Triangle UFO filmed over Santa Clara, California 15-Feb-2015

New footage of a triangle-shaped formation hovering in the night sky above Santa Clara in California. This was taken on Sunday, 15th February 2015.

Witness report: This took place at about 11PM. I was heading southbound on Lawrence Expwy and started filming at about the top of the bridge above El Camino Real. There was absolutely no sound when I saw this flying object. As I approached closer to it I became very surprised. That’s when I started speaking. This flying object had basically stopped in the air and was hovering very close to a house. It was basically hovering in a residential like area. The area was right around Benton and Lawrence Expwy on the side towards the new Apple headquarters.

I stopped filming because this big wall protecting the residential area from the Expressway blocked me. Also, I had merged all the way to the right and did not want to stay there.

I quickly took a U-Turn to capture more footage and find out what it really was. It had completely vanished. I even drove all the way back to the top of the bridge over El Camino Real. Nothing.

Drove up to the top of the Kaiser Permanente hospital parking lot building. Still no sight of it anymore. It was just gone.

Still wondering what the hell it was.

As I was driving I didn’t get a chance to get a full 100% view of it. From what I remember it was somewhat triangle in shape. Also metal like. It almost seemed like a big part of it what somewhat translucent. Maybe it was the lighting from the street lamps reflecting off it? Like I said, it seemed very low to the ground. Maybe even 50 yards from the top of the houses.

It was a hot summer’s night on July 23, 2012 when a resident on the south side of Kuna saw something in the sky he couldn’t explain.  “I was standing outside of my house on the front porch looking at the stars while talking with my mother-in-law,” he reported to a UFO website www.UFOStalker.com. “She said, ‘Look at that,’ and when I looked up I saw a large oval shaped light, and it flew extremely fast right over the top of our neighborhood from North to south. It was not man made, the speed it was traveling was outrageously fast, and made NO sound at all.  “It couldn’t have been more than 500 feet above us, unless it was so large that it looked low to the ground, but I am pretty sure it was lower to the ground judging from where it was in the sky in relation to the stars in the sky.

At first I tried to rationally explain away what we had both just saw, but there is no explanation for it. With my background as a Marine Crash Fire Rescue Specialist it was required of us to know everything about every aircraft that we encountered in the military, and I know for a fact that I have never seen or heard of anything like this before. 

“We lost sight of it after it flew over our house, and I ran to the back yard to see if I could see the tail end of it, but it was moving so fast that it was gone when I got to the back yard.”  There are many sightings of unidentified objects in the skies above Kuna and Melba. A quick search online found many reports to various online UFO websites in recent years. The National UFO Reporting Center, just one of many online sites that record witnesses experiences, reported eight sightings in Kuna and one in Melba since 2012. There are many more from the surrounding area. Be sure to look up!

De beroemde Phoenix Lights zijn terug ( update-video )

Phoenix in de Amerikaanse staat Arizona is met recht een UFO hotspot te noemen.

Na de beroemde Phoenix Lights uit 1997 heeft het er alle schijn van dat deze lichten weer helemaal terug zijn.

Het blijft ongemeen spannend op UFO gebied in de Amerikaanse stad Phoenix.

Een dag voordat de opnames werden gemaakt zoals die te zien zijn in het onderstaande originele artikel, werd de navolgende fascinerende video gemakat.

Drie jongens liepen in de wijk Sunnyslope van de stad Phoenix en waren onderweg naar het huis van een vriend.

Toen zagen ze het volgende:

Is het één groot moederschip of is het een serie kleinere UFO’s in formatie?

De volgende video is in principe dezelfde opname, maar dan met meer uitvergrotingen.

Hoe dan ook, de vreemde lichten zijn terug in Phoenix.

Het verhaal begint met de wereldberoemde Phoenix Lights op 13 maart 1997. Een fenomeen waarvan duizenden mensen getuige waren zoals wij eerder schreven.

Misschien wel één van de meest besproken UFO waarnemingen ooit betreft The Phoenix Lights.

Hiervan waren duizenden inwoners van de Amerikaanse stad getuige op 13 maart 1997. Mensen zagen deze UFO's in allerlei variaties. Van losse bolvormige objecten tot formaties in een V vorm en/of een driehoeksvorm.

In eerste instantie claimde de luchtmacht verantwoordelijkheid want het zouden fakkels geweest zijn die gebruikt waren als onderdeel van een oefening. Zeventien jaar later bleek dat er die avond helemaal geen vliegtuigen van de luchtmacht in de lucht waren geweest boven Phoenix.

Verder zijn er inmiddels beelden opgedoken van een militaire jet die een eind buiten de stad de UFO’s achterna joeg.

Eind vorig jaar het vreemde verhaal van een vrouw die met haar kind in een park loopt in Phoenix en daar een helikopter ziet die een UFO achterna zit.

En nu zijn zo te zien de originele Phoenix Lights weer terug.

Afgelopen 3 februari reed een stel in de buitenwijken van Phoenix toen ze rechts boven de snelweg een serie vreemde lichten waarnamen.

Lichten die of afzonderlijk waren of die toebehoorden aan één groot schip, maar waarvan duidelijk was dat ze in een bepaalde formatie vlogen. 

Later vervaagde de formatie en op een zeker moment was er nog een grote ronde gloeiende oranjeachtige UFO te zien. 

Er zijn ook hier weer meerdere getuigen die onafhankelijk van elkaar deze lichten hebben waargenomen, zoals in onderstaande video wordt uitgelegd.

Dat er zich vreemde dingen afspelen in de buurt van Phoenix lijkt duidelijk. Ook nu echter weer geen duidelijke antwoorden over wat het is waar we nu eigenlijk mee te maken hebben.

1956 Maui UFO Sighting Report Included in Air Force Files

1956 Maui UFO Sighting Report

A 1956 UFO report from Maui is included in now unclassified documents that were compiled and investigated by the US Air Force.

According to the Air Intelligence Information Report, a 56-year-old retired Lahaina woman reported seeing an orange object with a “flame” and “muffled roar” during the night time hours on Jan. 20, 1956.

According to the report, the woman observed the object coming fast from the distance, then slowing and hovering, and finally fading into the distance into a valley on the Island of Molokaʻi, about 10 miles across the channel.

The report states that the woman observed the object at night for about 25 minutes while looking through a screen window.

Investigators noted that, the “color, size and flight path as described by (the) observer leaves little doubt that (the) object was actually an aircraft.”

The report further stated that, “diffusion and refraction of such lights passing through the dense atmosphere close to the Earth’s surface accounts for observer’s generous estimates of size and color.”

The Air Intelligence Information Report is part of the Project Blue Book from the National Archives Archival Research Catalog that is searchable online at the Fold3 website, which provides access to US military records, including the stories, photos, and personal documents of the men and women who served.

The Project Blue Book includes US Air Force investigations into unidentified flying object sightings reported between June 1947 and December 1969.

