Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Mysterious Geoglyphs of Amazonia May Show Ancient Humanity Had an Major Impact on Rainforest
Evidence of ancient Amazonian civilization deep under the canopy of the rainforest is hoping to be revealed under a new initiative by international scientific agencies. Questions will be raised on how the ancient populations impacted the rainforest thousands of years ago.
A project grant of 1.7m-euro (£1.25m; $1.9m) from the European Research Council is backing the endeavor of a UK-led, international research team. They will be employing drones and laser instruments to detect hidden geoglyphs and evidence of ancient communities below canopy-level.
The unusual earthworks, which include square, straight, and ring-like ditches, were first uncovered in 1999, after large areas of forest were cleared for cattle grazing. Since then, hundreds of the earthen foundations have been found in a region more than 150 miles across, covering northern Bolivia and Brazil’s Amazonas state.
BBC News reports the aim of the project is to discover the “scale and activities of populations living in the late pre-Columbian period (the last 3,000 years before the Europeans arrived in the 1490s).”
The international team will be investigating the nature of the geometric earthen shapes, and looking to establish whether the sites demonstrate an ancient collective behavior.
Dr. Jose Iriarte of Exeter University, UK tells BBC News, "While some researchers think that Amazonia was inhabited by small bands of hunter-gatherers and shifting cultivators who had a minimal impact on the environment, and that the forest we see today is pristine and untouched for thousands of years - mounting evidence is showing this may not be the case.”
"This evidence suggests that Amazonia may have been inhabited by large, numerous, complex and hierarchical societies that had a major impact on the environment; what we call the 'cultural parkland hypothesis'," he continues.
Until recently this type of search for vegetation-shrouded earthworks would have proven near impossible for researchers. Drones and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology make these investigations possible today. LiDAR was developed in the 1960s to analyze oceans and ice in the Arctic, but has been employed since in topography, geology and mapping.

Archaeologists want to shed light on the dating and purpose of the geoglyphs, dwellings and ditches, which largely remain a mystery. More than 450 earthworks have been located in cleared areas of the rainforest. Some of the located works are clustered on a high plateaus, suggesting they may have been used for defense, however, others have theorized they were used for drainage or for channeling water, as they’re often near spring water sources. Others point to the geometric layouts, suggesting a ceremonial or religious function.

If the team is able to find evidence of ancient, large-scale occupation, this will lend weight to the idea that the rainforest we know today may be a result of the presence of early humanity.
Dr. Iriarte explains, "We want to see what is the human footprint in the forest and then inform policy, because it may be the case that the very biodiversity that we want to preserve is the result of the past historical manipulation of this forest.”
The initiative was announced at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in California. The project findings may be used to shape future policy on sustainable forest use and the preservation of historical sites.

Our friend Streetcap1 captured again a strange object above Earth.
This time a strange, doughnut-shaped object was spotted in a video made from the NASA International Space Station (ISS) live stream on February 18, 2015.
Some of the best footage to date of the infamous and elusive black triangle has been submitted to MUFON on today, the 12th of January. The sighting took place in Royorsford, Pennsylvania back in July of 2013 when the witness states that they were driving home from the local 7/11 on a warm summer night. The witness reports seeing the triangular object hovering over houses that were around 3,500 sq. feet in size, to give a size reference to the object. The viewer was not alone however, and had two other witnesses with him or her in the vehicle.
I would be willing to go out on the limb to say that the craft that this witness observed was a man made, black budget funded TR-3B or variant thereof. And with the amount of R&D taking place along the Eastern Seaboard it just seems all the more likely that we have a homegrown UFO on our hands.
The witness even goes as far to have filed a police report regarding the object.

De voormalige leadzanger van de Amerikaanse rockband Blink-182, Tom DeLonge, zegt enige tijd geleden buitenaardse wezens te hebben gezien toen hij in de buurt van de militaire basis Area 51 aan het kamperen was.
