California Lights

Mission Viejo — On Wednesday, June 18, 2014, I was alerted by a fellow employee of unusual stationary lights in the sky or orbs. They shine brightly, then dim, disappear, and reappear, sometimes in the same location.

We observed a total of 5 lights during the encounter. My fellow employee has worked here for 10 years, and I have been there for 5 years. We have never seen similar lights. Thanks to MUFON CMS

San Jose –I saw a deformed rainbow in a Chemtrail and took a snapshot from a my car on June 19, 2015. Later I looked at the photo and noticed an object along with two birds. I have had other experiences in the past with a possible abduction and implant and captured a disc on the camera. I would like to share the photo with MUFON and see if it’s a UFO. Colorado Alien

I was going through my Phone’s Camera Gallery after work and noticed a 17 second video that I had must recorded accidentally. I keep my phone in my back pocket when I’m at work. I checked it out to see what I recorded. The video recorder button had gotten pushed and was recording a small light figure behind me. I paused and re-watched the video about 20 more times. Florida Square UFO

Manalapan — UFOs over the ocean are actually more common than most people know. Even Christopher Columbus recorded in his journals that on October 11, 1492, when he saw a light glimmering at a great distance.

He hurriedly summoned Pedro Gutierrez, a gentleman who also saw the light. After a short time it vanished, only to reappear several times during the night, each time dancing up and down in sudden and passing gleams. The light, first seen four hours before land was sighted, was never explained.” Most alien bases are below water, and since 75% of the earth is covered by water that means 75% of the UFOs are over the water. At 5:20 PM, on May 31, 2015, while on the balcony I observed what I thought was a bright star out over water in south Palm Beach. When I viewed it through my camera’s viewfinder using a 300 mm I saw that it was rectangular in shape, very bright and stationary. I took pictures for 40 minutes after which it slowly moved further away. A ship on the horizon appears to have cleaner edges then the UFO. In another picture you can see a drone being flown by someone I assume on the beach. UFOstalker

 Illinois Lights

Edinburgh — When I do watch them. I keep thinking please land in the field, why are you following me? I’ll try flashing different color lights at them tonight. Last evening when my husband and I were coming home from Taylorville Illinois 10 miles from home it was so dark because of storms moving in, lightning and thundering, the one was following me and was with me all the way home. I hope they do communicate with me. They’ve been following me for so long I wish they would do something besides hover in the sky. If you don’t hear from after tonight you know they took me. Indiana Light

Lagrange — On June 23, 2015, at 11:45 PM, I went outside to see if I could see the Aurora Borealis, as it was supposed to be visible. I did not see the Northern Lights but looking west I observed a bright pulsating star that the camera picked up. A few days later I enlarged it, and was amazed to see 7 orbs around a central sphere. Missouri Lights

Eureka — There was a bad storm in the St Louis area on June 28, 2015, and watched the low clouds and I took pictures. I left around 9:45 pm, and saw bright lights. I said to my brother, “What is that, a helicopter?” I drove up to the stop sign and got a good view of the bright lights. They were stationary; one was a longer and very bright one and a smaller one to the right. I took a couple of pictures because I had no idea what they were. The larger object had several square windows. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Montana Lights

UFOs Northwest has received a high percentage of reports that are due to the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus. When people see aerial objects on clear nights for long periods of time they are most likely viewing bright planets.

New Jersey 1928 Aliens

Bellemead — This story is from my Mom as a child, who lived on a farm when about August 10, 1928, she didn’t even know what a ufo was. Her brothers and sisters were getting ready for bed when it seemed like day time outside.

She said, “The farm animals were crying and running all over with a big flood light shinning down on them that was so bright she could see the hay in the field.”

Her father a Polish immigrant yelled, “Get in the house, not to worry it was an angel that had come to bless their farm. Out of the corner of her eye she could see her dad take his shotgun and sit on the porch.” Mom said, “They held there rosaries and said prayers out loud.”

Other farmers had the same thing happen to them. As I grew up I noticed strange abilities my Mom had like foreseeing things before they happened. She would stare out the window of our house as if she was receiving information. She also had the ability to stop or start machinery. I asked, how could you do these things; her answer was, “God gave her the powers.” Remember at that time we had no electricity at all. Thanks to MUFON

Glendora — My brother thinks that on February 13, 2015, he brought an alien life form home with him from a friend’s house. The aliens can make themselves invisible, but they have let him see them. They are not allowed to talk to him so they communicate by touch. For instance, one touch is for ‘yes’ and two for ‘no’ when he asks questions. At first he says there were over 50, but now there is only one female that has claimed him. She says that, “The males of her race no longer have genitalia so they are here to be impregnated in hopes to have male children to reproduce. It takes them three days to get here from there. I think its name was Mistake and it’s the 3rd star in Orion’s belt. They use Dark matter engines and can reach speeds thousands of times the speed of light. They have been here for many years. There species along with 4 other alien races that she knows of helped to create the pyramids and other things on earth. So far this is all I know”.

He has said that, “She was O.k. with me meeting her, but to tell you the truth, I’m scared.” I am sort of a skeptic about this, but from everything he has told me I think I believe him. He has never been a person to make up stories. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New York Lights

New York City — I was up on my roof having a smoke and looked at our city’s skyline on June 20, 2015. I live in mid town west so Times Square is near when I noticed 7 objects fluttering falling like birds.

I realized they had lights on them and would change direction and angles. I thought maybe they were drones and shot this with my IPhone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

North Carolina Object

Hempstead — There was a storm moving in and the clouds looked like a tornado on June 24, 2015.

We took 8 pictures all within seconds of each other and in one frame there is clearly a visible object. There was no sound, not even wind. It was very calm.

Ohio Lights

New Concord — I was driving home east on Route 40 when I saw what I thought was a plane moving on November 20, 2014. Then I passed under the orange/red ball of light. I got about 400 yards away and pulled off the road and watched. They would vanish into the clouds and then show up above the tree line to the north of Route 40. Following the same flight path as the first they moved southwest. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Texas Craft

This is a report of a “black triangle” observed in the late fall of 1976 with 7 X 50 Nikon binoculars. Two observer’s ages: 28 and 30 years of age at the time, who are 67 and 69 now. The craft was as close as 100 to 125 feet. My wife is a middle school teacher, and I’m an Electrical Designer and draftsman.

We noticed the craft when it directly overflew us at an altitude of 100-125 feet, moving generally north at less than 10 miles per hour. There was a slight sound, like exhaling gently through pursed lips. We immediately jumped in the 4WD pickup, and began to follow the craft across the Brownwood Peninsula subdivision. The craft crossed the shoreline at the south end of Burnet Bay and flew 75 yards offshore and stopped. The craft remained stationary for about ten minutes, slightly bobbling. We had no camera.

