New video of a triangle UFO flying across the night sky above Oregon. This was seen on Saturday, 13th June 2015.
Witness report:The night vision ending helps to show perspective, the trees, and that there is no light pulsations of the lighting as in typical FAA. This object is smaller then the larger UFO that have the morphing light arrays. Starting at 1:30 the shape is clearly defined. It’s on a different north-easterly flight path. A similar triangle was filmed a few years back for comparison.
Astronomer Royal: If we find aliens, they will be machines
Astronomer Royal: If we find aliens, they will be machines
Astronomer Royal Lord Martin Rees gives his talk on 'Mars to the Multiverse' at Cheltenham Science FestivalPhoto: SWNS
Prof Lord Rees told the Cheltenham Science Festival the first contact with aliens will be through robots
Alien contact is likely to come from machines living on other worlds outside of the solar system, the astronomer royal Martin Rees has said.
Prof Lord Rees, 72, told the Cheltenham Science Festival ‘I’m not holding my breath’ for signs of extraterrestrial life, but said if a signal was picked up it would not be from organic life, like humans.
He said that most space exploration would be carried out by machines, which would not constrained by the physical difficulties of existing in space or on other planets.
“I think it is quite likely that within a few centuries the overriding intelligence will be machines because they will have an easier time spreading beyond the Earth because they are not organic and most exploration will be by machines and not humans,” he said.
“If you were to detect a SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) signal it would be far more likely that it would be from a machine and not an organic creature.
“There has been just a thin sliver of time when organic beings have existed and billions of years after machines will take over, so they will be the future.”
Prof Rees said that only a few adventurous humans would ever leave Earth to colonise the solar system, where they would be forced to use technology to adapt to inhabitable worlds and start new civilisations.
He claimed that such cyber adaptations to new planets or moons would mark the start of the ‘post-human era.’
Space Adventures Ltd is already planning the first tourist trips to the dark side of the Moon, while SpaceX, the company founded by Elon Musk which regularly delivers payloads to the International Space Station, is hoping to start transporting tourists as well as cargo into space in the near future.
Prof Lord Rees, 72, told the Cheltenham Science Festival ‘I’m not holding my breath’ for signs of extraterrestrial life
Musk has also spoken of his ambitions to start a colony on Mars stating he would like to die on the planet ‘just not on impact.’
Astronauts have not ventured beyond low Earth obit since the last manned flight to the Moon in 1972.
Prof Rees said: “We won’t see another Apollo mission because that was fuelled by super-power rivalry. I think there will be people who go, but not in the mode of traditional astronauts, but crazy adventurers like Ranulph Feinnes and Elon Musk.
“By the end of the century there will be some people living away from the Earth. We will wish them good look in adapting their progeny who will need genetic adaptations.
“That will be the start of the post-human era because they will evolve to be a new species.
"I would predict that in the next 50 years or so all of the bodies in the solar system will have been mapped and probed by machine and some people will follow."
Prof Rees said he was concerned about the rise in biotechnology and warned that computers and robots will soon be so advanced they will be able to create the next generation of machines without human intervention.
Stephen Hawking recently cautioned that the rise in artificial intelligence could spell the end of mankind.
“Some people think we ought to have guidelines while other people we think we should not worry about that. I am certainly concerned about these sub autonomous military robots which can just put bullets in people” Prof Rees added.
“But Stephen Hawking has pronounced on this in a dogmatic way and got much more traction that the vein deserves,” he added.
We've seen it many times over with the Hollywood machine. Deep Impact vs. Armageddon. Volcano vs. Dante's Peak. The Prestige vs. The Illusionist. When one movie studio sees potential dollar signs about to explode from a competing company, they rush a similar film out for release. A film whose lonely script lay dormant in the shadows, never to see the light of day. Until that desperate studio executive, hungry to get back in the game, remembers that one script they brushed past many, many years ago that had promise, but it just wasn't the right time. But now that its estranged twin sibling is already in pre-production, it has just become the most important script in the studio's arsenal. Hey baby... this is show business!
This concept, although ridiculous at first glance, is prevalent not only in Hollywood, but it would seem that it is now trickling, drip by drip, into the ever-so-titillating world of UFO “smoking guns.” With two major headlines running a little less than a month apart, both the following claims of alien photos made headlines across the internet. They soon racked up millions of hits and an interest amongst UFO enthusiasts and the mass public sent both stories into viral oblivion. With both stories holding some water, the real question is; how tainted is the well? And just exactly what are the motives of those bringing forth the information? Let's that a look at both incidents, and just exactly what may smolder the smoking guns into dusty ash.
The Boyd Bushman Affair
On October 8th, 2014, a video was uploaded to Youtube of Boyd Bushman, a former Lockheed Martin engineer. The video, which lay dormant for almost two weeks, suddenly went viral, compiling millions of hits within days. In the video, Bushman, in a rather ominous and desolate deathbed confession (Died August 7th, 2014.) said that he had obtained information and photos of exotic, and somewhat extraterrestrial technology from a contact who had worked at Area 51. But the most intriguing photo to surface during the video was that of a small alien creature. According to information Bushman's contact gave him, this type of alien creature is “approximately four and a half to five feet tall” and “have three back bones” that are “actually cartilage.” Bushman also relayed that these aliens have been in close contact with government officials. “They're able to use their own voice by telepathy to talk to you,” Bushman said. “You walk in the room with one of them, and all of a sudden you find yourself giving the answer to your question in your own voice.”
Boyd Bushman presenting various photos of the alien & UFO
The video gained traction, many major news outlets taking notice. But it wouldn't last long. The story suddenly came to a disappointing halt when a chance glance by a Reddit user ignited suspicion. This user posted a photo of a toy alien that resembled the alien in Bushman's photo. The similarities were astounding. What was even worse is that the toy could be purchased at any given Walmart across the United States. It didn't take long for the entire deathbed confession to turn sour, even though Bushman was indeed a former Lockheed employee and served the position he first stated.
