Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

A new West Virginia witness came forward today with video from a 2013 UFO sighting in the same area as a recent case where multiple witnesses reported three triangle-shaped UFOs the size of football fields near Marmet, according to testimony in Case 60779 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
Today’s Case 60779 occurred at 7:15 p.m. on April 2, 2013, in Cross Lanes – about 24 miles northwest of Marmet. The witness uploaded one video with the MUFON report.

“I have seen this two times now in two years with video and pictures,” the witness stated. “My neighbor and son also saw this as I intended to use their telescope to get a closer look.”
The witness claims evidence related to the sighting was removed from his computer and he has had physical problems.
“I had nose bleeding for the next year and felt very uncomfortable in my home. Today it was posted as many have had disbelief. My son sent me pictures and news of a football field object seen in Mamet, West Virginia. I have seen this also in many areas of the globe – not just here and most look the same.”
Today’s historical case may be unrelated to Case 60631. The more recent case remains under investigation by West Virginia State Director Fred Saluga.
“I’m trying to make contact with the witnesses in that case,” Saluga said. “I have spoken to one family member so far and am arranging times to talk with the actual witnesses.”

Sexual Encounters of The Fourth Kind: Alien-Human Sex Studies
Eve Lorgen's classic book, "Alien Love Bite", offers a deeper analysis and understanding of alien mind control, of human sexual behaviors.
After abductions, aliens through implants and mind control, "turn up the volume" of the sexual energies of alien abductees, in a purported attempt to "study" human response/coping behaviors.
Under the seeming guise of 'research', these entities actively and puriently participate.

We seem mere mice for them to toy with as they create problems in our lives and then solve them to feast on our ethereal energies.
Post abduction aberrant sexual behavior of alien abductees is choreographed and micro managed.
Worse, aliens participate in these field experiments with humans..
At the very least, their unscientific, controlling behaviors are revealingly perverse, in such direct sexual participation, under the seeming guise of 'testing'.
In very many case studies of alien abductees, a key element of what is 'post alien abduction", also involves a 'sexual' phenomenon..
WHAT IF THIS IS ALL FICTION?
However, it may be exactly what it appears to be: actual sexual manipulation by an alien race.
Information voiced through the clients forms a consistent body of knowledge about the alien beings and their motivations for coming to our planet.
Dr William Baldwin echoes what I've separately stumbled upon.
The alien agenda behind the sequence of close encounters, leading to abductions, and then to possession, is similar to their planetary exploits; after exploration, comes conquest.