We raced north on Thompson Road to get ahead of the craft and saw the craft coming, and stopped directly in its path. The craft overflew us at 100 feet. It was not yet dark, but I turned on my truck spotlight onto the bottom of the craft and we observed center-line bay doors on the bottom of the craft. We observed the craft cross the south shoreline of the Highlands Reservoir, and flew out of sight. We had chased it for 45 minutes.

The craft’s pinkish-orange dim marker lights were one at each corner of the triangular shape, about as bright as 25 watt bulbs. It was an isosceles triangle, about 40 feet wide and 80 feet long. The rear was 40 feet wide and 10 feet high at the middle. This shape tapered to a point at the front end. All edges appeared to be sharp. There was no discernible cockpit with possibly grilled openings at the rear of the craft. We observed no markings, windows, camera ports, antennas, or external attachment points. The craft was flat black, like the SR-71. We saw a US Military stealth intruder craft being tested. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Entity

Vancouver — I was in bed asleep when I heard slightly different noises than my cat, and birds in my room. I raised my head and opened my eyes to see the first entity on June 7, 2015. He was about 4 to 4.5 feet very dark gray with almost a shimmer to his skin. His face was very fat with very large eyes and a beautiful swirling affect to them. He looked at me and said nothing. Next to him was another entity that acknowledged me as well. He was looking at me, and we seemed to be talking, telepathically. He assured me that I was safe, and they were there to do no harm. (I have been really sick for a long time with chronic infection, and in and out of the hospital). He tilted his head and looked at me as he, “understood I did not feel well and sympathetic. I will never forget his face, and how kind I felt he was and confirming my safety watching over me.

I told them all, “I was going back to sleep then.” The closest one looked at me as if to “approve “and I went back to sleep. When I woke, I was afraid to tell my family, I never have had dreams like this, it was so clear, and vivid, and every detail. When I awoke, I found a “silver dollar size ring on my stomach.” I am profoundly affected by this as I do not believe in alien abduction! I have seen many crafts all my life. I never believed that aliens would bother with humans! Thanks to MUFON CMS

Yelm — These ships were sighted city bound and flying southwest and fading upward on June 24, 2015. They were glowing burnt orange, multiple ships close to each other. I took a picture just before they faded. There was a ship that was not in the picture as it was just flying after the others. A few started fading away.

I was watching the space station live cam on June 26, 2015, when I caught an interesting UFO above the clouds. It was glowing and had two wings and a wider front, similar to the shape of its wings. It can be seen better at the end of the video, when I put it into negative format. The object is clearly a solid craft. Thanks to Scott C. Waring

Australia Alien

Brisbane — At 1:30 AM, on Sunday morning, I received a phone call from two friends who were wondering if I was still up on September 16, 2008, and if I’d like to meet them in the park. I met them in a park about a three minute walk away. We were sitting at a picnic table when we noticed a tall human-like figure walking around the perimeter of the park.

This “person”, although clearly walking rather than running, was somehow covering the distance in about one minute. It passed by three times and we noticed it easily 7 feet tall. We decided to ambush it as it made its next circuit and when it was about thirty metres away we came out of the shadows it somehow passed us, and was twenty metres away. We sprinted after it, up a slight hill and beneath a streetlight it turned, and looked at me. It was very tall and thin wearing a black suit, had no hair, with white skin. The details of its face were blurred, as we kept running as fast as we could. We could not catch it as it continued walking and rounded a corner and was gone. We felt something very strange was happening; my friends. Perhaps it was a man in Black.

It covered an impossible distance in an impossible space of time. Even if it had been running, there’s just no way a person could move that fast.. No craft was seen. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Blue Knob, NSW — I live in the bush behind Nimbin and was admiring the full moon on June 30, 2015, when suddenly a flying fireball came into sight. My first thought was it was a plane on fire, but it steadily made its way silently across the sky with no smoke or distress. Then another followed and then another. They were three yellow and orange fireball flying objects. Google ufo fireball sightings are being reported worldwide. Thanks to UFOINFO Joline

Canada UFO

Strathroy — My husband was taking pictures of his land on June 15, 2015. When we printed the pictures we saw the object, but had not seen or heard it. He thought it was a tower.

Upon closer observation of the picture and blowing it up, we noticed the shape and that it is not in the pictures before or after.

 Mexico Object

Teotihuacan — On a trip to Mexico, I took a photo of the Pyramid of the Sun on May 4, 2015. Later, when I was reviewing my photo, I saw two objects above the pyramid. I didn’t see or hear them at the time. My friend took an almost identical photo 10 seconds after I did and nothing is in her photo. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Peru Orb

This orb fleet was seen by a sky watcher on June 22, 2015, as they flew in a line of UFOs. One after another they passed by with two lights on them. I do not believe the two lights are two separate UFOs, but rather just one single UFO. There is only sky behind it.

South Africa Jellyfish?

Alberton Stadium — 26°16’40.22”S 28°08’01.45″E — This UFO looks a lot like a jellyfish type of craft on June 3, 2015. The object has a hanging area that gets thinner as it reaches down, much like tentacles do. The object was discovered by YouTube user DanielofDoria02 who added contrast so we could see the UFOs color and shape. Thanks to SCW

Tanzania Disc

Dar es Salaam — I was on a safari tour of Tanzania and we camped by the Indian Ocean and I was talking with a Dutch member of our group about ten at night when we saw a disk shaped craft in the sky on May 28, 2001. It was a glowing orangish-red color and traveling away from the earth. We observed for ten seconds when it vanished. Thanks to MUFON CMS

UK/England Lights

Worthing — Clip164: I was outside shining my laser pen into the sky, and in the south a massive UFO brightened it’s lights on June 30, 2015. It turned its lights on brighter than the stars around it using my Panasonic W-850 with Infrared. I could see the surface of the UFO and it was a dull grey color. I also filmed intelligent white flying orbs, which would change their direction and stop in mid air! Another Clip had two UFOs lighten the movie. I spotted a UFO that was much brighter than the stars around it. My neighbors saw it too then abruptly went indoors. Thanks to MUFON CMS

7 'alien sightings' for World UFO Day

Are we alone? Not according to those who celebrate World UFO Day.

Each year on July 2 extraterrestrial enthusiasts around the globe celebrate unidentified flying objects and the possibility of life outside planet Earth.

USA TODAY Network looks back at some of the most buzzed-about sightings of unidentified flying objects.

1. Nuremberg, Germany, in April 1561

Witnesses described seeing "globes," "crosses" and "plates" battling it out in the sky. Drawings and woodcuttings from the time depict the unusual sighting.

2. Aurora, Texas, in April 1897

Local lore has it that a cigar-shaped object allegedly hit a windmill, causing it to crash. An alien body was discovered in the wreckage and buried in an unmarked grave, according to legend. The Texas Historical Commission erected a sign that mentions the "legend that a spaceship crashed nearby in 1897 and the pilot, killed in the crash, was buried here."

