Alaska Orbs

This person went over his video carefully and found out he caught four UFO orbs leaving the top of a mountain in Alaska on August 25, 2015

The quality of the video is poor, but at least he caught it, so we know he did see something. UFOs are often seen entering and exiting mountains in various places around the world. Alaska has a very low population, and that’s what aliens like when choosing to make a base underground. Eyewitness states:

California Triangle

Santa Monica Mountains – On August 26, 2015 at 10:55 pm, I saw VERY colorful blinking lights to the northwest just above the mountaintops. At first, I thought it was a silent helicopter until I looked more closely and saw it was amazingly colorful. It had an amazing array of bright colors that pulsated very quickly and yet fuzzy like a big star. It was pulsating colors, flashing, and maneuvering very quickly. I never seen an object move so erratically and videoed for 7 minutes. I videoed the object in sharp shapes and pulsating colors. After it moved for a bit it then appeared to remain in one spot. Tujunga – I awoke from a deep sleep and my room was lit up with my big window open and I looked outside and saw all these small beings about three foot tall childlike little being s in July of 1993. They seemed very happy and I felt very safe and not scared at all. My boyfriend was asleep in the bed next to me and never woke up. Little beings came from a light that came straight down into my backyard. My dogs never barked but kept by my side. I got up to see what was going on. I went to the sliding glass door in the next room and the little beings were there to greet me. I walked out the door but my two dogs stayed inside and did not bark as they often do. The beings were playing around me having fun and getting me laughing. They pulled me to the tunnel of the light and I went up into the light. I don’t remember anything beyond that.

This happened three nights in a row when a tall bald man wearing strange white and silver clothing awakened me. He looked just like the statue of a man found at the ancient Göbekli Tepee archeological site in Turkey. He had come to get me again and this time I was tired and did not want to go with him. I grabbed my pillow, threw it at him, and said, “I don’t want to go anymore!” That was the last I ever seen of them. When I was watching the TV show ancient aliens I saw the statue of the man and realized that was him. I had a small incision inside my right ankle in the shape of a triangle after this happened. Colorado Orb

Vail — I was first aware the object was in the town where I live from a local Buy and Sell Face book page. Someone posted a cell phone picture of it and asked if anyone else has seen it. They described it as a silver disc going slowly across the sky. A person 30 miles away in Vail said he could see it hovering above the Gore Range. I got in my car with my infrared camera, drove on I-70 going towards Vail, and saw it hovering there. I was very excited to get my first video before it was covered by dense clouds. Florida Pill

Tampa — I was sitting with my dog behind the glass door on August 25, 2015, and I looked up to see a silvery, pill-shaped object. It was very high up was traveling in a slow, straight line northward. I thought at first it was a jet, but I did a double take and realized it had no visible wings and left no trail. There was an airplane to the far left of the sky travelling in the same direction, and if the object was making any noise, it would have been drowned out by the plane. It was reflecting sunlight as it moved across the sky and then became blocked from view by trees. I didn’t see it after that. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Illinois Disc

Cicero – I was in my backyard on August 12, 2015, laying down near Midway Airport taking photos and video of the low flying planes. When I saw this peculiar white capsule, flying by it wasn’t as low as some of the regular airplanes. This thing clearly had no wings and was more chunky-looking. I don’t know what the object was and I am not saying it was a UFO. I don’t think this object departed from the airport and made no noise. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Minnesota Lights

Shakopee –- A co-worker of mine took this photo two nights ago on August 24, 2015, of a circle of lights. It looks to be the same as the one you posted. Has anyone determined what this may be?
Note: An almost identical photo was taken in Chanhassen, Minnesota on August 9, 2015. Click here to read this report. Also, the photo seems to show ground lights shining into the sky.  Mississippi Lights

Lewisburg — I am a 15+ year UFOlogist in the Memphis Metro area, this is the first one worthy of reporting that I shot on February 15, 2015. I had been seeing bright lights in that same location for several nights. It snowed yesterday, so it made it easier to see last night, and the craft was much closer, much brighter, and very visible. I ran outside at 12:46 AM CST and began filming of the hovering object low over cornfields. I ran out from bed with no shoes on in the snow 20 minutes it seemed to just vanish. It appeared to be one very large triangular craft with a 3-D effect when viewing. It ejected smaller orb lights.

Video shows tiny drone orbs that orbit the UFOs. These are guidance and defense orbs. They protect the main ship as an early warning system. The Orbs are circled in the image. New Jersey Massive Triangular Shape

Manalapan — I reported it to the Manalapan NJ Police Department and the cops think I am crazy. They said “Sorry Mame we cannot do anything about it”, REALLY! Something is flying over my head in our air space and you cannot do anything about it? It was around 9:50 PM on June 22, 2015. I looked to see this thing flying towards me as it got closer it got larger in size. It was massive about 300 feet wide and 400 feet long, extremely dark black, triangular shape, it reflected no light. I could see the triangular shape clearly and there were no lights anywhere. It was so very dark, scary, and very creepy, like a bat mobile. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New York Flying Object

Cheektowaga — On August 22, 2015, a shiny object caught my eye and I took a zoomed picture. I have never seen anything like it before. I spotted it above KBUF. It doesn’t look like a weather balloon as I have seen many launched. If you have any Idea, what it is let me know. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Rhode Island Lights

Providence — My husband and I went to our car with another couple, I decided to take a picture of the city skyline.

I took several shots with my IPhone, and noticed that there was a row of over 10 very tiny lights in the picture in a straight line.

