WE Want to Believe: MUFON Plan Database to Track Sightings World Wide
January 26, 2015- An investigative organization has kick-started the creation of a worldwide UFO database, which will allow people around the globe to report their supposed extraterrestrial encounters.
A new tool from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) promises to help demystify the mystique that rides along with skywatchers' interpretations that extraterrestrial intruders are cruising Earth's airspace. But in today's age of video and cellphone cameras, iPhone apps, Twitter and other techniques, can these tools assist or hinder classifying the "strangeness factor" of UFOs?
Is such a database needed, and who cares? Moreover, what's the current status of UFOs in 2015? [Where to Spot UFOs (Infographic)]
MUFON's plan to plot out a new database is designed to advance the group's investigative and citizen-action sighting efforts.
The organization's mission is the scientific study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity, said Jan Harzan, executive director of MUFON, headquartered in Newport Beach, California. In that regard, he said that fulfilling this scientific quest requires the systematic study of the nature and behavior of the physical universe, based on observation, experiment and measurement.
"To do real science, one would need a way to collect and store observations and measurements taken from a given field of study" — in this case, UFOs — and also to retrieve and correlate this data in the form of analysis and possible experiments, Harzan said.
Back in 2006, MUFON instituted a database system, inputting nearly 70,000 alleged UFO cases that had been submitted by the public and investigated by certified MUFON field investigators.
"Each month, MUFON receives between 500 and 1,000 UFO reports from all over the globe," Harzan said. "These reports come from many credible sources, including airline pilots, military personnel, former intelligence officers, doctors, lawyers, as well as the general public," with many detailed observations also involving photographs and video.
This information is then stored in the MUFON database and made available to the public and used for scientific analysis, Harzan said.
"Meanwhile, with the explosion of cellphones, video cameras, and print and online media reports, both past and present — as well as tens of thousands of paper UFO files collected by MUFON prior to 2006 — the need to be able to have all this data in one place and easily correlated is all the more important," Harzan told Space.com. That's why there's a need for a "new" global UFO database — "one that is easy to access, easy to use and easy to search, so that information can be correlated based on all sorts of parameters," Harzan added.
The goal is to catalog details like size, shape, color, flight characteristics, date and location from a wide variety of UFO reports, including newspaper and magazine article accounts, photographs and video.
Then, researchers can combine all of these characteristics to draw deeper correlations and understandings, which have the potential to lead to breakthroughs.
Larry Lemke, a retired aerospace engineer and a member of the executive advisory committee of the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena, is calling for the thoughtful scientific study of the UFO phenomenon. His comments represent only his own opinions, not those of any organization with which he may be affiliated.
"I think UFO reports represent a substantive puzzle that warrants serious scientific attention, without advocating any particular position on what the answer to that puzzle is … whether it is purely psychological, purely physical or some combination of the two," he told Space.com.
"Those of us who are old enough to remember the first half of the 'UFO era' have the definite perception that the public discussion of the topic has devolved," Lemke said. "As a society, we are collectively stupider on this subject than we were a generation ago."
Small signal, large amount of noise
There are many reasons for this "dumbing down," Lemke said, but one of them is the leveling effect of the Internet. For quite some time now, he said, it has become trivially easy for an individual to misidentify a rocket launch or a spacecraft re-entry, or to gin up a Photoshop hoax and blast it around the world as a "UFO sighting."
"Then, everyone 'researches,' analyzes and comments on it with all the depth of thought that can fit in a 140-character tweet," Lemke said.
Lemke thinks the main challenge of "UFOlogy" has always been to "decipher a small signal amid a large amount of noise."
"What we need to do is, elevate the conversation to the professional research scientist/engineer level," Lemke said. "At the moment, the action on this front appears to be with private groups in France and Chile who have agreed to cooperate in the open investigation of UFOs. I wish them well in the coming years," he said.
Well-known UFO debunker James Oberg said he thinks the mass media's UFO coverage is sinking to "even lower lows of silliness and superficiality," such as the steady stream of "UFOs buzz the International Space Station" fairy tales.
"It gets harder and harder to filter out the truly interesting reports that are lost in the noise and garble," Oberg said, and he has found some such reports.
"They don't have to be alien visitors, and I have seen no convincing evidence for even a single event of this nature," Oberg said. "But they often can be secret military aerospace activity, particularly in Russia and China," and that fully explains U.S. military intelligence agency interest in foreign "UFO reports," he said.
"Any number of human agencies can — and probably has — found it useful to be mistaken by the public for flying-saucer visits, but that usually seems opportunistic rather than deliberate," Oberg added. "These can be governments, corporations, even criminal enterprises. Once in a while, a hoaxer or spoofing club adds more mud to the water."
But sometimes, interesting natural phenomena do get swept into the mix — and, through guilt by association, don't get the scientific attention they deserve, Oberg said. [UFO Quiz: What's Really Out There]
"So, diligent records-keeping, report writing, witness interviews, as conducted by generations of seriously interested private part-time investigators, can provide information which only years or decades later makes sense. It may not be the explanations most of them were hoping for, but it makes their work honorable and constructive all the same," Oberg said. "Kudos to them — may their tribe increase!"
Taking a long look, Oberg said that there is no denying the prospect that humanity may someday encounter evidence for the activity of genuine extraterrestrial intelligence, somewhere.
"It may be shockingly overt or gently subtle," he said. "The current cultural garble factor of 'UFO reports' probably is a serious hindrance to recognizing the latter kind of detection."
Writer and UFO skeptic Robert Sheaffer said that part of the problem with so-called UFOlogy lies in separating science fiction from real science.
"The major fault line in UFOlogy today is the division between what can be called 'new-age' UFOlogy and what its proponents call 'scientific' UFOlogy … but is, in reality, science fiction," Sheaffer said. Both are junk science, he said, and consistently ignore Occam's razor — that is, all other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.