Mona and the ET Controllers
"Mona expressed dismay at her unusually high sexual appetite and her promiscuity. This condition had existed in her life since late adolescence. She had difficulty maintaining monogamous relationships and this caused her deep sadness and confusion. In session, she discovered an ET group experimenting with sexuality. The ET researchers would intensify her sexual desire, like turning up the volume on a TV set, then observe her behavior and her reactions to her own behavior.
We discovered a large network of DFEs [Dark Force Entities] of various levels controlling the ETs in this activity. This particular experimentation involved a broad segment of the human population, and Mona was just one of many people affected. The ET technicians divulged this information, and further revealed a sordid picture of the intrusion.
Some of the DFE-influenced ETs had become personally involved in human sexuality, purposely stimulating licentious and depraved sexual activities. Not only were they distorted in their scientific observation, they were participating in the experiments.
Mona was sickened by the discovery of this information. She had known something was very wrong in her life and suspected entity influence, but had not dreamed of this kind of extensive involvement, particularly the ETs. She was deeply relieved to finally get relief from this terribly intrusive and very personal violation.
Human beings are so terribly caught up in sexual issues from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood, even old age as senility sets in. The entire issue is compounded by the social issues regarding sex, marriage, monogamy, adultery, promiscuity, the religious taboos and imposed guilt, the very real problems of unwanted pregnancy and abortion, disease, human possessiveness and jealousy, and other issues. It is a fertile field for dark force entity influence.
These experiments on emotions and sexuality are ostensibly designed to study human feelings and behavior. The technician simply turns up the volume on some aspect of emotion or behavior and records what happens with the human subject. This behavior or emotional outburst causes anguish in the human. This is the desired result. The anguish is the underlying goal of the project.
The energy emanation of the anguish of human suffering is harvested by the DFEs.
It is used as energy, sustenance, food. In most cases we have found, and other therapists report the same situation, it seems the experiment is a cover for the activity of the DFEs.
This is the true purpose of the "research" conducted by the aliens.
In most cases of ET attachment where such a group is operating, the ship captain or the base commander may be evasive, deceitful, even defiant, and refuse to remove the intrusive devices and alien beings. They will usually divulge the information that there is a high dark being who controls their people.
A client will sometimes describe a sinister and menacing dark figure on the craft, clearly exerting powerful control, and always situated near the ship's captain.
The ET technician is usually unaware of the dark influence. The commander of the space craft is conscious of the dark presence in about half of such cases. The ruling council members on the home world are aware of the dark lords in charge at various levels. They acknowledge that they, or their predecessors in the council, struck an alliance with the dark forces long ago for the purpose of gaining personal and political power.
However, once that dark contact was established, the DFEs took power over the council. The DFEs assumed "ownership" of the alien civilization, and there was nothing that could be done about it.
The council members, usually from three to eleven in number (though once it was reported as a senate of about 1800 members), are grateful for the assistance in separating themselves and their citizens from the DFEs. With the assistance of many light beings, we facilitate the total removal of the dark force entities, from the lowliest DFE attached to the ET technicians, through the dark lords on the craft, to the high-level dark beings wielding power over the council members and the overseers or enforcers who lurk behind the scenes.
After the release of the DFEs from their civilization, the council gladly orders the removal of the implants, monitors, communication devices, various and assorted headbands and skullcaps, and the ET technicians. They order the return of all the craft orbiting this world and any other, and the space stations involved in this hideous project. A tremendous piece of work is completed in a very short time. The effect on consciousness cannot be measured.
Clients have discovered not only these attached ET technicians and their equipment, but also unattended probes and other devices in various parts of the anatomy and in the chakras, or energy centers of the body, both on themselves and other family members.
These probes are non-physical in nature, yet connected in a way which allows for the transmission of information to the ET scientist's location. The probe, or connector, may also allow the ET to remotely control some aspect of the physiology or mental/emotional functioning of the person.
In an altered state, a client can visualize the probe, often a black cord, leading to the ET laboratory. We direct the question to the alien researcher. This communication passes directly to the ETs along the attached connector, and the surprised ET will answer through the voice mechanism of the client.
This can be surprising and distressing to the client, but with our assurance that the control is only temporary, and that many people have overcome this intrusion, most clients continue with the dialogue."
UFO/alien horrid truths emerge from many such case histories that outline a single mindedness of controlling reptilian aliens, who prevail with impunity, in the sexual lives of alien abductees and
they literally feast on our ethereal energies.
Sexual behavior of alien abductees is choreographed and micromanaged; worse, aliens participate in these field experiments with humans.
The light of this article, of alien/human interaction is shone into darkest corners and can be echoed and documented in more detail, in Eve Lorgen's book, "Alien Love Bite", a required read for any researcher in this field.
I write about this phenomenon, as an abductee, to illuminate dark corners for others.
What possible "good" can come from alliances with them, by Intelligence and governments?
Alien technology, recovered from downed discs and other craft, has already inspired Skunkworks to give us the ability to recreate and reverse engineer:
lasers,
fiber optics,
cold fusion- anti gravity,
microwaves,
stealth technology,
nanotechnology,
microchips,
specialized surgical tools,
cloning-genetic engineering-
and most recently,'smart skins' of craft, which like chameleons, alter shape and color according to environments,
magical technologies studied, reverse engineered and imitated.
We have a lot to be thankful for because of Klaatu, ("The Day the Stood Still") even though he is the complete opposite of the charming, handsome gracious, elevated spirit in film and in book.
He, in reptilian form and in grey form instead sees us in much the same perfunctory way, that we see chickens.
Given these entities natures, as revealed in Baldwin's groundbreaking research, any governments who collaborate with such ETs are clearly busy setting up deckchairs, on the Titanic.
October 21, 2014- First, let me say that this will probably set off red flags in your head immediately, but I hope that you take the time to investigate these claims, because it is of my opinion that they can stand up to intense pressure. The math is written, and it works.
In abstract terms, Nassim has a theory and math to explain quantum gravity - however the implications from his research are entirely more important than the above claim.
Nassim calculates the rest mass of the proton using current models for the proton charge radius, and comes within .072% of the estimated rest mass - among other insanely accurate deductions using algebra alone (e.g. estimated particles in the universe, the strong force, the gravitational constant, among others). The equation is a simple generalized holographic principle equation.
Namely, though holographic principles - Nassim proves that all organized matter (be it a proton, a star, or a galaxy, etc) can be defined in terms of the Swarzschild condition - meaning they contain a black hole (or what Nassim calls black WHoles - due to the inwards/outwards flow of the torus structure he uses as the fundamental geometric flow of energy e.g. gravitation inwards, electromagnetism outwards).