Heated debates began to spread that either Bushman had been fooled into believing that the alien in the photo was real, or, he had himself been spreading vicious disinformation all along. One is left wondering however, that in his final days, why he would perpetuate a hoax of such deceptive proportions. Was it simply to gain attention before dying? Or was Bushman used to spread a hoax by the hands of others? Perhaps, we will never know for sure, as the video will surly fade into fringe-filled obscurity as UFO-related controversy often does. But it would less than a month later that another claim of alien photos would make its way to the forefront. But this time, it would take place at one of the most prestigious collegiate universities in the United States.
The Tom Carey Affair
It was on November 12th, 2014, that a special presentation took place at American University. The panel discussion, titled: UFOs: Encounters by Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials, included talks by Dr. Richard Haines, co-founder of the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), Leslie Kean, investigative journalist and author of the New York Times Best-Selling book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record, and an extremely compelling talk by retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Charles Halt, a prime witness to the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident of 1980.
American University Panel Discussion- Credit WTOP
The panel discussion was highly informative and thought-provoking. Intelligent conversation took place between the panel and audience. It was exactly what the UFO topic needed. And then came a bomb that no one quite expected. Tom Carey, Roswell researcher, and co-author of Witness to Roswell, was invited, at the last minute, to participate in the discussion. That is when he told the crowd that he had the “smoking gun” that would prove the existence of aliens. His proof supposedly came in the form of photos depicting a dead alien allegedly from the famous 1947 UFO crash. He claimed that these photos were on Kodachrome color slides. He went on to legitimize the authenticity of the photos by saying, “What’s interesting is, the film is dated 1947. We took it to the official historian of Kodak up in Rochester, New York, and he did his due diligence on it, and he said yes, this filmstrip, the slides are from 1947. It’s 1947 stock. And from the emulsions on the image, it’s not something that’s been Photoshopped like today. It’s original 1947 images, and it shows an alien who’s been partially dissected lying in a case.”
Similar to the description of the alien in Bushman's photo from the deathbed confession, Carey described the alien in the photos he obtained in the following manner; "three and a half to four feet tall, the head is almost insect-like.” He went on to describe in morbid detail that... "The head has been severed, and there’s been a partial autopsy; the innards have been removed, and we believe the cadaver has been embalmed, at least at the time this picture was taken.”
Left: Tom Carey, Right: Don Schmitt (Co-Authors of "Witness to Roswell")
One may ask, How did a UFO researcher retrieve such an epic smoking gun? Carey responded to this inquiry, stating that he received the color slides from a woman in Texas. According to Carey, she... “was a high-powered Midland, Texas, lawyer with a pilot’s license. We think she was involved in intelligence in World War II, and her husband was a field geologist for an oil company.” So we have a supposed woman, that was supposedly involved in intelligence during the war who supposedly has photos of a dead alien from the supposed crash of a UFO. This would beg perhaps the most important question to be asked of Carey after admitting such a bomb on the panel and audience at American University. Where is the photo and can we see it?
Carey's response? He didn't have the photos with him and couldn't share it yet.
So here we sit, no closer to a smoking gun than before. And those in the UFO research community, who were so proud to have such prominent people speaking seriously at a college level , are left shaking their heads as to why such a sensational claim would be brought up during a ground-breaking achievement for the UFO discussion. In fact, Leslie Kean was quick to respond to the claim on her Facebook page only hours later, saying, “I had nothing to do with the Roswell part. Just want to make that clear.” She would go on to respond to a statement that the dead alien would overshadow the entire panel in terms of news coverage. “This is exactly what I predicted would happen, and it did. It was made worse by Carey's surprise announcement. I hope that people can see through that and realize how positive it was that the panel was hosted by a major university, and that's what's important.”
Leslie Kean, Investigative Journalist
Conclusion We have one dead alien claim hitting millions across the world over Youtube, and we have another hitting the headlines of major news outlets, completely drowning out an important panel discussion that could have brought serious attention to the UFO topic. Dead alien claim vs. dead alien claim. The Hollywood machine has won yet again. One is left wondering if money is a driving factor in all this. Is there someone deep in the shadows responsible for all this sensational material? Are they pulling strings and pocketing dollars, using the "Dead Alien" platform as their cash-cow? We may never know. The fact of the matter is that we are left with a deathbed confession with no solid proof, and a claim of alien photos with no photos to analyze. Simple as that.
What's even more frustrating is that even though Tom Carey is seen as a credible and honest researcher within the confines of the UFO research community, the moment his claims branch out in to the mainstream media, no one will care about the careful research he has done for decades and decades. They will simply attach him to this photo debacle until the actual photos are released. And even then, there will be endless amounts of conjecture and accusations, and we will be left, yet again, in a threat of the story fading away into obscurity. Carey did promise that the photos will be released sometime in 2015. So perhaps we will just have to wait and see what happens. But until then, we are left with the quandary that has existed with the UFO community for so long; we want so much to be taken seriously, yet when it comes down to it, we remain, as we always have, our own worst enemies.

A "Crash Course" on the Roswell Incident
A "Crash Course" on the Roswell Incident
The Roswell incident is known world-wide, and remains one of the most compelling UFO cases in the modern UFO era. For those who may know the bare essentials, here's a primer on this deeply compelling and controversial case.
Straight out of an old fashioned horror movie, July 3rd boasted a rather dark and stormy night. Dan Wilmot, a business owner in Roswell, NM, was sitting on the front porch of his house with his wife, admiring the brilliant storm that surged through the pitch black skies. The lighting crackled with static perfection, loud crashes of thunder following behind. A few more streaks of wild electricity lit up the entire horizon and soon faded away. But Wilmot noticed one singular glowing ball of brightness hanging silently behind. It began to move towards he and his wife at incredible speeds. As it got closer, Wilmot could see that this was not just any light, but a solid object in the shape of what he would later describe as “saucer-like”. The object coasted through the sky and soon disappeared out of sight. Wilmot would report it to the Roswell Daily Record the following morning. But his report would soon be trumped by something much more incredible. The object he had seen the night prior had apparently crashed in to the cold, vast desert, ushering in the most famous UFO incident of all time.