A total of 40 documents surface when the search word Hawaiʻi is entered, with reports filed in Hilo, Honolulu, Kauaʻi, Hickam Air Force Base, Waikīkī Beach, ʻEwa Beach, Pearl Harbor, Haleʻiwa, Barbers Point, and Kunia.

UFO communications evident in Vancouver skies

A series of displays from mysterious sky objects recorded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, demonstrated how these entities appeared to possess an uncanny knack for showing up in the right place at the right time whenever the cameras were rolling. Captured over a five-year period, the luminous interactive displays were recorded using two different optical systems, including a professional series digital broadcast camera featuring a redundant triple-sensor array.

According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, semaphore is a method of visual communications employing lights or flags that in late 18th century France utilized telescopes to perform long distance sightings of signals between fixed transmission points. The evidence appears to show that semaphore, an established mode of terrestrial communications utilizing lights and telescopes and the recent Vancouver, British Columbia video utilizing lights and telephoto optics possess more than a few similar traits.

The signaling interactions revealed in the video also appeared to show UFOs offering receipt of transmission acknowledgements like those utilized in data communications networks. Furthermore, synchronization of signals was evident in these instances where a clearly defined order of events occurs after commencement of signal transmission from the ground. These synchronized sequential communications between UFOs and people on the ground appeared to provide local evidence of an emerging global trend. To further clarify, the ordering of these events was depicted on screen as:

2. Receipt of transmission acknowledgement

Contemporary digital data communications between computers on the Internet utilize binary on/off encoding to transmit information in strings of ones and zeroes. A brief exposition on the evolution of binary encoding in human history cites its appearance in the Sanskrit Vedas, the communications logic of German philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz and the Boolean logic of English mathematician George Boole.

The highly publicized 1974 Arecibo message transmitted by professional scientists into space fabricated the popular illusion of mainstream science’s interest in communicating with extraterrestrials. 25 years later it was revealed by Cornell News how this event had less to do with any serious attempt at understanding the subtleties of human-ET communications, offering in their place only a crude unilateral exhibition of the transmission capabilities of that era. As far as communications were concerned, Arecibo was all about affectation in the absence of authenticity.

This reporter had previously concluded that possibly more valid instrumental evidence for ET contact was published to YouTube in 2012 than SETI has produced in the past 40 years, a scenario which apparently eluded teams of scientists struggling to appear relevant during an era of widely-accessible, affordable digital night vision. The suggestion that authentic human-ET communications were taking place outside of the sphere of common public knowledge during the time of Arecibo was highlighted in the 1977 film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” wherein elite operatives of an international shadow governmental body are portrayed using sound and light signals to communicate with ET spacecraft.

In present day contact circles, the theme of elitist politics runs deep through the CSETI culture, whose skywatching protocols apparently require participants to voluntarily surrender their rights to free speech in a country where those rights are protected by constitutional law. A document hosted on the CSETI.org website titled “AGREEMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS IN CSETI’S AMBASSADORS TO THE UNIVERSE TRAINING RETREAT” states unambiguously how signatories “Agree to hold all proceedings of this CSETI Ambassadors to the Universe Training Retreat confidential and agree that it shall not be shared publicly without the prior express written consent of CSETI.”

Are such undemocratic and elitist practices providing a smokescreen of cover for professional misconduct and potentially criminal abuses? Some attendees at the reportedly disastrous 2013 Contact in the Desert UFO conference appeared to believe this to be the case.

The four incidents of clearly illustrated Vancouver UFO communications from the years 2009, 2013 and 2014 depicted in the video “A Pattern of UFO Communications” exceeded one Latin maxim’s consideration for the number three. Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Norman Mineta had illustrated his own plan-detecting methodology by citing the rule of three on a number of occasions as expressed in the maxim “omne trium perfectum” (Latin: “Everything that comes in groups of three is complete”).

“When you see one of something happen, it’s an accident. When you see two of the same thing happening, it’s a trend. When you see three, it’s a plan,” said the former transportation secretary in an on-camera interview posted to YouTube. Click here to watch former United States Secretary of Transportation and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Norman Mineta explain how the rule of three guided his analytic perspective on questions related to national air transportation safety.

To clarify further, in his testimony before the 9/11 commission, Norman Mineta stated the following:

MR. MINETA: Absolutely. And in terms of what motivated me to bring all the aircraft down, as you see one thing happen, that’s an accident. When you see two of the same thing occur, it’s a pattern. But when you see three of the same thing occur, it’s a program. And so at that point I decided to bring all the aircraft down.

During an interview with UC Berkley’s Daily Californian newspaper, the former transportation secretary observed how “If you see one of something occur you consider that an accident. But when you see two of the same thing occur then you know that there is a pattern or a trend. In this instant we had three of the same thing occur, and that is a program or a plan. So I then informed the FAA to bring all the airplanes down.”

By such a Mineta standard reiterated below it can be understood that multiple incidents of UFO communications in Vancouver are no accident and not simply a pattern but are in fact indicative of planned communications leading to the unfoldment of human consciousness and the integration of modern civilization with a larger cosmic society. “Well, when that third one went into the Pentagon, it’s like anything else. If you see one of something it’s an accident. When you see two of the same thing, it’s a pattern or a trend. But when you three — see three of the same thing occurring, then you know it’s a program or a plan.”

The Artificial Womb Is Born: Welcome To The WORLD Of The MATRIX

February 14, 2015 - The artificial womb exists. In Tokyo, researchers have developed a technique called EUFI — extrauterine fetal incubation. They have taken goat fetuses, threaded catheters through the large vessels in the umbilical cord and supplied the fetuses with oxygenated blood while suspending them in incubators that contain artificial amniotic fluid heated to body temperature.

For a moment, as you contemplate those fetal goats, it may seem a short hop to the Central Hatchery of Aldous Huxley’s imagination. In fact, in recent decades, as medicine has focused on the beginning and end stages of pregnancy, the essential time inside the woman’s body has been reduced. We are, however, still a long way from connecting those two points, from creating a completely artificial gestation. But we are at a moment when the fetus, during its obligatory time in the womb, is no longer inaccessible, no longer locked away from medical interventions.


The future of human reproductive medicine lies along the speeding trajectories of several different technologies. There is neonatology, accomplishing its miracles at the too-abrupt end of gestation. There is fetal surgery, intervening dramatically during pregnancy to avert the anomalies that kill and cripple newborns. There is the technology of assisted reproduction, the in-vitro fertilization and gamete retrieval-and-transfer fireworks of the last 20 years. And then, inevitably, there is genetics. All these technologies are essentially new, and with them come ethical questions so potent that the very inventors of these miracles seem half-afraid of where we may be heading.

Between Womb and Air

Modern neonatology is a relatively short story: a few decades of phenomenal advances and doctors who resuscitate infants born 16 or 17 weeks early, babies weighing less than a pound. These very low-birthweight babies have a survival rate of about 10 percent. Experienced neonatologists are extremely hesitant about pushing the boundaries back any further; much research is aimed now at reducing the severe morbidity of these extreme preemies who do survive.