It was high up in the sky. It’s just a straight line of tiny lights. In previous shots, there were no lights. My friend also had the lights in one of his shots. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Lights

Monessen – On August 1, 2015, I was out on the back deck.

I saw these lights in the sky and took three similar photos.

Chichester — I did not witness this, but my friend did on August 29, 2015, and took this image. She said people were pulling over on the highway to watch the orange orbs on Route 322 in Chichester PA. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Tennessee Lights

Rockwood — My friend and I pull up to the stop sign on August 28, 2015, and see a huge band of uneven lights with illumination between the lights. I try to take a picture, but it will not show up in my Android phone even though we both clearly see it. A police car pulls up behind my car and I point to the sky and ask him if that looks weird and he says, “Yes it kind of does either a UFO or something that belongs to our government”. He spent 35 years on night shift and he has never seen anything like it. He watches for a while and leaves.

Later, the bright huge light takes off and we follow north on Highway 27. The bottom was sort shaped like the batman symbol. It also has a row of bright lights on a solid band around it.

Austin – I saw something very weird in the sky on August 27, 2015. The picture above is a screenshot I was finally able to get yesterday.

Washington DC Lights

District of Columbia — I have been seeing some large bright lights/hovering over D.C. from Brookland NE. I saw a white unmarked oblong craft during the day over Ft Totten Station. The first object over Brookland was a large bright red object over the Bnai Temple. During the months, I got off a train in Brookland between 10 PM and 12:30 AM. During several hours, I noticed many large bright objects over a brightly lit station. I noticed object was moving very quickly and zigzagging. A second larger blue-green object was directly opposite the initial red emitting object. In June, I took 600-700 photos of objects hovering, shape shifting, rotating, and morphing. Suddenly a high super warp speed oblong object flies by me very close. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Australia Disc

Townsville — My name is Roy Fox and back on March 31, 1973, my wife Dianne and I had a very up close and personal experience with a large orange/red UFO that appeared over us and closely interacted with us for a considerable but undetermined length of time. The start of the experience was at about 9.15 PM and there appear to be at least three clear fully conscious experiences of very close contact and communication and interaction with this object. The experience ended when we found ourselves back at our apartment at about 00.15 with no clear recollection of the one-mile drive home.

While on the internet, I saw a photograph of an identical object. The story said that Carlos Diaz in Mexico took the photograph. I tried many ways to contact Carlos Diaz all failed. It took me six years to finally connect with Carlos Diaz in Mexico, and through the help of many powerful people in Mexico, I have been to Mexico a number of times. I have been graciously accepted and welcomed into a loving, peaceful, group who has patiently and slowly educated me regarding my place in the scheme of things regarding the survival of all forms of life on this planet. Broome – I took this rather dull image from the cabin window of the Kimberley Quest 2 (cruise boat) in early morning on June 6, 2011, when we were cruising along the Kimberley coast of Western Australia. Upon returning home, while zooming in I found this image of a shiny and reflective half-hidden object with multiple lights. I didn’t see it when I took the photographed. This strange cloudbank was the only one around for miles that quickly disappeared. There is no part of the inside of the camera that remotely resembles the object. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Brazil Twin Lights

Campo Largo, Parana – I sighted two twin lights brighter than Venus did on August 30, 2015. They were one degree apart at a 20-degree elevation. They had identical behavior, stationary and certainly, they were not aircraft, flares or satellites. They remained at maximum brightness for 5 seconds decreasing linearly for about 10 seconds. Canada Cylinder

Scarborough, Ontario — Paul Shishis writes, “Here is another bizarre sighting taken on August 14, 2015 @ 10:10 am. While on morning break outside work having a smoke. I witnessed three strange objects crossing west to east about quarter mile south about one or more thousand feet. The trio moved together with two higher than one”. Could these be balloons as it is a hard call to decide? Due to shape and color really makes one wonder. They were sighted for near five minutes until out o sight heading eastward. I snapped pictures and video at a long distance to the west of this bright white object. I continued to observe and take pictures until it went east over my roof. It was not a balloon due to being so slow – near stationary being there was some wind that morning. Thanks to Paul Shishis

Greece Object

Chios Island – I was cycling and my boyfriend took a picture of me and something appeared in the photo on August 25, 2015 taken by an iPhone 6. We did not actually witness the event but we captured it on the photo unknowingly!

We took the same picture twice within a minute nearing sunset, in the first picture it appears, and in the second, it does not. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Norway Lights

Uthaug — I was in a window taking photos of the beautiful moon on May 23, 2015, when these “horizontal rays”, were taken.

One of them was white and the other two blue ones showed when I took the photo. In my computer I realized what passed before my eyes. It was a beauty and delight that I enjoyed the event after amplification. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Åfjord — like always, I was traveling with my husband in the car, and I always carry the camera with me, you never know when something is in front of me and I would like to take a picture of it. This was the case this time, far from the car I saw a beautiful clouds, with weird shapes and the light those were extremely nice, so I started take several pictures of different angles. Later on, in the computer I realized that in the edge of the mountains, there were big objects but because of the distance we didn’t appreciate the size of the object of this phenomenon! South Africa Light

On August 29, 2015, I was getting into my car watching the moon and saw it was full.

I did not notice it until I took a picture of the full moon.