Mac Brazel
It was that morning that Mac Brazel, the foreman of the J.B. Foster Ranch just outside Roswell, rode his horse out to the fields to check on his sheep, fearing that some may have been scared and scattered in the storm the night before. As he rode deeper in to the field, it wasn't the sheep that seemed to be scattered, but a brilliant excess of shiny debris all along the pastures. The shiny material glistened in the morning sun, and Mac Brazel was quick to gather some of it and bring it home to show some of his friends and neighbors. He would eventually contact the local authorities, who in return, suspecting that it might be something military, contacted the authorities at Roswell Army Air Field.
Major Jesse Marcel, an Intelligence Officer at the 509th Bomb Group, would receive the call. He would personally go out to the field to investigate the matter. Upon viewing the wreckage, Marcel soon realized that this needed to be contained immediately. Soon, the entire field was stripped of the debris and quickly transported to Roswell Army Air Field.
A few days passed, and news broke about the incident in local newspapers. Soon, Colonel William Blanchard, Commander of the 509th Bomb Group, issued the first official press release, stating that a crashed disk had been recovered. But within hours, the statement was rescinded by a second press release that would this time be issued by General Roger Ramey, Commander of the Eighth Air Force, stating that Major Marcel had mistaken the wreckage for a crashed weather balloon and radar reflector. A famous photo was taken of Marcel and Ramey hunched over the supposed weather balloon wreckage. But many, many years later, Marcel would state that when he placed the original material on Ramey's desk, Ramey took him out of the room to view a map of where the exact crash site had been. Upon returning to the office, Marcel noticed that the material he had brought in had been replaced with shards of a weather balloon. Brig. Gen. Thomas Dubose, Chief of Staff of the Eighth Air Force was in the vicinity at the time, and has since gone on record, stating “It was a cover story. The whole balloon part of it. That was the part of the story we were told to give to the public and that was it.”
General Roger Ramey (Left) and Major Jesse Marcel with the "wreckage"
The Roswell incident was kept under tight cover after the two controversial press releases. Direct personnel involved with the recovery efforts, the transport of wreckage to Fort Worth, Texas, and those who spoke out about the possibility of so called “non-human” bodies being seen at the site, were shipped off to destinations across the globe or simply disappeared. It seems that the powers that be were swiftly covering up something much more important than a mere weather balloon accident. The cover-up had worked, and decades upon decades passed before a chance encounter in 1978 between Nuclear Physicist and author, Stanton T. Friedman, and a now retired Major Jesse Marcel. Friedman would go on to interview Marcel about his participation in the entire event, and soon, he and many other authors were starting to take notice. Articles, books, interviews, and reports began to flood in, and by the early 1990s, Roswell was exploding in to the mainstream.
Stanton T. Friedman, Nuclear Physicist
Quick to put a lid on the case yet again, the Air Force itself published a report about the incident titled, Roswell Report: Case Closed (The Official United States Air Force Report). In this 250 page publication, every part of the story was essentially debunked, disclosing that it had been a secret spy balloon known as Project MOGUL, and that the alleged bodies were simply test dummies. These claims by the Air Force have been rebuked by UFO researchers, and vise-versa, causing the debate to wage on.
Colonel John Haynes speaking about the "Roswell Report"
Official Report by the U.S. Air Force
Sadly, anyone directly involved with the Roswell incident began a slow race with the undertaker, inevitably assuring that any first hand account would soon fade into oblivion. That being said, without the unearthing of this extremely important case that simply could have fizzled only days after it occurred, arguably remains one of the most widely publicized, investigated, and most important UFO cases of all time.

A Tough Week for Skeptics - Shag Harbor, 1967
A Tough Week for Skeptics - Shag Harbor, 1967
In the small fishing village of Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia, things were pretty simple and quiet for this modest Canadian province. But on October 4th of 1967, the village would host one of the most well documented UFO incidents of all time.
Residents of the town would report seeing four orange lights in tight formation flashing in rapid sequence across the night sky. A group of teens that were out fishing noticed that the lights were making a brisk descent towards the water. But instead of disappearing in to the murky depths, the lights seemed to float effortlessly on the surface before disappearing in to the water. Because of this, the teens believed it to be an airplane that had crashed about one-half mile from the shore. Another young man who had been fishing quickly phoned the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) to report the crash of an aircraft. The police dispatcher brushed off the young man, believing him to have been inebriated, but soon, over a dozen other calls flooded the station. Police immediately went out to investigate.
Unbeknownst to the RCMP, Constable Ron Pound was patrolling an area near the alleged incident. He witnessed the four orange lights moving at tremendous speed. As he sped up his vehicle, he believed the four lights to all be connected to a single aircraft, and estimated it to be about sixty feet in length. He reached the shoreline where he was soon joined by fellow officers, Police Corporal Victor Werbieki, and Constable Ron O'Brien. Along with over thirty other witnesses, they all watched as the orange lights slowly changed to a yellowish tint, and it moved eerily slow across the surface of the water, leaving a similar yellowish colored foam in it's wake. Some witnesses claimed to have seen the actual structure of the object, reporting it as “dome-shaped.”
Artwork by Hal Crawford in "Canadian UFO Report, No. 1", August 1967.
The object then began to sink in to the ice-cold waters, a loud “whooshing” sound being heard by several witnesses. The Canadian Coast Guard was called to the scene, but before they could arrive, two RCMP officers has already secured local fishermen's boats and headed towards the area for a possible search and rescue mission. The lights were no longer visible, but the yellow foam remained. The officers and fisherman who assisted, all said that the foam was like no sea foam they had ever seen, much thicker than anything that could be caused naturally. They had to cut their way through it just to look for survivors of the supposed crash. After several hours of searching, nothing could be found. The RCMP, along with The Coast Guard, contacted their local NORAD station and the Rescue Coordination Center, asking if there had been any reports that evening of a missing aircraft either civilian or military. They had nothing.