3. Roswell, N.M., in July 1947

Roswell has become synonymous with UFOs. A rancher discovered debris from a crashed airborne object. Some people said they thought the debris came from a spacecraft and even saw alien bodies.

The Air Force said in a 1994 report that the material came from experimental surveillance balloons and any bodies were dummies in the balloons. But many remain convinced the government covered up an extraterrestrial visit.

4. Washington, D.C., in July 1952

A series of sightings were reported over the nation's capital. Washington National Airport and Andrew Air Force Base detected the objects on their radar, according to The Washington Post.

In 1952, the Air Force launched Project Blue Book to collect and analyze potential threats in the air. Air Force Maj. Gen. John Samford held a press conference at the end of July 1952 to address unidentified sightings, opening with, "I am here to discuss the so-called flying saucers."

The incident has since been attributed to temperature inversion.

"The warm air can create a ceiling that causes radar beams to bounce down. Objects on the ground — moving cars, a row of telephone poles — can appear to be thousands of feet in the air," the Post reported in 2012.

5. Chicago, Ill., in November 2006

An object was spotted hovering over Gate C-17 at O'Hare International Airport. Some witnesses told the Chicago Tribune they were upset that neither the government nor United Airlines, which operates the C terminal, was going to investigate the sighting.

6. Stephenville, Texas, in January 2008

Dozens of people said they saw a large, low-flying object with bright lights. Two nearby Air Force bases said that none of their aircraft were in the area.

7. Jerusalem in January 2011

Witnesses and at least three cameras reportedly spotted a bright light hover above the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem before suddenly shooting upward. The sighting was likely a hoax, said an Israeli TV station.

World UFO Day: ‘I was abducted by aliens – and they put a machine in my body’

Steve Munday’s ‘alien implant’

Steve Munday is married, and manages a shop in Rugby – but 40 years ago, he had a bizarre experience.

He claims he still has the alien implant in his arm as a memento of the day he was abducted while riding a bike to his friend’s house in Northampton in 1974.

Steve says: ‘The journey should have taken me 15 minutes, 20 minutes at the most. Yet, I seemed to blank out sometime during this trip.

‘All I can remember is one minute I was riding along in bright sunshine, then I found myself a mile further down the road wrestling with a wobbling bike, going downhill.

‘Time had obviously moved on, as it was now dark. When I got to my friend’s home it was 2 hours after I first set off, so I ‘lost’ about 1 hour and 45 minutes of time.

‘A few days later I found a small object underneath my skin. There was no sign of a scar or entry point, just a red mark. It’s about 1 centimetre long by 3 or 4 millimetres wide and seems to be independent of my body.

‘When it’s active it upsets the scanners at supermarket check­outs. It will make the till ring ­up the wrong prices. It also affects other electrical gadgets if I go close to them.

‘I don’t know what the object does. If it is genuinely alien, then perhaps they have tagged me so that they can monitor where I am and where I’m going.

‘It might even be used as a means of contacting me when they need to.

‘When I show it to people they can get very squeamish, although my brother says he would like to cut it out to get a really good look at it. I would also like to have it examined but I don’t want it to be removed. We all live rather boring lives so this object separates me from other people, and makes me feel special.

‘My two brothers have also had UFO contacts and paranormal experiences throughout their lives. We all share a rare blood type, so I wonder if through our DNA and genetics we are specially chosen by these forces.’

‘To this day I am intrigued by what did go on during my missing 1 hour and 45 minutes that evening in 1974.’

What to Expect From Aliens When We Make First Contact

Given the vastness of space, it may only be a matter of time before we make contact with intelligent extraterrestrials. But how might an alien civilization react to such a monumental meet-and-greet, and can we possibly know their intentions? Here’s what we might expect.

Alien civilizations will most assuredly be like snowflakes: no two will be the same. Each will differ according to an array of factors, including their mode of existence, age, history, developmental stage, and level of technological development. That said, advanced civilizations may have a lot in common as they adapt to similar challenges; we all share the same Universe, after all.

We’ve obviously never interacted with an alien civilization, so we have virtually no data to go by. Predicting alien intentions is thus a very precarious prospect — but we do have ourselves to consider as a potential model, both in terms of our current situation and where we might be headed as a species in the future. With this in mind, I analyzed three different scenarios in my effort to predict how extraterrestrial intelligences (ETIs) might react to meeting us/

1. Contact with a biological species much like our own
2. Contact with a post-biological species more advanced than ours
3. Contact with a superintelligent machine-based alien intelligence

Clearly, there may be other alien typologies out there, but there’s no sense trying to predict what they might be like, especially in terms of their intentions.

Cut from the Same Cosmological Cloth

There’s virtually no way that an alien species will appear and behave exactly like us, but that doesn’t mean we won’t share certain similarities; in reality, we may be more alike than not — especially if we’re both still at the biological stage of our development.

As evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins pointed out in Climbing Mount Improbable, there’s no long term planning involved in evolution, but species do move towards fitness peaks, i.e. they tend to get better at specialized tasks over time (a classic example is the spider web, which is considered an optimal “design” in nature). What’s more, some species separated by time and space have been known to evolve startlingly similar traits, a phenomenon biologists refer to as convergent evolution. It’s not unreasonable to surmise, therefore, that an alien species with human-like intelligence — and the physical attributes to exert that intelligence on its environment — will share certain things in common with humans, including technologies and inherited behaviors.

In his new book, The Runes of Evolution, evolutionary biologist Conway Morris argues that, while the number of possibilities in evolution is astronomical, the number that actually work is an infinitesimally smaller fraction.

“Convergence is one of the best arguments for Darwinian adaptation, but its sheer ubiquity has not been appreciated,” he noted in a recent University of Cambridge article. “Often, research into convergence is accompanied by exclamations of surprise, describing it as uncanny, remarkable and astonishing. In fact it is everywhere, and that is a remarkable indication that evolution is far from a random process. And if the outcomes of evolution are at least broadly predictable, then what applies on Earth will apply across the Milky Way, and beyond.”

Morris contends that biological aliens will likely resemble humans, including features like limbs, heads, bodies — and intelligence. And if our levels of intelligence are comparable, then our psychologies and emotional responses may be similar as well.

Inherited Behaviors

So which inherited behaviors might we share in common?

As a species descended from primates, we are highly social creatures with definite hierarchical tendencies. As Jared Diamond pointed out in Guns, Germs and Steel: The Fate of Human Societies, we’re also risk takers. Indeed, humans are distinct among primates in that we exhibit migratory proclivities; our ancestors frequently abandoned their “natural” environments in search of better ones, or when following migratory creatures like large game. This risk-taking behavior, along with our insatiable curiosity, language skills, and unparalleled conceptual abilities, has allowed us to innovate and organize over the millennia.