"Proponents fail to reconcile whatever hypotheses they invent with the rest of the body of established scientific fact," Sheaffer told Space.com. "While the dividing line between the two groups is not hard and fast — and some UFO claims will contain elements of both — most major UFOlogists and UFO groups will fit clearly into one group or the other."
Sheaffer said that MUFON is not the first attempt to build a major UFO database, but merely the latest. Some have even sought to augment data collection with a "rapid response team" to go out and do real-time, on-site investigations, he said.
"None of these attempts have ever been successful," Sheaffer said.
The current trend in UFOlogy seems to be toward "tabloid trash," especially as seen in television shows like "Ancient Aliens," Sheaffer said.
In the reporting and investigation of UFO sightings, MUFON claims it strives to use the scientific method, Sheaffer said. But MUFON's promotion of itself through the tabloid trash cable TV show "Hangar 1" "has caused it to lose whatever claims it once had to scientific respectability."

The witness, George Taylor, filmed this event that reportedly took place over Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, England on the afternoon of Sunday, January 26. The video also shows a military helicopter in flight, seemingly inspecting the UFOs.

Taylor uploaded his video to YouTube on January 26 with the following description:
Spotted three balls of light in the sky yesterday afternoon (Sunday 25th Jan) whilst walking around Rendlesham Forest and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Had a very weird feeling that I shouldn’t have been there.
Quickly recorded it on the phone and have uploaded it to see whether anyone else witnessed anything similar yesterday too. Very strange! I know Rendlesham has a long history with UFO sightings but didn’t really believe in it as I haven’t seen anything odd in all the years I’ve lived here until yesterday! Regularly take my dogs for a walk around the area and have never seen anything as strange as this. Anyone have any idea what this may have been?
Rendlesham Forest is, indeed, prominently featured in UFO lore. Much like Roswell, New Mexico, Rendlesham Forest has become synonymous with UFO. It is the location of a major UFO incident that occurred in December of 1980. Military personnel experienced several UFO sightings over a span of a few days. The incident is even referred to by some as Britain’s Roswell.
The strange flashes of light in this recent video are interesting. Odd flashes of light in some purported UFO videos can easily be explained by lens flare or other camera noise. But that is clearly not the case with this particular video. Still, as is the case with all UFO videos, the video’s authenticity should be questioned. And it’s nearly impossible to confirm or invalidate that authenticity.
Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, suggests one possibility to UK media outlet Metro. He opines, “If I was being cynical I’d say this is a stunt to give publicity for The UFO Rendlesham Incident – a new film being released in February. Like this video, it features helicopters and anomalous lights in the sky.”
Watson’s guess is a good one, based on some of the footage seen in the film’s trailer.
The recent UFO video is the only video on Taylor’s YouTube channel. And the channel was apparently created for this video, as the channel was just created on January 26. This can be an indication of a hoaxed video or a video that is part of some marketing campaign. But that is not always the case. And, based on his responses to comments posted on YouTube, he appears to be genuinely interested in any help determining what he allegedly captured on video.
John Burroughs, one of the military witnesses to the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident, will appear at the 2015 International UFO Congress to discuss his efforts to declassify documents related to the incident.
In our previous article ‘There is a secret Space War going on? Four strange Fireballs falling from the sky over Texas City, TX‘ we reported on the many strange ‘burning’ objects falling from the skies in recent months (Puerto Rico and Portoalegre in Brazil, Russia’s Amur Region, Utah sky, San Antonio, Charlottetown in Canada, Kingman Arizona, Texas City, Texas). And in most cases, the object made strange movements and disappeared.
Yet, another strange phenomenon was spotted yesterday afternoon which was recorded by several residents of the city of Frías in Argentina.
A strange light made movements in the sky, like it was under intelligent control and this went on until the “light” disappeared.
People filmed the phenomenon with their cellphone cameras and sent the information to the whatsapp feed of Nuevo Diario (385 523 3425).
According to Nuevodiarioweb.com: One witness said “What we saw was like a meteor.” Others said: “In the sky it looked like a point of radiating light and it moved from one side to the other.”

ALIEN CRAFT NEAR COLLISION WITH A NAVY PLANE FEBURARY 10,1951 …… NEWFOUNDLAND CANADA
On February 10, a US Navy flight, Atlantic – Continental Air Transport Squadron one, located at USN Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland, was out of Keflavik, Iceland at 49-50 degrees north latitude and 50-03 degrees west longitude about 150 kilometers [90 miles] west of Gander, Newfoundland out over the Atlantic Ocean. The aircraft was probably bound for Gander to refuel judging by its position and course of 230 degrees true, though the report does not mention this. US Naval Reserve Lieutenant Graham Bethune, co-pilot of Flight 125, was occupying the captain’s seat on the left side of the cockpit in the passenger plane when he first sighted a huge object [at least] 300 feet in diameter on a near collision course with their aircraft. The co-pilot stated in his official report,… I observed a glow of light below the horizon about 1,000 to 1,500 feet [330-470 meters] above the water. We both [the pilot as well] observed its course and motion for about 4 or 5 minutes before calling it to the attention of the other crew members… Suddenly its angle of attack changed. Its altitude and size increased as though its speed was in excess of 1,000 miles [1,670 kilometers] per hour. It closed in so fast that the first feeling was we would collide in midair. At this time, its angle changed and the color changed. It then [appeared] definitely circular and reddish orange on its perimeter. It reversed its course and tripled its speed until it was last seen disappearing over the horizon. The co-pilot’s report goes on to say that the object came within five miles of their aircraft which was borne out by radar evidence of the encounter because the object had been tracked by DEW Line Ground Radar at the base in Goose Bay, Labrador. When the plane landed, the entire crew was interrogated by AF Intelligence officers. At their destination, Patuxent Naval Air Station in Maryland, the pilot and the rest were questioned again by Naval Intelligence and required to sign full reports. Later, a government scientist (supposedly from the CIA) confidentially showed the pilot secret UFO photos – one portraying a disc like the one over the Atlantic. In a final interview, the commander was interviewed by Air Technical Intelligence officers at Wright-Patterson AFB. But none of the Navy or Air Force men, or the government scientist, would answer any questions about the UFOs.