Spain Cylinder

Barcelona — My son-in-law was taking afew shots over with a “Samsung Galaxy Note 4” cell phone, on July 7th, 2015. Out of four photos, he took only one of the photos revealed a strangely shaped craft. You can see its roughly cigar-shaped, with a “swallow tail”, and it’s got a very straight dark band around its’ “beltline”. Near to what looks like it could be the front end, a sharp vertical line cuts downward thru that dark belt-line. Reminds me of the “A pillar” on cars. The “rear end” appears to be aerodynamic. It made no discernible noise. It’s obviously not a plane, helicopter, harrier, weather balloon.
What could it be?
1. Bird. Maybe, because of the “swallow tail” back end. Birds may fold their wings back tightly if diving, but not so much when flying horizontal. But even if it’s wings were folded back compactly, it still wouldn’t be shaped just like this, nor have that sharply defined, very straight dark belt-line.
2. Blimp. Better possibility. However, a google search for blimps, “blimps in Spain”, etc, turned up nothing at all that looks like this. Also, none of the other pictures taken just one or two seconds before + after this picture was taken show any blimps in the sky. This object came or materialized and dematerialized very suddenly, and blimps can’t do that.
3. Insect. It doesn’t look like any insect that I’ve ever seen or heard about.
4. Drone, with a fake body mounted. Maybe, but it’s apparent size (at apx 1000 ft away from the camera) is huge, and not in keeping with typical drones. Also, it made no noise, 5. Balloons and kites cannot appear and disappear instantaneously, either.

Note that the light colored “halo” around the object is just typical for this camera. We found the very same bright halo effect also appears around birds, in pictures taken the same day with the same camera.

UK/England Triangle

Rushden — I sat in my garden relaxing and drinking a weak mix of Pimms and Lemonade, on August 8, 2015. At 10:15 pm, I was waiting for the pass of the ISS when a triangle object appeared over my rooftop. It was on a northern heading and turned northwest and after a few seconds, was gone over trees. The three orange lights were not very bright and seemed to fade a little as the object moved away. I felt it was 15-20 meters above ground and moving at 20-30 kph. BERMUDA TRIANGLE: SHIP REAPPEARS 90 YEARS AFTER GOING MISSING

Havana| The Cuban Coast Guard announced this morning, that they had intercepted an unmanned ship heading for the island, which is presumed to be the SS Cotopaxi, a tramp steamer which vanished in December 1925 and has since been connected to the legend of the Bermuda Triangle.

The Cuban authorities spotted the ship for the first time on May 16, near a restricted military zone, west of Havana. They made many unsuccessful attempts to communicate with the crew, and finally mobilized three patrol boats to intercept it.

When they reached it, they were surprised to find that the ship was actually a nearly 100-year old steamer identified as the Cotopaxi, a name famously associated with the legend of the Bermuda Triangle. There was no one on board and the ship seemed to have been abandoned for decades, suggesting that this could actually be the tramp freighter that disappeared in 1925.

An exhaustive search of the ship led to the discovery of the captain’s logbook. It was, indeed, associated with the Clinchfield Navigation Company, the owners of the SS Cotopaxi, but hasn’t brought any clue concerning what happened to the ship over the last 90 years.

Cuban expert, Rodolfo Salvador Cruz, believes that the captain’s logbook is authentic. This document is full of precious information concerning the life of the crew before the ship’s disappearance, but the entries stop suddenly on December 1, 1925.

On 29 November 1925, the SS Cotopaxi departed Charleston, South Carolina, and headed towards Havana, Cuba. The ship had a crew of 32 men, under the command of Captain W. J. Meyer, and was carrying a cargo of 2340 tons of coal. It was reported missing two days later, and was unheard of for almost 90 years.

The Vice President of Council of Ministers, General Abelardo Colomé, announced that the Cuban authorities were going to conduct a thorough investigation to elucidate the mystery of the ship’s disappearance and reappearance.

• “It is very important for us to understand what happened”  says General Colomé. “Such incidents could be really bad for our economy, so  want to make sure that this kind of disappearance doesn’t happen again. The time has come to solve the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, once and for all.”

The Bermuda Triangle is a loosely defined region covering the area between Miami, Puerto Rico and Bermuda, where dozens of ships and planes have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Popular culture has attributed many of the disappearances to paranormal and supernatural phenomena, or to the activity of extraterrestrial beings.  One explanation, even pins the blame on leftover technology from the mythical lost continent of Atlantis.

Despite the popularity of all these strange theories, most scientists don’t even recognize the existence of the Bermuda Triangle, and blame human mistakes and natural phenomena for the disappearances.

The mysterious reappearance of the SS Cotopaxi has, however, already generated a lot of interest in the scientific community and could push some experts to change their mind on the subject.

NASA is developing a “hedgehog” robot to tumble around comets and asteroids

Imagine an army of tumbling, twirling, gyrating robots exploring faraway icy bodies. Do they look anything like this?

That’s NASA’s Hedgehog robot, performing a “tornado” maneuver designed to escape from a deep sinkhole on a comet. The US space agency, together with Stanford and MIT, is developing a swarm of these little buggers to traverse the rocky, icy landscapes on comets and asteroids that normal probes can’t explore easily. Why? Microgravity.

The gravity on these space rocks is a fraction of what it is here on Earth. According to NASA, a person of average weight would weigh as little as a paperclip on a comet. That means that normal space rovers, like Mars Curiosity, would not be able to generate traction on a comet, and would likely end up flipping over if it tried moving:

Enter the Hedgehog, which is essentially just a small, sturdy cube with spikes on each edge. No wheels needed. “Hedgehog is a different kind of robot that would hop and tumble on the surface instead of rolling on wheels,” said Issa Nesnas, head of the Hedgehog team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “It is shaped like a cube and can operate no matter which side it lands on.”

