Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

Boomerang UFO Zigzags Over NH
UFO sightings don't always get media attention immediately after they occur. When they do, however, those stories are often packed with surprises, even for an old man like me, who has been reporting on these things for decades.
I have written about pilots, for example, who rarely speak out about UFO encounters out of fear of ridicule. After all, who wants to fly with a pilot who "sees things" in the sky? That's a career killer.
That's just one reason timing isn't all that important in my line of work. The real question is the evidence, and that largely comes down to a witness's credibility.
Is there a photograph or a video? Can that account be corroborated? If the answer to either of those questions is yes, it doesn't matter if the sighting was a week ago or a year ago. Suddenly, it's an unexplained phenomena.
I recently stumbled upon such a story. And it began with a personal surprise.
The UFO part of the tale started around 8 p.m. on Oct. 5. In the rural north end of Concord, New Hampshire, Ben Speigel was hanging around with a neighborhood friend when something caught their attention in the distance above some trees.
As it turns out, 15-year-old Speigel is my nephew. While I was in New Hampshire earlier this month, he casually mentioned that he may have seen a UFO in October. When I asked him to describe it, he did better than that. He showed me a picture he took of the thing. And that got me real interested.
"We saw what looked like a bright orb in the sky and something that we thought was a helicopter seemed to be following it," Ben told me.
"We didn't know what it was and I took a picture of it on my iPod. When I zoomed in, we could see that it was a V-shape. It was probably as bright as when you look at a plane that blinks, but this wasn't blinking. There was a red light blinking on and off [some distance away from the object] and that's what made us think it was a helicopter."
Ben (pictured at left) was struck by how odd this thing moved.
"It was zigzagging across the sky, not fast, but it kept going back and forth. It made a turn and went up and then down and then back and forth again. As it was circling around, it went up and circled again. The object just finally disappeared behind the trees (shown below) and we didn't see it anymore. The whole sighting lasted about five minutes."
After telling me the story, Ben and I sat at the computer to see if anyone else in Concord or other town may have reported the same object. We found one other account.
An hour after Ben's sighting, and 30 miles south in Nashua, New Hampshire, a family traveling in their car, en route to their home, saw a boomerang-shaped object, with three white bright lights and two smaller, amber colored-lights on the bottom of it.
"We were heading west toward the Everett Turnpike when I spotted a twinkle high up in the sky," Nashua resident Jim Bowe told me last week. "At first glance, you'd think it was just a star, but it was slightly larger than the stars further behind it, and I thought that was weird. My wife and I were watching it and when we turned north, we lost sight of it for a second, and then, there it was again, just above the highway.
"My wife and son kept watching it while I was driving, and it eventually appeared to be just above the treetops, and traveling no more than 30 or 40 mph, because we were doing 50 and we could see it moving slowly, just in front of us. Then, as we drove under it, we could still see it moving over the trees, making no sound whatsoever."
Bowe, 49, recalled how the object was illuminated.
"The lights on this thing were perfectly round and shaped like domes. They were situated at the point -- the nose -- with one on each end of the wings. The lights didn't blink or change, they were just a steady, constant brightness. And there were no red or green marker lights, like you'd see on regular aircraft. My wife said she saw amber colors on each tip, right next to the big dome lights."
The first thing Bowe did after arriving home was to sketch the object, then showed it to his older son, John, who created a computer rendering of the UFO. (See image below)
To follow up the sighting, Bowe did two other things. First, he called the nearby Nashua airport.
"I asked them if they could provide me with flight times of planes coming in and out of there and what directions they were going in. I got an email back, saying, 'we're sorry, but at that time of the night, there was nobody here, so we don't have any records.' There was no one on duty at the time [of the sighting]."
The next thing Bowe did was to file a report with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), who turned the case over to NH field investigator Mark Podell. He told HuffPost he thinks this most likely has an Earth-based explanation: "I've studied aircraft and propulsion systems for 25 years. I think this sighting adds up to it being a man-made, possibly stealth aircraft that has abilities that most people are not aware of."
Bowe respectfully disagrees with that assessment.
"I think it was extraterrestrial, in my personal opinion. From what I witnessed, I've never seen a craft that could do that -- being that big -- float by without falling out of the sky and not making a sound. It wasn't a blimp or a drone. I estimated the size of it. The wings were about the size of two tour buses -- that's how big this was over the trees."
As with the earlier UFO sighting in Concord (see map below showing the distance between Concord and Nashua), the Bowe incident lasted around five minutes before the object left, heading east above the trees.
Back in Concord, Ben hesitated to speculate on what he thinks he photographed that night.
"It was a UFO, an unidentified flying object. I didn't know what to think -- it was just there."
The fact that my nephew was one of the witnesses of this object doesn't affect the overall reliability of the report, other than the notion that I can personally attest for his credibility, and that counts for something.
