of coal dating to the Tertiary period lasting from approximately 65.5 million to 2.6 million years ago.
In 1851, an object that resembled a silver-zinc vase inlaid with fine silver in the form of the vine was discovered embedded within 15 feet of solid sedimentary rock. The age of this vase, according to the rock in which it found supposedly millions of years old.
A very strange 300-million-year-old aluminum gear was discovered in Vladivostok, Russia. In fact, there are so many such baffling discoveries and there is no doubt they have all undermined the most fundamental doctrines of modern science.
The screw found in the Kaluga region, is yet another puzzling artifact of unknown origin that cannot be explained by modern science.
Obviously, someone was walking the Earth millions of years ago, but these beings were not humans.

Chhattisgarh state department of archaeology and culture plans to seek help from Nasa and Isro for research on 10,000-year-old rock paintings depicting aliens and UFOs in Charama region in Kanker district in tribal Bastar region.
According to archaeologist JR Bhagat, these paintings have depicted aliens like those shown in Hollywood and Bollywood flicks. Located about 130km from Raipur, the caves come under village Chandeli and Gotitola.
“The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject,” Bhagat told TOI.
There are several beliefs among locals in these villages. While few worship the paintings, others narrate stories they have heard from ancestors about “rohela people” — the small sized ones — who used to land from sky in a round shaped flying object and take away one or two persons of village who never returned.
“The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. Specially, the nose and mouth are missing. In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits. We can’t refute possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things,” the archaeologist said.
He added that it is a co-incidence that such ancient images appear to have sharp resemblance to UFOs shown in alien movies. “The fan-like antenna and three legs of vehicle’s stand clearly show a similarity to UFO type craft,” he said.
Other archaeologists would also be consulted for further verification.

An unidentified flying object, or UFO, was sighted near the International Space Station on Sept. 21.The Space Station is in decaying orbit about 261 miles or 420 kilometres above the Earth
The UFO was spotted in a video (below) that was posted on YouTube by user Streetcap1 who calls himself an "ufologist." It was captured by a live NASA space station camera. In the video, a circular glowing light can be seen floating over as the space station made its orbit around the Earth.
The New York Daily News reported that in the month of August, white UFOs like this have been spotted several times near the space station. This is the third time the mysterious craft spotted near the International Space Station was caught on camera.
Three videos by UFO watchers were taken while watching live footage of the International Space Station. On Aug. 4, Scott Waring of UFO Sightings Daily said he saw what appeared to be like a glowing disk. According to Huston Chronicle, on Aug. 4, several balls of white light were seen by UFO enthusiasts who were watching NASA's live webcam.
With regard to the video, Waring wrote wrote on his website that he had taken a screenshot of the UFO from the video. He then enlarged it, only to find that it had a long line down its middle and a dome on its top. The lower bottom, however, was rectangular, he described.
Half way through the video, as the object seems to get nearer and nearer, the camera goes blank. A blue screen appears making it all the more exciting for believers.
One YouTube user, whotookmymojo, commented that it was really "neat" that Waring was able to capture the blue screen as the object got closer. "You can almost imagine that the sensors are saying, 'oh-no not another'," the user added.
Some of them even commented that the video makes it clear that NASA is guilty of hiding the truth. While some users appreciated the video and Waring's keen eye, skeptics stated it was blurry.
Waring posted another video captured by Streetcap1. That video shows a white light glowing above the Earth's domed atmosphere on Aug. 7. The white light seemed to glow and disappear slowly and steadily.
The third video posted by Streetcap 1 shows a glowing cluster of white lights that appear like dots over the edge of the space station. The cluster of dots, four in number, fade away completely after a minute.
According to Waring, 20 percent of the UFOs that have been recorded around the world are white glowing balls of light. Many people who believe in these sightings are excited, while sceptics and non believers continue to speculate on whether the captured object is space junk floating near the space station.
While some like to believe and convince themselves there is life out there in space, others try to give logical explanations. The truth, however, is still not known.

I was on my second lap around the ball field when the entire ball field lite up like a Christmas tree. I tilted my head to see what it was. The object hovered over for about 30-45 seconds. It was about 40-50 feet above me. I noticed the object to be round in shape with one major beam shooting out of the bottom of the aircraft. The beam was so bright it blinded me for a couple of seconds.
After studying the aircraft my eyes were focused to the west. Looking out over the trees I noticed there were three more aircraft waiting for the one above me to leave. These three ships all had red lights on the tops of their aircrafts. Moments later when the object above decided to leave, the other three left with the other one. These four objects left with such an incredible speed. They were out of sight before I could even blink an eye. The only noise the object made when it left was a very slight hum. You could barely hear it. the other three made absolutely no noise at all. Incredible speeds, I had never witnessed anything like that before. There was nobody else in the ball field at that time. The spaceship made the area so bright I figured it would be on the news or even in the newspaper. No such luck. Nothing. Why was I the only one to see this object? Why was it hovering so close to me? Why wasn’t I abducted? I have thought about that night for the past 53 years. What did they want? I think quite often about the speed that they all traveled and how quiet they all were blew my mind. I wasn’t scared at all, just very curious.
53 years later the only thing that has changed is my curiosity. It’s about ten times greater now. It was truly an amazing evening. Thank you & God bless.
