Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

NASA prepares to launch massive science balloon for record-breaking flight
NASA is preparing to launch a massive science balloon in a couple weeks from New Zealand and hopes to break records with it.
The super pressure balloon, or SPB, is huge. It has more volume than 92 blimps. It’s able to swallow an entire football stadium whole.
And NASA hopes it will stay aloft in the stratosphere long enough to beat the current record of 54 days.
“The super pressure balloon is a game changer,” said Debbie Fairbrother, chief of NASA’s Balloon Program Office at Wallops Flight Facility. “Long duration, mid-latitude balloon flights at stable altitudes will expand the envelope for science and research, spark new technologies and enable new discoveries.”
Staying up longer is preferable, but NASA says its engineers care even more about seeing if the SPB can maintain a constant altitude — most standard heavy-lift balloons can shift in altitude as much as 45,000 feet, lofting up and down with the natural warming and cooling of day and night.
But if the SPB can keep a stable altitude of 110,000 feet, it’ll enable even better science in the near-space environment. NASA has been developing the stabilizing technology for 15 years, Fairbrother said.
The balloon will launch around March 15 and carry a 5,000-pound payload of tracking and communication instruments, drifting eastward around the planet once every one to three weeks, depending on wind speeds.
NASA says residents in the Southern Hemisphere’s mid-latitudes, such as Argentina and South Africa, are better positioned to glimpse the balloon.

Since the 1930′s Astronomers worldwide have been reporting strange radio signals which allegedly come from the “Black Knight”.
In 1957, Dr. Luis Corralos of the Communications Ministry in Venezuela photographed it while taking pictures of Sputnik II as it passed over Caracas.
The story of the Black Knight made its media debut in the 1940′s when the St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner wrote about the “Satellite” on May 14th 1954.

In 1957, an unknown “object” was seen “shadowing” the Sputnik 1 Spacecraft. According to reports, the “unidentified object” was in Polar orbit.

The first Polar orbiting satellite was launched in 1960.
Polar orbits are often used for earth-mapping, earth observation, capturing the earth as time passes from one point and reconnaissance satellites. This would put the Black Knight in the category of a observational Satellite.
In the 1960′s the Black Knight satellite was located once again in Polar Orbit. Astronomers and Scientists calculated the objects weight to be over 10 tons which would be at that time the Heaviest Artificial Satellite to orbit our Planet.
The Black Knight’s orbit was unlike any other object orbiting Earth.
The Grumman Aircraft Corporation gave much importance to this mysterious “Satellite”, On September 3, 1960, seven months after the satellite was first detected by radar, a tracking camera at Grumman Aircraft Corporation’s Long Island factory took a photograph of the Black Knight satellite.
The Grumman Aircraft Corporation formed a committee to study the data received from the observations made but nothing was made public.
In 1963, Gordon Cooper was launched into space. On his final orbit, he reported seeing a glowing green object in front of his capsule in the distance moving towards his Spacecraft. The Muchea tracking station, in Australia, which Cooper reported the object to, picked up this Unidentified object on Radar travelling East to West.
It was the Ham Radio operator who apparently decoded a series of signals received from the UFO Satellite and interpreted it as a star-chart centered on the Epsilon Bootes Star System
According to the decoded message, the Black Knight satellite originated from the Epsilon Bootes Star System 13.000 years ago.
On August 23, 1954 the technology magazine Aviation Week and Space Technology released a story about the Black Knight Satellite that angered the Pentagon who were trying to keep the information secret.