Here is the paper on the above, co-written with Elizabeth Rauscher - with hundreds of peer reviewed papers, not to mention working for NASA.
The major ringer here - is that all of these systems singularities are one singularity. They are holographically represented in all singularities, but at the core - the singularity is one infinite energy, superfluid medium, that all matter is interacting with, all the time. (This is the only interpretation of a singularity that gives the word any meaning to begin with). This explains quantum entanglement, as there really is no space in between any quanta in the vacuum singularity.
The mass of such a singularity before it is distributed to all protons is the exact mass to yield strong force, and after it is distributed between protons/planck units in the proton yields the exact mass for gravity.
When we see stars, or any other medium with these singularities, we are viewing them outside of their event horizons, at a point of balance.

To get to more woo - the holographic approach he utilizes means that planck units tile on the surface of event horizons, in a flower of life geometric relationship. The flower of life is a 2d representation of the geometry of the vacuum. (overlapping planck spherical units)
I hope this pique's your interest enough to look passed the instant dismissal of many physicists of his theory - and that you will put the pressure on it - until it gives way or confirms his thoughts. If it is true (it took me months to take it all in) the implications are enormous (a connected universe, non-locality, ancient cultures having incredible knowledge, clean energy by utilizing the vacuum energy, etc).

Afgelopen zondag passeerde de komeet Siding Springs de planeet Mars op een zeer korte afstand.
In ruimtetermen gemeten zelfs rakelings op ruim 130.000 kilometer, eenderde van onze afstand tot de maan.
Op de volgende foto zie je de komeet een dag voor de ontmoeting met Mars, genomen door een telescoop in Australië. Hij is zichtbaar precies in het midden van de foto en Mars rechtsboven.
NASA had de nodige voorzorgen genomen door hun satellieten te parkeren op een plek waar de voortrazende komeet ze geen kwaad kon berokkenen. En dat schijnt goed gegaan te zijn want na de passage werken alle satellieten als normaal.
Zoals je in bovenstaand plaatje kunt zien gaat de komeet zelf langs de planeet, maar raakt de staart de planeet Mars wel degelijk.
Dit is dan ook niet geheel zonder gevolgen gebleven. Het heeft een aantal imposante explosies veroorzaakt in de atmosfeer van Mars, vergelijkbaar met een grote zonnevlam.
De opnamen zijn gemaakt door een Duitse astronoom, Dr. Fritz Helmut Hemmerich, met een telescoop op een hoogte van 1200 meter op het eiland Tenerife.
Wat en of er verdere gevolgen zijn voor Mars door deze ontmoeting met Siding Springs is op dit moment niet helemaal duidelijk.
Een indrukwekkend spektakel was het wel en we weten in ieder geval wat we op aarde kunnen verwachten als er ooit een komeet zo dicht bij ons in de buurt komt.
Het volgende verhaal is weer één van die vreemde toevalligheden die je soms tegenkomt.
Er wordt een UFO waargenomen op precies dezelfde plek waar 35 jaar daarvoor ook een UFO incident plaatsvond.
Het verhaal begint met één van onze lezers (dank!), we noemen hem even M.C., die op Google Streetview bij een klein dorpje in Amerika een UFO ontdekt.
Het betreft het heel kleine Amerikaanse plaatsje Oslo (Minnesota). Je rijdt daar oostelijk de stad uit op de 1 - 220 richting het volgende dorp Alvarado, je kijkt rechter kant de hemel in, dan zie je steeds dit rond ding in de lucht hangen. op elke foto. (ik weet niet waarom deze straat twee cijfers heeft, steeds wordt afwisselend aangeduid met 1 en dan weer 220 en dan weer 1)
Let ook op het oriëntatie richting pijltje beneden rechts van Streetview! Want als je nog tussen Alvarado bent is het Ufo zuidelijk, ben je kort voor Alvarado staat dat ding opeens “midden boven de straat”; dus (westelijk).
Wel wordt het dan zeer zwak en kleiner (afstand wordt groter). Volgens mij laat zich toch hierdoor uitsluiten dat het de maan is.
Uit de beschrijving van de lezer blijkt dat we dus te maken hebben met een bewegend object, waardoor inderdaad de maan kan worden uitgesloten.