“Ik zat met een paar vrienden rond het kampvuur,” vertelt de muzikant aan Paper Magazine. “We ging rond één à twee uur slapen, maar ik werd ineens rond drie uur weer wakker. Het leek alsof ik geëlektrocuteerd werd. Ik deed mijn ogen open en zag dat het kampvuur nog aanstond. Buiten de tent waren iets van 20 wezens aan het praten. DeLonge is al langer geïnteresseerd in buitenaards leven. Op zijn site Strange Times plaatst hij informatie over UFO’s en in 1999 schreef hij het nummer ‘Aliens Exist’ dat op het album Enema of the State verscheen.
Tegenover Paper Magazine zegt DeLonge niet alleen dat hij aliens heeft gezien, maar ook dat de overheid weet dat ze bestaan. “Ik ben hier al geruime tijd mee bezig,” zei hij. “Ik heb bronnen die zeggen dat ik door de overheid gevolgd wordt. Mijn telefoons worden afgeluisterd.”
DeLonge sprak ook van 150 uur videomateriaal waarin ‘topgeheime getuigenissen’ te zien zouden zijn over een geheim Amerikaans ruimteprogramma. Hij zegt een deel van het materiaal in zijn huis te hebben bewaard.
De muzikant zegt verder dat een collega van hem het slachtoffer is geworden van experimenten met mind control. Op woensdag twitterde hij: “Net een video bekeken van de NASA-directeur die zegt dat hij gelooft in leven op Mars.”
(N.Morgan) This is the one time that drones have actually come in handy and for a good purpose, this drone in UK captured a UFO gliding through the sky Over Orford Hotel. The clip was taken from aerial footage filmed by David Greatorex over the Gorsey Lane building last week.
Orford Hotel landlord Christopher Barral added: “Once the film was downloaded from the drone it has shown a surprising phenomenon, a potential UFO in Orford.

Recently, an announcement has been made that the much-awaited photographic slides of an alien taken in 1947 will be provided to the public on May 5, 2015 during an event in Mexico City to be presented by Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan.
A trailer for an approaching documentary on the slides has been featured as part of the announcement. Interestingly, a screenshot from the trailer may have showed the actual so-called alien photograph.
Produced by Slidebox Media, the documentary trailer may reveal much more than what the researchers intended. The trailer provides some background information about the slides and the original owners of the photos. But, it seems that the trailer also presents a hint of what the alien in the slides looks like through an image from the computer graphics.
Original slide has been blurred whenever it has been shown in the documentary or other researchers’ presentations. However, in one scene in the documentary, a researcher uses a magnifier in looking at one of the slides.
Founder of The UFO Chronicles website, Frank Warren, zoomed in on the slide, and it resulted in a clearer picture of what the alien actually looks like. The more defined picture shows some kind of a body lying on a stretcher looking thing with a ruler nearby. It may have been a clearer version of the slide that has been deliberately blurred.
Don Schmitt and Tom Carey, two veteran UFO researchers, have examined the authenticity of the slides, and they are both convinced that a genuine extraterrestrial being can be seen on the slides. The alien being is believed to be from Roswell event in July 1947 that was recovered by the American military.
The two researchers claimed that they have talked to military witnesses of the Roswell aliens, and they can confirm that the alien in the slides is similar to what the witnesses have described.

Portland, Oregon - 2/17/2015: We were driving from Portland to my son's house and saw several arching lights in the shape of a disc. We stopped to take pictures of the unmoving craft it sat there as we watched it hovering. Amazed at the size of the ship we had to stop and take a better look. It didn't move an inch even after we left back to on the road to Lewiston.

'World's most dangerous toy' now on display in museum
An extremely rare example of a science kit dubbed ‘the most dangerous toy of all time’ has gone on display at the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland. When originally sold in 1951 the Atomic Energy Lab came complete with radioactive discs to make around 150 different experiments possible.
The kits - containing uranium ore and sources of alpha, beta and gamma radiation - were aimed at a niche market in the US and only a small number are thought to have survived intact. The $50 cost equates to around $450 (£300) today. It has been purchased from an American toy dealer by National Museums NI and will is on display as part of a new Elements exhibition.
