Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

UFO mania: The Unanswered Mystery of the 7,000-Year-Old Pre-Sumerian Lizardmen
It is a commonly accepted view in mainstream archaeology that civilization started in Iraq, in ancient Mesopotamia with the great civilization of Sumeria. However, there is an archaeological discovery at the Al Ubaid archaeological site, where many pre-Sumerian 7,000-year-old artefacts were found, depicting humanoid figures with lizard characteristics. The Ubaidian culture is a prehistoric culture in Mesopotamia that dates between 4000 and 5500 BC. As with the Sumerians, the origins of the Ubaidian people is unknown. They lived in large village settlements in mud-brick houses and they had developed architecture, agriculture and farmed the land using irrigation. The domestic architecture included large T-shaped houses, open courtyards, paved streets, as well as food processing equipment.
Some of these villages began to develop into towns, temples began to appear, as well as monumental buildings such as in Eridu, Ur and Uruk, the major sites of the Sumerian Civilization. According to the Sumerian texts, Ur was believed to be the first city. The main site where the unusual artefacts were discovered is called Tell Al’Ubaid – although figurines were also found in Ur and Eridu.
The Al’Ubaid site is a small mound of about half a kilometre in diametre and two meters above ground. The site was first excavated by Harry Reginald Hal in 1919. Male and female figurines were found in different postures and in most of the figurines, they appear to be wearing a helmet and have some kind of padding on the shoulders. Other figurines were found to hold a staff or sceptre, possibly as a symbol of justice and ruling. Each figurine has a different pose but the strangest of all is that some female figurines hold babies suckling milk, with the child also represented as a lizard-type creature.
The figurines are presented with long heads, almond shaped eyes, long tapered faces and a lizard-type nose. What exactly they represent is completely unknown. According to archaeologists, their postures, such as a female figure breast-feeding, do not suggest that they were ritualistic objects. So what did these lizard figures represent? Whatever they were, they appear to have been important to the ancient Ubaidian people. We know that the Serpent was a major symbol used in many societies to represent a number of gods, for example, the Sumerian god Enki, and the snake was used later on as the symbol for the brotherhood of the Snake, as William Bramley discusses.
Is there a link between the symbol of the snake and the representations of lizards? For now, these questions remain unanswered.

