Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

UFO mania: Unseen infrared image of Loch Ness Monster Nessie to be revealed at Paranormal Festival
THE first infrared image of the Loch Ness Monster will be revealed at Scotland’s first Paranormal Festival.
LEADING paranormal investigator Jonathan Bright will travel from his home in Greece to Scotland to deliver his views on an intriguing image he captured in late 2011 of a strange “monstrous head” coming out of the waters of Loch Ness.
The picture was published in 2013 and has since led to a great deal of discussions and analysis.
Its impact on what is known about the legendary monster will be a key theme explored by Mr Bright at “Is Nessie Paranormal” during the Paranormal Festival in Stirling from 30 October to 2 November.
As well as delving into the picture itself, the audience will be taken on a journey back into Loch Ness Monster folklore to discover similar views of new and past researchers in their effort to understand the “Nessie” phenomenon.

After the festival Mr Bright will return to Loch Ness to launch a new investigation into the dark waters of this famous Scottish landmark.
“My travels for exploring legends and investigating mysterious phenomena have taken me to various places in Europe, but nowhere else have I felt so enchanted and connected with the place as at the mysterious Loch Ness,” said Mr Bright.
“It was only a brief trip in the Highlands, but on the day that I was actually cruising the Loch, my infrared camera had captured a picture that, in my opinion, proves that the ‘monster’ is much more than a tall tale.
“Of course, a picture alone will never be able to stand out as ‘unambiguous’ evidence, let alone provide adequate answers to all of our questions on the exact nature of the phenomenon that we call Nessie.
“This theme I will explore in my presentation, examining the possible scenarios, but mostly focusing on the idea that I find most intriguing, that Nessie may be some sort of a manifestation of the place itself. This idea of course is not new, there is a long tradition of researchers that have understood Nessie as some sort of ‘paranormal’ phenomenon.
“Whatever is the truth, there is no denying that Nessie will continue to intrigue the world for years to come.”
On 14 April 1933, Aldie Mackay, manageress of the Drumnadrochit Hotel, spoke of seeing a “whale-like fish” in the loch. Alex Campbell, a water bailiff and part-time journalist, recorded the sighting in the Inverness Courier, under the headline: “Strange Spectacle in Loch Ness”.
VisitScotland Chief Executive Malcolm Roughead said: “It would be difficult to overstate the importance of Mrs Mackay’s sighting of the Loch Ness Monster some 81 years ago to tourism in Scotland.
“There are few places in the world where people haven’t heard of the phenomenon and many have made the journey to the beautiful mysterious shores of this now famous Loch to catch a glimpse of Nessie herself.
“The Scottish Paranormal Festival is set to be a mystifying and intriguing few days. From ghosts to aliens, UFOs to vampires, it will be a chance to discover the fact behind the fiction and see if the truth really is out there and I would urge everyone to make the trip to Stirling.”

San Francisco, California – 10-11-14 – I was watching Blue Angels with 100’s of people on rooftops. I used my iPhone 6 to shoot several slow-mo videos. I never got them quite right above me. 5 days later, I watched the videos and when I saw them in slo-mo (they were shot at 240FPS) I saw something pretty incredible. There must be 100’s of videos like that, 10,000+ people were watching. I did not see anything in real time and you cannot really see anything in real time on the video either.
But since I was shooting at 240FPS, at slow-mo, object moving across the sky, making a loop to “look” at the flying planes, while they look almost still and taking off at 10-100x the speed of the jet planes is clearly visible. I have the original video, untouched on my iPhone 6. It could be validated by experts. You could also ask on local TV station for other people who shot 3:27:00 – 3:28:00 PM in high speed! Other people must have much better video of this. There were hundreds of people who must have shot this and just did not realize what is on their videos.
Witness said: I thought they were airplanes at first, but they were too close and crossing paths. I pulled the car over and recorded them on my iPhone 5 with the highest zoom.

Two new West Virginia UFO cases were filed yesterday involving low-flying craft – totaling four October case investigations underway, according to reports 60806 and 60814 filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

For UFO cases filed in October 2014 that also occurred in October, here is an up-to-date overview of all four investigations.
Case 60750: October 9, 2014, 9 p.m., Barbour County in north-central West Virginia. The reporting witness was sitting on his father’s front porch with his sister and father when the object was first seen.
“I noticed a bright light rising above a tree at a distance and didn’t think anything of it until it paused in the sky followed by two more lights behind it,” the witness stated. The three ventured into the backyard to photograph and videotape the object.
“And out of nowhere the bigger object just takes off at a speed that I can’t even describe and followed by the other two lights which weren’t as fast.”