NASA and Stanford both tested Hedgehog prototypes aboard a C-9 aircraft (which NASA uses to research microgravity), and found that the robots work indeed well in reduced gravity environments. NASA’s prototype weighs about 11 pounds (5 kilograms), but the agency expects it to weigh twice as much once scientific instruments are added to the inside. Both NASA’s and Stanford’s prototypes use flywheels to create the robot’s spinning motion, though the two use slightly different braking mechanisms.

According to the researchers, Hedgehog robots are cheaper to build than normal rovers. The idea is that a mothership would release several of them onto a comet or asteroid at a time, allowing them to “spread out to make discoveries on a world never traversed before.”

While we haven’t seen anything quite like this in either real life or science fiction (unless you count Sonic the Hedgehog), it does slightly resemble the Interstellar robots TARS and CASE, when they go into cartwheel mode (spoilers below):

New Hampshire town celebrates 'The Incident at Exeter'; noted 1965 UFO sighting sparked probe

EXETER, N.H. (AP) — They say a lightning strike started a fire in the Exeter, New Hampshire, town hall that caused the cancellation of a UFO festival the first year it was hosted by the local Kiwanis Club.

That's what they say anyway. (Cue the eerie music and get Steven Spielberg on the line right away.)

Fifty years ago, a frightened 18-year-old high school graduate and future Navy seaman named Norman Muscarello told police he had seen an unidentified flying object. The event that became known as "The Incident at Exeter" sparked an Air Force investigation and became one of the nation's most celebrated and scrutinized sightings.

The Exeter UFO Festival that runs through this weekend brings together a gathering of notable UFO-logists, true believers, skeptics and the merely curious to raise money for kids' charities and talk about just what the heck happened that night.

Bill Smith, president of the Kiwanis Club of the Exeter Area, said the festival was the brainchild of Dean Merchant, a Kiwanian and UFO enthusiast and researcher. The Kiwanis has been sponsoring it for the last six of its seven years.

"He just was fascinated as to just what happened 50 years ago," Smith said. "He was saying, 'Nobody talks about it anymore. Nobody recognizes the significance of the event anymore.'"

Here's the story:

Muscarello, who died in 2003, was hitchhiking home on Sept. 3, 1965, when he saw strange lights in the woods in nearby Kensington. The lights moved toward him. He panicked, dove into a ditch and, when the lights moved back into the woods, bolted for a nearby farmhouse for help. The house was empty so he flagged down a motorist who took him to the Exeter Police Department. An officer went back to the farmhouse with Muscarello and later said he had also seen a flying object that he couldn't explain. Sightings came in from others in the area, too.

The U.S. Air Force said the sightings were either a mirage caused by a temperature inversion or one of five B-47 planes in the area at the time. A definitive answer was never given.

The Exeter festival is still, at its heart, a fundraiser for children's charities supported by Kiwanis. It's not the big affair that draws thousands each July to Roswell, New Mexico, where the 1947 crash of a flying object ignited a still-burning debate over the existence of extraterrestrial life.

But this anniversary year will attract 600 to 700 people who'll buy little green aliens, spaceships, T-shirts, coffee mugs and hot dogs. They'll also hear from UFO researchers including Stanton Friedman, Richard Dolan and Jennifer Stein.

The event is family-friendly and geared for fun. But Smith cautions that there's a line between having fun and poking fun.

"A large percentage of the audience are true believers," he said. "They do take it seriously."

Not everybody does, he said.

"Quite frankly, we'll get people who aren't happy about this and they'll say, 'Do you really believe in this stuff?' "There's still some of that. Not as much as in the past when they'd say, 'Man, you guys are a bunch of whack jobs!"

UFOs: The Trail Is Stale

One thing that strikes me about claims of alien visitation is that so much of the evidence is musty and fusty.

 

Every day, I get stories and articles from people around the world who aggregate UFO news. But much of it is not news — it’s olds. The folks who think there’s good proof that Earth is a stomping ground for extraterrestrials are still hung up on the Roswell incident of 1947 or its British opposite number, the Rendlesham Forest event of 1980. They’re still citing the testimony of aging politicians, defense establishment types and Apollo astronauts who “know something.”

 

The few alternatives to this vintage archive are contemporary photos and videos of vague lights in the sky, low-resolution and low-confidence material that isn’t likely to sway many scientists. The good stuff seems to be the old stuff.

 

To better judge if this is really true, I trawled the web for listings of “the best UFO cases.” I quickly collected nearly 100 events that were considered worthy, of which 60 were unique, in the sense of not being repeats (e.g., the Roswell incident appears on most of these lists).

 

I then plotted up the year in which each of these unique events took place, virtually all since 1940. And guess what? By far the majority occurred in the first half of the last 76 years.

 

The quality UFO evidence is getting long in the tooth.

 

So what’s going on? Our technology for documenting alien spacecraft — if you assume they’re real — is substantially better than even a few decades ago. An Apple iPhone’s camera now boasts 8 megapixels, which I reckon is a hundred times as many as the 8 millimeter movie film we had in the 1960s. These fabulous cameras are in the hands of nearly two billion smartphone users world-wide. And yet the UFO photos are as blurry and muddy as ever. You’d think at least a few people could make snaps that aren’t ambiguous or hoaxed. And I haven’t mentioned the surveillance provided by the 1,100 active satellites in orbit above our heads.

 

Now, some people deflect these puzzling facts by stating that excellent evidence for cosmic visitors really exists, but is kept under eeewraps by the government. This may be reassuring to some, but it’s utterly goofy. Can anyone explain how beings from other worlds have managed to arrange their itineraries so that only governments are solidly aware of their presence?