Gisteren stond er een merkwaardig bericht in de buitenlandpagina’s van de Telegraaf. Een beetje verborgen en ook niet zo groot, met de titel: “Zorgen om Chinese ufo”.
Volgens het bericht hebben de Amerikaanse inlichtingendiensten ontdekt dat er een UFO is geland in het binnenland van China.
Deze zou dan geland zijn rond drie uur afgelopen zondagmiddag.
Het object had een grootte van zo’n tien meter en de landing zou plaatsgevonden hebben in de buurt van de Chinese stad Chongqin.
Het bericht vervolgt met dat nadat de Amerikanen dit bekendgemaakt hadden Peking onmiddellijk alle berichtgeving omtrent “het incident” blokkeerde.
Ook wordt in het bericht gezegd dat de Amerikanen niet uitsluiten dat het hier gaat om een buitenaards ruimtevaartuig. Maar, zeggen ze erbij, het kan ook een geheim ruimtevaartexperiment van de Chinezen zelf zijn.
Het vreemde is dat op het hele internet verder niets te vinden is over een eventuele landing van een UFO in Chongqin. Meestal als dit soort berichten worden verspreid dan wemelt het op het web van de speculaties. Nu echter niets van dat alles.
Mocht iemand wél meer informatie hebben omtrent dit “incident” dan horen wij dat graag.
Als je gaat zoeken overigens dan kom je wel een aantal eerdere incidenten tegen met UFO’s en de Chinese plaats Chongqin.

Deze luchthaven werd vanwege een UFO toen een behoorlijke tijd gesloten.

A week back, media across the world reported that a man had spotted a UFO while browsing through Google Earth. The pink UFO had an alien head popping out of it. Creepy! Many of us do not believe that life exists beyond earth. I would say that those people are arrogant who think that intelligent life can only and only exist here. Many are also skeptical as most of these sightings are mainly reported from the USA. Well, it’s not that aliens only like to visit Area 51; UFO’s have been sighted across the world, including India. In fact, it is rumoured that there is a UFO base in the Himalayas along Indo-China border. But no one knows how much of this is true. Aliens may not know that our world is divided into continents and countries. The area covered by America is much more than area covered by any other country, therefore more sightings are reported from there. Moreover, people in the rural and remote areas in India, still do not have proper communication channels or connectivity; leave aside internet or smart phones to report such incidents.
Flying saucers are not a recent phenomenon. Our ancient scriptures and religious texts mention such incidents in plenty. Be it Mahabharata or Ramayana, you will find mention of flying saucers or vimanas easily. Pushpak being the most known. These mentions are corroborated by other ancient civilization texts as well. Only a few years ago, the Chinese discovered some Sanskrit documents in Lhasa, Tibet and sent them to the University of Chandrigarh to be translated. Dr. Ruth Reyna from the University said that the documents contain directions for building interstellar spaceships! Their method of propulsion, she said, was “anti- gravitational”. There is science, which is still unknown to us but was available to our ancestors. Dr. Roberto Pinotti, Italian scientist says, “Certain descriptions of the Vimanas in the Indian scriptures seemed too detailed and technical in nature to be labeled a myth. He cited various tests to show there were 32 secrets relating to the operation of Vimanas, some of which could be compared to modern day use of radar, solar energy and photography.”

But before I start, let me clarify that UFO means Unidentified Flying Objects which may be alien or otherwise. Radar usually intercepts flying objects which have metal parts in it. And not all reported UFO sightings are true. 90 per cent of them are false and baseless. Here is the list of the top 15 UFO sightings in India:
1. Ladakh -2013: Last year saw a huge uproar on the India – China border where Indian army men saw yellow orbs lifting up in the sky from the Chinese side. They reported such sighting from the Lagan Khel area in Demchok in Ladakh. Drones were sent out to investigate if they were weather balloons or Chinese lanterns but nothing was concluded. Few even thought that those were spy cameras or humanoids flying around the area to test new technology. Since then 100 such sightings were reported. Chinese denied any such interventions. Later government officials asked the astrophysicist to look into the matter who reported that those orbs were planets Venus and Jupiter. It might be true or a government cover-up. I am sure Indian army has enough hi-tech equipment and intelligence to ascertain if the orbs were stars or something alarming.
2. Chikhaldhara, Maharashtra – 2013: Pratyush Kumar from Delhi saw a UFO with his family while on vacation. He described it as a cone shaped orange lit vehicle which moved away within seconds.
3. Kannur, Bangalore – 2013: Divya Sebastian, and Major Sebastian Zachariah, an Army officer saw a space ship while on their vacation to Kannur. Though, astrophysicists have out rightly denied this report and called it a hoax. But the couple persists that while checking features for his new HTC phone Major Sebastian was able to capture the UFO in one of the frames. He didn’t see it with naked eye. Nay sayers say such apps are available across android market which can merge two images easily. Even few said that at times the phone’s technical aspects are unknown to a new user and he must have merged two images by mistake. But those who have used HTC say that such errors cannot occur with a high-end phone like HTC 1. You decide if it’s true or false.
4. Agra, Uttar Pradesh – 2013: An online video was posted in April showing unidentified flying object very close to the white marbled Taj Mahal, monument in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It sent ripples in the media as many confused the two individual reports of UFO sightings in India (Army sights UFO in Ladakh and this one) and came up with their own version – “Indian army saw UFO over Taj Mahal” which was absolutely false. Later, it was discovered that the video was fake and the original video was shot in 2010 which didn’t have any UFO in it. Though, there are people who claim that it is true and it will not be surprising to see alien activity around Taj Mahal which still has a lot of mystery surrounding it. Many claim that Taj Mahal is built on an old Shiva Temple. Hinduism is the oldest religion which has passed on many secrets from the ancient world.