The larger object moved over a nearby cow field in an area that’s usually very quiet.
“So after it stopped over the cow field you could hear the cows making noises for a few seconds and then it got quiet. None of the objects made any kind of sound even at the speeds they were traveling. The light stayed out at a distance for a little while just flashing with a very bright light.”
Witness photography was not included with the original report filed on October 19, 2014, but will be reviewed as part of the investigation.
Case 60631: Ten West Virginia witnesses near Marmet working a coal plant evening shift reported watching three triangle-shaped UFOs the size of football fields silently moving under 500 feet beginning at 10 p.m. on October 12, 2014. The story was covered as: Three ‘football field sized’ UFOs reported low by multiple West Virginia witnesses.
West Virginia State Director Fred Saluga is in touch with witnesses this week and will be taking additional testimony on the case.
Case 60806: October 17, 2014, 8:10 p.m., near Morgantown-South Park area, a white orb was seen hovering and then darting away.
The reporting witnesses’ wife was standing on their front porch looking northwest when the object was first seen.
“She noticed a large, ‘softball sized,’ white orb below the cloud cover,” the witness stated. “Possibly 250-400 feet above the ground and maybe four or five blocks north of our house. It was hovering/hanging in the sky when she first spotted it.”
The object soon moved away.
“As she tried to comprehend and understand what she was looking at, it darted away, and crossed the entire sky/horizon in under a second. It did not leave a visible trail or change directions.”
The object did not behave like anything the witness considered natural or man-made.
“It had the appearance of a shooting star except it started from a dead stop. It was also eerily quiet outside that evening and the object made no noticeable noise either while hovering or moving across the sky.”
Case 60814: October 20, 2014, Peterstown, Monroe County, West Virginia. Three objects witnessed.
The witness was outside on her front porch when odd things began to occur.
“All of a sudden I noticed the sky got really dark in a certain area,” the witness stated. “My lights flickered and my cell phone was scrambled. I looked up at the sky and seen a really large diamond-shaped object with pulsating lights flying towards my house.”
The object stopped and began hovering over power lines near the front of the witnesses’ house. Then the witness noticed more objects behind the first one.
“The one behind this one was also diamond-shaped and had pulsating lights. It had lights on the inside of this dome-looking thing. The third one was round. It also had lights all over it just blinking.”
The witness then stated that her dogs “went crazy” barking and howling. She tried to take pictures at this point but reported that her phone would not work.
“So I just stood there observing them and they were maybe 500 feet above me – if that. They hovered all over my neighbor’s field and then the next thing I know is I just see three streaks of light shoot over the top of my house and they were gone.”

West Virginia is generally a low reporting state. There have been a total of 45 UFO cases filed with MUFON since January 1, 2014; where 31 of those cases occurred during the reporting month.
Of those 31 cases, 10 have been assigned and remain under investigation. The other 21 cases have been resolved: Identified Flying Object, 1; Information Only, 2; Insufficient Data, 13; and Unknowns, 5.
The five 2014 cases closed as an Unknown are:
Case 54392: 8:49 p.m., March 1, 2014, Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. “Witnessed a glowing fireball-like object moving from the west that then changed course and head north.”
Case 55587: 7:30 p.m., March 28, 2014, West Union, Dodridge Rouncy, West Virginia. “Three of us was on top of the ridge around dusk. UFO quickly appeared from the south moving north. It lit up very brightly just after passing over us and then moved north out of sight.”
Case 56549: 1:30 a.m., May 24, 2014, Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. Bright orange star-like object stationary with a smaller white object – white in appearance – flashed bright three times.”
Case 57961: 10:55 p.m., July 12, 2014, Milton, Cabell County, West Virginia. “Orange lights appearing out of a cloud bank.”
Case 58677: 9:12 p.m., August 5, 2014, Cabell County, West Virginia. “On porch, witnessed craft approach, stop, change direction and disappear.”