Another important thing is that Ben is the only person who photographed the object, and in UFO cases, the credibility of any images is paramount to the story.
MUFON is continuing its investigation of the New Hampshire boomerang.

Whether aliens are here for research or to investigate human life we are yet still to find out but UFOs and alien sightings are rife in Milton Keynes compared to its relatively modest population.
Here are just a few tales of extra-terrestrial activity throughout the city.
In 1979 a man from Milton Keynes contacted alien agents to report on two mysterious sightings. The first came when Sam, as he prefers to be called, was going to his girlfriend’s house in Pike Farm.
In the sky he saw a moving, floating light, which followed him, getting increasingly bigger and brighter as it did so. The mysterious object descended from the sky and hovered about 100 feet off the ground.
Confused and bewildered Sam watched as the object drew closer. He claims it was about half the size of a football pitch and was a triangle shape with rounded corners. He told the alien detectives that on closer inspection the light was gold and inside the aircraft he could see bronze interior inside the UFO.
The sighting was reported to BUFOG.
Bletchley A5 moving UFO
Two weeks later Sam was on the A5 Bletchley and saw a dark object behind some trees. It was the same shape, as the UFO he had seen a few days before, but this time there wasn’t a glowing beacon of light protruding from it. The peculiar object was then joined by another before hovering away into the shadows.
The sighting was reported to BUFOG.
Six sightings in one night
In 2008 six families reported alien sightings across Milton Keynes in one night.Families and neighbours witnessed saw orange, red and yellow lights flying through the sky. There were four reports from Monkston alone but even though police were called there was little they could do. Read the full story.
Balloon shaped floating disc
A black UFO with a white light was spotted by a witness at around 11.30am September 16 2014. The man told MKWeb he thought it was a balloon but when it turned around it was perfectly flat on one side.
He said the object was visible for 3 – 4 minutes before it “rapidly gaining height, shrinking and vanishing.”
Hovering UFO
A video posted by observers of what looks like a hovering spacecraft floating through the sky was posted on YouTube. The object – a greyish blue colour – looks like it’s fluid and swashes through the blue evening sky. Take a look for yourself:
Cloaked disc UFO
Posted on an alien forum, a witness said they saw a “cloaked disc UFO” floating on Midsummer Blvd.
A ‘cloaked disc UFO’ is an object that is relatively hard to identify. Most UFO crafts have a recognisable structure but if they are cloaked it can be harder to tell.

Police witness unexplainable object
In 1982 two police officers were driving along Saxon Street and saw an oblong shaped UFO in the sky. The pair saw red and blue flashing lights coming from the aircraft and reported the sighting to the Ministry of Defence.

Earlier this year, Lefse Records released The Space Project, in which acts like Beach House, Spiritualized, The Antlers, and more used actual recordings from the Voyager space probe to create songs and soundscapes. Though a neat gimmick, with some intriguing submissions, the resulting album didn’t necessarily reflect the true sonic aesthetic of our solar system. For that, we turn to NASA, who has shared actual electromagnetic recordings taken from throughout our very own solar system.
No one may be able to hear you scream in space, but that whole great, black abyss miles above our heads is just teeming with noises. From the brooding, slightly ambient rumblings of Saturn and its rings to the more romantic Neptune, which sounds like sitting on a back porch in Tennesse in mid-July, our solar system’s soundtrack is as emotionally-nuanced as it is almost cinematic. Just wait till you hear what Uranus sounds like, though.

Op ongeveer 11.000 kilometer boven de aarde bevindt zich een onzichtbaar ‘schild’ dat elektronen tegenhoudt die met bijna de snelheid van het licht langs onze planeet suizen. Dat hebben wetenschappers van de Universiteit van Colorado in Boulder ontdekt.
Deze zogeheten ‘killer-elektronen’, die vrijkomen bij krachtige uitbarstingen op de zon, vormen een bedreiging voor ruimtestations, satellieten en astronauten. Het Star Trek-achtige schild is gevonden aan de binnenkant van één van de twee Van Allen-gordels, donutvormige ringen om de aarde die zijn gevuld met elektronen en protonen.
De killer-elektronen botsen op 11.000 kilometer boven de aarde op een soort glazen muur in de ruimte. “Het lijkt alsof de elektronen op een glazen muur stuiten,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Daniel Baker. “Dit fenomeen doet denken aan het schild dat in Star Trek wordt gebruikt om de Enterprise te beschermen. Het is een bijzonder fenomeen.”
De wetenschappers hebben nog geen eenduidige verklaring kunnen bedenken voor het bestaan van het schild. Wel denken ze dat de heftigste uitbarstingen aan het zonneoppervlak het schild tijdelijk kunnen doorbreken.