CEBU, Philippines – At least 14 students of Toong Integrated School in the mountain barangay of Toong, Cebu City were allegedly possessed by evil spirits yesterday noon.
Most of the affected students were brought to Msgr. Frederick Kriekenbeek, who is known to perform exorcism, at the Mary’s Little Children Community in Tabunok, Talisay City.
Barangay Toong councilman Milven Bacalso said 12 students, mostly high school, were brought to Kriekenbeek upon the advice of the parish priest of the nearby Buhisan Shrine.
“Nagsugod ni mga ala una sa hapon. Naay usa nagsugod ug kasudlan dayon nagtakod-takod na. Una namong gitawag ang pari sa Buhisan Shrine pero ingon siya di niya kaya ang sitwasyon. Siya maoy nag suggest nga adto namo dad-on kang Msgr. Kriekenbeek,” Bacalso told The Freeman.
Members of the Cebu City Quick Response Team were immediately dispatched and helped transport the students to Talisay City for spiritual intervention.
They arrived at the spiritual center past 3 p.m. and prayers were immediately done to calm the students.
Msgr. Joseph Tan, spokesperson of the Archdiocese of Cebu, emphasized the importance of prayer as the armor against evil.
“For those directly concerned in supernatural phenomenon that suggests diabolical possessions, it is important to bring them to priests for blessing and prayer. Taking them to Msgr. Fred is a very positive move as he is experienced in healing and deli-verance prayer,” Tan told The Freeman.
He then referred to an old practice which is considered shield from negative energies.
“As a traditional practice, holy water is used in defense from the devil. This is to bless themselves and protect from sorts of evil. This is not implying something magical but more of calling upon God’s protection,” Tan continued.
He reminded the parents to guide their children especially with the things they read and watch.
“It is very important for parents to exercise caution, for them to monitor their children on the things that they read and watch. It could start from simply reading about their in books or watching videos online but could reach to the point of them practi-cing rituals or something like that. It is not uncommon for the young to be curious on these things. But these are not intended for them as this can trigger and become portal for evil to enter. We don’t encourage that children watch or read these without adult supervision,” he added.
Apart from spiritual steps, the archdiocesan spokesperson suggested seeking medical explanation, stressing the need to exhaust possible assessment on the situation.
“A medical doctor has to also check on these children to see if there is a need for their intervention,” said Tan.
But Councilor Dave Tumulak, chairperson of the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, said the supposed demonic possession could just be a mass hysteria.
“In my personal assessment after going to the site, this is mass hysteria. One student claimed to have seen a little child, panicked and fainted. Those who helped said they saw the same and likewise fainted. Nagkatag-katag na until it became mass hysteria,” Tumulak told The Freeman.
Upon reaching Barangay Toong, Tumulak saw that even teachers and parents were panicking so he conducted a debriefing and discussed mass hysteria and how to deal with the situation.
“I lectured them on the importance of presence of mind and making sure the children and even adults in panic do not sustain injury. The parish priest of Buhisan also led the community in a prayer. They did the rosary,” Tumulak said.
The medical team along with the councilor had checked on the students and found that their vital signs were normal. Immediately after the hysteria, their pulse rates were high which was understandable, Tumulak added.
A Mass will be held today inside the school campus. The debriefing will also continue.
According to Tumulak, he will make use of the opportunity – when parents and guardians of the students will be around today because of the scheduled distribution of cards – to conduct lecture on mass hysteria. – PhilStar
A rare and elusive species of deep-sea fish has been captured on camera off the coast of California.
With its pitch black skin, a mouth full of sharp teeth and a face that wouldn’t look amiss in a horror movie, the appropriately named black seadevil is rarely seen despite its distinctive appearance.
Typically found in temperate waters, the fish lures in its prey using a unique luminescent ‘fishing pole’ that dangles above its head.
Now a research time diving in Monterey Bay has managed to capture this bizarre species on film for the first time.
“We’ve been diving out here in the Monterey Canyon regularly for 25 years, and we’ve seen three,” said MBARI Senior Scientist Bruce Robinson. The team even managed to catch the creature for further study however it isn’t clear how long it will survive.
Thomas Beatie, the transgender man who gave birth after beginning to change from a woman to a man, is accused of stalking his estranged wife.
Beatie, 40, who lives in Anthem, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of stalking. He was released on his own recognizance Thursday night.
Beatie is accused of putting a GPS tracking device on his wife’s car in October of 2012, about six months after he served his wife with an order of protection that required her to leave the couple’s home.
The device was found by an Arizona Department of Public Safety officer when he stopped to help the victim change a flat tire, according to an officer’s probable cause statement.
Phoenix police said the victim, who was identified in the statement as Beatie’s spouse, Nancy Beatie, said she believed it was Thomas Beatie who put the GPS device on her car. She claimed Beatie would randomly show up wherever she was at the time, would mention places she had been and questioned her about times that she returned home.
Investigators said Thomas Beatie admitted to installing the device, monitoring it online and recharging the battery whenever it was low on power.
Thomas Beatie was denied a divorce in March 2013 by Maricopa County Family Court Judge Douglas Gerlach because at the time Arizona’s ban on same-sex marriages prevented the union from being recognized as valid.
Thomas Beatie was born a woman and underwent a double-mastectomy but retained female reproductive organs and gave birth to three children.
Gerlach said he had no jurisdiction to approve a divorce because there was insufficient evidence that Thomas Beatie was male when he married Nancy Beatie in 2003 in Hawaii.
He made headlines across the world as the “pregnant man” and appeared on magazine covers and was on several talk shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show. – WTVR
More mysterious fires in Nigeria…170+ houses destroyed
The mysterious fire, that has burnt over 164 houses in Soro in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, seems not in a hurry to stop as it has shifted to Darazo, the headquarters of Darazo LGA.
The acting district head of Soro, Alhaji Muhammad Kilishi, had last week informed that a mysterious fire outbreak had hit the town, razing more than 100 houses with property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
According to him, no one knew the cause of the fire outbreak, which started in October, saying that people only discovered that fire would come from nowhere and gut houses. No life was lost to the fire outbreak.
He ascribed the mysterious fire outbreak, which he said was abnormal, to a spiritual attack on the town.
The Nigerian Tribune gathered on Tuesday night, in Bauchi, that the mysterious fire broke out on Monday in Darazo, a distance of about 35 kilometres to Soro.
Sources informed that between Monday and Tuesday, nine houses were gutted in Darazo, adding that no one knew the causes of the fire incident.
As of the time of filing this report, no life was lost to the fire, though property worth millions of Naira were said to have been destroyed in the incident.
Confirming the fire outbreak in a statement made available to journalists in Bauchi, the Bauchi State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Haruna Mohammed, stated that nine houses were burnt down in Darazo between Monday and Tuesday.
According to the police spokesman, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), “Between yesterday 17/11/2014 and today 18/11/2014, over 9 houses were burnt down by mysterious fire in Darazo town of Darazo LGA of Bauchi and cause of fire is still unknown.
“However, no life was lost and the value of property destroyed, is yet to be ascertained.You may also recall that over 164 houses were razed down mysteriously in Soro town within one month.”
The PPRO, however, stated that investigation into the matter was in progress. – Tribune
Experts still divided over mysterious 1,300-year-old fortress-like structure located on island in middle of lake.
With its island location and towering square walls that were once impenetrable, it looks at first glance to be an ancient fortress or kremlin to keep out enemies. Others believe the 1,300-year-old structure in rural Siberia has more mystical properties and might have been a summer palace, monastery, or even an astronomical observatory.
Whatever it is, more than a century after it was first explored, archaeologists are no further forward in discovering the secrets of Por-Bajin, who built it or why.
Most likely constructed in 757 AD, the complex has fascinated and frustrated experts in equal measure since it was located in the middle Tere-Khol, a high-altitude lake in Tuva, in the late 19th century.
First explored in 1891, with small-scale excavation work later carried out between 1957 and 1963, it was not until 2007 that proper research took place at the site.