For centuries wild pigs caused headaches for landowners in the American South, but the foragers’ small populations remained stable. In the past 30 years, though, their ranks have swollen until suddenly disease-carrying, crop-devouring swine have spread to 39 states. Now, wild pigs are five million strong and the targets of a $20-million federal initiative to get their numbers under control.
Settlers first brought the ancestors of today’s pigs to the South in the 1600s and let them roam free as a ready supply of fresh pork. Not surprisingly, some of the pigs wandered off and thrived in the wild, thanks to their indiscriminate appetites.
Wildlife biologists can’t really explain how pigs from a few pockets were able to extend their range so rapidly in recent years. “If you look at maps of pig distribution from the eighties, there’s a lot of pigs, but primarily in Florida and Texas,” says Stephen Ditchkoff, a wildlife ecologist at Auburn University. “Today, populations in the southeast have exploded. In the Midwest and the north it’s grown to be a significant problem.” Ditchkoff believes sportsmen transported the pigs so they could hunt them on their land. Read more at Scientific American
Swedes Could be Searching for Covert Russian Midget Sub
The mystery submersible spotted in Swedish waters near Stockholm on Friday could be one of a handful of Soviet-era midget submarines operating from a mother ship in the Baltics and not likely a larger Russian Navy submarine.
Since Friday, the Swedish Navy has been operating a large-scale search following reports of “foreign underwater activity,” near the Swedish capital employing several patrol craft and a Visby-class corvette.
The Swedes have doubled down on the hunt expanding the search area for the mystery craft that could be, “a submarine, or a smaller submarine… It could be divers using some form of moped-like underwater vehicle and it could be divers that do not have any business on our territory,” said Swedish Navy Rear Adm. Anders Grenstad earlier this week.
Though the Russians have denied any involvement, the presence of a Russian-owned cargo ship, NS Concord, acting suspiciously in the Baltic and reports of encrypted transmissions on a Russian emergency channel toward the Russian naval base at Kaliningrad originating near Sweden point toward the operation of a Russian midget sub.
“Speculation that the suspected Swedish contact could be a midget submarine is certainly plausible. Midget submarines can be launched covertly from beneath larger vessels ,” according to a Tuesday analysis in Jane’s Defence Weekly.
Concord was spotted moving in a zigzag pattern in Swedish waters, “as if in a search or rendezvous pattern,” reported Jane’s.
“When the situation became more publicly known, NS Concord turned about and headed northeastwards towards Russian waters.”
Concord was off the coast of Estonia and steaming in the direction of St. Petersburg, Russia as of Tuesday afternoon, according to MarineTraffic.com.
One possible suspect is a Soviet-era midget submarine used for insertion of special operations forces (SOF) that Russia has been marketing for export.
“Russia has renewed its interest in midget submarines, including the Project 865 Piranha-class (NATO reporting name Losos) vessel, two of which have been based in the Baltic in the past. They are exceptionally quiet, stealthy, and with a low detection signature,” wrote Jane’s.
The Piranhas displace a mere 390 tons submerged and can carry a compliment of nine crew and six combat divers, according to the U.S. Naval Institute’s Combat Fleets of the World.
The diesel-electric submarines have a reported ten-day endurance.
The Soviet-era Piranhas were built in the 1980s and stricken from the Russian fleet in 1997, however at least one may have been upgraded for use as a technology demonstrator for potential foreign sales, according to Combat Fleets.
Other experts have speculated the submersible could be a Project 908 Triton II swimmer delivery vehicle (LSDV), a 6-ton craft capable of delivering six combat divers with a range of 60 nautical miles.
But as the search continues, the prospect of a Triton as the suspected craft is less likely given the sub’s 12-hour endurance.
The suspected craft was first spotted on Oct. 17 and again on Oct. 20.