5. Rishikesh, Uttrakhand – 2013:Cigar-shaped Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were seen hovering over Rishikesh city. The witness (RabdaBanda) also claimed the sighting was accompanied by the sound of a sudden thunderstorm which was “very strong”. One video of the sighting uploaded by the user has been edited to make it five to six times slower for better visibility of the UFO. The user also uploaded the original video footage later.
6.Bangalore – 2008: On 24 April, 2008, Afzal Khan from Jayanagar saw a bright, slow-moving object which looked like a group of lights moving in a triangular formation in the sky towards west/north-west direction at 9 – 9:30 pm. This object was definitely not an airplane as it was moving very slowly. It later disappeared but he managed to capture a few images. ibnlive had put those images on their page which seems to have been removed now.
7. Kolkata – 2007: Farhan Akhtar, a senior executive of a private company, Kolkata saw a shape shifting UFO in early hours of one October morning. He was able to capture the UFO on his handycam. The object emitted a bright light forming a halo and radiated a range of colours. It was spotted by many people and hundreds gathered along the E.M. Bypass to catch a glimpse of the UFO, triggering a frenzy.
8. Delhi – 2007: On March 7, 2007, air traffic control radars in Delhi picked up two unidentified flying objects over Delhi moving northwest to south between 9: 30 am and 10:00 am (IST). Sources told CNN-IBN that both the objects were flying seven miles apart. They flew over Safdarjung before heading east and vanishing off the radar. Both the ATC and the Air Force tried to establish radio contact with them, but failed. The UFOs flew just above the Safdarjung Airport. But what raised serious concern in the security establishment is the fact that the Prime Minister’s house is just 2 km from the spot and so are the other high-security areas.
9. Aurangabad, Maharashtra – 2006: Satyam Tallapalli K. and Vijay Gujarathi A. had witnessed a huge UFO above the caves of Ellora that vanished within seconds. He took his mobile phone and immediately captured a picture before it left every one horrified.
10. Hyderabad – 2005: Anirudh Kashikar and Harish Mahenderkar confirmed a UFO sighting in Hyderabad, India. They saw round disc object hovering over the evening sky. Both live around 1000 feet apart from each other and both observed the phenomena independently.
11. Ladakh – 2004: 100 kms south of the Lahaul-Spiti valley, a group of geologists and glaciologists linked to the nation’s Space Applications Centre were exploring the mountainous region when they spotted a four-foot tall “robot-like” humanoid figure stalking the valley edge 50 metres from them for about 40 minutes, before jetting off and disappearing from sight. Despite 14 people witnessing the mysterious spectacle including six scientists and passing film footage to intelligence units and the army, the matter, says India Today, was “buried”.
12. New Delhi – 2000: On 8 April at 11:55 p.m. a crowd of people in New Delhi at the Indira Gandhi International airport saw a luminous yellow-orange cigar-shaped object. The UFO hovered over the air cargo terminal, wobbled and then disappeared.
13. Chennai – 1991: Two witnesses Mr. Nikhil and Mr. Sabu confirmed and reported a UFO sighting. The sighting lasted 45 minutes from 9.30 pm till 10.15 pm on 11 October 1991 starting with the descent of a huge gigantic oval shaped object that hovered slowly and descended to approximately 500 feet above ground, the object was dark with bronze / gold edging under some sort of intermittent cloaking device. Presumably since it was damaged or malfunctioning. The description of the UFO closely matched that of the sighting by Japan Airways flight 1628 over Anchorage Alaska in 1987. It was very large about the size of 2 city blocks, or 1-2 kilometers long, due to the proximity to the ground several alien shadows could be seen through the band of windows in the center of the object. These aliens with thin human like elongated bodies and long arms were quickly moving about suggesting an emergency, the spaceship tumbled for a few seconds until it righted itself, gained height and then vanished into the upper sky at astonishing speed.
Shortly thereafter within a second, two long cylinder like objects black in color with red exhausts about 100 meters long about the size of a fuselage of a commuter jet with a sharp pencil like silhouette appeared and were hunting for the large ship for about 10 minutes in the area going back and forth in a patrolling like pattern, independent of each other, criss-crossing the area where the ship was before. These UFOs then left the area in the same way vanishing at extreme speed as the large spaceship. Several air force military aircraft then arrived in a few seconds after the departure of all the UFO’s. This confirms that the UFO’s had registered on the defense radars and that aircraft were scrambled to intercept the UFO’s. The military aircraft remained on the scene for at least 20 minutes – the whole time-line from first sighting to departure of military jets was 45 minutes. The sighting was reported to the local newspaper the Hindu but was not investigated; both witnesses sketched the same drawings to confirm that they had seen the same objects.
14. Manbhum, Bihar – 1954: On 15 September a flying saucer was seen in the afternoon by about 800 people in three villages (Kadori, Borsa and Mangalda) in Manbhum district of Bihar. Mr Ijapada Chatterjee, manager of a mica mine, told The Times of India that the UFO was about 12 feet in diameter and grey in colour. The object descended to an altitude of about 500 feet, hovered for a few minutes and then soared upwards at an incredible speed, causing a tremendous blow of wind.
15. Delhi – 1951: On 15 March at 10:20 a.m. in New Delhi 25 members of a flying club George F Floate, Chief Aerial officer, along with his two assistants saw a cigar-shaped object in the sky at the Delhi Flying Club hanger which was about one hundred foot long. The UFO hovered and then vanished from sight within seconds.
I am sure there are many cases which go unreported or have been buried due to international policies. But there is no denying the fact that sometimes we do get extra-terrestrial visitors. Many videos are uploaded on Youtube with the tag “UFO sightings in India”. But no one knows how authentic are these clips. What do you think? Are UFO’s for real?