Thousands of Airline Pilots Witness UFOs

WASHINGTON—Airline pilots see unidentified flying objects but very few report it because of ridicule.
According to the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena, (NARCAP) there have been over 3,500 documented sightings of “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” by military, commercial, and civilian pilots. But Captain Jim Courant, a commercial pilot for over 31 years, says there are many more sightings that are just not reported.
“It is almost astounding how many people are in the know on this subject,” he said, speaking before the Citizens Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on May 3.
Courant has been researching and studying the phenomena of UFOs for years. He has collected over 3,000 books on UFOs and extraterrestrials, and hosted a television series on the issue titled “New Perspectives” which ran for three years.
He still flies for a commercial airline and because of his exposure on television has became known as an authority on UFO’s and extraterrestrial encounters.He has been contacted, and still is, by many commercial airline and military pilots who are happy to discuss their UFO’s encounters privately but do not want to talk publicly, fearing ridicule and in some cases retaliation.
“They are afraid,” not so much about their status or their retirement benefits, but “they are more afraid for their families,” he said.
He described the experience of one pilot who was flying a 747 over the Pacific in 1980, when he came across a UFO in front of him.
“You won’t believe what we saw,” the pilot had said, according to Courant. “This thing was bigger than a 747.”
Courant said the pilot told him that when he got to his destination in Japan, he “was debriefed and told never to talk about it again.”
Courant told the hearing about his own encounter with a UFO. In 1995, he was flying near Albuquerque, New Mexico, when he and his co-pilot saw a blue green oval shape approaching from the left. “In a flash of burning white light, the object suddenly shot up at a 45 degree angle,” he told the hearing.
Four other pilots reported to the air traffic control tower that they had also seen the object.
“One pilot said it must have been a meteor,” Courant recounted, adding, “I got on and said ‘Since when does a meteor go back up?'”
When asked about his co-pilot’s reaction in a telephone conversation following the Disclosure hearing, Courant said, “He refused to discuss it and has never flown with me again.”
Courant said pilots have reported seeing a variety of craft that appear suddenly and move at speeds impossible with present technology. Reports include cigar-shaped craft, triangular craft, and some that are the size of an aircraft carrier or larger.
He says airline pilots are “very serious in their profession” and not likely to make exaggerations.
The website NARCAP, co-founded in 1999 by Dr. Richard F. Haines, a recognized specialist in UFOs and a former Chief Scientist at NASA’s Ames Research Center, has been effective at documenting sightings, but Courant says more needs to be done.
UFO sightings are only “the tip of the iceberg” in terms of what has been experienced and what is known about extraterrestrials, he said.
“There are certain things I have been privy to, but I can’t get into that here,” he told the hearing.
Courant said it was time for the United States government to come clean with what its agencies have documented and learned through decades of extraterrestrial encounters.
Airline pilots know what they have seen, he said, and should be able to talk about it without fear of ridicule.
On January 29, 2015 a UFO that resembled a flying horse has been captured on webcam close to one of Mexico’s most active volcanoes, the volcano Colima – situated between the western Mexican states of Colima and Jalisco.
Again, the webcam captured several UFOs next to the volcano on February 23 and 24 and on March 02 and 04, 2015 discovered by a UFO enthusiast.
He stated: “I check the webcam photos of El Volcano de Colima (Colima, Mexico) daily. Today I discovered this triangular shaped UFO hovering beside the volcano.” MUFON case 63740.
The other photos are of different sightings on different days.
India’s Mars Orbiter captured something strange in the gigantic Valles Marineris Canyon of Mars. The image shows a huge mushroom cloud and we may wonder whether it is an enormous rare dust wind cloud, or caused due to a (nuclear or methane) explosion.
Let’s see if something has happened on Mars in the period between September 1, 2014 till present day (February 6, 2015.)
ISRO launched the Mars Orbiter on November 5, 2013. After leaving earth, the orbiter will have to endure the interplanetary space for 300 days before Mars capture, which means the Mars orbiter arrived around September 1, 2014.
The close passage of Comet Siding Spring to the planet Mars occurred on October 19, 2014.
Directly after its passage, a huge explosion was detected on Mars.
At the moment of the close passage of comet Siding Spring to the planet, NASA cut off the live feed, but Dr.Fritz Helmut Hemmerich was able to make a video from 1200-meters at Tenerife in the Canary Islands showing comet Siding Spring immediately after its Mars encounter and a huge explosion.
Despite NASA cut the live feed in order to hide what was going on during the passage of the comet last year, the image published on ISRA’s website probably gives the answer.
Although we cannot really prove it, we may assume that ISRO’s image of the mushroom cloud confirms that the huge explosion was the result of an enormous impact on mars caused by a chunk of rock coming from comet Siding Spring or its tail.
The image can be found on the website of ISRO. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Indian government. It is among the largest government space agencies in the world.