The following morning of October 5th, the Canadian Forces Headquarters sent out specially trained divers from the Navy and RCMP to systematically search the seabed in the alleged area where the crash had occurred. They searched for several days, and found absolutely nothing. Local newspaper began to circulate speculative theories of a Russian spacecraft, submarine, or spy satellite being the enigmatic culprit. There were also rumors that the United States had launched their own investigation in to the incident. Slowly, the headlines made their way to the back of the newspapers, and soon faded in to obscurity as most UFO cases do. But in a similar fashion to previous cases, the nail in the coffin is twisted upward, and new information soon came to light on the Shag Harbor incident in 1993.
Due to the exhaustive dedication by MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) investigators, Chris Styles and Don Ledger were able to compile a list of first hand witnesses, and individuals involved with the search and recovery efforts. It soon became clear that this case wasn't as cut and dry as first thought. RCMP was told that no aircraft had been reported missing, which may have been true. But the object itself was indeed tracked. And where it submerged in to the water, the radar's were able to follow the object another twenty five miles to an area known as Government Point. In the early 1960s, the United States maintained a small military base there, and were using a highly technical tracking radar known as a MAD (Magnetic Anomaly Detection) grid, for the sole purpose of tracking submarines in the North Atlantic sea. It was with this grid that the U.S. tracked the Shag Harbor object and dispatched NAVY vessels to surround it. For three days, the object showed no signs of function or activity. And then another object appeared under the water to accompany the first. The NAVY stood by for nearly a week and held position over the two objects, not exactly sure how to proceed in terms of possible threat or the scary possibility that more objects would appear. It was in this highly tense week that a Russian submarine had breached Canadian waters, and several NAVY vessels from the UFO incident were sent to investigate. This is when the UFOs made their move towards the Gulf of Maine. The NAVY vessels pursued the objects, but simply could not keep up with the tremendous speed. In complete shock and awe, the objects ascending to the surface, and shot skyward, disappearing completely out of sight.
Don Ledger
Chris Styles
It should be said that these accounts came from highly credible individuals involved with the incident, but their names were protected by both MUFON investigators, Styles and Ledger, to protect them from possible threat or security oaths, therefore the aforementioned information, just like most witness testimony, was given “off the record”. No matter the case, something extremely strange occurred in Shag Harbor on that dark, cold night, and even stretched southward towards the United States. It could perhaps be best summarized with a quote from the an October 14th editorial from The Chronicle-Herald : “Imagination and or natural phenomena seem to be the weakest, of explanations. It has been a tough week for skeptics.”

The Cash/Landrum Incident - December 28th, 1980
The Cash/Landrum Incident - December 28th, 1980
Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, Colby Landrum
December 28th, 1980 After a nice meal out, Betty Cash and Vickie Landrum, along with Colby, Landrum's seven year old grandson, began their drive home to Dayton, Texas. It was about 9:00pm and getting rather dark outside. The back wood roads were getting harder and harder to see as they made way down an extremely isolated path. Driving slowly, Betty and Vicky both noticed a large, bright light above the tree tops outside. Brushing it off, assuming it was a plane approaching Houston Intercontinental Airport, about 35 miles away, they continued on their drive. A few moments later, Colby would be the one to see the light again and pointed it out to his grandmother in the front seat. This time, the light was much larger and burning even brighter. Vickie told Cash to stop the car so that she could get a better look at whatever it may be. Within moments, she exited the vehicle and stared up at a what appeared to be a diamond-shaped object which was intermittently emanating bright flames at the base. Cash also got out of the car to observe the object, Colby too scared to get out of the car.
They would later describe the diamond-shaped object as a dull metallic silver, about the size of a water tower, it's top a bottom points flat instead of sharp. In the center were a row of blue lights that pulsated. From the bottom of the object, flames spewed towards the ground. As the flames grew weaker, the object would descend a few feet each time. (Clark, Jerome, The UFO Encyclopedia: The Phenomenon from the Beginning, Volume 1: A-K )
Rendering of the incident via www.blueblurrylines.com
Scared that the object might crash or perhaps even land, the two went to get back in the car, but the heat from the object was so hot that when they touched the car door, it was almost sizzling. Cash had to use her coat as an oven mitt to get the door open. Allegedly, when Vickie got back in the passenger seat, she put her hand on the vinyl dashboard, and again, because of the heat, the vinyl had turned soft and her hand left a permanent handprint. Some argued that this was proof of the experience, yet no photographic evidence of the dashboard exists, thus leaving this evidence inconclusive. Sitting in the car, trying to stay calm, the three of them watched as the object ignited the hottest flame yet, ascending back above the tree tops at great heights. Suddenly, the fluttering flurry of propellers could be heard all around them. Within moments, 23 military helicopters suddenly appeared, in tight formation, surrounding the object. Cash hit the gas, and soon they were down the road, leaving the experience behind them. But little did they know, that whatever it was in the sky that night, was soon to become a permanent part of their lives.
After Cash dropped off Vickie and Colby at home, she tried to retire for the night. Perhaps it was the adrenaline still racing through her blood, but she tossed and turned in bed. It soon became clear that it wasn't the after effect of excitement, but serious health issues. She would suffer from nausea, vomiting, weakness, and a burning sensation in her eyes. Vickie and Colby would suffer many related symptoms as well, though it seemed that Cash was experiencing the bulk of it. Days later, she would notice large, painful blisters forming all over her body. She was rushed to the hospital, and spent almost two weeks under close examination, all the while, clumps of her hair falling out and patched of skin peeling away. Again, The Landrum's would suffer very similar issues. Upon an an examination by local radiologists, they concluded : “We have strong evidence that these patients have suffered secondary damage to ionizing radiation. It is also possible that there was an infrared or ultraviolet component as well.” (Clark, Jerome. pg.176, The UFO Encyclopedia: The Phenomenon from the Beginning, Volume 1: A-K)
Health issues with Betty Cash
Health issues with Vickie Landrum
As the health of all three continued to be threatened by what they could only assume was directly connected to the UFO incident, Vickie Landrum demanded that an investigation take place on what was in the sky that night and how it had ultimately effected her, her friend, and her grandson. She began a game of phone tag with various U.S. Government agencies. When they learned that she was inquiring about a possible UFO sighting, she was given the runaround. She pressed on until finally being connected to aerospace engineer, John Schuessler, who worked for NASA at the time. He was also ,amongst his peers, known to be moderately interested in the UFO phenomenon. Schuessler would hook up with the civilian UFO research group, MUFON, to look in to the case. Besides the object itself, the most mystifying aspect of the incident concerned the amount of helicopters involved. They had to be connected to some sort of military branch, so Schuessler inquired. After rigorous communication and investigation, he simply could find no evidence that these helicopters were military, or at least, in connection with the military branches that we, as civilians, knew of. This led to deepening the investigation, which, in 1982, became the job of Lt. Col. George Sarran of the Department of the Army. But again, even Sarran could find no connection to any armed forces. Although, he did not deny that that Cash and the Landrum's hadn't witnessed this event, he stated simply, “Ms. Landrum and Ms. Cash were credible... there was no perception that anyone was trying to exaggerate the truth.”