''Liquid preserves the lung structure and function,'' says Thomas Shaffer, professor of physiology and pediatrics at the School of Medicine at Temple University. He has been working on liquid ventilation for almost 30 years. Back in the late 1960's, he looked for a way to use liquid ventilation to prevent decompression sickness in deep-sea divers. His technology was featured in the book ''The Abyss,'' and for the movie of that name, Hollywood built models of the devices Shaffer had envisioned. As a postdoctoral student in physiology, he began working with premature infants. Throughout gestation, the lungs are filled with the appropriately named fetal lung fluid. Perhaps, he thought, ventilating these babies with a liquid that held a lot of oxygen would offer a gentler, safer way to take these immature lungs over the threshold toward the necessary goal of breathing air. Barotrauma, which is damage done to the lungs by the forced air banging out of the ventilator, would thus be reduced or eliminated.


Today, in Shaffer's somewhat labyrinthine laboratories in Philadelphia, you can come across a ventilator with pressure settings that seem astoundingly low; this machine is set at pressures that could never force air into stiff newborn lungs. And then there is the long bubbling cylinder where a special fluorocarbon liquid can be passed through oxygen, picking up and absorbing quantities of oxygen molecules. This machine fills the lungs with fluid that flows into the tiny passageways and air sacs of a premature human lung.

Shaffer remembers, not long ago, when many people thought the whole idea was crazy, when his was the only team working on filling human lungs with liquid. Now, liquid ventilation is cited by many neonatologists as the next large step in treating premature infants. In 1989, the first human studies were done, offering liquid ventilation to infants who were not thought to have any chance of survival through conventional therapy. The results were promising, and bigger trials are now under way. A pharmaceutical company has developed a fluorocarbon liquid that has the capacity to carry a great deal of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide -- every 100 milliliters holds 50 milliliters of oxygen. By putting liquid into the lung, Shaffer and his colleagues argue, the lung sacs can be expanded at a much lower pressure.

''I wouldn't want to push back the gestational age limit,'' Shaffer says. ''I want to eliminate the damage.'' He says he believes that this technology may become the standard. By the year 2000, these techniques may be available in large centers. Pressed to speculate about the more distant future, he imagines a premature baby in a liquid-dwelling and a liquid-breathing intermediate stage between womb and air: Immersed in fluid that would eliminate insensible water loss you would need a sophisticated temperature-control unit, a ventilator to take care of the respiratory exchange part, better thermal control and skin care.

The Fetus as Patient

The notion that you could perform surgery on a fetus was pioneered by Michael Harrison at the University of California in San Francisco. Guided by an improved ultrasound technology, it was he who reported, in 1981, that surgical intervention to relieve a urinary tract obstruction in a fetus was possible.

''I was frustrated taking care of newborns,'' says N. Scott Adzick, who trained with Harrison and is surgeon in chief at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

When children are born with malformations, damage is often done to the organ systems before birth; obstructive valves in the urinary system cause fluid to back up and destroy the kidneys, or an opening in the diaphragm allows loops of intestine to move up into the chest and crowd out the lungs. ''It's like a lot of things in medicine,'' Adzick says, ''if you'd only gotten there earlier on, you could have prevented the damage. I felt it might make sense to treat certain life-threatening malformations before birth.''


Adzick and his team see themselves as having two patients, the mother and the fetus. They are fully aware that once the fetus has attained the status of a patient, all kinds of complex dilemmas result. Their job, says Lori Howell, coordinator of Children's Hospital's Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, is to help families make choices in difficult situations. Terminate a pregnancy, sometimes very late? Continue a pregnancy, knowing the fetus will almost certainly die? Continue a pregnancy, expecting a baby who will be born needing very major surgery? Or risk fixing the problem in utero and allow time for normal growth and development?

The first fetal surgery at Children's Hospital took place seven months ago. Felicia Rodriguez, from West Palm Beach, Fla., was 22 weeks pregnant. Through ultrasound, her fetus had been diagnosed as having a congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation a mass growing in the chest, which would compress the fetal heart, backing up the circulation, killing the fetus and possibly putting the mother into congestive heart failure.

When the fetal circulation started to back up, Rodriguez flew to Philadelphia. The surgeons made a Caesarean-type incision. They performed a hysterotomy by opening the uterus quickly and bloodlessly, and then opened the amniotic sac and brought out the fetus's arm, exposing the relevant part of the chest. The mass was removed, the fetal chest was closed, the amniotic membranes sealed with absorbable staples and glue, the uterus was closed and the abdomen was sutured. And the pregnancy continued -- with special monitoring and continued use of drugs to prevent premature labor. The uterus, no longer anesthetized, is prone to contractions. Rodriguez gave birth at 35 weeks' gestation, 13 weeks after surgery, only 5 weeks before her due date. During those 13 weeks, the fetal heart pumped normally with no fluid backup, and the fetal lung tissue developed properly. Roberto Rodriguez 3d was born this May, a healthy baby born to a healthy mother.

This is a new and remarkable technology. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of California at San Francisco are the only centers that do these operations, and fewer than a hundred have been done. The research fellows, residents working in these labs and training as the next generation of fetal surgeons, convey their enthusiasm for their field and their mentors in everything they say. When you sit with them, it is impossible not to be dazzled by the idea of what they can already do and by what they will be able to do. ''When I dare to dream,'' says Theresa Quinn, a fellow at Children's Hospital, ''I think of intervening before the immune system has time to mature, allowing for advances that could be used in organ transplantation to replacement of genetic deficiencies.''

But What Do We Want?

Eighteen years ago, in-vitro fertilization was tabloid news: test-tube babies! Now IVF is a standard therapy, an insurance wrangle, another medical term instantly understood by most lay people. Enormous advertisements in daily newspapers offer IVF, egg-donation programs, even the newer technique of ICSI intracytoplasmic sperm injection as consumer alternatives. It used to be, for women at least, that genetic and gestational motherhood were one and the same. It is now possible to have your own fertilized egg carried by a surrogate or, much more commonly, to go through a pregnancy carrying an embryo formed from someone else's egg.

Given the strong desire to be pregnant, which drives many women to request donor eggs and go through biological motherhood without a genetic connection to the fetus, is it really very likely that any significant proportion of women would take advantage of an artificial womb? Could we ever reach a point where the desire to carry your own fetus in your own womb will seem a willful rejection of modern health and hygiene, an affected earth-motherism that flies in the face of common sense -- the way I feel about mothers in Cambridge who ostentatiously breast-feed their children until they are 4 years old?

I would argue that God in her wisdom created pregnancy so Moms and babies could develop a relationship before birth, says Alan Fleischman, professor of pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, who directed the neonatal program at Montefiore Medical Center for 20 years.