The advancement of electronics has inevitably led to aircraft that can fly themselves without the vulnerable and heavyweight human pilot that all conventional aircraft need. Drones are often guided by an operator who can fly the aircraft remotely from the ground, sometimes a considerable distance away; or they can operate automatically, controlled completely by their onboard computer according to pre-programmed instructions (I don't know who had the idea of using the same word for an unmanned aircraft as we do for a male bee). As always when it comes to this kind of technology, swords very quickly get beaten into ploughshares. The companies which pioneered the manufacture of drones for the military have adapted their designs. The US Department of Homeland Security, the US Coastguard, NASA and the FBI are all either using drones or have intentions to get hold of them. Drones give surveillance, police and military forces abilities that they'd never have enjoyed without them, they can now go places remotely that they could never reach in person and strike with complete impunity at enemies that would otherwise be invulnerable. The Russian navy has announced through RT that it is introducing undersea drones. These will be deployed from its new Yasen-class nuclear-powered attack submarines and its fifth generation successors. These are carried on board the submarine where they are released and travel offline to wherever they're needed; then they can be activated on command by a radio signal, see: http://rt.com/news/214563-robot-drone-russia-submarine/. There are practical difficulties with submarine drones because while underwater it's much harder to maintain radio contact with them, unlike aircraft drones in the air. The robot would have to keep an aerial sticking above the surface of the sea to pick up its operator's instructions; either that or it would need to trail a wire to its mother ship or be communicated with using ultrasonic transmissions which could be picked up by the enemy. However it's perfectly possible that these new submarine drones may have more advanced autonomous control systems than we're currently familiar with; perhaps more advanced than is currently declassified in the public domain. The onboard computer alone might be enough for the robot to carry out various missions without any human input at all. Could these devices already be in service secretly, in the same way as the Aurora spyplane? If so this puts a whole new angle on the recent events in the Baltic Sea where unknown submarines were detected in Swedish territorial waters,
Perhaps those subs were just dropping off drones, in which case Sweden's sovereign seas could still be illegally occupied by unmanned electronic monsters up to God-knows-what. What's more, it may not be just Russia that uses them. If the same follows with submarine drones as followed in the aircraft industry, pretty soon the police, intelligence and other agencies will want them too. We could see robotic underwater spies in rivers lakes and reservoirs right here in England. With the advancement of technology and miniaturization how long will it be before the surveillance state will have autonomous devices that can swim along sewers and water pipes to invade your home and spy on you? This gives me a creepy feeling. Imagine looking down into a toilet bowl and seeing a fibre optic camera staring up at you.

Files from one of the U.S. Air Force’s official investigations of UFOs are in the spotlight. Although these files have been available for decades, they were recently added to a website in a much more user-friendly manner. Also, astronomers detected a strange radio signal that has them perplexed. These stories and more on this episode of Spacing Out!
Robert “Bob” Lazaris the owner of United Nuclear Scientific Equipment and Supplies. Lazar also claims to have worked as a scientist and engineer, reverse engineering extraterrestrial technology at a site called S4, in the Emigrant Valley and Old Kelley Mine area, near the Area 51 test facility.
In October of 2014, Dutchsinse filed a freedom of information request with the Department of the Navy / Office of Naval Research / Naval Research Laboratories for information on H.A.A.R.P.
On January 22, 2015 a packet of information was delivered to his house with several documents honoring his information request!

“Artificial Ionosheric Plasma Clouds Using HAARP”. This is the topic for the video Dutchsinse made back in 2013!
“Plasma ball generated inside polyhedral cavity resonator with an external Microwave field” — USING 2.45GHz microwave RADAR at to control plasma rings/spheres.
Controlling rings of plasma using 2.45GHz RADAR is the exact description of what a “HAARP ring” is.
“HAARP ring” was a slang term I came up with to describe strange pulsing rings (spheres / bubbles) to appear over RADAR stations operating at 2.4GHz.
RADAR stations were (are) producing these “HAARP rings” high above the transmitter stations. The rings showed up as circular on RADAR due to a reflection of frequency occurring when these “plasma rings / bubbles” are formed in the atmosphere.
This paper proves Dutchsinse’s theories are right 100%. That RADAR can induce plasma over the transmitter and that plasma takes the shape of a bubble/circle/ring above the antenna emitting pulses at 2.4GHz.
This is profound proof that RADAR (like NEXRAD used by the national weather service) can indeed be causing unintentional plasma discharges. HAARP rings are not just a glitch on the screen, they are areas of plasma occurring along the perimeter of the transmission where the 2.4GHz interacts with the upper atmosphere going into the ionosphere.
In essence, RADAR is causing a stripping of electrons in the upper atmosphere, which then forms into invisible plasma (the precursor to lightning – electron buildup).
The plasma buildup occurs at the perimeter of the “sphere” or 3D ring area of coverage from a transmitting tower. When we see a “HAARP ring” RADAR pulse, it takes the shape of the “ring” around the transmitter…. at the edge where the ring can be seen as a RETURN ON THE RADAR … the “return” we are seeing is a reflection of energy itself.
The Navy has found that plasma actually REFLECTS radio frequency like a mirror. They can use one frequency (a Microwave) to strip electrons in the atmosphere, which those stripped electrons then act like a reflective surface which can take a radio wave and bounce it in any direction the electron mirror is facing.
Thus, the “reflection” at the perimeter of the weather RADAR, when they are pulses excessive pulses of 2.4GHz microwaves, becomes overcharged with stripped electrons.
Those stripped electrons form into ‘HAARP rings’ above the National Weather Service RADAR towers. Causing weather modification by another process called CCN (cloud condensation nuclei) formation.
CCN forms around dust normally, but they have found that stripped electrons will also attract molecules of H2O, forming clouds, and weather.
They have also found that excessive electrons can induce ACTUAL visible lightning, and if targeted can produce VISIBLE plasma in the atmosphere.
They have found that they can “pump up” the plasma bubble once formed with another RADAR elsewhere. Target the bubble with another 2.4Ghz signal, and the bubble can be moved, or controlled.
Since the National Weather Service is pulsing 2.4Ghz signals…. the reason tornadoes are coming towards their towers, and hitting the airports where RADAR is being used, is because the MAGNETIC discharge of the electron precipitation is drawing in the weather due to the magnetic charge of the sky being a polar opposite than the charge of the ground where the pulse is coming from (the RADAR tower).