An unidentified flying object (UFO) tailed a passenger plane belonging to GOL Airlines during its regular service between Navegantes (Santa Catarina) to Guarulhos (Sao Paulo). The phenomenon was seen by a passenger, businessman Julio Belli, of Sao Jose dos Campos (SP) as he observed the skyscape. Equipped with his camera, he managed to take shots of the object, which emitted a bright light, even on a completely clear day. The event occurred early in the afternoon, around 13:00 hours on Tuesday, 18 November 2014.
UFO Follows a GOL Airliner Tuesday Afternoon Off Santa Catarina By Julio Ottoboni
The event started when he looked through the window and saw a light flying far too low, at sea level. Shortly after, the same object appeared to be slightly higher than the Boeing B737-700 and was on the horizon for a few minutes. The time elapsed between the sighting and the photographs was between two or three minutes at most.

“We took off at 12:40 hours and it was around 13:12 that I saw the object. I took the camera and managed to take a few photos. Since the plane was empty, I went to the other side and I also had the same bright object following us, so I took more photos. I was worried that it might be a reflection on the window or the camera lens, so I repeated the same shot several times and nothing resembling that luminous form appeared,” Belli said.
Aside from being very bright, they had a darker color on either end, orange in color. The object also changed colors several times during the time it was visible to the airliner’s passengers. The businessman approached the fight crew and told them what was going on.
“One of them said that they’d seen objects of this same kind in the Amazon Rainforest and over Manaus, where it occurs more frequently,” added Belli.
The aircraft’s altitude at the time was between 8,000 to 10,000 meters. Despite the phenomenon’s startling nature, Belli does not dismiss the possibility that it could have been a weather balloon. The only problem is the fact that there were *two* objects, one on either side of the airliner, following the craft and vanishing and reappearing on the horizon in very brief periods of time. Both objects vanished without a trace.

Een deel van een beeldje, gevonden op een duizenden jaren oude begraafplaats van indianen, in de vorm van een buitenaards uitziend gezicht.

Ik heb geen UFO te melden maar wel iets bijzonders.
Wellicht weet u dat er in de pre Colombiaanse tijd in Costa Rica verschillende indianen stammen leefden. Zij worden ook wel gezien als de “makers”; van de nog steeds mysterieuze 2000 jaar oude bollen.
Nu is het zo dat ik net terug ben na drie maanden verblijf in Costa Rica. Ik heb daar bij vrienden gelogeerd en veel van de plaatselijke cultuur en history meegekregen.
Een van deze jongens heeft een oom die een stuk grond heeft in een van de vele oerwouden. Toen ik daar op bezoek was kwam ik erachter dat hij werkelijk midden op een indiaanse begraafplaats woont, 2000 tot 2500 jaar oud.
Er werden mij diverse voorwerpen getoond die hij daar opgegraven had tijdens werkzaamheden. Van 1 bepaald voorwerp was ik nogal overdonderd. Een hoofdje dat ooit onderdeel is geweest van een groter beeldje.
De meeste hoofdjes die ik zag hadden duidelijk een menselijke afbeelding. Echter een beeldje was totaal afwijkend. Ik was zo overdonderd en enthousiast dat ik uiteindelijk het hoofdje cadeau heb gekregen.
De oude indianen schreven over het vorm geven van de bollen door een door aliens verkregen middel. Wat ziet u als u dit kopje ziet?
Dit is geen mensenhoofd, het is meer dan 2000 jaar oud en het komt van een oude indiaanse stam die beweert contact gehad te hebben met aliens.
Ik heb het hoofdje in mijn bezit en desgewenst is het beschikbaar voor onderzoek. (Redactie: zijn er mensen die dit kunnen en leuk vinden?)
Het is volgens de mensen daar gemaakt uit klei maar daar ben ik niet van overtuigd. Ik dacht eerst dat het uit steen gehouwen was. Oordeel zelf.
De indruk bestaat dat steeds meer mensen naar de lucht beginnen te kijken.
Steeds vaker blijkt dat er meer te zien is dan menigeen denkt.
Zo kregen wij enkele dagen geleden een prachtige opname toegestuurd van een lezer (dank) waarop een UFO te zien is boven Alphen aan den Rijn.
De dame die de opname opstuurde, schrijft onder andere:
Mijn zoon heeft het gisteren gefilmd tijdens zijn werk in Alphen aan den Rijn. Hij heeft dit rond 11 u in de ochtend gefilmd,dus op vrijdag 21-11-2014 om 11 u 's morgens.
Hij vond t ook raar en dacht ook gelijk aan een ufo of een drone. Hij weet dat ik altijd in de lucht staar om ufo's te spotten en gelukkig heeft hij dit filmpje dan ook naar mij gestuurd en mij toestemming gegeven om het aan jullie te laten zien.
Het lijkt er sterk op dat dit soort UFO's verkenningswerkzaamheden uitvoeren.
Bij deze willen we heel Nederland en België oproepen om goed naar de lucht te kijken, waar mogelijk foto- en/of video-opnames te maken van vreemde objecten in de lucht en deze ons toe te sturen.
Hoe meer foto- en videomateriaal des te dichter komen wij misschien bij het ontrafelen van het geheim van de witte/oranje bollen en uiteraard de daarbij behorende moederschepen of dimensieportalen.