The next reversal of the Earth’s magnetic field could happen within the next couple of thousand years.
For some time now there have been signs that our planet’s magnetic field could be preparing to undergo a complete reversal, a change that would see the North Pole move to Antarctica and the South Pole move to the Arctic.
While magnetic field reversals have occurred on a regular basis throughout Earth’s history, the next one will be the first to take place in almost 800,000 years.
Scientists believe that the flip cycle will be preceded by a weakening of the magnetic field, something that recent measurements have indicated is now actually happening. There’s no telling however exactly when the reversal itself will take place so it may still not occur for several thousand years.
“We don’t really know whether the next reversal is going to resemble the last one, so it’s impossible to say whether we’re just seeing the first of possibly several excursions (slight movements), or a true reversal,” said Paul Renne, director of the Geochronology Center at the University of California.
When it does happen however scientists believe that, far from lasting several millennia, the actual flipping of the magnetic poles will only take around 100 years to complete. Read more at Fox News

FATHER AND SON’S ALIEN ABDUCTION AND IMPLANTS MARCH 20, 1988 …….. MISSISSIPPI
John Salter, Jr., accompanied by his son, left Grand Forks, North Dakota and drove his pickup truck on Route 61 toward his first engagement in Mississippi. For some unknown reason, John drove his truck off of his scheduled route. About one hour later, the two found themselves traveling in the opposite direction. They decided to take a rest for the night, and continue their trip the next morning. The two men were at a loss to understand what had happened the evening before, though they discussed it at length as they continued down their original mapped-out drive.
Suddenly the two were shocked to see a shining UFO with a silvery “energy field.” The object had just “appeared” over the road they were on. John Jr. and his son both had a “familiar” feeling about what they were seeing, and they began to have flashbacks, refreshing their minds of the events of the previous day. They looked at each other, both now aware that the day before they had been stopped dead in their tracks by the object they were now engaged with. Both men had stepped out of the vehicle as a group of aliens came toward their pickup truck.
At first John Jr. thought he was seeing a group of children, until he saw a taller being, which seemed half-human, half-alien. The group of strange beings led the two men away in the direction of the object. The two men, though frightened in one way, felt that the alien beings would not hurt them. John Jr. would later relate that he felt a sense of being protected by the strange entities. He had taken a stumble while they were making their way to the ship, but a type of “energy” kept him from falling and being hurt.
John Jr. and his son were both led into a room with curved walls, where they were placed in chairs which resembled the fold-back type used by dentists. Both men would later recall a feeling of being “immobilized” while they laid back in the chairs, and were examined. John Jr.’s examination began with an implant being inserted into his nostril, remarkably though, without pain. Next an instrument of some kind was injected into the side of his neck, and another one at the top of his chest. He felt the three areas chosen by the beings had a medical significance: the placement related to three glands; the pituitary, the thyroid, and the thymus. John had enough medical knowledge to know the three glands regulated human growth, metabolism, and immunity.
After the completion of the tests, John Jr. felt a sense of “bonding” with the strange, alien beings. He also sensed a message which stated they would meet again. These strange circumstances would take even a more bizarre turn after John and his son had returned home. John Jr. noticed a gradual improvement in his overall health. His fingernails and hair grew faster and thicker, and a scar on his forehead began to fade, and eventually almost disappeared. This was a brief review of the incident, though Salter had offered other statements for several years after the incident. In 1990, Salter determined that he had previous alien encounters in 1941, 1952 and 1957.
Throughout history there have been reported occurrences of crosses in the sky. Some of these cross in the sky events have changed history, others just amazed and confounded the observers. In the scheme of things, crosses in the sky are a very tiny percentage of sightings, but they deserve to be discussed.
History records that in 312 C.E., Constantine, during his march to Rome, witnessed a radiant cross in the sky. As a result of this sighting and his subsequent successful battle, Constantine converted to Christianity and that gave a major boost to Christianity in the Western Roman Empire.
In another historical miracle of legend, in 1139 Don Alonzo observed a brilliant and elaborate cross in the eastern sky just before a successful the battle against the Moors at Ourique, Portugal.
In one of my early New York Skies articles, I shared the story of a lady in 1861 New York City who saw what appeared to be a flaming cross in the sky in the middle of the night. Modern analysis of the sighting suggested that huge city block sized fire that was raging at the same time might have been reflecting off of the metallic hull of an unknown airborne craft hovering above old New York City.
Of course it must be pointed out that each of these aforementioned cross in the sky sighting incidents were before our human species had aircraft.
In more modern times folks still observe stationary crosses in the sky and some of these sightings are right here in central New York.
Evening October 14th, 2009, Harry and his family had just left from an outing at the local mall in Syracuse. While they were still navigating the parking lot maze, his wife Joyce pointing out the car window screamed, “What is that?”
Harry pulled over the car and stopped in order to take a good look.
“The UFO we witnessed was huge and had a black metallic bottom with several lights around the cross shaped object. It was smoky looking around the lights.”
Harry says that they watched in awe as the object moved away slowly left, then to the right, as it went away from them at what appeared to be perhaps a leisurely 5-10mph.
“There was absolutely no sound, which baffled me considering it was immense.”
The family spent did their best to follow the object as it moved away from them toward the southeast. The object vanished in the night sky.
About a month later on November 11th, a Unadilla, NY resident witnessed a similar sighting. He reports; “It had flashing lights, red, green, blue, and white all in the shape of a cross. The object did not move from its position for more than an hour.”
A few weeks after that on December 3rd a couple of residents of Montgomery, NY observed a four sided star shaped object hovering beside Interstate 84E.
“It was hovering about 100 feet above the ground, and had four wings and had round bright white lights on it. It was absolutely silent and was not causing wind turbulence or anything.”
Sweden’s armed forces have launched their largest domestic military effort since the cold war in a hunt for an unidentified floating object. The hunt began on Thursday, and the military has received over 100 sighting reports. The Swedish military is no closer to finding the object, which they believe to be a Russian submarine. However, as the hunt goes on, the usual suspects are beginning to offer an alternative explanation, that – you guessed it – has to do with extraterrestrials, or what is referred to as Unidentified Submerged Objects (USOs).