 

 

Still, this idea seems to have a lot of appeal, even though it has led to a truly risible tactic by groups petitioning for “disclosure” — a maneuver that twists the burden of proof 180 degrees. These folks hope the government will make their case for them, urging the feds to come clean about what they supposedly know. “We can’t prove UFOs are alien craft, but you can!” Imagine if astronomers used this scheme to verify the existence of black holes.

 

But hold on: Maybe there are other explanations for why the so-called good evidence for visiting aliens is as stale as Gothic croutons.

 

One obvious possibility is that the extraterrestrials are just plain done with us. They’ve abducted enough folks to satisfy their curiosity about our anatomies. The Cold War has ended, and so has their fascination with our nuclear missile silos. They’ve tried visiting New Mexico, but that didn’t work out.

 

So maybe they’ve just declared “mission accomplished,” and gone away. That would be analogous to Charles Darwin’s visit to the Galapagos Islands — after he probed, bottled and cataloged some of the natives, he weighed anchor and withdrew.

 

But here’s another possibility drawn from a similar experience with SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). In the early days of SETI, scientists would record cosmic static on computer tape or even paper. They would then look at these recordings at leisure. In the 1970s, this ex post facto observing scheme produced many “candidate signals” — hits that looked good at first, and that might have been alien transmissions. (A famous example is the “Wow” signal, found at Ohio State in 1977.) However, none of these candidates could be found a second time. Consequently, they don’t qualify as solid detections. They’re ambiguous, at best.

 

However, many of today’s SETI experiments can weed out interference and other causes of false alarms immediately. And that has led to an interesting situation: When you have real-time ability to verify signals, you don’t end up with a drawer-full of “interesting” cases.

 

In other words, as technology improved, the number of enticing candidate signals went down. In science-speak, the false alarm rate decreased. It wasn’t because any aliens stopped broadcasting; it was because we stopped being fooled.

 

Maybe this phenomenon explains why, as our cameras have gotten better, the number of interesting UFO cases has lessened.

 

For SETI, the really compelling detection is still to come. One good signal detection could easily surpass the credibility of dozens of intriguing candidates from four decades ago.

 

The same should apply to the folks who argue that some UFOs are actually alien craft. They should come forward with a truly great piece of evidence, a trump card that would allow them to stop playing the weak hand of the past.

Terry, 46, and Jack, 20, from Salisbury, revealed secrets behind the mysterious patterns on condition of anonymity and do not wish to give their surnames.

Terry said: 'The design is drawn out onto paper but whilst drawing I project the technique used in the field.

'I have never copied or used computers to construct my ideas as it would not be at all fulfilling or meaningful. I definitely feel as though there is some kind of channelling which is important.'

'I do the physical work mostly,' Terry's son Jack explains. 'Some nights there is a lot of energy that doesn't feel normal. Usually at the end of a circle there is a definite presence that seems to entangle inside of you. It's very electric.'

Terry has always been interested in the mysterious phenomenon but only started making the circles himself after suffering a brain haemorrhage in 2000.

He explained: 'In the first few months [after the haemorrhage] a friend at the time turned up at my door and insisted on taking me out to create our 1st crop circle. That was the beginning of my journey as a circle maker.'

Jack was only five when Terry began designing formations but did not actively participate until he was 11. He said the process was exciting but exhausting.

'I usually feel done by the time I've walked into the field, but once you get a couple of hours in you start to feel the adrenaline pumping,' he said.

“Looking over Google Moon map I found an alien hive structure inside of a crater. The crater is located just below Lacus Veris and looks far from the norm of what humans would expect an alien structure to look like,” Waring writes. “Near it there is a crater that shows a face, with a large hat or hair, and an eating, the face shows an object like a snake or tough coming from its mouth.”

 

This isn’t the first time UFO hunters have found strange things on the Moon. According to many people, Earth’s natural satellite is in fact a giant Alien base, which is one of the main reasons humans have not visited the moon lately.

Une équipe d’astrophysiciens de l’Université de Hawaï ont provoqué l’émoi dans la communauté scientifique suite à la découverte de Tétrahydrocannabinol (THC) à l’état de traces, dans une météorite trouvée dans le désert du Nevada en 2010.

L’équipe de chercheurs qui a analysé des centaines de fragments de météorites en quête de données microbactériennes a trouvé la présence de traces de THC, le principal constituant psychoactif des cannabinoïdes, une classe de divers composés chimiques qui se trouvent dans une variété de plantes, mais la plante la plus célèbre sur la planète est le cannabis.

L’étude, qui a été en partie financée par la NASA pour sa recherche en astrobiologie, est la première découverte documentée d’un organisme psychoactif dont l’origine est en dehors de l’atmosphère terrestre, une découverte qui pourrait révolutionner notre vision moderne des agents psychotropes et de leurs origines « cosmiques », a admis l’astrophysicien James Han, chef de l’équipe de recherche.

« Cela donne également un tout nouveau sens à l’expression ‘je plane’ », dit-il aux journalistes, avec une pincée d’humour.

Des traces de Tétrahydrocannabivarine (THCV) avaient aussi été trouvés dans un fragment de météorite en 2009 par une équipe de chercheurs de l’Université de Mexico mais les découvertes ont été rejetées à l’époque à cause de leur « nature controversée » et d’une vague de scepticisme dans la communauté scientifique.

Une analyse plus approfondie de l’échantillon pourrait maintenant faire la lumière sur cette dernière constatation, estiment les experts.

Une étude assez particulière recommande aux scientifiques de chercher aussi des traces de mort dans l’espace.