Have We Been visited By Aliens Five Thousand Years Ago
In the previous article, we explored the possibility of a catastrophic event that led to worldwide floods. However, a factor in considering the hypothesis of a global flood is the common occurrence of this event in the legends of multiple cultures.
If anything, this goes to prove that myths are sometimes based on real events and though stories might morph trough time, they tend to preserve at least one grain of truth. The same myths that tell of cataclysmic tides also share another common element, in the form of what we usually call divine intervention.
Five thousand years ago, the coasts of England were severely flooded. Analysis of tree rings indicates that the atmosphere held massive amounts of dust and ash. Ice cores from Greenland support this theory. Around the same time, we see a change in religious beliefs as worship shifts toward a bearded sky-god.
Stonehenge was built around the same time.
One of the chief Sumerian deities is Ea or Enki. He was considered the Lord of the World and regarded as the civilizer of mankind. Early myths describe him as a tall, white bearded man, dressed in long white garments. His association with the flood varies, in some instances he causes it but other times he plays the role of a rescuer. The Egyptians referred to him as Osiris and as legend goes, he left Egypt to visit other lands.
Tribes from North America have similar legends. They tell of the visit of a great civilizer that taught them everything they know. He was regarded as a prophet and healer and oftentimes played the role of a savior when the floods came. The Mandan Indians said his clothes were made of white wolf skins and the Ojibwe called him The Great White Hare due to his appearance.
The same civilizer hero appears in the legends of Central American cultures. The Mayans called him Kukulcan and the Aztecs knew him as Quetzalcoatl – The Feathered Serpent. An interesting fact is that other cultures associate the serpent with the founding hero – Osiris in Egypt and Lebe of the Dogon tribe in West Africa.

The Columbian Muiscas feature a character called Bochica, a man with fair skin, a long beard and dressed in a long flowing robe. He showed them new hunting techniques and introduced them to agriculture and house-building.
The last great Peruvian civilization, the Incas also inherited this legend from other cultures. According to them, Viracocha destroyed a race of giants he had created with a flood. He later created man in his own size. Other accounts place Viracocha as the creative divinity in a time of darkness, giving life to man.
Cultures in the Philippines and Indonesia have similar legends and these islands saw a wave of settlers around the same time, some five thousand years ago. They carried with them legends of a great flood. The same can be said about Aboriginal tribes in Australia. Their legends tell about The Dreamtime, a period of creation during which a sky-god called Baiame gave them their laws of life. His appearance is similar to the descriptions above and after teaching them everything they know he returned to the sky.

When Captain Cook reached the Hawaii islands in the 18th Century, the natives welcomed him as Lono, the “god with white bark cloth”.
If these myths are to be given credence, something extraordinary must have happened five millennia ago. They point to the visit of one or more extraterrestrial beings traveling the globe and teaching humans agriculture and crafts. This visit happened in a time of great strife and naturally, the visitors were oftentimes seen as the source of the disasters. The childish and egocentric nature of humans led them to believe that they were being punished for their actions.
The bearded sky-gods had an enormous impact on early human cultures and ushered in a new age.

An Australian witness at Hardwicke Bay, Yorke Peninsula, SA, reported watching a disc-shaped, hovering object emitting a beam of light that terrified her, according to testimony in Case 63641 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was visiting her grandparent’s farm and talking on the telephone when the object was first seen about 10:03 p.m. on February 28, 2015.
“I looked up at the trees because I could hear the wind becoming stronger,” the witness stated. “Then I looked at my phone again because it vibrated and then I heard like a swoosh – like a whirly wind was happening. I looked up and an object was hovering over the trees.”
The witness described the object.
“It had yellow and orange lights around it shaped in a disc form. Then a beam of a light blue and white came down. Not all the way – just a little bit around 70-80cm from under the object off the ground, and it kept hovering.”

The witness ended her phone call and began screaming.
“I had no idea what it was going doing to me because I had no idea what it was. I didn’t know if something was gonna jump out or if the object was going to move towards me and make the beam of light – which was located underneath the object – shine upon me. I was thinking of the documentary that I saw on the TV not long ago where the object’s beam of light shined upon these people and they were nowhere to be seen.”
The witness continued to watch the object.
“The light from underneath faded and it moved slowly east. I ran inside and got all the adults and I said, ‘Come quickly – there is something in the sky that is moving away from where it was directly in front of me while I was talking on the phone.’”
The adults moved outside the house.
“When we got out – there it was moving very slowly away from where I was standing. As we were watching it we were trying to decide what is was by the lights and shape and the movement. Then as I said ‘UFO’ its lights just all switched off now and it’s nowhere to been seen.”