Roswell Slides Saga Involved Email Hacks and Surveillance, Community Member Claims
Ross, a commenter at the 'UFO Conjecture(s)' blog, stated today in an email exchange with 'The UFO Trail' that his email and the accounts of some high profile UFO-researchers were hacked in relation to the alleged Roswell slides. Ross further stated that he believed "a three letter agency" was responsible.
Ross stated that he assumed he was initially targeted due to his involvement in email exchanges about the slides.He first got involved in the saga, he indicated, about 18 months ago through reading 'UFO Conjecture(s)' and exchanging emails with its author, Rich Reynolds.
"The 'hacking' thing involved Tony Bragalia, Rich Reynolds, Nick Redfern and myself," Ross wrote.
"Based on the resources required to do what I think they were doing; intercepting our comms as opposed to just 'hacking' and just the way things transpired I'm of the opinion this was a three letter agency," he added.
The party responsible for compromising the emails was obviously interested in the slides, Ross explained, and generally caused disruption.
"My instinct was that whoever we were dealing with had a sophisticated operation behind them," Ross wrote, "and figured I may as well try communicating to see what they have to say (the hacker used various safe-mail accounts to interact with us)."
Ross continued, "The first response I received to a communication I had initiated was a list of emails which were mostly discussions about the slides, but there was some unrelated material there (which I discarded). This was obviously the hacker wanting to let me know the extent of the surveillance. There was a lot of smoke and mirrors, but overall the story was that these slides were of interest to certain three letter agencies. There were offers of money, a sit down meeting with someone fully briefed in what the government really knows about UFOs, and even the opportunity to see for real what the slides supposedly depict. All these offers were related to my acting as a conduit to arrange a meeting between the people handling the slides and the party/parties doing the 'hacking'. This wasn't something I was in a position to set up not being in contact with or on good terms with the people involved."
Ross alleged that further intrusions involved telephone disruptions, explaining, "I got some strange calls and some even stranger interruptions into calls I was making. It would be things like 'have you considered our offer', 'we can help each other', that kind of thing. I had kept that part quiet because people just tend to write people who say stuff like that off as loons."
The events unfolded "over the last few months," subsiding in the last six weeks or so. Ross interpreted that computer experts and the FBI were alerted to the circumstances but investigations resulted in "dead ends".
"It was clear to me that what they were engaged in was a labor, it wasn't recreational, it was a case of this is how we do this and it has to be done. For example, 'these issues crop up from time to time and it is important that we deal with them so they can be managed in a way consistent with established practices', which was an answer as to what was with all the smoke and mirrors and bullshit riddles."
"I think the goal was to spook people," Ross concluded, "to derail the slides investigation and to attempt to recruit people into a conspiracy with the ultimate goal of securing the slide material on their behalf."
Prior to the email exchange with Ross, attempts were made to obtain comments from writer/researcher Thomas Carey about his statements about the slides during his recent appearance at American University. Carey was emailed Nov. 13 and permission was requested to submit a few questions, to which Carey replied the same day, "Sure."
The questions, which included inquiries about what evidence he felt existed that directly linked the alleged slides to Roswell and what he would say to critics that assert the slides only contain images of unknown circumstances that cannot be conclusively demonstrated to involve an ET life form, were emailed Nov. 14. After receiving no responses, a reminder that his comments would be appreciated was sent Nov. 18. As of this post, no further emails have been received from Carey.

Tom Carey, een onderzoeker naar ufo's en buitenaardse wezens, claimt een authentieke foto te hebben van een alien waar autopsie op wordt uitgevoerd in het geheime gebied Area 51. Volgens de Daily Mirror is inmiddels bevestigd dat de film, waarmee de foto gemaakt is, dateert uit 1947. Dit is hetzelfde jaar waarin de beroemde 'Roswellcrash' plaatsvond in New Mexico.
De Roswellcrash, ook het Rosswellincident genoemd, staat bekend als het beroemdste ufo-incident ooit. Op 8 juli 1947 zou een zogenaamde vliegende schotel zijn neergestort en zouden er meerdere buitenaardse lijken geborgen zijn. Ondanks dat eerst bekend werd gemaakt dat het om een buitenaards object zou gaan, werd dit bericht later afgezwakt tot het verhaal dat er een weerballon neergestort zou zijn. Hierna werd het dertig jaar lang stil, tot enkele officieren van het Amerikaanse leger alsnog claimden dat er sprake was van een buitenaards object dat ter aarde was gestort.
Onderzoek In de loop der jaren zijn er meerdere foto's uitgelekt van vermeende aliens. In het meest recente geval zou het om een authentieke foto gaan waarbij autopsie wordt uitgevoerd op een buitenaards wezen. Tom Carey, de eigenaar van de foto's, heeft de beelden inmiddels laten onderzoeken door de historicus van filmgigant Kodak. Daar kreeg hij de bevestiging: de film waarmee de beelden zijn geschoten komen inderdaad uit 1947. De samenstelling van de foto zou er op duiden dat het gaat om een originele foto, waar niet mee is gerotzooid via Photoshop.
Volgens Carey is op de foto te zien dat de alien gedeeltelijk is onderzocht. Zo zouden de ingewanden zijn verwijderd en het kadaver gebalsemd zijn.