Het lijkt er dan ook op dat Google via Streetview een onbekend vliegend object, een UFO dus, heeft vastgelegd. Nu is dat op zich al bijzonder, maar dezelfde lezer deed nog een bizarre ontdekking. Het blijkt dat het niet de eerste keer is dat er zich op die weg een incident met een UFO heeft voorgedaan.
Hij schrijft:
Dat er 35 jaar geleden op dezelfde plek iets gebeurd was: Dat vind ik nu heel bijzonder!! In deze streek is maar één straat ! moet je nagaan! Ik krijg nu kippenvel...heb weinig tot niets met Ufo's normaal gesproken.
Dus wat gebeurde er op die weg 35 jaar geleden?
Op 27 augustus 1979 reed Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson over een zijweg van de bovengenoemde weg 220. Het was middenin de nacht rond half twee toen hij opeens door zijn linkerraam een licht zag.
Het was te hoog om een licht op de weg te kunnen zijn en toch leek het wel wat op de koplamp van een auto. Vanaf de zijweg draaide hij de 220 op om te onderzoeken met voor licht hij te maken had.
Plots kwam dit licht met een enorme snelheid recht op hem af. Zo snel dat het eigenlijk van het ene op het andere moment bij hem was, terwijl het toch eerst enkele kilometers ver weg leek.
Johnson werd compleet verblind door het licht, hij hoorde nog het geluid van brekend glas en verloor toen het bewustzijn. Toen hij weer bijkwam zag hij dat de auto was gestopt en dat hij aan de overkant van de weg terecht was gekomen.
Hij voelde zich niet echt helder en was uiteraard geschrokken. Via de radio nam hij contact op met de basis en even later arriveerde een collega die vervolgens een ambulance belde.
Na onderzoek bleken de verwondingen van Johnson mee te vallen. Hij had last van een lichte shock en van wat men noemt lassers-blindheid. Dit betekende onder andere dat hij extra gevoelig was voor (fel) licht.
Er was schade aan de auto, maar vreemd genoeg maar aan één kant. Eén van de twee linkerkomplampen was stuk, er zat een kleine deuk in de motorkap links bij het raam, een barst in het raam zelf en de antenne op het dak van de auto was omgebogen.
Maar, wat vreemder was, was dat het klokje in de auto ineens 14 minuten achterliep, net als het polshorloge van Johnson zelf.
Alhoewel de auto later door diverse experts is onderzocht, heeft niemand een verklaring kunnen vinden voor hoe de schade was ontstaan. Net zomin als men kon uitleggen hoe de klokken plots 14 minuten achterliepen.
Val Johnson zelf heeft geen blijvende schade opgelopen als gevolg van deze gebeurtenis. Op de volgende foto zie je hem op de plek waar het incident voorviel.
Is de door onze lezer waargenomen UFO op Google dezelfde als die 35 jaar daarvoor Val Johnson de schrik om het lijf joeg?
Of is er in dat afgelegen gebied tussen Minnesota en North Dakota sprake van een buitenaardse basis?
Berust het allemaal op toeval? Wie het weet mag het zeggen.
De komende dagen bereikt de zwerm van de Orioniden zijn maximum. De zwerm zal waarschijnlijk goed te zien zijn. De Orioniden zijn ontstaan in de komeet Halley die elke 76 jaar in de buurt van de zon en de aarde komt. In 2061 keert de komeet terug.
Boven Nederland was afgelopen weekend een vuurbol te zien. De Werkgroep Meteoren zegt dat het een goed zichtbare heldere bol was. De werkgroep kreeg binnen een uur meer dan 20 meldingen van mensen die de vuurbol hebben waargenomen. Het was de vijfde vuurbol die dit jaar is gezien boven Nederland. Vuurbollen zijn meteoren die een stuk helderder zijn dan normaal. Ze worden meestal gezien tijdens een meteorenzwerm.
De zwerm van de Orioniden bereikt woensdag 22 oktober rond 09.00 uur zijn maximum. Onder ideale omstandigheden zijn er zo’n 23 meteoren per uur te verwachten. In totaal zijn er, door meteoren van andere zwermen, ongeveer 33 meteoren per uur zichtbaar.
Er is geen speciale apparatuur nodig om meteoren waar te kunnen nemen. Wanneer het helder is, volstaat het blote oog. Een ligstoel en voldoende kleding zorgen voor extra comfort.
De Orioniden vormen één van de rijkere meteorenzwermen aan onze hemel. In 1993 werd plotseling verhoogde activiteit van de Orioniden waargenomen. Dit duidt erop dat er lokale opeenhopingen zitten in de stroom van meteoroïden die rond de zon beweegt.
Meteoren worden in de volksmond ook wel vallende sterren genoemd. In werkelijkheid gaat het niet om sterren die vallen, maar om minuscule stukjes steen en gruis die onder hoge snelheden de aardatmosfeer binnenkomen en op ongeveer 100 kilometer hoogte verdampen.