Depuis que l’Homme a pris conscience qu’il n’était qu’un grand de sable perdu dans l’espace, une question l’obsède: existe-t-il des traces de vie ailleurs? Chaque photo de Mars, découverte de planète ou vibration recueillie par un satellite entraîne de nouvelles vagues d’espoirs (ou de craintes, c’est selon). Mais qui a pensé à se poser une autre question, tout aussi importante: a-t-il existé des traces de vie ailleurs que sur Terre un jour? Nous sommes si obsédés par notre propre fin que nous oublions de chercher l’extinction ailleurs dans l’espace.

C’est pour cela qu’une équipe de chercheurs anglo-saxons a décidé de publier une étude pour aider les astronomes à trouver des «apocalypses extraterrestres», c’est-à-dire des traces de morts ailleurs dans l’espace. Car, en trouvant des signes de la mort, on trouve la vie. 

«D’une certaine façon, la preuve d’une trace de vie ou de mort n’est pas très importante, explique le co-auteur de l’étude dans une interview reprise par le site io9. Trouver la preuve qu’il y a eu une civilisation qui s’est détruite nous donne la preuve qu’il y a eu de la vie ailleurs. De plus, chercher ce genre d’événements destructeurs qui ne pourrait être causé que par une forme de vie intelligente nous dira quelque chose de l’existence d’une vie intelligente ailleurs.»

De quoi mettre affiner l’équation de Drake, une formule mathématique censée estimer le nombre de civilisations existantes dans la voie lactée.

Guerre biologique, nucléaire, gelée grise…

Baptisée Seeti, pour Search for Extinct Extraterrestrial Intelligence, cette nouvelle étude vise à créer des technologies capables d’analyser les«nécrosignatures», ces signes indiquant l’éradication de la vie à grande échelle. Le site Gurumed, qui relaie aussi l’étude, explique qu’il s’agit de découvrir «la signature chimique d’un monde rempli de cadavres en décomposition, les conséquences radioactives d’une guerre nucléaire, ou les débris laissés par une planète totalement détruite». Et comme l’expliquent les scientifiques responsables de l’étude, il s’agit-là de signes plus facilement détectables par la future génération de télescopes.

Les scientifiques prennet alors l’exemple d’une guerre biologique ayant anéanti la population d’une autre planète. Des composés chimiques comme le méthane et l’éthane envahiraient alors l’atmosphère, permettant aux astronomes de les détecter pendant un certain lapse de temps. Autre hypothèse: une guerre nucléaire a anéanti toute trace de vie. Là encore, la lueur atmosphérique produite par la planète pourrait être détectable. Plus farfelu, le scénario d’une «gelée grise» est également pris en compte. En imaginant que la nanotechnologie se soit développée sur cette planète, qu’une horde de robots capables de se répliquer eux-mêmes aient pris le contrôle pour détruire toute trace de vie, la poussière entraînée par l’extinction aurait créé des dunes en se déposant sur la surface de la planète, rendant le drame détectable pendant des milliers d’années.

Enfin, dernière hypothèse envisagée, beaucoup moins cocasse: la destruction de la vie causée par une trop grande pollution de la planète. Quand on sait à quel rythme celle-ci progresse sur Terre, ce nouvel axe d’étude pourrait être très vite pris au sérieux…

Did The Nazis Build A Secret Antarctic Base?

In the 1930's, Nazis exploring the southern extremities of the globe set up a base (called base-211) in Antarctica. You may have heard of Operation Highjump and how Admiral Byrd had an altercation with entrenched German forces that overpowered them with amazing flying craft. A map from the Third Reich (obtained by Russian forces during WW2) has recently surfaced detailing not only the direct passageway used by German U-boats to access this subterranean domain, but also a complete map of both hemispheres of the inner realm of Agartha!

After the Soviet collapse in 1991, the KGB released previously classified files that cast light on the mysterious US led Naval expedition to Antarctica in 1947.

The intelligence report, gathered from Soviet KGB spies embedded in the US, revealed that the US Navy had sent the military expedition led by Admiral Byrd to find and destroy a hidden Nazi base.

 

On the way, they encountered and were defeated by a German saucer force that destroyed several ships and planes, forcing the US to retreat and implement a media cover-up lasting up until today.

Officially called “The United States Navy Antarctic Development Program,” the naval component of Operation Highjump was comprised of 4700 military personnel, an aircraft carrier (the USS Philippine Sea among the largest of all carriers of the time), and a number of naval support ships and aircraft.

 

The Naval expedition was headed by famed polar explore Admiral Richard Byrd, who had been ordered to:

 

“to consolidate and extend American sovereignty over the largest practical area of the Antarctic continent. To establish Little America”

 

Byrd’s expedition ended after only 8 weeks with “many fatalities” according to initial news reports based on interviews with crew members who spoke to the press while passing through Chilean ports.

 

Rather than deny the heavy casualty reports, Admiral Byrd revealed in an interview that they had encountered a new enemy that “could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds.”

 

Admiral Byrd’s statements were published in the Chilean Press but never publicly confirmed by US authorities. Indeed Byrd did not speak again to the Press about Operation Highjump, leaving it for researchers to speculate for decades over what really happened, and why Byrd was silenced.

 

 

If the fortress was in Antarctica, was it built by the Nazis, or discovered there? After the defeat of Nazi Germany, according various sources, elite Nazi scientists and leaders escaped to this impregnable fortress by Uboats, two of which experienced difficulties and surrendered in Argentina.