This paper proves all the theories correct, since they did the experiments to prove these theories at HAARP itsel, using 2.4GHz RADAR’s as well.

“It was getting awfully late and still I had not interviewed Arthur Shuttlewood. My voice was getting weaker, my head clogged up due to the cool dampness. I got his attention and we crawled into one of the nearby cars to keep warm while I interviewed him. He was telling me that, only a few nights ago, three large entities about eight feet in height were seen down in a little hollow, to which he pointed. While in their presence, people felt a great warmth exuded from them; they were engulfed by it and the scent of roses and violets was very strong. All of a sudden, while Arthur was speaking, his conversation went to a peculiar light that just appeared in the field in front of us. He was somewhat blasé about the whole thing . . .
“Arthur then said quietly: ‘I'm very glad you are here tonight, Bryce. There in front of us is a UFO. Notice the triangle shape and colored lights going around? That is a very good sign.’ It then started to lift off in a weird pattern — then just disappeared. I was flabbergasted! It was so close. While describing that one on tape for American listeners, another one popped up about 25 degrees along the horizon. This one was very brilliant white, while the other was a blaze of colored lights. The intensity increased as it raised itself very slowly, did a little dance in the sky, then took off and disappeared. But before it did, Arthur jumped from the car, borrowed a flashlight from someone and sent Morse code to it. It in turn sent back the same signal that Arthur flashed out. Then it flew off. This was the highlight of my British trip: a close sighting; yet I honestly felt spiritually close to the lights in the field.”
Bryce had begun interviewing other watchers as to what they witnessed when he suddenly felt called away once more.
“I turned off the recorder and made a mad dash out into the field, went into a light trance state and asked higher intelligence to make contact again. Leaving the group, I made my way down to the hollow, where two nights before three entities were seen. Again I went into a light trance state for what seemed to be a few minutes only . . . I was awakened by my friends, who thought I had gone. I must have been there for about an hour. I truly do not know what transpired while I was there or in trance. I told my friends I would return shortly and they went back to where the others were standing. I then made my way slowly back to the parked cars and people. Now here is a strange thing: the wheat in the field next to me as I walked back up the dirt road was about waist high . . .
“I walked along the road very close to the fence. Suddenly I heard a noise — like something crushing the wheat down. There was no breeze blowing that night. I looked over. The moon had just come out, shining very brightly — and there, before my eyes, a large depression was being formed. The wheat was being crushed down in a counterclockwise position. It too was shaped like a triangle and measured about twenty feet from point to point. I stood there a few moments and experienced a tremendous tingling sensation — the same sweet smell — being engulfed by warm air. Not fully understanding what had happened, I walked up the road to get Arthur, my host.
“Speaking of the field, Arthur pointed out some landing impressions in the section fronting the farm barn: a circle about thirty feet in circumference, with another depression spotted, but this one in a long cigar shape. All the depressions, recently made and noticed, were in a counterclockwise fashion. After all this, I was very happy and thankful. My mission had been a success.”
Bryce never wavers in his belief that he has contacted something compassionate and loving in the fields near Warminster. Later in the new book, he writes, “None of us seemed to feel fear. Perhaps we didn’t have time for fear, or perhaps it just didn’t exist in this dimension of consciousness and contact. Perhaps these beings created a state of Samadhi, the experience of ultimate union with the source of creation, called God, higher consciousness, the Supreme; whatever the name, the feeling of total oneness is the same. Somehow we had been guided to this destination at this specific time to make contact with these extraterrestrial intelligences and to share in the extraordinary experience together.”
This shared sensation of bliss – absent any sort of fear – is not always the case for UFO witnesses. Many sighting and abduction reports tend to be all about the terror of encountering a phenomenon that is nonhuman, supremely intelligent, and able to hold us helplessly spellbound even as it defies what we believe are the natural laws of space and time.
But the way in which Bryce and Shuttlewood and the rest of the group were having such a pleasant time of it is also not without precedent, as in the contactee accounts that began to proliferate in the 1950s. One recalls the Betty Andreasson Luca case, beginning in 1967, in which a New England housewife and other members of her family were regularly abducted over many years by what Betty continues to feel are benevolent aliens preparing the way for the Second Coming of Jesus.
Bryce quotes Arthur Shuttlewood thusly on the subject: “I think the UFO intelligence is essentially of God. But man must sink his ego before he can get the truth.”
Beckley has also added the elegiac recollections of two of Bryce’s old friends to “UFOs: Key To Inner Perfection.” One of those friends is Marc Brinkerhoff, who contributes a pencil drawing he made for Bryce depicting his late friend’s face-to-face encounter with both a gray alien and a human-looking, female alien. The event had taken place during a later trip to Warminster by Bryce in 1974, and Marc provides a brief but relatively detailed account of the meeting between Bryce and the friendly UFO occupants.
Psychic Shawn Robbins writes about discovering Bryce’s dedicated interest to UFOs one day when they were conversing about Jimmy Carter’s famous sighting experience in 1969 as he was campaigning for the governorship of Georgia. Bryce opened up and told Shawn that he’d been in a kind of mental contact with UFOs for many years, but Shawn felt that he was trying to establish a psychic bond with the aliens through her as well. After all his years of encounters with the UFO occupants, Bryce somehow still felt like an “outsider” even as he struggled to communicate the reality of the alien presence to the people. Shawn believes that mission was accomplished by Bryce’s books.
Bryce died in January 1992 at the age of 63 from a brain aneurism. He had been due to give a short lecture on metaphysics and healing at the United Nations that day, and when the always punctual and reliable Bryce didn’t show up on time nor answer his phone, Marc decided it was time to call the police. Bryce was discovered collapsed in his home and taken to a New York City hospital, where he was kept on life support for several days. Marc claims to have had an out-of-the-body meeting with Bryce in which Bryce appeared youthful and vigorous but concerned about what was happening to his body. Shortly after this otherworldly encounter, Bryce was taken off life support and passed away.