But is it fair to project our primate-like attributes onto aliens? Yes and no. Biological aliens are not likely to be primates, but some might be very primate-like. For terrestrial species, the mode of evolution from a Darwinian to a post-Darwinian phase may follow similar patterns. And from a social constructionist perspective, humans and aliens may also share similarities in the socio-political realm.

That said, if alien species evolved from different biological precursors, like animals similar to fish, insects, dinosaurs, birds, or something we don’t observe here on Earth, their behaviors will likely be markedly different, and thus very difficult — but not necessarily impossible — to predict. But it’s fair to say that an overly belligerent, anti-social species, no matter how intelligent or physically adept, is not likely to advance to a post-industrial, face-fairing stage.

If aliens are biologically and socially like us, therefore, they may share many of our desires and proclivities, including our interest in science, and in meeting and interacting with extraterrestrial life. At the same time, however, they may also share our survival instinct and experience trepidation at meeting “the other,” leading to the prioritization of the in-group.

Should we make first contact with an extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI), we’ll have to make sure that we come across as friendly. Hopefully they’ll do the same. But even if we’re happy to meet each other, a major challenge will be in assessing the risks of cultural and technological exchange; just because we get along doesn’t mean that something unintentionally bad could happen. As a historical example, the introduction of Eurasian diseases to the Americas during the colonization era is a potent reminder of what can happen when disparate and formerly isolated civilizations meet.

As Stephen Hawking has said, “If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans. We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.”

An ideal encounter (Star Trek: First Contact)

The late Carl Sagan had a different take, arguing that it’s inappropriate to make historical analogies when discussing alien intentions. A contact optimist, he said it was unlikely that we’d face “colonial barbarity” from advanced ETIs. According to Sagan, alien civilizations that lived long enough to colonize a good portion of the galaxy would be the least likely to engage in aggressive imperialism. He also thought that any “quarrelsome” extraterrestrials would be quashed by a more powerful species. What’s more, he didn’t think that technologically advanced ETIs would have anything to fear from us, so we needn’t fear them.

Close Encounters of the Machine Kind

The hunt for radio signals and laser messages may lead us to discover an alien species much like our own. But if an alien spaceship suddenly appeared at our door, it’s highly unlikely that something biological would come out. More likely, some sort of machine would be there to greet us.

As NASA’s Chief Historian Steven J. Dick has pointed out, the dominant form of life in the cosmos is probably post-biological. Advanced alien civilizations, either through their own trans-biological evolution or through the rise of their artificially intelligent progeny, are more likely to be machine-based than meat-based. We ourselves may be heading in this direction, as witnessed by current and pending advances in genetics, cybernetics, molecular nanotechnology, cognitive science, and information technology.

As Dick noted in his paper, “The Postbiological Universe”:

• Because of the limits of biology and flesh-and-blood brains...cultural evolution will eventually result in methods for improving intelligence beyond those biological limits. If the strong Artificial Intelligence concept is correct, that is, if it is possible to construct AI with more intelligence than biologicals, postbiological intelligence may take the form of AI. It has been argued that humans themselves may become postbiological in this sense within a few generations.

This line of argumentation led Dick to posit the Intelligence Principle:

• The maintenance, improvement and perpetuation of knowledge and intelligence is the central driving force of cultural evolution, and to the extent intelligence can be improved, it will be improved.

Sounds like a cool mission statement — one common to all civilizations as they evolve and adapt to changing conditions over time. Given similar fitness landscapes — like trying to develop a stable and optimal Type II Kardashev Civilization or living in tandem with artificial superintelligence — ETIs may evolve towards a common mode of existence. However, extreme adaptationist pressures, including and especially the mitigation of existential risks, may constrain post-biological life in very narrow ways. Should this be the case, we may eventually be able to predict the nature of this modality. Such an exercise would serve the dual purpose of modeling our future selves and the potential characteristics and tendencies of extraterrestrial civilizations.

Needless to say, post-biological aliens, like cyborgs or civilizations comprised of uploaded minds, would have a different set of priorities than what we’re accustomed to. These ETIs may be content to build their Dyson Spheres and live virtual lives fueled by massive Matrioshka Brains. If this is the case, they may have no desire to make contact with biological beings like ourselves. It’s difficult to know if they’d be willing to make contact with civilizations similar to their own, though it’s likely they’d want to keep to themselves. A kind of intergalactic xenophobia may explain the Great Silence and the Fermi Paradox; the dearth of colonizing waves of ETIs seems to suggest that everyone prefers to stay at home, away from prying eyes.

At the same time, if machine intelligences do rule the cosmos (either locally or across the vastness of space), then we may run into what’s known as the incommensurability problem. For the time being, the differences between human minds and machine minds is so great that communication is impossible. Simply put, predicting the intentions and behaviors of post-biological intelligence is practically impossible.

Beware the Alien Skynet

As noted by Dick, the cosmos may be peppered with artificial superintelligence (ASI) — machines that either succeeded or supplanted their biological forebears.

Predicting the behaviors and intentions of ASIs is a conundrum currently faced by AI theorists who worry about the prospect of machine minds run amok. But it’s also something that astrobiologists and SETI scientists should be concerned about.

What might a machine-based alien superintelligence do with itself? Frighteningly, it may adopt a set of “instrumental goals” to ensure its ongoing existence. If this is the case, we may want to steer clear of them (and by ‘steer clear’ I mean keep a low cosmic profile). Oxford University philosopher Nick Bostrom explains what’s meant by instrumental goals:

• Several instrumental values can be identified which are convergent in the sense that their attainment would increase the chances of the agent’s goal being realized for a wide range of final goals and a wide range of situations, implying that these instrumental values are likely to be pursued by a broad spectrum of situated intelligent agents.

In other words, while an alien artificial superintelligence may have a set of primary goals, they will, in the words of Bostrom, “pursue similar intermediary goals because they have instrumental reasons to do so.” He calls this the Instrumental Convergence Thesis.

Physicist and AI theorist Steve Omohundro has taken a stab at trying to predict what these sub-goals might be. His list of drives include self-preservation, self-protection, utility function or goal-content integrity (i.e. ensuring that it doesn’t deviate from its predetermined goals or values), self-improvement, and resource acquisition. Consequently, advanced machine-based alien intelligences may be extraordinarily dangerous to outsiders.

On the bright side, however, a super-powerful machine intelligence may have adopted a primary goal, or utility function, that requires it to remove as much suffering from the Galaxy as possible. Or to create as many meaningful individual experiences as possible, i.e. by converting all useable matter into computronium. Think of it as the pan-Galactic application of the utilitarian ethic. If that’s the case, we should certainly hope to meet them some day. Assuming, of course, that we don’t get destroyed in the process.