In Airbus' patent design I observe an aircraft with circular features and "no" tailpiece. This "new" jumbo jet design reminded me of what retired Belgian Air Force Major General Wilfried De Brouwer had said in a coverage dealing with UFOs and The Belgian UFO Wave, which was aired on February 25, 2010 on national television. At approximately 05:47 Wilfried De Brouwer talks about an eyewitness -- an employee at NATO -- who had seen a strange object hanging above his house one morning. This witness likened this object to a jumbo jet without a tailpiece.
This NATO employee was afraid to relate his strange sighting with anyone, not even with his wife because it was something so unbelievable what he had witnessed that he was afraid that he would be subjected to ridicule. Wilfried De Brouwer also discussed a sighting of a triangular-shaped object witnessed by a Belgian Air Force meteorologist and his son while walking one evening. This witness made a detailed sketch of the object. I assume most of you have been aware that aircraft with "no" tailpiece are no "anomaly" in yesterday's and today's aviation, like e.g. Horten's 1940s flying wings, Avro Canada's 1950s failed VZ-9 Avrocar, Lockheed's F117 Nighthawk, Northrop Grumman's B-2 Spirit, unmanned drones, etc.
Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is hoping to patent a new plane that looks more like a doughnut or flying saucer than the usual cylinder-shaped passenger plane.
The France-based company filed a patent application at the end of October for a new type of aircraft, structured to limit the strain of cabin pressurization. The design also offers space for more passengers, who will sit in a 360 degree cabin, rather like an amphitheater.
In the U.S. patent application, citing the investors as Patrick Lieven, Romain Delahaye and Catalin Perju, Airbus said that the usual "cylindrical geometry" of aircraft increased pressure at the front and back of planes and limited passenger-carrying capacity.
"The purpose of the invention is particularly to provide a simple, economic and efficient solution to these problems to at least partially overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages," the filing said.
"The invention allows structure to be more resistant to loads induced by cabin pressurization, while allowing to reduce or even avoid the need for a sealed bottom, and while allowing to increase the space available for passengers."
The passenger cabin's circular shape means the plane would have curved rather than straight aisles. Diagrams in the patent application show passengers boardingand departing the plane using escalators that takes them into the center of the aircraft—which resembles the hole in the middle of a doughnut.
It's not the first time Airbus— owned by aerospace giant Airbus Group—has patented radical ideas. In December 2013, Airbus patented a somewhat uncomfortable-looking "bicycle seat" design for economy class passengers. In August 2014, it applied to patent a virtual reality helmet for passengers.
However, aircraft enthusiasts shouldn't get too excited about the latest idea out ofAirbus. The company told the "Financial Times"that the new doughnut design was "not something that's currently under active development."