Perhaps Timothy Green Beckley is right when he says the publication of “UFOs: Keys To Inner Perfection” may have been guided by Bryce Bond from some heavenly location. The various components of the new book have come together after the passage of many years and now form something like a completed puzzle. The final pieces were the newly discovered manuscript and the testimonies of those who knew and loved Bryce. One can only hope that, after meeting the aliens and preaching unconditional love, Bryce has found it for himself and is still able to lead others to it.
UK SIGHTINGS HOT SPOT DRAWS CELEBRITIES LIKE DAVID BOWIE AND MICK JAGGER AT HEIGHT OF UFO FLAP
The story of how the new reprint of the late Bryce Bond’s book “UFOs: Key To Inner Perfection” came about is almost as interesting as the book itself. It started in late 2014 when Inner Light/Global Communications CEO Timothy Green Beckley received an all-too-rare order for Bryce’s book on the impact that UFO contact had had on his philosophical and metaphysical perceptions of himself and humanity in general.
In his introduction to the recent updated and expanded edition, Beckley writes of how he first met Bryce in the mid-1960s. At the time, Beckley, along with his partner in crime, the late Jim Moseley, was organizing small meetings for a flying saucer club in midtown Manhattan. Bryce was working as a deejay at New York radio station WTFM, where he eschewed rock and roll and played mainly standards like Frank Sinatra. Bryce had a mild interest in UFOs and would announce news of the flying saucer club meetings on the air free of charge.
During one of their brief conversations, with “Old Blue Eyes” crooning in the background, Bryce told Beckley he was going to England soon for a vacation. Bryce asked Beckley if he knew of any suggestions about what to do there, things that were off the beaten track and not just the usual “touristy” fare.
Beckley had just published a book by British journalist Arthur Shuttlewood called “UFO Prophecy” that dealt with an enormous wave of sightings then taking place in a small hamlet called Warminster, located on the Salisbury Plain a stone’s throw from Stonehenge.
Eventually thousands of ordinary witnesses would observe “The Thing,” which one of the more mysterious Warminster UFOs had been dubbed by the local press. Several celebrities also made their way to the top of Warminster landmark Cradle Hill to see what they might see, including Mick Jagger and David Bowie. Beckley dashed off a letter of introduction for Bryce and air-mailed it to Shuttlewood.
“The next thing I heard,” Beckley writes, “was that the two gentlemen had gotten along rather famously and that Bryce had become, in essence, Shuttlewood’s sky-watching buddy. Word came back to me from several sources that Bryce had not only seen a UFO but that he had felt the psychic energies given off by standing inside a crop circle, one of the early ones at that, and that he had had several unexplainable experiences which are detailed throughout the pages of this book.”
Bryce’s experiences in Warminster over the years included several “missing time” episodes and he was also brought onboard a landed space pod for a brief sojourn among the crew members. As Shuttlewood told it, there was an incident in which Bryce was absent from the group of sky-watchers for a period of hours. But, upon his return, Bryce stated that he felt he’d been gone a much shorter time.
Beckley writes that such an experience might shake up almost anyone, but Bryce’s response was one of elation, of suddenly being high on life. Almost immediately upon returning to New York, he quit his job at WTFM, saying he could no longer do anything as superficial as spin Frank Sinatra records. Bryce had to be free to help others and save humanity.
Bryce began to lecture at Beckley’s New York School of Occult Arts and Sciences, became an instructor for Silva Mind Control and a well-known faith healer in the area.
“UFOs had changed his life,” Beckley writes, “as they have for many other individuals – both positively and negatively. Sometime later, Bryce began working on a book he called ‘Keys to Inner Perfection’ which he asked me to publish and which I did. There was nothing really significant about UFOs in the book, but I felt that what Bryce had to say was important enough to print a small edition of 2,000 copies.”
That first book is reprinted in the new Inner Light/Global Communications release. It reads like a sort of “alien-inspired” self-help book in which Bryce tries to teach the open-minded reader to realign one’s consciousness with the cosmos. Which admittedly is not easy to do, even with help from the flying saucer occupants. He also preaches the always worthy sentiments of unselfishness and unconditional love for one’s fellow man and the world in general.
“Unfortunately,” Beckley writes, “Bryce Bond never lived to see his book published. He passed away less than a month before the cartons arrived at our warehouse from the printer. I was always sad about this fact as I knew Bryce had put his heart and soul into preparing this publication.”
The book sold moderately well over the next couple of decades, but some of that small initial press run were consumed by bad weather and hungry rodents who had infested Beckley’s warehouse. When Beckley received the aforementioned order with only the one copy on his shelves, he decided to return the customer’s money and tell the person they were going to reissue the book. Beckley then handed the book over to William Kern, one of his graphics people, to have it scanned.
Then, as “luck” would have it, Beckley was going through his extensive files and came across a dusty black binder. He realized it was a partially-edited, typewritten manuscript by none other than Bryce on his experiences in the U.K. Beckley vaguely remembered that Bryce had given him the book around the time he had submitted the “Keys To Inner Perfection” manuscript and asked Beckley to publish it at a later date if he could. The pages were now brittle and had changed color from white to a brownish-yellow.
This newly discovered, detailed account of the UFO encounters that had led to “Keys To Inner Perfection” would add more depth and meaning to the reprinting project. It was now apparent that UFOs had impacted Bryce’s life more than he had let on.
“Frankly,” Beckley writes, “I can’t help but believe that somehow Bryce was behind all this. As he looked down from some lofty place in space or a heavenly realm, I am sure he wanted others to discover the glory of his transformation experiences so they might experience their own. I think Bryce put me up to doing this because his complete story was never really told. I realized the work needed to be updated and a ‘final’ version published.”
The “lost” manuscript is a gripping narrative of what happened to Bryce as he took his leap of faith and visited the paranormal-soaked world of the small British hamlet.