While lighting a fire, a resident of Vladivostok found a rail-shaped piece of metal that was pressed into a piece of coal. The resident took it to scientists of the Primorye region, where after being studied by leading experts was found to be 300 million years old. The scientists said that it was not created by nature, suggesting it was manufactured by someone.
Finding strange artifacts in coal is not as uncommon as you may think.
In 1851, workers in a Massachusetts mine extracted a zinc silver encrusted vase, which was dated at 500 million years old.

In 1974, an aluminum assembly part of a hammer or a support leg of an aircraft was found in a sandstone quarry in Romania. It it has been dated back at least 20,000 years old.

These discoveries are just a few of the many finds over the years.
The metal object was delivered to Primorye from the Chernogorodskiy mines of the Khakassia region. The coal deposits of this region date back 300 million years, so Russian experts believe the object must be of the same age.

When the metal object was removed from all of its coal by geologists, it was found to be unusually light and soft. It consisted of 98 percent aluminum and 2 percent magnesium, and was 2.75 inches long.

On the other hand, however, when it became clear that the object was made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy, the experts quickly found an answer to the question of how a metal detail could withstand the ravages of time so well. The scientists explained that pure aluminum is prone to oxidization, which contributes to the creation of a special layer protecting it from further corrosion. As a result, the metal detail made 98 percent from aluminum can endure not only high pressur,e but also heat and other severe natural conditions, answering the question how the metal could withstand the ravages of time so well, reported The Voice Of Russia.

The article went on to say, another question that interests Russian scientists is whether the aluminum alloy is of Earthly origin. It is known from the study of meteorites that there exists extra-terrestrial aluminum-26, which subsequently breaks down to magnesium-26. The presence of 2 percent magnesium in the alloy might well point to an alien origin of the aluminum detail. Nonetheless, further testing is needed to confirm this hypothesis.

Deep in the Honduran rainforest lies a city that has been untouched for hundreds of years. A civilization that can’t be tied to any known civilizations ever discovered. Archaeologists had surveyed and mapped the area last year from the air. They uncovered what looked to be large mounds, ruins, plazas, and what looked to be a pyramid.
The ruins belong to a civilization that occupied this remote area of Central America over 1,000 years ago, and then vanished without a trace. For the first time last Wednesday, the team was able to visit the site where they discovered stone sculptures and an array of jungle animals that likely hadn’t seen humans in hundreds of years.
Colorado State University archeologist Christopher Fisher said that the in tact condition of the site was “incredibly rare.” He went on to note that: “The undisturbed context is unique.” It is this pristine condition of the site that has led experts to believe it has gone undiscovered for hundreds of years.
Archeologists found 52 artifacts including stone seats, as well as carved vessels decorated with snakes, vultures, and other animals.

The team documented the objects they saw at the site, but have left them unexcavated at this point.
To protect the integrity of the site, the exact location is being kept a secret.
The legend of the city has grown for hundred of years. Explorers have been told of a lost jungle city deep in the rainforest where indigenous people spoke of a “white house” or a “white city” in which the natives took refuge from Spanish conquerors. It was spoken of as a mythical paradise where nobody ever returned from. Legend also spoke of the site as the “City of the Monkey God,” a place where a large pyramid was built with a monkey figure on the top.
The valley where the site is located has some of the densest forest on the entire continent. Mark Plotkin, the team’s ethnobiologist, who has 30 years experience in Amazonia, calls it: “Clearly the most undisturbed rainforest in Central America.”