Curator of Palaeontology Dr Mike Simms said importing the 65-year-old kit from the US posed major difficulties with authorities on both sides of the Atlantic, even though the surviving radioactive items had been removed before shipping. Dr Simms added: “I think visitors will find it amazing and amusing that this set allowed budding young scientists to measure radioactivity or uranium in the comfort of their own homes. Perhaps it wouldn’t pass today’s health and safety standards but it is the perfect fit for the Elements exhibition.”
Supported by the Foyle Foundation, Friends of the Ulster Museum, Power NI and parent company Viridian Group, the exhibition is the first of its kind in the UK. It explores the periodic table with a series of themes that encompass life and death, wealth and fashion, art and technology, colour and light. Visitors can discover where elements were created, how they occur naturally, what they look like, how we use them and why they can be dangerous.
NOTE: My Dad had one of these Gilbert 'Atomic Energy Labs' stored in the backroom of our family hobby shop for many years. I was told that my Grandfather originally purchased 3 of these sets to sell in the shop. BTW, I wasn't allowed to play with the kit. I have no idea what became of it. A. C. Gilbert Company also produced the 'Erector Set' and manufactured the 'American Flyer Trains'. I once owned one of the early Gilbert Chemistry sets and other lab equipment when I was a kid. Woman kills son to save him from embarrassment...because his ears were too big
A mother who throttled her 10-year-old son to death because she thought his big ears were ruining his life is facing a murder charge in Turkey. Nuray Sacan, 37, had paid for the boy to have cosmetic surgery in Gazi Hospital in the capital Ankara, but when she turned up to see the results she told surgeons she was unhappy with the way it turned out.
So she took the youngster to the women’s toilet in the early hours of the morning and choked him to death with her own scarf. She was caught when she fled the hospital in her car but hit another vehicle and confessed to the killing while she was being taken back to hospital in an ambulance. “Both his ears had become even bigger after the surgery.
“He became very ugly. He would have felt even more ashamed in front of his friends. I did it to save him such embarrassment,” Sacan said. She claimed she had paid for the surgery because her son had suffered years of bullying and teasing because of his sticking out ears. “I was trying to protect him from a lifetime of pain.” But surgeon Dr Metin Yilmaz, who carried out the operation said: “I am astonished she would think that.
“The operation was a simple one and it was a complete success. There were no post-operative issues and he was due to go home.” Gazi Hospital chief surgeon Dr Kadri Altok added: “We can’t understand it. The boy’s mother did not seem to have any psychological problems and the operation went perfectly.” Police spokesman Alper Tore confirmed: “A 37-year-old woman is in custody over the death of her son.” - news.com.au
Blink-182 Guitarist Believes He's In Danger...Knows Too Much About Aliens
On the beginning of his UFO-loving days and how he has “government sources”:
What’s funny, two decades ago when I got into this, it was such a “the world is flat” scenario, and here’s Tom running around about UFOs and they’d just laugh it off. But now, NASA is holding symposiums on the inevitability of finding life in the universe. The Vatican is talking about, yes, there’s life out there, and how it interferes or doesn’t interfere with the church’s view of existence.
You have to understand, I’ve been involved in this for a long time. I have sources from the government. I’ve had my phone taped. I’ve done a lot of weird stuff in this industry — people wouldn’t believe me if I told them. But this is what happens when you start getting on an email chains with hundreds of scientists from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and different universities around the country, and you start outing seniors scientists from Lockheed Martin talking about the reality of this stuff, guys that hold 30 patents, guys that work underground out in the Nevada test sites in Area 51. It goes far beyond just saying, “Hey, that little light in the sky, that’s a little green man.” That doesn’t lend the right gravity to the topic.