UFO files will be released by Germany

BERLIN Germany – The Administrative Court of Berlin had ordered the German
parliament to release all its UFO files.

The “Deutsche Bundestag” was ordered to give access to secret official reports compiled by the “Scientific Research Service of the German parliament” on demand of delegates on the question on the government’s knowledge and studies about UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

The German parliament has already appealed the decision – and is trying to block all attempts at releasing the UFO files. But the Berlin court is confident that the files will be released.

“The right of access to official information under the German freedom of information act also applies to studies and reports of the ‘Scientific Research Service of the Bundestag’, the Berlin Administrative Court explained in its decision announcement on December 1st, 2011.

Until the court hearing the Bundestag denied access to the paper by referring to the claim that the work and results of the “Scientific Research Service of the Bundestag” are part of the work of the parliament and the mandatory work of the delegates and therefore should be excluded from demands referring to the freedom of information act.


In it’s press release the Administrative Court explained further, that the judges did not agree with this claim of the parliament and therefore did not followed the complaint upheld by the Bundestag and instead ordered that it must give the claimant insight into the secret report.

Observers speculate that the persistence with which the Bundestag denied and still tries to deny the insight into the UFO-paper, or even it’s publication, is not so much about the treated subject (in this case UFOs and extraterrestrial life), but in general
about questions of dealing with reports and papers by the “Scientific Research Service of the German Bundestag” in the future and in the face of the freedom of
information act in general.

Beside stating, that because so many other NATO members, partners and neighboring countries – such as France, the USA, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Italy (.to name only a few) – did investigate UFOs, it is “more than likely that also official German authorities and Departments dealt with this questions (about the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrial life)”, the report does not reveal any secrets about UFOs and alien life, nor a secret knowledge about it by the German government.

Mind Boggling UFO “Cube” – Multiple View Witnesses And Photos

On June 29th, 2015, a UFO “cube” was seen emerging out of the clouds by multiple people in Texas.

The video of the photo compilation was released by YouTube user secureteam10.

Walter C. Lance of El Paso, Texas was the first person to submit the photographs to secureteam10. Lance stated he took the photographs on June 29th, 2015 around 1PM central time during his lunch break.

According to secureteam10, Lance stated that it began to get very windy outside when a portion of the clouds began to “swirl and circle in on one another forming this portal shape”. The area within this circular vortex turned “jet black” which is when Lance took out his cellphone to take the following pictures:

The first thing that comes to mind is the cube shape and how the cube is tied to Saturn, which in astrotheology is “Satan” which I go into a lot more detail in the article, “Saturn – Why Are We Worshiping The Cult Of EL?“.

The following is an excerpt from that article:

A second eye witness also saw this cube shaped UFO about a mile away from the first eye witness as she was returning back to work from her lunch break.  She noticed a “square shaped figure moving through the clouds and thought it was a balloon but after watching it, she realized the enormity of its size with designs around it and a “faint, magnetic oscillation-type humming” that seemed to emulate from the craft.

Cubes and Spheres?

In recent news, contactee Corey Goode speaks of the Blue Avians, who are benevolent extraterrestrials that are watching over our planet in blue spheres, which is in sharp contrast to the cube shape:

Are benevolent beings here watching over us and helping us to a new level of spiritual evolution?  Goode has a Facebook page called Sphere Being Alliance, where you can follow his latest news.

At the highest level of Freemasonry, the motto is “Ordo ab chao” which means “Order out of chaos”. It’s apparent that we are being set up for the “end times” to which we are living in right now and this is all based on chaos because when we live in fear, we can be easily manipulated.

Is it possible that we’re being set up for a false flag alien invasion via a Project Bluebeam type scenario?

Are malevolent, archontic-type beings here siphoning our energy through fear?

It’s quite obvious that an official UFO disclosure is imminent but one thing we can be assured is that it will be skewed towards the viewpoints of the church and military industrial complex. Unless benevolent ET’s can broadcast their message on every channel, in every language, and in every country, you can be assured that the mainstream media will twist any official disclosure to benefit those in power who have kept us in subservience, control, and conformity for thousands of years.

As for the cube shaped UFO, it is unclear whether this is a real UFO or possibly a PSYOPS hologram created by those in power as a test to see how we would react to this anomaly.

What my gut is telling me is

If this is a real, cube-shaped UFO, then it probably is not here in humanity’s best interests based on my research of the cube and its ties to Saturn/Cronus/Satan.

Most likely, it’s some elaborate hoax, a marketing ploy, a hologram, or a PSYOP designed to classically condition our minds in preparation for an “official” UFO disclosure.

Professor: “Aliens bestaan en zien eruit als mensen”

Captured Black ‘Flying Saucer’ Hovering Over Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a legendary place to visit in the UK. In fact, it is amongst the best-known attractions around the world. It attracts large numbers of tourists, and each tourist is being drawn to the remarkable layout of the structure and wants to find out more about its history. Aside from the Stonehenge tours, you will not only gain satisfaction, but also makes your travel safe and sound. Unfortunately, Stonehenge is not an exception when it comes to a hotspot for sightings.

The picture captured by a space enthusiast seems to show an unusual object hovering above the stones in Wiltshire days before Summer Solstice. The image was already posted and shared on the UFO Sightings blog along with details about the craft. As David Jacobson claims that the strange flying object was black in color. He estimated the stone to be 20 to 30 feet across. The stone is a common spot for alien or extraterrestrial appearances called “discoid shape,” declassified by the government featuring weird places in the year 2007 and 2009.

There are different theories on Stonehenge. While some people say that it is a place of sun worship or a structure to tell time, others would think that it is a landing site for extraterrestrial life. Some people believe that the incident is related to Mecca for Druids. Nigel Watson is a British UFO investigator and author. As he reviewed the image, he declared Stonehenge as a “magnet” for unexplained activity related to its location on ley lines. These lines are a hypothetical alignment of several places with historical, geographical and paranormal interest.

Despite the fact that there are some fairly convincing ideas out there nobody can be 100% precise regarding why and how the black flying saucer came. Perhaps we will never actually know how or why from such a distance, still, Stonehenge continues to be an incredible spot to experience and possibly someday it will give up its hidden secrets.

Asteroid Day 2015: NASA Is Busy Tracking 'Doomsday' Scenarios, Hoaxes And Near-Earth Objects

        

              Are there any actual "doomsday" asteroids we should be worried about on Asteroid Day 2015?

It's Asteroid Day 2015, and experts and space agencies around the world want to raise awareness of potentially hazardous objects. NASA has a Near-Earth Object (NEO) Program which tracks asteroids and comets using its Sentry collision monitoring system. With all the chatter about "doomsday" asteroids that could end life as we know it, what are the real odds of such an event?