It seemed that these helicopters simply did not exist. Could it have been a mass misconception by the three witnesses? Had they influenced one another's perception as this incredible event was taking place? Clearly, something was in the sky burning bright, but was it really being followed by unmarked, and at this point, non-existent helicopters? The answer was yes. And it would it take a Dayton police officer to finally corroborate the presence of these man-made aircraft. Detective Lamar Walker was out with wife when they both witnessed a large cluster of twin propeller helicopters racing across the sky. Their formation was tight and they were clearly on a mission. Although Walker never saw the object that these helicopters were allegedly in pursuit of, his coming forward did at least reinforce Cash and Landrum's account that an unusual amount of aerial activity was happening in such a remote area on that seemingly normal night. As the investigation marched on, the health of the two women only worsened. It was suggested that they hire a lawyer to seek compensation for their rapid health deterioration.
Several years of legal battles ensued. The U.S. Government was being served for over $20 million in damages to Cash and the Landrums. On August 21st, 1986, the U.S District Court would dismiss the case, stating that the plaintiff's had not provided sufficient proof that the helicopters in question were associated in any way with the U.S. Government, or that any military branch had a diamond-shaped aircraft in its possession that would emanate radiation to the lengths of the women's symptoms.
Beaten, but not down for the count, the women would continue to speak out about the incident, appearing on many TV and radio programs to tell their story. Skeptics would dismiss the case, stating that no proof existed that the witnesses hadn't had these health problems before the alleged incident. Others said that if they had been susceptible to radiation that night, it would have easily killed them on the spot. This theory holds little water for even the lament person however, common sense being that not all radiation kills. It depends on the level of exposure and the amount of time the person is in contact with it. Fighting to keep their story alive, fate would finally catch up to both of them. Betty Cash would die at the age of 71, on December 29th, 1998. This was coincidentally the 18th anniversary of the incident. Vickie Landrum would die September 12th, 2007, seven days prior to her 84th birthday. As for Colby, the seven year old boy who sat terrified in the back seat during the 1980 incident, his health, although by no means perfect, seems to not have been effected as immensely that of Cash and his grandmother. After decades of silence, he has recently started coming forward about the incident, backing up almost everything that had been first reported. Perhaps its sheer curiosity, or a feeling of finding some sort of resolution for his grandmother, but Colby continues to search for answers to what happened over the skies of Texas that night, and just exactly who or what was responsible for this life altering, and perhaps, life ending experience.
Is our world an intricate, inestimable hallucination? A respected researcher working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory supposes it is conceivable.
This inquiry has run over the brains of many of us and the idea is much more established than we might suspect. French philosopher René Descartes was the first to verbalize the thought of a substance adamantly sustaining us expound funnel dreams. Three centuries and a half later, we still can't shake the inclination that the world we see with our senses may be only a hologram.
Rich Terrile, the chief of NASA's Center for Evolutionary Computation and Automated Design not just accepts this is conceivable; he hypothesizes that people will soon have the capacity to make likewise immeasurable reenactments in the future.
According to Rich, a programmer from the far future could have composed our universe utilizing computational influence far better than our own. His reasons are a riddle to us. Maybe he needed to perceive how things may have happened much sooner than his time. Perhaps he did it because of weariness, instead of interest.
If this is the situation, then our whole universe would be just a simulation, our existence is a moderate aspect. Yet, is there any evidence supporting this wild situation? Actually, there is.
Astoundingly, the universe acts simply like it’s a piece of a simulation. It just shows certain qualities when watched, like the way the Grand Theft Auto amusement motor just creates the territory that the player is currently in.
Quantum mechanics may be a mind- twister for us non-researchers; however one of its real guidelines can be clarified with almost embarrassing ease: subatomic particles have no clear state unless watched. That is, things turn out to be genuine and remain as such the length of we keep our eyes on them. This problem has astounded researchers for quite a while and one conceivable clarification for this conduct is that we live inside a simulation.
Scientists of the University of California came up with an unusual hypothesis suggesting that space aliens have long settled on Earth and lived among us as observers.
Of course, there is no evidence of this, but according to ancient sources, including the Bible, our planet has been visited by representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations since its inception.
In 2000 scientists of the University of California, led by Professor Jonathan Malkisom, held a press conference, during which the sensational news that representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations have long been among humans was reported. They adopted human appearance and closely monitor our every move. “It’s like an extreme version of the camouflage found in some insects and animals. Moreover, according to historical records, there have been aliens on Earth from the beginning of creation,” says Adrian Kent of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Canada.
A confirmation of the words of the Canadian scientist can be found in the Book of Genesis, at the point where the confrontation of Jacob with the Almighty is described:
“And Jacob remained alone; and a man wrestled with him until the rising of the dawn.”
The ancient philosophers were always looking for the answer to the question whether beings arriving from the sky are members of the same tribe as the angels. But as a rule, the answer was no, since the arriving beings were mortal, while the angels live forever. The question of extraterrestrial civilizations was openly and seriously discussed for the first time only in the twentieth century, especially after the CIA declassified a small part of the archive on the so-called Roswell case, when the U.S. militaries found a crashed flying saucer and delivered its parts to the base.