Het is mogelijk dat de plasmasfeer van de aarde iets met het onzichtbare schild te maken heeft. Dit is een wolk bestaande uit koud, elektrisch geladen gas die zich uitstrekt tot vele duizenden kilometers in de ruimte. Dit gebied van de aardse magnetosfeer bestaat uit laagenergetisch plasma.
Een vrouw die beweert voor de NASA te hebben gewerkt, zegt te beschikken over bewijs voor één van de grootste doofpotten in de ruimtevaartgeschiedenis. In 1979 zag ze naar eigen zeggen twee mensen in ruimtepakken bij de Viking Lander, die zich op dat moment op het Marsoppervlak bevond. Dat meldt de Britse krant Metro.
‘Jackie’ belde eerder dit jaar met Coast to Coast AM en vroeg de presentator ‘een 27 jaar oud mysterie op te lossen’. Ze beweerde dat ze voor NASA had gewerkt en betrokken was bij het Vikingprogramma. Ze zei dat ze twee mensen op het Marsoppervlak had zien lopen.
Ze zei dat ze samen met zes collega’s naar een aantal schermen zat te kijken toen ze plotseling twee mannen in ruimtepakken in de richting van de Viking zag lopen. “We waren met z’n zessen,” zei Jackie. “We hielden ons bezig met de apparatuur, toen plotseling het beeld op zwart ging.”
“We renden naar boven, maar ze hadden de deur op slot gedaan,” ging ze verder. “Ik vraag me af of het onze jongens waren.” Er gaan geruchten dat er in de jaren zestig ‘geheime’ landingen op Mars zijn geweest en dat de Apollo-landingen bedoeld waren om een veel uitgebreidere verkenning van het zonnestelsel te verdoezelen.
Voormalig CIA’er John Lear beweert dat NASA in 1966 op Mars is geland en dat mensen is geleerd hoe ze er konden wennen aan de dunne atmosfeer. Verhalen over geheime ruimtemissies doen schrijver Nigel Watson denken aan Project Serpo.
“In november 2005 zei iemand van de Amerikaanse militaire inlichtingendienst DIA dat er een uitwisselingsprogramma was met buitenaardsen,” legde hij uit. “Een 3000 pagina’s tellend document uit de jaren zeventig zou aantonen dat zes buitenaardsen zijn gevonden op de plek van de Roswellcrash.”
“Een overlevende, die EBE 1 werd genoemd, zou 12 mensen hebben getraind om zijn thuisplaneet Serpo in het Zeta Reticuli-stelsel te bezoeken,” aldus Watson. “Deze missie vond plaats in 1965 en ze bleven er tot 1978. Twee van hen kwamen te overlijden, twee bleven op de planeet en de rest keerde terug naar de aarde, maar stierf later.”
“Bill Ryan, die deze beweringen op internet plaatste, concludeerde dat ‘het Serpo-verhaal bestaat uit desinformatie en fouten, maar wel een kern van waarheid bevat’,” besloot hij.
AMAZING ALIEN CRAFT PHOTO FROM AUSTRALIA SEPTEMBER 25, 2014 ……….. KELSO AUSTRALIA
I was sitting outside in a chair in the yard observing sky as there has been a few strange events occur over the last few months that we have witnessed, however this is the first that we got photographs of and was the third time this object appeared, there’s been a couple of different ones since we’ve had this happening. My family members had travelled to see us on holidays so I was looking nightly hoping they could witness one of the objects also. At around 10.30pm the object appeared from the SE around the 25 degree mark, it just appears out of nowhere. It is noticeably brighter than the stars and planets and moves in various directions, up, down and from one side to another, not great distances across the sky however and it travels at various speeds, sometimes slow, others fast and at times appears to remain stationary, it didn’t go higher than approximately the 40 degree mark. When looking through binoculars it looks spherical like and emits many different colours and appears to spin and turn which makes it appear to change shape also with all of the different light patterns it emits. The colour of the object itself was olive/silver colour. It at times also would just fade out altogether and then reappear. With the naked eye it looks almost star like when they change colours when they are just above the horizon level but it is far more visibly noticeable. We watched it for approx two hours all taking turns to look through the binoculars as it was clearer to see what it was doing. My mother was too scared to look through them to start but totally amazed once she did to see the movement of it as it spins which you don’t see without them. We weren’t sure either whether there was more than one or it was splitting into two or three or if it was just our eyes playing tricks because of the lights it was throwing out. My niece and nephew who she bought up were very excited and were giving us a commentary every time they got the binoculars. My 3 children present also were giving narratives of the other events we have witnessed since July as a few different things have happened and not always the same objects. We’ve lived here for 12 years and never seen anything up until a few months ago and spend many nights outside around the fire and in the pool and looking up as the kids play spot the satellites, this has been out of the ordinary. We all attempted to take video footage with our phones, various types, however they didn’t take very good pictures at all let alone footage. My daughter got her Olympus Tough model tg-820 and stabilised it on my car roof and other surfaces during the event and took multiple photos. No stars would show on her camera screen, we thought maybe due to distance and not being a powerful camera, this object was the only thing that would display. We were amazed at the photos as she was taking them as there was colour trails in some, from where they object had moved. We stopped watching it when the children advised they were tired and we went in to put them to bed After approximately 5 minutes we went back out and it was still there. So we observed for a little longer and then went to make a cup of tea and it was gone when we went back out. There were no clouds in the sky at all during the course of the event that evening and lots of stars out so we knew it wasn’t an obstructed view that made it disappear, we looked/waited for it for around another ten minutes in case it appeared again and then decided to head into bed. It was not until the next day that we all got to look at the photos on the computer where they were much larger and we were able zoom in more to see what she had captured and none of us could explain what it is. We are hoping you may have an explanation or have seen this before.