The easy answer is slim-to-none. There were reports floating around that an asteroid that would hit Earth in September, but said asteroid doesn't exist and NASA has repeatedly debunked those claims. NASA and the European Space Agency have NEO tracking programs that are capable of detecting any threat. Additionally, NASA launched its Grand Asteroid Challenge to discover any possible threats, and there are even private organizations, such as the B612 Foundation, that are hunting these objects.

There are many asteroids that come close to Earth with no impact threat. One asteroid will make a close approach to Earth on July 7 at the safe distance of 3 million miles. Another asteroid, however, will pass much closer that day -- asteroid 2015 HM10 -- at distance of 275,000 miles from Earth. That's just outside of lunar orbit, but you'll probably hear some scary news leading up to it.

If you think asteroids near Earth are uncommon, you'd be quite surprised to see NASA's list of close approaches. July will average just over 1 close approach per day -- with several days seeing two close approaches and July 7 seeing four. Many of these asteroids are millions of miles from Earth and are no threat to humanity.

For actual threats, NASA uses the Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale to assess asteroid risks in a way that the public can easily understand in order to avoid confusion. Based on a scale where anything below -2 means no consequences and -2 to 0 requires monitoring, few asteroids are considered a threat. "A Palermo Scale value of -2 indicates that the detected potential impact event is only 1% as likely as a random background event occurring in the intervening years. A value of zero indicates that the single event is just as threatening as the background hazard, and a value of +2 indicates an event that is 100 times more likely than a background impact," NASA explains.

  New observations from ESO and ESA have reduced the potential threat of asteroid 2009 FD.

There are only three asteroids at present that have a Palermo Scale value above -2. Asteroid 2009 FD has the highest cumulative value at -0.40, leaving a 99.74 percent chance that it will miss Earth in 2185. There are four other times that 2009 FD could be on a collision course with Earth. The year 2190 poses the second-highest impact risk, with a 99.973 percent chance it will miss Earth.

The approximately 490 meter (1,607 foot) 1099 Bennu is the second-largest risk, but its Palermo Scale value is -1.71, meaning there's a 1 in 2,700 chance that it could hit Earth.

In terms of really scary asteroids, there's 1950 DA which is approximately 1.3 kilometers (4,265 feet) in diameter. The threat from this large asteroid is minimal, with a -1.88 value on the Palermo Scale for a possible impact in 2880.

The absolute, honest truth about UFOs

The confirmed presence of extraterrestrials would give a much-needed boost to the presidency of Barack Obama, writes Scott Feschuk

Remember UFOs? Young people might not believe it—but there was a time when claiming to have been abducted by aliens was all the rage among hillbillies, crackpots and anyone desperately trying to explain away a suspicious bum injury.

It’s the granddaddy of conspiracy theories: that, for well over half a century, governments have covered up the “fact” that extraterrestrial beings have visited us aboard a wide range of spaceships, each blurrier than the last.

Some still want to believe. This month, the Disclosure Canada Tour visited four major cities to blow the lid off the “truth embargo on the extraterrestrial presence issue.” A sextet of nerdlingers charged 50 bucks a seat to discuss “Earth’s cosmic Watergate” before an audience of many presumed virgins.

The big draw among tour participants was Paul Hellyer. Now 91, Hellyer is a former minister of defence under Lester Pearson, the longest-serving member of the Privy Council and, more recently, a crazy person. He claims to have seen a UFO a few years ago near his cottage, noting, “It looked just like a star.” So far as anyone can remember, this marks the first time a UFO witness has made a claim—and provided the obvious explanation for what he really saw—in the same sentence.

(FYI, Hellyer also believes much of the world is secretly governed by an elite cabal. If he can just figure out how Lee Harvey Oswald faked the moon landing, the guy is a cinch to win Conspiracy Yahtzee.)

The movie-style trailer for the Disclosure Tour is worth a watch. Over some wicked guitar licks, the six “big-name” speakers at the event are introduced in freeze-frame—their surnames appearing dramatically on screen in block letters. The message? These guys are exactly like those bad-asses from The Expendables, but with more eczema and delusions.

The highlight comes halfway through. Two men are driving. We view them from the back seat—possibly for drama-based reasons; more likely because no one associated with this production can afford a GoPro. One guy speculates about other dimensions, then says: “The answer to those questions—just by the very fact we can ask these questions—is evidence that there must be some sort of answer out there about any number of those questions.” Congratulations, hero: In a single sentence, you managed to make less sense than the final two seasons of The X-Files.

Still, the tour represented a throwback to a time when conspiracy theorists were agreeably eccentric, unfamiliar with the sort of casual cruelty later displayed by 9/11 and Sandy Hook “truthers.” In a way, these UFO obsessives are even to be admired: They have devoted their life’s work to bravely ignoring every piece of evidence that their life’s work is really dumb.

To cite just two obvious points:

1. In the age of smartphones, the existence of flying saucers ought to be better documented by now than any other phenomenon, up to, and including, double rainbows and drunken skateboard fails. Let’s face it: If UFOs were real, Google would already be mapping their interiors. Click left to visit the probe-a-torium! And we’d all be watching reality shows in which Jillian Michaels humiliates our new reptile overlord into getting back in shape after binge-eating the bearded hermits of North Dakota.

2. Governments today would have zero interest in concealing the truth about aliens. In fact, the confirmed presence of extraterrestrials would give Barack Obama the biggest boost of his presidency. The opportunity to greet and/or explode alien species? History would surely give him a mulligan on his foreign-policy missteps if he were to ace interplanetary relations. Think about it: the first black President and the guy who ushered in an era of peace and partnership with the slug zombies of Zorgan 4? Good luck topping that, Hillary.

Here in Canada, meanwhile, it’s a safe bet that Stephen Harper would embrace the opportunity to greet an interstellar visitor—with a series of attack ads. Ragamon the Unquenchable purports to be a murderous, amorphous shape-shifter—but he’s just not up to the job of planetary genocide.

On the bright side, Harper could also be counted on to fast-track new legislation. Within weeks, Canadian parents would be entitled to a $500 tax credit for each child who spends more than two months of the year enslaved in an alien work camp.

As regular visitors to this page will know I had the privilege of making a lengthy research trip across the northern states of the US in September/October with leading catastrophist investigator Randall Carlson. The video linked here is the first of a series from our research trip that we will be releasing. I made the trip in order to learn from Randall and I am pleased that these videos will allow many others to learn and benefit from his extensive, hard-won knowledge as well. Randall is a brilliant teacher and as we travelled through the scablands and the coulees together, and stood above Wallula Gap — ‘the gathering of the waters’ featured here — he opened my eyes to the extent of the catastrophic flooding that afflicted North America at the end of the last Ice Age. The old model of multiple fillings and emptyings of Glacial Lake Missoula simply cannot account for the scale of the damage. The new evidence for a comet impact on the North American ice sheet, which I will be presenting in ‘Magicians of the Gods’, the sequel I am now writing to ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’, is the answer and opens a completely new window on the much wider mystery that has been the focus of my attentions for the last 25 years — the mystery of earth’s lost civilisation.