Australische wetenschappers zijn erin geslaagd om een deeltje van 0,2 millimeter zo’n 20 centimeter te verplaatsen met een laser. De straal is nog lang niet zo sterk als in de films, maar de 20 centimeter die werd overbrugd is 100 keer zo ver als voorgaande experimenten, aldus Wieslaw Krolikowski van de Australian National University. De wetenschappers spreken van een doorbraak.
“Een relatief grootschalige laserstraal als deze is de heilige graal voor laseronderzoekers,” zei hij volgens de Britse krant The Guardian. Met deze technologie kan fijnstof uit de lucht worden gehaald en kunnen zeer kleine en gevaarlijke deeltjes worden gevangen voor experimenten.

Onderzoeker Vladlen Shvedov denkt dat de techniek ook op grotere schaal werkt. “Omdat lasers hun straalkwaliteit over lange afstanden behouden zou dit ook over een afstand van enkele meters kunnen werken. Ons laboratorium was eenvoudigweg niet groot genoeg om dat te laten zien.”
In een artikel in Nature gaat Krolikowski samen met de rest van zijn team dieper in op het onderzoek. In het paper claimt het team voor het eerst de theoretische onderzoeken naar trekstralen voor lange afstanden te staven met laboratoriumonderzoek.
De laserstraal van de onderzoekers had de vorm van een donut, met een donkere kern waarin zich geen licht bevindt. Doordat de laser energie afgeeft op het oppervlak van het deeltje worden er ‘hotspots’ gecreëerd op dat oppervlak. Als luchtdeeltjes daarmee in botsing komen, schieten ze weg van het object, dat daardoor zelf beweegt in de tegenovergestelde richting.
Seattle attorney Andrew Basiago has been publicly making the claim since 2004 that between the ages of seven and twelve years old he participated in a secret U.S. government program that worked on teleportation and time travel under the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency called Project Pegasus, a precursor to the Montauk Project and the Philadelphia Experiment.
He claims to have traveled to Ford’s Theatre the night of President Lincoln’s assassination five or six times, and was captured in a photograph at Gettysburg in 1863.
Though Basiago claims to have experienced eight different time travel technologies, most travel involved a teleporter based on technical papers supposedly found in pioneering mechanical engineer Nikola Tesla’s New York City apartment after his death in January 1943. The teleporter “consisted of two gray elliptical booms about eight feet tall, separated by about 10 feet, between which a shimmering curtain of what Tesla called ‘radiant energy’ was broadcast,” Basiago says. “Radiant energy is a form of energy that Tesla discovered that is latent and pervasive in the universe and has among its properties the capacity to bend time-space.”
Basiago said each of his visits to the past was different, “like they were sending us to slightly different alternative realities on adjacent timelines. As these visits began to accumulate, I twice ran into myself during two different visits.”
Being sent back in time to the same place and moment, but from different starting points in the present, allowed two of himselves to be in Ford’s Theatre at the same time in 1865.
“After the first of these two encounters with myself occurred, I was concerned that my cover might be blown,” he recalled. “Unlike the jump to Gettysburg, in which I was clutching a letter to Navy Secretary Gideon Welles to offer me aid and assistance in the event I was arrested, I didn’t have any explanatory materials when I was sent to Ford’s Theatre.”
Basiago’s claims are supported by Alfred Webre, a lawyer specializing in “exopolitics,” or the political implications surrounding an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Webre says teleportation and time travel have been around for 40 years, but are hoarded by the Defense Department instead of being used to transfer goods and services.