Boven Parijs zijn opnieuw mysterieuze vluchten van drones opgemerkt. De politie kreeg vorige nacht zo'n tiental meldingen, en meerdere worden als geloofwaardig ingeschaald. Voorlopig zijn nog geen arrestaties verricht wegens de verboden vluchten. Naar verluidt heeft zich wel een getuige gemeld, die gezien zou hebben hoe vier mannen in het oosten van de Franse hoofdstad een drone lieten opstijgen.
Sinds begin oktober werden meer dan 60 dronevluchten boven Franse nucleaire installaties en Parijs geregistreerd, zegt minister van Binnenlandse Zaken Bernard Cazeneuve. De Franse regering heeft alvast maatregelen genomen om het fenomeen in te dijken. Zo zullen kopers van de kleine onbemande vliegtuigjes erover worden geïnformeerd, dat zij zich strafbaar kunnen maken. Het overvliegen van kerncentrales en ook de Franse hoofdstad is immers verboden.
Drones werden de voorbije maanden boven Parijs gespot aan onder meer de Eiffeltoren, het Elysée, de Amerikaanse ambassade, de Place de la Bastille en de Place de la Concorde. Het is niet duidelijk of privé-eigenaars gewoon hun nieuwe speelgoed willen uitproberen of dat er criminele motieven in het spel zijn.

DNA-analyse: “Vervormde Peruaanse schedels niet van mensen”
In 1928 ontdekte Julio Tello in een graftombe in het zuiden van Peru vreemde vervormde schedels die naar schatting 3000 jaar oud zijn. Sommigen hebben beweerd dat de schedels toebehoren aan buitenaardse bezoekers.
Brien Foerster zegt nu wetenschappelijk bewijs te hebben voor deze bewering. De meeste wetenschappers zijn van mening dat het gaat om een bizar ritueel van schedelvervorming waarbij de schedel werd vastgebonden om zijn vorm te veranderen en te verlengen. De schedels die op het Peruaanse schiereiland Paracas zijn gevonden, zijn echter 60 procent zwaarder dan normale schedels.
Foerster, directeur van het Historisch Museum te Paracas, claimt dat het DNA van de schedels niet afkomstig is van mensen. Hij stuurde vijf monsters van het mitochondriaal DNA van de schedels naar een geneticus. Die concludeerde dat het DNA onbekende mutaties bevat. De paar fragmenten die hij wist te sequencen wezen op een nieuwe mensachtige soort die in niets lijkt op de Homo sapiens, neanderthaler of Denisovamens.
De geneticus zei zelfs dat de schedels uit Paracas zo anders waren dat de soort waar ze aan toebehoren zich niet met mensen kon voortplanten. “Ik weet niet zeker of ze wel in de huidige evolutionaire stamboom passen,” zei hij.
Sommigen zeggen nu dat de schedels afkomstig moeten zijn van aliens die lang geleden de aarde bezochten en ons misschien zelfs de technologie gaven om piramides en Atlantis te bouwen.
Het is alleen onbekend welke geneticus het DNA-onderzoek heeft uitgevoerd. Volgens Foerster wil de man anoniem blijven, terwijl anderen speculeren dat het een pseudowetenschapper moet zijn geweest.
Daarnaast kan het zijn dat het onderzochte DNA dusdanig gedegradeerd was, dat het eigenlijk niet meer kon worden getest. De gegevens zullen eerst moeten worden gepubliceerd zodat het onderzoek kan worden herhaald door wetenschappers.

Scientists believe that a long winter, not an inferno, was most likely to blame for their extinction.
While there is little doubt that the massive asteroid that plowed in to our planet at the end of the Cretaceous era was the primary contributing factor in the disappearance of the dinosaurs, the exact mechanism through which the space rock brought about their demise continues to remain a matter of some debate.
Conventional theories depict a planet bathed in a widespread inferno hot enough to ignite vegetation and wipe out most of the Earth's inhabitants within a short space of time.
Dr Claire Belcher and her team at Exeter University however have a different theory.
By analyzing the effects of a heat furnace on living and non-living plant materials the scientists were able to determine that the asteroid impact would not have been hot enough to have caused such a widespread conflagration and that it is a lot more likely that the dinosaurs were instead wiped out over an extended period of time in the bitter winter conditions that inevitably followed.
"We’re not saying that an asteroid didn’t wipe out the dinosaurs, only that it probably didn’t cause the global firestorms that many people assumed had happened as a result of the impact," she said.
"This flips our understanding of the effects of the impact on its head and means that palaeontologists may need to look for new clues from fossils found a long way from the impact to better understand the mass extinction."