THE FINGERPRINT OF A GLOBAL CATACLYSM 12,800 YEARS AGO

The graphic shows the vast swathe of our planet that geologists call the Younger Dryas Boundary Field. Across this huge “fingerprint” spanning North America, Central America, parts of South America and most of Europe, the tell-tale traces of multiple impacts by the fragments of a giant comet have been found. Some of these fragments, were TWO KILOMETRES or more in diameter and they hit the earth like a blast from a cosmic scatter-gun around 12,800 years ago.

This was near the end of the last Ice Age, from which our world had been emerging into a pleasant warming phase, but the impacts set in train a kind of “nuclear winter” and plunged the planet back into a period of deep cold and darkness that lasted until around 11,500 years ago. It is this period of extreme cold that is referred to as the Younger Dryas (after a characteristic Alpine tundra wildflower, Dryas octopetala) but it is only now, with conclusive evidence of the comet impact, that we can be sure what caused it. For the past seven years academics have been involved in such an intense dispute about whether or not a comet impact actually occurred 12,800 years ago that the implications of what it might have meant for the story of civilization have not yet been considered at all. But every attempt to refute the impact evidence has in turn been refuted and the case for the Younger Dryas comet is now so compelling that it is time to widen the debate.

It is clear now that some of the largest fragments of the comet hit the North American ice cap, which was still a mile deep 12,800 years ago, and caused cataclysmic flooding (I had the opportunity to explore some of the extraordinary effects of this on the ground in September 2014 when I drove from Portland, Oregon, to Minneapolis, Minnesota, with catastrophist researcher Randall Carlson). Simultaneously other large fragments hit the northern European ice cap with the same cataclysmic effects.

The result was a global disaster that lasted for 1,300 years. It is, I believe, the “smoking gun” that made us a species with amnesia and wiped out almost all traces of a former high civilisation of prehistoric antiquity. But there were survivors, who preserved at least some of the knowledge of the civilization that had been destroyed with the intention of transmitting it to future generations, so it is not an accident that the first traces of the re-emergence of civilization, in the form of the earliest known megalithic architecture and the re-promulgation of agricultural skills, occur at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey 11,500 years ago — a date that coincides exactly with the end of the Younger Dryas and the return to a more congenial global environment.

 
Everything we have been taught about the origins of civilization occurs AFTER 11,500 years ago — in other words AFTER the radical punctuation mark of the Younger Dryas. It is what happened before that we desperately need to recover. These are amongst the mysteries that I am exploring in “Magicians of the Gods”, the book that I have been researching for the past three years and am now in the midst of writing.

Forget little green men – aliens will look like humans, says Cambridge University evolution expert

They are often portrayed on screen as little green men with elongated limbs and saucer-like eyes.

From E.T to the X-Files, aliens from outer space have captured our imagination for decades.

Yet a new book from a leading evolutionary biologist argues that if they exist and we ever encountered them, they would look very similar to us.

Professor Simon Conway Morris said extra-terrestrials that resemble human beings should have evolved on at least some of the many Earth-like planets that have been discovered by astronomers.

In his new book published on 2 July, The Runes of Evolution, the University of Cambridge academic builds on the principle of convergent evolution – that different species will independently evolve similar features, with the comparison of the camera eye of an octopus and a human eye a favourite example – and argues it will not just took place on Earth.

“An area of biology which is becoming popular, perhaps too popular, that the possibility evolution is becoming much more predictable than people thought,” he told The Independent. “The book is really trying to persuade the world that evolutionary convergence is completely ubiquitous. Wherever you look you see it.

“The theme is to try and drive the reader, gently of course, into the possibility that the things which we regard as most important, ie cognitive sophistication, large brains, intelligence, tool making, are also convergent. Therefore, in principle, other Earth-like planets should very much end up with the same sort of arrangement.”

Professor Conway Morris, a Fellow at St John’s College, said it follows that plant and animal life on other planets able to support life would also look similar to Earth’s.

He said: “Certainly it’s not the case that every Earth-like planet will have life let alone humanoids. But if you want a sophisticated plant it will look awfully like a flower. If you want a fly there’s only a few ways you can do that. If you want to swim, like a shark, there’s only a few ways you can do that. If you want to invent warm-bloodedness, like birds and mammals, there’s only a few ways to do that.

“The whole business of extra-terrestrial life, Kepler [the most Earth-like planet ever discovered], the search for extra solar planets, and of course the various missions to Mars. This is all going along at such a pace at the moment we can be reasonably sure [any current ideas] might be open to revision in a few years.”

His theory leads on to Enrico Fermi’s famous paradox – why, if aliens do exist, have they not made contact. He admits his book goes “off-piste for a bit of fun” in the last chapter when dealing with this problem.

Professor Conway Morris said: “Fermi’s paradox seems to be coming rather sharply into focus. If I’m on the right track then the likelihood of intelligence is evolving and actively engaging in some sort of transgalatic expeditions doesn’t seem to be completely beyond the realm of possibility.

“What Fermi didn’t know when he asked that famous question was that the number of Earth-like planets is absolutely gigantic now. More problematic is that many of these solar systems far, far pre-date our solar system. They would have, in principle, a major head start of hundreds of millions, if not billions, of years.

“The problem is exceedingly acute: we shouldn’t be alone but, famous last words, all the evidence suggests we are. Maybe [aliens] are hiding, the Arthur C Clarke idea, or as Stephen Baxter mischievously suggested we live in a virtual world. I don’t honestly know. My suspicion is we have only begun to scratch at the surface of reality, for want of a better word.”

Professor Conway Morris said one of the main themes of his new book was his desire to “re-energise people and get their sense of curiosity running again”. Convergence is demonstrable at every point of evolutionary history, he argues, from early cells, through to the emergence of tissues, nervous systems, limbs and the ability to make tools.

He said: “There is a growing interest in convergent evolution but I’m always willing to push it as far as I can. I’ll always say ‘show me anything which has only evolved once’ and I’ll try and jump up and say ‘no I can give you another example’.

“Convergence is ubiquitous and if you think complex things are difficult to make, well, with great respect, think again.”

Navy Engineer: I Saw UFOs, Aliens, And Top-Secret Bases In Antarctica!

On January 2nd, 2015 the editor of website earthfiles.com received a very unexpected letter from an alleged retired U.S.  Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer.

The letter received recounts experiences where the anonymous Navy officer (refers to himself as “Brian”) recounts his bizarre and extraordinary experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica between the years 1983 to 1997. He claims that a collaboration between humans and aliens exist, and that the Antarctica is a major research ground for these incredible collaborations.