Er zijn tegenwoordig steeds minder meldingen van ufo's en ook fanaten van vliegende schotels moeten toegeven dat ze beginnen te twijfelen aan buitenaards leven.
Al tientallen jaren houden ufo-watchers het luchtruim voor ons in de gaten. Maar na al die tijd hebben ze nog geen bewijzen gevonden. Bovendien worden er steeds minder ufo's gezien en dat kan de komende jaren tot het einde van een hype leiden, stellen Britse 'ufo-kenners'. Volgende week organiseert één van de grootste organisaties in het onderzoek van ufo's een bijeenkomst om te bespreken of ze nog wel een toekomst hebben.
"Het is best mogelijk dat over tien jaar niemand nog over ufo's spreekt", zegt Dave Wood, voorzitter van de 'Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena' (Assap). "Het gebrek aan bewijzen doet ons vaststellen dat er niets is daarbuiten. Ik denk dat iedere ufo-onderzoeker zal zeggen dat 98 procent van de vaststellingen eenvoudig te verklaren zijn." Dat het aantal meldingen afneemt, is heel verrassend in deze tijd van het internet. Bij Assap is het aantal ufo-zaken sinds 1988 met liefst 96 procent gedaald. Natuurlijk impliceert het gebrek aan ufo's niet noodzakelijk dat er geen buitenaards leven mogelijk is.
Oud nieuws Veel van de verhalen die ufo-organisaties vandaag onderzoeken, zijn meldingen van tientallen jaren geleden. Zo is een incident in Roswell in 1947 nog steeds een populair onderwerp. Toen zou een buitenaards ruimteschip in New Mexico gecrasht zijn. "Op ufo-conferenties praten mensen hoofdzakelijk over oude gevallen. Ze brengen zelden nieuwe verhalen aan." Eerder dit jaar heeft het Britse ministerie van Defensie aangekondigd dat ze bij gebrek aan bewijzen niet langer onderzoek naar ufo's voeren en dat er geen bedreiging is voor het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
David Clark, ufo-adviseur van het Nationaal Archief, stelt dat het een dood onderwerp is. "Iedereen beschikt tegenwoordig over een camera. Als er echt dingen zouden rondvliegen, zouden we nu toch over duidelijk bewijsmateriaal moeten beschikken." Vroeger moesten mensen brieven sturen en werd het mysterie versterkt door gebrek aan antwoorden, stelt Clark. Tegenwoordig wordt alles door het internet meteen verklaard of weerlegd.
Ook Nick Pope, van 1991 tot 1994 voorzitter van de UFO desk op het Britse ministerie van Defensie, geeft toe dat er veel vals materiaal op websites als YouTube circuleert. Toch wil hij het onderwerp niet zomaar over boord gooien. "Er zijn vandaag zoveel meldingen toe te schrijven aan Chinese lantaarns dat we de interessante gevallen uit het oog dreigen te verliezen", zegt hij. "Of zoals ik vroeger op het ministerie altijd stelde: de gelovigen hoeven maar één keer gelijk te krijgen."
België Ook in ons land bestaat er een meldpunt voor wie denkt een ufo te hebben gezien. Oprichter Frederick Delaere stelt een andere trend vast dan in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Hoewel zijn meldpunt nog maar sinds 2007 bestaat, kreeg hij toch al 1.058 meldingen binnen. Ieder jaar blijft dat aantal groeien. "We moeten toegeven dat een deel van deze meldingen te weinig bruikbare informatie bevat voor verder onderzoek", zegt hij. "We gaan daarom het meldingsformulier aanpassen, waardoor getuigen genoodzaakt zullen zijn ons van meer bruikbare informatie te voorzien."
Het meldpunt werkt samen met sterrenwachten en meteorologische instanties. Naast de archivering van alle meldingen probeert de organisatie ook logische verklaringen te zoeken. "We zijn geen voorstanders van de buitenaardse hypothese, die jammerlijk genoeg vaak in verband wordt gebracht met dergelijke waarnemingen. Het promoten van zo'n theorieën brengt veel schade aan het kritisch en wetenschappelijk onderzoek van dit fenomeen toe."
De Amerikaanse inlichtingendienst CIA heeft enkele documenten openbaar gemaakt die een kleine inkijk gunnen in het reilen en zeilen op Area 51, een van de meest mysterieuze militaire basissen ter wereld. In het gebied werden jarenlang spionagevliegtuigen ontwikkeld en getest door de CIA.
Area 51 ligt in de Nevadawoestijn boven Las Vegas en zou een neergestorte ufo of, minstens, een overleden alien herbergen. In 1947 zou in Roswell een ufo zijn gecrasht die volgens de overlevering naar Area 51 werd gebracht. Daarvan is in het 355 pagina's tellende CIA-rapport niets terug te vinden. Er is wel te lezen dat de basis diende als testcentrum voor de spionage- en verkenningsvliegtuigen U-2 en U-12 in de jaren vijftig en zestig.
De U-2 was een licht éénmotorig vliegtuig, dat uitgerust was met spionagecamera's. Ze deden het werk dat 'drones' vandaag doen. De ontwerpers van de U-2 moesten, aldus het rapport, oplossingen zien te verzinnen voor de brandstofcapaciteit en het gewicht van het vliegtuigje: het moest ver genoeg kunnen geraken, maar toch licht genoeg zijn om ultrahoog (meer dan 20 kilometer) te kunnen vliegen, zodat het niet onderschept zou worden.
Daarom werden de staart, vleugels en het landingsgestel van het vliegtuig anders geconstrueerd. Dat maakte van de U-2 niet alleen een toestel dat zeer gevoelig was in besturing en handelbaarheid, maar ook een toestel met heel kleine foutmarges. Dat zorgde in de jaren '50 voor enkele ongevallen.
Vanuit lijnvliegtuigen konden de zilveren vleugels van de veel hoger vliegende U-2 gemakkelijk beschouwd worden als 'vurige objecten', aldus het rapport. Wat dan de vele ufo-meldingen zou kunnen verklaren.
De documenten werden gepubliceerd op vraag van Jeffrey T. Richelson van de National Security Archives, die onderzoek doet naar de Amerikaanse bewaking van het luchtruim. Het is de eerste keer dat de Amerikaanse overheid dergelijke informatie vrijgeeft over de basis.
Robert Hastings, the author of UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites, says he has amassed over 150 interviews with military veterans from both the US and USSR that have witnessed UFO events at nuclear weapons sites. In 2010, he brought several of these witnesses to the National Press Club in Washington D.C. to share their stories with the media. The event was streamed live by CNN. Now, Hastings wants to feature his research in a documentary, and he is asking for your help to complete it.