Native People have many legends of giants, all around the world. One of the legends of the Cherokee involves a giant they called “Judaculla” who was described as a “slant-eyed giant” who ruled the mountains long ago.
The Natives said that this decorated rock in the area of Sylva, North Carolina, marked the giant's territory and even had his 7-fingered print from when he set his hand upon the rock to steady himself. The drawings are believed to be 2000 to 3000 years old. No one has deciphered the writing on the rock and, in fact, there are supposedly other rocks in the area with such drawings, some ruined with time and others still probably hidden by overgrowth. What makes the story even more interesting is that the area reports a great deal of what are considered classic “portal” events (think “Skinwalker Ranch”). These types of things include UFOs sightings, spook lights, and ghostly goings on.

Dreamland UFOs: Sleep Paralysis and Alien Apparitions
Only hours ago, I was wrapping up a radio appearance with Nick Redfern and Raven Meindel on their program “Exploring All Realms.” During the show, my friends and interviewers-for-the-evening were asking a variety of insightful questions about every manner of unusual strangeness, which becomes rather usual as I recount it on this blog. Among the subject matter addressed, at one point we discussed some of the otherworldly and nearly dreamlike descriptions of alien abduction described over the last several decades.
I have long felt that there is more to the alien abduction phenomenon than meets the eye, and though it may not be fair to completely dismiss the tangible aspects of what abductees relate, it would be silly to discount the less-tangible elements that begin to emerge with some consistency when studying the available literature. Many abductees report strange, archetypical imagery in their experiences, such as Betty Andreason’s encounter with an enormous, smoldering phoenix that spoke of itself with Christian overtones, or the appearances of certain animals, as reported by Whitley Streiber. Another grouping of experiences that also bear similarities to UFO abductions are the wide varieties of mystical states of altered consciousness, such as out of body experiences and, namely, sleep paralysis.
Writing for Psychology Today, Matthew Edlund, M.D., recounted recently how he came to draw a similar parallel, while discussing alien abductions during an interview in the early 1990s. “I offhandedly remarked that much of what ‘abductees’ described sounded like sleep paralysis: states between REM sleep and waking where people have bizarre and frightening out-of-body experiences,” Edlund wrote. “Uncanny human events are actually very common; about half the population experiences sleep paralysis.” Half the population does not report UFO encounters, however, much less abduction sequences.
Still, considering Edlund’s rational approaches toward the subject, it is interesting to consider whether, if we were to try and look at sleep paralysis as a purely medical phenomenon, we might learn anything different about the nature of what seems to be occurring. In truth, this could also be applied more broadly to a variety of elements associated with abductions, too. Let’s take a look at just one of them.
There is quite a bit of information available that involves the removal of strange objects that appear mysteriously in people’s bodies. These are sometimes metallic, sometimes glass-like, and sometimes are merely little amalgamations of organic matter. There is little recorded literature supporting a medical condition that coincides with the presence of these foreign objects in the body, which, to some researchers, might be evidence of an extraterrestrial device implanted in these individuals. After all, one of the more compelling pieces of data associated with these kinds of reports is the lack of any kind of surgical scars or “entry wounds” though which the objects could have entered. Occam’s Razor might suggest that the simple explanation here involves an advanced technology, capable of inserting the object so carefully that virtually no evidence of its existence would be left on the host’s exterior; but in spite of the extraordinary circumstances, the possibility that science might still be useful in helping solve the mystery has not yet been removed.