There is information that in addition to the unknown space object debris, the bodies of three aliens were found and taken to the base. The cause of the incident was the impact of ground radars on the navigation equipment of aliens.
According to another version, the UFO was hit by lightning.
There are reports that U.S. President John F. Kennedy, a few days before his death, asked the head of the CIA to provide all the materials about the incident, but he did not manage to access the most secret archives.
From the 1980′s, many people started claiming that they not only had seen the appearance of a UFO in the sky, but had been inside these objects, and even had come into contact with the aliens.
One of the most famous contactees is Bulgarian prophet Vanga:
“Sometimes one of the aliens takes my hand. They communicate only with a few inhabitants of our planet. They are constantly watching us,” said Vanga about her contacts with representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations.
What do aliens want on Earth?
There is only a hypothesis, which was suggested by British scientist Timothy Good in his book,
“The Earth is no longer an ‘intermediate base.’ They have settled here for a good long time now.”
In January 2011, British scientists announced the need to prepare for emergency meeting with an extraterrestrial civilization, and even suggested the foundation of a special committee at the UN.

ALIEN CRAFT PHOTOGRAPHED OVER OAKLEY AUSTRALIA 6-12-15 OAKLEY AUSTRALIA
An object the photographer believes to be a UFO was spotted flying over Oakey at 6.30 am this morning. Field Quip employee Greg Young decided to capture the beauty of the sunrise by taking a photo and it wasn’t until he zoomed in on his iphone that he noticed the strange object.
Mr Young said he looked back up at the sky and noticed the triangular object flying through the clouds followed by a dark blue trail. “It was all a bit weird because a few moments earlier me and my co-worker saw some bright flashing lights from the East and we couldn’t work out what they were,” Mr Young said. “Then we saw this thing and it just made for a really odd morning. “I don’t believe in aliens or anything like that but it definitely looked like something,” he said. Field Quip operations manager Darren Mauger said he did not believe in aliens but he was intrigued by the object. “I completely disbelieve in aliens and UFOs but I did find it strange,” Mr Mauger said. “Greg came in to show me the photo and by the time I went back outside it was gone. “He said it wasn’t travelling very fast and was flying silently but it had disappeared within a minute,” he said.
Mustang was once an independent kingdom, although closely tied by language and culture to Tibet. From the 15th century to the 17th century, its strategic location granted Mustang control over the trade between the Himalayas and India. At the end of the 18th century the kingdom was annexed by Nepal.
However, the monarchy ceased to exist as the Kingdom of Lo in Upper (northern) Mustang, with its capital at Lo Manthang on October 7, 2008, by order of the Government of Nepal. The last king (raja or gyelpo) was Jigme Palbar Bista (b. 1930), who traces his lineage back to Ame Pal, the warrior who is said to have founded the Buddhist kingdom in 1350…

I found this the other day after Ironman posted about the Mustang Caves and to me it
looked like a big Vimana and lots of little ones. I spotted what to me looks like a depiction of
a flying Vimana, possibly a UFO in ancient Part on the wall and I felt I should post this.
The Wandjina or Wondjina are a very common figure seen in Australian Aboriginal cave paintings.
They are most commonly seen in the North West of Australia, a place called The Kimberley’s. Which is basically a large oasis surrounded by the harshest desert and wild ocean.
Beings some of the closest Australian land to Southern Asia, it is likely that the Aborigines who settled in The Kimberley’s were some of the first people to reach Australia over some 50,000 years ago. Some evidence even points to them coming up to 70,000 years ago.
Aboriginal dream time stories and cave paintings have often been considered more myth then reality, like the stories we find in the teachings of modern day religions. But recent discoveries of Animal fossils such as the mega fauna have revealed that some of these stories were probably once accounts of real life events; passed down by thousands of generations.
So it is not impossible to believe that if these drawings are not based on humans they could be based on some other real life thing.
The thing that really gets me about the Wandjina is that they are ALWAYS painted with big dark eyes. There is no shortage of dark pigments, so why if they were drawing a fellow Aboriginal did they not make the body dark and eyes light?
Why were the eyes always so disproportionate to the face and nose?
Why not draw the mouth? There has never been a wandjina found with a mouth.
The story goes that:
WANDJINA, came down from the Milky Way during DREAMTIME and created the earth and all its inhabitants. Then he took one look at those inhabitants and headed back home for reinforcements. This was going to be a tricky job.
With the aid of the DREAMTIME-SNAKE, the WANDJINA descended and spent their DREAMTIME creating, teaching and being God-like to the natives. These Gods from the Milky Way were so powerful that they didn’t need to speak. So they didn’t bother to have mouths.
They were definite good guys, and are still worshipped and respected Top Gods to this day. (And how many deities can still say that?) Eye-witness reports are thin on the ground, but many ancient cave paintings still exist and show eerie creatures with large heads, huge black eyes and suspiciously spacesuit-like garments. In fact, they look just like Grey aliens from modern U.F.O. abduction scenarios.
Strangely enough, in 1838, a sea captain discovered an amazing treasure trove of Aboriginal artistry, filled with primitive and powerful WANDJINA cave pictures. His name was Captain Grey. Coincidence??? We can’t tell you because the Kimberley tribes are very close-mouthed, just like their WANDJINA.
Alien or not there is no denying the fact how intriguing these paintings are:
U.I.P Summary
No matter how much we try to look for answers about ‘Alien’ looking drawings from the past there is no clear explanation, apart from the old stories of the past…..which gives us here at U.I.P the impression that these beings potentially were not from this world!
There can be no denying the fact that in the the human race past there was some interaction with beings that we have no real knowledge of…..All around the world there are reminders of this, from South America, to Egypt and on to Australia! Hopefully soon we will discover WHO these beings are and will they come back !?
Thousands of miles from suspected alien crash sites, the people of Portsmouth have good reason to consider themselves safe from the prying eyes of extra-terrestrials.
But images shared by residents of what appears to be a UFO earlier this week suggest otherwise.