Mary Mahowald, a professor at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago, and one of her medical students surveyed women about whether they would rather be related to a child gestationally or genetically, if they couldn't choose both. A slight majority opted for the gestational relationship, caring more about carrying the pregnancy, giving birth and nursing than about the genetic tie. ''Pregnancy is important to women,'' Mahowald says. ''Some women might prefer to be done with all this -- we hire our surrogates, we hire our maids, we hire our nannies -- but I think these things are going to have very limited interest.''

Susan Cooper, a psychologist who counsels people going through infertility workups, isn't so sure. Yes, she agrees, many of the patients she sees have ''an intense desire to be pregnant but it's hard to know whether that's a biological urge or a cultural urge.''

And Arthur L. Caplan, director of the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania, takes it a step further. Thirty years from now, he speculates, we will have solved the problem of lung development; neonatology will be capable of saving 15- and 16-week-old fetuses. There will be many genetic tests available, easy to do, predicting the risks of acquiring late-onset diseases, but also predicting aptitudes, behavior traits and aspects of personality. There won't be an artificial womb available, but there will be lots of prototypes, and women who can't carry a pregnancy will sign up to use the prototypes in experimental protocols. Caplan also predicts that ''there will be a movement afoot which says all this is unnecessary and unnatural, and that the way to have babies is sex and the random lottery of nature a movement with the appeal of the environmental movement today.'' Sixty years down the line, he adds, the total artificial womb will be here. ''It's technologically inevitable. Demand is hard to predict, but I'll say significant.''

It all used to happen in the dark -- if it happened at all. It occurred well beyond our seeing or our intervening, in the wet, lightless spaces of the female body. So what changes when something as fundamental as human reproduction comes out of the closet, so to speak? Are we, in fact, different if we take hands-on control over this most basic aspect of our biology? Should we change our genetic trajectory and thus our evolutionary path? Eliminate defects or eliminate differences or are they one and the same? Save every fetus, make every baby a wanted baby, help every wanted child to be born healthy -- are these the same? What are our goals as a society, what are our goals as a medical profession, what are our goals as individual parents -- and where do these goals diverge?

Extraterrestrials: Are They Generally Good (Benevolent) Or Bad (Malevolent)?

February 15, 2015 - In general, do you believe most extraterrestrials have good or bad intentions? In this article, we will look at both sides of the coin in order to help make that determination.

It seems there are more UFO sighting now than ever before. As the rise of cell phones with video applications has improved significantly in recent years, the cost of HD camcorders has also dropped in unison allowing people to capture videos that were not previously as easy to record.

In a parallel with video technology is the ability to create computer generated images (CGI) videos which look amazingly realistic to the untrained eye, further muddling the validity of actual UFO sightings versus computer generated ones.

There are two diverse trains of thoughts in regard to whether extraterrestrials are benevolent or not and they boil down to several basic tenets.

The common benevolent argument states that if the ET’s were malevolent, then surely, they would have taken over the planet by now.

As evidenced throughout art history, UFO’s and extraterrestrials have been documented for thousands of years, with some of the oldest recordings going back to more than 25,000 years ago. While stories of abductions are few and far between, most visitations seem to be either for observation purposes or for protection purposes.

A malevolent argument is that the planet has been under ET control for a long time through the Anunnaki who manipulated our genes to produce a slave race in order to mine gold for them.

You see commercials on TV and people in every city holding signs saying, “Cash for Gold” or “We Buy Gold”. Are these people pimps for the Anunnaki? Why, all of the sudden, is there such a big push to trade in your gold for pieces of paper that are backed by nothing?

Cash for Gold – You, too, can eliminate clutter by trading your old, dirty gold for this pile of worthless paper!

Where’s the proof?

We have heard all about the benevolent races such as the Pleiadians as well as the malevolent races such as the Grays and Reptilians, but what validity stands behind the determination of the intent of these races?

Are ALL Reptilians bad?

Are ALL Pleiadians good?

If the Earth is a reflection of the cosmos, then one must ask, “Are ALL humans bad?” and “AreALL humans good?” If, “As above, so below” is true, then it logic would dictate the answer.

The Maya were visited by Quetzalcoatl who was a Caucasian man with blue eyes. Quetzalcoatl taught them about agriculture, medicine, mathematics and astronomy. The Maya were the first civilization to use the number “0”. Accordingly, one of the stars in the Pleiades is called, “Maia”.

The Mayan Long Count calendar tracks the 26,000 year precession of the equinoxes. It is also one of the most accurate calendars known to man and to this day, can predict every lunar eclipse within 30 seconds.

Upon researching the Maya, it becomes blatantly obvious that they were helped by a benevolent ET. By the general description of Quetzalcoatl, we could deduce that he was Pleiadian, not only by his physical features but from the origin of the “Maya/Maia” name. While the origin of Quetzalcoatl is all speculative, it remains documented proof of an advanced being visiting the Americas to share this knowledge with the Maya.

Through regression hypnosis, we have also heard stories about abductions involving various probes,, egg cultivating, sperm seeding and implants. The typical type of extraterrestrial involved is often described as a Gray with features in sharp contrast to Quetzalcoatl, such as being small in stature, gray colored skin and featuring enormous black eyes along with a large cranium.

While the answer to the question of “Have we been visited by extraterrestrials” can be easily answered, the intent of why they are visiting us remains an enigma.

While official disclosure would be nice, it is not necessary because many people already accept the possibility that we are not alone in this galaxy or universe.

The release of suppressed technology from reversed engineering would be of greater interest than the actual disclosure of UFOs, but as we know, those in power want to keep us subservient to them by all means possible, which includes the suppression of technology that would benefit the human race. Look no further than to JP Morgan suppressing Nicola Tesla’s free energy system or how Stanley Meyer was murdered after inventing a car that could run on any type of water.

JP Morgan believed that “He who controls the energy, controls the power.” The answer is simple: People need to Open Source inventions that can benefit humanity. By doing so, there is no patent and the idea can be embellished by others to improve the quality of the idea or product.

Perhaps our extraterrestrial friends are waiting for us to do this?

In general, most people are good at heart. We have been manipulated and deceived through subservience, control and conformity for thousands of years, yet we remain resilient as a race in overcoming negativity while maintaining our core values of love and compassion for one another.

If, “As above, so below” is true, then the same would logic would follow suit. In general, most extraterrestrials are likely to be benevolent, while there remain those who do not have our best interests in mind.

The bottom line is discernment. It doesn’t matter what you read or watch on video. Listen to yourself. How do YOU feel, regardless of what others might think?

My discernment tells me that we are being watched over and protected by many benevolent races as we are about to be welcomed as galactic neighbors to these races.

UFOs, Aliens, and the Question of Contact explores the secrecy surrounding the greatest cover-up of all time, presenting an overview of the UFO phenomenon, aliens, abductions, disclosure, and hyperdimensional realities.