There are in fact medical conditions which could present circumstances similar to the appearance of a “foreign object” somewhere within the body of an alleged abductee, such as what is called a channelopathy. In this circumstance, a disease results from the disturbed function of ion channels in the body, or in some cases the proteins that regulate them. In other words, certain substances such as minerals taken into the body while eating, drinking, etc, may not process correctly, and hence they do not arrive for distribution throughout the body through the proper ion channels. Different variations of channelopathy result in different symptomatic conditions; for instance, Cystic fibrosis can result from a Chloride channelopathy. In the lesser known instance of, say, an iron channelopathy, iron deposits in the food one consumes are not properly absorbed into the body, and eventually a metabolic pathway is relegated within the body where they may be deposited over time.
In one such instance I recently heard of, related to me by a friend in the medical profession living in Alabama, an individual undergoing x-rays was found to have a small, metal ‘slug’ in his leg, which after removal, resembled a bullet that had ricocheted off a hard surface and entered the subject. No entry wounds existed, however, prompting one of the specialists on hand to recommend that tests be performed on the metallic object. Though it appeared to be iron, the object was found to be of unknown composition, and test results appeared inconclusive on most fronts. After a good bit of speculation, the man was tested for a rare form of channelopathy in which iron or other minerals may not be breaking down consistently in the body. Not to anyone’s surprise, the patient did indeed suffer from the channelopathy, which had apparently caused the strange iron relic to form naturally within his body! As far as test results showing that the object was of “unknown,” origin, this was due to years of various grades of iron, consumed naturally in the patient’s diet, being amassed together over time to form one singular lump of iron that appeared in his leg.
As this case illustrates, to understand the deeper nature of the alien abduction phenomenon, arguably, would have to call for a reconsideration of medical and environmental factors which perhaps only certain individuals experience. The point here is not to attempt to “debunk” alien abductions, but to have an honest dialogue about how certain circumstances in the UFO literature might bear similarity to natural phenomenon. In the long run, medical conditions that remain largely-unknown to science may provide insight into not only what occurs during an alien abduction, but also the conditions (like sleep paralysis) which are so often associated with the phenomenon. But what will be the end result? Will we finally have scientific explanations for one branch of phenomenology that remains hotly-contested, or will such revelations only widen the doors of perception that appear to indicate that a global–if not universal–awareness of strange phenomenon exists already?

November 26, 2014 - Ross, a commenter at the 'UFO Conjecture(s)' blog, stated today in an email exchange with 'The UFO Trail' that his email and the accounts of some high profile UFO-researchers were hacked in relation to the alleged Roswell slides. Ross further stated that he believed "a three letter agency" was responsible.
Ross stated that he assumed he was initially targeted due to his involvement in email exchanges about the slides. He first got involved in the saga, he indicated, about 18 months ago through reading 'UFO Conjecture(s)' and exchanging emails with its author, Rich Reynolds.
"The 'hacking' thing involved Tony Bragalia, Rich Reynolds, Nick Redfern and myself," Ross wrote.
"Based on the resources required to do what I think they were doing; intercepting our comms as opposed to just 'hacking' and just the way things transpired I'm of the opinion this was a three letter agency," he added.
The party responsible for compromising the emails was obviously interested in the slides, Ross explained, and generally caused disruption.
"My instinct was that whoever we were dealing with had a sophisticated operation behind them," Ross wrote, "and figured I may as well try communicating to see what they have to say (the hacker used various safe-mail accounts to interact with us)."
Ross continued, "The first response I received to a communication I had initiated was a list of emails which were mostly discussions about the slides, but there was some unrelated material there (which I discarded). This was obviously the hacker wanting to let me know the extent of the surveillance. There was a lot of smoke and mirrors, but overall the story was that these slides were of interest to certain three letter agencies. There were offers of money, a sit down meeting with someone fully briefed in what the government really knows about UFOs, and even the opportunity to see for real what the slides supposedly depict. All these offers were related to my acting as a conduit to arrange a meeting between the people handling the slides and the party/parties doing the 'hacking'. This wasn't something I was in a position to set up not being in contact with or on good terms with the people involved."
Ross alleged that further intrusions involved telephone disruptions, explaining, "I got some strange calls and some even stranger interruptions into calls I was making. It would be things like 'have you considered our offer', 'we can help each other', that kind of thing. I had kept that part quiet because people just tend to write people who say stuff like that off as loons."
The events unfolded "over the last few months," subsiding in the last six weeks or so. Ross interpreted that computer experts and the FBI were alerted to the circumstances but investigations resulted in "dead ends".
"It was clear to me that what they were engaged in was a labor, it wasn't recreational, it was a case of this is how we do this and it has to be done. For example, 'these issues crop up from time to time and it is important that we deal with them so they can be managed in a way consistent with established practices', which was an answer as to what was with all the smoke and mirrors and bullshit riddles."
"I think the goal was to spook people," Ross concluded, "to derail the slides investigation and to attempt to recruit people into a conspiracy with the ultimate goal of securing the slide material on their behalf."