Hastings wrote on his website that the $100k budget for the documentary has been spent, and that he needs another $25k to finish it.
I emailed Hastings some questions about the film and why he thinks the project is so important. He says his UFO research stands apart from the rest because, “I am the only researcher who has focused on this type of UFO activity. My data base of nukes-related UFO incidents far exceeds that of any other investigator. That will come through in the film.”
He continued:
The existence and threatened use of nuclear weapons has shaped the modern world. For the first time in human history, we possess weapons which would–if used en masse–destroy civilization, as well as poison the planetary environment with radiation. The Cold War, between the US and the USSR and their allies, was the central feature in international relations for more than 50 years.
Intriguingly, as the result of American and Soviet documents being declassified, or stolen, we now know that a still unidentified outside third party, possessing vastly superior aerial craft, monitored and even disrupted the nuclear missiles operated by both superpowers during that tense era.
Moreover, evidence provided by US military personnel suggests that this startling, perhaps ominous UFO activity continues to occur to the present day.
This obviously makes the UFO phenomenon a front page story, even though the US government continues to deny its reality and the mainstream media continues to routinely report these official lies as fact.
My film examines intermittent but ongoing UFO incursions at nuclear weapons sites from the late 1940s to 2010, and is based on declassified American and stolen Soviet documents, as well as the testimony of military veterans from both the US and the USSR. Over the past 41 years, I have interview more than 150 of the former, of which twelve appear in the film.
Hastings stresses the high level of credibility these witnesses have in particular. He says, ” These are persons that the American government trusted to launch World War III, if it had come to that, by launching their nuclear ICBMs. Now, scores of those same veterans are coming forward and stating that UFOs have long monitored and even shut down those missiles.”
Hastings’ website includes an excerpt from the movie with some incredible testimony from several of the witnesses he referred to. One story in the clip is told by former US Air Force Captain Jay Earnshaw, who while stationed at Warren Air Force Base in 1965, received a call from flight control about a remarkable UFO sighting.
Earnshaw says, “He had observed, along with the rest of his response team members, what looked like five to six oblong lights stacked on top of one another just outside the gate.”
The objects did not shoot down a beam or move aggressively. Earnshaw says, “They simply were there stacked up.”
According to Earnshaw, all of the paperwork on this sighting disappeared. You can watch the clip below.

Mutual UFO Network case number 61414 features a November 15, 2014 report from an unidentified man who saw large bright orbs together with his wife as they moved across the sky in succession. The report says if a jet plane was the size of an ant; the glowing orange spheres looked like the size of a penny. Found at around 1:15 a.m. over a Duxbury, Massachusetts home on November 8, the UFO travelled from west to east across the horizon and disappeared.
The wife first noticed an unusual light in the sky while lying in bed and reading. She then alerted her husband upon thinking that she spotted a UFO. The orb seemed to move in a tremendous speed, about twice the speed of an airplane. It also maintained a consistent flight pattern while moving at lower altitude than a typical aircraft.
The couple failed to see any features of the object, and they only managed to see a dazzling orange orb. The husband claimed to be familiar with Chinese lanterns, and he is certain that the object was not a lantern. He reported that the object maintained an uniform speed and its brightness and color did not change. He further explained that the orb did not produce a trail or halo and moved silently.
As soon as the orb was out of sight or disappeared on the eastern horizon, another similar ball appeared in the western side and went the same flight path across the sky. The second orb also vanished at the eastern horizon. Four identical lights observed by the couple travelling to the opposite horizon and disappeared.
The couple admits they don’t have an idea about what the objects’ true identity, but they are confident that the strange orbs were not Chinese lanterns. They reported that the objects did not resemble any known aircraft. These objects moved too slowly to be considered as stars or comets. However, the couple did not manage to take UFO photos as they were amazed watching the mysterious sky activity to think about getting a camera and capturing the event on photos.

Tillamook Oregon (above Magnolia Dr) – November 17th 2014 On the night of November 17th @ 6:20pm my husband and I both witnessed a massive triangle shaped craft flying over head. I first noticed the tail end lights as I was driving south on Brickyard rd, toward our home. The Bright red lights immediately caught my attention, because of how far apart they were. There is a small landing strip near by, but I have never seen anything that large in the area before. When I exited the car, my husband was already outside, he had been waiting for me to return home from work. He had also seen the object, and he too was mesmerized. The object had to be about the length of a football field and about 50 yards in diameter. It made no sound as it flew by. Because of the clear evening we were able to observe it for about five minutes. It was flying very slow. It had a few smaller lights at the nose end. They did not blink like normal air craft markers. I am really hoping others got to experience this.