Although online banter is cropping up that the object in question may be extraterrestrial in nature, the Swedish military has never doubted what they are chasing is man-made. According to Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, the hunt began on Thursday, October 16, when the Swedish military picked up a distress call from a vessel in the Stockholm archipelago. The Stockholm archipelago is a chain of islands in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Sweden near Stockholm that spans 37 miles.
The next day, sighting reports of a foreign vessel began coming in from civilians in the towns of Kanholmfjärden and Nämdöfjärden, near Stockholm. The Swedish armed forces then deployed 200 troops to search for the object, making this their largest domestic military operation since the cold war.
On Saturday, Sweden intercepted communications between the Stockholm archipelago and the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, the headquarters of Russia’s Baltic Fleet. This has lead experts to believe that the USO could be a damaged Russian submarine.
A story by Svenska Dagbladet included the movements of a Russian-owned oil tanker tweeted by @DefenseChemist. Svenska Dagbladetspeculates that a damaged Russian submarine would need support, and they suspect this vessel, named the NS Concord, could be doing just that.

On Sunday, the Swedish military released a picture of the unidentified craft taken by a civilian in Jungfrufjärden. He told the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, “It was definitely a submarine, I’m certain about it.”

The Russians finally chimed in on Monday, claiming the craft is not theirs and suggested it probably belongs to the Dutch, who also denied ownership.
Meanwhile, the Swedish government sends mixed messages. On Saturday, the military claimed they would continue their hunt “until we consider that we are done.” However, on Monday, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told the press, “there is no submarine hunt underway”, it is only “an ongoing intelligence gathering operation.”
According to Swedish newspaper The Local, at a press conference on Tuesday, “Supreme Commander General Sverker Göranson said that the most important goal of the operation was to ‘send a very clear signal that Sweden and its armed forces are acting and are ready to act when we think this kind of activity is violating our borders.’”
Göranson also said submarines are “extremely difficult” to find, but that when they did find it, “Our aim now is to force whatever it is up to the surface… with armed force, if necessary.”
As the hunt enters its sixth day, Swedish armed forces have confirmed that they have received over 100 tips from the public, and the hunt is moving into a “new phase.” However, they gave no details as to what that phase entails.

According to The Local, thus far the operation has included, “Battleships, minesweepers, helicopters and more than 200 troops have been scouring an area about 30 to 60 kilometres from the Swedish capital.” The Swedish military also set up an exclusion zone, allowing no civilian flights under 900 meters in the area.
Swedish media also notes that historically the Swedish military has not been very successful hunting Russian subs. In the 80s and 90s they only captured one, and that was due to it running aground a few miles away from one of Sweden’s largest naval bases.
This presentation begins with a brief history of NASA’s “Skylab” program before focusing on a bizarre UFO encounter that occurred on September 20th, 1973, during Flight Day 55 of the Skylab III (SLM-2) mission. However, even with those contradictions in the official evidence chain, the Skylab III encounter remains a confirmed UFO sighting that has never been explained. What is certain is that the Skylab III crew had no idea what this bizarre pulsating red object was, and neither does NASA or NORAD (at least officially).