When it comes to well documented UFO cases, especially involving Government and Military documents , there is one book to point out and that is Richard Dolan’s “UFO’s and the National Security State – The Chronology of a Cover-up”. Dolan has an academic background with the much-needed critical but open mind when researching such matters. He holds an MA in History from the University of Rochester and a BA in History from Alfred University. Prior to his interest in anomalous phenomena, Dolan studied US Cold War strategy, Soviet history, and international diplomacy.

“UFOs and the National Security State” is the first volume of a three-part historical narrative of the national security dimensions of the UFO phenomenon from 1941 to the present. Included are the records of more than fifty military bases relating to violations of sensitive airspace by unknown objects, demonstrating that the US military has taken the topic of UFOs seriously indeed.
 Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell called Dolan’s book “monumental,” while Dr. Hal Puthoff, Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin, declared it to be “a must-read for serious students in the field.”

Some believe that UFO’s are just developed Nazi technology or secret military projects but have nothing “ET” like to them, others explain UFO’s with Jungian psychology as a projection of our collective. For anyone who doubts that the UFO phenomena is real needs to read this book. It is well documented and clearly shows that government and military are very aware of the UFO issue and also that they do not have a handle on it.

“There is more than enough documentation to establish military interest in UFO’s. Attempted interceptions and military close encounters are a constant feature[…]The president/government doesn’t really know much at all and is not really in charge to begin with. The [privatized] military industrial complex and private transnational corporations seem to be involved with alien technology, UFO-crash retrievals, back-engineering and possible study of alien bodies, closed off from any government or official overview.” – Richard Dolan, (from his Keynote presentation at the UFO Conference, Laughlin, Nevada 2008)

Dolan also examines the rising of a National Security State (Military Industrial Complex), independent of official government supervision, as well as the issue of Disinformation and Counter Intelligence Programs (COINTELPRO), designed to deliberately spread false Information in order to keep the public away from the truth. I recommend reading the intro here. Compartmentalization is the name of the game, on a “need to know” basis. That’s how secrecy works. The well documented evidence for his claims can be found in his books. A good insight into his work is also this lecture he gave in September 2009 (see video below).

Many people who have looked into the topic of UFO’s a bit have come across the Disclosure Project, an organization under the guidance of Steven Greer, which also reveals the Government/Military Involvement in the UFO field.

At first the Disclosure Project seems to be a very good source and has a somewhat more serious image than your average UFO site. Greer and his project is quite popular these days, especially in the New Age Movement. UFO enthusiasts seem to take Greer’s work as a credible, reliable source and are happy to hear that our benevolent “space brothers” are here, possibly providing us with technology like Zero Point Energy, which the secret government is hiding from us. According to Greer, we’re also “threatening” the aliens and a possible contact scenario because of our space weapon program.

While there is some valid information presented by Greer with a very ideal objective of bringing about Disclosure of the UFO phenomena through Congress, there also seems to be Disinformation, in particular in regards to the intention of the “visitors”. Greer claims that there is no evidence of any hostile behavior on part of the ET’s. Well, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. UFO researcher Guy Malone writes about Steven Greer and the Disclosure Project (see video below).

There are certain problems with the lesser-known but equally sought after goals of the Disclosure Project, which hide (in plain sight) behind the noble “topline” pursuit of Disclosure, which should raise concerns. Namely, the seeming religious zeal with which Dr. Greer promotes the “Intergalactic Community” we are supposedly being invited to join and also, the call for a disarmament of humanity’s weaponry before we enter space (or in the words of the Disclosure Project homepage “To enact legislation which will ban all space-based weapons.”)Whether knowingly (as either a disinformation agent, or as a closet cult-leader) or unknowingly, by attaching these very distinct and separate issues to the noble goals of the Disclosure Project, Dr. Greer is unfortunately playing all of us right into the hands of the very Shadow Government he warns of.

These other non-essential (to Disclosure) pursuits are built upon a single faulty premise – that UFOs are not ever harmful. It is simply unreasonable to believe that, as a noted ufologist, Dr. Greer has never heard of these or similar reports [showing a non-benevolent nature of UFO/ET interaction]. However, too much of the UFO community simply ignores all such reports in favor of either an undeserved loyalty to the ufonauts, or a hidden agenda – political, spiritual and/or financial. Promotion of UFO beings as benevolent and the ideal of a peaceful “Intergalactic Community” is the hallmark only of uninformed researchers, well-informed disinformation agents, New Age acolytes and UFO cult leaders.

Intelligent people however cannot allow a starry-eyed view of the reality of UFOs to cause us to roll over and merely assume they ALL are – or always will be – friendly and beneficial to humanity. All we really know so far from Dr. Greer and others’ efforts is that these entities exist, and that they seem to offer us shiny cool stuff in exchange for just a little territory. However, our own checkered human history of initial European relations with Native American Indians should be enough to teach us the folly of repeating this path (i.e., “Today’s Manhattan Island is tomorrow’s Manhattan Project!”)

If the government doesn’t really know much and has no handle on it, as Richard Dolan has shown in his research, then that puts into question the “disclosure” through government as promoted by Greer.

One has to ask, WHO is going to disclose WHAT?

Are we really so naive to believe that the government would just come out and tell us the truth, even if they knew what was going on? Sincere researchers in the UFO field are starting to look through Greer’s agenda more and more as his claims do not hold up to the data uncovered. He seems to be doing more harm than any good to the UFO field with his “crusade” of disclosure. And maybe that is his true intention after all, to distract and misinform. Could Greer be a Disinformation Agent in classic Counter Intelligence Program fashion ( COINTELPRO )?

Laura Knight-Jadczyk writes about Greer in her book “The Secret History of the World and How to Get Out Alive “:

“In the present day, we have Steven Greer’s “Disclosure Project.” Based on the mail I get, it seems that many in the New Age/UFO community think that this is a great and novel idea. However, history shows that it has been tried before. The one thing about Greer’s effort that suggests it is just more and better COINTELPRO is his attachment to the “aliens are here to help us” idea which is directly contradicted by history[…]“

In regards to Secrecy of the UFO Issue, referring to Dolan’s research, she writes:

“This brings us back to the problem of the Secret State and its agenda. Some people believe that this secrecy is absolutely essential. They say that the public simply could not handle the truth about aliens. They say that there is no reason to spoil people’s lives with the truth because there is nothing that the average person could do about it anyway. Is that really true? Would there be so much effort to conceal the alien agenda if disclosure of the truth wasn’t harmful to that agenda?

Dolan’s chronological history of the actual interaction between UFOs and the public and the corresponding behavior of the military, the intelligence community, the media, the scientific community in its interaction with the public, make this abundantly clear.

“It seems obvious from the documentary evidence as well as the behavior of the military in response to UFOs and the “alien matter,” that the aliens do have an agenda, and that – at some level in the layers of secrecy – there are those who know – at least on a “need to know” basis – what that agenda is. It seems abundantly evident that the secrecy has been enjoined on this group by the aliens themselves. What is more, a careful assessment of the evidence does not suggest a benevolent agenda.”