Toronto, Ontario Canada. Kew beach – November 15/ 2014 Saturday November 15, a friend and I were walking along the boardwalk in the beach neighborhood of Toronto Ontario. I spotted 2 bright orange triangular lights slowly approaching from the north east. My friend, unlike myself, is a non believer. We stood and watched as the objects came closer. She became very frightened and began quickly walking away. I stayed and watched as both objects seem to stop over top of us, just slightly over lake Ontario. I asked her to watch and she came back. The objects were silent. She said she felt as if they were watched us, I felt the same. I was too awestruck to even think about pulling my phone out and recording it. All of a sudden, one of the crafts took off and it seemed to go straight up at an unreal speed. About a minute later, the second sped off in the same manner as the first. The whole time the crafts were completely silent, even when they blasted into open space.

Calgary, Canada – November 2014 This is my second UFO sighting in the past two months. It was around 7:30pm in se Calgary ab. I looked out my sons bedroom window and a minute later saw a bright set of lights shooting very quickly across the sky. It moved extremely fast and made no noise of any kind. After it flew by i witnessed a singular light hovering a little ways off before it completely dissppeared as if it had been turned off. We tend to get a lot of airplanes in our area and this was NOTHING like that.
It’s an American institution that doesn’t seek earning, looking into Unidentified Flying Object witnessing experiences. Walter H. Andrus, Allen Utke, John Schuessler among others had built it on May 31, 1969 in Quincy Illinois. Thus, it’s one of the most ancient and biggest non combative UFO examining institutions in the US.

1) Look into UFO witness observations and amass the information into MUFON index so that researchers use them all over the world.
2) Enlighten people on the prevalence of UFO and their impact on a given population.
3. Staff and Requirements:
1) Staff:
The intuition has in excess of 1500 representatives around the globe; most of them are located in the US. MUFON network organizes a yearly convention and circulates the MUFON UFO Journal month to month. Out of the 1500, 75 are on the field examiners along with special units to look into real organic proof of space being objects.
2) Requirements:
Even though the participants don’t get any money, participants need to study a 265 page handbook and a do background check.
3) How does MUFON analyze an incident?
MUFON gets a lead through connection with local officials and media along with e-mail from base operation. Next the state director hires one or two on field analyzers from the area where the incident took place. They ask questions to people, who saw the UFO, take notes and do drawings to re-visualize the sighting and look into how it’s affected the surroundings. Further interviews with police and neighbors lead to finding of more eyewitnesses. Afterward, the analyzers provide a written interpretation of the whole sighting so the state director can scrutinize it. Furthermore, if there is physical evidence such as pictures or soil samples, expert in those fields look into them. Lastly, all the information is gathered into a directory for comparative study. Consequently, they get more understanding of UFO activities.
4) MUFON and Blue Book
Project Blue Book was looking into UFOs in Middle America during the 1960s at the University of Colorado. However, the US government had dispersed them in 1969. At the same time, Ariel Phenomenon Research Organization was looking into UFO movements on the US west coast at Berkley University. In order to capitalize on Blue Book’s demise and expand their power, ARPO established a new institution named The Midwest UFO Network to look into UFO cases. Since then, it’s been the largest institution and has operations all over the globe.
5) How to become part of MUFON or address a personal UFO experience?
In order to become on the field analyzer for MUFON, one has to join the institution and pay small amount of money, let the state director know of their willingness to join and pass a written test. Afterwards, the applicant teams up with an experienced analyst to get more instructions. If a witness had seen a UFO, they can let the local MUFON office know of their experience through MUFON website.

UFO enthusiasts have been intrigued with the secrecy of Area 51 for decades, but the speculation of aliens and UFOs in the secret facility has widely written off as a case of mistaken identity.
UFO expert Tom Carey says stories of aliens at Area 51 are true as he received the original Kodachrome slides of aliens that look like an insect. The slides were apparently taken after an autopsy of an alien, which was performed by the U.S. government in 1947. A woman reportedly sent Carey the images of aliens from the Roswell incident. This woman, according to Carey, was involved in the U.S. intelligence agency.
Carey claims he contacted Kodak historians to ensure the authenticity of the pictures. An apparent alien body can be seen on the Kodachrome color slides, according to Carey. He says that the slides were verified by an official Kodak historian as unaltered 1947 Kodachrome.
According to Carey, there’s an apparent difference between previously disclosed photos or videos of aliens from Area 51 and his photos.
Carey says the aliens in his photos are three to four feet tall. They have insect-like heads with body that likely underwent autopsies. He explains that innards can be seen in the photos. Carey plans to release the images early next year together with his findings.
Carey spent over 20 years researching Area 51 and has contributed or written over 40 articles concerning Roswell Incident. He has also published several books on UFOs, according to UFO Festival. Carey is a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master in Anthropology, and a Doctor in Anthropology.
During his stint in the Air Force, he held top secret clearance in the military. Carey was involved in the Mutual UFO Network as Southern Pennsylvania State Section Director. He was also a member of the Board of Directors and a special investigator for the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) of J. Allen Hynek.