Dat is het Dopplereffect: een ster die zich dichtbij een planeet bevindt, straalt iets blauwer licht uit; verder weg wordt het licht roder. Door deze subtiele veranderingen te bestuderen, kunnen astronomen planeten opsporen.
Bij deze techniek wordt gebruik gemaakt van een micro-zwaartekrachtlens. Einsteins algemene relativiteitstheorie leert dat grote objecten lichtstralen kunnen ombuigen als een lens. Wanneer twee sterren op één lijn staan, is het gevolg dat de ster op de achtergrond groter lijkt. Wat astronomen dan zien, is dat de zwakke, verre ster helderder wordt en daarna weer dooft.
Planeten kunnen deze lichtstralen ook buigen. Indien de zwakke ster op de achtergrond helderder wordt en daarna dooft op een meer hakkelende manier, verraadt dat de aanwezigheid van een planeet bij de voorgrondster.
Dit is de methode waarmee de Keplertelescoop al massa's planeten ontdekte. Wanneer een planeet in zijn gezichtsveld komt, blokkeert die een minieme hoeveelheid sterrenlicht. Hoewel de planeet te klein is om hem te zien, is zijn aanwezigheid voelbaar. Door deze minimale lichtschommelingen in kaart te brengen, heeft Kepler al bijna 3.000 mogelijke exoplaneten ontdekt.

Enkele dagen geleden is een Airbus 320 bezig met de nadering van het vliegveld van Manchester in Engeland.
Ineens schrikt de bemanning zich een hoedje want vlak langs de cockpit vliegt een man.
Enkele dagen geleden heeft er zich in Engeland een bizarre gebeurtenis voorgedaan waarvoor niemand een antwoord heeft kunnen vinden.
De bemanning van een Airbus 320 passagiersvliegtuig was stomverbaasd toen er een vliegende man langs hun cockpitraam vloog.
Het vliegtuig was onderweg naar het vliegveld van Manchester, begonnen aan de nadering en vloog op een hoogte van ruim 1.000 meter toen er vanuit het niets een man langsvloog.
De bemanning rapporteerde het voorval aan de verkeersleiding en dachten dat het misschien om een parachutist ging die zijn parachute nog niet had geopend.
De verkeersleiding kon echter helemaal niets ontdekken op de radar. Er werd later onderzoek gedaan om te kijken of er ergens in de buurt misschien parachutisten actief waren geweest, maar dat was niet het geval. Dat was ook niet waarschijnlijk want deze mensen springen meestal niet op de naderingsroutes van internationale vliegvelden.
De man passeerde het vliegtuig aan de linkerkant, op een afstand van zo'n 100 tot 200 meter. Het gebeurde allemaal zo snel dat de bemanning geen tijd had om zelfs maar een ontwijkende actie te overwegen.
Toen zij hun rapport indienden gingen ze er nog steeds vanuit dat het een parachutist geweest zou zijn, wat dus niet het geval bleek.
Op het moment dat dit incident zich afspeelde was het weer helder met een zicht van tenminste tien kilometer.
Nadat alle professionele instanties waren geraadpleegd kwam men tot de frustrerende conclusie dat het raadsel niet opgelost kon worden. Sterker nog, dat er waarschijnlijk nooit een oplossing zal komen.
Het is duidelijk dat de piloten een menselijk figuur langs hun vliegtuig zagen vallen/vliegen. Daarover bestaat weinig twijfel. Het zijn getrainde professionals die echt het verschil kunnen zien tussen een ballon en een menselijk figuur.
En dus hebben we hier volgens de definitie te maken met een menselijk uitziend ongeïdentificeerd object; een menselijk uitziende UFO dus.
Dit is niet de eerste keer dat een dergelijk voorval wordt gemeld in Engeland. Ook in 2009 was er een melding in het graafschap Staffordshire van meerdere getuigen die een vliegende man hadden gezien. Deze kreeg toen al snel de bijnaam Superman.
Hoe dan ook, de vliegende man die langs het vliegtuig vloog bij Manchester blijft voorlopig een onverklaard mysterie. Men heeft nog even gedacht aan een bankier, maar omdat er geen hoog bankgebouw in de buurt was, heeft men dat snel laten varen.