UFO Shuts Down a Major Airport in China Again

There don’t appear to be any official records of a UFO ever shutting down a major airport in the U.S. In China on the other hand, it’s happened three times in five years. Are Chinese air traffic controllers more respectful of UFO airspace … or more fearful?

The latest instance of a Chinese airport closing down because of a UFO sighting appears to have happened late last week or over the weekend. A video of a newscast showing the UFO was posted on August 29th, 2015.

There’s no indication of which airport it is (at least for non-Chinese speakers). At the beginning, it shows a round object passing over the airport. The object appears to change forms and become elongated to a cigar shape. The video shows military personnel apparently watching the UFO but no one seems to be mobilizing or panicking. Could it be because they’ve been through this before?

On July 7th, 2010, a UFO was spotted at the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China, at 8:40 p.m. by the crew of a plane preparing to land. The crew notified air traffic control and the airport was immediately shut down. All outgoing flights were grounded and 18 incoming flights were diverted to airports in Ningbo and Wuxi.

Normal operations were resumed somewhere between one and four hours later, but passengers and local residents were left in the dark as to what the UFO might be. Speculation ranged from a U.S. missile to a Russian satellite to a secret Chinese military plane to a meteor. Officials from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) told the media that the incident was “under investigation” but no record of any formal explanation is readily available. There seems to be no information from the Shanghai UFO Investigative Research Center either. Why not?

Perhaps they were warned by yet another UFO shutting down an airport, this time on October 6, 2010, in Inner Mongolia. The news report mentions the previous sighting and says it was a military test, but gives no details nor no information on the next one.

How to see the Summer Triangle in September

Even as September is beginning, you have several more months to see the large asterism known as the Summer Triangle.

The Summer Triangle consists of three bright stars in three separate constellations. The stars are Vega in the constellation Lyra, Deneb in the constellation Cygnus, and Altair in the constellation Aquila. These stars are so bright that you can even see them on a moonlit night.

The Summer Triangle is prominent on summer evenings, but now, as we drift toward autumn, we still have several months to watch this large asterism (an asterism is just a noticeable pattern of stars). This huge star pattern looms from south to overhead at mid-evening in September and early evening in October. (As seen from the Southern Hemisphere, the Summer Triangle appears “upside-down” in your northern sky.) After the moon drops out of the evening sky in a few more days, look for the glowing band of stars that we call the Milky Way to run right through the Summer Triangle.

Today’s chart has you looking south to overhead on a September evening. If you crane your neck to look straight up, around mid-evening, you’ll see the three bright stars forming the Summer Triangle. How can you recognize them? Well, Altair is noticeable as a bright star with two fainter stars on either side of it. Deneb lies at the top of a cross-like figure – the pattern of the cross is actually another asterism, known as the Northern Cross. This cross lies inside the Summer Triangle. And Vega is recognizable for its sapphire-blue color, and for the fact that its constellation Lyra is small and distinct in shape. Lyra consists of a little triangle, of which Vega is part, with a little parallelogram attached.

Finally, if you’re looking in a dark sky, you’ll see that a rich region of the Milky Way – the edgewise view into our own galaxy – runs through the midst of the Summer Triangle. On September and October evenings, look for the Summer Triangle to shine from south to overhead, defined by Vega, Deneb and Altair. Although you can see the bright stars of the Summer Triangle on a moonlit night, you’ll need a dark sky to see the Milky Way’s luminescent band of stars. If there’s too much moonlight this evening, try again after a few more days.

The ‘alien’ found in a Russian nuclear power plant is not an alien, guys

Someone found a weird, shriveled animal corpse near a Russian nuclear power plant, so now it's an alien. Seriously, Internet?

Adding fuel to the fire, unfortunately, are comments from a Russian biologist -- ones he now says have been taken out of context. Yegor Zadereev had announced -- quite reasonably -- that he isn't sure what kind of animal the decrepit little creature is. That's really not surprising, because:

1. Not every biologist has encyclopedic knowledge of every organism that might conceivably show up in their town.

2. This little critter has clearly gone through quite a bit of decay, further confusing its physiology.

3. It's even possible, given its proximity to a nuclear power plant, that the organism has radiation-related mutations -- though we'd obviously hope this wouldn't be the case, given the implications that would have for the safety of the plant.

4. Even to a barely-trained eye (read: my eye) it looks fairly embryonic. In other words, it's quite possibly a shriveled up chicken embryo, or something of that nature, and shriveled up embryos are as weird looking as you'd expect.

5. Who knows -- maybe it's a new species! A whopping average of 15,000 new species are discovered each year. Granted, most of these are insects and bacteria and other things more likely to escape notice than a weird winged thing in Russia, but it could happen. And it's a lot more likely than aliens.

In an email to The Post, Zadereev clarified his thoughts on the corpse.

"I am not specialist in vertebrates," he wrote "This is definitely some either embryo or aborted vertebrate species that can be identified by specialist. DNA analysis will give answer about species identity. All parts of animal (skin, fear, bones, legs, etc.) looks quite normal for species that we observe on earth."

He added "I am quite familiar with mass media. That is why [I am] a bit disappointed by mistake that I did myself – never comment on issues that might be attributed to something mystical or extraterrestrial."

Ain't that the truth.

This happens periodically: Something a little weird is found, scientists are "puzzled" over it, and the conspiracy theorists go nuts. Let me tell you a little secret, friends -- scientists are puzzled by a lot of things. Solving puzzles is basically a scientist's entire job. When a scientist isn't willing to come straight out and say "aha, that thing is definitely a chicken fetus that's been rotting in the water for six weeks" it's just because they're more careful about jumping to assumptions than, say, the people who blog about aliens are.