Prior to the email exchange with Ross, attempts were made to obtain comments from writer/researcher Thomas Carey about his statements about the slides during his recent appearance at American University. Carey was emailed Nov. 13 and permission was requested to submit a few questions, to which Carey replied the same day, "Sure."
The questions, which included inquiries about what evidence he felt existed that directly linked the alleged slides to Roswell and what he would say to critics that assert the slides only contain images of unknown circumstances that cannot be conclusively demonstrated to involve an ET life form, were emailed Nov. 14. Steeds meer zien we vreemde “wolken” die door kleine ronde witte UFO's gebruikt worden als een soort basis.
Dit keer werd het fenomeen gefilmd boven een voorstad van Parijs.
Het is 14 november aan het van de middag en tegen zonsondergang in een voorstad van Parijs.
De lucht is vrij helder met uitzondering van een grote donkere wolk aan de horizon. Aan de rand ervan zien we weer de bekende witte UFO's/orbs.
Op de volgende foto zie je op de voorgrond de huizen en bomen en aan de horizon een vreemde donkere wolk in een verder vrij “schone” lucht met aan de rand een viertal UFO's.
De maker van de video hieronder had ook duidelijk het idee dat de UFO's binnenkwamen voor een landing “in de wolk” zoals te zien op de volgende afbeelding.
Ook hier is er weer sprake dat de lichten op een gegeven moment van kleur veranderen naar een soort rood/oranje.
Volgens de maker is er geen twijfel over mogelijk dat de vloot UFO's op weg was naar deze specifieke wolk. Volgens hem om zich daarin te verbergen.
Volgens ons om terug te keren naar de basis. Dit kan zijn een groot moederschip wat zich ophoudt in de wolk of dat deze fungeert als een dimensiepoort waardoor de UFO's huiswaarts keren.
Vanwege de spectaculaire video uit Mexico onlangs zijn wij geneigd om het laatste te geloven. Het enige wat er bij deze wolk ontbreekt zijn de bliksemflitsen die over het algemeen eveneens worden waargenomen. Misschien waren die er, maar wordt dit door de maker verder niet vermeld.
Deze gebeurtenis doet uiteraard ook sterk denken aan het prachtige verhaal van de getuige uit Friesland.
Dit fenomeen, moederschepen en/of dimensiepoorten met kleine witte ronde UFO's is iets dat de laatste tijd veelvuldig wordt waargenomen. Misschien duurt het daarom wel niet meer zolang voordat dit raadsel wordt opgelost.

Chile Releases Official Study on UFO Photos
The government office investigating UFOs in Chile has released an analysis of two high quality photos showing what appear be genuine unidentified flying objects above a remote copper mine. The office, known as the CEFAA (Committee for the Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena), is located within the Ministerial Department of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC), the equivalent of our FAA, under the jurisdiction of the Chilean Air Force. It is responsible for the analysis of selected reports of unexplained aerial phenomena in Chilean airspace, most of them from pilots and aviation personnel.
The photos were taken at the Collahuasi copper mine, more than 14,000 feet above sea level in the Andean plateau in the far north of Chile. An extremely remote location with low oxygen levels and unusually clear skies, the area is desolate and inhospitable. The Collahuasi mine produces copper concentrate, copper cathodes and molybdenum concentrate from three open-pit mineral deposits. (Click here for a map).
Four technicians - professionals specializing in electricity, electronics, and fluid control - were working there in April, 2013. They witnessed a disc-shaped object which approached slowly and was present for more than an hour, moving around in different positions and hovering at about 2000 feet. One technician took pictures with his Kenox Samsung S860 camera. The strange object made no sound, and eventually moved away towards the East.
The witnesses decided not to tell anybody because of the negative associations they had with UFO sightings, and therefore had every intention of always keeping the sighting private. But some months later, the photographer casually showed the pictures to the chief engineer at the mine, who asked for copies. The engineer sent the images to the CEFAA in February, and provided the agency with information reported to him by the witnesses. He too has requested anonymity.
Chile's meteorological office at the DGAC confirmed that there was an absolute clear sky at that time, and that there was no possibility of lenticular clouds. All other meteorological phenomena have been ruled out by Chilean officials as a possible explanation.
CEFAA officials told me they determined that there were no drones operating near the mine. "People in that zone know about drones," said Jose Lay, international affairs director for the CEFAA. "Fishing companies use drones and they make a lot of noise. This was definitely not a drone." DGAC officials also ruled out any experimental aircraft, planes, weather balloons, or anything else that could explain the incident.
With all conventional explanations eliminated, the CEFAA staff determined that the photos were worthy of analysis. The results of this study, conducted by a leading CEFAA analyst at the DGAC Meteorological Office, was released on July 3rd and is posted on the CEFAA website.