Hovering ominously in the dusk sky, the dark grey, disc-like object has sparked mystery among sceptics and space enthusiasts alike.

Mystery: Residents were baffled by the sighting of a grey disc-shaped UFO in Portsmouth on Tuesday night
And as weather experts rule out the possibility that the object was a cloud, the town has been left wondering just exactly what it was flying over its homes on Tuesday evening.
Johnny Blackwell from Southsea said: 'I don’t believe in UFOs, but when I saw this I didn’t know what it was.
'It didn't look like a cloud, and it was moving very fast.
'It was a grey, disc-like shape, which I know sounds like a stereotypical UFO, but that’s what it looked like.
'I don’t know much about military aircraft, but this was very fast-moving and very odd to see,' the 23-year-old added.
Another observer, who declined to be named, said: 'My initial thought was it was an aeroplane, but it was just moving too quickly.
'I was the only one that saw it but was quick enough to take the picture.
'I definitely believe in UFOs and am very interested in science fiction, and often look up at the sky in the evening wondering if there is anything or anyone else out there.'
Twitter users shared their confusion online.
Josh Harcourt-Kelly wrote: 'Watching the sky and saw what looked like a UFO! Starting to believe in what people have been saying.'
Accompanied with the hash-tag '#pompeyufo,' another, writing under the name Meral, said: 'What's this I'm hearing about a UFO spotted over Portsmouth'.
The 'fast-moving' object appeared at around 7pm and appeared to some observes to be flying too quickly to be a plane or military aircraft
Experts dismissed claims that the object was a cloud, saying it was 'nothing to do with the weather'.
Laura Young, from the Met Office, said: 'After looking at the images, I can say the object is nothing to do with the weather.
'There is no meteorological explanation for it. It's not a cloud.'
Karen Masters, senior lecturer in the institute of cosmology and gravitation at The University of Portsmouth, added: ‘Given the pictures show a dark object against a daytime sky, it’s clearly not an astronomical object.
'Many UFO sightings are the planet Venus, but this one can’t be that.'
Those fearing alien invasion can rest easy however as even if there is extra-terrestrial life somewhere in the galaxy, it is too far away to make contact with Earth, she added.
'The distances in space are so vast that it’s just not possible for aliens to be visiting Earth, so any interpretation suggesting this is an alien spacecraft is clearly wrong.'
The Chinese Defense Ministry confirmed the fourth test of a hypersonic nuclear delivery vehicle, which the US called an “extreme maneuver,” amid rising tensions between the two powers in the South China Sea.
The test of the hypersonic glide vehicle, which the US has dubbed the “WU-14”, was carried out on June 7 and is the missile’s fourth test in 18 months.
"The scheduled scientific research and experiments in our territory is normal, and those tests are not targeted at any country and specific goals," the ministry said in response to a report published on Thursday by the Free Beacon.
The strategic strike weapon is extremely advanced and can travel at 10 times the speed of sound, or 12,231.01kph.
US missile defenses can only counter ballistic missiles and warheads that have predictable trajectories. The Wu-14 is capable of maneuvering during flight while travelling at the edge of space, and so is extremely difficult to shoot down.
US intelligence officials have called the tests “extreme maneuvers,” but experts say the timing of the test launch was designed to coincide with a visit to Washington by Fan Changlong, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission.
Fan will visit the US for a week and the launch was timed to increase his “bargaining power [at] the negotiating table when he deals with his US counterpart,” Macau-based military observer Antony Wong told the South China Post.
Fan held talks with US Defense Secretary Ash Carter on Friday. The disputed islands in the South China Sea were top of their agenda, according to Chinese state media.
The US thinks China is acting aggressively in the South China Sea and Carter “called on China and all claimants to implement a lasting halt on land reclamation, cease further militarization, and pursue a peaceful resolution of territorial disputes in accordance with international law,” the Pentagon said in a statement on the meeting.
China maintains most of the South China Sea is its own, but there are overlapping claims with the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam.
China recently built artificial islands in areas over which the Philippines and other countries also have claims. Both the Philippines and Japan have opposed China’s attempts to reclaim land in the South China Sea.
Hawks in Congress said Fan’s visit to the US should have been canceled, because of recent reports of US government computer networks being hacked by the Chinese military.
The WU-14’s test flight was also interpreted by some military analysts in China as a response to a flight over the South China Sea by a US spy plane last month.
But the analysts also stressed the WU-14 is primarily a defensive and not an offensive weapon, although it is capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
“The Wu-14 … is designed to penetrate US missile defense systems, meaning the PLA is capable of defending China’s territorial sovereignty. But such a test is only a nuclear deterrent. Neither China nor the US wants to declare war over the South China Sea issues,” said Professor He Qisong, a defense policy specialist at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.

Rosetta's lander Philae has woken up after seven months in hibernation on the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
The signals were received at ESA's European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt at 22:28 CEST on 13 June. More than 300 data packets have been analysed by the teams at the Lander Control Center at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
"Philae is doing very well: It has an operating temperature of -35ºC and has 24 Watts available," explains DLR Philae Project Manager Dr. Stephan Ulamec. "The lander is ready for operations."
For 85 seconds Philae "spoke" with its team on ground, via Rosetta, in the first contact since going into hibernation in November.
When analysing the status data it became clear that Philae also must have been awake earlier: "We have also received historical data - so far, however, the lander had not been able to contact us earlier."
Now the scientists are waiting for the next contact. There are still more than 8000 data packets in Philae’s mass memory which will give the DLR team information on what happened to the lander in the past few days on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
Philae shut down on 15 November 2015 at 1:15 CET after being in operation on the comet for about 60 hours. Since 12 March 2015 the communication unit on orbiter Rosetta was turned on to listen out for the lander.
Rosetta is an ESA mission with contributions from its Member States and NASA. Rosetta's Philae lander is contributed by a consortium led by DLR, MPS, CNES and ASI.
New research shows that Saturn's outermost ring, discovered in 2009, is far larger than previously thought
A giant ring around Saturn is even larger than thought, spanning an area of space nearly 7,000 times larger than Saturn itself, researchers say.