On how his extensive research has taken him way beyond simply believing in “little green men”:
People will be like “Oh, you believe in UFOs” [laughs], but I’m reading books on physics, I’m reading books on the secret space program, I’m talking to people that work underground for six months at a time, that are confiding in me about the national security initiatives. I’ve literally read 200 books on the subject, and I don’t spend my time looking at UFO reports or talking to little green men. I’m way past that. If anybody tells you there’s no life in universe, you should be turned off. That’s just such a dumb thing to say. It’s totally, universally accepted amongst the country’s elite scientific establishments that there’s life everywhere. The question is what kind, where, how’d they get here, what are they doing when they get here, and how do we communicate with them? That’s when you start reading books about the mind and consciousness, and telepathy and ESP. It’s a whole different program.
On that time he believed he made contact with an alien while camping at Area 51:
We had two nights. We did one outside of a secret base called China Lake. And that was on the flight path to Area 51, which is known as Groom Lake. We camped out at the northern end of that, about 200 miles from the nearest staff location. We were above an area called Tonopah, which is where they test-fly a lot of different things. So if you remember, I was talking about a person that was gathering all that footage for the congressional hearing. That person was telling me that the big belief, which I had corroborated by a university professor that was in the know, by the way, that the communication of this particular phenomenon is the frequency of thought. So part of communicating and making contact is shutting your mind down and being able to project your thoughts. And this guy was telling me about it, and this whole protocol for how it works. When we went out there the first night, we decided to run through this protocol where you project your thoughts. So we decided to do it, and we were up mad late, but nothing happened. I kept telling the guys: if anything was going to happen, it would happen at three in morning, because that’s the time when things like this happen. Don’t ask me why. We put about four logs on the fire, and everything is illuminated by the fire, and we fall asleep around one or two. I woke up right around three a.m. My whole body felt like it had static electricity, and I open my eyes and the fire is still going, and there’s a conversation going on outside the tent. It sounded like there were about 20 people there, talking. And instantly my mind goes, OK, they’re at our campsite, they’re not here to hurt us, they’re talking about shit, but I can’t make out what they’re saying. But they’re working on something. Then I close my eyes and wake up, and the fire is out and I have about three hours of lost time.
I get everyone up first thing in the morning and go, “Did anybody hear all the chatter last night? I couldn’t move my body, I was stuck there. I couldn’t hear anything.” And one of the guys I was with goes, “Yes! They were all around our tent, they were talking. I told you!” And the other guy slept right through it. He had no idea what we were talking about. [laughs] It sounded like English, but you couldn’t make out any words. You knew you weren’t threatened, you couldn’t move your body, but you were very aware of the conversation going on for a period of time. But this is the scary part. If you look up and study abductions of people, people that have had contact, and a lot of the stuff you can read from John Mack; he was [a member of] Harvard’s psychiatry department. He almost lost his job because he started writing books about UFOs and people getting abducted. Harvard tried to kick him out of the medical group, but they lost. He got hit by a car in mysterious circumstances. Pretty odd, right? But when you read his books and study what he was doing, a lot of people who have these contacts talk a lot about chatter, like you’re in the middle of people working. How fucking crazy is that? Nothing else. No footprints, no weird like marks or anything like that.
On whether he’s had his phone tapped by the government:
Yeah, yeah I did. For quite some time. Years ago, there was somebody who was gathering 150 hours of top secret testimony specifically for Congressional hearings on government projects and the US secret space program. People from NASA, Rome, the Vatican, you name it, they’re all on there. The top 36 hours that summarized the best parts of all of that footage, I had it hidden in my house for a period of time, and during that time I was flying this person out along with somebody that was Wernher von Braun‘s right-hand assistant. Wernher von Braun was a Nazi scientist that we brought over to build our Apollo rockets that got us to the moon, and on his deathbed he told this person a bunch of stuff, and I was flying them out to Los Angeles and we were taking certain meetings. At that time a lot of weird stuff started happening.