Witness statement: Saw a cloud casting a shadow from the sun. Thought it would be a good picture. Noticed a bronze white sphere descending. Took 3 consecutive pictures before gone.
When I went to view the pictures on a larger screen I saw the object. I verified it was not a lens flair as it moved in a straight line down. I am attaching the pictures. I can say I had a strong urge to take the pictures before i stopped to take them. Almost like I was told to take the picture. weird. Mufon case 60771 2014-10-16

Witness Statement: I notice a large number of con-trails that afternoon. I went outside and took two images of the sky which included the Sun. I had no idea there was anything different on one of the images.
I am familiar of lens flare and this could be doesn’t appear to be. The other shot shows no such flair. I only noticed the spot when I went back inside and looked at the images on the camera viewfinder. The area was on the first image taken at 6:14 and not on the second image taken at 6:18. The time between the images was just short of 5 minutes. After I took the first image I went inside and pulled it up on the viewfinder then went back outside and took the second and that is why there is almost 5 minutes between them.
I am sure there must be a good reason for this but it just looks different or possibly real and this is the first time I have sent one of my pictures in for a second look. I didn’t see the object so I can’t answer some of the questions although it requires me to check a box. Mufon case 60777 2014-10-17

Witness statement: It was a Monday evening around 3:30-4:00 PM; I was picking my son up from school.
I noticed something bright in the sky which I thought was a second sun or even a planet as I took the pictures.
I didn’t realize what I had gotten until later on in the week as I sorted through my pictures.
Then I realized I had got something very interesting.

Witness said: I knew it was only a matter of time before I was finally able to get much closer to this amazing UFO and all of its traveling companions. I do wish I could have gotten closer but living in a big city means I am going to have distractions in the form of cars, trucks and motorcycles. I honestly don’t know what this thing is but I have started to believe that it prefers to avoid people if possible. There were a number of times that it went lights out because of people being in the area. As soon as they left it lit right back up and continued on its way. What ended up stopping it completely was a car that went even closer than me with its headlights on. The people in the car did turn them off but not before the object went dark for the final time. I had parked my car behind a large metal utility box and tried to stay low key. If it knew I was there it didn’t seem to care.
Witness said: Approximately 7PM EST on 10-17-2014, a friend and I observed lights that suddenly appeared, ascended, descended, and then began to behave erratically in the sky.
There were two occurrences (1 of 2 filmed) tied to this event. The first (unfilmed but observed) occurred approximately 7PM EST and was initially only one (1) light that was observed from an outside parking lot. The light suddenly appeared in the sky, and then descended before its view was obstructed by a building that was a few feet from us.
The second occurrence happened several minutes later where multiple lights appeared. This occurrence was both observed and filmed by us.
East of where we were standing, 3 lights appeared in the sky (approximately 1/4 mile from where we were.) Immediately after the three lights appeared, we quickly observed tails (almost like flames) behind them. The first thought was that it was a broken up fireball, until it was noticed all 3 had initially appeared, ascended, and then descended relatively in the same direction. It was then suggested that it was fireworks, but there was no noise associated with it. In addition, the objects looked more like flames were coming from then than sparks.
The objects began to zig-zag erratically, ascending and descending. On occasion a dark object could almost be seen above the glowing objects. The next thought was that it may have been parachutists night jumping with flares, but the objects looked too large, including the trail of flames/sparks. In addition, there are no landing fields anywhere East of our position where we were filming, and anything landing would have landed in the city. No planes were observed in the immediate area during this time frame; and parachutists have never been observed jumping and/or descending in this manner. It should also be pointed out that it was a calm evening with little to no wind.
Approximately 1-2 minutes later of observing the zig-zagging of the lights, the tails began to diminish, and a fourth light appeared East of the 3 lights. The three lights began to quickly slow down, and descend after the appearance of the 4th light. At one point, at least one light began to pulse a few times, before diminishing all together. After approximately another minute, all 3 lights diminished, and only the 4th light remained, where we observed it descend, ascend, zig-zag, turn, and then hover for a lengthy period of time before disappearing altogether.
We remained in the area for an additional 1/2 hour and never saw the lights reappear.