Brian’s high strangeness experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica were in the 1983 to 1997 time period and included several observations of aerial silver discs darting around over the Transantarctic Mountains. He and his crew also saw a big hole in the ice only about five to ten miles from the geographic South Pole (pink circle on map) that was supposed to be a No Fly Zone. But during an emergency medevac situation, they entered the No Fly Zone and saw what they were not supposed to see: an alleged entrance to a human and E. T. science research base created under the ice. Then at a camp near Marie Byrd Land, some dozen scientists disappeared for two weeks and when they re-appeared, Brian’s flight crew got the assignment to pick them up. Brian says they would not talk and “their faces looked scared.”

In the strange letter sent to Earth Files the officer states that he experienced things such as:

• Silver discs darting around over the Transantarctic Mountains
• During an emergency they entered a No Fly Zone and saw an entrance to a human and E. T. science research base under the ice
• His crew picked up a dozen scientists who had disappeared for two weeks previous. They would not talk and their faces looked scared.

He has decided to share what he experienced between those years in the following letter, reproduced in full below:

Hi Linda

I am a retired United States Navy LC130 Flight Engineer that retired after 20 years of service in 1997. I have been wanting to write you for a long time about my experience on the Antarctic continent with flying vehicles that I was told not to talk about. I served part of my 20 years in the Navy with a Squadron called Antarctic Development Squadron Six or VXE-6 as it was also known. I served with this squadron from around 1983 till I retired March of 1997. Being a flight engineer and flying more then 4000 hours in that capacity I have seen things that most people have not even imagined on the Continent of Antarctica. The land there seems more alien then earthly. Our deployments to this land started in late September and ended the end of February every year until the Squadron was decommissioned in 1999. This time of year was the summer season when most of the science was done do to warmer temps and 24 hours of daylight.

During my time in the squadron I flew to almost every part of the Antarctic Continent including the South Pole more the 300 times. McMurdo Station which is 3.5 hours of flying time from the South Pole station was the point of squadron operation during our yearly deployments. Between these two stations is a mountain range called the Trans Antarctic’s. With what we called Severe Clear weather from McMurdo to South Pole the Trans Antarctic’s are visible from the altitudes which the aircraft flew approximately 25,000 to 35,000 feet. On several flights to and from South Pole our crew viewed air vehicles darting around the tops of Trans Antarctic’s almost exactly in the same spot every time we would fly by and view them. This is very unusual for air traffic down there due to the fact that the only aircraft flying on the continent were our squadron aircraft. Every aircraft knew where the other aircraft were do to flight schedules being followed.

Another unique issue with South Pole station is that our aircraft was not allowed to fly over a certain area designated 5 miles from the station. The reason stated because of a air sampling camp in that area. This did not make any sense to any of us on the crew because on 2 different occasions we had to fly over this area. One time due to a medical evacuation of the Australian camp called Davis Camp. It was on the opposite side of the continent and we had to refuel at South Pole and a direct course to this Davis Camp was right over the air sampling station. The only thing we saw going over this camp was a very large hole going into the ice. You could fly one of our LC130 into this thing.

It was after this medevac mission we where briefed by some spooks (Intelligence Agents I presumed) from Washington DC and told not to speak of the area we overflew. The other time we got close to “The air sampling Camp” we had navigation and electrical failures on the aircraft and was told to immediately depart the area and report to our squadron commanding officer when we returned to McMurdo. Needless to say our pilot (Aircraft Commander) got his butt chewed and our crew was not on the South Pole supply run for over a month. There were many other times we saw things that was out of the ordinary.

One outlying camp (near Marie Byrd Land) we dropped scientists and their equipment at was out of communication with McMurdo for 2 weeks. Our crew flew back to the camp to find out if the scientists were ok. We found no one there and no sign of any fowl play. The Radio was working fine as we called McMurdo to verify it working properly. We left the camp and flew back to McMurdo as ordered by our CO. A week later the Scientist showed back up to there camp and called McMurdo for someone to come pick them up. Our crew got the flight back there to pick them since we put them into that camp and we knew the terrain and location. None of the scientists would talk to any of the crew on the plane and to me they looked scared.

As soon as we landed back at McMurdo they (Scientists) where put on another of our squadron aircraft and flown to Christchurch New Zealand. We never heard about them again. Their equipment that we brought back from the camp was put in quarantine and shipped back to the United States escorted by the same spooks that debriefed us about our fly over of the air sample camp/ large hole in the ice. I could go on and on about things and situations that I observed during my tour with VXE-6. Talk among the flight crews was that there is a UFO base at South Pole and some of the crew heard talk from some of the scientist working at the Pole of EBEs working with and interacting with the scientists at that air sampling camp/large ice hole.

Brian, now 59 years old, graduated from an Iowa college with an associate’s degree in aviation maintenance technology and an aviation certificate. In 1977, he then enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served for twenty years until his retirement in 1997. He provided Earthfiles his DD-214 documents and other certificates of service including this Antarctic Service Medal given to him on November 20, 1984 as proof of his time in service.

U.I.P SUMMARY

There appears to be many secrets hidden in the Antarctica and we are pretty much hearing different stories every month about military personnel disclosing information about Aliens in that part of the world!

But what a great secluded part of the world for the Aliens to keep out of sight from prying eyes….or so they thought!

U.I.P are going to investigate more about the Antarctica/Aliens, as there appears to be A LOT of attention in that part of the world nowadays….watch this space!

'Aliens Are Out There - And They Look Like Us'

Hollywood's depictions of aliens may not be far from the truth, according to a leading evolutionary biologist.

Aliens resembling humans must have evolved on other planets, a leading biologist has claimed.

Evolutionary biologist Simon Conway Morris says it is surprising we have not already discovered extra-terrestrials that look like us - given the growing number of Earth-like planets now discovered by astronomers.

He based his claim on evidence that different species will independently develop similar features which means that life similar to that on Earth would also develop on equivalent planets.

The theory, known as convergence, says evolution is a predictable process which follows a rigid set of rules.

"I would argue that in any habitable zone that doesn't boil or freeze, intelligent life is going to emerge, because intelligence is convergent," he said.

"One can say with reasonable confidence that the likelihood of something analogous to a human evolving is really pretty high.

"And given the number of potential planets that we now have good reason to think exist, even if the dice only come up the right way every one in 100 throws, that still leads to a very large number of intelligences scattered around, that are likely to be similar to us."

The argument is put forward in his new book The Runes Of Evolution.

He has previously claimed that aliens would resemble earthlings with limbs, heads, and bodies.

And he goes further in the new book, claiming any Earth-like planet should also evolve predators like sharks as well as mangroves, and mushrooms, among many other things.