On a specific instance in which his knowledge of aliens almost got him in real trouble:
To give you an example, one time I remember bringing up a very specific craft that I believe we’re building, in secret, to emulate the phenomenon that our government has been observing for decades. So I started talking about the craft, and its magnetic slide system and how it displaces over 89% of the mass of the ship, how it ionizes the engine, how it glows — I went through the whole thing, and this engineer looks at me, this guy is 70 years old, and he goes, “You better be real fucking careful about what you’re talking about.” And I go, “Okay, so I’m close.” And he goes, “I’m not fucking kidding with you. You better be really fucking careful.” And he calls me up the next day and he goes, “I’ve had calls about you. If someone comes and asks you to get in their car, don’t fucking get in the car.” [laughs] And that’s the shit I’m dealing with.
Last night, I received the following information from a reader in Indiana. Incidentally, several readers have told me that Plainview, IN is well-known for UFO sightings. This report concerns a wide area and some of the strange events he has noticed recently:
I'm interested in UFOs and other phenomena - I live near Richmond, Indiana, the same town where the woman saw a flying manta ray and reported it to you. I think her sighting was that of a unidentified intelligent craft.
In the past 2 weeks, there have been many reports of power outages and electrical interference in the Louisville / Cincinnati / Indianapolis triangle. I don't know how many square miles this area involves, but these metro areas are all within 100 miles of each other.
In the same time period, myself and others have noticed an increase in UFO sightings in the same general area.
The string of lights seen by the witness in Plainview, IN was also seen in another location near the Ohio River west of Cincinnati just a few days before.
I believe the 'MIB' reported by the witness actually came from the Wright-Patterson airbase near Dayton, Ohio. These guys in the dark berets have been noticed in north central Kentucky and also had Ohio license plates.
Most of the UFO sightings have been orbs or cone-shaped lights of various colors - but mainly white and red.
I will continue to monitor this area and let you know if something else happens. Scott

On 02/15/2015, at approximately 0105 hrs, my husband and I returned home in Borden, Indiana following an outing. First off, let me advise we did not see an object...but what happened, has not been explained satisfactory to any degree...AND SOMETHING BIG HAPPENED!!
Anyhow, as we stood in the kitchen of our home, the lights flickered throughout the entire house. They went completely out for about 3 seconds, back on again, completely out again for about 3 seconds, and then a very brief out again and back on. At the time, I thought nothing of it until I seen a post on Facebook from our local news station WAVE 3 news.
At 0154, they posted "Reports of power outages and lights flickering near Lower Hunters Trace. What are you experiencing?" First off, this area is located in Kentucky. No where near where I am located.
Also, It is not on the same power plant, lines, or grid as my area.
Louisville and the surrounding areas in Kentucky are supplied by the massive LGE and KU companies. While I receive power from a rural Co-op located in Hamburg, Indiana. I opened to comment that we had experienced flashes in Borden as well and was stunned at the comments that came prior to mine.
There were reports not only of power outages and lights blinking, people reported that their cars stalled on the highway requiring them to restart the vehicle. Although there were over a thousand comments, I seen no less than a dozen reports of vehicles stalling, headlights dimming, and the radio inside of the car going to static.
Shortly after all of the reports started coming in, I began to notice the widespread area over which these reports were coming in. As far West (of those who reported issues) as Corydon, Indiana and Brandenburg, Kentucky. As far north as Columbus, Indiana. As far South as Elizabethtown, Kentucky. And as far East as Madison, Indiana and Carrolton, Kentucky.
Further, one person commented and posted photos of a field fire caused by a transformer blowing at a substation (In Kentucky)managed by LGE. LGE issued a statement that the problems and outages were caused by this blown transformer and subsequent fire. Quickly most everyone (including the media) dismissed all of the electrical issues on this blown transformer and went on. The rest of us,...not so much.
Although the transformer could have caused the problems with electricity in Kentucky, it would have Zero effect on the power of Indiana residents and even less so, the electrical system in a vehicle, or a radio signal.
Those of us not so quick to dismiss, know something BIG happened. We know it affected Houses, Airports, Cars, and we believe that whatever happened...CAUSED the transformer to blow. However, we do not have answers even though we searched. Solar Activity was low, so the possibility of a flare was ruled out. We were left with debating only 3 possibilities; Computer Hack, an EMP; Extra-Terrestrial interference.