Het is misschien niet langer een uit de lucht gegrepen term, want als het over een korte periode gaat, blijkt er wel degelijk een soort leven na de dood te bestaan. Volgens wetenschappers aan de Universiteit van Southampton blijft het bewustzijn minstens nog enkele minuten intact nadat de hersenen gestopt zijn met werken.
Het is iets dat tot voor kort onmogelijk werd geacht. De dood is een onvermijdelijk gevolg van het leven, maar onderzoekers geloven nu dat het misschien niet zo zwart-wit is. In de grootste studie rond het onderwerp ooit onderzochten ze gedurende vier jaar de bijna-doodervaringen na een hartstilstand van 2.000 mensen uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk, de Verenigde Staten en Oostenrijk. Wat blijkt? 40 procent van de mensen die de hartstilstand overleefden, beschreven een soort bewustzijn nadat ze eigenlijk al klinisch dood waren.
Drie minuten Een 57-jarige man beweerde zelfs dat hij uit zijn lichaam trad en zijn eigen reanimatie vanuit een hoek van de kamer gadesloeg. En dat terwijl hij fysiek bewusteloos was en eigenlijk 'dood' gedurende zeker drie minuten.
De man uit Southampton was in staat om de acties van de verpleging tot in de details te vertellen en kon zelfs het geluid van de hartmonitor accuraat beschrijven.
Dokter Sam Parnia, een voormalig onderzoeker aan de Southampton Universiteit, die het onderzoek leidde, zegt: "De man beschreef alles wat er in de kamer gebeurd was, maar belangrijker nog, hij had twee bliepjes gehoord van de machine die om de drie minuten een geluid maakt. Dus konden we meten hoelang de ervaring duurde."
"Hij klonk erg geloofwaardig en alles wat hij zei was ook echt gebeurd."
Van de 2060 patiënten met een hartstilstand die bestudeerd werden, overleefden ongeveer 330 mensen. 140 van hen beweerden een bijna-doodervaring te hebben gehad.
Helder licht Dokter Parnia, die nu aan de State Universiteit van New York werkt, voegt eraan toe dat veel mensen een gevoel van rust beschreven, of het feit dat de tijd net sneller of trager ging, terwijl sommigen een helder licht of de zon zagen.
Anderen beschreven dan weer een gevoel van angst, alsof ze verdronken of hun lichaam door diep water werd gesleurd.
Hij gelooft dat nog meer mensen mogelijk gelijkaardige ervaringen hebben, maar ze dit door hersenschade of verdovende medicijnen niet meer kunnen herinneren. "Naar schatting hebben miljoenen mensen levendige ervaringen in verband met de dood, maar het wetenschappelijk bewijs daarvoor is op z'n zachtst gezegd ambigu."
Volgens hem veronderstellen mensen vaak dat het om hallucinaties of illusies gaat, maar "het lijkt wel degelijk over echte gebeurtenissen te gaan". Hij hoopt dan ook op verder onderzoek naar het onderwerp.
De studie werd gepubliceerd in het magazine Resuscitation.
Curiosity Tijdens zijn eerste twee jaren op Mars ontdekte NASA's Curiosity dat er ooit leven mogelijk was op de Rode Planeet. Een gigantische ontdekking, waar tien jaren van voorbereidingen, technische moeilijkheden en overwinningen aan vooraf gingen. In zijn boek 'Mars Rover Curiosity' biedt hoofdingenieur Rob Manning een exclusieve blik achter de schermen van het project.
'Mars Rover Curiosity, An inside account from Curiosity's chief engineer' biedt de lezer een getuigenverslag van de planning en de bouw van het meest complexe staaltje machinerie dat ooit ontworpen is om op een andere planeet te landen. Technische uitdagingen, bezuinigingen en ontwerpwijzigingen achtervolgden het team, wat uiteindelijk leidde tot twee jaar uitstel van de missie.
Maar tien jaar en twee miljard dollar later kan het team het ene succes na het andere vieren. Afgelopen zomer vierde de Curiosity zijn tweede verjaardag op Mars. In die tijd deed de Marswagen tal van baanbrekende ontdekkingen. Een overzicht.
Een van zijn eerste ontdekkingen deed de Curiosity al vlak na de landing op Mars. In september 2012 vond de Marsjeep rotsen die vermoedelijk afgerond en afgevlakt waren door een oude rivier. De lagen van het grondgesteente zijn volgens wetenschappers het bewijs dat er ooit een kniediepe waterstroom was. Waar het water naartoe ging, is nog niet duidelijk: mogelijk verdween het in de rotsen of verdampte het in de atmosfeer.
Leven op Mars?
In december 2012 maakte NASA groot nieuws bekend. De Curiosity had in de bodem van de Rode Planeet heel wat tekenen van leven gevonden. Uit metingen bleek dat de juiste omstandigheden er aanwezig waren om levende microben te ondersteunen. Door in de gesteenten te boren, ontdekte de Marsjeep de sleutelingrediënten die leven mogelijk maken: koolstof, waterstof, zuurstof, fosfor en zwavel. De kleimineralen en het weinige zout die gevonden werden, wijzen uit dat er ooit drinkbaar water geweest kan zijn.
Het beste bewijs dat tot nu toe gevonden werd, zijn foto's van kiezelstenen die de Curiosity nam in de Gale-krater. De stenen zijn samengesteld uit zand, zoals typisch in rivierbeddingen op Aarde. Wanneer stenen door wind en zandstormen verweren, worden ze rauw en hoekig. Maar volgens wetenschappers is te zien dat nagenoeg alle van de 515 geanalyseerde kiezelstenen vlak, glad en afgeslepen zijn.
Aan de hand van gegevens die de Curiosity in zijn eerste 300 dagen op de planeet verzamelde, kon in mei 2013 voor het eerst worden vastgesteld aan hoeveel straling astronauten worden blootgesteld tijdens een reis naar Mars. De stralingen overschrijden de limiet die NASA vooropstelt. Op basis van deze informatie kunnen ruimtevaartuigen en ruimtepakken gebouwd worden die mensen tijdens verre ruimtereizen kunnen beschermen.
Inseptember 2013 stelde NASA vast dat de Curiosity nog geen enkel spoor van methaan had gevonden in de atmosfeer van Mars. Dat doet de kans dat er leven is slinken. Levende organismen, zoals wij die kennen, produceren methaan. Om te bewijzen dat er ooit leven op Mars was, gingen wetenschappers daarom op zoek naar deze substantie. De zoektocht gaat intussen nog steeds verder.
Wetenschappers verwonderen zich over de variëteit aan grond- en steensoorten die gevonden werden in de Gale-krater. De Curiosity ontdekte er verschillende soorten grind, vulkanische gesteenten, duinen, moddergesteenten en barsten vol mineralen. Uit foto's blijkt overigens dat de rode stof die de planeet kenmerkt maar een dun laagje is. Daaronder is Mars wit.
Onlangs bereikte de Marsjeep zijn ultieme bestemming, Mount Sharp. De Curiosity zal de komende jaren de geologische lagen van de berg onderzoeken.