And if you still want to believe, here's one last reminder -- This happens all the time. "Alien" corpses make international news all the time. Two incidents in particular come to mind.

In 2009, some teenagers in Panama claimed to have found an alien corpse. It was pretty freaky:

...and it was a dead, bloated sloth.

And back in 2003, scientists found a tiny, unusual corpse in the Atacama desert in Chile. What could it possibly be? Definitely an alien. Until the DNA evidence came back showing that it was definitely human -- and probably just suffered from some profound defect.

But DNA evidence actually failed to stop the "definitely an alien" rumors on that little guy, and I'm sure Russia's weird baby chicken won't be any different.

UFO Sightings On Mars: A Product Of Pareidolia? NASA Allegedly Conceals Truth About Red Planet

Claims of UFO sightings on Mars have recently made headlines and UFO fans have accused NASA of allegedly concealing the truth about the Red Planet. But a NASA scientist who works on the Mars rover project believed that the people who find such sightings have pareidolia, a psychological phenomenon wherein one's brain imagines a familiar pattern when there is none.

Recent NASA images of the Martian landscape have been pretty interesting for UFO sighting enthusiasts, who claimed to have found alien-like oddities on Mars. According toRT.com, the photos taken by the Curiosity Rover, which included a levitating sphere, space crab and Star Destroyer have ignited lively debates among alien hunters after discovering several strange objects that looked like UFOs. They even accused NASA of hiding evidence of alien life from the public.

As conspiracy theorists continued to study the Curiosity Rover images, more strange discoveries have emerged and comments became creepier. UFO hunters claimed that they found the following: a crab-like creature, an alien woman who have been attentively watching the rover, a Star Destroyer stationed on the Red Planet, a lizard-like figure roaming the Martian grounds, a creature with a single long eye, two long bent arms and a thin body and a face of a person wearing a huge hat carved into Martian rock.

NASA scientist Aswhin Vasavada, who works on the Mars rover project, however, believed that the people who found the alleged UFO sightings have pareidolia, which is a psychological phenomenon that causes some people to see or hear a vague or random image or sound as something significant, as Live Science defined. Pareidolia is also a form of apophenia, which is when people see patterns or connections in random, unconnected data.

Vasavada also explained why so many people see strange objects on Mars and emphasized that NASA scientists are not trying to hide evidence of alien life or UFO sightings from the general public, Daily Mail noted.

"There is no group that would be happier to see such a thing than the 500 scientists around the world who work on this Curiosity rover," Vasavada told CNN. "So far we haven't seen anything that is so obvious that it would be similar to what these claims are."

Meanwhile, it is apparent that many people have profound interest in UFOs and UFO sightings, where they observe every intricate detail in the images. While some may find their discoveries interesting, there is no credibility since NASA has not proven the existence of such objects, International Business Times reported.

Until proven by NASA and other credible space agencies, claims of UFO sightings on Mars will be regarded as mere "illusions."

Well, NASA says you can relax, the end of the world isn't coming next month (at least not in the form of a giant space rock).

Responding to wild Internet rumors that an asteroid is careening toward Earth and will make impact near Puerto Rico between Sept. 15 and 28, 2015, destroying swaths of North, Central and South America, NASA scientists decided it was time to set the record straight.

"There is no scientific basis -- not one shred of evidence -- that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates," Paul Chodas, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., said in a statement Thursday.

The Near-Earth Object office watches for, tracks and characterizes asteroids and comets passing within 30 million miles of Earth using both ground- and space-based telescopes.

"If there were any object large enough to do that type of destruction in September, we would have seen something of it by now," Chodas said, adding: "In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century."

It's been about that long since a huge asteroid crashed into Siberia, felling 80 million trees over 800 square miles.

An asteroid passed relatively close to the Earth in January -- at a distance of about 800,000 miles, just over three times the distance from Earth to the moon. That rock won't come so close again for 200 years. In the meantime, the next expected "close call" will be when 1999 AN10 flies past in 2027.

Should Earth find itself in the path of a careening asteroid, NASA is working on a protection plan. As part of its Asteroid Redirect Mission, the agency is developing a "gravity tractor" technique to divert a rock heading this way.

Large Microwave Energy Pulse From Outer Space Hits Planet Earth! (Video)

A very large, oddly shaped, and long duration pulse of energy appeared on the Morphed Microwave Background Imagery (MIMIC TPW).

The large energy pulse was detected and decoded by the computer as actual “precipitation” or lack thereof… showing up along the same frequency bandwidths that the moisture returns reflect.

The energy causes a false return to show up temporarily in the shape of the incoming waveform.
 

The odd nature of the energy pulse is matched by the odd locations of the start/finish of the pulse.

Appearing to begin to form over the Pacific Ocean, the pulse travels down to a fine spiral point off the coast of New Zealand, going directly into the center of the storm there. After being hit by the spiral shaped pulse, the storm vaporized off the coast of New Zealand.

The pulse appeared to resonate like a radio frequency signal, and travel across Asia (North Indian Ocean along the equator) towards the central Mid-Atlantic ocean.

The pulse then takes a new shape over the Canary Islands, and resonates out over the Atlantic like a sine-wave.

The ripples of the energy pulse really do appear like long waveforms seen on an oscilloscope (a device used to observe electrical frequency and radio frequency waveforms).

Could this be something coming in at Earth from outer space? Yes.

Could it be man-made? Yes.

Could it just be some kind of strange data error? In my opinion, No… not an error in light of the other times we’ve seen energy pulses having a direct storm effect.