I don't know if anyone WITNESSED anything in the sky that night, but I do know a very widespread area experienced (a very scary) a massive electrical disturbance all at the very same time. I have included a map that shows the locations where people experienced issues. The locations were pulled from the people who commented in response to WAVE 3 asking if anyone else was experiencing outages and flashing lights. The reported locations are notated by the red stars.
Now mind you, this wasn't just a few houses with a flicker in the light bulbs, people commented they seen all lights go out at Standiford Field Airport in Louisville, Kentucky. All lights going out in a hospital (she didn't list which one), all lights going out in an entire Amazon Warehouse in Jeffersonville, Indiana, all lights on the Kennedy Bridge spanning the Ohio River blinking out, peoples cars stalling (who were 50 miles apart) on the road.
I am writing you because this was dismissed as a tranformer blowing "Equipment Malfunction." There is no way that this was the result of what everyone reported. - MUFON CMS

I have also been informed that nobody is allowed to leave or enter the reservation at this time and that the military has been going door to door talking with residents. They are telling the residents that they are conducting emergency training exercises, but there has been an extreme cold front in Manitoba over the last 2 days and it is extremely dangerous to spend time outdoors for any period.
The military has moved in all their equipment effectively blocking any view of what may have crashed into the water or what they are doing there, but I'm sure they are recovering the evidence.
I will get back in touch with in a few hours, I was told the name of the reservation but it was very long and hard to pronounce, I will get the exact spelling of the reservation in a few hours when I meet with my contact and I will forward any new information over."

A retired U. S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer, who asked me to only call him “Brian.” His high strangeness experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica were in the 1983 to 1997 time period and included several observations of aerial silver discs darting around over the Transantarctic Mountains. He and his crew also saw a big hole in the ice only about five to ten miles from the geographic South Pole (pink circle on map) that was supposed to be a No Fly Zone. But during an emergency medevac situation, they entered the No Fly Zone and saw what they were not supposed to see: an alleged entrance to a human and E. T. science research base created under the ice. Then at a camp near Marie Byrd Land, some dozen scientists disappeared for two weeks and when they re-appeared, Brian’s flight crew got the assignment to pick them up. Brian says they would not talk and “their faces looked scared.” Brian and his flight crew received several orders at different times to not talk and were sternly told that they didn’t see what they saw. But he was never asked to sign an official non-disclosure statement. So now that he’s retired, he has decided to share what he has seen and experienced because he knows non-humans are working on this planet. WITNESS STATEMENT I am a retired United States Navy LC130 Flight Engineer that retired after 20 years of service in 1997. I have been wanting to write you for a long time about my experience on the Antarctic continent with flying vehicles that I was told not to talk about. I served part of my 20 years in the Navy with a Squadron called Antarctic Development Squadron Six or VXE-6 as it was also known. I served with this squadron from around 1983 till I retired March of 1997. Being a flight engineer and flying more then 4000 hours in that capacity I have seen things that most people have not even imagined on the Continent of Antarctica. The land there seems more alien then earthly. Our deployments to this land started in late September and ended the end of February every year until the Squadron was decommissioned in 1999. This time of year was the summer season when most of the science was done do to warmer temps and 24 hours of daylight.
During my time in the squadron I flew to almost every part of the Antarctic Continent including the South Pole more the 300 times. McMurdo Station which is 3.5 hours of flying time from the South Pole station was the point of squadron operation during our yearly deployments. Between these two stations is a mountain range called the Trans Antarctic’s. With what we called Severe Clear weather from McMurdo to South Pole the Trans Antarctic’s are visible from the altitudes which the aircraft flew approximately 25,000 to 35,000 feet. On several flights to and from South Pole our crew viewed air vehicles darting around the tops of Trans Antarctic’s almost exactly in the same spot every time we would fly by and view them. This is very unusual for air traffic down there due to the fact that the only aircraft flying on the continent were our squadron aircraft. Every aircraft knew where the other aircraft were do to flight schedules being followed.