Scientists in US are urged to seek contact with aliens

Scientists at a US conference have said it is time to try actively to contact intelligent life on other worlds.

Researchers involved in the search for extra-terrestrial life are considering what the message from Earth should be.

The call was made by the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence institute at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in San Jose.

But others argued that making our presence known might be dangerous.

Researchers at the Seti institute have been listening for signals from outer space for more than 30 years using radio telescope facilities in the US. So far there has been no sign of ET.

The organisation's director, Dr Seth Shostak, told attendees to the AAAS meeting that it was now time to step up the search.

"Some of us at the institute are interested in 'active Seti', not just listening but broadcasting something to some nearby stars because maybe there is some chance that if you wake somebody up you'll get a response," he told BBC News.

The concerns are obvious, but sitting in his office at the institute in Mountain View, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, he expresses them with characteristic, impish glee.

"A lot of people are against active Seti because it is dangerous. It is like shouting in the jungle. You don't know what is out there; you better not do it. If you incite the aliens to obliterate the planet, you wouldn't want that on your tombstone, right?"

I couldn't argue with that. But initially, I could scarcely believe I was having this conversation at a serious research institute rather than at a science fiction convention. The sci-fi feel of our talk was underlined by the toy figures of bug-eyed aliens that cheerfully decorate the office.

But Dr Shostak is a credible and popular figure and has been invited to present his arguments.

Leading astronomers, anthropologists and social scientists will gather at his institute after the AAAS meeting for a symposium to flesh out plans for a proposal for active Seti to put to the public and politicians.

High on the agenda is whether such a move would, as he put it so starkly, lead to the "obliteration" of the planet.

"I don't see why the aliens would have any incentive to do that," Dr Shostak tells me.

"Beyond that, we have been telling them willy-nilly that we are here for 70 years now. They are not very interesting messages but the early TV broadcasts, the early radio, the radar from the Second World War - all that has leaked off the Earth.

"Any society that could come here and ruin our whole day by incinerating the planet already knows we are here."

Clash of cultures

His argument isn't entirely reassuring. But neither is the one made by David
Brin, a science fiction writer invited to speak at the AAAS meeting, who opposes
the plan. 

"Historians will tell you that first contact between industrial civilisations and indigenous people does not go well," he told me.

Mr Brin believes that those in favour of active Seti have been "railroading the public into sending a message without a wide and detailed discussion of what the cultural impact might be".

He does not fear a Hollywood-style alien invasion and thinks the likelihood of making contact is extremely low. But the risks, he argues, are extremely high and so merit careful consideration before anyone sends out a signal to potentially habitable worlds.

"The arrogance of shouting into the cosmos without any proper risk assessment defies belief. It is a course that would put our grandchildren at risk," he said.

Also on the agenda at the active Seti symposium is that if we are to send a message to ET - what should it be?

Some involved in the discussions believe we should send a sanitised account of ourselves, leaving out parts of our history we aren't proud of and putting a positive spin on our achievements - as if our species were attending a job interview or first date. Dr Shostak disagrees. He thinks the only way to win over the aliens is to be ourselves.

"My personal preference is to send the internet - send it all because if you send a lot of information then there's some chance that they'll work it out".

The Most Important Discovery of the 21st Century

Last year I tried to establish a blog tradition of starting the new year with a hopeful science news item, something that shows enormous technological potential to change the world for the better.  But come New Years, it didn't work out, the Quantum Computing and D-Wave news was simply moving too fast, and I also didn't come across anything that felt significant enough.

Not any more. Recently a breakthrough discovery has been made that has the potential to rival the impact of the ammonium synthesis. When Fritz Haber discovered this process in the early 20th century, he single-handily vanquished famines from the developed world as  subsequently fertilizer became an inexpensive commodity. This new discovery has the potential to do the same for thirst and droughts.  It involves a surprising property of graphene and does justice to the hype that this miracle-material receives: Although graphene is usually hydrophobic it can be made to form capillaries that efficiently absorb water. Now researchers at the University of Manchester report having formed layers of graphene oxide that exploit this property to make efficient water filters on the molecular level.

These filters are reported to work astoundingly efficiently, keeping anything out above the size of nine Angstrom (9.0 × 10^-10 m) at a speed comparable to an ordinary coffee filter.  It is essentially sieving on the molecular level. This is not yet enough to remove ordinary sea salt, but the scientists, who just published their research in last week's issue of Science, are confident that the material can be scaled down to this level.

If so, it will change the world. Desalination of sea water is currently only affordable to the wealthiest countries, as the required investments are staggering, and operating the necessary infrastructure is very energy intensive.  For instance, Saudi Arabia recently commissioned the world's largest desalination plant for US$ 1.46 billion. The scope of the project is impressive, yet this amount of money will still only suffice to supply one large city metropolis with enough water (~3.5M people).

According to a new report by the Worldwatch Institute, 1.2 billion people, or nearly a fifth of the world's population, live in areas of physical water scarcity, i.e. places where there is simply not enough water to meet demand. Another 1.6 billion face economic water scarcity, where people do not have the financial means to access existing water sources. If this research succeeds in creating a material that can simply filter out sea salt, and if its production can be scaled up, then this scourge on humankind could be rapidly diminished.

Wars have been fought over water and many more have been predicted.  It is rare that any one area of research has the potential to so dramatically alter the course of history for the better.

The Kelly-Hopkinsville 'Goblins' Encounter

Billy Ray Taylor went out to fetch some water from the Sutton family well, when he saw a large shining object land in a gully about a city block away. A short time later, Carl "Lucky" Sutton and Billy Ray went out to investigate and saw a small 3-to-4 foot creature walking towards them with its hands up, as if surrendering. They later described the creature, one of several encountered that night, as having large eyes, a long thin mouth, large ears, thin short legs, and hands ending in claws.

The Kelly-Hopkinsville Case
August 21 - 22, 1955

Kelly is a small town, and Hopkinsville a small city, both located in rural Christian County in southwestern Kentucky. "Lucky" Sutton's family farm was located nearer to Kelly, but the nearest police were in Hopkinsville. Thus, this case acquired the name Kelly-Hopkinsville. 

At around 7.00 P.M. on August 21, a visiting Pennsylvania man named Billy Ray Taylor went out to fetch some water from the Sutton family well. While he was at the well, he saw a large shining object land in a gully about a city block away. He went back inside and told the others, but they laughed and didn't believe him. 

A short time later the family dog began barking wildly outside, so Carl "Lucky" Sutton and Billy Ray grabbed their guns and went out to investigate. They had walked a few yards from the front door when they saw a small 3-to-4 foot creature walking towards them with its hands up, as if surrendering. They later described the creature as having large eyes, a long thin mouth, large ears, thin short legs, and hands ending in claws. 

In a rural area in the 1950s, folks were likely to shoot first and ask questions later if they felt threatened. Even though the creature seemed to be peaceful, Billy Ray fired a shot at it with his .22, and Lucky blasted away with his shotgun. They couldn't possibly have missed the creature at that range, but it just did a quick back flip and ran quickly into the woods, apparently unharmed. 