The report states that the witnesses described the phenomenon as "a flattened disc, of brilliant color, with a diameter of 5 to 10 meters [16 to 32 feet]. It performed ascending, descending and horizontal movements in short lengths, about 600 meters above the ground." The witnesses had the impression that the object was under intelligent control.
The first image, enlarged and filtered, shows a solid object reflecting the sunlight, the report states. It adds that the object could be emitting it's own energy as well, due to the high temperature shown in the image (the black area).
The second photo shows the object in a different position in the sky. (The CEFAA does not know the time sequence between the two images.)
The text on this diagram of the enlarged second image indicates lines where very soft rays were reflected from an "extremely luminous half sphere." The analyst concludes that the object "emitted its own energy that does not coincide with the natural sunlight which is also reflected off the object." At noon, the brightness underneath could not have been caused by the sun, which was reflected off the top.
The study concludes that "It is an object or phenomenon of great interest, and it can be qualified as a UFO."
Despite the strength of this analysis, the CEFAA staff recognize the limitations of the Collahuasi case. "The witnesses were not willing to cooperate," Jose Lay told me. "We tried to contact them, and we got no reply. So we treated the material just as we have treated several others of the same or similar nature: we file them for future reference or comparison purposes. That's all we can do in this case."
Retired General Ricardo Bermudez, director of the CEFAA, says "We recognize that this is the determination of only one CEFFA analyst among several. So we still must be cautious." He has called a meeting of the CEFFA scientific committee, composed of high level specialists from laboratories and universities, for next week. Although they are not expert visual photo-video analysts, the opinion of this distinguished group, which supports the work of the CEFAA and assists with investigations when needed, could shed further light on the case.
The South American media has shown great interest in these images. In the US, retired Navy physicist Bruce Maccabee, a well known photo analyst, has this to say: "In the second image there appears to be a very bright hemispherical shape, convex downward... possibly a UFO enveloped in a cloud of vapor." He notes that additional data is needed to determine more, but that it is clear that the object moved "a considerable distance" between the two photos.
"This is clearly not a normal thing seen in the sky (bird, plane, cloud, etc.)," added Dr. Maccabee in an email. "That makes it either the real thing - UFO - or a hoax, and it doesn't appear to be a hoax, although the inability to question witnesses does reduce the credibility. Certainly this case is worthy of further study."
It is indeed unfortunate that the four witnesses have not been willing to speak to the authorities, who could guarantee them anonymity. But even so, these images are important because they were studied by a government agency with access to the pertinent information needed for a proper analysis. That in itself is unusual. I commend the CEFAA for taking on cases such as this. The experts there conducted a serious investigation, and then released the information to the public, with no reservations about acknowledging the possible existence of a UFO, since that is warranted.

Cameras capture a variety of moments in time, but sometimes they capture something else, something unexplained. One man from New Mexico believes he's discovered a new life form, which has spurred a worldwide debate.
"There is a phenomenon that exist among us," said Jose Escamilla, founder and researcher of RODS. "They're like sky fish. They swim through the air like fish."
He first captured a strange image on his photographs back in 1994.
"At first I thought they were insects, birds you know floating close to the lens of the camera," he said.
However, at such a high shutter setting, he says he eliminated the possibility of it being an insect or a bird, but something else, something mysterious.
"We think it's a living entity of some kind. It does have behavior of being alive," said Escamilla. "They're very evasive, they're super fast."
Escamilla calls this entity a ROD, measuring one to six feet long with a cylinder body and multiple sets of wings.
"We don't know what they're doing here. We don't know how long they've been here," he said. "We have rock carvings that appears to show RODS on carve drawings from 50,000 years ago."
Skeptics, however, don't buy into the ROD theory. Skeptics like Mark Zimmerman, an assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
"I hate to call myself a skeptic, but I'm probably labelled as that because I just think there's some sort of scientific answer for things like this," said Zimmerman. "I think it's interesting and makes for a good topic of discussion."
In fact, he discussed the phenomenon in class recently after one of his students, Erick Perry, captured what appears to be a ROD in a photograph taken for a class assignment.
"It was actually somebody in class who pointed it out," said Perry.
As part of the assignment, Perry took the same photograph at a cemetery during different times of the day. In the night photograph, a white object appeared in the upper right-handed corner.
"People in class joked around about it, like UFOs, but most likely, it was probably like a bug or a plane or something," he said. "The fact that it was in a cemetery made it a little more creepy."
Zimmerman agrees the object is more than likely not out of this world.
"You can capture planes as they're going across the sky, satellites, things that you typically wouldn't see other than like a dot typically when you look up," he said. "Whereas with the longer shutter, when it's open, things will move and light will reflect off of it."