Another unique issue with South Pole station is that our aircraft was not allowed to fly over a certain area designated 5 miles from the station. The reason stated because of a air sampling camp in that area. This did not make any sense to any of us on the crew because on 2 different occasions we had to fly over this area. One time due to a medical evacuation of the Australian camp called Davis Camp. It was on the opposite side of the continent and we had to refuel at South Pole and a direct course to this Davis Camp was right over the air sampling station. The only thing we saw going over this camp was a very large hole going into the ice. You could fly one of our LC130 into this thing. It was after this medevac mission we where briefed by some spooks (Intelligence Agents I presumed) from Washington DC and told not to speak of the area we overflew. The other time we got close to “The air sampling Camp” we had navigation and electrical failures on the aircraft and was told to immediately depart the area and report to our squadron commanding officer when we returned to McMurdo.
Needless to say our pilot (Aircraft Commander) got his butt chewed and our crew was not on the South Pole supply run for over a month. There were many other times we saw things that was out of the ordinary. One outlying camp (near Marie Byrd Land) we dropped scientists and their equipment at was out of communication with McMurdo for 2 weeks. Our crew flew back to the camp to find out if the scientists were ok. We found no one there and no sign of any fowl play. The Radio was working fine as we called McMurdo to verify it working properly. We left the camp and flew back to McMurdo as ordered by our CO. A week later the Scientist showed back up to there camp and called McMurdo for someone to come pick them up. Our crew got the flight back there to pick them since we put them into that camp and we knew the terrain and location. None of the scientists would talk to any of the crew on the plane and to me they looked scared. As soon as we landed back at McMurdo they (Scientists) where put on another of our squadron aircraft and flown to Christchurch New Zealand. We never heard about them again. Their equipment that we brought back from the camp was put in quarantine and shipped back to the United States escorted by the same spooks that debriefed us about our fly over of the air sample camp/ large hole in the ice. I could go on and on about things and situations that I observed during my tour with VXE-6. Talk among the flight crews was that there is a UFO base at South Pole and some of the crew heard talk from some of the scientist working at the Pole of EBEs working with and interacting with the scientists at that air sampling camp/large ice hole.

Zo’n 70.000 jaar geleden passeerde een rode dwergster de Oortwolk aan de rand van ons zonnestelsel. De ster kwam vijf keer zo dicht bij onze zon als Proxima Centauri, de ster die op dit moment het dichtst bij de zon staat.
De rode dwerg, ‘ster van Scholz’ geheten, passeerde de zon op een afstand van ongeveer 0,8 lichtjaar, zo melden wetenschappers van de Universiteit van Rochester in het tijdschrift Astrophysical Journal Letters.
Op basis van simulaties hebben de onderzoekers vastgesteld dat sommige kometen in de Oortwolk waarschijnlijk uit hun baan raakten door dit object. Het is echter onwaarschijnlijk dat de ster voor een kometenregen heeft gezorgd.
Uit de baan van de ster kan worden afgeleid dat het hemellichaam 70.000 jaar geleden op 52.000 astronomische eenheden (0,8 lichtjaar) van de zon stond. Proxima Centauri staat ter vergelijking op 4,2 lichtjaar van de zon.
De astronomen schrijven dat ze er 98 procent zeker van zijn dat de ster door de buitenste Oortwolk is gegaan, een gebied aan de rand van ons zonnestelsel gevuld met biljoenen kometen. De snelheid van de ster van Scholz is gemeten met behulp van telescopen in Chili en Zuid-Afrika.
De ster van Scholz staat momenteel op 20 lichtjaar afstand in het sterrenbeeld Eenhoorn. Op het moment dat de ster door het zonnestelsel scheerde, moet hij een magnitude van 10 hebben gehad. Het is volgens de onderzoekers mogelijk dat de ster 70.000 jaar geleden af en toe met het blote oog kan zijn gezien door onze voorouders.