“Warminster, at this time of night,” Bryce writes, “even for a Saturday, was somewhat deserted. Only a few people ambled along the narrow streets. I felt that I had eyes on me all the way. It was a most unusual feeling. The small narrow streets, with high brick walls, sky overcast, and the town strangely quiet — maybe a prelude to what I was about to experience that night! After walking a short distance through narrow archways and flower-lined paths, I was amazed how lovely it smelled and how clean it was. On the hill, some of the group had their telescopes set up on tripods; others had binoculars and cameras ready.
“The thing that really struck me was how friendly everyone was. A good portion are very curious, another percentage are thrill-seekers, and the remainder, well, they just enjoyed being there with this warm, loving group of spiritual individuals, sharing stories and conversations . . . UFOs have been here for eons of years. History is filled with reports of strange glowing craft, of landings and contactees. But due to negative programming regarding these ancients, and fear of the unknown being magnified out of all proportion from mouth to mouth, it spread right into modern times. Only in these times we blame television and motion pictures for doing the damage: creating near mass-panic in the mind, showing these UFOs as hostile, coming down from the heavens to devour, murder and rape — and to gobble us up!
“This travesty of beings who are thousands or even millions of years ahead of us in technology, intelligence and spiritual intent. . . . What the masses do not understand, they fear. When they fear, they shoot and run. There are numerous reports that UFOs were shot at, out of panic — even by the military. Put yourselves in their shoes and think: What would you do if you went to their planet, or dimension, or universe, or another period in time? We drove over to Starr Hill, another ancient burial ground area. This sector is where the Romans built upon, with a few of the remnants still in evidence. The location was down in a valley, wheat fields all around and high hills. The sky started to clear, filled with thousands of beautiful stars and still no UFOs . . .

In de Amerikaanse staat Montana is een hoorn van een Triceratops gevonden die gedateerd is op 33.500 jaar oud. De vondst druist in tegen de algemeen geaccepteerde opvatting dat dinosaurussen 65 miljoen jaar zijn uitgestorven. Deelde de mens de aarde duizenden jaren geleden met dino’s?
De hoorn is in mei 2012 opgegraven en wordt bewaard in een museum. Het fossiel is gedateerd door de Universiteit van Georgia. Aan de hand van C14-datering werd vastgesteld dat verschillende fragmenten van de hoorn 33.500 jaar oud zijn.
Triceratops, wat ‘driehoorngezicht’ betekent, is een geslacht van plantenetende dinosaurussen die tijdens het late Krijt in het huidige Noord-Amerika leefde. Men vermoedt dat Triceratops 66 miljoen geleden is uitgeroeid door de inslag van een meteoriet. Wetenschappers van de Paleochronology Group stellen dat de dinosaurussen niet miljoenen jaren geleden zijn uitgestorven en dat er afdoende bewijs is waaruit blijkt dat ze 23.000 jaar geleden nog leefden.
De C14-dateringsmethode wordt pas sinds kort gebruikt om de ouderdom van dinosaurusbotten te bepalen. Wetenschappers dateren ze doorgaans door vulkanische lagen onder of boven de fossielen te dateren, een methode die volgens de Paleochronology Group erg onnauwkeurig is.
De groep heeft nog meer dinosaurusbotten onderzocht, die allemaal duizenden in plaats van miljoenen jaren oud zouden zijn. Talrijke onafhankelijke onderzoekers zeggen dat er bewijs is dat de mens en dinosaurussen ooit samen over de aarde zwierven.
In maart 2005 schreef paleontoloog Mary Schweitzer in vakblad Science over de ontdekking van zacht weefsel in het been van een 68 miljoen jaar oude Tyrannosaurus rex. De vondst leidde tot controverse omdat wetenschappers aannemen dat eiwitten in zacht weefsel hooguit één miljoen jaar lang bewaard kunnen blijven.
De groep heeft de wetenschappelijke gemeenschap uitgedaagd het onderzoek te herhalen. Tot nu toe heeft niemand de uitdaging aangenomen. Alle pogingen om de onderzoeksresultaten te presenteren zijn tegengehouden.

UFO-experts beweren dat op bovenstaande foto is te zien hoe een ingenieur aan Marswagen Curiosity sleutelt. Volgens hen kan het bewijs zijn voor leven op de rode planeet. Dat meldt de Britse krant Metro.
Onderzoekers menen dat op de foto een schaduw van een mensachtig wezen in een ruimtepak is te zien. Hij zou geen helm dragen en ook zouden zijn zuurstoffles en korte haar te zien zijn. Op andere foto’s die rond hetzelfde tijdstip zijn gemaakt, is de figuur niet te zien.
Complotdenkers hebben eerder al gezegd dat volgens hen op Mars ‘niet-aardse officieren’ van het Pentagon zijn gestationeerd. Dat zou onder meer blijken uit geheime documenten die zijn opgedoken door de Schotse UFO-hacker Gary McKinnon. Hij wordt beschuldigd van de grootste militaire computerkraak in de Amerikaanse geschiedenis.

Tegenover Wired Magazine verklaarde McKinnon dat hem documenten onder ogen waren gekomen waarin werd gesproken over het bestaan van 30 ‘niet-aardse officieren’. “Ik kreeg toegang tot Excel-bestanden. Eén daarvan was getiteld ‘Niet-Aardse Officieren’. Er stonden namen en rangen in van luchtmachtmedewerkers die nergens anders waren te vinden,” zei hij.
Schrijver Nigel Watson zei dat de nieuwe foto’s aansluiten op het verhaal van ‘Jackie’, een voormalige NASA-medewerker die in de jaren zeventig naar eigen zeggen mannen in ruimtepakken heeft gezien bij de Viking Explorer op Mars.
“Complotdenkers zullen zeggen dat Mars veel geschikter is voor menselijk leven dan wetenschappers doen vermoeden en dat het een cover-up is om ons in het duister te houden over bases op Mars en elders in het zonnestelsel,” zei hij. “Ik denk dat men in dit geval ziet wat men wil zien.”