"We knew it was the biggest ring, but know we find it's even bigger than we thought, new and improved," the study's lead author, Douglas Hamilton, a planetary scientist at the University of Maryland, College Park, told Space.com.
The immense ring was discovered around Saturn in 2009. The dark grains of dust making up this faint ring are probably debris that cosmic impacts knocked off the gas giant's distant and equally dark moon Phoebe.
"It's fascinating that this ring can exist," Hamilton said. "We're told in science that planetary rings are small and close to their parent planets — if they're too far away from their planets, moons form rather than rings. This discovery just turns that idea on its head — the universe is a more interesting and surprising place than we thought." [Amazing Photos of Saturn's Rings]
Astronomers first suspected the existence of the Phoebe ring after looking at one of Saturn's other moons, Iapetus.
"Like our moon, Iapetus always has one side facing toward Saturn, which means it also always has one side pointing in the direction of its motion around Saturn, its leading side," Hamilton said. "Iapetus is an icy moon, and intrinsically bright white, but its leading face is very strikingly jet black. That contamination is what led us to look for what turned out to be a surprisingly large ring."
NASA's infrared Spitzer Space Telescope first detected the Phoebe ring extending between distances of 128 to 207 times the radius of Saturn — that is, from about 4.8 million to 7.7 million miles (7.7 million to 12.4 million kilometers) from the planet. This made it about 12.5 times the average distance between Earth and the moon in width, well more than 10 times larger than Saturn's previously largest known ring, the E ring. [Photos: The Rings and Moons of Saturn]
New infrared images from NASA's WISE spacecraft reveal the Phoebe ring actually extends between distances of 100 to a surprisingly distant 270 times the radius of Saturn — that is, about 3.75 million to 10.1 million miles (6 million to 16.2 million km) from the planet.
The dark grains making up the Phoebe ring absorb sunlight, which makes the ring difficult to see if one looks for visible light but much easier to see if one looks for heat in the form of infrared radiation, which the WISE spacecraft imaged.
The researchers noted their new estimates are conservative ones. The Phoebe ring may actually extend between distances of 50 to more than 270 times the radius of Saturn.
The Phoebe ring is made up mainly of dust particles about 10 to 20 microns in size, or about one-tenth to one-fifth the average width of a human hair. Rocks that are the size of soccer balls or larger with diameters of more than about 7.8 inches (20 centimeters) make up no more than about 10 percent of the ring.
The particles making up the Phoebe ring may be millions to billions of years old, Hamilton said. Their extreme age is most likely due to how spread out they are, and thus unlikely to strike and destroy each other in collisions.
"A cubic kilometer of space in the Phoebe ring might have just a few dozen dust particles, maybe 100 at most," Hamilton said. "It's really empty."
These findings suggest that Saturn possesses three kinds of rings, Hamilton said. The main rings are constantly changing, made of fast-moving house-size chunks of ice that gently collide, break apart and reform every hour or so. The E ring is filled with frozen water droplets from geysers on the icy moon Enceladus that last maybe a century or so before they strike another moon of Saturn or get blown away from the gas giant's orbit entirely. The vast Phoebe ring has million- to billion-year-old dust particles, and likely some larger objects as well.
"Saturn's main rings are like the fabled elephant graveyard — mysterious and filled with mostly large bones that contain clues about the recent past," Hamilton said. "The E ring, then, is the chipmunk graveyard in which all of the bones are small and from the modern era, and the Phoebe ring is the dinosaur graveyard in which we find ancient bones of all sizes, most of them tiny fragments but some quite immense."
Hamilton and his colleagues suspect that Jupiter may possess a similarly giant ring. "Whenever a planet has a distant satellite, it will probably have a distant ring as well," he said. "We see Saturn's because it's bright enough to image; Jupiter's is probably fainter and harder to spot."
In the future, Hamilton and his colleagues would like to use Earth's largest ground telescopes to see the Phoebe ring using visible light. "In combination with our infrared data, this will give us more information on the particle sizes in the Phoebe ring than we have today," he said.
China aims to send craft to Mars in 200 days with electric thrusters
China aims to send craft to Mars in 200 days with electric thrusters

China is looking to develop an "interstellar" weapon based on electric thruster technology to send a spacecraft to Mars in just 200 days, according to a report from the official Xinhua news agency.
Electric propulsion is still regarded as relatively weak but is still strong enough to propel humans into space at significantly lower costs than traditional propulsion systems, which is why the technology is regarded by the international aerospace community as the way of the future.
China has developed this technology by itself as other parties such as the United States, Russia, the European Union and Japan are all keeping their research confidential. The development has reached a stage where China believes it will be able to send its first electric propulsion satellite into orbit by around 2020.
First, China will launch a hybrid propulsion communication satellite at the end of 2016 and will also use electric propulsion in China's space station in the future, according to Wang Min, a satellite designer at the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST).
Electric thrusters use only a tenth of the amount of propellant required by traditional chemical propulsion systems, which means the amount of propellant needed for a typical communication satellite could be slashed from 3 tonnes of fuel to just 300 kg, Wang said.
"The benefit is obvious. The weight of the satellite can be greatly decreased, so a rocket can send two satellites into orbit at the same time; or we can launch a cheap, small rocket to carry the satellite, which will greatly save on launch costs. We can also put more equipment on the satellite to improve its functions," Wang said, adding that it would also extend the life of a communications satellite by five years.
Electric propulsion technology will play an important role especially in manned deep space exploration, Wang said.
The downside of electric propulsion is that it cannot be used on carrier rockets and spacecraft that need to quickly enter orbit due to its low thrust, though as long as it continues "blowing" it would be able to accelerate over time. Experts believe that, given the significant weight reduction offered by electric propulsion, an array of 40 electric thrusters of 50 kilowatts would be able to send a 300-ton spacecraft to Mars in just 200 days.
China has so far tested two experimental electric thrusters on the Shijian-9 satellite launched in 2012 and expects to be able to upgrade the power of electric thrusters from the current five kilowatts to 50 kilowatts by 2020.