Billy Ray and Lucky returned to the house, but before they could tell the others what had happened, the creature, or another one like it, appeared in front of a window. They shot at him through the screen, leaving a hole that investigators noticed later. When the men went outside to see if they had killed the creature, they found nothing. As they looked, one of the creatures, from the roof of the house, reached down to touch one of the men's hair. They shot at it, but it just floated to the ground and then ran off into the woods. 

They went back inside and soon the house was under siege by a group of the creatures. The seven adults and four children in the house at the time were terrified as creature after creature appeared at windows around the house, seemingly taunting them. The men's guns were totally ineffective against the creatures. 

After about three hours of this, the family decided to make a run for it. They piled into two vehicles and drove down to the local police station to report the event, arriving at about 11:00 P.M.. When police officers were finally persuaded to go to the farm and investigate, they could find no evidence of the strange events except for gunshot holes in the windows and walls. 

According to reports, Sheriff Russell Greenwell was among the twenty-five or so law enforcement officers investigating the scene and the family who had told this wild tale. By all accounts, the witnesses were determined to be sane, not drinking, and in such a state of terror that no one who talked to them doubted that they had seen something unusual. Neighbors reported hearing the shooting, and one person had seen "lights in the sky" earlier that evening. 

Shortly after the police left, at about 2:15 A.M., the creatures returned. As before, they began staring into windows, curious but not hostile. Again the men responded with gunfire, and again it had no effect. This ordeal continued until a half an hour before sunrise. On the morning of the 22nd, the police, along with the Air Force, investigated but again found nothing. Billy Ray and Lucky weren't there, having driven to Evansville, Indiana to take care of some sort of business. The Hopkinsville newspaper, The Kentucky New Era, carried the story on 8/22/55. 

Many people believe this case to be a complete hoax. If it was then it has to be one of the biggest and most useless hoaxes in ufology to date. The family made no money from the incident and did not want any publicity at the time. They had to make extensive repairs to the house which cost them a considerable sum of money for that year. In the course of shooting at the creatures, Billy Ray and Lucky had shot up the house pretty well. All seven adults told the same story with no contradictory evidence in their statements. Sketches of the creatures based on descriptions from different witnesses matched closely. Their stories were unwavering a year later when a thorough investigation of the case was conducted by Isabel Davis. 

No evidence of a hoax has ever been revealed in this case, and the Suttons still insisted that it was true years later. Now, over forty years later, it's likely that many, if not all, of the Suttons who were adults at the time have gone to their graves without changing their story. 

Noted astronomer and UFOlogist J. Allen Hynek took the story seriously because he discussed the case with two of the principal investigators of the story: Bud Ledwith, an engineer at a radio station in Hopkinsville and a personal acquaintance of Hynek's, and Isabel Davis, an investigator from New York City.

Six spookiest UFO sightings and alien abductions ever reported in Scotland

This UFO spotted above Loch Lomond has re-ignited a long standing debate

Last week an incident above Loch Lomond was added to the long list of reported UFO sightings above Scotland.

The Loch Lomond sighting was slightly further north of the hotbed of Scottish UFO sightings said to take place in the ‘Falkirk Triangle’.

The Falkirk triangle stretches from Stirling to the outskirts of Edinburgh and is said to be home to around 300 sighting reports each year.

The centre of the Falkirk triangle is, of course, Bonnybridge. The small town, just outside of Falkirk, has had so many UFO sightings it is now officially twinned with the American city of Roswell in New Mexico, the site of the famous alleged saucer crash in 1947.

Bonnybridge

With literally thousands of sightings since the early 1990s, Bonnybridge is officially the home of UFOs in Scotland.

Over 600 sightings were made from 1992 to 1994 and as sightings continued thereafter, authorities wrote to Westminster pleading for help.

Cllr William Buchanan, wrote to both John Major and Tony Blair demanding “the truth”.

However, the MoD replied that it was “satisfied that there is no evidence that the United Kingdom’s airspace might have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised foreign military activity”.

Livingston

In November 1979 a man reported seeing a “flying dome” and being attacked by aliens, just outside Livingston.

Robert Taylor, a forestry worker for the Livingston Development Corporation, explained he was walking his dog along a forest path up the side of Dechmont Law when he saw what he described as a “flying dome” or a large, circular sphere approximately 20 feet (6.1 metres) in diameter, hovering above the forest floor in a clearing.

Taylor said the object was “a dark metallic material with a rough texture like sandpaper” featuring an outer rim “set with small propellers”.

Taylor says he could smell a foul smell “like burning brakes” and that smaller spheres “similar to sea mines” then dragged him towards the larger object before he lost consciousness.

When he awoke the objects were gone, he was battered and bruised, his trousers were ripped and he could  not start his truck, so walked all the way home.

A plaque has now been erected on the site of the alleged encounter by UFO enthusiasts.

Muchalls

While Bonnybridge may be Scotland’s UFO capital, the Aberdeenshire village of Muchalls certainly runs it close.

UFO sightings in the village began in the early 1970s and were reportedly seen almost every night over a number of years.

There was two main witnesses and by the 1990s, with developments in technology, UFOs were filmed in the area.

Calvine

UFO investigator Nick Pope, insists “compelling” evidence of extraterrestrials in Scotland has been covered up. Pope formerly ran the Ministry of Defence’s project on the subject and, speaking to BBC Radio Scotland Show, Tales of the Unexplained, he said the best picture of a UFO he ever saw was that of a“diamond-shaped metallic craft” suspended in the sky over the village of Calvine in Perthshire.

The UFO was spotted by two men who reported seeing the  25 metre craft hover for 10 minutes before charging up into the heavens at great speed.

The two men took a picture of the craft, which appeared to show military planes in the background and seemed to be escorting “or even chasing” the UFO.

The picture was later sent to the Ministry of Defence where experts told Pope they believed the photo was genuine and Pope blew up the picture and pinned it to his wall.

However, the picture was taken down by Pope’s manager and was never seen again – it did not even appear years later when the MOD released ‘all’ their UFO files.

One August night in 1992, Garry Woods and Colin Wright were driving down the A70 road outside Edinburgh, heading to see a friend. However, looking skywards, they spotted a disc-shaped UFO above the road.

The object produced a strange mist and, when the mist touched the car, they duo say that everything went black.

Later, under hypnosis, Woods and Wright recalled having been forced aboard the UFO by three small entities.

They claim they were given a physical examination while on board the craft before being returned safely to their vehicle.

Fraserburgh

Muchalls is not the only place in Aberdeenshire where UFO sightings have been reported.

A frightened north east family spotted a strange object in the sky just above their home near Fraserburgh, they filmed the UFO for a short while but it remained overhead for hours.

Morag Ritchie noticed the flickering rotating lights around 2am and explained to BBC Scotland: “I saw what I thought was a bright star.