A statement on their website reads: "After excluding incorrect reports, it is acknowledged that at least 5% of reported UFO sightings remain unexplained, and as such can be classified as unidentified in the strictest sense.

Author, journalist and TV personality Nick Pope used to run the British Government's UFO project at the Ministry of Defence.
He said: "Around 80% of UFO sightings could be explained as misidentifications of something ordinary, such as aircraft lights, satellites, airships, weather balloons or planets.
"In around 15% of cases there was insufficient information to draw any firm conclusions.
"Approximately 5% of sightings seemed to defy conventional explanation."

Keck-sterrenwacht en NASA's Infrared Telescope Facility. Die zijn verspreid over een periode van zes jaar door een internationaal team van wetenschappers gemaakt.
Bij het onderzoek is de atmosfeer van Mars doorgelicht en zijn de eigenschappen van het water in verschillende delen van de planeetatmosfeer in kaart gebracht. De nieuwe kaarten zijn de eerste in hun soort.
Tot 1,6 kilometer diep Ongeveer vier miljard jaar geleden zou de jonge planeet Mars nat genoeg zijn geweest om haar volledig oppervlak met een 140 meter dikke laag water te bedekken. Maar het is waarschijnlijker dat het water zich in de laagst gelegen gebieden verzamelde en een oceaan vormde die bijna het halve noordelijke halfrond van Mars bestreek. Plaatselijk kan het water meer dan 1,6 kilometer diep zijn geweest, aldus de ESO, parallel lopend met een publicatie online in het wetenschappelijke tijdschrift Science.
Halfzwaar water De nieuwe schatting is gebaseerd op gedetailleerde waarnemingen van twee enigszins verschillende vormen van water in de Marsatmosfeer. De eerste is de van de aardse oceanen bekende vorm, die uit twee waterstofatomen en één zuurstofatoom bestaat: H2O. De tweede is HDO oftewel halfzwaar water, een natuurlijke variant waarin één van de waterstofatomen is vervangen door de zwaardere soortgenoot deuterium.
Omdat halfzwaar water zwaarder is dan normaal water, ontsnapt het na verdamping minder gemakkelijk de ruimte in. Dus hoe meer water een planeet verliest, des te groter wordt de HDO/H2O-verhouding van het resterende water, legt de ESO uit.
Opgeslagen in ondergrond Als Mars zoveel water is kwijtgeraakt, is de planeet hoogstwaarschijnlijk veel langer nat geweest dan tot nu toe werd gedacht. Dat zou betekenen dat de planeet ook langer levensvatbaar is, luidt het ook. Hetis mogelijk dat Mars ooit nóg meer water heeft gehad, waarvan een deel onder het oppervlak kan zijn opgeslagen.

Although the UFO initially looks like an ordinary aircraft in the distance, it later makes an incredibly sudden descent.

The speed at which the object changes its flight path and descends rules out known aircraft. Some believe the object is simply a bird. But birds generally don’t fly 400 m.p.h. like a commercial airliner.
It’s unclear who shot the video. And it’s also unclear why this video is currently making its rounds in the media (Yahoo!, AOL, etc.), because the video first surfaced back in 2012.

Unfortunately, there are red flags indicating that this video is nothing more than a hoax.
The first indication that the video is a creation is the cameraperson’s lack of response and failure to move the camera at all when the UFO displays its most incredible behavior. But the most damning evidence is the video’s apparent source–the YouTube channel O7TV belonging to a group called Audio World Color.
This channel posts CGI videos of incredible things like dragons, mermaids, and even a landed UFO.
The only real information this channel provides with its videos is, “Video Agency of Audio Color World own all distribution rights of the uploaded videos on our YouTube channel. If you like to use videos for uploads or commercial use please contact ‘info@audiocolorworld.com’,” indicating that this channel is a for-profit venture.
It’s incredibly unfortunate that so many people fill the Internet with fabricated UFO videos. It’s also unfortunate that the media and the general public are so easily fooled by these creations. Genuine aerial objects that cannot be identified do fly in our skies. But rarely do the genuine UFOs receive the attention they deserve. And, perhaps that is partially because photos and videos of the truly mysterious objects are rarely as sexy as the fabrications.