Wanting to prove his point, Zimmerman shot a series of photographs at different exposure times around a porch light, capturing what appears to be objects similar to Rods, but actually turned out to be moths. Like other camera experts, Zimmerman says cameras are capable of producing artifacts, something in the picture that wasn't actually there.
Escamilla viewed Perry's photograph from class and says the mysterious object is not a ROD, but perhaps an airplane. However, he says that doesn't disprove his ROD theory.
"Each object has its own certain footprint, it's certain pattern of flight, you can tell what an insect looks like, you can tell what a bird looks like, a dragonfly and a ROD is a ROD," he said.
Escamilla says RODS can be seen anywhere but their hotbeds are in Washington DC, New Orleans, Canada, Mexico, Texas, Arizona and California the U.S. He says they've also been captured in Scotland, Russia, Japan, China, Germany and the UK.
Escamilla has seen RODS in photographs and video of space and even underwater. He even spied a ROD in video taken from SkyNews9 during tornado coverage in 1999.
"Those RODS are huge. That one white ROD that comes out of the top of the cloud, that cloud front was 10 miles away from the helicopter and it comes out in three frames. That thing must have been a 100 feet in length," said Escamilla.
So what do you believe? Do rods exist among us, these strange living things that appear and disappear in the blink of an eye, caught at just the right moment in time?
"I think everyone always has some sort of conspiracy on anything. I mean, it could be Bigfoot," said Zimmerman.
"This phenomenon is real and for those of you who don't believe in it, that's your prerogative. You can believe what you want, or disbelieve, but the fact is, these things are here," said Escamilla. "They are doing something here. We don't know what they do but they are doing it."
Escamilla says technology has improved the documentation of RODS, where he's now able to capture them using infrared filters and in high-speed footage.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) needs your help to raise funds to build a Global UFO Database. MUFON’s current database was released eight years ago and needs to be updated to meet the needs of the number of people who report UFOs and it will make the process easier and more efficient. MUFON has already invested countless hours and over $30,000 of its own dollars in the pursuit of this initiative. We are enthusiastic, dedicated, and have the expertise to pull it off.

That said, we will likely continue to launch features and fixes after the first release.
The pledge period runs through December 2, 2014, and the project will only be funded if it raises at least $78,000. Nearly $9,000 was raised in the early hours of the campaign.

In Siberië is in de buurt van één van de grootste kaliummijnen ter wereld een reusachtig mysterieus zinkgat verschenen. Het gapende gat is 30 meter in doorsnee en ontstond vlak nadat de nabijgelegen Solikamsk-mijn was ondergelopen.
Het is niet voor het eerst dat een zinkgat is ontstaan in het gebied. Soortgelijke reusachtige gaten verschenen eerder al op het schiereiland Jamal (‘het einde van de wereld’). Lokale bewoners zeggen raketten en zelfs vallende engelen in de omgeving van de zinkgaten te hebben gezien.
Duizenden mijnwerkers kregen te horen dat ze uit de buurt moeten blijven van het zinkgat. Geologen proberen te achterhalen wat er precies is gebeurd. Volgens één theorie heeft een aardbeving 20 jaar geleden het gesteente rond de mijn verzwakt.
De krater zorgde voor massale paniek in het dorp en veel inwoners proberen hun huis te verkopen. Een lokale bewoner zei: “Mensen hebben al drie dagen niet geslapen, ze zijn bang dat er nieuwe gaten ontstaan.”
Een ander zei: “De huizen waren leeg toen het gebeurde. Pas op enkele kilometers staan huizen die daadwerkelijk bewoond zijn.” De toekomst van de mijn, die eigendom is van de grootste kaliproducent ter wereld, is onzeker.
Siberische kraters ontstaan veelal in gebieden met permafrost waar de bodem begint te smelten en het vrijkomende gas explosies veroorzaakt.
Witnesses in Portugal were left perplexed as they watched “angel hair” fall from the sky.
These strange wispy strands descended from the sky during a late October afternoon. According to witnesses, the phenomenon was observed during two consecutive weekends.

According to UK media outlet Metro, a witness claims,
Me and a couple of friends sent [the angel hair] to be analysed – and the weirdest things happened. It reacts to UV light. It comes alive.
Instances of this angel hair falling from the sky have been reported around the world. But studying the material has proven difficult. As the Metro points out, “The samples often evaporate before they can be properly analysed.”
However, material was collected from an angel hair incident in Italy in 1954. Spectrographic analysis revealed that the sample contained boron, silicon, calcium, and magnesium. But, aside from its composition, researchers were unable to determine what it was.
Some believe that angel hair is nothing more than spider webs spun by migrating spiders who use these webs as sails to fly through the sky. But as researchers who looked at the analysis done on the Italy samples point out, spider webs are made up of nitrogen, calcium, hydrogen, and oxygen–not the elements reportedly found in the collected samples.