“However, it was a sequence of flashing lights. There was also a darting light coming from the side. There was no sound, either.”

Ritchie woke her family up and they all witnessed the UFO hang in the air as a number of other lights turned on and off around the main object.

Podesta Regrets Failure of Securing UFO Disclosure

John Podesta has stated that his biggest failure of the last year was not securing UFO disclosure.

The presidential councilor concluded his latest stint in the White House on Friday by detailing some of the high and low points of his time there as well as some of his greatest triumphs and regrets.

Of particular interest was a Tweet admitting that his biggest failure over the last twelve months was his inability to secure disclosure about the UFO phenomenon, a topic that he has maintained a keen interest in over the last few decades.

During a Coalition for Freedom of Information press conference in 2002 he famously commented on the importance of disclosing the details of government UFO investigations to the public.

"We ought to do it, really, because it’s right," he said. "We ought to do it, quite frankly, because the American people can handle the truth. And we ought to do it because it’s the law."

Marilyn Manson Says Demons Exist

Marilyn Manson believes there are many things humans can’t comprehend in the world.

The goth rocker used to have a major issue with organised religion, but as he’s aged he’s begun to express that in a different way. Now he’s open about his beliefs in things like alchemy and astral projection to some extent, even if he doesn’t always like discussing them at great length in public.

“I do believe in things beyond our understanding: aliens, angels, demons, whatever they are,” he told Paper magazine.

“Do you sit around drawing circles with pentagrams and light candles? That's for the uninitiated. That's for the fools."

The 46-year-old disagrees with God as many people see him, calling it “foolish” of people to presume someone would share the meaning of life should they know it.

Marilyn also cleared up how he views himself – insisting he is a rock starand not a celebrity in any way. At the moment he’s promoting his latest record The Pale Emperor, which got him onto the subject of muses. While he knows they are a real concept, it wasn’t his girlfriend Lindsay Usich who was the driving force behind his new music; instead it came from something the artist wanted to show.

"I wouldn't say so much a 'muse' [inspired the record] as it was me trying to regain myself,” he explained.

“I liked the power of being in control of my life. I don't have to be tortured to be an artist. This year, I was not tortured.”

There could be something bigger at play too – his mother Barbara died last year following a battle with dementia. It is something which has played on his mind a lot, and it brought him closer to his father Hugh.

“I saw the mortality in my family," he said. "I think I found a responsibility there, a responsibility to myself. I didn't want the story to end p**s-poor.” - Belfast Telegraph

Tanzania: Ritual Burying of Live Children

There is a strange ritual currently taking roots in rural parts of Karatu District, where little children are taken into the wilderness and buried underground, leaving only their heads protruding on the surface.

The new practice is baffling local officials in the area who are still not sure why the youngsters are being subjected to such ordeal and why.

Those who have been recently discovered under such circumstances, happen to be too young to even speak.

"The recent one, for instance, was discovered by cattle herders who at first ran away scared of seeing just a head of a live baby which looked like it was growing from the ground," explained Reverend Johnson Lugenge, the Administrator at Shalom Orphanage Centre in Karatu.

The Director of Shalom, Ms Wara Elisamia Nnko, said the little cherub was discovered buried while it was also raining heavily.

"In fact he had to be given pneumonia dosage before his health could stabilise," she narrated. Remnants of dead babies and children are common in Karatu while the runaway juvenile population in the district, according to experts, is staggering and the recent practice of 'planting' children in the ground is described to be the latest horrid phenomenon targeting youngsters.

Several Karatu residents interviewed said that while some of the children are discovered alive but in critical condition, the unluckier ones are mauled by wild animals.

The Executive Secretary for the Imani Focus Foundation, which is a Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to assisting children living under difficult situations as well as runaway young ladies, Mr Stanley Mruma, also admitted that Karatu was becoming a hostile place for children.

A social welfare officer in the district, Mr Abdallah Nyange, revealed that he had served in many parts of the country but Karatu proved to be the only area "where children got more than their fair share of suffering."

"There are nearly 10,000 young children living under very difficult and dangerous situations in Karatu," said Mr Nyange, explaining that this was the result of their recent surveys.

He added: "You will be surprised that in Karatu, parents are never worried when any of their children go missing, they do not make much efforts to look for them and if a child gets missing for a week, months or even year, the family treat the situation as normal."

To rescue the situation, the Karatu District Social Welfare Department and the local police have started taking to task parents whose children are found loitering randomly, forcing them to not only take them back, but also ensure they are well-fed and attend school.

Through the new initiative, over 500 renegade children have been re-united with their families, according to Mr Nyange.

The Community Development Officer with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), Mr Selustin Halu, said since the parastatal organisation is located adjacent to Karatu, they have taken the initiative of assisting local orphanages in the area and this week they sent in a cheque of 5 million/- to the Shalom centre. - All Africa

Tokoloshe Visits Each Night

EXHAUSTED and terrified, Dorah lies in her bed waiting for the attack of the romantic tokoloshe.

And when he finally comes, he holds her, caresses her, kisses her and then, as he does every night, forces her to have sex with him.

AND WHEN HE’S DONE, HE WHISPERS “DANKIE, SWEETIE” BEFORE SLIPPING OUT OF BED.

But Dorah Molefe (62) from Mamelodi, Tshwane said there is nothing romantic about the way the tokoloshe performs once he is on top of her.

She said the short hairy tokoloshe pokes her, leaving her weak and tired with a sore punani.

“I have gone to about 10 sangomas to help chase this evil creature away but nobody has been able to help me.”

“I fear going to bed because I know the tokoloshe won’t leave me alone. I scream for help but nobody hears me. I try to fight it but it is too strong.” She said it performs like a porn star.

“It kisses and caresses my private parts and then it has violent sex with me.”

Dorah said she is appealing to anyone who can help her to get rid of this beast.

“I am not a young woman. I have two adult daughters. I need somebody with strong powers to chase this thing from my house,” she said.

She said the tokoloshe also steals her money and even eats food from her house. “I like buying peanut butter but before I eat it, the bottle is empty. I think it is the tokoloshe that likes sweet things,” she said.

Dorah showed the SunTeam a mirror she claims the tokoloshe broke.

“I don’t know what to do. People just seem to hate me. A sangoma once told me I have been cursed with evil muthi so people don’t want to have anything to do with me,” she said.

“And I once found a dead bird in my bedroom. What does it mean?”

Dorah said the trouble started about 10 years ago, at about the same time that a tenant left her yard, but she has no proof that the tenant did anything to her.

Sangoma Dumezweni Mahabuke from kwaThema, Ekurhuleni told Daily Sun: “My bones tell me there was a person staying in her yard who left with a heavy heart. He planted muthi in her yard and that thing is now revealing itself in the form of a tokoloshe who sleeps with her.”

He said she must immediately get an inyanga who will point out where the muthi is planted, otherwise her children will disappear one by one. - Daily Sun