De komeet Siding Spring is zondagavond op korte afstand langs de planeet Mars gevlogen. De komeet naderde de rode planeet tot op 140.000 kilometer, een derde van de afstand tussen de aarde en de maan. Toen de afstand het kleinst was, om 20.27 uur, had de komeet een snelheid van 203.000 kilometer per uur in verhouding tot Mars. Dat meldt de NASA.
Het is de eerste keer in de geschiedenis van de wetenschappen dat een komeet een planeet zo dichtbij nadert. "We zijn allemaal zeer enthousiast", zegt Guy Webster van het Jet Propulsion Laboratory van het ruimtevaartagentschap van de VS.
De NASA bracht voor de ongewone gebeurtenis ruimtesonden, telescopen en Mars-voertuigen in stelling. Wetenschapper willen op die manier belangrijke gegevens verzamelen: over de samenstelling van kometen, die overblijfsels zijn van het ontstaan van ons zonnestelsel, maar ook over de wisselwerking tussen de atmosfeer van Mars en haar omgeving.
De komeet met de wetenschappelijke benaming C/2013 A1 stamt uit de zogenaamde Oortwolk. Dit verre gebied in het heelal is sinds het ontstaan van het planetenstelsel nauwelijks veranderd. De ontdekker van de komeet is Robert H. McNaught in het Siding Spring Observatorium in Australië.
Minstens zestien apparaten in het heelal en op Mars zijn volgens de NASA betrokken bij de analyse, onder meer Mars-verkenner Curiosity en ruimtetelescoop Hubble. Ook ruimtesonde Maven, die kortgeleden Mars bereikte, wordt ingezet. De eerste gegevens en beelden over het voorblijvliegen van de komeet worden volgens Webster maandag verwacht.
